The seats may have been assembled incorrectly

Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is recalling 27 model year 2020 GLS450s, GLS580s, GLE350s, GLE450s, AMG C63s, and model year 2021 AMG GLE53s.

The seats may have been assembled incorrectly.

Incorrectly assembled seats may not properly restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

What to do

Dealers will inspect and repair the seats -- as necessary -- free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on December 17, 2021.

Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at (800) 367-6372.
