I ordered stationary from Vistaprint.com and noticed something wrong with my checking account about a week later. I used my debit card to purchase and was enrolled in their "affiliate" programs VPRewards and Shopping Essentials. I called that day and was told the same thing, cancelled membership and no refunds. I could not get a hold of anyone quick enough. Since I contacted my bank right away he said to try to deal with the company first then they would help if needed. It has taken almost a month for me to get a call back from the company who says they will not be responsible for even half of my overdraft charges. I am now out $682 in overdraft fees as wells as 3 weeks of missed work, long distance calls, faxes, letters, phone calls, and emails. Not to mention what work my bank has put into this.

I, too, just realized I have been ripped off by VistaPrint. I never had a problem with their merchandise in the past but I made the mistake of clicking on the popup that offered me $10 off my next order. I realized what it was and closed the window, but they used my credit card info anyway.

I didnt have enough to cover their $14.95 monthly charge in my debit account when they tried the first time, so they waited....till a couple weeks ago when I put money in my account. I just got charged for THREE MONTHS of a membership I never authorized....nearly FORTY FIVE DOLLARS! I am SO angry! I see from reading other complaints that my chances of getting that money back is slim to none. I have ordered a NEW debut card so they withdraw another penny from my account. And I will NEVER order ANYTHING from VistaPrint again!

I just realized the Business Max and Passport to Fun rip offs on my Master Card. I even have STOCK in Vistaprint - I ordered my Stock broker to sell today. I called Customer SErvice they told me I would get my money back but the stop on this would take a week. I called their legal department in Massachusetts with no reply. I am writing a letter to the SEC, WALL STREET JOURNAL AND NYTIMES - telling people to avoid this website or they will be tricked like I was. I also never received my $10 discounts but monthly charges going back months.

I had recommended this company to other people - I'm horrified. I know realize they ripped me off for $100's of dollars with these small charges. This should be a class action suit.

Purchased Business Cards in June 2006,paid for them with discovercard, they have been charging me 14.95 every month since then for a membership to VP rewards that I never authorized. Apparently the pop up window that asked if I wanted to save another $10 on my order was a mechanism designed to rip me off (even though I closed it upon seeing that they wanted me to participate in other offers.) No I did not receive another $10 off my order either...

14.95 a month, discovercard tells me I have to deal with Vista print who has a terrible track record of resolving disputes like this based on info I can find. Not impressed with the fact that this charge cannot be stopped at discover cards end, so much for taking care of the consumer.

I have had several experiences with Vista Print. First let me share about how I believe they can afford to give you FREE cards. I ordered cards for a network group that I run. It's the ONLY time I have used my home address information with the network name. Since my order, I receive numerous credit card offers and other mailings addressed to the network at my home. I received a phonecall the other day from someone confirming my HOME phone number for an internet business listing for this group. I told them that it was not correct, that we do not advertise that way.

Which time? First experience was ok. My cards came and they were ok. I went to reorder and the next order came in a totally different color. They said it was because I made changes but they were the same cards. They refused to reprint correctly, saying I'd get a discount which I've never seen. For my flyers, which cost a couple hundred dollars, they came a week late though I paid to get them early and they came cut incorrectly with a white area across the bottom which doesn't look professional. Then I went to the website to look for a possible email and there aren't any. There are only rude, mean customer service people telling you you are stupid for doing something wrong even though it looks right on the screen. I am a graphic designer, I know how to do CMYK and set up a flyer for printing. I don't know how to deal with these people.

I had ordered free business cards from vistaprint.com in the past and was happy. I am about to move, so I went to order new cards and went with a design they charge for this time. They also had an offer of 100 post cards for free, if you paid shipping and handling, that I took them up on. I upgraded to priority shipping. The preview screen quoted me a price of about $17. After I submitted my order, I was charged for almost $40. The business cards were more than I was quoted, and suddenly the postcards weren't free. I called their customer service line and no one was available. I clicked a link to email them and was taken back to the same screen with no way to contact them. I then called my bank to start the process of disputing the charge. Now I've googled and found a lot of people continue being charged for things they did not want. I will be calling my bank again to request a new card.

Just the stress of having to put up with something so stupid and not knowing how much more they're going to charge me. The time and hassle of having to make phone calls and fill out paperwork and fax things over what should have been a simple order. I'm finally moving into a house and I'm being very tight with money right now. I never would have purchased these products at these prices. I was going to purchase Halloween costumes for my daughters today, but that will have to be postponed.

Terrible Customer Service! I have ordered about 6 times from this vendor. This particular order had three sets of business cards ordered in August. Since I had ordered no rush I expected them about mid September. When I didn't get them, I tracked my shipment only to discover that DHL sent it back, because the suite number wasn't on the label. There are about four stores in our strip mall...how hard can it be!! Anyway, when I called today (end of September) I was told that since I didn't have the suite number on my shipment, they weren't responsible, but would charge to replace the cards! I was so upset I told them they could continue to have my business if they sent me the cards..the operator told me that it was my fault and he was meeting me more than half way by discounting the cards. Forget it, I'll go down the street to my local printer where they believe in keeping your business.

I didn't trust Vista Print since they have already contacted me. I got a call the next day from Vista Print regarding my BBB complaint saying that they would cancel and refund my money right away. I know better than to agree to things like that, so I feel they must have snuck it in their agreement somehow. I discovered 2 unauthorized charges of $14.95; one was on June 20, 2006, the 2nd was today, July 20, 2006. I called the 888# above which my bank referenced with the charge, spoke to Michael, ID#9571. He said the charges were for membership in Passport to Fun. I had never heard of nor subscribed for such services. I have ordered business cards several times from Vistaprint, and they have my ATM Mastercard information on file. When I called and complained, Michael said they are getting so many complaints that they are automatically refunding all complainants' monies.

I then called my bank, Citibank, and registered a complain with them. Citibank took my complaint and is mailing me a form to complete to make sure I get my refund. When I went to the Consumer Affairs website, I find that apparently Vistaprint scammed an unknown number of people in the same way. I believe this should be treated as a class action lawsuit against Vistaprint to insure that they never again commit such fraud. This could involve hundreds or thousands of people who don't scrutinize their bank activity as I do. I believe Vistaprint should be ordered by a court to refund all such monies and pay substantial damages to all persons harmed by this action.

I have had a weird $12 charge on my credit card for the last year from Passport to Fun and assumed it was something my husband was buying at the store because it showed up as a purchase. When I investigated it was a Passport to Fun membership which was being auto debited from my account. When I googled their name and got their number - I called to complain and cancel was told it was part of a Vistaprint promotion.

Apparently when I orded business cards last May I checked get $10 discount that had a hyperlink that I didn't even see to read it's details - it was signing me up for this Passport to Fun membership and authorizing them to give my cc details to their affiliates. Passport to fun sent one Welcome email that did not say a WORD about billing. They never sent one coupon like they claim to do. They deliberately prey on people who don't see their charges - and stay very quiet and unnoticeable. Vistaprint, wholely blamed me for not emailing - but admitted they no longer had any record or details posted on their site about this promotion - OR a copy of the details I was supposed to read.

Aside from this nasty little scam, they send TONS of junk mail - both to email and physical address - and despite trying to unsubscribe they never stop. I have DEMANDED that all my information be taken off their database - but I have my doubts about this happening. Don't be fooled by their glossy prints (which I was happy with).

I ordered business cards from Vistaprint about a month ago. When I was finished and tried to check out a pop-up screen came up with an ad from another company. I tried to close it, but it would not let me close it. I didn't know if my order went through because I had to close the browser to get rid of the screen. So I called them to find out if the order went through because I spent a good hour or so doing the cards. They found my order after a while but couldn't explain the pop-up.

Well after that I started to get tons of email from different companies, I got so much i had to change my email address. But last week i checked my old one just in case and found something stating I had joined this membership company called Business Max, or Deal Pass. I still have that email, but it states that I will be billed for my membership. I never gave them credit card info, or gave permission to Vistaprint to give out that information. I have sent several emails to both companies, and called. Nobody has contacted me from either. I did a search for complaints, and found plenty. I hope people take the time to check these things, because I didn't. I took the recomendation without checking and now I have headaches.

If they charge this particular card i could be fired, I had permission to use it only to obtain this purchase, it is my companies card. I know I never authorized this, I have no use for the savings. I just move 900 miles away with my children. If I get fired, I know no-one out here, I don't know what I will do. I can't even get a straight answer from these people. I won't know until the statement comes in. If this is legal, it shouldn't be. As far as i'm concerned it is fraud. Why are they getting away with this in this country.Look at all the complaints. I don't want to sound desperate, but if this turns out to be true I will definately be fired for incompitance, and I swear I did not knowingly give them permission to do this. I hope in the least this prvents other people from having this happen. If you happen to check this out you will see at the end of the order. And then you get sent so much junk mail you don't notice it.

I ordered address labels and the idiots didn't even print them according to their own stock picture they use! The name/address/zip codes are printed in white and are supposed to have a RED background. The shell picture on the right is supposed to take up 30-40% of the address label. Instead, the shell picture takes up 90% of the label, leaving 10% of red to print all the details on. So, the white address details were printed on top of the WHITE sea shells. End result being, I can't read the address! Duh!

So I phoned to request a replacement, only to be transferred to an Jamaican call center. After explaining my story, the lady hung up the phone! So, I wrote an email to their "customer complaint" only to receive an automatic reply stating that all concerns had to be issued over the phone. WHAT??? So I phoned their stupid Jamaican call center back and asked for the corporate head office number. I called and when you hit "operator" or "customer service", you're told to call the same 1-800 number that transfers you to JAMAICA! Yep, they are virtually running their customers in a circle ON PURPOSE!

So, I've just informed my bank to dispute the charge. Lucky for me, my bank and I have a RELATIONSHIP - something that VISTAPRINT has NO concept of. We received an email ad from Vistaprint, offering great prices for business cards on-line. Since we are a small, start-up company in need of business cards, we thought we'd try their service. I went through the whole process of setting up an account, uploaded our logo and created business cards for someone in my company. As soon as I clicked on the order cards button, a pop-up window appeared offering me 20% off my order if I just completed a brief survey. I am very busy and did not have the time, so I just closed the pop-up window by clicking the X at the top and proceeded with my order. Everything seemed fine.

Today, I downloaded my company American Express activity report on-line and found a charge of $12.95 from some company called BusinessMax. I had no idea who they were nor remembered ever doing business with them. I called the 888 phone # that appeared on my statement, and the automated message only allows you to put in your account # (which I do not have because I never signed up for one). I searched on-line and found a website for a legitimate company called Business Max, www.businessmax.com. But when I looked at their website, there was a link right at the top of their site saying, "Please click here for info re: credit card charges by the other Business Max." I did just that and the next page contains information about the fraudulent company also going by the name Business Max, along with testimonials by other consumers who had been ripped off as well as what they did to have the recurring charges removed.

I think it's pretty sad that a legitimate company has to waste room on their website to protect themselves from being mistaken for a deceitful company!! One of the testimonials explains that apparently there is very small writing at the bottom of that pop-up window saying if you click anywhere in the window, you agree to be charged $12.95 per month by Business Max for their service (what kind of service they provide is never explained)! So even if you do not take their survey, you cannot get past the pop-up window unless you close it! Please tell me this practice is illegal? Has this company found a loop-hole in the system which allows them to charge unsuspecting consumers a monthly fee without their actual consent?

I called Vistaprint and inquired as to their affiliation with Business Max. After getting nowhere with the sales associate, I asked for a supervisor. When Ramain got on the phone, I asked him the same question. He said that Business Max is a non-transactional company that provides a service to customers who take advantage of the 20% off or $10 cash back offer. I explained that I never agreed to the offer. His response was, "Yes you did, if you clicked on the box!" I was infuriated and demanded that all my information be removed from their records and that a full refund be credited to my credit card. He then passed me over the customer service department, and Yassania was just as vague in her responses to my questions.

I had no idea there were other stories out there almost identical to my experience; however, after doing a Google search, I found numerous stories, lawsuits and reports to the BBB. Apparently, they are also somehow associated with a company in Stamford, CT. They are also affiliated with MWI or Memberworks. I have not investigated them as of yet, but plan to.

This is a printing related website company that I had some business cards and postcards printed in bulk from. A few months later, I started receiving a $12.95 monthly charge to my debit card. Upon researching the transaction, I found that VistaPrint signed me up for some Dealpass.com membership. Beware!!

Placed an order on Saturday, June 18, 2005. I ordered a set of graduation invitations and asked that they be rushed. I checked my account on Monday morning and noticed that the word "us" was missing on the first line of my invitation. When I did my final proof of the invitation, prior to purchasing, the word "us" was present in my document. I called and asked how that could have happened to my document and I was told that there is no text preview at Vistaprint. I explained to the lady that I understood that; however, I know that when I clicked the button to order the invitations, the word "us" was in my document. The lady then told me that I made the mistake!! I informed her that I did not change a word in the top line. I did change a word on the third line from "for" to "honoring." It was then told to me that I did not know what I was doing, I removed the word us.

I on-line designed, ordered and received a professional 4 color postcard at a reasonable price; good service. Several months later, I was questioned about charges on a company credit card that I'd used to pay for the postcards. They are rip-off artists operating under a legitimate business. BEWARE!

I was signed up for a memebership to BusinessMax at $12.95 per month by VistaPrint which was done according to them through a popup window. I use Mozilla Firefox with no popup windows allowed! BusinessMax both insist that I'm not due a refund but out of their goodness they refunded the most current month. VistaPrint basically said too bad!

Total of $25.90 charged to my credit card without my authorization.

VistaPrint engages in the scam practice of signing unsuspecting customers up for an on-line buying club. I ordered business cards, and VistaPrint claims I clicked on a pop-up for $10 off which automatically enrolled me in a discount buying club which placed a $11.95/mo charge on my business VISA account under the generic name of Business Max. I NEVER touch pop-ups, and even if I did, I would NEVER knowingly select to join an on-line buying club for $11.95 a month. When I called to complain, their Call Center told me they get lots of similiar complaints, but they said there is nothing I they can do since they have my E-mail address as proof of my intent to sign up for the on-line buying club. What a scam!

Since the charge was small and the business name generic, we didn't notice the charge buried amongst much larger business charges on the VISA report. We were billed for several months before we caught and cancelled this unwanted service.

Vistprint's re-order screen has a trap. I re-ordered custom-designed business cards and their site brought up my card from a previous order just fine. Then, I clicked OK, and the order came in on a different (and unacceptable) type of paper. It seems that it retrieves the previous order okay, but the customer still has to go through the paper selection process--which I failed to notice. Customer Care said, too bad, all we can do is give you a special sale price to have them printed again.

Even though they cut me a break on the price, I had to pay twice for this new set of business cards. If 100 people per month get snared by that gotcha, they must get a lot of extra business. They didn't sound enthusiastic about fixing that problem...I wonder why.

Five years ago I signed up at register.com and was told get 250 business cards free!!!, and never got them. I signed up at register.com again this year and saw the free vistaprint card offer again and thought why not? Again-no cards. I saw the link for free cards again and tried again but their site said a customer with my info was already registered. I called the number and the less than helpfull CSR said they couldn't find my info. Classic bait and switch.

False advertising led me to delay my company advertising due to their bait and switch. And oh yes, a 9.99 charge on my debit card unoticed for months that I can't remove.

I have purchased business cards from Vistaprint. The cards arrived, but the quality is inferior to my previous orders. Alignment is poor and on all cards appear a 'printing splash'. It is useless, because I can't possibly hand these cards out! I e-mailed 6 times now to customer complaints without any response. The website provides a 1-800.. number. I reside in Taiwan and it seems impossible to make contact via phone. What should I do?

I designed an order and approved an item with my initials. After placing this in my shopping cart, I went to work on another design, not making any changes to my item in the cart. Decided just to order my first item. Didn't think that I needed to check anything. Just for the heck of if, I check my order history and the text from the second project was placed over the first design. So I called customer service, where I was basically told that I was out of luck because it was longer than 15 minutes since the order was placed. It was only shipping that I had actually paid for because it was one of those free deals that I get all the time, it wasn't the money that bothers me. It was the fact that I was told nothing could be done, they didn't care that I was a regular customer.

I ordered online business cards. The cards were received with the wrong cell phone number. I recall checking the proof sheet twice but did not retain a copy. I requested that they correct my order and they indicated that they do not check proofs and that they have sophisticated enough machines to print whatever was typed. I could not get them to send me any evidence to substantiate this.

I ordered business cards for a business I was thinking at the time. I paid for the cards and was going to charge me $9.95 for a membership fee. I charged it by Bank debit card. I looked at my bank statement and found that they were charging me every 2 weeks! I then decided to cancel the membership. So I called their number at 888-840-6296. The number was not in service. I then remembered that I got it at VistaPrint.com. So I thought it would be faster if I called them at their "consumer service care" at 1-888-721-6214. I got in touch with a man telling me that I couldn't contact BusinessMax. He said the he hadn't heard of the number and gave me the actual number, 1-800-735-2244. So I called and gave me a decoration company. I went online and typed in the original phone number and found your website with its numerous complaints on BusinessMax.

I designed a business card that I submitted to VistaPrint to print. The proof came back and looked OK (no typos); I approved it. When the business cards arrived I was shocked at the low quality. The text was blurred and the graphic was horribly rendered (dark and bad color match). I would have been too embarrassed to hand out such a business card so I trashed them and went to my local printer for a professional job. I decided to contact VistaPrint to voice my displeasure, not asking for a refund or reprint. I got back a generic e-mail that was personalized explaining the limits of their liablility. Even their e-mail response showed poor customer service and low standards.

When I complained they said they'd recently changed their stock but felt it was every bit as good as their other stock (YEAH RIGHT!). They should have DISCLOSED a complete change in stock like that. Add to that EXTREMELY aggressive marketing techniques? Phone calls, emails after my order. THESE GUYS GIVE THE WEB A BAD NAME. AVOID!

This company offered free business cards online if I was willing to have their website printed on the back of the cards. I received the cards and only the cards with no invoice. They looked great. They had printed on the back "Business Cards are FREE at www.vistaprint.com!" I looked on my credit report and noticed a charge that I did not recognize. I looked at previous billing statements and found the same charge. So I called the number on the credit card billing statement and I got a deadline.

So I looked online and found complaints about this company on this site. It turned out that there was a case pending in California against this company. I called the company through a number I found on this site and not theirs, and discovered that I could cancel the account and get a refund for the current month. I was then transferred to another person who told me that I could not receive any refund for any previous month because I received a terms of agreement in the mail that said I could not receive any refunds beyond the current month. I did not receive any agreement in the mail and I definitely did not sign anything that said I agreed to those terms.

I ordered business cards online. I was in a rush for an audio convention and needed them in 3 days (Friday). I picked my design, filled it out and agreed that this was the one I'm going to buy by placing my initials underneath it and saying that everything is correct on it. With that in the shopping cart, I started looking at other designs since my roommate wanted a card also. Without making any changes to the cart, I went back into it and placed the order. It arrived Thursday afternoon with a completely different design than the one I picked. I called the customer service and after a lot of arguing, they told they'd replace it but it won't be at my house until Tuesday which doesn't do me any good since the conference is over on Monday.

I wanted my money back since now I'd have to rush to Keinko and get cards made up last minute at extra cost. I was transferred to a manager who told me that the web site is automated and does not make any mistakes. I was also told that they're not in business to give money back to customers and to have fun trying to fight it with my credit card company. They are the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, and I'm a regular online shopper. Beware!
