I use Intelius infrequently, however, it serves my needs quite well. I use it primarily for genealogy research when looking for long-lost living relatives. It is very thorough.

Gotten good results in searches for people and for Intel purposes.

I have used Intelius for many years. They were instrumental in me finding my brother who was missing for 27 years. They have also located many relations and lost clients who owe me money. Thank you Intelius for your great service.

Best program of its type. I use it weekly. Most reliable.

On occasions months apart, I could not print what I paid for. That in itself is not a serious thing or, at least, it should not have been. But customer support insisted that I had printed what I'd paid for and offered no further help. I would strongly suggest that support personnel working on weekends be monitored for their precision. Weekends are when I am most free to use Intelius and it is also the time when support is the most lacking.

I have asked three times to be removed from all of their records and as requested, mailed identity information as requested from them yet it has not been done. It appears they do not have a valid customer service custom so my trust in them is almost nonexistent. I've ordered basic info from them so I can not respond how complete their info actually is for the fees they charge!!!

Service provided very old and dated information in my person search. Only used your service as a last ditch effort and found information on file 7-8 years out of date.

Why do I never get information. Even tried putting my own phone number in.

The service has allowed me to locate several former co-workers and friends. The search results have been accurate and comprehensive. Some searches have not yielded usable contact information, largely due to large numbers of persons of the same name.

I have a first cousin in Idaho. She and her husband, a doctor were well known. I tried your service to find them. Your firm was of no help.

Saw my report only once. Was sent a page, tell me I could click through to review my report. The hyperlink would not allow me to click through and view my report a second time. Instead, I was encouraged to spend an additional twenty dollars to review my account. The promised additional viewing did not occur. I decided to forget about Intelius as a source of information as the company did not perform as promised.

I've purchased a couple reports for personal reasons - and all were extremely accurate with what I was searching for. I would definitely recommend Intelius to someone searching for an old friend or doing a background check on someone to be safe.

For the most part I have been happy with Intelius, however the one thing I could see improved is the address and telephone section. It would be nice if the newest address, telephone number was clearly marked. Thank you.

I tried to purchase a phone report and then later a background report. The phone report snuck through with an additional premier membership at a cost of $19.95. Then I tried to order a $49.95 background report and the charge was Klein declined so I used a gift card I had and it was declined. When I called Intelius to tell them to cancel everything except for the $4.95 phone report, they said everything else has been declined. But when I checked with the gift card bank, the charge had indeed gone through. And Intelius said that charge did not get to go through it all. They said it was declined. Now I have to waste my time following up on this charge to make sure I get credited. I told them I don't want any stupid reports. Take everything back. I don't want to deal with you annoying people.

Intelius charged me $30 and said that no records could be found. Afterward, I discovered that this person is a registered sex offender and served seven months in prison for soliciting a minor, via Google for free. Major scam.

I was charged $23 AND GOT NOTHING BUT MORE THINGS TO BUY. I feel cheated and never will use again.

Very helpful, but you need to put in a bit more personal info to track down someone specific.

It was easy to sign up and to pay, it took no time to create a report BUT the info provided is completely wrong. It was about to create a big disaster.

I feel I was ripped off with this purchase. It wasn't any sort of report to speak of and I'm shocked that Intelius would actually have the nerve to charge me for the so-called "report"! A first name was given and that's it, nothing else! Yes, I am VERY dissatisfied with this purchase/report!

When searching for myself it gives my EX-WIFE'S address even though I never lived at that address with her. It also lists strangers as relatives! This site needs to have a way for people to request a correction! If anyone looks me up, it looks as if I'm living with an EX that I haven't talked to in years!

Don't give them a dime. Total scam. Totally gave me wrong information the 5 different times I've tried now. You'll have better luck with a phone book and a Ouija Board. Or a dart and guessing wheel.

After joining found the information provided was minimal and was directed to additional payments for more info etc. After paying initial $39.95 charge to join was billed again for $29.95 ten days later. Customer phone support one long commercial. Needed to disconnect and cancel online without resolving the additional payment.

I paid for the service of a reverse phone search and for a number that is a Virginia Exchange. Received the name and address of a man living in Massachusetts. Clearly a con. I was afraid this was a rip-off. It is.

I've been using Intelius for years to get background checks on potential employees, tenants, dates and anyone else that affects my life. I've always received fast, reliable information at a fair price with excellent customer service when I needed it.

Documented arrest record with state case file number, with court appearances and continuances was reported by Intelius for $50. When I ordered a second time, $50 for a final deposition... your contractor reported "NO RECORD." He/she never went to the courthouse at all... Thanks.

Hello, I was charged $18.45 and was told on July 3, 2015 I will not be charged. What I am saying is that the young I spoke to lied to me.

You pay to look up someone. Once Intelius finds that person, you are charged another fee. I would call that somewhat of a scam!

Background checks are highly inaccurate and incomplete. I ran a background check on myself and a lot of information that I know to be true was not included as well as dozen or so background checks that I ran on potential employees were very inaccurate as well that was verified by the potential employees also. A big waste of money and time.

The system was adequate. For the dollar amount it should have offered more.

Whoever sent me this research tool I love you. You can find just about anyone from birth date, old address to current, who stole someone's identity and creating family from the dead. Great tool. I give it 5 stars.

I am a licensed PI who has found Intelius to be a reliable resource in finding people in connection with investigations when I have little information on them to begin with. I have not found a comparable database for this price.

I find intelius to be easy to use and accessible. I find the information I receive to be less valuable. I find much outdated, unusable and extraneous information. It is also not very reliable. I am forced to do checking on my own and spend much time turning "straw into gold." It is an excellent starting point to a search, however, I wish I could quickly and accurately obtain address and phone information and other similar searches. My needs are not complicated.

Very good. Low price. Have used it for several years. Usually accurate. Sometimes doesn't figure out that the person is dead.

The addresses and phone numbers were not in chronological order and were years old. I paid extra for the latest report (from utility bills, I think); also an address from a couple of years ago. I could not serve small claims as I could not get current address.

I am 84 years old and your 'service' gave me the opportunity to try to find 'old' friends. I also found a few 'lost' relatives. I want to thank you for the opportunity to renew friends and see how 'life' has treated them. I shall return when my wife makes up her 'list'.

When you search the net for looking up information on people, cars, and properties, you end up in a web of lots of companies that claim they can do it. All for a monthly or annual recurring fee, and they all turn out to be resellers of intelius. And, of course, instead of being able to just look someone or something up, at every step there is an upsell for a group lookup, improved lookup, or monthly or annual recurring fees and the data is never as good as is promised.

Very instrumental in finding my friend that I have not had contact for 30+ years. They guided me with contacts and places of residences, phone numbers and public media and places of employment. By putting all these things in play I was able to find and contact my friend.

A question of false advertising. To get any real information, have to keep going up in price. Would sooner pay one time to get real information regarding arrests, convictions, bankruptcy, etc. One time to find out location is OK but then let's get the real information in one payment.

It did what I wanted to. It didn't update data very fast. Found new data that never reported on our website.

Reviewed family members and myself was trying to find if my wife ** (maiden name) purchased any properties from 7/8/2014 to present date and could not complete the search, she cleaned out our retirement account of $95000 and we have filed for a divorce, I touched my wife the first time ever, and have been in counseling of my own accord ever since and pleaded guilty to the court and am paying for my actions that night, I would give anything to take back my actions. This account was cancelled as never received the info specifically requested. You also had wrong person at the start. It's difficult to review you except to reaffirm my cancellation as I never got corrected information and got tired.

I just did a background search on a sibling who has had his fair share of legal issues. I paid $60 for Intelius to tell me there were no state or federal records found. That's funny considering I've picked him up from two different jails in 2 different states. Ripoff report is my next review website. Then onto google, yelp, etc...

All search engines state "FREE reverse telephone look-up." Oh yes they do the search for free, however you must pay to see the results. Come on now, do they really think we are searching to know if they in fact know the information???

The site is misleading showing that your membership is discounted and will last a month but do not disclose up front that you will be charged PER use. Then, when you go to cancel, they hit you for a smooth 7.95 fee even when you haven't used your background report. The whole thing is just poorly set up. Then you have to wait 1-3 days for them to deliver a reverse phone lookup to your email??? Pfff, please. Why didn't I use Spokeo... I used it before without this much trouble. Intelius was not a wise decision for me. Hopefully, you didn't suckered for more than $10 bones.

This organization charged me approximately $25 to send me a voucher with ABSOLUTELY NO INFORMATION. When I called, they stated they would credit me for one year of look-ups. Under my credit, no information on the so-called credit they gave me. I WILL NEVER USE INTELIUS AGAIN.

On 6/5/2015, I did a search on myself using Intelius. This company reports that I have or am: Multiple aliases (5) and "verifies" (by declaration) that these "people" are really me; Currently living in two different states - Tennessee and Kentucky; Studied at Trevecca Nazarene University, although I have never once attended this school; Worked at a company called Charter Resource Group LLC in Tennessee, a company unknown to me; Worked at Trevecca Nazarene University, although I have never worked for them or studied there; Lived in many different Tennessee cities although I have only lived in two cities here; Lived in Kentucky and Florida, although I have never lived in any of these states; Has listed more than two DOBs and shows me as an Aries, which I'm not; Has published phone numbers and addresses associated with me and my "aliases", which I don't have.

As part of my research, I used Intelius - for finding data addresses mostly. It worked well and Intelius does a thorough job, but I just wish there was a format that they could tell me the last address were at and direct it numerically from the last data.

We've been using Intelius through desktop and it works well. We use them to do background checks on our members. We had an account coordinator who was really great but she left Intelius, and we got someone else who I don't really have a relationship with. Right now, they're not very responsive by email.

The problem has been fixed. The non-existent person no longer shows as a resident at this address on the data base, and I'm looking forward to a reduction or elimination in the junk mail we are getting in that name.

It was difficult to follow a line of inquiry, pages kept reorienting. I wound up starting over twice. But I was only billed for two of three searches that I thought were all part of one search. Not very satisfying at all.

Late in March I was the victim of a hit & split accident in which a woman backed across a parking lot and hit my car, doing $7,000 damage. She was eventually caught, and I am prosecuting. Police told me she had an outstanding warrant for skipping court on a previous charge and this latest one was a misdemeanor. I wanted her full police record. Intelius told me she had no arrest record whatever and gave me an address for her which didn't match what was on the police report.

Last year in August I used this service to find my old friend. I gave the information of my credit card and I was careful not to be a member since I never needed to be. Recently I noticed they have been charging my account for almost a year. Due to my negligence I found out about it just last month. Since then I have contacted them and they send an email to me telling that because of my request they ended the membership and refunded this month to me! I have never been or wanted to be a member. I asked them to only charge me for the first time that I used the service and refund me but they keep sending automated response to me without giving me back my money. In my view this is a theft.

We've been able to locate people through Intelius. If we had old addresses we were able to get updated addresses and we use the desktop application.

I was shocked to see how much of the information in my Intelius profile is wrong: my middle name, they say I currently live in a city I've never lived in at all, and that I'm "related to" only one person whom I've never even heard of and who doesn't even have the same last name as mine. When I called Intelius to correct the bad information, I was told they don't have the ability to change the information even if it's wrong. I was sure they meant it's not their policy to do so, even if they've verified that I'm the person in the profile, but the customer service operator and then her supervisor said Intelius simply is not technically able to make corrections.

My experience with Intelius has been fine. I did not take advantage of the Intelius free trial offer but we use their products and services for people lookup or if we have anonymous calls into our district. Our interactions with them has all been good and we've been really happy with our service with them.

I am a criminal investigator and using Intelius has helped me narrow my search in several instances. The information, however, is often inaccurate and not current. I spent a week in south Texas tracking six different people using Intelius and could not locate a single one. It's better than nothing but of limited effectiveness.

No real usable information. Waste of money and time.

I have been pleased with Intelius but find the tel. numbers are out of date. Most are D/C. Maybe because of the use of cell phones. I am trying to find graduates of my school of nursing so we can get in touch with them.

We found Intelius in the internet and it seemed most useful. It works pretty well. When we need an address, it's been good about helping us find one. They're also very pleasant to work with.

I tried to get a criminal background check on my abusive husband. Intelius charged my credit card and had not found anything, records. I went on public records at no charge and found 14 charges in 3 states with my husband's name and date of birth. My husband had assaulted me and moved out. I needed the information as character references for the prosecuting attorney and my order of protection.

It is difficult to go back to the same search name without the computer prompting/requesting for a new fee.

Been a member for awhile. Primary package does not have enough information. When we've paid for the criminal background checks had a lot of misinformation or very little when we know the person had a lot of arrests.

They charged my credit card for a report and I never got it. Though I contacted customer support several times I still have not gotten any satisfaction or what I paid for. Don't do business with them!!!

I use Intelius periodically if I need details I'm seeking on a particular individual. On the occasions I use it, it has been fairly helpful in providing the information sought without usually having to fork over too much money. I don't know how it compares to other similar services and I don't need it too often but it works for me when I do need it so I'll probably continue using it.

So far it's been real good with Intelius even though I don't get a number of phone numbers that I would like to get. It helps in trying to locate members.

The information available is fantastic; however the pricing is not. I mostly want names of family members and birth dates to help me fill in my tree on Ancestry.com. I wish it was $.25 per birth date or only $7.99 a month like Hulu.

Every time you click for an answer it is more money and never an answer or the wrong person.

Multiple times I haven't received a complete criminal history. I have stopped using this service.

The first person I contacted gave me a pretty good deal on several vouchers or credit. I use it primarily for locating people. I help people with local high school reunions and military reunions, pretty innocent things like that. I think it's a very good product. The people that I used to work with look at it and say, "Oh my God! They're selling that so anybody know you." And I said, "Come on! It's just name and address."

I used a one-time payment with Intelius, and was charged $20.00 multiple times, until I had to resolve the problem with my credit card and the BBB.

I would recommend you!! After I had filled a property and decided I no longer needed a subscription, I called to discontinue. The person I talked with didn't take my time trying to convince me I should keep it or buy something else. I appreciated how efficient yet friendly the person was. I'm far more likely to subscribe in the future because of that experience!!

I have had awesome results every time. I have tried a number of different sites. This one is my favorite one by far. There are no other sites worthwhile that can compare to Intelius.

I find the Intelius site very disappointing. The site is difficult to maneuver. Seems the site always prompts me to make a more (and more expensive) purchase. I also not able to find my account number or reference number. The data appears to be not as complete as I would expect. Some of the information is not required, such as other people with the same name living in other parts of the country. I requested information on a particular person living in a specific city and state but am provided with information on person(s) with similar names not related to my search. I would not recommend this site to others.

Since there is no more phonebook Intelius is all over the internet when you are trying to find someone. We're not a big user of Intelius but it has been good though I would prefer a more flexible billing system, like carrying over. They have an expiration date and if I buy 100 contacts a year and just used 40 then I lose the 60. Why is there a sunset bridge for unused prepaid subscription?

My experience with Intelius was okay. I love to use it because it provides correct information. Some of the information that internet data websites provide don't have the current address of the individual, company, or family member you are looking for. The information they provide us is the old address. Some of the information they provide are information of persons who have already passed away. They don't have current information so I'm still not convinced with all of it. Intelius needs to upgrade their system because what I have here is a premium membership, but it does not provide current information of a company or individual. They should not be providing information for 1990, 1985, 1984, 1980. They have to go deep, deep, deep.

I've had an excellent experience with Intelius. I'm satisfied with their service so I continue using it on my desktop. I do genealogy as a hobby and even though I would never publish the names of the living persons and their birthdates, etc I still want them in my file for posterity. I use it to obtain or confirm birthdates and also the person whose phone number I'm or birthdate I'm accessing often has other family members listed as well which is useful in reconstructing family groups. It's an enormously beneficial tool for my purpose.

I get too many numbers that come up saying it will be $4.95 and we'll send you the report.

We had a paid subscription with Intelius, which we access using the desktop method. This method works for us but sometimes it's a little hard to navigate through there. I don't find it real user-friendly and it's difficult because you find one thing and then you have to look for more information, and then you can't find the screen where you first started finding the person's name. We do searches on participants in a research study that we were not able to make contact with, and we search for them on Intelius to see if they're still alive. The one thing is that when we did set up the subscription with them, it was a really lengthy process. There was a lot of back and forth with phone calls and emails to get it set up. So that could be streamlined.

I was able to get same info free at whitepages. I took two days get info. I need to know more and your service had nothing. I had to use a different system to find info but got it. Was difficult.

Intelius works when I try to find people. Sometimes I can't find somebody, maybe because the system is not the most current.

We've had a wonderful experience with Intelius so far. We have a house cleaning business as one of our companies. We hired two employees and ended up with double the sales of the company. So we wanted just specific marketing to specific people, and we needed to know who the property owners were. So we extract that data from Intelius, then we end up with our own letterhead and make introductions. I have a manager who does the interactions with the Intelius team for me. She was concerned about downloading our current ads or our current list of people that we dropped to before they go away. That was an issue for her. But other than that, she says she likes Intelius. They've been doing a great job.

I have used Intelius many times over the past few years for investigative purposes. I am very pleased with the information provided and the price. I never have any problem canceling my service when I get ready to. Customer service is very easy to access, unlike some online companies. I would use Intelius again and I recommend them to others.

We bought the bulk package for our school system. I use the desktop method and since I spend so much time at my desktop it's perfect for me. I use it solely for trying to locate someone that I can't find for the school system. When I need to locate someone, the information is 85% accurate and I wish it would be better. I would recommend Intelius but people need to do their homework and make sure that's what they need.

I have been using Intelius to find distant relatives with good success. If you know a place someone lived, it's very helpful; otherwise, it can be like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I like that Intelius lists past phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, job titles, and relatives. I wish it had an advanced search function to search by middle name (you can filter by middle initial), age or date of birth, and relatives. One thing I'm very unhappy about is that they froze my access 4 days before my subscription expired and wanted me to call them to extend--not cool.

Very, very, bad bad information, bad help. No help, bad bad information. Useless information. I had to get correct information from another source every time. Cost me a lawsuit against someone. First time they came back with no criminal record they were wrong. A second one false information tracking someone a DUI in Florida, was public record they did not find.

This is a good service. I just wish with returning customers, they just had a reasonable single use rate - none of this buy two junk. I'll be back anyway, but could do without the aggravation from the get-go.

A few months ago I purchased a short-term access subscription. I was updating a large church database, for which date-of-birth was an important, often missing piece of information. I was able to get all but two in record time. While I had access I looked up friends for whom I had lost track over a lifetime. I found nearly all of them and have had some great reunions. Thanks for maintaining a wonderfully helpful and accurate database.

We are actually part of the Juvenile Court in the State of Missouri. We use Intelius to try to track down parents and people that were looking for relationship to juvenile cases. Anytime we've ever need anything whether renew our subscription, it's been very easy and they've been very helpful. It's real quick and we get things done and get what we need. It's always a pleasure every time.

Half info was wrong. No license info, wrong phone numbers, no personal info. Very disappointed. Will not use again.

I heard about you while in line for pro bono help at the Probate Court to notify relatives of their status in the Estate. Thanks to you I located two and things snowballed after that. The money I spent no way would equal to what I saved in attorney’s fees. Hurrah!!

I love this site, and the only problem I seem to have is looking up a person who calls me using a Cell Phone. The only way I know of now of finding out who is calling is to call the number back and find out who it is. It would be very helpful if I know ahead of time who it is so that I would know if I want to call them.

It's nice to find out who you are going to be communicating when you meet them online on a dating site. I always get their phone number and research them before I give them my personal number. Intelius has been reliable to get me current information.

The information is accurate majority of the time. I market to absentee owners for real estate. Is there a way to see if a home address is receiving postal mail? If not, that would be a much needed feature for me.

I have used Intelius many times. A valuable feature is the software lists all those with the target first and last name. This allows one to select the person of interest based upon a person's middle initial/name. Also, the age of each person is shown so one can eliminate those with the same name, but is not the person of interest. Using the middle name/initial and age, the person of interest is usually located very quickly.

I have found long lost relatives and friends all over the US. It was easy and the user interface is friendly.

The information you provide is only partially correct. You provide 3-4 addresses and when asked and paid to verify, you only partially verify - you don't verify all addresses. Case in point, I asked for an address in Cincinnati, Ohio - you provided 4 addresses of which two were in Indiana. I paid to have the address verified and you verified the Indiana address, that was not what I was looking for. So, overall, you get a poor rating from me and I probably will not use your service again.

I had good luck finding a friend; however, unsuccessful another time and charged twice in the process.

I use Intelius People Search for business pretty regularly. We do about a hundred or so inquiries per year and that has been pretty solid and easy to obtain. Anytime I had a problem with anything regarding the account or obtaining record or any questions I had, conversation on the phone with them were fine. They've been excellent so everything has been working out pretty well.

I don't even like what you just put in the box here on being fair! I know my responsibility... you're not my teacher and this isn't a disclaimer. I feel it's a rip off at $50 a pop when I thought it was $50 for the month... the enrollment is a little distorted.

Your service is too expensive to use any longer. 10 years I have been a customer. That is no longer.

I did what I thought was a one-time purchase for .95, and without me realizing it they deducted 29.95 from my bank account, which I was not expecting, for a monthly search fee. I didn't sign up for that. They did refund the fee once I called, but that spurred an overdraft with my account. It's not right.

I have tried to cancel this and so far it seems they are not canceling.

Intelius is MOST helpful in locating old friends and identifying callers. Its information is usually accurate and reliable. I'm grateful I found it!

A long time ago we were looking at various online services and did a test with accuracy. One or two other ones and Intelius all had the information. I contacted both sales office and Intelius was able to offer us a deal that the other two really weren't able to do. Intelius offered us social security lookup feature that the others didn't have but we needed.

I wish there was no time limit on using credits... I don't like losing the credit if I don't use it...

Intelius is a very good site to check backgrounds for employment. We work in local industries with strict criminal backgrounds regulations so we find out what we need to know about employees from the very start.

Locating HS Classmates for 1950. I'm sorry to say that I didn't have much luck. Although the two people I was looking for were listed, the data was out of date. None of the listed contacts were able to help, or did not respond. When I used this service about 5 years ago, the results were good.

I use Intelius mostly to find the address and phone numbers of old friends with whom I have lost contact. For that purpose the website is very useful. In times gone by I used to be able to get those essentials for free but now I must subscribe and pay or find the information from the phone company once I know the town and state.

We had been looking for the person we found for 11 years and I was finally able to locate him on the Intelius site. Very informative site too.

I needed information about one person and new address. Was happy to get results for small charge. Realized if I didn't cancel would have monthly charge on my credit card. Called on 4/1/2015 to cancel. Am hoping this service is as good as their information.

I'm still a subscriber to Intelius so it's okay that they integrated it. They need to update their information quicker with the phones wherever and I'd say 99% of the searches have no contact information except the date.

I'm disappointed it does not give info for Verizon phones. It provides it for AT&T phones but not Verizon. I have to go to another service to get that info. Disappointed!

Intelius is an excellent resource for timely, accurate and legally compliant background checks on potential employees and independent contractors. I am a professional fiduciary who is entrusted to hire individuals that work in my clients' homes. An accurate background check prior to engaging or hiring such a person is critical to the safety of my clients. I have complete confidence in Intelius.

We don't use Intelius that often but we have to search down people who are online and all they leave is a phone number. We're trying to get the property that they're renting so they can pay taxes on it. So in certain cases, we have to use it in that way and it works out well for us. I don't personally use it but some of the people at my office use it. I'm glad to have this tool available to us.

I use Intelius for business purposes. So, when I moved in to my position within my organization, we already had an existing account with them. We provide prospect research on donors and prospects to my non-profit organization. So, we use Intelius to find contact information for prospective supporters of our organization. However they don't have the most user friendly account. From my experience, I'm used to managing my subscriptions completely online and when we ran out of credits on Intelius like the last time I was using them, I couldn't just click a button and purchase more, which I thought I found to be sort of unusual compared to other tools I use.

I'm very happy with the information provided by this information services business. Every query I made checked out after I verified. While it's been months since my last purchase I will certainly make additional information queries in the future. I highly recommend Intelius.
