Nutrisystem is a great system....but way too overpriced!!! Also all of the lunch/dinner meals give off a fishy smell!! !

There is no doubt that the program does work. I used it as a kick start for 3 months to get me on track and lose some weight for my daughter's upcoming wedding. I would definitely recommend Nutrisystem.

I don't think you want me to be explicit. The food is very greasy. The food causes diarrhea..... which is maybe how a person loses weight? It also causes intense gas. I thought it was very poor quality.

I found Nutri-System to be a good diet experience because I like how easy it is to follow. The fact that I lost 4 1/2 lbs. in the first week was very encouraging. There were a few food items I did not care for in my first order, and it was very easy to change my order to things I liked for the second month. I reached my goal in two months, and will use food portion control to maintain my weight. If I need help I will not hesitate to shop Nutri-System a la carte menu.

NS is no longer a "program". It has become a way of life for me. At the age of 54 and physically unable to exercise, I lost an average of 1 lb per week since 2/13 until now 5/14--58 total with 20 more as my goal. I could have NEVER done this without the structure and life change NS has given me. I highly recommend NS.

I started NS after months of hitting the gym hard and hit a plateau. Seemed like no matter what I tried the pounds just didn't want to come off. I tried NS. I started with Fast 5, and I lost 5 lbs!! Then I kept losing more gradually, the healthy way. One day I decided to try my old jeans on again. To my surprise... they fit and I even looked good in them! I have always had great service and support whenever I needed it. Would I recommend NS? YES!

This is the second time that I have turned to Nutrisystem to help me get back on track with my weight. The first time I lost 20 lbs. This time I had less to lose. I am down 10 lbs so far and would like to lose a couple more. So, obviously I believe in the program. The food is very tasty. The nutrients are combined in the way necessary to promote healthy weight loss (protein/fiber/fat/carbs). The portions also are sized appropriately. For some on the program for the first time, the smaller sized portions may be a difficult adjustment. But given a little time, the body does acclimate itself to the reduced amount of food. It does not take long to feel satisfied, if the program is followed correctly (the snacks are important).

I personally have no idea what happened. I was on Nutrisystem's main website. I wanted to order the $239.99 women's basic package. That's it. I saw the deal, thought about it. Went back on the site 5 hours later and the package all of a sudden was $259.99. I called in the customer service line. The site says to call 1-800-435-4074 and this guy picks up, says, "Nutrisystem. How can we help you?" I said I'd like to get the $239.99 package. He tries to verify my info by asking my name and phone number I'm calling from. He says a completely different name and number. Then he says the $239.99 package doesn't exist. Is this a person scamming the Nutrisystem website? If so this company better get on the ball because they have potentially lost me as a customer and I haven't even bought anything yet.

I was fat, and there was no way of denying it. I had no energy and was out of breath when tying my shoes, and I had to lie down and suck on my stomach to button my jeans closed. I decided to use Nutrisystem. I was recently 273#, and tried to lose weight on my own. Within 9 weeks of starting Nutrisystem, I got down to 236, a 37# loss of ugly fat. Nutrisystem has taught me better self-control with their satisfying portions spread throughout the day, and the food is delicious. I could barely do 10 minutes on my recumbent exercise bicycle, and now breeze through 1 1/2 hours at top speed easily. I'm on the road to lose more weight and have lots of thanks to Nutrisystem for the encouragement and its practicality. Thank you, Nutrisystem. I'm a believer and will encourage others to use the program if they are suffering under their own weight.

After suspecting that my wife's frozen order had thawed before being shipped, I contacted Jean ** at Customer Service. She agreed with our assessment, asked my wife to not eat any of the frozen food, and is shipping a replacement order. My wife and I were both very impressed with Nutrisystem's commitment to customer satisfaction.

I have a hard time losing weight and have tried everything. This is the only thing that has worked and I have kept it off for 8 years now. I want to lose an extra 20 pounds.

After my 3rd child, I found myself overweight and struggling to get back to the shape I once was in prior to having children. I was always an athlete, but whatever routines and exercises I tried never seemed to work. I had come across the Jump Start box at Walmart and bought it. After my 1st week I had lost 3 lbs and really enjoyed the food and the program. It was easy to fit in my busy life, being a single, full-time working mom of 3. I then bought the My Way Plan because I wanted the continued success. Within 5 weeks, I had lost 18lb (!) and dropped 2 dress sizes. The program teaches you how to eat healthy and right... NO GIMMICKS! I incorporated exercise (doing 30 mins a day 4-5 x a week). I have another 12lbs to go. It has never been this easy for me! I am back into the size I wore in College. Kudos to Nutrisystem for providing a program that offers delicious food, ease of use, and exceptional results! One of the best choices I made for myself by far!

I needed to lose about 20 pounds so I decided to go on Nutri System. Over the last four months I lost the 20 pounds and 3 inches off my waist. You do need to exercise while on any diet. To succeed you need to follow the food recommendations and exercise. You should lose 5 pounds the first week, I did. Great diet to be on and it is healthy.

I lost over 30 pounds! The plan worked for me because I was able to gain more knowledge of portion control. Also I realized I wasn't eating enough of the right foods at the right time. It was so easy and because of the process I have created better eating habits that I will be using for years to come. Thank you for a wonderful program.

I've been successful on other diet plans but this hands down the winner. About every 10 or 15 years my weights creeps-up to a point I'm uncomfortable. First diet - liquid shakes - worked okay but it was boring. The second try was Atkins, it works too but the diet gets old fast. Nutrisystem is balanced, varied, and tasty. I learned how to eat and how much to eat on this diet. Just great!

The meal plan was so easy to follow. After the first week of planning and getting used to the Nutrisystem way of eating, it became an automatic habit to continue it. Even after achieving my goal of losing 25 lbs.

It allowed my stomach to shrink and educated me on portion size. I have lost 12 pounds in five weeks and well on my way to my goal.

Thanks to Nutrisystem. I received three months of meals and shakes for free to be part of the Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program. I started with the Fast 5 for one week, during which I lost 8 lbs. After that I followed the program except for a few days, and I lost a total of 23 lbs. It was an easy program to follow, and aside from the spicy meals (I don't eat spicy foods) everything was really good. My favorite meals tended to be the frozen ones, although the bars and shakes were delicious as well. The beauty of the program is that even though the portions are much smaller than what I was used to, I enjoyed the food and felt full after every meal. I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking to get a jump start on serious weight loss. (These words and opinions are mine.)

Much lower than I hoped but overall I liked the program. Portion size was determined by size of meal, therefore, hard to accidentally cheat. 1200 calories was too much for me but I took out a couple of options each day and got it down to under 1000 calories and was able to lose 3-4 lbs per month.

I set a goal of 30 lbs. I started with the fast five and was hungry for the first week but I did lose 7 lbs. As the program continued I lost about 2 lbs. per week and had fewer problems with hunger. I saw I would reach my goal around the end of the second month and called to end my program. Everything went well and I can go to my regular diet using what I learned on Nutrisystem.

Started almost 3 months ago and have lost 30 lbs. That was my goal and it was easy. I enjoyed most of the food and supplemented with lots of yummy veggies. Regular exercise helped as well as proper rest and plenty of water. My new goal is to keep it off and stay in great shape. Thanks, Nutrisystem!

I love the plan. I was able to lose the weight I wanted. The food was ok to very good. I didn't think it was possible to eat only 1200 calories and not be hungry. It was so easy to follow and lose the weight. I do wish that there could be online coupons to get some $$ impact.

It worked great for me. I'm a senior citizen (widower). The food is very good and healthy and easy to fix. It save a lot of time for me and served its purpose of weight loss - 10 lbs. which was my goal. It also changed my eating habits for the better. If I gain weight again I will come right back to Nutrisystem. Thank you very much.

I was very pleased with this plan. It was offered to me at a discount price while helped make it affordable and without this discount, I would not have purchased it. I feel the regular price is very high for the meals that are included. I found the prepackaged plan had too many items that were rated low on the website. I did lose the amount of weight that I wanted and the weight loss guidelines are accurate. All in all, I would recommend this plan to anyone who wanted to lose weight without counting points, calories or being hungry.

I do not think all your reps are on the same page when selling NS. I canceled further orders on a temp. basis, but when I called to get another order, I was told because I only wanted packaged food and no frozen for a month, I was told I had to take more than a month. I think I should be able to decide if I need more than a month as I continue to try & lose weight. I just canceled with you because I was not told that with my first order.

Being a physician, I knew all the answers but allowed my chaotic life to slowly add weight over the years. In medical school, I ran marathons during the early days of the Running Boom (late 1970s-early 1980s). My weight ... 155 at 5'8"! I looked more like a weightlifter who had lost his way and stumbled into a crowd of runners. However, over the years, I allowed my weight to reach a staggering 195! Oh, I still exercised - cycling/strength training - but my eating habits were not in my favor. I thought about Nutrisystem for years but never gave it a chance. That is until January 2014.

I have lost 35 lbs in 3 months. If you do what they tell you and eat their meals, you should lost weight. It work for me and I hope it work for you. I have 10 lbs more to go but I know it will happen. Just don't cheat. I have never been happier. I am 68 y/o, never felt better.

I did this diet 20 years ago and I repeat this experience because I appreciate how much it's easy. It's a diet for the lazy. You don't have to preoccupy yourself to do your eat, you just have to prepared vegetables....When you have kids, it's very perfect!

The program is a good one. My circumstances were such that I did not lose the weight that I set out to lose. I only lost 10 pounds and that was in the beginning. I got tired of the food pretty quickly. It wasn't as good as I had remembered from when I lost weight before on the program. I think, also, that it was annoying to try to select food only to find that what I liked had been discontinued and a lot of substitutions were sent along rather than what I had ordered because you were low on many of the snacks that I loved.

I was never told about extra charges if auto delivery was cancelled. The program is not working for me, so I decided to cancel. Besides the 75.00 charge the rep was arrogant, nasty and angry. Cut me short and hung up before I could finish. I would never recommend.

I have tried this diet in the past (regular women's plan) and had some success but not a lot, good bored with the food. Variety was not there. Cost is very high and if you have a lot of weight to lose then the cost can run into the thousands, I am not sure how people do this but going into debt is something that I am not prepared to do with this diet. I have just been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and so went on the women's diabetic plan. The foods just do not have a lot of taste and with my cancer meds and other meds it caused considerable problems with my bowels and stomach. Tried to upgrade to the Select plan thinking more variety in foods would help but that was not the case.

NS is a great program to help you start on your weight loss journey. Being on the program helped me to understand portion control and showed me that how I ate and in what amounts determined if I gained, lost or maintained weight. In addition to eating right and exercising (Zumba), I am progressing nicely towards my weight loss goal. It's great to get on the scale each week and see the numbers going down but it is even better to put on clothes and feel absolutely wonderful.

I found every part of my experience with Nutrisystem to be easy! Customer service initially answered all my questions and concerns and helped me place my first order. The food arrived promptly. The program was very easy to understand and to follow without feeling hungry or deprived. The food tasted great! Each month it was easy to adjust my order to meet my needs and preferences. After I reached my goal, it was easy to maintain a few weeks and to terminate my orders. Definitely made losing weight easy and painless!!

I have been on Nutrisystem for 3 months now. I have lost about 20 pounds and not only have I been able to lose weight but I'm learning important things like portion size and adding in lots of vegetables. If nothing else has worked for you, try Nutrisystem.

I had always struggled with weight loss. I have 4 kids, so pregnancy kept adding on the pounds, and it kept getting harder and harder to get the weight off. When I began Nutrisystem, I was 155 lbs. My starting goal was to get down to 135 lbs. By my very last weigh-in, I had made my goal! I lost 20 lbs. Nutrisystem taught me how to portion my meals, drink more water, eat healthier, so that I could make my goal in a healthy, risk-free way. I now choose water and sugar-free drinks over soda, along with veggies over greasy chips. I'm very satisfied with this program!

I have been on the program now for only one week and I am totally impressed with the taste of the food. I love the way everything is portioned out for you and the program is so easy to follow. I recommend it so far. I just have to make sure I lose weight off it now.

I really hesitated to start Nutrisystem at first because of the cost, and it took me a while to finally commit. I decided that I'd try it for a month or two and hoped it would "jump start" my weight loss, and help me to continue on my own, and it did just that! On two months of NS, I lost about 13 lbs, and then continued to lose on my own afterward! I'm down 17.6 lbs in 3 months and am SO happy!!!

Consultation with counselor, Shirley ** - Shirley was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and most of all encouraging. I really benefit from having a person who understands what I am trying to do, asks the right questions and have the good solid solutions for everyday situations.

When I first looked into it, I was leery of the program. It took me a while to decide to try the program. When I finally made the commitment, I was very motivated to lose the weight. I am very happy with how it has worked. I have lost 26 lbs. since I started Jan. 14. I have made the decision to not continue not because I was unhappy but because of financial reason. It was a scary decision. I am on a fixed income and other priorities were push ahead of the program. If there was any negative to Nutrisystem, it would be the cost. I still tell anyone that asks that the program works and that I was very happy with it. My goal was to lose 30 lbs. but now I will try for more. My doctor says I could go to 40 lbs. but no more. I tried to lose weight by trying different methods. I would only lose a few pounds and I was always hungry. I looked online for a plan that would be good for me. I chose Nutrisystem mainly because I was able to see the kinds of food I would be getting. I was pleased to find that the food was better than I thought it would be taste wise. I had great results in the first month and lost 17 lbs. I hit my target weight loss by the end of the second month.

I enjoyed the frozen food very much but the others like lunch soups and other, I DID not like. I lost 8 pounds in 3 weeks.

My goal to lose 20 pounds was achieved and surpassed! I have currently lost 23 pounds and have decided to go for 30! Once you get the hang of the program it is very easy to follow and convenient. I have already recommended it to two of my friends. My husband has also lost 22 lbs. on the program. My only suggestion would be for my particular taste the lunch selection wasn't very good. Also, it would be nice to be able to buy just breakfast & dinner items on the renewal program instead of having to continue to order 28 lunches. That is the reason I cancelled. Very good experience over all!

For me, the key was/is "portion control" and keeping accurate track of calories; both of which are made easy by the Nutrisystem. Also, the entrees are well-spiced which I think helps to satisfy. I have used your system several years ago with similar results and although I intend to try and maintain my weight, if I need help in the future I'll be back.

I was on the Nutrisystem Program for several months. For the first few months, the product helped me loose a few pounds, but I did not like many of the meals selected by the company. Some of the meals just were not as appealing or tasty as advertised, they also did not satisfy my hunger. I tried to choose desirable meals from the menu offered but received numerous substitutions, which in most cases I did not like. I continued trying to like the product, but I had a lot of difficulty with excessive gas, constipation and bloating.

I was on the program twice. Overall I lost 40 pounds and lowered my blood sugar numbers, I am very happy with my results. Food is good and program is easy to do. Thanks.

Nutrisystem enabled me to finally achieve the goal of weight loss that had eluded my annual New Year's resolutions to lose weight for years. I learned how to eat less, use portion control, and also it took the temptation to choose junk food away by providing a healthy alternative. I didn't have to choose. I just had to eat the good food! The weight just came off and I never felt deprived. I lost forty pounds and feel great! I need new clothes! I have been recommending Nutrisystem to friends. Thanks!

I canceled this program after two shipments due to some dissatisfaction. When I signed up for the program, it was made to seem like the program and some exercise would be all I need to lose the weight. The price was high but if that is all I had to put out other than a couple of things such as milk, I would make it. I got the order which had been picked for me by my sales rep. I had informed him of an allergy I had but yet, there were foods in the box that I could not have due to that allergy. I then also started reading the included book about how to work the plan and found out that I would be needing to go out and buy a lot more food to supplement the program. This ended up being pricey on top of what I was already paying out for items that are little more than a $1 cup a noodle.

"Fast 5" was really hard but now I'm almost done with week 2 and I feel great. I am on Day 11 and I'm 6.2 pounds down. I see and feel a difference. I have also been working out every single day. I have not missed a day since I started. I would definitely recommend Nutrisystem to anyone who struggles with portion control. I have started a blog that follows me through my journey with Nutrisystem step by step and reviews a lot of the foods that are given.

It worked for me because everything was ready to eat. No measuring, no shopping, just go in cabinet and pick what you want to eat!

You don't get much food, but in order to take off the weight, there have to be limitations. Bottom line is, eat less... move more. Worked for me because I followed the plan. When I would get stuck (still following the plan perfectly), I would call a counselor and they would give me tips. Before long, the scale was moving, SLOWLY. I do find that NS is expensive and sometimes hard to justify the price when losing only 1-2 lbs a week. Felt like I could have done the same thing, without paying the expensive NS price.

So far, I am satisfied with my progress. I am 5 weeks into the program and am losing at a steady rate. I am targeting to meet my goal by the end of June. I am satisfied with all the meal selections. However, I have an insomnia problem, so I am not able to sleep for long periods... That makes me snack more at the night hours. I try to use fruit or the packaged cheese puffs to stop the hunger. It seems to be working.

I had an account with Nutrisystem a very long time ago that was canceled in November of 2012. In February 2014, my debit card was tagged for fraudulent activity. Can you guess who set the red flag off? Nutrisystem. I went completely vegan after Nutrisystem. I have no need for it. I didn't order it. I was advised on the phone by the fraud dept. that Nutrisystem had tried to run my card multiple times over a period of a month. But because I could not afford to cancel and wait for a new debit card, I had them release the card in hopes that it was an error that Nutrisystem caught. Big mistake. No new charges popped up on my account on March 18th, 2014 when they managed to pull $269.00 from my account. Funny, because up until that point they tried to charge over $300.

In my 11th week and I have lost over 21 pounds. Even though the food is better than expected, I recommend that you supplement your meals once a week with your own recipes. I have also found going out once a week and ordering from the "light" menus has been a tremendous boost as well. Now, I have found at least two meals I like, that are good for me, at many of my favorite restaurants. Hoping to lose another 5 pounds or so and then making the lifetime adjustment.

This is my second experience with Nutrisystem. This time I lost 39 pounds. It took a lot of Will Power to change the way I eat and exercie. At first, I lost the first 10 pounds with ease, then the weight loss was slow until I changed my lifestyle. My plan was to re-evaluate my food intake, "what" I was eating and "when". For my exercise I used an old DVD that Nutrisystem sent me four years ago when I first tried the plan. It's called the "Womans Walk" . I did the two mile walk seven days a week Monday through Saturday. I would weigh myself on Fridays. After the first six weeks the weight started to fall off and I could "See" my body change! The secret is to MOVE constantly. I would highly recommend the program! Thank You for giving me back my GIRLISH FIGURE!

The Program works and works well. The worst part for me was the craving and with their protein bars and morning drinks, I was able to keep on track and lost over 10 pounds in 2 month with Exercise. The only complaint that I have was even when ordering specific items, substitutions would be made without notifying me of the changes.

I just called to cancel my order today, and was informed that because I am cancelling before receiving my second shipment I would be charged $82.49 as a result (the equivalent of the 20% discount I received for the initial order). I reviewed my initial receipt and Nutrisystem account details and there was nothing in either advising me of such a fee. Moreover, I do not recall ever being advised of such a charge up front. Can't help but think this seems ripe for a class action lawsuit.

I am taking a break for NutriSystem. Got in a rut after a year. I always give myself a year or 2 break. The food is good, easy to prepare. Lost 20 pounds which makes me happy. And have kept it off.

I followed your advice. I lost 27 lbs in 2 months, we eat out a lot and the eating out guide was a life saver. I have had 3 blood pressure pills cancelled because of my weight loss. If I start to gain weight I will reorder nutrisystem because I know it works.

I decided to cancel my account because I didn't love the food and I can cook for myself for a lot less money. I was notified that when I cancelled my account I would be charged $85.00 because it was no longer a recurring order. Seriously? Because I didn't like your product?

I started on Nutrisystem Jan. 1. In three months, I have lost 25 lbs. What I have learned the most is portion size. I am comfortably full not having eaten a huge plate of food and as Nutrisystem teaches eating 6 times a day. It couldn't have been easier.

Great experience. I changed my eating habits too. Eating so many more vegetables, less fruit, less protein, more what are they called the category with almonds or buttermilk. Oh and eating frequent small meals.

Was very pleased with ordering process and every shipment arrived on time and was accurate. Enjoyed the website and anytime I called my questions were answered in a friendly professional manner. Met my goal loss.

I have lost over 40 pounds in two and a half months on Nutrisystem. I am the owner of a radio station and as part of my job I travel a lot of evenings broadcasting sporting events and don't have a lot of time to prepare meals. Nutrisystem was the perfect diet for me. Everything was prepared for me and easy to prepare and eat. The most important part is it taught me portion control, which is a problem I have had only eating two times a day. Now I eat five to six times a day and am never hungry, even running four to five miles a day.

The program works very well for me. I would like to see more new food items in Basic and Core programs. Overall, I will use Nutrisystem again for healthy weight loss and have recommended it to my friends.

This is a very easy program to be on. The food is very good and the variety is great. The staff at Nutrisystem was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Nutrisystem worked great for me. It's the only way I was able to lose the 20 pounds I wanted to lose. It's easy, reasonably priced if you consider what you pay for each meal and the food was mostly very good.

I wish I could still do the weekends off program. I would join Nutrisystem again. I simply can't afford $300-350 a month for food. I only have a $200 budget for food.

Excellent choice of foods, actually loved this diet and lost 35 lbs. I've now changed my eating habits and feel fantastic. The food tastes great and love the fact that you also get frozen foods. I did the auto delivery and it always came in time. I highly recommend this diet to anyone.

I joined the Nutrisystem program with the intention of losing 31 pounds in 8 weeks. As I enter my 8th week, I have lost 27 pounds and am looking to lose a few more by the end of the week. The system worked for me with little or no problems or starvation. I'd highly recommend this program to those who seriously want to lose weight.

It portions out what I eat. I can swap breakfast and dinner depending on my daily schedule. I can select what foods I get to eat. I can have some form of chocolate every day. If I skip a day to celebrate, I can resume the diet without much guilt and keep going. I have lost about 15 pounds in 5 weeks and still going.

I lost 10 Pounds with a months’ worth of food. I have food for another month, so I hope to lose 10 more. The food is great, but I should have ordered more variety.

Your 5-day shakes were awful, unpalatable. I guess I needed more hands-on interactions with your consultants. Emails generally go unread. I don't know what I expected, but was not happy with your program. I have 2 months' worth of your food that will probably end up in the trash. Perhaps I had difficulty because I work nights and never knew what meal I should be eating. But, I was disappointed with your product.

I subscribed for two months, and saw a decent change in the way my clothes fit. Although I do not own a scale at home, it was easy to tell, by the fit of my clothes, that I was losing inches - and THAT is what I wanted at the start of the program. I recommend trying it out. PS - although I feared the food would taste like cardboard, IT DID NOT, and I was happily surprised at the taste!!!!

I found NutriSystem very easy to follow. The food was delicious and very seldom did I feel hungry. I have learned how to eat and lose weight and NOT skip meals as I have always done in the past when I have wanted to lose weight. I am keeping the weight off since stopping and would recommend this program to everyone.

I could not have lost this weight without the help and support of Nutrisystem. I had been overweight for almost 5 years. I needed something easy and good tasting. I got all that with Nutrisystem. I don't have time to go for weigh-ins, I have a scale right there in my bathroom. I also had the convenience of having dietary counselors available to answer my questions as needed. This is such a yummy and no-brainer program. It just doesn't get any better. Thank you Nutrisystem!

Nutrisystem is incredible! I lost 25 pounds in 8 weeks!!! I would recommend NS to anyone that is serious about losing weight and learning how to eat healthy, they will teach you how to live better.

My wife signed her & I up for the 2 month plan. We didn't realize a weight loss and much of the processed food wasn't good to the taste or for our health. Needless to say, we called and cancelled the program. However they charged us $89 to cancel and then continued to ship. We called again and they tried to say we only cancelled one order and gave us a return label. Then they charged us the full price again. I called for the refund and again they held back $89 claiming it's in their fine print. Said we could have returned first month's for a partial refund but didn't say that when we cancelled. We threw the stuff out and recommend others be careful with this company.

I tried Nutrisystem and suffered Migraines from all the processed foods. Even though my told me to try it and see if it helps. Nutrisystem would not give me my money back because it was past the 30 days. They do not take any situation personal they make not exceptions. This company is supposed to help people but yet they don't even understand when a medical condition prohibits you from using their product. I am very disappointed in my decision to ever deal with this company at all. Stay away from them.

I received a package for woman and I'm a man, and very different from the order that I made. I called two times, but I didn't receive any help, and the second operator was very rude. I put the order on the trash! Never, I'll order again from Nutrisystem.

I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Nutrisystem. Other than not being a fan of beans, everything was good and easy to make. Honestly it's expensive and a little scary to make that kind of commitment to a diet. That being said my experience was fantastic. The food is really good and I'm a very picky eater. The first five in seven days was a little difficult and honestly I was afraid to step on the scale afterwards. But I lost 9 pounds in the first 7 days. Once you get to the actual 28 day program you get a lot more to eat and I usually ate every hour all day. My goal was 20 lbs and I figured it would take about two months. I lost 22 lbs in 34 days. I was amazed I didn't exercise much but I do have a pretty active job. I just received my second 28 days and I've already exceeded my goal. So now it was time to cancel and to be honest I thought it was going to be a hassle. To my surprise it was very quick and easy. They asked me how it worked for me, said it was cancelled and I received an email instantly showing it was cancelled. I would definitely recommend this program. Just a side note I did cheat on this diet a couple times and it still worked.

I have been using the Nutrisystem 5 day kit box I purchased at Walmart and have lost 10 pounds in 5 weeks on it. I love it, so easy and food is delicious. I like the "homestyle" choice the best. Thought I would never be able to lose due to menopause and slowed metabolism but I was wrong. Nutrisystem works! It really does! Worth every penny to me :)

I began NS in March of 2013 at 178lbs. In March of 2014 I am 135lbs. I stopped eating NS pre-packaged foods at 6 months and eating from NS recipes and portion guides. I have continued to follow the NS eating guide and continue to have successful weight loss. I would like to get the 40 & 50lb bears but when I stopped ordering food from NS, I was locked out of the website. It was my understanding that NS was a lifetime community.

I had been struggling with weight in middle age and I am a lifetime member of Weight Watchers, I was going to a gym 4 times a week with no changes on the scale! It was frustrating to say the least. My husband and I started Nutrisystem together. We are on it 5 weeks. He has lost over 15 lbs and I have lost over 10. Most of the food is very good and we feel satisfied! We would highly recommend this diet to anyone needing to lose weight.

I have tried dieting on my own, but never succeeding. My problem was that I couldn't control how much food I out on my plate. After watching the commercials about Nutrisytem on t.v. numerous times, I decided to give it a try. Not only did it teach me the right portions of food to eat, I began losing weight the very first week! I was so excited!

I tried NutriSystem for several months and did lose weight very slowly as the diet doesn't fit my work schedule. However, the food gave me and my sister severe gas and has triggered both our bowel diseases to flare up. I do not recommend this food to anyone with any kind of bowel disease. The pain is not worth it.

I had a very good experience with Nutrisystem. My biggest problem losing weight was portion control. This diet solved this problem for me. I did not over eat. I also did not get hungry. I canceled my order because I felt that I had overcome this issue. Also, Nutrisystem was a little over my food budget. However, like I said, I believe that I can now utilize the lesson I learned from your guidelines. I would recommend a trial of your products to friends. I lost 12 pounds in five weeks. If I find that I cannot control my portions I will restart your program.

Nutrisystem sucks!! I paid $229.00 for my first shipment and all the foods are the same!! Repeats!! I guess $230.00 doesn't buy what it used to. I am hungry all the time, I don't think that's how it should work. When I canceled any future shipments, they charged me a cancellation fee of $61.50!! What!!? What a crock!! Will never do business with Nutrisystem again!! I can eat Lean Cuisine or Weight Watchers dinners and get better results. That's all I got. Sorry, but true.

I had been struggling with losing the last ten pounds to reach my normal BMI. After my hip surgery, I decided that the convenience of Nutri-System would help me by not having to worry about preparing meals. It was so convenient having the three meals and snacks right at my finger tips and ready to go into the microwave. The food was good and nutritious. I didn't get hungry and was not tempted to cheat. I kept a list of my grams of protein and fiber. Adding an English muffin each day added only one hundred calories and the needed nutrients to meet my protein and fiber needs. This might be something you would consider as part of your plan. Overall, I would rate Nutri System as excellent.

Overall had a good experience with Nutrisystem. The food was good and I was able to determine which meals I liked best. Had great experiences with the customer service that was provided over the phone. If I felt like I needed to go back I would and know I would be successful again.

My experience was a good one. Specifically, I learned that I need to change the types of foods that I eat and the frequency upon which I eat them. It was an enlightening experience.

I am a 66 year old male that was a bit overweight to the point of not feeling comfortable with myself and fitting into my clothes. Over the years I have always used the "Fit for life" diet which is mainly fruits and vegetables. It had always worked for me when in my 30's, 40's and into my 50's. When I reached my 60's I found I could no longer stick that type of diet. At the very start of last year I decided to stop eating carbs and to cut down my sugar intake. I lost 11 pounds in two months doing that but during the course of the year I put it all back plus. This year I decided to try the Nutrisystem diet and was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food as well as the results I achieved. I lost 25 pounds in seven weeks. I feel and look so much better and I am much more comfortable getting around.

I was on but stopped using Nutrisystem about 10 months ago because we were moving to a new home. So now I have the time to get back on it. I wanted the same plan as before but they would not give me the same price that I had paid. I've talked to a few reps and each one said they couldn't match the price I had paid before. The last time I called they were only $6 off from reaching a deal with me and were supposed to check with a manager and get back to me. I had asked to speak to the manager and they refused saying they couldn't do anything different. So this is how they treat former customers? The food was good. I don't know if they offer the same as before as far as the food selection. But the one drawback had always been how expensive they were. That is why I won't pay anything more than what I had paid before. Good luck to everybody trying to get things resolved with them.

I was told that the food I could not eat would be replaced. I talked to a man called Jeff on 2/5/14. As so yet, I have still not received the replacements. They sat on my tea cart until this AM. I went almost a week without the lunches and dinners because they were way too spicy for me to eat. I cannot recommend such a company

A lot of the food was very good, like the white chili, pancakes, chicken breast, lunch pau noodles (not sure of spelling) and bagels. But some was just plain disgusting. I threw out the risotto, and did not like the cinnamon rolls or the turkey and stuffing. If a person sticks to the program and doesn't stray a lot then I believe one can lose weight. I stopped because of the expense and not being totally committed.

The Nutrisystem plan worked well for me. Lost 16 pounds in 2 months. Followed the plan very closely, logged all my food, exercise, etc online or on the phone app. I'm not a huge dessert person so didn't have many snacks.

As others have noted, there is a fee (payback of discount on first box) if you cancel your second shipment and you have to pay for return shipping. Paid about $260 for first month and then canceled second month and had to pay about $90 in fees and shipping. Also took about 30 minutes to get it accomplished. I did not even realize there was a second shipment on the way until I received email that it was sent. It was an impulse buy because I was really excited about losing weight and not being hungry. Unfortunately I was hungry since I eat a lot and then to go on the fast five with it's very limited calories. I guess biggest complaint would be that I wish there was better understanding of what to expect with cancellations, automatic shipping and returns. I was willing to take the $260 investment to give it a shot but was disappointed in paying the extra $90 when it did not work for me.

In my family I have several members that have Celiac disease (gluten intolerance). It would be nice to have a program for them. Because of the restrictions they have a hard time finding weight loss products.

Nutrisystem taught me a lot about portion control and eating 6 small meals a day which I have carried over into a current vegan diet.

The foods that were decent have been discontinued. Most foods were bland and appeared to be high in sodium. Nutrisystem really does not teach you how to eat when you are done with the program.

A few days ago I responded to your email - The five day, weekends off plan, etc. I followed all of the online steps and never got processed. Did that twice. Next day, or two, tried again, same result. Corresponded with a counselor, asked a couple questions and was instructed to continue with my process for purchase. Nothing happened. Need some answers or please remove me from your email lists.

41 lbs lost in 13 weeks. It is a great way to lose weight and I recommend it to my friends and family. I followed it and worked out 6 days a week and the weight came off quickly. I tend to put some weight back on and would buy a months food at a time if I didn't have to get it for at least 2 months to get a pricing special.

This program is a hassle, hassle, hassle! Portions are smaller and calorie counts higher than what you can do on your own at the grocery store. I was starving all the time. Energizing shakes made me shaky. Frozen food arrived thawed and getting it replaced took an argument. Counseling consists of yelling at you if you don't follow their rules, even though it makes no difference. They're really going to tell you that weighing too often will make you gain weight! Or that an extra 10 calories a day of unapproved coffee creamer, when your total daily calories consumed is 1041, is the entire reason you gained weight! I can lose weight on larger portions of Special K, Lean Cuisine, etc., for a total daily calorie count of 1,000, without being hungry, and no one yells at me. :-) Am returning it for a refund. I'll have to see if that is a hassle, too! Go ahead, Nutrisystem, pipe in with how you're sorry to hear about my experience and you'll look into it! Yeah, sure!

I started last week with the Fast Five program and stuck to the plan as described and lost 5.5 lbs in a week. Have now moved onto the program and on day 4. Great program for a weight loss plan. Food is good for a diet plan and you eat tons of other items. I can't even fit my dessert in each day. Would recommend!

I decided to try Nutrisystem after having my third child! The food was not bad but it was not the greatest! Customer service is absolutely awful with this company! Before paying such a great amount, I did a chat with a representative. Honestly they don't go into detail with what you'll receive and such. I ordered and thought I was supposed to get the fast five shakes as well. I never received them with my order so I called customer service to only be on hold for 30 mins and then to be told, "No, your package did not include that. Anything else?" I'm sorry after paying over 200.00 and waiting 30 mins to dismiss me so fast. I did email customer service and they shipped me the fast five.

My experience has been totally positive. If you want a plan that definitely works, and if you can combine that with some discipline and exercise, you will lose weight properly and in a totally healthy fashion. A wide variety of foods will satisfy even some of the fussiest eaters, and the food is quality. Just do not expect to get a feast in a box. You will get good food, and good taste. Portion sizes and calorie counting are already taken care of for you! The snacks in between main meals easily gets me through the day without feeling the pangs of hunger. Many of them are like eating a good dessert and are satisfying. Expect to lose 5-10 in the first two weeks, and at least 2 per week thereafter if you stay strict with the plan. Exercise quickens the weight loss and your own discipline will surely make things happen.

I am nearing the end of my third week on the program, really love the food and have lost weight according to their estimates. I am over all pleased. However, the company advertises the ability to adjust your order. This capability has been unavailable through their website for at least 10 days to my knowledge. They have placed no communication on their site. Meanwhile, customers spend considerable time seeking out this functionality. When I called their 800 number last week, they said it would up and running in a few days.

I highly recommend the Nutrisystem. It worked for me in taking off 7 lbs. My only recommendation is to be more selective when ordering the initial Nutrisystem pkgs. I did not use some of the items that I would have gladly substituted with other Nutrisystem products.

I liked most of the food which I was surprised how good it was for diet food. I have tried to lose on my own several times and without success. The plan was easy to follow I would recommend and would do again if needed. The reason for only 3 stars is price. I didn't like the having to commit to auto delivery to receive the discount. Also when you cancel, you lose the discount if you start over again.

I would highly recommend Nutrisystem. I have gained 10 lbs. over the last couple of years and have had no success losing it. I have lost 7 lbs. over the last 2 weeks. The first week was very difficult for me. I craved sugar all the time. Now I would love a sugary treat, but do not crave it. I love that my menu is planned...makes everything so much easier. I still have 2 more weeks to go and plan on keeping the weight off, using the Nutrisystem foods when I need to. I would also like to add that I am not starving on this diet and look forward to the dessert at the end of the day.

The basic program is good - the food, the education, the framework for diet discipline, etc. Customer service is abysmal and oriented toward revenue maximization. Orders were frequently shipped early or with improper contents. The system to delay shipments or changes orders is often ineffective. Most telling, it is very difficult to find out how to cancel your plan. It can't be done in any way I could easily (after 30 minutes on the web) find; it required a telephone call.

I went on Nutrisystem for five full months. I dropped 49 lbs. More importantly my diabetes which was totally off the charts became within the range of 80/120 within a week after starting the program. Additionally Nutrisystem taught me portion control and how often to eat. I have tried every diet there is on the market. Nutrisystem is the only diet that has ever worked. I fully recommend it not only to lose weight but to conquer diabetes by keeping your sugar count under control.

I was going to start ordering since I got a good result last time I used your service, and I was expecting to get a good deal as a returning customer. I noticed some changes like paying additional $20 to have customize the meals!!! I chatted with your rep yesterday and he said I got no discount as a returning customer but only $20 off on my first order. It really disappointed me and I am not going to use this service again. Returning customers should get better deal to be encouraged to come back again.

Nutrisystem works for me - I like too that you order and the shipment arrives - no meetings, no stores/centers to go to for food, etc, and reminders that a new order is due. All good. However, I had not been advised that there would be an extra fee to customize my order, and I was disappointed that I got many, too many breakfast and lunch bars, rather than other food options. But, food is tasty and I like that a counselor is available to help with program success.

I lost 45 lbs with Nutrisystem in 4 months. The system works fantastic if followed properly and exercise is done regularly. The system teaches you to eat proper portions, to eat throughout the day and to eat the proper foods to fulfill your appetite and remain healthy in the process. I would highly recommend Nutrisystem to anyone; in fact, I already have 2 friends that have jumped on since they have seen my weight loss.

The prepared meals is what I really like. I live alone so didn't have anyone but myself to have to cook for. So just going to the freezer or cupboard made it ideal for me. The first couple of weeks were the hardest but after that I was very determined. It is really what worked for me. I did start to exercise also and forced myself to do so. The low fat content of Nutri-system food allows you to avoid hunger and loss weight at the same time. I lost 30 pounds and plan to lose 20 more. My only complaint would be too many bars as meal replacements. The actual foods are mostly appealing. I plan to order a-la-carte for the next 20 pounds. Thank you Nutri-system.

I didn't realize that you could eat too little and gain weight, but that what I was doing. I was eating only 1 meal a day and it was late at night just before I would go to bed. Nutra Systems got me on a schedule with balanced meals and in less than 3 months I lost 15 lbs. I have stopped at this point due to personal reasons, but do intend on returning later in the year....THANK YOU for getting me on the right track.

My husband and I were on Nutrisystem together which made things much easier in our household. I needed a program that "did the work for me" and not one that I'd have to figure out calories, sodium, fat content, etc. Nutrisystem fit that description. We lost 50 pounds each!! Then 2012 hit. It was a horrible year for our family and having to drive back and forth from Northern Michigan to Southern Michigan numerous times and having to eat on the go just did not do either of us any good. Needless to say, we gained it all back. During the holidays, I sidetracked from the Nutrisystem meals and ate regular holiday food. Thanks to the good "training" on eating the right food in the right amount, I was able to maintain my weight loss! After the holidays, I went back on the program and reached my goal weight. I would recommend the program to anyone. It is easy, good food, and no calculations. Yeah for me!! Ready for spring and summer :)

I was looking to shed about 10-12 lbs thanks to winter bingeing and turning the big 4-0. I decided to try Nutrisystem and am completely satisfied. I lost it in a safe and healthy way. Everything that you should and shouldn't eat on this diet is planned out and very easy to follow. The food is good and yes, I looked forward to dessert the most :) That's right, dessert! The concept is very seductive. Meals planned and measured for a month and sent to the individual. The food however, as should be expected is processed with who knows what preservatives! IN addition everything is was so sweet. While monk sugar is used as claimed it's still a processed sugar. Our bodies rejected it. It made us nauseated and dizzy. I am not sure how their national figures who have loads of money eat this food, but I am pretty sure they have different meals they eat. This is definitely not a healthy way to eat or lose weight. Nothing like fresh foods! Like many of the above reviews state, they are a little shady on their return. I had only had it one day and they were wanting to check if I could cancel my plan! They did cancel it.

I lost 36 lbs, and 35.5 inches on this program. I found it easy, tasty and successful! I recommend this to everyone! Currently there are three of my neighbors on the program. Don't wait, do it now.

Service - phone and delivery were wonderful. Products however were too processed causing gas and constipation. No hunger. But just didn't feel like food was very nutritious.
