It's fairly easy to find the product I want to purchase by using eBay's search engine feature and look at current and sold items. Most of the time, the purchasing process goes off without a hitch. I like that many sellers offer free shipping. I like the variety of items available. I like that I can shop the site anytime I want 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, when it is convenient for me. However, I dislike not knowing for sure the condition of the item you are buying until you actually have it in hand. Takes a good amount of trust. Also, I don't like that it's hard to ask questions of a seller because eBay has so many rules about what can or can't be asked.

My overall experience is usually pretty good with eBay. The products and customer service is always very good. Shipping is pretty fast as well not to mention handled with care until it arrives to me. I like the fact that eBay has a wider variety of items than a lot of other online stores and even local stores. I also like that eBay has vendors from around the world so now it is easier to get odd stuff. However I don't like the rules for the gift cards. Not being able to just use the gift card without a bank account is nonsense. Only being able to use up to eight gift cards at a time is also a whole bunch of nonsense.

I have purchased clothing, shoes, socks and bird feeders. I love that almost everything you need can be found on this one website. I even enjoy looking at items that I have no need for. I love the ability to choose how to view products from cost to availability. I also enjoy the detailed images and descriptions of products. It makes for a super shopping experience. However sometimes the auctions end sooner than I thought and sometimes the sellers are unreliable. I like the payment options though and the overall experience is wonderful.

My overall experience with the eBay website has been excellent. The purchasing process runs very smoothly and I like the website's selection of products and good prices of said products. The website's use of PayPal, and how it is integrated into the site is also a plus. Everything on the website works well and I've never had a problem with payments or other sellers.

Prices are amazing on eBay and easy to search for products that I need. You can pay with PayPal, but I don't like that only 3 gift cards can apply during checkout. Hope I can apply gift cards more than that. Happened to me one time I have 5-6 gift cards but didn't finish my shopping because of that. Also, wish people can review on each listed products. Other than that, they have good customer service and they respond when you need assistance. It was a great shopping experience and I would really recommend the website.

eBay is a wonderful place to buy and sell. I like everything about them. They are helping me figure out everything about the item I'm looking at and seeing if it's what I'm looking for. They put all the details and wordings that helps you figure out if you want the item or not. I also like that you can see the ratings of the seller and how well they ship their items and if they are true to their word.

EBay Resolution Centre is a waste of time. They will always take seller's side. I bought a rug which was not delivered when specified which was then returned to sender. This was all shown in tracking information. The seller refused a full refund and wanted to hold delivery cost even though it was offered as free delivery tool case to eBay who closed it in seller's favour. I am now out of pocket by 24.00. Seller is laughing his boots off (land of rugs). Warning -- Never get caught by this as you get no support from eBay as if they find in buyer's favour they get no fees!!!

Overall I've had pretty good experiences. I'm usually able to find what I want, and payment through PayPal is easy. The website is designed well. Categories are helpful and sorting is easy. I like the variety of products on the site. I also appreciate the ability to find a good deal/price on most items. It's also a pretty useful site for discontinued or hard-to-find products. It's also helpful to see a particular seller's other products because I'm likely to be interested in what else they have. But I dislike that most sellers do not allow refunds at all whatsoever. Also, those sellers who do actually allow refunds will charge a hefty restocking fee or make you jump through a lot of hoops just to return something that didn't work out. Another issue is that a large amount of sellers are based in China, and when they ship overseas it can take a very long time for your orders to arrive. Another thing I dislike is the look of the site itself. It can feel very busy/clunky at times.

It was very easy to purchase and the product arrived very quickly. I really like that eBay now backs your purchases and that you can see what other people are bidding. I also like that you can leave feedback on the person you bought from which was nice. It lets other people know what kind of seller they are. But I wish they would monitor the shipping more because some of it is way too expensive. They also don't know the people so you never know if you are going to get ripped off or not.

I like the variety of items offered. Also, eBay protects their customers with their money back guarantee and seller protection. That is very important. However, I find their customer service to be poor. It's very difficult to find someone to contact when I had an issue and an even harder time finding someone that spoke English. Also, I dislike the amount of money they take for commission and that they also make you use PayPal, which takes another part of your sale's commission and can jack up prices.

They seem to have anything you are looking for. Whatever you are looking for, go to the search engine and there it all is. I like the idea of refurbished items with a guarantee attached to it. I have heard from a couple of my friends that eBay isn't as secure as they claim to be. I was a little scared at first to try it, but my experience with eBay has been nothing but positive through the entire process. I had plenty of items to select from. After adding that to my cart, paying for it was easy. The package arrived on time. I had a good experience through the entire process.

I have purchase several items off of eBay and I have an account. I also have bid on many items and it is very convenient. But when you bid on items, someone can come and outbid you. Other than that eBay is one of the best online places to shop.

A fun time shopping. I like how easy it is to use. No store crowds and no line to wait in. I can shop at any time and it's never closed. I found everything I needed no matter what time I shop. Anytime there has been one, eBay’s customer service has taken care of it. Also, the purchasing process is very quick after setting up a PayPal account, and much easier than entering your credit card number repeatedly. They also have the best prices on almost anything I regularly buy on any website.

There is a large selection of the merchandise I'm looking for and their pricing is a lot lower than Amazon. It is great as well being able to compare prices. Most items are free shipping too without any min purchase order. Also a repeat buyer to many of the merchants on Ebay. There’s no hassle also to return anything. They have a great return policy and so far I have not been disappointed in any of my purchases. I really enjoy shopping on Ebay.

eBay is a good way to find things that can't be found in stores like a missing piece to something, old car parts, things that have been discontinued and collectibles. I like eBay. It has a wide variety of items. It is fun to buy and bid on things and you can sell things too. Sometimes you have to bid and you lose and you have to wait for the bidding to end. I worry about be ripped off or it wouldn't be as advertised and that it is a scam and my Money would be returned but so far everyone has been honest. I have received everything and it has come when expected. I will use eBay again.

I always look at eBay when looking for products not easily found. There are lots of choices to find the best deal. It's quick and easy to purchase and the products I received have been as expected. Their customer service is responsive and any issues I've had were handled quickly to my satisfaction. On the other hand, there could be dishonest sellers which I have not come across. Also, I do not like care for the bidding process mainly because I'd rather just purchase outright. But there are more options to purchase now rather than bid.

I like that you can buy anything on eBay.com and you can buy it cheaper than anywhere else for the most part. I like the fact that you can also sell some of the stuff you do not want no more and as long as it is in good condition, you will get a decent price for it. It is a good one for me to know where I can go to purchase what I need. However, scammers on the site have tried me there but good thing they guarantee the purchases and they will pay you back for the money you lost and ban the person selling or scamming the item. I want to know that what I get there that I see in the picture, is what I am actually getting and once I did not get what was in the picture ad, it tied me up for awhile but it is a good experience for me to know what is what I need at eBay.com. I need to know what is right for me and what is good there and it is a good thing for me to know what I am getting when I buy from these companies online.

It's so easy to find product details and lowest prices. They are easy to use and I sell stuff sometimes too. I had a good experience using eBay. I ordered several items and they were delivered as promised. I like the fact that eBay shows pictures of products so that I can order what I want. Every time I order from their website everything was in good condition and just as pictured on eBay. There is also reviews on sellers to have safer purchases and more reliability. I love that you can use PayPal for a safer payment option. But sometimes you get bad sellers with bad product that does not fit the description or right condition. And sometimes those sellers make it hard to get your money back or too hard to even exchange.

I loved eBay. They did a great job of helping and it was set up easy so you could buy stuff offline. I loved that it was easy to navigate around the site and you could easily do a word search and find the product. I also like all of the choices on the site. But I wish that eBay would say exactly how much shipping will cost. And they should do a better job of taking picture of the clothing item and to have trackers on every package. But other than that, eBay was extremely run well.

I like eBay's ability to bid on things from around the world. Stuff that you don't want to buy in public or that you can't find locally where you live or usually go. However, I don't like paying for a membership and their refund policy. There should be a mandatory refund policy when someone downright lies to you about the item you are buying like when I bought a textbook for college wherein they sent me the study book instead and I never got a refund. It had the exact same ISPN but was NOT the actual textbook as it appeared to be by the sneaky seller. I even emailed and personally asked if it was the book and she lied. So I haven't had anything to do with the company since then.

Product selection is usually pretty good. I can find items for a lot less than retail, even brand new. Most sellers are honest and will work with you if there are any problems. I like that I can sort and filter my searches to easily find what I'm looking for. I like that there's a "best offer" option in some listings, and "buy it now" so I don't have to wait and hassle with auctions where I might miss out or have to wait longer to get my item.

It was pretty easy to use and was safe and secure and I could find what I was looking for with no problem. I like the layout and the search function is good and being able to easily locate products that you don't have to auction. It's also easy to find buy now options and not have to bid. I'd gladly use eBay again in the future when I need to shop for something online and can have it delivered.

There are a lot of items available which makes the eBay site useful to a lot of people. Sometimes I find things there and nowhere else. I found items for my brush beater on the site and found parts for an old piece of machinery. On the other hand, it's hard to find what I was looking for and somewhat of pain to find things. The search boxes need some help as it is hard to narrow things down sometimes. Also, the searches are too broad sometimes and eBay should provide more options for paying for your purchases.

Product selection was good for the item I was looking for. If you need things that are no longer made it is great to use them finding obscure items I can’t get anywhere else. I like to buy old computer and stereo hardware from eBay. Sometimes it’s not easy to find what you are looking for, also bad sellers cause a lot of problem and clog listing with crap I am not looking for. I have had problems with some sellers and buyers on eBay and it has cost me.

eBay had a bigger selection of the Horror books from the 80's and movies that I like. I can find hard to find items or a lot of books that may be out of print or no longer available in bookstores. Nothing beats finding that book you need to complete a collection and getting a good deal. The shipping is fast and I received a lot of my items quicker than expected. I prefer to find buy now items. I find the bidding tense and sometimes it can be frustrating trying to win the bid, but love it when I win or find that one book I searched everywhere for. It can also get expensive fast depending on how high you can feasibly bid.

Easy to pay for what you want. Can bid on products which can be a really good value. Guarantee your purchase. Pictures of your items you want to buy. Let's you know if it's new or used. I like the speedy checkout with PayPal. But one thing I dislike on eBay is the shipping on some items is overpriced. Would like more free shipping or at least reasonable shipping which is better for the consumer.

The experience was pretty easy and personal but it is always hard to tell whether the purchase is going to be legit or not. I don’t like that there are a lot of scammers on their website. I don’t think they should allow any kind of scams like that. But I like that everything is cheap and that you can find just about anything you need even if it’s odd.

I look into E-Bay first and like using it with a lot of their services, but I don't like the bidding aspect of it, due to you can't see what the price is until you overdo your price. I also like the fact that I can pay different shipping unlike Amazon, where they charge a certain price for shipping and it's usually quite expensive on the smallest things. Buy It Now features help when there is something you really want and don't want to wait until the auction closes. I like that they take PayPal and monitor their sellers. They give the options for returning merchandise if there is a problem, which gives you a good feeling especially if buying clothing and not sure of the size or colors. Everything about eBay and their buying process whether it was an auction or a Buy It Now was very satisfying.

You can find things that you can't find anywhere else. I've had very good luck receiving the things I ordered and reasonable prices. I got the item I wanted and I was happy with the quality, delivery time, etc. It worked out to be just like buying from a regular store. The product was brand new and the price was less than other sites. If you can't find what you want today, you can always check back another time and look again. But you are never really sure who you are dealing with so there is always the slight chance that you won't get the merchandise or it won't be exactly what you are expecting. It is somewhat risky.

I like all the variety of purchasable items to browse through. I especially like looking at the wedding dresses there are so many and so pretty. My husband purchased my purse for me on eBay using his PayPal account. The purse arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Sadly it wasn't as good a quality as I was expecting. I like that they have auction and set price buying options. I also like seeing what certain items are selling for it is very interesting.

The product selection was great! It was very easy to search and find exactly what I was looking for. Not to mention that they offered many different options and variations for each product. I like eBay.com's auctions especially if you're a seller. You are guaranteed to get the most out of everything you put up for sale plus more. However, they are very overpriced on a lot of items. Not to mention that when buying from an auction, people wait until the very last second to bid and not give you a chance to counter-offer which usually results in getting screwed out of a product you really want.

My experience was very good. I accessed the website, searched for what I wanted and made the purchase. The first time I used eBay, 3 of the 4 items purchased were more expensive at Walmart. However, the 4th item was $7 more than the exact same item at Walmart. That item was a special WHEY PROTEIN POWDER. I initially ordered monthly from eBay, by now, every 2 months. Other sites are getting my business. I love eBay's selection, but I get pissed off about the shipping costs, especially when initially getting items. I think eBay is on the way out. It served a great need in the beginning BUT THE LUSTER HAS WORN OFF. The quality of the auctioned material as well as other items is deteriorating, in my opinion. The prices are not as good as in the past. Typical bait and switch - they get you in the door with low prices and when you are hooked, they raise the prices.

The products I have purchased have been fine. I would definitely use eBay again for stuff I want. But they make me choose passwords I cannot remember. I want the same passwords to work on all sites I have.

I like the competition that leads to bringing down prices and making the best website to find the lowest price on products when shopping. Also like the recommended products. Also gives you choice of possible alternative products. But there is a lack of buyer reviews and an issue of fraud protection when dealing with the website as a seller. Also, the quality of merchandise offered is watered down due to an overwhelming amount of Chinese products.

Ebay is a site where anyone can list anything so there usually isn't any trouble finding anything. Some things can be pricey when the bidding gets too high, however. However, it is also set up to allow sellers to set any price they want and it has no way to show the more reasonable prices rather than sifting through so many different prices. I also do not like how people can put too big of a price or price gouge. I almost always find the same product or better at a much cheaper price.

However, searches turn up many items that are irrelevant to the items you are searching for. There are a large number of sellers offering the same item with a wide range of prices. You have to read the product description very carefully. Also, if you don't like your purchase you have to pay to ship it back to the seller. But I'm very satisfied with this site.

I have shopped there in the past also and they ship your items fast and safely. The main thing that I liked about eBay.com was how inexpensive their items are and how easy it is to understand everything. I found eBay really easy to use. The main page was easy to navigate, the checkout page is easy to use and protected by PayPal which puts me at ease that my money won't go awol. There is also a lot of variety and a lot of deals whether the items are new or used. On the other hand, the second hand can be expensive depending on the seller. I also hate how long it can take to resolve issues and it can be a real pain! I feel like it could really do with some resolving with buyer/seller disputes.

I purchased makeup and it was easy as it was a Buy It Now and I got a good deal. I have also purchased other things on eBay.com and like the site a lot. There is always a variety of items on it to choose from. It is very secure. I always feel safe when shopping on eBay.com and find most of the sellers very reputable. I also sell on eBay and have been doing that for years. I find that items don't sell as quickly as they did a number of years ago but it's a sign of the times.

PayPal is a good source to use. It offers protection and does not share your financial information with anybody else, makes it very desirable for me to do business. You can refine any search, by size, color, shipping, and many more options. I also like the buy it now category, so you don't have to bid on an auction if you don't want. Every once in a while I will try to find something that is hard to find, and there will be limited or none to find. This can be frustrating when you really want to buy something. I am then forced to look to another site.

My overall experience with using eBay has been good, for the most part. I like the large selection of items and the prices are fair, overall. I also like when someone offers free shipping and when the items arrives in a couple of days. Typically, I prefer dealing with actual companies, as opposed to individuals. For example, when I bought black pants from an individual, they were blue, not black. I dislike it when someone isn't totally honest about an item they are selling.

I like a lot of things about eBay like no taxes and it's convenient. I can order products online and they're cheaper than it would cost me in store. It also ships straight to my house without any problems at all. It's good as always but sometimes you get the items in and they are not what they are supposed to be.

I was looking for toner for my printer because it costs too much at Staples. There were many different sellers at eBay. Some are quite expensive and some are reasonable. I put in a few bids before I was successful. I have bought a couple of toners for my printers this way and am very satisfied with the purchased. There are a wide varieties of goods on eBay. I have bought watches, toner for printers, clothes, some home decorations items for my home and are very pleased with them. There was once an item wasn't as it advertised and I was able to contact the seller to get the refund. I have never have any problem with any of my purchase. However, there are so many things listed that I sometimes have difficulties finding exactly what I want right a way. Sometimes it takes a lot more time than I expected.

There is evident documentation that eBay support fraudulent transactions if the Seller can prove a fraudulent transaction. eBay in any case charge the Seller with the value plus shipping, even if the Buyer evidently returns a false item. eBay without any concerns or considerations to resolve proven evidence of a fraudulence transaction. With other words, eBay sponsors a Money Back Guarantee regardless whether the item is as posted or not. Even if the Buyer does not like the item in question for any way, or tampering with it and then makes a fraudulent fake claim, eBay does not respect any evidence otherwise. The Seller does not have any recourse and eBay charges the Seller anyway for even clearly proven fraud.

Never purchase any item from eBay. The courier service they use is Indian post, which is worst in delivering any product. They does not give any email or contact the buyer. This I have experienced in the recent past. It is shown delivered but I have not received the product yet. Even if you have to return there is a problem. For services like Flipkart and Amazon, just click on the return tab and the delivery men comes and takes and fast refund. Which is much better way of dealing to have a courier service of own.

My overall experience with buying and selling on eBay was good. I bought items that I needed and sold some items that I no longer had any use for. I like that the items for sale are presented by category and you can search specific categories for things you need or items you can use to compare prices for your auctions. But I disliked that some accounts are disqualified just because one was used as a reference for another account that was later banned from selling on eBay.

eBay is very convenient and it was a cheaper alternative to buying new products, similar to an online garage sale. It's easy to use the eBay search engine to browse the products I'm interested in. I like the wide variety of products available and I like that sometimes I can find a great deal. But I did really have to browse to make sure I was getting a good deal. The auctions can be fun to bid on, especially if you have time to bid at the last minute, and outbid someone else! It makes the buying experience exciting. Also, payment is easy and very secure via PayPal.

Good experience and I am fully satisfied with the product and product of our choice can be easily available. Delivery on time, email service and easy to search the product of our choice. The quality was perfect and the product reached to my expectations. The customer service is good and satisfied. I did not face any problems on return policy. But customers will be attracted when there will be festive offers and any occasional offers.

I've never had any major problems with eBay and is the first place I go when I want to shop on the internet. They have a wide selection of items. You can find almost anything on eBay, and it's helped me save a lot of money while finding useful but somewhat off-the-wall items. Digging through item listings is a fun time killer, too. Also, on the few occasions where I had an issue with a seller, it was promptly handled without much fuss. However, if you're not careful when you use eBay, you could potentially get scammed and end up in big trouble. You have to watch out for sellers trying to con you.

Most of the time I can find what I want at a good price on eBay. The prices are better than AMAZON. With some research, I can usually find what I want. It will be backed up by eBay and PayPal's guarantee, for safety. Ebay also does searches for you and sends alerts when new items you have searched come in. They also have a good payment systems. But I don’t like the limits on what you can buy with their gift cards. Sometimes I also have trouble getting questions answered in FAQS areas and I can't pinpoint the items I want without getting a lot of other junk in the search.

I like to buy on eBay. It is simple and easy to use and being able to sell and make purchases in one location is perfect. I can find older items, items that are not available in everyday stores and collector's items. I also like the quick payment via PayPal. Also, searching is easy and the idea of an auction for a deal is nice. However, I dislike that there are websites that actually tell someone how to get items for free on eBay by scamming. As a buyer I feel safe, as a seller I worry all the time. I do wish they would protect sellers more. But every issue I have had with a purchase I was able to work out with the buyer.

All of the purchases I have made on eBay this far were easy and the customer support was great. I had to contact customer service and the response was professional and quick. I like the convenience of shopping and competitive prices. The layout of the site is straightforward and easy to navigate. The selection of products is vast and I like the fact you can also sell the things you no longer use. I will make purchases on eBay again.

eBay feedback policy does not require a buyer to contact the resolution center or the seller prior to leaving a negative feedback. (example) Buyer does not receive item so he leaves negative feedback without ever letting the seller know there is a problem... Or buyer requests to cancel his order (prior to shipment) then leaves negative feedback because you do so... Sellers like myself who do a large volume business rely on feedback to be honest and fair as your feedback score impacts your sales. eBay, however does nothing to protect the seller from bad buyers. WHY IS A BUYER NOT REQUIRED TO CONTACT THE SELLER OR RESOLUTION CENTER PRIOR TO LEAVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK... REQUIRED, not suggested. As a seller I expect some measure of fairness from eBay.

Ebay is easy to use, reliable and most of the time they stand behind their purchases. Most vendors are responsible and courteous although some overstate the quality of the sale items and distort the quality with false claims. Also, there are a lot of bad vendors, bad buyers and too many hoops to jump through to fix a problem almost to the point of dislike. It seems like one problem leads to many more and they jack you around a lot. Overall it was a good experience except that I had to wait a long time to receive my order and in one case I never did receive it. It also took way too long to get my money back and the credit to come through to my account.

I love using eBay because I primarily use it for buying used books and used video games (both of which are offered on eBay for lower prices than I would find them on more mainstream sites that are specifically tailored to those products). When I'm looking for a certain book or game, I can easily find it on eBay at cheap prices, with varying conditions of quality (ex: very good, like new, brand new). I love being able to hunt for deals and bargains and I'm always able to find a good deal. But, sometimes when I buy books from certain sellers, there are hidden sales tax fees that only appear when the books are in the cart. As I usually buy used books on a strict budget, this has the unintended effect of distorting the amount of books that I'm willing to purchase.

Usually I shop for something that will save me money by using eBay or to find something I can't find in a store. Once you set up an account it is easy to buy something. I always find something I need on eBay whether it be an outdated item or something that I can currently get elsewhere. And there is always someone selling something that you can't find elsewhere. For example I needed more pieces to my flatware set and could not find it in any store. I even checked with the manufacturer and they did not have it. I found those pieces on eBay for a better price than a replacement company. On the other hand, I find that there are a lot of imitation products out there. You have to read the descriptions very carefully before purchasing. I also dislike that eBay used to be strictly auctions which made it fun. Now there are too many eBay stores.

I have experienced mostly good but some bad specific things with eBay. I like about them are the variety of items and the ease to make purchases. However, there are some bad cost and lack of privacy afforded on eBay. I also don’t like the excess cost of Buy It Now items.

I have done both buy it now and bidding with eBay. Bidding is too time-consuming because usually winner bids in last minute. Some buy it now items like gift cards cost more than face value. Who is buying and why? It's not always available in last minute. Also, there are some issues with selection. There's a better chance at seeing specific unusual and rare items. On the other hand, I like it that I usually find items not found elsewhere and for better prices but need to work at it. They have items like collectible ceramics not found elsewhere. In addition, shipping costs are fairly clear.

GREAT IF YOU ARE A BUYER, BAD FOR A SELLER. I have had both good and bad experiences buying on eBay and it depends on the seller. Some sellers are better than others while some are just terrible. I like that they are rated and that gives an idea of whether or not they are reliable. I also like the wide variety of items you can find on eBay and you can find really good deals. You can use support to help you if a sale went bad. Most of the time you will get your money back, it’s called buyer protection and also you can rate your experience. However, I was a seller on eBay and got ripped off by a few customers and now I can’t sell on there anymore. Also, if you are a seller on eBay, you have to pay quite high seller fees.

I find eBay amazing and even better than Amazon. It is a great website to buy from and I love it. Purchasing is so easy. They have great vendors too, and communication with sellers is good. If you do have a problem with a vendor, eBay customer service is always there to help you out. Also, many items have no shipping, and eBay always has low prices.

On the morning of April 13th, 2017, I put up an ad to sell an antique jade necklace in an antique box that was of Chinese royalty about 100 years ago. On eBay's own template ad it reads right up front: "No returns. No refunds." Within an hour of publishing ad, eBay emailed me to say: "It sold. It's been paid for. Ship now!" I checked my PayPal account and sure enough the funds were immediately transferred over to me. The next morning by about 10 AM I shipped it to the buyer "ferrari1006" and entered tracking number. At the same time (then unbeknownst to me), the buyer cancelled the sale, doing a charge-back... Leaving my account in a deficit... 3 days before they even received what they bought! Then they claimed it was not what the picture showed. I had included "to be nice" another "gift-bonus" necklace that needed some re-stringing since it was very old, and I stated that in the ad.

Several years ago I sold a used boat engine on eBay under a consignment account as a listed eBay reseller - the crooked buyer filed a "not as described" complaint and had UPS do a call tag to return it - it came back missing major parts and with damaged parts (swapped out by buyer). eBay immediately REFUNDED over $1,800 to the fraudulent buyer and demanded I reimburse THEM. No attempt was made to investigate the issue and no attention was paid to my 3,000+ positive feedback (100% positive) ratings. They later suspended my main business account (3+ years later), a business associate's account, my wife's account and my son's account - even though none of them were even involved. Total lack of customer service to sellers and far too much outsourcing to third world country customer service reps - going downhill faster each year.

Called eBay to get help with a purchase of a seller that I was having an issue with. They will not work with me regarding a defective purchase. Please do not buy from them. They are not willing to help the customer!!

I like using eBay for the different options of finding what you want at the price you want. You most generally can get free shipping and also use PayPal which is a secure site for your payment with protection in case of fraud on the other person's part. You can be refunded. eBay also has a 30-day credit program. However, I don't like selling my things on eBay and getting charged with multiple charges. By the time I sell my product I don't feel like I have made a very good profit.

There were several choices and price range for the product I eventually purchased on eBay.com. It was a very easy transaction and easy to communicate with the seller. I like being able to find several options and several price ranges for the products I intend to purchase. The option to search by quickest arrive to the option to buy it now is a great selling point. If the buy it now option is not available, the fact of 'playing games' to bid on an item sometimes becomes frustrating. At that point it's easier to purchase somewhere else than wait for another item to become available.

I bought a porcelain doll that I saw on eBay. The purchasing was so much more easier than I expected. Customer Service was great to work with. I like the customer service and the response time of getting item. But I dislike having to wait to see if you've won the bid and making sure everything is exactly like it is suppose to be and making sure that you won the bid and when it is going to be shipped. But you can keep in touch with the website to see if you've won the bid and what the item sold for. I would recommend.

It was good quick service, good turn around, easy to use and low fees. It can be used 24/7 at your own pace and has a variety of items. It's a good selling and buying online place. However, I don't like the fees and sometimes the buyer does not have good reviews. Also, the item is not always true to picture and the bids can be frustrating.

I was able to find exactly what I needed on eBay, at a cheap and reasonable cost. Sellers offer fast and free or reasonable shipping costs and I like supporting different varieties of sellers and businesses. I feel like I always get a deal because I can make offers on products or bid on things at a low price. Also some sellers have items listed at a low list price to start off with. I can always find something interesting. However, I don't like that buyers can leave negative feedback for things they perceive as "bad" when in reality it was good service. This causes sellers to not care as much about providing good customer service & might not offer free or reduced shipping.

I had very good experiences when I shopped on eBay. They have a very big selection of products and I can find exactly what I am looking for. Also, I can buy what I am looking for much less than they sell it for at other places. But sometimes, you need to bid and sometimes you don't get the product that you want.

Questionable diligence in appeals and refund process: I sold a newly refurbished Microsoft Surface Pro 3 on eBay stating there was a 90-day hardware warranty as stated at the store and listed on their support website. The buyer reported they did not believe the warranty was in effect and asked to return the device. I opened a support ticket with the Microsoft support desk and they verified the warranty was in effect for 90-days from replacement date, suggesting I communicate the ticket number to the buyer who could then call in and get confirmation. I sent the ticket number to buyer but never had a response.

The pricing is usually pretty favorable, but you have to set parameters. It was a little overwhelming because there are so many possibilities. It's a bit hard to narrow down what you're looking for because there are so many options. It should be formatted so that the home page is just a general search box. You have to have a firm idea of what you're looking for before you start looking, then it will be easier. But, I like the buy it now option so that I take care of my business then and there.

I like eBay because of the wide range of retailers - from major retailers to smaller eBay stores, to people selling whatever they had in their homes. You are almost always able to find what you are looking for. It makes shopping easy because you can do it from home, find things that haven't been sold in years, and they have so many 'buy it now' options that it really isn't an auction site anymore. I've used them multiple times over the last decade and they are evolving appropriately to keep up with the times. Convenient, nostalgic, exciting.

I've purchased a few things in the past from eBay and the products are relatively inexpensive. They tend to ship quickly, even if you buy stuff from China. Purchasing was easy and they have good customer service. I like the layout of their web page as well as their application. It is easy to use and understand. Also, I like the variety that eBay has. You can find almost anything on there. I like that it has different filters to search and different categories. However, I don't like that if you win a bid you have to buy it and you can't purchase anything else unless you pay for the item. It's annoying when you decide you don't want it but you end up having to get it anyways.

It was a brief, illuminating experience. I did it for a few years in the late 90s, but I stopped using it regularly by the early 00s. It was good for specific items that were not available in stores, like vintage or kitsch. I liked the range available at that time but over time, the range inflated with knockoffs so it is less fun than it used to be. More time was spent on the packaging of the virtual online store than the product, and the service suffered. Once the service suffered, products were weeded out, then proliferated, bringing down the variety of the range, which had been the biggest asset for eBay. I also dislike the exchange rate and shipping games, professionalized offers, fakes, bogus stores, con games, and bad photos.

Ebay has anything you want at the best price. I tend to avoid the buy it now items as they tend to be the most expensive. The best prices are with the auction if you can succeed bidding the best price, though I hate that a lot of people wait until the last minute to bid.

I liked that more than one person on eBay was selling the same item at different prices. Most of them offer good descriptions of the product along with photos. They list if they are new or used. Also, you find the same items to bid on or that you can buy now, and some offer free shipping and they tell you where it is being shipped from. There is a rating for the buyer to indicate how reliable they are. However, sometimes the person selling an item is asking a ridiculous price. I have ordered an item once that I was never sure that it was new though it advertised as new, but the package was slightly open enough that it could have been replaced with a used item.

Please, this is something terrible, but people do not read the charges that impose you when selling something. If in some way this would even their creators may feel sorry for them.

Here it goes again... extending from the previous issue I wrote about prior! The buyer instead of contacting me opened a dispute saying I did not refund his money. Well first Paypal took the money out of my credit card then they claimed my bank declined it! I know my limit and that's not the case. So I called my bank who said that Paypal themselves took it out of my credit card then reverse the charges and hit my bank account. It cleared on the 28th my checking account. It now May 18th and it's still on hold.

These people are so hostile and condescending, they actually blamed me for not researching enough into where the product was coming from and so therefore it was my fault I even ordered the product. Basically, I have been forced to buy something I tried to cancel within seconds of making the purchase that had NO SHIPPING DATE listed with the product until AFTER I hit purchase. I called EBAY IMMEDIATELY to have them help me cancel the order because I was going to be out of town for months 6-10 weeks off, which is when the information about shipping time popped up. Even if I were in town, it was too long to wait for a replacement cell phone.

While my experience shopping on eBay is very good, it often becomes overwhelming with so many things for sale. I get lost trying to find my way around the site. It is time consuming and labor intensive. My money is very tight and so it takes me a long time to find my item, search for the best buy, and decide. I lose my place and sometimes struggle to get back to my original page.

I have been selling online for about 3 years now. I have sold over $2,000 worth of items on other sites such as Amazon, Poshmark, etc. I recently tried eBay and was very very disappointed. As a seller I did not feel that eBay supported me. They have excellent support, service, and protection for their buyers but not their sellers. I sold multiple items for which the buyer returned, damaged, without tags, or ruined. eBay continued to charge me for these refunds. I have spent hours on the phone over the last month with representatives. They have done nothing for me and I will never use eBay again.

The first purchase I made a couple of months ago was my first time trying and buying on eBay and I'm probably going to stick with amazon.com because they're more reliable, sorry. The electronics that I bought wasn't the same that was pictured but the price was right. There's also a lot of cool items on eBay, some I need, most I want! The prices are awesome compared to any other web store, as well. I also like the free shipping, easy customer service and very easy to find exactly what you need or are looking for. However, most people selling items are not truthful. I also don't like that eBay customers can email you and ask questions. They should have other people's comments listed already under that item they want to know about.

It was a pretty good experience... I didn’t encounter any problems while placing my order. Also I was very happy with how safe the website was with financial details and I really hope eBay stays that way. It is easy to use and has good prices. My order was delivered on time. It’s a trusted website and I like it. eBay is good for designer items and products that are actually very expensive and you can get them for a much more affordable price in eBay. I do wish that I could get alerts when the prices get changed (increase or decrease, both). Other than that, I did not have any problems with it.

eBay has a wide variety of products. There is usually something unique to purchase, there is a variety of handmade items, and it is easy to purchase with PayPal. Shipping is usually quick, and I like the quick customer response if there is a problem. However, sometimes items are not exactly what they seem but it is too much trouble to return. Sometimes I get too much email regarding items I have on my watch list.

There was a lot of what I was looking for and a different color variety. I like how you can buy used or new. I also like how you can message the seller and how you can use PayPal. Paypal has always been amazing and it is very easy to work with. If the person with the item tries to say trick you out on the product you buy, PayPal will give your money back. However, some things are expensive. They could also sell fakes and say it is real and you spend all that money for something you think is real but it's really fake.

It was a good experience and the product was in good condition. Many items I have purchased have all been very good quality and what I paid for. I have been using them for many years now. I like that they have a wide range of products. You can find any single item that you want on eBay. They have many different things, ranging from toys, to electronics and so on. I enjoy them. And if I get a product that wasn't what I thought, I blame the seller, it is not eBay's doing.

It was easy to use. I found a large number of items that I liked and at varying prices. Also, I can easily find items that come from other countries at prices that I can afford. However, communication with the seller is difficult. It's even worse when the seller is from another country. Emailing back and forth is annoying. Even worse, when you can tell the seller is scamming you and you can't do anything about it.

Prices on eBay are competitive and often cheaper than anywhere else, only probably Walmart can beat them. Great website. However, items are not as described, customer service is nonchalant and getting refunds is almost impossible. They should be pickier on who they let sell. They need to step up to the plate and help customers more. But purchasing process is good and selection of products is great! I would certainly buy again and again.

I find it easy and helpful to use eBay to purchase certain things. Many things that you can't find on the internet you can actually find on eBay like discontinued items or parts for things I have that need fixing. If I am searching for something I like that I have a lot of choices and I don't have to bid. I like that I can use a buy it now feature. I also like that if I want something I can purchase it right away and not go through the bidding war with someone else. EBay's ok and I don't mind using it. I usually pay with PayPal so I feel like my purchases are secure. I would rather not use a credit card when dealing with random people.

My experience using eBay was pretty good. I really liked the interface and the program they are running over there. I like the prices, search tools and the community they are building over there. I also enjoy just shopping there and compare prices. EBay is pretty cool. Are they giving some money away to the community? Like charity. Hopefully, they are doing some good in the planet with all that money.

My overall experience with eBay has been good. Typically we can find the product we are looking for, for the price we are willing to pay. We have been on the buying end and also the selling end. It is harder as a seller because it seems everyone wants to negotiate your price down by 75% of what you were asking if you put the option "or offer" on your listing, which means the person is actually willing to negotiate to the price a bit. Or offer means give me a reasonable offer, not "This item is pretty much free and I will take whatever you will give me."

My experience with eBay was good. I found a mini truck for my father that was a father's day gift. The experience was mostly easy for my first time use. Luckily I didn't have to travel far to pick up the truck. EBay is set up very nicely, it is easy to get around and search for what you are looking for. There are thousands of items to choose from. The few times I have been on eBay I've always had success finding what I was looking for. However, I didn't like that I am not always a hundred percent sure that the item I have found is indeed the item that I am needing. Which is mostly my fault because I should do more research before ordering.

The entire process was an enjoyable experience. I was able to purchase and pay for my items with just a few clicks. The items were delivered promptly in secure packaging and were exactly as ordered. I like that I can find one-of-a-kind and rare collectibles that I can't find on any other shopping site. I also like that I can do searches on keywords and save those searches. I like having keyword searches sent to my email so I can see new items as soon as possible. But, I dislike the large number of advertising spam emails they send me. I would prefer to only get direct communication, search results, and direct messages like policy changes, but other than that I have had great experiences every time.

My order was placed and sent on time and the customer service was really great with no problems or issues at all. I like almost all the items they sell and I buy from eBay a few times a month for me and family along with friends and people. Anytime I have a issue, I like that customer service handles it right away.

Prices good, easy to purchase or bid, got merchandise when I expected it, had a good variety of merchandise to choose from, got messages when I was no longer the winning bidder. I like the absentee bidding process, merchants are rated - so I can choose whether to purchase with them or not. When I missed being the winning bidder by $1 - the merchant allowed me to buy the merchandise, got the merchandise in a timely manner. Right before the end of bidding, everybody bid and the price shot up astronomically; couldn't watch the bidding to the bitter end, so I didn't get the one item I wanted; decided to go elsewhere next time I wanted this type of merchandise.

It was a rather wonderful experience shopping on eBay for things. I shopped around for some video games for my Xbox one and really enjoyed it. I found quite a few different choices and ultimately chose to buy whatever I could afford. The ability to use Pay after Delivery on ebay.com using PayPal really helps when you don't have the right amount of funds to properly purchase the items you are interested in. I like everything about ebay.com and shopping online in general.

eBay is generally my go-to website to purchase online. I have had a few bad experiences with sellers, but eBay makes the process of getting your money refunded very easy if you don't receive what is described. I actually prefer using eBay to make my purchases because of this feature. It gives you peace of mind when making online purchases. One specific thing I like about eBay is the option to bid or purchase the item right away. When I am needing something right away, I simply filter out the auctions. If I have time to wait, I can hopefully hit the jackpot by bidding and winning my item for much less than retail value. However, I couldn't figure out how to use my eBay bucks for the longest time and that was frustrating. But when I finally did figure it out, I had racked up over fifteen dollars and got my item almost free!

eBay has massive variety of products to filter through. But once I figured out how to fiddle things down and just watch the items that I specifically wanted, it was overall quite nice. I like the variety and seller/buyer reviews to help find the right item. It is hard to get directly to a specific item you want to bid on, due to massive amount of items available and sometimes the responsiveness of selecting the bid and amount are sluggish.

I was so satisfied with the purchase and I always find everything I'm looking for. They have excellent promotions and a great variety of items and prices. Their services are excellent, fast and very valuables. But sometimes the specifications of the items are not so clear, and they become confusing. The needed specification that each customer must know about some products are not complete. However, they have a great support service, they always answer me anything and any question I have.

I am a new user of the website eBay and I find eBay to be very reliable and convenient. It's a good way to find things cheap when you can't find that product anywhere else. Plus online shopping is an easy and convenient experience altogether. It was a good experience. I started using eBay recently and have found all sorts of good deals that sometimes you cant find anywhere else. I am constantly on the website checking for new deals. I ordered an item from the website and received the package in the mail sooner than the delivery date given to me.

It was a very easy process. I have purchased automotive parts, jewelry, clothes, shoes, etc. State what I was looking for, free shipping request and everything was called up to review. I like that I can find hard to locate items around the world, can put in watch list and can use PayPal and the accumulation of points that you can use for future purchases. At the present time I have not come across anything I do not like. I can use my debit card, PayPal account and most sellers accept these types of payments. If product is damaged it is easy to make a request for credit.

One of the best things about eBay is the wide variety of items you can look for as well as a wide range of prices. It has everything you could want when searching for a product. I like the easy search tool. Was able to easily locate what I wanted to buy as well as the easy way to check if it's a good seller or not. However, don't like the color of the webpage and wish it was quicker with the bid times. Not a fan of the bidding as you never know who may be bidding against you.

For the most part eBay was really good, only had one problem with one seller and customer service took a very long time to reply back to me. But overall product selection and purchasing process was great. What I like about eBay.com is that you can find any and everything that you are looking for. Whether it be new or used I'm pretty sure you'll find it. What I dislike like about eBay.com is that you cannot trust everyone on there. They have your money and I sit and hope that I get my item and they are not a scam.

I like the variety, being able to find so many different things at so many different prices. Unlike an actual store where your choices might be limited. I always found what I was looking for, and often they had the best price. I also like that I can find used things on eBay, which saves money. Or even if they are new, I can often find a seller who is not so expensive.

I like that eBay.com allows you to sort different sizes, materials, and styles. But some of the vendors are not, in fact, as they appear, and there are many fake items distributed on the website. You are also bidding for an item so you have to make sure you follow it if there is something you really want to purchase and keep yourself in check as the price is driven up. I have also heard a lot of negative stories about people not receiving the correct item off eBay.com, but it seems that if you do your research it shouldn't be an issue. It also shows whether or not a vendor seems trustworthy.

I like the option to buy it now and lots have free shipping. Not to mention you can find everything you want on eBay. I have not once not found what I was looking for. Very easy to purchase and am usually very satisfied. I just watch who I am purchasing from and make sure they are reputable companies and from the United States. You have to check the credentials of who you might be buying from as some will have a big amount for shipping and you're actually not getting a good deal.

There was a wide variety of product to select from, the purchasing process and customer service was excellent. I like the fast and easy bidding and ordering process that takes place on eBay, very easy shopping also. They had loads of items for sale on the site. I would order items from eBay again.

Love shopping with eBay. The best selection especially for hard to find items. I am able to review other sellers. Similarly, sellers can see that I am a reputable buyer. I like clothing items mainly. I like being able to find high end designer items (shoes, sunglasses, clothing items, etc.) available for prices way below the normal asking price. I would recommend them, their website, their app, etc. They send a lot of emails though which can be annoying.

Found what I wanted at a fair price. Item arrived promptly and as described. Shipping was fair. It's also easy to pay through PayPal without the seller needing your credit card number. There is a large variety of items available at a variety price. I also like you can search your history. It would be nice to remove duplicates from the same seller. I don't like when the seller inflates shipping cost.

eBay has the widest variety of items I have ever seen. There is nothing you cannot find there. I like the different ways you can order something...like bidding or buying it now, etc. If you're not in a hurry to receive your order, then go with the bidding. If you need it sooner, you can order using Buy it Now. However, I dislike the wait times of the auctions sometimes. I also hate waiting for my package to arrive. Nevertheless, eBay is the store I run to when I need something. I cannot wait to order something again. I would recommend shopping on eBay to anyone.

Purchasing a product on eBay is fairly simple if you know how to check for shipping charges, pricing, and customer reviews of the seller. I like how simple it is to search for products. You can even search for items which have been sold in the past so you can see how much you really should be paying for a particular item. As far as customer service there is really none that I can see. You have to search for help on their site and then try and find the same question someone might have asked before without any good results. I had an issue one time but had to go through the seller without good results.

There were some things I enjoyed buying but I heavily dislike the bidding. There are times where I just want to buy the item outright, but when the seller doesn't have that option, I'm once again stuck not able to get the specific item I want. I really like the convenience the website has with getting a variety of items, though. And I like a lot of vintage items that contribute to my aesthetic in some way, so being able to obtain some of those items are always a plus for me. But I dislike the expenses of said vintage products.

There are many sellers with the same items so there is a variety of prices and many times the shipping is free even though sometimes the items are coming all the way from China so it takes a long time to receive things. Also, sometimes there are bad sellers although I have never had an issue. Very smooth experience. Plus, I can always find what I am looking for for a very cheap price.

It was very easy to use eBay. Because it is simple to navigate through the website and is online, I am able to find the products that I want almost always. And since products most often start with an action, the customers are essentially bidding on the price that they desire to pay for the item or items, which is very convenient. However, there is a chance that another person will outbid your item and therefore it will be sold to them. Plus, since many items on eBay.com are sold by others, there is no guarantee that the product is of the quality that the seller claims it to be.

It's easy to purchase and you can get a wide variety of things you can't get elsewhere. It's easy to tell if someone is a reliable seller based on their feedback so that's helpful too. I like that you can shop from so many places with unique products. Plus you can buy new or used depending on what your preference is. But mainly from a selling perspective, there are things I don't like. It's expensive and the fees charged (especially charging a percent on postage) to me are really outrageous.

I was very happy with the vast amount of items in every list that I was searching thru, and found just what I was looking for in a short period of time. The seller was very prompt in shipping the item to me and it arrived in great shape with no shipping damages! I like the comfort of looking thru listings whenever I like, and to find all the variety of items, from all over the world, with most sellers being very honest, and eBay usually protects the buyer fully with PayPal payments. However, as a seller you have to use PayPal for all transactions from potential buyers. I do not want to pay more of my final payment than I have to, and having to use PayPal is an extra fee, on top of eBay's fees. Too much goes out of my pocket in this manner!

My experience was all right. It has been convenient. Searching for the products I was interested in was simple, as was paying for them, and thus far, I've always received my products promptly. eBay sometimes allows me to find discontinued products that would otherwise be unavailable. Also, the fact that there are often multiple sellers offering the same item makes it possible find competitive prices. EBay truly is the world's greatest market. I like it a lot, easy to search and find the best price. I like being able to buy things from faraway to get a significantly cheaper price. One click checkout. I also like how I can easy do this and how my PayPal information is saved so all I have to do is check to make sure my billing and shipping addresses are accurate. But sometimes sellers aren't explicit about the goods they're selling.

More often than not I am extremely satisfied with the overall experience. There is a large selection of products and they have done an excellent job ensuring that their website is easy to use. And the customer service matters have always been quickly resolved.

I also like that anybody can sell their used "junk" and quite possibly make some good money off of it rather than throw it out or donate it. However, I don't like that the security is not 100% guaranteed. For instance, you can purchase an item and pay and then never receive the product and lose your money.

One can choose to bid on items at a selected price or can select Buy It Now if one is in a rush to get the item. This site is a good way to find some needed items at decent prices. Sometimes one can find some hard to find items. Can look for multitude of stuff without needing to go to a specialty store. However, there can sometimes be too much junk from the same seller either in the same name or various aliases that cannot be filtered out. This interferes with the ability to find the exact item or the item at the right price. There should either be a way to delete all items from specific sellers or a way to sort out the junk postings.

Overall, I have had a good experience using eBay. I have only had one experience where the product was not as expected. However, after contacting customer service, the issue was resolved in a timely matter and my money was refunded. I like that I can find things that are hard to find anywhere else. I like that I can use gift cards to shop at eBay, and they have a guarantee. I also like that if I can't find something right away, if I come back later, I may be able to find it. But, I don't always like the bidding process. Sometimes I want to buy things outright. While this option is available for many items, it's not for all of them.

However, it entails you trusting your money to strangers and you can easily lose money and get ripped off. I ended up not receiving the items I paid for. I filed a claim but it wasn't resolved. The process is too difficult and easy for them to give up and not help you. I lost my money and will probably not buy from this store again.
