Received a bouquet of flowers for Mother's Day from daughter/son-in-law. Flowers were pretty much dead and droopy and roses never opened. Daughter call on the issue, new flowers arrived on Thursday, looked at them this morning and the roses are bent over drooping and the rest of the flowers look very cheap for the amount of money they paid for them. I am very disappointed and if I were to order flowers it would not be from FTD. You need to deliver better quality flowers and especially like they are shown on the site.

I ordered flowers for my daughter to be delivered on Monday May 11th to her work. In the afternoon I received an email saying they were delivered. Since I had not heard from my daughter I really doubted the email. Sure enough no flowers. I called FTD in the morning and was on hold for 26 minutes and they said they were delivered on the 11th at 5:30. The office closes at 4:30. FTD told me they would call the florist and straighten it out and call me back. The ordered was eventually delivered sometime on the 12th. No call back. I then sent a complaint email and received no reply other than 3 or 4 emails saying my flowers had been delivered.

On May 15th I received a voice mail asking me to call so they could get my flowers delivered. Seriously? I call back and have to repeat all the information on my name, address, phone and recipient name address and phone. Then I had to tell the story again. They had no idea why I was calling back even though I gave them my order number. I was at this point given a $20 credit to my credit card. Well, we will see how that works out. Seriously do not give these people your business.

My daughter was so upset. The flowers she ordered sent to me for Mother's Day didn't arrive. Then, she was told that ftd 'cancelled' the order when the local florist was unable to fill the order. ftd lost not just one customer, but the customer's mother and brothers. Total loss of customers for one cancellation: five. Not even an offer to make it right, apparently.

First of all the roses arrived Wed late afternoon and my daughter had ordered them to come on Sat before Mother's Day. By Thursday I called her and told her she should get her money refunded because the flowers heads drooped and they were not opening up. Instead she sent me tulips from flowers dot com and they are beautiful. Following her complaint and request for a refund another bunch of roses arrived on Tuesday evening which I guess were supposed to replace the bad ones. Yesterday afternoon which was Thursday, these too were wilting before opening. I do think that roses should last 5 days minimum. Will never use or recommend ftd.

I ordered flowers for my mother for her birthday from the Mother's day collection. Although the flowers arrived on the correct day, the bouquet she received is nothing like the one I ordered. I am appalled that they did not send her any of the correct flowers. The vase is small and nothing like the online photo. I have sent Customer Service an email and I shall see what they say. I am highly unsatisfied with the arrangement. I didn't have the heart to tell my mother that the picture she sent me wasn't the arrangement I ordered.

I ordered flowers for my mother on her special day 5-8-2015. They were never delivered. I call and was told they tried to deliver but no one was home. That was a lie as my parents can't drive and don't leave the house. After complaining they told me they would deliver on Monday 5-11-2015 (Mother's day was last Friday). I said, "That will have to work". They called me back and said it is now Thursday that they would deliver them 5-14-2015. I said, "Unacceptable, give me a full refund with a confirmation by email of said refund". They assured they would. They never refunded my money and delivered half dead flowers today Thursday 5-14-2015. NEVER, EVER use FTD, the worst company I have ever dealt with.

I ordered flowers to be delivered same day and they were not delivered!! I called and were told that the florist said they delivered. Person never received. They said they would re delivered. Didn't. Called the next day. They claimed they would deliver. Never redelivered my order, but they took my money. Just had to do paperwork with my bank to get my money back! This has to be some type of scam and should be broadcasted in the media. I ordered through another florist. My order came and the flowers were beautiful.. FTD NEVER AGAIN!!!

Despite their website stating that the bouquet would be delivered to my 89-year old mother on Saturday or Sunday of Mother's day, as of Thursday the following week it had not yet been delivered. On Monday I inquired via their website of the order status. No response ever came. Only after calling did they commit to delivering the order. I've also asked for a full refund, but the agent had such a thick accent and the phone quality was so poor that I've no idea what he committed to. We'll just have to see what happens.

I ordered what I thought was a beautiful medium flower arrangement for my mother for Mother's Day. She received them in a box where she found 4 to 5 of the big flowers that had completely fallen of their stems! The arrangement was too big for the vase they sent and within 24 hrs., most flowers had already wilted! I called and complained, they wanted to send out another box of flowers but the moment had passed and I didn't want my mother to be disappointed again. I was then offered $9 toward the $65 arrangement I sent with a coupon to order from them again! No way! Don't order flowers from them! Very disappointed in the quality and customer service to rectify the issue! To quote my mother, "you've wasted your money"!

I waited 3 days and finally called customer service to find out what had happen. Turns out the florist didn't have the flowers for the bouquet I ordered. Instead of calling me and telling me this, they decided not to make the bouquet. The customer service apologized, gave me a 6 dollar voucher, and said the bouquet would be made and sent out.

I waited an entire week and the flowers still have not shown up. I called customer service today and cancelled my order and demanded a full refund. I was promised to receive my money back in 1-3 business days. We will see if that actually happens. I joined this site for the sole purpose of ranting about FTD. I'm waiting for an email from them which should've arrived yesterday morning about my refund, but they promise they'll get back and not follow up. Here's the story: Well before Mother's Day I order two bouquets to be delivered, both to my parent's house, one for my mom to deliver to my grandma. They have guaranteed delivery of Saturday or Sunday on Mother's Day weekend, great! Saturday rolls around, I get a text from my mom with a picture of my grandma's flowers, and she wonders why there's none for her. Awkward. So I call FTD and they ensure my second delivery is on the way! Phew, no big deal. Then while my mom is out with friends, I get a second confirmation that they've been delivered. So, they should be there when she gets home! Nope. So I call, and am assured they'll get in touch with the florist, and get in touch with me in the morning by email. Fiiiine.

Sunday, early morning text from mom, no flowers yet. No email from them either. This sucks because they should've already been delivered, twice, right!? So I call again and am told that they'll have to get in touch with the florist and will probably get back to me Monday morning, after Mother's Day. What. The. **. I stay point black, "You realize this means I'm going to have to call another florist to send flowers, right?" And she unapologetically acknowledged that was the situation. What a ** blow, right? Next call I make is a super friendly florist down the street from my parents who happily saved the day! For a reasonable price, too! I decide FTD really screwed me over, making me have to order a second bouquet from another company, and realize I have to get my money back for forcing me to do this.

In the meantime, I get an email that another delivery has occurred, and in fact, my mom texts a picture of them. A bit later, the second bouquet arrives and my mom is very pleased having two. Regardless, I continue with my plan towards a refund. Poor customer service does not deserve my money. I call back and they kinda sorta maybe realize how they were a little bit in the wrong. What? They say the original delivery promise was Saturday or Sunday, and it was delivered on Saturday or Sunday, though neglect that between the initial promise and final delivery was a new, wild estimate of the day after Mother's Day, Monday! How can you not see this is the opposite of keeping a promise! So they offer 10% off the order. Or a coupon for my next order, like I'm going to use them again. I insist a refund is what is called for, and he obliges, says he'll arrange it and get back the next day by email.

It's now Wednesday night and I've yet to hear from them. I do want the refund, not because I need the money, but because they do not deserve it. I hope this review can persuade at least one person to not risk ruining a nice gesture towards another, by choosing to not use FTD. There are five moments I was lied to, three which were them explicitly choosing to not contact me when they said they would. It's absurd customer service and it ruined my mother's day. Lucky a local florist could step in last minute. Don't use FTD.

On May 7th I tried to order an arrangement for mother's day for my mother via FTD web site. I had a groupon for $40 worth of flowers for $20. The web site for FTD would not recognize my mother's address as a legitimate address so I had to call and speak to someone. I gave them the address and was told by ** that it "went through fine." I was given May 8th as the delivery day and what I ordered was confirmed and my groupon was utilized. I paid an additional $42.00 (the total for the arrangement was $82, so with my groupon I paid a total of $62). The arrangement I choose had a purple vase with distinct lines and the flowers were a beautiful assortment with the color purple being dominate.

The flowers were not delivered on the 8th nor did anyone from FTD or a local branch call my mother or me. The next morning on the 9th my mother was called for directions and told they would be right out. Several hours later around 2ish pm they finally showed. My mother had spent the day waiting. What was delivered was a vase that was clear in color and no lines, just a plain clear vase. I called FTD and told them of the delay in delivery and the vase. I was offered a redelivery. I didn't feel that was necessary as my mother said the flowers were beautiful. I agree to a $10 refund.

A few hours later, I received an email from FTD saying they had spoken to the girl that made the delivery and she had told them I had my parents' address wrong and that is why they were delivered late. I checked my bank account and there was no refund pending. I replied to the email telling them I most certainly didn't have the address wrong and if what she said was correct then why didn't she call on the 8th if she had gotten lost due to an incorrect address? I let them know when the first call was made and when they actually showed.

I also reminded them that the vase was not what I ordered and when I had called the day before was told that if they "run out" of what you order they can replace it whether it is the flowers or the vase. I asked what kind of sense it makes to claim to be able to replace any or all of what someone ordered with something they didn't order. Who would want to do that? Purchase $82 worth of an arrangement and hope you get what you paid for and if not oh well?!

The next day after sending that email with only a pat "thank you for your input we will get to you" kind of response, I got a text with a picture of the now wilting flowers that my sister had taken when she went to see our mother. That's right, after everything else, the only good thing, the flowers, were now wilting after only 3 days!! I sent another email and attached the picture to FTD.

I thought because they had been around for years that FTD would be an honest company that strove to provide the service their customers pay for. I was so very wrong. I shouldn't have assumed because they had been around for a long time that that meant they did good business. I should have read the reviews. They have a one star rating on google and seem pretty content with that considering the level of service I received. It's time the consumer fight back because too many companies are not even giving us what we pay for then blaming us for whatever went wrong. FTD chose to blame me instead of shutting me up with the tiny $10 refund. Ten dollars and they couldn't bust into their profit for it. They should have given me the $10 before I found out that everything I paid for was crap and not just the vase and delivery time.

Well let's just say as a person who never was used to buying flowers online this experience will be the last. I have an account with groupon and I saw they had a sale on flowers and because it was last minute I went for it. I have had flowers sent to me before from ftd and they were absolutely beautiful. I don't know what happened but this service was completely horrible. I purchased two orders of flowers which were 45$ dollars on groupon, the flowers bouquets looked pretty on the picture but when they were received each bouquet was dead the flowers were dry and withered.

I ordered the flowers so that they can come on saturday instead of sunday which was mother's day and both my grandma and my aunt received dead and dry flowers and the bouquets were no more than 5 inches high. It was a miniature size fish bowl my grandma got as well as my aunt, I might as well should have given it to my nephew. They were false advertisements, I thought I was getting normal size bouquets tall with fresh flowers, I got a fish bowl with just a few flowers so I called and complained. The reps were so rude and still did not send my aunt her new flowers. I will never again send my money to this company.

On the day of the delivery, May 9th at 1:59 pm, I received an URGENT Delivery Alert with an apology and an explanation that said "Despite our best efforts, due to exceptionally high seasonal demand in your recipient's area, we regret we were unable to fill your order as requested." They wanted me to respond to deliver my order on Monday with $20 dollars off or to cancel my order and issue a full refund. I chose cancel my order.

By Monday, May 11 at 8 pm, I still did not get credit on my card. I called and was on hold for about 45 minutes. I went on the website and called a number from the complaints' website and a person answered. She took down my information and said I would get a call back within 24 hours. I called again today and was able to talk to someone and found out that I should have received an email stating I will see a credit within 3 to 5 business days. I hope this happens... I am very disappointed with the lack of service. I was promised delivery on 5/9. By the way Mother's Day was on 5/10. It never arrived. On 5/10 I spent my day calling FTD and they told me they are still out making deliveries and my flowers would arrive that day. The purpose of this order was to send flowers to my mother on Mother's Day. I received an email by FTD stating that the flowers were delivered on Monday 5/11. When I contacted the recipient, my mom she said no delivery was ever received. I called today Tuesday 5/12 and spoke with one of the reps and she said it is scheduled for delivery today. She wants to give me a $10.00 coupon toward a future purchase. Are you serious a future purchase?

If you couldn't get it right the first time what makes you think I would entrust such a special occasion to your company again. This is really unacceptable that I had to devote so much time and effort in tracking my delivery on Sunday and then receiving an email stating that my package had arrived. When it didn't. This whole ordeal was a big inconvenience. I also asked to speak to a manager which the rep refused to do. I'm very upset that the only other option offered to me was to cancel the order. Unbelievable how FTD continues to take orders and client's $$$ even though they know they cannot handle the volume of orders. I prefer that you're honest and only take what you can handle. In actuality, the last arrangement was delivered. (3rd pic). Not quite what the picture depicts, and certainly not worth the price I agreed to pay. After about a half hour of arguing my point, the discount went from 10% to 20%. How many people has FTD substituted (what looks to me as...) lesser quality or price, for what people have been charged. If I hadn't called, I would have been just another duped customer.

I'm actually on the phone with my husband when they arrive, I ask him how much did he pay, he said around $70. I tell him this arrangement is really small and cheap and he stated he even upgraded. To tell you how small... My son's 5x7 card is almost as tall as the arrangement. Some of the flowers are curled because half the water is gone. I understand that part of this cost is for delivery charges and fees, but really.

I am the type of person that believes that it's the thought that counts, until a company like FTD cannot make sure their florists represent them correctly and give the customer what they ordered. Flowers are a luxury that many only do for special occasions to make someone feel special. If FTD CANNOT make sure they are delivering a high standard of quality, they need to overhaul all their florist and take a proactive approach to bettering... quality and customer service. I can't believe all the negative feedback and this is not the first time this has happened. But evidently my husband is one for giving people a second chance. Not anymore.

After 2 hours of waiting finally by 3 of clock I called to speak to a supervisor which she told me my order was never called in and I couldn't get my refund back, the supervisor was incredibly rude to me on the phone and said that she would just send me a coupon. Made a Mother's Day order on Tues, the 5th for Friday because they said it was cheaper. Lucky for me I checked my email after watching the news about Mother's Day scams. I was just checking to make sure they were even ordered because I never got a call yesterday. My email said they were to be delivered on Tues. A whole week from the day I ordered, by some guy who didn't speak good English. Then he said “Oh wait, no. Now it will be the 19th.” I ordered them on the 5th. Mother's Day is on the 10th, and it's 5pm on Saturday the 9th. Thanks for making my mom get the shaft bouquet. I cancelled my order. Had to find a local florist just to try and get one closed to the time. When I looked before it was all these 800 people trying to steal the local business numbers, and couldn't find a local florist without someone trying to get a piece of the pie. I got lucky this time.

This order I received was very disappointing. First off; my husband stepped on the delivery box on accident because it was right where someone would step down from our front door. He almost fell. Secondly, the picture I saw for my flowers I purchased was much more flowers than I received and yes, I even spent extra for a larger bouquet. My mom wasn't home -- she lives with me. I felt compelled to open the box and thankfully I did because one of the few roses that came to us was brown. It was one of the lavender roses.

I will never, ever order from them again. I feel very cheated with the amount of flowers I received and the quality as well. I will also tell all my family and friends that they would be better off getting the flowers on their own because it will be cheaper and the flowers would look better. Worst Mother's Day gift I've ever given to my mom. I was tempted to go get a store bought boutique to make up to for this horrible experience. That's ridiculous because my order was $80.00 in total including delivery charges.

When I logged on to track the items, hoping they were just going to be a day late, I saw that "no delivery date estimate is available." The flowers left FTD in California on Thursday and now it appears they won't be delivered for several day. Hmm, I wonder how fresh those flowers will be? Don't use FTD.com. I had upgraded to the "fuller" (more expensive) arrangement. What I received looked nothing like what I was promised. In fact, the spareness of the arrangement looked like a downgrade below the standard arrangement. I ordered through FTD because of their association with USAA. In all fairness, FTD was very quick to refund the price of the arrangement (and shipping), but I can only begin to describe how disappointed I am in the product we received. I can't begin to describe how my wife's delight in receiving flowers changed to something else when she saw the "quality" (or lack of it!) of the flowers she received.

By Thursday, they were almost dead. I called back Thursday and complained about the quality and lack of relief from customer service to a 91 year old woman and again was told "sorry" and only until I pushed did they offer new flowers -- to be exchanged with the delivery person for the dead ones-- but that they could not be delivered until 2 days after Mother's Day. It began with an order for Valentine's Day my husband had made, he is currently training and unable to be here himself. Well, the order never came. They did sent out an email stating that due to all the orders, they were unable to deliver them but would like to offer a $20 refund and a $20 coupon and that the flowers would be delivered the next business day. So the following week came and once again there was no delivery made. So there are the first two failed orders. Then, being kind enough to write off such a disappointment because it had been a Valentine's Day delivery, my husband and I decided to give them another chance. He ordered an arrangement for our daughter's birthday, making sure to place the order 2 weeks out. Well her birthday came and went with no flowers. She is 6 so it is bad enough he couldn't be here, let alone expecting a gift from her dad that never shows.

So I decide to put in a claim for failed delivery to which I received a reply that they were unable to secure a florist and our order had been refunded. My first complaint about this was the fact that they never even attempted to tell us that the order couldn't be, and in fact had sent out a confirmation email. But there was nothing I could do so I waited 10 days for this refund to show up, but like everything else their company does, it never did. So once again I email wanting to know where the refund was since I was told it had been processed, only to receive a reply that in fact it never had been processed and it would be another 5 days before it could be. Truly I am at my wit's end here with this company and have no idea how they are still in business. I will never be recommending them to anyone nor will I ever try using them again myself. If there was anyway to submit this with 0 stars I certainly would do so.

I ordered an arrangement of Beauty and Grace Bouquet by Vera Wang specifically due to the gorgeous peach, red and pale yellow colors of the flowers as they are my friend's favorite colors. I spent hours looking over the website before finally deciding upon this arrangement. This was supposed to be special for her 50th birthday. The arrangement is described as, "sunlit sophistication, this bouquet of fuchsia tulips, peach roses, pale yellow stock and hot pink spray roses are presented in a modern clear glass vase to delight your special recipient with its eye-catching demeanor."

What my friend received, was fuchsia tulips, YELLOW roses, WHITE stock and hot pink spray roses which was not even close to the colors in the pictured arrangement. The vase was tiny and certainly not what is pictured but it was the flowers I was most upset with. I read the substitution policy that says, "The COLORS shown online will be used if at all possible, even if this means substituting other kinds of flowers of equal or greater value." This was not done. In addition, my friend told me the flowers were delivered late on a Friday and had already begun to wither by Monday.

I sent an e-mail complaint via the FTD website on the same day the flowers were delivered. After not receiving any response, I called the following Friday and was told that I was outside the 7 day guarantee window and was offered a 15% discount. I finally got manager to understand that when an e-mail complaint is sent the same day as the delivery and a call is made within 7 days of delivery that the complaint IS WITHIN the 7 day window for guarantee. Promises of rectifying the issue that day were made but there was no follow through. The $125.87 I paid would have bought a ton of grocery store flowers and at least I would have received what I had paid for.

I ordered the Touch of Spring (exquisite bouquet) flower arrangement on Tuesday, March 10th for delivery on Friday, March 13th. I paid for my order and waited for the delivery on Friday. Around 12:30pm when the arrangement hadn’t arrived, I called customer service to find out if they had a guesstimate on when the order would be delivered. To my surprise, they had sent my order to a florist that wasn’t even open anymore!

No one called to let me know of this error. The rep stated they would send my order to another florist and that all would be fine. I called back at 3pm and this rep advised that the order continued to be rejected out of the system and again no one called me to let me know of the system issues they were having. Our job closes at 4:30pm and I wanted her to have the flowers on her birthday delivered to the job. This rep guaranteed me that the order would be delivered by 4:00pm. At 4:17pm I called once again and now they stated that they can only guarantee that orders are delivered by 5pm, to businesses. Keep in mind that they messed up my order and this should have been a priority at this point!!!

I’m beyond upset and just want my money back at this point. 4:40pm comes, the business is closed and a van pulls up. A manager took the flowers and ran outside looking for my sister and gave her the flowers. The flowers we received were NOT what I ordered. In fact, they weren’t even close. Apparently, I had paid $103 for shrubs. My order should have contained peach colored roses, pink Asiatic Lilies, peach gilly flowers, red Peruvian Lilies and orange spray roses. Instead we received 5 dead yellow roses, some purple hydrangeas and a vase full of green bush. The only thing they got correct was the vase.

I was livid. Not only did you send my order late, it wasn’t even what I ordered. There was no way I’m paying for this order. I got on the phone immediately, and the rep stated the driver needed to pick the flowers back up before they were able to refund my money. Today, I was told the money would be refunded to my account, although I don’t see it yet. I will NEVER order flowers from FTD again or recommend anyone to buy flowers from them. They’re robots on the phone and all they do is apologize. I don’t need apologies. I need my order to be as ordered and delivered on time. Below is what I ordered and what we actually received. Around lunch time, I still had not heard back from FTD and my wife told me that no flowers yet.

I once again called FTD to inquire as to the status of my late order. The customer service rep once again placed me on hold while she contacted the florist. When she came back on the line, she told me there was a problem between FTD and the florist and for the problem the flowers would be upgraded. I asked her why I had received an email last night stating the flowers were ordered, in which she said she had no idea why the email was generated. She also informed me that the flowers would be delivered today to the school before school was out.

When my wife was on the way home, I asked her if the flowers were delivered, which they had not. I called FTD customer service once again to voice my displeasure. I was once again placed on hold which she contacted the florist. This time she came back and told me that the florist said the flowers were delivered yesterday and that there was nothing she could do. I told her to cancel the order and refund the amount to my credit card, in which she told me should could not refund the money because the florist stated the flowers were delivered. I asked who signed for the flowers and for some unknown reason, she could not pull that information up in the system. I told her I wanted to speak to her supervisor. I finally (I think) received a refund. FTD customer service does not care nor are they helpful. Stay away from FTD. I will never use them again.

I called the next day, now it was 30% off. The only way to get your money back is for the florist to pick up the arrangement. This is unacceptable. They want to knock on the widow's door and take back the shoddy arrangement?!! Customer service only wanted to see pictures of it after the third phone call, and 45 minutes on the phone. I do want to note that the last time I used FTD, I was pleased but if you're not, it's tough to be reimbursed.

I contacted FTD.com as a pre authorization charge appeared on my bank account for an order that I did not make. Upon explaining this to the billing specialist and asking for fraud department they indicated they could pull the order for me by credit card number. I gave them my card number and they pulled up an order, however I was told she was not able to cancel, was not able to give me any information "due to security purposes". I once again informed the billing specialist that my card was used fraudulently for an order that I did not place and was told that only the person who ordered the flowers could cancel the order... Uhm hello FTD... of course the order isn't in my name...

FTD was not the only charge on my account, I had handled another fraudulent charge through another company and was told the online order would be canceled and they had initiated a refund of charges made to my account. Bottom line any company that does not take a violation of my personal banking information seriously, doesn't deserve my business and others should know and beware. Our family had used FTD for many years but today no more!

The flowers were not delivered; instead I received a call DURING the service, asking that I FTD Customer Service. When I called back, they explained - with no apology - that the florist who was to deliver these had not even opened yet. FTD asked if they could deliver the flowers the next day, Monday, to the family's home and I said “yes”. There was no apology from the FTD representative. Sadly, the flowers were not delivered until today. I will no longer use FTD to deliver flowers, I feel their customer service is very poor, and coordination of the delivery process is very shoddy.

I called to follow up that they did indeed receive it, and the Representative said that they wouldn't be able to deliver it until the following day because I had just ordered it. I stated that it was ordered before their cut off time, and they should not advertise that it can be delivered the same day if submitted before a set time, if it couldn't be. The Representative then said that the Florist didn't have the flowers that I ordered. I asked them what flowers they did have, he said they couldn't be delivered today.

I understand if they don't have the flowers that I ordered, but offer a solution by showing or telling me what they do have instead of just putting my delivery off until the following day. I canceled my order, did a google search and called a local florist that was able to create and deliver flowers the same day. Note to self: Don't assume that your order will be delivered the same day. Call and check.

My husband ordered me flowers for my birthday. They arrived on the correct day but 2 of the hydrangeas were looking in real bad shape. The card and envelope looked like it was written by a first grader. There was no florist info on the card or envelope (That should have made me think!). The next morning they were all dead. My husband called FTD and they said they would redeliver them the next day to my work. I brought the dead flowers back to work with me and guess what...NO DELIVERY!!

My husband called again that evening and got the runaround from the rep. When asked why they didn't get redelivered she said the "florist" was looking into what happened with the original delivery. After my husband demanding a full refund the customer service rep said that they would redeliver the next day (Sat) and he told her that I wouldn't be in work and now it was 3 days after the original delivery and he wanted a refund. She said that she would have a local florist near our home come and pick up the dead flowers and then he would get a credit.

Guess what...they never showed to pick up the dead hydrangeas but in the meantime my husband disputed the charge on his credit card to be sure that we would get the refund. My husband asked the name of the original florist that delivered the flowers and she wouldn't tell him nor would she say which local florist were to come and pick up the dead flowers. My guess is that they don't use "real" florists with any kind of reputation. If I owned a floral business I would not want my name associated with FTD.

By the next day the flowers were NOT delivered. They didn't email me to tell me this. I had to call customer services and they told me "oh... That will be delivered on Tuesday!!" The order when I placed it online came to $40.88 or around that amount. When I talked to customer service the price had changed to almost $80.00.

The customer service representative didn't know what they were taking about. So now I call on Tuesday supposed to be the day of delivery and speak to 3 more customer services reps and they all said it was going to be delivered that day. Plus most of them didn't speak English and were very very hard to understand. The first guy I talked to didn't know what he was talking about either. And in the end hung up on me.

I called back again and spoke to a lady who again couldn't understand!!! I asked to speak to a manager over and over and over again and she refused to put one on the phone. So, she didn't help me at all. I was promised $10 off the order from the first phone call on Saturday and that was NEVER given to me. Another customer service rep told me later "we don't give discounts!!"

So they lied to me. And so now it's Tuesday night and the flowers were NEVER delivered... So now at 9:00 last night I had to call again. This time I got a lady who told me she would get them delivered Wednesday and would give me 20% off the bill and send me a $15.00 off coupon for my inconvenience which was again never emailed to me... So now it's Wednesday and the flower were finally delivered. And the only way I know this is I finally got my first email from them.

So I called to check the billed amount and now was told the flowers were almost $67.00!!! What they started out at $40.00. The woman again place me on hold forever and came back to the phone and tried to explain. It was unsuccessfully again. I asked to speak to a manager and she won't transfer me... And ask for the bill to be emailed to me so I can review it because I didn't understand Her. Yet again and she hung up on me!!! I haven't heard from the person I delivered the flowers to so I don't know yet what shape they are in. It was supposed to be a Valentine's Day surprised. Which never happened. I will never again use them. I feel like I was lied to many times and ripped off.

I spent hours looking through pictures FTD had online for a brightly colored arrangement with cheerful and contrasting colors and long lasting flowers. I needed a bouquet that my mother would be able to see since she is nearly blind. As soon as they were delivered to the hospital, my sister sent me a picture of the flowers. What a mess! The flowers were sparse and colors were completely different than shown in the photo. Several stems were broken. The colors were dark and blah. The arrangement did not even remotely resemble what I had ordered and paid for.

A grocery store arrangement would have been more professionally arranged. I sent countless emails and made several phone calls to FTD and to the florist (Peters and Sons Florist) directly. The florist blamed FTD for giving them little money to work with and they thought my mother's bouquet was adequate. I finally went to PayPal and filed a complaint. They withheld releasing the funds to FTD until the issue was resolved. Thanks to PayPal, I finally got a refund. FTD was not at all helpful or apologetic for the substandard arrangement my mother received. The florist was rude and defensive and should be embarrassed by the product they delivered. I ordered my mother the lush RED rose bouquet for valentines day, original price $59.99, but received a corporate discount thru my company, with delivery and tax $70. They showed up and were the most miniature vase of 8 MULTI-colored flowers, possibly carnations, maybe two roses, and not in the best condition by any means. I did NOT order the smallest size either, so aside from the flowers not being what I ordered at all, they came in the smallest form possible. I would have been fine if they substituted the flowers and were proportionate to the size, and color, but not even close. I have tried to rectify this with ftd.com and the flower shop who sent them, but have heard nothing yet. I have used 1-800-Flowers always, and realize now I made a mistake trying something new. Terribly sad...my mom deserves better. They should be ashamed.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mother/sister/niece for Valentine's Day. I had the delivery date set for 2/13 to make sure it was there by Valentine's Day. I received a notice that the item had "shipped" from FTD.com. When I didn't hear from my family on the 13th, I checked the tracking with UPS and it said a label had been created on 2/12. I checked again on Valentine's Day and the status had not changed on the UPS site, so I called them.

I found out that they had not even received the delivery from FTD.com. I called FTD.com to see what the problem was with the delivery. The lady was very rude. She required that I give her every piece of information you could imagine to "look up" my order. Apparently my full name, address, and order number was not enough.

Anyway she said that she would have to check to see if "the item was in stock" and see if they could have it there by the 17th. Would that be okay? NO, that is not okay! I wanted to surprise my 76 yr old mother with flowers on Valentine's Day not 3 days later. She then said that she would give me a $10 off towards my next order and have them delivered on the 17th. Would that be okay? NO!!

I had to tell her at least 3 times that I wanted to cancel the order and get my money back. She said that she would "personally assure me" that this would not happen on any future orders. Ummmm that's another false promise. She has no control over the orders, heck- she couldn't even tell me why the order I was calling about didn't make it by the promised (and paid for) time/date.

She got angry with me for not accepting her offer for a late delivery (if they had the "item in stock") and then was very quick to say "I am cancelling your order". I am hoping my money will be refunded, but feel that may be an uphill battle. I will NEVER use this company again. I wish I had put some time into reading the reviews before I ordered from them. The saddest part is now, the element of a surprise of Valentine's Day flowers to family in another state is ruined. Thanks FTD.com.

I spent over $90 for My heart to yours Rose Bouquet-Premium (this includes shipping) and when my wife received it, it was so tiny. The flowers were short and tiny. This is what you get for an upgrade? I don't know who they contract to make the bouquet and delivery, but it is not worth the money. I could have spent $25 at Walmart for better flowers. What a ripoff. I will never order from FTD again.

I'm writing this review for my husband. We regret not seeing the reviews people had online before ordering. This company has ONE lady for customer service who changes her name every time we call asking to speak to a supervisor. The order I placed for a special vase with roses was not what was delivered. Instead it looked like something put together by the 2 teenage boys who delivered them to my house. Never recommend ordering from this site.

When I spoke to the customer service rep she said the first time her name was Patrina Jewel. The second time I called again her name was Anna yet every attempt to speak with her supervisor she says he's on the other line with other customers. So we tried calling while one of us was on the phone, there's not another person there to take my call while she was on the other line with my husband.

They don't have a normal customer service where there's a group of people on the phone with other customers. My husband was put on hold for 10 minutes, that's when she answered my call. When she answered, this time her name changed again. What a wasted $144 spent. I hated to see my husband so disappointed the way he looked today.

Then 20 dollars shipping, all said and done almost 90 dollars for the smallest bouquet of baby roses I've ever seen. I didn't know there were roses that small. 3 or 4 of them weren't even bloomed. I took a picture of the bouquet next to a Dixie cup, in hopes to attach. They were similar in size. If this is the norm for online florists, I wish them luck.

FTD Flowers sucks. I ordered a bouquet at 3 am Friday morning. At around 8:30 they called me to tell me that arrangement was no longer available, that I could choose another one. I chose another one, they confirmed it was available (and when I'm saying available, I mean for same day delivery). They called me back an hour later and said that was was not available either. Each time they would call me, they would put me on hold "while they called a florist" to see if it was in fact available or not. Why didn't they do this before calling me. First 2 phone calls lasted 32 and 46 minutes. I chose a third arrangement that I was told was available. I was called back because it was not available. This time I told the person, "how bout you tell me what you do have available and I'll choose one."

After choosing 6 that were not available, she found one, called the florist who confirmed it was available; this phone call lasted 1:08:02. Ask me if I wasn't pissed. 30 minutes later, they called to say it was not available. I completely lost my ** and went the hell off. I usually don't do this, but lately I'm just cursed with bad luck (between my phone and these flowers). I understand that it's Valentines Day, the busiest day for flowers. BUT shouldn't the florist have had a lot more flowers considering? (BTW I wasn't even ordering Valentine flowers, it was for my boss, a funeral wreath or Ficus tree would have made me happy at this point).

IF NONE OF THESE ARRANGEMENTS ARE AVAILABLE WHY ARE THEY STILL ON THE WEBSITE ALLOWING YOU TO ORDER THEM SHOWING "SAME DAY DELIVERY AVAILABLE". They told me that it was because it was valentine's day and that their call centers deal with over 40,000 florist, that there was no way to keep up. Well I work for IHG and we have 4,600 hotels with 671,000 rooms, YET our call centers and websites know when we are sold out. Sometimes the systems are out of balance, but it is our job to make sure that we stay on top of it so that they are balanced. Especially during busy times. Take for example a hotel in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. No room left, are we going to keep taking reservations over the phone and online, then call the people to cancel? BTW, each time an arrangement wasn't available, I had to cancel and reorder, they couldn't just change the order.

So I ordered my daughter a floral arrangement for Valentine's Day, over a week ago, but when I called this morning to check to make sure the order was correct, they had not put my order in. So the rep was suppose to put the order in and guarantee it for delivery TODAY 2/13/2015. I told him just make sure that my daughter has it by 3:00 pm because that's when she gets off. He assured me that she would have it and I paid the extra shipping cost to make sure that she would have it. The total came out to $80, but nothing is too much for my daughter, it's a tradition I have done since she was little, but I had never used FTD.

Well I go to lunch and I come back and call her just to see if she would say anything about getting flowers, and to my surprise at 1:00 pm, NOTHING HAD CAME... I proceeding to calling FTD, and I was informed that the product that I order was sold out. Now why the hell wasn't I told this at 8:00 am, I don't know. So now she is apologizing and telling me she was going to give me a 15% discount on my next purchase, well hell no because I will not be ordering from your company again. She then told me she had a florist that would assure me the arrangement but bigger by today 2/13/2015. I didn't trust that at this time so I asked to be placed on hold while she contacted the florist to make sure. Not surprised at all when she came back to the phone and said she could not find a florist to delivery today.

I was furious, so I demanded my money back and waited on the phone while she processed my refund in the system. If I do not receive a refund in 3-5 days, I will be making a compliant with the BBB, because this is ridiculous how this company is ripping people off, and I should have read your reviews first. The flowers sat outside approximately 5 seconds before I brought them inside. It was obvious they had frozen somewhere, some point in transit. I phoned customer service and got a man who spoke minimal English, it became apparent after 15 minutes of back and forth and being put on hold for 5 minutes, that he didn't have a clue as to what I was talking about, his English was that bad. He said flowers would be delivered again the following day. I repeatedly asked him was he certain, 100% certain? Oh yes. He told me he's send a confirmation email, at that point I knew he didn't have a clue, he didn't even have my email address! He just couldn't grasp that I was the recipient.

I insisted on speaking with a supervisor, on hold for another 5 minutes, get a woman who speaks only marginally better saying she was an "assistant supervisor". When you ask their names, they hesitate and then make up a name. She also assured me replacement flowers would come the next day. Nothing came. I also emailed the company on their website customer service page, no reply at all. Had to tell the sender about the flowers, she felt awful, phoned customer service and this time was told replacements would be sent two days later. She was able to get a tracking number. The flowers aren't local, they are shipped to Kentucky from California, and then to their destination, so you are taking a HUGE chance with them. Never, ever, would I order from them or suggest them to anyone. They should be investigated.

I won't bore you with the details of the delivery phone calls and emails (too numerous to count), I will let you see for yourself what my wife received after the "upgraded" delivery because FTD was unable to honor their commitment for a delivery after ordering this over three weeks early. The delivery was handled by FedEX and everyone knows that delivery companies are extremely careful with packages, NOT!

In the picture you will notice the lack of buds, the lack of filling the gigantic "free" vase and the lack of the flowers that I paid for. I don't know about you, but I see a considerable difference between the website photo and the "junk" my wife received. I have ordered from FTD more times than I can count over the years, but the last two have been disastrous. I thought after last year, I would give them one last try because, as I said, I have ordered from them numerous times. I will no longer be a customer of theirs and neither should you. Save yourself some time, headache and lost money. Go to other floral company that will give you what you pay for and what the recipient deserves. By the way, there is a ceiling light shining onto the flowers and I used a flash for the camera too.

This year, I was able to afford a nice flower arrangement for my wife for Valentines day. I picked out a premium bouquet called The FTD Casual Elegance Bouquet. It arrived on the day I specified, but when my wife sent me the picture and said it was nice, I about lost it. She also asked if it was what I ordered. I told her no and sent a picture of what it was supposed to look like. She said it was totally different.

I was upset for the fact I hadn't been able to afford this in the past and now they got it wrong. I didn't stop there. I called to complain and got a foreign person on the phone. No issue with that because I've dealt with heavier accents than this person. The problem was she couldn't understand me and I had to constantly repeat myself. After she supposedly called the local florist, she said they could give me 20 percent and a 10 dollar coupon. I said "You can't have them picked up and refund me the $94.99 I spent on just the flowers?" She said no.

Then why does it say a replacement or refund for 7 days on their website. After 20 min on the phone, I hung up and called my wife. She called FTD and talked to a foreign person. They tried the same 20 percent and 10 dollar coupon crap with her and she let them have it. In the end, they said the florist would come pick up the flowers and that I would get a full refund. We'll see. Never again!

I ordered a $55 arrangement for my husband that was an upgrade, however, a smaller and not upgraded arrangement arrived. I called FTD to ask why the smaller arrangement and the gentleman offered me 10% discount. I asked for the correct arrangement to be delivered and they could have the small one back but he declined. He is refunding $5 when I paid $10 hmmmm... I asked for a supervisor.

I was on hold for 33 minutes and then disconnected. I called back and after a shorter wait I was connected with a supervisor, Kim **. I sent her pictures of their advertised flowers and picture of the delivered flowers and she agreed the arrangement was "sparse" and wrote that she would refund some of my money but keep the groupon and the FTD discount I had used. Shortly thereafter a delivery man went to my husband's work and asked for the flowers and vase back! My husband did not know I was trying to correct his arrangement, it appeared they were taking the flowers back.

I wrote to Kim ** and ask if she sent the delivery driver. That was hours ago and still no response. A woman who was very hard to understand called my phone and said she was sorry they did not call me first before picking up flowers and said she would give me 15% discount. So now I am still paying $10 more and receiving $8 in refund. Interesting math at FTD. I wonder how many people do not even know their flowers are not upgraded and if they complain take the 10%, which is very profitable to return less than you are paid. I again wrote to Kim ** and asked if she send the delivery pickup and asked what was going on but still no response. I will be interested to see if I receive any refund.

The bottom line, I paid UPGRADED price and they delivered INFERIOR product. Now I am worried about the two previous orders I had sent in the last two weeks. I do not trust FTD nor their upgrades; false advertising scam if you ask my opinion. After my first order they offered a $10 discount on next order but when I placed the next order they would only give me $5. If FTD only wants to give $5 that's fine but that is what they should write; not that they are giving $10 off. I wish I would have seen these reviews before I placed those three orders. I always thought FTD had a good reputation but in my opinion FTD is clearly playing fast and loose with their advertising, switching to a lesser product and their poor customer service.

Here is the real story about FTD. They have beautiful pictures at fantastic prices. All their pictures are one sided meaning that in reality if you got an arrangement from FTD it would be flat on the back. However since they aren't a real florist and rely upon a real shop to fill orders then it works like this. You pay $60.00 for an arrangement plus a $18.00 service fee (real florists don't charge service fees). Add tax and you're paying $80+. They then send the order to a florist in the delivery area and only give them $43.80. Plus they charge the florist an FTD fee for accepting the order of $1.75 and there is no delivery fee which costs a florist $10.00. So your $80.00 purchase will never look like what you ordered because FTD doesn't pay the florist the whole amount, and charges them for taking orders. FTD, 800-Flowers, Teleflora and any other "online florists" work the same way. Call a local florist

Burned twice and it's the last time I will do business with them. They promise what they cannot deliver. If they don't have enough florists on Cape Cod, they should announce this upfront so that the consumer can find another vendor. If they really only have a very few florists working with them now, let's not deceive the consumer. I had never had a problem with them until these last two orders. Their website manages to not give you an email address where you can complain about a non-delivery… How convenient for them! 1-800 Flowers has a scant selection but they came through for me in December after FTD failed. I placed an order with FTD online and used a Groupon worth $30, applied to a 10% bouquet. I was not aware that the fine print said I wasn't allowed to use two discounts, and apparently neither was the online calculator because my total came out to $31.54, $33.99 less than full price. I'm a college student so pinching pennies is a necessity to say the least. I checked out and received a confirmation email with the price on it.

On Sunday, I received a notice from my bank saying my account had been overdrawn. That was impossible, since I hadn't paid for anything else besides the flowers. When I checked, FTD had charged me $61.54, DOUBLE what they had confirmed. I called the company to ask why, and they told me my Groupon had already been used so the discount had been taken off.

First of all, I hadn't used it, but I'll admit there's a possibility it was used by someone else in my family. That wasn't the problem. The problem was that I never received an email about the change in price or allowed the opportunity to rescind my purchase. I asked to talk to a manager and was told that there was nothing they could do since the Groupon was invalid. No show of apology, no offering of a discount coupon, nothing. Fortunately, my bank was able to resolve the situation (to them the problem was so blatantly obvious that it took less than 10 minutes to fix the problem). FTD, however, has definitely lost a customer.

Nine days later and still no flowers. I called FTD to see what was going on. They told me they were delivered the 10th of Jan. Which was a lie. Then they said they were delivered on the 16th. Another lie. Talked to a supervisor and they said the flowers were going to be delivered before seven today, then another told me in two days. Told them this was not acceptable, I wanted them today. Told us the florist was closed.

We called the florist and they said FTD placed the order and she needed more money to fix it. They never returned her call or email. FTD was going to just keep the money from my son and never deliver any flowers. After hours of calls and talking to everyone there. They finally agreed to have the flowers delivered and to give my son back his money.

They did bring them nine days late.. This caused Lots of stress, lots of apologies from my son for it not being here, something that was not his fault. FTD told lots and lots of lies. Each person you talked to told you another lie. This was the reps, the manager and the supervisor. They are supposed to email me in two days to explain why flowers are not delivered when ordered. We will see if I get it or if this is another lie from them.

I'll be short, and to the point, because this still makes me mad: Bought flowers online for my Brother-in-law's Dad viewing. Collected money from my family members and bought an "arrangement" for about $153.00. Mind you, this is upstate NY not expensive New York City. Got to the viewing and when I was directed to my "arrangement" I almost died. It was 3 flowers with some green garbage around it. It was so small it brought me to tears.

I called them and complained and they told me the florist "was going to call me back". They NEVER did. Then they offered me a 50$ refund and I refused. Contacted my credit card and got all back. Weeks later I get 50$ from them, weeks after I refused the credit! This was never about the money, but about how embarrassing this was to my family. There are no do-overs after a viewing, and this is a family we love and respect.....stay away!!!!!!

I was in Switzerland when my mother had to go in for unexpected open heart surgery. I was unable to leave Switzerland to be with her so of course I tried to send flowers as it's the least I could do. I ordered what looked like a very nice arrangement. The first day it was supposed to arrive, I got a confirmation email that it had been delivered, but my mom said she hadn't received anything. So, I called and they assured me it would be delivered the next day. It was not delivered the next day or the next or the next, or at all that week. I called almost every day that the flowers weren't delivered and every day they assured me the flowers would be delivered the following day. I kept getting emails about how the delivery had been delayed, "please respond", I replied and of course got no answer.

On the 5th day of emailing and calling I asked to speak to a supervisor. I told him that I was really upset with the situation and that, unfortunately, there had been complications and my mother was still in the hospital and that made the flowers even more important. He refunded my shipping costs and upgraded the arrangement for free, again promising the flowers would arrive the next day. Of course, they didn't. I called again and asked to speak to a supervisor. Finally I felt like I had gotten someone on the phone who understand how upsetting the whole thing was. She refunded my money and, as my mother was being released from the hospital since it was a week and a half after I had initially tried to send the arrangement, assured me that she would send a dozen complimentary roses to my mother's house and call my mother to explain that I had tried diligently to send her flowers in the hospital and that it was their fault, etc.

I did receive the refund, but, of course, the flowers were never delivered. NEVER EVER using FTD again. It's so upsetting how something so simple as sending flowers can mean so much in a situation like that and FTD was completely apathetic and failed over and over again to do their job.

I placed an online order for same-day delivery at 6:30 am local time and by 8:30 pm no delivery had occurred. I called FTD customer service to inquire as to why the order was not delivered and they had no explanation. They could not even make contact with the local florist. I was furious because nobody had bothered to contact me all day to let me know that the order was not going to arrive. Therefore, I missed an opportunity to place an order with another company. As a result, a timely surprise for a family member was ruined. FTD has lost my business forever and I will be sure to encourage anyone who is looking for a florist to stay away from FTD. They did provide a full refund but that was meaningless since the family surprise was ruined.

Horrible results after ordering a $75+ delivery bouquet online. Looked nothing like the fresh flowers pictured online. Delivered by UPS driver, wrapped in paper and no water in the vase. Looked like a do-it-yourself flower arrangement.. "Just add water & they'll magically spring to life"... didn't happen. Still look like flowers you'd throw out after they've gone limp. Must've been sitting on a warehouse shelf somewhere. Will never use FTD again.

I ordered flowers for my mother's birthday. She was happy I sent them to her. However, when she sent me a picture of what they looked like, I said, “Mom those are not the ones I sent.” So I sent her a picture of what they were suppose to resemble. I called FTD.com and complained like the good American girl that I am. And the customer service was horrible. He said he called the flower shop and they said the recipe was followed. I said well, Okay. However, the weeds my mother received did not look like the picture they had advertised online. I spent over 75$ for something that is worth less than 15$. The grocery store has nicer flowers than what was sent. I am so unhappy with their service. Never purchasing from them again! They lost a customer forever. And if I were you I wouldn't either! Buyer Beware!

A client sent me a Christmas gift of one of the ftd bouquets; it was supposed to be delivered on 12/22. It arrived on 12/24; 2 days after it was promised...supposed to have red carnations and roses, and white lilies. What I received was a grand total of 8 blooms, tightly budded, bound together and zip-tied into a flat box. I had to put the arrangement together with 3 puny stalks of greenery and 3 fake pine cones. The vase that came with the arrangement was HUGE, and there were so few flowers and greenery that the arrangement just appeared to float along the edges of the vase. My client asked for a picture of the arrangement and she contacted ftd and told them it was not what she ordered; she was very disappointed. I sent ftd a picture and they offered to send me a replacement arrangement from a local florist. My client got her money back in full but no replacement arrangement was received on the day promised. Still waiting... but not holding my breath after reading all of the other many complaints. Do not waste your money---use a local florist for better value and customer service!!

I ordered flowers for my mum's birthday to be delivered yesterday (Sunday January 4th). I placed my order the Thursday before (January 1st) and wanted them delivered ON her birthday.

Yesterday morning, I get an email saying there's been a delay. I was thinking a hour or two delayed, which is completely acceptable. When I called them to see what was going on, they said they would be delivering the flowers Thursday January 8th! FOUR DAYS AFTER her birthday! When asked why, or for some explanation, I received none. They asked if I'd like to cancel my order, but since my mum lives 6 hours away, and I can't just drop by whenever I want, I stuck with the delivery date. We'll see if they actually get there.

It's a good thing I didn't order these flowers for a funeral, because the person would've been under six feet of dirt before they actually arrived. I'm extremely disappointed and I hope groupon drops them from their offerings. DO NOT buy the groupon for ftd.ca and DO NOT use this service. Not good.

Ordered flowers 12/22 for same day delivery. No flowers received. Called morning of 12/23 to find out that the store didn't have flowers. My order was given to another store. I ask the rep to call to ensure arrangement is available. Rep confirms that flowers will be delivered same day. I ask for delivery charge to be waived and agreed. I receive an email charging me for *full amount* on 12/24. I return from vacation on 01/02 only to find arrangement not received. I call and rep informs me that they didn't have flowers, therefore refunded total amount. No notification of cancellation - appalling. I spoke to supervisor, Lester, who asked if i wanted to place another order.

When asked why their "substitution policy" was not employed, and how could they cancel an order without advising the customer, Sr. Advisor, **, had no explanation. She too suggested I place another order. I asked if there was any compensation and after my prompting several times, she offered 40% off flowers only...a savings of a mere $20. There are similar offers currently online from FTD. Obviously, customer service is not a priority in a company that should pride itself on customer satisfaction. You are better off ordering from a local company and speaking to them directly. Stay clear of FTD... You will save yourself time, frustration and money!! Very disappointing to experience over the holidays.

The bouquet that was delivered matched the arrangement in terms of flowers but had so few blooms that it looked like the 39.99 version-- not the 59.99 version. What is the point of them having images if you can't rely on the images to manage customer expectations. My mom was the recipient. Her words were "thanks, but you got ripped off". I'm sure I could have went to a grocery store with 25.00 and got a comparable bouquet.

On Dec. 15, 2015, I went online to FTD.com to order the FTD Glowing Elegance Centerpiece. It had 4 levels of flowers: good for $54.99, better for $64.99, best for $79.99, exquisite for $89.99. Since this arrangement was for my family's annual Christmas party, a very special event for all of us, I ordered the Exquisite arrangement. When I clicked on my shopping basket, however, it showed: "Good $89.99." Concerned that there might be some confusion as to which arrangement I had chosen and was paying for, I canceled my online order and called FTD at 1-800-736-3383, the number listed at the bottom on the webpage for this arrangement.

I shared my concern with the representative over the phone, and she said that there would be no problem with that, that she would take care of that. I then put in a phone order for the above exquisite-level arrangement. The centerpiece was delivered, as promised, on Dec. 19, 2015. My brother texted me a picture, and I thought it looked very skimpy. I was traveling and unable to contact FTD that day. The next day, my niece emailed me another picture of the arrangement from the party. It was definitely skimpy. It appeared that FTD had delivered the good arrangement, not the exquisite arrangement.

I called FTD on Saturday night, Dec. 20, 2015, and they offered to pick up the good arrangement and deliver the exquisite arrangement on Monday, Dec. 22, 2015. On Monday, when I had heard nothing from FTD, I called them again at 4:00 p.m. They had no record of my previous conversation or their offer to resolve the problem. They said they would deliver the correct arrangement on Tuesday, Dec. 23, and give me a free upgrade. When they said "free upgrade," I became very concerned because I had ordered the highest level offered. I asked them how they could give me a free upgrade, what they were upgrading to, and they said "Don't worry about it. This will be a very nice arrangement."

Well, by Tuesday evening at 4:00 p.m., FTD still had not delivered the "upgraded" arrangement. I called them again and said I just wanted a refund. On Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 23, 2015, I called my brother again, telling him that I had given up and just asked for a refund. He told me that at 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 22, 2015, a florist had come by and delivered another arrangement that looked just like the first arrangement. I was furious. I called FTD. They have told me that they have submitted a refund. It has not appeared on my credit card yet as of today, Dec. 24, 2015.

Since I live 2000 miles away from my family, it means a lot to me to share this occasion with them by contributing a centerpiece to the dining room table, which is served as a buffet. I miss my family so much at Christmas, and I love them so much. Sending a nice bouquet is a way for me to express this love. Sending a skimpy bouquet sends another message entirely, especially since they know I can afford a nice bouquet. I was so crestfallen and sad, I cried most of the night. My brother has helped me with this, suggesting a florist they use in town. I will use this florist next year. I would like someone to look into what FTD is doing with the different levels of arrangements. This may be a huge rip off.
