I purchased a tank-less water heater from Amazon. When item arrived it was a splatter shield for cooking. Called Amazon and they were re-sending correct item. Took item to Kohl's who is a return center for Amazon. Received confirmation email that Amazon received wrong item back. A month later they charged my account for the water heater again. That was Saturday afternoon and we were on a weekend getaway. That wiped my bank account of everything. We called Amazon just to be told it will take 3-5 days to return the money. We stayed in a hotel instead of enjoying a Halloween party. What money we had was enough for us to eat a sandwich and put gas in the car to get home to our kids. If you can take the money out the same day you should be able to put it back the same day. I will try my best never to use Amazon again. Stop keeping my card on file. Be very careful when you use your card and save it.

Having placed 4 orders at the beginning of October, and being told these wouldn't arrive until the first week in November, Amazon charged for these on the point of order. Yet on their site it says they don't charge until despatch. This sounds like shady practice to me. At least the information on the site should be correct and honest. Copied and pasted from their website: Note: If you place an order which will be paid by a payment card, we won't charge the card until the order enters the dispatch process. When I queried it I was told they had changed their policy.

Tried to explain to Amazon customer services; that I couldn't logon and explained, but it seem as if they didn't understand, had to call the bank to dispute the charges and get a new card.. I yet to know what address that these's order went to, because again I can't logon. So if you have your Amazon or any other card saved into your Amazon account, need to check to see if you have an merchandise you never ordered and if you can't logon, good luck calling the customer service dept..

Ordered an item that was Prime delivery, time came and past for it to arrive. Contacted Amazon, was informed it was being rush shipped to me and it would arrive on a specific day. That day came and it didn't arrive. Item is now out of stock and will be delayed again. Now I am waiting again for an item that was Prime delivery yet again with yet another specific day for arrival. I pay for the prime membership just for the shipping.

Amazon.fr Prime fails to deliver on promises made and on actual delivery of orders. I have amazon orders delivered to a French Post Office. There is a shipping company carrier Colis Private that does not recognize the French Post Office address and will not deliver to the French Post Office. In a past order Amazon.fr Prime used the carrier Colis Private and my package was not delivered. It was the fault of Amazon not the seller. Dealing with this issue took about 2 weeks and many many wasted hours contacting both Amazon.fr and the carrier Colis Private (A company I would NEVER recommend). Amazon was not helpful in resolving this delivery failure. Amazon.fr told me I would never have this problem again and they would not use the unreliable carrier Colis Private for my orders.

In my last order I specified in the shipping notes to not use the carrier Colis Private, yet Amazon.fr Prime used this horrible company Colis Private. My package was not delivered with the excuse that the address is wrong. It is the address for the French Post Office in the area. It is a correct address with past amazon packages delivered there. Amazon promised this delivery problem would not be an issue again and they failed as I am now having to deal with this yet again. They told me I could cancel my order and reorder, yet the order was time sensitive for me. It is still unresolved.

    1. Amazon.fr Prime Failed to deliver on their promise that this shipping carrier would not be used and that we would not have this problem again. This failure means that they lied to me about resolving this problem, making them untrustworthy.

    2. Amazon.fr Prime Failed to literally have the time sensitive order deliver to the address. They have been made aware of the issue in the past, but continue to use the company that they know will not deliver. This makes Amazon.fr Prime unreliable.

I am greatly disappointed in the services and reliability of Amazon.fr Prime and currently would not recommend Amazon.fr Prime based on their failures to deliver.

I don’t have Prime with Amazon. I buy mostly used books, although from time to time I do buy other things. I have always said Amazon has the best customer service on earth. I have used their service for 13 years with no problem. Now that Prime is out, there is no customer service unless you have Prime. The item that I ordered on October 7th shipped on October 16 and was delivered October 22. That’s what you get if you don’t have Prime. I’ve canceled a couple of orders because after four days they hadn’t shipped, but I really wanted this order, so I found out how Amazon treats people without Prime. So I have canceled my account after 13 years and will order everything from Walmart. At least I know they will not wait 9 days to ship my item and I won’t have to wait over 2 weeks to get it.

I wonder if any other seller on Amazon have had their account hacked, had product shipped at a no cost? This happened with my company product (lots of product) was ordered from our online store at no cost and shipped to 2050 Los Felix Street, Unit171, Las Vegas, NV 89156, with our company name. We discovered this while it was happening and immediately contact the famed Amazon customer service. Sadly, they are much less than useless, they refused to help time after time after time again. Having escalated this up through various management levels their claim was they could do nothing to stop or redirect the shipments, this is an outright lie as the shipper is the only entity that can effect a change in the shipment according to UPS, who, unbelievable were less use than the incompetent customer service at Amazon.

Just cursory steps in Amazons security could prevent this type of occurrence but the rush for profits, (As if Jeff Bezos needs any more money) I believe prevented a true investigation into our complaint. Maybe it is an inside job as only three logins from our company can make moves like this and none were entered at our end. Again, the customer service refused to say who had logged on at our end. We have reported this crime to the local Las Vegas police and FBI. Personally I think this is a much deeper problem with Amazon which they are refusing to acknowledge. Companies like ours have put Amazon where they are today and to receive no support is galling in the extreme. If I could have given less stars than one, I would have done so. Has any other company had this experience? Stephen Buckley, Dakota Biotech

Amazon customer service says there is a technical glitch and that they can’t even order it for you. Yet they won’t take it down because it’s a great marketing tool to get you to their site. I am also a prime member who has not received my shipments within 2 to 3 days on several occasions, yeah Amazon doesn’t stand by their guarantee that they will deliver within two days, they just blame the carrier and tell you there’s nothing they can do for you. Jeff Bezos is the second richest man in the world, thank God somebody beat him out, And has made his money from scamming customers. There are many places to shop besides Amazon today. You never get your item on time or you will never get your items. Important point is here even though I am a prime member when I did not receive my item they just keep saying sorry no replacement or refund. They will say carrier has your items but that carrier never arrives. My agreement is with Amazon not the carrier. If it happened once, okay but when it has happened on 5 separate occasions then you obviously cannot deliver in 24 hours or can not deliver at all. AMAZON PRIME IS NOT WORTH IT. Argued and argued till they finally agreed to send a new one and refund since we were unable to get prime delivery at this point. 5 days later somehow the package disappeared from our amazon tracking. Called back and they said the order was cancelled. Only received half a refund also.

Spoke to another supervisor who said what was agreed upon was incorrect and eventually hung up on me. Now just trying to get my money back and be done with this ridiculous web scammer. Horrible customer service and shouldn't even exist when people head up don't have enough respect to not even hang up on someone. After 2 weeks waited with patience, but estimated delivery date already gone. I called Aramex, and I send mail, literally the parcel lost by Amazon. They refunded me as gift card, even they didn't ask me. And the second issue, I wasn't sure shop from Amazon again, but because they refunded me gift card for lost parcel, I bought another ring bell. ORDER # **. I expressed my concerns to Customer Services maybe 2 times, because that was gift and I didn't want any hassle. From Exclusive CS Aaron promised me that there will be any trouble, I trusted his words...

Today was estimated delivery date, and seems there wasn't any move since 18 October 2019 in Aramex. In this period I talked with Aaron again I remembered his words, and he responded me exactly this: ''I realize you're upset, and I regret we've been unable to address your concerns to your satisfaction. However, we'll not be able to offer any additional insight or action on these matters, and any further inquiries on this matter won't receive a response.'' I talked with Aramex today, and they confirmed that there wasn't any move since 18 October. I am sending mails for this issue, as he Aaron told me no one responding. I don't know what should I do. I know it happens once, but second ... And no one cares? I wouldn't be worried if I bought for myself, but this is for someone else, Amazon literally put me in a difficult position.

I've had an HBO subscription through Amazon Prime Video for several months, now, set up to charge my debit card. In the last few weeks, I'd input my corporate AMEX to make some purchases for my company. A few days ago, my HBO subscription renewed on my corporate AMEX. Using my corporate card for personal use is a fireable offense. I called Amazon support to request that it be refunded and charged to my personal debit card. What ensued was a 40 minute phone call where, ultimately, all they could do was cancel my HBO subscription and offer an apology. I appreciate the gesture--though its intent was seemingly to placate me, when really I felt my concern over the error (and the risk of losing my job) was not truly heard or cared about. The representative that helped me, Susan, was very kind. But it seems that Amazon has not equipped her to help customers in such dire situations. What's worse is that it appears it just won't matter to Amazon.

In August there was fraudulent activity on Amazon using my bank card. Amazon emailed me which was great. They indicated two of the four fraudulent charges were valid purchases. These were not my purchases. I received information on why they denied my claim and upon reading their documentation they were not even ordered on my IP address. One of the charges was for a gift card to a person I did not even know. Instead of them looking into that aspect they have just been giving me the runaround. I contact them and they say someone will call me. I've only had one phone call that went to voicemail while I was working. I did call back and talked to their fraud prevention representative, Carolyn, who told me to contact my bank.

I had initially informed my bank in August. So I contacted my bank again and they told me Amazon would have to refund me the money directly. So another call to Amazon, waiting on hold until I finally am able to speak to someone who told me they will pass the information along and someone will contact me. No one ever contacted me. I again called on October 3, 2019, and was told I would receive an email regarding my fraudulent claim. Again, no email was sent to me. The four fraudulent charges were on my Amazon account on August 13, 2019. It has now been two months with no resolution. I cannot get a decent response from Amazon and fear I will never see the money that has been, in essence, stolen from me.

It is AI now, when you ask for a supervisor, that supervisor is also AI (artificial intelligence). I was NOT able to get any help at all. They refused to give me a customer service number (the computer refused). Amazon does not care about interacting with its customers any longer. I have an urgent issue and now will have to deal with a whole bunch of problems tomorrow because they are not there to talk to me today. I use Amazon a few times a week.. for 20 years... I really love shopping at Amazon because any time I have ever had a problem their customer service has always been great about fixing the issue. Whether it's damaged merchandise and needing a refund to needing to know about a product. Because I have over the years had to deal several times with damaged merchandise from other seller's and a few but not many from Amazon themself and Amazon has always helped me as I said with getting a refund or replacement which ever I asked for.

Some people leave reviews about a bad experience with a seller and not being able to get their problem resolved and blame Amazon for the seller's but it's obvious in their review they didn't take the time to contact Amazon about their issue. I love getting my food for my fur babies at Amazon because I'm a prime member and I know I will get it on time unlike alot of other places who promise a delivery date but don't deliver on that promise. I'm disabled so I get a discount rate for prime membership and that's great that they give back and help people who sometimes need a little extra help. I've shopped at Amazon for several years and have never had a late package. In today's times that's unbeatable service.

Amazon usually has anything and everything a person would need. One place shopping. They are great about the details for item's also about if it's in stock or not. I hate ordering from some places and then after they take your money they send you a email saying oops out of stock but then take 4-5 days or longer to give you a refund, your money back. Anytime I've ever needed a refund it's always been back on my card the next day from Amazon. I just can't say enough about my Amazon experience.

Both items were packed in the same box, UPS picked it up the next day. Refund was scheduled to be returned to the Visa account that was used for the purchase. Checked bank account 3 days later, found $9.57 processing for one item, the other item refund was not processing. Called Amazon.com customer service to follow-up. The rep was very difficult to understand, it was obviously a call center in the region of India judging by the accent. I was told that they had not received the other item.

I assured the young lady that both items were in the same box. She was very helpful and after a brief "hold" she assured me that the other item would be taken care of, the refund would show up in my account in 3-5 days. Check my account in 2 days and found the $15.03 refund for that 2nd item as she said, but the $9.57 refund was not posted to my account, and there was also an unauthorized charge of $6.77 to my account. I called Customer Service. The rep was very difficult to understand, it was obviously a call center in the region of India judging by the accent (different girl).

I was told that the $9.57 was indeed credited to my gift card, however, I DID NOT USE A GIFT CARD FOR THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE, I DID NOT REQUEST A GIFT CARD, NOR DID I WANT A GIFT CARD - all refunds were scheduled to be returned to the original Visa account that was used. The customer service rep assured me that she would take care of both refunds for me and that I did not need to worry. Checked my bank account 3 days later, still no refund for either charge, so I called customer service again just to follow-up. The rep was rather difficult to understand, it was obviously a call center in the region of India judging by the accent, this time it was a young man.

This rep assured me that the $9.57 was indeed on a gift card and that the $6.77 charge was not processed for refund, but he would take care of both refunds and even made arrangements to call me in 3 days to confirm that the refunds were posted to my bank account. Two days later I get an email from Amazon.com saying that my Amazon Prime Membership was cancelled as requested and that I would be refunded my $13.14. I did NOT cancel my membership nor did I request a cancellation. I called Amazon.com customer service. The rep was somewhat difficult to understand, it was obviously a call center in the region of India judging by the accent and it was a different young man. I explained the situation, he said that he can see that my membership was cancelled.

At this point I requested to speak to supervisor, preferably American. After a minute, another young man named Carlos picked up the call, he was obviously using an American accent (almost convincingly). He said that the $6.77 has been processed for refund but that the $9.57 is still on the gift card but he would personally take care of that. He also said that he is unable to do anything about the membership cancellation but that I can re-apply for the membership. So, because a customer service rep was able to manipulate my account and cancel my membership out of spite, I will need to spend my time reapplying, and setting up all of my devices again.

In the meantime, all of the other devices that are connected to my Prime membership have had Prime services disrupted. Amazon.com does not provide any way to make a complaint other than being directed to the same call center that caused the problem in the first place. How effective is a complaint made to the same people who caused the problem you are calling to complain about? The customer service reps could very well have put my $9.57 on a gift card expecting to either use it or give it to a family member - who would know? I have been inconvenienced by a spiteful Amazon.com customer service representative who cancelled my membership to exact her revenge on me. They know that they can do whatever they want because customers have no recourse.

Last month: I ordered a $40.00 gift for my son and had it delivered to his home. It arrived broken. I did not call customer service last month, nor did I ask for a return or exchange for this gift. My son was gracious enough to say that he would use the gift in spite of the broken part. Merchants know that gifts are less likely to be returned. My opinion: it is easy to unload all of the imperfect merchandise this way. It is embarrassing not only for the customer (me) but for the receiver of the gift (my son). Who pays $40.00 for broken merchandise to give as a gift?

So, ask yourself this question: do you feel lucky? Nine good orders out of ten are pretty good odds, right? Who cares about a few dollars lost here and there, right? So who will protect the millions of customers who are at the mercy of a disgruntled "customer service representative"? The foxes are guarding the hen-house, make no mistake about that.

I would recommend items not being delivered by Canada Post as they don’t contact the person to inform of delivery. CP just leaves a delivery notice in the mailbox. The consumer then has to go to the post office to pick up the order. I find this frustrating and time consuming.

Some of the questions I couldn't answer accurately without access to my account. I have a wife and two daughters ordering products and I don't know the last 5 items that were ordered and I don't know exactly how long I've been a Prime member. 4,5 or 6 years...I don't know.

I then ask their social media rep for a phone line where I can talk to an American, but they just tell me to call the same number as before. They ignore my emails and the social media rep quit answering my requests. Surely Jeff Bezos can afford a customer service line with an American. I would like to share my experience with Amazon with other customers by providing this review. In September this year my son has ordered from Amazon Huk Men's CYA Camo Packable Rain Jacket, large size that was in stock. So, when he received the Jacked and put it on he realized that size of jacket is small instead of ordered large size. He did not make big deal of it and gifted it to me, since it fits on me well. Thanks to Amazon, I was thinking at that time. I thought that this kind of mistake from Amazon cannot happen again and I have ordered for my son large size jacket again. I was a bit surprised when Amazon send me also small size jacket instead of large size.

I desperately wanted that large size jacket for my son and probably it was my mistake, as I realized later. My first order was unsuccessful as well as my son’s. So, now I had two small size jackets in my possession. Since my son’s son or my grandson James is only 2.5 years old now it is too long time for him to wait until jacket can fit on him. So, I decided to return small size jacket back to Amazon, but this time I was smarter (that I thought) and provided a comment what I am or customers can think about Amazon when receiving small size jacket instead of large size and probably it was my second mistake.

My wife and my daughter were trying to stop me to order third time large size jacket, but I thought that third time I should be more lucky (it is like playing roulette in casino). So, this time I was much, much more smarter and probably it was my third mistake. Before ordering third time large size jacket I call to Amazon, actually they call be back, and I very patiently explain them why I am calling, why I am a bit upset receiving third time small size instead of large size jacket and why I still trust in Amazon and desperately want same large size jacket.

So, I was very happy that Amazon call me (there is no phone number that you can call Amazon) and they told me this time Amazon will check if everything is ok with my order and my order already on its way to me and there is no way that I will get small size jacket again instead of large size. So, I thought that got green light on my order and that so desired large size jacket almost in my hands. Probably you already now unhappy end of my unwanted experience with Amazon. Just a thought, maybe I should order small size and get so desired large size? Good idea! Forgot to tell you that Amazon gave me $10 credit for inconvenience. Should I keep it and make an order again?

I was in the market for a new Ecobee Smart Thermostat and did some shopping. Amazon had a price of $299.99 - $314.99 with tax. I decided to order it with another item and at the same time try Amazon Prime. The order was promised in two days. I was shocked when one item arrived in one day, on day two I decided to track my thermostat to see where it was, and I could not find the order. I contacted the shipping company and they told me my order was not in their system and referred me to Amazon customer service.

The service representative was great, he called me three days in a row, and sent a couple of emails, finally he confirmed my order was lost. He issued me a refund for $314.99 and told me to reorder the thermostat. The new price was $368.48, over $50 more, but he said he would issue me a refund because of all the problems with my order. The refund was for $110.54, which was about $60 less than my original order, this definitely made up for all the mistakes. Needless to say I was HAPPY.

The day my new thermostat was supposed to arrive, I got a email from Amazon telling me that it would not be delivered and I was to receive a refund of $257.94. So now 10 days later, I have no thermostat and have corresponded to Amazon a half dozen time for nothing. I was not so Happy anymore. I called Amazon immediately and inquired about my cancelled order. I was told it was lost or damaged, no one seemed to know, and that I would have to reorder the thermostat again. My first thought was, "why don't they just ship me a new thermostat?, why cancel an order and make me reorder?"

I was also advised since it was lost twice that I should maybe not reorder for a week. I then asked when I reordered what would the price be? I was told the full $368.48 no discount at all. They would not even give me the price from the original order. I cannot believe a company the size of Amazon would not honor the price that they sold me the thermostat for. They told me, I was given a one time discount and that was it. How can I have been given a one time discount when I never received my thermostat? Once I realized that I was getting nowhere, I asked to speak to someone who could tell me when it would be safe to order the thermostat again and if they would honor their discount? I was politely told, No. I find it hard to believe that Amazon got to where they are today by treating customers like this.

The most impressive thing about Amazon.com used to be its unparalleled customer service. That's the key thing that has kept me a member for 15 years and a Prime member for the last several years. I'm not sure what changed, or why it changed, but since August 2019 that customer service has taken a nose-dive right into the toilet. In 15 years I've only had a handful of Amazon purchases go awry, and in every case I was able to shoot an email to customer service, and within 72 hours Amazon had made good, either by issuing a refund or over-nighting a replacement order at no extra charge.

Apparently those days are gone. Beginning this past summer the email contact option went away. Also, you can no longer call Amazon directly about an order issue. The only form of contacts left are on-line "chat", or you can leave them a message and ask THEM to call YOU, at their convenience. Right off the bat this is Amazon telling us that THEIR time is more valuable than OUR time.

With email, I could make a report, and check for replies at my convenience. With "chat" I have to sit by the computer and interact with an Amazon chat person, sometimes for half an hour or more. In the past 3 months my experience has been that the person you chat with is never able to help you with your issue, without "escalating" your case 2 or 3 times, meaning you get shuffled from one chat-person to the next several times in every chat -- and you get to retell your story 3 or 4 times.

Did I mention that before you even get to a chat \person\, you first have to play 20 questions with the chat 'bot? The phone situation is even more ridiculous. You used to be able to dial an actual customer service rep. Now you call in a request for them to call you back -- and they return your call, once again, at THEIR convenience, not yours. Even all this might be tolerable had Amazon maintained the same level of service they used to have. Unfortunately, that also seems to be gone with the wind.

Recently I ordered a dozen items in a single order which, for reasons best known to Amazon, was split into two shipments. One was sent by UPS, and arrived 2 days later without incident. The other was shipped by USPS and never arrived. On the third day I contacted Amazon "chat" about the missing shipment and was told that it had "been delivered on Wednesday (the day before). It hadn't. Amazon chat advised me to wait another day, and then contact them again if the shipment still hadn't arrived. I waited; it didn't, and I contacted Amazon again. At this point, as recently as last July, customer service would have offered me my choice of a replacement shipment or a refund. This time, I was told to "wait three business days, and contact us again if the shipment doesn't arrive."

I waited three more days; the shipment didn't arrive. I checked with USPS and they told me they had left the shipment "in your garage". I don't have a garage. I checked with neighbors up and down the street; none of them had seen the shipment. So, I contacted Amazon chat again. I was told that I needed to wait three more business days and contact them again. I did this, and by this point I had waited 10 days for a "2-day shipping" Prime order, which still had not arrived. Since there had been dated birthday items in the shipment, I told Amazon I no longer needed the items, and requested a refund.

They told that I -I- needed to initiate an investigation with the USPS, before they could issue a refund. Excuse me? -I- was not the shipper of those items; Amazon was the shipper. Seems like THEY were the ones who should have initiated the investigation. So I said, "fine I'll initiate the investigation, and if you can't issue a refund until that's complete, then please send me a replacement order." I was told they couldn't issue a refund OR a replacement until the results of the investigation were complete. If you have ever had to have the Post Office investigate a package that you mailed which got lost in the mail, you know such an investigation can take anywhere from several weeks to several months.

Everyone of these "chat" sessions lasted a half-hour or longer, and involved at least 4 different Amazon reps. Meanwhile, the bottom line is, I ordered and PAID FOR $200 worth of goods from Amazon which they failed to deliver, and they will not make good on this order until -I- have the Post Office investigate what had to be either Amazon's or the Post Office's screw-up. If someone makes a shipment which doesn't arrive, it is almost always considered the responsibility of the SHIPPER to investigate and make good on the shipment. Virtually every other on-line seller I use follows this protocol; Amazon used to, as well -- up to this past August. Now it appears their customer service policy is, "we'll take your money, and screw you." Very disappointing.

The driver who delivers the package knocks to let me know that my order is on my door step. Returns are easy and the Wish List has been a blessing too. Amazon.com offers the best on-line shopping experience a person can have.

I purchased a pair of shoes for $64. Didn't fit quite right so I was going to return them. No problem with the seller at all 30 day "No questions asked". They were shipped to me for free, good deal. When I went to UPS, the shipper they used, it would have been $24 to $26 for the return. Wow! So I gave them to a friend. My point and suggestion: Obviously the seller didn't pay that much because that would mean he would only receive about $40 for the shoes.

I think sellers could and should offer return shipping at their rate and just deduct that amount from your credit. It would be much cheaper and a great service to the customer. They could just e-mail the label, you print it and off you go. There would be, of course, some that would charge more than their rate but bad reviews would slow that down.

I'm at wit's end with Amazon and don't know what to do. Most of my Amazon deliveries are delivered to my NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR!!! I've called and chatted with Amazon multiple times and all I get are constant apologies and meaningless platitudes and yet nothing ever changes. There's no way to directly call or email Amazon corporate and thus they've done a great job of insulating themselves from having to be accountable to their customers.

I cannot understand why the US postal service Fedex and even UPS can all manage to deliver packages to my house be yet the majority of my Amazon deliveries go to my next door neighbor. When I moved my house 2.5 years ago this was an occasional issue but in the past 9 months to a year, 90% of my Amazon deliveries have gone to my neighbor. This isn't a coincidence: This is when Amazon transitioned from delivery some of their own packages to delivering most.

My neighbor has gotten so upset by this that he paid good money to have custom made house number signs in which the 4 (the # that is different from my street address) is larger than the other numbers, in order to try and clue the Amazon drivers that they have the wrong house. Yet this hasn't worked and my next door neighbors are FURIOUS at having to bring our packages to my house several days a week. Please see the attached picture with my street # on the package and my neighbor's street #.

To add insult to injury: I've stopped 2 different drivers while they were delivering to the wrong house, pointed out the mistake and ask that they please deliver to the correct address. I even asked the 2nd driver to let his supervisor know what's going on. Thus, Amazon cannot say they were not aware of the issue since I've gone through many channels and thus I can only assume that they don't care about fixing the problem. This is beyond ridiculous and I don't know what to do. I've spent thousands of dollars with Amazon and don't think that this is a good way to treat a long time customer.

I recently received a phone call asking me to pay £39 to renew my Prime membership. Since I had never paid to join Prime, I assumed it was a scam. I called Amazon customer support and they confirmed it was indeed a scam. Membership was £79, and my renewal was not due until 23 Feb next year. I checked my credit card statement for February this year, and sure enough £79 had been taken. I have no recollection of making this order. More to the point, when I check my account and my orders there is no record of this transaction, although four other purchases around this time are in plain sight.

When I pointed all this out to Amazon they gave me a full refund. A couple points. Most of my dealings with Amazon have been satisfactory. I just think the way this money was taken was underhanded. Every other purchase made has come with at least one confirmatory e mail. My Amazon account did show me as a Prime member. My cruise lines have upgraded me to Gold member without payment because of my frequent custom. I just assumed Amazon had done the same. I needed to purchase an electric scooter controller so I chose one on Amazon.com because it was marked as “original”. I tried many times to purchase it with my main account however because I use the app Privacy.com (because Amazon sells your information to databases) Amazon locked my account for the 2nd time. I tried to open up another account but Amazon did not let the charge go through. I then went to my local grocery store, purchased a gift card So I could purchase the controller. When I finally did get the to purchase the controller and it arrived I could not install it immediately as I was still waiting for parts to come from China.

Once the parts arrived and I did install the controller I was having problems with the headlight on the scooter as well as the speed of the scooter. I thought the problem was what’s called the dashboard (The display/speedometer interface) so I ordered another dashboard from China. Long story short it turned out to be a problem with the controller I had purchase from Amazon. I went on Amazon looking for warranty information and noticed that I could return/exchange the controller. I set up the return/exchange and dropped the controller off at the UPS store on 9/14/2019 at 2:32pm to which I have a drop off receipt that I’ve emailed Amazon several times.

After a couple of days I checked the return and it said UPS awaiting package? I thought this was odd So I went down to the UPS store and the manager was not helpful. I then contacted UPS customer service and they said that Amazon would have to file a claim if the package was lost. After I contacted Amazon customer service which after a 20 min hold told me that returns can take up to 2 weeks. Which I did wait 2 weeks, and called again and after a 30 minute hold I was told that if I don’t have a refund by the 1st to contact them again.

When I finally did get the refund (which technically still has not gone through) Amazon charged me a $9+ restocking fee for a defective product and their justification for this was because I didn’t return the item by the 16th... I have called Amazon multiple times, I have done text chat and nobody is willing to or can resolve this very simple issue... it seems that Amazon is run by computers and the employees have no power to change anything that’s in the system. But the employees don’t want bad rating so they’ll tell you whatever you wanna hear and then it just doesn’t happen... Not only that but waiting two weeks for a return refund is a Ludacris amount of time to wait for something like that.

They acknowledge that I am owed the refund. I even have emails saying it will appear on my credit in 3 to 5 days and nothing. Every time you call them it's a start from scratch phone call. They will put you on hold for twenty minutes while they read the notes and when they return they still don't have it right.

Then they pass you to a supervisor who puts you on hold for twenty more minutes and then they tell you they are sending this to their "special department" to handle it A to Z, but you can't talk to them because "they don't have phones." Really? This company has become a joke and everything is the vendors fault, so even though you bought the product from Amazon's site and Amazon charged your card they have no responsibility for what the vendor does. I doubt that would hold up in court very well. Sad it's gone so downhill. It use to be amazing customer service.

I purchased an item based on the fact it was advertised to be delivered in 2 days with amazon prime on September 24. When it wasn't delivered I called Amazon.com and was told it was still in transit from the seller amazon.com Services, Inc. I asked what did that mean still in transit and was told it was still in transit with no other explanation. I told the representative advertising this item to be delivered in 2 days is false advertisement. I also explained to the representative this same situation has occurred to me the last two times I purchased an item from amazon.com; not receiving an item in 2-days as advertised. After being given a token discount just to get me off the phone, I was told it would arrive the next day.

The next day, September 25, nothing arrived from amazon.com. I called amazon.com again and was told the same excuse as to why I hadn't received my item, "It was still in transit from the seller amazon.com Services, Inc." After voicing my frustration, a rude woman in logistics offered me another token discount to get me off the phone. I told her I wasn't looking for a discount, coupon or a refund and that I just wanted what I purchased and delivered to me as advertised. I was told once again all the information they could give me was, "It was still in transit from the seller amazon.com Services, Inc." She then assured me it would be delivered the next day on September 26.

Well, today, nothing delivered again. So once again, I called amazon.com again and was told the same ole excuse again as to why I hadn't received my item, "It was still in transit from the seller amazon.com Services, Inc." I told the representative that just doesn't make any sense to me. The item is being shipped by amazon.com services, inc., and you can't tell why it's still in transit from amazon.com which is where you work. The rep could not offer any reason or answer except once again, "It was still in transit from the seller amazon.com Services, Inc." The rep placed another order of the same item at no cost and told me I would receive it on September 28 by 8pm.

Amazon.com has dropped the ball on their advertisement for 2-day delivery time and time again. I am a prime member paying an additional cost for 2-day delivery. If amazon.com can't deliver as they advertise for 2-day delivery, they should refund everyone their money for the cost of their prime membership. I'd give them no stars if I could.

The next rep then stated she thinks the part never left the warehouse. I stated again, I never wanted a refund, I just want the part. Then she put me on hold to receive her “managers” approval to “expedite” the part and send a replacement ASAP. Approval was granted and I was guaranteed delivery Wednesday. Wednesday evening - no package. Called Amazon and spoke to a manager directly. She stated all previous reps I spoke to were “mis-informed” and need further training. She also stated a manager cannot issue a replacement to be sent.

She said and I quote “since the refund was issued, I should just take my money to another store and buy the part”. I then explained that they no longer manufacture that part to be readily available at a store, hence why I ordered through Amazon Prime. This area is lacking and may be something they should reconsider in the future. While this was only a $10 purchase, it gives me pause before larger purchases in the future; considering that there could be a change in price that they will not work around. Didn't get any confirmation on the same, so contacted phone support, here also the advisor informed the same thing. So, thought it will be cancelled by Tuesday and contacted the chat support on Tuesday morning but the advisor (Kandula **) informed like he has cancelled now from his end then what was both advisor doing on Sunday?? Any of them should have lied and trying to fool.

And after that was transferred to phone support as I wanted it to escalate it further. Now another phone support advisor (Gnanavi) was ready to provide more worst experience. Nothing to tell about her because her tone was like she is doing this job because of someone's pressure. His name was Mohin and he again para-phrase the issue and said the request is already been sent and it will be cancelled when the products reaches any hubs.

This is what is much interesting, according to him the product cannot be cancelled when it is in transportation so once it reaches any hubs and if they scan for the barcode, they will be notified by a pop up that the item is requested for cancellation and it will be cancelled by then. So, I had requested for cancellation of the product on Sunday and Monday 23rd 4:23 AM package has arrived at a courier facility Haryana. According to the great senior advisor Mohin, they will only be able to cancel the product when it reaches any hubs. If I had requested cancellation on Sunday and why was it not notified on Monday when it had reached the Haryana courier facility? Didn't they scan over there?

Monday, it has already left Haryana courier facility at 12:00 PM. Why was it not scanned by then at least?? My experience in buying from Amazon goes back to their very early days when they were simply a discount online book store... Yes, we're talking last century here... I've watched them grow over the years and offer more and more products and services. I have enjoyed saving money while avoiding mall shopping, which I've disliked for decades.

Now, however, especially following the Great Recession, I am also sensitive to the impact dollars make on local economies. While I still spend money on Amazon, I would feel better about it if I knew my hard-earned dollars were being spent in the U.S. to support my own nation's economy, though I'm not opposed to supporting others as well, as long as they don't use and abuse workers. I'd also like to be able to choose between states in the U.S. wherein my dollars may be spent, so I can support the economies of states in which my politics are more compatible than in others. Simply stated, I like to feel good about how I am spending my money, and I like to vote, not only in the voting booth, but with my wallet as well. After all, that's really what most people in power care about.

Being the concerned shopper that I am, I recently contacted Amazon and asked how I could find out where their sellers are located (just country and/or state, nothing more). I was also interested in knowing which state's workers might be impacted by my purchases when I buy things fulfilled by Amazon (does the item ship from a warehouse in California, West Virginia, Washington state, or elsewhere). Again simply stated, I wish to feel good about my purchases by monetarily supporting certain local economies, while not inadvertently supporting others.

The response I got from Amazon went something like the ones I got from doctors' offices recently when I made some calls to find out what a procedure I may need might potentially cost. All responded by saying they cannot provide that information. Really? Doctors' offices treated me as if I was from Mars, because apparently no one ever dares question what they charge. It was only after I explained that they may call me a "patient", but I am also a "paying customer" that they referred me to others who finally got back to me with answers.

With Amazon, the story was not so pleasant. I was treated as if I was the problem, simply for asking where my hard-earned dollars might potentially go. What ever happened to customer service and making information available so customers may make informed choices? (Note: I use the term "customer" because it is MY money being spent here. I am not simply a parasitic “consumer”.)

I'm now looking to go back to purchasing things from companies directly, rather than giving Amazon my hard-earned dollars. Sad, because I typically supported new start-ups and smaller businesses on Amazon (those with 100's of reviews or less, rather than those with 100's of thousand of reviews). I liked the idea of supporting the little guy, instead of major conglomerates, while also being backed by Amazon's return policy. Sadly, Amazon seems to have become one of those major conglomerates that doesn’t care about their customers (and probably doesn’t care about their workers either).

Sadly, there are many smaller sellers who feel they need Amazon's platform to get their businesses off the ground. Because of outrageous real estate costs, they cannot afford brick and mortar storefronts, and they cannot afford the time and money it takes to move their own websites up on the google search platform. And ironically, I happen to agree with a lot of what Jeff Bezos has recently done to stand up for those without a voice. Still, after my most recent customer inquiry and Amazon’s “customer service” department response, I am going to make a concerted effort to spend most of my dollars away from Amazon from now on.

BTW, I'm not sure this is the right website upon which to post this, given the fact that you claim to have the consumer’s best interests at heart, while at the same time taking advertising dollars from businesses. Still, it’s not easy to find a site upon which one can review Amazon itself. Interesting. We'll see if this actually gets posted...

3 years ago we did a Kickstarter funding for a recording project. Campaign was successful. The way it worked was... Donations come in and had to go into an account set up with Amazon which Amazon gets a percentage of funds that come in. We have a balance of $600 left in our account. Amazon has/is making it impossible to get the remaining funds. They keep changing the story on why they won't release our donated funds. They say one day, that our bank isn't confirmed (which we've confirmed 7-8 times now). Then they say we don't have permission to access the funds. You're put on hold for 20-30 minutes at a time and have to listen to distorted music and then talk with a customer service rep who barely speaks any English and accent is so thick it's hard to understand.

We've been butting heads with Amazon to get our last funds to help with our new recording project which we left the funds in our account for this very reason. Just now, looking at another email from Amazon they're saying again that we don't have permission to access the funds even though when you talk to one of their Indian reps we're told it should work. We've now a call into our attorney to try and make sense of what Amazon is doing. How many other Kickstarter project people are having the same issue with Bezos/Amazon and not able to get their own funds in the their accounts??

I pay $128.00 for a Prime Membership to receive items ordered in 2 business days but it's been taking over 5 days to receive it. On 09/15/19, I ordered a $200.00 Visa Gift card to send to my granddaughter in college and Amazon charged my store credit card for $206.95. Amazon promised the delivery 09/16/19 then I received an email stating it would be 09/17/or/09/18/19. I waited until 9:00 pm on 09/18/19 but never receive the gift card. I called Amazon to ask why it wasn't delivered, customer service could not explain it. They pushed me off on Logistic (their carrier) and carrier asked me why was I transferred to them. Logistic transferred me back to customer service and bounced me around 3 times without any resolution.

Frustrating and very irritated, I asked them to cancel the order and refund my store credit card. I asked would it be an issue to purchase another Gift Card and was told no. On 09/18/19, I ordered a Mastercard Gift Card because there may have been an with Visa Card. I received notification the Mastercard would be delivered 09/20/19. I checked the tracking information and it stated it would be delivered by 9:00 pm. I checked an hour later and stated it would delivered by 10:00 pm 09/20/19.

After waiting 2 hours, I decided to check the status again where the date change again with the delivery date 09/21/19 - 09/24/19. I called Amazon customer service again and told both deliveries were delay because of the flood. I told them there wasn't a flood on 09/16 19 so it does not make sense. Akolhili transferred me to Logistics again (passing the buck) and I spoke to Andre to find out where was the package. Andre placed me on hold but another person was on the line and told me the building collapsed. I asked so the building was collapse on 09/16 also. He could not answer that question. My Amazon Store Card have both charges added to my account so I called Amazon/Synchrony Bank customer service told me Amazon.com charged me for both Gift Cards and no credit.

Amazon hooked us on Prime years ago with its 2-day delivery. My how times have changed! In the last week alone, I've had 2 significant problems with Prime deliveries.

    1. Amazon Logistics uses independent individuals to deliver packages. As nice and well intentioned as they may be, they don't have a good sense of where to leave a package. Had I not been home to see and then intercept where a delivery guy was leaving our package, I don't know if I ever would have found it.

    2. I ordered a birthday gift for my daughter 8 days prior, on a Monday. She does not live in the boonies. I would expect to arrive by Wednesday of that week, Thursday at the latest. But no, it's going to take up to 8 days to arrive. That's the closest they'll come with a delivery date at this point. So much for Prime!

In the past few months though, that seems to be declining rapidly. Even their Executive Office seems to be changing, and not in a good way. They were always there when things were not resolved at a lower level. The last time I contacted **, I didn't even get a reply. This continuing decline in customer care has me looking elsewhere FIRST, not as a last resort, when shopping online. I'm also trying to shop more locally, which is a plus! Bezo has repeatedly predicted that Amazon will go bankrupt, and in the near future. I won't be surprised if that happens. And perhaps this decline in concern for customers total satisfaction is the start of that journey. If a giant like Sears can go under, so can Amazon.

Now this did change my prime shipping by a day but since it was the following business day that I resolved things, that was acceptable, however, it is now the expected date of delivery and they still have yet to charge it. I chatted with both amazon.com and Synchrony Bank (who issues amazon.com charge) and while they saw the declined attempt, they have not seen another attempt since I requested the payment to be updated. The bank asked to have them "try again" and they stated, "Well, we can request it but it will take 1-3 days."

Why do I pay for a prime membership just to be transferred around and given a bunch of BS for over 2 1/2 hours to get nothing accomplished. I will be seriously considering buying elsewhere and cancelling my prime membership if their customer service attitude is "not my problem - you just have to wait". 7 customer service reps due to chat changes, transfers to wrong dept, and straight up hangups to request reference number to be told, "We don't do that" is just ridiculous for customer service department.

Eventually, I was able to convey the problem and she explained I needed to return the wrong sized item and offered to do that by UPS. I explained that I live in the country and asked if I could return this by UPS. She said yes and stated she would send me a label. When I received the label, I discovered that I had to paid postage. The rep I had spoken with never explained to me that if I chose this option I would have to pay postage. Obviously, if I had known that, I would have declined because the cost to ship would have been more than the value of the wrong socks I was sent.

So I called customer service again and once again spoke with a Filipino rep. I explained to her the problem and she was extremely rude and condescending to me. She was talking over me and saying that it was my fault because the UPS option has to be paid by the customer. I told that this was never explained to me by the first rep I spoke to. Then she said that she was not going to stand for me talking to her that way. I was stunned. I asked her, "Exactly what way am I speaking to you that you find offensive?" No reply. I asked for a supervisor and when she came on, I asked for a US-based rep who professionally and efficiently resolved the problem.

It is outrageous to me that I had done nothing wrong here, and was made to feel by this overseas rep that I was to blame for the error. Amazon not only sent me the wrong product, but the first rep I spoke with failed to inform me that by choosing the UPS option, I would have to pay for it. Amazon needs to stop using cheap overseas labor and hire US-based customer service reps. It may cost more, but their customers are worth it. I spent 20 years writing a book and over the last 8 years, although I've not got many reviews for my hard work on Amazon.com, I do appreciate those that have read it and simply want to leave a review. Amazon.com's policy is when someone submits a book review Amazon.com will NOT accept it unless 'that person spends $50 on amazon.com.' Talk about something that I think is completely and utterly unfair and in my opinion is a way of legally laundering money into their own organization. I've been on Amazon for many, many years and I don't think I've ever purchased anything in one go that's valued over $50.

On Tuesday September 3rd 2019, I called Amazon and requested that a copy of the two reviews that were submitted for my book, out of retaliation (and were eventually removed) he sent to me in an email. I never did get to see whose names were on there. Remember while these reviews were on their website this was public knowledge. The gentleman on the phone said he'd put the request in. I'm still waiting for an amazon.com response and it's now been 9 days. I personally feel that their policies are quite wrong and that they can't be bothered to help a customer when really they get nothing from it.

I never received any calls on my phone and how is it possible that based on 1 phone call you take the delivery back and not even try in an hour or two and don't you understand the importance of delivering the products to the person on a timely manner.

I logged into Amazon and spent less than 15 minutes browsing a list of books needed for a project. Chose nine and ordered them. In that 15 minute period, seven of the nine books increased in price. The books were at different price points, but each increased by one dollar. I contacted Amazon and said it seemed unethical to increase prices of products just placed in one’s browsing history. I was passed from one customer rep to another—5 or 6 reps, each saying they had to pass this to another department.

A rep finally explained that Amazon can increase prices anytime and that yes, this probably was a coincidence that prices for seven of my nine books increased in a 15” period. I have suggested that they post an alert that prices can increase at any second. Have had no response to this and no offer to make any amends. I have been an Amazon And Prime member for many years, have had most of my few issues resolved, but I feel that Amazon’s customer service and ethics have changed. Last week I made Amazon my last, rather than first shopping choice. Used My Library and ThriftBooks for book selections, Walmart and Earth Origins for food items. All easy and pleasant. One thing is certain: When you enter a store and browse, management does not appear at the merchandise table and change the prices.

When is the time going to come when Amazon puts a stop to this Gift Card Scam crap that going on. It happened to me a few days ago when I stupidly fell for a spoofed email. It was not something out of the ordinary because I have done the exact same thing before for this person. Unfortunately this time it was fake. I called Amazon right away a few hours after it happened to see if they could stop whatever purchases were made and don't ship them. They told me they could not unless I knew the account the gift cards were used under. Well I had the gift cards in hand and did not use them and had proof that I was scammed and they still refused. It seems like they are just as bad as these scammers. They get their money regardless and don't give a crap about their real customers, but protect the thieves. I'm not eligible for a refund or to exchange the shoes which had a knot in them it hurts to wear. When I called Amazon I was informed they wanted a new form of payment. They had my payment. I just ordered the shoes. Every excuse why they couldn't refund them or exchange them.

When I went to leave a review it said I was not eligible to leave a review. When I call customer service I was put on hold for a long time, ignored and told I was not eligible. What is being eligible? I paid for the shoes. I paid for Prime. What am I not eligible for? I feel it was an excuse. This is not the first time Amazon has done me wrong. I'm very disappointed now and their customer service and products. It was a horrible experience. Supervisor would not even get on the phone and talk to me. Today my package was scheduled to arrive so I started checking. Minutes after my last check, I saw the notice that my package had been delivered, but it was not at my house. I started walking around the neighborhood and found my package at my neighbor's front door. My house number is in large white letters on both sides of my mailbox and also above my garage door and it's not that difficult to see the difference between 633 and 631. This has happened in the past where a package was delivered on the other side of the circle where I live. Another time my package was left in the middle of my sidewalk. There is no excuse for this except laziness and carelessness and I wonder what would have happened if I had ordered an expensive item. I will probably never do that.

I get or used to receive multiple Amazon deliveries every week. Most of my shopping was done on Amazon. Their prices are not very competitive on most of their merchandise but it was convenient to shop there. They make it very hard to contact them in anyway and when it happens they call you at their convenience. They make lots of mistakes such as sending my packages to addresses that I have never lived at, they send the wrong items, send broken items. I have no reason why I put up with Amazon’s unprofessionalism for so long.

I ordered a 6ft computer cable. They delivered a 3ft cable instead. I went to return the package stating that the cable was the wrong length and since it was the wrong item and Amazon’s computer immediately sends me another cable and I thought it was great until I saw it was another 3ft cable which is wrong for the second time. It took me a long time but I found out how to talk with Amazon. I clicked and they called me when they wanted to. I didn’t like waiting around my phone to fix their two mistakes but I did. I was called by a lady that could speak English just good enough for me to understand and within a minute she stopped the order that was coming to me at no cost and told me to order another one. I have up till now spent thousands of dollars with Amazon and they gave me bad attitude over $6.25. I will never spend another penny at Amazon. Walmart and many others are just as easy and they seem to care.

After I completed it and selected my 3 free choices (only pay S & H). I was supposed to be charged $4.99, $4.95 and I wasn't sure about the 3rd amount so I signed into my bank. To my SHOCK, I was charged $44.67, $49.95, and $131.85. Amazon customer service said it was not their survey. I changed password. Then I researched the companies. Those companies are alive and selling their goods on Amazon today. Spent all day on the phone Saturday.

The fraud dept. was to call today. I received an email..."Amazon takes all security-related matters very seriously and your account security is our top priority. We have policies and security measures in place to insure that your personal information remains secure. (Here's the best part) If you have concerns regarding your account, the best action you can take is to choose a strong password". I'm not the only one this has happened to. I told Amazon that they need to warn others. Amazon took NO action. I'm out over $200. Oh, the subject that they responded to is "Thank you for your inquiry." I have been an Amazon Prime member for many years. I have had issues in the past with order delivery and it was not too difficult to get help. Now, however, everything has changed. I had two orders that were to be delivered the same day (Prime 2-day shipping). Around 6 pm on the delivery day, I realized I had not received either order. Upon checking the order status, I was told both orders were delivered at 12:32 pm. Nope! Never got them and I was home all day. So I go to try and get help. Very difficult. After navigating a few unhelpful screens I found an automated chat bot. This chat robot asks a few questions and tells me to wait 36 hours because the delivery company can scan the order as delivered, but still has 36 hours to deliver the package. So much for 2-day delivery.

I finally got to chat with a live person, though I can't tell you how I did it now because getting Amazon support is nearly impossible. After telling me to wait 36 hours, she stopped responding to my chat responses. I waited 36 hours...surprise, surprise...still no packages. Finally found a phone number (don't ask me how to get it because I don't think I could ever find it again) and spoke with a real person who issued me a refund. This couldn't be done 36 hours earlier? I could have reordered and had my items! In the past, I contacted the carrier directly and two hours later had my package. Amazon keeps charging more for Prime but seems to provide worse and worse service. Definitely rethinking my Prime membership.

The products you select on Amazon are rated by customers so you get a good idea what you're ordering. It's the Amazon service that you don't see reviewed, therefore I have three cautions for consumers I have personally experienced.

    1) I received a broken bottle, where the content was all over the ill-packaged item. It was a third party purchase. I requested a refund for the bottle from the third party seller and was never contacted by the seller.

    2) I requested a vitamin that has two formulas that are very similar, as well as similar appearances. Amazon shipped me the wrong product. I requested a refund, was told I would get a refund, shipped the items back to Amazon. Never got a refund. I do not have luck purchasing food stuffs from Amazon.

    3) I purchased an Amazon Prime membership for a birthday present for a daughter but first I wanted her to see if she liked Amazon Prime to know if it would benefit her. She requested a Prime trial for seven days. When I purchased the membership as a gift Amazon notified her she could not in fact have a membership because she was in a trial period, she could not apply my purchase of a gift subscription for the year after the trial period ended either. Her only choice was to have a $119.00 gift card. Not my intention.

Please bear these things in mind if you're making these purchases on Amazon. I'd tell them but they don't have a contact.

They refunded customers before you even get items back, as of right now I have not seen one of the items that was refunded. Then the only way to get it back is by contacting the customer?? That is crazy that they can go in and take your money but now I am responsible for trying to get the items back when I personally didn't allow a refund from my account. I asked Amazon to look into it three times and they just said wait for a response those three times (once a month). Next I asked Amazon to act on my behalf to get a refund and they claimed then they couldn't because a year had gone by. I had never been told a year is all the time you have to complain and I hadn't demanded a refund or return in that time. I was so dissatisfied with my recent experience with Amazon.com Customer Service. I’ve been a Subscribe & Save customer for over 5 years with no issues but my order was charged a week early this month and had a devastating ripple effect on my finances. What happened is this: on Tuesday, one item charged 7 days early. In 5 years I’ve never been charged 7 days before shipping. It’s always charged 2 days (3 day at the most). I called Customer Service and they apologized. Said they had no idea why it would have charged so early. They verbally told me that shouldn’t happen and that they would look into the problem. The NEXT day, the same exact thing happened. Only this time for 12 products!!!! My account was overdrawn and my bank charged me for each individual transaction (12) for a total of 240 in NSF fees. I was devastated.

I called a 2nd time to talk to Customer Service. They verbally told me they HAD reimbursed me for $240 and I could re-purchase EVERYTHING I had on Subscribe & Save and be reimbursed for ALL the items for my inconvenience. They didn’t understand how I was charged so early, that wasn’t correct - they only charge 2 days before the products arrive. My case was bumped up to a manager. That Customer Service agent said she’d call me back on the 5th. I confirmed 3 times that I would be reimbursed for all 25 items. I felt valued and heard but that verbal affirmation was about to be proven wrong. I was only reimbursed $73 and I didn’t get the call until the 6th. A little concerning but we were awaiting the arrival of Hurricane Dorian and I thought they may be in the hurricane’s path.

I get the call on the 6th but she can’t hear me. She calls me back on the 7th. Says I will only be reimbursed $240. And that she never agreed to me ordering ALL items. She said it was my fault for ordering the items early (????). She then said Subscribe & Save always charges 7 days in advance (????). So these are two very different reasons for the ‘problem’ which she was adamant was my fault (????). They even admitted the system shouldn’t have charged me so early. After being so assured I was being taken care of, they completely went back on their word. So disappointed.

I like shopping online, and most the time I have had a decent experience with Amazon. It is usually pretty trustworthy. But I wanted to mention what has been happening lately. I bought quite a few items for my computer that I am building, some parts from Newegg, some from eBay, and some from Amazon. In each case I used the free shipping option, and I do not have Amazon Prime. I received my items from Newegg and eBay before Amazon had even shipped anything. eBay took 4 days to get to me, Newegg took 5 days, and Amazon? It took 14 days to get to me! Now I know Amazon Prime would help, but why should I pay a company yearly so that they can just live up to the standards of other online sellers.

Also, Amazon has this fancy little feature that I can put extra instructions on the delivery. So I made sure and described where I lived there, just to make sure the packages come to the right spot. But that didn't help. Amazon still delivered the packages to my neighbor. I am just glad I have friendly neighbors. Another frustrating part is that I can't review the seller on Amazon, because the packages were sold and shipped by Amazon. Does it really take 7 days just to get the package on the road? I just know that from now on, if the price is the same between Amazon and either eBay or Newegg, I think I will go with the 5 days shipping over the last minute-ship-it-in-one-day service.

I have seen a lot of shifty service from nearly every corporation that exists as they are all WAY too big to care about 1,10,100 or even 1000 disgruntled customers. However, Amazon takes the prize for most pathetic, non existent customer service. I ordered a phone case Monday morning. My "Prime" membership gave me two day "guaranteed" delivery. Which in reality meant, we will try to get it there by Friday 8 pm. (5 days.) Maybe it's because it's a US based company and given the well know fact that the average intelligence level of Americans isn't even considered par to the rest of the world, they thought I couldn't tell time? They are likely unaware that for less than a dollar I can mail a letter 3000 miles across Canada and it will arrive in 3 to 4 days tops. This company is so out of touch with reality that at 5 pm they sent me a message saying they tried to deliver the product at 6 52 pm.

I was even on the phone with Amazon well before 6 52 pm attempting to explain this is impossible without a time machine. Their highly educated reps could not understand the clear discrepancy between the email and reality but assured me it would arrive tomorrow. I asked about the guarantee, and was again told, it would arrive tomorrow. They claimed the business was closed so they could not deliver, then over and over simply refused to acknowledge the fact that the time they said they delivered, had still not even occurred on the clock. My relearned statement..."You're telling me the guy tried to deliver it an hour from now and couldn't?" Was always met with, "Can I put you on hold." I felt as though I was talking to a post.

So... Visa has already agreed to give me my 50 bucks back for Prime membership of "undelivered service and or product." I am so done with Amazon. I have literally received more honorable service from marijuana dealers. Hopefully one day we will find a prime minister or president who has the courage to hold corporations accountable for "guarantees", false promises and outright theft. Doubt it though, we have way more evolving to do. Amazon will never see another dollar from me.

We pay $119 a year for Amazon Prime and in the last 3-4 weeks, we have had late deliveries practically every order. When we complained were even told on one instance that it was because of a hurricane (the package left Phoenix, Arizona, arrived at Las Vegas, Nevada then the final destination in Utah.) that was affecting my order! When you actually check the tracking it is because Amazon has shipped the packages with USPS Parcel Select and USPS Bound Printed Matter. Both services are NOT 2-day shipping options. In fact, both of those shipping options can take up to 10 business days to be delivered.

A complaint usually gives a $5 promotional voucher valid on Amazon only purchases and a fake apology and an explanation of how it will not happen again (and it does happen again, repeatedly). In fact, I feel that very little is done about the continuous late deliveries unless I file a complaint about each late order with BBB (which I have started to do and I advise everyone to do if they require action).

We pay $119 a year for Prime, we certainly deserve better service, better customer service, and better accountability when Amazon fails to uphold that service for which we pay for. Amazon also need to stop blaming the couriers when it was clearly sent via low-priority shipping options by Amazon! UPS and USPS have no control over the method of shipping, they just deliver according to the service requested by Amazon.

I have been an Amazon Prime member for so many years, that I can't even remember a time I didn't have Amazon Prime and for many many years I've loved it. When Amazon created their own delivery system called Amazon Logistics however, things went terribly wrong on my end. Amazon Logistics has lost, misplaced, misdelivered, and delayed so many of my packages that you'd wonder why I'm still an Amazon Prime Member.

Truth is, I stayed in hopes that Amazon Logistics would get better in their delivery service. Not only that, but I've loved Amazon for so long I didn't want to just cut ties and end my membership. I have come to the conclusion that the drivers of Amazon Logistics don't feel like driving out to certain areas by a certain time so they say that the Package is still on the way but delayed or that they couldn't enter the place to deliver. The "Still on the way but delayed" is annoying but tolerable. However, when they tell me they could not get into the apartment complex because the business was closed - it is beyond infuriating because there is a gate code connected directly to my cell phone that they flat out never use - and I can't even remember how many times this has now happened to me.

I have contacted Amazon tirelessly over this issue. At the start, Amazon Logistics continuously was losing my packages or delivering them to the wrong location. That eventually got better but their new thing is to not deliver or delay the delivery because: They can't get into the complex or because they can't find the complex.

Again, I have been constantly contacting Amazon about this. Each time I have gotten basically the same answers: "I'm sorry for the delay but this does happen sometimes and we would greatly appreciate your patience" or "If I was in your position, I would feel the same way. I will send your concerns to the correct team and my leaders to make sure that problems like this are minimized in the future" or "I'm so sorry this is happening, but we can offer you a $5 promo for the inconvenience." The list goes on but of course, at this point, I don't believe any of it. I don't think my complaints go anywhere at all and they just say those things to try and mollify me.

I honestly don't care for the promo and have told them each time that I don't want it. They put it in my account anyway but that does not fix the problem of my items not coming on time when I pay for a membership that gives me free 2 day shipping and yet my items are coming 3-5 days late each time. I don't know if I'm jinxed or not and if I'm literally the single human being going through this issue with Amazon Logistics. I certainly hope not - but if I am literally the only one dealing with terrible delivery service from Amazon Logistics, then I must have done something horrific in a past life. Truly Amazon is great and Prime is great - but only with USPS or UPS. Amazon Logistics has just traumatized me and while I'd like to give more stars, the fact that my issues have not been properly taken care of or resolved in years, they get 1 star.

I have never faced such a feedback-resistant team in my life! They were robotically answering my calls and sending me monotonous, unhelpful emails, followed by absolutely zero action!

Hiding behind all sorts of implausible excuses - ‘the seller is not reachable’ (in a place like Dubai, where the mobile phone and fibre-optic internet services are nothing less than 4G!), ‘we are unable to cancel your order’ (shipping it ten hours after I had clearly cancelled it in writing), ‘you can cancel the delivery when it is delivered’, ’the refund could then take up to one week to be issued’, etc., etc. Extremely frustrating conversations! I even had a customer service manager here call me from a U.K. number (with dodgy call quality!), who took nearly ten minutes to get the order number right, followed by an unkept commitment to initiate the refund. This was the general tone of the team here. A despicable experience for any long-term customer. I had virtually lost all hope of resolving this and convincing them that this was definitely not expected of the megabrand that they were representing! Dejected! To say the least.

Out of sheer frustration, I emailed my grievance to Jeff Bezos, of course not expecting a reply from a trillionaire sitting 7,400 miles away and then again, why would he bother responding to someone that he has never met or heard of before? Guess what happened? The response came. Prompt and extremely effective! Within a few hours, the entire mess by the team here was sorted out and the refund initiated. His response mentioned that he will take “any action necessary”. Any action. That is how much the founder of Amazon loves his customers. It’s not by fluke that they are No. 1 and will continue to remain so. Their founder’s principles are strong and his corporate vision is clear. Nothing but the best, for the most valuable asset that a business can have - its customers. I wish this absolute Legend all the very best.

I would advise customers with serious complaints to address them directly to him and feel safe in the knowledge that they will be resolved. I will continue shopping with Amazon only because Jeff founded the company. Thank you Sir, for caring, when you easily could have looked the other way and ignored my communication in the bulk of emails that the richest man of earth is bound to receive. The corporate world and the other global business icons have so much to learn from you. So, so much. Thank you.

Amazon started off as the model for customer service for internet-based companies. It's given up efforts to maintain that lofty status in favor of the crappy service that many companies now offer. It's near impossible to use their website to find a mechanism for a customer who wants to make a complaint. The chat service they offer doesn't work (I tried 5 times). When you ask for a callback you get an Asian agent who barely speaks English speaking to you from a room that has a cacophony of noise from other agents, making any significant communication impossible. The agent is helpless to provide any more service than you can get on the website. Amazon, you're blowing it big-time. Your initial focus on customer service was part of what made you grow. You've forgotten where you came from.

I ❤️ Amazon. Low prices. Good deals. You have your occasional mishaps like my daughter's party. I ordered toys for activities. 1 item never showed. I called. They said they would resend. PS It was too late for that. I have two younger kids. They find everything. We just hit spring break. I had Prime 2 day delivery any. I waited to order any. I got a refund. I had to go to Five Below. Ok 3rd party's description and you end up missing some and you're like, "Can't they just send me what's missing? I love the rest." "Oh no. We will just give you 10% off or send it all back." "Ok cool. I'll just keep it."

Wait 3 weeks. No I'll just buy what I'm missing but just resent. Downy Unstoppable scent boosters are buy 3 get $10 off so I bought three for my sisters, 3 for me. I only got four so I'm like okay. I go on Amazon. I go to the link that shows contact the seller. The link to this seller it goes no more completely blank so then I end up calling Amazon and I tell them what's going on. I got put on hold twice and then I got transferred to another person then tells me that it's going to take three business days for them to do an investigation for the product. I'm like, "What?" Ok for my missing scent booster. Ok and that they're going to do an investigation on their warehouse. Their actual Warehouse 'cause it came from Amazon. I'm like, "What? Okay."

So I have three kids so I can't wait 3 at going to my sis that gives me one so I go ahead and made a purchase so I can have what I need till all said and done. So I go back to my life, kids, dinner, bla bla life stories I know but with this I get my kids down. I lay down. I start to think???? I've had problems before. It's always a 3rd party. This time it came out of their warehouse. I'm getting the runaround why. I started to google and it was heart breaking but made sense. The 3rd parties can't compete with Amazon and to be true these little guys aren't making much either because Amazon doesn't care what happens to their stuff. No problem. ⚠️ But if it's in Amazon warehouse then I read that they work their employees and get big tax write-offs. In fact they promised States and don't dish but in fact they just kinda of don't.

I'm the one really helping this to all small guys to maybe some fam to a end which kind of sucks because a single mother of three I do need that low price. I'm starting to wonder at what cost am I going so I just guess everybody should Google because I'm stuck in a rock and a hard place my damn self. I what point I need to save but on other you feel so bad as hell. What am I really participating in???? With that how can I make it if I don't such for the lowest price.

Usually I have a positive experience with them until the one time I have to call about an issue with shipping. In this case what I got is disinterested, unempowered associates who offered gift cards not actual solutions. I needed to be sure an order arrived on time for a customer job. It seemed very apparent all she could do is read my order information (the very same information I already had access to).

Three days after placing the order still it has not shipped. This was being fulfilled by Amazon mind you. No third party involvement here. After ordering they took my money and left me with nothing of use. I asked several times to investigate the issue and the rep said she could not. I did want a gift card I wanted something concrete that my order would ship on time. Later she promised a confirmation email with tracking and again it never happened.

Classic Amazon - advertise a sale item, allow you to place and order, but then can’t fulfill it and end up cancelling it leaving you without a product which in turn costs you twice as much or more to find a replacement item. They have no problem charging me for my Prime service or anything else, but have horrible service in fulfilling product orders! Don’t order from amazon if you actually want to receive what you’re ordering. It’s better to get it from a reputable site that can properly manage inventory and customer service. If it’s not important and doesn’t matter much, then amazon is an OK place.

All links to cancellation lead to steps as to how to get a REFUND--NOT A CANCELLATION--implying I have to wait for delivery, then return it to China, then wait how much longer for a refund? The issue was I was browsing Amazon.com on mobile when I received a pop up to download the app and log in for the first time and I'd receive a $10 promotional credit toward my next purchase of $20 or more. I followed the link and downloaded it straight away and logged in. The instructions said it would take up to 7 days to receive the email with the $10 code. After 14 days of not receiving it, I contacted support. Yes I checked my spam folder every day. I explained this to 4 different representatives. They requested a screenshot of the promotional email. How can I provide that when the issue is that I never received one. Instead, they wanted a screenshot of the promotion screen. How can I show that when it was a one time pop up, and the promotion is now over!? Because I could provide neither of those, they basically told me too bad.

Their complete lack of understanding of the issue is excruciatingly annoying. It isn't even about the $10 promotional credit anymore. They didn't honor their promotion and gave me an excruciatingly difficult time regarding the issue. I logged out of Amazon on browser and app, uninstalled the app, and will not be ordering from Amazon ever again. I can only imagine if I had to contact support about an order over money I've already paid. I'll dodge the bullet and remove myself from this company.

Unfortunately, Amazon has no support for it's sellers. Bezos has turned over the customer support team to India, which they have trouble understanding issues. If a customer files the holy Grail of complaints, (the A to Z guarantee) he gets his money back guaranteed. Seller cannot win. Buyer claims he didn't receive it, even though tracking says he did, seller loses and Amazon gives him his money and seller takes a hit. Buyer claims no longer needed, item damaged, changed mind, inaccurate website description, buyer wants his money back BUT he wants to keep the product. With the very high fees sellers are paying to Amazon to sell their wares, Bezos has offered no support to them whatsoever. I thought eBay was bad in terms of helping to support their sellers and their encroaching high fees but Amazon takes the cake.

Indians sent an email kicking off merchandise because we are not authorized to sell it. You need "permission" to sell almost everything on Amazon the exact same stuff you sell on eBay WITHOUT permission (get a clue Amazon, you're living in the dark ages). We fire back and say, "We are allowed to sell it." They say we need to follow these steps to get permission, we fire back with an email saying, "We already have confirmation saying we have permission" and sent them proof. They go "Great, then you can sell your product". We tell them, "Please relist the product you just kicked off." They tell us we (the sellers) need permission to sell.... This is STUPIDITY at its finest. Bottom line, eBay is not great for sellers but it's a lot better than Amazon ever thought they could be. Selling on Amazon simply sucks.

So I call and literally argue with some lady for 45 min saying no one came so she puts me on hold and comes back a couple min later and says, "Oh no no one came. They were misscans." Mind you this is after the order said GUARANTEED by the 22nd and it’s the 23. Now I’m going out of town in the morning and they are saying they can’t do anything about it when they still deliver for another 2 hours at the time. You GUARANTEED it by yesterday. I let it go cause I still had today but now I find out their driver lied and said they went to my house but didn’t but they still won’t bring it to me.

I am a manager of a company and I would have drove it myself to make the customer happy especially after not getting what was GUARANTEED for him. It’s pathetic and terrible business practice. The below is the short version of my issue with Amazon (prime member for over a decade) but it can be summarized with the following:
    a) Outsourced customer service.
    b) US based "escalated" customer service folk work out of their homes, and are ruder than India.

    c) Receptionists at "corporate" literally have a God-complex.

ZERO reply from the behemoth that is Amazon - ee's could not care a bit, and are NOT allowed to be creative and/or make decisions. This was my communication to Bezos et al: The issue is as follows: I ordered item [Ordered on August 18, 2019 Order# **] - SPECIFICALLY because it was PRIME DELIVERY to be delivered on Aug 20, 2019 by UPS. On the early morning of Aug 20, 2019, I noticed (received NO update from Amazon) on my UPS app that the order was delayed due to "severe weather or natural disaster" by UPS in Raleigh, NC - I checked - there was no "severe weather" or any such thing in NC or Virginia. Again - the EXACT reason why I ordered this item was precisely for the delivery, nor was there ANY ETA for the product.

I contacted UPS - and, frankly, the people who answer the phone at UPS so-called customer service were, forgive me, useless. They simply kept repeating the same line, over and over and over again. Earlier, I had contacted Amazon customer service via text (before I called UPS) and I was told that if I wanted to, I could have an immediate refund, and Amazon would simply recall the package - but the Amazon rep asked me to give it another hour two to see if this was just the "usual" UPS glitch. So I did. By 9am - still nothing - no updates (9am on Aug 20, 2019).

I then call back Amazon customer service, to be told that NO I cannot have a refund until the item is returned. I told them if this doesn't get delivered then what? So I do not have an item when promised then I have to wait for a refund for something we don't know when it would arrive? Answer was - yes. I call back UPS for the final time - UPS now says that and quote - "Amazon, as usual, lied to you – they picked a shipping speed that takes 3-5 days." I told UPS that by their OWN delivery map, UPS Ground is only ONE day from NC to VA. UPS person on the phone denies this and stated that again I quote "Amazon routinely lies."

I then call Amazon in Seattle, and I am transferred to "escalated" customer service - first, several of my attempts at speaking with escalated customer service result in my calls being dropped. Every single one of the "escalated customer service people" tell me there is nothing that can done. I plead with the Amazon HQ operator to let me talk to someone who can make an actual decision - this is for my daughter at school, and I don't have the money to buy beds over and over and over again. I was hung up on – for the second time. I called my bank, and in their opinion, between what UPS showed on their site about the package, and the non-action by Amazon, this was lost, and they were not going to honor the withdrawal.

My last resort was to contact Amazon again via the website - that sorted (so I thought) the situation out - PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED EMAIL CHAIN - Amazon IS FULLY AWARE that the payment was reversed by my bank, and Amazon has successfully (per UPS) recalled the item. Therefore, the item (of course) was never in my possession and, therefore, no payment is due. In fact, as you can see from the attached, the Amazon rep credited my account with $15 for my...inconvenience. I thought - through the help of the online reps – that this matter was closed. Incidentally, not only has the credit not appeared in my account, but it seems that my account has been stripped of all payment information, which perhaps is again being used by fraudsters.

Therefore - I would like to get immediate notification from Amazon "corporate" that: a) this matter is satisfactory closed, and b) proof of communication to TRS Recovery Services, that there is nothing to recover, and that my account - for which I pay monthly(!) - is in good order. Regarding the threatening email re “TRS Recovery Services: a) reprocess payments, b) make any reporting to any - ANY - credit bureau of any sort regarding this transaction will be added to the complaint I have already filed with the attorney generals' offices of both Virginia (where I reside) and Washington state. Please also note that I am in touch with local news media in Washington DC about this whole "affair." c) will result in me going as much public with this issue as I can, filing as many complaints as I can, and taking legal action. Thank you for your time and attention, and I look forward to receiving a reply by email by August 26, 2019.

Received a package this week for an Amazon order and was surprised that the order came from Walmart.com, not Amazon. The box was a Walmart.com shipping box and the return label said Walmart.com. Checking the Walmart.com website the exact same item was listed for sale for $10 less and free shipping. Complained to the Amazon seller and asked to return the item because it was shipped from Walmart.com yet listed on Walmart.com for less.

There is a place on the Amazon returns page to check "found for less elsewhere". The seller was happy to let me return the item - oh by the way, for a 20% restocking fee! That would make what I paid for the item a whopping $22 more than Walmart.com. I now feel that I have been too complacent when shopping at Amazon and will be more vigilant in the future. I intend to complain to Amazon about this practice and have given the seller a poor rating but doubt that any of it will do any real good.

There's no 'go back to cart' button/option. Hahahaha! It is insane! I literally have to close my browser and open Amazon site again. For years! I've been doing that because I need to double check or make some changes to my shopping cart. Really?! I mean, really?! It is almost 2020 outside. I feel like I'm back in 90s. It's Amazon, how could this happen and last for so long???!

Do not use Amazon. They do not care about their customers, their employees are horribly trained, and they make no attempt to resolve issues. Their security is outdated and beyond ridiculous. I'm going to make every attempt to cost them as many customers I can. I am going to post to every social media possible and if they only lose 1 customer, I'll still be happy. I am asking for the most basic fix and they can not provide it.

Always fresh food, packaged and delivered without any issues. I love this service! There are so many items to choose from and I order things that I can't find locally in my grocery stores too. I order at night, wake up and my delivery is on my front porch.

So I have had an Amazon account for YEARS! I changed my cell phone number 6 yrs ago. I have been trying to change it on my account and I can't because some idiot with an EMPTY account is using my number to sign in!!! I told Amazon that this is my number and I have had it for 6 freaking years and they are telling me there is nothing they can do. So somewhere in the world some jerk is using my number that I can PROVE I own and they won't do anything about it!

Actually speaking to a person at Amazon proves impossible. It required multiple links and entries to be able to speak to someone. My questions was rather simple. I have a manufacturer coupon for $7 off a product I want to order and have ordered previously. I can use this coupon at a local retailer or through a mail order retailer but wanted to know if it could be used at Amazon. After going through the numerous hurdles Amazon requires before being able to speak to a person, the person with whom I spoke, gave such an incomprehensible answer, that I still don't know the answer. So, while using Amazon often proves a better cost saving, it appears using a local retailer is more cost-effective when having manufacturer coupons.
