    Great tool to have at your disposal. It's not 100% correct on everything, but when you are able to search a name or address, or phone number 80% right is better than not having a clue who you're dealing with...

    We decided to check out the reliability of Intelius first, by looking up close family members who live with or very near us. We're stunned at how inaccurate the information is. First, our niece is listed as having gotten 2 BS degrees, though she doesn't even have one. It says she got them both at the same time from different schools in a state where she has never lived, and one of the schools doesn't do online degrees. It also doesn't list her children, who are now 9 and 7 years old and in school.

    Then it listed her as having managerial positions for 4 competing Fortune 500 companies during the same time frame: 2014- Feb 2024. She's listed as an in-store mgr for one company in NYC, while simultaneously being an in-store manager for a different Fortune 500 co in California, and 2 other similar companies in Florida. We finally followed the LinkedIn link for her and discovered a completely woman with the same first name but different last name, so we're at a loss to figure out how they combined these two unrelated women. I paid a one-time for one month but cancelled the auto-billing. I got an email thanking me and telling me I have 3 more weeks to use it. But when I logged in, they wanted more money to do any more searching. I'll give them a couple of stars for getting the names of relatives right, and her addresses.

    I joined several different sites... It's amazing some of the things you find. Unfortunately, this site along with a few others have very inaccurate and outdated information. Of course I ran searches on myself, family and friends. Phone numbers and addresses are not up to date at all.

    This search engine does not have good information and it’s expensive it kinda sucks in my opinion. I was charged almost 50 for the most basic outdated information. The profile I looked for appeared to mix two people together creating a lot of misinformation.

    As I read my own report most of it is wrong. What else can I say other than it needs attended to it truthfulness and accuracy. I can't begin to guess what parts of the information I am receiving in other reports is accurate so I'm not feeling very secure using the program. Perhaps I am not using the reports correctly which I doubt is the case.

    Information not varified by Intelius and incorrect when providing results within person's crimimal background. Dates provided in report regarding arrest date and release date were incorrect and not possible: Arrest date was in Oct 2022 therefore release date could not possible be Sept 2022.

    I signed up with Intelius to run a couple of basic background checks including a background on myself. Over half of the information received was either incomplete, confusing, incorrect or just did not add up. For example, how can someone who passed away in 2020 still be listed as an active employee for a company in 2023? Also, if you want to look up a phone number (reverse phone lookup) they charge you extra for it. I paid $24.95 for the first month and it was a huge disappointment. Lesson learned. Background check companies like Intelius are rip offs.

    But the information is outdated. Addresses are old, quite a few things were no good to me. Come on guys, how can I send a formal letter to the freelance home health worker who stole 60k? Give information to authority? Can't, they lived there in 2003, for real. Tried calling their CS, couldn't understand lady trying to help, she knew less than I did. I'm sorry. Thank you, Dorothy.

    I think this is a pretty good tool to try & find people that you have lost touch with. Their databases are pretty darn accurate. My only complaint is a possible programming problem on their website. Sometimes as I'm entering the information, the cursor will jump to a completely different area.

    I paid to have a phone number investigated as to whom it belonged to for they were harassing me and I paid for the test run of 5 days then they would bill me for a monthly fee. The trial was only $1. And I was supposed to get a report on that number. I NEVER received ANYTHING from them except being billed the trial AND the Monthly fee. As of this writing I have NOT received my money back for a months of service which I only wanted the 5 day trial. Never received ANY REPORT from them either. I called their number and complained at 888 245 1655 and although the person was polite I still have not received my refund for anything.

    They tout this free phone search. While in the lengthy process they’re actually compiling your cookies and history. Only to give you results if you paid them $.95 then when you agree they try and debit your card for $34.95. Isn’t false advertising illegal? If so why are you doing it, fraud charges isn’t that illegal too, then also how are you doing it. And lastly no one likes clickbait. It's pathetic form of marketing that should be outlawed.

    I do like the website but sometimes I notice it is not up-to-date... It is hard to figure out the phone numbers, and the same email shows up multiple times for 4 different people. It would be nice to have all the information in order, some of the addresses do not have dates. It is very basic, but has helped.

    I have used this site for information for over 5 years. It all started those years ago when a younger sibling of mine started misbehaving and inevitably started refusing to abide by a curfew. All I had to go off was a phone number she had called from days before. It took a little searching and a little help from Google Maps and my mom and I were at the house she was hanging at within an hour of my initial search. I'm not an intrusive older sister there's so much more to the story than that but as far as Intelius goes, I was able to find accurate information in a timely manner and it didn't cost much. Since then, I have used their services time and time again for less serious matters and I still am surprised at the amount of information that I'm able to find. I've used other sites and sometimes I'll compare results. Intelius always comes out on top.

    I cancelled my membership by phone in May and it is now October and I have been billed 5 extra months. This is ridiculous. Not to mention, while using the service, many inquiries came up blank with no information.

    I have to say I was shocked that Jason was so immediately helpful in solving a situation that had me stressed out all weekend. I'm dealing with hospice in my family. I signed up for Intelius for a one use 95 cents and never read the fine print that so many companies put up. After numerous emails on the weekend they took $35 out of my account and ended up giving me a $35 Bank fee because I had taken all the money out moved to another account Saturday morning when I received Intelius email thanking me for a continuing a script. I called PayPal immediately which I'm really not all familiar with, I sent numerous emails to Intelius and tried to reach them by phone. So bottom line is I was stressed out all weekend.

    I closed my PayPal account took the bank information out rather. Canceled the Intelius account. Didn't hear back from them over the weekend at all. I have to calling the bank and calling PayPal I finally called intelius. There wasn't really that long of a wait at all to speak to somebody. Jason was quick. Considerate knowledgeable and completely efficient in immediately fixing my issue. I was so happy. And I could understand him! So it was nice to have somebody who I believe was in the USA deal with an issue for a change. He was above and beyond polite and fixed my issue and Intelius is or already has... refunding me. So thank you Jason for the excellent customer service because a lot of companies just do nothing but hassle. Especially seniors. So hopefully you'll get a half a day off at least or some sort of a reward for recognition of your outstanding customer service. Thank you. Kathleen.

    Long story short: I, myself, work in a call center. I usually don't do this but, was squeezing this in, as my breaks are short and far apart. I had my headset on my left ear and the receiver, from a separate phone on my desk, on my right (that's what I used to place my calls to your company). Understandably, sometimes my call was dropped by your call center's system when I had to put your representative on-hold (even when I set the receiver down without pushing a "hold" button, the call would drop/get disconnected). When I was trying to register, I kept getting in a loop of your system not recognizing the browser I was using, sending me a verification email, only to not recognize it again etc., This went on for 10 attempts and more than a half-hour. The first tech person I spoke w/ was Jason. I could tell he was good but we were only on the phone for a brief time before our call got disconnected.

    I really want to compliment the second tech person, Leon, for his patience, knowledge et al (I cleared my cache and cookies etc.,). We got farther along in the process but, unfortunately, the call was dropped again. I then spoke w/ Darlina. I want to especially commend her outstanding customer service! She, too, was patient and knowledgeable. More than that, though, she treated me like an actual person that was behind my tech issue, not just a tech issue that needed to be fixed. The third time was the charm and Darlina and I were finally got this issue resolved! Incidentally, I just spoke w/ Tanice, at your main customer call center, about something else. I was waiting for the brief phone survey at the end (it's faster for me to do that than to write between assisting my callers) but the call was dropped. So, I want to compliment Tanice's customer service too.

    People have a tendency to only take a survey when they have a complaint. I think it's really important to acknowledge good customer service too! All four of these employees represent your company well w/ their customer service. Because I work at a call center too. I realize that, rightly or wrongly, the person a caller speaks w/ at a company's call center, represents that entire company to that caller. So, if they have a bad experience, they tend to think of the entire organization in a less than positive way.
