Whenever any detail is left out beware. In dealing with eBay nothing - NOTHING - can be taken for granted as a given. Cheap product with free shipping more expensive to return. I'm out some $30+ and junk still arriving after waiting months. Size, measurements - stick with US sellers whenever possible or risk throwing money down the toilet. Feel bad for their ruined environment. But shady tactics deserve punishment. 1mm cord arrived was .5mm 'beads' arrived looking like balls with tiny holes only mere sewing thread can pass through. Packaged so tight, no regard for quality & upon complaint barely acknowledgment of carelessness. If you get a decent China supplier stick with them. I'm done. I'd rather pay more.

Seller stated that Apple iPod she was selling was in excellent condition. When I received it, it would not hold a charge. When contacted, she stated that they test all their iPods & that they held charges. Funny how shipping it through the post would make the Apple NOT work. When checking closely, I found it a fake! I contacted eBay (eBay connected me to India) but they sided with the seller. EBAY IS SELLING COUNTERFEIT APPLE PRODUCT GOODS!!! I'll NOT buy from eBay again, nor should you!!! Amazon will back their products. Ebay is a scam trading company. "CAVEAT EMPTOR."

In May this year, I ordered 2 smartphones from a company called excelvandirect on eBay, but I never received the phones. When I contacted excelvandirect, they replied that they had sent the phones via royal mail tracked services. So I called Royal Mail about the delivery, they confirmed that the item had been delivered. It turned out that the seller excelvandirect did not write the full address that I gave on the label, so my order was delivered to someone else.

I contacted the seller, they said the order was delivered and confirmed that the address wasn't the full address given on the order. The seller would not offer any compensation for their mistake. I contacted eBay customer service, they said the order was delivered, and there was nothing they could do. I was not impressed with the customer service, and insisted that they needed to contact the seller. After a very long conversation, the lady reluctantly agreed to write an email to the seller.

Cut the long story short, eBay closed the case and eBay's Money Back Guarantee Scheme doesn't cover my case as the goods were delivered, but they never looked into the reason why I did not receive my order. They asked me to speak to the seller direct, but they won't speak to the seller on my behalf. I feel that eBay customer service favours the sellers over the buyers, as they charge a fee to the sellers after a product is sold, but they don't think that without the buyer's, nothing will get sold! I feel that my case had been handled by eBay unfairly.

The responses from eBay customer service appeared generic and not specifically written to deal with individual cases and one of the responses had many spelling mistakes! That does show their careless attitude towards their work. I am a consumer and paid for the goods that I ordered, but I did not receive my order, I should be protected by eBay. I do not feel eBay treats sellers and buyers equally. EBay should handle the case based on the fact that the seller did not follow the buyer's instruction, therefore it resulted in the goods gone missing. I bought other items on eBay with the same address and they have all been received except the order in question.

SO... my issue started when a buyer bought an item, ruined it and sent it back as damaged not as described, even though my listing clearly states that the buyer pays the shipping. The buyer goes ahead, opens up a case, ebay rules in this buyer's favor! I get that a buyer is important and that "consumers are always right" or so they say but seriously, who is watching out for the sellers on Ebay?

They go ahead and refund the buyer, from my bank account, remove the money from my Paypal account and keep both refunds! I have called ebay and paypal, had a conference and they keep saying the same thing, we only refunded ourselves once, so how come my paypal money is missing! Beware of ebay, this is the second time they are doing this they refund the buyer and keep money for themselves too.

I am very disappointed as I have been asking for a refund for a month and they the send an email stating that they stand by their decision that they will favor the buyer, that is okay, but for a double refund? Why? Both amounts show that they cleared to Ebay INC. Beware, look at your refunds and check both paypal and your account if it is linked to paypal! I am highly disappointed by the way this issue has been handled.

In the past, years ago, I was both a seller and a buyer on eBay with no issues. Recently I heard they treat their sellers like crap and rip them off every chance they can. Sadly I learned recently this is true. Not only did they allow a no returned item to be returned, they charged me for shipping to the person, back from the person, and then charged me sellers fees. So in total, they stole over $30.00 from me. eBay is an amazing site if you want to buy something but if you want to sell something and are not a store, avoid them and use the new apps or even craigslist.

(First of all please excuse my grammar/English.) This is the first time I wrote a review, and when I had an issue with the company I just simply bite my tongue and move along, but not this time. I was a eBay seller for 8 years, had 600+ positive reviews and selling almost the same item on eBay. Recently eBay removed my multiple listing and accusing me I'm selling fake item. I talk to eBay rep. I explained that I never had any issue before and even customers are happy with my products. They still insist that I'm selling prohibited product.

I ask how could they sure that I'm selling a fake brand if the item itself came from the original manufacturer and I have a complete receipt (online and store receipt). Their explanation doesn't make sense at all and they can't help me. I said "can I relist now my item with an original receipt attached?" They told me NO...not at all. Then they suggest next time when I list my other item I make sure I also include the receipt. I agree but I told them I'm going to cover the amount...then they said no again, the CSR told me to not to edit or hide it all. I never heard that policy before nor I couldn't believe that I'm talking to normal person. This sad incident force me to not to sell at eBay anymore and will find an alternate to sell my products.

Last month I had to deal with eBay blocking my account because someone had apparently tried to use it without authorization. While dealing with it, I saw that the person who tried to steal the account had changed my email and a few other things. While on the phone with eBay's customer service, we went through and changed all of the information. I updated my personal information, we changed the password, and I supposedly was good to go. I didn't log in again because I don't shop there every day - until today. I tried to use my account but it's blocked again.

I called their third world customer service only to learn that there had only been ONE breath of the account and my information had never been changed, updated, anything. I verified my address, had to correct the woman on what my name was, and gave them all of my email addresses I use that should have been on the account. And then it came to my phone number. The number in the account is not a number I've ever owned. Ever. Because it wasn't the same number she supposedly couldn't verify my identity. I've so had it with eBay's sloppy crap - that they couldn't even handle it when my account was breached the first time and actually put the responsibility in MY lap after I'd handled it and had the nerve to say it was never handled in the first place. eBay lost me as a customer. With their terrible security and crappy business practices, how long until someone uses them to clear my bank account? No. Just. No.

Purchased a Macbook air on eBay. Seller sold as USED, Not for PARTS. Received item and did not start or boot up completely. Contacted seller immediately and eBay Advised them of the situation. I suggested I take it to Apple and they approved. In fact the seller wished me luck and told me to let him know if there was anything else he could do to let him know. The eBay rep never advised me not to do so. They performed a diagnostic. The unit was determined to be a dead unit. Sent a copy of the report to eBay and seller. Remember Seller approved me taking unit to Apple. The seller refused to refund or to take a return. EBay denied refund because I took it to Apple. I called to appeal. Was told the decision was final.

I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told only one working (Saturday) and they would have to call me back with 24 hrs. Received a call back from another sales rep, not a supervisor. Was advised again that the decision was final (too bad so sad). I mentioned that the eBay Rep should of advised me that by taking it to Apple I voided the eBay buyer protection plan. I made it clear to the Appeal Rep that the Rep did not do her job. She then said they will talk to her to make sure she does not make that mistake again.

I never heard from the vendor and never saw my screen. I had paid over $70 for the part. I asked eBay to help. That was a joke. I only communicated with a computer. I was told to ask for a shipping label and send the product back. Several times I tried to explain that I did not have the product. I never did speak to a real person. I could not order a label since I did not have the product. I had been a pretty good eBay customer with no negative or neutral responses. I am no longer an eBay customer as they are going for volume. Please change these passwords as soon as possible. Once you've secured your personal email account and third-party listing tools, please change your eBay password: ..."

Upon contacting eBay by telephone to determine what had occurred in regard to my account, the agent repeated the statement to me that they had reason to believe the account had been used fraudulently and I needed to change my password. When I pressed them for details of what they had discovered regarding my account, and after being transferred to a second office and agent, the 2nd eBay agent admitted to me specifically that there had been no fraudulent activity on my account, but that their security program sends that message out to various accounts so that they can get the patrons to change their eBay password.

In short she admitted to me that eBay had lied to me (and I used that word and made that accusation to her) about the fraudulent activity on my account and had changed my password without prior contact to me and without my authorization so that they could force me to change my password - all in an effort to support their company's security desires. She also informed me that they would like all of their patrons to change their password every three to six months.

When I demanded that they reinstate my account password and allow me access to my account without having to change my password, she said they would not do that and that if I did not change my password I would no longer have access to my account. So, eBay lied to me about the fraudulent activity and locked me out of my account until they could force me to change my password. The result was that my snipe software was locked out of my account this date and I lost a very favorable purchase on eBay for an item that my attempted bid would have purchased, and that cost me at least $60.00 - $100.00 in price benefit should I now buy the item elsewhere. I have had an account continually with eBay since September, 2002, and I have a 523 red star status with a 100% positive review. This is the first time they have seen fit to treat me this way and it may well be the last time I deal with them. I hate being lied to.

My ordeal with eBay began on December 19 of 2014. On that date my eBay selling assistant vacated the residence that we shared. Unbeknownst to me, this person had been pilfering personal belongings from my children and I, some irreplaceable, for an unspecified period of time and had actually been selling personal items of apparel belonging to me while still residing in the house. In January of 2015 I discovered more of our property listed for sale on a selling page belonging to this individual. On January 3, 2015 I attempted to purchase one of the items stolen from me from this individual, only to have the sale cancelled. I immediately contacted eBay and was instructed to contact local law enforcement and file a report, which I did immediately. A police report was generated and submitted by the detective managing our case in February of 2015.

This report contained a detailed listing of stolen items that had been sold or were currently listed for sale on this selling page. I was informed by eBay representatives that it would take 7 to 10 days for the report to be processed and acknowledged. Weeks passed with no acknowledgment as I watched our personal belongings being sold to unsuspecting buyers all over the world with no response or action taken by eBay despite acknowledgment of receipt of the valid police report. I continued to contact eBay daily, distraught as I watched our personal belongings being sold on accounts belonging to this individual and that of his brother, one by one. It was not until the second week of March that I finally made contact with an representative named Lisa who acknowledged the active report, apologizing profusely for the lack of responsibility and action taken by eBay and worked with her supervisor to immediately suspend the account.

The "hitch" was that my account, which supplied 50% of my monthly income was affected as well due to the fact that this suspended seller and I had at one time shared a physical address and IP address. I again began contacting eBay daily in an attempt to rectify this problem. Despite the fact that my sales had literally plummeted to a trickle in the weeks following the suspension I received constant denial of any correlation between the two events until the last week of March 2015 when I spoke with an eBay rep who acknowledged the obvious correlation and also informed me that this individual had managed to maintain an active link between our accounts via personal information which was being used without my consent. I was confused as all of my information was new.

Bank account information, credit cards, email addresses etc. all had been changed due to the fact that this individual had also committed fraud on my bank accounts and they were closed per federal law. I also spoke with eBay Trust and Security that night. I was informed that this individual was using my IP address and computer ID number from a remote location! I have no working knowledge of internet identity theft, or how any of this is possible from a distance that minimally was 50 miles from my home but was assured that is possible and was in fact happening. I was advised by the T&S eBay rep to contact my internet service provider and request that my IP address be "broken". I did this immediately as well. For a few months it seemed as though my account and personal information were finally no longer being tampered or interfered with.

My sales returned to normal and life was moving along smoothly. The individual had been formally charged and arraigned on two counts of felony larceny in June of 2015, one of those charges directly involving the theft and subsequent sales of our personal belongings on eBay. In July of 2015 I noticed a sudden decline in sales once more, literally overnight. As it turns out eBay had reinstated the suspended selling account! I was in disbelief and contacted eBay many times regarding the reinstatement of an account directly involved and related to felony larceny charges and the fact that once again, I was obviously linked and being negatively impacted by activities of this unscrupulous individual.

It was at that time that an eBay representative informed me that I would need to clear my name again. Although I have documentation from the District Attorney's office that would provide a clear picture of perpetrator and victim I have never been allowed to provide eBay with this information. My once successful selling account declined steadily until it was no longer profitable for me to remain on eBay as an active seller. On October 29, 2016 with roughly $13 in total sales in the previous two weeks I removed any remaining listings from my selling account on eBay.

I am not angry, but can only shake my head in disbelief. In addition to the loss of my home, bank accounts, and personal items, many of which were part of a collection amassed over 30 yrs, I have also lost the business that I took great pride in and had worked diligently to build after coming home from work, and on weekends. Interestingly enough the individual who actually committed the crimes was inactive on eBay for a total of 6 days following the initial suspension and has continued to sell successfully using a number selling accounts with false names and addresses, and merchandise flowing between them freely.

When I received the lens it was almost separated in 2 parts, pretty much junk. It appears it had been dropped and the lens hood was not returned with the lens.

The rest of the matter was summed up by eBay and I copied and pasted the following: "I am contacting you about the Pentax HD D-FA 645 90mm f/2.8 AW ED Lens (eBay item# **) that you sold. I've reviewed your communication to us and I understand that you are saying the buyer has not returned the item in the same condition as you had sent it out in, but you have the item back and accepted the return. Situations like this are not common on eBay, but when they do come up it can result in loss. eBay PRACTICES ARE TOTALLY DISHONEST! Sellers are SYSTEMATICALLY penalized by eBay in case of conflict. This is the second time it happens (case ID #** and case ID#**). In both cases, eBay decided to settle for the buyer and left me, the seller, with no product back, and a direct withdrawal in my Paypal account. eBay systematically takes the party of the buyers. SO THIS IS MY BEST ADVISE TO THE BUYERS: buy whatever you want; when you receive the product, open a case, refuse to give information back to the seller, take your time (very important – 5 days minimum to avoid coming to an agreement with the seller) and you will win your case. You won't even have to send the product back to the seller. You won't have to prove anything AND you will be refunded.

EVEN THE FOLLOWING APPEAL WAS REJECTED (Aug. 22: You sent us an appeal. Comments: As the customer was refunded, I request that the item that was send to the customer is sent back to me as soon as possible. I needs to be sent back to me in the original condition it was received and I need pictures of the frame as it is right now before it will be shipped back to me. My account was shut down for no apparent reason other than "sorry it was a security risk". What does that even mean? Purchased items were not sent. I was restricted of even communicating with my sellers to discuss how I can receive my packages and when contacting eBay was greeted with the same disrespectful and condescending tone of "sorry we can't help you". I asked if I could at least contact my sellers to make sure I received my items since they had no tracking numbers and the operator told me literally that I had to just hope that it would arrive and that there was nothing he could do about it.

This is the worst business I've had the misfortune of trying to communicate with logically, especially their call center which they probably hire and underpay for pennies from the Philippines because all of them have a heavy Southeast Asian accent and it's quite apparent that English is not their first language. Service is horrible to non-existent. The archaic rules put into place which they hold as top secret and execute in secrecy at the costs of buyer and seller both, are basically a corporate tyranny on its users!

Since messaging on my account was crippled, I found a workaround to contact the sellers through complaints, which intended or not, worked. Every time I want to message them, I have to file an issue complaint. I don't know what happened a few days later after the sellers graciously offered me the option to send another item or refund, because all the items on my Purchased list has disappeared and it won't let me view them at all now!

So currently I can't even complaint-message them. If this was intentional, it would be a truly despicable move on their part, from the already offensive nature in which they operated without regard. You don't just take someone's money like that eBay. That's called robbery. Don't tell me to do this on PayPal because you two are separated now. I also purchased these items on your platform, and without reason of having my account shut down, I still expect to get my items or my money back through the same platform in which I offered my money to. So have some respect for your consumers and sellers both. We are not numbers, we are humans and treat us like so.

The difference that good customer service can make under a transparent system is that of what Amazon would be. I've already spent close to $10,000 on eBay but no longer. I would suggest everyone get off of eBay because this kind of thing can happen to anyone, not to mention the plethora of fake/counterfeit and copyright infringed goods that are pardoned to go on selling from China. It's possibly the most frustrating experience which was never expected. I guess we live and we learn. So I'd like my money back eBay, and I'll be on my way.

I contacted eBay and told them I believed the person was abusing the return policy and wanted to escalate the return. I was told that sellers can't escalate return request and if I felt it was a fraud all I can do is report the buyer. I won't receive any money back at best they can try to force him to return the laptop that he broke.

So not only did I lose the money I was returned a broken laptop. I asked to talk to a supervisor and was told that's all they can do. This is the second time I've dealt with a return, the first time it was damaged in shipping and USPS insurance covered it. eBay really doesn't care about its sellers and offers no protection against fraud. I've seen several videos and reports where buyers break and strip items then return and eBay does nothing to help the sellers. I pulled all my items because it's not safe to sell anything.

Think twice before shopping on eBay. They try to give lots of trouble to buyers to protect the fake product sellers. There are actually NO OPTION on the whole eBay site to complain about fake product bought, the closest one is request to return it because it looks like a fake one. Once mistakenly chosen, eBay will automatically open a return request for you, and say they will ask the seller to refund once the return tracking shows delivered. If the package is lost, eBay would tell buyer to claim refund for lost package instead, but in fact impossible because shipping counterfeits is illegal, then refund will never issued.

You actually need to call the Customer Support robots directly to file a complaint about getting a fake item. Even if you can do that, they give you only 5 DAYS to prove the item is fake. They will then give trouble to victims by accepting ONLY MANUFACTURER DOCUMENT PROOF, but they won't say it publicly. Objective differences from real one? NO. Spelling mistakes? NO. Wrong S/N, expiry date? NO. Document from manufacturer saying the item have something wrong? NO. Only document from manufacturer, saying directly "it is counterfeit", is accepted.

According to The Counterfeit Report, even if you can provide such a strict proof in strict time, the counterfeiting seller is just asked to refund only. No banning of accounts, no removal of counterfeit items, no legal actions taken. In addition to that, eBay would require buyers to destruct the item to get the refund, which would mean no more evidence to take further legal action.

No money refunded, no shirt received, and no recourse for me other than to tell them they lost me forever as a customer. It was the worst customer service experience I've ever had.

So the item continues to be "Unpaid"... Now for weeks. All attempts to contact eBay, correct information (all of which is correct) or get any action at all have failed. This has gone on now for almost a month. So I have to conclude that the Seller does not want to sell, and eBay doesn't care to sort out the problem. I think I'm through with eBay... Too bad.

On Sept 18th, I offered for sale my father's 900 card baseball card collection. I repeatedly stated I knew nothing about the cards and couldn't guarantee anything about the sale, which included a number of 1950's rookie cards. I had a buyer repeatedly email me asking me to sell to him and end the auction early, which I refused. He began to bully me stating that I “don’t have to let other bidders keep bidding, you can break the rules, I do it all the time." He bid the auction up to $638 and won the auction. With misgivings about this buyer, I boxed the cards up and mailed them. Within minutes (as shown by the shipping tracking) of this buyer receiving the cards he'd won, he filed with Ebay for a refund claiming 3 of the 900 cards he bought were fakes.

I responded showing the 9 emails we'd exchanged prior to the sale – including his bragging about breaking Ebay rules repeatedly, and referred repeatedly to the auction itself stating I could make no guarantees about the card collection. Ebay ruled, as they ALWAYS do in favor of the buyer, ignoring all of our prior exchanges. When I got the package back from the buyer, it was in my original box, but I noticed when the mailman handed it to me that it was lighter than it should be, at which point I began videoing my opening the box, and sure enough, the box was empty. The buyer had ripped me off. I called Ebay immediately and spoke to someone in the appeals department, who effectively said "Oh well. Learn a lesson and move on. We can't and won’t help you. We have no way to know what he sent you." I pointed out that I'd filmed myself opening the box and was told "That's meaningless to us."

In the meantime, Paypal took the money out of my bank account BEFORE the initial appeal had been even heard, causing me to have over $120 in overdraft fees, and forcing me to close my bank account to keep them from taking more money from my account. I called them as well to let them know what happened, and their response was - "Ebay told us to refund it, so we did." offering me no protection there either. In addition, they put a hold on my account until I paid them the $120 they said they couldn't collect (because they caused me the loss in overdraft fees) AND hindered my sale of further items that were currently in ending auctions. I canceled all active auctions – because I wasn't going to send out more items when I couldn't collect the money for them with the Paypal hold on my account, and Ebay and Paypal are charging me for that as well.

Worse, I'd had a separate credit line with Paypal that they've charged to its limit trying to collect from me there too, NOW with INTEREST! So I'm now not only out my father's collection, but the $638 it sold for, $120 in overdraft fee's and the $120 Paypal is saying I still owe THEM too, on top of interest payments garnered when Paypal switched the money they were trying to collect from me to the credit line I had. Ebay and Paypal are causing me the worst nightmare I've ever had. They should be ASHAMED and we that are getting ripped off by them all have ZERO recourse! If anyone can help, please contact me!

Well no wonder RJK Selections and others have such high ratings. They keep deleting all the negative feedback. I will never order from Ebay again. The courier tried to deliver the item and as there was no one home. I got a card in the mailbox. This particular courier service did not have a location for me to pick up the item anywhere close and also was only open during office hours. So I couldn't pick it up. They told me to contact the seller to get it delivered to a different address with someone there during the day. I did and the seller told me that would be another $30 for postage. I agreed and paid the money directly into their bank account. However, when I checked the tracking number about a week later the item had been returned to sender by the courier company. They had no info on file that any attempt had been made by the seller to change the address to the new one.

So I contact the seller and ask for a refund. They just keep giving me the same tracking number. I open a case. eBay says the seller showed it had been delivered. NO refund. I opened a complaint about the judgment and replied that it had been attempted to be delivered, I had paid extra to the seller for redelivery, and despite this it had subsequently been returned to sender by the courier company. This info is available on the courier site for the tracking number. All they need to do is check that. Apparently, proof that it has been returned to sender is not enough for eBay. No explanation, just that I still don't get a refund. I doubt they even bothered to check the tracking number. I have now had to open a complaint with the credit card I used in attempt to get a refund. I have totally lost faith in eBay after this complaint process. It is very clear they did virtually nothing to actually investigate.

First of all I bought a pipe. The pipe was returned by the Post Office with no reason. The Seller never contacted me. I would have been more than happy to pay the post. Instead they decided to sell what I had bought. This is known in legal circles as theft by conversion plain and simple. Ebay decides not to punish the seller but, not to allow me to buy from that seller.

Then recently I won a auction and the price was 21.55 with zero seconds and the green bar on top telling me I won that auction. I then went to pay for it and the price increased to 32.99. I called and they gave me a song and dance about last minute bidding which of course is idiocy since their own page had said that bidding was over and I had won. Ebay is equally dishonest with Sellers. They force them to pay for Postage in their "Global" postal system in which they rip both Seller and Buyer with a very healthy and tidy profit for having to use their system. Good news is that sooner or later they will epically fail since someone somewhere will come up with a new system that is fair.

On 10/03/16, I purchased several new Nintendo 3DS handheld video game consoles for resale. I subsequently listed on eBay and successfully sold most. I sold one on 10/08/16 to an eBay customer in Hawaii which shipped out on 10/11/16, we'll refer to this item as 7010. Item 7010 was delivered to the purchaser on 10/14/16 however, tracking through USPS did not update and the buyer opened a request for refund due to "item not received" on 10/15/16.

As 10/15/16 was a Saturday, I was able to open a complaint through USPS's 800 number but unable to speak to the local postman until 10/17/16 at which point, the local postman advised that he had delivered 7010 on 10/14/16 and went to the purchasers home to confront him. Purchaser was forced to admit that he had received 7010 and closed the request. He then, however, immediately opened a second request for refund advising the serial numbers on the box and console did not match and this was not what he ordered. He sent me photographs of two consoles side by side, these are the same console. The buyer states that he received 7017 from me rather than 7010.

I contacted Nintendo, manufacturer of both 7010 and 7017. Nintendo provided in writing, evidence that 7017 was not even purchased until 10/13/16, while 7010 was already in transit, making it impossible for the buyer to have received 7017 from me. I submitted this evidence to eBay and implored them to look at the entire exchange, taking into consideration the already shady behavior of reporting an item as "not received" when the buyer actually did have the item, and the fact that I had irrefutable evidence from the manufacturer of 7010 and 7017, showing that what the buyer is claiming is impossible before ruling to refund the buyer's money however, eBay has advised me that they cannot prove that the buyer is lying therefore, the claim is valid and they will be taking money from me.

Highly disappointed that being an honest seller gets me scammed and eBay helped someone do it because I will not receive the item that I paid for, the item on my receipt, the one of a higher quality than 7017. I will receive 7017, which is inferior, I will not be able to resell it, and I will lose all of the money that I paid for the purchase of 7010 with, along with the money that I paid for shipping, not to mention the time and effort that I had to put into research this and contacting the manufacturer. Where is the protection for the people who actually pay for eBay to be a company?

This is a warning for everyone. Do not buy authentic products from eBay because eBay is not reputable and you will have a very hard time getting your money refunded. I am out of 300.00. I had no idea these people were lying. The boots looked totally authentic. Even came with fake papers. Then they arrived with fake fur, missing fur and not the right material logos or anything close to a real Ugg boot. The purchase protection is a joke. You call eBay they say "call PayPal" and then you hear "call eBay, we can start a claim and it will be 10 days". No freaking way. You take the money immediately, you should refund immediately within 48 hrs. Max as a online shopper I suggest Groupon. They are legit. Do not shop with eBay for items you can't afford to gamble on because it's a total scam now. I'm so mad, frustrated and angry over the service I received.

Once I get my refund I'm never ever going to make the mistake of shopping off eBay again. It's like a garage sale for dumb azzes and I just happened to be one of them. After the seller scammed me out of my money he had nerve to tell me I had to be dumb to think I was going to purchase some real Uggs off eBay but at 167.00 for my pair and 155.50 for my daughter's. They just should have been real but I will tell you Uggs online legit, Nordstrom, legit and it was only 20.00 more not to be scammed with fake boots not worth 10.00. The brown boots are fake. Look at the bottoms and had nerve to send real papers with these boots. The black crocs are genuine Uggs off the website. Study the pictures of the differences in the boxes and Ugg symbols so you won't purchase and wear fake Uggs.

eBay guaranteed a selling price of $352 for my iPhone 6 which sold for $277. Under the terms of their guarantee I would receive a store credit for the difference between the guaranteed price and the sold price. They are refusing to honor this guarantee because they are arguing that my sale did not qualify for this guarantee. eBay had 7 days to notify me of this before the auction ended and they chose to not make any revisions to their guarantee or notify me that I would not qualify. I believe I was deceived into selling an item with eBay.

According to eBay the phone I sold was not described accurately, therefore disqualifying it from the promotion. I described the phone as being in "excellent" condition and noted all the marks that were to be found on the phone. eBay, unlike most sites, has no reference guide to establish what "excellent" or "good condition" means to them.

After the auction ended I was informed that in order for a used phone to be in "excellent" condition it can not have a single mark or scratch on it. My listing thoroughly described every mark on the phone (which were extremely minimal) and the description was accepted with the price guarantee. Only after the auction and I did not receive the credit did I take the action to find out why the price guarantee was not being honored. eBay made no attempt to inform me either during or after the auction that they found my description to not be considered accurate, despite having no reference for what an "excellent" condition phone description should contain.

After the auction ended I called eBay twice and they finally informed me that they retroactively voided the guarantee because the description was not accurate. Had eBay contacted me during the auction with this information I would have had the chance to cancel the auction and keep my phone. They made no attempt to contact me and I ended up selling my phone for a much lower price than I could have received from other sites. The actual buyer has made no complaints about the description of the phone being inaccurate.

Seller beware!!!! If you are hoping to make any kind of profit or at least break even, this is not the place. Do not sell high ticket items on eBay! By this I mean anything worth over $100. That's right. I said one hundred dollars. Ebay's selling charges are not cheap. You need to take this into account before you consider selling anything on this website. First, you need to find their selling charges page and then look at their tiered selling structure. Find what you think your item is worth. Finally, see if you can sell it somewhere else for less, especially after eBay has taken their cut.

Example: 1 OZ gold bar. Price per ounce on open market? $1250. Sell it on eBay for $1300. You think you made a $50 profit? Wrong! Ebay takes 10% off the top. That's $130 gone forever into eBay's pockets. Your net sale? $1170. You could have sold it to an online gold company for $20-$30 under spot. You lose! Can't imagine what or how that really hurts the seller when it comes to cars, boats, and jewelry. Good luck. I hope this helps.

Prior to the return request I had to beg the Buyer for 9 days to pay (on a buy it now purchase) and when they finally did pay they had never responded to any of the 3 emails (2 from me and one from eBay). I then notified them when their product shipped with tracking number attached as I said I would in the auction.

When they requested a return I explained that this was a "No Return Purchase" and had to wait to escalate for 6 more days. As soon (within 1 hour) as I escalated the complaint eBay sent me an email saying they had ruled in favor of the buyer and I would be responsible for paying return shipping, ALL Fees etc "as soon as they (eBay) received notification of delivery. Now I am not sure, but I normally receive a tracking number when something is being shipped to me, but not from eBay, they got it, but never shared it with me, oh they did offer to give it to me during the call, kind of a day late though. On October 3rd eBay then charged me all of the fees, shipping etc, but I still have not received my item back.

I called eBay and was told that they shipped it back to an address that we changed 4 years ago (not the address they used to verify the account when I called in, which was the same address that they had for ship to, and return address on original shipment which was also done thru eBay) and since it was still in my file I am out of luck. Obviously the conversation was much longer and more explicit than that, but needless to say I heard a lot of "eBay Policy states" etc. so the final outcome is I talked to 3 customer service reps, 2 supervisors and the final supervisor agrees that I was mistreated, eBay and its employees misrepresented Policy, and my item was shipped back to the wrong address, BUT eBay Policy would only allow her to refund me the $7.38 in seller's fees.

So all told I am out the $70.00 I sold the item for, the 7.00 PayPal charge me for accepting the money, the 12.50 for shipping the item, the whatever eBay decides to charge me for shipping the item back to the wrong address, and they are going to credit me $7.38 in fees they collected for me selling the item. Final outcome for selling a $70.00 item Seller loses 101.50 or thereabouts and has no product to resell. Awesome customer service job eBay. NEVER AGAIN. They have lost a 14 year customer over $70.00. Really smart business move.

I've used eBay gift cards to purchase coins for my coin collection for a couple of years now. It was a better deal than PayPal cash cards because eBay does not charge a fee for the card and PayPal cash cards cost 3.99 for the card itself before you load it. Was eBay losing huge sums of money from these transactions? Why did they change their policy? My coin collecting is just a hobby and a lot of the coins don't cost much so paying for the PayPal card cost of 3.99 can be a large percentage of the cost of the item. eBay card use for coins was great while it lasted, but now, for me, the restrictions are a colossal negative. I will now use whatever alternative to eBay that I can to buy my coins. I mean who made them the consumer police anyway. Their job is to run an Auction house. The other crap is up to the IRS.

We are Top Rated eBay sellers with approximately 1500 positive feedback ratings (100%) since we really turned our eBay account into a store just over a year ago. This is a family run side business that has done about 2500 transactions in the past year reselling clothing, games, electronics, collectibles, sporting goods etc. Store address is: **.

Concerning this item: **, a vintage Tommy Hilfiger Nautical Jacket, the buyer purchased on September 13, 2016, only to ask for a return a few weeks later. We do have a 30 day return policy, and as the buyer chose the reason: changed mind we were happy to grant him the return, minus our original shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee stated in the listing, and provided the item was shipped back to us. He shipped the item back at his cost, and it was unboxed on October 6th. The jacket was completely saturated with the smell of cigarette smoke and since we had never in any of our returns received an item back not in the condition as it was sent (fortunately), I didn't know what to do.

I called eBay within 5 minutes on unboxing, only to be told by a representative that my course of action was to contact the buyer and ask for him to send me a shipping label to return to him this now damaged jacket (implying the return would not be granted). I immediately messaged the buyer politely but firmly and received no response until I decided to ask eBay to step in on October 12th. I had unknowingly assumed that eBay would eventually close the return and refund the buyer anyway if I didn't take action, having now received the item, so this escalation was my attempt to have eBay step in and get some kind of response or acknowledgement out of the buyer that the item would not be refunded.

Less than 6 hours later, at 2:07AM EST on the morning of October 13th, 2016 (after eBay's stated business hours of 5AM-10PM PST), an email came in saying that eBay had found in favor of the buyer and not only had refunded him what he would have been given had the jacket been returned in the condition it was sent (which would have been approximately $80 reflecting a subtracting of my shipping cost and a 15% restocking fee) but that the full purchase amount of $107 and change had already been debited from my PayPal account and given back to the buyer.

I was shocked and horrified. When business hours opened I called eBay and twice spoke to their appeals department, once to a foreign office and once to a representative that was clearly American and located stateside. Ben, the stateside representative, and then Juleen (spelling?), his supervisor I eventually asked to be escalated to, proceeded to tell me that once a claim is escalated that (direct from Juleen's mouth) 9 times out of 10 eBay will find in favor of the buyer. Juleen said he understood my frustration but eBay has no way of knowing whether or not the buyer damaged the item since the buyer had failed (declined) to respond to my October 6th message.

To make matters worse, because I escalated the claim and lost, a defect strike was now charged to my previously unblemished account. I am out $107, left with a jacket that has now been significantly damaged (I should note that it has a delicate lining that will be ruined should we wash it with the necessary vinegar that may or may not remove the cigarette smell) and a strike on my eBay account.

I pleaded with Ben and Juleen to consider our long history of granting returns and successfully resolving issues with customers, of the thousands of dollars in fees we had produced for eBay this year alone, and the unblemished feedback record. While they would concede the point when I asked them to reason with me as fellow human beings, they claimed their hands were tied and that my only recourse was to try and get the buyer to respond in a message that he had in fact smoked in the jacket thereby making an appeal to eBay a possibility.

Sellers beware. You are on your own. Though eBay has an official item condition policy for returns, today has proven there is no way to enforce it on their end. Bad buyer behavior is not only rewarded, not only incentivized, but even aggressive and vindictive in that you will end up with a strike should you appeal. I will continue to sell on eBay. Truth is, we still make money. Yes there is a cost of doing business. I never expected, however, that it would hurt like it did today.

It's just too darned much trouble to order through this online site any longer, and I am stopping my patronage. Mind you, this has been my "Filene's Basement"-type online department store, and they will now lose a really, really good client.

eBay closed my selling account because of the new policies. My seller performance dropped in 2 weeks from high rated to below standard. I received in 1 month more cases than in 4 months before. It looks like a lot of buyers opens cases instead of contacting me. What is going on? I did not change anything. My feed back is great. I also know that this happened with more sellers on eBay recently and there are more to come. I have spoken with 5 account specialists after they closed my account and finally it was clear why eBay restricted me. I cannot sell anymore on eBay.

Honestly, after one week without eBay I feel good. It's over. All the rubbish I received from eBay, all the confusion from eBay, and not to forget PayPal limits. Never do business again on eBay or with PayPal. But it is not over yet. All my open requests are closed by eBay, every customer who opened a request received a full refund. Even the customers who received their product received a full refund!! What happens is that eBay opens cases so every request becomes a case. When I look at the cases I see, "You opened a case"! Well I did not! I have already received 10 messages from eBay saying: eBay Customer Support made a decision. Decision: This case has been decided in the buyer's favor.

Finally a account specialist told me that I was not protected anymore, so every customer who opens a request, gets a full refund. Every sale I made was before they shut my selling account down so I was protected! But it is eBay and eBay has its own rules. I`m thinking of hiring a lawyer and I know that I am not the only one. On the other hand, my loss is about 200-300$ and I'm pretty sure that a lawyer will cost me much more. So if every seller on eBay thinks the same, it will always be the same. Sellers on eBay are not more than payers and if a seller stops, they have plenty other sellers to take over.

EBay, with all the drop shippers is very expensive for customers. eBay wants to decrease the number of drop shippers by killing them. I cannot imagine that it is allowed what eBay is doing. I cannot imagine that the cooperation between eBay and PayPal is legal. Sellers don't have a choice and, told by a few account specialists, "PayPal knows exact what your eBay account is". eBay knows exact what your PayPal account is. Is this legal???

eBay is "on the side" of the buyer. They will not do anything to assist the seller should an issue arise no matter how simple, nor if it is a US Federal regulation for them to do so. Avoid eBay and go with other 3rd part selling sites like Bonanza. I spent nearly 5 hours on the phone with them today to try and get them to assist me in working with the buyer to reach an amicable resolution and they would not do anything except "close" the sale which would have put the money I should receive in jeopardy. It is odd that they are not equally loyal to buyers and sellers as us sellers are the ONLY reason they exist. Without our items there would be no need for buyers.

I called eBay and they told me I should of known to call them instead of shipping the item back. How am I suppose to know to call them back when the seller said he approved the refund and there is no warning on the returns page about NOT shipping an item back without an eBay return label? I talked with multiple eBay representatives and all of them told me that it is common sense to call ebay before returning an item. If that is the case, then put that on the returns page. Horrible ebay policy, they need to fix their returns page to clearly state that.

I am definitely seeing a trend building up once eBay change their return and performance policy. I read over 20 reviews, and in all these reviews I find a common theme that has happened to me as well. After investing all of money to build my own website on eBay platform, it is time to move on, as I have been losing too much money on fraudulent returns. I am in agreement with all the other negative reviews about eBay's new policies which are hurting sellers. I have bought and sold on eBay for more than 17 years. I have always been a highly-rated seller until recently. The only problems I have encountered over the years is with the few consumers who refuse to take any responsibility on their part of the transaction. With eBay policies now, it's even worse letting consumers run rampant over sellers.

I have had more bad episodes in the first 6 months of this year, than I have had in all the other years I have dealt with eBay. It is both frustrating, and sad. I am now being blocked from posting any new listings, getting this message when I try: "Your limits can't be increased at this time because your seller performance is below standard." The reason I am all of a sudden below standard is the new policies.

The only way that any of the new policies would make sense is if eBay were strictly a "retail" site, which it is not. Forcing small time sellers to absorb costs of returns, wasted time, bad feedback from scammers, promising one-day handling, etc., etc. It's ridiculous. eBay wants all these "new" shoppers, but they must realize if they do not have people selling, there can be no buyers. I am hoping that some of the other selling sites are taking note, and doing whatever they can to get new business from all the people fleeing eBay. I have already started doing research on other sites to sell on.

I have been a long time eBay user, and have loved them for years. However within the last couple years I have noticed a HUGE increase of 'scam sellers' on the site. In the past 2 years I have been sold: 1. A laptop that was cracked and malfunctioning. 2. A music box that didn't work. 3. Defective dvds. 4. MANY items from Chinese sellers that were of unbelievably poor quality. 5. Used/non-working cell phone batteries advertised as "new." There have been other things but I can't list them all.

It seems like people are using eBay to unload garbage on consumers, that they are unable to sell in shops because of their defects. And you can't rely on eBay's feedback either, as most of these sellers have good feedback. They know some way of getting the negatives removed from their feedback page by contacting eBay. As far as the return policy goes, it is hit or miss. I have been able to retrieve my money back at times, but other times eBay has allowed crooks to take my money. Ebay can be a good place to find rare items that you cannot find anywhere else. Unfortunately dishonest sellers have made it a very risky place to shop. Proceed at your own risk.

When I tried to contact with eBay customer service by sending messages as I used to if I faced any problem, I didn't find this service. It was probably removed. I found only three contact options: "Ask the Community", "call us", and "call me".

Anyway, I refused to pay. And I tried to close my account in eBay. However, they refused the cancellation. They said that if I want to close my account, I have to close the case that the seller opened by paying. Then I decided to contact with eBay by using " Ask the Community " which I knew later that most of them are sellers. "eBay community" didn't help me with anything.

The seller caused me a problem for nothing. What should I do??? He forced me to pay again. And again PayPal declined the transaction. Even after I told the seller that there was a problem with PayPal, he refused to cancel the case. He didn't ship the item yet and wanted me to pay for nothing. People be careful. On January 30th, 2016 I had a house fire and had to move into a hotel. Nothing that I sell on ebay was affected by the fire or the smoke. I sell high-end women's fashion, shoes and accessories. On March 12th I was in terrible pain because I was having to watch my 18 year old Himalayan cat die for 2 weeks in the hotel room. It was on a Saturday and just the day before I had to take him to the 3rd vet with whom validated what I already knew in my heart. I had already taken him to 2 other vets and they said that everything was fine. Well it wasn't fine. He was not eating and he was growing weaker by the moment. The last vet told me to come back on the 14th and he would do blood work. The blood work would have been done that day but I couldn't afford it. All night Friday and all day Saturday I was so grief stricken and I truly believed that I was going to find Spirit dead in the hotel room.

Well that Saturday night I received a message on ebay from a buyer named crustyrusty2016. She wanted a dress that was listed for $225.00 and I listed that I would not be taking any offers. Well her email said that if I let her have the dress for $175 that she would pay immediately. I did not want to accept the offer but I had no other choice because I needed the money for Spirits blood tests. And after having an ebay manager tell PayPal that I had met all the requirements and that I should be receiving my money immediately the day before I did not think there would be a problem. Well after Crustyrusty purchased the dress I called PayPal to make sure that I had access to the funds and they said no.

PayPal had spoken with ebay the day before and I thought everything was cleared up. So I could not use the money crustyrusty2016 had paid PayPal and I was really going crazy because #1 I was slowly watching my best friend in this world die and #2 I had to deal with this same thing the day before and the money had gotten released. Well I was desperate. There was a matching tech purse that went with the dress but I had it listed separately. Well as soon as Crustyrusty2016 found that out she wanted it. And I told her that if she would call PayPal and tell them that it is okay to release my funds I would just include the purse in the sale and she agreed to do it tomorrow which was Sunday.

Well I never heard from her on Sunday and I realized that she was not a woman of her word so I had to totally break down and ask my brother with whom I had lost complete contact with for the money for the blood test. He agreed. On Monday I was heading out of the room with Spirit and I received a message from Crustyrusty2016 that she spoke with PayPal that morning and they said that I would be getting the money by that evening. Well right away I knew she was lying. I had another woman call on another purchase and PayPal told her that there was absolutely nothing that she could do. Also the agreement with Crustyrusty 2016 was that she get ahold of PayPal on Sunday but she was just too busy. So because of the fact that she put it off and that she was lying I decided that she would not receive the tech purse.

At 12:54 am on March 14th, 2016 my beloved Spirit was put to sleep and from the stress of it all I thought I was losing my mind. I had thought about just cancelling the order with Crustyrusty but I sent her the dress anyway. Three days later I received a call from her and she was very crazy and mad because she had not received the tech purse with the dress and I told her that first off she did not purchase it and secondly that she lied and did not follow through with what we agreed on.

Later I received an email from ebay that she was returning the dress on the basis that it was missing parts. Well ebay allowed her to have the refund but they switched it to the fact that the dress wasnt as described. I was livid. I knew exactly what she was doing. She was trying to manipulate me into giving her the tech purse so that I would not have that strike against me. Well I did not budge. I was going through one of the hardest times in my life and both ebay and Crustyrusty were making my life worse. And the thing that really got me is that crustyrusty2016 knew that my cat died but instead of showing any compassion she did the opposite and chose to make my life very hard.

Finally one of the ebay people that answers the phone and works with people told me to give her back the $175 and then she would have to ship the dress to me. Well get this... I received a package from her and it was totally empty. My father was with me when I got the empty package. I was beyond livid and I called up ebay to tell them and the lady told me to call the police so I did. Also ebay started telling me that you never give the money back before you get the item. Duh!! But I specifically told to do so and then all of a sudden eBay denies everything. I called the police and he told me that it sounded like ebay was up to something and I showed him the empty package and gave him crustyrusty2016's name and number and that was the last I heard from him.

But I was beyond angry and embarrassed about this whole thing so I sent crustyrusty2016 a message on ebay and told her exactly what I thought of her. Well she turned it over to ebay and ebay charged me for violating one of their policies and then they suspended me forever. And this witch crustyrusty2016 with whom has the $300 dress and got her $175 back is still on ebay buying and selling like nothing has ever happened. In fact Ebay closed my account and wouldnt even let me cancel the store apps I had and I'm still paying for them. And they are not straight with me at all about what is going on. But obviously they see this crustyrusty2016 as the victim and that is not right or fair. By the way when all this was going on her username was crustyrusty something but recently I learned that she still is indeed on ebay and that crustyrusty2016 is her new username.

The ONLY thing I did that was wrong was send her an angry message on ebay and thats it. But I have a feeling that something else is going on and I think I have the right to know. That woman ripped me off, got her money back because ebay told me to give her money back and she's sitting like a princess while both she and ebay have committed character assassination and honestly with all the trauma I went through I finally had it and tried to commit suicide. The stress was just too much and the powerlessness I felt was so overwhelming. I don't want anybody else going through this so please go elsewhere. Ebay is not worth it. Honestly they almost killed me and I take that very seriously!!

I don't even know where to start. I've had so many terrible experiences with eBay - I just hope another honest and ethical competitor comes along soon because I love the idea behind eBay but the people running the show clearly care nothing for their consumers and hopefully will reap what they sow. My latest example: I placed an order on 9/13/16. Six days later I noticed it hadn't been shipped yet so I contacted the seller who said he/she would send the tracking number later that day. I never heard back from them. On 9/27/16 I opened a case requesting a refund for an item not received and left the appropriate, negative feedback.

The next day the seller wrote back that they would be shipping the item. I responded that that was unacceptable and that I had requested a refund. They commented that they would issue the refund anyway and that I should just keep the item. The seller never issued the refund and I noticed that the feedback I had left had a positive, not negative rating. I contacted eBay to address both issues; they said that now that the seller had shipped the item I had to just wait for it and try to do a return at a later date (are you kidding me), and that they could do nothing about the feedback rating. I asked for a supervisor, was put on an extremely long hold, then told they were all on a call and that I would get a call back at a later time.

The next day a supervisor called and regurgitated the same things the first (very rude) customer service rep originally said and could do nothing to help with either issue. I asked how to escalate the issue and was given an 800 number to the executive offices. I tried to call the number only to find that it was no longer functional (eBay message stated that it was no longer in use). I then opened a Better Business Bureau complaint and lo and behold, the person who responded basically parroted what the previous two reps said and basically apologized that she could not help at all. DISGUSTING way to treat their customers. I have always done honest business with eBay as both a buyer and seller and they continue to show just how little they value that relationship.

Updated on 12/03/2016: A buyer purchased a local pickup only item and then requested that I cancel it since the time for him to cancel had already passed (Ebay then advised me directly to do so). I cancelled the item which generated the Paypal return THROUGH EBAY. Paypal said the refund transaction went through successfully (at a cost to me).

I then continued to receive notifications from Ebay that I needed to refund the buyer. I spoke with Ebay back on 11/23, explaining that I refunded the buyer on 11/16 but that the system was still telling me that the refund hadn't been issued. They said the buyer had to acknowledge receipt but that if he didn't the case would be closed on 11/27 and I would not be bothered anymore (that did not happen). I emailed the buyer asking him to acknowledge receipt (he was the one who requested the cancellation in the first place!). He did not respond and now, on 12/3, I received an email saying the cancellation didn't go through because I did not issue the refund. This is highly unethical and action should be taken against Ebay.

There is absolutely no comprehension from this company as to what customer service actually is. The most nightmare experience any shopper can have now is to use eBay and for online purchases. The likelihood now in the majority of cases is that the goods you pay for rarely materialize, and even if and when they do, they are rarely are they as described on the website. Electrical items in particular are a major fraud problem. Often if these are new they are imported copies that have never passed any European safety standards, and if you are considering buying second hand or vintage electrical items, these are generally goods which have previously been disposed of and/or salvaged from a skip or reclamation unit.

Individual sellers who often list items in an online auction frequently use friends and relatives to bid up the price of the goods they are trying to sell and this activity is well known to eBay, but is also something which they will happily turn a blind eye because their business is reliant on the final end action value of the item. Ebay claim to have a buyer guarantee to get your money back should problems arise with a purchase, but in order to get any redress, even after weeks of waiting for a refund, both eBay and PayPal rules that you firstly have to pay out even MORE money at your own cost by returning the known fake items back to the criminals where often these goods are again advertised on a different eBay owned website called Gumtree.

And if for example under the eBay terms and conditions in order to even get a refund the cost of returning the fraudulent items back by a tracked and signed for courier service is more than the actual item originally cost, or is perhaps especially weighty or even from another country then you will lose a huge amount of money either way even with the offer of 'have postage on us' from PayPal which is only a maximum of fifteen pounds. The fraudulent sellers meanwhile continue trading quite happily on the eBay website.

The days of finding a bargain on this type of auction website are well and truly over and the risks are far too high at the end of the day to make this a viable online shopping experience. When you take into account the excessive and over inflated seller costs of the initial postage, the disappointment of not receiving what you have ordered or in addition, when the item is not as even described if and when it does arrive, then perhaps there are much better and cheaper shopping experiences to be found elsewhere.

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! eBay is TERRIBLE for sellers. You have NO protection; they can stiff you for $1000s of dollars. I sold a $1000 exhaust and paid $75 to ship it. The buyer did not read the listing, his motorcycle is a different year, he found a way to get eBay to force a return and force me to pay for another $75 for return shipping. eBay policies side with the buyer to screw the seller. eBay did not reach out to me for any information and made the “permanent” decision in the buyer’s favor. I even called eBay proactively before contacting the buyer and they said it would go in my favor.

In addition, I received the exhaust back damaged by the buyer and eBay states “there is no coverage for that”. They insist I have to provide a full refund. So a buyer can buy something without doing due diligence by not reading the ad and looking at the pictures, return the item damaged, and eBay will still force a refund to the buyer. They can take your money for shipping for the item and force you to pay for shipping it back. If you don’t, they will take your money as a refund to the buyer and the buyer gets to keep the item.

I brought an item from the seller, and my package is lost or stolen. I contacted the seller, and told me to check with my neighbor, friend or check with local mail office like it's not their responsibility anymore after the item is sent out. If I have to go through so much hassle to deal with this why would I even want to order at the first place.

The seller also mentioned if someone already signed for me? They've tracked my item was left at the front door, and how could they left at the front door if it requires my signature. They gave me a run around, and obviously didn't want to refund my money. I ordered ton of stuffs on eBay and very accurate, but this time is very frustrated. I opened a case and eBay quickly decided to take the seller's side, and not refund my money. The money back guaranteed from eBay is not truth, if the item is lost or stolen, you won't get your money back. I will stick with Amazon from now on.

I am very unhappy with my purchase of a trumpet from elderarrows through eBay. I needed to buy a trumpet for my son who wanted to join the band. I needed it before Sept 15, Thursday, for his 2nd band class. I’ve made bids to buy other trumpets but didn’t win and I was watching other trumpets for sale including the one for sale by elderarrows. The item for sale is a used trumpet and its case. There is no mouthpiece included. The item was advertised as used and is supposed to be "An item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. This item may be a floor model or store return that has been used."

Elderarrows has a high-rating in eBay and I thought that would be a good sign to buy from this seller. Since this seller has a high rating and that eBay has a guarantee, I decided to buy. Before making an offer, I asked elderarrows if the trumpet is functional, especially if the valves and slides work. The seller responded that the slides and valves work well but probably needs service before use. I made an offer to buy for $170 on Sept 8th and paid immediately through PayPal. The item arrived on Sept 16, Friday, a day after my son’s class and 8 days since I paid for it.

When my son finally got to the band class on Sept 22nd, the trumpet does not work. I don’t know how the seller said the trumpet works, especially valves and slides, because you cannot even blow into the trumpet. The band teacher had to look into the main pipe of the trumpet and said something is stuck inside it that stops the air from flowing. The trumpet is not working if the air does not flow through it!! I contacted elderarrows and the seller said they are unaware of the problem. My question is, how can they mark an item as used (supposed to be usable and functional) if they don’t know if it works? If they don’t know if it works, shouldn’t they advertise it as ‘for parts only’? I know my son needed a trumpet and I was told that the music shops are very busy at this time. I cannot afford to buy another trumpet especially with the time constraint.

I paid to have the trumpet fixed and the shop was able to take out a clear/silicon looking item from inside the trumpet. My guess was that it was a hearing plug but I am not sure. After paying $80 and buying a mouthpiece for $50+, I ended up paying $300 for the trumpet. I knew there were other trumpets for sale that were marked as immaculate that were available to buy at a lower price. But I am now stuck with this one at a more expensive price. I opened a case with eBay but eBay does not want to refund my purchase because the trumpet has been changed.

What am I supposed to do? Wait for their 30 days or so to determine what to do with the trumpet? I did not buy the item because I just fancy it; I bought it because I needed it. Anyway, to make a long story short, I will not buy from eBay again and I do not trust elderarrows when they say an item is used and functional. Maybe I’ll close my PayPal account too since they are owned by eBay. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Ebay does not offer a 'customer service'! I returned an item because it was not as described. Being small and light I sent it back by first class mail. At first the seller denied receiving this return so I left a negative feedback. She then twice offered to refund but only on condition that I remove the negative feedback - this amounts to blackmail and surely not something eBay would condone - they do! They denied my refund because I did not have a tracking number (not possible with first class post) and removed negative feedback, encouraging seller to be dishonest again to another unsuspecting purchaser. She was then able to resell the item making double the profit, which means even more fees for eBay! Obviously the fees obtained by this seller is more important than their customers or in fact honesty. Do not expect any support from eBay, they do not care about customers only making money, even if it is dishonestly.

I have a perfect feedback score (close to 1500) and 5 stars for items as described. BUT, as we all know, if a buyer decides to scam you, as a seller, there is no recourse through eBay. They will inevitably TAKE SAID BUYER'S SIDE EVERY TIME!!! I suppose I should actually be grateful that most buyers, thus far have been honest. Otherwise I would have really been up that creek long ago.

I won't go into a great amount of detail but a buyer has decided that the pants I sold her are not the brand stated, which they are. She even went so far as to apparently roll these pants in a dog bed or large pile of fur to make sure that eBay sees that I sent her garbage! BTW I have no furry pets, my turtle and tortoise don't really shed much fur! So after wasting my breath with eBay, needless to say the buyer has ruined my ratings, which in turn raises my fees as a seller. I have deleted all listings and am in the process of quitting eBay, COMPLETELY, as a seller AND a buyer. PLEASE HEED MY ADVICE and stay away from selling on eBay, especially DO NOT sell high value items as buyers can, and will claim item not as described or fraud to KEEP the item AND get money back! eBay is a bag of **! After 48 hours, I open up an unpaid item case but then the buyer has 4 days to pay for the item. It takes 6 days to close the case without having to pay penalties. After the 6th day, I can relist the item. eBay needs to shorten the time. 24 hours and open an unpaid item case and another 24 to pay -- 2 days total before sellers can close the case to relist it without penalties.

eBay has really changed significantly over the years, all in an effort to not only make it profitable, but also to ensure it is a marketplace where buyers are not deceived by seller tactics. When I say sellers, I mean sellers from first time to mega. Particularly with regard to used item purchases. I can say 97% did not have damage properly disclosed or photographed in the listing. By this I mean any damage to an item that has an effect on its value, its aesthetics, it's usability, or its remaining life. eBay sellers excel at photographing an item from an angle that doesn't show damage. eBay sellers excel at posting one photo of an item and claiming it is in mint condition, yet when you receive the item, you find out why another side is not shown. This is not only deceitful, it is fraud. It is rampant on eBay. Counterfeits of anything are plenty on eBay. If they policed their ads, they could find them easily.

eBay's feedback system is moronic. Think about it. Seller A posts positive feedback for Buyer B. Now, let's see. I am a eBay seller. Buyer B just bought a toaster from me. Why should I waste my time bothering with feedback for some who bought a toaster? What relevance is that information anyone? Why does anyone care? It is the most stupid, illogical waste of technology resources even tracking that information.

Flip side of the coin? Buyers should be required to post feedback on a transaction. This information is relevant and useful. Feedback for buyers needs radio button options for buyer satisfaction, dissatisfaction, seller failing to disclose material damage, seller intentionally hiding damage by not disclosing in description or photos, etc. etc. This information is relevant to buyers, not what the current system offers buyers. It would be easy to have a seller score like a FICO score, where a buyer can see for a particular seller how many items were sold where damage was not disclosed in listing, whether item shipped within seller's stated shipping time frame, whether you received an unapproved substitution, and on and on.

Until eBay does a better job of protecting buyers from deceitful sellers, I am going to cut back substantially on my eBay purchases. Two items I bought last week ($150+ ) had undisclosed damage on them. I am tired of eBay making it so easy for sellers to rip off buyers. I am tired of paying eBay (yes, I, the buyer, am paying the fee. Without me, eBay and seller get nothing) a fee to turn around and get screwed by the multitude of dishonest sellers that thrive on eBay. Thanks eBay for screwing me over on my last two purchases and protecting your sellers by not giving me an avenue to warn potential buyers about sellers who are not honest in their listings. By not giving buyers a way to truly expose sellers who use deception in their listings, eBay itself is part of each deceptive sellers scam.

Buyers need a way to prominently tell other buyers of their true shopping experience, not the lame system eBay currently has in place. If a sellers' listing is deceptive, then that seller needs to be identified as a dishonest seller. What's wrong with sellers being required to be 100% honest in their listings? The seller has total control over content, so make sellers accountable, such as calling a spade a spade. If damage isn't disclosed by seller, let people know. Let people be advised of the deceitful tactics of sellers and call it what it is deceit and fraud. Don't sugarcoat it with terms like "accuracy". eBay needs to come to reality. Deceit and inaccuracy are synonymous only in eBay's world. Out here in the real world, buyers want to know who is honest and who isn't.

Just had a very unsavory experience with eBay after listing and selling a high ticket item a couple of months ago. I listed a compressor in May which sold for $3500 to a buyer in California. I hired a freight company for $755, crated the unit and shipped it out a few days later. The freight company completely botched the shipment, uncrating the unit and "losing" some of the merchandise before it arrived in CA. The buyer obviously rejected the shipment due to its condition and I received an email that it was rejected and would be sent back to me. Things got progressively worse with that whole ordeal and I barely got back half of the sell price from the company's insurance, but that's a different story. Meanwhile, the buyer asked for a refund, understandably. However, I never received any explanation or photos or anything from the buyer, the freight company or eBay; all I knew at this point was that the shipment was rejected.

I wanted to make sure that I wasn't just losing the sale because of buyer's remorse so I asked the buyer to wait until I received the shipment back so I could verify any issues first hand. That didn't sit well with him so he opened a complaint with eBay. I was promptly told by one of their reps that I needed to issue the refund right away, within 5 days. I called eBay customer service to explain the situation and the rep I spoke with understood but said that they would probably go ahead and issue the refund immediately and that I would have to reimburse them afterward. The problem was that it took over 2 weeks for the shipment to be returned to me. So when it finally showed up and I saw that the crating was missing and that half of the merchandise was also missing I immediately added funds to my PayPal account for eBay to draw from and let them know. I also asked for my seller fees to be reimbursed at that time.

I was informed that I had to wait until the buyer's refund was posted and my payment went through before I could get those fees refunded. So I tried again a couple weeks later only to have eBay tell me I had a $128 balance due on my account that had to be paid before I could get my refund. I asked if they could just deduct that from the $450 they owed me for the listing fee and they said no, I had to pay my portion first. Well, I finally got around to paying it this week after wrangling with them ad nauseum over this. When I called today for my refund of $450+ I was sent through 3 levels of support where I had to explain the situation over and over again until I finally got to someone who could make a decision. Lo and behold, I find out that eBay will NOT refund my seller's fees because they had to issue the refund rather than me doing it.

I explained again what happened and the fact that I was never informed of this policy by their rep but apparently that's their policy and she wouldn't budge. So I'm out the $450 for an item that didn't sell and all this multi-gazillion-dollar company can say is "sorry", I should have read the fine print. $450 may not be much to them but it's a lot to me and I really did nothing wrong to merit this injustice. I simply trusted some large companies to do the right thing and ended up getting screwed in the process. Very disappointing eBay (and FreightPros). I'll never be back. You've lost a customer for good because of your unreasonable behavior. Yes, I technically should have know this but had they simply explained that to me before issuing the buyer's refund this would have turned out very differently. Goodbye and good riddance. Add me to your long list of angry customers.

You may think just because you have been with eBay for many years, it is a sure way to avoid suspension. Nope, you are wrong people. Many people assume sellers who have been suspended are a result of shady activity. I don't think so people, you make assumptions, but you haven't been on the other side of the fence. You will see once you wake up, log into your account and realize you have been suspended.

That is exactly how I was. I thought I was invincible to eBay suspensions, but guess what. It was a hoax. Waking up to that MC999 is like getting hit with a rusty bat to the stomach. $10,000 in sales a month all wiped away in just one short email. Felt like the world was against me. I have kids to feed, a mortgage to pay, hell, I even got life insurance when I didn't need it. But now I am starting to think it was necessary.

The truth of the matter is, eBay will screw you and stab you in the back. Just because you are doing well and making good sales. Don't think for one minute that this could be you. All your hard work and income can be shot in one email. For this matter, I went the path of stealth with the help of Auction Essistance. Is it hard? You bet. Is it legal? Hells yes. Is it the only way? Quite frankly, yes. When you are struggling to feed a family, barely hanging by the threads just to survive, you are going to fight.

Just because eBay suspended you doesn't mean you are out for good. Stealth may be the ticket to help you survive again. Do not lose hope and let eBay backstab you and win. This company has no remorse nor love for their sellers like they used to. They lost all of that. The company that used to care is gone. It is time to stand up and fight back.

I recently listed two items on one single sale and it sold. That same day, packed it up myself and took it to the post office to go out for early arrival. Buyer received product but then claimed item was broken. However, he claimed that the part that was broken was stuck in the bottle. Puzzled, I wondered how that could be as I packed them separately. He claimed it was not broken in shipment and that I sold the item broken. Then he offered to buy one but not the other. All conversations were on website so eBay resolution could read. I thought since it was clear that they were packed separately they would clearly see that the buyer broke it or at least lied about it.

So now I see that the seller was favored by eBay and they reimbursed him without even making contact with me, the seller. What horrible customer service. Now I just received the merchandise back from the seller which are broken and I have to repay eBay back for the funds they gave back to the buyer. It seems as though they favor the buyer and NOT the seller so I will NEVER buy or sell another thing on eBay. Highly disappointed with their service and lack of support for sellers.

Furthermore, after calling them twice, they advised me NOT to speak to the buyer so I thought they meant they would keep in contact with me. NOT TRUE! Why would anyone sell a broken item? That would be stupidity unless so claimed. IF it was a small amount I would still have the same reaction and I would chalk it up to a learning experience but that is not the case for me. I am so disappointed with eBay and angry as well. THINK TWICE about buying or selling with them. Never again for me.

The seller defamed my character with a reply that had nothing to do with the actual purchase. She was angry because she got busted scamming people and I wasn't tolerating it. I asked eBay to remove the defamatory remark, but they wouldn't. I closed my account after 8 years. I can think of many other places that don't allow their Sellers to disrespect their customers while shopping. They don't deserve my hard earned cash. Case closed.

My computer got hack and an item was placed. When I called ebay and told them to retract the item. They told me to go through the process and send the email seller to cancel it. Now, given that as soon as I saw this transaction placed, I called eBay right away but they said they have any process to handle the retract. At about this time, my amazon also got hack and I called amazon and they handled very professionally.

Anyhow, after two weeks, apparently the seller did not ready the request and pushed the product to me. As soon as I received the product, I called ebay again. After more than 3 hours on the phone and agreed that I don't have to pay anything (Reference call: **). I was asked to send the request to return the product. I followed the advice. Two days later, I go the email to print out the return label. When I click on to print the label, it wanted to charge me for shipping it back.

Again calling the ebay, the guy named Raul (RAULO) (Reference: **) refused to honor the agreement previously stated that I should not pay anything. He simply stated that Ebay don't have this process to protect the buyer. Apparently, they cannot do anything. Please note that this item is cost only ~ $10. It looks like someone tries to attempt to see how much they can charge to my account. At this similar time on my Amazon, the hacker placed the order for the iphone and Amazon be able to stop it. Further than that, Amazon makes me feel like I'm very well protected.

My advice, don't buy anything on ebay. You will waste time talking with ebay customer service if you run into any problem. For this hack transaction, it's only $10 and they could not do a darn thing. So imagine if you buy something more than this? They will not protect you!!! If there's a rating lower than 1 star, I will give ebay this rating. ;-(

I've been using eBay for several years for both buying and selling and I have to tell you, if you're a buyer, you totally benefit but if you're a seller, you do not. The problem with eBay is first - you have too many buyers that are fakes. Lot of times they claim that you sold them a defective item which I tested and packaged good before shipping it out. I try to bargain with them such as by keeping the item and I refund the buyer half but with no success. On top of that they want you to pay for the shipping when they return it to you. This happened to me several times.

Second is you can get insurance for this but the problem is that your purchase insurance and your shipping is higher and eBay nickles and dime you to death to the point that you are force to charge higher prices; therefore scaring off potential buyers because your cost is too high... TOO MAY CHEAPOS ON EBAY. The sellers that really benefit are ones that sell in volume with knock off stuff that barely lasts for a year or 2 or specialty items such as collectibles. I used to sell stuff around the house but to be honest my selling days are over on eBay, however I may use the site to buy only. I'm better off having a garage sell. Amazon does not have shady and cheap buyers. eBay has cheap and shady buyers.

On August 20, 2016 I sold a Princess Of Ireland Barbie Doll to a buyer for $19.35 including shipping. On August 22, 2016 I sent it out via USPS First class. Mail to the address the buyer specified. Then three days later on August 25, 2016 according to the tracking information from USPS.com the buyer refused the delivery in Portland, Oregon at 7:23 am. And the package was being returned to me. After informing the buyer of this they told me that they received packages from this address all the time without problem. Well, clearly there is now. I told them I was at a loss for what to do because this has never happened to me before. After told the package was being returned they said that they spoke with the people the package was sent to and they told them maybe the carrier delivered to the wrong area. Could I please verify the information with the post office. Which I spent most of Friday afternoon doing.

When I explained again that the delivery was still coming back as refused they said that I should wait until I received it and then try to resend it. Well, that never happened Sunday then 28th I was greeted by an email from PayPal telling me the buyer brought a complaint against me claiming I never shipped the doll or that it was not as described. I did send the doll. I had copies of the mailing receipts as well as the tracking information from USPS.com. showing the timeline of the delivery from my address to the package destination. The package was returned to me the following day.

So now it sits in my living room with a big yellow sticker on it saying refused unable to forward return to sender. On Tuesday August 30th I received an email from PayPal saying they ruled in favor of the buyer. After looking them up on eBay discovered they are based in Hong Kong - a huge piece of information they never bothered to tell me. If I had known this I never would have sold them that doll. My listing specifically state no international shipping. That's why it never made it to its destination not enough postage and no customs forms, two things unless I am mistaken, are still required to ship anything internationally. It only had enough postage on it to be shipped exactly where the buyer told me. Does eBay or Paypal care on. They gave the buyer a full refund and closed the case. I wrote a letter of complaint to eBay but I am fairly confident they will not lift a finger. I am looking into other sites other than eBay to sell on now.

I gave unsatisfactory review to the seller. Crowning blow. eBay sends email to me saying they will not post negative feedback because they closed the dispute case in favor of the seller. Let me tell you my story. I bought some items from a buyer on Ebay. The item was shipped to a hotel address in Georgia, because I was staying at that hotel at the time. The shipper at Georgia, however, refused to take the package to the hotel (maybe (s)he thought hotels did not take packages or (s)he was intimidated by the hotel idea or something). Thus, the package was marked "undeliverable as addressed, and was being sent back to the seller." I emailed the seller saying that the shipper refused to take the package to my address and the package was being sent back to him, and thus, I requested a refund. The seller agreed. However, I had been waiting for 3 weeks but have not received a refund, even though the seller was based also in Georgia, and package was sent from Georgia as well.

I emailed the seller, and he told me to wait. I waited some more, but still didn't get the refund. I complained to the seller. The seller, very unhelpful, asked Ebay to step in, instead of giving me a refund. Ebay judged in favor of the seller. I contacted Ebay, disagreeing with Ebay's decision because I couldn't lose my money for the items I hadn't received and it was not my fault. It was the shipper who automatically returned the item. I showed Ebay my purchase history, which indicated that several packages of mine had been sent to this address successfully before, so there was no mistake with the address. Ebay agreed, and gave me the refund. Everything solved, despite my disappointment at the seller and Ebay.

But it hasn't ended yet. A month later, that seller, out of nowhere, asked Ebay to take a look at the case again. It was the story of a month ago, and everything was solved already. Are you kidding me? I requested to close the case, and gave the seller 1 star due to the seller's poor communication with customers. Ebay refused to make my rating avail because of the reason I had no idea of (?).

In general, Ebay has a very poor communication with both sellers and buyers. Its system fails to track the packages and purchase transaction thoroughly, and thus causing much miscommunication between buyers and sellers. It's incompetence in solving conflicts between buyers and sellers also causes a lot of rifts among its users as well. I recommend using Amazon instead. I have been using Amazon for years and very satisfied with the website's functionality.

Buyer always wins. I have run into two situations now whereby the buyer of a product my company was selling claims the item arrived inoperable. This is highly unlikely since we tested the gear before we sold it, and we packaged the items extremely carefully. It seems to be a scam: the buyer claims the item arrived broken, knowing that eBay ALWAYS sides with the buyer (one buyer even wrote us an email telling us not to bother to contest his claim because he had done this many times and eBay always takes his side).

So, eBay gives the seller two options: buy the item back AND pay all shipping charges, or - get this - LET THE BUYER KEEP THE ITEM FREE. Well, gosh, if you're a buyer, just claim every single item you receive arrived broken and sure, in many cases the seller will just buy it back, but in a few cases - enough to make it worthwhile - the seller will just take the loss, and the "buyer" gets to steal stuff legally. I will never, ever sell on EBay again.

I suggest that you buy and sell on Amazon which has much better ratings and customer service is superior. When calling eBay you will be put on hold forever. Once they answer you get the runaround. I tried contacting the seller to get them to resend it and specifically said that I do not want a refund. They give a refund. Ebay said that they can only send another request for them to send the item but they can not make the seller send the item.

The latest is that I have received wrong coloured items (last 3 out of 7 items). I contacted the sellers to request the correct items but I know that the seller can just give a refund (without my consent) and the case would be closed, so I contacted ebay. I asked ebay to stress to the sellers that I want the correct item and not a refund, they said that they do not contact the sellers anymore. That explains why the sellers do not care to send an item or the correct item. One negative review will not do much. What about BUYERS' RIGHTS? I sold my Coach Luggage on eBay. The buyer decided that it was not what she wanted. eBay took money from my acct without me ever receiving my product back to pay the buyer. Although it took them about 2 weeks to give me my money from her at the beginning!!! Then, they said that my address was not valid to return my item but, she verified it with me at the beginning of the conversation. She was VERY rude! So, not only did the buyer get her money back she is going to receive my luggage back. $350 luggage. Win/win for the buyer. When I spoke with Appeals they said that is considered a Loss of Business. Really??? Beware! I WILL NEVER USE THESE ** AGAIN! They don't protect the seller AT ALL for me! I am so angry!

When I contacted them and told them that there was a bunch of similar items on ebay for sale, they told me they would get right on it. So Here is my story. I am from Israel and has been Ebay customer for many years - recently I have bought 8 6.5 inc Hoverboard wheels and The way that this item was shipped was using the "Global Shipping Program " in which you pay taxes at the selling point and Ebay will take care that you will receive your item with no special customs issues. In my case unfortunately according to Aramex customs agent "Hoverboard wheels are not allowed to be imported to Israel." So after the Aramex (shipping company) in Israel informed me that These wheels are not allowed to be imported I have contacted Ebay and opened a case.

After some time customer help contacted me asking for more information on my address... and also the indicated that I am about to receive my item. I was very happy about that. But not knowing what is about to happen. After some more time they have informed me that They have closed the case after checking the reason. They (Ebay Customer support) claimed that the Seller has supplied them information that according to the tracking number I have received the item. Now this was the first Lie. For each one of you - if you want to check the tracking information (of the last carrier) is ** of the Aramex - you will see that this item is under customs clearance since July the 7th.

I Have gave Ebay Customer Support all the information to check that I did not received the item and also explained to them that this item is not allowed to be imported to Israel Although it was Eligible as "Global Shipping Program" - this means that the seller or Ebay (one of them made a mistake) put this as an Eligible Global Shipping program and me as a customer thinking that If it is a Global Shipping Program Item and that I pay the taxes I will get it. WRONG. Ebay Someone as I have said made a mistake and not only that after I have sent some more information to Ebay Customer Support and showing them that I have not received the Item by easily checking the Tracking number of Aramex ** They asked me to get a letter from the customs that show that this item could not be imported to Israel. They gave me 5 days to get this letter. This was on Aug-8.

So I have contacted the Aramex Customs agent asking for the letter. He has replied that he will take care of it but since we are dealing with government office it will take more time. So I have contacted Ebay Customer Support and let them know that it will take more time to get the letter. Needless to Say that they did not contact me back (after 24-48 hours as they promise). They have contacted me today and let me know the following:

"Thank you for contacting us regarding the *US* Replacement Motor / wheel For 6.5" Smart Self Balancing Scooter Hoverboard, eBay item # 291751395155. My name is Rose and I am a specialist from eBay's Resolution Center. I want to make sure you are aware of the status of your appeal today. On August 8, 2016 we reached out to you asking for your cooperation to provide as a written document from Israel Post that you can't pick up the item. Our previous correspondence informed you that if we will not hear back from you, the case will be closed, and we will not be able to provide you with a refund.

Since we were not able to get the information we needed within the allotted timeframe, we are unable to grant the appeal. I understand that this is not the answer you want to hear today, and I appreciate your understanding in this difficult situation."

Of course I have written them back. And then they replied me with this: "After checking the email and your case I see that your case was place on hold to give time for your to provide documents that will serve as a proof on your claim but the hold expired and you did not provided the documents that the reason why we need to decide on your case and closed it on your seller's favor. And based on the tracking it shows that the tracking number does not show that it's prohibited and can't be picked up, in fact what it shows is that the item was already delivered. I'm glad I was able to clarify this for you and I wish you all the best on your future transactions."

So what Diana ** from Ebay Customer support is claiming that "I have received the Item" one can easily see according to the tracking number I gave (Aramex **) that it is still in customs clearance and that I did not received the item (I have added the tracking information from Aramex). My experience with Ebay. Ebay is a scam web site unlike Aliexpress and other you will never be safe On Ebay - most of the time every thing is OK because most of the sellers probably are good sellers BUT when you have a bad seller or Ebay has made mistake such as in my case YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR MONEY back. My conclusion DO NOT BUY ON EBAY. IT IS A SCAM.

They answer me after about 15 minutes on Sunday 7/31 saying "it too late to cancel". I repeated the request the same day, they answer me "price pounder is out of the office". Anyway, I waited until I received the item (Watson meat grinder $28.45+$1.71 tax) then I request to return the item. They said they will deduct $5.xx for restocking and I pay for reshipping and PayPal will charge $8.xx as fee. Now, how much left out of $30.16? For very simple and honest mistake. I think it is a game played in such situation by the seller, eBay and PayPal to retain most of the money, which I never see similar behavior for online order for past 25 year!!!

I tried to sell a CPAP machine. I know they say no sale of medical devices but when I saw they were letting everyone else sell theirs I figured I would try. 2 days later they pulled it. I called and they kept saying against eBay rules. I asked why they kept all others on and just jerked mine well. "If you report them we will take a look at them." So I have to do a big company's dirty work and report them. I told them I felt discriminated against. "Sorry you feel that way but we have a lot to look at." So they kept letting others sell them and so I looked at the others worded mine like theirs. Tried it again - no luck. 2 hrs later taken off again. Called again. Was told the same - report them. So I am aggravated because still could not sell so created new acct. Still took it down. Got message "Your selling privileges have been suspended for 3 days." No biggie so I called and argued about others being allowed to sell them. Got nowhere.

I said a big company like eBay and they do not have a program that pops up a red flag when someone types in CPAP machines. "If you give me item numbers I will send report to look into them." So I got missed reported many of them and watched auctions till the end. Lo and behold they did not remove any I reported so yeah I say it is discrimination no matter what... and why does the government let eBay rip off the post office by charging a final value fee on shipping. If someone looks at an auction and see shipping amount and thinks it's too high do not buy item find another. It is not eBay job to determine shipping. It is our job.

I charged 15.00 shipping. The other day eBay took 1.50 of it and actually shipping cost me 40.00. My bad but I did not care. It was my fault. Then I seen eBay charged me too. Now that is wrong and illegal. I thought well maybe sellers can start charging buyers a final value fee too to offsets eBay's crooked money hungry AH in charge of it and why has the gov. not checked into eBay for on shipping unreal to me. I tried to report them to BBB. They sent me here. Thanks and good luck to all who try to sell or buy on eBay. I wished yahoo.com still had their auction page that was where I started at...

I don't need eBay's help all of a sudden that is incorrect. I feel the prices to sell keep going up with all these extra fees included. I was in the hospital for 2 wks with kidney failure. I went from an above standard seller to having my account restricted. I even emailed my customers from my hospital bed explaining my situation and they were fine with it.

In the meantime, a customer, a thief that goes by the username, wallets, took advantage of my situation and said he never received my package and was refunded $200!! When I got out of the hospital, it was a day before the deadline to dispute the situation. I had the tracking number that showed delivered on my eBay account. Somehow the idiot I was talking to could not find the confirmation showing delivered. So instead of taking the word of a trusted seller, they reimbursed a thief... When I told eBay I wanted to close my account, I was informed "You can't close your account once it's opened." eBay is a crock of ** now... And I'm stuck with an open account in my name, I do not use.

When I reached eBay customer service "Pakistan/India", the non-English speaking representative said there was nothing I could do about the negative feedback.

After 10 minutes of broken English argument I got that I would have to go back to the post office and get a certifiable non-deliverable letter from the post office before any further consideration would be made by eBay. I told him to read the PayPal (giant red letters) non-certified address. I QUIT EBAY today. My advice... Don't deal with eBay. They were advised by PayPal that this was potential fraud. When I wouldn't do this they triggered a complaint through Paypal. I immediately approved their fees to be returned but still suffered through bad feedback by the scammer. It is clear that eBay and PayPal allow and encourage criminal activity on their website in the name of profits. They make it the responsibility of the consumer to prove their criminal activity before taking action and change their policies to make it difficult for the consumer to identify and eliminate the criminal activities. Purchased an item that was dropped shipped to Austin, TX and when I received the tracking number the only thing I could was the Austin address. I contacted the seller because the item was damaged. The seller said he would replace it but to give him 3-4 weeks.

At the end of the four weeks I contacted eBay and was told the time to file a claim had elapsed. I contacted PayPal and filed a claim. PayPal denied the claim because they could not verify the returned item even though I provided a USPS tracking number that shows the item was delivered. I contacted eBay to get the sellers phone number. eBay provided me with a phone number that was obviously fake. I insisted that the eBay rep verify the number and when he came back on the line, he agreed the number did not exist. (The area code provided was 945. Look it up and you will find it does not exist.)

I contacted the seller by email sent him a copy of the email he sent me 7 weeks prior stating he would replace the item. He responded he did not receive the item and that if I came to his shop to exchange the item he would replace it. His shop is in overseas so I would have to fly overseas of miles to resolve this issue. It is clear to me this individual never intended to make good on a damaged item that was sold as new. What it boils down to is eBay and PayPal make more money off these criminal enterprises than they make off individual customers and are more interested in their profits than their individual customers.

Sold a Kate Spade purse recently and the bidding process went very smooth. Nobody reached out to me or asked any questions prior to purchasing the item. Sent the item to the purchaser and the day it was delivered, they sent me a very nasty e-mail: "Got the "kate spade" purse. This bag is a fake. There is no country of origin tag. I want my money back now!" Told buyer where the tag was inside of the purse, to which she acknowledged finding it. She proceeded to complain because the tag said the purse was made in China. Next argument was that the purse was fake because it was made in China. Then after I told her that I had 3 other Kate Spade bags that all said that, she proceeded to argue that the bag was not leather. She asked another seller on eBay what the leather should feel like, and used this third party's advice to tell me the bag was not real.

3 Ebay reps advised me to not communicate with the seller who was harassing me and bullying me at this point. They also said to let them open a case, this way Ebay could intervene and have the buyer take the purse to an authentic retailer to verify. Well, within 20 minutes of Ebay intervening, they decided in favor of the buyer. The bag was never requested to be brought to a Kate Spade Store and they never asked the buyer to send them a photo of the tag. Ebay also refunded the buyer's payment BEFORE I had the purse back in my possession. Now I have a negative review on my account, which Ebay claims does not qualify for removal and I lost my money from the sale.

As you can see from my photos, the bag is 100% Cow leather. When I called Ebay to advise them that the item the customer received, was exactly the item described in my listing, they said they already made a decision and the case was closed. NEVER using this company EVER AGAIN and I would advise everyone else to STAY AWAY! Reported the buyer 4 times, which Ebay recommended that I do, none of which Ebay investigated or responded to.

So, I was able to find the receipt, and called the USPS to verify that the item had been delivered 'to his front porch' on 7/21. Now, eBay refuses to re-open this case, despite this new information! No support or contact when a buyer asked to be refunded because they said that our listing was deceptive because it didn't have the original box. By the way the listing never once indicated it had the original box. After I questioned the buyer they came back and said the item was now damaged. The fact that eBay made this decision without contacting the seller and assessing the facts means I will no longer use this mode to sell items for my small business. eBay is only in favor of those sellers who have an eBay store and not supportive of other sellers. Extremely disappointed in their customer service!!!

I sold cell phone. Guy says it could not work on Verizon so I told him to send it back for refund but he wanted the refund before the phone came back. When I got the Phone the phone was not turning on at all. The phone is completely dead. A rep told me for eBay to help me I have to find out what the buyer did with the phone before returning it. So I should find out. I ask the buyer what happened to the phone because it was working when I sent it to him. He said the only thing he could think of was it was damaged by heat because he left it in the 90-degree Sun. Now when I told this to eBay they said it is not the buyer's fault. So the problem is whose fault is it? It got damage while the buyer has it.

According to eBay policy it is the seller's responsibility for the item to reach the buyers and safely and in as described condition. But if for whatever reason the buyer decide to return the item even if it comes back broken, or you get an empty box or a rock instead, eBay will go into your account and refund the buyer and the buyers has absolutely no responsibility to make sure the item gets back to you as described. They could jump in a pool with your phone and send it back not working. Video evidence or photos makes no sense. And Reps or without remorse just saying move on. eBay has no Seller Protection. It encourage scamming and theft.

I sold a watch on eBay for $80. The buyer said the item was damaged and wanted a return. The original listing did not accept returns and the watch was brand new with proper shipping and handling so I know the buyer is lying. The only way to settle this was proof. The funny thing is, eBay IGNORES proof. They will 100% side with the buyer in this situation and if the buyer ships back a broken item, the seller must deal with it. In this scenario, I as the seller must pay for shipping both ways ($20) and if the buyer send me back a broken watch (worth $80), I lose $100 and the time I spent on listing and shipping this watch. eBay is NOT a good company. I will NEVER sell on eBay again and will ONLY use Amazon, Target, Walmart or any other store/company. Do not use this unethical company. Calling their customer service will NOT help you.

If they did care about their customers, they would provide a way (other than a phone call that is NEVER answered. I waited over 75 minutes before I decided to call it quits on the call) that buyers could contact them. eBay needs some SERIOUS customer service improvements. I may retain my account, but I SERIOUSLY doubt I will ever purchase anything through eBay again. Amazon and other sites care about their members. eBay does not give a rat's butt about their members. If they did, they would provide members with a way to communicate with their customer service department OTHER than providing a phone number that is NEVER answered!

This whole drama has lasted longer than that and this policy only seems to benefit the buyer. The buyer is also selling under a different name now and frequently changing their email contact which appears to only be for their benefit also and as they are not being genuine, obviously there would be no need if they were. eBay seems to be enabling sellers to defraud customers and for that reason I won't be going near them ever again.

I sold an item and they charged me their usual 10% selling fee. I disputed it with my credit card company, which they arrogantly ignored, and sent me another bill. So I called them (India). The wait was 28 minutes for a callback. They denied that they sent the email. They did send it because it links directly to my account to pay them or else. They claim it was a spoofed email and told me to send it to spoof@ebay.com.

If it was then who are the beneficiaries of the spoof? Follow the money and everything leads to EBAY. Their auto reply to sending it to them reads to go to "My Messages" for anything from them. This is incorrect as it should be "MY eBay, then MESSAGES" They never before warned about doing this. Their list only goes back to May 31. How convenient for them as their original emails were earlier in May. This is both greed and fraud. EBAY cannot be trusted and the corporate officers should serve hard time.

Back in May my old blender finally succumbed to planned obsolescence so I needed a new one. I'd once seen a Vitamix demo and really liked it, so I started my search there but settled on a Blendtec since it is more powerful, and I'm a guy. I found the model I wanted and a very good price on eBay for a new one. I ordered and paid. The next week I got an email telling me it was to arrive on June 13th. On June 14th I hadn't receive it so I contacted the seller who responded immediately that they would investigate and it could take up to 8 business days. After 10 days I tried again and reached out to eBay. This dragged on another two weeks until they closed my case saying it was delivered on June 8th and signed for.

The fact that I was 300 miles away with both my kids (with boarding passes to prove it) was apparently not relevant and I was told I needed to file a claim with UPS. UPS told me the sender is supposed to file the claim, but did look into it and found that it had not actually ever been delivered or signed for and it was lost. But, it was up to the seller still to file a claim. I got crickets from the seller and eBay told me "Oh, your case is closed. We found in favor of the seller and we can't reopen it." This was after I gave them the case # from UPS stating the package had been lost! Lots of calls and emails later, I finally got my refund and bought a blender from Amazon. It was $50 more, but I actually got it and felt comfortable that if I didn't, I would be taken care of without all the hassles. Bottom line, an eBay bargain isn't always a bargain and don't believe their hype about taking care of the customer.

All the new 'changes' eBay has made has been making it harder and harder for sellers to manage their businesses. Recently I have had 3 bad experiences with shady buyers, who eBay has 'catered' to at my expense and loss. All the buyers have to say now is that the item was damaged and not only do I have to refund 100% including shipping but they also get to KEEP THE ITEM. This is ridiculous as eBay requires them to provide a photo of the damage, the photo I saw was so obviously fake and photo-shopped. But GOOD ENOUGH FOR eBay!

I lost over $1000 in money I had to refund and another $1000 in loss of item. This caused my Paypal account to be negative, and they made my personal bank account negative. I have now received over $150 in NSF charges as well as my other payments are not going through because of the jam and I'm receiving more NSF charges from my bank. On top of all this, I'm not able to leave a negative feedback on the buyer's profile to warn others, as this is no longer an eBay seller feature, lol. Now I'm getting a massive fee tacked onto my now outstanding bill for cancelling my store subscription early. Thanks for SCREWING me eBay!! It's the same old BS runaround. You'll call PayPal. They'll tell you nothing's wrong, then you call EBay and they put the blame somewhere else. EBay is SUPER PARANOID and does not trust anyone, nor should you trust them! Buying items low priced around $5 to $15 for my online store. Oh they want you to take out a line of credit so they can hit you with 19% interest, but no seeing how you can't use your own PayPal account to make a simple $5 purchase! There is absolutely nothing wrong with our PayPal account, they have over $40k of transactions spanning 2 1/2 years without a single complaint. If you deal with a bad seller and eBay will not help - they never do - you can submit a complaint about the particular seller here: **. Ebay's "buyer protection" is a scam and covers nothing. I learned this firsthand when a rather expensive item was returned by the post office (their mistake) to the seller, who then manipulated the tracking information by removing the part that indicated that the item had been returned to her. Ebay does not check; they take the seller's word even after you submit the actual document. Ebay customer service advised me to "ask her nicely" for a refund - on an item that had been returned to her; that I did not receive. She was not required to do so by eBay and so declined to refund the money.

Suffice to say, eBay sellers know how to work the system and when you do not receive your item, eBay will side with them. Keep in mind that my seller kept the item in question AND my payment for said item. Ebay feedback is a scam. Ebay does not allow negative feedback on sellers and you therefore cannot rely on feedback to decide whether to trust a seller. The five-star review you see is probably helped along quite a bit by the 5,000 negative reviews that eBay removed. This works directly against the possibility of honest business transactions.

Keeping money for a sale when the customer did not receive the item is internet fraud. This is a crime. Report the specific seller and report eBay for their collaboration. Be brief, specific, and submit supporting documents. Avoid eBay at all costs. Close your account. Consumers have other options. Before you do this, though, submit a complaint. It may help you and it will potentially protect others.

I have a question about using my item or I want to send the seller a message (0); I didn’t receive my item (2); I need to return my item (1); I received an item that wasn't as described (1); Request to cancel this order (1). AND NONE OF THEM CHECKED! Well guess what, most noobs don’t know what the shucks going on ebay, so the pick I want return it:( Boohoo question. But wait, I as a seller offer NO ** Return. Why are they asking to return? In the best case “Is there anything wrong with item? No! So wtf? Uhhm uhhm I don’t like it. It’s not what I assume it will be. Oh, well may offer some partial refund makes you happy? Oh, ok sounds good." But when contacted ebay for those who actually want to return, they back the buyer 100%. I am like wait, wtf? I am a seller, I other sellers stop selling on ebay, then who’s gonna sell? Sales going down, right?

I had a case last month. They gave me 7 days to refund OR THEY WOULD AUTOMATICALLY REFUND THE MONEY! WTF? Lucky the buyer actually sent the item back after 30 days, which I AGAIN OFFER NO RETURN POLICY! HAHAHA :D Ebay is a ** Joke. So since ebay is a giant A.H. & will not assist the seller, I personally put this on very top of my sale page: If your feedback is less than 10: Contact me before buying any item from us! Otherwise your order will be Cancel & your Id will remain in Block list & Will be reported.

Due to too many new members causing too many problems I personally will cancel any sale under No circumstances & due to not reading this note your order WILL BE CANCELED because you diffidently don't understand what it means. Therefore you haven't read this page & will cancel because buyer has change their mind. REGARDLESS!!! Is it rude? I don’t give rats behind, but when I get a 0 feedback noob, I just do what I have to do. I encourage you sellers to do the same & don’t sell anything to noobs unless you approve it.

If it's not on the card they are working from then they cannot answer or try to bluff you into holding the line in a stalling procedure so you get fed up and hang up. My problem. I sold an item to a buyer in the U. S (I live and sell from the U. K). I shipped the item to a P.O. BOX address using Royal Mail. I then had a mail from the buyer saying the tracking number that was listed on the details at eBay was invalid. I sent a copy of the receipt as proof of posting to the buyer after he had opened a case with eBay for item not received. I also politely informed him that no Postal service provider will ship to any P.O. BOX address and give a signed for and tracked number which I thought strange.

As soon as the case opened I refunded the buyer his money back. A week later I then get a NEGATIVE feedback for failing to deliver the item to his address. I was being blamed for not delivering the item with the action of the feedback yet I did everything correctly as per eBay sellers policy (I had 100% feedback Trusted eBay seller and power seller status). Below is our letter to eBay Customer Support asking for appeal, attached is the answer from the eBay Customer Support Joy **. It looks like the appeal took 2 hours or less (from the time the message was received by Customer Support and the time they sent us the answer), which sounds like another automatic response.

Hello E-Bay Customer Support, we've been a seller on eBay for more than 10 years. It's been a good way for us to sell and make money. In February, I was taken to an emergency room with cardiac arrest and spent 10 days in the hospital. My wife could not watch our eBay store, could not maintain the inventory, and decided to cancel some orders when there was no inventory without realizing the consequences for future eBay store business. After returning home in March, there was a message on the dashboard of BELOW STANDARD performance and a limit to how many items we can list. We contacted eBay. Your representative was very nice, explained to us that if we wish to continue selling, sending orders on time, then our performance will improve. In the mean time, he increased the limit. So we listed more items.

At the same time, we decided to have 2 selling accounts with eBay: one for electronic parts and one for socks. Your representative told us on the phone that there is no problem having 2 stores and that these stores will be independent from each other, though they have the same PayPal account. Since March we've been selling in both accounts, sending orders on time and getting positive feedback from customers. To our surprise, on June 6 our listing was closed on both accounts. Your representative could not help us on the phone and suggested that we appeal by writing via e-mail.

We are asking that our listings be restored on both accounts and to give us enough of a limit to list, since socks come in a varieties of sizes and colors. We understand that eBay is a huge organization and a lot of decisions are made by computer programs. But any successful business has a human face and compassion. We are counting on your understanding. If you have any suggestions, or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Looking forward to your reply and hopefully to a successful mutually beneficial business together.

I am in agreement with all the other negative reviews about eBay's new policies which are hurting sellers. I have bought and sold on eBay for more than 15 years. I have always been a highly-rated seller until recently. The only problems I have encountered over the years is with the few consumers who refuse to take any responsibility on their part of the transaction. With eBay policies now, it's even worse letting consumers run rampant over sellers. I have had more bad episodes in the first 6 months of this year, then I have had in all the other years I have dealt with eBay.

Forcing small time sellers to absorb costs of returns, wasted time, bad feedback from scammers, promising one day handling, etc., etc.

Please beware from eBay... they sold their products on less price but they sell second hand and defective products... I purchase mobile phone from eBay and after some days when I go to Micromax service centre they tell me that "your mobile is 8 months old." My advice to all is don't purchase from eBay any product.

I am not only speaking from my own experience but for all my friends on the net and strangers contacting me about the eBay issue. I think this company needs to get buried for good. And for 5 reasons: 1) Their money back guarantee is a scam and can lure the one in a pickle to lose the opportunity if they get the wrong help from the supporters on eBay. I got lured to make the claim on another site. What they didn't tell me was that the claim is GLOBAL but the SUPPORT LOCAL. So I went and closed the claim on UK site and went to do the claim on the American site. But I have closed the claim. I tried to plea for help but once you do something wrong you will not get the "help" you desperately need to reopen the claim.

    2) Help to make the purchase go through. Sometimes you are allowed by the seller to bid on an item she advertised to sell to UK only. But I agreed to pay the extra postage if I would win the auction. So I did on many occasions. But the three last times I wanted to pay I couldn't even REQUEST a TOTAL from the seller. We had to use all kinds of tricks so I could pay the poor seller. I really don't know what the problem is on this site but I am no longer a fan of eBay anywhere.

    3) Get the product home. Well if I got through the hurdle of sending a total request, here comes next problem! Pitney Bowes comes into play. I will now have to pay two postages for one package. One from the seller to the central of Pitney Bowes in the country that I pay and... from that country to the pick-up office in my city. This one I pay too. So why can't the seller get the postage money? Well that's because eBay sends the seller details to send it within his/her own country. NOT MY ADDRESS!!! She sends it with a number that arrives to Pitney Bowes. They add a sticker with my address and to my pick-up office. Normally a package takes 3-5 days from UK to Sweden. But with the eBay way it can take over 10 days.

    4) Well you paid for the item but the seller is a hoax. I say thank God for PayPal! If it weren't for them I would be stiffed by both the scammer and eBay. The sellers account got taken away and I would normally be reimbursed the money for the bogus seller. If it weren't for the BOGUS EBAY SUPPORT giving me lies;

    5) The simplest step of them all - closing the account. That would normally take 1-3 days. NO with eBay this can take up to 60 days. I read daily on eBay on social media. B.t.w. eBay have banned me from their social media to make comments. Well here I am making it clear to everyone that eBay is not to be taken seriously. They are scam artists and should have their company closed down. For making customers a living hell trading on their sites. I demand that their company to get closed down.

Thank you for reading this. I hope I helped out someone from making their biggest mistake to open an account on eBay. At least I am taking an active part to help out my fellow man & woman. Take care people & give trust to those who deserves your trust!

I ordered two items from eBay.in. They charged my card successfully. Then they sent a notice that my purchase was rejected. When I called they refused to help me. They gave me the runaround. They repeated the same thing over and over. They showed no intelligence, no discrimination ability and were not interested in doing anything. If you place a charge on a card and it is successful, they should accept your purchase and mail that purchase to you. When I asked for a manager they refused to give me one. Also when finally one eBay service person did give me a number they gave me a wrong number so I wasn't able to call a manager. These people are either ill trained or work only for the money and do not care if they help people. Personally I will not try to buy from eBay.in again. eBay.au and eBay.usa are fine and very helpful. But India eBay.in needs an entire overhaul of their business. I will tell everyone not to buy from them.

For this transaction I give no stars. Seller accepted the offer and I paid for the cello. After 3 weeks contacted the seller if he had chance to post it. No response. After a week emailed again. No response from the seller. Called eBay and was told that I am no longer covered by "money back guarantee". So you pay, wait 3 weeks and seller is not responding and eBay is backing out. Worthless to say that they got paid by the seller. Seller has the item and the money. Great business!

Me and my husband was blocked from selling on eBay for no reason. We didn't sell at the same time. First I started selling then I was blocked from their site without warning or a reason why. Then my husband started selling. He was doing good there then they did the same thing to him. I called them and talked to a lot of people over there. They couldn't find a reason either. This happen in 2012. Is it too late for me to sue them?

I wear size 4 shoes which is extremely hard to find but when I found on eBay so many size 4 shoes, I was so delighted. The prices were so reasonable, I was doubly pleased. When the shoes started arriving, I was so disappointed, they were clearly a full size bigger. Their size 4 is clearly a size 5. All the shoes were from China. The shoe prices ranged from $24 to $68. To ship them back, cost $22.50. They would not return shipping fee. If you have to get a tracking number, that is an added cost of $14 if shipped USPS.

UPS is even more expensive! You must make sure that you don't get any merchandise from out of the USA. You will be responsible for all return shipping whether for an exchange or return. eBay does extensive business with China. As an FYI, dresses from China is a size smaller than USA sizes. I wear a size 10 but their size M, which should fit a USA size 10 per their size chart, DOES NOT. A size 10 is a large in Chinese sizes. Forget buying any dresses from China if you are SIZE 12 OR LARGER! None of this explained on eBay. So buyer BEWARE!

I paid over the eBay website for a used cell phone over eBay and at the time of the order my shipping address was included. Item: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 32GB SM-N910T GSM Unlocked 4G LTE Android Smartphone (**). The eBay seller called: CellFee shipped the item with the wrong address on the package and was returned by USPS back to the shipper as: "Undelivered as Addressed". I submitted to eBay and the seller proof of the returned from the USPS website and I never got my money back and eBay denied my appeal. This is a clear robbery situation. The seller got the item back, and they didn't returned my money, so I paid for something I did not received. Seller and eBay are clearly conspiring to steal my money. I am going to start letting the internet community about the way I got my money stolen by eBay and this Seller.

I sent proof to eBay that my correct shipping address was included right from the beginning of the purchased transaction and they didn't return my money. Their logo about "Money Back guarantee" is just a logo as they don't honor their promises to Customers. I want my money back and I will never will even try to get an item from eBay and make sure all my friends and family are aware of the risk they take to lose their money by buying at eBay.

Beware of eBay seller cell-plaza, they do not honour the warranties that they state in their item description. I bought a Nexus 5 phone from them, whose GPS unit stopped working after a few months. When I contacted the seller, they said that to replace it, I would have to pay for 40% of the cost of the phone in addition to paying for shipping. They had stated on their item description that they would provide a full 1 year warranty on the phone, which they have lied about. Just posting this so that other buyers will not fall into their trap.
