A damaged charging unit may cause a loss of drive power

Hyundai Motor America is recalling 98,878 model year 2022-2024 IONIQ 5s, and model year 2023-2024 IONIQ 6s, Genesis GV60s, Genesis GV70 "Electrifieds," and Genesis GV80 "Electrifieds".

The Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) may become damaged and stop charging the 12-Volt battery, which can result in a loss of drive power.

A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
