    I purchased a pair of swim pants in March, in anticipation of my beach vacation in May. When I received the product, I tried them on and was satisfied with the fit. I set them aside for future packing. While on vacation I wore the pants for the first time and the drawstring became detached. When I returned home, I called Woman Within to make arrangements for a replacement pair of pants. I was informed repeatedly, by two representatives in positions of authority, that no exceptions would be made around their 60 day return/exchange policy. They weren't willing to make a single allowance for the fact that the product was defective.

    I paid $45 for this pair of pants which didn't give me one single use! I have been a patron of this company well in excess of a decade. I have no recourse of action and I lose $45. I am incensed over this complete lack of customer service and refusal to stand behind the quality of the products they are selling. They clearly consider them disposable if they are unwilling to support them past 60 days. In my case, not even beyond one hour! Pathetic customer support. So very disappointing, after all these years.

    I have a credit card that I paid off, I paid balance in full. I closed this card. A month goes by and I get a email from them saying a have a balance of 42.00. I thought that I closed that account with a zero balance. I paid the balanced that I owed, I even checked by 2 weeks later and my balance was zero. I called and some snotty rep told me I only paid $141.00 not $181.00. I thought what a huge lie. I honestly think these scam artist should be turned over to the BBB and the state Attorney General and should be forced to pay a fine. Total fraud, seriously folks try cancelling your card, you will be paying months to get rid of it. It would be better to use a Visa or Mastercard. Do not fall for the scam and get their high interest cards.

    I have been purchasing from Woman Within for a while now and usually love their items. This past time, however, I bought 2 pairs of capri pants, tried them on (they fit) and as usual put them in the laundry. (I always launder my clothes prior to wearing them.) When I went to wear them they were at least 2 sizes too small. It had only been one day between trying them on and washing them so I know it wasn't me that gained weight. When I tried to exchange them for a larger size I was told I could not because I had laundered them. I was apprehensive about purchasing more at one size up because they shrank so much in the wash. Sincerely disappointed.

    I ordered a nightgown for my mother in law two weeks before Mother’s Day, it came about a week before Mother’s Day; I ordered a 3X, the package said 3X but what they sent was a 5X!! You had ONE job!! So, I called and they apologized and asked if they could send me the right order and I said only if it will come by that Thursday because that’s when we would be heading home to see her. They promise me it would be there no problem I wouldn’t be charged but on my bank account they had charged me 19.99 for fast shipping!!

    Thursday comes and no package so I decided that we would leave Friday instead so that I could receive the package then. Friday comes and NO package.. I called and the customer service rep says that it never was sent and the sales department had no way to contact me but every time I’ve been on the phone with someone that have repeated my number back and my phone number is on my invoice!!! She transfers me to sales because she doesn’t know why they didn’t send it, all the while her customer service was AWFUL!! That line kept saying they were closed but it was well within two hours of them closing so I left a message for them to call me back and of course to this day I have never received a callback.. It’s been a little over a week and a half after I have returned the package and I still haven’t received a refund. This company absolutely disgust me and I’ll never in my life make a purchase from this company again!!!

    I received three tops from Woman Within. They were too large (their sizes run large) so, using the return form, I requested the same three items in a smaller size. After a long wait, I got an email from PayPal that I had received a refund. I called Woman Within's customer service. Apparently there are NO exchanges when PayPal (or Amazon) is used. They deducted for shipping so I didn't get back the full amount. Instead of just having this information on their website they should have a notice when you pay that you can't exchange, or put a note in with the shipment that exchanges are not possible with PayPal. The tops were thin, but what I paid for them I thought I could use them for a while even though I didn't think they would last long. I am canceling my account with them and will not use them in the future.

    I just got notice to expect twenty-five days before delivery of two pairs of pajamas, which are the same style in two different colors. Not a complex order. Fast to take your money, slow beyond slow to deliver. I won't order again. Not worth the wait. Terrible customer service.

    I ordered three items which totaled over $75 which according to the ad on my screen entitled me to free S&H and a free gift. Screen would not allow me to put in the code for the free gift (2 piece Trolley Tote set) because I had already used a code for free S&H. The ad leads you to believe that both were available. The only star I gave you is for the "Chat" person, Patricia, who was very cordial. I have in the past had this issue with your company. Please remove me from your list for further catalogs.     I have been purchasing through Woman Within for many years. Recently I have had issues with the wrong size and have to return items. I, too have had a return that ended up being credited for almost nothing. I was not aware of the time limit on returns and I also had to pay for the return shipping. I barely received any credit. I then tried to return some items in December. I sent 5 items from two different orders in one package. I received the credit for two of the items in a timely fashion. The other three items I had to call about. They requested the item number on the invoice.

    I provided that and then was told that was not a valid item number. I was told to provide the invoice number so they could look it up! I'm not well off but my time is valuable. I have decided, I will eat this current problem since I charged it and never will order from this company or any Full Beauty company again. They have all the information in the computer system. Why do I have to scramble to get the information for them. I'm done!!!

    Placed an order, AZ and when I received the order with extremely disappointed. I ordered sizes per guidelines on the website, and the clothes were 3 sizes too big! Then when I tried to process a return, was told that I have to pay for shipping back. My refund was short by about 7.00. This is a no care no help company... I found a better place to shop.

    I have had at least six items shrink so much after the first wash, that I had to donate them to charity. I never got to wear them. I usually follow the manufacturer's instructions as to care of the items, but despite washing the items by hand or in cold water, and drying on the delicate cycle or air drying, they shrink. I am also disappointed over the quality of the clothing over the years. The fabric is often thin and tears easily! The colors fade rapidly until the item no longer looks like the same one that I bought. I think I will find another plus size catalog to shop from.

    I ordered a pack of underwear. Well, they were much too big. Something personal came up and I was not able to return them in the 60 days. Rather than being understanding they returned the much too big underwear. Talk about petty. It's not like I wore them. Very horrible company and will never ever order from them. Maybe people need a little compassion and understanding. I will make sure no one buys from here. Simply ridiculous. Too bad I had to give a 1 star review.

    I recently was notified that I had been turned in to collections for $24.99 by Woman Within. My only notification was a phone call from the collections company. Even though I have proof of payment via my Discover card Woman Within refuses to drop the collections. I have spoken with Discover on 3 occasions. They assure me the bill was paid. I have in turn told them that they need to call their merchant service 800# for Discover with their merchant ID and sort it out. As the merchant I feel like they should have understood that process without me telling them to do it. Needless to say I have not and will not do business with them again.

    They used to have a good selection of clothing but not anymore. I could turn to a page and see a number of T-shirts of different colors or a number of slacks but now the selection is limited. I like to mix and match but the newer clothes don't allow that. I ordered a button down blouse and when I got it there were holes in the shoulders so I sent it back. It was not obvious there would be holes in the shoulders unless I looked closely. I shop Woman Within because I am a large woman but a lot of the styles are not flattering to someone my size.

    I placed an order for a sweater and on the day the sweater was supposed to be delivered my area had a blizzard. USPS returned the order rather than continue with the delivery. Starting 3/19/2019, I contacted Woman Within twice about the return advising them I did not return the item and I still wanted I had ordered. Woman Within processed the return but subtracted shipping for the return. I have been attempting to get the full refund since 3/26/2019. I don't understand what sort of business practice would charge a customer for attempting to buy a product. I have explained several times that the return was not initiated by me, that I actually still need a sweater and would have liked to have the product I purchased. I have purchased several sweaters of the years from Woman Within, but I will no longer be a customer of this business. Very poor customer service and overall disappointed with the response.

    I purchased a few items and the quality and sizing was awful so I returned the items. Today I received those items back with a note, "Return old/damaged merch to customer." WHAT??? They were in original packaging and one of them had not been opened. When I called them I was informed as per their new policy it had to be returned in 60 days. I asked how they notified their customers about new policy and was told, "It's on the website." I asked how people that don't own computers or have internet will see that. I live in a rural area with a post office with limited hours and do not make many trips to the post office.

    I am also sure that they received it under 60 days. I informed her I will be sending the items back and she told me I will not be getting credit for them. She also informed me they will send them back and I told her I will refuse them and take that amount off my bill. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. If they were as advertised there would not be any reason to return them. I think with everything I have ordered from them I have returned more items than I have kept because of the poor quality of their items.

    I ordered an e-gift card on 3/19/19 for my grandmother's birthday. I checked my email this afternoon (3/20/19), no e-gift card. Instead, I received a phone call from Woman Within customer service wanting to verify my purchase "for my protection." I waited a few hours thinking that I would receive the e-gift card since I had verified my purchase, but still no e-gift card.

    I finally called customer service and spoke to 2 people who told me that e-gift cards take 24-36 hours to process - for an EMAIL to process! I asked the second person I spoke to if I could speak to someone else who would be able to assure that I received the e-gift card in time for my grandmother's birthday. She said she would let me speak to a supervisor and then placed me on hold. When she came back, she said that no one else would speak to me and just said, again, that it would take 24-36 hours to process. This 24-36 hour processing time was not communicated to me during the checkout process. If it had been, I wouldn't have bothered fearing that I would be cutting it to close to my grandmother's birthday. I will never order anything from this company again!

    I am a good and long time customer of both Woman Within and Roamans, and last year even purchased a winter coat for my daughter from them. After this last experience, it's over. I get rewards certificates from them all the time, but their website will not apply them. I wanted to buy a nightgown that was on clearance and apply my $10 reward certificate. I decided to get on chat with a rep since I'd had a problem applying the certificates before. She walked me through, and once again it didn't take. I am through. On top of the fake "rewards" issue, when I get a catalog in the mail and try to order from it the same day, the item is out of stock. No more.

    Twice was charged bogus late fees. I ordered, they sent an email saying they did not have the items in stock. Months later they had the nerve to charge my card without telling me, the full price for an item I could no longer even use & then charged me late fees. Just to get rid of the charges I paid 40 dollars for a 7 dollar shirt & was assured that was it. Then 5 months later, I’m called & told I'm in collections for more late fees because the 40 payment didn’t cover a 6 dollar fee! What a total scam. I’m disgusted.

    I’ve been a longtime customer but no more. As others have stated, customer service people are rude and robotic. They also are gleeful as a supervisor mocked me when I pointed out the website allowed me to process the return. I was told that the site was in “error” and I should have known to follow the changed return policy. Absolutely ridiculous. No one should shop with them unless they like to lose money and be made fun of.

    Purchased three pairs of boots around Thanksgiving. Wanted them for my Thanksgiving vacation plans and they arrived a few days later than scheduled so I didn’t even get to bring them. Strike 1. When I arrived home, I tried the boots on and apparently their sizing has changed in the last year and they were too small. Strike 2. I decided I would gift them to my sister for Christmas as she likes the company and has slightly smaller feet than I do. I brought them home for Christmas and they did not fit her either.

    Called the company because I was concerned about the 60-day return policy and I was still visiting my family (whose home burned down in the Santa Rosa fires but their customer service team didn’t seem to care about that either). Their customer service rep said they would process my order exchange for a larger size and would return when I got home. No issues were raised about the return policy on their end.

    Ended up returning and even called to follow up and was told my account would be credited. Got a surprise on my doorstep today and it’s my return which was not accepted as “late”. As everyone else has stated, customer service is abhorrent and rude. I called corporate and will follow-up with legal. At this point, it’s not even about the $250 I basically lit on fire and threw in the trash. This company takes advantage of their valuable customers. Based on these other reviews, I wonder if we have a basis for a class action lawsuit?

    Updated on 03/21/2019: I wrote a review of Woman Within's poor customer service regarding the Comfort Choice bra on Feb. 10, 2019. Consumer Affairs posted this comment and I received a response from a Woman Within rep on Feb. 11. Since then, I have gotten nothing but a run-around on this issue. I did discover that the bra in question IS made by Woman Within. Given that fact, I don't understand why it is so difficult to find out if the bra is still being made and will still be available. It is also really beyond belief that Woman Within is continuing to advertise this bra on pop-up ads and their ordering site.

    When the customer clicks on the bra, the message that appears states it is 'Out of stock.' This has been going on for months and I still have no definitive answer from the company about availability or even if the Comfort Choice Microfiber Leisure Bra is being made or will be made. It has been 3 weeks since my last contact with the Woman Within rep and I consider that an answer in itself. This company is NOT customer friendly nor is it responsive in any way.

    Original Review: I have ordered from Woman Within for several years and found the quality to be VERY uneven, but the bras were usually good quality and condition. The returns are very slow and I do resent being charged so much for that but chalked it up to business expense. I finally found a make that fit, (Comfort Choice) found my size and stuck to that so my returns are much fewer now. It was changed a couple years ago and now has three fasteners in back instead of four and the material is much flimsier. However, Comfort Choice came out with a new type of bra called Cooling Microfiber Leisure bra that is VERY well made and fits me perfectly. The one drawback to this new bra was the very narrow choice of colors it came in, a problem which all the reviews I read on the WW site agreed with.

    Now, this bra has been offered on sale for the past several weeks, but ONLY in one color (blue print) and one size (40). The note on their sale page yesterday (2-7-19) stated that there was only one left in stock. I have attempted for weeks to get an answer from both customer service and an email complaint department concerning future availability of this product with no results. All I get are stock answers such as "We will forward your complaint/inquiry to our Marketing Dept." Why would a company that sends me catalogs EVERY week and email nearly every day have such poor customer service? If your company had a product that was popular with your customers, wouldn't you want to provide it? I am hoping that someone from this company reads this page and does something about this problem.

    Well first of all I am outraged at how customer service is so horrible and how they treat their customers. I have ordered a dark sapphire women's shirt and it had fade marks all over the shirt after washing it for the first time so I called customer service and they said since it was past the 60 days I couldn't return it. Well I sent it back anyway and I just received it back in the mail today. How rude. I ordered this shirt as a Christmas present. I think they shouldn't have a 60 day policy when you order a couple months early for Christmas and then they will not take or exchange your order.

    I have been a customer with them for many years but once I pay them off I will shop somewhere else because they are not worth my time or patience. I would advise all of their customers not to order from them. This company has really went downhill and you need to get rid of the non-English speaking workers that we cannot understand. I will report your company to the Better Business Bureau because your customer service sucks. Well a couple of years ago I could exchange stuff but now I can't. That won't go too well with me. Very disappointed in Missouri.

    I have purchased MANY sets (over 10; with 2-3 pair in each set) of ComfortChoice Boyshort Panties from WW. I like them because they actually stay below the cheek, instead of being 'cheeky.' I have learned to wash them in a delicates bag on delicate, and unfortunately they fall apart! They fray, unravel; the threads are loose. Customer Service said I could return them within the sixty days... However, I do not receive them in a timely manner, so my sixty days are pretty much extinct by the time I have washed and worn. Very frustrating to find something you actually like... yet it is useless after the second wash. Plus you pay for your return. Why should I pay for something that was not made to standards.

    I returned several items to this company because they were much too large. I opened this package well after it arrived because I had been out of town due to a family illness. When I discovered that the items needed to be returned, I checked their website for return info. It indicated that the package had shipped on 12/26/18. I mailed the return package to them on 1/19/19. I called to follow-up on the return on 1/31/19, since I had not received a credit for the returns.

    Before calling I, again, pulled up the order on their website and it indicated that the items were still eligible to be returned and showed a shipping date of 12/26/18. The customer service rep. said that their system showed a shipping date in November. She indicated that the items had not yet been received at the warehouse and they would be returned to me because they were past the 60 day return period. I told her that I was looking at her website and it indicated a later shipping date and that the items were still eligible to be returned. Neither she nor her supervisor would let me send a screenshot showing the information that I was seeing and that I had used to determine my return window.

    After the call, I opened their website again, in a new window, and saw that the information was now updated to match the info that the customer rep had given me. I still had the original page up and I could see that the information had been changed during our phone call. It is unacceptable to me that a company does not take responsibility for inaccurate order information posted on their website. At the very least this was poor business practices and poor customer service... But it may indicate something far worse. This is a bad company. Their sizing is extremely inaccurate, their systems appear to be faulty, their return policy (at Christmas time) is extremely restrictive and their customer service is horrible. I will not be ordering from this company again and would advise others to avoid doing business with this company.

    My 81 year old mother bought me a winter coat for Christmas. She received it on October 23 because she wanted to be sure not to wait so long that it would be out of stock. Gifted on December 26. Too small. Returned for exchange immediately. Same coat returned to her with note that it would not be exchanged, credited or refunded because it was old, worn or damaged. It was in Perfect condition and had only been tried on once. Call placed to customer service. Told that their return policy is 60 days. No exceptions, no case-by-case basis. So it's a great scam at Christmas time - people order early to be sure they have what they want and they can never return or exchange the item. Totally disgusted and will never buy from them or any of their affiliated companies again.

    I am furious. Received my return back marked old or defective because they returned item 10 days beyond the 60 days from ORDER DATE return policy... AT CHRISTMAS... REALLY!!! Tried to get customer service to do something, but they were so rude and uncaring, kept repeating the same thing over and over again, like a robot not a real person. I have been a GOOD customer for years, but not anymore. BUYER BEWARE!!!

    First of all, NEVER pay full price because everything is always on sale 40% off or more. The games you have to play. I have received some items that were a decent quality for the price but like others have had problems with delayed orders (summer clothes ordered in spring that arrive in August) and problems with return credits. What got my goat today was an order of 2 pairs of shoes and a fleece top that arrived in a plastic bag-but not sealed to the elements. It's raining. Inside the bag was 2 cups of water (I measured I was so mad), 2 cardboard boxes with puddles inside so wet shoes, and a shirt that has to dry before I can try it on.     Order shipped 10/30/2018. Return dropped off at Post Office on 12/9/2018 (proven by tracking number). Return arrived at returns center 12/27/2018 (WTH USPS, 18 days to ship??). Return processed in processing center 1/9/2019 (Not sure why it took 13 days to get to someone's desk). Return rejected since it was more than 60 days from ship date.

    Called and customer service person was...very rude. It was like they didn't care or didn't understand the situation. Just making it sound like I held on to the item until 59 days and then mailed it and was mad. Even if they didn't return my money, I would have still appreciated a human response...A..."I'm sorry, yes we should warn people that shipping at the holidays is very slow...unfortunately, it took so long to get to someone for processing it was too late and there is no flexibility in the 60 day policy". Even that response would have been better than the response I received. Which was rude on the phone and seemed like a canned response every time I emailed. It's not even that much money...I'm just so...hurt...by not having felt heard. Very rude, very inhuman. Never, ever, return something here. If you're ordering, make sure it's gonna work out.

    I ordered (1) jacket in the fall and paid for the jacket once received. I was not aware of a duplicate charge for the same jacket, nor did I receive a second jacket. Once this was brought to my attention several months later I disputed the transaction. I spoke with the most unpleasant customer service rep that said since it’s more than 60 days it’s not the company's problem. This appears to be a shady business with charging double, no real notification and refusing to investigate further. Now my credit is affected and fees charged. I will be officially closing my account and no longer doing business. I will make sure this experience is brought to the Better Business Bureau. As far as rating goes there are no stars. I have better customer service with Kohl’s and will continue to do business with Kohl’s.

    I purchased 2 shirts for a Christmas gift at the end of October. When the gift was opened, it was way too large. She only opened one to try on. I knew it was past the 60 day return policy so I was only going to exchange one shirt, the unopened one. So I called and the girl told me it was ok as long as I do an exchange. I sent the package back in its original packaging with their return label. I got no acknowledgment they received my return but the tracking showed it delivered. 2 weeks later I called to see where my exchange was. They told me very rudely this was being sent back to me since it was past 60 days...no exception. I even spoke to the rude supervisor and got the same repeating message that it was past 60 days. Very frustrating since it was just a simple exchange. I will never order from Woman Within again, and I encourage everyone to not order from them either. They are so rude!

    Some time ago I ordered 5 pairs of leather shoes from WW. I checked the size charts for every single pair of shoes I ordered, PRIOR to ordering them. I have a wide foot that is exactly 4" wide. Their "wide size" shoe charts all said that the wide sizing is approximately 4.5 inches wide, more than enough for me to feel comfortable. I received the shoes only to find upon trying them on that they were VERY narrow. So, just for the sake of being thorough, I measured the width of the shoes myself and they were only 3.75 inches wide! The label inside the shoes was correct: it read 9W, which is what I ordered; but the actual measurement of the shoes was completely different from what they advertised on their website because they have no quality control.

    I reported this to Customer Service and left reviews on the WW website for all the shoes I ordered, and what do you know? NONE of my reviews for the shoes I ordered got approved (and I am an Apostolic Christian, so NONE of my reviews were the least bit malicious nor contained a single tittle of profanity). My reviews simply included the size chart measurements vs. the actual measurements, and I made a remark about them having poor quality control, and they were not approved/erased from all existence.

    To add insult to injury, they completely removed the portion of their size charts that gives the measurements of the width of the shoes. Now their shoe sizing charts list the LENGTH of the shoes and has it labeled as the width. If you go to their website right now and look up their shoe sizing chart, it will say for a size 9W shoe that the width is 9.77 inches--this is obviously NOT the width, but the LENGTH, but they have it labeled this way purposely so that they can avoid being accused of not having the width listed. I never even returned the poorly-fitted shoes I had received, but now seeing how dishonest they are as a company, I wish I had, because no matter how much I wear these shoes, they don't get any wider! Buyer beware!

    If you order more than 60 days before Christmas... or any other gifting occasion... don’t expect to be able to return or exchange your item(s)! We purchased Christmas items that were much to large (oversized in fact) on 10/22 and because we returned them for exchange on 1/5/19 they just sent them back. The company had the shirts right there but would NOT be considerate enough to grant a simple exchange. I called them and spoke with two customer reps and let me tell you, they are NOT interested in being polite or even understanding. They simply state if you want to exchange or refund an item you have 60 days... not 74 or even 61... 60, PERIOD!

    I purchased a pair of pants and was issued a Woman Within card that they would be charged on. As soon as the card came I activated it and went to my account to pay it in full which amounted to $31.98. It stated that a checking account must be used and they did not accept debit or credit. I enter my checking info and even received an email receipt for my payment. I quit opening their emails because they send ads to me at least once a day. I get a phone call 3 months later telling me something happened to my payment and the account info I entered wasn't recognized. My bill is now over $90. I made a payment with the Male who calls and ironically he took my debit card as payment. After I logged into my account and it shows that the first payment I made and does not say it didn't go through. Definitely not a credible place and the pants I purchased stretch out so much that they start falling down an hour after putting them on.

    I ordered a jacket that was normally $249 that was on sale for $99 and used a 40% off coupon so my price was around $60. They confirmed order and then said they had made a mistake and that color and size were out of stock in an email 3 days later. I called customer service and asked if I could select another color which their website showed was in stock, however they would not honor the original price or discount coupon. And now I have to wait 7 to 10 days for the charge to be refunded on my credit card.

    Far more trouble than it's worth. Exchanges take over a month because of the slowest ground shipping imaginable - return shipping in my experience takes 3 weeks. When they ship anything to you, it takes 2 weeks. If they have something on backorder that you are trying to exchange, forget about it. You will have forgotten you even ordered the item by the time it gets to you. (It could take two months and might even be out of fashion...) I don't understand why a company would operate this way, other than they couldn't care less about customers. A simple return or exchange should NOT take a month and a half, for Christ's sake. Ordered once, never again.

    This company has, by far, the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I purchased a winter jacket the beginning of November and it ended up being way too big. I’ve been trying for over a month to exchange for a smaller size or refund it, if they couldn’t return. I purchased through Amazon. After countless phone calls, chats and emails, I was told that Woman Within would be sending me the return label and they agreed to take it back... I have it in writing and everything! Not even five minutes after I was sent that info, I was sent another email saying it couldn’t be returned and they were closing my request. No explanation, no discussion, nothing. They told Amazon they would return and then sent me a separate email and refused. They are horrible!! It was an expensive jacket and all I needed was a smaller size. Please, please, please do not buy from this company. They don’t deserve your business or your money.

    My mother ordered stuff at the end of September. Didn't fit. Was going to return. My mother ended up having emergency surgery and we return them late so they wouldn't take it. I called and spoke to someone who was extremely rude (actually anyone you speak to is rude and don't care) who wouldn't help and just kept repeating the same thing and I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor was allowing me to return the clothes and gave me a total that would be refunded and said it wasn't the complete amount which I was just happy to be getting something back.

    I went to return them and there was no return labels so I called spoke to yet another rude person and was told there was no noted on this account for that return and even if there was they would not allow me to return it even though I spoke to someone who said they would. They said they can't honor mistaken information given from their associates. It's in the return policy. So now my mother is stuck with items that don't fit. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They don't give a crap and obviously let you know with how they speak to you!! Don't shop here!!! I wish I could give them no stars.

    I have been a longtime customer of Women Within. I had returned a couple items that were poor quality and they were returned back to me. I called customer service and after being on hold for 20 minutes I was told that the return policy changed and there was nothing that could be done. Not satisfied with that. I told them I have spent a lot of money with them and I will never buy anything again, that they just lost a customer. The person I spoke to didn’t even care.     On December 1st I placed an online order for a gift card for my mother as a gift. After 20 days she had not received it and when I called customer service they told me that they could not track it as it was shipped regular mail. It also took 3 days for them to process and ship the card! I told them that the holiday was long over and that this is a disgrace! Customer service offered to cancel my order and refund the amount to my credit card I used. Think twice before buying a gift card from this company! Horrible horrible service!!!

    I ordered a tank top in the same size I wear from several other sites. What came was so large I could have pitched it like a tent. Normally I just throw clothes away, but I'm trying to be better and so I sent it back. I was aware there was a ridiculous $7 50 restocking fee. I realized I would likely get almost no money back. Nonetheless I sent it off and didn't think about it again. Until I started getting letters demanding $0.31. I was completely confused. Until I realized that between ordering and sending in my return my debit card had expired and therefore my number has changed.

    They had already taken me for $14 and shipping. They are telling me that my return does not equal the original order and they want their $0.31. They would have just gone in and taken the $0.31 but they could no longer access my account. I contacted customer service because surely no business is this petty. Boy was I wrong. They were complete nightmares. I told him they would get their $0.31 over my dead body. I'm also thinking of sending them one penny a month. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life.

    I always check that products are in stock. About two weeks go by after Cyber Monday order without a package. I have received packages at this address before from this company and Roaman's without incident. It took me two emails and two live people, but still lots of wasted time. The first email revealed part of the order was back ordered but partial order had been sent about 3-4 days after placing the order. The second order revealed that the package had been sent back, supposedly insufficient address. One lady on the telephone said it might have been damaged. My leasing office is opened 7 days a week. Post Office usually puts notices in my mailbox that I either that I must go to the leasing office or main office.

    Obviously, it was labeled wrong or sent to an old address, but the second lady on the phone took no responsibility whatsoever. She was very uncaring and condescending. I had already verified the address. She said I would have to contact the Post Office. I told her I had not been provided with a tracking number as most companies do nowadays. How is the post office going to know anything? She started talking over me. I told her I just would not order from them again. These people do not care about their customers. I reached out to them 3 times and they did basically nothing. A couple of them apologized for the inconvenience but if the whole point of an efficient online company is that the packages get to where they are supposed to go.

    On Cyber Monday I placed an order with this company. First time buyer. Was told would delivery date of 5 to 7 days. It took 14 days on most items as they are delivered few at time. I was waiting on one item. I called, was told the item would not ship until 21 of December. Was told I would not receive item till after Christmas. I cancelled item. If you don't have the items to send then don't sell. I will not place an order again. Should have read reviews.

    I placed an order online and the following day they announced a 50% off sale. I immediately contacted them for an adjustment. They told me the order was already "processed" whatever that means, because it had not been sent yet. They would not give me an adjustment which was $31 and they would not cancel my order. I've never dealt with a company that could truly care less about offering solutions to a customer complaint. There is plenty of competition out there so my suggestion would be to try them.

This is not a customer service type company. They lack professional courtesy and integrity. I recommend going directly to their suppliers that they market for which are shown below.     The parka was way too big, and had to be returned. Charges for shipping and handling are excessive ($11.99 to send to me and $7.50 to use their return label). They may give deep discounts but recover costs in other ways. I will never do business with this company again. If I could rate it with zero stars I would do so.

    So mad that until this year I never had problem. This year it is a sure thing your item/items will be backordered. ESP pants. Or you will be told if you order the black you can get them. Wrong! BACKORDERED! I want my pants. Get more people to make the dang pants. When you need something and can never get it they are saying as I type more details is better. What?     I just left a review on Roaman's site and I shall repeat it here. I returned some pants and they were returned to me. Upon asking the person on the phone why, she said their policy had changed from 90 days to 60 days. It would have been nice to have this pointed out in some way. I think they should make an allowance on a one time basis and/or change it back to 90. Will never order from them again. They are sneaky on pricing too. They will have a sale and they raise the price A LOT and then say it is on sale.

    I have ordered quite a few items from Woman Within over the last few months and was mostly pleased with the fit and quality, but there were items that didn't fit or just didn't suit me so I returned them. Imagine my surprise when I came home today and all the clothes I had returned had been sent back to me because I guess I had been late in returning them. I didn't realize that Woman Within had a 60 day return policy that was so unforgiving. Most companies give 90 days and will give a store credit or charge a re-stocking fee if you go over.

    They want you to continue buying from them. Now I have probably a few hundred dollars in clothes that I don't want so I won't be ordering from Woman Within ever again. This is not a good way to treat your customers and while you may have gotten a few hundred dollars for nothing from me, you will miss out on the hundreds I would have spent in the future as I was planning to make another order soon. I'm sure you had what seemed like a good reason at the time for putting such a policy in place but you may want to rethink this decision.

    A catalog was sent by mail and I decided to give it a try. I ordered some cute briefs and when I received them they were way too big. So I attempted to make an exchange. This company has some funky rules when it comes to making exchanges. First of all, you have to fill out an exchange form and mail everything back to the company. Once they receive the return, they will refund the money spent and then charge you again for the replacement.

    Their funky rules did not mention anything about if you paid with a credit card or not. So because I paid with PayPal, the requested exchange was denied. I was told that I needed to wait for the refund and then order the briefs again. The items I purchased were on sale at the time. So that meant that not only was my exchange denied, I was also expected to pay more for the same items. I honestly have never experienced this kind of confusion when it comes to making an exchange. As I mentioned before, I gave Woman Within a try because I received a catalog in the mail. I will never do business with this company ever again.

    Customer service very rude and not at all helpful. No appreciation for a customer that spent enormous amounts from many of their brands. No customer loyalty at all. When contacted in writing received insulting tacky responses with absolutely no attempt to reconcile the situation.     Friday I order 3 shirts. They charged me three times. They insisted by phone extra charges would "drop off". This morning a 4th charge because they finally shipped the items. $200.00 charged for a 50.00 order. I will be back if this rectified itself. My bank is watching. I got two red warning notices that they couldn't process my order. I called and placed it. I have been sort of satisfied with this company until now but this is outrageous. Are they liars or thieves?

    Jeans I ordered were WAY too big in all areas. Returned them expecting a refund except for return shipping. Much to my surprise they WILL NOT refund sales tax per their customer service. I have never heard of this before and will lodge a complaint with management. I have requested they take me off their mailing lists. I will not buy from them again; I will stick with Blair.com.

    Ordered 3 items online. Came on 3 different days. One was so poorly made I sent it back. Then a week later I received another item and the seam of the packaging was totally open and no catalogs. Apparently they fell out. So I knew that is how it was sent out. Received the last item 2 days ago... same thing with the packaging. Why am I paying for handling when they don’t even secure it.     The sizes are all over the map, I mean ALL OVER THE MAP. I ordered 6 shirts in the same size and only two fit. Three were waaaay too small and one was ridiculously big. Forget exchanging, not only is it impossibly slow but you have to pay for it. They have no standards for sizing yet make you pay to return. If that isn't bad enough it can take up to a month to deliver to you, without anything being on back order. That is their regular delivery. This place is a joke and a rip off.

    I have purchased there for many years because they give you the lengths of the items, they come in many colors and unfortunately there are not a lot of good places to shop when you're overweight. However I have never received good service from them. They charge you to send the items back even if it's their fault that you are returning it. i.e. wrong color, etc. I returned an item and it took them over a month to receive it back and in the interim I had to make a payment. Even after it was confirmed that they received my item they had not processed the return yet and I had to make an additional payment.

    Their shipping fees and delivery times are ridiculous. Particularly considering Walmart and Amazon doing 2-day delivery with great and easy return policies. I decided to close my account after my last experience where they confirmed they had my merchandise but they made me make a payment and then charge me a late fee when I refused to make that payment. They are also extremely pushy with their marketing. I've tried to unsubscribe their emails a half-dozen times and nothing has seemed to work. We're not talking one or two emails we're talking a lot of emails. Awful company. I deserve better than that.

    My husband gave me money to order a few items for my birthday in July and once they came in the mail, he'd give them to me in October. Well, when I went to try the shirts on a few days ago, they were too big (I needed a smaller size) so I went to chat w/ WW's customer service rep. I was told that it's past their 60 day return/exchange policy and she couldn't do anything. Again, I stated it was bought in July for an Oct. bday. No go. So I told her that Walmart has a better return/exchange policy than WW. At least you can buy clothes a few months before and not be penalized.

    With Woman Within, you can NOT buy clothes in advance for holidays or special occasions because you will NOT be refunded after 60 days. I reported them to PayPal and am hoping that I can get my money back. This is not a good practice. Whatever happen to the customer is always right? I mean, it was a gift and the company refused to even exchange for a smaller size. I'm through with them.

    I ordered a coat online (my first purchase from Woman Within). It arrived and was exceptionally well made. However, it was cut very small. All instruction said to start the exchange online so I logged into my account and there was no order history. I began a live chat and found out I would have to order a new jacket online, pay again, and then wait for the refund to process with the "exchange". That's not an exchange, that's paying for two coats and then waiting for a refund on one!

    I can't afford that, sorry. I asked if I could fill in the exchange portion of the form that came with the jacket and have the shipping paid my credit card and the agent ended the chat without answering. I was absolutely shocked at the lack of customer service. I did like the coat and wanted a different size. Instead I now have to pay shipping to have the small one returned and wait for a refund. I should have found THIS site first instead of ordering from them. I am beyond ticked off!

    I have ordered many things over the past year from this company. Nearly every item has been either big or too small regardless of measurements. I have attempted to return several items and they have been sent back to me because of the 60-day window or they were "apparently worn". None of the items were worn (other than trying them on) and they were returned within that window. Customer service was no help. There goes another $100 into the goodwill bin.

    I ordered 12 different polo shirts from Woman Within for work. When they came in the shirts were suppose to be a large but I received 18-20 size. When that size became a large and not a plus is beyond me. The total was 89 and change with 4 of these shirts on backorder. Well I returned all that I had received in the mail already in one package. Then when the back orders came finally came in I sent those back as well. So with the two packages returned that should of been 15.00 in charges. Instead I get a bill for 84 dollars which includes a late fee for a bill in September that I never received since I had only placed the order in September.

    I called and spoke to Joel who basically told me that between all the shipping charges and now the late fee that bill stands. I told him to close my account. When I said that only then did he offer to take off the late fees if I kept my account open. Which I refused to do so he did not remove the fees. So my fees are almost as much as my order and I have nothing to show for it. Never again and I will be canceling all my cards with the sister company. Was my first and last with this company. Very disappointed in an American based company.

    I ordered a winter parka today on their website. When I clicked "place order" I got an error message that read "There was a problem processing your order. Please take a moment to verify your payment information and billing address." So I go back and check my info and it's all correct. Then I think to check my bank account and I see they already took the $135.98 but the order didn't go through and I didn't have a confirmation number. So I re-enter my info and click "place order" again, and again I get the same message. I look at my bank account again and they have taken another $135.98.

    So now I'm down $271.96 and neither order went through and no confirmation number. Their customer service was no help. They couldn't look anything up because there was no confirmation number. I'm disputing this with my bank now. This is ridiculous how their system can debit your account when orders don't even go through. I will never shop at Woman Within again.

    These jerks snuck in a 60-day return limit and will NOT make any exceptions. Ordered shoes. They were too big. Called within the 60-day limit and they wanted me to purchase another pair in a smaller size and return the others since I didn't have an invoice. Found invoice - called today and because the 60 days is up they will not take the return. Their rep Aaron told me if I sent them back they would just send them back again. If I abused return policies I could understand it but I rarely have returned anything. It's just not my habit. I have purchased a lot of stuff from them. They have now gone from a very good company to a zero. Another greed-based corporation.

    I placed an order and they charged my credit card - I waited about 2 weeks and no email or package arrived - I never received the merchandise. I went to the website under my account and saw there was no record of the purchase. I tried calling but could not get through so I sent them an email and they have not yet responded. In addition, I noticed they never applied the promo code and charged me double for the order... I contacted my bank to cancel/retrieve payment and I still have not heard anything back from this company.

    I loved ordering from this company until I tried to do my first exchange. I made a mistake and missed that you can't exchange with PayPal. I was using the chat function to talk with an operator and he sent the return policy. It was solid black and unable to be read. Then he sent a link. While I was reading it (Less than three min) he disconnected me. I started a new chat. The guy said there was nothing he could do. Then, when I said I wouldn't order from them again because most companies work with someone on their first mistake, he said they could do the exchange if I called in. So, I called in. The guy who answered said he could help. However, I had to tell him the order number of everything I was going to purchase and the coupon code FROM MEMORY on the paperwork I had sent in two weeks ago. If I couldn't remember that, he couldn't help me. What a waste of my time! Terrible customer service.

    I ordered from Woman Within and was charged twice for both my order and the shipping charges. When I spoke to a representative I was told that it is their policy to charge twice but I should have my money back in 72 hrs. Now here it is 72 hrs later and another rep is telling me it will be another 3 or so days before I see a dime put back in my account. And They aren't even going to refund the entire amount they took out to begin with. I caution anyone thinking of ordering to find somewhere else to spend your money.

    I ordered through Amazon, which linked to Woman Within. Placed an order for two plus size night gowns. They reached out and told me that my card wouldn't authorize. Bullcrap. I checked my cards and settings and it did authorize. Left it alone. Next morning, I see TWO CHARGES AND TWO SHIPMENT DATES. I reached out to Woman Within and Amazon and neither would help me. Said I had to wait until the second unwanted product came and send back. Why should I? For a fraud stunt you tried to pull? I have over $1,000 on that card and been an Amazon member for 11 years. Never been contacted before about a declined payment. I will never use Woman Within again. Idiots. Never authorized you to charge me twice.

    This year I purchased several summer clothing items from Woman Within and the other Fullbeauty brands (Jessica London, Roamans, Ellos, etc.) and every single one, despite being listed as in stock online, went into backorder status. It took anywhere from two to eleven weeks for the items to arrive, and when they did, most were of poor quality. Of the shirts I kept, two basically fell apart in the wash, even though they were hand washed in cold with gentle detergent and kept out of the dryer. You can't get refunds for those clothes once you've washed them. Of the several items I sent back, Woman Within on multiple occasions charged $7.50 for the return postage even when I used the "free return" label supplied by them. They also have charged $7.50 per item if you include multiple returns in one package.

    I did a quick accounting and discovered that, despite free shipping offers and coupons, I've paid $480 since January 2018 but only received $220 worth of products. Add in the $125 interest on their store card since January and the cost is outrageous. I really should have taken a closer look sooner (I've only had the card for one year) but at least I found out now, and have already sent full payment to the card and canceled all my Woman Within/Fullbeauty store memberships.

    Our last payment was 1 day late, we mailed it on time but it did not reach Woman Within in time. They charged a late fee that was the same as the amount we owed plus an interest payment. We owed $16.99 and ended up paying another $18.99 on top of that. I called to see if this could be credited back and of course it wasn't. I have been a customer for many years and never once been late. I can not tell you the amount of times I have overpaid due to them not having the correct amount on my statement and have never been offered a refund or interest payment on that money. I have been expected to use it as a credit instead of getting my money back. Nice little racket if you ask me. I will never Shop at Woman Within again or any of its other branches including: Roman's, Brylane Home, or Full Beauty.

    I ordered about 5 pieces of clothing in May, 2018. They shipped 2 pieces of them right away. I didn't realize until now when I'm having problems with them that they said they shipped a third item at the same time but it wasn't in the order when I received it. The other 2 items were back-ordered. One of the items, a shirt, was supposedly shipped on 6/27/18. By 7/12/18 I still didn't receive the item. The FedEx Tracking showed it had been sent out but it was "In Transit'. Status "Pending". I sent Customer Service an email through their website with this information. They told me I had to wait 20 days from the date that is was mailed to ask them to look into it. I was told to send another message on 7/24/18 if I did not receive it.

    I just sent another message today, 7/25/18. I got a response to ask my family members or to look around bushes in front of my house to see if it was somewhere at my house. Also, the 5th item, another shirt, is still on back-order and I haven't heard a thing about that item. I've sent them another message telling them to cancel both shirt orders. I'm never shopping with them again. Terrible customer service.

    This company has the worst service I have encountered in years. I ordered capris in June. after I submitted my order, I got confirmation that stated the items were on back order. I specifically looked at my size and looked for colors not indicating that they were unavailable or out of stock. Why would you do this to people? I got notice they would be sent 7/22, then 8/8, and now 8/19. My trip starts this weekend I figured a month in advance should be enough. They offered 10% discount if I want to keep waiting, and said they are sorry, but I ordered a popular item. I get popular, but again, I looked for my size and color availability. But no one can explain WHY.

    Why can they not figure out when something is out of stock and not have people ordering it in good faith and expecting to receive it in a timely manner? This is not how you keep a company going. Ridiculous. I feel trapped because the jeans and capris have fit me the best that I have encountered so far, but it's not worth it. I'll find another brand that will be close enough to a good fit that can manage their inventory properly.

    I've been a customer of Woman Within for many years. In the past, I have been grateful that they offer longer length dresses, as well as items that are 100% cotton, which are increasingly hard to find. I recently returned two summer dresses I'd ordered in May 2018, but which didn't fit right, and despite being sleeveless, were constructed of heavy cotton knit -- much too heavy for hot summer weather. Never worn, they were dutifully returned to Woman Within in early July. Imagine my shock when Woman Within sent my Return BACK TO ME, which I received July 20th. An explanatory note regarding 'the return of the Return read: "There is no merchandise credit or refund, because items were old, worn or damaged. Thank you for your understanding."

    Having been ordered and sent to me less than two months prior, the items I returned were hardly "old." And since neither dress fit well or was appropriate for hot summer weather, there, further, was no way they could have been "worn" or "damaged." A call to Woman Within "Customer Service" turned out to be cold, unapologetic, and utterly lacking in "understanding," even though the company, in its harsh "Return to Customer " note, begged me, as a customer, to be "understanding" towards them.

    My conclusion from all this? When a paying, longtime customer is being asked to be "understanding" towards a company that, despite having greatly benefitted from our business over the years, coldly and unremittingly, refuses to have the slightest "understanding" towards *US,* makes me think this Company either has incompetent leadership, or is in so much danger of going out of business that they can no longer afford to take decent care of their customers -- longtime or otherwise. Over the years, I have recommended Woman Within to countless potential customers -- even perfect strangers -- who have admired my WW dresses. Yet, given what this Company has recently become, I would be embarrassed to recommend it to anyone.

    I did a return of an item I didn't want and I called to make sure it got there in time and I was told yes it was there, and now I have received it back in the mail so I called them and they tell me because it got processed after the allowed return time they marked it as a final sale and not returnable, I also spoke with a supervisor who was just as obnoxious. NO EXCEPTIONS. It didn't matter that it was received in time or not. This is not a reputable company what so ever, don't trust them. The top that I sent back was garbage and overpriced hence the reason for the return. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER AGAIN OR ANY OTHER COMPANY THEY ARE AFFILIATED WITH.

    I realize that there may not be enough reviews that matter. It takes time to write a review and you have to create yet another freaking account. But the 1 star reviews listed here are correct. I placed an order. 72 hours later I called asking when my order will ship. I was told by an unprofessional "customer service" rep that my order, my entire order has shipped. I asked for the tracking number. She didn't have that information but would in 24 hours.

    Moving forward... 24 hours later I call and ask for the tracking number. My order has shipped yet I was told. I then requested that my order be canceled. I was informed that the order was in process and couldn't be canceled. If it hasn't shipped I should be able to cancel. I have been lied to and misdirected from this company. I also know that even when I return the entire order (unopened) this company will not refund my full purchase price.

    This company Woman Within have some of the worst business ethics and practices that I have encountered. I have ordered from this company before. If it's a simple t-shirt, simple gown or simple run to the market pants I wouldn't purchase anything. The quality of anything else is awful to say the least. The sizes are worse than inconsistent. Same item, same size but a different color I've always gotten different fittings. But like I said their simple t-shirts. I will not be ordering from this company again. Horrible product quality. Horrible customer service. Horrendous business practices.

    I will longer be a customer, the quality of clothing has really gone downhill. Pants material so thin they were see thru when wearing, if I wanted people to see the color of my underwear I wouldn’t bother to wear pants. This was a black pair yet, can’t imagine what light colors would reveal. Bought some underwear, tried on a pair over a pair of undies to see if fit, they did. After washing the same pair they had shrunk so much I could not even pull them up. The last straw, I closed my account, received a letter saying it was closed, zero balance.

    A few days later they billed me $2.00 minimum interest and then turned around and charged me $19.99 late fee, plus another $2.00 minimum interest fee, all this on an account closed with a zero balance. I paid the $41.98 that I actually did not owe so they would not hurt my credit. But they did anyhow. I’m now in process of sending a complaint to all three credit unions, CEO of company. Do NOT DO business with this company.

    I recently purchased three items from the website. One was a two piece bathing suit, and the other two were two bathing suit separate pieces. Despite the website stating the items were available, after I made the purchase, I got an email stating two of the items were back ordered. One of them is back ordered until September. The last item I purchased from the website, a bra, ended up being back ordered for months. The date kept getting extended until it was eventually cancelled. There are also items often listed on the website, and then when you start putting in sizes, you realize that it is not available in ANY sizes. This time you cost me having an extra bathing suit for vacation as I don't have time to order another one before my trip. You lost the sale... and my future business.

    I can't place an order and after reading the reviews I guess I'm lucky. I had several items in my basket totaling $117.58 with shipping $15.99. The total keeps showing $177.77! I emailed customer service and was told to clean my cookies, etc and reboot. Did all that & the total still shows $177.77. Apparently this is a total sham of a company and they're hoping shoppers may not notice the huge error in math. Will never shop with them.

    Woman Within offers through their catalog clothing that is higher priced than what is on their website because allegedly one rep told me over the phone the catalog is geared to "older women" that do not know how to use the internet. Mind you it's the SAME merchandise! Isn't that illegal? I have items in my card, went to pay with THEIR credit card and was told there are problems with the website. The young woman took my order over the phone, and since then I have received no confirmation of the order nor a tracking number. This site is a scam!     I tried to place numerous orders to redeem my coupon for 50.00 off 100.00. Every time I would add items to my cart I would try to check out and I would receive an error message.     Went to place an order online today and received a discount for using my WW Platinum CC and free shipping. When I applied Promo Code WW738344 it would not apply. A CHAT rep told me in order to get Promo I needed to call in the order. I called in the order and the price was much higher than the website total. The phone rep told me that I could either place the order at the higher price and use the Promo Code OR do it online, get the lower price and NOT get the Promo item!! What kind of scam is this?     If I could I would give them no stars! I have been shopping with them for several years because I require large clothing. Their sizes are not consistent so I’ve had to do a LOT of returns/exchanges and they keep so much money for a return then you may also have to pay to ship the return as well which is sooooo wrong. I bought a $59.96 pair of shoes, they already deducted $6.00 prior then I had to pay $24.90 to send them back so my refund was $29.06. On a $60 pair of SHOES! If you actually get to customer service all they do is apologize and repeat that that’s their policy, every time I call??? They will rob you. There are other plus size clothing stores, please use ANYONE ELSE so they don’t rob you like they have me!

    The company has beautiful clothes and I order from them quite a bit. However, their customer service department stinks. I have had issues with reward certificates and a glitch in their system. Apparently, if you have a reward certificate in your cart and you go back into your account, it marks your certificate as being redeemed and there isn't anything you can do about it. They don't listen to you when you tell them there is no order and nothing was redeemed. I am promised each and every time they will fix it.

    Apparently, the last time, the agent lied to me. She promised me that support said they would issue me a $10 e-gift card to my email within 24 hours. After a week, I contacted customer service again. This person said they had no authority to do that. I am beyond frustrated with their customer service. It is completely unacceptable. They just keep passing me around with different answers but nothing is ever solved or taken care of. I am becoming an extremely unsatisfied customer.

    I had ordered a pair of jeans which after one wearing started to separate at the waistband showing shoddy workmanship. I contacted Woman Within thru their website and expected to get my money refunded minus the cost of returning the item as their policy stated. Instead I got an email from Customer Service saying I'd only be getting 20% of my money back. I emailed again quoting their policy verbatim and asking why I wasn't getting the entire amount. Then another CS rep emailed to apologize and say that I would get the whole amount once they received the item. They notified me when the return arrived and said it would be 4-5 business days before my refund would show up on my credit card.

    After that 4-5 days had passed, I received an identical email with a different date but restating the same info. After another 4-5 days, I finally got my money refunded. I've never dealt with a company that didn't seem to know their own return policy nor one that takes 10 business days to refund my money and then only after I reminded them what their policy is. I certainly won't be dealing with Woman Within again.

    I ordered booties, snow boots and two robes in late Dec of 2017. When I received them booties looked cheap like you would buy in discount store, everything else looked ok. I called them right after xmas for return label for booties. After numerous calls received one. Sent back April of 2018. The snow boots I wore they had leak so called for return label. Still waiting. They went garbage. Washed two robes. They pilled up. Don't dry 90% of my clothes. When they dried they were misshapen. Everything is cheaply made from them. To top it off I'm getting a merchandise credit as it's over three months since order. It took 23 days to return booties. Ladies this is how they get over. It's not customer's fault if women don't know their job. We just got penalized so the 18$ credit will never be used. They are a rip off. Hope someone is helped by this review.

    I've been a Woman Within customer for 3 years. I have spent several hundred dollars with this company over the years. I've had products not fit before, but never bothered to go through the return process. Recently, they discontinued the jeans that I wear-- so began the process of attempting to try to find a jean that fit. I tried 5 different pairs. 3 I kept and gave away-- 2 I returned. It takes a few weeks for a credit to be issued.

    When I finally got my last refund they refunded the wrong pair. I called and they were very accommodating. They helped me process the exchange and said they were going to charge my account the amount I was refunded to bring the previous refund balance to 0 and then they were going to refund the correct amount and charge for the exchange of a different (cheaper) product. That was yesterday. I logged into my bank account to see that everything looked right except they had charged me again for the pair of jeans that didn't fit.

    After 30 minutes on the phone with Customer Service they explained that the customer service representative yesterday had reordered the pair of jeans I had returned... and no one could tell me why. It didn't make any sense. Why would I return jeans and place an exchange only to reorder them again? I told them that this was not my mistake. They agreed, but the best they could do was cover shipping on the return and hold my $30 hostage for a month. I didn't authorize the $30 purchase to begin with. Unfortunately, not very many jeans fit me so I'm stuck buying jeans from this company until I find another store. I won't be buying any other clothes from them. That's for sure though. Just know that exchanges with this company can be difficult and they will make unauthorized purchase on your behalf.

    They hold our fund for as long as possible --- it doesn’t take three weeks to process refunds. (Most companies issue a refund as soon as they get a notification of the item being returned) --- When I called to find out why they haven’t issued the credit I was left on hold twice and then hung up on. Not to mention their product was mislabeled and was 5 inches too short - selling petite items without telling the shopper.

    I was traveling and tried to pay my account while on the road. I tried numerous times online and resorted to calling. I was on hold for more than 10 minutes each time and then it just hung up on me. I then got a past due notice for two months (while I was traveling and couldn't get through). Not only did I get a hefty late payment fee, but I was reported to the credit bureau for a past due payment. I called and once again and was told they would not report my payment except once a month. This is showing up on my credit report and I am furious. I once again this morning tried to get into the website for this company to see when the statement was issued for this month to make sure they reported a zero balance. Once again, I couldn't get in except for ordering on the catalog site to SPEND MONEY.

    Finally, I reached a customer care person and closed the credit card with them and was told I had to write a letter to have them remove the remark on my credit status and it could take up to 90 days. She saw where there were numerous remarks where I have talked to them about this. Of course, they report monthly, but it will take up to 90 days to get this off??? I'm so over them. DO NOT get their credit card or if you do, see the fine print at the bottom of their website about having to register again to pay online (which I found out after the fact). IF I EVER ORDER ANYTHING, I will use my personal card and be able to pay as I go.

    I have been a customer with this company for several years now. I began ordering my plus size clothes from them after Fashion Bug went out of business. They are a very respectable company and are easy to deal with. They do tell you clearly on their invoices how to exchange or return and that there is a $7.50 processing fee for returns, unless you are exchanging. They are easy to contact via telephone. I have found that their clothing is very good quality. I highly recommend this company!

They had sent a card out promoting a 50% sale on March 20 & 21. I made my selections in the catalogue, went to the website on March 19, the day before the promotion, put my selections on my wishlist. On March 20, I went on to finalize my purchase only to find my wishlist was gone and prices had been raised considerably. Shame on you Woman Within! This is not the first time this has happened... They have added on extra fees totaling close to $200 and continue to do so AFTER I CLOSED THE ACCOUNT. Impossible to get hold of anyone competent to solve the problem.     Do not order clothing from this company. You will be walking around in rags before your clothing will ever get shipped to you. I ordered 4 pairs of pants for work back in the beginning of February. They were out of stock. They claimed the pants would be shipped March 16. I went to the online chat. The representative that I was chatting with assured me that the pants were going to be shipped on that date. I went online today check the status of the order. They changed the shipping date to April 3. I get another representative telling me about their depleting stock issues. It should not take from February to April to buy 4 pairs of slacks. Woman Within has lost my business. My advice if you would like to buy clothing and get it within a week do not use this company. They will upset and frustrate you. You can do much better.     I have purchased items from Woman Within for a number of years, but as of today I'm canceling my account. They often advertise coupon codes for discounts on purchases but they now have so many restrictions for use of the code that in the end the coupon can't be used! Many other complaints are about their return policy which is also terrible because they charge you to return merchandise unless it's an even exchange. Very poor business practice. To make matters worse, if you use their credit card and the balance is less than $100, they charge an additional $2 just for maintaining a low balance! Woman Within has lost my business!

    I recently ordered an item from Woman Within. I didn't read the return policy because when a company says free returns and exchanges I expect that. The item did not fit so I used their return label to return it for an exchange. After six weeks of not hearing from them I contacted them only to learn that the free exchange was not available because I had used PayPal. The total bill which I had paid was $21.95. After researching my credit card I found that they had refunded $8.49 a week after I returned the item. There was no correspondence about the refund. They said I could call and reorder the item and charge it to my credit card if I wanted it. In summary, it cost me $13.00 to try an item which did not fit. I explained to them that I would no longer order from them and to please take my name off their contact list. Since then I have received an average of two emails a day.

    I wish I could have chosen no stars, the clothing and shoes sold by Woman Within and all of Full Beauty subsidiaries are overpriced, poorly made garbage. There is no quality control.     I just received 2 sweatshirts in different colors. One fit perfectly, the other would fit a size 8 perfectly. How in the heck can the sizing be so inaccurate? It's easier to lose 50 pounds than it is to return it. By the time they take the "restocking" fee and the postage out, you're almost PAYING them to take the item back. The clothes look so cute in the catalog that you get sucked in just one more time. I've received tops that have had the seams practically running down the front instead of the sides. Their prices are cheap but the clothes are. I think I've finally learned my lesson. I've cutting up their credit card and the catalogs are going straight in the trash.

I get a message from them today stating that they received the item and my account has been reimbursed $1.29. REALLY??? That's what I mean, you practically have to pay them to take their worthless clothes back. Oh they gave me a 25% off coupon too. Which is worthless because I intend to NEVER shop with them AGAIN. I'm sick and tired of getting ripped off by this company! Look at the photo I attached. There's at least a 2 in difference on each side!

I was told no, sorry. No changes could be made to my order. I asked to speak to a manager. I explained how I had been a customer with them for thirty years and would like to have the new coupon applied to my order. I was again told no, sorry. After a bit more discussion with the rep, he told me the price on my item had been raised overnight, to accommodate the new coupon, so I really was saving money with my order. What the heck??

    I ordered a skirt for my mom for Christmas. I had to wait over a month for the item to then be notified that the item was on backorder. Then eventually they said the item was not going to be fulfilled. Instead of a refund for the item, they ended up mailing an item that they had chosen for me. And stated if I didn’t want it to send it back. And as I read the clause, mailing it back would cost me $7.50. I have never heard of this practice, would have rather a full refund with apology for not supplying the order. This is a Christmas disaster for me and my mom.     I have bought clothing from here. The sizes are not accurate. I am a larger woman, so the first time I ordered tops in a size 1X, out of the 4 tops I fit well, the others were way too small after being washed & dried. I have ordered pant from also, which are too big. They state free returns & they do send a sticker to return free of charge. BUT they don't tell you there is a $7.50 restocking fee. I again ordered 4 tops, two the same except for the color being different. One fits very well, the other is a bit snug. One of the button ups, the hem isn't even where they meet in the front. None of their clothes are made in the USA, all from other countries, like Asia, China, Pakistan etc. As soon as I get this credit card paid off I will cancel it & get one where the clothes are a much better quality. I really would not recommend this company.

I was told that it was already in production and so it could not be cancelled. I went weeks and weeks without hearing anything from this company.     My first order I spent well over $200.00. The items (bras, swimsuit, skirt) were okay. Just average quality. I did the free exchange to replace one bra. After waiting like a week and a half I called. They processed it as a return. To be honest I'm not sure if I was ever refunded the 7.50 fee to return. I was sent my new item. However my biggest problem has been with billing. It is borderline fraud. I'm just not sure who to report it to. I made a payment in Aug from my bank account. They never notified that it "failed to process". I was notified by Credit Karma that I had a late fee. After calling WW and arguing they did refund the 27$ return fee but not the late fee.

    Now my account amazingly worked when I did it over the phone. (And yes there was ample money in my account, my bank said it NEVER came through.) Fast forward to this week. My payment is due on the 12th. On the 10th in the a.m. I logged in and made my payment. The same account that Hulu and Amazon and Netflix as well as other payments posted this week with zero problems. I noticed I still had extra in there. After figuring what had not posted. It was WW. Logged in. And guess what? My payment "failed to process". I double checked all account numbers. They are correct. I literally made 7 payments on the 10th and all cleared. There is ample money in the account. No hint that something hit and was returned. Which it couldn't as there is plenty of money in my account.

    So now I have another 27$ fee as well as when I call in to fix it they will charge me a late fee. I believe this is a way to collect fees. They mess up the payment on purpose and say "golly gee, it failed to process". Do not use their credit. I'm closing my account asap. I would shy away from WW. Wish I had read these reviews before I ordered.

    I was going to give them a 3 because sizing has been way off for 3 shirts, 1 pants, 2 coats. Two other pants are too short between crotch and drawstring waist (I am 5'3" ordered petite) and the raincoat, which is huge on me, allows limited movement in arms due to the way the arms are cut and connected to coat at shoulder. Went to read how to exchange and return because I want to exchange 1 for smaller size and return defective raincoat. I was shocked to discover that: 1. Free exchange does not apply if you paid with PayPal. 2. Exchanges are really returns and repurchases! 3. Using the term "exchange" is basically false advertising since there are no exchanges, only return credit to a new purchase of same item.

    They tell you, but not anywhere that they promise free exchanges. Instead you have to look in help section. Therefore, you are better off returning for refund and reordering when item is on sale again. Consumer Affairs: Only included receipts for recent orders of 2 coats and 1 shirt. Two previous orders for pants and shirts under same email, but different pay method and name.

    If you order from this company, you are taking your chances that the item will fit properly, be of decent quality, and made from decent fabric. If it doesn't do these things, good luck. It will be up to you to eat the cost of returns and they will be incredibly unhelpful. And know that all of these things are continual issues. Fit is bad, quality is dicey and many of the fabrics are cheap and awful.

    If like me the box doesn't arrive for some reason, they will offer to charge you a second time to re-send, and they will put all the work back on you to track down the package and remedy the situation. They will not care that this is a ridiculous inconvenience, and something that they should be handling as the shipper, not you as the recipient. In short, they're awful all the way around including quality and service. They don't care.

    The pants I ordered were not the same as pictured in the catalog. The picture showed the pants had pockets, and they do not. Two of the pants were the size I ordered and the other was a smaller size. But, they both fit the same. The material is very flimsy and not good quality. I read other reviews on the return policies and I will not be returning the clothes, they fit at least. I will not be ordering from them again.     "Designed with the needs of plus size women in mind." is what they say on their site. They make it seem like it's for plus size women like me, with heavy feet, plus sized figure. BUT it's NOT. Their stuff runs sooo small. Their stuff is for thin plus size models, you know the ones that are considered plus sized but they're really just normal to us everyday people. Even the models they advertise on their site wearing their products are not plus sized. I bought sandal heels that are sized 12 WW. And it fit more like a size 8, normal, no width at all. That's my usual size and it didn't fit. I didn't take it back, it's just sitting in my closet collecting dust. I've never seen a size 12 Wide Width that small. Never again!

    Please for your own sanity do not order anything from Woman Within. I have never encountered a more inept, incompetent online clothing company in my life. I placed an order for merchandise totaling $64.87. The quality was very poor and not as listed in the catalog so I immediately returned all the items long before there was another billing cycle on the account. The return policy is not customer friendly. It doesn't once list that you yourself pay for shipping for returns but it gives you a return label. After mailing the items back, I called to make sure they received the items and was told that once the items were back there would be a $7.50 return fee that I could call catalog services and have removed.

    After not receiving a monthly bill imagine my surprise when I went online and found out that they only refunded $54.88 of the original charge and then did not refund the $9.99 original shipping charge. Plus they charge me a $20 late fee and additional $1.35 interest on an account that I should have owed $7.50 at the most. It took me over an hour on the phone and talking to 6 people to get this resolved. In order to get the late charges, interest, and $9.99 mailing fee removed I was transferred from a Customer Service Person to Catalog Sales, to the Credit Department, to a Credit Supervisor, then the Credit Manager. Lastly I had to call a separate number for Catalog Sales to get the $7.50 charge removed. Now I have to wait for the dispute resolution to take effect to make sure the account is now back to $0. WHAT A MESS!!! I HAVE CLOSED THIS ACCOUNT!!!

    I ordered a pair of plus size pants off of Women Within and first of all they don't list if it's plus size or normal clothing you're buying. Secondly the return policy is stupid. It doesn't once list that you yourself pay for shipping for returns but it gives you a return label if needed, so I paid almost $20 for these pants. They didn't fit and so I sent them back. Out of all the money I spent I'm only receiving $5.48 back. It would have been fine if they had just listed that don't pay for shipping there or back. So then I called the customer service and she was completely rude and saying how I was stupid and wrong and how what I was getting sent back was common sense.

    I recently spent $150 and used PayPal as my form of payment. I was supposed to get free shipping and exchanges. Out of 5 items in one order, only one shirt fit. The quality was not great but at least it fit, so I kept it and sent everything else back in the two packages they sent me. I included the order form for exchanges and used the return labels they provided. I then got an email saying they were crediting my account $98. Apparently, when you use PayPal, they charge you $7.50 to use their ''free'' return labels. Also they ignore your request for exchanges (also because you paid with PayPal!?). After speaking with a noncaring customer representative, I asked for the supervisor who was sullen, nonsyllabic, and said that is their policy and I should have read the back of the invoice. What invoice!!!

    I ordered online and the only invoice I received is the one that came in the package with the clothing. It's a little late for them to tell me I'm being punished for using PayPal AFTER the fact!! Bottom line - I received one thin cotton shirt that ended up costing me $35 all told. This with a half off sale!! I will NEVER shop with them again and I would urge all others to steer clear. I think they make the bulk of their money by ambiguous promises. The sizes were also WAY off as I see other people have mentioned multiple times. BEWARE this deceitful, uncaring company.

    OMG, I don't know where to start with the nightmare ride it's been with ordering from WOMAN WITHIN. I did the buy one get one free... I filled out the returns/exchange properly as well. They absolutely (several customer service people later) can do basic math or there is THEFT going on in this company!!! They need to be INVESTIGATED and shut down.     I found a great buy 1 get 1 free offer at Woman Within. However, when the merchandise arrived, the clothing was much bigger than their size chart indicated. I sent it back for a "free" exchange, but they processed it as a return and repurchase. This means I lost the buy 1 get 1 savings, and now am charged full price. Customer service claims this is their process. Nowhere on their website or return form does it say this. Ridiculous! In addition, they processed one item as a return instead of an exchange, even though I filled out the exchange form correctly.

    I received 2 pairs of pants, they were buy one get one. They were too small and made cheap. The same size at other stores fit fine. I sent the pants back for an exchange. I heard nothing for a week. I called and a young girl answered and told me it takes 2 weeks for them to receive and process the return, then another 2 weeks for them to process the exchange. This is utterly ridiculous. It should NEVER take that long. Other online companies don't take nearly as long as WomanWithin. Never will I ever order from them again. The girl was sweet but her apology meant nothing to me and she sound like she didn't mean it either. I told them to issue me a full refund. The girl told me it would take about 3 weeks for a refund.     I was going to travel the next day and therefore made the decision to pay increased overnight shipping charge of $19.99 over the $9.98 standard. All items I purchased were listed as in stock and to be delivered next day. Only partial order arrived today and other was listed on invoice as backorder--meaning I still had to go out shopping which is what I wanted to avoid and why I agreed to higher shipping fee. When I called customer service they said my missing item went on backorder post my order but since I got a partial order no credit could be issued against extra shipping cost.     I decided to try ordering from them because of a buy 2 get 1 free sale. I ordered 3 qualifying things, and one pair of leggings. As I was ordering, I was informed two of the items were on back order for a couple weeks, which I was fine with. One item came quickly, one a few weeks later (before the pair of leggings that were allegedly in stock), and then the other one never showed up. When I checked order status it just said "processing for shipment." I emailed customer service and was told my last item would be shipping on June 1st. The next day I got an email saying my last item had been cancelled, and since it was the free one of the "buy 2 get 1 free" there was nothing to be done. Pretty shady business practice, in my opinion.

    Well I made a order middle of April. Which some of my order was on backorder till May. Then when it was time for items to be delivered got another email stating it would not be until the end of June I would receive my stuff. So I call customer service and they tell me no items have shipped. So I wait another week still no clothes. So when I call customer service again and ask to a supervisor I was told by him, “I don’t know why you haven’t got your stuff.” Nice customer service. Then he proceeded to get a attitude with me.     Nothing about my order went well. I ordered 6 items and have only received three. I am still waiting on the other items and it has been well over a month. The items I received are two sizes too big. Everything I received are made in Bangladesh. The clothes all look really cute in the catalog but are poor quality and not true to size at all.     I had paid my accounts off. They charged me with a pair of TD earrings which I didn't order... I had put a coupon in the payment for Roaman's plus I also put $15.98 check. I placed another $15.98. Paying for the item with Roaman. My pay off balance $67.97 which I paid off... Both Roaman's and Woman Within charge my account late fees $20.00 on each account. Opening both account owing $57.98... Woman Within and $56.98... I did not order tear drop earrings.

    My account is under dispute. First they say it will take 30 days. Sending me a letter stating it will take 90 days. I have good credit and I refuse to let my credit over $38.98. I don't steal. I have all kinds of accounts open paying them all on time. I want this account dispute over with. I have had long conversations over the phone. It's not going anywhere. Please can Consumer Affairs do anything... When over I will close both accounts and never deal with these people again...

    Wasn't very satisfied at all. The clothes I received didn't fit the way they were described in the catalog or shown in the pictures. Unless the shirts say "tunic", they are too short. If they do say "tunic" they come to your knees. They cheat you at returning items and have a worthless customer service number. I returned an item that was $42 and another for $20 at the same time. Why did I get refunded for only $50? I won't be shopping here again. The sizing is too off for their returns to be shady. No thanks!

    I ordered 3 shirts. Unfortunately, I mistakenly threw away the bag for 1; but returned the other 2. NEVER RECEIVED credit but was charged $7.50 for return. I received an email from them stating they had received my return but it was not credited. I called repeatedly and was told I had to call another department, which I could NEVER get on the phone. This went on and on for months. I finally made a minimum payment (which should have left me about $25 to pay) and kept calling about the return. Meanwhile they are adding on all kinds of fees - even though I told them I would pay the balance when they credited my account - which they never did. Now this has been turned over to collections and I dispute the claim (over $300) - to "rectify" the dispute they send me a copy of my last bill - again NO CREDIT for returns.

    Service is HORRIBLE - it is automated and you can't even get someone to talk to. I finally had to email them and tell them to call me. Again, they couldn't help, here is another number. Never could get anyone at that number - automated. You go around and around with them. Clothing was SHODDY - so thin you could see through it. I ordered the size I always wear and the shirts were at least 2 sizes too big. AWFUL!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

    Shame on them. I bought some clothing and when I checked out they asked for some personal info which I thought was for my bank card verification - but two days later I get a "platinum credit card" from them and find out that instead of billing my bank card they opened a line of credit and charged my purchase to it. When I tried to call to pay it off and close it - they told me I had to wait 2 days!!! So I closed the account and will pay it off in two days and never ever order another things from them. The customer service number you call on WW the boy {LIAR} I talked to told me he would remove $23.48 off my acct. A month later it was still on my acct. I called back about it and they told me they couldn't remove it. So I canceled my acct. out also. They won't get another dime of my money... Scams... I don't mind at all when they tell the truth to you, but I HATE a LIAR as they are. Buy clothes from a company you can trust, and this sure ain't the company. BEWARE of WOMAN WITHIN. Stay AWAY...

    If I could, I would have left zero stars. The sizing is wacky. What fits in one style is huge or tiny in another (yes, I know there's variability in styles.) Even worse is return/exchange policy. I returned jeans and placed an order for exchange so I wouldn't get charged $7.50 for each exchange. I wrote down the prices from the website and the current code. Return: 44.22, exchange: 53.00. Instead I was charged $92 or full, non sale price for the items I ordered. I would have come out ahead paying the postage. They suckered me out of $40. What a racket!     I ordered from this company and provided a shipping address that was different from my billing address. When I got my confirmation, they indicated they were shipping it to the billing address. I called right away, within a couple of hours. They said the order was already "processing" and they could not change it. The order was not going to be shipped for four days, but they could not change it!! I then asked to cancel the order, and they said I could NOT cancel! So my package will be delivered to our other address and no one is there. They said if and when the item is "returned" to them, they will give me a refund. Now I have to dispute the charge with my bank since I no longer trust this company. I order online all the time and have NEVER encountered such a problem. Do not order anything from them!

    I just closed my account with them and will never buy from them again. I'm very unhappy with the way an annual beauty club membership was added last year, automatically renewed this year and the inability to remove this without contacting customer service. I accidentally signed up for the beauty club last year when it was added to the end of an order. This company tricks people into buying it because rather than the customer selecting it, they must UNSELECTED it in order to NOT be enrolled. After having this happen and then being automatically charged again, I will never purchase from them again. I've read similar complaints from others regarding the automatic beauty club enrollment, so it is not an isolated incident.

    I have been ordering from Woman Within since early summer of this year & have had a lot of trouble. They advertise free exchanges but what they don't tell you is it takes about 2 months to get your exchange. I recently made two different orders by check totaling 6 items. They were out of four of them & said they would refund my money. One out of 6 would be acceptable but four out of six is not good business. So I wasted my time going through the catalog!

    They used the excuse of Black Friday for running out. (All stores have a Black Friday.) This was winter clothing & winter has not even arrived yet. Plus it takes about 3-4 weeks for them to process your order. I told them to take my name off of their mailing list. (I got about 4 catalogs a week!) They are too concerned with getting an order from you but don't seem to care about filling the orders that are waiting.

    First let me say, I am disabled that is why I order online. In NORMAL clothing, I wear a size 18 in pants. I ordered size 18 in jeans. Myself and my granddaughter could fit in those jeans. Instead of paying $7.50 to return EACH item, I gave them to a friend. Then I ordered size 14, BIG again, my God, am I shrinking? Gave those away. Then I ordered size 12. One pair fits perfect. The next pair is 2 inches too short, the next pair is 4 inches too long. Now keep in mind these are the SAME size, SAME style.

    I think Woman Within is an IRREGULAR store trying to pass off as a REGULAR store. Anyone thinking about ordering from these FRAUDS, think again. They are never TRUE TO SIZE. A size 3x top could be used as a child's tent. I wear a size 3x top at NORMAL stores, but an xlarge at Woman Within. I will pay what I owe and wash my hands of this company and others connected with them and to stay active in letting people know about their quality of products.

    I bought a robe from this company and they shipped it without the belt. I contacted customer service in writing as I like to have these sort of transactions documented. Did not hear back. I contacted them again stating this was my second request and was told I would have to wait a month for a credit and to go ahead and send back the robe at no cost to me. Good thing I looked here first to learn that they charge you for returns. Waiting a month for a credit? Unacceptable. They could have just sent the matching belt but they refused.

    Having worked in retail for years I know it does not take a month to issue a customer a credit. It takes minutes. There was also no need for me to return anything when they could have done a little research and sent me my missing item. They simply did not want to break up a set despite the mistake being their fault. This company thrives on ripping people off from the numerous negatives reviews here.     I returned $86.00 worth of merchandise three years ago and have yet to receive a refund. I was in a car accident and had to have 4 surgeries and with all of the medical bills coming out of my pocket, I called customer service to see if I could set up a payment plan and was told they don't do that, so I paid what I could. My balance was $285.00 but I wasn't able to pay as much as they wanted, I went online to see what my balance was down to and I was unable to access, I called customer service and was told my balance was $856.00. When I asked how that could have happened I was told my account was in collections so they connected me with a collections officer who told me that the $50.00 a month payment wasn't enough and was considered nonpayment so late fees and large interest fees added.

    When I asked why I couldn't access my account to keep tabs on my payments and balance I was told that I lost all privileges. They refused to send me an invoice monthly and I was told the same thing. No privileges allowed and I had to set up monthly automatic payments and nothing less than $78.00 per month which they have been taking out of my account for 7 months. I just checked my credit report and they turned in a judgment against me stating I owe $902.00 and that I haven't made any payments, I would like to know who is pocketing my payments. Through all of this they keep sending me around 8 catalogs a month, they should be fined for causing undue garbage and littering of our planet.

    I kept telling them I would pay my account off once I received my settlement and guess what I will be receiving it shortly, so they need to realize that calling me a liar was uncalled for and unprofessional. I am concerned that once I pay them off that they might consider continuing taking money out of my account because they are not a trustworthy company. If enough people who have been mistreated, lied to maybe the company will take a big enough hit they may revise the way of treating their clients.

    8/18 I received items I ordered and some pajama I did not request. 8/22 I called and was told just to return them and I would receive credit to my account. I received my statement and no credit reflected. I then tried to make online payment less the cost of the pajamas (96.17 minus 16.88 = $79.29). Their system would not accept this, on the min payment or the total $96.17. So I called 1-866-776-9859 and finally was connected to a live person. She advised me there would be a return fee on the PJs of 8.50 and now to make this payment they would charge me 9.00 in addition. I feel I should not have to pay for a item I did not order and why could they not apply the credit for the return. Also $9.00 to pay online, that is awful. I will never deal with any of their companies. This is unfair practices I think.

    I had returned a top. Women Within's return rate is $7.50 and the process time from the post office through Women's Within shipping department takes an average of 10-14 days. For $7.50 charge and working in Logistics as my career 5-7 days for this price is average. At that time I went into my account to pay off the credit card, which was a payment of $11.50. I did not think anything else about this until I received a call in August to call Women Within about my account.

    I got online and I had charges totally $46.00. I called immediately and they specified I had two months of late payments and another charge I did not understand. The late fees were $36.00. I asked about their process time and that is when I found out it is 10-14 days and the credit does not get credited immediately. I express my payment of $11.50 so I was not late one month. At that time she expressed that it did not automatically get credited the day I made the payment. I also ordered this top in April and did not receive this top until July. Since it was not in stock, and there was no communication on when or if this top was coming I thought it was canceled.

    So four problems encountered with Women Within. Long lead-times on back orders with no communication, the return shipment has a process time of 10-14 days at a high cost and still takes time to get credited on the account, process of the actual payment and the high late fees charged. I just went in to get the order number and it is not showing up under my account information. The return tracking number is ** received 07/07/16. My customer number is **. They did one thing right per my request which was to close this credit card.

    I had a zero balance on my "Full Beauty" account and received a bill for $19 for a "Woman Within Purchase - Catalog - Club Membership." I attempted to call the company and was transferred through four different levels - one automated and three discussions with representatives, after the automated system asked me at least 15 questions. I could not hear the representatives (the volume was really low, and I hear well). I told them I did not ask for such a membership and wanted it cancelled. The third representative cancelled it for me. I lost about 20 minutes of my life I cannot get back. I'm frustrated with their automated system, and I'm NOT happy with Woman Within... Not to mention the dozens of catalogs I get per month from the combined Full Beauty family (Lane Bryant, Woman Within, Romanns, etc.) I recycle them, but it's a waste of paper as I seldom order from them anymore.

    I have been very disappointed with their quality. Hadn't bought anything from them in years, so this was a surprise. However, as I opened my various accounts to pay the monthly bills, I mentioned to a friend on the phone that I bet Woman Within didn't get my payment processed from last month so they can add-on a late fee. Well, that part didn't change. Interesting how all my other payments go through every month regularly, and this Woman Within organization always has problems. They lost another customer, and I am spreading the word to my 65+ network.

    Recently bought two items from Woman Within that had to be exchanged for color and size. I was charged $7.50 for the exchange (their size description did not accurately describe fit) and color was wrong on a second item. When exchanged items were processed for reshipping, the prices for both items were increased. They were bought on a sale and the sale price should have been honored on the exchanged. The difference was about $12 + the exchange cost. I will NEVER buy from them again and I suggest you don't either.

    I ordered a raincoat in early March via Amazon. The item delivered on March 15th. It was way too small even though labelled as a 2x in Women's. My daughter who is an XL in normal clothes did not fit either. I requested a refund and was sent the information. I took the item to the post office with their label attached on April 2nd. With Amazon the minute the shipper scans the item in you get your refund so that is what I was expecting. When that did not occur I wrote a note to Woman Within and was told "Depending on the volume of returns we have, it can take 1-3 weeks for us to receive and process your return from the date returned."     I would like to leave a review regarding my overall experience with Woman Within (and by association, its collective umbrella companies as well i.e. Roaman's, Full Beauty, Jessica London, etc). On December 11, 2015 I placed my first order with Woman Within. I’m always hesitant to order from a new clothing company, especially being a plus sized woman and fits and sizes being all over the board as they are. I was also hesitant to order given the reviews and feedback I’ve read and researched online. But Woman Within was running a decent sale/special, and I took the plunge. Initially I was charged for the entire order at once. Then a few days later, when just one of my two items shipped, was the order partially refunded. They gave me a ship date for my second item that was just a week later, so no biggie.

    I received my first item, a denim shirt dress. I had ordered my regular size, but what I received was extremely tight! I followed the instructions provided with my invoice to return the item, thinking it would be an even exchange as I just wanted an alternative size. No, that is not the logical way WW processes their returns/exchanges! First, send your item back. Then, it will take us 2-4 weeks to process your return. Then, you will get your cost back less $7.50 for return processing. Then you repurchase your item at full cost (because after such a lengthy turnaround, it is likely that your item is no longer on sale). Thank you for shopping WW!

    Fine, ok… I just want my items at this point. So I obtain my shirt dress in an alternate size. The quality is mediocre. I’ve definitely found worse and better in my plus size clothing shopping journeys. However, the price they charge for their items definitely not on par with what the quality of the items actually are. Think Macy’s prices for Walmart items. I had high hopes for this dress. Alas, even with alterations, it still will likely sit in my closet, unworn. In all of this mess, I am still waiting for my second item. A pintuck flannel shirt that I’m extremely excited about. About a week after the fiasco with the shirt dress, I receive an email from WW explaining that my item is on back order, and it should be shipped by 1/25/16. Ok, ok, I can wait. I like it too much to go back now. So I choose to wait. And wait. And wait. Because I also received a backorder notification from WW on 2/21/16, then 3/22/16.

    So today, 3/21/16, I receive an email that my order has been cancelled because the item is no longer available. Seriously? You weren’t aware that this item was unavailable before? I am so disappointed with everything I have experienced with this company and umbrella of companies. From their customer service, which ranges everywhere from total indifference to utter incompetence. From their items, which are modeled on size 4 models in catalogs without a real idea of how their clothing fits on their plus size clientele. And ultimately to their prices, lack of follow through on their “focus” or “mission”.

After not receiving the item by 3-16-16 (they state delivery within ten days of order on their website) we called their customer service to report the problem. The customer service rep looked up the order and stated that it was on back order and would not be shipped until May - two months after we ordered it and not within 10 days as stated on their website.     Purchased 3 swimsuits online. I normally wear a 14 or 16, so I bought 2 size 14 and 1 size 16 suit. None of them fit. I was shipped a wrong color combination on the size 16 and when I tried to exchange the suit, I was told that the color combo I ordered was not available and I could pay the difference to get a different size, EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS THEIR MISTAKE. I had to argue and argue and talk to different people. I finally was convinced to reorder the suit I wanted in 2 different sizes because this larger size and color combination was on backorder. I returned all 3 original suits and received confirmation of the refund, but the refund amount DID NOT match the original purchase price. I was told by different people who confirmed that the shipping charge would be credited to me because of the mistake on the 1 suit.

    If this is the case, why would the credit be different than the purchase price?? I called and was advised that there is for lack of a better term a return charge. This was NOT DISCLOSED when I placed the order with a live person. I am very upset that due to different problems with the order, I HAVE to pay this undisclosed fee. The sizing on the swimsuits are way off and since this is a catalogue order a customer would not be aware of that until the item was received. Once this nonsense is resolved, I will NEVER purchase from WOMAN WITHIN, LANE BRYANT, ROAMANS, JESSICA LONDON, etc., other companies that are all affiliated. Shame on WOMAN WITHIN for this unethical practice.

    Woman Within has one product that I will always get from them. They have a particular style of pants that fit me perfectly, and I order several pairs every few years. In between times, I occasionally see an ad for them or search their site for some other item I need. Every single time I end up canceling my order at checkout because it ends up being $15-$20 more than I anticipated due to hidden and jacked up fees. If I use a coupon code to save money on my purchase, they increase the shipping fees. They always add on anticipated taxes (even though no other site I use does this).

    When I have ordered items other than the pants that I like, I have found that the sizing of items is inconsistent. For example, I wear a size SMALL in the pants I regularly order, but for all their other pants, I have to order a MEDIUM. When I returned the mis-sized pants for replacement, I was charged a $7 re-stocking fee per pair - more hidden fees!

    Their underwear is mis-sized, too. I ordered my normal size and ended up with underpants that were too small and bras that were too big. I'm just going to make do, though, since I don't want to pay a $7 re-stocking fee for every item. Today I was looking for sweatsuits and found what should have been a good deal ($20 per set with a good coupon). The sub-total was $47, but by the time I got to final checkout, it was $62 so I didn't order. Just a waste of time, and if there had been anything wrong with these sets I would have been stuck with them or forced to pay $21 worth of re-stocking fees. I am writing this review to remind myself not to order from Woman Within again until I need more of the one type of pants they have that fit me perfectly!

    I received a Woman Within email with an offer to get a travel set for free with a purchase. Within a few hours and as a first time purchase, I ordered two tunics to take advantage of the free offer of the 2 pc plaid travel set #0054-10574-1044 when a $25 purchase was made and with free shipping. The free shipping did not go through. I contacted them by onsite email. They said they would waive shipping and return costs but that the 2 pc plaid travel bag was not available despite the initial email that was received a few hours earlier. They were replacing it with a 3 pc polka dot travel set #0054-02119-1044. My first thought was this might be great until I saw the polka dot travel set. It is very cheap, unattractive, and not a travel set but a tote purse with a tiny make up bag and a plastic zippered wallet.

    It was described as quilted look denim but was clearly not quilted or denim and was made of pollyester (sic). So they redid the order without my permission and in that process the "Buy 2 and get $2 off each" savings for the 2 tunics (which is on each tunic in the catalogue) disappeared. So my shipping waiver cost me $4. I complained further and was told again that the 2 pc plaid travel set was out of stock and that all can could expect was the cheap 3 pc polka dot travel set. I can at this moment order the 2 pc plaid travel set separately because I checked it online. It is not out of stock.

    I have cancelled the order and I am waiting for a refund. I expect that to take at least a 10 email exchange with Woman Within that it took to get here. I highly DO NOT recommend this company. I feel I was scammed out of a reasonable offer for a nice product to have it switched for a much lesser and cheaper product. They said, "We reserve the right to make replacements on offers." Scam.

    My husband ordered 2 shirts for me for Christmas, but they were the wrong size. I filled out the return form and sent them back. After 2 weeks, I called Woman Within customer service and was told it would cost me almost $20 to return the shirts. The representative was rude and told me it was my own fault for ordering the wrong size. She said I was required to write my credit card number on the return form for an EXCHANGE. I cried because I knew my husband would be upset.

    I called back several hours later and spoke to a manager who assured me that the first representative gave me incorrect information, and that my shirts would be re-sent without further charges. That manager gave me false information, again. My Visa was credited for almost $20 less than my husband originally spent. They plan to charge me again for the original amount of the shirts. So the whole process ended up costing me more. The customer service was horrible. I will NEVER purchase from Woman Within again. I have permanently cancelled my catalog and email correspondence with this company. I do NOT recommend purchasing from this company!

    I have been buying from Woman Within for quite a few years. I have never had any issues with them. When talking to the representative on one occasion, he was very personable and eager to help. I have made returns with no problem. I usually order when there is a special with free returns, especially if I think there might be a problem with colors or sizes. The only problem I have had was that I made separate orders for a dress and a sweater that I wanted - were together. The color name was the same, but they did not go together at all. I don't consider that much of a problem because that can always happen with different color lots.

    A review that I read said that their sizes tend to run small. With the size chart and my measuring I had no problem with sizes. I would say that the pants that I have ordered are very large in the thigh area. My pants were always getting stuck on things as I was rising from seated position. I solve that problem by buying leggings instead of pants.

    I ordered a sweater from them on 11/25 and was told it would be shipped immediately and was in stock. As the weeks went by the expected delivery date kept getting changed. About a week ago they put that same sweater at 50% off with the "guaranteed" delivery by 12/24. Often it's possible to get free shipping on your purchases but I opted to pay shipping charges to ensure that I got my item on time. Here it is 12/29 and I still don't know where the package is. Waiting on hold for 45 minutes when I telephone them is unacceptable so I don't try anymore.

    I opened my bank account to discover I had been charged by Woman Within $81 for a coat I originally paid $35 for. I previously sent a coat back for exchange due to size. So I called and explained what was going on and the lady on the phone said there was a difference in size so it cost more. I said there was no way it cost that much more for a one size change. This was an exchange and I indicated that in my paperwork in the exchange the coupon. I asked her to apply the coupon and she said she couldn't do that. I asked her to cancel the order and she couldn't do that either. The only thing she could do was send a return label with my new coat so I don't get charged to send it back. I did get charged to send it back the first time and look what happened, they just charge you an arm and a leg.

    My mom tried to place an order on Cyber Monday but the coupon code wouldn't work for the international destination. She called the toll free number and was told there was a glitch in the system for international orders but that her account was flagged so that when the order showed, they would immediately adjust the order and she would not be charged full price as they didn't charge anything until ready to ship. A call back a couple hours later and she was told that although they seen the note, that the adjustments couldn't be made until it was shipped, and to call back once the shipment email came through.

    Two days later when she received the shipment email, she called in and was told that they could do the 50% off adjustment on the items but that the shipping company (i-parcel) would have to do the shipping charge adjustment and adjust the taxes & duties accordingly. The employee said she sent the company an email to do it and to wait a few days for the two refunds to show on her card. Yesterday, mom had to call back as no refunds were showing yet and she had been charged the full price! She was advised that the refund from Woman Within would show shortly (and it did within a couple hours after the phone call) but that she should call i-parcel herself. So Mom called and had to leave a detailed voicemail to which she was not called back on and then she emailed them in detail about everything.

    They emailed back that since she received the goods (yesterday also) that they would not be refunding anything at all. A very long phone call with 3 different Woman Within employees today did not go well and they all back peddled and the result came back in an email a few minutes ago saying that shipping, taxes, and customs charge on the original value of items regardless if they are on sale and thus I had been charged correctly!! Like, how stupid do they think people are? If you've done ANY cross border shopping at all you know that is completely UNTRUE and if you haven't, anyone can simply call customs and find out for themselves that that was a total lie. So. Woman Within simply tells lies upon lies. Don't waste your time & money on this dishonest company.

    I made an order online that included two items described as "Personalized long ultra soft hoodie robe." I put them in my shopping cart but found no place to indicate what names to put on them (the model in the picture wore one reading "Kathy"). I assumed there would be a place in the checkout process but there was no place to put the names. So I placed the order and on the SAME day, called the customer service line to tell them the names. They said they couldn't make any adjustment to the order and I'd have to accept the robes without names OR I could make a new order on the phone and tell them the names -- then return the plain ones when they arrived.

    Problem #1: They were going to charge me a $7.50 fee for returning the plain robes. I refused this option and tried to cancel the order. Problem #2: They said they could not cancel it. I asked for a waiver of the $7.50 return fee and they refused. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for a half hour (the entire call was 43 minutes long). She told me she could waive the $7.50 fee so I began the reorder process. Problem #3: She was going to CHARGE me for the personalization of the robes, which was NOT disclosed when I purchased them. I pointed out that the items were advertised as personalized -- that personalization was not listed as an option at an additional charge but was listed as part of the deal -- and that nowhere on the item page or in the checkout process did it say there was an additional fee for the personalization.

    She did not waive the personalization fee and she stated that she could not cancel the order when I asked her to do so. So I am being charged for an order that hasn't even been shipped yet, when cancellation was requested the same day of the order because of a hidden fee! She told me I could return the entire order (when it arrived) using the free return credit... so I have two NON-personalized robes coming that I do not want and cannot get the personalized robes for the advertised price. Neither the customer service rep nor the supervisor seemed concerned and neither apologized for the long wait, the hassle, the system not being set up to take the personalization information or allowing cancellation of an item before it was shipped on the same day it was ordered, or for the hidden personalization fee. I will never order from this company again.

    I ordered on October 1, half my order arrived. I was annoyed I was charged for all items and only received half my order. I contacted them, they said I was not charged for the back orders. I was $143 out of my bank. Then to see the sizes of these clothes. I have been buying large since I was a small. These tents looked like someone could live in them. So I want to return 4 of the 6 items I received. And to return my money from back order. I believe this is their mistake. Their sizes are not accurate. I pay $ to return 3 tops not the 3 pants because I don't want to lose all my return on sending back their bad clothes.

    It is Dec 3 I have not received a dime back. I went to their site and live chatted with Tony. He said I'm only due $ 30 back. WHAT??? He says after taxes and shipping and the returns. I said $117 was the subtotal before shipping and taxes. He says, "I don't see that." I say, "Am I being charged for the back orders to be returned?" He says no. Well what am I paying for. I show I'm due at least $70... Anyway I get $30 out of 70. What a rip off. $117 was removed from my account by woman within. I don't give a hoot what they say. I have my statement. I basically paid $117 for two workout capris and a pair of sweatpants.

    I have been shopping with Roaman's/Woman Within for many years. I know the quality of the products are superb! I still have shirts/jeans I ordered years ago. They wash/dry well and do not fall apart. Good luck finding this plus size cute comfortable clothes in the brick and mortar stores. On the down side, I would say that the sizes run large, they double the prices up before they run a sale & the return shipping cost is very high. You really have to know your prices from company to company. For instance, a t-shirt with WW is $8.99, with Roaman's, it is $10.99 same shirt. I have NEVER had a problem with exchanges or with refunds. Do Not make your decision to shop with this company on just the bad reviews.

    In July I ordered 2 pair of pants. They arrived and wrong size. They sent petite and not the correct size as well. I returned them the very next day. Their mistake, they can pay for the shipping. I heard nothing from them until the end of September. I received a bill $37.98. I requested more info and I was told that was charges for returning the items I ordered. I explained it was their mistake & I should not have to pay anything. I conceded to paying half. I mailed the $17.49 that I was told to pay. They received it on time as I mailed it priority mail with tracking. Told them Cancel my account.

    I received ANOTHER bill for $4. The charge on the bill states fees charged but the total is $4.00 They cannot explain why or what the charges are only that I owe it. I told them cancel my account & I received a letter stating they have turned me in to the credit bureau. The bill has been paid and on time. This company needs to be looked at by the State Attorney General of Texas since that's where the billing is coming from. This company is awful.

    Called to place an order. The agents act like they don't want to take your order and like they don't have time to take your order. They have a very nasty disposition when you ask a couple questions. I have no issues with their clothes at all. I find a few of their shirts made a little big, but everything else has been great. I suggest knowing what size you truly are in stretch jeans because you would buy a size smaller than what you actually wear. I find all of their shirts that I have gotten has been of quality. The people that are saying their clothes are not of quality is not true. It's like ordering from Roaman's in which I can truly say their clothes are made smaller than they should be.

    Only reason I gave one star is because of the way you're treated when you call in an order. Sadly, I will never order from them again because of this! If they do rip you off for taxes when you return an item, it is against the law. If you don't know how to get your money back you need to call Comenity Bank or your credit card company. They can not keep your sales tax but, they can and will keep shipping fees and they also try to keep them on free returns and free shipping. They are a bit shady so if you pay close attention to detail you will be safe. If not don't order from these people!

    I ordered two pair of women's pants size petite 12. I receive 1 pair size women's regular 14-16. After reading the reviews I'm scared to try to remedy this problem. Sound like from what I read that you will end up losing even more money if you try. It cost me $39.98.     I had ordered 8 shirts. Two didn't fit and I didn't like them so I returned them. The other 6 I liked but were too small so I returned them with the other two and wanted an exchange for a larger size on the 6 shirts. I filled out the exchange form, used the prepaid label which was a charge of $7.50 USD. I shipped everything via USPS as Woman Within requested on August 27, 2015. I never heard back about my return. I made about 4 or 5 phone calls to customer service only to be told to call back another time as they had no answer for me.

    On Oct. 2, 2015 I called again and customer service told me they refunded me for all 8 shirts and never got my request for exchange on 6 of the eight shirts. So I'm not getting an exchange and if I want them, I was told I had to reorder them. I checked with my credit card company and on Sept. 15, 2015 I got a refund from Woman Within. However, minus tax and my original shipping charge of $13.99, my total merchandise order was $105.92. Minus the return charge of $7.50, I should be getting a refund of $98.42. Instead they refunded me only $67.67! They cheated me out of $30.75! So long story short, I never got the shirts in the right size and they ripped me off for $30.75 because they didn't refund me the proper amount. Calling customer service to fix this is useless. I'm writing to the President and CEO of Woman Within.

    I would give them less than a single star if possible. I paid for priority mail and insured the item being returned. It was received, according to USPS tracking #, on 8/31/15. They still have not acknowledged receipt and when I called I was told it could take 6-8 weeks for my refund!! I have never heard of such poor customer service. It irked me to have to pay to return the item in the first place; the least they could do is promptly refund my money. Beware when doing business with this company. I will never order from them again.

    Just tried to order for the second time but again noticed that my order total seemed quite high. (All in with shipping, 2 $11 tee shirts became nearly $60 CAD.) This time I checked the exchange rate (on numerous converter sites/banks) and totals came out lower than theirs. Used the live chat to inquire about this and was given some spiel about taxes, shipping, product cost and directed to go to the international shipping section. Explained that that was not my question and was finally told that there is an outside company that does their calculations for online orders. So obviously I am paying for that with the extra added on costs. Sneaky and insulting! Do they not think anyone will check?

    I will not be ordering again from Woman Within. Too bad because they have the best basic 100% cotton tees I have been able to find. Their sizing for these are generous and the fabric is excellent. But, I really don't think I should be paying for their cost of doing business that is disguised as part of the currency exchange from US to CAD. This was only about $3 on a total of $60, but it's a matter of principle.

    Do not order from Woman Within, their clothes are oversized and of poor quality. I ordered several cargo pants and tees this summer. I returned all of the merchandise because of poor quality and poor sizing. I am now told I owe $45.00 for the return; for what? A shipping charge that was supposed to be free, and a return shipping charge, and a late charge because they didn't get the payment on time. WHAT kind of business charges you double to return items in original packaging???

    I have been a longtime customer of Woman Within. I've never had any problems ordering online or with any products or returns. One day, recently, I tried to order some t-shirts. My debit card wouldn't go through. I called the bank. No problems there. So I tried, again, to place an order. It wouldn't go through. I decided to "chat live" online. I told the rep my problem. She told me I would have to take down the firewall on my computer because that was causing the problem. I said that wasn't happening and I would shop elsewhere. Anyone else ever been told this?

    I just got off the phone with customer assistance. The first person couldn't help me with an item they carry but couldn't match the item number too. She transferred me to a person who was supposed to assist me but was very abrupt and impatient. I told him I didn't have the catalog number but had ordered it from them before. He kept asking for the catalog number. I reminded him I didn't have it. He got annoyed and spoke in a sharp tone. I asked for his manager and after a few seconds the phone was hung up. I don't know why I bother. We have ordered many things before from Woman Within but now will try to find something similar somewhere else.

    After returning a pair of pants to Woman Within, I began to question where my refund was. So I went to their website, logged in and looked at my account. I saw where they received my return on 7/3/15. I then contacted the company where I spoke via Live Chat to a representative. She informed me that the $17 I had spent had now become $5 because shipping via Fed Ex was deducted from the refund!!! I have never heard of this in my life! Consequently I will never buy anything from them again and would suggest to the other ladies out there that they don't waste their time or money.

    I ordered a swim tee and bike shorts from this company. When I placed the order both items said "in stock". My shorts arrived, but tee was backordered. I needed it before the arrival time. I went on Live Chat, and I asked for expedited shipping. She said the order can't be changed once in process. This isn't this first time it has happened. The clothes are overpriced for the quality. The only way you can afford it is if they have huge markdowns and you look for coupons at RetailMeNot. I will no longer be buying from them.
