Love love love my experience with Safe Ship Moving. The 2 movers that came to my apt were amazing. Alex & Roman were the gentleman. They were professional and quick and thorough and most importantly, made sure my items were moved with care! Very happy. And enjoyed the rest of the experience with the Rushmore Movers as well as Safe Ship. They picked up my items yesterday and will be delivered after the 24th. I’m delighted to write a review for Connor **! What a personable and diligent employee he is of Safe Ship!! Unfortunately for Connor, he had to take over for Alexandra ** when I got stuck in the next spot of the process for claims damage by my mover. I had reached out to Alex for the fifth time and she had moved to the Customer Experience Team for Safe Ship. She told me that she would connect me with another in the Escalations Department. I was blessed to get Connor!! He contacted me the very day that I had spoken to Alex. His schedule was flexible and he let me call him when I returned home from our storage space.
My story was pitiful and took me at that point 30 minutes to relate and Connor waited until I was thoroughly done speaking since other items occurred to me toward the end of the story. The mover was a “bait and switch” operation so I had more than one problem that had to be dealt with. I was overcharged and told I would be refunded when my items were delivered, but I wasn’t. There was damage to window blinds when furniture was moved into the condo in addition to all of the damage from offloading that took place after the owner lied about the timing.
We had given up our guaranteed delivery day which we had paid $673 extra for but when we were told our belongings would be offloaded we changed our schedule for the mover and when our things were loaded the next day, he had that truck offloaded immediately and loaded onto another truck because of his poor planning of equipment! Connor tried repeatedly to write to the owner of the company. The owner was not responding to his emails. He got back to me even though he had not had results. He stoically said he would continue and he did. When he did reach the mover, the mover was steadfast that things had to go through that moving claims company.
In the meantime, I read through all of the fine print that went with this moving claims company. That company prevented saving your work, would not let your input be printed nor copied and pasted. The system disconnected me three times and the only option was to start all over again!! After another 30 days I gave up! I contacted Connor and voiced my frustration again, he kindly listened to me, what a respectful young man he is!! There was no way to recoup the $673 through the claims company and I knew I couldn’t jump through all of their hoops. It was a process designed to get a person to just give up. Connor again tried to reach the owner for me, he really went the extra mile, though this owner doesn’t deserve to be in business because of his ethics!
Connor is deliberately conscientious! He listens, processes, and goes forward with a positive attitude! It is evident in his voice that his wish is to specifically help and make things better in any way that he can! He endeavors to give impeccable service and be pleased at the end of his day that he has done his best for the customer!!

I was at the 11th hour and had a fail on a trailer rental and my vehicle. Fortunately. Safe Ship sent me a phenomenal mover, Southeast Van Lines. Communication was excellent, timelines exact…. All inventory was written down and evaluated with care and precision. I am awaiting my delivery. If it runs as smoothly as the first half, this piece of mind is priceless!

Everyone I’ve spoken with has been knowledgeable and thorough. I received calls before and after each step to ensure everything went smoothly and answer any questions. The vendors this company work with have been amazing and efficient. They were quick, but made sure everything was properly wrapped in moving blankets, padding, and packing paper. They were also very quick getting from Massachusetts to Texas and arrived the day after I did! I did not expect that and was pleasantly surprised.

I had a great experience with Safe Ship Moving Services and Stanford Van Lines. The workers, Mussa and Boris, were very professional, careful, and hardworking. READ THE FINE PRINT. These people hard sell you to sign up and then if things change, even months before your scheduled move, they refuse to refund your deposit. They say they support veterans and their families but my experience says otherwise. Watch yourselves. Very sketchy.

The wife and I were moving from New Orleans LA to Las Vegas NV. When I requested a quote initially, the very charming lady on the phone answered all of my concerns. I asked her my biggest concern, and that was once the moving company picks up our stuff, would they begin directly to our new destination, and the answer was yes. This was misinformation. They picked up our things on February 2nd - today is February 16th and the movers have not arrived. The drive from New Orleans to Las Vegas is a 3-5 day at worse case scenario drive. Just use a U-Haul and haul your own stuff next time.

My Mother passed away and I had her things moved to my house. Pa to FL. This company is a moving broker, so they farm out your shipping items to someone else. The company they chose to move my things was Roys Moving. They lost the top of my deceased Mother's china cabinet. I have the bottom and all the shelves. This piece is huge, no idea how they could have lost it, but they did. And are not willing to compensate me for this item... MOVERS BEWARE. So sad.

Thank you to the entire crew at Safe Ship Moving. They came in clutch in the last minute and were able to pick up the pieces that another company screwed me over on. They were there the following day to pick all my stuff up. The packing crew did such a thorough job making sure everything was safe and secure. Jonathan D did a great job making sure everything was lined up and smooth after pick up. Brian was phenomenal from the beginning, trying to get me to understand how some of these companies work and I did not listen. But I came back a few weeks later, ready to not only listen but utilize the services. Ely was very helpful at getting things set up in a very timely fashion and making sure that I got my things picked up within 18 hours, very last minute. He still got it done for me though. When I needed to find a mover for my move across the country, I saw that Safe Ship Moving had received great reviews online and now I know why. I quickly realized that I was in the best hands possible. Every step of the way, they were there for me, always staying in touch with me throughout the process. I spoke to Justin at first and he quoted me at $3,100 for the move. We went over my items via phone call and I told him everything that was in a box and everything that was not in a box. After that, he sent me on to someone else that was going to take care of picking up. Shane called the night before pick up and we ran through everything again. He let me know that Rigo's Delivery was going to be handling pick up and delivery. Somehow, the cost went up to $4,600. He said it was because I needed more cubicle feet on the truck. Absolutely nothing changed from my inventory conversation with Justin to Shane. Never heard from Shane or Justin again. They pushed me off to Jonathan that sent a message asking me to give them a review.
I waited because I wanted to see how delivery went. Pick up went fine, took about an hour to pack up 600cf and the guys were friendly and fast. Rigo's Delivery kept me updated on what day and time they'd deliver. They called me the day before and let me know they'd deliver everything at 11am the next day. The two guys that delivered everything were very nice. Along the trip one of metal shelving stands broke and they just gave me the pieces and told me it fell apart when they were unloading things. Didn't mention filing a claim for it. It's not even a year old and it's always been indoors.
No rust on it or anything but they broke it. Then I was missing large items. They lost my standing desk and an "egg" chair (or papasan chair). They called the original truck driver to find if it was still back in Houston but received no answer so they gave me another person to call and follow up with. Right now, I've been following up with them but they can't get ahold of the original truck driver. No word from Safe Ship, no follow ups. Nothing. Just an extra $1,500 charge the night before pick up and a lot of pushing you around to the next coworker. Have fun!

This company uses hard-sell tactics to try and trick you into signing a deal before you can research other movers. Then they do not leave you alone. I told them 3 days ago I had gone with a different company and requested deletion of my information. Instead they have called me 5x per day every day. I cannot wait for them to go bankrupt; the aggression behind their salespeople suggests that it's not very long until they do.

No one likes to move, but when you have such a professional team to work with it makes the whole thing so much better truth, and transparent, pricing impeccable, professionalism, and attention to detail. My initial impressions of this company were positive, but every subsequent interaction became more and more disrespectful and unethical. To summarize everything below: this company and their carrier partners are not to be trusted. It is advised not to hire them, but if you do please understand the risks outlined below.
First red flag: Safe Ship’s representative texts me asking to call and confirm I don’t need to ship any vehicle. I call as requested, and barely got the sentence “I don’t need to ship my car” out before the representative hung up on me. My initial impression of this company were inaccurate. They will be friendly and considerate up to the point that they can make a sale, after which you become a waste of their time.
Second red flag: Under their process they request a “quality assurance” review a few days prior to pickup to – as they describe – ensure everything is accounted for. Between the initial intake and this review the amount of items I needed to give to the movers went down as I decided to keep more of it with myself. Despite the volume of goods going down, somehow after this review my rate and expected payments went up by about 20%. This was very concerning, but as I could not change my moving schedule and find a last minute replacement company I accepted. Considering what came next this was a terrible mistake.
Major Third red flag: The most egregious of all was the conduct of their carrier partner. Upon delivery 8 out of 11 pieces of furniture came damaged. Scratched wood, broken cabinet legs, missing parts, shattered glass. Worst of all however was 3 entire boxes never arrived. They simply vanished, as after repeated calls over 2 months to the carrier and Safe Ship they claim they can’t find them anywhere.
From the outset of this issue the carrier repeated the same recommendation to file a claim, knowing that this claim would compensate me for a fraction of the value of my possessions and absolve them of any negligence or other wrongdoing. So despite being paid in full the job was never completed, my possessions disappeared, and both Safe Ship and the carrier show no concern for the severity of the issue. To my knowledge Safe Ship continues to work with this carrier and is comfortable with such a level of negligence from its business partners.

Disorganized, misleading, and expensive. Safe Ship Moving turned a small, simple move into a nightmare. Pickup involved multiple undisclosed subcontractors (different company names on the truck and crew). My shipment was estimated at 350 cf, when it was closer to 9 cf, and one agent even claimed it needed 400 cf after reviewing photos — completely absurd. Delivery missed the 0–7 day window and was rescheduled at least five times, with same-day ETA changes from 2 PM → 5 PM → 7 PM. Each missed delivery cost me real money paying people to be on-site — all documented. Way too many agents, drivers, contracts, and phone calls. No accountability, poor communication, and a lot of stress while dealing with probate matters. I would not use them again.

This started as a great experience. Booking was an easy process and the price was reasonable. Pickup was perfect and the driver was very helpful. We did have a hiccup with the delivery time, they were supposed to be 7-12 days but said they would deliver in 4 days. We needed to bump that time to 7 days which they said was easy enough to do, that they had another carrier they could send it on. Day 7 comes and our delivery driver arrived at 6pm.
Before he would unload, which was a rush situation because we had to be out of the storage facility before 7pm, he asked for payment. All of a sudden our bill was 50% more than it was supposed to be. No one ever said the bill would be different, but what choice do you have but to pay it when you are backed into a corner. I wondered why they were SO pushy about giving them a review at pickup and not one call after delivery. Also, they wouldn’t give me any final copies that I signed, other than the tally sheet.

By far the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. This company partners with other moving companies who do not communicate, charge hidden bogus fees, and has zero accountability. You will not be working with Safe Ship Movers, you will be working with 1, 2 or maybe even 3 other moving companies who will all handle your stuff and switch trucks without warning. They will also charge you 500$ for switching trucks and companies without warning.
It took them 10 days to move my stuff from Texas to California. I was not updated on the whereabouts of my shipment once. I called 3 times and the most they would say is, they will let you know when it is 24 hours away. 2 hours after one of the times I was given this canned answer, a mover called and said they were 2 hours away. I was in the middle of my first day of work and got no 24 hour notice. Upon arrival they still did not introduce themselves. I start to walk them to the front door of my apartment and when I stop to put in a door stop, the mover barked at me yelling ‘LETS GO!.' His attitude was never better than hostile. We get to my room and he asks for a pen. I explain everything I own is in his truck. He throws his hands in the air frustrated and starts to look around my apartment for a pen!
He explains he has to charge me 500$ extra because they had to switch trucks because the original truck that picked up was too big to fit on the 4 lane road with huge shoulders that has thick food trucks parked along side it. This is a SCAM! They picked up my stuff on a tiny private road that fits 1 car. They can have the ability to drop off on a thick road with huge shoulders. I call the broker to dispute this charge. While I’m on the phone with the broker, the mover is harassing me, posturing aggressively, threatening to take my stuff away and raising his voice.
Meanwhile he has left his truck open and unattended in the middle of a large city with many homeless people. His helper is dropping and banging my furniture in the hallways and breaking many things, some very valuable and well packed antique pieces. Mike the mover was the sales person who failed at giving me a good experience. Paul and Natalie played a small part in not helping as well. I am filing claims and advising no one use this company.

My family moved out of state in 2024 and are now moving back to our previous state this summer. I contacted a moving company for an estimate after finding them online. (I thought I was calling a local company out of Manchester, NH, but they were actually based out of Boca Raton.) They called me back right away and were extremely helpful and friendly and had me go through each room of my home and tell them the contents so that they could come up with an estimate. The estimate seemed high and I told them so. I was working with Conor and he put me on hold while he spoke to someone and was able to knock off close to $4,000.
I still wanted to speak with my husband before signing a contract, but was told that the price wouldn't last if he left his screen. It was a high pressure sales situation and I stated again that I needed to verify with my husband. I was assured that I could sign the contract and had 72 hours to cancel if I chose to, but that they wouldn't be able to get me that price again if I didn't sign.
I should have followed my instincts since I was feeling extremely pressured, instead I signed the moving contract. Afterward it wasn't sitting well with me how high the deposit for the move was and how I was given no time to decide prior to the price changing. I contacted the moving company I had used in my former city and they sent me a copy of my contract from less than two years ago- the price from Safe Ship was more than twice as much as it had been less than two years ago. My former company advised me that I was likely working with a broker company and that there were many extra fees with that. I decided I wanted to cancel the contract. I realize prices have likely gone up, but I wanted to get some more estimates.
When I texted Conor (who had given me his number and also told me to pass it on to my husband if he had any questions) he called me back. Conor raised his voice at me and accused me of wasting his and someone else's time. I was shocked because he had been so kind on the phone. I defended myself stating that he had pressured me and that I called for an estimate and surely not everyone who goes through the process goes with their company. He proceeded to tell me how much money his company makes, how great their reviews are, how I should call Mayflower and every other company and I'll see he was giving me the best price. He and I had been speaking so freely earlier and were talking about how stressful moving is, etc. I was floored when I was spoken to so poorly.
As of right now I am still waiting for verification that my contract has been canceled. I have contacted my credit card company and have been advised that at this point it is only a hold on my account. Moving is time consuming and stressful, and I would advise people to not waste their time getting a "free estimate" when you will be pressured and guilted to sign. You will also be attacked for canceling even though you have every right within the 72 hour window. I asked for a cancelation within an hour.

Over 1 month and I still do NOT have my stuff! I left Pryor Oklahoma Dec 29th 2025, Safe Ship picked up my stuff and my Wife and I DROVE to NewPort New Hampshire, and it took us about 3 days to get here. Today is Jan 29th 2026 and I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY BELONGING! Not only that, they doubled the price of the initial quote and expect us to PAY MORE when they finally get here! We've already paid close to 4k and they want ANOTHER 1000 when they finally do get here! This COMPANY IS A CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE and should be SHUT DOWN! They claim it's VETERAN OWNED? I'm a Disabled VET and will make sure the Veterans Administration knows about how awful this Company is! 1 month!! I still don't have my stuff! Watch the fine print, they give themselves almost 2 months to deliver it! Terrible company!

Far and away a horrible experience. Safe Ship sub contracts out the moving and the movers damaged quite a bit of my belongings. I have broken legs on furniture, they dragged wardrobe boxes through snow until they disintegrated on the bottom and my wife's dresses and my suits are ruined, broken frames and lamps as well. When I called Noah ** and Tim ** back to express how I felt neither one would put on a pair of pants and return my call. I passed to a customer service rep that I could not understand. I was then passed onto the sub-contracted mover who I'm presently working with. These people take your money, damage property and take zero responsibility when they destroy family heirlooms.

Disgustingly unprofessional, very untrustworthy, profound liars, and disrespectful to Veterans and Service members. They claim to be veterans owned, trust worthy and reliable. That... They're not. Per how they operate and their dealings, they bring disgrace, taint, and bring dishonor to Veterans and Service members. My experience with this company (as a Veteran and Retired Service member) was utterly appalling, disgustingly dishonoring, and major taint to Veterans everywhere. They make promise, say, "We got you, we'll take care of our Veteran, no worries." But that immediately changes once you pay and sign the initial BOL. There's automatic customer disregard, rudeness to the point their representatives Kyle ** and others would laugh at ya on the phone when you remind them of what was initially discussed and promised prior to you signing the initial BOL and paying them.
Their dealings are definitely unlawful, dishonest, inconsistent with their own policies, and centered on defrauding the customer of his/her money without a single care if you receive their services or not. Yeah once they get your money the story changes to where you are looking at additional thousands increase during what they call the QA phone days prior to the date you notified them of pick up, which is not guaranteed will happen on the date you gave them. Then there the fact that they charge you a significant amount per each foot step and stair from your place to the truck. There's also the unknown outrageous charges you'll face when the 3rd party movers they send to you eventually arrive, at which point you are stuck because they won't unload your stuff untill you pay them whatever the outrageous increased price the bill has come to. This is how they defraud you:
1. Make promises, state your stuff will be picked up and delivered (same day when you specify so).
2. Rush you to give them a list item that they incorrectly put down on the BOL that they Rush you to sign. The reps put so much emphasis on pushing you to sign the BOL stating that it's no problem if things change, you'll get a chance to update it while rushing you to just sign the BOL.
3. Call you after 72 hrs to set up what they call a Quality Assurance call. This is where they hit you with full unpleasantness, rudeness, and even laugh at ya (as was my case with Kyle **), when you tell them that what the QA person is telling you is not what was discussed and agreed upon, prior to you signing the BOL and paying half the initial quote. This leads to an outrageous increase on your bill due to the QA person making the corrections on a new BOL from items you told them but they conveniently listed wrong on your initial BOL. Be advised that at this point it is past their 72 hrs refund timeframe and at this point you're now looking at least thousand or more increase on your BOL.
4. They insist that you don't have to resign your BOL after it's been altered by the changes the QA rep made which resulted in the increased thousand or more from the initial BOL price. This is illegal by law, a BOL signed by the shipper (you) and the moving company and be with the movers at all times. So with them insisting you don't sign the altered initial BOL, that is a deceitful business practice questionable under the law.
5. By the time you get to the QA phone call, it is past the time to cancel your dealings with them and request for your refund. Which by the way their cancellation and refund policy clearly states, "no refund 72 hrs after signing the BOL." It doesn't read or state, "no refund 72 hrs after signing the initial BOL." Hence the reason why they insist that you don't need to sign the BOL after they've made changes that conveniently increased the amount you'll need to pay but without your signature. Which would be an unlawful BOL that will travel with the driver until they get to you and hit you with whatever additional charges and you are put in a position where you have no choice but to pay, and sign the BOL before they load your things on the truck.
6. Their BOL reads and states the the quoted price is binding and they're not responsible for any additional charges by the 3rd party (i.e. whatever crappy moving company the send that will actually pick up and move your things). Note...they quoted my fellow Veteran a $1300 and when the actual movers showed up the showed him a BOL that had $3500 and then also refused to load his stuff because they indicated that the price didn't account for the distance and steps from his place to the truck and that cost him an additional $1200. So he ended up paying a $4700+taxes bill from a quoted and agreed upon $1300.
7. In my situation I tried to give them a benefit of a doubt but instead, they confirmed every bit of what people are saying about them. They're fraudulent, untrustworthy, disgustingly unprofessional, deceitful, and mischievous company that use the disguise of a Veteran owned company to draw you in when in fact they don't give a damn about their fellow Americans to include Veterans or Service members. They refused to pay me back and defrauded me (a Veteran and Retired Service Member) out of my deposit. DO NOT ever use these disgusting frauds. You are better off dealing with a moving company directly, not one that hires 3rd party to do so while making promises they know they do not plan on making happen for you; because it don't matter, once you sign the BOL they'll reach out to you after 72 hrs because they don't plan on refunding your deposit.
8. At least dealing directly with a moving company, you have the opportunity to ensure signing a BOL with a final, binding, and agreed on price. The also come onsite and do the inventory prior to providing you a quote. If I had the option Safe Ship would be rated NEGATIVE 10 STARS.

I have only great things to say about the whole process starting with Safe Ship. Timothy took my order. He knew his stuff and was very professional. We ran through a list of items asking if I was taking or staying. The quote given was off of the list. Safe Bound contacted me for the actual move. Three workers came and boxed items and packed the truck. It took three of them two hours to pack and load the truck. They were very efficient.
My first date for delivery was January 9th. I received a call with a delivery window for the following week. Ariel, the driver, kept in touch as day and time approached. He took all needed precautions to unload our stuff by himself. I was amazed. It took three to load and one to unload. We have stairs here which they didn’t have to deal with in FL. Ariel worked hard and was very concerned that he put the boxes in the right room. I’ve never had such customer satisfaction as with the two companies. I will definitely use them for my next move.

Please let this accurate and most recent review serve as the decision to use this hell of a so-called business. First, they are a broker, which they don’t tell you. Please contact moving companies directly. YOU DON'T NEED TO PAY THESE PEOPLE. They did not take my itemized list correctly, therefore when the actual movers showed up, my price changed dramatically. Since my things were all packed and I was ready to go, it left me no choice. Now that was only particular to my situation.
Otherwise, I would have cancelled there on the spot. Now the moving company, (this first one, as things are transferred) were absolutely great. They arrived on time, wrapped my things securely and moved them out in a timely fashion. Although they lied to me about my delivery date. (ALL MOVING RELOCATION LLC, BASED IN FORT LAUDERDALE, FL 1-866-800-6986). And after several calls to them and constant lying, I put this call on three way so that safe shippers could hear the lies as well. And the reception manager Jarvis, as he told me, was shocked, and you already know I did not give a damn! You are going to listen to these lies as well. And of course, he took no more calls from me, after repeatedly being told he was in a meeting, or busy. And this was day 9. I paid for standard shipping of 0-10 days. I was constantly told the driver would contact me.
They had the nerve to give me the driver's number, I told her "NO that’s your job, you contact the driver and then get back to me", of course, that never happened. Sooooo on day 11, the driver finally contacted me and told me he would be here the next day, which would be day 11. When he was one hour out, he phoned and of course, I was ready to receive my belongings, and I just told him I have been waiting and I am here ready to receive my goods. Now, when he arrived, very professionally might I add, I got my things and immediately start writing this review.
It was a totally different moving company and people, the driver had to phone and wait for the guys who would actually do the moving, about ten minutes. They moved everything carefully and put my things in their proper place. Unfortunately, I don’t know the name of this company. I must say nothing was broken or mishandled, thankfully. Because they would not have gotten a dime, and I was prepared for all the smoke, if you know what I mean.
So long story short, AVOID SAFE SHIP MOVING SERVICES, THEY ARE THE REAL SCAM. I hope you take the time to read this long review, as I want no one else to go through this. Contact long-distance carriers directly. By the way, I moved from Florida to Texas. I drove in 12 hours and waited 12 days for my belongings. The customer service reps Shawn and Chris from Safe Ship had the nerve to try and talk about PODS, how dare them, I have used PODS and the service is 100 times better. At least I knew where my belongings were at all times, and received constant updates. Will definitely only use PODS again.

Alexandra B truly saved my experience with moving from Colorado to Washington D.C. The company (Loadrans llc) that was moving my items was not communicating with me at all, they were past the date range I was quoted, and tried to overcharge me several times after I signed off what I was quoted (tried to charge me an “elevator use” fee for the “work it takes to push the button and to get in the elevator” - this is an example of one). I was regretting ever using a moving company until Alexandra took over my case. She was one of the only people that genuinely listened to my concerns, she called and communicated with me everyday she was in office with an update - I was promised updates several times for various people and Alexandra was the ONLY one who stuck to her word.
Trusting strangers to move your personal items is a scary process and when your items come weeks later than expected, there is a lot of uncertainty. Alexandra made sure I was being communicated with constantly - and was communicating with the movers regularly as well, she addressed all my concerns and she made sure that I wasn’t being taken advantage of financially by the movers by making sure that their behavior was documented. She made this process seamless in the end. Alexandra was honest and Angel and I wish everyone at Safe Ship was like her - she’s truly amazing!!

I contacted them to get a quote, then found out they were outside of my price range. Told them I would call back in February, and I was called back by multiple contractors despite my repeatedly asking them to take me off their lists. I even left a voicemail asking them to stop harassing me. When they kept calling, I would answer with, "Please take me off your list," to now just "take me off your list." They have not done so yet. At first, I just thought it was the right hand not telling the left hand anything. But it just seems like one of those scummy services that hire desperate people to harass you until you're broken down. I'm now just shipping things through the mail out of spite and would encourage others to rally their friends to do the same. Don't give in to a phone terrorist who won't take no for an answer. This is worse than those call centers that try to sell insurance.

I submitted a 5 star review for this emergency moving company broker, but apparently it did not go through. My initial representative was amazing! Professional, courteous and polite. He made a horrible situation tolerable by being so amicable. The moving company was spectacular! My issues started Monday (1/19), the day after my move on Sunday (1/18). The customer service calls/texts from Safe Ship Moving started Monday (1/19) morning regarding the service I received. I was unable to talk and the rep stated it would only take a few minutes. I eventually interrupted him stating I’m on my way to visit a doctor regarding “a serious illness” and said I would try and call him back. He sounded sincerely apologetic. I hope there is recording of this conversation.
The calls/texts continued throughout Monday and Tuesday. For context, I moved my mother into assisted living Sun (1/18) then had “serious illness” appts on both Monday (1/19) and Tues (1/20). My focus was not on filing out surveys less than 24 hrs after said move. The last straw was a representative who contacted me on Tuesday (1/20), again while waiting in the doctor’s office. I had already filled out both surveys sent to me via text as requested. He responded back in all caps which is usually indicative of yelling. I had an outstanding relationship with my first contact in your company. I will be contacting him regarding my concerns.
I am not using names as this may be normal practice expectations for your company, so to blame the employees would not be fair. You must have documentation of who contacted me via phone/text. If not, I do. Again, let me reiterate that I gave you a 5 star review, but after the harassment by your customer service representatives attempting to obtain a survey less than 24 hours after the move, it was the reason I dropped your company to a 3 star review. I would still recommend this moving company if they facilitate changes to their customer service tactics post move. Thank you.

Had a last second move come up. Wanted to use this company since it is a veteran owned company. Talked to a staff member for over an hour to get this set up with dimensions of items to be shipped and received a quote. Got several phone calls that evening and that day to confirm and ensure that everything was good to go. One phone call I received was saying that I didn't have enough space on the truck and raised my quote up almost another 1400.00. Told me to cancel the order or take it 'cause the representative the day prior gave me the wrong information.
This was a total bait and switch especially knowing this was a last-minute request. Asked the individual if I don't use the space do I get the space credited back to me which I was told definitely not. It doesn't work that way. I expressed I wanted to use my original space quoted, and we would go from there. I would not recommend using this company and I hope the owner or owners realize what is going on here. If this a veteran owned company, I would hope they would use the core values and teach them to the employees. Really feel I was just a sale not a customer to a professional company selling a service. They also waited till I couldn't swap moving companies to let me know this information. I haven't even made it to the move yet and hope that experience is better since I can't switch carriers.

Premiere Moving and Storage was excellent! I would prefer to deal with them directly vs going through Safe Ship as the brokerage. As I was not happy with their lack of transparency and some other issues. Premier came in and got the job done in record time. They were efficient and friendly. I would recommend them.

Worst moving company I’ve ever used. The quote doesn’t match what you pay. I wouldn't Recommend anyone to wage their money with the company. It’s a rip off and the third party was supposed to deliver my stuff. They changed the pricing and didn’t give any updates. They definitely just want your money. They honored the time that they said that they would arrive... They handled my furniture with great care and secured it with multiple blankets to prevent damage... They sent out an adequate amount of laborers so that I didn't have to assist with anything... They even broke my bedroom set down along with dismantling my mirror from the dresser... They broke down every table and detached the legs so that they wouldn't get damaged or loosened... They secured my glass lamps and glass tables to secure that the glass wouldn't break or crack or shatter... I would use them again on my next move and would definitely recommend their services to anyone in the market to move... I'm very satisfied with the services that were provided...

I’m literally putting a 2 star rating so hopefully they can’t pay to remove it like one stars. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Let me repeat DO NOT! DO NOT! DO NOT! We have been lied to since the first phone call. Gavin told us that our stuff would be loaded on one truck and that same truck would be delivering our stuff. We moved from California to Ohio. Was charged over 18k and from day 1 of the move has been HORRIBLE. They showed up in a small box truck loaded that truck and most of the guys didn’t understand English and they would ask us this one this one? And we would tell them yes or no.
They took a ton of stuff that wasn’t supposed to go and left a bunch of stuff that was supposed to go because they filled both box trucks already. Well that’s not my fault. You guys were all over the place taking stuff that wasn’t speed to go. Mind you we had everything packed, labeled and even QR codes labeled. We had everything sorted so it was nice and easy. They left, came back with another box truck. I asked them. Are you delivering our stuff in 2 trucks? They said no, they took our stuff to a warehouse and unloaded it there and from there it will be loaded into a 53’ truck and brought to us. I told him no, that’s not what they told us. We made it very clear when we decided to use this company that we DO NOT want our stuff moved from different trucks because that’s more of a chance our things can be broken. 😡
Ok so two weeks later we have no date that for our stuff to be delivered. Yet another lie. They told us 7-21 days from the date they picked it up. Now they are saying the first date starts from the first day we say it can be delivered. We have been sleeping on air mattresses for 2 weeks. They say our stuff has not left California still. I’m super worried that we are going to have lots of things missing, broken or may not even show up at all. I will leave another review once we do get our stuff and unpack and let you all know if it’s all there, if anything is broken and how long it actually takes to get it. Also I’m not a Karen. But I truly feel like my voice needs to be heard to warn people about this awful company.

Do not use! I never write reviews and taking the time so other people are not inconvenience or scammed! They made a huge deal out of me wanting to cancel my move with them. They were pushy, almost threatening and not ethical in their practices. Did not mention $165 convenience fee for using credit card, overpriced service overall and they are only brokers not actual movers so you are paying extra for them to outsource the job. Beware and stay away!

BBB Review: I highly recommend this company. My brother, who lives in another state and is handicapped, called me to arrange his move. I was so relieved when I called Safe Ship Movers, they basically handled everything which took a lot of stress from me. They kept me informed every step of the way. Even after the move (they didn’t forget us), Jonathan Deatherage called to find out if the movers completed everything they were supposed to do and to inform us that we have up to 90 days if anything was damaged. If you want a moving company that makes your life stress free and so professional and kind, call them, you won’t be dissatisfied.

Horrible experience and company that does the classic bait and switch on clients. I submitted a quote request a month before our move where the salesperson went through our inventory and originally quoted over $11,000. When I said that was more than I was willing to pay he immediately came down to $9,000. I told him this was still too much and I was looking to pay around $4,000. He said they couldn’t do that, but he could come down to $6,000 because they had a truck that was going to be dropping a load off in my area which would save money. I declined and later sent an email stating if they couldn’t do it for $4,750 I would hire them. They did and I thought everything was good until they called 3 days before the move to do the final inventory list. We had gotten rid of a lot of big items from the original list, so we were expecting the cost to go down.
After going through the final list they came back and quoted me $11,500 for the move. I asked how that was possible, and he said my inventory list was three times larger now. The original salesperson low-balls the list and bid to get your business, and then they raise the price back up to what they originally want hoping you’ll have to take it because it’s days before the move. After speaking to a manager, I finally got a refund but the experience was horrible. The company doesn’t care about their clients.

In short, this is complete scam, do not put ANY money down! On 1/9/26 I requested a quote and this is when two things happened. 1) After I told them I need to think about the quote, they were pushing too hard for me to put 1/3 of the bill down (this is not usual practice for movers) 2) They asked if my employer was paying for the move (so they could raise the price). Here is the worst of it, the following day (a Saturday) they called my phone 3 times back to back to push me again to the 1/3 of the bill down. At this point I told them this is wildly unprofessional and never to contact me again. P.S. If you still don't believe me, check their BBB profile. It's rampant with customer complaints!

I have not had my furniture moved yet but was called today, 4 days before the move and too late to get my 1100.00 deposit back to be told that after all the measurements of your furniture we will be adding an additional 975.00. I had no choice but to pay it but am extremely upset. I gave an exact description of what I was moving, no boxes just furniture but to wait until 4 days before the move to say your furniture needs more space in the truck than we estimated and you need to pay 975.00 more and no you will not get your 1100.00 deposit back if you have a problem with that. Beware of this company. They will rip you off.

I really appreciate the work the guys did. The team was great and they were all really nice and polite. They worked very quickly and made sure all my items were packed and were gentle with moving the household goods. They were very good with communication and explaining answers for any questions that I had. If I move again I will definitely look into using this company again. I highly recommend. Would give 0 stars if I could. Booked a Houston to Denver move that is not even over yet, paid $3800 and am being told I will owe even more on drop off. The salesperson I booked with, Lawrence, clearly said whatever he could to get me to book. I specifically asked about shuttle service fees, that I had gotten in quotes from other companies, if an 18-wheeler cannot approach my apartment that is surrounded by one-ways, and Lawrence clearly stated "We use U-Haul size trucks so that won't be an issue." I am dumb for believing him but I have never done a long distance move before and didn't know any better. He stated that my drop-off window was 3-10 days, but upon pickup I would be given a smaller window. That was also a lie.
After I paid my deposit and missed the 72 hr refund window, literally the day after this window ended, someone from "Quality Assurance" called to go over my packing list and quote again. They informed me that I would be on the hook a $450 shuttle fee and no I cannot cancel without losing my deposit. I suspect that they wait until the day after your refund window ends to do this "Quality" call to ensure that you're stuck with them now.
I have been going back and forth with customer service and the "escalations department" and the only "solution" they have offered to avoid that $450 fee is to get my own truck and meet the delivery people in a parking lot somewhere, where they can transfer my stuff to my truck and I can take my stuff to a 7th floor apartment by myself. I paid them $3800 already and their only solution is for me to do a third of the manual labor myself. Do not book with this company, the salespeople will clearly say whatever it takes to get their commission.

Original: Do not use this group. They do not honor the price they quote on the first call. As the process goes along, they will call and increase the price. By the time everything was said and done, they charge over $1,000 more than they quoted. Secondly, the packing groups they connect you with are scammers. We were scammed out of $1,000 after the group was hacked and they took no responsibility. I cannot warn people enough to avoid this company.

We’ve always been hesitant to use moving companies because of horror stories about scams, hidden fees, and honestly just trusting strangers with our entire lives packed into one truck. Because of that, we’ve always moved ourselves with a U-Haul. That changed when we got an accurate quote from Elizabeth at Safe Ship Moving. The price was nearly the same as moving ourselves, and after speaking with her, we felt confident enough to take the leap.. and I’m SO glad we did.
Elizabeth was incredibly kind and patient, helping us accurately count our items and answering every question I had. She could tell I was nervous and took the time to reassure me that Safe Ship is legitimate and trustworthy. From start to finish, the entire moving process was a breeze and far easier than packing and driving a long haul U-Haul ourselves.
Now let me talk about the movers.. Andrei and Ellis.. because they were AMAZING. These guys were absolute machines. They wrapped and protected our belongings better than we ever could have, carried heavy furniture and boxes up and down two flights of stairs at over 6,000 feet altitude, never once complained, and never took a break. On top of that, they were incredibly friendly, professional, and communicative. They treated our belongings like they were their own, and after meeting them, I immediately knew we had made the right choice.
And the great experience didn’t stop there. Luis ** and Jake ** followed up with us, answered all of our questions, and were incredibly helpful throughout the process. We even had a delivery date hiccup on our end, and they accommodated our delayed delivery without issue, making sure everything stayed on track. During what could have been a very stressful week, they gave me total peace of mind.
As a young working mom, my plate is always full and my brain is constantly running a mile a minute. Safe Ship truly took the stress and burden of moving off my shoulders. You can tell this company has an amazing, family oriented team of real people who genuinely care about their customers. My experience is that the sales people lowball the quote in order to get your business. This happened to me. The salesperson quoted me around $5000 for the move. I then got rid of about half my stuff and the final quote was $8000. When I asked how that was possible I wasn’t provided a good answer. The salesperson also led me to believe that I would likely get my things within two weeks. He did say that he couldn’t guarantee it but he stated at several times that I would probably get my items in two weeks. It’s been over three weeks and I still don’t have my stuff.
The moving company they connected me with also misled me. First of all, I got no information of what items they would not take in their truck. The people that came to pack my things were very difficult to communicate with because English was not their primary language. Unbeknownst to me, my belongings sat in a warehouse for over a week before they were loaded on a truck. The moving company then told me that I would be getting my things on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Yet by Sunday night I had not heard from the driver. So it’s been over three weeks and I don’t know where my stuff is or when I’m going to get it.

This business went through an inventory of all my items to be moved with exact measurements. They gave me a price and I paid it. They said they would be moving my items themselves and the items would not be taken out of the truck and reloaded into a different truck. Some ** guys showed up to my house with a different company name and quoted a higher price because they had picked up the contract from Safe Ship. They wanted another $2500. I didn't have a choice at that point so I paid. They said there would be insurance on all items.
4 weeks later they delivered my furniture with a lot of it missing and broken. The delivery guy demanded $1500 or he was not going to unload. He broke my washer, mirrors, terrarium, dishes, dryer. He gave me boxes that weren't mine and when I told him, he said, "Oh well they're yours now." When I got the paperwork to file a claim for the hundreds of dollars in damage, they said they will only pay 60 cents per pound of damage and only what they packed themselves. So for hundreds in damage, they will only pay a few dollars. Total they charged me over $7500 when the original quote was $2500.

Called to get a quick quote. Spent 30 min in the phone where they tried 4 times to get me to put a deposit down on a quote after I repeatedly told them I wasn’t ready to schedule yet and that I needed to talk to my spouse first. They then moved me to the Manager who ended up saying “so you wouldn’t book this right now if I said the whole cost was $100?” I said no, I need to confirm with my spouse. He hung up on me right after that. They constantly talk about being a veteran company and how they like to help military. I told him from the beginning my spouse and I are military and they kept trying to use that as a selling technique when I just needed a rough quote. If you’re not ready to book right away be prepared to waste time and get treated badly.

I'll be perfectly honest: I almost didn't stick with Safe Ship. A day or so after I signed the contract, I got cold feet. So, I called the company intent on cancelling. After an hour and a half on the phone, Joel and Grover presented a very compelling case and convinced me to give it a little more time and consideration. They even extended the cancellation window as a goodwill gesture. I decided to give them my business. But it came with the warning that any "bait and switch," "gotcha," "red flags," or other potential negatives would be met with consequences the likes of which their company had probably never experienced. They were confident that I would end up being a very satisfied customer. I wasn't sure if it was confidence or stupidity on their part, but I admired the "can do" attitude.
The vehicle transport went off without a hitch. Granted, the pick up was delayed, but I didn't mind because I wasn't in a hurry. I told the company contracted by Safe Ship that it was perfectly fine if the car arrived at its destination late. Much to my surprise, even though it was picked up two days late, the car still arrived at its destination AHEAD OF SCHEDULE!
The household move itself was ... okay. Pickup was a breeze. The crew was punctual, professional, meticulous, and friendly. They even showed up a day ahead of schedule. My box count ended up slightly higher than the estimate so I was charged a few hundred dollars more -- no big deal. But before I was charged, Safe Ship called and told me that before I'd be on the hook to pay even one more dime, they would need video and photographic proof of the overage. I found that level of integrity impressive. Don't get me wrong, I didn't mind paying the extra. It was just incredibly impressive that Safe Ship wanted to make certain everything was legit before I made the payment. Drop off wasn't so good. Mistakes were made and lessons were learned.
That said, however, Safe Ship had my back and my interests at heart. From the moment I expressed even the slightest frustration, an entire team at Safe Ship got to work assessing the situation, mediating between me and the moving company, and keeping my best interests at the forefront of every step they took. These people went to bat for me. They dotted every I and crossed every T until I was completely satisfied with the outcome.
Quite frankly, I've never had an experience quite like the one I had with Safe Ship. They exceeded my expectations. They worked tirelessly to ensure my complete satisfaction, their communication was positively remarkable, their candor was refreshing. There simply isn't enough praise that can be heaped on to this company. I don't plan to move again anytime soon, but if I did, I would go with Safe Ship again. They not only earned my business, they earned my trust and my respect. That's not easy.
Joel and Grover took a gamble when they asked me to reconsider cancelling with Safe Ship. Clearly, they knew they could please even the most difficult customer -- not just please -- exceed my expectations. I'm incredibly grateful to them and to the entire Safe Ship company for going above and beyond on my behalf. There's only one word to sum up the experience and that's, "wow." DO NOT HESITATE go with Safe Ship!

We moved from Pennsylvania to Ohio and the price quoted almost doubled by the time the move was over. They pressured me when I initially called and made promises they didn't keep. They sent a crew with a truck that was too small and were unable to get everything on their truck with no solution. We had to rent a U-Haul truck and pack the rest of our things and move them ourselves at an additional cost. They took 14 hour to pack our house and when they finally arrived at the new house another 10 hours to unload. I was extremely overcharged for the worst service I have ever received. When contacting the company they took no responsibility and offered no compensation. This was the worst experience of my entire life and they should be put out of business. They are total scammed and should be prosecuted. No one should ever use these people. They are criminals as far as I'm concerned!

Veniamin ** and his team were fantastic and extremely hard working gentleman. They were very thorough and walked the house with us to make sure we did not miss anything for the move. Truly appreciate these guys and the fact they were upbeat, positive, and courteous was very reassuring for our move - which everyone knows that moving is very stressful. Rushmore Van Lines INC. showed up and got right to work after going through the house and verifying what were moving versus what was staying. They were able to fix a problems that came up because they came prepared with everything needed.

They will milk you for every cent you have, the quote reels you in and sounds nice then it flips a 180 and you end up paying triple when all is said and done, go directly through a moving company. Do not use this broker.

I have moved cross country with Interstate movers prior and my move was good but a couple things broken. Safe ship got good reviews so I decided to go with them instead for my move from South Carolina to Denver. Huge mistake. The actual movers were nice but literally threw my stuff around and when it came time to move in, boxes were all different directions despite arrows. My furniture is dinged and scrapped and some other items broken but nothing bad enough to claim so I have to just live with it. The real awful part is the company itself and their customer service. My movers were 5 hours late getting to my location. No one texted or called to check in and no one from the company could tell me anything. I had a two week delivery window and when it started to get close to the end I contacted them. I kept being told my items “were in transit” and a driver would get back to me.
Three days later I was annoying enough that Jonathan called me. He essentially gas lighted me, changing his story saying certain days didn’t count as deliverable days (even though I specifically asked the question and wrote it down prior to the move) and then changing to say that the countdown was actually “5 days after the day I stated was first deliverable”. He ended the conversation saying that I was going to get my stuff eventually and I should just be happy I was getting it at all (meanwhile I’ve been sleeping on the floor for 3 weeks). A manager called me later that day which made me hopeful since she at least wasn’t rude but she also did nothing to get my furniture sooner and days later told me that even though they quoted me 5-14 days, legally they had 30 days to get it to me so the quote doesn’t actually matter. My stuff was about a week late, banged up and I was up charged every step of the way. Horrible company.

Forced to give one star they don’t deserve! I would NEVER in a million years recommend this company. They are crooks and don’t care about anything but getting their money. I was charged over $8000 for a 2 bedroom apartment move across the country. They scammed me out of an additional $2000 because their shady sales guy Mike “misquoted” something on my manifest, but I got screwed out of the $$ because of HIS mistake. They don’t listen and they take advantage of you when you ask them straight out for help.
Once you sign with them as the “broker” they add up charges annd misquotes, and you are stuck paying what they say, because you signed the original manifest. They say they’re affiliated with Veterans, which should be a disgrace, as if the Veterans knew the shady business they are in, they would demand to NOT be connected to this scam in any way! They told me some credits would be applied by the movers and would come off my quote, however after they got their money, no adjustments were done… leaving it up to me to fight with yet another company, who seriously had no reason to do anything because why would they take out of their money, and who in no way was going to honor what they said! The whole organization is awful!

The moving crew were very professional, polite and fast!! I really appreciated how carefully they wrapped the furniture. We went through the paperwork very carefully and checked off the items that was going to be moved and marked the items that were not going to be shipped. I had an extremely distressing experience with SafeShip Moving Services and MQ Movers, and I feel obligated to share this so others can make informed decisions. While paying in cash or cashier’s check was explained upfront, it was not explained why. It only became clear after going through this experience that this requirement exists to ensure the company is paid regardless of the level or quality of service provided, as full payment was demanded before unloading and before I was allowed to inspect my belongings. There were dishonest verbal promises and misrepresentation of the delivery timeline. I was repeatedly told someone would call me with updates regarding delivery, but those calls did not happen despite continued assurances.
After waiting over 20 days for delivery, I was given just 12 hours’ notice that my items would be delivered — on Christmas Day. When the truck arrived, the carrier refused to unload anything without full payment upfront, and I was not allowed to inspect my items prior to payment. I was also not provided a copy of the contract, and an honest verbal explanation of the contract terms would have significantly impacted my decision-making.
The condition of my belongings was unacceptable:• Boxes were contaminated with mouse droppings
• Plastic totes were chewed through by mice
• My dresser mirror was broken
• Three live mice crawled out of the truck when the delivery driver opened it
The delivery driver was rude, and the unloading crew appeared to be last-minute helpers hired the day of delivery. The helpers verbally told me they had no idea what they would be doing and were simply told to show up at my home address, which raised serious safety and professionalism concerns. After posting my review, I was contacted multiple times by representatives from both SafeShip and MQ Movers asking me to remove my review, including offers of compensation to do so. SafeShip attempted to present themselves as advocating on my behalf with the carrier; however, they are the company that hired the carrier, and I was given no choice in that selection. This experience was stressful, unsanitary, and deeply unprofessional. I strongly encourage anyone considering these companies to insist on full transparency, written documentation, and contract clarity, and to proceed with extreme caution.

We contacted Safe Ship in September 2025 to get a quote for a coast to coast move. We didn’t have a move date, but we were pressured to sign a contract, which was first assessed at $15k. They insisted that we needed to put a deposit down to secure a spot for when we did have a move date. We did make a deposit of half the cost of the move, with a disclosure that we had 7 days to request a refund. At no time did they disclose that they were a broker and hired third party movers.
After two days I was so untrusting of the contract, I called and requested a refund of my deposit. It was obvious that they didn’t want to refund my deposit, as I was transferred to three different sales agents, each one gave me a lower quote, which I kept declining, the last quote being $10k and they would store my household goods for up to 90 days. They finally agreed to refund my deposit, but it took nearly two weeks via snail mail to get it. These are not reputable company and do mislead people like me to trust them. Luckily we contacted a direct carrier (not a broker) and received a reliable flat rate to move. Do your research before signing with any company.

**DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SAFE SHIP***. If I could give them negative 5 stars I would. They don't even deserve 1 star. My wife and I hired safe ship moving company to move us from Tennessee to Idaho. At first they were very thorough with the list of items we have that needed to be shipped and moved with them. We were given a discount at that time to get us to do business with them as well. A few days later we get a call from another guy who magically increased our price by over $800 for the move therefore making the discount null and pointless. (One of their tactics to nickel and dime you.) Claiming that we added more items when we didn't. He said we added 7 items. (Basically 7 medium boxes that I told them in the initial conversation/quote). (How does 7 medium boxes cost an additional $800+??)
Then, the moving company showed up to load our stuff. They left trash and garbage all over our house we were vacating making us have to clean up after them (completely unprofessional and disrespectful, especially when you are paying them $6,000+ for a move). Then they failed to list all our items on the list of items we were shipping. The only communication we received during this time was about money and not about anything else. Yesterday 12/22, our household goods were delivered by this company called "Loyal moving and storage" based out of Salt lake City Utah.
These guys show up with our $5,500 Tempur Pedic mattress strapped to the backend and outside of their moving truck. (Didn't we pay you for the space in the truck??) Seeing our $5,500 mattress being treated like trash and it didn't matter was just the beginning of the $8,000 in damage and "lost" items from these people.
The started to unload our stuff only to see all the damage they created and caused to literally EVERY single piece of furniture. They unwrapped our book shelves from the movers blankets and the bookshelves were absolutely destroyed and just left sitting in our garage for us to have to deal with throwing them away. One bookshelf was completely missing the other half of the bookshelf, my sim racing cockpit is completely missing, my weed wack is missing, my wife's library chair is missing, and all the boxes were destroyed and smashed. They took apart our glass table and didn't even bother to give us the hardware for it and or tell us they did.
The delivery driver named Moussa told me that he knew about the damages yet not one person communicated this with us. Not one person told us about the missing items or damaged items until they showed up and I said something. (They would have said nothing about the damages and lost/stolen items if I didn't say something). I could have moved EVERYTHING myself with a U-Haul and flat bed for my Mustang they ALSO screwed up (scratched up windshield from the delivery driver using my wipers and said nothing about it). I could have spent $2000 to move everything myself by uhaul and everything would have been in the good/new condition our belongings were in when they picked them up initially.
These people are liars, thieves, and scum. If THIS is how you as a "veteran owned" business conduct business (especially as a veteran myself) then you shouldn't be allowed to run this company. Take extreme caution when dealing with this company as I would highly recommend and encourage you to find someone else or do it yourself. These people owe us $8000+ for lost and damaged items that total more than the amount we paid for the move. Now we have to go through some insane "claims" garbage that I'm sure they have going all the time from other peoples claims based on the lack of professionalism and care they take during your move and with your personal belongings.
This company treats your stuff and expensive items like they don't matter and just tell you to "file a claim." Telling me this is NOT a good enough resolution to the massive amount of money and damage you people caused on our belongings. This is absolutely pathetic and if we do not get refunded or compensated the amount for the lost and damaged items. We will be filling a lawsuit against this company and they will be sitting in front of a military judge very soon. I will NOT tolerate this level of disrespectful unprofessional lack of care from a company that made claims that they would take care of us and make sure our belongings got to us safely and in one piece and ALL the items got to us.
If you spent the time reading this. Do yourself a favor and go give someone else your money and business. You will NOT get professional movers as 2 of the 3 guys who delivered our stuff yesterday looked like minors and had zero experience and couldn't even pick up a heavy box. (Weak and incompetent). They didn't even want to bring our stuff inside our home either. Safe ship better make this right or they will have this veteran suing you and filling a lawsuit.
You would think that spending over $6000 to move your stuff that they would take good care of your belongings but they treat it like trash. If you want to deal with a headache and being pissed off. Then by all means use these criminals and unprofessional scum. Otherwise you would be doing yourselves a favor by choosing another moving company.

I will start out. I am a veteran, and this was my last move to reviews online. Look, great. Initial conversation pressured to sell you. The move went ahead, read reviews. Military good, I will use them, showed up my house $7000 more. Everything agreed on had to change. Movers were mad, moving from Maryland to Florida. They held my furniture and everything. And said would be in a climate-controlled atmosphere, was not did not tell me my items will be taken off. The initial truck stored, put back onto another truck and destroyed in the process. Just a big items was over $10000 to damage. Do not use these people. They are just a middleman, you cannot contact them and tell the last minute and then everything is screwed up. Let's not talk about the movers. They use Mine like I said, destroyed antique furniture. All artwork was wrinkled and they will only give you a certain amount of money, caution, caution, caution.

All seemed to be going will as I spoke to Arnold. We went through the house room by room to get a quote. He assured me that the accuracy rate of the quote is very high. I paid thousands of dollars a couple of months in advance to maximize the discounts. A week before the move, I was contacted by Kevin the “QA” rep who began prepping me for a higher quote when we went through the house again this morning 12-22-25. I contacted Arnold again who assured me that the quote was solid. When we finished going through my house today the quote literally doubled in price. Kevin said I added a lot of items to the inventory and now needed a full pack. I had boxed the vast majority to the items myself in original manufacturer boxes since I have high value media gear for a home theater.
Arnold assured me that they have the highest accuracy rate in the business. Well it appears that the accuracy was 50%. This is classic bait and switch, it is far too late in the process to get other estimates. They claim their quote is “binding” but beware, the only binding portion of the quote is that while you can’t get out of it, there is nothing binding on their part. I am confident that every time another rep looks at the quote and surveys the inventory, it will be higher and higher. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I have been totally burned.

Ok this is our 1st time using a moving company. I’ve always just moved myself. Well we’re moving across country and Safe Ship Movers really went above and beyond to make sure it went smoothly. They will call you a lot from many different people to make sure that everything is going as planned. Luis ** called after the movers came to make sure it went all well. I’m very impressed.
