This has got to be the shadiest retail company I have ever seen. I purchased 4 pairs of pants. Went out of town and did not get back into town within the time frame of their "return window". All I wanted to do was exchange for the correct size. All pants had tags on them after just being pulled out of the shipping bag when I returned.
These people are FULL OF IT! Who tells their customer that just sent their hard earned money..."Sorry but you missed the return window. We can no longer refund it nor can we exchange anything from this order?" What store on the planet even does that? So unprofessional, classless, ignorant and incompetent. How does this company even stay in business? NEVER AGAIN! They lost my business and that of all of my friends and family. I am a Corporate Ops Manager and I cannot imagine treating my customers in this kind of abusive fashion and expect them for repeat business. Disturbing! I will definitely see what my family Attorney has to say about it.

I hate Roaman's. Agents are extremely rude and don't understand English because none of them speak clear English. They refuse to get manager when you ask for manager. Shipping is extremely high. I will never shop Roaman's again ever. Or any of their Beautyrest brand. Catherine's, Jessica London, Woman Within, etc. Don't shop any of Beautyrest rest. Customer service is trash. I hate Roaman's. I'm going to put them all over social media. Do not shop Roaman's. Ever. Do not shop Roaman's, Catherine's, Jessica London, Woman Within, etc. Horrible service.

This place employs the most stubborn goat representatives alive. Arial today after telling why I need to speak to someone and again her confirming the situation is weird can't seem to figure out why I might want to speak to a supervisor after she is unable to solve the problem! Big ol bickering session about why I need to be transferred, her repeating she gave me other options... so then I get on the phone with a supervisor and she tells me due to my previous bank problem I can't use automated, but can use the same bank on the website. And due to previous customer service problems they won't help me further by phone ever again no matter what and just hung up on me after telling about this Arial girl.
Had the audacity to try to thank my for my loyalty lol. I said o no way there's loyalty. My credit line is way higher than what's being used and they only have one star! I guess I will just sue them! Came across a lawyer last week who does this ridiculous credit rating problems they've tarnished due to ridiculous billing practices. No problem! Thank you!

Roaman’s is currently attempting to rob me for an item that was never received. I purchased through Affirm and am disputing them for a third time because they keep denying that the item was not received and they state that they are not responsible for lost items. I have also filed complaints with the CFPB and BBB. I am so extremely frustrated with this company because they are outright refusing to give me money back for an item I never received, and because of this, affirm is demanding that I keep paying for the item until the loan is complete. It’s not even a lot of money but it is the principle. They are stealing my money.

I Purchased dress Item #503-04687-0233- paid $66.22 + note says -FREE refund. But, when I asked for refund- I've got $39.00 deducted for shipping fee$10.99 + Tax, even though I did not purchase product at the end of the story. All together- I paid $27.22 for experience with ROAMAN's! Without product- just transaction. That's what I call stealing. NOT good way to run business my friends! Client: **.

I received a bill and didn’t purchase anything so I called and they said it was a 25.00 charge for a perks card. I said I didn’t want the and the customer service person said they credited my account and closed my account per my wishes. I then got another bill for 60 some dollars. They never removed the charge or closed my account and they charged me a late fee of 27.99 and a statement fee of 2.99 and a service fee of 2.00.
I called again and they credited the original charge of 25.00 and said I had to call Roaman's to have them credit the late fee. I called and they said their system was down and they couldn’t help me. So I got another bill for 35.00. I called them again and comenity and roamans said they cannot refund the late fee because I closed my account. At this point I was afraid they were going to g to charge me another late fee so I paid the 27.99 with the customer service person. She said to have her take my payment would be an additional 9 dollar charge but she was going to waive that. How is it they can do this? I never even purchased anything. Someone should look into how comenity and roamans is fraudulently charging us.

I purchased an outfit for a last minute event. Paid for express shipping, stated it would arrive 2 days before event, thought I would receive before event. I didn’t receive item until 2 days after the event. Roaman’s is refusing to credit me the entire amount and wanted me to pay $11.00 to ship it back!!!!

Return a pair of slacks that was way too long, chose to have refund on a gift card, went to use gift, customer service had no idea what I was talking about, even after I gave her all the information, NEVER Will USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!

I am an unsatisfied customer at this point. After spending a lot of money on tops, shorts and bras I wanted to return a bra that must have been mismarked as the other 5 that I purchased fit really nicely, I thought this would fit so I removed the tag. Well, if it's removed you can't return it. I wore it to the store thinking it was my imagination after checking the tag and was honest about that but obviously they are unwilling to help a good customer. Buyer Beware! Unprofessional!

I only order when they are on sale. I have ordered multiple tunic shirts in the past, but every time the material is getting thinner and cheaper looking. Will definitely not order in the future. Also their shipping charges are ridiculous.

First time ordering from Roaman's. I placed an order and the next day when I saw the outrageous shipping charges for a spring jacket I called and cancelled the order. I was told it was cancelled, only to get a notice of the delivery date. I called again and was told the order was never canceled. That’s what I get for shopping at a lesser vendor other than at a store like Macy’s. Now I will have to go through the headache of returning the item. Couldn’t understand everything the person, obviously off-shore was trying to explain the return process to me. Never again!!

I ordered two items, one came immediately. The size I ordered wasn't the size received. I didn't return because of the return charge. Then, finally, after 6 weeks I received the second item and that wasn't anywhere near the size it claimed to be. I was charged shipping costs for both items and if I were to return the items there would have been additional charges. I'll never order anything from them again.

My wife purchased a $40.00 Blouse from this company a year ago. She didn't pay the invoice which I was unaware of. My wife has a medical Cognitive disorder due to multiple brain operations during a cancer battle. This isn't their fault and I don't blame them for wanting to get paid for the product. They started calling me for the past due amount which I tried to pay but they wouldn't accept a credit card. I tried using their online portal which was always unavailable.
Finally in September, they called when I was home and I paid the $251.00 invoice in full. They charge 41.00 month in late fees and based on 36% interest. I made it clear to close the account and stop sending me catalogs & statements. A week later, I received an invoice for $4.00 in interest because I paid the account off with their sales representative 2 days after the bill was due. That then grew to $293.68 that I had to pay today to again close the account. Their customer service very rarely answers the phone, their voice prompts are never what I need. And now they have literally destroyed my credit rating over this $4.00. I would suggest that you get financing from a Shylock in the Bronx before you conduct business with these people.

Do not buy from this company!!! Returns are hard and costly. I ordered two dresses that do not fit properly. To return each one I will be charged a total of $22. Never mind the high shipping I already paid to receive it. Never ever again. They lost a customer forever.

I will never buy ANYTHING from Roaman's again. Returned order and was charged three late fees. After several calls, several different departments, different answers I feel as though I was done terribly wrong. This is a short version of what happened. I've been a customer since 2012 but never again!

Horrible customer service. Tried closing the account and got a bill a month later for interest charges...on what??? And then charged a late fee on top of that & No one can quite figure out how to close the account without me getting a delayed interest charge. Never again!!!

Since discount stores closed, I use Roaman's for genuinely plus-sized clothing. Their prices are 4 times what I used to pay at the discount store, and shipping and return fees are terrible, but I ordered 4 pairs of slacks when there was a sale plus a code for free shipping. I received 3 of the four items, and sent a request for a replacement - FOUR times. I believe the responses are automated, because I kept being told it needed to be reviewed, etc. I finally was told to file a claim through "Route," since I purchased route protection. The email for Route no longer works, and the form wouldn't accept my perfectly valid email address and order number. Their prices, customer service, and return policies are absolutely terrible. 0 stars.

If something doesn't fit you're unable to return unworn item without paying a return fee. 10.99 for returning something. They will give you a gift card but not return the amount to your credit card. Total theft!!!

Don’t shop here. They charge high shipping and charge you to ship back and tax you upon shipping back. I’m on a limited income and disabled and they couldn’t care less about their customers. My items cost $43 and they want to refund me $35. I paid $15 shipping for two items. My total was $63 with tax. Might not seem like a lot but when every penny counts, it does. Do better! Size 2x fit more like a 4x. I’m 5”8, 228 lbs, just lost 50 pounds but still wear that size and 3x shirts because I like flowy loose fitting.

I used this company in the past and I like their sales but you have to be very careful. It’s also a nightmare trying to get the discounts. They give you all these discounts you’re gonna get and when it comes down to it it doesn’t work. Try to call and you talk to somebody that doesn’t even know what you’re talking about and then tells you you’re not allowed to get this particular discount even though somebody else said they did. It takes hours just to get something done and you still can’t get through a simple order. I realize that was long winded but that’s about what it feels like when you’re doing dealing with them.
Their website is trash. They don’t even have an app you can use. You try to log into your account and the password is always wrong. When you finally do get in, and you click on clearance, you can click until the cows come home and you still can’t see what they’re advertising. They are incredibly behind in technology. Awful.
