I am 77 years old. Adam had patience for an old man. He treated me with dignity. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I was very slow and it did not bother him!!! He is a keeper.
I utilized your service to investigate an unknown call to my home while the wife and I were in London visiting our daughter, her husband, and our only grandchild. There was some sort of glitch with my cancellation email being received and my Chase Visa card was charged for $29.95. I failed to contact anyone at your company and therefore contacted Chase. The problem was resolved by a credit to my account. I have no complaints and would recommend your service to my friends.

I tapped on the premium 3 different times and I called. They took them off and offered me a package deal where I could use premium. I said no. Couple days later I got back and stupid me hit premium again so I called back and this real nice lady fix me up with a special that I could use premium. So very satisfied. I would you a ten star rating. Also give the young lady a raise. Michael **
After ordering the membership, I found that it wasn't what I thought it would be for me, it did have a lot of good information. But I did want to cancel and I called customer service and had no issue with that due to a very courteous customer service agent. There was no pressure at all, that is very important to me. Phylis helped me with my issue and membership was canceled. Thank you again.
I had a experience of actually discovering whom I was searching for after I had spent my money for them to perform my agenda. The other agencies I tried in the past always got paid first and created excuses later of not finding my request. Intelius went directly to the answer. I shall call upon them whenever I need help, and I would advise others to do this also.
Could not receive a report I ordered. Contacted Intelius and they helped me understand why the report would not show up. Have been receiving numerous calls from unknown numbers. Been blocking all calls. Agent was courteous and helpful. Asked if I wanted to cancel because account would renew and there would be a $30.00 fee. I am on a fixed income and this was helpful because I only use Intelius when necessary. I would highly recommend Intelius to anyone and my friends if they need the type of service Intelius provided. It is so refreshing to talk to a honest, helpful and courteous company!! Thank you, Intelius!!! A happy customer who will return.
I have been using this service for a while now, for both work and personal matters. The results are astonishingly accurate, and if they are not, they are close enough to help you get the information you are seeking. The various ways to search is extremely helpful. At my job we use a company to pull information on policies, and numerous times they were unsuccessful with the information given until I searched on Intelius and provided them updated/accurate identifying information on an individual. The customer service is also high quality, and I want to specifically call out Adam for the help he has provided me for the one and only time I needed customer service. I recommend this service to anyone who works in private investigation, and honestly am going to try to convince my employer to work out deal so our whole firm can benefit from their services. (I can't keep running reports for everyone here lol!)
Food for thought. I opted in to your trial with the understanding that I would receive a full refund if you were unable to find the info I sought. You didn't find it. Based on the language presented, what do you suppose my expectation would be? The language in the cancellation confirmation email I received is a form of "dark UX". Designers understand and know web usage behavior. They know that people scan and look for info that meets the criteria they seek and move on. "Your order has been canceled, and the initial purchase amount will be refunded to the payment option on file." Most users will read that and think they're done. Don't need to read further. Their purchase will be refunded. Period. No more charges.
But after that refund sentence, you slipped in "Your membership will remain active however, and you can continue to use Intelius to look up an unlimited number of people, phone numbers, or locations." A sentence that you know most people won't read. You don't include anything about cards being charged $30 per month, dues, payment, Nothing. This practice is deceptive and you know it. When is making enough money just...enough? If I didn't have this experience, perhaps I would have come back and used your service again. Not now. You lost me, a potential repeat customer. Go long. We're humans, not dollar signs. Thanks for listening.

I was trying to access my account on my iPhone. I’m usually at my desk so despite being an account holder for years my phone wasn’t connected to my account. I called customer service and actually got…Service!! Give that Lady a raise!
Intelius Ken-3825 Support staff presented your report that ended Sharon. Died Aug. 17, 2011 which is a shock. What is missing is the cause of Sharon's death. I would expect when you find a subject died you would also find the cause of death. That is what I find a significant deficiency in your report. Please find and report the cause of death or your rating will be low.

I was going through my paypal statement and saw 4 charges from Intelius. Three being for $29 a piece and one for $0.95. I was unaware that these were occurring due to the charges being tied to a CC that was stolen and subsequently cancelled; and replaced with a new card number. I'm not 100% sure on how those payments were able to continue, whether it be a paypal thing or a bank account thing, but I was surprised nonetheless and it's not like they were just some $2.99 charge. I immediately cancelled with paypal and then contacted intelius. I wasn't expecting much, to be honest I wasn't even sure what those payments were for exactly, but I knew I would like to be refunded. Within 24 hours I received an email from them with what the charges were, the account they were under, and a full refund to my account. (haven't gotten it yet as I just read the email and its the holiday weekend- but the email seems pretty official). Very appreciative of their customer support and resolution.
I was pleased with the service however, I only needed a one time. I was charged $2.99. Fair and I was agreeable. Then, I received a charge for a monthly membership. I do not need or want this. Cancellation was easy and I thank you.
I had no idea that I had somehow ordered this service. I feel that I was tricked into ordering it.. I canceled it immediately as soon as I knew about it and was assured that I would not be charged. I have paid for 2 months, please cancel.

I needed to do a reverse lookup of a phone number that unexpectedly showed up in the list of authorization phones in my BofA account. Found Intellius and was happy to pay a dollar for a lookup. To my astonishment, after I paid, they asked me to pay another 4 bucks as a download charge. That's fraud. I opted not to download the "report". On top of it, I discovered a charge for "membership" that I did not sign up for. That's fraud, too. Stay away.

On 7/30/2021 I contacted Intelius Customer Service to resolve a membership/subscription problem. "Tenetia" assisted me and was most helpful and resourceful. Using her thorough knowledge of your network and plans she was able to resolve my issue and promptly restore my access. She also presented a subscription plan that slightly reduced my monthly rate.
I was trying to find my grandson. I found it very interesting the many topics you ran through. Most of the listing about him I recognize, he had moved a lot and I had no idea where he was. Obviously, he does not keep in contact. I sent a letter to the last known address you gave me, no response. (I think he got the letter.) I had received a large check that came here for him, (he lived here six years), but my letter got no response so I returned the check today. Thanks for the information you supplied. If I ever want to find someone I will use you again.
I get all the information I need in my law practice to locate witnesses, answer discovery questions, find heirs, and the like. I am very pleased with Intelius. Using the website is not a problem, even though the app was nice. Only once in recent weeks was there a person (an heir) I could not find using her name, although when I got a phone number from her aunt, I was able to find this person. I would recommend this program to every lawyer.
Marisa was very helpful when I spoke to her about closing my account. When I had to navigate the various menus on the website, she was patient and respectful. While I do not see myself using Intelius again soon, my experience with the rep makes it more likely I will return. Need more folks like her!
I haven't been able to access my reports for the last 2 days. I can reach the site but it never stops processing my request to see my reports. Looks like an infinite loop to me. Please get back to me because at this point I'm paying you for nothing.

I better not get charged for after the trial, just numerous reasons but first and foremost that you wouldn’t get back with me after me writing you saying that I could not get into my account… Like I didn’t even get to use any of the trial so most definitely I’m not paying any charges. I tried to cancel but I can’t cancel if I can’t sign on.. Extremely disappointed you.

For no reason I experienced difficulty signing in to Intelius. The young lady worked with me and we discovered I had turned on VPN in Norton which proved to be the problem. Well done Intelius, well done young lady!
First, let me say Marco is a great asset to your company. I was frustrated about a charge to my account that I didn’t authorized and Marco was very knowledgeable & understanding in helping correct this problem. Honestly, I have never been on a call where I felt listened too and made to feel comfortable speak about a problem. I've been paying 13 or 14 dollars a month to Intelius to have a service whenever I want to look up a phone number or a name. This was good for a while then the last person I talked to from Intelius told me I didn't need the app. But now I haven't been receiving the info I feel I should get when I search someone or a phone number. Doesn't work anymore.

I kept getting these strange calls at least 20 times a day and then I was getting notes at my house. I used these guys to look up this number. Went to the police because it got to the point that I was scared to leave my house. The guy is now in jail for stalking me. Thank you Intelius.
I spent over two hours yesterday trying to get into my account to read a report I ordered last February. I had gotten some kind of notice saying I could read the report for 50% off. I was not willing to do that. The young lady from customer support tried to help me, but to no avail. I am 87 years old, hard of hearing, legally blind, and not very computer literate. The pictures I was supposed to identify (bicycles, bridges, traffic lights, crosswalks) completely defeated me and Intelius had no alternative method of gaining access to QA report.
I think the person trying to help me was out of her depth. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was put on hold for about 20 minutes, and then was told the supervisor was not available. On May 19 I called with the same question and was told I could receive a hard copy of the report in the mail, but it would take about one week. I have yet to receive that hard copy. Yesterday, the representative told me I would be receiving an email with the report in about 48 hours. I am not holding my breath. I tried to fill out the survey you sent, but It would not "submit". I do not think I have ever been as disappointed in a company as I am in Intelius.

I called because I was billed on the 6th day of your 7 day trial. I had already canceled though. I got my Credit Card statement and the 2 charges for 4/20 (4.34 and 1.03) and the 32.60 on 4/26 were on it. Oscar waived the 4/26 charge and the 5/25 charge and retroed back my cancelation like I had called in. Thank you so much for having CS person as good as Oscar working for you.
I thought the marketing was that I’d get to see MY profile of my web searches but it was just a few addresses. What I did see was interesting, and I looked up a few people. I couldn’t bear the cost ongoing because I wasn’t using it each month. I’m interested in the protection plan however. Didn’t know about that. Maybe later.
Tyler was so helpful and patient with me. I am 80 years old and computers are so frustrating for me. He explained how my system works and was successful in fixing the problem so I could use my account with Intelius. You have a great employee!
