Horrible customer service. Tried closing the account and got a bill a month later for interest charges...on what??? And then charged a late fee on top of that & No one can quite figure out how to close the account without me getting a delayed interest charge. Never again!!!

Since discount stores closed, I use Roaman's for genuinely plus-sized clothing. Their prices are 4 times what I used to pay at the discount store, and shipping and return fees are terrible, but I ordered 4 pairs of slacks when there was a sale plus a code for free shipping. I received 3 of the four items, and sent a request for a replacement - FOUR times. I believe the responses are automated, because I kept being told it needed to be reviewed, etc. I finally was told to file a claim through "Route," since I purchased route protection. The email for Route no longer works, and the form wouldn't accept my perfectly valid email address and order number. Their prices, customer service, and return policies are absolutely terrible. 0 stars.

If something doesn't fit you're unable to return unworn item without paying a return fee. 10.99 for returning something. They will give you a gift card but not return the amount to your credit card. Total theft!!!

Don’t shop here. They charge high shipping and charge you to ship back and tax you upon shipping back. I’m on a limited income and disabled and they couldn’t care less about their customers. My items cost $43 and they want to refund me $35. I paid $15 shipping for two items. My total was $63 with tax. Might not seem like a lot but when every penny counts, it does. Do better! Size 2x fit more like a 4x. I’m 5”8, 228 lbs, just lost 50 pounds but still wear that size and 3x shirts because I like flowy loose fitting.

I used this company in the past and I like their sales but you have to be very careful. It’s also a nightmare trying to get the discounts. They give you all these discounts you’re gonna get and when it comes down to it it doesn’t work. Try to call and you talk to somebody that doesn’t even know what you’re talking about and then tells you you’re not allowed to get this particular discount even though somebody else said they did. It takes hours just to get something done and you still can’t get through a simple order. I realize that was long winded but that’s about what it feels like when you’re doing dealing with them.
Their website is trash. They don’t even have an app you can use. You try to log into your account and the password is always wrong. When you finally do get in, and you click on clearance, you can click until the cows come home and you still can’t see what they’re advertising. They are incredibly behind in technology. Awful.

Roaman's keeps sending me catalogs and EVERY single time I try to take advantage of their advertised sales, they never honor those prices. It is a scam! Today, on a whim, I decided to try again. Catalog has a bunch of items that, if you bought 3, the items would come to a total of $33. I spent time picking out THOSE items that THEY had listed in this special, added them to my cart and SURPRISE. $33 was actually a whooping $94.97!!!! I just told them to stop sending me the scam catalogs and take me OFF of their mailing list. I was not born yesterday! I know a scam when I see one and I can also see why they only have ONE star, which is actually too many for this company!

Avoid at all cost, never received order. Paid for package protection claim. My email and order number cannot be found! I believe I was scammed! My purchase was $112.00 made on 12.15.2025. How can claim be found if these scammers will not recognize my email or order number. My next email are to consumer protection agencies.

I ordered a 2X size winter coat on 010126, It took 12 days to get to me. I like my coat with room for shoveling snow. The coat that arrived was a 3X & I swam in it. It was on clearance; so, no refund. This was my first time ordering from Roaman's & it will be my last.

Roaman's package loss insurance turned out to be quite the scam. I purchased this insurance at the time of my order, believing it would cover any loss. Unfortunately, my package was stolen, and despite submitting the requested affidavit, police report, and even pictures and video of the theft, I received no assistance. I had to email them multiple times with proof, only to be directed to a bogus insurance website. After several attempts, the site claimed my email and order number were invalid. To make matters worse, their AI-generated email responses were completely ridiculous. My advice: steer clear of Roaman's and their parent company, Full Beauty

Avoid at all costs!!! I ordered some shoes from them, took about a month to finally receive them. Customer service was a waste of time, each representative tells you something different and then when you agree on a decision to cancel the order for example, you're told they can't cancel the order and then to ship it back. Return shipping is an absolute nightmare as well and will likely cost you more than the item is worth even though they sent you something close to what you ordered but not the exact product. $140 return shipping for $143 item...

Their discount codes NEVER work!! I received a 40% off discount code and tried to purchase a pair of house shoes. The code wouldn’t work so I got on a live chat and the representative told me the code didn’t apply to shoes. I sent him a screenshot of the email I received PLUS the small print at the bottom of the page and told him nowhere was the word Shoes mentioned. He sent me a different code and that didn’t work either. He claimed I might be ordering from a 3rd party. I told him I’m ordering from YOUR website!!! And how is the consumer to know who a third party seller is???
At that point I was cut off and received a message that my internet had failed when it was still working perfectly fine. I think it’s false advertising to send an email to entice you to purchase knowing the code is sent with a selective blanket statement indicating the code won’t work. That can be applied to whatever you are desiring to purchase. Believe me I will not shop here again and some attorney should take up a class action suit!

I ordered a robe and a shirt. Upon receipt the shirt was two sizes smaller than I ordered. I was given a few thoughtless return situations such as drop it off at a UPS store (43 miles away), "We'll email a label so you can print it, package it, and deliver to USPS," etc. I'm in the country, have no printer, no packages, and am disabled. No options available for people like me. He just kept pushing my return until I finally hung up. Not a great experience, either the shopping or the customer service.

If it were possible, I would give them '0'. They sent me a coupon for 40% off for my birthday. However, when I tried to place an order, the coupon code kept saying that it had expired. I called customer service, and was told that they were having issues with the system and to try later. I waited until the next day, and it continued to say that the coupon code had expired. On the invite, it stated that the coupon code would expire on the last day of my birthday month, which is September. I tried placing the order on the 25th and 26th of September. Then the representative stated that the item I tried to place the order for was already on sale. But when I tried placing the order on the 25th, the price was $289.99, and I was supposed to get 40% off. The sale price changed to $216.99, but it wasn't that price when I originally tried placing the order.

Roaman's advertising for Happy Returns is only for them. Not you, the customer. My daughter completed my order and accidentally ordered 2 of the same blouses. Notified customer service to be reassured that my return process would be a happy one. Internet states happy returns, too. 2 shirts charged 72.00... I get notified today they are crediting me 18.00. They charged me 10.99 for some kind of return fee. Still doesn't add up. Asked for a breakdown and they ignored that request. Also disconnected even though they could see I was typing.

I bought a dress online directly through Roaman’s. They are insisting that I bought it through another outlet. They are unable to process my return. My advice, run don’t walk away from this company. Do not buy from them.

Pay attention to everything. Coupons and sale prices have a lot of exceptions which makes it difficult finding an item to apply a coupon to. Watch for future ship dates. Coupons do not apply to anything not available to ship immediately. Often only very limited colors or sizes are eligible for most of their coupons. You will receive daily email and/or texts with offers but most fit in the category above so don't get excited. Shipping costs are based on the cost of your order not the weight so consider smaller orders to reduce your shipping charges. They don't give free shipping very often.
They charge a restocking fee on all returns if they have to give you your money back but there's no fee if you agree to a gift card instead. Consider splitting big orders into multiple small orders and stagger submitting them so if you need to return anything in the first order you can take a gift card to apply to your next order. Roaman's clothes are very nice but be careful and don't be afraid to push back when you don't get the prices you should.

My mother purchased four items from Roaman's. None of them fit so she sent every single one of them back. Roaman's will not reimburse her nor give any type of credit however, they keep charging her late fees on items she sent back. This has been an ongoing fight for at least 4 months now. No one there is willing to fix this issue.

I have purchased from Roaman’s and Woman Within in the past. They are no longer a bargain when you consider the shipping cost. I also notice when they have their %off sales they raise the cost of the item so you end up paying the original price or more. I am done with these Full Beauty companies. They are not a good deal anymore. If you do find a good buy it will be diminished by shipping cost especially if you need to return the item(s).

About a year ago, I moved to a different city. I ordered some bras from this company (which I had done for over 10 years), but never received them. At the time I ordered them, Roaman's opened a credit card account in my name without my permission. I contacted them, filed a complaint and told them that the Manager of my new place said that there was a problem with "Porch Pirates". To this day, they keep hounding me for payment for this missing merchandise. I have filed 2 complaints with the BBB, but I still get emails and snail mail demands for payment. DO NOT trust that, if anything goes awry with your order, they will handle the situation in a professional manner.

I am done with ordering through this website. It's a collection of many stores on one sight. I recently purchased a shirt. The cost was $19.18. When I got it I didn't love the fit so I was going to send it back. Well after what I paid to get it shipped to me and then the cost to send it back minus a restocking fee I was going to be out over the original $19.18 cost of the shirt and have nothing to show for it. I kept the shirt and will never order from them again.

I used to shop from Woman Within and Roaman's all the time. They have changed a lot and I refuse to do business with them any longer. I had a bill for $42.92 and it was due on June 11th. I could not log in and missed my payment date. They charged me $30.00 for a late fee plus interest. I feel like my account is locked. I paid the bill but I promise to never order from them again. What a disappointment!

Stay away from Roaman's! The sizing isn't even close. I usually wear a 12P but the jeans that arrived were ridiculously too small. I didn't want to be charged almost half of the purchase price to get a refund, so was forced to opt for an exchange. Ordered a 16P and they were too small, too. And the quality was horrible. Do not waste your money and time ordering from Roaman's; their return policy charges an exorbitant amount, and exchanges are no good either.

The products themselves are average in quality. The prices are slightly high but deals can be found. However, the shipping cost is astronomical. I worry that if you had to return an item you would pay more for shipping than the item itself. That seems very risky.

If there was a zero star option I would have selected it. I tried to cancel order as soon as confirmation email said shipping was $45. They would not allow me to cancel and want me to pay shipping both ways for things I said I did not want. Currently disputing with my credit card company as an unauthorized charge. HORRIBLE customer service

I recently ordered a tank top with a sweater to match. When I received my package, it had the tank but not the sweater. In the sweater’s place were two pairs of undies. I called the company and explained what happened. They would not replace the sweater. I re-purchased the sweater (on my own dime). Today I received my package for the 2nd order of the sweater and in its place were the same exact pair of undies! I am through with them! BEWARE! They are NOT an above board company!

This company keep charging me a late fee every month. I only owe 99.00. When I sent it. They claim 2 weeks later they never got it and since then been adding a late fee every month. Now it's over 400.00. I will not pay plus my credit score is messed up because of them.

This company has the worst customer service ever. Tried twice shopping online there and both ended miserably. Never again. Please spend your money anywhere else. They send you the wrong items and expect you to pay for them to send you the correct items. Stand in line at the UPS store to return their mess ups then pay extra too. No customer service at all. I truly believe they send you the wrong items on purpose so they can keep your money. Someone needs to start a class act on them.

Definitely under all circumstances do not open a credit line with these people. Their late fee is $41 which must be paid on your upcoming due date or an additional $40 will be added. Also the ability to get anyone on the phone to ask a simple question takes weeks and even supervisors from America do not answer basic simple questions about how their credit reporting policy works! When you finally get that one magical person to answer the most basic question even a 10 year old could understand, there is no courtesy late fee forgiveness due to their automated system not telling you that you were supposed to have paid $50 instead of your regular monthly fee which is constantly adding up these late fees. They're offer to keep you as a customer is to increase your credit line not do a forgiveness on a late fee.

The account was paid in full over the phone. Yet I continue to get bills from them with late fees. Had to talk to a supervisor and once again paid the account in full over the phone. Do not agree to any of their credit cards! They find a way to bill you and charge additional late fees.

The quality of the clothing has really deteriorated over the last few years. It's not unusual to get items that are torn when they arrive, or they tear after the first wash. It's like they're using old or very poor quality materials. And, you can purchase 3 of the same thing, and none of them fit the same. I don't see many new designs lately either. Very disappointing for the money.
