I had an issue with a food item I had purchased that I believe caused certain medical issues. I submitted photos of the food product that was very moldy, and was almost immediately contacted by the company whose name was on the product. The company responded very quickly to my correspondence with them, and very quickly resolved the issue to my satisfaction. I have ConsumerAffairs to thank for this in large part, and appreciate their service very much. They made a stressful situation more bearable, and also now I feel made whole again after what I went through. I highly recommend using ConsumerAffairs if you have any issues with products or merchants!

I recently wrote a complaint against eBay and a seller that used a loophole in eBay's policies to get away with dishonest practices... Consumeraffairs.com published my complaint and included a picture of a teddy bear with flowers to my complaint that was not a picture that I attached to my complaint. How pathetic are you people to mix up complaints and pictures that don't go together... This just goes to show that you are no better than the original company and seller that I wrote my complaint about!!! GOOD JOB Consumeraffairs.com, you screwed up!!!

I had a less-than-stellar experience with an unnamed alarm monitoring company, so I got on the internet and found that persons who submitted poor reviews on the Consumer Affairs website seemed to have a much higher percentage of resolution with the offending company than posting poor reviews elsewhere. Apparently CA holds some clout in the business world. Once I had posted my review, the day it posted (after moderation), unnamed company contacted me to try and offer a semblance of resolution, which I accepted. Without the reputation of Consumer Affairs I would have been barking into the wind and my distaste would have fallen on mostly deaf ears. But with them in my corner, I had more clout than I realized, and a resolution was swift and acceptable. So thank you, Consumer Affairs, for helping to keep companies in check!

I am very appreciative of companies like ConsumerAffairs.com. I like having the power to be able to review companies you have dealings with. I think it causes those companies to think twice about their customer service when they know that a consumer can go on a website like this one and rate the service they received. I feel that their review process is very fair and they really try to make sure that the experiences that were reviewed are honest and true. I like that you can add pictures or receipts to prove what you received and the price you paid for it. I have found this very helpful, especially when leaving a complaint on the website about a business because you can prove to them that you paid what you said you paid.
There is no room for the business to say you're not telling the truth because you have your receipts. Some people may feel it to be a waste of time to review companies that prove excellent or poor service but I feel it puts the power into the hands of the consumer, which is where it belongs. I also feel that ConsumerAffairs is a name people know and trust. So when they are looking to do business with a company, many times they will look for reviews on that company first. I like knowing that I have the opportunity to provide other members of the public with accurate reviews of my experiences at local businesses so they can avoid the pitfalls of dealing with businesses that provide poor customer service. It makes me feel like I have a real impact in the eyes of businesses and consumers.
We hope to continue being your platform of choice for both reviews & issue resolution.

I would read the consumer reports! Except the webpage consumer affairs will not tell the actual happenings and the information needed to keep others from having the same thing happen. You can bet your ass they won't print it if the information only happens to one person. It reminds me of the towns in USA. There is more than one that have bad and dangerous intersections. However up to 20 people have to die before they install a $10,000.00 light. Why carry $50,000.00 life insurance if you aren't worth $10,000.00. That is the way this website is. You Consumer Affairs do not allow someone to respond to the retailer. I have brought up an honest problem and once the retailer responded I was not able to do the same. You allow them to get in the last word in and that is what your viewers get to see. I came to your site numerous times to get honest reviews but now wonder how many times you stifle reviewers. I am sure this too will go to review and then be denied as have my other request.
What is really upsetting is I have asked numerous times to explain why my other reviews have not been published but NOTHING! I really do not care whether you post or not but you have indeed lost a consumer and I will no longer use your site or media to make decision on products or services as I believe you do not tell the entire story. And now I will go to other forums to express my disappointment in your ability to allow the CONSUMER to be heard. I'm certainly accurate and fair in everything I do. I reviewed Lifemates and was prompted to look at my "review" with a huge # of views. Turns out it's bogus, all bogus at Consumer Reviews. I was approached by an executive at Lifemates and now my review is completely BLANKED out with some message about facts not being verified - well just who are you talking to that said that my review was not factual? Probably Lifemates who are SO DESPERATE to get good reviews that they INTIMIDATE the reviewers! In fact the man that contacted ME by TELEPHONE stated "we did not have your phone #". Well if that is the case how was he managing to talk with me! This was a cell phone that was not listed in Canada 411... jokes on Consumer Affairs and Lifemates.

Recently I wrote a review on a company that I did business with. It wasn't a positive review but I expected ConsumerAffairs to post it as it was my opinion of the company based on my experience. What I received instead of the clear posting was a grayed out posting with a line drawn through and a stamp to the right saying "factual basis uncertain". When I contacted ConsumerAffairs about this I was told that the company took exception to what I was saying and ConsumerAffairs asked me if I could prove what I said. REALLY? How does one prove bad service? How does one prove a bad experience. Does ConsumerAffiars REALLY think the company being reviewed is going to admit to anything. OF COURSE they are going to challenge or deny such a thing.
By graying out and crossing out a review and stamping it "Factual basis uncertain", ConsumerAffairs is taking sides in what is the opinion and experience of the consumer is about... and that side is the side of the business being reviewed. Businesses can certainly respond to a post if they want but they really don't have to. ConsumerAffairs does a wonderful job of censorship for businesses. A person doesn't write a review if they don't feel strongly about who they are writing about... good or bad.
The real insult is that I received an email from ConsumerAffairs that over 5000 people read it and 0 people found it useful. I was actually congratulated. The reality is very few people will find a review useful if it is grayed out, lined out and stamped with a remark that literally challenges the credibility of the reviewer. I have lost faith in ConsumerAffairs. They are not an impartial entity. As I said, reviews ARE opinions based on personal experiences of the consumer. Nothing short of bad language should be censored, tampered with or disputed in any way by ConsumerAffairs. That's the business' role if they don't like what they are seeing.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us! I want to clarify that ConsumerAffairs does not dispute reviews, but rather we allow accredited companies to dispute reviews. Rather than removing these reviews from our site entirely, we choose to grey them out so that others can still read them.
I do apologize for the poor wording in the email you received from us. It was not intended as an insult, I assure you. That email was part of a campaign to update people on the status of their review. Alerting us to this problem has helped us to avoid this in the future.
I do wish you all the best.

Yes, I found it.
Original Review: Sept. 14, 2015
I wrote a review about Instant Checkmate and I don't know if other people can see it or not (I want them to) because as I was reading their response I clicked to view on site but didn't my review. It appeared, I couldn't move forward until I responded to them so I did but still I don't know if my comments are visible to others. When I click 'your reviews' it still shows 1, and I refreshed the page and I even logged out and logged back in and still reads the same. Because my comment shows as 'resolved' will my review NOT be posted on the website for others to read? Why can't I click on each star so I can read just the 1*'s, 2*'s, etc.? Or at least have a drop down option so people can see the worst/best comments first, or the the newest comments, etc. Really being able to select each star is better because then you don't have to click on several pages just to read the reviews with 3*'s.
We greatly appreciate your feedback! I am sorry you have had a hard time viewing your review on our site. It has been published for others to read! Allowing brands and consumers (reviewers) communicate on our site is something that sets us apart and helps to resolve problems.
We hope that you will use ConsumerAffairs to share your experiences with other companies in the future as well!

Can you please make it so that I can delete a review which is no longer relevant because the company has resolved the situation so well. I am now horrified that people can still see the negative review I had posted. All that I can tell when I view as the public sees it is that the star rating changed. My new comments of resolution are not seen and the negative review still sits to be viewed by the public and it is unfair to Havertys because they DID a "reselect" for us where they are going to take back everything that we are unhappy with and give us the original cost of those pieces of furniture to select new furniture, lights, rugs. They are even giving us a discount on the new furniture we are purchasing with the reselect money. They have been great and I wish to delete my previous negative posts. The resolution comments of mine should be before the negative post if the negative post remains. The one which is still not posted can be deleted.

If you allow partner companies to dispute reviews--essentially blocking the review in its entirety--certainly you expect that company to provide a response to the reviewer outlining its facts that clearly contradict the review, right? Or do you allow them to block unfavorable reviews simply because they designate it as 'disputed'? I can't speak for the many FAHB reviews seemingly blocked recently apparently under the premise of 'disputed', but I can state that my review(s) as regards FAHBs handling of my double-oven repair as accurate. FAHB should be required to respond directly to ME in an effort to substantiate that company's claim that my review warrants a disputed designation before my reviews are essentially blocked from other inquiring consumers.
Hi Carl,
I did some research into your review and sent you some details on why the dispute was approved. If you have additional questions, please let me know how our team can be of assistance. Thank you for your feedback.

Thank you for inquiring about your review. We found it necessary to mark this review due to the use of the words, "scam" and "fraudulent."
If a review on our website uses these words to describe a company who has not legally been convicted of committing fraud, it's in the best interest of ConsumerAffairs.com to label these reviews as, "Factual basis uncertain," to protect both our site (the publisher) and you (the author) from facing possible legal accusations of defamation about the company.

This company is established by a veteran journalist. Does it not bother you when you see ONLY or majority of only positive reviews of a company listed on your site? That would alarm any consumer. For years everyone complained about Yelp and how they had shady business practices where companies were alarmed about bad reviews, offered a package to advertise with them, and then the bad review would disappear. Their practices faced tons of law suites and we hope they got the message.
If you read other review sites, now you would see the name of your site as one that sounds very shady. I am sure that you want to make your site as reliable as possible for consumers to come to, and not a shady site where your reputation is tarnished only by publishing only positive feedbacks which most likely is either written by the company's staff or paid staff in China!! Look at Select Home Warranty remarks on your site and other sites and you will see what I am talking about. Thanks for publishing my remarks!
Hi Sandy,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Our goal is to offer a place where consumers can share their feedback, regardless of whether the experience is a positive, negative or neutral one. Our reviews come from verified reviewers who are customers of the brands reviewed at our site. Our team takes authentic reviews very seriously, so verifying our reviewers helps us protect consumers from the fake reviews often found on other sites. We do not work with brands who use dishonest review collection practices, and all authorized brands agree to our Business Code of Conduct to participate in the authorized partner program.

I already wrote a response and it has been public since 5/25/15. So, I'm not sure why this case was on hold and waiting for my response.
Original Review: May 25, 2015
My first experience with ConsumerAffairs.com was, to say the least, tedious and frustrating. The company I wrote the review about kept trying to get me to change my opinion yet they continued to practice, in my opinion, deceptive advertising. So I would not change my opinion. They issued me a refund even though I told them I was not interested in one and they did everything they could short of changing their practices to convince me that I should withdraw my review but I told them that the only thing that would make me do that would be if I saw a modification in their advertising practices which I did not.
During this time ConsumerAffairs.com was holding my review from being published and continued to prompt me to consider my situation with this company "resolved." I kept telling them that it was NOT resolved and finally they published my review almost a month after it was written. However, when they published it, they labeled the so called "resolution" with the company as "PENDING." I told them that it was pending, but it that it would be "pending" until this company changed their practices. It was NOT pending as far as I was concerned and I felt that this label next to my review was quite misleading.
So I decided to write a review about ConsumerAffairs.com with this information and it's been almost a month now since I wrote that. I gave them 2 stars and basically just told the story as I have here and said that I was frustrated about the time it was taking to publish my review because it still had not been published at that time. I now have come to find out that my review about CA.com is "ON HOLD" and that it "does not meet the guidelines for publishing." So I'll end with this and leave all conclusions from here on in to the reader. That is IF this review meets the guidelines for publishing. Somehow though, I have a feeling you may not be reading this review anytime soon...

Original Review: May 18, 2015
In all fairness, what happened and what the consequences were have not fully come to fruition yet. However, I can say that far too much time has gone by from the time I wrote my review about InstantCheckmate.com on 4/26 until now and my review has still not been published. So I'm confused and not sure why it taking so long to publish my review? I keep getting messages from ConsumerAffairs.com asking me to reply to the company I reviewed and I've responded to all of them yet my review still has not been published. My most recent message from CA.com was asking me to respond to InstantCheckmate.com but there was NOTHING for me to respond to. It's as if CA.com is delaying publishing my review until I change it and make it more favorable for ICM.com. Unfortunately, I'm not going to do that because ICM.com has not changed their practices.
I can appreciate allowing a business the chance to make something right in the face of a poor review and Instant Checkmate has gone as far as refunding my membership fees which I told them was NOT the reason I wrote the review but they still issued me a refund. Unfortunately they have not changed their marketing strategy which is still, for all intents and purposes, deceptive. So my review, refund aside, still needs to be published yet it has not been.
It would be discouraging to think that Consumer Affairs was in cahoots with businesses. Giving them the opportunity to right a wrong is one thing, but if they don't change what's the point? Let's get these reviews published folks. It's been over a month and my review could have saved a lot of consumers the hassle that I had to go through!

After I supplied a brief but (mildly) negative review of a service, it was published on the "Consumer Affairs" website along with a lengthy response from the service I had criticized, along with numerous excuses and some further false information. When I tried to supply evidence to support my complaint about this vendor, "Consumer Affairs" blocked my messages and canceled my account. I created this new account to complain about "Consumer Affairs" (and their attempts to suppress criticism about some of their cronies, such as the particular vendor I had criticized). However, I am quite sure that "Consumer Affairs" will again block my complaints and cancel my account. Rather than giving up on my criticisms of both companies, I will record these exchanges and publicize them elsewhere.
We have looked into your situation further and read your original review. There are two reasons for the confusion here. It appears that you attempted to post multiple reviews for the same company. When one user attempts to write multiple reviews for the same company, the new reviews are flagged and not published. Instead, you are able to update your original review, through posting a resolution, which is published on our site, here: https://www.consumeraffairs.com/rhttps://www.consumeraffairs.com/retail/instantcheckmatecom.html?review=925017#review-925017
Once a resolution is posted by a consumer, the review is considered closed and cannot be updated further.

I think there is a place for this website; however, there should be an option where a reviewer can totally retract/delete their review. As it is, you have to wait until it is published, which takes quite awhile, and then you can "post" a retraction but that is not the same. Don't like this method at all. I will not post reviews on here again.
Sifa,
We understand how our policy for not removing reviews could be frustrating, but it's an important factor that sets ConsumerAffairs apart from other online forums.
Because of our policy, companies aren't encouraged to threaten (or bribe) consumers to take down their reviews. If a company does resolve your issues, your original review is still very relevant for other consumers who use our site.
We're glad the issues in your original review about Neiman Marcus were resolved. Reading about your initial experience AND reading your resolution update show other consumers that they, too, can get help in a similar situation.

After two weeks when the review had been published, I was able to follow the instructions given to resolve it. In the end I was allowed a forum to vent my frustration, but due to the timeline and lack of follow up by customer service the effect I was hoping for could not be achieved.
James,
We are very sorry it took 2 weeks to publish your review – that isn't normal for us. Simply put, we had a brief issue with receiving more reviews than we could process in 5-7 business days (due to an influx of reviews during the holidays). However, we are addressing this issue by creating new alerts and priority statuses for our Moderation Team to ensure reviews like yours don't get trapped in our system and remain unpublished for weeks at a time.
Additionally, we are also working to allow consumers to both submit updates to their reviews before they are published and edit their reviews before they are moderated. We're currently designing the best way to implement this new feature that will make it easy for consumers to use and understand.
We value your feedback, and we're sorry for the headache we've caused. Hearing about your experience allows us to create a better product for consumers, and we appreciate any chance we get to improve our site.
We hope you will continue to submit reviews about your experiences – consumers rely on people like you to help educate and inform them about companies across the world. Thank you for reaching out to us and being an important member of the ConsumerAffairs community.

I wrote a review about a concern I had with an online vendor. The review generated a follow up from the vendor inquiring as to how to resolve any issues I might have. The end result is that despite the suspect condition of the packaging the vendor will honor the lifetime warranty of the item. ConsumerAffairs.com was an effective go between that allowed constructive discourse between the vendor and I.
It is absolutely wonderful to read about your negative turned positive experience! I am having a horrible time with service from AT&T, and went to your site to see that there are over 700 really angry people, who have filed grievances with Consumer Affairs. Still the problems remain, I filed with another website today, and all this has just reminded me of how useless the Better Business Bureau was when I got screwed by a business, reported them and nothing happened. From the looks of it, Consumer Affairs probably is about as helpful as BBB or AT&T for that matter.
Hi Matt,
First, let me say how sorry I am to hear that AT&T has not reached out to you. Few experiences are more frustrating than feeling ignored by a company you do business with.
Regarding your question about what ConsumerAffairs does, we are a third-party review website and consumer news resource where consumers like you can share their stories to help other people make smarter decisions when they shop. Your story will help inform countless other visitors who use our site to research products and services, and your story has an impact on what people purchase.
As we are not a government organization but rather a third-party review site, companies are not required to respond to customer complaints, although many do choose to monitor the site and respond to assist their customers. Unfortunately, AT&T is not one of those companies at this time. We do our best to bridge the gap between customers and the businesses they purchase from, and I apologize that your complaint isn't being heard by AT&T. We appreciate you taking the time to share your story with others so people can make more informed decisions when they shop. I hope you will continue to see the site as a resource for researching future purchases and that you will share your stories with us in the future. If you have additional questions, I'd be happy to assist you.

Hi Ivan,
The reason for this is that we carefully moderate reviews to make sure the reviews are authentic and do not contain any language that could put the reviewer in legal jeopardy (i.e., saying words like "scam" or "fraud"). We also use a proprietary filter to help sift out any spam, fake reviews, or reviews coming from the company itself. This gives our audience better information about the brands they are researching. I apologize if that led to any frustrations during your experience, but wanted to reach out and let you know that your review was published, and will help other consumers make better choices. Our team appreciates that you took the time to share, and I hope you know it will make a positive impact on others as they make purchasing decisions.

Despite my complaints to them and many other consumer organizations, the minute they heard from Consumer Affairs they reversed the double-charge - no questions asked! Thanks Consumer Affairs.

After exhausting all the 'normal' ways of trying to resolve a problem with a vendor I posted a negative review on Consumer Affairs web site. Within days I was contacted by the company in question and offered a partial refund. Ultimately, I was able to return the merchandise for a full refund. This absolutely would not have happened had I not been able to post a review. Thanks for giving us a forum to air our grievances!

I paid a fee to InstantCheckmate.com. I was completely unhappy with their search results. Terrible actually. For me it was nothing better than a whitepages search. I immediately canceled (same day, maybe within an hr of payment). I later (next day) contacted customer service and was told they do not issue refunds. The rest is history. Only after I posted on consumer affairs website was I contacted by someone else representing instantcheckmate and they were more than happy to refund full amount. It should not have gone this far. But thank you Consumer Affairs!

I was having a difficult time trying to communicate with a company from whom I had ordered a headboard. It was defective and it was very noticeable. I followed all the instructions to return the item including item number, description, date, cost, etc. I don't know how many times I sent the request for an RMA # but I never received an answer or phone call. I decided to look up the company's BBB rating and I also read all of the complaints and even some compliments on this site.
Finally, I decided to see if I could get their attention with a negative but honest review. It didn't take long before a very polite and helpful gentleman emailed and called me about his company's review. He said he would see what he could do to make things right. I returned the defective piece in the original carton as they instructed and then emailed the tracking number to the gentleman. Today I received an email from my credit card company saying the entire price of the headboard had been refunded. So I am thankful for the help your site provided me. I will use it again when and if I need to!

Could not get help from branch, corporate customer service, escalation... no calls back, no emails, nothing. Write a negative review on a CA website, and they responded on the website within 12 hours. Wow. Although they have done nothing to help me, it’s now listed as pending resolution. I don't have a lot of hope though.
Hi Ann,
I'm so sorry to hear you're still not seeing any resolution to your complaint even with a reply from the brand. I noticed your second review for BofA did not get published because it was flagged as a duplicate. I'd like for your review to get updated to reflect your experience, so here are some directions to update the original review so you can add the new information:
Log into your ConsumerAffairs accountFind your reviews by clicking on the "Your Reviews" tab
Click on the review title you want to update
Click on the text "Would you like to mark this review as resolved?" - NOTE: This does NOT mean you are agreeing that the review is resolved. It is a way to update the review whether favorable or unfavorable.
Write your experience, update your star rating and hit the button "Resolve This Review"
From here, the brand will receive the updated review. I hope this will help you continue to update the review as new information develops. I also hope that they are able to help address and resolve the issue at hand. I empathize, and invite you reach out any time if you have questions in the future. Please do keep us posted on the outcome of your experience.

To write a review or make comment, this site requires one to "rate the experience". To register "Happy" rating, you must select "4-stars", but what I'm happy about is not the product, but that these UNHAPPY consumers took the time to write about their experience. ** Yesterday I fell in love upon seeing a magnificent-looking Elite Quiet Pak washer/dryer pair in my favorite thrift store in brand new condition, priced for a song. The only negative appeared to be some surface damage to the washer door and the pronounced nasty smell in the washer tub and seal.
I was thrilled to pay $1,000 which I put on my credit card. The store manager was very cooperative and offered to credit back my card if the machines failed to operate correctly within the first two weeks after I picked up the machines. ** I came home and looked up the product on line and read these reviews. THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO WROTE. You helped to save me from the not-so-remote possibility of losing $1,000 and time and inconvenience.
Two lessons driven home; on big-ticket items, always always always use your credit card; and if you have a problem with the customer service on some item, you have the credit card company is there to negotiate in your behalf, and No. 2; CHECK OUT THE CONSUMER COMPLAINTS ONLINE. If you still want the item after reading the reviews and can live with the potential negatives, then go for it. But you will have exercised caution and became an informed buyer.

I found the reviews very useful, and it was easy to write a review. The reviews seem to be moderated which is probably a good thing! In my case, the company I wrote the review about were obviously also watching the site and they responded very quickly to my concerns with the promise (I'm assuming it will happen) of a full refund. So, not only were the reviews useful, but also got me my money back. I would like it to be more obvious on how to update a review though. The only way I could see to do this was to mark the issue as resolved. There may be another way but I couldn't see it, so what if you want to update your review and it hasn't been resolved?? All in all, consumeraffairs.com provides a useful public service!
Hi Edward!
Thank you so much for taking the time to offer your feedback on our site. We do have a review moderation team that ensures only authentic, quality reviews make it onto our site.
I'm thrilled to see that your use of ConsumerAffairs to share your experience is leading to a resolution! That is what we strive for by connecting consumers to the brands they purchase from. Please do keep us posted on the outcome. Here are the directions to post an update to your review:
Log into your ConsumerAffairs accountFind your reviews by clicking on the "Your Reviews" tab
Click on the review title you want to update
Click on the text "Would you like to mark this review as resolved?" (Note: This does NOT mean you have to say the complaint is resolved...it is just a way to update the review whether the outcome is a resolution or a lack of resolution.)

If you have difficulty, please feel free to reach out by replying to this response. I'll be happy to assist you in making sure you get your feedback posted.
I'm going to forward your feedback on review updates to our design team to see if we can make some improvements on this feature to help make it easier to understand. I think it will be of tremendous help to other site users. I appreciate your input and thank you for trusting ConsumerAffairs.

I wrote about a miserable experience with CheapOair. CheapOair replied with lies. When I confronted CheapOair about the incorrect info, they simply never responded. After waiting 1 month, I wanted to update my experience but in order to do so, I had to indicate on ConsumerAffairs.com that the matter was resolved. It WAS NOT resolved, but there was no option to indicate that. My only choice was to mark it resolved with 1 satisfaction star. I couldn't even mark it with ZERO stars. I'm sure the only reason CheapOair replied was in an effort to negate my complaint and without ConsumerAffairs.com, CheapOair wouldn't have even given me a forum to warn other travelers. But I would have appreciated the option "not resolved, very dissatisfied" on the ConsumerAffairs.com website.

I have already written a review on your site. I have also read many others. I would have liked to have commented or replied to some of the other reviews, but I was prevented from doing so every time that I tried and this is why: A sign popped up saying: Caremark RX Inc, and underneath was a red box that said: "I'M WITH THE COMPANY", then under that it says, "We don't currently support customer responses to reviews, but you are welcome to write a review and share your experience." All of this was in a blue box that popped up whenever a person would try to make a reply to someone's story. It felt rather like a gag order and made me feel rather uncomfortable.
Hi Vickie,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you feel we have prevented you from feeling like you can speak up about your brand experiences. Free speech is important to our team, as is the privacy and trust of the consumers who use our site to reach out to brands for resolutions. Thanks for allowing me - a veteran, even- to be oppressed without companies being held liable for it! I'm smarter than you and do not back down so, thank goodness, I found help without you! The company, AHS, has restored my confidence that I have had with them for many years.

Before Consumer Affairs posted my complaint, I was receiving blatant emails from a company that I was trying desperately to have a complaint resolved. I knew in my heart that my complaint was legitimate and had documentation to prove but the company had already made a decision and was refusing to acknowledge any proof or validity of my complaint. If it wasn't for Consumer Affairs graciously publishing my complaint, I truly believe that the company I had an issue with would have never attempted to contact me to resolve my issue.
