I can’t express my appreciation for Safe Ship Moving making my transition a pleasant one. No one likes to move, but when you have such a professional team to work with it makes the whole thing so much better truth, and transparent, pricing impeccable, professionalism, and attention to detail. The right choice.

My initial impressions of this company were positive, but every subsequent interaction became more and more disrespectful and unethical. To summarize everything below: this company and their carrier partners are not to be trusted. It is advised not to hire them, but if you do please understand the risks outlined below.

Excellent job to Safe Ship Moving for assisting us with everything! Dexter ** took very good care of us regarding our big move. Thank you sincerely. Also the crew was very processional, friendly and quick! We like it!

I was job #** with SafeShip! They arrived on time, worked very hard while they were here and took great care with my furniture as if it was their own. Everything was wrapped well and all areas were cleaned up before they left. The 3 movers were polite and respectful and I will definitely use them again for future jobs. Also loved that Dexter followed up the next day to make sure all went smoothly. He was happy to hear about my flawless experience. Very impressive!

Disorganized, misleading, and expensive. Safe Ship Moving turned a small, simple move into a nightmare. Pickup involved multiple undisclosed subcontractors (different company names on the truck and crew). My shipment was estimated at 350 cf, when it was closer to 9 cf, and one agent even claimed it needed 400 cf after reviewing photos — completely absurd. Delivery missed the 0–7 day window and was rescheduled at least five times, with same-day ETA changes from 2 PM → 5 PM → 7 PM. Each missed delivery cost me real money paying people to be on-site — all documented. Way too many agents, drivers, contracts, and phone calls. No accountability, poor communication, and a lot of stress while dealing with probate matters. I would not use them again.

This started as a great experience. Booking was an easy process and the price was reasonable. Pickup was perfect and the driver was very helpful. We did have a hiccup with the delivery time, they were supposed to be 7-12 days but said they would deliver in 4 days. We needed to bump that time to 7 days which they said was easy enough to do, that they had another carrier they could send it on. Day 7 comes and our delivery driver arrived at 6pm.

Safe Ship was able to set up movers for me very quickly, with very little notice. They were on time and handled all my items with very good care. I had quite a few large items that they were able to handle with ease and get into the truck.

Great customer service and very efficient. Our packing and moving experience has been great and the Jay was so helpful easing stress too! I do recommend them.

During a challenging move, she personally took ownership of me as a customer and was a persistent advocate. Even when my own communication failed, she stayed diligent and used multiple modes of contact to ensure I was taken care of. I appreciate her very, very much.

By far the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. This company partners with other moving companies who do not communicate, charge hidden bogus fees, and has zero accountability. You will not be working with Safe Ship Movers, you will be working with 1, 2 or maybe even 3 other moving companies who will all handle your stuff and switch trucks without warning. They will also charge you 500$ for switching trucks and companies without warning.

As a 100% Disabled Veteran who lives alone with a 10-lbs Service Dog, I was more than impressed with the level of detail, Service and confirmation offered to me. My mind has been at ease from the beginning, and with every person every step of the way. People need to understand that the price is not only very competitive, but the peace of mind and trust with your possessions is PRICELESS! The logistics team came in and conquered my move stuff within a few hours- I was IMPRESSIVELY SHOCKED! I cannot say Thank You enough! GOD BLESS & GOD KEEP you.

My family moved out of state in 2024 and are now moving back to our previous state this summer. I contacted a moving company for an estimate after finding them online. (I thought I was calling a local company out of Manchester, NH, but they were actually based out of Boca Raton.) They called me back right away and were extremely helpful and friendly and had me go through each room of my home and tell them the contents so that they could come up with an estimate. The estimate seemed high and I told them so. I was working with Conor and he put me on hold while he spoke to someone and was able to knock off close to $4,000.

From start to finish the team has been nothing short of amazing. From the initial inquiry, the reps were really helpful. They explained the process to me regarding cost, pickup, drop off and asissted with ensuring all pieces were captured for my move. I would definitely recommend them to others for their moves!

Over 1 month and I still do NOT have my stuff! I left Pryor Oklahoma Dec 29th 2025, Safe Ship picked up my stuff and my Wife and I DROVE to NewPort New Hampshire, and it took us about 3 days to get here. Today is Jan 29th 2026 and I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY BELONGING! Not only that, they doubled the price of the initial quote and expect us to PAY MORE when they finally get here! We've already paid close to 4k and they want ANOTHER 1000 when they finally do get here! This COMPANY IS A CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE and should be SHUT DOWN! They claim it's VETERAN OWNED? I'm a Disabled VET and will make sure the Veterans Administration knows about how awful this Company is! 1 month!! I still don't have my stuff! Watch the fine print, they give themselves almost 2 months to deliver it! Terrible company!

They did an outstanding job. Highly professional and took the time to do the job right. They listened to my concerns and helped me determine the best place to put items. Will hire them again.

Safe Ship was very detailed and helpful in helping me move. I moved across multiple states and the movers were always on time and careful with our belongings. Everyone has been polite and nice and easy to communicate with. I was happy with the price as well, I found it reasonable.

If you are considering using this company, DON'T. I am in the middle of trying to get back an $1,800 deposit that they are withholding while no services have been rendered. I cancelled 2 months before the move and they are fighting to keep my money. I have reported them to the BBB as well where I found many other customers have had issues with them.

Far and away a horrible experience. Safe Ship sub contracts out the moving and the movers damaged quite a bit of my belongings. I have broken legs on furniture, they dragged wardrobe boxes through snow until they disintegrated on the bottom and my wife's dresses and my suits are ruined, broken frames and lamps as well. When I called Noah ** and Tim ** back to express how I felt neither one would put on a pair of pants and return my call. I passed to a customer service rep that I could not understand. I was then passed onto the sub-contracted mover who I'm presently working with. These people take your money, damage property and take zero responsibility when they destroy family heirlooms.

We had to move quickly and they got us scheduled in about a week. They loaded and unloaded all our stuff and moved us across the state in a snowstorm without a hitch. I appreciated how thorough they were in checking our inventory so no surprises were had!

Disgustingly unprofessional, very untrustworthy, profound liars, and disrespectful to Veterans and Service members. They claim to be veterans owned, trust worthy and reliable. That... They're not. Per how they operate and their dealings, they bring disgrace, taint, and bring dishonor to Veterans and Service members. My experience with this company (as a Veteran and Retired Service member) was utterly appalling, disgustingly dishonoring, and major taint to Veterans everywhere. They make promise, say, "We got you, we'll take care of our Veteran, no worries." But that immediately changes once you pay and sign the initial BOL. There's automatic customer disregard, rudeness to the point their representatives Kyle ** and others would laugh at ya on the phone when you remind them of what was initially discussed and promised prior to you signing the initial BOL and paying them.

I have only great things to say about the whole process starting with Safe Ship. Timothy took my order. He knew his stuff and was very professional. We ran through a list of items asking if I was taking or staying. The quote given was off of the list. Safe Bound contacted me for the actual move. Three workers came and boxed items and packed the truck. It took three of them two hours to pack and load the truck. They were very efficient.

Good team that worked in bad weather. Great guys! When my previous moving guys canceled, they showed up and saved me when I needed them most. They were even kind enough to bring their own moving van and cloth to prevent scratching!

DO NOT USE THEM! They contract with you at one price and then the Carrier they contract you out to calls right before your move and adds an additional up charge. If you don’t want to pay it because you gave them all the correct information as far as truck size, storage size, etc., they will hold your goods hostage. Safe Ship and Uship.(carrier safe Safe Ship *** contracted us with.), need to be reported..

Please let this accurate and most recent review serve as the decision to use this hell of a so-called business. First, they are a broker, which they don’t tell you. Please contact moving companies directly. YOU DON'T NEED TO PAY THESE PEOPLE. They did not take my itemized list correctly, therefore when the actual movers showed up, my price changed dramatically. Since my things were all packed and I was ready to go, it left me no choice. Now that was only particular to my situation.

Movers were early, and very polite on the pickup. Juan explained everything thoroughly, and made it easy to move through the paperwork. (There is a lot of paperwork!) I would recommend their service to others!

Great service, everything was picked up in time and all the drivers were in contact to give updates. The prices are the best and cheapest. Haven't have any issues so far and I'm sure delivery will be just as easy as pick up.

Alexandra B truly saved my experience with moving from Colorado to Washington D.C. The company (Loadrans llc) that was moving my items was not communicating with me at all, they were past the date range I was quoted, and tried to overcharge me several times after I signed off what I was quoted (tried to charge me an “elevator use” fee for the “work it takes to push the button and to get in the elevator” - this is an example of one). I was regretting ever using a moving company until Alexandra took over my case. She was one of the only people that genuinely listened to my concerns, she called and communicated with me everyday she was in office with an update - I was promised updates several times for various people and Alexandra was the ONLY one who stuck to her word.

Safe Ship and Loadrans did a fantastic job. They answered any questions I had and were very professional. They were punctual and made sure to pack everything with care and organization. They arrived on time and were efficient.

I have had the best experience with Safe Ship Moving Company. I have never moved before & was completely lost. From my first contact with Ryan ** (who explained everything to me so that I could understand) to my last contact with Matthew ** & Jake ** (who checked how my pickup went) everyone has been very friendly & helpful the whole way. I contacted them to get a quote, then found out they were outside of my price range. Told them I would call back in February, and I was called back by multiple contractors despite my repeatedly asking them to take me off their lists. I even left a voicemail asking them to stop harassing me. When they kept calling, I would answer with, "Please take me off your list," to now just "take me off your list." They have not done so yet. At first, I just thought it was the right hand not telling the left hand anything. But it just seems like one of those scummy services that hire desperate people to harass you until you're broken down. I'm now just shipping things through the mail out of spite and would encourage others to rally their friends to do the same. Don't give in to a phone terrorist who won't take no for an answer. This is worse than those call centers that try to sell insurance.

I have used multiple other companies to move and this one is by far the most professional. Their time management, ability to properly and safely package everything, and communication throughout the whole process was superb. Dario and Emilio were my movers and they conducted the move effortlessly. Good experience overall 10/10.

Eli and Wayne did a great job and they worked with me and got it done in a timely fashion, everything was explained well and I would definitely recommend them! They were also good to talk to and helped the whole process be a lot smoother!

I submitted a 5 star review for this emergency moving company broker, but apparently it did not go through. My initial representative was amazing! Professional, courteous and polite. He made a horrible situation tolerable by being so amicable. The moving company was spectacular! My issues started Monday (1/19), the day after my move on Sunday (1/18). The customer service calls/texts from Safe Ship Moving started Monday (1/19) morning regarding the service I received. I was unable to talk and the rep stated it would only take a few minutes. I eventually interrupted him stating I’m on my way to visit a doctor regarding “a serious illness” and said I would try and call him back. He sounded sincerely apologetic. I hope there is recording of this conversation.

Second time using Safe Ship. The movers were right on time, explained everything before having me sign, wrapped all our belongings very well. Took their time and did a good job! They were very professional and friendly as well. I would recommend Safe Ship anytime.

Had a last second move come up. Wanted to use this company since it is a veteran owned company. Talked to a staff member for over an hour to get this set up with dimensions of items to be shipped and received a quote. Got several phone calls that evening and that day to confirm and ensure that everything was good to go. One phone call I received was saying that I didn't have enough space on the truck and raised my quote up almost another 1400.00. Told me to cancel the order or take it 'cause the representative the day prior gave me the wrong information.

My experience with Safe Ship did meet my expectations and more. Starting with the contract to the actual pickup from the moving team to Matthew calling and checking to see how things went was done in a timely, courteous and professional manner.

With a ton of companies from which to choose, we made a good call. The whole team was great! The process was as easy as possible for a big move (MT to TX in January). They were attentive, punctual, nice, and professional. We had an excellent experience.

I had a great experience with Alexandra. I had some issues with overpayment requested by the driver during my scheduled move with Safe ship but Alex was able to address my concerns and sort me out relatively quickly.

Premiere Moving and Storage was excellent! I would prefer to deal with them directly vs going through Safe Ship as the brokerage. As I was not happy with their lack of transparency and some other issues. Premier came in and got the job done in record time. They were efficient and friendly. I would recommend them.

They were incredibly accommodating with our tight timeline and handled our “rescue move” flawlessly. The crew was fast, professional, and super considerate with all our items. Worst moving company I’ve ever used. The quote doesn’t match what you pay. I wouldn't Recommend anyone to wage their money with the company. It’s a rip off and the third party was supposed to deliver my stuff. They changed the pricing and didn’t give any updates. They definitely just want your money. Still haven’t received items that we’re supposed to be delivered.

They honored the time that they said that they would arrive... They handled my furniture with great care and secured it with multiple blankets to prevent damage... They sent out an adequate amount of laborers so that I didn't have to assist with anything... They even broke my bedroom set down along with dismantling my mirror from the dresser... They broke down every table and detached the legs so that they wouldn't get damaged or loosened... They secured my glass lamps and glass tables to secure that the glass wouldn't break or crack or shatter... I would use them again on my next move and would definitely recommend their services to anyone in the market to move... I'm very satisfied with the services that were provided...

I’m literally putting a 2 star rating so hopefully they can’t pay to remove it like one stars. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Let me repeat DO NOT! DO NOT! DO NOT! We have been lied to since the first phone call. Gavin told us that our stuff would be loaded on one truck and that same truck would be delivering our stuff. We moved from California to Ohio. Was charged over 18k and from day 1 of the move has been HORRIBLE. They showed up in a small box truck loaded that truck and most of the guys didn’t understand English and they would ask us this one this one? And we would tell them yes or no.

Do not use! I never write reviews and taking the time so other people are not inconvenience or scammed! They made a huge deal out of me wanting to cancel my move with them. They were pushy, almost threatening and not ethical in their practices. Did not mention $165 convenience fee for using credit card, overpriced service overall and they are only brokers not actual movers so you are paying extra for them to outsource the job. Beware and stay away!

BBB Review: I highly recommend this company. My brother, who lives in another state and is handicapped, called me to arrange his move. I was so relieved when I called Safe Ship Movers, they basically handled everything which took a lot of stress from me. They kept me informed every step of the way. Even after the move (they didn’t forget us), Jonathan Deatherage called to find out if the movers completed everything they were supposed to do and to inform us that we have up to 90 days if anything was damaged. If you want a moving company that makes your life stress free and so professional and kind, call them, you won’t be dissatisfied.

Horrible experience and company that does the classic bait and switch on clients. I submitted a quote request a month before our move where the salesperson went through our inventory and originally quoted over $11,000. When I said that was more than I was willing to pay he immediately came down to $9,000. I told him this was still too much and I was looking to pay around $4,000. He said they couldn’t do that, but he could come down to $6,000 because they had a truck that was going to be dropping a load off in my area which would save money. I declined and later sent an email stating if they couldn’t do it for $4,750 I would hire them. They did and I thought everything was good until they called 3 days before the move to do the final inventory list. We had gotten rid of a lot of big items from the original list, so we were expecting the cost to go down.

Great experience from pick up to delivery! The movers were very professional and took great care of my items. They arrived promptly when they said they would and were very efficient loading and unloading my items. I had to move quickly for an urgent job offer and Safe Ship handled all my concerns and lifted all my stress about the move. I would use Safe Ship Moving in the future without a second thought!

I was worried that moving my stuff across the country without me being there would be a nightmare. Safe Ship Moving made it easy and gave me comfort in knowing that they would take care of me and my stuff.

In short, this is complete scam, do not put ANY money down! On 1/9/26 I requested a quote and this is when two things happened. 1) After I told them I need to think about the quote, they were pushing too hard for me to put 1/3 of the bill down (this is not usual practice for movers) 2) They asked if my employer was paying for the move (so they could raise the price). Here is the worst of it, the following day (a Saturday) they called my phone 3 times back to back to push me again to the 1/3 of the bill down. At this point I told them this is wildly unprofessional and never to contact me again. P.S. If you still don't believe me, check their BBB profile. It's rampant with customer complaints!

Spoke with Jake from customer experience specialist and he spent time on phone with me explaining the moving process I do understand more at this point. I am happy that he will be taking my concerns to his team for further improvements with safe shipping communication with the customers. Looking forward to my move in two days.

I really appreciate the work the guys did. The team was great and they were all really nice and polite. They worked very quickly and made sure all my items were packed and were gentle with moving the household goods. They were very good with communication and explaining answers for any questions that I had. If I move again I will definitely look into using this company again. I highly recommend. They’re have great customer service!! They even followed up the next day on the move to make sure everything went ok. Dexter was super friendly.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Booked a Houston to Denver move that is not even over yet, paid $3800 and am being told I will owe even more on drop off. The salesperson I booked with, Lawrence, clearly said whatever he could to get me to book. I specifically asked about shuttle service fees, that I had gotten in quotes from other companies, if an 18-wheeler cannot approach my apartment that is surrounded by one-ways, and Lawrence clearly stated "We use U-Haul size trucks so that won't be an issue." I am dumb for believing him but I have never done a long distance move before and didn't know any better. He stated that my drop-off window was 3-10 days, but upon pickup I would be given a smaller window. That was also a lie.

Updated on 01/14/2026: I have been speaking with Samantha and she has assured me that she has stepped in and is handling it internally which I truly appreciate.

They were extremely helpful and accommodating. The best prices out of multiple places I have researched and still worked to lower it to help with my budget. They worked with a short term move and still was able to find a truck to help move. Every person I talked to was friendly and knowledgeable about the process.

I had a full packing and shipping of a 3br 2b house. I'm now missing gym equipment, all my and family winter clothes and shoes (including military uniforms, and suits). Had many broken decorations, and computer screen. Now they won't even respond.

Long Distance Movers were great on both ends. They were able to move their schedule up to better accommodate my needs and it was appreciated. There were some pricing issues with Safe Ship but Jake was good to work with at attempting to minimize the issue.

I had great experience with "Moving Express &Storage INC" for pick up thru Safe Ship. The pick up was on time, Jonathan and Team handled everything carefully. Communication was well throughout process from whole Team. Great Team work. I highly recommend for stress free move. Quick and reliable for quick move!

Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They made moving fun! Ashley from customer care was extremely helpful and friendly as well. Of course we were excited to move into our new home, but the moving of our belongings not so much. That can be stressful, to say the least. So we decide to look into a moving company. We’ve always been hesitant to use moving companies because of horror stories about scams, hidden fees, and honestly just trusting strangers with our entire lives packed into one truck. Because of that, we’ve always moved ourselves with a U-Haul. That changed when we got an accurate quote from Elizabeth at Safe Ship Moving. The price was nearly the same as moving ourselves, and after speaking with her, we felt confident enough to take the leap.. and I’m SO glad we did.

My experience is that the sales people lowball the quote in order to get your business. This happened to me. The salesperson quoted me around $5000 for the move. I then got rid of about half my stuff and the final quote was $8000. When I asked how that was possible I wasn’t provided a good answer. The salesperson also led me to believe that I would likely get my things within two weeks. He did say that he couldn’t guarantee it but he stated at several times that I would probably get my items in two weeks. It’s been over three weeks and I still don’t have my stuff.

This business went through an inventory of all my items to be moved with exact measurements. They gave me a price and I paid it. They said they would be moving my items themselves and the items would not be taken out of the truck and reloaded into a different truck. Some ** guys showed up to my house with a different company name and quoted a higher price because they had picked up the contract from Safe Ship. They wanted another $2500. I didn't have a choice at that point so I paid. They said there would be insurance on all items.

Called to get a quick quote. Spent 30 min in the phone where they tried 4 times to get me to put a deposit down on a quote after I repeatedly told them I wasn’t ready to schedule yet and that I needed to talk to my spouse first. They then moved me to the Manager who ended up saying “so you wouldn’t book this right now if I said the whole cost was $100?” I said no, I need to confirm with my spouse. He hung up on me right after that. They constantly talk about being a veteran company and how they like to help military. I told him from the beginning my spouse and I are military and they kept trying to use that as a selling technique when I just needed a rough quote. If you’re not ready to book right away be prepared to waste time and get treated badly.

Great service. Movers were very honest. Even found very valuable Jewelry that I had forgotten which they gave to me. They were very careful with all of my belongings and packed everything with great care. They were kind, considerate and respectful.

Our experience was amazing January 1 of course I keep Car a snowstorm. Everybody ran late but when they got there, poor guys get out of the truck and they just hit it. They made everything so easy. They took care of everything, got it wrapped up appropriately. Can’t say enough good things.

I'll be perfectly honest: I almost didn't stick with Safe Ship. A day or so after I signed the contract, I got cold feet. So, I called the company intent on cancelling. After an hour and a half on the phone, Joel and Grover presented a very compelling case and convinced me to give it a little more time and consideration. They even extended the cancellation window as a goodwill gesture. I decided to give them my business. But it came with the warning that any "bait and switch," "gotcha," "red flags," or other potential negatives would be met with consequences the likes of which their company had probably never experienced. They were confident that I would end up being a very satisfied customer. I wasn't sure if it was confidence or stupidity on their part, but I admired the "can do" attitude.

We moved from Pennsylvania to Ohio and the price quoted almost doubled by the time the move was over. They pressured me when I initially called and made promises they didn't keep. They sent a crew with a truck that was too small and were unable to get everything on their truck with no solution. We had to rent a U-Haul truck and pack the rest of our things and move them ourselves at an additional cost. They took 14 hour to pack our house and when they finally arrived at the new house another 10 hours to unload. I was extremely overcharged for the worst service I have ever received. When contacting the company they took no responsibility and offered no compensation. This was the worst experience of my entire life and they should be put out of business. They are total scammed and should be prosecuted. No one should ever use these people. They are criminals as far as I'm concerned!

Veniamin ** and his team were fantastic and extremely hard working gentleman. They were very thorough and walked the house with us to make sure we did not miss anything for the move. Truly appreciate these guys and the fact they were upbeat, positive, and courteous was very reassuring for our move - which everyone knows that moving is very stressful. Rushmore Van Lines INC. showed up and got right to work after going through the house and verifying what were moving versus what was staying. They were able to fix a problems that came up because they came prepared with everything needed.

They will milk you for every cent you have, the quote reels you in and sounds nice then it flips a 180 and you end up paying triple when all is said and done, go directly through a moving company. Do not use this broker.

I have moved cross country with Interstate movers prior and my move was good but a couple things broken. Safe ship got good reviews so I decided to go with them instead for my move from South Carolina to Denver. Huge mistake. The actual movers were nice but literally threw my stuff around and when it came time to move in, boxes were all different directions despite arrows. My furniture is dinged and scrapped and some other items broken but nothing bad enough to claim so I have to just live with it. The real awful part is the company itself and their customer service. My movers were 5 hours late getting to my location. No one texted or called to check in and no one from the company could tell me anything. I had a two week delivery window and when it started to get close to the end I contacted them. I kept being told my items “were in transit” and a driver would get back to me.

Forced to give one star they don’t deserve! I would NEVER in a million years recommend this company. They are crooks and don’t care about anything but getting their money. I was charged over $8000 for a 2 bedroom apartment move across the country. They scammed me out of an additional $2000 because their shady sales guy Mike “misquoted” something on my manifest, but I got screwed out of the $$ because of HIS mistake. They don’t listen and they take advantage of you when you ask them straight out for help.

We went through the paperwork very carefully and checked off the items that was going to be moved and marked the items that were not going to be shipped. I had an extremely distressing experience with SafeShip Moving Services and MQ Movers, and I feel obligated to share this so others can make informed decisions. While paying in cash or cashier’s check was explained upfront, it was not explained why. It only became clear after going through this experience that this requirement exists to ensure the company is paid regardless of the level or quality of service provided, as full payment was demanded before unloading and before I was allowed to inspect my belongings. There were dishonest verbal promises and misrepresentation of the delivery timeline. I was repeatedly told someone would call me with updates regarding delivery, but those calls did not happen despite continued assurances.

We contacted Safe Ship in September 2025 to get a quote for a coast to coast move. We didn’t have a move date, but we were pressured to sign a contract, which was first assessed at $15k. They insisted that we needed to put a deposit down to secure a spot for when we did have a move date. We did make a deposit of half the cost of the move, with a disclosure that we had 7 days to request a refund. At no time did they disclose that they were a broker and hired third party movers.

Really great experience, they keep reaching out every step of the way. I'm looking forward to the second half of the move thanks to the team over at SAFE SHIP MOVING. Things are going well. And so onward and upward. Highly recommend this company.

Safe Ship Moving has been a great service to my family and I on our out of state move. Especially during the month of December I had a lot of changes on moving dates and they were always on top of it and made my move worry free.

The movers were very professional and did a great job. I had a lot of stuff and they had to call for another truck and they were very patient and understanding. The move took all day but they didn’t stop until everything was done.

Safe Ship was a great experience. Was helping move my son from Washington to California and did not have to move anything. I have physical issues and I would not be able to function today if I had to move and load/unload the furniture and boxes. We recently moved from MN to AZ, & I want to write a Huge thanks to Safe Ship! They handled my heavy furnitures and several large wardrobes with ease. **DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SAFE SHIP***. If I could give them negative 5 stars I would. They don't even deserve 1 star. My wife and I hired safe ship moving company to move us from Tennessee to Idaho. At first they were very thorough with the list of items we have that needed to be shipped and moved with them. We were given a discount at that time to get us to do business with them as well. A few days later we get a call from another guy who magically increased our price by over $800 for the move therefore making the discount null and pointless. (One of their tactics to nickel and dime you.) Claiming that we added more items when we didn't. He said we added 7 items. (Basically 7 medium boxes that I told them in the initial conversation/quote). (How does 7 medium boxes cost an additional $800+??)

I will start out. I am a veteran, and this was my last move to reviews online. Look, great. Initial conversation pressured to sell you. The move went ahead, read reviews. Military good, I will use them, showed up my house $7000 more. Everything agreed on had to change. Movers were mad, moving from Maryland to Florida. They held my furniture and everything. And said would be in a climate-controlled atmosphere, was not did not tell me my items will be taken off. The initial truck stored, put back onto another truck and destroyed in the process. Just a big items was over $10000 to damage. Do not use these people. They are just a middleman, you cannot contact them and tell the last minute and then everything is screwed up. Let's not talk about the movers. They use Mine like I said, destroyed antique furniture. All artwork was wrinkled and they will only give you a certain amount of money, caution, caution, caution.

The movers (Thomas and Antonio) were extremely helpful. They worked really fast and hard to make sure it was exactly where I wanted it in the home. They were very skilled at everything they were doing and were all the time.

All seemed to be going will as I spoke to Arnold. We went through the house room by room to get a quote. He assured me that the accuracy rate of the quote is very high. I paid thousands of dollars a couple of months in advance to maximize the discounts. A week before the move, I was contacted by Kevin the “QA” rep who began prepping me for a higher quote when we went through the house again this morning 12-22-25. I contacted Arnold again who assured me that the quote was solid. When we finished going through my house today the quote literally doubled in price. Kevin said I added a lot of items to the inventory and now needed a full pack. I had boxed the vast majority to the items myself in original manufacturer boxes since I have high value media gear for a home theater.

Setting up my move was quick and easy. Everything went according to plan and they took good care of my belongings. Customer support was very accommodating and helped me whenever I needed it. I'd work with Safeship to move again.

Ok this is our 1st time using a moving company. I’ve always just moved myself. Well we’re moving across country and Safe Ship Movers really went above and beyond to make sure it went smoothly. They will call you a lot from many different people to make sure that everything is going as planned. Luis ** called after the movers came to make sure it went all well. I’m very impressed. Now that it is all done I am very happy! Not just glad that it is over but very happy with the way it went. Safe Ship provided support and coordination throughout the entire process. It was communication from Safe Ship to it subcontractor American Central Moving and the subcontractor communication with the employees on site or on the truck that made this move a success. I must admit I was a little stressed out moving my family’s heavy furniture, antiques, Art, china and glassware across a thousand miles. Communication with Safe Ship by phone or online was effective and served to set up the process in advance. Prior to the move my daughter took the Safe Ship representative through the entire house using her iPhone while the representative itemized the inventory and to project the cost. This was sent to the subcontractor for review. The subcontractor showed up prepared and ready and on time communicating their arrival time.

Morris and his team were extremely personable, thorough, and efficient. They were on time and took great care of all of my furniture. Definitely could not have completed this move without them. Highly recommend them and Star USA moving.

Be very careful about using this company. They require a 50% deposit that is non-refundable after 4 days. We canceled a month later due to a family emergency. They offered no refund. So we are out 8k. They did zero work and got to keep our 8k. Do not recommend this company.

Original Review: Absolutely bait and switch criminals. Hours before our move, their quote of $7,900 that we gladly agreed to went up to over $11,000! They kept our full deposit of over $3,500 and lied to our bank that we had "buyer's remorse" and that is why we cancelled our move with them. They are legally set up to operate with this business model. So much for supporting veteran owned companies.

Paul and his team went above and beyond. Very professional and efficient. Paul really took care of me, and gave me complimentary materials and discounts that made my long distance move a extremely smooth and pleasant move. Paul and the team made sure I was happy all the way. Definitely would recommend Paul and the company.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! I questioned the reviews they had (I found them as I was on the phone getting my original quote). They transferred me to a salesperson who gave a spiel about the reviews being only 1% and "lowered my price" only for the price TO DOUBLE after they had my non-refundable deposit. When I asked to speak to the person who promised my pricing, they said "Oh they won't talk to you, they just want the sale". My things arrived late and damaged - I took photos of how my things were tossed in and crumpled into the truck (only attached a few, but there are more). Every chance they got, they tacked on another fee. This company is a scam, they put you into duress before each new signature because you know you've already sunk thousands into using them. This move cost me 10k, and I don't even have my stuff intact.

I used SafeShip Moving for a move from Louisiana to Texas, and Moving Solutions was the carrier that handled the job. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The movers were punctual, handled my belongings with care, and kept me informed throughout the process. There were no surprises, no damage, and the delivery was completed as expected. I would definitely use SafeShip and Moving Solutions again.

Seriously the sales agent was very rude. Told me not to raise my voice (when I wasn't even speaking loudly, just was saying hear me out). And told me I was head of the house and my wife was not. Who talks like that. I really wanted to use profanity, but am holding my horses to inform people that the sales agent they are using are aggressive and rude.

Me and my partner have been living in Cali for a long time and to move for retirement to Arizona. My friend recommended Safeship and I called them. They gave me reasonable price and sent professional movers from Rushmore van lines, who packed and moved everything super quick, appreciate these useful hardworking guys.

Safe Ship set me up with Wayflowers moving and storage out of Charlotte. Ivegen, Angelo, and Jordan were great. They showed up in their window, beat their estimated arrival time, and worked hard to finish the job. I’m writing this review as they finish packing, so I’m unsure if it will all make it in one piece, but they seemed to show care while handling my household goods. They were polite and courteous. I have no issues with them, and if my stuff arrives unbroken, I definitely would use them again.

I would highly recommend Safe Ship. The movers were professional and friendly. They were able to troubleshoot problems that came up! For example we have a CNC machine and it’s about 1200 pounds and they figured out how to transport it. Al and Chris were amazing leaders and Jake ** reached out and was a great contact. Great job!

Updated on 03/25/2026: This is an amendment to a previous review. I reviewed Safe Ship in Dec., 2025 to share the horrible experience I received from their consigned carrier Fabri Express. Safe Ship themselves were great to deal with. In March, I amended my review, because Ashley from Safe Ship reached out to address my complaint further, which was appreciated. I'm amending my review again. Ashley has continually been in contact with me to share her concerns and conversations with the carrier. She has negotiated an additional settlement for me in the method of payment I preferred. I honestly hope they discontinue using the carrier I was assigned. However, the follow up and customer care I was provided by Ashley and Safe Ship warrants the increase in their review.

Really great deal. We are moving from Texas to South Carolina and they were the cheapest and best option around. Definitely recommend. They were able to schedule us 4 days out and provided very friendly service. They are a veteran ran business and are the best option military or not.

Safe Ship Moving & Storage did a great job finding my moving company, Safe Ship Moving Services. Any questions I had I would just call and they answered right away. They were there 7 days a week and were always very happy and helpful to answer my questions. I needed a service to pack and take already packed boxes. They set me up with Paul of Century Moving Services. I would recommend them to friends & family.

I asked them a lot of questions and they asked us a lot of questions. We thought that we covered everything. Later, we were told that my daughter’s move was subcontracted to another company. The day of the move was when the nightmare really began. The moving company reported to my daughter’s apartment hours and I mean hours late. They were rude and disrespectful. No disrespect, but they spoke the entire time in a different language. They tried to increase the estimate at the time of pick up. That should have been a RED FLAG. She had two days before her move out date. So, we could not hire anyone else in two days. This was the worst move that we have ever experience. I refuse to believe that anyone would give this company anything above a negative zero star. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I would not recommend Safe Ship Moving Company to anyone.

Everything seemed great initially. Even got a discount so that I would book with them right away and put down a deposit. Then four days later, they called to do a very thorough inventory, which then doubled the cost of my move. I live in a small two-bedroom apartment. I was very transparent to begin with with what I had to move. So once it doubled. I would have to forfeit my deposit because you can only get a refund after three days.

Move was fantastic smooth as they promised when I booked with them. I strongly recommend Safe Ship for your next move. Alex and his crew do an amazing job. They pack everything with care and focusing in service.

Benyamin ** and his crew are the most professional, courteous, and hardworking people I have ever worked with in my many moving experiences. I was especially impressed with the speed with which they loaded and unloaded. I am an avid sportsman, and had a large number of bins, duffels, and tool boxes to move. They spirited them all out of the garage like magic, and did not even flinch when rolling my gigantic rollaway tool chest down a 12-degree slope into the new garage.

Safeship is a great company. Lewis is the best. He helped me so much. And Paul and his workers were outstanding, they helped me so well, they came early and wasted no time, they got the job done. Overall SafeShip was a great company to work with. They communicated the price, timeline, and expectations well and frequently. The actual movers, Tamir and Gene, were phenomenal to work with and speedily packed our boxes and furniture into the truck. They showed up early and were efficient. What began as a very thorough informative discussion with all parties, ended badly because the broker, Zachary **, who did work very diligently lost patience with me because I did not respond immediately to his high pressure sales by securing a deposit. I explained that my husband had to be involved in the final process and that he wasn’t home at the moment and I needed an hour. He called back right away with another sales tactic. I expressed my concern again more firmly and he got upset.

These guys were on time, courteous, professional, friendly and efficient. The care they took packing up my heirlooms made me feel completely confident that my treasures would travel safely. These guys took the stress right out of my move.

I used Safe Ship Moving to move my belongings from Az to GA. They were always in contact with me with details on dates, numbers of boxes, inventory etc. I feel like I made a dozen new friends. They were so personable and truly cared about my things. They wrapped everything in blankets and plastic wrap and were in and out in no time at all! A great company to work with!

I don’t usually write these things on the phone but I just had to say something. The two young men from Rushmore moving company were just WONDERFUL, very polite and patient with me. They carried all my heavy things like it was nothing and were so careful, not a scratch on my furniture or the walls. They kept asking “Is this ok ma’am? Do you want this here?” and didn’t rush me even when I changed my mind a few times 😊. At my age that kind of kindness means a lot. God bless them, I would call this company again in a heartbeat.
