Had a wonderful experience with Safe Ship. I was organizing a move from LA to NY. They provided a fair quote and it was accurate. There was no price change on pickup, so no unexpected surprises. The pickup team were communicative, arrived on time and were truly fantastic. The whole house was packed in the truck within an hour and everything was handled with care. I have another move I already want to do with them now!

I booked through Safe ship and they sent out Vanlines USA. It was super easy to book and they were very thorough with everything and helped me with every step. Vanlines USA sent out Tamir and Sergio to pack everything and move it. They did an incredible job at packing everything and making sure everything was safe!

I was not impressed with the communication. If you had questions it was difficult to get anyone to help you. I had my first estimate and inventory completed and had to all several times to get the actual list of items. It was incorrect and was short by about 20 boxes and and other items. I asked them to update it several times and they said that they would call be 3-7 days before my move. I told them I didn’t want a big change in the amount to wait until the last minute. That is exactly what happened. The final cost was over 5000 more than the first estimate. And they called me three days before the move. Of course the moving company Just Pro (they were great) had the first estimate and we’re going to charge me for the difference in the first estimate and what was actually loaded. Thank God I had my last estimate and they could see what was due. I am hesitant to complain too much as my things will not be delivered until 04/08, 3 days after the pickup.

I highly recommend using Safe Ship Moving. Everyone I spoke with at Safe Ship was knowledgeable, professional and kind. I worked with Gavin, Ryan D., and Isaac **, and each of them took extra time to explain every detail of what to expect, and to answer my questions, even though I texted them after hours and over the weekend. Isaac took extra time checking on my delivery date and getting back to me immediately. Everything was packed up tight and arrived in perfect condition. Moving is stressful, but working with Safe Ship took so much off my shoulders. I am truly grateful that I found them!

These guys made the process so much easier to move across country. I moved from Vermont to Arizona called them to get a quote, went through everything. During the quote process, call them back later on to set up the actual move. And when the guy has came, they were super-efficient. Like, I can't say enough. Good things about them, because they we're just super professional, super friendly, made everything really easy for this big move from mine. And very affordable, like, let's be real. The cost to do that was very reasonable. For the distance that I was moving. If you guys want use it, stress, free, move, use them. They will make it happen.

We used Safe Ship Moving Services as our long-distance mover to ship furniture from New Jersey to Wisconsin and it was a great experience. The company was very accommodating with moving dates, and there were no hidden charges. The movers at the New Jersey end (Century Moving Services) were extremely professional and efficient. All of the furniture was carefully wrapped. Kudos to Nestor and his team for the excellent service and taking the stress out of this move for us.

Do not use Safe Ship. They assigned my mother's move to a moving service that was not fully vetted by them (Four Seasons Movers LLC out of NJ), and the results were disastrous. Four Seasons missed dates and times and, more importantly, failed to deliver many items (including a recliner). Four Seasons did not help resolve and admitted they were a new add. Don't risk it with a shady broker - deal directly with a reputable mover.

Stay. Away. From. This. Company. *Read their BBB complaints, the Reddit threads, and Trust Pilot reviews (the one-star reviews are all true). They are polite on the phone and tell you everything you want to hear to book with them. Then they contract out your move to third parties who will ruin your life. Their salespeople are also very good at what they do - they strongarm you into signing with them. Trust your gut and seek other quotes first.

This was the BIGGEST scam. I called ALLIED Movers and was routed to Safe Ship Moving. They pressured me to commit, promised me that I had contingency letter that allowed for me to find a place to live. It came over as a contingency on buying and selling a house. I told them I was not buying or selling a house, I was looking for an apartment. They assured me the contingency would work for that as well. Paid the deposit and then was HOUNDED daily by the company wanting to know exactly how I was going to pay the movers. I had already told them they would get cash or case equivalent as they requested. They wanted to know exactly if it would be Venmo, cash or cashiers check. I repeatedly assured them they would get paid.

The movers were very professional & friendly. They communicated before their arrival and were prompt and accommodating. They handled my precious cargo with TLC. I highly recommend this company. From the time I called to schedule the move to the point of delivery I felt valued and understood.

If you are in search for the best mover that will take care of your furniture help to ensure that is not damaged, lost or any problem whatsoever call Safe Ship. They have done the work for you. They have checked out the companies. They know the ends and out of everyone out there. And they can ensure you that it's going to do right or you can call their customer service and they will fix it but you're not going to have that problem. I promise it is wonderful. All I had to do was just sit back and watch and stay in awe the whole time as to how trained these people are. It was just a pleasure to have them be in charge of the things that I've had for 20 years. Some of them antiques and stuff. Had no worries whatsoever. Maybe just feel so good that I googled their name and Google do what to do. He said get them and I did and I've never been more happier so if you want to save yourself some grief call Safe Ship. They'll fix it.

Crooks and liars. They have no care for their customers. Typical bait and switch operation. You get an estimate, then they are "supposed" to provide you an on-site estimate prior to your final bill. Nope, movers loaded the truck then threatened me (a female alone) that I had to pay. This is also an illegal practice and violates Safe Ship contract. 5 days late due to broken truck. No communication with me. Driver called me the night before my actual delivery and when I informed him that I wasn't to pay for the original guaranteed date, he told me he would "take my sh*t back".

Safe Ship was very quick and responsive. They called me back for the initial quote almost immediately. The initial quote was a little low, but the company does a secondary “QA” quote that was much more thorough in documenting our belongings. The secondary quote did change the price but there was no additional fee on pickup. The packing was thorough and efficient. Everything was very well wrapped up for transit. The team was professional and skilled.

This company is the the worst company I have ever seen or dealt with. They are only a broker. They will screw you over every chance you get. My car was supposed to get my car Monday, then Tuesday, then Wednesday 3 different times Now Thursday 3 different times. They still haven't picked my car up to transport. I wanted my money back and they said the deposit was nonrefundable. I have spoke to 10 different people and everybody says it's not their fault. Please for your own safety and peace of mind DO NOT USE THIS SCAMMING COMPANY. The Safe Ship Moving company has all my stuff so I won't do the review until I get my stuff. But they are just as bad as the auto division. I had to get my neighbor to get my car loaded because they already left with my house internals 3 days earlier. Still no auto transport after e days. I am a verified customer.

The teams’ communication has been great from the start. Everyone has been very nice and efficient. Someone always answered the phone when I had questions. Our driver notified me when he was a half hour away, which helped me to be better prepared for his arrival.

Disappointing so far as I have not yet received my furniture or any communication as to when I could anticipate seeing it. The system is set up to discourage phone contact in any form and am honestly frustrated. Also the customer service are answered by a chatbot that basically tells you to bugger off.

It was a wonderful process once they arrived and everything was done in a flexible secure manner. I highly recommend hiring Joe and Mark specifically as I imagine they work better than a lot of movers I have had in my history. With that said Safe Shipping was not good at communicating and Mark and Joe were the ones who had to fix the entire situation. Messed up dates, scheduling etc and I highly recommend thanking them for putting me at ease and helping me have a successful move. They are great however Safe Ship needs to do better. I will be hiring them again directly.

These guys do a great job! Literally no hiccups. Very efficient. Nothing was damaged or broken and the workers had a great attitude the entire time. Had a lot of stairs in my building and they were still able to make it work.

I had a good experience overall. The initial quote experience was good and the actual pick up with Rushmore Vanlines was fantastic. However, something very strange is when they called for the second estimate, 4 days before the pick up date, they tried to increase the price by double and then we were able to bring it all the way down to the original quote once I talked to a more senior member.

Team was on time, professional and efficient. They took extra care for the televisions and other fragile items. Safe Ship has done a A plus job leading the move so far. Matthew ** followed up to make sure they did a good job and has been very professional.

I highly recommend this company, the communication was above what I expected. They were very helpful answered every question with great detail. If I know of someone who wants to move I would recommend them.

My move experience was not very good. My first quote I received (I believe) was intentionally quoted smaller to make it seem like a better deal than it was. Then, they call you the week before the move to ‘double check’ your moving items; my price jumped up 20% after already signing the contract. They really sold me on a 2-10 business day timeline for a 900 mile move, with a little wink wink towards the shorter end. On the 10th business day, I had to call customer service to find out what was going on and was told by a very helpful manager (Kyra) that this never happens and that Safe Ship takes this matter seriously (even though they TECHNICALLY could take up to 30 days legally to get you your stuff). The delivery guys again showed up late on the 12th business day past their day of delivery window. I thought the quality of the moving crews were great, careful, and all of my stuff was handled great.

The mover was great, but he was basically alone since his partner was disabled. He was not able to get all my items on the truck and he could have done a better job of packing so that other would all fit but being one man, did a fantastic job. I was hot happy with the second call I got when they tried to DOUBLE the price of their estimate. I told him I would go with the original estimate and I would not need a large truck like he tried to talk me into.

From the start they were very informative and accommodating to our situation. They had great follow-up and always kept us up to date of what was going on. They gave great tips on what to bring to our pack out since we were in a storage unit.

From reservation to pick up, this has been a nice and easy process. Moving is stressful and this company has made everything easier and pleasant experience. The 3 movers on site handled all of my belongings with extreme care.

They made promises. I told them I saw the bad reviews and they told me everything will be okay. It wasn't stuff got broken, my video games were stolen and the movers made me and my dad carry the stuff far to the storage cause they couldn't get the truck in and didn't want to call a shuttle. They tried to charge me more before they came and held my stuff hostage. I should've just let them keep it I couldn't put my dresser together parts were missing, my favorite accent chair got broken, my vintage video games were stolen, yes stolen. The box I put them in specifically was missing them. Oh and the slats to my bed were missing. I had to buy a new kitchen table. Everyone I had talked to made so many assurances that it would be ok. I made a claim back when I finally got my furniture almost 2 months after I moved and no response. They are scammers and sent people who barely could drive a truck. The movers were so rude.

Safeship was very responsive and efficient, and I was able to book my move the same week. Even though it was last minute, they didn't charge me an absurd amount and the actual movers (Rocky and his crew) were making sure to update me about what day they would arrive, when they were on the way, and when they were finished. They were so accommodating and 11,000,000% recommend them to anybody doing a long distance move! I just had a baby and they made this process so smooth and easy. I would give them 10 stars if I could, and they didn't give me the run around like other companies.

Please reconsider working with Safe Ship Moving Service! Long story short: We waited 4 weeks for an ‘immediate’ delivery with no updates or communication aside from what we initiated ourselves through contacting customer service. Because of the disclaimers in the agreement you sign, there is nothing you can do if you are weeks beyond your estimated delivery window and your delivery still hasn’t arrived. Several of our items arrived damaged. Another customer must be missing a garbage can because it was mistakenly delivered along with our shipment.

DO NOT USE THIS BROKERAGE SERVICE. Absolutely garbage service from start to finish. I was up-charged after already paying a non refundable deposit. The first guy I spoke to (John) assured me I would be able to contact him with any changes and after I paid my deposit. I was never able to reach him directly again after easily reaching him 3 times before making my first payment. I end up being stuck over paying now because it was too late to switch companies by the time they were up-charging me.

Safe Ship Moving Services handled my move very professionally. They were able to schedule me for a specific date pickup and drop off which was very helpful for scheduling move in with the condo complex. The movers handled my furniture like it was their own and made sure to wrap every item in moving blankets with plenty of tape. They were fast and efficient. Two people had all my things moved in 3 and a half hours. Would use again.

The actual moving company they use for my move was a nightmare. They are just a broker who will take your money and hire horrible movers. They hired Express Van Lines for our move and it was the absolute worst! I was told by Alex with Express Van Lines to go only through him and he didn’t have all of my thumbs delivered and laughed because his wife would love to have boxes of shoes like mine and then ironically those boxes of shoes never showed up at delivery. He didn’t want to answer the phone but then once I made a complaint, he wanted to talk to me then only because he wanted to get good Christmas bonus. He lied so many times to me and then to the company and I’m out my stuff but yet he probably sold my things or kept them. I absolutely would not use either of these. Safe Ship as the broker or their movers Express Van Lines. The worst nightmare.

This was the best move I’ve ever experienced! Moe and Carlos with Cobra Van Lines were very efficient, courteous, hard-working, and fast! I cannot think of a bad thing to comment on. The people with Safe Ship Moving Services stayed in contact with me before, during and after my move.

Safe Ship could be more organized in the initial set up process. The inventory portion was really difficult to do online, it would be better if you could do it by room. Also, there is no virtual or in-person inventory, which caused a huge increase in price from the initial setup to the final box count. Just Pro Moving was phenomenal. They handled all of our belongings with such care and carefully wrapped all of our furniture. They were timely and professional. Would highly recommend them to anyone.
