    Unlike many large online sellers out there like Amazon, Wayfair seems to make it its duty to obstruct any return of its products. For an online seller, returns policy are essential because consumers do not have access to the physical product and thus must be given a way out. Instead Wayfair seems to take the approach of "since we now have your money we are under no obligation to answer any questions or help you out in any way."

    I tried returning a dresser and contacted two customer service reps who did nothing! Just assurances that it would be taken care of and to look for an email. I received no email, and I made sure that my email was correct, if only the Wayfair agents had made sure too. And instead of paying for return costs, Wayfair offers their "return service" which is quite frankly exorbitant and is half the cost of the product to begin with. So essentially, if I am unsatisfied with something at Wayfair I should just expect my money to be swallowed up like a black hole. They approach the situation like I should be lucky to get any money back at all! I will never ever shop at Wayfair ever again based on this treatment.

    Wayfair has the items that we wanted and at a good price. They have a good website that was easy to use and they got the table delivered. However, we were not able to seize the 10% off. I think they pay the market through the postal service when we moved and we got a 10% coupon, but it did not apply to the items that we wanted to order from them, which was a little disappointing. The items we ordered were from the same vendor and probably custom made furniture, which I think didn't qualify for some reason.

    Another bad experience with them was they outsourced delivery and putting together a furniture to a company called porch.com. The bed arrived a week and a half ago and it's still sitting in boxes because we haven't been able to get anyone to come put it together. We spent a lot of money on the bed and it's too complicated for us to put it together. Wayfair is not doing a very good job coordinating with their third parties if the service has been provided, or if it is completed and we're satisfied, instead, they sent a standard survey to us which is not a great follow through. They should know the status of the service as well and they need to work with their partner to tighten up that communication.

    I processed a return of 2 items via the Wayfair website and returned to the address provided by Wayfair, including the RA # on the box, as well as with a copy of the order slip inside the box. As requested, I provided the USPS tracking # to Wayfair, as I shipped on my own, since Wayfair wanted to deduct over $100 for their shipping costs -- from my $230 return. By the way, it was only $40 via USPS. So, first of all, $100 for shipping is outrageous.

    Now, here is the main problem I have with Wayfair... I shipped this package on June 27th. It was received by Wayfair on June 30th -- 3 days later. However, over a month later I did not receive my $230 credit. In fact, they kept telling me that the warehouse did not receive my package, and this was based solely on the fact that the tracking # I gave them was incorrect.

    Ummm, what about the RA# that was on the box, how about the packing slip that was included which listed my Order #, RA #, my name and address, etc. Regardless of whether the tracking # I provided was off by a few numbers, why wasn't the package entered as returned when it was received on June 30th. The tracking # was listed on the box, as well as all the other identifying information. Also, instead of the customer service agent simply going on the tracking # I provided, they could have researched a bit further to find the RA# they provided to me, and track it that way. In fact, the RA # was listed in the email thread. I am very disappointed with Wayfair. Rather than look into the matter and locate my package within their system, they would rather just reply, "Sorry, the tracking # you provided was incorrect, therefore we did not receive your package and will not issue credit."

    I have been out of town for the past 5 weeks and have been unable to view my USPS receipt and obtain the correct tracking #. I had to have a friend go to my home and send me a photo of the receipt. As suspected, the package was received (very timely in fact). I have since emailed Wayfair the correct tracking # and status from USPS indicating the package was received on June 30th. I expect an immediate $230 credit to my account.

    I have a feeling had I paid their outrageous $100 shipping charge, my return would have been processed immediately and my $130 credit applied timely. However, since I chose to ship at my own cost, interesting how my package was "not received" and since tracking # was off, they could not process return or credit. Poor customer service. Poor warehouse processing and communication. Overall, not pleased with this company and their returns process.

    Wayfair had the exact product with the right size we were looking for. It was a sturdy piece which is what we needed for its purposes. We didn’t see anything comparable and everything else would have been cheaper material. Its cost was high, but we were happy with the quality. The only thing that didn't work was when the particular piece I ordered wasn't in stock, I selected the alert-me-when-it’s-available and didn’t get an alert, though when I checked back, it was available. But it was easy to find everything we needed in their website.

    Nobody has given me an adequate explanation as to why the online description of the Nova Qwik barrister bookcase is indicating 10+ in stock with a ship date of Wednesday, August 3, 2016 when my item is on back order with a delivery date of September. This is deceptive advertising. I place my order for this item on July 30, 2016 and my e-mail confirmation indicated a shipping date of 08/02/2016. Asinine customer service rep who indicated human error. Human error is if I purchased the last one only to have the warehouse personnel discover a miscount. The government needs to shut this site down. And why the great reviews on this site? The reviews of Wayfair.com are generally abysmal.

    On 7/2/16 I ordered a sectional sofa at a great price. (Just a side note, the next day the item doubled in price on their website.) On the website, the item said it would ship in 2-3 weeks but after ordering I immediately received an email stating it would ship on 7/29 (almost 4 weeks). My daughter was moving into a new apartment and I gave her our old furniture on 7/30 in anticipation of our new furniture arriving. Yesterday I inquired about the shipping date (since I hadn't received an email saying it had shipped) and this morning I received a reply from Wayfair indicating that the item has been discontinued and they have cancelled my order. However, it is still listed on their website. I personally think they don't want to honor the price I found on their website but that's just my guess. I will never do business with them again!

    I liked Wayfair because I thought I could get stuff quicker. A lot of the stuff did arrive quickly, but it has been mostly good luck with the others that I ordered from them. I ordered a table three or four weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. But good news: they called earlier today and it’ll arrive on Friday (it must have gotten lost). Other than being on hold for forever, customer service has always been very helpful. I got some bar stools that were cut incorrectly so I couldn’t put them together but the customer service rep was good and had the other stuff sent out quickly.

    Waited many weeks for a very expensive bed to arrive. Once I received it and opened it up, found that it had been damaged in transit, which is understandable. All of the panels that formed the bed frame had been crushed. However, when I called in to request a replacement and for them to take back the damaged bed, every person that I spoke to gave me different details. Now, I am getting my money refunded, and I need to hang on to the damaged product for 3 weeks. If they don't contact me within those 3 weeks, I am responsible for donating/disposing of the furniture myself.

    I live in a tiny one bedroom, I have to keep a gigantic broken down bed in my living area that I waited over a month for that I need to keep for practically another month, and there's a chance that I have to incur cost to dump some damaged furniture that they sent me. I don't have a vehicle that can carry this. I will never be buying from them again. Not to mention the bed looked cheap in person, the white headboard was a totally different color from the white panels for the frame and for something that's over $2200 I wouldn't expect the leather to be held on by Velcro that refused to stick at the corners.

    I have purchased a lot of items through Wayfair and they have been very good about delivering products that were priced well and delivered in a reasonable amount of time. When I received damaged items, they were replaced. However, I recently purchased 2 larger planters that I have not yet received, and delivery has been delayed twice, waiting for stock. I was originally told the planters would be received by August 1, waiting for stock. Then when the planters were supposed to ship, this date was instead pushed back to September 7.

    When I inquired about my delayed order, I was told that the planter was oversold, so my delivery got bumped to the next shipment... while at the same time they were advertising on their website that the planter was available to ship and received by August 12. I was offered a 10% discount (credit) by Wayfair because of this delivery problem. I requested expedited delivery in lieu of the discount, but today I was informed that they credited my account 5%. Nothing I have been told by Wayfair has been accurate. They seem to be OK with taking my money for a product they know that they can't deliver. And if they don't know they can't deliver it... well, I don't know which is worse.

    I ordered patio furniture. 1 piece was damaged/bent. 4 months later we finally opened the last box. That chair was also damaged/bent. All I had to do is take a picture, email it to them, and both were replaced. I ordered a shed, only to find out the village would not allow us to put it up because it was too big. Wayfair took it back, no charge. No problem at all. I ordered a smaller one. This company is the greatest. They work with you. No hassle. I'd recommend Wayfair to anyone and everyone.

    I made a purchase on Wayfair and selected deferred interest for 12 months on my purchase. Once I received my second statement I saw that Comenity/Wayfair started charging interest. I called customer service and they contacted Wayfair and was told that I had chose a different promotion of $40.00 off instead of deferred interest for 12 months... on a purchase of $1,737.38 and I know I did not select the $40.00 off instead of the no interest promotion. I have contacted both companies. Both have spoken with me while on a conference call together and each time they state they will fix the issue. I later receive notice that I was denied and that I should contact each company separately. They keep bouncing me back and forth every time I call one or the other and neither will take responsibility.

    I have since opened a Federal complaint against Comenity and the FDIC found enough evidence to move forward. I have also seen on this ConsumerAffairs website that other people have had this problem. I have paid the credit card off as to no longer be charged the interest and Comenity has refunded a small portion but not the entire amount of the interest I paid. I will continue to proceed with further action against Comenity/Wayfair if they do not complete the full refund. I have been mislead and belittled by this company. I wish for a proper and complete apology and acknowledgment of THEIR mistake and for a complete refund of all interest paid and compensation for time lost.

    We ordered a buffet from AllModern.com/Wayfair.com that was delivered six weeks ago. While the buffet was intact, the metal legs that were shipped in another package were mangled. I don't mean that there were scratches or simple surface defects but that, in fact, the part was so damaged that the metal legs had actually twisted and snapped from some impact. Rather than the delivery team handling this appropriately and shipping a replacement part, they simply taped the box over several times so I couldn't see the damage on delivery. It was only after opening the box that I later noticed the blatant damage.

    I immediately contacted Wayfair's shipping department and spoke to a representative, Kelsey **. She assured me they'd replace the part quickly. It has now been over six weeks and the part has not been delivered. What makes matters worse is that I took off THREE DAYS from work to be home for the delivery, only to have them fail to show or reschedule on the day of the delivery. NOW, they deny that any such order exists or that they owe us any replacement, even though we have the order number that THEY provided in email (order #**). I'm not sure if they are intentionally deceitful or just lazy and stupid. Either way, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

    Furniture arrived damaged and failed to include (10) threaded inserts in the headboard required for assembly (these should have been pre-installed). Delivery specialist failed to return phone calls or emails in a timely fashion after our initial interaction. Incorrect replacement parts were delivered and they refused to take them back. The hardware I needed was never sent, with still no reply to my latest inquires. I eventually ordered the hardware on Amazon (after figuring out the correct part) and fixed it myself so my daughter could have a bed. They did provide a discount for the damage but I will never order from them again based on the poor customer service I experienced.

    I wish I could actually review my product but I have not received it yet. I placed my order on July 3rd and I was told it would be in my area to schedule delivery between July 14th and the 19th, and I should receive it on or before July 21st. When I didn't receive any notification on July 19th I called customer service and was told that my dinette set was in several packages and all of them could not be accounted for so there was a delay but it looked like that the package was in transit at that time. They also told me I would receive an update by July 22nd on when I could expect delivery. I ended up calling when I hadn't heard anything by 2 pm on July 22nd. At this time I was told that my package still wasn't accounted for so it was not in transit. The manager Sadie that I spoke with said that she could process a second order I guess to see which one would get to me faster.

    As of today online it says my original order is still waiting for replacement parts and the second order is in process but not shipped yet, expected to arrive August 9th. I then had to ask what could be done for my inconvenience. It was only then that the manager offered me a discount. I have never ordered from Wayfair before so this is a very frustrating first-time experience. I planned on having a house warming party that I needed the table for but that had to be postponed since I have no idea when I will receive my set. I just want what I ordered in a timely manner.

    The level of sheer incompetence at this place is unbelievable. After waiting for 3 months for some chairs to come back in stock, I ordered them. Two identical chairs (plus a third one that I decided to keep, after this debacle I would have returned it, especially when I found out a local store had them in stock, but they wanted to charge me $100 for return shipping... I digress). The chairs in question were priced $193.99 each, plus 8.75% sales tax, so each char is $210.96 for a grand total of $421.92. During check out, despite saying "free shipping" I noticed I was charged for shipping, so add $7.99 and we're at $429.91. I took a screenshot of the "Free Shipping" and called, the apologized and I got it refunded, only $7.99, but its the principle of it, it says free shipping, I want free shipping.

    One chair arrived damaged. I called to set up a return, seems easy enough. I was offered a replacement but we're moving abroad, don't have time, and the replacement chair had now gone up $75 in price. What?!? Return it is. Immediately I was refunded $202.96, not $210.96, with an email stating I would be refunded an additional $206.65 upon receipt of the return package. Did the cost of the chairs change overnight or the tax rate, because basic math dictates that $202.96+$206.65=$409.61 well short of $421.92. Let the phone calls and emails begin. It took no less than 10 phone calls, multiple online live chats, a dozen emails to sort anything out, and I'm still short money. No one responds with any sort of explanation, email replies are limited to "this is account has been fully refunded there is nothing more we can do..." how exactly is it fully refunded when it chair cost $210.96 and you're wanting to refund me $202.65 and $206.65?

    I was told at one point a specialist named John ** had been assigned to my account and given an email and direct phone number to call. John ** never once called me back and his email reply (one, one email, despite me sending 2-3 directly to him over a week period) was, "I see that we have refunded you $202.96 and $7.99. This account has a zero balance and is closed." I'm fairly certain he must be where they send the people who actually realize they are being swindled, with hopes we'll just give up and let them keep our money. I know it's only a few dollars but if this is happening to others it adds up, plus it's wrong, it is theft. Hopefully I made my last phone call today, but I've kept records of all conversations, emails, and chats. The customer service is lacking to say the least.

    And, when you ask to talk to someone in finance I actually was told "No one talks to finance (Victoria on 07/15)," is "finance" like the "Wizard of Oz"... given the refund process it's probably a bunch of toddlers with calculators so, yes, you literally cannot talk to finance. In addition to the customer service headache, the crappy packing job, damaged items and nightmare of a return process I will never buy from here again. Ever. Oh, did I mention when I set up the freight company to pick up the damaged items that they showed up on a random day, NOT the day I had scheduled, I just happened to be walking down the street to see them. Never again. I'll stick to shopping local.

I have several emails from them stating the refund was processed but have not received the funds even though they have my merchandise in their possession. Beware of buying from this company. They are not true to their word and will string you along.

    I purchased a queen size bed frame, 2 nightstands, a dresser, a sleeper sofa and a chaise lounge to match the sofa. The nightstand and dresser drawers have all broken. The material is SO cheaply made, it's paper-like almost. The things that are inside the drawers are not that heavy: underwear, socks, face cream, chapstick, few papers. The only reason I opted to order less expensive products is because our last bedroom set was so expensive that my husband and I felt we HAD to keep it for a long time in order to justify what we'd paid for it. Same story with our leather sectional sofa. We kept it for 10 years because of the price we'd paid. When we finally decided that we had enough of seeing both for so many years, we called The Salvation Army to pick up our old items, which they gladly took as all the pieces were real, heavy wood.

    Our thinking was that getting a bedroom set for under $1000 as opposed to $10,000 for our previous one, would make our decision of replacing it if/when we got tired or bored with it, would be easier, that we would not have to commit to a particular look for as many years as we did before. We never thought, however, about these pieces not being functional past 2-3 months of owning them. There is ABSOLUTELY NO QUALITY to the furniture we got from Wayfair so I can't really say that they are made of bad quality, as that would imply that THERE IS some quality to them!!! We reluctantly purchased a dresser from IKEA for one of our kids' rooms thinking that it would not stand the "child test". Kids are not as careful with furniture as us adults are, however, that dresser is INTACT. I am SO dissatisfied with Wayfair products. I really hope people read this review before ordering anything with drawers!!!

    The bed creaks really loud just by us turning from side to the other. One of the corners of the chaise lounge became loose as one of my kids rubbed too close to it!!! The worst part is that I opened a Wayfair credit card and opted to take advantage of their one-year, interest-free financing so we are still paying for them and are not able to use them. My husband's and my personal items are currently sitting on top of the dresser and nightstands. I will be closing the Wayfair account and NEVER, EVER again order ANYTHING from Wayfair.

    We're watching a TV show about house-fixing then went to Wayfair website to check their items. It's easy to navigate their website and easy to shop because they had everything. Their customer service representatives were all very nice too. But when one receives the item, it's a little bit different from the picture in their website. Also, they should have more details and updates of their items because some of the collection we were looking for were out of stock and that they don't have the size we needed. We ordered a lot of the painting pictures and there were no details on their exact sizes so it’s hard to see how big it is to fit our wall.

    I placed an order for a TV stand and the very next day (a few hours really since placing the order), the price dropped. I then wrote Wayfair with all the information, requesting a refund for the difference. The product had not even shipped yet. They say it takes them 8 business hours to reply. It took them over 2 business days (in fact they wrote me on a Sunday?!) and anyway, now they bumped the price up again and said that they will refund the item IF the product costs less when I receive it.

    I want my refund now. I have already paid for it and the product has already been shipped. I should not have to wait. This is ridiculous. This is just not good business and they are being dishonest. I constantly shop online for furniture and have never seen this.     I ordered a recliner off Clearance. They sent me the wrong one. It was a completely different model, color, only 3 legs, slightly used. How a business thinks it's OK to send this out. I'll never understand. Contacted them to come get this one and send me what I ordered. They refused because I bought mine on clearance, and now the product is back up to its regular price. The best they could do was ask me to pay twice the amount I originally paid for the same chair. I understand mistakes happen, but to have such a lack of QA and also a Customer Service department with no desire to make things right.

    I would question anyone ordering from here to not assume the product you ordered will actually be in the box when it comes. I have had outstanding customer service from every other place I frequently order from. Amazon, StubHub, Overstock, QVC. Why this company does not believe in the same principles to make sure the customer gets their product... who knows?

    Last year I purchased multiple items from Wayfair, unfortunately in one big order, including a full sized bed, mattress, desk, bookshelf, TV stand, and a chair. Every item excluding the mattress has disintegrated on its own and has become completely useless and a safety hazard. The bed, it was wobbly from the start and I even had to request a part for it. Wayfair sent the part. However the bed was made of poor material and after 7 months of use different parts broke including the slates. It remained wobbly the whole time until I got rid of it. Once a guest gently sat on the bed while I was getting ready then the slates broke and she almost fell.

    The bookshelf looked nice until I put some books in it. It became wobbly too! The shelves began to bend and the whole thing became tilted. Now I'm worried about it falling to the side so that's gotta go too! The TV stand was quite an expensive one. The stand was supposed to hold a 65" TV mounted to it. But the metal bent and I decided to not mount the TV. The chair I got is comfortable and looks nice. But both armrests are falling off and you can fall over easily! The other day a screw fell off, I couldn't tell if it belonged to the bed or the chair!!

    I spent over $2000 at Wayfair.com and everything I bought has just been a disaster. The unfortunate thing is you won't realize this until it's too late. You buy something like a bed, spend hours to assemble it properly but the parts are too fragile to hold any weight. All the items I bought had 4 or 5 stars on Wayfair, so either the reviews were fake or others were swindled too. Wayfair items may look nice on the site but they will NEVER be half as good in your home. Matter of fact, items I've purchased from IKEA have outlasted everything sold by Wayfair for a much better price.

    The operator that I spoke was pleasant enough. My issue is with an order I placed last night and less than 12 hours later, got an email saying that the price dropped almost $20. I can't cancel my order and re-order it. I can't get a refund or even a credit for the price difference (I do want that rug and don't want to actually cancel it altogether). This experience is like instant buyer's remorse. And it's only amplified by the fact that I have been debating on this purchase for a couple of weeks. Given that I have never actually ordered from Wayfair before and am not familiar with their system, I was hesitant to make such a big purchase from an unfamiliar online retailer. When I finally pull the trigger, this happens.

    This is a terrible, terrible shopping experience. And it's unfortunate, because I have a whole house to furnish and was actually looking to purchase a good deal of other items off of the website (I have curtains in my current cart!), but after this experience, not only will I never purchase anything from this site again, regardless of how good a deal I might think it is (because who knows what the price will be in 5 hours), but I will actively tell my friends and everyone in my network to never order anything from Wayfair because of this extremely terrible and infuriating experience I have just had. I am looking forward to receiving my rug and am otherwise happy that it is scheduled to arrive ahead of schedule (presumably since the shipping date in the confirmation email was set for July 27th but it's apparently been shipped out already today on the 22nd!).

    I purchased two bunk beds for my children on Wayfair.com. Unfortunately Wayfair chose not to honor the price listed on their website because they decided it was too low several days after I placed my order. They refused to send me the bunk beds even though I had paid the listed price ($155) on their site. They gave me a refund and a one-time 15% off coupon code, but they had removed the beds I ordered from the site and all of their other bunk beds are very overpriced in my opinion.

    Then the next day, they sent me two sets of slats that go under a bunk bed mattress. What good does that do me when my kids have to sleep on the floor? They told me I could donate them. They wouldn't even pay for return shipping to get them back. I will not order from them again. Their customer service emails were rude and condescending and their deceptive pricing tactics are unacceptable. I believe this was a bait and switch tactic... but this for a low price which we will then choose not to honor, but here's a coupon to buy something much more expensive instead.

    This is the second time in a row we have had problems getting the product we ordered to our home. First time we ordered a pergola. They shipped us the wrong color. We informed them of the mistake and they sent another, wrong color again. By now several weeks have gone by and they said my color would be back ordered 3 weeks. So we asked for a refund. After several calls to Wayfair and carrier I was told by carrier my furniture will be delivered Saturday. I am not holding my breath. This time Wayfair did nothing to help and work with carrier and no restitution.

    Meantime my old furniture was donated to charity, they showed up exactly at the time we agreed upon which was the day after my new furniture was to be delivered. At the present time I am sitting with my TV, pictures and other belongings on my family room floor. To echo what another customer said "I do not mind waiting just don't promise me a delivery date and then fail to deliver." They screwed with my life twice, I am not likely to give them another shot.

    My experience with Wayfair has been horrendous. I had placed an order through Walmart for a Tile Redi Bench Shower Seat. It was dropped outside my house without an intimation. After my contractor checked the size he advised to go only with the shower as the there was not enough space to install the bench. I checked with Wayfair if I could return the bench alone and they said it has to be returned together. For return they were charging me about $260.00 so I used FedEx and shipped them back giving the details of the carrier, tracking number and the ship date.

    They confirmed in the email that once they receive the product in their warehouse they will refund within 3-5 business days. They received the product on 7/7/16. When I sent them an email for refund they said they need to get a confirmation which takes at least 3-5 business days. After going back and forth several times they stopped responding to email also, then I had to call Walmart to intervene and they helped me in resolving it. Today they confirmed that it will be refunded within 3-5 business days. I have to wait and see... Do not order from them, as they are unorganized and unprofessional. I spent a lot of money with this company, never again.

    My media chest was scheduled to be delivered on 7/13. I left work to meet the delivery guys who came into my home and one said they would scar up my walls with the box. I informed him if it wasn't too bad I would be ok with it. I paid extra to have it delivered upstairs to my bedroom. The first guy asked me if I could get my husband to bring it upstairs because it was very heavy. I told him there was no husband. He then attempted to bring it upstairs with his peer and was unable to get it to the 2nd staircase. He then told me that I needed to find four guys to bring it up. I told him I did not know 4 guys. He offered to leave it at the landing in case I found someone and I declined. He contacted his boss who stated they do not send 4 guys for delivery.

    I contacted Wayfair and was told that they would try to find 4 guys to make the delivery and would contact me back within 1 business day. I did not hear from them so I contacted Wayfair and left a message. I then contacted the delivery company on Tue and was told that there was a redelivery scheduled for Fri (I'm thinking they have the 4 guys). The next day I get a call from Wayfair saying they can do a transitional delivery (they will leave it in my doorway). What?!! I again declined and asked them to return it. I then called the actual delivery company to make sure they were not going to make an attempt to deliver and was told that there was never a delivery date set up. This has been the worst experience ever!!!

    I had an order to return to Wayfair with a fed ex prepaid pick up label. FED EX was to have picked it up on friday from 11-2 pm... I called our local office in milwaukee and talked to kaylee and tyler and dan, and made sure it was to be picked up at 8:30 in the am. When I got an email from Wayfair Holly **, a supervisor there who said it would be picked up between 11-2 pm, it was never picked up. I was told by fed ex they were here but I was home all day and they had the wrong apartment no... and said they called me. It never showed on caller ID and neither did the entry panel security code they needed to use if they were here.

    Now I am leaving on vacation, I am disabled and really disappointed with FED EX and WAYFAIR all for a $20 credit on night lights that said they were red when all they had was a red panel with a white light behind it and showed up as white light... Not good for sleeping conditions. I will never use Wayfair again nor will I use FED EX for shipping... USPS and UPS are still the best by far...

    UPDATED ON 07/16/2016: This is my 2nd review after writing the first one. I had to go and pick up prescriptions at Walgreens less than a mile from my home, when I was told by FedEx that my pkg that Wayfair had a Pick up call number for a return, would not be picked up today as the driver went home at 2 pm by Dan at the local FedEx ground station. I just happened to run into Jeff and he told me a whole new story. He said he was here, called my home phone and it just rang. Ironic because I was home all day until 5:30 to get my rx's after being told that my pick up would be done tomorrow. Ironically Jeff had the call tag for my pick up. He said he just walked into a secure lobby without ringing my apt no. so I know he is here to let him in, said someone let him in which they are not to do. I had a huge note on my door saying “FedEx knock loudly please.” As if I am in another room I may not hear the knock unless they pound on the door. It's a large apt.

    I was sitting at the table writing out bills when he showed me he called once (not twice, and not here). I ran my bills to the mail box and if he had been here we would have had to pass in the hall as I am 40 ft from the mail room and on 1st floor. I am so angry about being lied to by FedEx, then calling Wayfair to let them know what happened the girl, a manager does not take down the notes right. I told her I gave him the pkg when I saw him at Walgreens. He said he would wait for me to go a mile home and back. He scanned the pkg in. Said it was coming back to me??? He said he was new too and did not go home. Wayfair manager said I did not tell her I gave him the pkg but said he scanned it in. Well how did he get the pkg to scan it in if I did not tell her I gave it to him? She did not listen and was not nice at all.

    I am done dealing with Wayfair and FEDEX as a shipper. Unless someone uses them to ship to me, I will never use them after all the lies I was told and Jeff looked at me and said "they told you I went home at 2 pm" and I said yes and he said, “Here is my cell, it shows I called you at 1:39.” But never arrived here and no door tag was left either although says it was and says I was not home when I was. I am so sick of all the lies. It is not funny... With both companies. USE UPS OR USPS if you want good service.

    We ordered 5 items and have 4 and refused delivery on #5 (a couch) because all previous 4 items were such disasters! We ordered 2 mattress pads - the king fit but caused allergies for my husband with some chemical that was in it. The queen was a square - not rectangular like a queen bed is so it is useless; the jersey sheets were so thin I did not trust them to last even one night; the orange chair looked rust on the website but came bright orange. At that point the only item was the couch and with all the previous experiences, I refused the delivery not wanting to take a chance on color or quality.     As a first buyer of Wayfair.com, I decided to give a try and purchased 2 counter stools that were in the good sale price. I received instantly an email confirmation after placing an order. In that confirmation email is detailed described order July 10, shipping Jul 12 and arrival day is Jul 14, 2016, and as today is July 14, nothing has arrived. I contact via chat Wayfair.com customer service on Jul 13 because in my account had a discrepancy in my shipping information saying Jul 12 arrival date. I thought it would happen to be here earlier but her response was arriving on July 14. Again, nothing. So I called customer service today. First, she didn't know my order. She could see all the other order but not this one. I have to log in and find out that my order arrival time would be Jul 15, plus providing the info to her. It is upsetting when misleading becomes a confusion, and affecting people lives as well. We have obligations and things to do.

    I don't mind waiting for any orders. What I do mind is to be promised something to the consumer that they cannot comply. I wasn't treated as I expected as the company is so big in terms of marketing and huge in sales. I bet if I was from famous home channels or magazines they would definitely treat me with more respect and more appreciation. When you spent minimal $80 sale isn't as the big deal for them so we get classify to be treated which way? I believe customer service should be retrained, and the background noises to be cut off. When I am on the phone I make sure is quiet and we can discuss the matter. When you hear people laughing in the background it makes me feel like is more a prank calling than a real customer service department. Talking to the lady on the phone was more talking to the wall. I didn't see her have empathy to the consumer and not having the ability to address the situation.

    When a company tells in a paper that arriving July 14 they do have to comply with that. Now if the shipping company and the Wayfair have different agreements is not any consumer’s faulty. I am not happy with first purchase experience to deal with a business who doesn't know how to address situations like this. The worst of all is when the problem is just beyond the customer service to address because she is powerless in such a situation, and she tried to bribe me to accept 10% discount to resolve this inconvenience. It just makes worst. I don't want anything I want to the company not treat people like this. It is an easy solution, for a simple problem. Please don't promise consumers arrival time if you cannot achieve that. Has a lot of companies that people work for that has zero tolerance for taking days off for a simple package.

    We moved to a house and we needed to completely furnish it, so I tried to find the best price, free shipping and delivery.     Ordered a Blue Rhino Uniflame Charcoal Grill as a gift for my boyfriend, however, the order got cancelled without providing any concrete reason. I thought it's a system issue, then I made another identical order, it got cancelled AGAIN. Called customer service several times and had all my payment information verified over the phone, finally they told me that my account has been flagged for fraud protection purpose. The best they could do was nothing but asked me to ship the item to my own place and have my boyfriend to pick up.

    Wayfair provide no acceptable offer to resolve the dispute, they flag me without appropriate validation. Normally, when billing address and shipping address are different in an order, a good practice is to invite customer to provide further information for Fraud verification, rather than just internally flag the customer, cancel the order, and provide no estimated time for resolution. Wayfair did a good job in frustrating its client.

After the 2nd bill came (obviously there is not interest of the 1st bill), I noticed I was being charged interest. I am still awaiting a resolution.     My experience with Wayfair has been horrendous. I've placed 3 separate orders and there have been major problems with each one. I ordered 3 custom Double-Piped Outdoor Sunbrella Bench Cushions. Double Piped is literally in the name of the item and the specifications describe the type and color of piping. They arrived with no piping whatsoever and the customer service agent I spoke with told me that the description must be wrong and that these cushions must not actually have piping. They have offered to send replacements, but it's not clear that they will be any different than the first set since the agent told me again and again that it's just the description that is wrong.

    I ordered an outdoor rug which was in stock at the time of order. I received two separate emails a week apart indicating "Congratulations! Your item has been picked up by the carrier and you will receive shipping information within 24 hours." Each with a new, delayed delivery date (several weeks after initial delivery date). No shipping information ever arrived. I contacted customer service and it took several emails, online chats and a phone call to find out that all the info I had received was wrong.

    Initially was told the item was back ordered, then that the emails were coming directly from the manufacturer in error and finally that they would waive the cost to expedite the order. I did end up getting the rug just 4 days after the expected date but not without a lot of hassle. I ordered a quilt and shams in the same order. Shams arrived as expected. My order for the quilt, which is in stock and supposed to be shipped within 24 hours still says that it's being prepared for shipping 4 days after the order with an expected arrive date TWO YEARS from now. That's right, 2018.

    I really can't express my gratitude enough for the prompt actions that were taken with my call today. I started with this call just picturing me being stuck with an unfinished, scratched and scuffed up end table... only to find someone on the other end of the phone that could not have been more helpful.     Wayfair has free shipping. Their cost is sometimes less but reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the furniture. It was even better than what I expected. Everything was all available and that was great. The ordering was relatively easy. The only problem was online, they showed the mirror on the dresser, but when I tried to order the mirror, I couldn't find it mirror anywhere. I sent an email to customer service and they responded quickly. They said that they didn't have the mirror but they would arrange to get it and told me what numbers and codes to use when I actually made my order so that the mirror would be included. It all worked out great. I couldn't place my order online because I had to call and actually speak with someone and give them the particular order number. But that was not a problem. The person took the information and he immediately located what I was talking about. It sounded like they all had their act together.

    However, I find the website misleading because it says shipping is three days. I thought it meant it was going to be here in three days. So I waited and delayed ordering because we were having a remodel and I was afraid the furniture would get here before it was finished which I didn't want to happen, so I waited. Well, it took three weeks for the order to process, and then it's three days to ship. I wish there was some way on their website indicated that the processing may take three weeks and that it just ships in about three days after the process of actually ordering.

    During the delivery the delivery people pointed out to me that the headboard of the bedroom furniture was damaged. I called Wayfair customer service while the delivery team were still here. The lady that I spoke with was very helpful and understanding. She helped me get replacement and told me what to do with the old one. It was all positive. I found them cooperative and wanting to make sure the customer was satisfied.

    I called customer service to let them know that one of the crystals from my new chandelier was missing and one was broken.     Wayfair had the cheapest price. The cost was initially less and the availability was not very good. The price has also changed since I bought a hot tub. Even though I still haven't gotten it, the price is now $500 less at another website. It was a month ago and I haven't heard anything from them, and I had to call them to find out why it is taking so long and if they were gonna ship it out anytime soon. They were very friendly, professional and English seemed to be their primary language which is a highly important skill. I felt like my insurance was addressed. The website was pretty slow to respond at a couple of times, but other than that, we really enjoy the customer service.

    I seen a Sectional set I was interested buying. I email to confirm that it was the entire sectional, not just one piece. They replied, "Yes. This is sectional with 4 seats, 4 pieces, not just one, for the $... price". I then called and confirmed on a recorded call. I then received an e-mailed quote stating this and the price. I then went to order, but they couldn't find one piece so they wanted to contact the warehouse. I said ok. Then I go to pay and they say, "Never mind, we cannot honor that quote, nor do we honor any pricing on our website". I ask to speak to a manager.     Tried to order early in April. Computer said available and then not. And when discussed on phone not able to order and have shipped when it arrived. Finally able to order 4/29 with a delivery 5/5. When it was put together one chair arm wouldn't accept the bolts. I called 5/9 and talked to TINA and explained and she said she would get the piece there by the 16th so could be enjoyed by company. Then received an email changing the date.

    Discussed this with ASHLEY and SHE WAS NOT HELPFUL AND PRETTY RUDE. Said she would send me a 10% coupon off and I said I already had several in my mailbox but why would I want to use when company doesn't fix the problem in the first place. No compensation was offered for the issues having. Finally the piece came 6/17 and had shipped wrong side despite my having described it to Tina. I talked to KIM on 6/18 and we finally received the correct piece on June 23. Kim was very helpful. Based on waiting so long and poor interaction with Ashley I have been telling everyone NOT TO BUY Wayfair.

    We ordered our product, Gel-L Side chairs, on June 9th. They were originally supposed to arrive at the local delivery partner June 27-June 30. On June 15th, we had received an email that they had been shipped. I just tracked our package and now discovered that the chairs were not shipped until this week. They had been sitting at the Consolidation Agent June 10-June 30. The estimated arrival date in our local area of our chairs is now July 14-19. We changed vacation plans so that we would be here when they arrived!! I am VERY upset about this and plan to share this news. I feel that this is extremely poor business practice. Shipment should not take over a month. Misleading customers is not a very good company policy and I would urge all who read this to really consider if they want to do business with Wayfair.

    Wayfair you have our money but we don't have a table. What's "fair" about that? Item took several weeks to arrive only after a call to management in which they expedited shipping. Table top arrived warped, nicked, scraped and broken. Management said a replacement would be sent. Only to find out it would be a month before it was shipped. They said they've done all they can. So when all is said and done it would be over two months before we have a functioning table. I will give my business to Amazon. Products arrive on time and if they need to replaced we have them replaced very quickly. They also compensate customers for bad experiences. Wayfair's team simply says sorry. Again, Wayfair you have our money but we don't have a table. What's "fair" about that?

    I ordered a desk. The first one arrived damaged. The second (top only) arrived but it was the wrong color. I spent too much time on emails and the phone trying to get it figured out. One day I was being sent a desk for no cost and the next day that offer was taken back and I was offered a 10% off. I had to "fight" for 25% off which was ridiculous - especially after being told I was not going to be charged! Given the time it took to take care of this plus the fact I have to discard of the desks and packaging, I should have not been charged at all.     I ordered a panel room divider on June 9. I received an email saying it would ship that day and arrive on June 13. A few days ago, after returning from an out of state trip, I noticed it had not arrived. I looked up the tracking information and it said it had been picked up and would be delivered June 16. Well, June 16 was long gone so I called your company. It appears my order was completely forgotten. After some time on hold I was told that there were now none in stock and I would have to wait three weeks. The whole point of buying it was to put it outside on sunny mornings to be able to sit in the shade on our patio. In three weeks summer will be more than half over.     The order process was terrible. After I placed my order for the vanity sink, for some reason the faucet I selected didn't go through. I called customer service and they manually put in the faucets into my order. Then they shipped the vanity and faucet separately to the delivery company. When I got the vanity sink delivered, they did not include the faucets. It took me many phone calls to only find out the faucets got lost in delivery. I was getting different stories from the delivery company. At one point, I was told they had my faucet in their Linden, NJ warehouse and said I can go pick it up. So I drove 45 minutes there and took half a vacation day from work.

    After I got there, they told me they didn't have it. I then spoke to a Wayfair rep. and she helped me order replacement faucets instead. When I got the faucet delivered, it turned out they only sent one and not two. So I had to call back to get the second faucet ordered. It just seems to me that the people in the Wayfair shipping dept. need to be more careful. They should have shipped my original faucets with the vanity sink to avoid any issues. Second, when they shipped my replacement faucet, they only sent one and not two. I am also upset at the delivery company that Wayfair uses in Linden, NJ. They kept giving me different answers and no one takes any responsibility there.

    To make a long story short, ordered first table in March. Was told I would have it in May. May came and was told June. June came and was told July... I cancelled and ordered another table. First table came damaged. They sent out replacement and when they came they were the wrong pieces. Was told to keep table or throw it away. Second table came and it was the wrong color again. Told to keep or throw away. Last table came and corner was chipped. At this point I was over it. Hired a carpenter to make a table out of pieces that weren't damaged. Call Wayfair to see if they would give me something back for all my trouble. Took a 100 something off... Will never purchase from again and will tell everyone I know about this. The carpenter cost more than the amount they discounted.

    I was given a delivery window. Called again the day of to let me know they were supposed to be a half hour away. By the time the sofa arrived they were over an hour and a half late. I called WayFair while waiting for them and they told me they have been calling the drivers and they are not picking up, and that they didn't know where my furniture was or if I could expect a delivery. I was told I would be called if they could get a hold of the truck. When they arrived they did not apologize for being late and proceeded to scrape and drag the sofa through my front door (my landlord is watching this happen with horror).

    They bring it into my apartment (but not even where I told them to put it). I ask if I could just open it quickly to inspect before I accept delivery. They tell me they are not associated with WayFair and that they are "like UPS, they just deliver." Then they told me that they needed me to sign quickly as they had more deliveries to make. I asked them if they knew that the company said they hadn't been answering their calls and they were a half hour late. "We're like ups, we don't have anything to do with that." So that was that. Sofa looks great, but the experience with delivery was poor.
