I enjoy shopping from eBay, the process is simple and easy. They also have more products than Amazon. I can get books there I can't find on Amazon. I buy books from other countries you just can't find else. I also enjoy using gift cards that I work hard for. Though a lot of the items are overpriced but that's not really eBay's fault. When it comes to shopping I've never had a problem but I've tried selling and they only allow you 10 items till you receive good reviews.

I usually have a good experience with eBay. I can sell what I want including stuff I don’t need, find other cool items that are hard to find elsewhere and buy stuff cheaper. There are a lot of interesting items that can be found on ebay and anyone can post there anything that they want. I love that I can usually find whatever I need to buy. The main thing that I dislike about ebay are the fees they charge sellers are just too high. I also don't like how they side with buyers in disagreements and I hate that one cannot leave feedback for buyers.

I have purchased many things off of this site and it is normally my first port of call. I like that you can find anything on the site, if not brand new then used. I also like the bidding process. Makes it very exciting and it is a great way to buy something. Also, you can find seller from many parts of the world. Can be pretty disappointing when you lose out on an item though. I just like the whole process. Although there are many occasions when the shipping fee can really inflate the price of the item you are bidding on and sometimes even more expensive than the item itself which surely cannot be a good thing. Other than that I love the site.

I am a buyer and a seller. The seller's fees are exorbitant. Buyers may be paying a higher price for items so that sellers can cover fees. Sometimes it takes a while for the seller to ship items. You are usually paying a lot for shipping even if it is built into the price. There are a large number of sellers to choose from. You can read many descriptions of the product that you are seeking and compare the pictures in each of the listings and ask questions of the sellers. You usually get a quick response. eBay protects buyers from bad sellers and helps buyers if items need to be returned. The arbitration process for disputed purchases is simple.

I found several items that I was looking for when I started shopping for Christmas. I generally shop locally or at Amazon and was surprised by what I found. My search brought up several new artist that I had not yet considered for gifts including stuffed animals. I now watch for these items throughout the year so I can find the best specimen. I can find matches to my old china that was gifted to me years ago and that items ordered were in excellent condition. I also like the ratings of the seller and know what I receive is what is shown.

eBay is a very simple service to use. Setting up an account takes mins like a kid could do it. It's a great service. You just search the product you're looking for and bid for it or sometimes buy it now. It takes most currencies and about 90% of the time you're left with exactly what you want. The only thing I don't like about eBay is the abundance of scammers. Around 10% of the time you don't get the stuff you paid for.

EBay is a cool website and I love the variety of products. There are many different items and the sellers are mostly friendly and helpful in product info. Also, the purchasing process is easy and there is a variety of shipping options. I also love the payment options. The payment process is okay though I wasn't able to send money orders at 1 time. While the customer service is okay, it can take a while to get a response. That would be ok if I didn't need the item right away. Furthermore, sometimes the sellers like to rip off customers by not sending the item even though they said they sent it.

My overall experience using eBay.com was great. They have a wide variety of things to choose from with great sellers, low prices, and speedy shipping. EBay is always my go to when it comes to online shopping. Specific things I like about eBay.com Include the ease and overall aesthetics of the website, it is very easy to use and you can easily find things you want. Another thing I like about the website is that it makes it easy for you to contact the seller if you have any problems or any questions and they get back to you quickly. I dislike the fact that some people have learned to get around the policies put into place to protect buyers and scam buyers which puts me on edge when buying from sellers I have not interacted with previously, otherwise the website is fantastic.

eBay has a large selection of many different products. Some of these items are reasonably priced while some are overpriced for what they are worth. There are hard to find items always being sold there and out of circulation items for sale. I like that you have the choice to either bid on an item you are interested in, or you can choose to just buy it without bidding. On the other hand, I dislike how greedy people can be when selling their items. They sell things for way above their value. I also do not like those people that try to sell junk and crap.

Shopping with eBay is a breeze and I like everything about them. Great experience. I shop there quite often to find things I normally can't find anywhere else and at cheaper prices. A great variety with fast shipping too. Fun and easy to use. Cart is easy to fill and I can find exactly what I want and more. Sellers are helpful and working with them is great. Would shop there again.

There are a lot of products to choose from for reasonable prices. It's sometimes hard to choose what you want but you will find what you're looking for. Then you will buy more so be careful. But I like how easy it is to check out with PayPal and with the dealer you're purchasing from. You just have to be sure that the people you are buying from will send your product. You don't want to be scammed but trust eBay. They have your back when it comes to scammers.

The ease of using the eBay.com site, selection of goods and ease of purchasing with prompt delivery service is my ideal superior online shopping experience. I like the variety of items being sold for anything one can image obtaining for sale. Also, I like that items are usually cheaper than what can be, quick delivery and convenience of shopping from home. There are also some things that I dislike about shopping at eBay.com which would be some traditional carriers don't deliver at night or at weekends. Browsing around a wide range of shops can take as long as a traditional shopping visit at a regular brick and mortar outlet.

I have made several purchases on eBay and I have really gone very well. They are responsible, and most of the time the shipments are very fast. They have a good reputation and are very attentive to all their users. They’re good and everything was perfect. They have a few forms of payment though and one time, I have ordered a product and got something that was not what I ordered.

eBay is a great site to find anything that you want and you can either buy or bid on the items that you want; anything can be searched, thus you can buy it even with odd items. It's a great place to shop. They have a variety of products being sell. Due to site has many sellers, some items you can buy at very best prices. But there are some sellers charging inflated shipping charges to make up for the low price on items are being sold; sometimes items received take more than 2 weeks to deliver.

I like that eBay is an open and friendly site with a good range of products both new and used and some that can be very difficult to locate through the usual channels, some products can be very rare and no longer available in the usual stores. Being available all day every day is a big bonus as I am able to drop into the site at a time that suits me. I like that there's no sales pressure to purchase items, but the last few seconds rush on the auction site can result in a missed purchase that can be very disappointing especially if the item is hard to find or of a limited availability.

It has been easy to find products using their search options. There are many deals and having a Buy it Now makes it very easy to buy what I am looking for. It is a fast process to make payments and their customer service is responsive and effective. Their listings are also very user-friendly. Can find hard to find items. Easy to pay for items and good refund and purchase protection as well. They have always been problem free transactions. Their customer service time frame has been very timely as well. Whenever there was an issue they took care of it right away. Have not had any problems with them that was not resolved quickly and efficiently. Overall it has been a very positive experience.

I like the variety of different things you can order and there are many different clothing brands that you can shop for all just on one site. Also, I like when most users do feedback so that it can help me feel secure with my purchase. eBay was a cool website until I was shopping and decided to order a game. The game end up never coming and the person wouldn't give me my money back so basically I was scammed out of $12. There are many scams on that website which makes me not want to use it that much anymore. I don't care how cheap the product is I still don't like to be scammed out of my money.

The prices are usually good, and the selection is vast--you can almost always find at least one of whatever item you're searching for which is handy. I like the feedback available on all sellers, and I like the "buy it now" feature. But, I'm not crazy about the option format and bidding. I especially don't like when someone snaps it up last minute when it looks like you're going to win.

I like shopping at eBay. Sometimes you get good bargains for good products. But overall I would not say that it is better than Amazon. At Amazon, you don't have to bid, but a lot of stuff on eBay makes you bid. This makes it harder to get what you actually want sometimes. Overall though it is a good store, and has been around for a while and seems to be working. In addition, I like that you can get things as cheap as you can. I also like that when you bid on things winning, it always makes you feel like you got the best deal possible. I think it has a nice and unique design and is worth shopping at, especially if you enjoy this kind of bid shopping. You can also buy things off private dealers, which is sometimes even better. However, I don't like that you can get robbed or screwed over. I find it unfair and quite unprofessional. Nonetheless, they do an okay job of making sure things like that do not happen sometimes.

You can find almost anything on this site from something that is rare and hard to something up to date and new that is out now. It is also easy to search for your items. But they have useless customer service as they could not help me when I was being harassed for leaving negative feedback. They literally just let him keep messaging and harassing me, which I was concerned. eBay needs better safety measures to protect us from harassment on the site as I had recently experienced from a psycho member. I wish they banned him from the site rather than allowing him to continue as normal.

I like that eBay offers a wide variety of products that would be difficult to find in stores or elsewhere. The site also has huge brand recognition, so it's easy to find others who've used it if you run into difficulty. However, I would like more background information on the seller and the product's history sometimes and also bidding can sometimes get out of hand and prices are run up higher than the product is worth so it can be a stressful experience. It was also difficult to find the products that I wanted and the site was somewhat confusing to navigate, but overall I was satisfied. I was able to find a product that wasn't available to me in stores, so it was worth the hassle of figuring out how to use the website.

I have been very happy with all the purchases on eBay. Great place to shop. It is easy to contact the seller for questions and all the vendors I have dealt with have responded quickly and have sent out the items as advertised. It is EASY TO CHECKOUT. There is too much commercial selling though. There are too many items that are for sale that cost more than in the store and have hefty shipping prices.

eBay can be fun because you get good deals but you have to make sure you're online when an auction ends. I like that because it makes buying exciting but I'm sad if I lose or forget. Once I figured out the eBay website, it was pretty easy to use. The big challenge is to sort the categories to get to your item. Seems to have a selection of prices and sellers. Like the guaranteed. I also like the auction style and ability to find hard to find items. It is my go to place to find hard to find items. I like you can find disco items. Also, I like the rating of sellers. Helps to avoid scammers. However, sometimes it is hard to find what I want and to sort through the site to find my items... color, style, type of item. They could have better filters. And I wish better "vetting" on sellers sometimes. Price point of guarantee sale.

I like the amount of products being sold and able to choose from many sellers and prices. All backed by a guarantee which gives a sense of ease when shopping. Trying to find out whether a person selling is backing his product and is a reliable source can be hard to verify at times. With the seller being very efficient it was quick and convenient. Even the updates to the site have made it very easy to navigate. Overall a good shopping experience.

Anything made by man eventually winds up on eBay. It is fun to see what is listed there. I like the selection and the easiness of buying and paying for items. I also like looking at new ways to do things by buying new products. The feedback system works well and with eBay, things flow smoothly. But the feedback is not always reliable and you can be stuck by a seller going suddenly rogue. There are also a lot of counterfeit items on eBay. I try my best to search other sites to see if they are real. I get excellent results and good prices but have learned the hard way what not to do.

I find eBay a fast, convenient and reliable way to find hard-to-find products, or to find deals on used items. It is a great way to buy used clothing and purses. I have always received the item as ordered and the items have all been in good working order. Shipping is usually faster than listed and the items are shipped so they arrive in good condition. But I like touching things before I buy. One time I bought a blouse and did not notice in the description that the sleeves were shortened so I bought a blouse I can't wear. My fault but if I had seen it before I bought it I would have noticed.

I have been a buyer and seller on eBay since about 1998. The experience was good but not as good as it used to be. There are many sellers to choose from when buying what I want and there is both old and new stuff to be able to choose from. There are also sellers that are willing to work with you as far as combining shipments. But, the selection on eBay used to be much better. Lately, the site seems to be filled with "dollar store" junk. Also, paper payments are discouraged and sellers are not allowed to advertise that they will take paper payments. I dislike that PayPal is the main payment processor and that niche sellers and sellers of vintage items have been pretty much run off to other sites as well. I used to be able to check eBay when I wanted something... Now I have to check several sites to find it as eBay seller policies are not friendly.

I have 2 major problems with eBay. First when you search for something and sort the results by price, the results are now worthless. Sellers now combine a $1.00 or so junk item with the real item costing say hundreds of dollars so they will show up on top of the list. So you cannot get a real price comparison. I searched for an item tonight that had thousands of listings under $1.00 at the top of the results and those are either not available or not the listed item because the sellers are using this trick.

I like that you can either have an option of buying the item now or bidding it as well and they also have an option of making a best offer which is fun to try to get an item cheaper. I like that I can find hard to find items, crafts, makeup, garden accessories, cookware. Easy to look at variety, can do multiple searches. You can have automatic searches look for items so you are constantly seeking without using your own time which is valuable. Also, using PayPal is easy and don't have to worry about credit card fraud and hacking. Shipping is usually reasonable but some shipping is high. Some sellers have ridiculous prices. It's also easy to miss out to people who come in and snipe a bid at the last minute which is unfair.

Ebay is the best website in the entire universe. It was a very useful website that can almost always guarantee to have exactly what I am looking for at a very affordable price. I have never been let down using eBay that I can recall. I like that the search engine is very easy to use to type in anything you could possibly be looking for. Varieties change from sports to cooking utensils. Though sometimes, bidding can get to be a bit of a nuisance while using the website in controlling the bids and monitoring everything to make sure all goes according to plan.

EBay is an auction site so I could possibly get an item for pennies on the dollar. But, I have to wait it out when I order something that I can't get with the buy it now option. A couple of times I've been priced out of an item and I've also lost an item or two in the auction process when someone came in at the last instant and made a higher bid than mine. Other than that, the many times I've used it has been no problem. The product selection was great and change daily, the whole process was seamless and secure and the products always have arrived on time and many times they arrive early. Also, they accept Paypal as a means of payment.

I've purchased a lot of great and unique things on eBay. I also get most things for a really great price. I like that there's all sorts of variety to choose from and purchase. Sometimes sellers have unique, one of a kind things you can't get anywhere else. There's also an option for me to sell things if I wanted to. However, some sellers are not honest and sell things that smell bad like cigarette smoke. I wish some sellers were more honest.

You can find almost anything on eBay and the prices are usually better than other sites. I was able to find an item for my grandmother to finish a set of dishes that were in the family for many years. The only issue I had with eBay in the past was with the quality of the products not matching the description. You have to take the buyers description as truth and that is not always the case. I've had to send items back before. Also, I dislike the fact that there is a chance that the items you order will not be the quality that the website states. Since items are coming from individual sellers, you never know what you are really getting.

I have always had a successful experience. Because this service is easy, simple and streamlined. The things that I like the most about eBay is the access to different vendors, give you more chances of finding what you're looking for, you can earn eBay bucks sometimes if there’s a promotion happening, and the free shipping offered by most sellers. The service is pretty secure as you pay through PayPal so that adds to the level of trust I have in shopping on this website. I've had mostly positive experiences but last year for the first time I bought an item which was advertised as authentic but I realized that it was fake after the return period ended and reported the seller on eBay but that same seller is still allowed to sell on eBay and misrepresent his products.

eBay really seems to have everything. I have never done a search that didn't give me results. I can usually find pretty good pricing as well. On the other hand, the search filters are difficult to use quickly and the search feature is a bit too generalized. I find it a bit too big to find everything I'm looking for. I'd love to be able to specify exactly what I want without having to use all those filters. Each click means a wait for the page to reload. It would be nice to be able to set all the filters at once.

Love the service. Takes PayPal which makes it easier to pay for merchandise and is much more safer when paying. I love the customer service very much and hope they continue the same service. Easy to navigate the websites and look for the merchandise you are interested in when shopping online. It is a website that has a lot and big selection of products that you are looking for and I never have ever had any problems with merchandise that I ordered in the past and think if there was problems that the customer service from eBay would rectify the problem immediately and get my thanks. I have never received any merchandise that I disliked and always have had good service in the past from eBay.

eBay has a great selection, low prices, easy to check ratings for sellers and great policies for buyers. They do have some great buyer protections in place. eBay has a great and easy payment system too. With eBay, it is so easy to buy through PayPal. Set it up, go. You never have to enter your info again, just click and pay. But, sometimes it feels like eBay is a little too buyer friendly and the seller gets the short end of the stick through no fault of their own. As a buyer, you have to read the listings, you can skip stuff and be wrong!

Overall experience with eBay was very positive. I got the product I was looking for at a very good price. I have bought many items from eBay, from books and dishes, to automobiles. The sellers are honest and eBay stands behind their name and reputation. They have everything available that you can think of, and you can get a much better price than anywhere else, or wait, and try again later. Sometimes, they have items you can just buy or wait and get them on auction. It creates a great satisfaction to win an auction for a great price. However, I dislike the high competition for products, it takes more time to buy from them to get the best price. There are times when you will be disappointed with not winning an auction and thus not getting the object you seek to buy, but that is the chance and opportunity you take.

The service from eBay was very good. I received my order in a reasonable amount of time and the shipping on said order was free of charge which was awesome. I highly like the ease of use and how popular it is so that I can find any item I may be looking for. I just typed what I wanted and many results came up easily. They also have other offers to compare it to because more offers means one will be cheaper saving money. But perhaps there should be a way to better organize search results so that you don't have to scroll through so many pages to find which item you actually want.

At times, eBay can be fun. Other times, it can be overwhelming. There are too many items which makes it difficult selecting the right product with the right quality and it takes a while to find what you need that is a trusted vendor. Comparing items to make sure you select the right one is a lot of work. Not all dealers are honest and trustworthy too. Not all products are in great condition, and it can be concerning finding the ones that are in great condition. Also, shipping can be expensive. It was a lot easier years ago than it is today.

I was looking for a DVD of Orange Is the New Black that had not come out yet. I looked on eBay and was happy to find the movie. It was great being able to find what I was looking for. It was a good experience. Overall, eBay is a great online site in which you are able to go on to and find anything that you are looking for. You also have many options to choose from. I like that you can either bid on an item, or you can buy it outright.

eBay is easy to use and quite fun. A very enjoyable experience with many areas that are appealing and you can actually spent unlimited hours just browsing the many selections of interest. It has wide variety of products available for almost any price range that suits you. The prices are generally good and most times offer free or discounted shipping. A truly different and unique shopping experience for everybody. But there's almost too many different product categories to use. Despite this eBay is a great site for any product or service you might be interested in.

I found what I wanted in eBay at my price and I felt secure using PayPal. I even got a refund without asking because eBay felt the seller was a fraud. It was a first time seller and I got to keep the merchandise. They said he just wanted card numbers. I also find eBay a good resource for estate sales. Sometimes you can find the same thing a lot cheaper and sometimes it is a great price. I have bought a few things at estate sales for less than five dollars that sell on eBay for five hundred and all similar sell for that. You can find anything and get an idea what some of your things could sell for you can choose new or used, and there is a seller review and there is usually a good description. But putting something up for sale is complicated and time consuming and sometimes trying to find some things give you other non related items.

Ebay has a very large selection to choose from and I like how eBay will make similar suggestions to you as well. Then they will send email with other products later on. But shipping prices can be large and you have to factor that into the price before making your decision. You have to have a bit of trust in the individuals that what is advertised is in the same quality as shown when you get it and sometimes pictures are not clear.

I have always been able to find things I was looking for at eBay. I found things I could not find anywhere and a lot of different stuff I did not know I wanted either. Finding stuff online is a lot of fun. I like that I can search through the same product from different people or companies for better prices. I even was able to find things that were lightly used that were for sale also. I like anything that I feel like I got a great deal on. I have no problems with eBay but I have sisters who were not happy because the things they bought did not look like the things they ordered when they saw them online.

Buyer lies about an item being defective... Says it's a lie. And eBay still gives them a full refund. Reps lie on the phone and waste over 45 minutes of my time to just tell me they side with the liar.

A lot of stores don't carry the amount of items that eBay has all on one site! However, I hate shipping costs when shopping online. A lot of places have outrageous prices for shopping. But to get the products that you can't normally find you have to pay the shipping.

eBay has fast delivery, good shipping rates and a variety of items so you can decide when and if you want to buy something and if there is a specific vendor. I like their competitive prices and you can review other people experiences and problem with a vendor, and sometimes the shipping can take or product or item or if the seller is less than honest. But I don't like defective items and when they are misleading in the items to make you believe you are getting something you're not sometimes. Also, I don't like when you're not sure what the difference is between items. But overall a good experience.

I enjoy the process and finding what I want to bid on or buy direct. Place the order and then it is usually shipped quickly. The only thing I do not like about eBay is if you get a seller that is dishonest about their product or do not ship as stated. Then you have to get eBay involved in the dispute to get it settled.

I like how eBay was back in the old days but there was a victim of its own success and there are way more sites than there used to be. It was back in the early 2000's when there was a bigger selection for it. It was the heyday of ebay.com. It was a great experience but it isn't as great now. I don't like how it's set up now compared to when it first was started. I am not going to be using it anymore. I realized that it wasn't as great as it once was.

The eBay bucks for purchases are fantastic and the search engine for items is great. I like the variety of items available, the free shipping, the good customer service, and the payment options available. The seller rating system and comments are great tool. I have over 200 purchases. I had a bad experience from only one seller I would not praise or rank highly and customer service resolved it. Overall, my experience with eBay has been fantastic.

The customer service is second to none and I would recommend them for almost any purchase that you have in mind. I like that they guarantee your purchase and if you are selling something they have a lot of ways to keep track of all aspects of the process and also they make it easy to relist an item that is similar to the previous one. Sometimes it takes a while to get the product and if you are selling it takes a while to get credit because they are waiting on the buyer to evaluate it and make sure that it is in good condition and what they expected to receive.

Most purchases are tax free if purchased from out of state sellers. Shipping is often included and if not the charges are stated clearly and upfront. However it is difficult to search for certain items because the results also include accessories and peripheral items which are hard to filter out to just include the main item you wish to purchase.

On March 3 I bought a Xiaomi Yi Camera on eBay to a seller from China. When the item finally arrived to my home, the thing was DEAD. The Chinese quality control sucks because the thing didn't even worked just once! From that moment on the seller keep telling me useless instructions to try to revive the camera, but nothing works. This happened for weeks. Eventually I make the complaint on eBay, but (after maaany support) they finally told me that there was nothing to be done because the eBay guarantee lasts only for 30 days. However sometimes the auctions end sooner than I thought and sometimes the sellers are unreliable. I like the payment options though and the overall experience is wonderful.

My overall experience is usually pretty good with eBay. The products and customer service is always very good. Shipping is pretty fast as well not to mention handled with care until it arrives to me. However, the length of some of the auctions seems to be long and when you are getting a product that is coming from either China or some other country across the way it takes a very long time for the item to get here. But it's a great place to shop.

EBay Resolution Centre is a waste of time. They will always take seller's side. I bought a rug which was not delivered when specified which was then returned to sender. This was all shown in tracking information. The seller refused a full refund and wanted to hold delivery cost even though it was offered as free delivery tool case to eBay who closed it in seller's favour. I am now out of pocket by 24.00. Seller is laughing his boots off (land of rugs). Warning -- Never get caught by this as you get no support from eBay as if they find in buyer's favour they get no fees!!!

I like eBay's ability to bid on things from around the world. Stuff that you don't want to buy in public or that you can't find locally where you live or usually go. However, I don't like paying for a membership and their refund policy. There should be a mandatory refund policy when someone downright lies to you about the item you are buying like when I bought a textbook for college wherein they sent me the study book instead and I never got a refund. It had the exact same ISPN but was NOT the actual textbook as it appeared to be by the sneaky seller. I even emailed and personally asked if it was the book and she lied. So I haven't had anything to do with the company since then.

I want to know that what I get there that I see in the picture, is what I am actually getting and once I did not get what was in the picture ad, it tied me up for awhile but it is a good experience for me to know what is what I need at eBay.com. I need to know what is right for me and what is good there and it is a good thing for me to know what I am getting when I buy from these companies online.

eBay is a good way to find things that can't be found in stores like a missing piece to something, old car parts, things that have been discontinued and collectibles. I like eBay. It has a wide variety of items. It is fun to buy and bid on things and you can sell things too. Sometimes you have to bid and you lose and you have to wait for the bidding to end. I worry about be ripped off or it wouldn't be as advertised and that it is a scam and my Money would be returned but so far everyone has been honest. I have received everything and it has come when expected. I will use eBay again.

It's easy to find certain products and easy to pay. You can find products that are uncommon and sometimes for a great price. There is also reviews on sellers to have safer purchases and more reliability. I love that you can use PayPal for a safer payment option. But sometimes you get bad sellers with bad product that does not fit the description or right condition. And sometimes those sellers make it hard to get your money back or too hard to even exchange.

I loved eBay. They did a great job of helping and it was set up easy so you could buy stuff offline. I loved that it was easy to navigate around the site and you could easily do a word search and find the product. I also like all of the choices on the site. But I wish that eBay would say exactly how much shipping will cost. And they should do a better job of taking picture of the clothing item and to have trackers on every package. But other than that, eBay was extremely run well.

Also, those sellers who do actually allow refunds will charge a hefty restocking fee or make you jump through a lot of hoops just to return something that didn't work out. Another issue is that a large amount of sellers are based in China, and when they ship overseas it can take a very long time for your orders to arrive. Another thing I dislike is the look of the site itself. It can feel very busy/clunky at times.

Never purchase any item from eBay. The courier service they use is Indian post, which is worst in delivering any product. They does not give any email or contact the buyer. For services like Flipkart and Amazon, just click on the return tab and the delivery men comes and takes and fast refund. Which is much better way of dealing to have a courier service of own.

I always find something I need on eBay whether it be an outdated item or something that I can currently get elsewhere. And there is always someone selling something that you can't find elsewhere. For example I needed more pieces to my flatware set and could not find it in any store. I even checked with the manufacturer and they did not have it. I found those pieces on eBay for a better price than a replacement company. On the other hand, I find that there are a lot of imitation products out there. You have to read the descriptions very carefully before purchasing. I also dislike that eBay used to be strictly auctions which made it fun. Now there are too many eBay stores.

Ebay is easy to use, reliable and most of the time they stand behind their purchases. Most vendors are responsible and courteous although some overstate the quality of the sale items and distort the quality with false claims. Also, there are a lot of bad vendors, bad buyers and too many hoops to jump through to fix a problem almost to the point of dislike. It seems like one problem leads to many more and they jack you around a lot. Overall it was a good experience except that I had to wait a long time to receive my order and in one case I never did receive it. It also took way too long to get my money back and the credit to come through to my account.

GREAT IF YOU ARE A BUYER, BAD FOR A SELLER. I have had both good and bad experiences buying on eBay and it depends on the seller. Some sellers are better than others while some are just terrible. I like that they are rated and that gives an idea of whether or not they are reliable. I also like the wide variety of items you can find on eBay and you can find really good deals. You can use support to help you if a sale went bad. Most of the time you will get your money back, it’s called buyer protection and also you can rate your experience. However, I was a seller on eBay and got ripped off by a few customers and now I can’t sell on there anymore. Also, if you are a seller on eBay, you have to pay quite high seller fees.

On the morning of April 13th, 2017, I put up an ad to sell an antique jade necklace in an antique box that was of Chinese royalty about 100 years ago. On eBay's own template ad it reads right up front: "No returns. No refunds." Within an hour of publishing ad, eBay emailed me to say: "It sold. It's been paid for. Ship now!" I checked my PayPal account and sure enough the funds were immediately transferred over to me. The next morning by about 10 AM I shipped it to the buyer "ferrari1006" and entered tracking number. At the same time (then unbeknownst to me), the buyer cancelled the sale, doing a charge-back... Leaving my account in a deficit... 3 days before they even received what they bought! Then they claimed it was not what the picture showed. I had included "to be nice" another "gift-bonus" necklace that needed some re-stringing since it was very old, and I stated that in the ad.

Several years ago I sold a used boat engine on eBay under a consignment account as a listed eBay reseller - the crooked buyer filed a "not as described" complaint and had UPS do a call tag to return it - it came back missing major parts and with damaged parts (swapped out by buyer). eBay immediately REFUNDED over $1,800 to the fraudulent buyer and demanded I reimburse THEM. No attempt was made to investigate the issue and no attention was paid to my 3,000+ positive feedback (100% positive) ratings. They later suspended my main business account (3+ years later), a business associate's account, my wife's account and my son's account - even though none of them were even involved. Total lack of customer service to sellers and far too much outsourcing to third world country customer service reps - going downhill faster each year.

Called eBay to get help with a purchase of a seller that I was having an issue with. They will not work with me regarding a defective purchase. Please do not buy from them. They are not willing to help the customer!!

I bought a porcelain doll that I saw on eBay. The purchasing was so much more easier than I expected. Customer Service was great to work with. I like the customer service and the response time of getting item. But I dislike having to wait to see if you've won the bid and making sure everything is exactly like it is suppose to be and making sure that you won the bid and when it is going to be shipped. But you can keep in touch with the website to see if you've won the bid and what the item sold for. I would recommend.

I had very good experiences when I shopped on eBay. They have a very big selection of products and I can find exactly what I am looking for. Also, I can buy what I am looking for much less than they sell it for at other places. But sometimes, you need to bid and sometimes you don't get the product that you want.

There were several choices and price range for the product I eventually purchased on eBay.com. It was a very easy transaction and easy to communicate with the seller. I like being able to find several options and several price ranges for the products I intend to purchase. The option to search by quickest arrive to the option to buy it now is a great selling point. If the buy it now option is not available, the fact of 'playing games' to bid on an item sometimes becomes frustrating. At that point it's easier to purchase somewhere else than wait for another item to become available.
