I have always given my cats Friskies wet and dry food (mostly chicken, reg. and indoor), they never refused it. Since I received the Friskies from Chewy, they won't eat any of it, they barely sniff it and walk away. How old is this stuff and where does it come from?

Placed a order and Chewy said it would come in 1-2 days. Well my order took a trip all around the USA. It did come to my state, then someone sent it to another state. After 2.5 weeks it finally came. I had to go to Petco to get food waiting for the order. So now I try again. So I place a order and Chewy said I would have it in 3 days. So I waited. So on the third day I get a email stating they lost my order...so now they're going to reship the order. Next time I will use Petco or Amazon. Never had a problem with them.

Personally, I have for the past ten years consistently used Amazon as the company that sets the standard for customer service. I now know that honor now belongs to Chewy.com. December 22 my wife and I placed our Coton de Tulear, Cozy to rest. He was sixteen years old. It was very peaceful, and he had the opportunity of being in my wife’s arms in his home. His transition was provided by Lap of Love and Dr. **. I had three weeks previously placed a large order for him.
I called Chewy.com and informed customer service that he no longer needed the items. The representative knew immediately what I meant. She said I would receive a complete refund and made a point of saying not to ship anything back. The Humane Society of Greater Miami North welcomed everything. Two weeks later we received a vase of flowers with a very personal condolences card. In all my years I have never had a company go more out of their way and making such a horrible time less stressful. Someday we will get another dog and I can guarantee you that I will purchase everything and anything from Chewy.com.

I purchased around eight tubes of pet toothpaste. When I went to use one, one of the tubes, apparently during the manufacturing process, did not seal completely on the top of the tube causing air to get into the paste causing it to turn partially black making it unusable. To me this to me was a manufacture defect. Contacted Chewy and they would not supply a replacement because they said I purchased it over a year ago. This shouldn't matter. This was a manufacture defect. I had purchased several tubes so I could take advantage of the free shipping over a certain dollar amount. Won't purchase anything from Chewy anymore.

Advertised 1-2 day shipping is not honored, with no explanation on the website of what 1-2 days actually means. My order will arrive FIVE days after I placed it. I expressed my concerns via email, and received a response from customer service within a couple of hours; however, they did not rectify the problem, only offering 10% off my next purchase. Seeing as my last purchase of a bag of cat food arrived cut open (perhaps cut when removing from a pallet? Clearly not shipping/handling issue), I will not be shopping with Chewy again. I would have paid for express shipping had that been an option, but sadly I'm just stuck with poor customer service and bait-and-switch store policies.

Since this was the first time that I ordered from Chewy.com, I was very excited to think that I would receive 30 percent off my order, as advertised. However, I was only allowed $20 off on my first order IF I signed up for Auto Ship (NOT THE 30 PERCENT AS PROMISED). I spoke to several personnel, who were very professional and helpful. I asked the personnel why customers would not get the 30 percent off and I was told that the offer tops off at $20 and that the site does not state that information. I placed the order anyway and received the order quickly within 36 hours. One of the boxes was packed too tightly and had partially opened and exposed the front of a bag of cat food. The box was not strong enough for the weight of the items inside. Should have used more boxes to ship order so that boxes did not pop open in shipping.

I've been shopping at Chewy.com for years now and I can honestly say they provide the best customer service not only online but everywhere. Just yesterday I ordered a dog sweater and after I placed my order I found it for $5.00 cheaper. I called Chewy.com and to my surprise they offered to take $5.00 off and keep my order. I was thrilled with that solution. Every communication that I have ever with them is always a positive experience. Their prices are good too. You definitely want to shop here. Everything you could possibly need for your pet is available. They also ship in like 1-2 days. I've been also buying my dog's food there. I order by the case and it comes out a lot cheaper. Love these guys!

We have been using Chewy for a year or so with very positive experiences, however, we recently had to put our 4yr old boxer down due to complications of lymphoma and I contacted Chewy because we had received our pup's food order days before and it was unopened and I asked if I could return the food. They not only credited us the entire amount while asking us to keep the food and donate to a shelter or friend, but had the kindest words, asked for our boy's pictures and sent us a bouquet of flowers with their deepest sympathies. I have never known a company to be so caring understanding and dedicated to their furry clients and their parents. We appreciate what they did for our family during a very difficult time. What a unique and special staff and company they have.

I have ordered from Chewy.com multiple times for dog food and dog health items. They have been nothing short of amazing. They ship in 1-2 days... Yes sometimes in 24 hours! Their prices cannot be beat especially if your dog food is on special. Customer service will respond quickly if needed and like I said shipping is the fastest I have ever seen from any mail order company and you get the same respect if you're spending $30 or $300. I love CHEWY!!!

The Customer Service with Chewy.com is by far the best! The coats I ordered for my dogs did not fit and I was instructed to donate them to a shelter and credit was given back to me for the cost. The second order also did not fit the way I preferred and I was going to return it and wait for credit while at the same time order new ones. When I told the customer representative that my husband works for the government and is on furlough the representative told me he will credit me the money now and donate the coats to a shelter. I have never been disappointed with Chewy.com and am extremely happy with their help.

I looked at some of the negative reviews and they didn't actually have anything to do with Chewy as a company. I've been ordering from them for over a year for cat food, snack, toys. Dog snacks and turtle food. I did have one problem with an order not showing tracking information but that was a fault with FedEx, not Chewy. What I found so funny is when I did the online chat the agent said, "Let me sniff that order out for you." I cracked up! FedEx didn't update the shipping information so Chewy resent the order and now I'm getting both of them... no charge of course.
They said, "Don't even worry about it, your pets' happiness is more important." The guy on the phone seemed genuinely interested in hearing about my pets and said, "Oh, say hi to Oliver the turtle too." I live in an apartment so FedEx would only sometimes deliver to the door because the one driver just didn't like going up the stairs but Chewy put special instruction to always deliver to door so they have not let me down in the slightest. Variety of products is great and prices are awesome.

In the beginning, Chewy was amazing. Delivery was really in 2-3 days! Now we are at 5 to 6 days. Now my order has been sitting on a loading dock for 2 days with no movement. NO MAJOR STORMS in the area. But I am going to receive wet cat food that has been frozen and thawed multiple times. Selection and prices are good but if it makes my cats sick it is not worth a dime.
Most of the time my purchases only require a smaller box. Chewy finally stopped putting cat litter in with the food. YEA! My last order included a variety of small cans and pouches but came in a box big enough to ship 3x as much food. It was packed with warehouse waste paper and all but 1 box had been broken open and scattered in the box. Perhaps a bit of training for warehouse packers is in order. For now, I will continue to shop with Chewy but will keep an eye out for poor shipping practices. Please stop packing my purchases in warehouse leftover paper/trash. It is insulting and as a customer, I expect more. Thank you.

My cat was walking funny, couldn't stand on her hind legs, stumbling. Took her to the vet asap. Diabetic. It was Thursday. Friday got the prescription from the vet. ** that no one had in stock. Late Friday called Chewy. My only option was to mail order. Vet would not prescribe something else. Chewy customer service got a response from the vet that day. They were not responding, both of us made calls. They do not ship on weekends, Monday 12:55am ** shipped. Tuesday 2:45pm I received it. They got it to my cat 1 day and half sooner than anyone else would have. I am very appreciative.

I ordered the Dogit Training Pad Holder and it did not work at all. I left a bad review on the site saying I wish I had not ordered it. They emailed me and refunded the money! They also just sent me a handwritten postcard thanking me for being a customer. Best customer service I have ever had!!

I love using Chewy.com and I always know that if there is ever an issue (this is life, they happen) that the customer service team will make sure any issues are resolved. I've been getting my babies prescription allergy medication from them for a while and now that she's suffering with bladder stones I am getting her prescription diet from Chewy.com as well. I was so surprised to get an email from them about a week after my order from one of their agents that handle verifying the prescriptions, or some position that would be aware of a change in her needs, checking to see how Layla was doing. That was so unexpected but it showed that they truly pay attention to their customers and the ones we love and take care of.
Even if they have some sort of system that scans orders for changes like these to follow up on it still means they care enough to set up such a system and make customers feel like they matter. All in all Chewy.com is a great service. (I don't have to lug home heavy products, they have a great selection better than any ONE store you can find.) Their prices are always reasonable and sometimes downright awesome. And last but certainly not least their customer service is AMAZING!!

We’ve been ordering from Chewy.com for a while since Sam’s Club stopped carrying the litter we used (kitties are picky about their litter) and then started ordering food from them as well. They send us a Christmas card every year that is hand signed by several employees – a nice touch. We had ordered food before we knew Jerry was ill that we received while he was at the vet’s. I called to ask about the return procedures and of course they asked the reason for the return since they want to ensure customer satisfaction. Not only did they give us immediate credit and ask us to donate the food to a local shelter but they also sent us a sympathy card which I already felt was “over and above” customer service.
The other evening our doorbell rang. In typical “husband fashion” my husband's first question was, “What did you order now?" He was even more suspicious when the UPS driver handed him a large box from FTD! It turned out to be a dozen roses with a vase that Chewy sent to us for the loss of our “furry baby”. Talk about exceeding customer expectations! Of course I will now tell everyone I know who has a pet to order from them!

A box containing bags of dry toy dog food was delivered and left at my front door. By the time I got home a raccoon had chewed through the box and one of the bags. When I called Chewy they immediately apologized and sent a replacement bag. THANK YOU CHEWY!

I ordered a pet gate. It was supposed to be here yesterday. It did not come so I called Chewy and was told that FedEx out of South Bend couldn't find the house that I've lived in for the past 13 years. Gave them detailed directions (On an Indiana State Highway, 5 miles from a major intersection and on the West side of the road) - house numbers prominently displayed on the mailbox. FedEx tried to deliver again today and couldn't find the house again (UPS has never had a problem). Called Chewy again and was told that I'd get a refund in 3 to 5 days. Told them they should remove 100% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION from their advertisements.

Last year my perfectly healthy puppy was dying from what we came to realize was her dog food after many vet visits and expensive diagnostic tests. Come to find out, the company (Natural Balance) had changed owners and formulations without notice around the same time my dog (and many others according to this site) started becoming very sick.
Immediately as I scoured for a new food, I went to Chewy.com to leave a review to potentially save other pet owners heartbreak as I believe my perfectly healthy puppy would have suddenly died from organ failure like many others had I not changed her food in time. A day later, my review was not showing. I left another. Still nothing for a couple days. So I emailed the company looking for answers as to why my reviews were not posting publicly.
They said there were absolutely no recalls or warnings on Natural Balance so they were "sorry" my dog had a negative "reaction", but not concerned about it because other people were still buying and feeding it to their pets and without complaining. In regards to my deleted reviews, they explained they have an algorithm that deletes reviews with "target" words.
So then I attempted two other reviews, one without any words at all just a star rating and one with very neutral statements, but they still were not posted on their website! Even to this day, none of those reviews show up on their site and no additional negative reviews are being added... I mean, maybe one negative review is posted for every 100 good ones they get.
There are reports of dogs sick & dying all over the country from the new owner's formulation and my heed of warning to other pet owners was repeatedly thrown out in exchange for the website keeping status quo & making a buck. A food that is currently killing dogs still has 5 stars on their website because Natural Balance happened to be a reputable company for 20 years until just recently and now they are filtering out all the negative ones. Completely disgusting, completely unethical, and makes me sick to my stomach knowing how many babies have died or gotten sick all because this website is in bed with certain companies. My local pet store sells their dog food cheaper than Chewy.com, the minimal savings I may or may not have received by using their services is not worth supporting over their unethical, apathetic practices.

I had an issue with shipping for my very first order. I believe it may have been an issue with the shipping company as the tracking said the package was delivered, but I never received it. I called Chewy at 7:00 at night and was immediately greeted by a person, and without so much as a thought, immediately put in another order for me as a replacement without charge. On top of that, the representative asked if I had enough food for my dogs until the shipment got to me. Because I did not, they credited my account for the cost of a small bag of food that I would have to go out and buy. Chewy has gotten a customer for life due to this experience!

In a time when everyone seems to be looking for a reason to attack, blow up and start a fight, it was refreshing to find a bright spot in something as simple as a customer service call. Today a young man who helped with an order issue I was having, went out of his way to not only correct the error seamlessly, but to take the time to speak with me in a business professional way -yes, but that can be scripted. Not his was a heartfelt, authentic way that is not always if ever taught in a training class to do a job. This connection was beyond what I've come to expect. It not only made the situation easy to cope with, but it also proved that age doesn't matter, that you can find common ground and that no matter where you live you can communicate respectfully and honestly. It truly was a pleasure. How often can you say that?

Had to return a supplement because it was a chewable and my dog refused to take it. They not only returned the money to my account, but stopped the auto ship with no questions, and instead of me returning the unopened product - they ask that I donate it to a shelter. Great company who stands behind their products and who actually cares about their customers and animals. How refreshing!

I had purchased a rear harness from Chewy.com for our dog who is having trouble with her hind legs. The item arrived so quickly, within 2 days of my purchase. I was excited to try it out to help our dog get around but was disappointed when it didn’t work as I hoped it would. The product itself was good quality, it just wasn’t the right option for our dog. I called the number listed on their website for returns and a live woman answered, without having to go through any telephone prompts.
She asked me to explain why I wanted the return and I did, and she said that normally they would email me a return label but in this instance they would recommend I donate it to a local vet or shelter and advised that the refund would be sent back to the card I purchased with. I was barely on the phone for 2 minutes, I am floored by their customer service...I actually started to tear up as I was telling my husband. In stressful times where you have a handicapped pet to care for, service like that is immeasurable. I would definitely recommend this site!

I have heard wonderful things about Chewy, and decided to try it out for the first time. When I got my order, I opened the box and immediately noticed that I did not get a free product that I was supposed to get. It was a “buy one get one free” for dry food for dogs. I let it slide because I figured it must have been a simple mistake. I then proceeded to open my cat's wet food, and as soon as I opened it a foul stench hit my nose and I noticed a grey substance on the box. I was forced to take everything out and run it through water to get the odor out. I then realized that none of the cans of wet cat food were open, so whatever the substance was it had been put there. Ultimately I’m not satisfied with Chewy at this moment. I’m very much disappointed.

I have been using Chewy for a few years now and am also satisfied. Even when something is not right, which happens sometimes, they always make it right. Pricing is sometimes higher or lower than other stores - it's always great items, good or at least fair pricing and EXCELLENT customer service. I'm happy to spend an extra dime on the occasion that their price is higher, because I can always count on their service to be top notch. I recently had to let go of my 13 yr old bullmastiff, when I canceled a medication for her from Chewy, I not only received a thoughtful card, but flowers - it really warmed my heart! Thank you Chewy!!

I am always extremely pleased with my on-going experience with Chewy.com. I have been ordering from them for several months now. I have 2 separate bi-monthly recurring orders set up. One is for cat litter only; the other is for a variety of dog and cat food. Sometimes the orders go off without a hitch. But we order so much food - sometimes, the cans come a little dented... and they always either replace or give me a full refund.
The last order came with a few cases missing. I ordered 4 cases (10 to a case) - they only put 4 cans in the box. It could happen? And I emailed them right away, let them know... and within a few hours, I had an email with a new shipping/tracking # for my new order. They are SOOOOO prompt, and courteous with responding. I appreciate the high level of customer service. Sometimes, crap happens. I always know it will be resolved with Chewy.com. Which is why I will continue to use them. Thank you Chewy!

Great prices, fast and free shipping. Have used them for 2 years, only 1 order late. When I called to find out why, they apologized & refunded my money. About 6 months ago I sent an email about an employee who went the extra mile. I signed it from me, my dog and included his picture. Just recently I found a package on my doorstep from Chewy. It was a special portrait they had painted of him from the picture I sent in the email! They really treat their customers special.

This is the second time I have been completely disappointed with your company. I ordered on January 3rd and you promote 1 to 2 days shipping which you shouldn't be doing. Your email said no later than Saturday January 5th and then you changed it to the 9th. No thanks to you my dog will be out of dog food.

I have used Chewy for quite some time, and have never been disappointed. The website is extremely user-friendly, the prices are competitive, the auto-ship program is excellent and easy to adjust and the customer service is stellar. They answer the phone 24/7, are polite and accommodating, are always able to take care of an issue, and never make you feel like you are bothering them. Then, recently when I called to cancel my auto-ship items because our pup had died, the representative very compassionately offered condolences, and offered to refund the last shipment of food. I was then blown away, several days later, when a bouquet of flowers were delivered with an extremely kind note. This company truly knows how to take care of its customers.

I have used Chewy for about 6 months and have found that they are not able to guarantee their 1 to 2-day delivery policy. Once you order from them, it is in the hands of FedEx. Always have your own reserve of pet supplies for the days that you will be waiting for the delivery. The first time this happened I called Chewy and talked to someone who was very sympathetic, agreeable, and who offered to replace the order which was so much not the issue. I wanted the first one. It arrived a day late after I verified with FedEx that there had been a delivery issue in my area. Chewy, by the day, happily gave me the number of FedEx so that I could do my own following up on their order.
I began to notice subsequently that the FedEx Delivery Manager updates usually did not specify that anything would be delivered within 2 days, but somehow its merchandise did make it in that timeframe. My usual order more than qualifies for free shipping. The most recent order, placed on a Thursday before 3 PM as I was instructed to do, will not arrive until the next Wednesday. Oddly, it was sent from NV to northern Oregon, as opposed directly to the greater Los Angeles area where I live. So yesterday I went to the local market and pet store to make sure that I have food for my dog and cat. I am seriously rethinking the whole Chewy relationship and the fact that they sent me a Christmas card does not make up for lousy service.

I started purchasing my cat's medication a couple of months ago. When Isabelle passed away, I called to let them know I was canceling and why. The company actually sent flowers with a sweet card. I couldn't believe a company would take from their own profits to do this. They are top notch in my book.

I have been purchasing my dog food from CHEWY.com for the past 5 years. I never once had a bad experience. Their customer service has always been beyond polite. If I have any questions about dog food, supplements, etc., customer service researches my questions and finds the best product for my dog's needs. They never rush you on the phone. It feels like you are having a conversation with a close friend! I received an auto shipment and a few day later my Great Dane Bruno passed. I called Chewy to cancel the auto shipments and the young man was sweet to me and sympathetic to my loss. He offered to refund my last dog food shipment. A few day later I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers. What a great company!!!

Their staff is unbelievably compassionate and provide stellar customer service. I struggled to find dog food that my dog would eat when we learned we needed to switch over to a renal friendly diet. It was a daily struggle and I'd end up purchasing lots of different food that my dog wouldn't eat. Rather than asking me to return the food, I was refunded my money and asked to donate it to a local shelter. That just won me over - what a great company! Furthermore, after the sad day came when we had to say goodbye to my little furball, I was overwhelmed to see a bouquet of flowers show up on our doorstep. It came from a customer service rep (Gina) on behalf of Chewy sending condolences. I am beyond grateful for the kindness shown. They go above and beyond.

Chewy.com has been a lifesaver for me. I'm unable to lift heavy packages so delivery of cat litter to my door is fabulous. I did have a similar experience that another reviewer had with packaging (Bags of cat litter were shipped with birdseed and cat toys. Birdseed was smashed and was all over the place). However, a simple phone call to their customer service team resolved that. They replaced the items. And when I order more than cat litter, I phone my order in. They make it two separate orders and I don't pay additional shipping. Their customer service is outstanding. Shipping is super fast. I usually receive my orders the next day. Never longer than two days. Prices are right. Highly recommend.

I have been a Chewy customer for a little while now. Recently got a new large dog. Made a rather large purchase to shipments of supplies for him. Recently found out after receiving him free that he'd really had a real home and I have to send it back. Call the company to let him know I had received half of the shipment and one was still in transit. I needed to return them and get a refund. Customer service was outstanding she informed me that my money was returned back to my card and that I was to donate the items to a local shelter. My heart Group and crew for this company. I have no plans to shop anywhere else. And I'm looking forward to going to the local shelter with my supplies. Thank you Chewy for being an outstanding company. I will shop no other place. Thank you.

I ordered a 40 lb bag of cat litter and a 14 lb bag of dog food. I also on the same order bought a bottle of liquid hot spot spray and ALLERGY AID CHEWS which were packaged TOGETHER in a sealed plastic bag. Said items were included in the box with the cat litter and dog food and this box was DUMPED in my driveway today. Needless to say, the bottle was broken and hidden under the cat litter. The company is replacing the 2 items but the contractors from FedEx will remain employed, so I am now going to be an EX customer. The boxes are too heavy to handle now, the drivers complain and I have to open the box on the porch and bring inside. I started ordering because it was easier, now it is not. It has been an interesting few years. Goodbye Chewy!

I order all of my pet food from Chewy.com. I always have great customer service. My orders always arrives in good order and on time. When my 19 year old cat died, I called to see if I could return his unused food. They were very helpful and compassionate. They gave me a full refund for $131, told me to donate the food to my local animal shelter THEN... THEY sent me flowers!! The note expressed sympathy for my loss. I am absolutely floored by this kind gesture. This is how you keep my business. I have 6 dogs, 2 cats and am forever loyal to Chewy!

After my first experience with Chewy.com and how easy to use their website was I knew that I was on my way to being hooked. I have used Chewy to purchase toys, food & meds for our Boxer & Boston Terrier for a number of years now. Always willing to fix a problem with an order right away & always say to donate an item to the shelter rather than return it. When our Boxer died & she had been on a med that cost nearly $200 a week they told me to donate to our vet a little over $1000 worth of meds & prescription food that I had just stocked up on. Our vet was so grateful & said it would help animals that needed it but the owners couldn’t afford it. The girl that helped me was so kind & sympathetic. A few days later they even sent beautiful flowers with the kindest note. I love this compassionate company & they have the kindest people who work there! Wish more companies operated like Chewy!

I bought a dog bed for my very particular dog and he refused to use it. I called Chewy and they said they would refund the full amount and asked that I donate the bed to a local shelter instead of trying to return it. I also have several items on auto-ship and they always send a reminder email a few days ahead of time so I can edit the order. Editing an auto-ship is easy, and you can also add items to the next auto-ship once to save on shipping costs. They aren't necessarily the cheapest for some items and I've actually decided to get insulin for my diabetic dog elsewhere, but even with that the customer service can't be beat and I'll keep using Chewy for most of my pet care needs.

Over the holiday, I bought a pet carrier for my puppy from Chewy.com. Then, my son also bought the pet carrier for my dog from Chewy.com. I called to return the pet carrier and told the assistant the situation. I wanted credit to my son's account. I forgot the young man's name but he said that he would credit the amount to my son's account and told me that I could donate the pet carrier to a local shelter instead of returning it. My daughter and I are going to visit our local shelter to donate the pet carrier tomorrow. How nice! The shelter will greatly appreciate it! Thank you Chewy.com!

Our dog was very sick, we had made a prescription dog food order, our dog refused to eat the food. We called Chewy, to see about a return, they credited us the amount, and we took the food to the Humane society. Then we ordered some meds and more (canned this time, prescription) food, unfortunately one day after it came we had to put our dog, family member, to sleep due to his illness. I called Chewy and they credited our account, so my husband and daughter took the food to the Humane society. So grateful for all this kindness, not only did it help us but also the families that the Humane society deliver to. The staff was so helpful and pleasant throughout all this. Thanks Chewy!!!

I had an auto-ship set up for one of my dog's prescriptions. Everything was fine for the first 2 shipments, but the 3rd was absurd. I paid $1,69 per pill on the last shipments. When it was time to be notified about the upcoming shipment, it was OK to ship. Well, I get my email showing the shipment is going out and the bill is almost twice as much as the last month! The pills are now $2,84. No one told me of this ridiculous price hike. I called customer service wanting an explanation on how the cost was almost doubled. He said it is what it is. This is unacceptable! He said the only thing I can do is to deny FedEx when they deliver. Well, can't do that as the package does not have signature release. I'm notifying my credit card company to reverse the charges. This is a scam and price gauging. I will find another company with reasonable prices. Never again will I sign up for auto-shipping without checking prices.

Chewy has been a lifesaver. I started ordering from them about 4 months ago as I have an array of pets. 2 dogs, 2 hamsters, and 3 fish tanks. I have no car in Chicago and I'm pregnant so carrying a 50 lb bag of dog food plus other supplies on a bus is just not an option. I have never had a problem and they always give me great customer service. I recently called as a hamster ball I ordered about 2 weeks ago broke and my Syrian got loose. Lucky I've been training them so catching her wasn't too bad. I called customer service at 11 pm cst and got a person within 3 rings. They replaced it for free and shipped and right out and I didn't have to send them the defective one back. They are also not a greedy company. They are always donating to shelters and t.v. animal rescues like Pit Bulls and Paroles and Amanda to the Rescue.

I have items shipped for my dogs and cats every 3 weeks. Super fast shipping and every product I have received from them has been excellent quality at an unbeatable price. I have checked stores in my city and the prices are never lower in the store. Plus, I don’t have to lug it home. Love the personal touches and handwritten cards from the customer service. The Christmas card was a nice touch this year. I can easily change my auto ship right from the app. They have such a wide variety of products that I find everything I am looking for very easily.
I ordered a small bag of cat food because I wanted to try a higher quality brand but I wasn’t sure if my picky cats would eat it. They didn’t have the small bag in stock when it came time to ship so the sent me a bigger bag for the smaller bag price. I appreciated that very much. They could have just said they didn’t have what I order but instead they took the high road and made sure my order was filled. I made an order Dec 23rd 2018 and on the 26th it said that the package was delivered but I never got it. I called the same day and explained that my dog had a minor ear infection and I really needed the medication in the package and more dog food. The representative told me that they had issues with FedEx but would resend it with no express shipping & it would arrive in 3 days. 3 days later nothing and no email with a new tracking number.
Now completely out of dog food I called again & the new representative said that he saw nothing being resent - just that the items were replaced but didn’t see an actual shipment but he would resend it. I’m extremely upset because now I’ll have to wait again for the ear stuff and food which means now I just have to go out and buy everything because I won’t let my pets starve and can’t keep giving them only human food as a replacement. This will be my last auto shipment with Chewy. Incompetence on both Chewy and FedEx’s part.

This company is really awesome as we have bought dog food from them for several years. We recently returned an auto ship delivery and Chewy inquired as to the reason for the return. We explained that our dog passed away and they were very courteous and understanding and they took the product back. Three days later, a large bouquet of flowers showed up at the house with a note from Chewy for the condolences of our dog. FIRST CLASS OPERATION! I will never buy pet food from another place again.

I am amazed at the level of service I have received since I started using Chewy for my pet food supplies a little more than 2 years ago. They have always been very responsive to all my needs and concerns. The response I have received from them over the last two weeks left me speechless. My beloved cat, Smokey, left for heaven after 16-1/2 years. Chewy was kind enough to refund me the full amount of the last shipping of prescription food that I had no more need for.
Today was even more incredible. A vase of lovely and fragrant flowers greeted me at the door. Upon opening the card, I was stunned to learn it was from the “Chewy family”. It contained a beautiful personal sentiment in the memory of Smokey. It was a truly beautiful gesture, one I never expected and haven’t received from many vets, much less a corporation. We placed our first order with Chewy this past Thursday expecting to get the 1-2 shipping as the website specifies. Because of the holidays, the order was unexpectedly delayed. Since we adopted our pup on Saturday, we had no use for the items since we had to purchase replacement items. When I called to return the items, customer service allowed us to keep the merchandise or donate to APCA/shelter AND still issued a full refund! After a long day of work, I inboxed my Chewy order and the expensive cat food I ordered was opened/damaged in the shipment box. I was dreading a customer service phone call and all the stress from having to return the item. I sucked it up and called their customer service number at 8:15 PM EST and received a LIVE and LOCAL person on the phone on the first ring. They looked up my order by my phone number, I told them the brand of food, and a replacement was initiated that moment with apologies. When asked if I needed to send it back, they said no! Phone call = 3 minutes.
Now, this type of service makes online ordering easy and convenient. I will continue to use Chewy because of this customer service. I can’t say enough how nice it is to get help with a live person after working hours and not to have to ship a damaged item back. Well worth it, and kudos to Chewy. I will use the time I saved to write as many positive reviews I can because of this!

I received my medications for my dog for over a year from Chewy.com. I was on their automatic refill list. I lost my best friend Hunter a few weeks ago just after a very expensive order arrived. I called them up to see if I could return the unused items and they said, "Keep them and donate them to a shelter and we will refund you your money." They pretend to accept coupons but they won't accept them electronically like they used to do and like everyone else does so you have to mail them. I specifically write to the manufacturers of the products I regularly use and request coupons so I can afford their products which I order in reliance of the coupons. After a few orders, I bundle the coupons and mail them altogether so we are talking of about $25 per $100 of spending or something significant. But twice now, when I call to find out when they are crediting me with the coupons, they claim they didn't get them.
I don't understand it. Everyone else that I mailed items to at the same time from the same post office get their mail but Chewy. So either the postal service has it in for Chewy and keeps misdirecting its mail or they are hopelessly disorganized or lying. Frankly, I am sick of it and them. Since Petsmart bought them out last year, there are no more sales, flash sales or regular sales, and they jacked up their prices and charge sales tax so if they are going to keep pretending to lose my coupons on top of everything else - I'm finished with Chewy.
And with the people all complaining about the FedEx dropping packages too heavy to lift in front of their door - I had that problem too and when I called Chewy they told me CHEWY packs them to 60 pounds to save money on shipping. I told them 60 pounds was ridiculous. People can't lift that. I have to stand outside, opening the box and carrying the contents inside one thing at time with the neighbors watching. They don't care. They said it used to be 40 pounds and now it's 60 pounds. No wonder half the manufacturers no longer wish to do business with them anymore. The selection isn't there anymore and the customer service agents get dumber and less cooperative as the days go on.

I called customer service and was informed I will get a refund after 3-5 business days. Chewy.com has an exclusive carrier relationship with FedEx. The original problem was with FedEx misdirecting and/or delivering in the middle of the night, leaving boxes weighing in excess of 60 pounds on the porch directly in front of my front door, preventing me from opening it. FedEx was totally uncooperative. After speaking with Chewy, they assured me that they would remedy the problems with FedEx. They did not. I waited an entire week for an order to be delivered, and after THREE failed delivery attempts, I gave up on Chewy, and on FedEx. Ultimately, Chewy, was totally lacking in customer service; and they gave up on me--the customer--in favor of FedEx. I will never use Chewy, nor FedEx again. The two proved to be the epitome of poor customer service.

I typically use their auto-delivery feature to have my dog’s food delivered every month, but sometimes I’ll add an item here and there. I recently ordered a harness for my boy and we love it, but it’s a bit large, so I called to exchange it. The lady was so kind, refunded my money, and sent me a new one which will be here in a 2-3 days. I’ve been using Chewy since we bought a dog over a year ago, we’ve had trouble with him having an allergy to chicken and beef etc. Long story short they are great, they refund your money if something is wrong, sent out a new order if something happens and you didn’t receive your last one due to FedEx and their mishap on their end. Was given a 6 foot cat tree last November as a gift. 3 months or more the tallest post started to wobble, I tightened the bolt and continues to wobble, and then 2 weeks ago another post started and as of today the third. I called customer service and was told that I just missed the deadline of having anything done about the tree because it had been a year since receiving. I mentioned that there was no packing list or anything in the instructions or on the box to this fact. I was told that this is their policy, and I said how would I have known if I was not the one who ordered it - IT WAS A GIFT.
If I had known when it started to wobble I would have called. Now my cat cannot enjoy his tree because of the wobbling posts and he may fall off, it is a useless cat tree. I was told that there was nothing the Chewy.com can do about it, the year is up. It is a shame that they will not stand behind the products that they sell, especially when I was told that it may have been a defective cat tree in the first place. Won't be buying anything from CHEWY.com EVER!!!!

I ordered canned dog food and I could not find the food texture anywhere (not Chewy.com's fault but mine). So I had written a two star review and my only dissatisfaction was of the texture. It was pate and I hoped it was in cutlet or minced form and was frustrated when it wasn't. Without me asking, Chewy.com has issued me a total refund and their nice customer service agent also listed three alternatives she thought my Elliott would enjoy with the texture he wanted and also showed me where to find the texture type.
I work in customer service and cannot tell you how blown away I was to get such care taken in regards to my two star review and so quickly. It's not very often consumers get issues taken care of without any hassle whatsoever (by the way, I tried to edit my original post but does not allow edits). Chewy has gone absolutely above and beyond with their customer service. They offer free 1-2 day shipping, mine was closer to 4 days (holidays, I'm guessing). I talked to Kevin ** online and he gave me a partial refund just for the inconvenience. When I did get the dog food, it gave my dog an allergic reaction, so I called for a refund, I didn't catch the name, but we talked about dogs for 10 minutes. They gave me a refund, and some helpful suggestions for grain free dog food. I am so absolutely impressed with the response and the genuine care for my pet. As nice as my local pet shops are, Chewy went so far beyond what they needed to do. I am now a loyal customer. Thanks for doing it right!

I was astonished when I ordered a prescription food from Chewy late on Sunday and by early afternoon on Monday my order was on my doorstep in the middle of the Ocala forest. Saw a promotion on Yahoo by chewy.com that promotes "Vetri-science 30% off today & free shipping, chewy.com", "30% today & free shipping Vetri-science". Checked onto the promotion and it took me to the products on chewy.com. Could not find any discount or free shipping. Called and talked to a Chewy rep twice, neither knew anything about the promotion nor could find it. (Just type in the product name, Vetri-Science on your computer ((not on chewy.com site)) and it takes you to the promotion.) The reps were nice and did offer me free shipping and 10% off. Did not accept. Lost trust with chewy.com. The promotion could not be any clearer. Not standing behind the promotion or even worst not knowing about the promotion is unacceptable. Have purchased from chewy.com for years monthly- 6 week auto purchase. Will think twice about shopping with Chewy again.

November 30th I placed a order. I don't know how to be very nice but chewy.com is horrible. Wish I never used them. My order late. Got the run around from them and FedEx. Called several times no real results. Said they would credit my full order. Never did. I'm sick homebound and foster animals no packages, no money, no nothing. They always try and charge my card a day earlier. I've told them about this. They ignore it.
Something criminal is going on with this company. Hope they get sued. I'm gonna start a class action suit and win and donate the money to fostering animals. They are all thieves. I called Better Business Bureau. Also they are a fraudulent company. It should be looked into and company shut down and whoever's stealing from our fur babies should go to jail. Oh also I've contacted 4 different news channels. They will investigate! All this uproar this month. I think change will happen and chewy.com will be chewy be gone. Hi. I don't have complains about the product, everything helps my fury babies. My COMPLAIN is about delivery. I'm customer for almost a year and never I receive Hill's Prescription Diet K-D for felines in time. Even my orders are over $100 always I have same issues with FedEx delivery. You offer free shipping over $40 in 24 hr, well my shipping is taking from 48 hr up, or never was delivered. I file complain with your company and FedEx multiple times and I ask if I can pay extra for delivery just this food to be in time and I get answer "NO".
I have two cats diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease and how you know Vet prescription need to be send every time when I buy this wet food. If I don't have delivered in time I have to travel from Western Massachusetts to Connecticut (West Hartford 24 hr Vet Trauma hospital) and ask them for couple of cans then I have to shop around which hospital will give me some more cans until finally I get delivered my order. Every time our Vet Doctor has to send prescription to hospital who will give me the cans. Is frustrating for Dr and us too, because we travel from Ludlow to Connecticut and then back in Massachusetts and try to get more cans from Boston Vet hospital or other clinics.
None of this facilities has ready extra prescription food for sale, except for pet when they are discharged. So please try to figure out other option for delivery this kind the food or let us know how much we have to pay extra to get this food in time and help our pets. I don't ask for mercy and this shopping is not for healthy pets, I ask for your cooperation and try to fix this problem. Right now our delivery is Since December 7, 5:35 am in vehicle for delivery and we are December 8, 4:00 pm and still waiting for food. From Springfield CA I get 3 cans, and I will travel to Connecticut where they will give me 6 cans and this is how we will spend this weekend to provide food for our sick pets until we will get our package delivered. We accept any kind of compromise just this food to be delivered in time and our travel for chasing food to end and be next to this poor rescued cats who battle with their disease. Thank you.

FYI to all dog lovers: I ordered some beef dog treats from Chewy without doing proper research. My Taffy is allergic to chicken and so I usually read ingredients carefully, but this time did not. I did a product review on the Chewy website with this information, saying that I was disappointed in the product since I couldn't use it. Today, I received an email from Chewy. I had ordered about $75 of 2" catnip mice for a local animal shelter. I've used these mice for all my own cats and they are awesome. Unfortunately, I would not recommend them for everyday use at a shelter because when washed in hot water (absolutely necessary for a shelter), the glue melts and you've lost the use of your toy.
That said, when I gave the mice a 3 star review, Chewy responded IMMEDIATELY via email, apologized for the inconvenience, thanked me for volunteering with animals AND refunded my money - the ENTIRE amount! Not only that, but they did some research for me and offered recommendations of what products they make that would not have this same outcome. I was absolutely floored. In this day and age of "corporate America" stomping on consumers, I wrote them back to thank them. And I plan to take their recommendations and re-use the same $75 for the toys that they recommended for me. OUTSTANDING COMPANY!!!

I started using Chewy a few years ago when the price of quality dog food was getting too expensive at the Pet Store and it was a chore to haul the large bag. I researched pet foods/products online and discovered Chewy. I order the same quality product for less (yeah!) and have it shipped to my home for FREE! Chewy now has a Pet Pharmacy and my dog's NexGard flea treatment is shipped to me too (for less). It was so easy to order and they even contacted our Vet to verify. The first time I ordered from them It was an okay experience. The next time I ordered however, everything looked like it was just thrown into the box. There was someone else's garbage in there AND it was delayed a week. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered once more and never received it. After multiple emails and calls to customer service I finally got refunded. I don't think this website even deserves one star.

I had just started using Chewy a couple months ago. I was delighted with the service and product assortment. The site is intuitive and a pleasure. I had ordered several items. 2 of which were a cardboard cat scratcher and a 25 lb. box of litter. They were shipped in the same box and FedEx must had been rough aside from the mismatched packing. The scratcher was damaged but still usable with duct tape. I emailed them and warned of the packing mishap. I never expected to receive a replacement scratcher but yes. They are sending one. Today my doctor also mentioned how wonderful their customer service is out of the blue. I'm looking forward to dealing with this company in the future and I highly recommend them for your pet needs.

Except for just one time in the last few years that I've been ordering from CHEWY, I have never had a problem getting my dog or cat food on time - and mine are mostly prescription food. Also the least expensive that I've found and I've done a lot of online research. The only thing I would like for them to do is lower their high quality cat litter pricing. Thanks CHEWY!

I placed an order on November 25th, 2018 and I still have not received it yet December 5, 2018. When I emailed a complaint I was given the run-around on the real reason for the delay. They credited my account and said I could keep the product that I never received. FedEx keeps telling me each day it will be delivered but it is not. Why bothering ordering from a company when you never receive the product. It was all a huge frustrating waste of time. I would not even give it one star if that was an option.

I ordered food, treats and other items and have not received the order for 3+ weeks. Every time I call which is 2-3x per week I am put on hold for 5-10 minutes. I give the same info and I am assured the order will be shipped. It has been held up in the shipper for no reason and I live 20 minutes from the HQ. This has been the WORST WORST experience dealing with an online order.

Chewy always ships quickly and never made a mistake with my orders. I typically get my cat food in 1-2 business days from them. Price and selection are good and their site is well organized and easy to navigate. On occasion, some cans were dented but still usable. I am happy with Chewy and will recommend them.

I've been purchasing all my cat food, kitty litter, etc from Chewy for at least 2 yrs now. Once I was received a cat food bag that was completely opened/dispersed in the cardboard/shipping box, I had contacted Chewy, explained how I received my order and sent pictures and they corrected/rectified the situation promptly by apologizing and sending me a new cat food bag. After all, the food became unsanitary because it was all completely opened and in same box with kitty litter (although they do seal kitty litter boxes well). Overall, happy customer and will continue to return. Prompt, quick, convenient, helpful and can save yourself some $. Thank you Chewy!

I ordered 2 prescription medications, and a shampoo for my Dog, on Nov 27th. Received an email from Chewy later that day saying they were waiting for my Vet, to approve the meds. Called my vet, was told they had not received the Fax. Called Chewy, they said they had sent the fax. On the 28th of Nov, again the same story from Chewy, and the vet. (I received the shampoo on Thurs. Nov 29) No Meds!
This story went back and forth, until finally on Friday the 30th, of Nov. the vet's office finally received multiple faxes at once that morning and then another in the afternoon, (time stamps on faxes were verified) My vet contacted Chewy.com and verified the Meds, and contacted me, with the fact that Chewy had never sent the requests for Meds, until three days after I ordered them. These meds were an antibiotic and a steroid, which have a very specific dosing schedule. I called Chewy.com again, after talking with the vet, to complain about the untimely manner that this order was handled, and express how important it was for my dog to have them. I was assured that said meds would arrive on Sunday. I had to buy enough meds from my vet, to make it thru the weekend. Until the meds arrived.
I complained that days were wasted waiting on for Chewy to fax the prescriptions order to my Vet. (Even though Chewy.com claimed they had faxed request three days prior) Not True! I spoke with a supervisor who apologized, assured me that the Meds would be delivered Sun Dec 2, and issued a full refund for my order, due to the fact that some had dropped the ball on my order. (That was never what I wanted.) I wanted the meds for my Dog. The Meds never ARRIVED on Sunday! I called Chewy.com and was told that the Meds will not be delivered now until Tuesday Dec. 4th!!! I live in Louisiana, the Meds are in Missouri!!! No way to get them! This is unacceptable!
This company has not delivered what they said they would. My dog's health has been compromised by their lack of doing their job, the way they promise. I now have to return to the Vet, Again first thing in the morning to buy more meds. This was the first time I had tried CHEWY.COM service, and it will DEFINITELY be the LAST. For a service that claims to care all about animals, Their unprofessional lack of service, shows otherwise! SHAME on you, CHEWY.com

Just wanted to give 5 stars to Chewy! I had ordered a Dog DNA kit for someone for Christmas ($53), I found out they already purchased it for themselves. Called customer service to see how to return it and they refunded me and said no need to go through the hassle of returning it, that I can donate it to a local shelter! AMAZING!!! I will now be a loyal customer to Chewy.com because of their amazing customer service, merry christmas!

I don't know what happened to Chewy. They used to be so reliable. For the last 3 months my auto ship orders don't go through because they claim my card didn't work. So I call them and they re-run my card for me and it goes through no problem. They keep telling me the time they run orders through but what the hell does that have to do with anything is beyond me. So in the meantime I have to go out and purchase my dog food. I reschedule the next order and that order is late by 2 weeks. Then the next month the whole thing happens again. I have canceled my account with this company and wouldn't suggest them to my worst enemy.

Used Chewy for years and was satisfied; however, on Nov 28 2018 placed order for $527.00. On Nov 29th saw the same pending charges again on my bank account so now had almost $1,000.00 pending but money not available even though Chewy representative said the second one of the charges would drop off and the double charge was because three boxes of Nutro cat food had to come from a different warehouse. The pending charge did drop off from my bank account, but I went four days not being able to use the almost $500.00 that was charged in addition to the original $527.00 for the order. I thought this was just stupid and said so to three customer service reps and one customer service supervisor. I had a cat that needed to go to specialist, and I had to wait four days for that second charge to drop off before I could have the money to treat her. This needs to be corrected.

Easy and fast. I’m sure customer service is great. However I never had to contact anyone cause everything is great! My dog loves Wellness. Prices are great on everything. In the 2 orders I have placed with Chewy.com I was very pleased that they provide great customer service and care about you very much. One time my litter bag came broken, I called, my call got answered right away, the representative replaced the bag of litter free of charge. Really nice staff and I'm happy to be part of Chewy. I just ordered a 30 lb bag of Taste of the Wild Bison off eBay for $29, with free shipping. I order the same food every three weeks off eBay with free shipping always under $35. Your price is $48, and free shipping is for $49 orders! Just misses it by a dollar. I thought your customers might want to know how to save $30 per bag - that’s with your shipping charges. Buy from eBay! It’s always cheaper!

I live in a high "porch-pirate" crime area, so I only ship to secure locations such as my PO Box, or FedEx and UPS store locations. Chewy indicated when I ordered they would ship via FedEx, so I listed my local FedEx store as my shipping address. However, Chewy apparently has a practice of randomly assigning shippers, based on criteria there were unable to explain. So when my package was delivered NOT via FedEx shippers, the local FedEx store denied it.
I immediately called Chewy and said I could provide another shipping address if they will tell me how they are shipping, The service rep told me she was unable to provide that information, that the computer system will select the shipper later. So, basically I am now unable to shop with Chewy. I was refunded my money, but am now without my shipment which I needed this weekend. The service rep on the phone was very sympathetic, but the company should seriously revisit their practice of Misrepresenting their shipper to the customer during the checkout process online, and consider the consequences of chasing the cheapest shipper. I have since ordered my product from Amazon, who WILL deliver to my local PO Box. Chewy lost me a potential client.

I’ve been a Chewy’s customer for over two years. Had issues in the past but I blame FedEx more than Chewy, for leaving boxes in the rain or the Kibble being crushed by the time it reaches me. Today, my order for 3 bags of 22 lb Nutro Limited ingredient finally arrived, at a cost of $57.99 each. The email said it would be sent in 2 boxes but I was watching the FedEx driver from my front window and I saw him put two identical sized boxes on each shoulder when he brought it up to the house.
I told him I should have a third box because I ordered three bags. He said, "Nope. This is all you got." He looked at the labels and said one box of 22 pound yellow ones at 45 pound, but he laughed and said obviously they’re both the same size. Once I opened them, they both had one bag each. There is no way anybody in shipping could have mistaken that they could’ve put two bags in the skinny boxes that showed up in. So I had to wait on hold for customer service and complain. What a rip off and a waste of my time. I canceled my AutoShip and I’ll never be back.

I ordered 4 gates and a cat tree house. I put rooms together for people. Made this order on Friday after the holiday. I gave my client the amount it would cost and that's what she paid. Chewy canceled my order because THEIR system cant comprehend my address. They tried to say it was my account holder who didn't have my address because that's what Chewy's system says. Funny thing is, I used that same card before that day and after that day at 7 other sites. Not a single one bounced back my order because of wrong address and I received all of my orders from the other companies. Do you know why folks?
Because my address is correct that is on my card AND what I typed in on Chewy. Now that chewy canceled the order, all of the gates were suddenly "out of stock". Not only should Chewy right their wrong, they should be going over and beyond to correct their problem. I only gave one star because I couldn't give less than a star. I will say that Mark handled the situation well. I am very pissed off and he kept his cool. Chewy should pay him more! Thank you Mark!

My first order on Chewy, I ordered kibble for my cat. When the shipment arrived, I saw they had sent me a damaged product that had been ripped and taped prior to shipment. I was very unhappy due to the fact that it is an unfair business practice to pay full price for a product and receive a damaged product as well as the safety issue for my cat consuming a damaged bag of food. For all I know, the bag could have been damaged due to rats/rodents.
Customer service sent me a new bag for free and refunded the cost as well. I will say that customer service go over and beyond. However, that does not excuse the issue that the product fulfillment department at Chewy are knowingly sending damaged goods. From reading other reviews it seems this has been an ongoing issue for YEARS.
Since the same issue has come up time and time again for multiple years, this tells me that management knows they are sending damaged goods and are not willing to do anything about it. Therefore I will not be shopping at Chewy again and they have lost a customer. My question to Chewy.com, is it really worth it to send damaged products to customers, especially when the cost of new client acquisition and retainment is much higher than the cost to the business for a bag of kibble?

After FedEx delivering my order from Chewy.com to the wrong address, I contacted Chewy.com. Customer service immediately sent out a new order and deposited $15.00 into my bank account for food for my pets until the new package arrived. My first time using Chewy.com (not sure why, I've have several pets). The deals, even on meds, are outstanding!!! But even better is the customer service! I had one issue with an item that had been damaged during shipping. I mentioned I was adopting a rescue dog and she would be here in a couple of days... The rep rush delivered a new one at no cost and let me donate the cracked one to the rescue! (It wasn't badly damaged, just a little plastic piece broke off.) I am so satisfied with the whole experience that they made a lifelong customer and I'll share my experience with pet owners! I wish more online shopping went this smoothly!

Chewy is honestly one of the best companies out there. I've been a customer since early-mid 2017. I had purchased pet supplies from many, many different suppliers such as Petco, PetSmart, Walmart, Target, and so on. I've never had a problem with the quality of food that came from Chewy. They offer a wide variety of foods, including high end, healthy, grain-free wet + dry foods, as well as dehydrated and freeze-dried foods, an option that many other retailers do not offer. If there was ever an issue with shipping or packaging or just something wrong with the order, Chewy does not hesitate to rectify the problem.
Just today when I received 3 boxes of pet supplies and I noticed that something items were missing because the packaging boxes were damaged, I contacted Chewy with pictures ready and they immediately contacted the shipping company and reimbursed me for my missing items. This company is honest, responsive, and so friendly! They even send me a card every holiday - what other company does that?? Any review saying that Chewy ripped them off or has terrible customer service cannot be telling the truth. I recommend Chewy to everyone and I hope they keep growing strong. Thanks Chewy!

Our angel baby (Labrador retriever) sadly passed away earlier this month, hardest loss of my life. So I called Chewy to ask if they could refund me her food which I bought in bulk a month ago (they had a great sale). They refunded me both bags and told me to donate the food. A few days later I get these BEAUTIFUL flowers and a sweet card in the mail honoring my baby girl. They truly care about people and their pets. I started crying when I received them. I never would have imagined they’d send those flowers. Thank you so much Chewy. I appreciate you guys. Keep up the amazing work!!!! Chewy will forever have our business.

How can Chewy get by with having a so-called “Cyber Monday” sale and not have the product listed on sale. I could see if they just ran out of it, but we have been getting this product for months now and in the last couple of months... We’ve had to improvise with a different formula because they are out of the formula that our dogs love. I called to ask for maybe a cyber deal price when it does come in stock, and cust service rep laughed about it. That was so insulting and degrading. When we first started getting our supplies on a regular basis, they did great. But somehow something happened to this particular brand... And they won't back their product commitments.

Once, they accidentally left out some bird treats and I emailed them to see if I could get them. The treats came in the next day free of charge! I received my order on schedule, unfortunately where the order is packaged items got damaged. Smaller items pill pocket and Feliway were both damaged. 10 lb box biscuits was packaged with a 35 lb pail of cat litter. The biscuit box was crushed. I called customer service and got exceptional service. I asked what could I do to avoid this happening again. Her suggestion was make separate auto ships and put the smaller items that tend to get damaged in one order. Considering everything is being packed in a warehouse people don’t always take the time to consider a better way to ship. I understand that and am going to follow her suggestions.

I found out the hard way when ordering multiple products they charge your card for the total then again for each item. Twice the money is taken out of your account and held indefinitely - three way phone calls with Chewy and my bank aren't my ideal use of time, although since I have no money left in my account I guess I have nothing else to do today. I will never order from them again, a warning from them would have been nice.

I am most impressed by the quality of the products that they ship out. The items are always as pictured and delivered in a timely manner. I have both a cat and a dog and there are always plenty of items to chose from. The one item that I ordered that did not work out for my cat was very easily returned for a full refund of the purchase price. Great service and I would recommend to all pet owners.

I ordered several products and the seed mixture I purchased had 2 holes in it that appears to have been chewed by a small animal. The med. Fruit pellets I ordered was open which was spilled in the packaging box. Appears not to have been sealed. Do they not look at what they are packaging to send out? I can not feed this to my feathered babies. How do I know if these products are not contaminated? I would appreciate a call back from Chewy. I took pictures of the products showing what they looked like when they arrived but I can not attach them. Plus shipping was late. I was told it would arrive on Tuesday and didn't arrive until Friday.

I had placed a large order, nearly $100.00 on November 18, 2018. The Chewy website advertises 1-2 day shipping on purchases of $49.00 or more. After waiting 3 days for my order I chatted with their customer service. They said it looked like FedEx lost it. They said they would reissue the order and I could expect it Tuesday Nov. 27th. I said I wasn’t happy. The food is prescription food and he would run out by then. I said I thought they should send it overnight or at least by Friday. They said they couldn’t. They did offer a partial refund so I could buy the food locally. I said no, I’ll just go with the order. What I didn’t say was that will be my last order from them. I have bought many items from Amazon Prime and they truly do come 1-2 days.

I received a coupon in the mail. I usually use Amazon Prime for all my needs, but I decided to give Chewy a try. I had recently ordered a puppy gate from another company but I wasn't quite happy with the hardware. When I called Chewy regarding a free-standing gate, the customer service representative assured me that the product was eligible for 1 to 2 day free shipping. I was assured the product would arrive by Tuesday or Wednesday. I was expecting a litter of puppies so this time frame was very important to me. I returned the other gate. It's now Wednesday, and tracking shows the product arriving Friday. When I called customer service, I was told the previous representative should have told me that they do not ship on Sundays or Mondays. So 1 to 2 day shipping is actually 5. Never again. I will stick with Amazon. Chewy should care about puppy parents and puppy safety.

We order from Chewy about 2-3 times a month and to say we are 100% satisfied is an understatement! Our Sammie's treats were forgotten in our latest shipment and at 6am I had a live chat with Shari **. She not only apologized, but no questions asked except, what treats, what is your baby's name and how is she?!! I wanted to write a review about Chewy. I loved their auto ship program and how you can save so much money! When called to cancel my auto ship due to the loss of my beloved cat princess, they were more than accommodating and did it without any issues. This was very nice because it was the day of and they credited my account as well no questions asked. Well then they took customer service to another level. Two days later I came home to beautiful flowers and a sympathy card from Kathrine and team. To say this was unexpected and about anything I could have asked for was a understatement. I have nothing but positivity and great things to say. They have a long lasting customer from me. Thanks so much!

I have a been a Chewy customer for years. Only twice have I had mixups with my delivery, and both times they were resolved immediately. They have 24/7 customer support. This time, the shipment was supposedly delivered, but I never received it. I used their chat app at midnight my time and the person on the other end was incredibly understanding. They put in a new order immediately, no questions asked, and I will receive it within 48 hours for no additional charge. The previous time, they accidentally shipped the wrong food (right brand, wrong flavor). Again, they put in a new order immediately and told me to keep the old food. I could not be happier with this company's customer service!

Beware consumers - this company is a sham company. Worst customer service ever! I ordered a product on 11/8 and it's 11/19 - I still have not received it. They're horrible - do not use them! I could have easily gone to my vet to get the prescriptions but was told by friends that Chewy might be cheaper. They're not that much cheaper, and now that I've waited close to a month to get my product, it would have been better just to pay the slightly higher cost and get my product same day from the vet. I will NEVER use these folks again. I am telling all my friends and pet parents to avoid them like the plague.

Happy with Chewy products however they use FedEx to ship. They deliver orders to the wrong addresses and my last order wasn't delivered at all. When I called Chewy to complain they didn't seem to care much. They did resend order but took two days to receive.

I ordered my cat food and litter through Chewy.com in the past... with their free FAST 1-2 days shipping if order over $49. I have ordered through Chewy in the past and was often amazed with their shipping capability. I ordered them on Friday and they would be here on Saturday or Sunday at latest that amazed me. I just ordered similar order last Friday and the tracking tells me that it would be here on Saturday (Yesterday) and the package didn't arrived.
So I contacted the customer service and inquire about this. They told me since I order this on Friday, they don't guarantee my order until Tuesday at latest. They were very indifferent to my concerns and didn't respond with concerns. They said that the contract is with FedEx and that we should contact them. That doesn't make sense. The contract is with the CHEWY company and they should complain to them not me... I am not impressed anymore with this order and will not order again in the future. NOT IMPRESSED with Customer Service either.

For the pet owners: if you’ve never used Chewy.com to order your pet's food, DO IT. I started using them a while ago but stopped because they didn’t carry the food I switched my dogs to (a Pet smart brand). Well, they started carrying it and I ordered Saturday. It’s never taken more than 3 days to get it so when I tracked it this morning & saw that it wouldn’t be here until next Saturday, I panicked. I called the customer service number... there was NO automated system, no waiting! They answered and knew who I was based off of my phone number! The guy was so NICE & VERY helpful! Gave me a $20 refund to buy some food from the store while I wait for my package AND expedited the shipping so that it’ll be here by Thursday instead of Saturday! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I ordered a dog training collar on Wednesday, November 14. It stated that I would receive it in 1 to 2 days since the cost was well over $49. I live in Maryland and it was shipped from PA (not that far away) on Thursday. It was scheduled for delivery on Saturday (tracking stated that it was on the truck at the FedEx facility on Saturday morning (3:15 am) to be delivered by end of day). That FedEx facility is 20 minutes from my home! Well it wasn't delivered and now they say that it won’t arrive until Tuesday since FedEx doesn’t deliver on Sunday OR Mondays! I will think more than twice before I order from Chewy. I am sure that UPS would do a better job.

An amazing Company from the 1st day I started with them!!! Most recently I did on-line chat to update my Veterinary info when my pups had to change to a new Rx formula food. Not only did they take the info and fax it to my Vet immediately to confirm the order. But I inquired on what I could do about the fact that I neglected to cancel the auto-ship on the old food quick enough. They refunded me anyway and told me I could keep the food or donate it to a local animal shelter. They continue to impress me on every level. Highly satisfied and now I can donate the food to animals that need it.

Because my Vet did not carry dry food small bites Chewy was recommended for filling my needs. I went online and ordered both small bites and wet canned dog food. Canned food, twice, came hard, dry and with the first order both dogs became ill enough to need prescription medication. I stopped ordering dry. Continued to order small bites. Recently I ordered late for more (my fault).
Email stated more was on the way, but I found out the hard way that FedEx doesn't deliver on Sunday and Monday, and OnTrac doesn't deliver on Sat and Sunday. Additionally, it's a toss up as to who gets the order... So I was totally out of food for three days (shipment promised Friday). I have spoken with a phone rep who was not aware OnTrac doesn't deliver on weekends (as told to me by OnTrac driver). I HAVE to find another way to get my small bite and will go back to my Vet to sort that out... And difference between Chewy and Vet products runs less than two dollars different. No bueno!

I've been ordering through Chewy for over a year. This was my first time calling with a complaint regarding a food product I received that was only partially full. The woman who answered the phone was pleasant and attentive. She resolved my issue to complete satisfaction in under 5 minutes. So me and my wife were referred to this company to order our dogs some flea and tick prevention. We are usually hesitant about ordering from companies that we are not familiar with. We placed our order and $100 later everything seemed fine until I tried to figure out when to expect my package. They did not give me an estimated time of arrival for my package which I can live with, it's not the most professional situation for a company that ships its products but so be it. After 2 weeks of waiting and no package, I call the company and ask them if they can track my package. Well come to find out that 3 days earlier they had canceled my order without making me aware. So I contact the company to find out why my order was canceled BY THEM!! Not me them.
They said "oh the name on the card does not match the name on the shipping order... apparently this company cannot tell the difference between husband and wife (I used my wife's card to place the order) so I asked them if they could return my money seeing as I'm not getting my products. They said "oh the money was never taken out of your account." Well little did he know that I had my account pulled up in front of me and there it sat... $100 to Chewy.com. After about 15 mins of arguing with the CS Rep he finally agreed to refund me my money. 0/10 I will never use this company again and I recommend everyone stay away. They are crooks that cancel orders for no reason and then keep your money unless you go fight tooth and nail. TERRIBLE!!!

Thank you so much Chewy.com. This is HANDS DOWN the best company I've ever done business with for pet supply needs. These hand painted portraits showed up in the mail today! No I didn't order them or expect them in anyway. I had simply left feedback on a product I'd purchased that was defunct, and that lead to nothing but awesome interactions and amazingness in every way from them!
THEY HAD SOMEONE HAND PAINT our pups from a picture I posted on their site wearing the little tux doggie costume we had ordered for Halloween! I'm not sure if this is something they just do regularly, but wow, it brought a tear to my eye, what a wonderful Gift. The note was handwritten in 4 different colors! The best customer service I have ever experienced. I would give 10 stars if I could!

I have been ordering dog and cat food on Chewy.com for approximately two years now. ALWAYS, I receive my order within 1 to 2 days. They have the brands I'm looking for. Our one cat has a sensitive stomach and Chewy carries the food that is hard to find. Chewy also serviced my other cat that needed a prescription kidney diet. The other part I have to share is the incredible customer service!!! I just ordered some dog sweaters and two of them didn't fit (I did not measure like I should have). Chewy was amazing and instantly processed the returns. I didn't have to pay anything. The wool dog sweaters appear to be very good quality (thick and warm).
In addition, the order said the sweaters would be here in two days from the order date, I received the sweaters in 1 day. My dogs will be so happy to receive their warm wool sweaters! The one sweater, that was the correct size, is currently on one of my dogs. He's now a warm and happy dog that absolutely loves his new sweater!!! My experience has been an A+ with Chewy 100% of the time. I love it so much that now my relatives are also ordering from Chewy.

I ordered dog food on Wednesday. It did not arrive by Saturday. FedEx does not deliver Sun or Mon. I will not get my order until next third. 8 days is not 1 or 2 day delivery and now, no food. Chewy sucks!

I couldn't be happier with the way Chewy.com is run. Their prices are extremely competitive compared to brick and mortar location. They have some nice features like auto-ship for reoccurring pet needs, and the shipping is extremely fast. The last order I placed for some bulky cat trees arrived with 48 hours of ordering - at no additional cost. But that's not even why I'm writing this review (something I do very infrequently).
On my last delivery I ordered some cat beds, and the box arrived with just a small cushion in it. All the parts were missing. I dreaded calling customer service because it's always an hour-long experience with other companies. I finally got the nerve one day and dialed the 1-800 number, and something incredible happened. Within 5 seconds of the phone ringing an actual PERSON picked up the phone. WHAT?! No multiple choice questions, no 1962 ragtime hold music, none of that. An actual person. They asked me what I needed... I told them... they resubmitted the order at no charge... and boom, done. Within 60-120 seconds it was over. Best experience with customer ever. I'm very impressed and will absolutely use them again and again. Highly recommended.

I ordered diffusers due to my cats marking their territory. The scheduled delivery was on 11/9. As of 10 PM on 11/12 still no delivery. I called their shipper LaserShip at 8 PM on 11/12 and was assured the order definitely would be delivered today. It's after 10 PM and NO DELIVERY. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 due to having previous orders arriving on time and their low prices.

We have had auto-ship for several years. Recently we added canned prescription dog food for one of our babies. Sadly, she died a few weeks ago. I was overwhelmed with many things and the thought of going online to manage/cancel her food, felt like a huge chore. I called the toll free number for customer service and explained the situation. I was met with genuine compassion for our loss. The representative listened while I quickly blurted the specifics. She expressed her sympathy and was very kind. Then, I asked if it was possible to return the remaining food to PetSmart. The representative told me she was refunding the amount of the food to my account.
Again, I asked what I needed to do in order to return the food (I wasn't getting what was going on). She said I could donate the food or, if there was nowhere to donate it, they could send me a shipping label. It took me forever to realize that not only were they refunding the entire amount of the food but I was free to give away what was left. We did, indeed, donate the food at PetSmart (and felt very good about it).
Then, early last week, someone came to the door. I opened it to see someone delivering a beautiful arrangement of flowers. Thrilled, I took it to the kitchen to read the card. It was from Chewy.com. Attached was a note of condolence. Honestly, I couldn't imagine that my customer service experience, especially at such a painful time, could get any better. I've not experienced any delays with shipping and I've not had mistakes with my orders. But, if I had, this experience would certainly overshadow any of that. I never expected such a kind and beautiful gesture and am still in awe.

I had sent Chewy an email about adding a different flavor to the brand of dog food we use for our fur babies. They responded very quickly and told me they would see what they could do. Even if they can't get the flavor we need it was still a great experience. They asked for pictures of our fur babies, so I did and got another quick response thanking me for sending them. This company will go a long way if they keep up the great customer service I experienced. Thank you Chewy!

I placed my first order on Nov. 8. Website said clearly: "Free 1-2 Day Shipping Over $49." It's Nov. 10 and the tracking info says it won't arrive until Nov. 13. Customer service they don't deliver on Sunday or Monday, so you really only get 1-2 day shipping if you order early in the week. Totally misleading. Our dogs will be out of food by Nov. 13 and so I have to go to the store anyway. Rep gave me a $20 discount to help cover that.

We have been customers of Chewy for about a year now but lately our orders have been messed up. 3 weeks ago ordered 50 oz variety pack of Timothy Hay. What I got was a 10 oz bag of mint Timothy Hay. Today we received another order that was messed up. We ordered a 12 pack of Delectables Bisque lickable treat for our cat. What we got was one pouch of the Delectables (they do not sell these by pouches). All of our orders comes from Wilkes-Barre Pa distribution center. BEWARE of them. They try to RIP you off. This center is horrible.

So I ordered a shampoo my dog really needs from this site October 25, 2018. They say two day shipping but I called them November 2, 2018 & the 24 hour customer service says it's been returned to them. Me in need & lying my dog to hang in there ended in another waiting week. She said they couldn't get in gated community. Well it's mighty funny FedEx & the US mailman frequent my place. The US postal man even eats his lunch in my nice building. After the first no-show I provided the gate code. Two weeks in November 9, 2018 and it has been returned to Chewy again. They use rented sprinter vans not real delivery trucks. I should of stuck with eBay or Amazon. I would have had my dog supplies. When trying something goes this bad. Stuck to your old ways you're better off. That's BS. they sent a lady flowers for her dead dog. WTF about my dog needing its med supplies. They didn't offer me jack & you can't review the product it will not & cannot be delivered. But I order wigs clothes shoes. That gets left at my doorstep. They are fishy instead of Chewy. Don't WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

My order was due to be delivered on 11/7/18 but was told they couldn’t deliver without an apt number even though the address was to the rental office so the package wouldn’t get stolen. I called in and cleared it up. The next day was told I’ve in a gated community (which I don’t but find it funny that Lazershipping which is who Chewy is using gave these same excuses so many times when ordering from Staples that I gave up ordering from Staples). Called in today and was given no reason why my order was still not out for delivery but was held up for a “delivery problem” that I had already called in about 2 prior times. My last Staples order was left in the rain in a very public place for anyone to steal. Won’t be ordering from Chewy again due to this and prior problems with the delivery co.

I searched a certain brand of cat food on Google and Chewy came up, stating "30% off today." So I went to the website and saw nothing about 30% off. I engaged in a chat and was told by the rep that this is ONLY for FIRST time auto ship. When it showed up with the Google search, it said NOTHING about auto ship or first time autoship on the actual website. It said 5% savings on auto ship so I asked the rep. He said that since I auto shipped before I wouldn't see the 30% offer. Very deceptive advertising. Nothing said this when Chewy showed up in the search and nothing said it on the website. The rep just said I'll have to tell them to fix that.

I have only been with Chewy for a few months now. I lost 2 of my senior cats within 24 hours of each other. When I called to place my order for flea treatment I told Brianna about my loss. Brianna is a sweetheart. She and Chewy sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers in their memory. I am blown away. They truly love and care for your pets. Their pets is everyone's pet (whatever you are their Customer or not) and that's one of the reasons when Chewy ship pet order that you already canceled, they ask you to keep the order or give it to any pet owner and they refund your money in full. That's also happened to me On October 6, 2018. I canceled my order #** of Advantage II Flea Treatment for Kittens to replace it with Frontline Plus for Cats then when I received both orders, I called Chewy to return the order that was canceled and Chewy had already made the refund for it.
But the Person at Chewy Customer Service asked me to keep the order or give it to someone need it for their cat although the order cost Chewy $70.99 loss plus fast Shipping cost! And that is not only my good experience with Chewy, but Chewy has done that soulful acts to many pets and their Customers of Pet's Owner that not many business would do! It is really sadly hurtful to see someone giving neutral or negative feedback about that Business (Chewy)!

I submitted an order from Chewy which I ended up canceling because I never heard anything about my order and my dog needed his medicine. I then again decided to give Chewy another shot. I was told that I could fax my prescription which happened to be not true. So a week later, when my package didn't arrive, I contacted the help hotline and all they could do was give me vague answers and rush me off the line. I had then contacted by email and got passed around between 3 different people who none of which knew what they were doing. I believe this is not a well organized company and will not be ordering from them again. My dog is now late taking his medicine because of all this confusion that they created. If my dog didn't need his medicine so bad I would have gotten my money back and taken my business elsewhere.

We have been loyal customers of Chewy for roughly 2 years and are disappointed with customer service. Upon opening our autoship package, dog food was all over the box and other items. The bag looks like it was sliced open and we have no idea how or when it happened. As a result, I contacted customer service and have not heard back from them in 3 days. As a loyal customer, I’d expect more from customer service. At least they should get back to a customer within the next day about the matter.

I have been buying from Chewy for around 5 months now and can honestly say this is one of the best experiences I have had overall in any online shopping website. They have immense attention to detail and really care for you as a customer and for your pet. If you do not like something they will happily accept the return or you can donate it to a shelter and they will refund you. Their customer service reps are also awesome and always helpful. Been ordering a lot from Chewy for a couple of years. At least $300 a month. All my deliveries have been delivered by FedEx. The last 2 were delivered by another company known for its lousy service. They have tossed my order in tall grass and left the box on the side of the road with the trash cans. When I complained to Chewy, I was told in an email that the computer randomly chooses the shipping company. Really? So the computer has randomly chosen FedEx for the last 2 years straight, but only randomly chooses this crappy company for the last 2 deliveries. It wouldn't have anything to do with being bought out by Petsmart and trying to save a few cents. Oh well... I canceled all my autoships and will only shop at Chewy's/Petsmart's competitors. Hope those pennies were worth the thousands you could have made from a loyal customer. I also stopped recommending Chewy.

The customer service rep was super compassionate, told me not to worry that it had shipped, that I could donate the litter box. Additionally, my money was credited back including shipping! On 10/24/18 my cat Bella passed away. I called to let Chewy know that our precious Bella passed away, and asked them if it was possible to send back full cases of cat food back to them and how would I go about it. To my amazement the nice gentleman told me to donate it to a shelter and they would credit my account (immediately). Super amazing, I was going through so much at that moment. What great customer service! Then a few days later, I received a bouquet of flowers with a very beautiful sympathy note from Jonathan and the Chewy family. Wow... the tears were flowing! About 10 days ago, I called to let Chewy know that our sweet dog Cooper had passed away and I wanted to cancel the auto ship for his food. They canceled it AND refunded my credit card for my last order because Cooper got sick and quit eating. When I asked about sending it back, the nice guy that I talked to told me to donate it to a shelter in Cooper's name. What great customer service! Then a few days ago, I received a bouquet of flowers with a very beautiful sympathy note from Martin and the Chewy family. Wow... that is customer service and beyond. Chewy has always given A-one service, and go above and beyond. A couple months ago Chewy sent a box of little gifts: frisbee, fridge magnet, pen, coaster, t-shirt, and such. I'm guessing just because I shop frequently for probably 4 or 5 years. I have referred neighbors, and maybe they noticed. Last week I called in an order, and mentioned that my dog had just died. Today I received a beautiful card and flower arrangement. I am deeply touched by the kind gesture of Amanda and "the Chewy family". Crying again. Thank you Chewy.

I ordered Dave's Restricted Diet cat food. I was told it would arrive in two days from the date I placed the order. Four days later (no shipping on Mondays), still no cat food. Amazon guarantees delivery in two days. If I would've been informed of the delay, I would not have placed this order. Never again. Go with Amazon. There is a reason they are better.

I wanted to return a harness that was too large for our puppy and it did not come in xs. They promptly refunded my money. I found Chewy.com about a year or so ago, ordered the special litter trays from them with auto ship to save money. Their price was much cheaper than the pet store chains, or Amazon. Well, last month we lost our sweet fur baby, Snuffles. Canceled auto ship and informed them that I had a full case plus 1/2 a case left, so didn’t need auto ship anymore and why. I received an email back from them with their condolences, and to donate the product to an animal shelter if I couldn’t find someone who could use them, (I did NOT ask for a refund thinking shipping return would cost too much).
The email also said they would refund my last order price, over 92 dollars, great customer service. A few days later a beautiful bouquet of flowers came, roses and carnations with a sweet note of condolences from the Jim and the Chewy family. This company truly has heart, and really cares about the fur babies it serves. I love them, their kindness brought tears to my family’s eyes.

I had called Customer Service to change my auto delivery because one of my dogs, Tara, had become diabetic. A few days later I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers along with a very special note from Carina and the Chewy Family. Chewy is the most compassionate company I have ever dealt with. I have a seven-month-old lab. Let me preface this by saying we have had many labs because we breed labs. However this particular lab is by far the most destructive dog we have ever had. Since recently providing her own private space to live in, I was looking for a bed that was indestructible. I contacted customer service and they recommended a particular bed for me. As a result, I ordered two. One for the puppy who destroys everything and another one for our six-year-old lab. With hesitation, I placed my puppy’s new bed in her doghouse and for safety‘s sake I even sprayed dog repellent on it so she wouldn’t chew it. Inside of an hour, she had completely destroyed the bed. Well not completely. I was able to re-stuff it and salvage enough that it could be repaired and used by the older lab.
I thought I would keep the one that had been damaged and return the one that had not been damaged. I contacted customer service and asked them to provide me details for a return. Very shortly, I received an email that said my credit card had been credited and I was free to do with the bed as I chose to do, but they hoped I would donate it to a shelter. I was in shock and replied to the email asking them didn’t they want the bed back? They replied quickly saying no. Donate the bed to the shelter if see it fitting. REALLY? They asked no questions. They didn’t want to know why I wanted to return the bed. They simply credited my card and told me to help out animals in the shelter. Ordering from this company is a no-brainer. You were at zero risk if you are not 100% happy with your product. They back everything they sell. They back every product they sell. I will not hesitate to order from this company again.

I am disabled. I have tried REPEATEDLY to get Chewy to lighten the boxes (to 20 pound max) for me, but without the $5.00 shipping charges. They will not do it. Adding another $10 ($5 times two boxes instead of one) to my order is unreasonable for someone on a fixed income. Shame on Chewy.

My mother bought me this cat toy for my new kitten. Not even a week after having it, I am extremely disappointed. It's broken! The product does not live up to the standards shown on the ad or on the TV show "My Cat from Hell." I am a big fan of that show. I am requesting a full refund and hope that I can trust Chewy.com whenever I need something else for my cat. As an 11-year-old am sad that the toy broke so fast and I know that the person who encouraged me to get my kitten, Jackson Galaxy, my role model, would not let me down this way. I ordered a console dog car seat, it arrived today but was too small, so I went back online and ordered one in a larger size (about 100$), I then went on Chat with Chewy and inquired about how to return the smaller one. "Nathan **" responded they were reimbursing me 100% for the small one, I then asked about a return label and he asked if I would donate it to an animal shelter! I have been using Chewy.com for several years. I was on the auto refill program and never had any issues with ordering, changing my refill date or billing. My German Shepherd sadly passed away last week, the day after a new shipment had arrived. He had EPI and was on a prescription food, so I knew not to give it to. I called Chewy and asked if I could return it since I hadn't even opened the box yet. They said not to worry about it. They refunded my credit card $96, the total cost of the shipment, and said to donate the food to a local shelter or rescue group in my dog's name. What a wonderful and sensitive company.

After the loss of our beloved Rocky Boy, we called in to cancel our monthly subscription. Our subscription had been running for several months with great success and superb attention to detail. We had a full month's supply of his meds and other needs that had not been used, they issued a full refund and requested we donate it our local Humane society. When on the phone with their staff she wished her condolences and heartfelt kindness toward our loss. A few days later the most beautiful flowers arrangement arrived at our home. The card wished us many happy memories and continued condolences for our pet from 'James and our Chewy family'. I never imagined we would receive such kind thoughtfulness. Our fur babies are family and Chewy realizes this in their service and support. Very heartwarming!

I have a subscription Chewy to have my dog food delivered. I was having trouble finding the food he needed in the stores all the time. It was only there sometimes so trying the subscription made sense to me they have never not had it. It's always delivered on time. I don't really even have to think about it except for last time it said it had been delivered by FedEx but yet it wasn't at my door so I called. Customer service answered on the first ring and said it may show up later but they weren't going to take that chance and we'll just send you another box. They did and said it would arrive by Tuesday and it was there on Monday when I get home from work. But so was the original box because it had been delivered to the wrong address so he called and ask them what I should do with it and told me to keep it and anything I couldn't use please donate to a shelter. Chewy recently launched their online pharmacy and I happily switched my prescription from my vet's office to Chewy. My dog needs .5 MG of ** 2x daily and when the prescription arrived after approval from my vet I noticed the pills were different than those I had been giving her, but foolishly assumed it was just a brand issue. I started my dog on these new pills and within 3 weeks noticed her health was slipping... she has bad skin and the thyroid pills were really helping until they weren't.
The second shipment of ** arrived from Chewy and again the pills were different. I finally decided to look up the pills from my first order to discover that Chewy had sent me 60 5mg ** tablets (blood pressure medication). Not only had their mistake caused me to give my dog the wrong medication for a month, it also deprived her of the much needed thyroid med and her health has taken a hit. I called Chewy and they credited me for the first order. My vet suggested a kidney panel for my dog to ensure no damage had been done by the **.
I got the tests and sent the bill to Chewy. They agreed to pay for the bill and apologized for the mistake. It has been 10 days since I discovered their mistake and have not yet received a reimbursement check from Chewy. I have since stopped my recurring medication order from Chewy and will fill it locally. My dog has a long way to go to get back to where she was when this mistake happened and I can only hope no one else was sent the wrong meds by the pharmacy at Chewy.

I have been a loyal and happy Chewy.com customer for almost a year now. The past few weeks I have noticed a severely high increase in prices! Almost tripled on some things! I looked back on past orders, to reorder a few things, and they are disgusted higher now!! Example: Kong Extreme XL black one was $8.99 in May, it’s $19.99 now!! The Kong black ball was $6.49 in May, it’s more than twice that now! So much more items!! Why? So I emailed Chewy and got a lame email back about they need to keep up with supply and demand! Bull! They sold out to a pet chain and don’t give a crap now except to make money. Well they lost my business! Such a shame what happens when people get money hungry! Thanks Chewy for turning out like all the rest! So sad.

In the past few months, I have been experiencing difficulties with Chewy.com on my shipments. They advertise free 1-2 day shipping on their website for orders over $49, but this is not always the case. I just place an order Thur. morning and get notification that it isn't expected until Tues. Ok, that is ridiculous and at no time when I was checking out was I informed that FedEx apparently doesn't make deliveries on Mondays? That is just ridiculous. However, I blame Chewy for not paying for overnight delivery then. I don't understand why it wouldn't arrive on Sat. or Monday? I was told Chewy service reps have been pushing to get carrier policies on the website, but that hasn't happened yet. IT SHOULD. I will look to order through a more reliable company in the future.

I haven't needed Chewy.com's customer service hardly ever, but recently, I had a few questions regarding a new Rx. Every person I spoke with/emailed was friendly, knowledgeable, problem-solving. As long as their prices remain competitive, they are my first and only stop for shopping for my fur baby. Well done, Chewy.com.

I have been a customer for a few years. Since I moved to Oregon my deliveries continue to have broken, missing, or damaged items. I call and they apologize, replace the items, but it continues to happen. Today I was told that while I place my orders online, I should call after placing each order so that a note can be placed on the order to package things properly. Shouldn't that be the goal? Without a call from the customer? Ridiculous.

I have dealt with many online companies and pet store chains over the years. I have to say Chewy.com has to be the absolute best customer service I have ever experienced. I have a monthly autoship order for prescription dog food I need for one of my dogs. I have ordered other items like treats, costumes, toys etc. and I have never experienced one problem with my orders arriving quick and packed perfectly. When there is a delay, like for a prescription that needed to be mailed in, I am kept informed by email or a courtesy call on what is needed from me. Every single employee that I have spoke with has been so friendly, helpful and just amazing. I just can’t say enough about how much I love this company. Thank you Chewy for being the cream of the crop in everything you do, you have a customer for life!

We lost our sweet dog a week ago and I contacted Chewy.com customer service to ask about returning our auto ship. They not only refunded the total of my auto ship, but asked that I donate the food to our local shelter. Their kind words and generosity went above and beyond. I will certainly would recommend them in the future.

I placed HW Preventives order with them for 3 times and had no good experience. The 1st time after I placed order, my vet told me the HW Test record is expired. I called Chewy and talked to customer service. Told them please put on hold my order until I came back for vacation and they agreed. I called the vet and let them know too. During my vacation, couple voicemails left to me and I was not able to contact Chewy back because I am out of country without roaming service. Of course, I came back, found out they cancel my order. But that's okay. I understand.
So I called Chewy right after I got back to USA, asking them if I can place the order again. I told the lady I am taking my dog to do HW Test on the following 2-3 days because Vet is closed for weekend when I called in. The lady told me this is not a problem. She just placed the order for me through phone. On Monday, my order is cancelled again, without communication, simply informed me in email it's cancelled. Looks like all those communication I made in both phone calls does not exist and waste of my time. I called the 3rd time to Chewy asking for why. I was told I should not put in an order if the test is not done yet. And this is my fault??? But please, all customer service I've talked to know I don't have the test done and I am going to do it, nobody told me I should not place order??? Now you are accusing me of placing order in advance and I deserve cancellation? Fine.
I finally took my dog to done the HW Test and placed the order for the 4th time. You know what I got? An email saying Chewy contacted my vet and asking me to contact my vet. I called Chewy trying to figure out what I should do. Got connected to a lady in customer service is super rude. Seriously? I spent all those time trying to communicate with you guys are just useless and I even need to suffer from the bad attitude your CS gives!!! I feel like I am so dumb like begging for you to take my business. Chewy I sincerely suggest you to take a look into your pharmacy team and customer service team. The whole experience just make me sick and so uncomfortable!

We recently lost our cat and I totally forgot to cancel our autoship order during that time. I sent them an email after I received notice that our shipment was on its way. Chelsea from Chewy emailed me back almost right away. She refunded our payment and was so compassionate and sincere hearing about our loss. We exchanged a couple emails and let me tell you, I was honestly surprised and touched by the kind words from this great customer service rep in a big company. About a week later, we received flowers from Chelsea and Chewy Family. I was at a total loss for words for the kindness that we received. Losing a fur baby is always hard but they definitely knew how to treat their customers during this time. Chewy is absolutely wonderful!!!

I order two different kinds of wet cat food (urinary tract) and Gentle dry food for my cats. My order arrives the next day. However, one time, an extra that I ordered had spilled out onto the other boxes/bags. I notified Chewy that I could not use that stuff, although the other cans etc were good. They immediately credited my credit card. I was real hesitant to use them to begin with, never mind use autoship, but they have never disappointed me.

My dog food are Blue grain free Adult formula but my vet suggested to change for the Senior stage. When the order for Senior food came and I checked the formula I noticed the has brown rice. We call the customer service and they not only send me the before formula free (because they don’t have Blue Senior grain free formula) until I look for a new food without charge, then also told me that we no needed to return the Senior food and we can donate to a shelter. So easy and faster response. Thank you Chewy!

6 day shipping not 1-2. I placed an order Friday night. I would understand it not being delivered until Tuesday due to the weekend but Thursday is a little ridiculous. When I emailed them they said they do not guarantee the 1-2 day shipping. DON'T ADVERTISE IF YOU CAN'T DELIVER!

I have been ordering from Chewy for about a year now and I will be perfectly honest here, I have never found a company more compassionate and willing to fix errors in my entire life. Their customer service is next to none and they ship their products in 1-2 day free shipping (orders over $49) and my orders have never taken the full two days to make it to my doorstep. Their prices are also unbeatable, as I have compared them to Amazon and other major pet companies and they still beat nearly all of their competitors with pricing. I cannot recommend them highly enough, they have made it so much easier to spoil my pets and also buy them the products that they need.

My friend's dog was injured when a loose dog attacked her. She has some wounds and is recovering. I sent her some plush toys to cuddle with. My friend sent me a picture of the toys and one was a duplicate. I sent an email with the picture and told Chewy what happened. Within 6 hours I got an email stating they had made a mistake and would send a replacement and to keep the duplicate. I am so happy we still have companies like this. Great job!!

To start, I have two cats, one of which is set on a prescription diet for life. Buying the prescription food through Chewy is much cheaper than if I were to buy it from the vet. We have an auto-ship set up and it’s always on time and we have never had problems with that. But where my real praise comes from is their customer service/relations. They send me handwritten cards periodically thanking us for our business and just recently sent us hand painted portraits of our cats! I had sent some silly pictures to them of the cats in one of their boxes and a couple months later to my surprise I received these wonderful paintings! I highly recommend this company, I have nothing but positive experiences with them.

They have the best made in USA products for our furkids, the calming treats for our anxious, blind 9-year-old fur angel & our favorite wet & set dog food, so we are no longer dragging that home from the grocery store! My cat, Moki, benefitted from his monthly delivery of cat food, his preference, Crave Salmon. Recently, he disappeared and may have been killed by coyotes in our area. Chewy staff sent flowers and a kind note expressing their appreciation of our loss. Having been tearful for the past week, their kind gesture was heart warming. I recommend them to all who appreciate great service from a compassionate perspective.

The first few autoship orders went fine. However the last two orders have been delayed by the company, Lasership that is making the delivers. Not FedEx which is the shipping company on Chewy's website. According to the tracking with my order, My order has been out for delivery for three days. The reason for no delivery is different everyday, external problem, business closed (address is a home), the third day no reason. Chewy wants to reship my order not give me a refund. If they can't find my home this order, Why would I believe they can deliver the next order?

I ordered dog clippers from Chewy. The quality was not great and they were not easy to use. I put them on a shelf and forgot about them. While placing a new order 3 days ago I noticed them on the page and decided to write a review warning other prospective purchasers about the product. The very next day I got an email from Chewy telling me they were crediting my card back for the purchase and just to keep the clippers and give them to someone who might be able to use them! It absolutely blew me away that they actually read the reviews and gave me my money back. Did NOT expect that! This company is unbelievable! I don't know how they ship for free either. There is usually litter in my order and my package is always heavy AND my order always comes the next day. Needless to say they have made a loyal customer for life. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!

I have dealt with Chewy since January 2017 - I frequently purchase items online from various retailers and Chewy has the best customer service by far that I have ever dealt with. They seem to genuinely care about not only you but your pet as well! I even received a random 4"x4" hand painted canvas in the mail today from them for no reason at all!
Also, after just opening a new bag of dog food, I found out my dog has the beginning stages of kidney disease and needed a new diet - I assumed that the newly opened bag of food was simply money down the drain, but of course Chewy refunded me and suggested I donate the bag of food if I was able (and then of course sent well wishes to my boy!). Just a couple of reasons Chewy is the best.
