    I was given a price after ordering online, then Bradford ended up increasing the price. After speaking with a customer representative she transferred me to the rewards department, they didn't understand why she had done that since they weren't able to help me either. They transferred me back to the same representative. I then asked her to transfer me to her supervisor. I spoke with Cheryl, she wasn't able to help me either. Terrible way to do business by increasing the price after the fact. I'll never do business again with Bradford Exchange or ever recommend them to anyone. Date of experience: July 09, 2024

    Purchase an item from this site and I was subscribed to pay so many things after. Not a happy customer and will never buy from them. I got 6 charges from this site and customer service was horrible. They didn't help either.

    If there was a way to select a NEGATIVE star, I would do so. Even one star doesn’t explain how illegal/wrong Bradford Exchange Company is to their customers and United States. The copy/paste email I received EVERY TIME I hadn’t heard or had seen my item, “Sorry…it’ll be 30 days more…”…spiel is even worse! My order was official in March 2024, it is now June 2024. No refund, no item! Too bad KC Chiefs whom have lawyers & money to shut Bradford Exchange down couldn’t help because my item was a $300 KC Chiefs ladies' ring! Lesson learned! China/India/Spam wins again, I guess. It makes you wonder what Consumer Affairs has done or can do with all these complaints since Bradford Exchange Company is still able to steal from people aka run a business! The ** people will never know!

    I approved my checks as Thomas (my first name) and the checks came in as Thsae. Such an obvious mistake that I would have noticed it. The company emailed me that it was my fault and refused to issue new checks. Never again. If you approve your checks and they make a mistake, it IS now your fault for trusting them. PS why do they have a low rating? Why are you reading these ratings if you still go with them?

    Kept telling me I owed them money months after payment through credit card. After sending multiple emails with proof of payment, sending it through USPS with proof, and phone calls and getting nowhere I contacted my state's attorney general's office, and they are assisting me with help. OHHHH and they say one price online but when you are charged it is more money so check your accounts. NEVER AGAIN. I also contacted the FTC and the Consumer Protection Agencies.

    Beware of this place. Smary, dishonest & unethical business practices. Ordered "on sale" checks. Bradford Exchange did a bait and switch - substituted the most expensive checks, charged for a designer checkbook, padded postage and enrolled me in an auto pay rewards program without my knowledge or consent. At the moment I am contesting the Bradford Exchange charges with the bank. I also had the bank issue a new card with different info in addition to blocking Bradford Exchange for tapping into my account.

    This company is horrendous and very shady. Do not order anything from them. I ordered two patriotic statues. I received one. I never received the other. Now they keep billing me for “subscriptions” I haven’t signed up for or agreed to, and no matter how many times I call, they keep billing me. Almost a year later, they just sent me a statue that I didn’t order. Now I have the hassle of rejecting it since it was never ordered. They are crooks and they are operating a typical internet scam. I wish I had read the reviews before I ever ordered anything from them. Buyer beware.

    My experience; there are numerous phone numbers listed to call this company. Each one leads to a busy message with an option to stay in the queue and have the company call you back. The callback doesn't come for HOURS, and came from yet another number entirely. The woman I spoke with was VERY slow, would not communicate well (spoke English well but took forever to respond to any question I had), and then ended the call without notifying me that the phone call had terminated. My opinion... stay away from The Bradford Exchange! This company seems more of a scam than legitimate.

    Wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. I got a order for for a beautiful mother's ring for up to 8 names and birthstones since I have 4 kids and 4 grandkids. I ordered it. Just got it today. Was the most shoddy piece of garbage I'd ever seen. Nothing like the photo. Made in china. Soo sad and disappointed. Can't read the kids' names or see the stones. Threw it all in the bag and am sending it back. Don't order from this company.

    I ordered two purses on 4/14/2024. They were not needed until June 15th, and my receipt stated they would be here no later than May 14th. I followed up with customer service who told me that they wouldn't have the order until later in June. I replied, "Could you put a rush on this? I ordered it in April." The response I received was that I should have used "Express Shipping" when I placed the order. I didn't need express shipping, when the occasion was two months away, but this was your mistake!

    I am very disappointed Bradford Exchange. I ordered a 3-piece welcome sign in November of 2023, it's now the end of May 2024 I have yet to receive the whole thing, they continually take money out of account and pieces I have received DO NOT look like they are worth $400.00!! I am saddened and disgusted with the cost of this sign. I will say their customer service representatives were kind and patient.

    These people are straight up thieves. They sell one coin, and automatically create you a subscription. Doesn't matter if you agree to it or not. Then they take out 3 times the amount of the coin out of your account without your permission. I even blocked my card, and they still send the coin then you have to jump through their hoops to return it, and cancel the subscription you never signed up for in the first place.

    After initial order confusion, I received cold cast bronze statue. It's PLASTIC! Nothing but plastic that has been painted. 100 dollars for plastic junk. Never again will I buy from Bradford! Flat out ripoff. Misrepresented and cheap as could be made.

    Please make sure what you are signing up for when you purchase an item. I purchased a full set of $2 bills and after 60 days I started getting billed again for each item. I had copies of all the charges on my two charge cards but I ended up paying twice on half of the order. Do not waste your money with this company.

    Fool me once, shame on you! Well shame on me! I thought the first disaster waiting 3 months for delivery of a music box that didn’t play because it wasn’t glued correctly might be a fluke. Stupidly, I placed another order on 3/10 for a personalized gift (3 letter engraving) that still has not arrived as of May 9th! Mind you, a 3-year old could have done the engraving! Poorly manufactured products, delivery time is ridiculous, and bad customer service! Never again!

    I had previously ordered my personal checks through the Bradford Exchange several years ago. I needed to order new checks with my new address so I went back to them since they had my data stored. To ensure safety, I paid an extra fee for processing and delivery. Since I had a new address, I also decided to order return address labels at the same time. Well, the checks arrived (although not within the timeframe advised based on the extra fee I paid) but not the return address labels. After 15 business days had passed, I sent an email to their customer service department. They advised that they would request a replacement set to be processed and mailed.

    Well the next 15 business days passed and I still do not have the labels. Another email to their customer service to request a refund this time. So my advice, DO NOT order anything from this company as they do not stand behind their orders and in my case never really bothered to process them to begin with. I won't make this mistake again.

    I placed an order on January 3, 2024, for the Yorkie Christmas tree & was given an estimated delivery in mid-March. On March 1, I contacted the company for an update. They said they had mailed me a letter (which I never received) saying there was a delay. The new estimate was April 11. I inquired for status again on April 5. The reply was a new estimated arrival of JULY 15, more than six months after my order was placed. Needless to say, I canceled the order. I would not order from this company.

    Ordered 2 times from this place, both orders were rings. First one came in not even looking like the pic. I returned it. The second one came in all tarnished. Wasn't even gold or gold plated. All that was around it was just metal in some spots and blue. Never will buy from them again.

    If I could give a zero, I would. I ordered a jacket for my father as a Christmas present, it arrived in the wrong size, I returned it with all of the required paperwork and return authorizations, and now 4 months later still have not received a replacement. I've brought this to the attention of their Customer support twice now, and both times I was told that there was a delay in the replacement shipment because they don't have stock. Today (April 26th) I've asked for a full refund. We'll see if I get it. The jacket was more than $200. This place is a ripoff and they've had my money for nearly 5 months.

    I ordered checks 5 months ago. Bradford Exchange added a 01 to my account number. Some check were processed but then they started being rejected by the bank. Come to find out the 01 that was added to the account number was the problem. I called and I was not offered any compensation. I had to pay $50 to people who I wrote checks to. I will never use this company again. Not only that I was totally embarrassed. I was told it was 2 months over the time they would compensate me!

    I saw on line an advertisement for a collection of walking Liberties. The cost was $21.94. Their site never gave any other information other than the $21.94 cost and it said monthly shipments. I thought ok that is a good deal. I have bought walking liberties from gold companies and this is an average range. I went ahead and signed up. I figured when I got the coin there would be more information on the collection. Nothing at all, there was an invoice with no $ amount, odd! 3/25 I get charged $71.32. I call. The Rep says the payment is spilt in half. You will owe for 1 coin every month 142.65. Nope this is fraud. Stop everything! I'm now fighting with them. I have attached emails. This is a scam at the highest level.

    I do not buy this garbage yet they send me multiple emails daily. I have been using their UNSUBSCRIBE button in these mailings to no avail. I have sent communications via their contact us link. They respond with it has been removed. It has been months and I still get emails. This company and their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered.

    NO! NO! NO! Never order from Bradford. We have had FIVE orders, made by family members, go wrong: Orders that were never processed. Billing totals that were now what was authorized. They lie about "we did contact you," when they did not. Orders that processed inaccurate information that was NOT what we typed in for the order. And worse, a ROTTEN Customer Service Department, that offers dishonest excuses, because they NEVER admit their mistakes. We are done, done, done with Bradford Exchange.

    I ordered a snow globe early December as a Xmas gift. Got an invoice and shipping date to arrive before Xmas. This did not arrive before Xmas. They said it would arrive in March. This did not arrive in March. Then they said it would arrive in April. It did arrive in April. When it arrived in April, I received 2 when I only ordered 1. Now they keep charging me for 2 snow globes when I only ordered one, and their shipping date was off by 4 months. Terrible and annoying experience. Be careful at this place.

    The Bradford Exchange takes money and does not send you the product. I've gone back and forth with them. They told me they never received the initial payment which is 1/3 of the bill. Then how come I received a bill for the final 2/3 of the cost of the item somebody got a third of it. I stopped payment on the other check. I'd advise people to go somewhere else, I'm anywhere else. So far the item I ordered cost me $100 out of pocket and then they still want more

    I ordered the silver dollar quarters and thought I was just ordering 1! To my surprise or ignorance I signed up for a subscription which it really does not say that. I was charged $61.68 3 times in 3 days!!!! I called Bradford and was told was suppose to be charged once every 10 days. Yeah right! This company scams way too much. This is very disgusting and confusing. I can't stand this company.

    I ordered item in January. Supposed to be delivered mid-March. I checked status and found order canceled 3/8. No notice or any info. Contacted customer service, told out of production, no longer available. Really? Why was I not notified when I ordered this item or prior to this just being canceled? Horrible way to conduct business. Can no one at Bradford do simple math. If you have 1000 items available and I'm order 1025 ok can see it being sold out but notify me of this, don't lead me to believe I'm getting this item only to find out you canceled my order and didn't even bother to let me know. What a terrible way of running a business. I see now the terrible reviews Bradford is getting and all I can say is this is NOT a company you want to do business with. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

    I bought the Amityville Horror house. They said more houses would come about once a month, but they sent them every two weeks, which was way more than I wanted or could afford. I called and straightened that out for a while but then they started coming super fast again. I tried to call twice and just got left on hold until I gave up. I went to my account on their web site and there is no place to click on to stop a series, and not even a place to change my billing. Moreover, the FAQ page has nothing about either subject. They get you on the hook and then make it almost impossible to cancel. I will never do business with them again.

    DO NOT sign up for a subscription service. In May 2023, I signed up for the Harry Potter Hogwarts House Flameless Candles. They were to be released once per month starting in June 2023. Signing up for the subscription guaranteed I would not miss one. The description directly on the site states "These flameless candles pay homage to each of the 4 HOGWARTS Houses, and the iconic HOGWARTS CREST™, with high-relief sculpted House mascots, the House name banner and a matching base with the metallic-finished House color". So 5 candles, correct? NOT SO FAST! I was billed accordingly for 5 months and received all the candles that were listed. The quality is definitely substandard, but I'm a huge HP fan so I didn't return them. I had received my 5 candles and went on with life.

    Several months after I received the last one, I was billed again out of the blue. When I called to inquire as to why I was being charged, the customer service rep informed me that I signed up for the subscription. I told her I understood that, but I had received the entire set already, so there should have been no need to cancel. She informed me that although at the time of my order the set only contained the 5 listed candles, they had recently added 3 more candles (Fluffy, Hedwig, and Horntail) to the subscription. Now I'm no genius, but I do know that those 3 are NOT Hogwarts Houses.

    She also informed me that subscriptions just don't simply end once you receive your items. They continually add items to subscriptions. For this set, they would be adding items for the next several years until the set was completed with 30 candles. She stated that a subscription meant that I would be charged for any item they added to the collection, at any time, without notification because I signed up for it.

    I tried to explain to her that NOWHERE in the description did it say the set was for 30 candles. It clearly states the subscription is for the Harry Potter Hogwarts House Flameless Candles and NOT for any other character they decided to add to the collection and IF they were going to be adding other items to the collection, then they should update the description to Harry Potter Flameless Candle Collection. She told me she could cancel the subscription but not refund me for the newest item I was charged for until I returned it. Buyer beware when you use this company's subscription service.

    Placed order 1/30/2024 for wedding rings via phone with a rep named "Leahan". At the time of placing order I asked for confirmation that our rings would arrive before our wedding date -February 24, 2024. I was told they would actually arrive by Valentine's Day (Feb 14th). I checked the status and account information showed a ship date of 2/9/2024.

    Today (2/9/2024) I checked the status of order and it now states rings will not be shipped until March 14th! NOT acceptable. I have been on the phone on hold for over an hour. I have tried all the various numbers on the website- still no live person to talk with. I have also sent emails to customer service and no response. After almost an hour (57 min and 25 sec) of being on hold a live rep answered (Gabby) and she asked me details about the order and then asked me to hold again for an additional 21 minutes so she could check on the order.

    Gabby got back on the phone and said she could not explain why the order will not ship until March 14th. At this point I told her to cancel the order, I said DO NOT charge my credit card ( they were already given all this info when I placed the order). I also requested an email stating the order was cancelled and she hung up on me without responding to that last request.

    I will update this thread. Hopefully the order is cancelled and there is no charge to my account. If there is a charge I will continue to post socially about this issue so others are not in the bind we are currently in. Buy locally- buy from small local businesses. The world is changing and companies do not have the same sense of loyality as small business owners.

    I purchased over 10 months ago some new checks from The Bradford Exchange Online. Apparently somehow I accepted to purchase The Bradford Exchange Rewards Program - have NO IDEA how I did that. I then was charged $14.95 a month after that, but I did not notice it in my credit card bills for 10 months. When I contacted them they said, "It is obvious that you were not using the service as you have done nothing for 10 months. We are a company hired by The Bradford Exchange to handle their complaints. But, if I get my supervisor's approval I can only refund 6 months." They said it would take 3 to 5 days for the refund to appear on my Credit Card.

    10 days later when nothing appeared. I called. They told me, "I don't know why that has not happened, so we will send you a check and it will take 10 business days to get to you." 15 business days later I noticed that 6 months was refunded to my credit card. I have to take responsibility for not seeing the on-going charge on my credit card for 10 months, and learned a lesson that Big Business will make it easy for you to "sign up" for something without giving you proper notice of just what you are doing. Obviously, I could never trust this company again. They got $60 bucks out of this senior citizen and I could tell when talking to the representative that MANY others have fallen into the same trap.

    I was overcharged twice by Bradford Exchange and called to cancel and receive a reimbursement. I was told that I could receive a reimbursement after the pending shipment was received, that all the notes concerning the reimbursement were in the system, and that I should call back after receiving the shipment. I did call back, but was told there were no notes in the system and that I would have to return the items overcharged for in order to receive reimbursement.

    I purchased the Thomas Kinkade snow kissed memories tabletop tree from The Bradford Exchange Canada for my wife for Christmas on Nov. 21/23. When it arrived we decided it was very poor quality and looked nothing like the picture and decided to return it for a refund so I called them the next day for directions on how to return it and receive a refund. The Bradford exchange customer service person I talked to sent me a US Post label and said to take it to it to Canada Post and they would accept it. Upon arriving at Canada Post they informed me that I need a Canadian label and would not accept it. I returned home and called again and this time I was sent a Canadian label and returned to Canada Post and it was accepted on Nov. 22 and I received notification they received it a few days later.

    As for the refund it’s now Jan. 1/24 and still haven’t received it. I’ve sent several emails to them and all I get is a response that it could take up to 30 days to process it. They seem like a very shady company and my wife and I are starting to think that we will never see a refund. We are retired seniors and it was a stretch financially buying this Christmas Tree and are very disappointed in the way we’ve been treated. So we just want to warn potential customers of the Bradford Exchange to beware before you make a purchase.

    Purchased the Thomas Kinkade Christmas tree with lights, motion, music. Some of the candles do not light up. And it completely stops working after a couple minutes of running. The store I purchased it from closes down until Spring and I was unable to return it. It was purchased as a gift for a family member. I called Bradford Exchange to see if they could do something. They told me that since I did not purchase it directly online so they could not help. Any good manufacturer backs up their products. This company is not one of them.

    I purchased a marine's jacket for my grandfather 3 weeks ago when it said it would be delivered December 22nd. Only to find out 2 days after it was supposed to arrive it said it would be delivered February 6th. That is a couple months out from when I needed. Unfortunately I received no emails in advance From Bradford Exchange. They were extremely hard to GET ahold of and very unprofessional because they did not notify me or sent an email on how late my package would arrive. Only for them to offer me $10 in exchange.

    I ordered a light-up Dragon Sculpture Plasma Ball as a Christmas gift for my nephew. At the time of ordering, the offer showed several different dragons (I believe it was 3 or 4) to choose your first of the series from. Of these, I chose the most dynamic one that my nephew would like the most (several being drably painted, and not in as visually exciting a pose). When completing my order, it gave me the option to purchase this sculpture individually, instead of the subscription plan, which I did, confirmed by the "solo" description in shipping information on my account on their website.

    I received the package from the Bradford Exchange, a week later, no distress or damage to the package, and put it on a shelf in my closet until I opened it tonight, Christmas eve to put batteries in before wrapping, to find both wings are broken off. This was very evidently caused by being shoved into soft foam packaging shell that did not have space enough to accommodate the unfurled dragon wings. This I discovered after supergluing the wings back on and trying to put the sculpture back into the packing for wrapping (so I would have a Christmas present for my nephew in the morning). The sculpture wings would not fit into the opening, and one came off again, had to be reglued, with the softfoam packaging needing to be carved out to have space for the wings to fit, in order to rewrap it in its original box.

    Upon going to the website to register a complaint, I discovered that they had included me in the subscription plan even though I chose the specific Dragon as a solo purchase, opting out of the subscription, and another dragon is now on the way, with my card being charged. Checking their site, I see that the original advertisement for the dragon plasma ball has now been altered to only allow to order as a subscription, also now only showing the dragon ball which I ordered, none of the rest of the series being visually represented anywhere.

    So now I am being sent a dragon sculpture that I did not order, I had to check other sites selling the "flame guardian" to see the next one they sent me, and recall why I didnt choose it as my solo purchase out of the set in the first place. I am now forced to cancel a subscription that I never ordered, to prevent being shipped a new dragon sculpture monthly, or as new ones are produced, indefinitely until cancelled, and most likely to have pay shipping to return the sculpture now on its way to me, to receive a refund.

    Ordered two collective coins for my grandkids for Christmas. First of all no tracking system nor could the company provide me a delivery date based on my phone call. Eventually the coins arrived but late. I decided to return them as I found the same coins at half the costs on another website. Upon calling I'm being told another set of coins are also on the way of which I did not order. Now I'm also being charged for them and must return to get a refund. When talking to the supervisor, I'm being told they automatically ship every 28 days as part of a collection. I stated that my original order was placed on 10 Dec 23 and this conversation was on 21 Dec 23. I stated it wasn't 28 days so why were they shipped? Then she changed her story to 14 days. Even if 14 days, it still wasn't past their deadline to cancel, once again I placed on 10 Dec 23 and this call was 21 Dec 23.

    Needless to say I'm now being charged on 4 coins I don't want, 2 of which I never ordered and have yet to receive. With the return label provided by them, the post office states there is no tracking system nor will there be proof they are returned. Any chance of a refund will be 4 to 6 weeks out of which I'm at their mercy. At the rate this company operates I'm holding my breath on a refund and wouldn't put it past them if they said they never received the returned coins.

    I order four book of checks. I did a mistake on the bank account numbers, I expend 40.00 on the order and I could not sent them back to get the checks re-done. I lost 40.00. Lesson learn. Will not order online again.

    I purchased the Thomas Kinkade "Christmas Story House" from them at a cost of $179.99 a year ago. The house is very nice but, from the start it wasn't working properly. The story would skip and not finish. I called Bradford Exchange, but couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I sent them an email to no avail. I thought it might be the adaptor so, I wrapped the plug and it seemed to work good. I just put it up and nothing is working. I guess I am going to have to see if I can find another adaptor as when I called Bradford Exchange they told me they couldn't help me and I need to go to a hardware store and get an adaptor.

    I had placed 2 orders for different Christmas decorations that looked really cute on the website. Sadly, one showed up that doesn't light up at all like the pictures display. The 2nd shows up in pieces and I'm told it's a collection that will be shipped over the next several months (no, I'm NOT kidding). So a 3ft tall Christmas tree w/ Santa, his toys, the nativity scene and who knows what else, will be shipped one piece per month, for 6 months I'm told by their customer service reps who speak English as their 6th language. Absolutely ridiculous! So I'm processing my returns and refunds as I type this, I'm told no further payments will be charged to my card but I'm pretty confident that there's going be additional headaches coming my way. What a complete joke!!

    I purchased what I thought was a set of 4 archangels. I only received one. I thought, "Okay, my fault for not checking to make sure it included the 4" and I let it go. A month later I get a “membership charge.” I call the company to tell them I did not agree to this and dispute it with my credit card. Just when I think it’s over, the next month I get another charge for a higher amount. I will never buy from this company again. They get a hold of your credit card and keep charging you. I must also mention that their products are pricey to begin with.

    I ordered a Freedom Chopper Cuckoo Clock in September 2023 from the Bradford Exchange online for $165.00, paid for it through my PayPal account, it was delivered to me in October 2023. The package had another person's name above my address, no problem. After contacting customer service they informed me that my credit card declined the charge. I asked them for the last four digits of the card and informed them it was not mine. Then they assigned my name to the person's account whose name was on my package and they demanded $271.00 for the clock.

    After sending my PAYPAL transaction and a copy of my credit card statement showing the Bradford Exchange transaction they still refuse to acknowledge my purchase. Now November 2023 the clock stopped working I contacted customer service, they sent me a return label I shipped the clock back, now they informed me they will not replace my defective product unless I pay them, the Bradford Exchange is a fraud company to deal with.

    I ordered the Disney Christmas collection. I choose the 3 payment option not realizing you don’t not get the next shipment till the 1st one is paid. I had 10 emails and 5 calls into the company to pay it in full with no luck. 6th time calling and they assured me that they will charge my account in full for the next shipment. Well today I had to call again as nope they did not charge me the full balance and they cannot take my money to have it paid in full. This time I asked for a supervisor. I doubt he is a supervisor but he said when I receive my shipment call them again and make full payment. I know once I do this it is going to end up with them telling me, "I’m sorry. You're on autopay and we cannot take your payment like before."

    I thought this company was a well respected company. The products are beautiful but it isn’t worth the hassle to get anyone that knows anything to get an issue resolved. I’m so disappointed as I was looking forward to getting the next set after this one. They aren’t cheap. $88.00 for each tiny house and I planned on getting all 10 of them. Their loss. Buyers beware!

    I purchased 2 box of plain standard single page checks for $5.99. I did standard shipping & handling for $2.95 and tax was to be .63 cents for a grand total of $9.57. This was the amount quoted to me when I placed the order online. This was the amount an email sent to me a day later said. Imagine my surprise when they took $27.18 out of my bank account. When I called customer service they said well, "You ordered 7 years ago and since you ordered once in the past it costs much more." I asked why that wasn't quoted to me on the follow up email stating what they would be charging and they had no answers...but the checks have been mailed so too late so sorry. I asked to talk to a supervisor and she said it would b a long wait...I said that is perfectly fine. After a half hour she came back and acted like she couldn't hear me and hung up.     First one music didn’t work... Sent it back… Got another one and the lettering is wrong and it wasn't my spelling. It was their permanent lettering that I couldn’t change… The item is in Madrid Spain… It was a birthday gift to my granddaughter… They won’t pay for the shipping back to US and therefore won’t do anything about the item… LOVE is in big capital letters with the O being a globe with a butterfly inside… They sent it to me EOVE… So expensive… Won’t order from them again.

    I ordered a ring which my fiance wanted. The first time I ordered it, I selected "pay in full" as my payment option. Bradford exchange charged me, debited my account and indicated "Your item is shipping, today!" Three days later, I received notice that "There was a problem with your payment and your order has been cancelled." However, the payment had already been cleared and - more than three weeks later, I could not get either a refund or the item shipped. Eventually, I was refunded, more than a month later. Like an idiot, I thought, "My fiance really wants this ring, I'll consider the bad experience a mistake and try again with a completely fresh order."

    I reordered the ring. I received another confirmation of order, more shipping information (including tracking info which showed a package leaving Ohio with my address as final destination) and, within three days, the package had made it all the way to Morrow, Georgia which is just about three hours away from me. Now, more than a month later, that package is *still*sitting in Morrow, Georgia. The Bradford Exchange knows nothing other than "We shipped the package as promised!" and "UPS Mail Innovations Expedited" (the "shipping company") apparently doesn't exist.

    I've found literally THOUSANDS of people online who claim "Once your package reaches Morrow, Georgia, you will never see or hear about it, again!" This simply MUST be a scam. I know of no other legitimate business who could possibly be so careless and/or irresponsible as to lose the same order twice and to not care at all on both occasions. With me, there will be no "third strike'. I'll NEVER order from these people again and I'll NEVER trust them again. I'm seriously considering registering the domain name "bradfordexchangeonlinescam.com" and opening it up to the public for comments...

    This company uses the most deceptive and downright dirty tactics. I bought a collectible from them for my stepdad for Christmas. First off, the shipment was two weeks after they told me it would be delivered. Sucks for Christmas, but I understand. No biggie. Two months later, ANOTHER gift was sent to my stepdad that I didn't order and $64 was gone from my account. When I contacted them about the purchase, they told me that the initial gift was part of a series, and because I ordered part of a series, I was automatically signed up to order the rest of the items in a series. I was given no indication, notification, or option to opt-out. Just, "Hey, thanks for the order. Get ready for the rest of them because it's a series. Oh, you don't want the rest of the series? Tough luck."

    After spending a few hours going round and round with different managers, I was able to get a PARTIAL refund. Not a full refund, a PARTIAL refund. So after that, I went ahead and canceled my account. TURNS OUT that because I placed ONE order with them, they kindly signed me up for their rewards program, which is typically not a big deal BECAUSE MOST COMPANIES DON'T CHARGE FOR THEIR REWARDS PROGRAM.

    Not only did I not agree to sign up for their rewards program, not only did I receive NO notification that I was enrolled in their rewards program, but they started charging me $15 a month for being a part of their rewards program. I didn't catch this until it had gone on for a few months because of the way the name of the charge came through in my bank statement. As soon, as I called to have them reverse the charges, they did so immediately. No fight. No runaround. That tells me that they probably have A LOT of people who are being charged for this "program" and don't even know it. Just despicable. The people who run that company are the worst of what humanity has to offer and should be ashamed of themselves.

    Updated on 04/08/2023: I’ve gotten some feedback from The Bradford Exchange Customer Service department. After extensive research, I’ve found all the documents supporting my refund demands. That is as of today. An e-mail sent by a nameless customer service representative stating that Bradford Exchange didn’t withdraw the full amount of $139.00 I authorized them to deduct from my bank. Oh no, according to them, they converted my authorized payment into monthly installments of $46.99 without my consent or approval. How dare Bradford Exchange divert my funds without notifying me for approval. They did reimburse me the one-time withdrawal fee. However when you read on the invoice sent to me, yes I’m paraphrasing “… No further action required at this time…” Ya’d think (well I did) all's done.

    Ah that’s my error! I’m looking at an invoice stating in bold black ink $139.00 USD paid! Can you appreciate or at least understand my confusion? This should’ve been my decision, not The Bradford Exchange's, they do not have that right! I’m questioning their business ethics, is this legal? I’m seeking legal advice, is this a possible class action situation? I’ve read and re-read their document trying to find somewhere I electronically agreed to this payment modification without my approval or consent. I don’t like to think Ill of people, places, and things but I highly suspect devious unscrupulous motives might be at play?

    Original Review: I received the first ungraded coin. Seeing this at triple the cost infuriated me. I returned their package, I’m still waiting for my $139.00 refund to be returned. Bradford ignores my pleas, e-mails and text messages. Their website ad is very misleading. Be sure to read and study the conditions of said agreement before you commit to the sale. What triggered my cancellation, besides the over priced coin was every month a new coin will be sent at the exuberant fee of $114.00 USD! They’ve sat on my cash generating revenue thru accumulated interest in their massive bank account.

    Had this been the collection advertised rather than the cheap shot a price gouging us seniors I would’ve bought one collection for all nine (9) of my grandchildren. Shame on you Bradford Exchange. I’ve shared my story with others who’ve had nothing other than utter disdain towards this company, be it their train, the Disney, collectible plates, and several other over priced, undersized (figures, train car, etc sizes) collections.

    I ordered a $75 jewelry box for my wife's birthday. I ordered it the 1st week of February and got it 2 weeks later broken.     I ordered a year's worth of personal checks from B EX. The individual checks will not tear off the pack w/o tearing. Some checks tear so much they are not usable. When I started the 2nd pack of checks w/ the same tear issue, I contacted Customer service. I asked them to replace the defective checks. They will not do anything to correct this issue since it has been 3 months since my purchase date. I also found that the checks are printed on paper that is very flimsy compared to checks from other suppliers. This may contribute to the tearing problem. Order your checks elsewhere, as I now must do.

    I ordered a Twas the Night Before Christmas house using my credit card. The site said I could split the payments into $40 installments. I chose that option during checkout only to find out they had charged my card for the full amount instead. I checked to see when it would ship and the site said mid-April. I sent an email to cancel the order to which I received a cookie-cutter response that my item had already shipped. I knew this was another lie. I checked the site and they had updated it to say it was In progress for shipping. It has said that for days on end.

    I do not have a tracking number or anything to prove it’s been shipped. I feel like they just put that in the system after they told me they could not cancel it due to it having already shipped. It has NOT shipped. Very very shady Business Practices. If I had found these reviews before I placed said order I never would have ordered. I DID NOT authorize them to take out the full amount at once. As it stands I don’t want this item and would like a full refund. They have lost any future business from me if they don’t remedy this to my liking. Do not offer payment plan and then charge the full amount at once. Unfair and shady at best.

Get a confirmation # then they will call you and demand more money claiming you did not pay which will hold up shipping. Then they will send you a damaged and broken item.     I ordered a necklace as a gift. This company has been charging me $14.95 every month for over a year. It’s a small amount so it isn’t very noticeable. I did not authorize this and have contacted the company repeatedly to remove this fee and refund me the money they have stolen. They continually offer excuses but do not refund my money.     Dec. 1 ordered pendant for my Mom. We recently lost my father and as it is our first Christmas without him wished to get her something special...On the 12th of Dec., I sent an inquiry as to the delivery status and received a very kind email from a representative named Kelsey assuring me that despite delays at the manufacturing end, the gift would arrive by Christmas Eve. By the 20th, still no sign of my mom’s gift and I sent another email asking if it would indeed arrive on time or whether I should go shopping for an alternative gift.

    On FRIDAY the 23rd, I finally received an email from Wilver saying he was “happy to inform me that my collectible has been reserved for me”…And that they anticipated the order would arrive no later than 02/02/23. As, by then we were under a severe storm watch, I was not able to run out on CHRISTMAS EVE to try to find something else, after being repeatedly reassured by this company that my Mom’s gift WOULD indeed arrive on time…It didn’t. I am fully aware of issues in every sector of business dealing with manufacturing delays, etc., All I would have liked was an HONEST answer from this company that my product would not be arriving on time. I guess that was too much to ask. If and when my pendant arrives, I will give it to my mother, but the moment has now passed and I am severely disappointed with The Bradford Exchange and will not ever order from this company again.

    I would leave zero stars if I could. I called to cancel an order placed the night before because it was shipping to wrong address. Somehow when paid with PayPal it changed the ship to. The rep told me the order was canceled and that I would receive an email. Never received the email stating canceled only that it had been shipped. I called again and they said I never called to cancel only to check the status. Then said I have to call back yet a third time in order to get return label to return item. Refused to give to me at that time. Implied that I lied about calling to cancel the item.

    First I never ordered this coin, I never created an account to which the coin was to be charged to. I went online to contact them, it took days and days to get back to me. I finally got a return label sent to me since one was not originally provided. I took the package to the Post Office and sent it away. Days later I seen that it had been delivered back to the Bradford Exchange. Exactly 1 month later they contacted me to say they are still waiting for the shipment to be returned. I told them I sent it and they have in their possession. They deny any receipt, yet Canada Post says different.

    Problem is I deleted the email with the tracking number since it had been successfully returned and for some strange reason they will not send me the email that contains the tracking number. Now they also said they will not cancel my account, which previously they say it would be deleted, but still hasn't been. Do not deal with these people as they are a bunch of liars and crooks.

    I submitted an order on 11/7 for a personalized coin. My order total was about $34 and I paid using Paypal. Upon looking at my emails the following day, I found 1 confirmation email from Paypal confirming my authorization of the $34 charge but then find 2 separate confirmation emails from Bradford Exchange for 2 different orders. The second order was for a $100 coin that I did not order! Upon looking at my PayPal account I found that I was charged for both orders. I have no idea how or where this second order came from. The confirmation emails from Bradford Exchange came through at the same time, within seconds of each other.

    I call Customer Support to inquire what this second order was and to cancel it since I did not authorize it only to be told it cannot be cancelled. The only thing I can do is wait to receive the item then return it for a refund... Great, so now I'm out the funds and have to wait days-weeks to get it refunded for some bogus order Bradford Exchange's website created and charged me. After having issues in the past order from them, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was a glitch or an isolated incident but after this, I definitely won't be ordering from them again!

    I moved from CA in Jan 2019 to AZ. Since I livd in CA my entire life, I knew it was important to update my address to every company I associate (including The Bradford Exchange) with. So here's the story: I recently ordered a wall clock from The Bradford Exchange. This is the 3rd order I've made since I have moved to AZ. This particular order had the billing address correct, but they had my old CA address for shipping. I immediately called them to explain the error, and they told me that they could not change the shipping address, nor cancel the shipment. They said that once an order is made, it is immediately sent to their shipping department, and once there, no changes or cancellations can be made. Appalling - right?

    I explained to them that they have previously used my correct shipping address 2 orders before this one. They just apologized. Then I was told that they would stop the payment request (I paid through paypal) and I should call back in 48 hours to re-order as shipment never arrived. I did just as they requested. Well, they never did put a stop payment request to paypal (verified with paypal) and that my order that was in shipping, and could not be changed, had not even left their building yet! But they still would not change the shipping address. So they instructed me to see what address I had on file with Paypal, as The Bradford Exchange ships to the address from my paypal account. So I checked on-line, and phone with paypal, and they have the correct address info.

    Once again, I called back The Bradford Exchange. Get this.... they told me to deny the shipment once it gets to CA, and/or return it to them, and they will re-issue! Well how can I deny delivery, or return the item to them when I don't even live in the same state?!? All they kept saying was that they are sorry for what has transpired with this order. Nothing else!

    My next step was to call paypal and see if they could stop the payment. Of course, that was something they couldn't do either. I am now working with my bank disputing this payment. The bank is working with me to help get my money back. In the meantime, I got an email from paypal asking me if they should authorize "another" payment to The Bradford Exchange, as they have billed them twice for the same amount (with two different dates)! You can only imagine my mindset after that email. Of course I told them not to pay them again, but I am so shocked and appalled at The Bradford Exchange I don't even have the words to express my feelings. So I am now at the mercy of my bank in the hopes that I will get my $124 dollars back. For anyone who reads this review, I highly recommend that you check and re-check every piece of information that is in your order, before clicking "submit"!

    In total I have purchased 5 baby dolls. The first 2 looked nothing like the rendering posted, the 3rd I would have kept but her armatures were broken and the 4th looked nothing like the rendering again. I am new to doll collecting and didn't know you had to research the doll on YouTube to actually find out what the doll really looks like. Usually nothing like what is on their website. It is illegal in Canada to mislead consumers in this way. It's called bait and switch. They are basically showing you a product you will not receive. They only show renderings of their products. None of them are the actual products.

    Recently my mom wanted the 5th doll a $300 doll. She is the cutest thing and my mom wanted to keep her. Today my mom noticed that the doll has a rip on the inside of the arm. She will be going back sadly. Coincidentally I was warned that BE's silicone rips easily. AND waiting for returns is rather painful. They take almost a month which is unheard of in 2022. My mom returned the bassinet that was ordered as it was horrible quality and not worth the price and I am still waiting on the refund. When you email customer service they never actually answer your inquiry. They reply with a scripted email. I have lost over $100 is postage fees that are non-refundable. Maybe that's how they stay in business.

    I would give no stars!! I Ordered a Nightmare Before Christmas "Blacklight" village and tree set. The picture showed a Black Christmas tree, about 4 houses from NBC Movie and a few ornaments. I somehow actually signed up for a "Subscription" instead which was not clear. I thought I was going to be charged for 6 months for the village pieces, which would come out to around $250 that showed in the picture of the complete set. I noticed recently 3 different charges a month since I ordered this set in Aug. Of 2021. I've been charged a total of about $100 every month since and apparently I signed up for their "rewards" program, yet never recall doing so.

    This is bogus and deceptive. The "black light" light up village, doesn't even light up under black light, you continue to bill me around $100 for this "Subscription" that now only consists of like 5 small pumpkin ornaments, AND I got items I never even ordered that have nothing to do with the NBC set! (2 snoopy pieces to a calender set that I don't have), and a memorial book keepsake thing. I didn't receive confirmation emails except for the first time in Aug. Of 2021, when I thought I was simply ordering a village and being charged for 6 months. Here we are, 14 months later and I'm STILL being charged and for crap I don't want!

    I tried to reach out via email, with no reply back. I also couldn't log into my account to change my info, passwords or cancel my credit card, today I finally receive an email and called customer service to have my husband STILL getting the run around with them 2 hours later, with a very unprofessional woman. Do not order!!! These greedy people are not clear and will charge you hundreds for stuff you don't even want. Stay far away!!!!

    Updated on 03/01/2023: We received globe 1 in January 2022 and globes 2 and 3 in February 2022. This month, February 2023, marks one year that my grandson has been waiting for globe 4. The company continues to side-step my questions (and complaints) by claiming supplier issues. Curiously, the company continues selling same/similar products, such as the snowglobe village, while allowing projected delivery dates to merely roll by without an update (and, seemingly, any concern) regarding the completion of my grandson's collection. Even worse, The Bradford Exchange will not allow the customer to speak with a supervisor when the customer calls in. I have found the feat of contacting executive-level employees (at The Bradford Exchange) a near-impossible task.

    Today, I see that all order, payment, and delivery information is gone from my online account summary. I cannot say whether the information disappeared because no delivery activity has occurred in the last year or if the company is now targeting me for voicing complaint. I am a college educator devoted to holding this company responsible for the deceptive advertising of receiving a piece of the collection "every month or so." Unfortunately, for me, holding the company responsible will require a large amount of time, filing forms regarding deceptive advertising, as well as possibly having to hire an attorney. A Facebook page is dedicated to the many complaints against this company. I urge potential and existing customers to (1) review the Facebook page about complaints regarding Bradford Exchange, and (2) refrain from doing business of any kind with The Bradford Exchange.

    Original Review: For Christmas 2021, I purchased (on the subscription plan) the Rudolph "Holiday Express" Snowglobe Train Collection. My grandson has received 4 of the 5 globes, but he is still waiting on globe 5 and the train rails. Today is October 14, which means that the "every month or so" is misleading since 10 months or better ought to be enough time to send out 6 pieces. Of course, The Bradford Exchange will tell you that some pieces are "not in production, yet" OR are "back-ordered."

    The Bradford Exchange needs to explain, upfront, to customers just how long customers will have to wait to get the entire collection. Unfortunately, the company places blame on "manufacturer." Warning: Order only if you are willing to patiently wait for a year (or close to a year) for all parts. Question: Where is our last train globe and our train rails?

    Two years ago I ordered some oil from Bradford Exchange. I did not like the order and asked if I could cancel my subscription and any further deliveries. They told me that my subscription was canceled, however they continued to send the oils and charged me subsequently. I made many calls only to be lied to regarding the canceling of my subscription. I refused to pay for the items that they continued to send despite me consistently asking them to not do so. They had the nerve to send my debt to a collection agency, which I paid, in hopes that they finally stop harassing me with letters asking for final installment.

    Don't you know, that even after I paid their so-called final installment via a collection agency, they sent me two more letters asking me for "final installment" of a balance I already paid for. I am sick and tired of this fraudulent company harassing me. They won't leave me alone!! I have already paid them for items I asked them not to send so I wish they will cut ties with me and move on. Someone should sue this company and put them out of business because they not only severely harass ex-customers (victims), they steal their money.

    I would rate NEGATIVE 5 but didn't have option as minimum is 1 to be able to write a review... My Mom is 98 since April 2022. Earlier this year as I was going through her accounts, I found cashed checks totaling over $600 to Bradford Exchange. (Coins they would send and bill later for). She tried to stop them by returning a coin and writing to not send anymore unless she specifically asked for more. (Caregiver assisted her as Mom was embarrassed to advise us what was going on.) A collection letter showed up to pay around $81 or collection proceedings would commence?

    When I called Bradford's listed number I was prompted to dial 2030 for which I would be charged a$5.00 fee? After a phone number search, and a few attempts, leaving call back numbers, and waiting on hold multiple times for up to 1 hour, a man finally answered. After I explained the situation, the man confirmed they did receive previous payments, BUT never got the last 2 coins back and so money was due. I explained how coins were actually returned and theoretically, I could have just claimed we never received the coins he was claiming he sent. I told them they already got over $600 from my mom and asked them to credit the account and close the collection agent file.

    He arrogantly refused... I told him I would then take the option of returning ALL the coins and asking for the full refund as their advertisements claim you have 365 days to return everything for full refund. He placed me on hold and I thought that would work but he came back to me and said... OK. Return everything and he would send us a refund once they got everything back? I cant trust them and didn't want to pursue this further with them as they would just claim the same thing that they never got anything back... They weren't going to do anymore except continue to demand payment.

    I called collection agent (Kingston Data And Credit) who were also of no assistance. You had to leave messages for them to call back and when they did, they said I couldn't talk on my mom's behalf, SO, I went back to her apartment where now, no one answered... They called me to say they called her for permission, but she claimed she didn't know what it was about and couldn't reply without me (98 years old and now afraid of phone scammers so doesn't entertain their questions).

    I went back to her condo and called again and got someone, who checked with Mom that it was OK to talk for her. THEN, they said... SORRY... They couldn't cancel anything as I would have to get it cleared up with Bradford Exchange. I said, well, to never expect a payment as Bradford made the error. Fast forward about 3 months later, and we received a threatening letter stating we had 7 days to pay or we'd be reported, we'd have a bad credit rating listing which could take up to 7 years to clear up once settled.

    Mom is 98 years old and with over 50 years with credit cards, her own business, etc. And never a bad credit issue, near end of her life, this was unacceptable... SO, since I was away, I instructed my sis to just pay it. Now, I called back and got a supervisor at Bradford Exchange who seems to be more compassionate then previous people I dealt with. She agreed to cancel final bill we just paid, but she claims they never got the payment for. Once I send proof, she says she will refund the amount? Proof being sent tomorrow. The amount of time we expensed in resolving this issue is worth hundreds of dollars if not more, but finally, it may be over soon. I wouldn't deal with this type of company ever again and hope my story is fair warning for all others..

    I recently purchased a coin as a one-off present for my wife in June 2022. Since then I have been inundated with post from BE. Which I feel is huge waste of paper. They recently sent out a coin addressed to my wife, with a letter to myself, without asking if we wanted it. The letter which was dated 21st July 2022 states that no charge was due and that "payment only due if you retain & add it to your collection" so appears they have provided it free for 14 days and then intend to charge me for something I have not requested however they actually charged me £43.94 on the 18th of July before the letter had even been sent. Additionally it would appear if I want to return this item I'm going to have to pay to get it sent recorded delivery.

    I spent over 25 mins holding on the phone on Wednesday 3rd July to try and speak with a member of their team to discuss this issue and was unable to speak with anyone and I will have to waste further time returning the coin. They state on their website "We will aim to resolve your complaint as soon as possible; however, where an immediate resolution cannot be reached, we will aim to resolve your complaint, within a period of two working days." I sent an email three days ago Wednesday 3rd and have had no response. I feel this is an unacceptable approach to sales and customer service.

    I would advise potential buyers to be very wary of this company. I will be contacting the ombudsman and taking this complaint further as it appears this company may be charging people without consent (stealing). Additionally, although they haven't responded to my correspondence, they had the gall to send me an email with a customer satisfaction survey and several other emails promoting items I do not want. Hopefully I won't get charged for them.

    I ordered a coin costing £4.69 from this company, next thing they sent me a coin I had not asked for and took £43 from my account for this coin. I used their own envelope to return it with a note saying I did not ask for it and to refund my money and not to send any more. They subsequently sent two more coins that I also returned! They say they have not received the first coin returned and as such will not refund my money for a coin I didn't even ask for nor want. Be very careful when ordering stuff as I told them twice not to send anything else and now I am £43 out of pocket with no coins and no chance of refund as they refuse.

    Want to say over the years I have purchased many things from The Bradford Exchange and was very satisfied, recently purchased an illuminated Kinkade picture and it comes with no power cord - really, I mean the cheapest item I ever purchased came with a power cord. Then I find a power cord and plug it in, to find out you have to remove the batteries to use cord - really - I mean what the heck is wrong with this picture. It burns out and won't work at all now, they honor the exchange but you can supply a power cord and make it so you don't have to remove batteries to use the cord, just unacceptable selling, don't sell it if it is incomplete and not of standards of past, had another one and it had a cord and didn't have to remove batteries, just unacceptable.

    I ordered a blue jay bird figurine for my mom and she was happy with it. Actually the figurine looks good. To my surprise she received another one 1 year later because the first one is part of what they call a subscription. Remember Columbia House with their vinyl disk and tapes? This is the same type of outfit. Be warned Bradford Exchange is cut from the same cloth as Columbia House. My mom returned the second one. I called them and told them that it is on its way back and to cancel the subscription. They got the figurine back on February 02 and it's been 2 weeks since they got it back and I still haven't got my money back. Bradford Exchange you will now have to answer my credit card as to WHY it hasn't been refunded. I'm getting sick and tired of this **.

    Bradford exchange have been dishonest with payments. I paid the invoice and they still are trying to take money. We are now being bullied as they are sending letters threatening debt collection agencies. Why? I have letters of proof if required for others. We have had a customer service rep confirm there is no money owning, yet they still keep sending letters. Terrible communication and disappointed. We have made several forms of communication with them to find out why this is going on. This has become harassment on their side and a scam. Don't purchase from them.

    My elderly aunt purchased the Peanuts Perpetual Calendar for her sister. She mailed in 2 separate payments which took them weeks to apply. She did not know that she would be then changed $75.42 for 9 months to complete the gift. She did not understand it was a subscription. One figurine came broken which I glued. The total gift would be around $700!!! SO NOT WORTH THAT PRICE AT ALL. IT IS CHEAPLY MADE! The shelf itself of the calendar is very lightweight wood, not good quality. My aunt is very hard of hearing and asked me to call the confirm if payment was received. They would not speak to me. Seriously, this is not a bank...In the end we requested a return label to return what has been received. NOT WORTH $700.

My credit card was billed on 11/17 for 44.99 and then on Dec. 17 billed for 77. and some change. Now when I went to school those two figures do not add up to 88.22.     I ordered the Shing Star Creche as my husband's Christmas present. We received the wooden structure, 2 lambs and a cow. Right after Christmas we received a king and his camel.     I ordered a perpetual calendar from Bradford for XMAS. It was to start with January and February "ornaments," and they sent me November and December. I guess the person was expected to enjoy it for six days! I have had the runaround with customer service for a refund. They received the items back weeks ago. I contacted them on December 30 because I was told to call back in three weeks and I waited three weeks and a day. I have two charges on my card for the exact same amount.

    After much prodding, the lady stated it'd take 3-5 business days for the refund on my card. Ironically, I received a 14.95 charge on my card the same day I spoke to them the last time (December 30)! Keep in mind, the two charges I wanted refunded are 75.95 each (two different days of the same charges). So now, I have to argue about a 14.95 charge. No idea where the 14.95 charge came from! Stay away from this company! It's my first experience with them and it will be my last!

    I purchased a Disney Tree Topper and only used it last Christmas, went to use it again this year and the star won’t turn on and it’s also supposed to rotate Mickey and the reindeer around the star. I emailed Bradford like the paper work states. Their response was take it somewhere to be repaired!!! They go not replace or repair? It’s a new product that cost a lot. Zero support or help.     I ordered a Nightmare Before Christmas cuckoo clock. I open the item and the back cover did not fit correctly. The item itself literally looks like a cheap piece of junk for over $200. I have emailed them on three separate occasions and have not received a response in over a month. I will be opening a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to get the item returned so I can finally get a refund. There should be a customer service phone number for returns specifically. With this low of quality in items and customer service I am amazed they are still in business.

    I ordered this blanket for my son for Xmas on Nov 12th. The confirmation email says that it would be here no later than Dec 13th. Dec 13th comes & still no blanket so I call customer service. 1st woman I spoke to said that the blanket was in the process of getting personalized and it should be there before Xmas. I asked that they expedite the shipping. She said she would put a note but she couldn't change the shipping status. So I asked to speak to a manager. Cheryl comes on with an attitude as if I was bothering her. I explained the situation. Told her that I received no notice that the blanket was on back order or out of stock. I asked her to change my shipping status to express so it would get here by Xmas. She then told me the blanket is on back order and wouldn't be in until January 26th?? So the 1st woman I spoke to lied to me? Yes apparently she did.

    I told her I wanted my money back. She then told me they don't take any money until the item is shipped so there is nothing to refund. I waited over a month for a blanket that was never gonna come! I could of ordered it from somewhere else for a 5th of the cost. But now Christmas is 12 days away I don't have time to order another blanket! I am so disappointed in the whole experience I had with the Bradford Exchange. For as much as they charge for their items they have HORRIBLE customer service. Good luck if you order from this place.

    I purchased a Thomas Kinkade rotating tabletop tree with color-changing lights and paid the full price at the time of purchase. I received the tree about 2 weeks later and was thrilled with its appearance. However, within one hour of setting it up, it stopped rotating and the on/off toggle switch would not turn it on and off. It has also stopped changing colors and is a complete farce. I spoke with customer service who promised to replace the tree but here it is, a week later and I have no tree. I am not returning this piece of junk until I see if the new tree is fully functional. This is definitely my last shopping experience with them.

    I did not know before I ordered that this was a company based in China or I would never have ordered. Anyway, I ordered a couple products for Christmas. Bradford doubled ordered my products and gave me a hard to time to return and receive timely refunds. Then they sent return vouchers that were made returnable to myself not to them. I had to spend lots of time trying to get through on the phone to correct this. Then the grand finale... I got the carousel noted on the item from grandmother for a child.

    So it was disconcerting to learn when I opened to check it that the carousel was for noted "adults only" and had danger warnings. On that item, there were no return vouchers. I'm giving it as a gift with my own warnings to keep it out of reach. Imagine, if Bradford would present that warning beforehand in their ad... that no one would purchase it. I will NEVER buy from Bradford again, nor will I buy from China if I can help it. They appear to hide the fact they are from China.

    Shambolic customer service. Company should be pulled off internet. Reading these awful reviews and trying to make contact is beyond stressful. Regret ordering a musical bird after reading the UK & US companies' appalling reviews of customer service and quality. Wish we had researched this company first. Thought I was dealing with a reputable company. So far order not dispatched when email said it was due to be. No response from 4 contacts -

    *2 emails.
    *2 using the contact form.
    *Phone number is useless, requested they call me back on the form but don’t.

    *Get passed about via choices and waste your money.

    Totally ignored. Also £9.99 postage is the price of special delivery next day so no excuse. No response to emails still, but received an email thanking us for subscribing (which we did not do) and trying to sell something else - Can you Sort my order out please. If you can send marketing emails and constantly update your Facebook you should have the decency and personnel to communicate appropriately and honestly with customers. I really don’t know how this company hasn’t been stopped from trading as many have referred to trading standards and which I may do if I don’t get a validated response and tracking number and may well have to contact Visa.

    I have purchased several item from Bradford Exchange in the past because I like that their items are unique but do not order anything with music box. I have returned four items in one year due to music box not working! Ordered a 279.00 fiber optic Christmas tree. Arrived but worked for one hour then would not light or rotate! Ordered a ring for my husband for Christmas (Montreal Canadiens ring) very 300 dollars. In two months the ring was tarnished. Lost the Canadiens symbol off the top of ring. It was a mess. I called them after three months. They refused to take it back! Decided to no longer buy from them as they do not stand behind their products. A lot of junk!

    I ordered a 3 pc patriotic welcome sign for our front porch. All seemed fine. Paid $60. But this is a Christmas gift for my husband. Received my package today. It is 1/3 of the sign.     I ordered checks in mid October..They showed 7-14 days delivery...In mid-November I checked shipping status on line...It showed shipping on January 3rd..I called the customer service number to let them know we would be out of town during that period...And I needed to provide another address or cancel the order...After explaining this they said they needed to transfer my call...After which I was disconnected..I tried back three more times and had to re-explain each time...And each time they said they had to transfer me and each time I was disconnected..I have also written 2 emails to their customer service department with no response what so ever.. I would definitely recommend not making any purchases from this company...I have no idea where my checks will end up but I am currently filing a dispute with my credit card company.

    Buyer Beware: this is a subscription with 20 items that is not disclosed anywhere I saw prior to purchase. I bought this as a gift and was charged $51.94 which is what it was advertised to cost and the picture showed a train with 4 cars. I was then charged again $25.97 to my surprise, so I called and was told it was a subscription for 20 items. I canceled the subscription. I then get another charge for $25.97. Call back and he doesn’t know why because it shows it was canceled. I figured out with little help they charge in installments. Another surprise never disclosed. I would never buy anything from such a shady business again. I would steer clear of them if I could do it again.

    This unbelievable. Got a letter in the mail today the Bradford Exchange are telling me I haven't paid in full. When I first bought the train set I paid in full. When I received the first package on the bill it said, "Thank you for your full payment we have received," and now the Bradford Exchange is trying to tell me that I have not paid. I will never ever buy anything from the Bradford Exchange again. They are thieves. They do not keep proper records on the billing department. I will not pay twice and I have all the receipts saying, "Thank you for your full payment." if I didn't pay on fall why would the other receipts say zero balance? Anybody reading this beware. They will try to try and say and say you haven't paid in full. Never ever will I buy from them again. You just lost a customer.

    My wife ordered "The Legend Of Ireland" Mystic Topaz Men's Ring as a Christmas gift for me. There was a guaranteed delivery by Christmas which of course didn't arrive till several weeks later. I was very pleased with the gift until 3 weeks later when the "Silver Plating" started to wear off. Within a month I ended up with a copper colored ring and discoloring on my finger. My wife wrote to the "Bradford Exchange" company relating the problem in hopes of getting some sort of resolution. Unfortunately all she got was a return e-mail stating they would relay the info to the proper personnel. A follow up e-mail with the complaint received a copy of the return policy. In essence the company sells less than quality jewelry. A $130.00 ring shouldn't have its plating wear off.

    The Bradford Exchange the amount of disgust and disappointment I have towards your company right now is unmeasurable! I was so worried about sending my promise ring back that had broken to get an even exchange. Not only did I get this as a gift it is now being held hostage by your company! The person who used their card to process the transaction is unfortunately no longer with us so the money you sent back is who knows where. Better question is why would you refund it for an even exchange???? There should have been NO refund. I was told to send it back and a replacement would be sent. No one ever said anything about having to pay for it all over again.

    You also sent it to the wrong address and after reporting that issue I find out you refunded an exchange to a nonworking card and now want payment. There shouldn't of been a payment issue to begin with!!! It was an even swap!! So something I owned and was a sentimental gift is in your hands and now I'm not allowed to have it back because of what you all have done.

    My friend had me order a music box for her daughter from the Bradford Exchange which was to be given to her as a surprise gift, assuming it would arrive within a few weeks at the most. After a few weeks of not receiving it I called and was told by a computer that the expected delivery was 3 months!!! Then a few days ago she got an email saying it was to arrive in 4 months! She cancelled her order disgusted and neither of us will ever purchase from them again!     Started this back in January of this year. I had to make three different payments to this company to receive a Bradford Peanuts Christmas calendar which was 75 dollar but I made my payments. (It wasn't delivery till 6/15/21.) The order was damage upon delivery due to manufacturer error (nails sticking out of the wood).     It is amusingly bad! The freephone number on the website & the invoice 1-866-503-9057 does not work. Calling the local phone number 09-829-0475 takes between 25 & 35 minutes to get answered. I am being sent invoices (3 so far) despite the fact that I have paid them month ago by check as advised on the invoice. I cannot find an email address for the company that works, all I can find is more websites that are trying to sell me more rubbish! As for retuning the item & getting a refund I would have to send it to the U.S.A. in Illinois which I suspect would be more complicated than trying to pay for it!     I'm only rating 3 stars because I truly don't know if Bradford Exchange has any control over this, but I ordered a snow globe on December 5th, and it still hasn't shipped.     Do NOT buy from this company. They are sneaky, suspicious and a scam! We have been trying to cancel our elderly mother’s account for 3 months. The shortest version to the story is, she got trapped in the monthly collectors items when she thought she was purchasing a single item. She suffers from dementia and didn’t realize what was happening until it was too late. The first attempt, we sent a signed letter from her explaining the situation along with a large check in the amount they said she owed, and asked them to stop the items and close the account. We’ve made several more attempts of the same and each time paid off what they said she owed. Less than a week after the most recent attempt and payment, during a call to confirm her account closure, we find out her account is still open and she owes hundreds of dollars more from several months prior that they conveniently did not disclose during our previous contacts.

    We can only guess the reason they withheld the information is to keep her account open since we were once told they cannot close the account with an outstanding balance; therefore, giving them justification to keep sending her stuff and adding on to her debt. Her mail is screened, catalogs tossed and unopened packages documented and returned; she’s not ordered anything new in months.

    Bottom line is, they have sent her to collections, yet will not give us the full amount she owes or close her account, and keep sending her those darn monthly collectors which they make extremely difficult to return and provide no proof they’ve credited the account. They’ve given us excuses and lied to us every time!! Ironically their response to these reviews is a blanket statement telling us to email them so they can help resolve the problem!! We’ve ALREADY made several attempts with NO results and will not be contacting them again. This is fraud and a scam!!

    I rarely buy myself a splurge item but I love the Homemade Happiness Kitchen Clock for $122 including shipping so after a lot of indecision I took a deep breath and ordered it. It's adorable and perfect for my kitchen. I carefully filled out my name and address, my phone number and my credit card information and hit submit order. I then began an excited week waiting for my perfect kitchen addition, tracking it's journey to my home...I thought. Finally the delivery confirmation and I hurried outside to get my new clock in. No package. My parents called and loved their ''gift.'' Yeah, they sent it to me--my name--and my parents address in Kentucky!!!! I didn't have the heart to tell them it wasn't for them so I'm not getting my clock. Why in the world the shipping department would send it to the wrong address I have no idea. But since my correct name and full address was on the order there is no excuse.

    I ordered a personalized Vase and Rose for my wife for our anniversary. When I ordered the product I was told it would arrive between April 16-21. I had time to spare. I received a tracking number on April 20. The tracking number shows it has not moved from FedEx in a week. I know that is not true. I called to complain. All the lady wanted to do was read what the tracking number says - obviously, I already knew that. The only other thing I kept getting was we will just have to wait. I know from dealing with Amazon that they can contact their shipper and get updated info on a lost package. The Bradford Exchange just kept wanting to duck the situation.     I ordered a Thomas Kincaid Christmas items which consist of three items Love, Peace and Joy. I ordered these in November of 2020 and only received one item which was the Love one. Called customer service and was told they were on back order and I would receive them of which I did not. Emailed customer service in April 2021 and was told I would receive the items in four to five weeks. I did finally receive the Peace item, but was charged for all three items again for which I had already paid for in December 2020 and January 2021. Please do not purchase anything from this company. They do not tell the truth and want to just keep recharging you. Have dealt with this for months and still have not received one of the items, but another bill of which items were already paid for.     Bought 1 jacket with AIRFORCE for my son. Weeks later I get ARMY jacket. I called. In order to get another CORRECT jacket I will have purchase second jacket and return wrong first jacket. The more disappointing aspect was that I got a charge in March and a notice that my order shipped. So I contact the company and the customer service rep (who was barely audible) notifies me that when you make a purchase, you get automatically charged in ensuing months and new products get sent to you automatically.     I was expecting something worth the price I paid, but instead received a plastic sculpture that was damaged. They paint the bottom white, then glue it to the base. Well, the glue stuck to the paint, but not the sculpture, and since the paint "peeled" off the sculpture, the paint is all messed up on the bottom and it very noticeable if I were to try to glue it back again. I returned the item and requested a full refund! I also order a different Eagle sculpture, and was sent a "Saints decanter and 4 glasses". It too is being returned, requested a full refund, and cancelling series! I looked and the decanter set is 2x the price of the Eagle sculpture, but I don't want the decanter!

    I ordered from The Bradford Exchange years ago (Native American Indian Collector Plates) and those were all great quality with no issues. I will never order from The Bradford Exchange again - it appears they have lowered their quality of standards and no longer produce collectibles that are worthy of being called collectibles!

    I ordered a bracelet for my granddaughter several weeks ago. Never received confirmation for my purchase, but the funds were taken out of my checking account. I logged in to their site so I could see if I could find the status of my purchase and was told there had been no purchases made. I thought something had happened, so I ordered the bracelet again. Still no confirmation. I called Customer Service and was told there are 3 different accounts under my email address and kinda put it back on me. They canceled the 2nd order last week (still haven't received credit to my checking account yet).

    When I talked to them last week they gave me the Bradford Exchange account number that is linked to my order for the bracelet. The problem is, when I try to access my account, it's a different account number that has no orders linked to it and there is no way to enter a different account number. Sent several emails thru their "CONTACT US" tab on their web, but haven't received any help. Called them today and they told me I need to add a new email address. Seriously? Theory thing that's going to do is assign me yet another account number, with still no access to the account number that is linked to the order of the bracelet. Do not use this company. They are a waste of money. Time and effort!!! They are clueless and useless!

    I called to order the Two Hearts flip pendant for my wife for Valentine’s Day. I am a 100% Disabled Veteran, In the Great State of Oklahoma, I am tax exempt. I called to have the taxes removed. Some companies won’t and those are the companies I don’t purchase from, however, the representative stated that the could and would remove the taxes from my purchase. After the purchase was completed, I was charged the full amount including taxes. I made numerous calls to TBE to no avail. You can send them text messages, they do not respond, finally I was able to get a hold of a rep who informed me that their system was down and I would have to call back later, so I did, still during business hours.

    I called only to find out they were closed and I would have to wait another day to call them. I got another representative who told me that there was nothing they could do, once the charges were made they could not change them, funny I had another representative tell me she could remove the taxes. Morale of this story is.... don’t buy from them, the merchandise looks good on the internet, but their quality is lacking and they’re LIARS!

    Updated on 03/22/2021: In February I wrote a review in which I documented a 5 month shipping delay on the Display Case for the Calumet Indian Pipe Collection without which the peace pipes are worthless unless you can display them on the wall. For the last month the expected ship date has been 2 April 2021 (5 months on backorder). Today, a little less than 2 weeks from the 2 April 2021 expected ship date, The Bradford Exchange, did it to me again. Another month delay. Now the expected ship date is 30 April 2021.

    This is getting ridiculous. You get nothing but the run-around and blame COVID excuses out of customer service. I am, almost to the point where I return the pipes for a refund. Unfortunately. I want the pipes so I have to just wait. Besides, customer service expects me to pay for the shipping to return the pipes and I fully expect more problems and delays with the refund if I went that route. Obviously, this is the last time I will ever do business with The Bradford Exchange. Buyer Beware!

    Original Review: On November 2nd 2020 I purchased the American Calumet Indian Pipe Collection with Display Case. This is normally a subscription plan where once a month you purchase as receive a 1/2 scale Indian peace pipe. There are 4 pipes in the collection and a nice wooden display case. After receiving the 1st pipe sometime before Thanksgiving, I didn't want to wait 5 months so I called customer service and ordered and paid for the remaining 3 pipes and display case.

    I then received the 3 remaining peace pipes prior to Xmas and was told the display case was on back order and should arrive by 2 February 2021. Around the middle of January, about 2 weeks before the 2 February ship date, I checked the status online and was disappointed to see that the new ship date was now 3 March.

    Today is 21 February, 2 weeks before the 3 March ship date, and yet again the ship date has been changed to 2 April 2021. IMO it is totally unacceptable to wait almost 5 months to receive the display case. This assumes I actually receive the display case in April. Without the display case, the 4 peace pipes, costing,more than $250, remain in their Styrofoam shipping box, useless to me. I understand that items can be on backorder. Usually, you are told when you purchase the item that it is on backorder. I was not told this when I ordered this and if you go to the website to orser it today, it is not listed as a backorder item. This is piss poor business practice.

    Ordered a Christmas Gift and was not told they would charge me every month. Was told the price was $75.00...well it's $75.00 a month... The real price ends up being around $500.00.     Overpriced for low quantity product, all made in China. Everything is sold in collections, after the first item, they will send a second item but bill 2x @ 1/2 the price. Continues that way for each additional item in the collection. You have a hard time to figure that out from the catalog entry. You end up paying so much more than you expected for a poor quality product.

    Ordered custom engraved 'Limited Edition' Stanley Cup Ring in October 2020 after Tampa Bay Lightning won the Cup. Special surprise gift for spouse, who is serious Bolts fan. Delivery expected 3 months (I assumed it was long wait due to custom design and engraving). Expected ship date came and went. I called. "That item is out of stock" WHAT?? Then Manager: "oh we just haven't received it yet. We promise it's coming". Right. Then an email "will you accept shipment Feb 6th"? Of course, yes, I want the ring!

    Today, Feb 4th, 2 days before I think I'm finally getting it, a letter: "We regret to inform you that your Tampa Bay Lightning Stanley Cup Ring will not be available". FOUR MONTHS I waited for a custom engraved limited edition ring that I'm positive now NEVER EXISTED. Well, NEVER again!! Fraudulent advertising, lies, and WAY too much daily spam email... Goodbye Bradford Exchange. Truly sorry I ever ordered anything. And my spouse...absolutely crushed. Couldn't wait to get it. Pathetic!!

    I bought a tabletop lighted Christmas tree for my desk at work. When I received it, there was no cord, even though there is a place to plug in a cord to light it up.

    When I called Bradford Exchange to ask about the cord, they informed me that it did not come with a cord. I paid $125 for this tree which is supposed to light, with no cord. The customer service representative told me to buy batteries and put some batteries in it. My gripe is that if there's a place on the tree to plug it in, why should I spend more money on batteries? They are too cheap to include a power cord.

    AVOID BRADFORD EXCHANGE!!!! I recommend just avoiding them altogether instead of having to read my experience.... But here it is if you want to know. I bought a globe from them. I chose to buy ONE globe. I paid $80 and then another $35 for s&h. Total ripoff... But it was a great gift for a biz associate. Gift arrives before Xmas... Everyone happy. Fast forward to 1/18/21 and I see another $100 charge on my Paypal.... an UNAUTHORIZED charge. After calling TBE and complaining, they told me I subscribed to receive the whole collection which I did NOT agree to. I ordered ONE GLOBE.

    I asked them to show me where I subscribed to any subscription. They couldnt. They admit that I did not have to opt-in for a subscription, but that the words "collection" and "issue" should have informed me that I subscribed and would be getting additional globes and charges. Also, they admit there is no option to "stop" the 2nd delivery, or opt-out, which might have given me a clue about what was to come. I had to spend 90mins on phone with TBE, and not until I got a supervisor did I get anywhere with them. Supervisor finally said they will refund PayPal account right away, but if they dont receive the merchandise back, I will have an open balance with TBE and it will go to into COLLECTIONS. This is still a huge inconvenience.

    I had the item shipped to a business... 65 miles away from me. TBE was too cheap to send Fedex return label, allowing option to have package picked up. Instead... they send USPS return label and package will have to be brought to Post Office. Such an inconvenience!!! I either need to ask favors of my business associate to handle this return for me or drive 130 miles round trip, myself, to pick it up and take it to Post Office. All of this hassle because TBE is a SHADY company with deceitful practices. They could easily change their site to allow customers a CLEAR option to buy a one-time item or enter into a subscription arrangement. Instead, they play games with item numbers, with the only difference between the two being a SINGLE digit... a zero out in front of the item number.

    Everything else.... the price, the picture and name of the item is EXACT. The customer service rep admits its shady, admits the customer should always be right, but is bound by his bosses to stand by their practices. Now I need to hope I can get the globe back to them, a globe I NEVER ASKED FOR... Or I'll have my credit score messed with when they send the "balance" to collections. A legit company would not be sneaky and never put customers at such risk. Despite TBE being around forever, DO NOT be fooled. Their reputation is horrible. I spent 15 mins writing this hoping to spare my fellow consumers the same headache. ****AVOID THE BRADFORD EXCHANGE!!**

    Ordered, received and returned a baby doll. $139+. Ordered a second but cancelled within an hour but still received the doll and was charged. $215. I returned both of these dolls and they have been received according to the tracking of Canada Post. However, I still have not received any refund.     I ordered a ring. When I received it it was what their advertised picture looked like. HOWEVER it was so small I needed a magnifying glass to verify its similarity! Their prices are a joke.     This company uses deceptive online sales tactics. Order one item, receive an invoice for that item, but then get additional charges. After a frustrating experience trying to resolve online, you receive the other item you didn’t order. You have to call their call center for resolution, which was just to confirm no more charges will be made. It’s too much of a hassle to return the item, which I’m sure is their intent. Stay far away from this company. I won’t do business with them again.

    12-29-2020, Bradford Exchange and their Customer Service Dept Would be getting a -101 if I could. Never received my' Disney "Forever Mickey Mouse" Women's Fashion Handbag Item Number: 127265001. Called Bradford Ex on these dates, 12-29-2020,12-24-2020, 12-21-2020 x2 because operator (Bernard) hung up on me not wanting to hand call over to supervisor, 12-15-2020, needless to say I could go on with dates from original order from Oct 2020.

    This handbag was on back order but as of Dec 3, 2020 when was told it was shipped and account charged is has not be received, 12-29-2020 was told by supervisor RJ handbag is in Springfield MA and will be updated today as to where it's going. I also would like to make a note that Bradford Ex uses USPS and Pitney Bowes, two of the worst shipping Co. and I bought 4 handbags from Bradford Ex and each of the three I did receive were all shipped in USPS plastic bags like general mail. I have bought way cheaper items shipped to me more presentable than Bradford Ex shipped. I will Never be buying from Bradford Exchange again, worst customer service.

    I placed an order on 12/5 and was told it would arrive before the 24th. I could not track the order either. I called customer service and was told the order was in the works. I received an email on 12/21 saying my order was being prepared for shipping. Still unable to track order. Called customer service on the 28th. They said the item is “not far away”. Received another wanting to know how I am enjoying my product which I haven’t received. I voiced my disappointment with customer service the entire experience and they were no help at all, very passive. They say they have been in business since 1973. I can’t believe it.     I ordered a Christmas product from them as a decoration for my house in mid November. The order stated that it would arrive between Dec 1 and Dec 8th. I assumed that they were giving themselves a ton of leeway. Well, on Dec 11th, I called their customer service department and was told that it never shipped, but they charged my credit card on Dec 1st. I told them to cancel the order. So, I waited for my credit card to have the funds credited back. NOTHING!!! I called on December 18th and was told that my account had not been credited back.     We ordered a Thomas Kinkade Christmas Train (The Whole 3 installments at one time) in the middle of October. We were supposed to originally get it between December 4th and 6th.. We checked every day following Christmas to see when it would be shipped out...Nothing. Called the company twice before the delivery date....On the second time I was told it was literally on the shipping dock, and should be shipped the next day...In the words of the Grinch, "WROONG OOO".     This is advertised as being a copy of a sculpted item, my partner saw it and wanted it for Christmas. Looking at the item we expected a ceramic product, what we got was a cheap plastic Item and is more like something I'd expect to find in somewhere like Poundland. Bradford Exchange are asking £129.99 + £10 postage for this item. Having seen and handled it I would value it at around £25.00 maximum. I cannot recommend this item or Bradford Exchange.

    In Nov, Placed an order for one of the Christmas globes as a gift for my dad, he loves the scenes with trains. Payment went thru for the monthly payment set up (since it offered). Also wanted 2 day shipping, a pop up came up about some ‘exchange’ thing for Free shipping. I clicked on it, mistake, the old bait and switch. Next thing I know I'm charged extra 14$ (it’s a monthly exchange club).

    Let’s fast forward a bit, I email Bradford cxl that monthly exchange thing, they email back can’t process the monthly. I say, "Ok? I’ll pay in full." They then email saying amount past due is the 212. Huh? Ummm, that's original amount for the globe that I just ordered. And how can I be ‘past due‘ on something I have not received yet. I finally make a call, spoke with a service rep ‘Melissa’, the globe they trying to charge me for now is not available until April /2021. Nope don’t want it. So she finds one in stock (they are not to let sale go of course) to be delivered BEFORE Christmas. I place order with 2 day delivery extra fee... I ask her “anything else on my account you see I’ve ordered and owe?“ She says NO, I ordered a bracelet back in 2016, paid for and that’s all. I’m like, "Ok great!"

    Now tonight, they are closed, something tells me check my account, I see an extra 126 charged, besides the 139 for the globe. Plus on their website site the canceled my order for before Christmas delivery and changed to AFTER Jan 16th delivery. The old bait and switch? And they charging again for something paid 4 years ago? WTH! ... Glad I used an account that’s not used much, I can get new card if need be, if they keep trying to charge me for product I don’t have or already paid for.

    Be aware that if you buy from the Bradford Exchange, you're not going to get what you paid for. Moreover, if you don't read their ads more carefully than a contract for a used car, you'll end up paying two or three times what you thought to get half of what you expected. When you contact the Bradford Exchange, expect the customer service to dodge you seven different ways before finally lying about what is even included in purchase, flatly contradicting the ad on their own web site.

    I ordered a Nightmare Before Christmas Black Light Village from Bradford Exchange. After all the shipments arrived over a period of months, I triple-checked them all and realized that an important part of the set, the Sally figurine, was missing. It took me multiple attempts of sending and re-sending to get any information from BE's customer service. Their final response was that they weren't going to do anything because the set is sent in installments and different installments are available at different times, implying that the Sally figurine that is missing is not currently available nor part of my purchase.

    However, according to their web site, that is untrue. The set is sold in installments, but the site lists this figurine as a free inclusion with purchase. (See screenshot.) It may seem like a small thing, but when the set cost double what I was expecting and does not include many of the pictured items, I want the complete set of what I did pay for. To date, I have not heard further from Bradford Exchange. If they make it right and send me the missing piece of the set, I will update this review.

    I agree with all the other one star review. I only chose one star because no stars wasn't an option. How many times must I call them to cancel an order before they understand. The person I was talking to seem to be at a Grade 2 or maybe 3 level. You pay for an item, the moron in their shipping department puts on an incomplete address so is returned... They send me items I did NOT order and threatened collection if you don't pay up. How do these scammers stay in business???

    Terrible customer service and no communication. Ordered two personalized ornaments in September (to give to a couple for Christmas). A shipping date of October was given at purchase. One was shipped by the date promised. No communication on the other. Every time I checked the status, the date moved. I sent an email inquiry through their customer service. No response. I just checked again today and now the shipment date has been moved to 2021, missing Christmas. I cannot give half the couple the gift, as they match. They are personalized, so I cannot return. I will have to save this gift to hopefully give to them next year. In the meantime, I need to find alternative gifts for these two that will hopefully arrive in time. Still no communication. No response. No explanation. No apologies. I am very disappointed in the lack of care here for the customer.

    This used to be a reputable company with beautiful products and impeccable customer service. This is no longer the case. Some of the products I have ordered do not represent what you see. They look like something you would buy at the dollar store. Their items are always on backorder and then I’ll get an email saying it’s back in stock but yet will take weeks to ship the item. The latest is I ordered a train piece for $39.99 and somehow the customer service rep not only ordered me that piece at $51.00 but ordered me a peanuts bracelet for $200 that I NEVER ordered!!! When I called to say this was never ordered I got passed around from rep to rep each one basically telling me “oh well I ordered it now I have to return it to get a refund but won’t get refunded my shipping”.

    Their customer service reps I’m almost positive have now been outsourced to another country as they all have an accent and NONE of them know the products or policies. I have purchased over $1000 in products in the last 6 weeks but I am done ordering from this company and I hope after reading my review you will reconsider as well until they get their act together and bring their CS back to the USA!

    I was a customer of the Bradford Exchange for several years, until I ordered a product online that was to be paid for in installments. However, a decision was made by this company to take legal action because I had not paid for the product in full, blatantly breaking the terms of the agreement for payment. I was harassed for weeks by a debt collection agency, even though I was in contact with a member of the Bradford Exchange staff to make periodic payments. I eventually paid off the product in full. I would not recommend this company as the majority of staff are rude and nasty, treating good customers such as myself with contempt.

    I loved the products when I looked at them online.. so beautiful. However, the reality is that they misrepresent their products. The pictures must be airbrushed or something. I ordered the Thomas Kinkade crystal snowman with train for a total cost of $140. In real life, the thing had very dim lighting and the glass with thick and blurry.. very cheap looking. I also ordered the nativity garland set for $250. That was a TOTAL rip off! I could go to the dollar store and buy garland, lights, ribbons, and figurines for about $30 and it would look the same. I tried to return the items and they keep saying they have not received them. I tried to log in to my account online and it says that my email is not recognized, yet they send me several emails a day!! I am very frustrated with this company.

    I had ordered a tote for which I have received a bill for. I called to pay for it and they told me I was not in their computer and told me to call back in a week. OH HELL NO! If your company has sent me a bill and I was willing to pay for it sight unseen, and have a bill in my hand, you can BET I will not be calling back! Especially after reading all of the other reviews on this company!!! I should have done my homework. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM BRADFORD EXCHANGE!!!

    I ordered an item 7 weeks ago. I have not received my item, my credit card has been charged and I'm not able to make any contact with the company. My email was returned by the mailer-daemon as undeliverable. I attempted to follow the tracking link but neither my email address, nor my cell phone number, nor my landline number were recognizable to them. I attempted to phone them at the number provided but was unable to talk to a human and the robot didn't recognize any of my forms of identification. I think I've been scammed and I am considering what I should do next.

    I do not have any problems with the quality of The Bradford Exchange ornaments I ordered. My problem is that I kept being sent product which I did not order. I kept returning these ornaments along with written documentation not to send me anymore. I even called customer service and told the rep that if any more items were sent I would not pay for it or send it back. Now I'm being charged for an item sent to me that I did not order. I think The Bradford Exchange is running a scam. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING from this company. From the reviews I have read this seems to be a recurring problem.

    Please be aware. Purchased goods from this company. Paid by PayPal and split payment. The second payment didn’t go through, the first I heard about it was from a Debt collection agency. Rang Bradford after holding on line for 20 minutes. Stayed that PayPal doesn’t split payments for this company. Will never buy from them again

    Read the small print... very deceptive advertising. Ie: They price a beautiful rendition of a Christmas tree at a price. Then after ordering you receive a small box of ornaments and a bill. What is supposed to cost max $249 ends up costing twice as much! No returns and stuff and bills keep coming. If you call for explanations you can hardly understand and when asking for a supervisor you are put on HOLD...indefinitely. Charged twice a month!! Big rip off!

    This company is completely fraudulent - total scammers! Without my ever placing an order, hadn't even heard of this company, I received a bunch of junk in the mail. I tried calling to let them know they made a mistake, but was left on hold for over 30 minutes. Now, 3 months later, I'm receiving "past due" notices to the tune of $42.79. Again, I tried calling only to be left on hold once more. I have no idea how this company got my address, but I'm reporting them to the US postal "mail fraud" department. Steer clear of BRADFORD EXCHANGE! :-(

    Items with multiple pieces will be shipped separate. Each piece is priced separately. It takes 3 to 4 months to get your item. Ordered mine April 5 for a June 2 birthday. Got one part end July 3 other part August 28. 4 calls to customer service was a joke. Be very careful when ordering from there.

    All I can say is do not order from this company. They are deceiving on their products. You think you are ordering one but it is a set that you do not need that much of. They will keep billing you even when you return an item. It takes hours of your time to deal with the matter and their customer service.

    This company ask big ticket prices for items that certainly look good, but have poor quality control and really poor workmanship. This is racketeering at its best. Using slave labour markets and selling poorly made objects a luxury goods prices. BUYER BEWARE. The pictures look fantastic - but the delivered product is anything but. I have an Aliens clock that cannot keep time and the interior finishing demonstrates lack of skills, training and care. Many people have BE items that break easily, have broken in transit, don't work when they get them... The list goes on. They also have a poor attitude towards customer service; they do not deliver internationally so you cannot obtain pieces available in overseas markets. No way to place special orders or even get help having items posted internationally. In this day and age it demonstrates a lack of regard for customer service and towards customers generally.

    I placed an order for my son. It was for 12 coins and a case. They keep sending me bill and now they are sending my son bills. I can not get them to stop and I have over paid. I will never order from them again. I would recommend that no one buy from Bradford Exchange.

    Merchandise was shipped 7/8 2020 received track number. The tracking number is not valid and I’m unable to track package. The pack was to arrive within 7 working days. Company has not issue a refund after several request. They are a rip off company and should be shut down. Poor customer service!

    Over 3 months ago I purchased a Music Box for my Daughters Birthday, I paid for the item immediately, and still today nothing received, my Daughters surprise ruined, and this company just ignores all phone calls and the 67 emails I have sent. They are a shocking embarrassment of a business with a completely heartless attitude to rob shoppers of their money, they should be shut down by the Regulator as it’s complete theft, the worse customer service I have ever experienced in 51 years.

    I bought a $5 Liberty Gold coin. It was $999.00. After I received it I found at that series normally goes for about at the most $600. What a rip off. These people are scammers. I am Elderly and I purchased it for my granddaughter. This place is definitely a rip off. I want to be made whole.

    I placed an order for Christmas for 3 Thomas Kincade lanterns. I did not realize that I was ordering a subscription plan. As I understood it, it was supposed to be a 3 lantern set for one payment. No it was 3 separate orders at the same price for each. I'm a bright person, and I can tell you that the description was very vague in explaining this. As it was a gift, I went ahead and paid for all three. After the three were sent, I removed my payment information from their website, as I had a gut feeling.

    Sure enough, my mother called to let me know she received a 4th lantern. In the small print it does say that more would be sent as they became available, but this is extremely deceptive!!! I'm glad they no longer have my credit card number, but they sent a bill to my mom. My elderly mother now has to return this lantern and it is difficult for her to get around. What was originally a wonderful gift has now turned into a bad experience.

    I can also tell that this company is purposefully scamming people since they have no mechanism for canceling a subscription on their website. They never sent me an email to let me know that another item was being shipped. I've contacted the company via their online message board to cancel the subscription, but have yet to hear back.

    I ordered 1 item from my mom and somehow got stuck in a monthly subscription with installment plans. I did not authorize this. They charged me 2 times, I emailed them 4 times and got an automated msg that seemed legit. They promised it was canceled. I was then charged again, so I called and they told me it was already canceled. So next I will have to switch my credit card and dispute these charges. Don’t buy from here unless you want to be charged for things you're not buying.
