In what it says should be the last of the recalls associated with the Takata airbag issues, American Honda Motor Co. recently announced the recall of 1.6 million cars in the U.S.

- Model year 2001-2005 and 2008-2010 Civic GX NGVs
- Model year 2012-2015 Crosstours,
- Model year 2002-2011 CR-Vs
- Model year 2007-2013 Fits
- Model year 2013-2014 Fit Evs
- Model year 2010-2014 Insights
- Model year 2003-2015 Pilots
- Model year 2003-2006 Acura MDXs

What to do
Honda will notify owners, and dealers will replace the passenger frontal air bag inflator, free of charge.
The recall is expected to begin August 12, 2019.
