I love the variety of Amazon. It is my go to place for online shopping. Some prices are higher than at other online stores and some are lower. It’s always best to shop around before placing orders. It would be great if Amazon started using a comparison feature. All in all it’s great! I would recommend items not being delivered by Canada Post as they don’t contact the person to inform of delivery. CP just leaves a delivery notice in the mailbox. The consumer then has to go to the post office to pick up the order. I find this frustrating and time consuming.

I ordered two items from Amazon. The delivery was due no later than today. I received a notification that USPS attempted delivery of my package today which is a blatant lie! I was physically at the UPS Store when I received notice that stated USPS was unable to deliver. THEY MADE NO ATTEMPT! When I called Amazon I was given the runaround and placed on hold. No discount was offered. This was an Amazon Prime item. So once again Amazon makes promises and does not keep them. They are very very dishonest in my opinion. Thank you.

I love everything about Amazon, except when I got locked out of my account. I had to call their customer service line and I got a guy with a thick Indian accent. I couldn't understand half of his security questions and then he tells me I didn't answer enough questions to his satisfaction. Some of the questions I couldn't answer accurately without access to my account. I have a wife and two daughters ordering products and I don't know the last 5 items that were ordered and I don't know exactly how long I've been a Prime member. 4,5 or 6 years...I don't know.
I then ask their social media rep for a phone line where I can talk to an American, but they just tell me to call the same number as before. They ignore my emails and the social media rep quit answering my requests. Surely Jeff Bezos can afford a customer service line with an American. When you have to return an item, customer service is great, get locked out of your account and customer service is horrible.

I ordered several maternity shirts off of Amazon. Not only did they arrive on time but they were each individually wrapped which was great because it was raining the day it was delivered. I ordered both black and white and the colors were spot on. The white was a crisp white, and the black was a solid bold black. There was no faded colors and no marks on the shirts.

Amazon is lagging behind in refunding to customers, while the world is moving faster with payment transfers in minutes/hours, Amazon is taking 10 days or more. My refund of Rs.14,999/- got blocked even after 10 days. Still is pending. Their customer service executives are helpless with the policy matters. Their behaviour towards customer's money is like a saturated monopolistic by presuming themselves like a legend without any threats. They have to aware that those who doesn't care & rigid with uncustomer friendly policies will perish, sooner or later. Top management to analyse & to fix, else the detractors % gets increased & becomes suicidal future to the company.

Ordered something and it stated as delivered but never received the product. I called them immediately to contact the delivery person and they said that's not an option. Took 5 contact before refund. If it was in America they will be sued 'cause it is India they give a damn. Even after the product stated delivered I was asked to wait to get a refund despite their own tracking confirmed delivery. I've purchased lot of things in the past and am Amazon Prime member. Yet this is the kind of treatment when it comes to refund of petty money. Pathetic and disgusting.

I issued a new order for $600 and after 2 days I got a message that it was refused by customer (NOT TRUE) and after another day that it was cancelled. Nobody in Amazon could say by whom and the gift card was not delivered again.

Ordered a new mattress. Took the day off of work to receive my bed. Tracked the shipping, it was "guaranteed" to arrive today. Item was not received by "guaranteed" date. Now I will miss another day's wages and commissions due to fraudulent guarantee. Terrible service, worst of any company currently in existence, and this is no exaggeration. They've cost me hundreds of dollars, and offered a $20 gift card. This company has a fraudulent "guarantee" policy. Do not use Amazon for anything, heed this warning. Any company that acts in a fraudulent manner isn't worth using, and if you rely on the guarantee, it means nothing to this company. I hope they are not allowed to sell life sustaining products, the client would be dead, but the corpse might get a $20 gift card. Absolutely abhorrent.

So I opened a credit card via Amazon but never received the card, yet my Amazon account automatically switched to the new card without asking me first. So obviously I didn't have the card number to open an online banking account and obviously to became late. As soon as they called me I paid it in full and they reassured me that everything was fine and they sending me a new card.
When I finally received my new card it didn't work and when I called them they informed me that they closed my account. I wouldn't have had an issue with closing the account, since I wanted to myself but I knew how it would affect my credit. My issue was though it wasn't charged off (since I paid in FULL) and I had all of the fees reversed, it dropped my credit score about 100 points (WAS: 788 Now: 686)! I went from having Excellent credit to having borderline credit.
When I called in I had no empathy, the first "supervisor" I spoke with basically blamed me accusing me of simply not paying my bill. The second one listened more and even sent me to the credit department and they all said that it was the truth and they couldn't "lie" for me? Really Lie?! Um... YOU GUYS DID THIS... YOU GUYS have no empathy and literally screwed up my credit over your mistake.

I would like to share my experience with Amazon with other customers by providing this review. In September this year my son has ordered from Amazon Huk Men's CYA Camo Packable Rain Jacket, large size that was in stock. So, when he received the Jacked and put it on he realized that size of jacket is small instead of ordered large size. He did not make big deal of it and gifted it to me, since it fits on me well. Thanks to Amazon, I was thinking at that time. I thought that this kind of mistake from Amazon cannot happen again and I have ordered for my son large size jacket again. I was a bit surprised when Amazon send me also small size jacket instead of large size.
I desperately wanted that large size jacket for my son and probably it was my mistake, as I realized later. My first order was unsuccessful as well as my son’s. So, now I had two small size jackets in my possession. Since my son’s son or my grandson James is only 2.5 years old now it is too long time for him to wait until jacket can fit on him. So, I decided to return small size jacket back to Amazon, but this time I was smarter (that I thought) and provided a comment what I am or customers can think about Amazon when receiving small size jacket instead of large size and probably it was my second mistake.
My wife and my daughter were trying to stop me to order third time large size jacket, but I thought that third time I should be more lucky (it is like playing roulette in casino). So, this time I was much, much more smarter and probably it was my third mistake. Before ordering third time large size jacket I call to Amazon, actually they call be back, and I very patiently explain them why I am calling, why I am a bit upset receiving third time small size instead of large size jacket and why I still trust in Amazon and desperately want same large size jacket.
So, I was very happy that Amazon call me (there is no phone number that you can call Amazon) and they told me this time Amazon will check if everything is ok with my order and my order already on its way to me and there is no way that I will get small size jacket again instead of large size. So, I thought that got green light on my order and that so desired large size jacket almost in my hands. Probably you already now unhappy end of my unwanted experience with Amazon. Just a thought, maybe I should order small size and get so desired large size? Good idea! Forgot to tell you that Amazon gave me $10 credit for inconvenience. Should I keep it and make an order again?

I ordered two package from Amazon in a week period. Both packages never showed up at my house. When I called about the packages, they apologized and said would send me out a new one. That was fine the first time but after the second time I questioned why am I paying for Prime if they can not get me any of the packages I ordered. They basically told me they try to get it to me in a couple days but they really don't care if I receive it. I then asked for my money back for Amazon Prime since they we not doing what they said they would by getting me my packages in a reasonable time frame and they refused.
They told me I have to keep their crappy service until my year is up. Now three weeks later Amazon is saying they are going to charge me twice for the first package that they had to resend (cause I never received the first package). I was in the market for a new Ecobee Smart Thermostat and did some shopping. Amazon had a price of $299.99 - $314.99 with tax. I decided to order it with another item and at the same time try Amazon Prime. The order was promised in two days. I was shocked when one item arrived in one day, on day two I decided to track my thermostat to see where it was, and I could not find the order. I contacted the shipping company and they told me my order was not in their system and referred me to Amazon customer service.
The service representative was great, he called me three days in a row, and sent a couple of emails, finally he confirmed my order was lost. He issued me a refund for $314.99 and told me to reorder the thermostat. The new price was $368.48, over $50 more, but he said he would issue me a refund because of all the problems with my order. The refund was for $110.54, which was about $60 less than my original order, this definitely made up for all the mistakes. Needless to say I was HAPPY.
The day my new thermostat was supposed to arrive, I got a email from Amazon telling me that it would not be delivered and I was to receive a refund of $257.94. So now 10 days later, I have no thermostat and have corresponded to Amazon a half dozen time for nothing. I was not so Happy anymore. I called Amazon immediately and inquired about my cancelled order. I was told it was lost or damaged, no one seemed to know, and that I would have to reorder the thermostat again. My first thought was, "why don't they just ship me a new thermostat?, why cancel an order and make me reorder?"
I was also advised since it was lost twice that I should maybe not reorder for a week. I then asked when I reordered what would the price be? I was told the full $368.48 no discount at all. They would not even give me the price from the original order. I cannot believe a company the size of Amazon would not honor the price that they sold me the thermostat for. They told me, I was given a one time discount and that was it. How can I have been given a one time discount when I never received my thermostat? Once I realized that I was getting nowhere, I asked to speak to someone who could tell me when it would be safe to order the thermostat again and if they would honor their discount? I was politely told, No. I find it hard to believe that Amazon got to where they are today by treating customers like this.

I considered not renewing my membership but let’s be honest- I’m keeping my Amazon Prime. This review is to say Amazon is still the most convenient and mostly reliable way to shop but if you get the wrong item or there’s a delay in shipping or your package was sent to the wrong address- don’t expect to get an American on the customer service line.

The most impressive thing about Amazon.com used to be its unparalleled customer service. That's the key thing that has kept me a member for 15 years and a Prime member for the last several years. I'm not sure what changed, or why it changed, but since August 2019 that customer service has taken a nose-dive right into the toilet. In 15 years I've only had a handful of Amazon purchases go awry, and in every case I was able to shoot an email to customer service, and within 72 hours Amazon had made good, either by issuing a refund or over-nighting a replacement order at no extra charge.
Apparently those days are gone. Beginning this past summer the email contact option went away. Also, you can no longer call Amazon directly about an order issue. The only form of contacts left are on-line "chat", or you can leave them a message and ask THEM to call YOU, at their convenience. Right off the bat this is Amazon telling us that THEIR time is more valuable than OUR time.
With email, I could make a report, and check for replies at my convenience. With "chat" I have to sit by the computer and interact with an Amazon chat person, sometimes for half an hour or more. In the past 3 months my experience has been that the person you chat with is never able to help you with your issue, without "escalating" your case 2 or 3 times, meaning you get shuffled from one chat-person to the next several times in every chat -- and you get to retell your story 3 or 4 times.
Did I mention that before you even get to a chat \person\, you first have to play 20 questions with the chat 'bot? The phone situation is even more ridiculous. You used to be able to dial an actual customer service rep. Now you call in a request for them to call you back -- and they return your call, once again, at THEIR convenience, not yours. Even all this might be tolerable had Amazon maintained the same level of service they used to have. Unfortunately, that also seems to be gone with the wind.
Recently I ordered a dozen items in a single order which, for reasons best known to Amazon, was split into two shipments. One was sent by UPS, and arrived 2 days later without incident. The other was shipped by USPS and never arrived. On the third day I contacted Amazon "chat" about the missing shipment and was told that it had "been delivered on Wednesday (the day before). It hadn't. Amazon chat advised me to wait another day, and then contact them again if the shipment still hadn't arrived. I waited; it didn't, and I contacted Amazon again. At this point, as recently as last July, customer service would have offered me my choice of a replacement shipment or a refund. This time, I was told to "wait three business days, and contact us again if the shipment doesn't arrive."
I waited three more days; the shipment didn't arrive. I checked with USPS and they told me they had left the shipment "in your garage". I don't have a garage. I checked with neighbors up and down the street; none of them had seen the shipment. So, I contacted Amazon chat again. I was told that I needed to wait three more business days and contact them again. I did this, and by this point I had waited 10 days for a "2-day shipping" Prime order, which still had not arrived. Since there had been dated birthday items in the shipment, I told Amazon I no longer needed the items, and requested a refund.
They told that I -I- needed to initiate an investigation with the USPS, before they could issue a refund. Excuse me? -I- was not the shipper of those items; Amazon was the shipper. Seems like THEY were the ones who should have initiated the investigation. So I said, "fine I'll initiate the investigation, and if you can't issue a refund until that's complete, then please send me a replacement order." I was told they couldn't issue a refund OR a replacement until the results of the investigation were complete. If you have ever had to have the Post Office investigate a package that you mailed which got lost in the mail, you know such an investigation can take anywhere from several weeks to several months.
Everyone of these "chat" sessions lasted a half-hour or longer, and involved at least 4 different Amazon reps. Meanwhile, the bottom line is, I ordered and PAID FOR $200 worth of goods from Amazon which they failed to deliver, and they will not make good on this order until -I- have the Post Office investigate what had to be either Amazon's or the Post Office's screw-up. If someone makes a shipment which doesn't arrive, it is almost always considered the responsibility of the SHIPPER to investigate and make good on the shipment. Virtually every other on-line seller I use follows this protocol; Amazon used to, as well -- up to this past August. Now it appears their customer service policy is, "we'll take your money, and screw you." Very disappointing.

I am a Prime Member who orders frequently from Amazon. The last year has proven to be very disappointing and frustrating dealing with Amazon; items not delivered on the date scheduled. Recently I received a notice saying my package would arrive late. Four days later, after calling Amazon, I am told they don't know what the problem is but they said, "We will refund your money and you can re-order the product." I called the company which is the maker of the product only to be told the product is shipped by Amazon. They were not happy to hear there was an issue with order and delivery. After a full week, I received a refund and placed an order with a different company.
I placed another order on Friday. Delivery was supposed to be on Sunday by 9 PM. At 6:30 PM Sunday, I tracked the order and it had arrived in Conn. at 5:59 PM. No way would it be able to be delivered when stated. This problem is very common with my purchases. I am sure I am not the only one who's experiencing these problems. When I went to UPS, the shipper they used, it would have been $24 to $26 for the return. Wow! So I gave them to a friend. My point and suggestion: Obviously the seller didn't pay that much because that would mean he would only receive about $40 for the shoes.
I think sellers could and should offer return shipping at their rate and just deduct that amount from your credit. It would be much cheaper and a great service to the customer. They could just e-mail the label, you print it and off you go. There would be, of course, some that would charge more than their rate but bad reviews would slow that down.

I'm at wit's end with Amazon and don't know what to do. Most of my Amazon deliveries are delivered to my NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR!!! I've called and chatted with Amazon multiple times and all I get are constant apologies and meaningless platitudes and yet nothing ever changes. There's no way to directly call or email Amazon corporate and thus they've done a great job of insulating themselves from having to be accountable to their customers.
I cannot understand why the US postal service Fedex and even UPS can all manage to deliver packages to my house be yet the majority of my Amazon deliveries go to my next door neighbor. When I moved my house 2.5 years ago this was an occasional issue but in the past 9 months to a year, 90% of my Amazon deliveries have gone to my neighbor. This isn't a coincidence: This is when Amazon transitioned from delivery some of their own packages to delivering most.
My neighbor has gotten so upset by this that he paid good money to have custom made house number signs in which the 4 (the # that is different from my street address) is larger than the other numbers, in order to try and clue the Amazon drivers that they have the wrong house. Yet this hasn't worked and my next door neighbors are FURIOUS at having to bring our packages to my house several days a week. Please see the attached picture with my street # on the package and my neighbor's street #.
To add insult to injury: I've stopped 2 different drivers while they were delivering to the wrong house, pointed out the mistake and ask that they please deliver to the correct address. I even asked the 2nd driver to let his supervisor know what's going on. Thus, Amazon cannot say they were not aware of the issue since I've gone through many channels and thus I can only assume that they don't care about fixing the problem. This is beyond ridiculous and I don't know what to do. I've spent thousands of dollars with Amazon and don't think that this is a good way to treat a long time customer.

I recently received a phone call asking me to pay £39 to renew my Prime membership. Since I had never paid to join Prime, I assumed it was a scam. I called Amazon customer support and they confirmed it was indeed a scam. Membership was £79, and my renewal was not due until 23 Feb next year. I checked my credit card statement for February this year, and sure enough £79 had been taken. I have no recollection of making this order. More to the point, when I check my account and my orders there is no record of this transaction, although four other purchases around this time are in plain sight.
When I pointed all this out to Amazon they gave me a full refund. A couple points. Most of my dealings with Amazon have been satisfactory. I just think the way this money was taken was underhanded. I needed to purchase an electric scooter controller so I chose one on Amazon.com because it was marked as “original”. I tried many times to purchase it with my main account however because I use the app Privacy.com (because Amazon sells your information to databases) Amazon locked my account for the 2nd time. I tried to open up another account but Amazon did not let the charge go through. I then went to my local grocery store, purchased a gift card So I could purchase the controller. When I finally did get the to purchase the controller and it arrived I could not install it immediately as I was still waiting for parts to come from China.
Once the parts arrived and I did install the controller I was having problems with the headlight on the scooter as well as the speed of the scooter. I thought the problem was what’s called the dashboard (The display/speedometer interface) so I ordered another dashboard from China. Long story short it turned out to be a problem with the controller I had purchase from Amazon. I went on Amazon looking for warranty information and noticed that I could return/exchange the controller. I set up the return/exchange and dropped the controller off at the UPS store on 9/14/2019 at 2:32pm to which I have a drop off receipt that I’ve emailed Amazon several times.
After a couple of days I checked the return and it said UPS awaiting package? I thought this was odd So I went down to the UPS store and the manager was not helpful. I then contacted UPS customer service and they said that Amazon would have to file a claim if the package was lost. After I contacted Amazon customer service which after a 20 min hold told me that returns can take up to 2 weeks. Which I did wait 2 weeks, and called again and after a 30 minute hold I was told that if I don’t have a refund by the 1st to contact them again.
When I finally did get the refund (which technically still has not gone through) Amazon charged me a $9+ restocking fee for a defective product and their justification for this was because I didn’t return the item by the 16th... I have called Amazon multiple times, I have done text chat and nobody is willing to or can resolve this very simple issue... it seems that Amazon is run by computers and the employees have no power to change anything that’s in the system. But the employees don’t want bad rating so they’ll tell you whatever you wanna hear and then it just doesn’t happen... Not only that but waiting two weeks for a return refund is a Ludacris amount of time to wait for something like that.

I have been battling with Amazon for nine month on a living room set. They acknowledge that I was charged the money. They acknowledge that I didn't receive the living room set I ordered. They acknowledge that I am owed the refund. I even have emails saying it will appear on my credit in 3 to 5 days and nothing. Every time you call them it's a start from scratch phone call. They will put you on hold for twenty minutes while they read the notes and when they return they still don't have it right.
Then they pass you to a supervisor who puts you on hold for twenty more minutes and then they tell you they are sending this to their "special department" to handle it A to Z, but you can't talk to them because "they don't have phones." Really? This company has become a joke and everything is the vendors fault, so even though you bought the product from Amazon's site and Amazon charged your card they have no responsibility for what the vendor does. I doubt that would hold up in court very well. Sad it's gone so downhill. It use to be amazing customer service.

I purchased an item based on the fact it was advertised to be delivered in 2 days with amazon prime on September 24. When it wasn't delivered I called Amazon.com and was told it was still in transit from the seller amazon.com Services, Inc. I asked what did that mean still in transit and was told it was still in transit with no other explanation. I told the representative advertising this item to be delivered in 2 days is false advertisement. I also explained to the representative this same situation has occurred to me the last two times I purchased an item from amazon.com; not receiving an item in 2-days as advertised. After being given a token discount just to get me off the phone, I was told it would arrive the next day.
The next day, September 25, nothing arrived from amazon.com. I called amazon.com again and was told the same excuse as to why I hadn't received my item, "It was still in transit from the seller amazon.com Services, Inc." After voicing my frustration, a rude woman in logistics offered me another token discount to get me off the phone. I told her I wasn't looking for a discount, coupon or a refund and that I just wanted what I purchased and delivered to me as advertised. I was told once again all the information they could give me was, "It was still in transit from the seller amazon.com Services, Inc." She then assured me it would be delivered the next day on September 26.
Well, today, nothing delivered again. So once again, I called amazon.com again and was told the same ole excuse again as to why I hadn't received my item, "It was still in transit from the seller amazon.com Services, Inc." I told the representative that just doesn't make any sense to me. The item is being shipped by amazon.com services, inc., and you can't tell why it's still in transit from amazon.com which is where you work. The rep could not offer any reason or answer except once again, "It was still in transit from the seller amazon.com Services, Inc." The rep placed another order of the same item at no cost and told me I would receive it on September 28 by 8pm.
Amazon.com has dropped the ball on their advertisement for 2-day delivery time and time again. I am a prime member paying an additional cost for 2-day delivery. If amazon.com can't deliver as they advertise for 2-day delivery, they should refund everyone their money for the cost of their prime membership. I'd give them no stars if I could.

Ordered a boat starter for my commercial fishing business. Order placed on Friday via Prime and was guaranteed delivery on Saturday. Monday - no part, called customer service who issued me a refund after I specifically said I do not want a refund just the part. Then spoke to three different reps and all said the part was at my local post office and guaranteed delivery on Tuesday. Tuesday evening - no part. Called Amazon and the rep apologized and stated she “the package was lost by my post office”. Contact the post office, turns out they never received the package or manifest.
The next rep then stated she thinks the part never left the warehouse. I stated again, I never wanted a refund, I just want the part. Then she put me on hold to receive her “managers” approval to “expedite” the part and send a replacement ASAP. Approval was granted and I was guaranteed delivery Wednesday. Wednesday evening - no package. Called Amazon and spoke to a manager directly. She stated all previous reps I spoke to were “mis-informed” and need further training. She also stated a manager cannot issue a replacement to be sent.
She said and I quote “since the refund was issued, I should just take my money to another store and buy the part”. I then explained that they no longer manufacture that part to be readily available at a store, hence why I ordered through Amazon Prime. I was lied to by 5 separate reps, one imaginary manager, told to take my business elsewhere by another manager, and have lost over $2k in canceled trips that MY customers paid for. When I contacted customer service they stated they do not do a post-purchase price refund. I found this to be surprising, considering that they seem to be abreast at staying the most competitive as well as giving the best customer service. This area is lacking and may be something they should reconsider in the future. While this was only a $10 purchase, it gives me pause before larger purchases in the future; considering that there could be a change in price that they will not work around. Most every other store I've shopped with will make allowances for this type of change. I find this to be considerably lacking for such a large and profitable company.

Didn't get any confirmation on the same, so contacted phone support, here also the advisor informed the same thing. So, thought it will be cancelled by Tuesday and contacted the chat support on Tuesday morning but the advisor (Kandula **) informed like he has cancelled now from his end then what was both advisor doing on Sunday?? Any of them should have lied and trying to fool.
And after that was transferred to phone support as I wanted it to escalate it further. Now another phone support advisor (Gnanavi) was ready to provide more worst experience. Nothing to tell about her because her tone was like she is doing this job because of someone's pressure. After that I was transferred to a senior advisor, I don't whether he was actually a senior advisor. His name was Mohin and he again para-phrase the issue and said the request is already been sent and it will be cancelled when the products reaches any hubs.
This is what is much interesting, according to him the product cannot be cancelled when it is in transportation so once it reaches any hubs and if they scan for the barcode, they will be notified by a pop up that the item is requested for cancellation and it will be cancelled by then. So, I had requested for cancellation of the product on Sunday and Monday 23rd 4:23 AM package has arrived at a courier facility Haryana. According to the great senior advisor Mohin, they will only be able to cancel the product when it reaches any hubs. If I had requested cancellation on Sunday and why was it not notified on Monday when it had reached the Haryana courier facility? Didn't they scan over there?
Monday, it has already left Haryana courier facility at 12:00 PM. Why was it not scanned by then at least?? My experience in buying from Amazon goes back to their very early days when they were simply a discount online book store... Yes, we're talking last century here... I've watched them grow over the years and offer more and more products and services. I have enjoyed saving money while avoiding mall shopping, which I've disliked for decades.
Now, however, especially following the Great Recession, I am also sensitive to the impact dollars make on local economies. While I still spend money on Amazon, I would feel better about it if I knew my hard-earned dollars were being spent in the U.S. to support my own nation's economy, though I'm not opposed to supporting others as well, as long as they don't use and abuse workers. I'd also like to be able to choose between states in the U.S. wherein my dollars may be spent, so I can support the economies of states in which my politics are more compatible than in others. Simply stated, I like to feel good about how I am spending my money, and I like to vote, not only in the voting booth, but with my wallet as well. After all, that's really what most people in power care about.
Being the concerned shopper that I am, I recently contacted Amazon and asked how I could find out where their sellers are located (just country and/or state, nothing more). I was also interested in knowing which state's workers might be impacted by my purchases when I buy things fulfilled by Amazon (does the item ship from a warehouse in California, West Virginia, Washington state, or elsewhere). Again simply stated, I wish to feel good about my purchases by monetarily supporting certain local economies, while not inadvertently supporting others.
The response I got from Amazon went something like the ones I got from doctors' offices recently when I made some calls to find out what a procedure I may need might potentially cost. All responded by saying they cannot provide that information. Really? Doctors' offices treated me as if I was from Mars, because apparently no one ever dares question what they charge. It was only after I explained that they may call me a "patient", but I am also a "paying customer" that they referred me to others who finally got back to me with answers.
With Amazon, the story was not so pleasant. I was treated as if I was the problem, simply for asking where my hard-earned dollars might potentially go. What ever happened to customer service and making information available so customers may make informed choices? (Note: I use the term "customer" because it is MY money being spent here. I am not simply a parasitic “consumer”.)
I'm now looking to go back to purchasing things from companies directly, rather than giving Amazon my hard-earned dollars. Sad, because I typically supported new start-ups and smaller businesses on Amazon (those with 100's of reviews or less, rather than those with 100's of thousand of reviews). I liked the idea of supporting the little guy, instead of major conglomerates, while also being backed by Amazon's return policy. Sadly, Amazon seems to have become one of those major conglomerates that doesn’t care about their customers (and probably doesn’t care about their workers either).
Sadly, there are many smaller sellers who feel they need Amazon's platform to get their businesses off the ground. Because of outrageous real estate costs, they cannot afford brick and mortar storefronts, and they cannot afford the time and money it takes to move their own websites up on the google search platform. And ironically, I happen to agree with a lot of what Jeff Bezos has recently done to stand up for those without a voice. Still, after my most recent customer inquiry and Amazon’s “customer service” department response, I am going to make a concerted effort to spend most of my dollars away from Amazon from now on.
BTW, I'm not sure this is the right website upon which to post this, given the fact that you claim to have the consumer’s best interests at heart, while at the same time taking advertising dollars from businesses. Still, it’s not easy to find a site upon which one can review Amazon itself. Interesting. We'll see if this actually gets posted...

Amazon has/is making it impossible to get the remaining funds. They keep changing the story on why they won't release our donated funds. They say one day, that our bank isn't confirmed (which we've confirmed 7-8 times now). Then they say we don't have permission to access the funds. Twice this has happened to me in one month time. I order an item with my Prime membership and I am Guaranteed second day delivery. The first time, I get the notice our for delivery, it never arrives. I get a notice for Amazon saying, order to be delivered by Friday (this is Tuesday). Friday out on truck, email notice, order delivered. No order was ever delivered and the 60 dollar battery charger on the table next to my door is missing. Keep in mind, I live in a house, not apartment.
Now, I had to reorder the same item and asked for a refund from Amazon. I never got what I was promised. Next as of this week, My item was suppose to be delivered yesterday, the 17th of September. Amazon says out for delivery. Again never arrived. I chatted with a amazon customer service. Rep. promised delivery the 18th. Still waiting. It is after 3:00 pm and nothing. On July 29, 2019, L.L. purchased this product from Amazon.com and received it on August 5, 2019. The product came without a dozen of the necessary screws to mount the machine. L.L. and I have trying, for many times--and without a success--to fix the problem together with Amazon.com.
For three times, Amazon.com's customer representatives have said that they will fix this issue without any inconvenience and that they will send L.L. the RETURN LABEL. Until now--and after many contacts to Amazon.com and HOSMAT--NOTHING was done by both companies to fix the matter. Amazon hooked us on Prime years ago with its 2-day delivery. My how times have changed! In the last week alone, I've had 2 significant problems with Prime deliveries.
2. I ordered a birthday gift for my daughter 8 days prior, on a Monday. She does not live in the boonies. I would expect to arrive by Wednesday of that week, Thursday at the latest. But no, it's going to take up to 8 days to arrive. That's the closest they'll come with a delivery date at this point. So much for Prime!

I've been shopping on a regular basis at Amazon Canada for many years. During that time, what has usually impressed me the most was their high level of personalized customer service. In the past few months though, that seems to be declining rapidly. Even their Executive Office seems to be changing, and not in a good way. They were always there when things were not resolved at a lower level. The last time I contacted **, I didn't even get a reply. This continuing decline in customer care has me looking elsewhere FIRST, not as a last resort, when shopping online. I'm also trying to shop more locally, which is a plus! Bezo has repeatedly predicted that Amazon will go bankrupt, and in the near future. I won't be surprised if that happens. And perhaps this decline in concern for customers total satisfaction is the start of that journey. If a giant like Sears can go under, so can Amazon.

I ordered a bundled item (phone with earbuds and power charge package) and there was a problem with my amazon.com charge. I received the email to "update payment info" and immediately resolved the issue and updated within 24 hrs. Now this did change my prime shipping by a day but since it was the following business day that I resolved things, that was acceptable, however, it is now the expected date of delivery and they still have yet to charge it. I chatted with both amazon.com and Synchrony Bank (who issues amazon.com charge) and while they saw the declined attempt, they have not seen another attempt since I requested the payment to be updated. The bank asked to have them "try again" and they stated, "Well, we can request it but it will take 1-3 days."
Why do I pay for a prime membership just to be transferred around and given a bunch of BS for over 2 1/2 hours to get nothing accomplished. I will be seriously considering buying elsewhere and cancelling my prime membership if their customer service attitude is "not my problem - you just have to wait". 7 customer service reps due to chat changes, transfers to wrong dept, and straight up hangups to request reference number to be told, "We don't do that" is just ridiculous for customer service department.

This Amazon Rep puts me on hold for 15 mins before getting back on and tells me because I choosed free shipping they would ship it near the expected date of delivery. She even made the comment that the order was 6 hrs away that when they do ship it it won't take long to get here. That didn't stop them from taking my money pretty fast. I thought Walmart was bad trying to push their self-checkouts on everyone by closing the other checkouts down. I ordered several packs of size large socks, and 1 of the packs was inadvertently sent in size medium. I called customer service. The rep from the Philippines had a hard time understanding me. Eventually, I was able to convey the problem and she explained I needed to return the wrong sized item and offered to do that by UPS. I explained that I live in the country and asked if I could return this by UPS. She said yes and stated she would send me a label. When I received the label, I discovered that I had to paid postage. The rep I had spoken with never explained to me that if I chose this option I would have to pay postage. Obviously, if I had known that, I would have declined because the cost to ship would have been more than the value of the wrong socks I was sent.
So I called customer service again and once again spoke with a Filipino rep. I explained to her the problem and she was extremely rude and condescending to me. She was talking over me and saying that it was my fault because the UPS option has to be paid by the customer. I told that this was never explained to me by the first rep I spoke to. Then she said that she was not going to stand for me talking to her that way. I was stunned. I asked her, "Exactly what way am I speaking to you that you find offensive?" No reply. I asked for a supervisor and when she came on, I asked for a US-based rep who professionally and efficiently resolved the problem.
It is outrageous to me that I had done nothing wrong here, and was made to feel by this overseas rep that I was to blame for the error. Amazon not only sent me the wrong product, but the first rep I spoke with failed to inform me that by choosing the UPS option, I would have to pay for it. Amazon needs to stop using cheap overseas labor and hire US-based customer service reps. It may cost more, but their customers are worth it. I strongly encourage anyone with a customer service issue with Amazon to request a US-based rep when calling for help.

I would not have ordered the wagon if I couldn't get it by 9/12, as I needed it for the weekend to move some items that I couldn't move otherwise. There were other wagons that I could have ordered, and if the wagon had not been guaranteed to me, I would have ordered one that could.
I received an e-mail stating that it wouldn't get to me until 9/13...too late! I called the customer support, and the rep did a ticket and told me that it WOULD BE TO ME NO LATER than 9/12. Guess what???? FAIL!!!! The item had yet to be sent out. Not failed once, but twice!!! Today I called to speak to someone in customer service to see how they were going to fix the situation that was cause solely by AMAZON not fulfilling the order, and the rep was very robotic in his words, and kept putting me on Mute...which is so rude, and only heightens the anger of an already irate customer!
He switched me to another robotic supervisor who kept saying, "so it looks like they will be shipping it out Saturday or Sunday." Uh.... Really? Who is going to meet me at the festival and carry my items to my booth on Friday afternoon, because the wagon was purchased for that. He went on to say that he would send all the information to management so that they could use it for future trainings. How is this going to help me? I wanted to speak to management, and he said that management does not speak to customers. WHAT??? I told him that I wanted some sort of confirmation that management received my complaint, but again he said that it couldn't be done. Shame on you!! Something I don't think many people know about which I would address here is this. I spent 20 years writing a book and over the last 8 years, although I've not got many reviews for my hard work on Amazon.com, I do appreciate those that have read it and simply want to leave a review. Amazon.com's policy is when someone submits a book review Amazon.com will NOT accept it unless 'that person spends $50 on amazon.com.' Talk about something that I think is completely and utterly unfair and in my opinion is a way of legally laundering money into their own organization. I've been on Amazon for many, many years and I don't think I've ever purchased anything in one go that's valued over $50.
On Tuesday September 3rd 2019, I called Amazon and requested that a copy of the two reviews that were submitted for my book, out of retaliation (and were eventually removed) he sent to me in an email. I never did get to see whose names were on there. Remember while these reviews were on their website this was public knowledge. The gentleman on the phone said he'd put the request in. I'm still waiting for an amazon.com response and it's now been 9 days. I was passed from one customer rep to another—5 or 6 reps, each saying they had to pass this to another department.
A rep finally explained that Amazon can increase prices anytime and that yes, this probably was a coincidence that prices for seven of my nine books increased in a 15” period. I have suggested that they post an alert that prices can increase at any second. Have had no response to this and no offer to make any amends. Upon checking the order status, I was told both orders were delivered at 12:32 pm. Nope! Never got them and I was home all day. So I go to try and get help. Very difficult. After navigating a few unhelpful screens I found an automated chat bot. This chat robot asks a few questions and tells me to wait 36 hours because the delivery company can scan the order as delivered, but still has 36 hours to deliver the package. So much for 2-day delivery.
I finally got to chat with a live person, though I can't tell you how I did it now because getting Amazon support is nearly impossible. The products you select on Amazon are rated by customers so you get a good idea what you're ordering. It's the Amazon service that you don't see reviewed, therefore I have three cautions for consumers I have personally experienced.
1) I received a broken bottle, where the content was all over the ill-packaged item. It was a third party purchase. I requested a refund for the bottle from the third party seller and was never contacted by the seller.
2) I requested a vitamin that has two formulas that are very similar, as well as similar appearances. Amazon shipped me the wrong product. I requested a refund, was told I would get a refund, shipped the items back to Amazon. Never got a refund. I do not have luck purchasing food stuffs from Amazon.
3) I purchased an Amazon Prime membership for a birthday present for a daughter but first I wanted her to see if she liked Amazon Prime to know if it would benefit her. She requested a Prime trial for seven days. When I purchased the membership as a gift Amazon notified her she could not in fact have a membership because she was in a trial period, she could not apply my purchase of a gift subscription for the year after the trial period ended either. Her only choice was to have a $119.00 gift card. Not my intention.
Please bear these things in mind if you're making these purchases on Amazon. I'd tell them but they don't have a contact.

I was so dissatisfied with my recent experience with Amazon.com Customer Service. I’ve been a Subscribe & Save customer for over 5 years with no issues but my order was charged a week early this month and had a devastating ripple effect on my finances. What happened is this: on Tuesday, one item charged 7 days early. In 5 years I’ve never been charged 7 days before shipping. It’s always charged 2 days (3 day at the most). I called Customer Service and they apologized. Said they had no idea why it would have charged so early. They verbally told me that shouldn’t happen and that they would look into the problem. The NEXT day, the same exact thing happened. Only this time for 12 products!!!! My account was overdrawn and my bank charged me for each individual transaction (12) for a total of 240 in NSF fees. I was devastated.
I called a 2nd time to talk to Customer Service. They verbally told me they HAD reimbursed me for $240 and I could re-purchase EVERYTHING I had on Subscribe & Save and be reimbursed for ALL the items for my inconvenience. They didn’t understand how I was charged so early, that wasn’t correct - they only charge 2 days before the products arrive. My case was bumped up to a manager. That Customer Service agent said she’d call me back on the 5th. I confirmed 3 times that I would be reimbursed for all 25 items. I felt valued and heard but that verbal affirmation was about to be proven wrong. I was only reimbursed $73 and I didn’t get the call until the 6th. A little concerning but we were awaiting the arrival of Hurricane Dorian and I thought they may be in the hurricane’s path.
I get the call on the 6th but she can’t hear me. She calls me back on the 7th. Says I will only be reimbursed $240. And that she never agreed to me ordering ALL items. She said it was my fault for ordering the items early (????). She then said Subscribe & Save always charges 7 days in advance (????). So these are two very different reasons for the ‘problem’ which she was adamant was my fault (????). They even admitted the system shouldn’t have charged me so early. After being so assured I was being taken care of, they completely went back on their word. So disappointed.

I like shopping online, and most the time I have had a decent experience with Amazon. It is usually pretty trustworthy. But I wanted to mention what has been happening lately. I bought quite a few items for my computer that I am building, some parts from Newegg, some from eBay, and some from Amazon. In each case I used the free shipping option, and I do not have Amazon Prime. I received my items from Newegg and eBay before Amazon had even shipped anything. eBay took 4 days to get to me, Newegg took 5 days, and Amazon? It took 14 days to get to me! Now I know Amazon Prime would help, but why should I pay a company yearly so that they can just live up to the standards of other online sellers.
Also, Amazon has this fancy little feature that I can put extra instructions on the delivery. So I made sure and described where I lived there, just to make sure the packages come to the right spot. But that didn't help. Amazon still delivered the packages to my neighbor. I am just glad I have friendly neighbors. Another frustrating part is that I can't review the seller on Amazon, because the packages were sold and shipped by Amazon. Does it really take 7 days just to get the package on the road? I just know that from now on, if the price is the same between Amazon and either eBay or Newegg, I think I will go with the 5 days shipping over the last minute-ship-it-in-one-day service.

Amazon treats their non-Prime customers like yesterday's garbage. Some items you can't even purchase if not a Prime member, most items are more expensive than what a Prime member pays. Delivery times are good but the amount of time taken to prepare your order for shipping take days. Also if you try to post a less than flattering comment on their site in many instances it is rejected by Amazon. Makes you wonder just how accurate their reviews are. I really try to find alternative sources for my business now using Amazon as little as possible.

I have seen a lot of shifty service from nearly every corporation that exists as they are all WAY too big to care about 1,10,100 or even 1000 disgruntled customers. However, Amazon takes the prize for most pathetic, non existent customer service. I ordered a phone case Monday morning. My "Prime" membership gave me two day "guaranteed" delivery. Which in reality meant, we will try to get it there by Friday 8 pm. (5 days.) Maybe it's because it's a US based company and given the well know fact that the average intelligence level of Americans isn't even considered par to the rest of the world, they thought I couldn't tell time? They are likely unaware that for less than a dollar I can mail a letter 3000 miles across Canada and it will arrive in 3 to 4 days tops. This company is so out of touch with reality that at 5 pm they sent me a message saying they tried to deliver the product at 6 52 pm.
I was even on the phone with Amazon well before 6 52 pm attempting to explain this is impossible without a time machine. Their highly educated reps could not understand the clear discrepancy between the email and reality but assured me it would arrive tomorrow. I asked about the guarantee, and was again told, it would arrive tomorrow. They claimed the business was closed so they could not deliver, then over and over simply refused to acknowledge the fact that the time they said they delivered, had still not even occurred on the clock. My relearned statement..."You're telling me the guy tried to deliver it an hour from now and couldn't?" Was always met with, "Can I put you on hold." I felt as though I was talking to a post.
So... Visa has already agreed to give me my 50 bucks back for Prime membership of "undelivered service and or product." I am so done with Amazon. I have literally received more honorable service from marijuana dealers. Hopefully one day we will find a prime minister or president who has the courage to hold corporations accountable for "guarantees", false promises and outright theft. Doubt it though, we have way more evolving to do. Amazon will never see another dollar from me.

Very bad customer service. Nobody cares how much customer is in the need of something. Already called more than 5 times. Every time new excuse. We contact the seller. We filed the claim. After placing order in July 12... today they’re offering me refund. That’s ridiculous. I don't need money. I want my product and then said they can’t replace it for me. I have to get refund and place order again. Such a crap. I’m so frustrated now. Have no option other than placing order again and wait for product again. Even supervisor is getting rude and was raising voice by saying that she can’t do anything other than sorry. So mad. Never going to order anything again.

We pay $119 a year for Amazon Prime and in the last 3-4 weeks, we have had late deliveries practically every order. When we complained were even told on one instance that it was because of a hurricane (the package left Phoenix, Arizona, arrived at Las Vegas, Nevada then the final destination in Utah.) that was affecting my order! When you actually check the tracking it is because Amazon has shipped the packages with USPS Parcel Select and USPS Bound Printed Matter. Both services are NOT 2-day shipping options. In fact, both of those shipping options can take up to 10 business days to be delivered.
A complaint usually gives a $5 promotional voucher valid on Amazon only purchases and a fake apology and an explanation of how it will not happen again (and it does happen again, repeatedly). In fact, I feel that very little is done about the continuous late deliveries unless I file a complaint about each late order with BBB (which I have started to do and I advise everyone to do if they require action).
We pay $119 a year for Prime, we certainly deserve better service, better customer service, and better accountability when Amazon fails to uphold that service for which we pay for. Amazon also need to stop blaming the couriers when it was clearly sent via low-priority shipping options by Amazon! UPS and USPS have no control over the method of shipping, they just deliver according to the service requested by Amazon.

Not only does Amazon have great products but their Customer Service for the most part is wonderful. Although most times you are outsourced to a different country, I personally have found that when I call it's either South Africa or Philippines and they speak so well, understand me and my NY accent and are quite nice. Let’s face it. Most times you are calling CS with a problem or issue. These agents have to listen to 8 hours of complaints so they themselves need a break. No matter how annoyed I am I try to be on my best behavior and as nice as can be because they too need a break with how nasty we as a society can be.
I have run up against any number of odd things that I have had to have handled and never once have I been disrespected or made to feel anything but a valued customer. I have had any number of 3rd party issues and again for the most part Amazon have backed me up 100%. Just remember in the end you get better results when you're nicer. It's even easier to be a nicer person than negative. ***I have never worked for nor do I know of anyone who has worked for this company. I have also never worked CS in this capacity..

Amazon deals with too many shady third party sellers and from China. Products from China is cheaply made and takes 4 months to come in. When you are shopping, you don't have time to review each and every product, ask the seller where is this coming from, they take 2-3 days to get back with you, review their website, etc. There should be a filter where ONLY the products from the country you choose to purchase from, shows. I am way too busy for all this research on every single item I purchase. In going elsewhere.

I have been an Amazon Prime member for so many years, that I can't even remember a time I didn't have Amazon Prime and for many many years I've loved it. When Amazon created their own delivery system called Amazon Logistics however, things went terribly wrong on my end. Amazon Logistics has lost, misplaced, misdelivered, and delayed so many of my packages that you'd wonder why I'm still an Amazon Prime Member.
Truth is, I stayed in hopes that Amazon Logistics would get better in their delivery service. Not only that, but I've loved Amazon for so long I didn't want to just cut ties and end my membership. I have come to the conclusion that the drivers of Amazon Logistics don't feel like driving out to certain areas by a certain time so they say that the Package is still on the way but delayed or that they couldn't enter the place to deliver. The "Still on the way but delayed" is annoying but tolerable. However, when they tell me they could not get into the apartment complex because the business was closed - it is beyond infuriating because there is a gate code connected directly to my cell phone that they flat out never use - and I can't even remember how many times this has now happened to me.
I have contacted Amazon tirelessly over this issue. At the start, Amazon Logistics continuously was losing my packages or delivering them to the wrong location. That eventually got better but their new thing is to not deliver or delay the delivery because: They can't get into the complex or because they can't find the complex.
Again, I have been constantly contacting Amazon about this. Each time I have gotten basically the same answers: "I'm sorry for the delay but this does happen sometimes and we would greatly appreciate your patience" or "If I was in your position, I would feel the same way. I will send your concerns to the correct team and my leaders to make sure that problems like this are minimized in the future" or "I'm so sorry this is happening, but we can offer you a $5 promo for the inconvenience." The list goes on but of course, at this point, I don't believe any of it. I don't think my complaints go anywhere at all and they just say those things to try and mollify me.
I honestly don't care for the promo and have told them each time that I don't want it. They put it in my account anyway but that does not fix the problem of my items not coming on time when I pay for a membership that gives me free 2 day shipping and yet my items are coming 3-5 days late each time. I don't know if I'm jinxed or not and if I'm literally the single human being going through this issue with Amazon Logistics. I certainly hope not - but if I am literally the only one dealing with terrible delivery service from Amazon Logistics, then I must have done something horrific in a past life. Truly Amazon is great and Prime is great - but only with USPS or UPS. Amazon Logistics has just traumatized me and while I'd like to give more stars, the fact that my issues have not been properly taken care of or resolved in years, they get 1 star.

Unprecedented. The perfect word to describe Amazon. In every positive sense of that word! All because of one man - Jeff Bezos. What an entrepreneur! What a vision! This is from personal experience. Let me explain. I had given up all hope, after a horrible experience with Amazon.ae (formerly Souq.com) - due to a Herculean effort to get an order cancelled and the subsequent refund issued. I have never faced such a feedback-resistant team in my life! They were robotically answering my calls and sending me monotonous, unhelpful emails, followed by absolutely zero action!
Hiding behind all sorts of implausible excuses - ‘the seller is not reachable’ (in a place like Dubai, where the mobile phone and fibre-optic internet services are nothing less than 4G!), ‘we are unable to cancel your order’ (shipping it ten hours after I had clearly cancelled it in writing), ‘you can cancel the delivery when it is delivered’, ’the refund could then take up to one week to be issued’, etc., etc. Extremely frustrating conversations! I even had a customer service manager here call me from a U.K. number (with dodgy call quality!), who took nearly ten minutes to get the order number right, followed by an unkept commitment to initiate the refund. This was the general tone of the team here. A despicable experience for any long-term customer. I had virtually lost all hope of resolving this and convincing them that this was definitely not expected of the megabrand that they were representing! Dejected! To say the least.
Out of sheer frustration, I emailed my grievance to Jeff Bezos, of course not expecting a reply from a trillionaire sitting 7,400 miles away and then again, why would he bother responding to someone that he has never met or heard of before? Guess what happened? The response came. Prompt and extremely effective! Within a few hours, the entire mess by the team here was sorted out and the refund initiated. His response mentioned that he will take “any action necessary”. Any action. That is how much the founder of Amazon loves his customers. It’s not by fluke that they are No. 1 and will continue to remain so. Their founder’s principles are strong and his corporate vision is clear. Nothing but the best, for the most valuable asset that a business can have - its customers. I wish this absolute Legend all the very best.
I would advise customers with serious complaints to address them directly to him and feel safe in the knowledge that they will be resolved. I will continue shopping with Amazon only because Jeff founded the company. Thank you Sir, for caring, when you easily could have looked the other way and ignored my communication in the bulk of emails that the richest man of earth is bound to receive. The corporate world and the other global business icons have so much to learn from you. So, so much. Thank you.

Amazon started off as the model for customer service for internet-based companies. It's given up efforts to maintain that lofty status in favor of the crappy service that many companies now offer. It's near impossible to use their website to find a mechanism for a customer who wants to make a complaint. The chat service they offer doesn't work (I tried 5 times). When you ask for a callback you get an Asian agent who barely speaks English speaking to you from a room that has a cacophony of noise from other agents, making any significant communication impossible. The agent is helpless to provide any more service than you can get on the website. Amazon, you're blowing it big-time. Your initial focus on customer service was part of what made you grow. You've forgotten where you came from.

PS It was too late for that. I have two younger kids. They find everything. We just hit spring break. I had Prime 2 day delivery any. I waited to order any. I got a refund. I had to go to Five Below. Ok 3rd party's description and you end up missing some and you're like, "Can't they just send me what's missing? I love the rest." "Oh no. We will just give you 10% off or send it all back." "Ok cool. I'll just keep it."
Wait 3 weeks. No I'll just buy what I'm missing but just resent. Downy Unstoppable scent boosters are buy 3 get $10 off so I bought three for my sisters, 3 for me. I only got four so I'm like okay. I go on Amazon. I go to the link that shows contact the seller. The link to this seller it goes no more completely blank so then I end up calling Amazon and I tell them what's going on. I got put on hold twice and then I got transferred to another person then tells me that it's going to take three business days for them to do an investigation for the product. I'm like, "What?" Ok for my missing scent booster. Ok and that they're going to do an investigation on their warehouse. Their actual Warehouse 'cause it came from Amazon. I'm like, "What? Okay."
So I have three kids so I can't wait 3 at going to my sis that gives me one so I go ahead and made a purchase so I can have what I need till all said and done. So I go back to my life, kids, dinner, bla bla life stories I know but with this I get my kids down. I lay down. I start to think???? I've had problems before. It's always a 3rd party. This time it came out of their warehouse. I'm getting the runaround why. I started to google and it was heart breaking but made sense. The 3rd parties can't compete with Amazon and to be true these little guys aren't making much either because Amazon doesn't care what happens to their stuff. No problem. ⚠️ But if it's in Amazon warehouse then I read that they work their employees and get big tax write-offs. In fact they promised States and don't dish but in fact they just kinda of don't.
I'm the one really helping this to all small guys to maybe some fam to a end which kind of sucks because a single mother of three I do need that low price. I'm starting to wonder at what cost am I going so I just guess everybody should Google because I'm stuck in a rock and a hard place my damn self. I what point I need to save but on other you feel so bad as hell. What am I really participating in???? With that how can I make it if I don't such for the lowest price.

It seemed very apparent all she could do is read my order information (the very same information I already had access to).
Three days after placing the order still it has not shipped. This was being fulfilled by Amazon mind you. No third party involvement here. Unfortunately, Amazon has no support for it's sellers. Bezos has turned over the customer support team to India, which they have trouble understanding issues. If a customer files the holy Grail of complaints, (the A to Z guarantee) he gets his money back guaranteed. Seller cannot win. Buyer claims he didn't receive it, even though tracking says he did, seller loses and Amazon gives him his money and seller takes a hit. Buyer claims no longer needed, item damaged, changed mind, inaccurate website description, buyer wants his money back BUT he wants to keep the product. With the very high fees sellers are paying to Amazon to sell their wares, Bezos has offered no support to them whatsoever. I thought eBay was bad in terms of helping to support their sellers and their encroaching high fees but Amazon takes the cake.
Indians sent an email kicking off merchandise because we are not authorized to sell it. You need "permission" to sell almost everything on Amazon the exact same stuff you sell on eBay WITHOUT permission (get a clue Amazon, you're living in the dark ages). We fire back and say, "We are allowed to sell it." They say we need to follow these steps to get permission, we fire back with an email saying, "We already have confirmation saying we have permission" and sent them proof. They go "Great, then you can sell your product". We tell them, "Please relist the product you just kicked off." They tell us we (the sellers) need permission to sell.... This is STUPIDITY at its finest. Bottom line, eBay is not great for sellers but it's a lot better than Amazon ever thought they could be. Selling on Amazon simply sucks.

Again - the EXACT reason why I ordered this item was precisely for the delivery, nor was there ANY ETA for the product.
I contacted UPS - and, frankly, the people who answer the phone at UPS so-called customer service were, forgive me, useless. They simply kept repeating the same line, over and over and over again. Earlier, I had contacted Amazon customer service via text (before I called UPS) and I was told that if I wanted to, I could have an immediate refund, and Amazon would simply recall the package - but the Amazon rep asked me to give it another hour two to see if this was just the "usual" UPS glitch. So I did. By 9am - still nothing - no updates (9am on Aug 20, 2019).
I then call back Amazon customer service, to be told that NO I cannot have a refund until the item is returned. I told them if this doesn't get delivered then what? So I do not have an item when promised then I have to wait for a refund for something we don't know when it would arrive? Answer was - yes. I call back UPS for the final time - UPS now says that and quote - "Amazon, as usual, lied to you – they picked a shipping speed that takes 3-5 days." I told UPS that by their OWN delivery map, UPS Ground is only ONE day from NC to VA. UPS person on the phone denies this and stated that again I quote "Amazon routinely lies."
I then call Amazon in Seattle, and I am transferred to "escalated" customer service - first, several of my attempts at speaking with escalated customer service result in my calls being dropped. Every single one of the "escalated customer service people" tell me there is nothing that can done. I plead with the Amazon HQ operator to let me talk to someone who can make an actual decision - this is for my daughter at school, and I don't have the money to buy beds over and over and over again. I was hung up on – for the second time. I called my bank, and in their opinion, between what UPS showed on their site about the package, and the non-action by Amazon, this was lost, and they were not going to honor the withdrawal.
My last resort was to contact Amazon again via the website - that sorted (so I thought) the situation out - PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED EMAIL CHAIN - Amazon IS FULLY AWARE that the payment was reversed by my bank, and Amazon has successfully (per UPS) recalled the item. Therefore, the item (of course) was never in my possession and, therefore, no payment is due. In fact, as you can see from the attached, the Amazon rep credited my account with $15 for my...inconvenience. I thought - through the help of the online reps – that this matter was closed. Incidentally, not only has the credit not appeared in my account, but it seems that my account has been stripped of all payment information, which perhaps is again being used by fraudsters.
Therefore - I would like to get immediate notification from Amazon "corporate" that: a) this matter is satisfactory closed, and b) proof of communication to TRS Recovery Services, that there is nothing to recover, and that my account - for which I pay monthly(!) - is in good order. Regarding the threatening email re “TRS Recovery Services: a) reprocess payments, b) make any reporting to any - ANY - credit bureau of any sort regarding this transaction will be added to the complaint I have already filed with the attorney generals' offices of both Virginia (where I reside) and Washington state. Please also note that I am in touch with local news media in Washington DC about this whole "affair." c) will result in me going as much public with this issue as I can, filing as many complaints as I can, and taking legal action. Thank you for your time and attention, and I look forward to receiving a reply by email by August 26, 2019.

I like the wheels on this one and really like the attached TSA lock. Seems sturdy enough, we'll see. Also being from Amazon, if you don't like it send it back. Play with it at home.

Amazon used to be a great place to order great stuff and have it delivered fast. I am a Prime member and have been for years. In the last several months it seems Amazon has found its way into the gutter. Several products I have ordered based on the site reviews have turned out to be junk. I can't understand the reviews being so good for products that are basically junk.
Next, the whole reason I am a Prime member is to get my orders in 2 days. In the past several months the 2 day delivery is a joke. The items that are supposed to be Prime are not available for 2 day delivery or the item is NOT delivered when promised. This is happening more often than not. I called today about an order that was supposed to be delivered yesterday and was told it would not be delivered until tomorrow. 4 days on 2 day shipping. The customer service person blew me off and also my concern with the shipping issues as of late. Not renewing my Prime!!

I have been a long term Amazon customer but lately, finding it best to be super vigilant when purchasing through Amazon. Some of the sellers that are listing there are pretty shady. Received a package this week for an Amazon order and was surprised that the order came from Walmart.com, not Amazon. The box was a Walmart.com shipping box and the return label said Walmart.com. Checking the Walmart.com website the exact same item was listed for sale for $10 less and free shipping. Complained to the Amazon seller and asked to return the item because it was shipped from Walmart.com yet listed on Walmart.com for less.
There is a place on the Amazon returns page to check "found for less elsewhere". The seller was happy to let me return the item - oh by the way, for a 20% restocking fee! That would make what I paid for the item a whopping $22 more than Walmart.com. I now feel that I have been too complacent when shopping at Amazon and will be more vigilant in the future. I intend to complain to Amazon about this practice and have given the seller a poor rating but doubt that any of it will do any real good.

Actually speaking to a person at Amazon proves impossible. It required multiple links and entries to be able to speak to someone. My questions was rather simple. I have a manufacturer coupon for $7 off a product I want to order and have ordered previously. I can use this coupon at a local retailer or through a mail order retailer but wanted to know if it could be used at Amazon. After going through the numerous hurdles Amazon requires before being able to speak to a person, the person with whom I spoke, gave such an incomprehensible answer, that I still don't know the answer. So, while using Amazon often proves a better cost saving, it appears using a local retailer is more cost-effective when having manufacturer coupons.

I was on the phone for over THREE hours today with several different customer service reps and several different departments. No one seemed to be able to stay on track or help me with my issue. I just kept getting the run around and being told the wrong things and tossed around. The reps kept getting my information highly incorrect or asking me for information that they had right in front of them pulled up on my account! How do I know because 1.) any other time I’ve called in they had that info and 2.) some of the reps today told me that’s what they were looking at. So why exactly, why does it take over 7 agents for three hours to simply pay my bill for them to explain that they cannot help me? All of this took place mind you while I’ve been dealing with pre term contractions as I was discharged from hospital last night.
There was absolutely no focus, empathy or resolution to my issue. They were asking me the same questions over and over when it was simple. I just needed to pay a bill and be connected to someone who could actually help with that. Some reps asked if I wanted to cancel prime. Uh where did that come from?? No, I said I just need to pay my bill. Other reps tried telling me they didn’t know what credit card I was referring to or one rep told me I had two Amazon credit cards. Again uh no I don't. And I’m confused as to why the Amazon rep I’m talking to that can see my account just as I can is so highly incompetent with my information? So after the first two hours I finally just told them to cancel my card. I never activated it nor purchased anything and this was too much of a hassle.
But somehow when I applied for it the card replaced my regular card on file to pay for my monthly prime membership and that’s all I needed to pay to come to a zero balance and avoid a late fee as I’m going to be busy with my newborn soon. Then I was told the company the card was through could help me and take payment over the phone. So transferred yet again, somehow got disconnected after the lady asked me for my social security number which was concerning. So I had to call back and yet go through the ringer again. Finally after explaining for the thousandth time and getting told all kinds of ridiculous things that has nothing to do with my reason for calling (payment) I was transferred again and told to have my credit card handy to make payment and that my card was cancelled finally but not my prime. (Wanted to keep prime just not the Amazon credit card.)
Well once transferred the lady told me my prime was cancelled but not my card. I told her I just spent half hour with the last rep being very clear only the card was to be cancelled and he assured me that was the case. Then she said, "Oh he just deleted it not cancel and yes prime is active." Seriously? Why did you just tell me the complete opposite. So I tell her, "Okay I’d like to cancel" and she assisted me with that. I told her I needed to pay off my balance that was somehow added to my card that I never activated. She then tells me she can’t help me over the phone with a credit card after I was just told more than once that yes they can do that!!!! Why do Amazon reps have misinformation for the company that they choose their very own credit card to be handled through???? So after spending hours on the phone I told her that was my only payment source and got off the phone.
I then had to call back once finding a check (that I never use as all bills are on auto pay through my card) in order to make this payment that took over THREE hours. How just how is there so much confusion? And why does it take Amazon hours to simply tell me they can’t help me and just be able to get me to someone who can? I also chatted with a rep after this horrendous experience to request an email for corporate and after getting the run around for 20 minutes (what is my complaint and how can they handle it and tell them more) I was finally able to get an email. That is for customer service, the very reps I dealt with, not corporate. He assured me they can escalate. But during one of my lovely rep conversations I asked for a manager and he told me they have none of those. Then minutes later told me they only have supervisors. I told him, "Okay well that’s what I’m looking for, same thing just a higher up."
I’ve seriously lost hope in Amazon as of this experience. I don't understand why making a payment and getting to the correct department took three hours and why no one seemed to understand anything about anything on my account. This is highly concerning and highly unprofessional. Worst customer service experience of my life. I will be calling corporate tomorrow because no way in heck am I going to put faith in one more representative to escalate my issue for the poor service. As not one representative knew what they were talking about or were able to assist me.
UPDATE ** Went to add pictures of my chat with several of the representatives and only the last one is there where I asked for email for corporate. Very fishy considering all my other inquires for the past few months are there. Seems like they trying to cover tracks with the serious incompetence and lack of support today. This is completely unacceptable.

Very recently, I ordered a a pair of glasses; the small box (2"x 6"x 2") the product was package was very secure, and a simple envelope would have sufficed. Instead, I got a huge cardboard box (18"x 12"x 6") filled with those inflated plastic fillers. Amazon talks about about one of their corporate values being sustainability; seems to be a conflict here. Furthermore, I commented on the packaging as part of the product review; pointing out the irresponsibility of Amazon. Amazon refused to publish the comment. I have been using Amazon India since 5-odd years. Overall I am very satisfied by their service EXCEPT for the issue relating to "fake" products or products "not as advertised" which compromise about 90% of my returns, the remaining 10% due to transport issues which have since been fixed after I wrote and complained to Jeff a few times. The problem with fake/fraudulent products is that often the fraud comes to light only after usage and lapse of the returns period, which in India is 10 days. To illustrate, I purchased an auto-ignition gas stove portrayed by merchant as having brass burners. But after (light) usage the burner turned black, i.e. not of brass but of iron. Have raised the matter for return and refund... I am sure Amazon will do the needful as they have done in past BUT after considerable correspondence and effort. Other than this LONG LIVE AMAZON.

Amazon have broken UK laws & UK consumer laws, firstly they have allowed/coerced a minor into opening an account with them, without either parental consent or authority, then they refuse to honour a binding 2 year warranty, trying to hide behind UK laws, while blatantly breaking UK laws. They can't have it both ways and I suggest everyone to boycott Amazon products, AS THEY DO NOT HONOUR THEIR OWN WARRANTIES, WHILE TOTALLY FAILING IN SUPPLYING CUSTOMER SERVICE.

If I could access my account I would be able to verify the date of my recent shipment. Since I can no longer access my Amazon account, I guess they will eventually lose me as a customer. The customer should not be burdened with the extra steps when the mistake was made by the company. I am very unhappy. Since Amazon has always handled my queries in a satisfying way I assume the problem is with Catry. I will not order from Catry again. I would like a partial credit for this item in addition to my full refund. Amazon has always made it right.

Wastage of money and time. Do not buy this product. Garbage product. Do not buy anything from Amazon. I asked for return of my vacuum money and still didn’t get any response. I contacted to their department almost 4-5 times. They said they processing the claim but didn’t received any email yet. They are just making people fool. Do not trust Amazon Canada.

I have been an Amazon Prime member for years. I am vegan and have dietary restrictions, so it is often the fastest and cheapest place to find items I use regularly. Before they started having their own delivery drivers it wasn't uncommon to have a package delayed a day or two. My most recent one has been delayed 5 days. I order Protein powder literally once a week, and it was ordered on a Thursday and expected on Sunday. Monday came and went, nothing except "package delayed".
Tuesday night and I got on with customer service. They said delivery Wednesday, and I told them if it was going to be 9pm don't bother and refund me. The woman said she could make sure it was delivered before 8am. 9 PM WEDNESDAY NIGHT and still nothing. So I spend 3 more hours on chat with Amazon telling them I just wanted a refund. They asked me why I changed the delivery date - I didn't. They also had put a note the previous day that someone needed to be home to sign for it. WTF. Also on the list of things I did not ask. But apparently customer service decided to change all that for me to be helpful.
They spent the three hours apologizing and saying if I wanted a refund they couldn't do it on chat. Let's ignore the fact I've had refunds over chat before. I was told this from FIVE DIFFERENT PEOPLE. So finally I cave and the woman who calls me happens to have the same very distinctive name of the last woman who was on chat with me. She also speaks very quietly and is difficult to understand. At the end of the conversation I ask why the refund couldn't be give over chat? She tells me it should have been available that way. I am so done with this company.

Amazon ripped me off. They sent me the totally wrong item (an adhesive wall tile piece), when I ordered a tree pruner! I sent the tile piece back to them. Now they say I didn’t return my item (the pruner) so they have charged me twice. I tried to get assistance but they refused to refund.

I bought a portable air conditioner on Amazon's big Prime day sale for 140 euros less than listed. The Product never arrived. Amazon said they could resend the product (an Amazon product, not third-party) but I would have to pay the full price. Obvious scam.

29th Jul 2019 I received a call from the delivery boy. I informed him that I am not there please come before or by 9 pm. He denied and said, "I only do service till 7 pm." I said, "Ok you come tomorrow." He again denied that he is not working tomorrow. I said, "Ok then Reschedule it on Saturday." He said ok. Once I cut the call I received a mail saying my order has been cancelled and is returning to the seller. I immediately called the delivery boy but he was talking rubbish. I then took the help of Customer service where they are not even aware of thing their delivery agents are doing. I informed them about the whole scenario. As per yesterday's conversation they mentioned that it will be delivered today. But today when I rechecked it is saying refunded.
Today 30th Jul 2019 I again called customer service and asked what is the status they informed me, "Ma'am it is showing refunded." I said, "I also know that, but I was been promised that the gift item will be delivered by today." She said that, "Ma'am the only solution now place a new order." Are these online portals making fool of the customer's time? Or they are thinking that no one can point at them. I want to take a serious step against Amazon as they have wasted my time from ordering to following up with stupid customer service they have.

We are not happy with Amazon Prime delivery service. They keep delivering our packages to the wrong house and we get packages from other people. We even told the driver that he has delivered to the wrong address and he didn’t even care. They need to hire employees who take their job more seriously or they will eventually go bankrupt.

I'm so furious, Amazon promised they'd have my 6yr old grand daughter's Birthday supplies here yesterday 7/26/19 in plenty of time for her party on 7/28/19, but NO it's not here.. Apparently the driver is unable to follow simple directions, after calling into Amazon 3 times today trying to get the driver to deliver to the correct place, still no packages... Called again and was informed can't deliver until tomorrow the day of the party and no guarantee it will be here in time... This is ridiculous, I pay for the Amazon Prime plus always spend at least $2000 every Christmas with this Company and very seriously rethinking future purchases... Very unsatisfied.

You will think that if they let you order an item out of stock you will get it when it comes available. Well it's not, they canceled my order after I was waiting for several weeks and missing the chance to get it somewhere else, to find out they have it but more expensive.

Spoke to a guy named Fernando who dismissed my issue and told me to call customer service and then hung up on me. I called the number I was told to call. Nice employees you got there. I’m a server and would never dismiss a customer like that.

My Amazon Prime account was hacked, and an expensive iPad was shipped to a person out-of-state, completely unknown to me. This item is masked in my Order History, and I did not receive any emails notifying me of this order. Thank goodness for American Express, they denied the charge, but meanwhile Amazon closed my account. They take no responsibility for the hacking, and no responsibility for their lack of security. Customer Service was terrible, long wait times, no one communicating with me unless I called and insisted on speaking with a manager. They cannot explain the hacking, they do not apologize for the lack of security, they more or less shrug their shoulders and move on. This is a company drowning in money with no knowledge of how to directly interact with the customer.

Ordered off of Amazon Prime...Promised next day shipping and 4 days later still didn’t have product. Checked the shipping site and it kept saying it should be here today. Called Amazon and they proceed to tell me the package has been lost and they will just refund the money. Nice that they let me know that it wasn’t coming. I have a child that has been waiting patiently every day for a product that’s not even gonna be here now.???

I put items in my basket. Stop for a cup of coffee. Resume shopping for find. The price of some of the items that are in my cart just went up, or you get information that although you have a certain item in your cart, all of a sudden we are out of stock. What does Amazon do, carry one of each item. This happens a lot as with price increase. I tried calling Amazon's so called customer service... you've got it...OUT OF THE COUNTRY. I cannot understand them. Shopping locally, at least I will have the items. And KNOW what I paid. Now, off to FACEBOOK!

Don't order Funko Pop on Amazon that is sent from an Amazon warehouse. If you are a collector, the actual Pop box will probably be damaged. I thought asking for a replacement would ensure the next shipment would be packaged more carefully. That is not the case. I have been frequently adding to my collection over the last year but will never again order Funko Pop from Amazon.

Additionally, some programs are now stopping mid-episode, always at the same spot, and on different devices, using different WiFi. The problem is not with our devices, modem or router. Numerous contacts with Amazon has not resolved the problem.

We have been Amazon customers for YEARS. We lived in the boonies of Texas and would get both our Prime orders and regular orders either on time or even early. Recently moved to a Big City, and in 2 weeks and have had issues with 3 orders. First time even though it was a Prime order, the driver turned around when he was ONE BLOCK from our house because he said he was 'running out of time to return to the main warehouse'. Yesterday another order was to be delivered. I got an email stating it was running late and would be up to another 4 days before it would be delivered. It was a gift I was taking out of state today (and I also didn't want 'candy' sitting in the AZ sun for 4 days while I was gone).
When I called, I was first given to a representative that I could not understand due to their accent. I asked to speak to someone else. Then I was given to a Spanish speaking representative. I asked AGAIN to speak to someone that I could understand. Then I was given a representative that said they could 're-schedule' my delivery for when I returned from my trip (it was supposed to go with me on the trip). Finally I asked for a Supervisor. JOE ** - the Supervisor then finally tells me my package was LOST. He could NOT tell me WHY I had got a mis-leading email. He could NOT tell me why another representative told me they could re-schedule the delivery. He told me NOTHING other than they would refund me and send me a credit. Never even got the credit. SHAME ON YOU AMAZON - you just lost a very long time customer. DONE WITH YOU!!!

Sent me an email at 3 am in the morning Thursday. The said they were shipping another new HD Fire 10 to me. It's due to arrive Friday by 8pm. I can say they definitely impressed me with the quick and friendly service. Thank you Amazon. You made my son really happy...
