    I received the snow globe as a gift, for Christmas 2016. Used it for one week. Stored till the following year 2017. The snow would not work. It was a few days past the one year warranty because my husband bought it before Dec 25th for a gift. Bradford Exchange refused to help stating “it was no longer their problem”. Such a disappointment. My dad had so many things from Bradford Exchange from years past. I thought I was getting a quality piece. No more for me.

    I have ordered many times over the years from Bradford. This spring they advertised 3 lanterns for $69.99 plus shipping & tax. I get one in August and it shows up on my Paypal. Next month another & a payment shows up AGAIN. I went online and looked up the ad for them and see it was for each, not a set of three, $79.98 then $86.58 were my two charges. I get a third in October for $86.58. I didn’t save the ad from the newspaper that I ordered from, but I read ads very closely when ordering so it could not have been clear.

    According to the irate posts I have seen, I am not alone. I decided that even though $260 (gag!) was ridiculous for the product it was my fault so accepted it. THEN I received a 4TH package. I got in touch with Bradford and, guess what? There is a series of 10 lanterns!! The wording on the website is like an afterthought. It Is not clear, and I never saw anything about it before... I was told I can cancel and have done so. I will not order from them again.

    On 26th September 2018 I ordered the Mother Teresa Coin online for €22.98. On 9th October I received another request for payment and when I queried this I was told that no payment had been received and the confirmation email I received was that my order had been received not that payment has been debited. I then sent a cheque for €22.98 on 12th October. A coin did arrive on 25th October but it was the Racing Legends coin not the one I ordered. I then emailed to ask when the correct coin might be sent out to me and how to return the incorrect one.

    My cheque was then cashed on 26th October. On 31st October I received an email asking for my name, address, and date of birth. I forwarded these details and then received an automatic reply on 2nd November. I sent 3 emails on 1st, 2nd and 8th November without reply. I have tried to phone the number provided on a number of occasions without success. Will be contacting the small claims court about the issue.

    Scam ad was for collection of 3 at $68.99. This was reconfirmed by phone with Bradford. Order placed. The only 1 lantern arrives. Called Bradford who now says it’s $69.99 each and one lantern is overpriced at that amount. SCAM, false advertising and outright deceit.

    I changed mind on reservation of tree however as I read other remarks there is no place to cancel anything. Well because I have not paid for tree and I don't want it please CANCEL order. I have had no other problems with Bradford Exchange and would recommend their products.

    For one no notice of when payment is to be taken out of account. Suppose to be once a month, but have had two payments taken out of my account back to back. Called and canceled the subscription at the beginning of the month and returned the item, still had a payment taken out and haven't even received a credit for the item I returned. Called and spoke to a lady this morning (not her fault I understand), but will take a couple of days for the credit to my account. Asked her why a payment was taken out today when I clearly cancelled the subscription at the beginning of the month. She couldn't answer that question. Told her definitely will not purchase any more items from Bradford Exchange ever again.

    I’m going to try and remain as nice as I can. I ordered the Harry Potter collection 11/09/2017. They said the first item would ship in July 2018. I received that item. The subsequent items were supposed to ship once a month or every other month. It is now almost Nov 1 and I haven’t heard a peep. Not anything. I had emailed previously and they just said the item was not ready to ship. This is preposterous. They need longer than 3 months to ship one item? At this rate I will NEVER receive all of the village pieces. Maybe over the course of 10 yrs??? This is a terrible practice. I’ve had no communications from them, and I am willing to pay for the village, but this subscription thing is horrendous. They should not take more orders than they can handle or is in stock and they should ship them immediately. With companies that ship within a few days places like Bradford Exchange are not just dinosaurs, but in another dimension. Will update with info as it is received.

    Bought as a gift for a Combat Veteran. After 6 weeks with no tracking number, customer service tells me "collectibles" could take up to 12 weeks. I explained a sweatshirt was NOT a collectible. After 8 weeks and more complaints they send me a Block letter of apology and $10 off my Next(?) order. The birthday is long gone and it's 12 weeks and still waiting. I hope this company burns down.

    First of all let me say I used to order from the Bradford Exchange all the time over the years, and I never had such a problem with an order as I’m having with this one. I ordered a Hogwarts globe for my daughter that lives in NJ, as I am in NY. They took the first payment and I received an email it was preparing to ship. During this time I never received confirmation it was shipped, or a tracking #. I called and although I paid 25.00 for priority shipping, they said they had up to 2 weeks to deliver, and to wait another week.

    Mind you, I still have no tracking #, and no one from their customer service can find it either. I wait the week call again, to be told it as shipped and supposedly was delivered. I ask again for a tracking # and mysteriously they have one! I run the tracking number myself, and it does show as delivered. My daughter never received it. So I ask if it was signed for, and tell me no signature is required! So I am told they will re-ship another one and my daughter will have it in 5 to 7 business days.

    So here we are today 2 1/2 weeks later my daughter still does not have the globe. I called today and I am on hold for over 20 minutes before even speak to someone. When the representative gets on the line I explain to them I want a supervisor right away. They tell me it was only shipped yesterday on the 25th. So again I ask for a tracking number mysteriously nobody can find a tracking number for this order either. Since it’s a reorder I ask if there’s a signature required at this time they tell me no, because I selected priority shipping.

    So I get a supervisor on the phone and explain the situation I’m told they going to go look for the tracking number. Again I’m on hold over 25 minutes just to find a tracking number. I explain to the supervisor I don’t know what’s going on with this company but it’s a shambles it’s an absolute train wreck their customer service is absolutely ridiculous if I’m paying $25 to have something delivered why would you not require a signature? That’s for their protection, as well as mine. I told him if it wouldn’t have disappointed my daughter so much I would just cancel the order. Believe me when I tell you he had no qualms about it do you want to cancel or send another one. Well now they’ll send it FedEx and she’ll have it in two business days.

    So now they want my credit card to pay for shipping. Absolutely not I am not paying for that. I tell them to order it again and ship it out, because now it’s a matter of principle. I also let them know that they were losing a customer and I let them know I would be reaching out to social media to voice my concerns. They weren't too concerned about that either. I let them know that they were losing a very good customer and I would also spread the word at how their company has gone downhill. So now my daughter feels bad about this and is telling me just to cancel it and I said no. She goes online to ConsumerAffairs and find a whole list of complaints about the Bradford Exchange.

    All I’m saying is buyer beware. I never saw such a lapse in getting a product out to the consumer. You can order something that cost $1000 and if it sent priority shipping they could just leave it at your doorstep with no signature. From start to finish, 52 minutes more than half of that I was on hold for. I will never ever order from the Bradford Exchange again nor would I ever recommend it to anyone.

    I purchased a WW1 commemorative coin online from the Bradford Exchange recently for a relative. I started receiving emails about a delivery from the Bradford Exchange which I thought was just spam emails as I hadn't made a second purchase from them. I then checked my bank account and found that $89.98 had been taken from my account by the Bradford Exchange. I contacted the Bradford Exchange and was advised that the coin was part of a collection and additional purchases were part of the agreement. I responded that I hadn't been made aware of this as I had assumed the coin was a one off purchase.

    The customer service representative continued repeating herself that it had been made clear on the order that additional purchases were necessary. I advised that if I had been caught out by this "scam" there are likely to have been others. I advised that money should not have been removed from my account without authorization but I received the same spiel. I stated that while it may be "legal" to operate like this, it is a blatant poor sales technique used to scam customers into making purchases they don't want. They advised that the item could be returned and the $89.98 refunded. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, IF THEY USE THESE TACTICS, THEY ARE NOT WORTH DOING BUSINESS WITH.

    This was my first and last time buying from Bradford Exchange. Did receive pumpkin. Nightmare trying to pay bill. Tried online. Was refused. By phone. Couldn’t get through. Finally got it paid through a recording. Got an email that it was refused. Wrong amount? Finally talked to a rude person that sounded like they were wearing a muffler over their mouth. Would not take one payment. Said I owed two payments. I paid the payments. Horrible experience. Just want this over!!!

    An item I ordered for my father's 92nd birthday, to be engraved with his initials, did not arrive in time, despite it having been waiting at their engravers for over 4 weeks. Customer services were the epitome of unhelpful. I will never order from them again and strongly advise you not to do the same. The only thing they are quick about taking is your money! If you want something for a special occasion don't waste your time - go elsewhere. When I explained the situation and asked if there was anything that could be done to help, the word "NO" was all I could hear. It is hard to imagine a poorer service.

    My Father who is 78 ordered an Elvis bracelet for my mom for their anniversary, total cost £149.99. They told him it would be £29.99 per month plus delivery of £6.99 total being £36.98. They took the payment, then a week later tried to take another payment of £36.98 but his bank stopped it. No bracelet turned up. He called them to get a refund. They sent him out an insurance form, he completed it and sent it off a week ago. Today he has had a letter asking him to send the bracelet back which he never received. He called them. They said they have not received the insurance form, so today I have emailed them asking them to send me an insurance form. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DESPICABLE. Please read the reviews on Trust Pilot, the reviews which are more bad than good says it all, don't waste your money.

    Though Bradford Exchange offers beautiful merchandise, the delivery of such items is untimely. Two years in a row I ordered a special item for my daughter's birthday. I was assured it would be delivered BEFORE the date I needed. On the day is was scheduled to arrive, I tracked my item, the delivery date was CHANGED TO AN ADDITIONAL MONTH LATER. This makes the delivery of my items, over two months. I called to get a better understanding. Nothing could be done because it was a personalized item. So I attempted to purchase another, without the personalization, and it was not offered without being personalized. SO once again, I have missed my daughter's birthday. I will never order from Bradford Exchange again. The item was ordered August 17 NOW DUE TO BE SHIPPED OUT OCTOBER 11.

    I ordered Thomas Kinkade Illuminated "Nativity Story" Garland in memory of my mom. It says on their flyer that they mail you as well as their website, $49.99 US Each Issue Or 3 installments of $16.66 US s&s◇ $9.99 US. I paid it and was thinking that I was finished paying... What they don't tell you is each section is that price or more. They charged me 64 and some change. I called and complained about it, and I spoke with Rebecca **. She said that I misunderstood and everything is correct that they list the price of each section. I have gone over it three times, and they do not list that each section is a certain price. Also this is what she put into the email... It will take up to 30 days for it to be processed in their warehouse, and an additional 1-2 for the refund to be processed.

    Bradford Exchange customer service is courteous and competent. Their phone number (1-866-503-9057) is easy to find online. Their hold music is enjoyable and wait time wasn't excessive. The CSR I spoke to helped by also removing my wife from their mailing list. As always it takes a while to stop receiving mail, but I receive almost no junk mail (my wife receives a lot).

    I ordered checks and could order free magazines for 1 year. I would have to approve future subscriptions. I picked House Beautiful, HGTV, and Taste of Home. I have tried for the last year to cancel all three and have been unsuccessful. I contacted the Bradford Exchange and they said they couldn't cancel them to contact the magazines. I have sent emails and cancellations by mail and have been told to contact the Bradford Exchange. My charge card company said to contact the one I first ordered them from. I consider this a SCAM! Will not be buying anythings from any of these companies again.

    November 25 2017 I ordered a train for my godson Christmas Gift. My CC was charged $89.99. I received the train and all was perfect, until they start sending me more trains, I keep returning them. Come to find out they have have been charging my cc $30.00 for three months in addition to initial $89.99. I asked my bank to return the charges except $89.99. This Company has nerve to report me to collection agency that I owe them $89.99. I emailed asking them to stop sending me bogus invoices, but they do not quit, I have asked them to provide contract I signed/agreed for an ongoing order, they provide nothing!! Is this Legal? So frustrating, I report them to BBB as well. Someone stop this people ruin consumer Credit for nothing.

    I ordered the Patriots Super Bowl ring and just after the warranty ran out the middle of the ring broke. The middle Patriots emblem was nothing more than a plastic piece. A real piece of crap. The customer service line left me on hold for at least 25 min. before they answered and then they were like, "Whatever can’t help you." Wish I knew their jewelry came with a lousy 1 year warranty. Who gives just a 1 year warranty on jewelry. Piece of crap jewelry and customer service.

    I ordered a personalized music box on June 25th for my wife and our anniversary. I was told when I ordered it would ship between July 11th and July 25th. My anniversary has long since come and gone as I write this. When I recently looked up my order status, my item is now not supposed to even ship for another 2 weeks! When contacted, they said they can't guarantee delivery time for personalized items, which now will be months. So if you don't mind waiting literally months for your personalized items, I wouldn't recommend them. Since they missed my July anniversary, maybe they'll finally get me my item in a few months in time for Christmas.

    I ordered the Hollywood Royalty ring. Paid the full price, it’s been 4 days since I’ve ordered it, I picked 2-day shipping and I have not been sent any email saying it’s been shipped! And when I track my order status all it’s saying is that it will ship by September 15th... that’s a month from now!!?? I am not really pleased with Bradford Exchange right now and I don’t know if I ever will order from them ever again!!!

    Advertising by mail minimum 4 times per week - I have been on hold to speak with Bradford c.s. for 12 minutes and counting. Again. I have tried to get off of this incredibly arrogant and annoying company's mailing list for 2 months. Computer requests are ignored, and when finally able to speak to one of their incompetents and assured my name would be removed from their mailing list, I am still bombarded with their JUNK mail. The products are JUNK as well.

    Received two more GARBAGE ads in today's mail. They really think we will buy from them again? They don't realize we trash their name at any opportunity? They have no clue how many customers they never get from these reviews, and their MARKETING MONKEYS don't get it. This approach gets them enough revenue to continue in this manner. 16 minutes on hold and suddenly disconnected. Don't ever buy a product from these lying, cheating arrogant punks if you work hard for your money. You will be sorry with your mediocre product and you will never stop hearing from them trying to sell you more garbage.

    Purchased three personalized musical boxes for my granddaughters for their 10th birthday. I selected each one with a special message for each one of them. Something special to leave them as a memory. When received, no message. Called and I was told to go online and print the message. Asked to have it sent and never received. Very disappointed of the service provided. Do not recommend The Bradford Exchange products.

    I bought a Letter of Love pendant for my daughter. It states that it has two diamonds on it, well I pulled out a magnifying glass to see such diamonds but I couldn't. Not only did the diamonds not exist but the writing on the pendant was unreadable. Also I noticed it was made in China. I'm going to return for a full refund so I hope that goes well.

    I purchased a 2016 Denver Broncos purse for my sister, because it’s her favorite team. I paid in full and had the purse sent directly to her as a gift, and they sent my sister a bill saying extra postage was owed. I paid the postage and they wanted her to pay $14.95 for postage, what a rip off, and I told her not pay it. Then one week later her $150.00 Broncos purse starts falling apart!!! The strap broke on her $150.00 leather purse, and the Broncos logo started rubbing off. I will never buy anything from these people again!!!

    I ordered this Smithsonian Reconnaissance Collectors Watch April 11th 2018. It was guaranteed to arrive before my son's graduation on May 18th. It never arrived and after contacting the company I was told it was on backorder. It would be shipped out in June. In June it never arrived I contacted the company and they resubmitted my order supposedly anyway and it was due to ship out on July 11th. Today July 16th I contacted the company once again and this time I was told that I never chose to reinstate my order so now I have been waiting all these months for the special gift for my son's commission as an officer in the Navy and I have nothing to give to him and they still have my money. If I could give them a - 0 I would. This is atrocious and all I can get from a customer services, "Oh I'm so sorry that you chose not to reinstate your order. I can't refund your money!!!" Outrageous. Beware of this company they suck!!!

    I have had nothing but trouble from Bradford Exchange. Their customer service is anything but. I ordered a set of 4 status and they were supposed to be paid for by my PayPal account. First they kept sending them to the wrong address and it took numerous tries to get them to correct that. Then they took money from my account and I have no idea what they did with it since they cannot find the payment. They lost my PayPal information. Over worst company ever created. Not to be trusted.

    I ordered a Christmas Village set via subscription that was 3 issues. I received everything in good time and the quality was nice. The subscription should have ended. Instead, in January another piece came in the mail and the company automatically charged my credit card with no notification that they were "extending" the subscription. There was no advertisement/sign of a fourth piece anywhere on the website. Meanwhile my credit had expired and I had a new one, so the final payment or the village piece I did not order did not go through. They sent me a letter saying I was going to collections. I went online. There is NO PLACE to cancel a subscription or make a payment online to be done with this. There is also no phone number to speak with customer service to resolve the issue. The only message avenue is to email them... still haven't heard back. I will never order from them again. Terrible customer service and fraudulent business practices.

    I ordered two gifts one a week later. I was given confirmation number and estimated arrival date. Arrival date came and went and no gift. I called customer service. Told them I needed gift for granddaughter's graduation. Told nothing they could do. No help whatsoever. Didn't seem to care that was told latest date to receive would be June 6, 2018. Graduation came and went. No gift. Called customer service. Told them I received the gift I ordered for my daughter which was suppose to come June 22, 2018. Tried to explain where is the first gift I ordered. Was given incorrect info 3 times. They were mixed up with the 2 orders. I explained they ruined my graduation suprise and when will the gift arrive. Not sure. They thought maybe July 22, 2018.

    The only word they know is, "I apologize." No resolution. No date when I would get it. Would not give me the ceo name to write a letter. Customer service knows nothing. So sorry I didn't read these reveiws so for my stupidity this company has caused me a lot of stress and disappointment. Also when I got the first gift I wanted to cry. It was so small. I paid $70 for it. I am embarrassed to give this to my daughter. I thought it was a music jewelry box and you probably can't get 4 rings in this small container. If I ever get my granddaughter's gift I am sure I will be unhappy with it. This company should be put out of business. They are a disgrace for a business.

    I ordered an MLB watch for Father's Day, which is a week away. I paid an extra $21 for 2 day shipping on top of the $144 for the watch. My total with tax and fees was $182. My watch still hasn’t come in the mail so I went on The Bradford Exchange website to track my item and it said that they canceled my item! No notification, no email, no call, nothing. Cancelled it without telling me. Said it was canceled due to me not paying even though it took out from my credit card! Told me to call customer service on the bottom of the tracking information and cannot get through. SCAM, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

    This Together For Always Personalized Ring looked so pretty on the Bradford Exchange site. However, when I received the ring, it was so small. The little birthstone chips were so small, you could truly overlook that they were there. I even looked at the engraving under a magnifying glass and still could not read the names. This was a Mother's Day gift for my daughter, who is an amazing single parent. Also, it was guaranteed for delivery by Mother's Day. I didn't receive it until the Thurs. after Mother's Day!! I even spoke with a customer service rep two days before who guaranteed me that I would receive it for Mother's Day. I was so disappointed with this ring and the failed delivery date.     I am writing this review on in order to keep others from having the horrible experience with Bradford Exchange that I am having. In their advertisement the Granddaughter Diamond Gift Pendant was beautiful as well as the poem card for my granddaughter. When it arrived, it was so small that the word "LOVE" is illegible and the poem card was not even included. I am unable to return it since I've already informed my granddaughter I had purchased it for her. I am totally disappointed and ashamed to give it to her! Therefore, I am stuck paying $108.97 for an extremely ridiculous gift. Again, the poem card was not even included as it was promised. You can see that even the chain is very insufficient. I am very upset that I must pay that amount of money for such a shameful gift. I strongly believe that they should be put out of business for their false advertising as well as the horrible quality of their products.

    I purchased the wriggly field main gate twice from the Bradford Exchange. Both times the order was delayed by 3-4 months. When I received the order the first time it came damaged. A call was placed to customer service however they were not empathetic to the several month delay and damage. I reordered the item Dec 2017. The item was delayed to be shipped 5/2/18 and I still have not received it. Today I called customer service and they have been unhelpful and not empathetic. The Bradford Exchange has terrible customer service and I would absolutely not recommend purchasing from Them.     Many years ago I ordered something from this outfit and made the mistake of giving them my cc number. I kept receiving things I didn't order and they charged my cc. I refused items and returned them unopened. I expected a cc refund. Never happened. They kept the money and their junk. In order to get them to stop charging my card I had to ask my bank for a new card number. Since they can no longer charge my card they send me "collection notices" -- Got one today from "North Shore Agency" for something they say they sent in Jul 2017. I never ordered anything, never received anything and have sent letters and emails repeatedly telling them and their collection agency to stop -- to no avail. I hate to hire a lawyer for $69 -- I guess that's what they are counting on. In the meantime they soaked my cc without my permission for many $100s (gave them permission for one item).

    I ordered a memory necklace for a friend. I paid the $21 2 day shipping fee. It should have been at my house on May 16, 2018. It did not arrive. I paid the extra amount because I needed it on the 16th. There is no way that you can even check the status of where the item is.     I ordered the Harry Potter Snow Globe with the train that runs through it. The first one I got had clumps of snow in the globe. The switch to turn the light on to see the snow was not straight. It was at an angle and I had to use pliers to bend it. Then when I finally got the light on and the train working it would go through the tunnel because that whole area was aligned wrong. I sent back. The next one I got had no packing foam and was broke upon arrival with a plastic postal box holding it all together. The 3rd well it was all messed up. Everything about it was bad. It had an input hole to plug in an adapter but no adapter was included. Customer service said a lot of people are complaining about no adapter. Have to use batteries. I gave up and refund took long, delivery long also for all 3 items. I can't stand this business. DON'T BUY FROM THIS CRAZY PLACE. Not worth your time.

    I thought the photos of the "Wonderland Express Christmas Tree" were really nice. It showed wonderful, very detailed scenes with Victorian houses, trees, ice skaters on ponds, etc. with three trains going around and a flying Santa in his sleigh at the top. It was $149.00 and you could make a few payments. I ordered this item and selected the payment plan. They charged my bank card for the first payment. When it arrived and I opened the box, it had the trains and Santa sleigh as pictured but the houses and scenes were NOTHING like what was pictured on their website.

    When I sent an email to the company, stating I was returning the item the next day because it didn't look like what I had ordered and I wanted a refund, the excuse for the difference in what they showed on the website and what I got was "an artist's rendering". WHAT?! I was informed it could take up to 30 days to process the return and get a refund. Seriously? My experience with returning items and getting a refund from online orders with other companies takes just ten days to two weeks to process. I am very disappointed that I didn't get WHAT WAS SHOWN and I won't be doing any future business with the Bradford Exchange. Now I have to wait patiently for a refund...

    Updated on 05/26/2018: I am STILL waiting for the refund for the returned item. I had called their customer service last week to inquire and the rep said it will take a little longer. I told her to make sure my bank account was not billed again (4 payments had been set up) and she ASSURED me that I would not be billed again and I should get my refund soon. Today I was looking at my bank account on line and saw a pending debit from this horrible company for $42.48! They are still billing me for a RETURNED item. I tried calling but they have no customer service on the weekends. That figures... I did call my bank and they said once the debit goes through (can't do it while still pending) I can dispute it so I will be doing that. Meanwhile, I urge people NOT to do business with this company. Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.

    My mother bought me 3 pieces of jewelry with gold--I don't wear gold. In December 2017, I called customer service and spoke to Rose who told me I could return the pieces and exchange them or have a refund issued to my mother. I told them to issue the refund to my mother and she directed me to return the items in 3 separate packages--she even sent me the return labels. I was told the refund would be issued within 60 days. It is now April 2018, my mother has never received a refund. I contacted Fran-- a supervisor and she told me they never received the returns so there could be no refund issued. Really? Seriously? Someone needs to start a class-action lawsuit against them--I would be the first to sign up. Now, my mom is out about $400.00 and I am missing 3 gifts from her.

    I was getting the train pieces and after 6 I decided to cancel. I called the number to cancel and they said they cancel my subscription but that I had 2 more payments (which was false) I asked to pay in full and cancel all monthly payments to cancel as of June 2017. Then I start to see charges from Hawthorne Village (not the Bradford exchange) and every time I called they refused to give me any information unless I provided the full credit card number- which I was not going to give them. I wanted them to stop charging as I never signed up for it. I had to call my credit card company and get the 7 charges of $30 refunded and now March 2018 receiving debt collection notices. I never received any pieces from whatever Hawthorne is. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH EITHER COMPANY.

    Whitetail Gathering Wall Clock With Buck Sculpture. My boyfriend purchased this clock and to his shock and dismay discovered that it was made of plastic.     I ordered a Fairy Garden piece, one of a set. In their online display of this item, they show it with several additional pieces that do not come with the order. When I received it, I contacted them. They refused to provide the 2 or 3 (not many) additional items in spite of their dishonest advertising. They continue to use false advertising with their display. I complained to the Better Business Bureau. The BBB is merely an arbitrator for a solution; however, negative reviews will affect the business' rating. I recommend all unhappy customers take the few minutes to fill out the online complaint to the BBB about this terrible company and thus show the truth about it.

    I returned the order and canceled any future items. A few weeks later, they sent me another item (and charged my credit card) in spite of my cancellation. They cannot be trusted; they are dishonest and do not take responsibility for their actions. They do not value or respect customers. I had to return that product, had to take the time to go to a post office, all because of their mistake!!! An apology? Absolutely not. They even went on to send two more letters threatening to charge me for the item I had returned. Disgusting. Again, contact BBB if you are screwed by this company. The truth must come out!

    At Christmas I was given this clock (Kitchen Capers) which did not include the pendulum. I have gone back and forth with Bradford Exchange for at least 12 contacts. I have heard they 1.) Don't have parts. 2.) They don't have any contact information for their manufacturer where I might be able to buy a replacement part. 3.) They don't exchange unless you have all of the payment information which I don't since it was a gift. 4.) They can't find the payment information but at one point one of the customer service reps inferred that they had the information because if I went through the box one more time and didn't find the pendulum in the packing, they would send it.

    I've tried eBay and Amazon for parts with no success. I have tried the artist's name hoping to find a manufacturer or contact information for the artist in hopes of finding a part with no success. This has been absolutely insane. If I have a clock that is working properly, why would I have to return the whole clock in order to get a part that they did not include in the original packaging. This occurred by no fault of my own. They didn't include the pendulum and now do not want to make sure that I am made whole. I no longer work for the person who got this for me for Christmas so there is no way that I will get the order information. TERRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH AND I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM DIRECTLY. Customer service is non-existent. They keep emailing the same prewritten text to every request.

    I reordered checks for our checking account online. We have ordered from them for years. They have our information on file. I ordered two boxes with duplicates. When I received the checks, the last number was missing on all of the checks and the deposit slips. When I called them, they said that because I didn't buy all of their extra charges, they would not refund on the order. I have 2 boxes of checks that are not good. I will NEVER order from this company again. The customer service line is a joke. I'd rather pay double to someone than to order from a company that is so careless with something as important as your bank account.

    It's a shame that company that some really nice products has such poor customer service. The supervisors are very rude, and unprofessional. Items will show in stock and when ordered find out they aren't, I was told an amount by a supervisor when I placed my order and was charged $50 more. They replaced $30 and stated that was all they were gonna do, my first and last order from this company. The reviews giving this company a 1.- 1.7 average rating out of 5 are very very true. Best advice is to pay attention to the reviews. I wish I had used better judgment. I hope my mistake can help others avoid the same experience.

    We placed an order with The Bradford Exchange back in August 2017 for personalised wedding ring set, we then contacted the business just before Christmas as we hadn’t heard anything from the business for them to tell us they never received an order even though they had received the payment, so they re-made the order and told us we will receive the rings within 8 weeks.     I ordered an item back (personalized figurine) in November of 2017. They had told me it was on the guaranteed before Christmas list, as it was a Christmas gift. Since it did not give me any information online about when I would be receiving my item, I called them. The rep I spoke with said it would be shipping out December 18th. Come December 26th I called again. I understood that due to Christmas it may take a little longer to receive, which I was fine with. But on the 26th when I call I was informed it had not shipped out and would be December 30.

    So I waited. Around January 5th or so, I called again. Only to be told my item still had not been shipped. I was then told it would ship February 12th. Around the 25th of January or so, I called again. Just to confirm my shipping out date has not changed again. At that time I was told it would ship out January 30th. I was like okay fine, something is finally going right with this company. They told me shipping should only take a few business days. Okay, how many is a few? Then today, February 5th I called again.

    Only this time to be told the item I ordered was out of stock. Like are you kidding me? After 2 months you are now telling me that my item is out of stock? Absolutely ridiculous. I canceled my order as soon as I was told that. It's been too long. I'm done waiting. Then Deb the supervisor I spoke with said they could only refund $30.99, because that's all they have taken out of my account. That's where I got extremely upset. I have screenshots and bank statements of the multiple withdraws that have taken out of my account. I was a first time customer and my experience was terrible. Unfortunately, Bradford Exchange does not put any type of tracking number on this option. Whoever heard of a company not putting tracking on blank checks??     I have tried two phone conversations, three if you count talking to management and two emails regarding EXCHANGING an item from Bradford Exchange. All I want to do is exchange an item that was not "technically" listed as a gift purchase under my name/address. Who wants to hurt a family member's feelings when all I want to do is exchange an item within their own company. I was told by two customer service agents, Paulino and William; and by Mike, from management, that there is no loophole to accommodate this transaction without offending and making aware the family member.

    What company who has been in business for 44 years per Mike would have such dinosaur policies?! I do not want a REFUND! I just want to change an item which is completely not my style!     I was on the internet looking to buy checks at Wal-Mart.com where I always get my checks. But Bradford Exchange caught my eye with a deal: buy one box of checks, get the second free if you are a new customer. Well, I jumped right on it because they had Muppet checks and I am a huge Muppet fan! The checks came to $7.49. The standard shipping is $5.90 which is almost the price of the checks themselves, but since I only had a few checks left in my checkbook and really wanted Muppets checks, I sucked it up and went with the standard shipping, as any other shipping option was much more expensive. By the end of that business week, they sent me an email saying the checks had shipped.

    A week later, I call the Exchange because they didn't give me the ability to track my purchase and the customer service representative said they are in still in transit. I then asked to verify that it will be 10 business days (which equals 2 weeks) until I receive my order. (I thought this was just an estimate and there is no way it is going to take that long!) He informed me that it will take 10-15 business days until I receive them which brings the delivery to three weeks on February 1st. I ordered these checks on Sun. Jan. 7, 2018. Does it really need to take nearly a whole month for checks to be sent from their Illinois facility to Pennsylvania? I can drive there and back and have them sooner!

    I feel for this poor service, I shouldn't have to pay for the shipping and handling at all. Not only was it ridiculous that two orders of checks at $7.49 would be so costly to ship, but to wait so long for checks to be delivered as well? What kind of shipping am I paying for? Pony express? Wal-Mart.com delivers them within a week and I never had a problem with their products. I am going back to my original supplier and Bradford Exchange will never see the light of day in my house again, no matter how great their specials are. I think they need to run the check specials to get new customers, because they can't keep the old ones!!!

    I ordered a Snow Globe for my granddaughter for Christmas. Because the "fine print" is so difficult and vague to see... When I realized there was a $29.99 pending charge in my checking account I realized it was in a series I emailed them 1 week later to cancel any further charges. I have NEVER experienced such a convoluted system in my life. They make almost impossible to find a telephone number to speak with a representative so I had to send an email.     When I placed an online order, I did not get an estimated shipping date only that it would be shipped STANDARD. I called Bradford Exchange customer service to inquire when I could expect to receive my order as it was a gift. The representative I spoke to offered to change the shipping from Standard to 2-day shipping. Then came back on the phone and said that 2-day shipping was not available for this item. That it would ship STANDARD which takes approximately 10 business days. Today, I went online to track the order and it says the estimated shipping date is mid-February to early March.

    I called and spoke to Customer Service who told me the figurine is on back-order and he said I was told that. I said I had not been told that and he asked if I was suggesting I was told a lie. "Yes" if the backorder information was available to the rep I originally spoke to when we were on the phone, then she told me a "lie". She said it should arrive in 10 or so business days. I would have never proceeded with the order if I knew delivery was going to be so far out - as this was a birthday gift for January 9th.

    I am very disappointed with the service received from Bradford Exchange – both the online portal and customer service that did not provide full disclosure regarding delivery at the time the order was placed. I couldn't then and won't now wait until February or March to give this as a gift. I told the customer service rep to cancel the order and will find something else. Still waiting for confirmation that the order was cancelled. A huge waste of time and a big disappointment.

    I purchased the Wonderland Express Christmas Tree and the Christmas Swing Tree. These are electrified tabletop Christmas decor that have moving parts. I have taken very good care of these and always put them back in the original packaging. The motors have now gone out. Here is the reply from Bradford after inquiring about fixing them: "We are sorry to inform you that we cannot repair or restore our products. Unfortunately, we also do not carry replacement parts. We would suggest checking your yellow pages for a company that repairs small figurines, jewelry or electronics in your area. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."     I ordered 3 items for Christmas gifts in November. Only one out of the three made it here on time.     Back in the day, 1980s-1990 ish, we loved the quality of all Bradford Exchange (BE) collections and the authenticity certificates. Now, I feel it was been Franklin-Mint we liked instead. I was hoping to have "special" gifts for my family members and company staff. They came to me in packaging from CHINA and when I opened it, I was disgusted. If I wanted cheap, knockoffs; I would have ordered from AliExpress or Wish.com. Paying $66.00 plus shipping, $34.00, for a cheap-looking "Hello Kitty" bag was ridiculous. The $60+, small "Nut Cracker" egg had a ballerina magnet. The ballerina did not turn while music played, and I could not even close the egg with the ballerina inside. The whole "Faberge" egg was off centered at the hinge and was obviously a cheap imitation (not of "fine craftsmanship" as purported).

    I was supposed to get everything before Christmas. I paid high dollars and received 4 out of 10 pieces ordered. I want a refund for the items that have not been sent. Beware of this company. I am going YELP and YOUTUBE this, showing everything I thought would come and what actually did. So upset for believing! It is obvious a less-refined generation, or a BOT is running this business. "Thomas Kinkade Collections?" I am sure he wasn't getting any royalties from this cheap, China-made junk. Makes me question why Mr. Kincade drank himself to death. Thank God, I split the payments up into installments. It is obvious BE makes their money on the first installment, plus with the shipping and handling charges.     I placed two separate orders on December 5th 2017. The ad said it would arrive in time for Christmas. I received the one order of a engraved heart pendant. The writing is so small I had to use a magnifying glass to see it.     I wouldnt recommend buying anything from here. Got my mom the personalized family names ring. I saw the ring advertised on Facebook and thought this is the ring my mom keeps talking about. The picture looked great so I decided to order it for a Christmas gift for her. It showed up 2 days ago and when I opened it up to check on the spelling of the names to be sure they were right I couldnt even read them with my 20/20 vision.     I ordered a necklace for my wife as a main Christmas present in November, had an order number from them but, nowhere on their website to track any orders or to input REF no. Emailed them on 11/12/17 asking why it is taking so long? No reply from email so emailed them again on 15/12/17. The reply I got was the item "should" be delivered before Christmas. On 18/12/17 had an email saying that, "The item has now been picked from our warehouse and will be dispatched to you within 24 hrs". I asked the question as to why it had taken 3 weeks to pick an item from their warehouse, no answer was given as they had just ignored that question. How are any of their customers meant to track an item when they do not have these facilities on their site to do so?

    I am writing this review as a first time customer and early because I am satisfied so far with the customer service I have received. I was worried after not doing my research of the company but looking beyond the negative reviews and knowing what I know with experience myself I knew to just ask and you shall receive before getting upset like I almost was. There is hope even when you’re flustered but I had purchased a Xmas gift for my loved one and was hoping to receive it before then. Luckily I found exactly what she asked for a long time ago on here and was just in time to make the purchase and deadline for Xmas delivery. My plan A item was sold out and glad I saw it unlike some people would have missed the print lol so I had to pay a little more for a gift that works out in the long run. I even called the customer service multiple times that people seem to can't find or don't have their number lol but anyways and still nothing. So finally after being upset then calming myself down before I called them again to talk to a c.s. Rep. I got very great news that my item was already shipped out and that I'd receive it the next day. I was told I'd get it in the 23/24 but Christmas came early I guess lol. Like I said this was an early post to talk about their cs only. I will post again once I actually have the item in hand and my loved one opens it on Xmas day.

    Anyways reviews are personal opinions that can scare anyone but if you believe in your opinion only and ask questions like I did for myself things will be ok no matter what. I gave the csr the info she needed to look up my info and in no time she was able to tell me what I had called for which was who was shipping the item to my home and also she gave me the tracking number I'd asked for. Easy and simple no problems. I saw the gift I'd ordered in the next town over waiting to be delivered to me tomorrow no later than 8pm! Hope all is well and all the parts are intact but I have faith that it'll be ok.

    All in all I want to thank the Bradford Exchange company’s customer service reps and for giving me a first time customer a piece of mind in such a great crucial last minute shopping time. No matter how bad the reviews maybe I'm glad to tell my little story to maybe help someone who might have to endure what I did as a first timer! Until Christmas review 2 coming soon.     I ordered several items online in Nov in plenty of time for Christmas. The website has you enter your payment info without a submit order option or even a total amount. As soon as I entered my info it took money out of my account before I even knew the amount, I had to check with my bank to see how much they took out. I decided I do not want the company to have my card info on file just because I will not know when they take anything out so I e-mailed them and told them to take my card info off my account and send me a bill. They sent me a bill and through my bank a check was sent payable on Dec 6th. As of today 12/14/17 they said they haven't received it and anyway it takes 2-3 weeks when someone pays by check. I now want to cancel my order as I know I won't get it on time for Christmas but then again I doubt if I would ever see my money back -- my bank offered to cancel payment which I just might end up doing.

Then I get another lighter, number 8, so I call them, they stated that there were 10 in the collection. Sorry, it was never advertised as 10. There is no place in the collection for another 3.     I ordered 3 of the Nutcracker musical snow globes. Cheaply constructed. Customer service is a joke. I wish I had checked before purchase. 2 of the 3 globes do not work (music part). No return shipping labels provided. Took 2 days and countless calls to get one sent. I was told to just take it to the post office and write “refused delivery” on it. No receipt. No proof. NO WAY.     My issue is not yet resolved. Thanks for getting back to me. However, your email has not added any clarity. In fact you have added further cause for confusion. To begin – as there are only three photographed items on the website I assume that is the collection. So let me be clear now and say those are the only three items I care about – it’s been that way from the outset, now and until this is resolved. I wanted to buy what I could see – like most online shoppers.

    As distasteful as this whole experience is proving to be I am now bit stuck because this was a birthday present for someone important to me. The Locomotive is already delivered. So I want to continue getting #2 & #3 to the same location. So to make it clear again – that is all I care about. I want those items with the track etc and then no more. What do you need to happen now for installment 2 &3? You say below go to the Make Online Payment option. For #2 & #3 or just 2? What happens with #3? So no-one is confused – my payment method is via PayPal which charges my credit card. However, as you will read on you will see that you have stated some contradictory and additionally confusing things clouding any real understanding where I am at in this transaction.

    So that it is very clear before I move on - I did not cancel anything. I queried why I got an email saying that an item was about to be dispatched. I said I only ordered one item – thinking it was the entirety of what I had seen, and believed I had purchased. Yes, still, of course, thinking that the person the present is for had the complete train (3 items plus the track). I only recently discovered that is not the case. I still did not ask anyone to cancel anything. I said it was OK to send – still not realising that there is a separate payment for part two. I have kept all exchanges of email. You have sent a notification that the item is dispatched.

    I’d feel bad about this confusion except this seems quite common for Bradford Exchange (there are plenty of online complaints of a similar nature.) You state: "Please note that we did not get the chance to send you 'Holiday Celebration' - 14-01540-702A before you canceled your collection as this was out of stock at the time, so you were sent 'Decorating the Tree' - 14-01540-004 instead." You did not get a chance to send “Holiday Celebration" before I cancelled the collection (I did not) yet it was out of the stock? That makes absolutely no sense. So I have been sent Decorating the Tree – you say? But apparently I canceled the collection (I DID NOT) - So was it sent it or not?

    Also: "As this item comes with the ‘power pack’ and tracks please let us know if you would like us to order this separately so you may have a functioning product." If it comes ‘with’ why would I order separately? What do you mean by order separately? Why? I want parts 1-3 with the so called ‘free’ track. That has been the only constant in this deal. And: "Also our records show that you have been re-invoiced $169.97 for your second item 'Decorating the Tree' - 14-01540-004 as payment was rejected by PayPal." I have checked with PayPal – nothing has been rejected and there is no reason it would be. Feel free to send me the information showing that PayPal rejected a payment from me and I will follow up. OR feel free to resend.

    Here is the summary. I DID NOT cancel anything – I queried a confusing email. I want the 3 items as per the website including the track. No more, no less. Have you shipped #3 Decorating the Tree as per your emails (x2) saying you have? If you have shipped #3 Decorating the Tree I can see that there is no PayPal payment taken from my account. I will not take any action at this stage but if received I will keep and pay what is owed. If my payment was rejected by PayPal how come no contact from either them or Bradford Exchange. You need to supply evidence of this if you wish me to address it.

    What happens with #2 Holiday Celebration? Explain about the power pack and tracks – are you trying to now charge me extra for them? SO now waiting to hear back. Will also point out that the same person was gifted the Wonderful World of Disney Musical Christmas tree which is $299 + P&P - the workmanship is really poor - the quality of the figurines and decorations has totally put me off buying it for myself.

    Updated on 01/26/2018: Refer also to my previous review which is for an issue still ongoing but closer to resolution. Here are a few things I have learned. PUT EVERYTHING IN WRITING - The customer service is shoddy and it is hard to get clear or direct answers. And the excuses are ongoing. IF YOU ARE TALKING TO THEM TELL THEM IT IS BEING RECORDED.

    SPECIFY IF YOU WANT YOUR ORDER CANCELLED - Because I queried my order they cancelled my order and tried to make me pay by other means. When I did decide to continue with purchasing their overpriced collection as by that time the recipient has received part one of her birthday present (it was a special birthday so withdrawing the gift just did not feel right).

    USE PAYPAL ONLY FOR PAYMENT - It is free to join up and they have been great handling past disputes for me. When Bradford customer service people tell you that you can only pay by cheque, money order or credit card over the phone they are lying. When they tell you a PayPal authority expires after two weeks ask them then how they expect a monthly payment for a collection to be paid. They are a PayPal account holder (note they advertise PayPal is a method of payment) - It was not too hard for me to do their job for them and work out I would process a payment to their account. You can do a payment to Paypal@bradex.com.au.

    Just make sure you choose the right currency - I stuffed up and paid USD instead of AUD which that are handling in the most convoluted, confusing and uncommunicative way they handle everything else. PUT A NOTE WITH THE PAYPAL PAYMENT - Include customer number, order number, item name and anything else you want to drive home like 'final payment' or 'remove me from your mailing list.'

    SPECIFY IF YOU DO NOT WANT THEM SENDING SUBSTITUTES - They will happily send a substitute product without consultation and expect you to pay the P&P if you return it so make it clear you will not. What you see on site is not necessarily what they will send. BEFORE YOU ORDER - check the measurements of the item - the pieces I have purchased as a gift are tiny and not worth the $169 AUD they are charging per piece - I should have checked before I ordered.

    NOTHING IS FREE - refer to previous comments about over inflated prices - trust me they have built it into the cost and then some. IF YOU RESUME AND ORDER GET THEM TO CHECK THE SHIPPING ADDRESS - In the process of trying to get my issues sorted out they have managed to dispatch the last piece to my address instead of the person I gifted this to - I did not ask them to change the shipping address they just decided they would - also without any consultation.

    And if they offer to send a second item to the correct address be sure that you are not going to end up having to pay to ship a second item back to them as would have been the case for me if I had not stopped them. It these items are that valuable I am not sure why they are so careless with them. My next battle is to sort out payment and get them to never send me another mailer again. I get one every few days.

    I ordered a locket in October for my Granddaughter's birthday in late November. When I had heard nothing after 3 weeks I emailed them asking for information on delivery, I did not receive a reply. After I had emailed 3 times more I got a reply asking me to email my address and they would get back to me, they didn't. I have twice tried contacting them by telephone to speak to an operator, each time I have been on the line 20 to 25 mins, with an automated voice saying now and again how they value my custom etc etc. You are then told to leave your phone number and they will ring back in the next 8 hours but they do not. I do not know what to do, they took the money from my account the day after I placed the order even though on ordering they say no money will be taken until item has been dispatched.     Bradford Exchange mishandling. I ordered a gift for a close friend in August 2017. I received confirmation of the order and an anticipated delivery date of early September. The gift was for a birthday in late August (ordered 2.5 weeks prior). I provided a photo of the item along with the promise that the item would arrive in early Sept. My friend was thrilled with the prospect of the gift. In early September, with no delivery, I went online to check the status. The new date was in mid-October. No attempt to communicate with me via email or phone or US mail was made to let me know why the order was delayed.

    I let my friend know about the new date. In October, I was made aware of a postcard that reflected a new delivery date in November. Again, I let my friend know of the new delivery date. Imagine my shock when I went online and found that the order was canceled! After much frustration with their website, I found a phone number and spoke to a customer representative.

    I explained the history and found out that the postcard received required either a phone call or a return response. The order was re-entered. I requested that a new delivery date and after getting approval from the staff supervisor to waive the charges, I was promised 2 day FedEx delivery. 2 days later I found that the clerk had entered the wrong account information so I called the 24/7 line and provided updated billing information. I received confirmation that the item was shipped. When I checked the FedEx tracking, I saw a delivery date for the next day. However the status only showed 'label created'.

    When I did not get the delivery the following evening by 8 PM per the original FedEx notice, I decided to allow another day or 2. The following Monday, when no item was delivered over the weekend, I again called the Bradford Exchange. I was told by the phone support that I was going to receive the item in 5-7 days. I asked to speak to the supervisor since I had already gotten the 2 day FedEx approved. After getting put on hold for 10-15 minutes, the supervisor told me that the shipment was going to take 3-5 days. She offered to re-order the item with a 2 day shipment but at that point, I was told the original order would arrive in 2 days.

    I was told that if the item has not arrived by Wednesday, I should call again. Since FedEx can deliver as late as 8 PM, if the item has not been shipped, I will have to wait until Friday as Thursday is a holiday to get any updated status. I will not order from this company again as their service and ability to ship items as promised has not happened. I want to make sure that this gets on record. I am very disappointed at the lack of information, the delay in receiving an item that I ordered 4 months ago and still have not received.

    I bought the "Native American Men Thunderbird Ring" in May, 2017 for my husband for Father's Day. He had seen it advertised by Bradford Exchange. It arrived on time and my husband loved it. About a month after the 120 day guarantee, the stone fell out of the ring while being worn, dropped to the ground and broke in 3 pieces. My husband called Bradford to see if they would stand by the quality of the ring. After 30 minutes of being on hold or routed to another "hold" someone answered and their response was No. If he would pay for another ring, they would give him $20 off. I paid $160.98 for this ring. My husband takes excellent care of his jewelry. Bradford does not back the quality or workmanship of their products. They are very difficult to reach to discuss anything. I would never buy anything from them again. Also, there are two paragraphs on our invoice both ending "for a lifetime of enjoyment" and "will bring you many years of enjoyment".

    Looking at the photos online for the bridal ring set I ordered the personalized engraving has deep smooth lines, very professional looking. What you really get is engraving that looks like it was done with a vibrating style engraver, the edges are rough, can see the little dots the tool made and is barely readable.     For my daughter's 16th birthday, we ordered her a special ring from Bradford Exchange, with a guaranteed delivery date. When a package arrived from BE, it turned out to not be her ring. My wife contacted them about their mistake, and they assured us that they would send out the ring when we returned the wrong item, which we did. And the ring never came... Despite several calls to them, they continued to not rectify the situation.

    Finally, I called them, and got through to a manager. I was informed that the warranty had expired, and that the best they could do was provide a 20% discount on another purchase. I informed the manager that 1) it was not a warranty issue - nothing was wrong with the product because we never got it! and 2) they had over $100 of ours and had delivered no product. The manager told me she would take it up with her manager, and see what she could do. I never received a callback. I would suggest to the people at Bradford Exchange to look up the word "integrity," because they demonstrate a complete lack of it.

    I would never bother with this Company!! I put in an order for an expensive doll for my Daughter back in September only to be told that it now is not going into production. This doll was under QC but Bradford still had the check to take money from my account. At first Customer Service said that it had been dispatched and took the payment, then it was under Qc.

    I'd made several phone calls, sent several emails with no response. Don't bother ringing their dumb phone line as all you get is an automated service saying to leave a number they can call you back on in the next 8 working hours. Yeah like hell!!! Twice I left my number and no one bothered to ring back!!! After over a few weeks of emails and phoning, I finally get a response saying they are going to send me a refund. I have been stressed not been able to concentrate on anything because of this. I recently rang Consumer because I was so distressed. So be warned people of this Company!! I ordered a nice doll off Amazon it came within a week of ordering. WILL NOT BE BOTHERING WITH BRADFORD EXCHANGE EVER AGAIN!

    I put an order in for an expensive doll for my daughters birthday on the 1st October (2 weeks ago). I received an order confirmation - then nothing. I waited about 10 days and thought I'd write to CS to see if there were any developments. Heard nothing back.     In late March of this year I received an advertisement in the mail from Bradford with a very good deal on the card. I waited too long to use it so I went online to order the same gift. It was a really nice dream catcher for the wall. My brother really liked it and it arrived on time. Pretty good right? Not so good is how they charged my credit card for the listed amount, waited awhile then charged my card $48.94 3 more times before I caught it. I just moved and have used my card a lot but I missed it. I'm going to call my CC company and dispute those extra charges.     I was terrified after reading reviews from around the web... But, upon coming home today, 09/02/2017 after work, my package had arrived - 6 days early!     I liked the first of the Dreamcatchers, so I ordered it with the option open to order more later on. It says on the cards advertising them that to reserve a copy, return the card. This was in July. I paid for it, supposedly through PayPal as that is what it says on my Bank statement. The first charge was $47.94, July 17. Then on August 8th, there was another charge for $48.94 for Bradford Exchange. And then yet another one on August 30th. "PAYPAL *BRADFORDEXC ** OH 08/30." The above was on my bank statement, that is PayPal's phone #.

    So I went into my PayPal account to see if I could see the processing of the payments. There's no listing for any of the 3 payments, at all! I called PayPal and the only transaction they have listed for me was to DreamWorks, for slippers I bought for my husband. $68 in NSF fees later, I've written to Bradford Exchange for a refund for the charges for August and cancellation of my order. My spouse is into their coin and paper money collections and hasn't had the same experience with them, at least so far.

    I wish I had read the reviews before making an order with this firm, my order was for a ring and to pay by installments. The Bradford Exchange have taken the full amount out of my bank and I am unable to contact a human to discuss this. I get through to the same automated phone line which when you leave your details they dont ring back. I have also contacted them by email, and in response you are told to ring the number so round I go again. I have now requested to cancel the order and to receive a full refund. This request is being ignored. I have now reported the company to Barclays for fraud. I hope this review stops someone else having all this hassle.

    I ordered a Camaro cuckoo clock for $200+, the expected arrival date changed 3x. Upon finally receiving the product, the second hand didn't function and the quality of the clock was poor. It was cheaply constructed. I packed up the product and returned it, I kept my receipts and tracking info. They could not verify they had received the item back although it was confirmed by FedEx. They said it would take 7-10 business days to receive a refund, I have yet to receive a credit and the 7-10 business days has elapsed.     I bought an item from this company for my husband for Father's Day on June 1st. I bought this item because it said it was guaranteed to arrive before Father's Day. On the confirmation email I received it said the expected delivery was between the 8th and the 14th of June. I then received an email saying my package was shipped with FedEx on June 6th, it also had a tracking number. After I didn't receive my Item on the 8th I decided to check the tracking number to see where my package was, FedEx informed me that my package didn't exist! I contacted the Bradford Exchange's customer support with my issue, they weren't very helpful and informed me that my package was shipped to FedEx on the 6th, not to me!!

    This made no sense to me so I emailed them back expressing my concern that I didn't feel like this package would make it to me in time for Father's Day and that my children would not have anything to give their dad. They weren't very helpful yet again and told me that there's nothing they can do, that my package will arrive between the 20th and the 27th. So now I have nothing for my kids to give their father on Father's Day because the item I bought was pretty expensive and I cannot afford to go out and buy him other gifts. My daughters are really upset and cried over this. If you do decide to buy something from this company expect about a month for your item to actually arrive.

    Back in March, I ordered a product via Internet that came in a plain, brown box with no outside stickers to warn/indicate it was fragile. The box was damaged and the product had a wooden piece broken off. I sent it back, but never received an acknowledgement they received it, so I sent an email. They responded, saying yes they received it and my replacement order would be shipped out soon.

    Well over a month later, May 30th, no replacement, so I emailed again and received an almost identical reply, in that the order would be shipped soon. I decided to call and spoke to a Supervisor on a Friday, who agreed I should have received my replacement order. She assured me she would look into the status of my order and contact the email department regarding the meaning and use of the word "soon". She said something to the effect of, "I promise I will call you Monday with the status of your order." No phone call, but I received another email from their email department saying they were looking into my issue and will respond in a "few days." I suppose that is like my product being shipped "soon?"

    I called them again and cancelled my order. The gentleman was very apologetic, said my money would appear on my credit card by Friday, June 16, 2017. We shall see. If you check the Bradford Exchange rating on the BBB web page, they received an A+ rating - despite 91% of the reviews were negative. Do NOT go by the BBB rating. It is a joke.

    Updated on 06/12/2017: Good news: My refund appeared on my credit card within 2 days. Bad news: (sigh) I received another email from Bradford Exchange. The last email they sent me said they were going to look into why I had not received my order. The email I received this morning said they were sorry I canceled my order, but regarding my customized clock order ~ "Unfortunately, we are still awaiting for more to arrive; however, we can certainly place your name at the top of the list to ensure you receive one if you wish to reorder. Please let us know. We will be awaiting your response."

    This is my chief complaint regarding Bradford Exchange. They do not seem to thoroughly read the emails or understand the basis for the complaint. They told me two times (2) (about a month apart) my custom order was being worked on and would ship out soon. This latest email seems to indicate they didn't even HAVE my clock, it was never being worked on and would never ship out "soon." And then they have the audacity to ask if I'd like to reorder and are awaiting my response. Apparently, they just don't get it. I saw their ad in the American Legion Magazine. I will be writing to the American Legion to share my experience with the Bradford Exchange.

    I ordered a men's ring on 11/30/2016 to which my account was charged $32.20 because I was supposed to be on the 5 month or so payment plan. In December I call the company because the ring was listed as having arrived at my home on Saturday but when I checked, it had not. Everything seemed great. The customer service agent was very polite, said that he would take care of it, and get another ring shipped out to me as soon as possible as it was a Christmas gift. The ring came the following Monday so I called back and informed them that the ring had arrived and maybe someone with the delivery company had pre marked it as delivered on the weekend. I continued on and noticed that I did not get the second installment pulled from my account at the end of December.

    I called in January after I got back from vacation to inquire. I was told that the service agent that I had talked to before had canceled my original order thus negating the payment that I had signed up for and the only way that I could pay was by check or money order via the mail. Because of this, apparently credit card or online were no longer options for me. I was sent a bill for the remaining amount. I sent a check for half the remaining $128.78 in January. I called to inquire weeks later about whether or not it was received. The response was no and it may take up to 6 weeks to get and be processed. I got the mail back in late January deformed, and defaced. I rewrote it and mailed it out again in early February. The check comes back with a note that I don't have an account balance. So I'm thinking, well is it free?

    I call again about this issue and have to explain and re explain the situation to the customer service agent who basically tells me again that I can't do it over the phone or electronically. She said that I had to send a check or money order, this time with my account number, order number, name, and an explanation. Why am I jumping through hoops to try to pay these people and wasting stamps while I'm at it?! Like a good consumer I send the check AGAIN! The check has not come back but today 5/24/17 I get an invoice in the mail for the FULL AMOUNT of the purchase! Forget that I paid the first installment of $32.20. Forget that there should be record of all my calls and inquiries. I'm so over this company despite the fact that my best friend loves the ring I got him. This should be illegal!

But what I learned to do with this company and others like it is to send them a money order for the amount rather than a check or credit card.     Do not and I mean do not ever order anything from this company. I ordered my daughter I love you always musical box. I got the information out of the newspaper where they have coupons on the ad. It says "send no money now". So that is what I did. So after a week I called there to see where my jewelry box was and I talked with someone named Emily and she said I ordered 2 boxes which I did not. They mislead when you send in the advertisement. When you call in this is when they tell you either need to pay half or pay in full before they will send it out.

    I also got a letter from June ** saying that they did not have this jewelry box in stock and got a $5.00 dollar gift certificate off on my next purchase. Then I called back, spoke with Doris, told me they have the jewelry box but would not send it to me without half the payment. I told her forget it. Period. I will never order anything from this company again. They do not care about the customers and they do not try to make it right like most companies would do. They are making false advertisement. If they would have said in the beginning I would had needed to make a payment I would have because I really wanted that jewelry box. I was even going to order one for my granddaughter.     In November 2016 I ordered a Marilyn Monroe lamp for my husband for Christmas. Around the second week of December I e-mailed customer service and I was told that the lamp was shipped. However, when I checked the tracking number there was no information on the shipment. This continued through December. Christmas came and went and still no lamp. I wrote several e-mails and customer service continued to tell me that the lamp was shipped. Since there was no movement on the tracking #, I wrote my credit company and disputed the charge that hit my credit card for the lamp. The credit company issued a credit for the cost of the lamp.

    After awhile I got an e-mail from Bradford telling me that the lamp shipped and they gave me a different tracking number. This time the lamp finally arrived after Christmas in January 2017. I went online and paid for the lamp. Come March 2017 I get an invoice telling me that my account has gone into collection for the cost of the lamp. I immediately sent them an e-mail and told them that I paid for the lamp online and I didn't owe them anything. Customer service wrote me a return e-mail saying that I still owed the money. They explained that they had issued me a credit on the first shipment and that my credit company also issued me a credit. So therefore, I stilled owed them the money.

    Today I called customer service and gave them my credit card for payment for the lamp. What really burned me up was the fact that customer service made no effort to check into the situation and they continued to string me along. All of this means that I will no longer do business with them and they have lost an honest customer. Whoever manages customer service needs to be replaced!

The engagement ring was gaudily huge and dominated my finger whereas the stones in the band are minuscule, not a flattering contrast. After 6 months of normal, regular daily wear the plating is already tarnishing and fading, even with regular care taken with the piece. The stone after a few months became slightly cloudy and the shine doesn't even compare to my CZ jewelry and nothing like the picture. I would say it's a nice piece if you're in a pinch until you can buy something more permanent. My husband's band however, looks decent and he likes it. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the product. The shipping time was about average and no complaints there.

    I have called and emailed this company to stop sending me any of their products, to cancel my account and to send a prepaid return label for another item that they have sent.     John Wayne Ford truck: I cannot imagine that you could make this any cheaper. It came 2 months after the delivery date and was so cheaply made that it could not even be compared to a $2.00 Dinky toy. Wheels didn't turn, mirrors not like original, was sooo light (for shipping cost I imagine) it would disintegrate if dropped. Feel sorry for anyone that bought from them.     I placed my first order in December 2016 for Disney items. I went online to track my order and discovered they were part of a subscription plan. I immediately called to cancel the subscription and any future orders. I was given a verbal confirmation that they would cancel the subscription and not send the items. However, since that initial contact I have been charged six times with the total charges in excess of $180.00. After each charge to my credit card, I have contacted Customer Service and sent an email to the company asking to be taken off the subscription plan. But to no avail.

    Not only have they not followed through on cancelling the subscription, the quality of the items is the extremely poor. The customer service is not helpful. And after numerous attempts to cancel these subscriptions, my credit card continues to be charged. Also, it appeared they had double billed me. When I questioned it, they said they were billing me in installments as I had requested. I disputed that as ridiculous as I would never had made that request on an item that I didn't order.

    I have never felt so scammed as I have dealing with this company.

Be aware they are buying cheap product from China and selling to you as made in US for high price.     I ordered a bracelet at the beginning of January. A week later, I started a subscription plan for an entirely different item. The bracelet was 4 payments, of which there have been no problems and 2 have been made. However, the bracelet was shipped to my son's house, more than 2 hours away! I have never put my son's address down for this. This was my first purchase from Bradford, but I have ordered from Hamilton Collection multiple times, without problems. I'm guessing they share information since I did have something from Hamilton, in the past, sent directly to him. Go into my account and sure enough, the shipping address had been changed! Change it back and check on the second order. Not scheduled to be shipped for 2 more weeks, so address should be good.

    The subscription plan was to be made in payments with one payment of $24.49 a month. Two payments for each shipment. First, this was shipped again to my son! Then, February 2nd the second payment taken from bank, as well as the second for bracelet. Ok that's fine. February 3rd, a payment for $49.98 is processing. I call to find out what is going on and am told as soon as one is paid, we send the next one. Not the agreement. This would mean I could be billed again in a few days for #3. And apparently only the first item of a subscription is done in payments, the rest are the whole amount. I tell them to put my money back, that I never agreed to this. He tells me it's already been shipped. Of course who knows where it will go.

    I'm looking at my account which says the next one won't be shipped till March 30th and payment hasn't cleared my bank and they won't ship until they know they have the money. He says he can delete my card so there are no automatic payments anymore and send a paper bill but it will always be the full amount. I told him to delete the subscription and delete my card from the bracelet so they don't screw me there. That money was earmarked for other things. Call the bank to stop payment. They said payment has to go through, then they can dispute it. Little help that is. I thought that because I've never had a problem with Hamilton and they are connected, that this would be the same. Not at all! I won't ever order from them again.

    After being screwed over by Limoges Jewelry for more than 8 months, I found this "My Family, My Love" Name-Engraved Birthstone Ring Set on The Bradford Exchange website. I needed a family ring that would allow for 7 names minimum. "My Family, My Love" was exactly what I was looking for. I placed my order not expecting to receive it before Christmas. In fact, I received a notification that I would receive my ring(s) in mid-February.     I ordered two collectors clocks for Christmas gifts and paid extra to overnight it. I get the clocks and one is fine but one has the second hand inside the clock missing. This is a collector's item so instead of trying to take it apart and fix it ourselves, potentially making it unreturnable, we decide to go through the process of sending it back on January 4th. We received no contact again even though I reached out to the company, until we received a package from them on the 24th. 3 weeks to exchange... TO GET BACK THE SAME CLOCK! Obviously, outraged, I send an email saying "hello. You sent me the same clock back." All they do is send me the generic form on how to exchange for the proper item.

    I really wanted this clock but I refuse to give this company my money. I have reached out, asking them to make it right, saying I would still exchange one more time if they paid for my overnight shipping because that has become completely worthless since it is now a full month past Christmas.     I am extremely disappointed in this company. I know they have been around for a long time & thought they were a reputable company, boy was I wrong! I ordered a necklace for my son, Protection & Strength for my son pendant necklace. It was shipped on Dec. 27, 2016 (so they say), it was supposed to be delivered to my home by Jan.4, 2017.     I find that very hard to believe. Whenever I order merchandise online, I am always given a tracking number right away. There is no way to tell where the package is!!     I ordered the night before Christmas. Arrived in 5 days, very impressive. Opened it, very disappointed, not what I expected. I called Bradford Exchange, and they would cancel my order and send out a returns label... 14 days later received second part to night before Christmas and no return label. 6 weeks later still waiting, after numerous telephone calls, false promises of a refund, being asked for my card number for money to be credited, and calling last week being told "your money has been credited to your bank account", and calling yesterday and being told "oh no its a cheque"... You pay for the goods and payment comes straight out of your account, and it takes up to 10 weeks plus to get a refund. What does this tell you. I am now taking to small claims court. It may only be for a small amount but it is about principle of customer satisfaction...

    I ordered something from Bradford Exchange in December as a gift for someone. I called them on the 21st to confirm that they had shipped it and to confirm my address and info, they had collected payment and still not sent shipping info. I was given a tracking number and told the item would be delivered on December 31st. So I keep updating and refreshing my tracking info to see if it was to be delivered.

    Finally! It was out for delivery. Then I refresh one more time, and it says "Item returned to shipper, incorrect address" Seriously??? I call the Bradford exchange now for the 3rd time and they say call us back in a couple of days so we can reship it to you. I call back, now the 4th time, and they say item is being shipped out tomorrow, tomorrow came and went and I received nothing. So here I am, 1/19 on the phone for the 5th time being told that they never shipped it out again and that it will be shipped in 7-10 business days. I am now on hold for a supervisor.

    I ordered 8 plate holders and they sent 6 and they were the wrong size and 1 was damaged. I sent them an email and called informing them of the problem and they asked me if I opened them and I told them I opened Only 1 and it came damaged. They told me to mark the packages REFUSED, so I did. I received 2 more plate holders. I marked them REFUSED and sent them back.

    I called to see if they received the 8 plate holders and they answered affirmative. THEY TOLD ME I WOULD RECEIVE THE CREDIT IN 5 TO 7 DAYS. That was 2 weeks ago and today I received another shipment. I called and they told me they would refund my money. I told them, by law I could keep the 2 holders because I DID NOT order them.

    When I ordered the coin which was advertised on the TV I thought it was for one coin only. They just kept coming. When I checked with Bradford Exchange they said there were eighteen in the collection and I would receive one per month. I accepted that, but I received five in three and a half months. Two were only three days apart. When I got in touch with them they said as it was around Xmas they kept sending them out. As from now I will receive one per month. I thought this would be OK. Three weeks later I received another coin. I am about to cancel all future coins from them as it seems all they are interested in is getting your money as quick as possible. Do not trust this company as they will tell you lies just to get your money as quick as they can.

    I was supposed to receive a Christmas Village set within 3 weeks of ordering which was no problem because I ordered more than a month before my mother's birthday because it was a gift for her. Her birthday was October 7th and I had not received it by then. I had already emailed Customer Support who took a few days to even reply and when they did, all that was said was that if it didn't arrive within a certain day to email them again. It didn't arrive, I emailed them. She replied that she would have a new one sent out while I was being charged again for something I hadn't even gotten the first part.

    Finally, something did arrive. But it wasn't even the right thing! I ordered a village and a baby with a fire hydrant arrived. I then had to go back and return it, with the actual gift arriving closer to Christmas, but it was not even the full village, only 3 of the 4 houses. Extremely upset with this website, how things turned out, and especially customer service. I am usually very lenient with these types of things but I really don't recommend if in a hurry, and I will most definitely not purchase from here again.

    Growing up The Bradford Exchange was a prestigious, upscale company for the rich in my mind. Many years have passed and I always had that same thought even though I had never purchased anything from them. They had a good reputation. I am a train enthusiast since a kid keeping what few train things I had all my life and still have them. I was shopping for Christmas online when I ran across the limited edition train sets. I have been blessed in my life along with a lot of hard work I am the rich now. Retired at age 42 I had time on my hands. I read all these reviews and again I had TBE on a high horse. I looked past the reviews and took the leap.

    I ordered 2 sets on December 15, 2016. The webpage made it clear I would have these before Christmas. They had 10 days so getting it to me before Christmas was reasonable to just know that can and will happen. Well, another email shows up not even 3 days later saying that "oops" the items will NOT arrive before Christmas blaming it on some bad storm somewhere. I received emails mostly sales wanting me to buy more things. Some were about my orders but honestly they were not helpful at all. They did not make sense when all I needed to know was when will these items arrive to me?? It's now day 20 with no earthly idea where my orders are and when I will have them.

    Here's the thing... each year I purchase 99.9% of Christmas presents online. I buy from Amazon, eBay and Etsy all year long. This past Christmas I purchased 100% of Christmas gifts online. These presents were from every other state in this country, 2 gifts from the U.K., 3 gifts from Australia and 1 from Poland. Every single package was at my door before Christmas making up 14-15 boxes? All the while The Bradford Exchange are sitting on their hands somewhere. ALL those gifts arrive yet NONE encountered any delays caused by a storm? Needless to say I am very upset. Each and every company whether online or storefront have that first time customer purchase that sets the tone for a business relationship. In short that first impression goes a long way with me as it should to everyone.

    I am going to call these people today and see what is going on with my orders that showed in stock and ready to ship 3 weeks ago. I will either hang up satisfied with what I am told or I am cancelling the orders. They are not all that special so I can live without them. If you are reading this please think twice before you place a order of any kind. They are just not with it in this very competitive e-commerce online economy. There are thousands of companies that still do care and treat you as if you are their only customer. A consumer affairs page containing 160+ complaints on this one company is absurd and can't be all lies. A fact of online feedback, complaints, compliments that about 25%-30% of people take the time to do fill them out based on their experience. So these are just a drop in the bucket. I would be interested to see how many customers are aggravated because of Bradford Exchange way of doing business.

    Oh and one last thing - I was so Leary of dealing with The Bradford Exchange because of the horrible service reviews that I did not purchase these trains for anyone at Christmas. They were a present for me, myself and I. I had that gut feeling that I cannot depend on The Bradford Exchange. They had to prove me wrong but so far nothing has been proven in a positive way. Just a extremely important side note in my head saying "NEVER order from The Bradford Exchange".

    I ordered a Hail Mary Statue on 12/13/16 because it guaranteed delivery by 12/21/26. I even called on 12/14/16 to ensure my address change and 12/21/16 delivery.     I received Mary the first of December and that was all that was in the box. I wondered where the rest of the nativity was and a couple days later went on the site and realized each piece of the nativity was going to cost what I paid for Mary. I thought I was receiving all the nativity for the price of $169. Followed the return info on the back of the order and sent it back on December 10. FedEx delivered the package back to the company on Dec 19. I still had not gotten a refund by Dec 26.

    I purchased a Texas Pride Beer stein for my husband as a Christmas gift. Site said guaranteed by Dec 24th. So I ordered on Dec. 13. Well Dec 21st still nothing. Not even a tracking # for the product.     I ordered 5 Chicago Cubs World Series Christmas ornaments online in the beginning of November. They never notified me that the order would be delayed and that I would not receive them by Christmas.     I am never ever buying from them again! On Nov 16th 2016 I ordered a Thomas Kinkade Illuminated Musical Tabletop Nativity Tree! When I got it it looked fine but then I kept noticing little pieces falling off all the time so I got sick of it and I emailed them to tell them I was returning it and wanted a refund. So after finally getting an email they told me I could send it back. If I didn't have the return card I could write down my info, put it inside the box and send it back. So on Dec. 2nd 2016 I sent it back and I looked on the tracking site. It showed it got delivered to them on Dec.5th 2016 so I called them asking them about the refund. They kept telling me they did not get the return yet so I emailed them expressing my anger. And on Dec. 10th 2016 saying they got it back and I would get my refund in 3 to 5 days!

    So I waited a few days. I called them back. They stated they have not received the return yet and then I got real mad. I said, "I got an email saying you got it back and it was processed" and they said no. So then the next day I looked in my bank account to see if my refund was back in there and no it wasn't. In fact they took out another installment payment so I called back there. She said "we will cancel that" and at my bank it shows it is still on hold. So I finally got an email on Dec. 19th saying they got my return and have submitted my refund.

    Well that was the 19th. It is now the 26th. My bank said if they had done that it only takes 3-5 days I would have had it back by now! So I called again. I said, "When did you submit that back on my card". She said on the 19th of Dec. I said "well I thought it takes 3-5 days?" She said it can take 2-3 weeks. I said "omg!!!" So I said, "well I am giving it until tomorrow Dec. 27th 2016 and if my payment of $82.46 isn't back in my account I will be having the bank dispute the two charges $41.23 a piece!" She said "would you like to talk to our supervisor?" I said "no point. I just keep getting the run around and I am done with it!" So I talked to a guy at my bank. He said, "just go in and we will dispute it". So I will if my money isn't back in my account! I have never in my life had a problem with any business like this. I just can't can't believe it! Like I said I am done. Never ordering from them again!

When it arrived, it was just another trinket made in China. What a disappointment! Then... the first one didn't work. When I called customer service I encountered the most rude Mexican female I ever encountered! First she told me Bradford Exchange doesn't send overnight shipments. I JUST RECEIVED ONE!!! She was adamant so I asked for a supervisor. He told me my replacement would ship TODAY overnight with FedEx. BUT IT NEVER ARRIVED!

    We paid $70 for a box that is so small and cheap looking it's terrible. The hinge on one side is loose and the finish is poor and it took more than 4 weeks to get here. Unfortunately one of the hinges was loose and it was poorly made, and $70 for a small box I can get made in China for $8.00 is scandalous. We paid $48 for a larger one and far better quality. Many years ago The Bradford Exchange supplied good products at a reasonable price and the service was good. If you read the reports on the web before you bought anything, you would never buy from this company again. I know I won't.

    My mother expressed that all she wanted was a personalized bracelet with her three children's names. Placed an order for the Family of Love personalized bracelet on the Bradford Exchange website Nov. 18th 2016 with the intentions of getting the item before Christmas (according to their website). Two weeks later I receive an email from them stating that they had issues authorizing my card (Really?!).

    I have called and emailed this co. multiple times in hopes that they would expedite my order so that I could still receive item in time... NO! They told me that my order finally shipped out Dec 15th and probably won't get to me until the 25th of Dec. I am leaving time on the 23rd. What good does that do for me? I checked several days later and the same message appeared. I attempted to contact customer service by phone but was unable to get through. I sent them an email and got no replied.     I placed an order for the John Wayne Ranch Coat which they said was reserved in my name and would ship immediately upon payment. I sent a check on Nov. 26 and it cleared my bank on Dec. 1, so they immediately cashed it. I waited until yesterday, Dec 19 and contacted them, which by itself is not easy as they have no phone number or web except facebook to reach them, and it takes some investigation to figure that out. After they "checked with the factory", I was told they sold out during Thanksgiving. They never told me shipment was delayed until May.     I purchased USMC Hoodie for my son's Marine Graduation. I ordered it Sept 1, 2016 and it was exactly what I wanted. It had a hood, the eagle on the back and I could personalize it with his name. They responded 3 weeks later that this was out of stock and it would not be filled for a couple of weeks. I found another gift for the graduation, and thought I'd give this to my son for his birthday which was the following month. The next month I followed up and they said it was still out of stock, so I improvised again and decided this would become his Christmas gift. 2 weeks before Christmas I checked on the status and was told that this item never did go to production and it is not and never will be available. They have refunded my money and I can look for another jacket on their website.

    This has been such a horrible experience and such poor customer service for me that I will NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. When they say "RESERVE YOURS TODAY" that means pay now so they can use on your money. Then they come back months later after they can't fill your order and have used your money to manufacture some of their other products. It's a total scam!

    Two months ago placed an order with Bradford Exchange item never came. 30 days later and I cancelled. I was never told that I was joined in a subscription that I never signed up for and 30 days later I got a charge on my debit card. I contacted them. They said they couldn't do anything about it because the product had already been mailed to me and would be received in 7 to 10 days. I waited those 7 to 10 days product never came. Call up and check on status and find out it was just shipped yesterday. 10 days later and that they won't refund my money a $48.94 until I receive it and ship it back to them and they want to charge me a restocking fee.

    I never signed up for a subscription and was never told I was in a subscription when I cancelled original order from 2 months ago. My money is being tied up for the next month or two with Bradford Exchange for something I never ordered. I live on Social Security disability and had that money plans for a bill coming in. Now I'm unable to pay that bill and they had no mercy on their era of what they did to me and I don't trust that they will return my money and I'll be back in to complain again. Beware when you want to order something and they sign you up to a subscription you never signed up for.

    On December 1, 2016 I ordered the Marine statue Honor, Courage Commitment Personalized Sculpture. Item no. 116817001. When I went on the computer site it did not give me a shipping and handling choice. It went automatically to standard shipping. When I saw the delivery date between Dec 15 and Dec 30, 2016 I contacted Bradford Exchange and they advised there was nothing they could do, it already went through with my credit card.

    On Dec. 5, 2016 I was on my bank account and I noticed that I was credited my money back which I did not know what happened at that time. I then called Bradford Exchange again who advised me that it will be recharged once it is shipped. That it was at the engraver and could take 2 - 3 weeks before that is complete and then another 7 - 10 days for shipping. I am very dissatisfied with them at this time. No one told me anything about the length of this order and my dad who is a WWII Veteran may not get this for Christmas now.     My wife ordered 2 items and I did as well around the same time. 1st item arrived at her parents house broken (still working to get a replacement). 2nd item received missing pieces in what looked like an already opened and returned box. When my wife wrote them to address this issue, they asked if she had checked the whole box! Lol. Come on. She responded and they told her she'd have to mail it back at her expense and they would replace it. My wife mailed it back a few days ago and we are awaiting their response. 3rd item was mine for my wife for Christmas.

Opened the box to make sure it wasn't broken and the item was a blond little girl angel. Not what I ordered!!! Still waiting for their response to my issue but this is crap. The 4th item is a customized one and I'm hoping they actually get one right. But I will not hold my breath. Unfortunately I did not look for reviews on Bradford Exchange until after I ordered. Not only did it take them 4 weeks to send me the ring but they sent me the wrong size and the engraving was not even close to what I wrote.     Simply this is Buyer Beware! I have been given the run around and all of a sudden told I have to pay for any order in full, despite on their site saying you can pay for the item in installments. They do not list ANYWHERE on their sites any policies regarding the installment plans other than: "Installments are the affordable way to purchase a collection. Your installment charges are deducted about monthly, from the payment method that was authorized at checkout. We do not charge interest on installment plans. Your first installment will be deducted when your first item is selected for shipping from our warehouse.

    “If you buy a collection via Subscription Plan on the Installment Payment Plan, the next issue in the collection will be shipped after all installments for the previous issue are paid in full. This makes collecting both convenient and affordable. After choosing the payment method for the first issue, charges for all subsequent issues in your collection will be deducted from the same payment method. This holds true when purchasing a collection via phone, mail or online."

    And that obviously they are interest free because they are not lending any credit, just time. I was told the reason is I was a newer customer but the order prior that I RETURNED was done on installment plans. I returned the order very quickly after receiving it but they kept telling me it could take up to 30 days to get it and an additional 15 days to process, then I was told it could be manually refunded after 30 days. And beware because this company takes quite a while to send anything, let alone update you. I never did receive order confirmations or shipping confirmations despite their promises that they sent them. if you read other reviews you will see this is a trend. They basically single you out, check your credit score I am now seeing from other reviews, and deny you installment plans based on that even though they have your credit card information. But they deny telling you anything about that.

    I actually am filing a dispute with the BBB on them based on how I have been treated since purchasing the very first dolls from them. The CSRs are rude, and the supervisors are even worse. You are also not allowed to even speak to the credit department and one CSR said "if they took calls from customers they would never get anything done." This company is the worst I have ever dealt with BY FAR. Their quality on the dolls are not up to par despite having talented artists. You find glue in the hair and it isn't' even applied properly. I found out to search for words like "hand rooted" to try to eliminate the problem but if you compare the product to the pictures, they are not even close. If you are interested in one of their products, there are plenty of people out there on eBay or in Doll Stores who will actually take a picture of the item and send it to you before buying it. And not give you a run around.

    They lie, say they called you and unable to reach you, but due to having the availability of knowing who called my phone allows me to see that they did not call, and I have even gone out on the email server and there were no emails that they claim they sent. But I think the fact that they allow a installment plan one minute and not the next, and no policy is on their site, and you are not given any answers via phone or email, is a bit fishy and I am awaiting counsel now to see if it is illegal. Consumers are supposed to know all policies and practices up front and they do not offer that information anywhere. You cannot treat one person different from the other. I am awaiting counsel to see if I can escalate the matter. If I am allowed, be rest assured I will be. This also goes for ASHTON DRAKE.

    BEWARE. THIS COMPANY IS ATTEMPTING TO SCAM YOU. JUST DON'T DO IT. What happened to me was crazy. I made an online purchase for a friend's birthday. The next month I got an email from him saying "thank you for spoiling me." I had no idea what he meant but I was out of town at a funeral. When I got home and reviewed my online statement, I had a charge on my card that I did not recognize from BRADFORD EXCHANGE. So I called them. They said I had ordered a collection of items. My original receipt I received the day I placed the order was for one item and the amount of the only item I thought I purchased.

    I got no further email and no other items in the collection were listed on the original invoice. When I spoke to them they said "oh the word collection means there are other items" and I should have know that. I said why was it not itemized or why did I not get an email telling me the other items had been shipped something so I knew what was going on. After speaking to a supervisor, I was told same thing. The word "collection" means more than one item and if I returned the items they would give me a refund. But how can I ask my friend for an item that he clearly thinks I meant to send him. So just be aware that the word collection means we will be charging you for more items.

    You will not get anything that tells you what those items are or when they have been shipped so if you buy a gift you will not even get the items as a warning that something is wrong. This to me is a scam. If they had printed on my original invoice the other items in the collection and the cost of each I would have known there was a problem. But no other emails or invoices were ever sent or received. Just the bill on my credit card and the thank you from my friend. NEVER AGAIN trust this company.

    My wedding ring set that I designed myself are stunning, my fiance's is very nice as well. Very big, very sparkly, engraving is great. How they hold up I don't know yet. Now the ordering and shipping are a big headache. You're never sure of when you're gonna receive your item. They even canceled our order at one point, and I had to reorder under my Mother's account. If you need something in a hurry I would not suggest ordering from them. We were very scared we wouldn't get our rings before our special day. Thankfully everything turned out great.

The faces on the characters looked like they had been painted by 4-year-olds.     I found out the hard way that The Bradford Exchange sells their customer information. A few months after I had ordered a clock as a Mother's Day gift I started receiving a ridiculous amount of solicitations. I can't begin to put a number on the amount of phone calls and mailers that I received from charities, fundraisers and various organizations. It became clear that something was going on so I started asking callers where they got my info. I would also call the senders of the mailers and ask them the same question. More times than not, I was informed that my information was obtained by "The Bradford Exchange" or "The Bradford Group".

    I called The Bradford Exchange customer service and was told that my info must have been hacked when I placed my online order and that they only share info within the Bradford Group. I doubt that The Bradford Group contains; Saint Joseph's Indian School, Saint Jude's Hospital, Foundation for American Vets, or Heifer International (and the list goes on and on). I hope that someday The Bradford Group is hit with a class action. You have been warned, BUYER BEWARE!!!

    A custom order with Bradford Exchange in July 2016, for my mother's 75th birthday which was in September 2016. The item was absolutely gorgeous. I placed the order in a timely manner in July, so that I would have ample time to receive the item prior to my mother's birthday celebration. Needless to say I never received the item, but my credit card was charged the 3 complete payments. When I ordered from this company I had a reasonable expectation, but my expectations were not met. This was absolutely devastating.

    I called the company 16 September 2016 only to be kept on hold for 20 minutes and when they did answer I was told it should have arrived already.     I have received a phishing scheme email from The Bradford Exchange which includes a $99 invoice for a Songbird Stone Plaque (side note: what is that and why would anyone need one?!?). The email is made to appear to be a response to an order request and includes an order number, a customer number, and my childhood home's address (where I haven't lived for 20 years). This method basically forces people into buying something they never ordered by making them think they owe Bradford Exchange money and that their credit will be affected if they don't pay for the garbage they didn't order to begin with.     I ordered an Elvis handbag on August 21. It said it was in stock. I needed the handbag for a birthday present for a party on September 2. When I placed my order my credit card was immediately charged. I also got an email the next day that said my order shipped and it told me where to go to check my orders status. When I went to their web page to track my order it said that it shipped August 23 and it gave a FedEx tracking number. When you check the tracking number FedEx says they have no record of it. Bradford used the UPS deal where UPS picks it up and then turns it over to USPS for delivery. It was delivered six days later with my regular mail delivery. I was away from home and did not see the email confirmation until 2 days later. The item could have been put in a first class padded mailer for probably less than $5.     The total with shipping and handling was $59.90; I opted for the two installments of $20.00 (wording a little confusing during and after purchase for how they will be split and when installment is charged). A charge of 29.95 was immediately taken out of my account and held for pending. The next day, I received an email stating that the item was shipped out with the order number and I was being charged the $29.95. When I looked at my account, the 'pending' had been changed to purchase.

    Two days later, I received an identical email from them stating it had been charged and shipped. I checked my bank account and there had been another $29.95 charged as 'pending'. I called and asked about this. After a long and very confusing conversation with the CS Rep (as she was repeating what I had told her and didn't seem to understand the problem) I was finally told that they take out the first charge as a pending charge when the order is taken and then the second identical amount as the purchase. Basically I have two charges now unavailable to me until the second pending charge gets lifted (which I am told will happen in the next 7 to 10 days).

    It seems like a low amount but we live paycheck to paycheck and have a lot we pay out in overhead for our job weekly; had I wanted to just purchase the item for the total amount, the difference is very little. I don't even stay at hotels anymore for this very reason unless the vacation is budgeted to pay double because of the 'hold' on credit card pending charges. Had I known this, I would not have ever purchased this item and it will be the last item I do purchase from them. I am only glad to have learnt this on a small item instead of the others I was contemplating.

    Ordered doll May 29th 2016. Received an invoice stating that it shipped out on that date. Credit card was used and paid on June 1st 2016. Told by customer service it would be there by June 10th 2016. Called again on June 15th 2016. Doll was reordered with the company offering to cover 2 day shipping (FedEx) and reassurance that it would be there no later than Monday the 20th 2016. NOTHING!

    My mother has shopped at Bradford for a long time. Last year she fell down and broke her arm, had surgery, dementia set in. She is now in a senior home. My mother asked me to order her 3 sons bracelets for Father's day which I did, they took my order and my mom's money. About a week and a half-2 weeks later she gets a letter stating that last year she missed a 38 dollar payment and they were holding the bracelets until I cleared it up. The letter stated that they would ship the bracelets when she reduced her balance or paid in full. I called to pay the 38 dollars and was told she had to pay the outstanding balance and full payment of the bracelets even though I explained the situation and she has been a good customer for years.

    I don't understand why they did not tell me about the balance when I placed the order. They made me pay everything which is very hard for an 86 year old on a small pension. It wasn't until everything was said and done that I was informed the bracelets now will not be here for Father's day. My mother is devastated, she now has no gifts for her sons and no more money to get anything else for them. It is really said how greedy we have become in this country. You lead a hard working honest life for 86 years and then get treated like a criminal over an honest 38 dollar mistake.

    I purchased a personalized necklace for my daughter's graduation. Not only did it not come in time but when it did come it was wrong. When I contacted customer service they sounded like robots and said they would put in a new order and it would take 3 to 4 weeks. She said there was no new order number and if it didn't show up in 3 to 4 weeks they would credit me back. I will never order from this company again!!!

    My husband ordered me a mother's ring on May 2nd with the headline on their website reading "Guaranteed Mother's Day delivery." Mother's Day came...no ring. Then I checked the status of my order and it said, "Will arrive by May 16th." May 16th came...no ring. I checked again. Now it says, "Delivery by May 23rd." Still no ring. Checked again. "Delivery by June 27th"!!! My husband called Customer Support and they said there is nothing they can do. "The ring will SHIP in June 27th." NEVER, EVER, EVER WILL THIS "business" get our money again.

    I have been ordering products from this company for years. I am very discouraged that I ordered the Charlie Brown Anniversary in November 2015 and all I get is "your shipping date has been changed". I have been receiving these for months. The last one I received was it was to ship on 6/4/2016. Now I received one to ship on 8/4/2016. We are working on almost a year as of November 2016. I will never order anything again from this company. When I call all I get is "you don't understand". I do. I've ordered items for years but no more. This is a bunch of **.

    I want to encourage people to be very careful if ordering anything from this company. I had not read what is on ConsumerAffairs about this company when I ordered. Had I done so, I would never have trusted them with an order. In early March I ordered a "Home of The Brave" hoodie that the company had sent an email about through my Vietnam Veterans of America membership. I ordered another veteran's hoodie at the same time. The other one came within two weeks, but the "Home of the Brave" hoodie did not. I contacted them to ask why and they said that it was back ordered and that it should come May 2.

    On May 2, it did not come so I emailed them and they said it was coming May 20. On May 20 I emailed as it had not come yet, and then they told me some totally fabricated story that they had sent me a letter explaining the product was delayed and that I had opted to continue waiting. That was totally untrue. In their email they offered to refund my money but by then I had read what the CA website was saying and how some people requested refunds but never received any, so I just said I still wanted the hoodie. Now they say IT WILL NOT COME UNTIL AUGUST 14! I fail to see how this company can stay in business. Please put out the word that this Bradford Exchange CANNOT BE TRUSTED! Some legal entity needs to prosecute them and close them down.

    I have ordered 2 rings from Bradford Exchange and have had nothing but a great experience with both rings. They both look so real, no one can tell they aren't. I chose not to have mine personalized but overall my experience has been wonderful and I will continue to order from them. I have emailed them to check on orders and have been notified within 24 hours.

    My husband loved the train sets he could order from this company. Thought he would start a new hobby. I told him "This is like a club. You order one train set, and they won't quit sending them!" Sure enough, that's what happened! These sets are extremely high priced, and after he completed one set, they kept sending them! Some he did not even order! Some were even broken! He sent the broken ones and ones we did not order back! But they keep billing us and sending threatening letters! He had called them and told them he does not owe anything. He sent all of them back that he did not want! They said it's taken care of, but the bills keep coming! The trains finally stopped, I think! But how does this place stay in business??? They are horrible people!

    My friend purchased a wedding ring from Bradford Exchange. She has yet to receive her purchase. It has been almost a month. There are no contact numbers for her to speak with any representative in regards to her order. She has sent many emails and none of the responses have addressed her concerns. It is sad that someone has to wait for a ring for their special day, especially when the purchase was made in advance. It is an outrage. If anyone at the company was going through what my friend is going through they would be completely pissed off and upset. The company should really create better policies and procedures for addressing their customer's concerns.
