I just graduated college and decided to move across the country to fulfill my dream job and I needed professionals to help. I called Safe Ship and they were able to get me an amazing price and understood that I am a college student with very little money. They arranged everything for me and when the movers arrived they packed my furniture very well and safe ship followed up throughout the whole process.

October just started and it's already getting too cold for me. Every morning when I wake, I have pain in my knees, I don't even wake up naturally anymore, I just am awaken every few hours from the pain that the cold weather puts on my joints, even sleeping with the heat on, my joints still hurt. I'm leaving the cold and these dumb liberals for the sunshine state. It's way too cold for an old man like myself to do any moving myself and it's already like 54 degrees outside so I'm paying someone else to do it. I went to Google and did a search on long distance moving services and I discovered this company Safe Ship moving. I noticed they are located near the city that I am relocating to so I decided to book with them. I told myself that I have any issue with the company that I will just go there myself and confront them. Thankfully I didnt have any issue, the service they provide is costly but it's worth it. No stress and no lifting is good enough for me.

I booked a last minute move with them. Literally booked with them 2 days before I was supposed to move. The movers said they would come at 8 am and they came at 11. They fully loaded their truck in under 2 hours, and they dropped all my stuff at my new place 3 days later. I was so nervous. If they didn't come on the day we agreed upon I would have been forced to throw out all of my possessions. None of my furniture was damaged, a box or two was slightly deformed but that is almost expected moving stuff over multiple states. The contents of the boxes were completely unharmed.

When the moving company came my bill was $5,513. The broker Safe Ship had already taken their cut off the top. This is a company that is supposed to know the business of moving. They do this everyday. I move once in a lifetime. I depended on this company. They lied to me and underestimated my moving needs. I had to come up with $2, 045 instead of the $706 initially quoted. The moving company they brokered to move me tells me I need to take it up with Safe Ship and Safe Ship is telling me to take it up with Home and Office Movers out of Maryland. I was duped and lied to. Please you do not need these two companies. Do your fue diligence. Safe Ship is a C rated company by the Better Business Bureau. Run from both these companies. And there is no customer service- you find that out afterwards.

DO NOT USE THEM!!! I am beyond furious at Safe Ship. Recently the movers came at 7:30pm (1.5 hours later than agreed upon) and they did not leave until 2am. I have 3 children that this move disrupted in a very harmful way. What upsets me the most right now is that they quoted me 768 cubic feet for all of my things and it was only HALF of what I needed to move. I was only able to get the movers to take the big furniture and even that was 200 cubic feet more than what they quoted me for everything that I told them that needed to be moved.
Now I have to make arrangements at the very last minute for everything else that needs to be moved. Not to mention that this is going to cost me about $1,000 more than I was told. I understand if I needed a little more room and they still took everything but I was over and they only took half of what I needed to be taken. Even the driver looked at the list and told me that the estimate was way off. I was very honest and very precise in what I said I needed to move. Especially with QA.
Safe Ship is horrible at estimations. They claim to be a veteran owned organization but I seriously doubt that. Safe Ship stabbed me in the back and hurt my children. And they caused me to spend thousands of more dollars than any of their estimations. I also had to get additional storage and hire another mover to help that will drive up my moving costs even higher. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

My family recently moved from DC back to Michigan, and we used Safe Ship Moving. We have moved every three years for the past 20 years and this was one of the best moving experiences we have ever had. We worked with Kevin, and he was very responsive and did a great job. Our packers in both Michigan and Washington were great. They were very professional and worked hard. All of our stuff was very well packed and we did not have any damages when we arrived in Kalamazoo. They even did a great job with my coveted Blackstone Grill. Our driver, Santiago, was fantastic. He was very friendly and did a great job keeping everything organized. I highly recommend Safe Ship and JG Trans.

Our recent move with Safe Ship was excellent! Our driver arrived at exactly the time promised at packing as well as delivery. He brought two very strong helpers with him. All of the movers were helpful, caring, efficient and strong! Our load arrived in great condition; with everything placed as requested. We discovered that our driver, Brian, had actually moved us to the location we were leaving, making us his first repeat customers! Should we have to move again (I pray, NOT!) we would definitely request Safe Ship, Geo van lines and Brian.

My entire experience from Anthony, the salesperson, to Gary and Jeron, the men who moved me, was just the most pleasurable experience that one could hope for while going through such a stressful transition. They were consistently pleasant despite some very challenging logistics and weather conditions, as well as totally professional and respectful of me, the two properties and my belongings. The men worked so hard and the price was also quite reasonable, considering all things they had to go through - heavy rain, mud and ice and shuttling my stuff in smaller trucks to the tractor trailers that were too large to come to either house. They basically had to move everything twice on both ends of the move! What a bear of a job! I hope I never have to move again but, if I do, I would try to secure the same company and certainly these same men. In the extremely rare event that I have to move again.

I engaged with SS in February to have my things, which were already packed in storage in Houston, moved to my new home in Alabama. The things would be picked up and placed in a cheaper, moving storage container until my requested delivery date of June 4. The mover showed up late, I had to pay an additional month's storage. This is when I found out that Safe Ship is actually a broker, and had contracted with a third party mover. The mover, D&H Express is based in St Louis, MO. No operations in TX or AL. The mover required me to pay half of the outstanding balance in CASH and refused to pick up my items unless I did this. THough this seemed odd, I went ahead and paid in cash through Cash App, and my things were picked up. I did NOT receive a BOL or updated charges upon pickup.
I called the mover and requested delivery on June 4. I was moved in to my new apartment and needed my bed. The mover never showed. I called SS, they stated the mover had 7-10 business days, so I reluctantly waited. Time came and went, still no furniture. My child and I were sleeping on the floor. It made no sense to buy replacements as we are in an apartment, and I have no room to have double of every thing. I began calling more frequently and every time, there was a new story: truck broke down, the office is in California and they aren't at work yet (how...they are in ST Louis!), truck broke down again, someone else is getting delivered before me...). According to the contract, the mover had UP to 30 business days, per DOT. Thirty business days came and went, and then 60, and then 90.
Finally, the mover scheduled a delivery time and demanded not only the last half of the contracted amount, but an additional 3,000 dollars! He refused to deliver and tried to shake me down over the phone threatening to leave with my things. By this time, I'd had to replace at least a bed for my child, and some household basics just to function. All of my memories, my furniture, my son's and my clothes, his toys...all were in storage and this man was holding them and extorting me for more money. I'd called so many times to SS, and no one helped. They would "call" the mover, and that was it. I spoke to the manager, Max, and while he pretended to be angry with the mover, he promised "hand to God" to call me back and never did.
Actually, they have promised to call me back no fewer than 13 times over the past now 4 and a half months, and have yet to do so. The movers left because I refused to pay over the contract, and I was forced to call the police. The mover, David, verbally assaulted me, saying I had a smart mouth. The officer filed a police report and offered to be a witness when I take David to court. He still has about 1/3 of my items, including a piano that I've already paid 1500 additional for delivery. I've refused to speak with David on the phone because of the incessant mistruths. He stated to the officer that he would deliver the rest of my things in two weeks and not extort me for more money, but that was 6 weeks ago, and last I heard from him, he wants another 3500 dollars. Mind, he has yet to compensate me for being in breech of contract by 130 days now.
Safe Ship has done absolutely nothing to address their culpability in this matter, not returning my phone calls, or even answering them. I would not have been linked with D&H Express had Safe Ship not facilitated the relationship, so in my mind, there is major culpability here and the least they can do is work with me to get some of my money and personal items back. Of note, D&H is clearly not a reputable company, a simple google search review will tell you this. The owner, David, has an MO of holding items hostage and extorting the owners for thousands of dollars over the initial quote. Not to mention the damage to various furniture items, including leaving a white velvet couch in the middle of the parking lot in the rain, and trash all around where the Enterprise delivery van was parked.
Moving is stressful. In my case, it would have been far easier and less stressful had I moved everything by myself. When I've moved in the past with Atlas, the movers and driver were exceedingly professional and helpful. When looking for moving services, do yourself a favor and skip Safe Ship. It's now October 18, and I still don't have any of my things and they have exactly nothing to help me get them, or to compensate me so I can replace the items that I've not received.

It's that time of the year for me, again. I work as a contractor and I usually only work for a company for 3-9 months. My latest contract has ended so after living in the peach state for 10 months, I am relocating to the lone star state. I booked with Safe Ship Moving and didn't read the contract, my fault. So I was very surprised when the moving company that was found for me asked for extra money upon arrival. They stated that it was in the contract that I signed with safe ship. I read the contract and totally missed that the carrier charged a separate fee due upon arrival. My mistake. A career contractor not reading a contract upfront lmfao. After I realized my mistake I gave the moving company their portion of the fee and then they loaded my stuff. I was given a delivery date of 1-4 days and my truck arrived 4 days later. I am giving them 5 stars because they delivered my possessions within the 5 days delivery window that they provided for me.

I paid Safe Ship Moving $7000 to move my belongings from California to Florida. They transferred the contract to a moving company in California that was unlicensed. That company delivered 37 of my 72 boxes and told me to file a claim. To file, you need to list each item, its original and replacement cost, weight but you cannot save the file. Safe Ship told me that they were sorry. None of 10 attorneys have responded to my 1-page summary of the disaster. Are you moving? Rent a moving truck and move your stuff yourself! I wish I had!

Safe Ship Moving group did a pretty good job helping my family with our relocation. They aren't an actual moving company just a broker lol. But they secured us with a good moving company to help us. Living in North Jersey there's 100s of companies between us and NYC. So I had to contract them to find an actual moving company to facilitate our move. We are moving back to Georgia, I'm so sick of these darn liberals. I decided to work with them because they are veteran owned and my father and uncle are vets. I'm posting this review on my vacation. Just wanted them to give them a quick shoutout.

Man I gotta move again. I hate living Florida, everywhere I go has roaches. Everyone litters everywhere. This state is so dirty. Only thing good thing about this state is the weather. I'm going back to the north. I really am sick of moving, and I don't have the energy to do the work by myself. So I after some late night searches I happen to come into contact with a shipping broker. Don't remember exactly how I found them. I found this company called Safe Ship Moving services. I received a call from them around 10 am and the sales rep explained to me the packing and shipping services they have to offer.
Once they mentioned how they can have a moving company pack all of my items, I couldn't hesitate. I went for their full pack and ship package. After we discussed pricing, I booked with them. A week before my move they called me to double check the stuff that I own. Then they told me about the moving company they assigned to me. They gave me a 2 day pickup window.
The moving company (atlas van lines) came on the second day. which is good because I was exhausted the first pickup day from packing all of my aunt's trinkets and glasswares. The moving team came and packed my 2 bedroom home in a hour and a half. I barely had time to take a nap, but I definitely napped on the floor and used my jacket as a pilow after they left. 4 days later they dropped my stuff off at my new place. Edgar and Horatio were very friendly.

It's too cold out here in Montana. I can't do another winter out here. So I am moving to the Golden State. I wanted to rent a dumpster and just throw everything out but unfortunately everyone in my family is a hoarder. I thought moving to another state would give us a chance to consolidate all of our crap. but the wife wants to keep everything so I told her that if she wants to keep all this stuff that she has to pay for a moving company and she agreed, I was not expecting that, at all, smh. So I discovered this company through a Bing search called safe ship moving.
I told them my situation and they told me how they were able to send all my stuff across country. They even mentioned how they can have a moving company come to my house and help me organize and pack all of my items. The moving company they assigned to us brought their own packing materials; boxes, padded blankets, and even had special boxes for my tv and beds. and honestly I was surprised they were able to my 4 bedroom house as fast as they did. My family received our stuff 4 days later. I assumed that they would take longer but they arrived at 2-ish pm. We purchased a ranch so it didn't take as long to unload my stuff compared to our old 3 story house. I'm getting old and don't want to deal with steps anymore.

This is my first time moving as an adult and without the help of my parents. I didn't understand the process of long distance moving. I originally hired a local moving company, but the company cancelled on me when the weather channel announced a blizzard that will be heading to my area within the next week. So after the cancellation, I decided to hire a moving broker, to do the planning and moving for me. The broker I used is called Safe Ship Moving. They found a moving company for me in 3 days that actually showed up lol. They suggested that they come and pack my house the night before the storm. They came to my place around 6:30 and had all of my stuff loaded onto their truck by 9 pm. They left with my stuff and I received my belongings in Las Vegas 3 days later. No more stormy weather for me, I hope!

I don't want to move, I'm way too lazy to move. I made a checklist of stuff I need to do to start the next chapter of my life. Everyone in my neighborhood got eminent domain. So I'm forced to leave asap. I quickly realized that I don't want to go through the effort to buy boxes, decide want to keep or throw away. Find somewhere to dispose of my bigger items like furniture. Then properly pack my items together. I started to just throw items in the local dumpster but my HOA fined me.
So I started throwing my stuff at the dumpster behind McDonald's, I got caught doing that after the 3rd time. So I was really confused about what to do with all this crap that I horded. I did some research to try and find people who would come and dispose of my stuff. I found a company that would park a dumpster outside my house but that costs thousands and my hoa wouldn't allow it. So the only option my hoa would allow is for me to find a professional moving service to transport my goods.
So I went to reviewmovers.com and I gave them my information. 2 days later I was contacted by a shipping company called Safe Ship Moving. I told them my issues how I am being forced to move and how I don't want to do any of the work myself. So the first representative that I spoke to, Zach, explained to me that they can find a local moving company to come to my house and wrap and pack all of my possessions. I told them how I wanted to move to another state, and they said they could still help me. Which I was ecstatic to hear, until I heard the costs but considering how lazy I am and the fact that I can actually afford the service. I did not hesitate and I booked with Safe Ship.
When I agreed I was transferred to another rep that told me I had to do a quality assurance call so they could try to figure out how much cubic feet I would need to ensure that all of my items would fit on a moving truck. After that call was finished I was transferred to another person where I would secure payment to they and sign the contract. About 4 days before my move I received a call from Safe Ship about the moving team that would be assisting me (ABC Moving). The crew from abc moving was very helpful. Edgar, and Francois were so nice and they took extra care of my items and packed my items quickly. By watching them you could tell that they had a great amount of experience in their line of work.
When Edgar and Francois arrived at my new place, they asked for the second portion of payment as stated in the contract that I originally signed with Safe Ship. Initially I was very hesitant about booking with Safe Ship because of the reviews that I noticed and I did read about 9 of them. But When I looked at the reviews of other moving companies and I noticed that they had the same amount of bad reviews or considerably more. As the saying goes sometimes "** happens" and luckily that didn't happen to me. Everything went pretty well.

I am no stranger to moving. With my husband's job we have had to move numerous times. We have had both great and abysmal experiences with moving companies. Safe Ship was definitely one of the companies that would have a good moving experience with. Our pickup was delayed which was slightly frustrated, but their customer service department reached out and explained how the pickup will be delayed by 1 day because of mechanical issues with the truck. The last company we tried to move with, we had to call them 4-5 times a day to see when the truck was coming and if it even was coming at all.
The previous company we moved with picked up our stuff 8 days later, and we received it 24 days after pickup. So after dealing with that ** experience, dealing with safe ship is like having a fresh breath of air. Other than the slight hiccup in the beginning everything else went smoothly. Movers were professional and were able to get everything done and shipped to my place with no stall.

Just finished a brief weekend vacation to Ohio. I went to a music festival, and I was only gone for five days, and when I came home I found a for sale sign on my lawn. My landlord didn't even have the decency to tell me that I have to find a new place to live. Which sucks because I love to procrastinate so I waited until I had only 9 days left to leave to try and find a moving company. I debated about just throwing out all of my property and buying everything brand new. That's not really cost effective especially since inflation has a lot of household items costing way more than I remember. I was reluctant to find a company to pack and send all my stuff to my new location. I did not think a service like this even existed. After spending too much time I finally found a moving company or a broker as they call themselves. I wound up booking with this shipping broker company called Safe Ship Moving Services.
So after contacting this company they explained to me what they had to offer. After I secured the services that I wanted. I talked to another person and we spent over an hour talking about every single item I wanted to bring with me, it was kind of a drag. But they definitely took the time to make sure everything went smoothly. I thought their payment process was odd but it makes sense now. You pay safe ship a fee upfront and then you pay the second payment when the movers arrive at your house. So the moving company they found for me came to my house on the day we agreed upon, they showed up 1.5 hours after they said they would. They packed up my ranch in less than 4 hours and they went on their way.
3 Days later, the moving company showed up with their truck and my belongings. A few boxes suffered some damage on the outside but nothing was broken on the inside. Overall my experience with the original company Safe Ship was very good. And the moving company they provided for me, Western van lines, was helpful as well.

I had an absolutely horrible experience working with Safe Ship. First of all, when we were given the estimate, they did not tell us that they were a moving BROKER and not the one doing the move. After booking, a random moving company that we knew nothing about (Primavera Movers) showed up to our home. It started with the company increasing our original estimate by $2,000 AFTER loading all of our belongings on the moving truck which is against the law. They then went on to try to scam us out of $600+ dollars for "extra material" costs that we did not approve or agree to.
I spent 3 hrs on the phone with them and the moving broker just for them to take only $300 off and say they would work on the rest which they never did. We were given a delivery estimate of 1 to 10 business days and they showed up over a month later (26 business days). We called them numerous times and they wouldn't even answer the phone. No one would speak to us. And when I would email them, they would only give a generic response about a 21 business day time limit that they have per the law, but then proceeded to take even longer than that. I sat in an empty home for over 1 month.
Safe Ship did nothing to help this situation. In fact, every customer service representative was very rude and acted as if I was bothering them when I called to see how I could get my belongings. One person in particular, Rachel, who is supposed to be the manager told me that she could tell the movers to use delivery people who would break my things if that would make me happy and if I didn't want that then I should just stop calling to ask them where my belongings were. After a month of going through this we spoke with a higher up manager named Max who seemed to be angry at the situation at first, but then just stopped answering our calls or helping us in any way. This was one of the most stressful situations I've ever had to deal with. Please BEWARE and don't do the same.

I contracted with Safe Ship to move my goods across the country. I gave them an exact estimate of the size of the load because it was in a POD and therefore could be measured exactly. When the truck came to pick up the load he required an additional $1700 on top of the original estimate of $2600. I was given no option so I either paid or they wouldn't move my goods. I spoke with a supervisor at Safe Ship, Jessica, who told me repeatedly over a period of two weeks that the shipper would call me to try and mitigate this. That never happened. This company is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau. They are a brokerage company that charges an excessive amount for "arranging your move for you". The employees have no authority to make decisions or impact the outcome of issues you have during the move. You are NEVER given a single point of contact in the process so you are forced to call and reexplain the issue you are having to multiple people. We asked to talk to a supervisor and were told they would "generate a ticket" and that the supervisor would get back to us. It never happened and further talks with the employee's resulted in them saying flat out we couldn't talk to the supervisor.
They refuse to take any responsibility for helping when the company they contracted the work out to turns out to be be a legitimate scam and legal intervention is required to get your things back. This company is "owned" by Vellar Holdings and the manager on the State of Florida business website is Stanley **. Find a legitimate moving company!!

I contracted Safe Ship Moving services to handle my family's move across the United States from Washington to Virginia this year. This company gave me a reasonable quote, and they sounded like a reputable company. However, this company misled led us about their company's practices, and about the overall cost at every step.
The initial quote I got was slightly cheaper than a competing offer, so we decided to move forward with it. I was told that a few days before the move, a QA rep would be reaching out to get a finalized list. When the QA person called, the quote jumped up by a significant margin. The QA person kept leaving items off the list every time he made a change too (which should have been a sign of how deceitful they are). I had provided a detailed inventory list of every box, including the dimensions, but they kept moving those to their form and leaving items off.
In the end, we had an estimate of around 900 cf, based on the QA's calculations. Fast forward to the day of the move. The movers arrive, and tell us that we will have to pay an additional $1200 above what we had the money order ready for to get all of our items shipped. We were told that our stuff would take more space than the estimate (again despite spending hours on the phone with the Sales guy and the QA guy with our detailed list).
When I had spoken to the Sales rep for Safe Ship about this, as it has been mentioned in other reviews, he told me that if they tried to increase the price the day of the move to call him and they would fix it. I called Safe Ship, and they said there is nothing they could do. We ended up having to leave a number of items behind as a result. We were told that our stuff would arrive within 14-21 business days of pickup. Our items were picked up on June 8th, but did not arrive until July 18th, This was 27 business days, which is much longer than we were told.
When we finally got a call saying our stuff was about to be delivered, the moving company dropped another surprise. They said that there would be a $1500 shuttle fee to deliver to our home, because our house couldn't accommodate a large truck. Our street can accommodate a large vehicle, which we communicated to the moving company, but they refused to bring the truck. In the end we settled on a $1000 fee to deliver, which again was NOT communicated by Safe ship at the time of our contracting them for this move. When we contracted safe ship, we were assured that the movers would put our items in whatever room we needed them to go. When they actually arrived, we were told that they generally just drop everything in one room. They moved items into one part of our house, but didn't move anything upstairs for us.
We were also told that our items would be insured up to $10,000, and if there was any problems, we'd be taken care of. However, our flat screen TV was destroyed when it was delivered, and when we reached out to start a claim, we're being told that they will only cover a cost by weight. Nearly everything I was told by their sales person ended up being incorrect, and I felt utterly deceived by this company. The price increased over and over again, and their customer service was not helpful in any way. Do not do business with these guys. They are the worst company I've dealt with.

All of my items were packed securely, using the best materials. Not one single item arrived damaged, not even one little scratch. This company farms out your moving job to the worst movers, if you can call them that. They showed two days early and were upset that my cashiers checks were made out to Safe Ship, not them. They insisted that I go to the bank to change them. Never mind that it Sunday, July 3. The contract promises up to eleven days for a move less than 1000 miles. It is day 33, and I am still waiting for my belongings. Safe Ship can’t do anything since they contracted out the job. I’m sure they are a fine company, but the people they work with aren’t!! If I had it to do over, I would have used a covered wagon. It would arrive sooner than Pro Movers Inc. I would not use Safe Ship if my life depended on it!!!!

I recently moved home from Bristol, Tennessee to Odessa, Texas. I have lived in six countries, and of the many house moves I've made, the move with Safe Ship stands out as the smoothest and most professional. Anna was always reachable and helpful with my queries. Mark and his team are cheerful and very friendly people. Mark has more than 10 years of experience in the moving business and has provided his team with proper training: all of my furniture was carefully wrapped, and there have been no damages to my household. The team arrived on time and finished collecting my household in about 2.5 hours. They also accommodated my request to have a few boxes delivered to a separate address. Moreover, their quote was very reasonable. Overall, I warmly recommend their services.

They did not call to say no one would be showing or ANYTHING. Each time we had to reach out to find out no one was coming. We received every excuse in the book from their truck broke own, to the company they contracted had vehicle issues and could no longer complete the move.
The move was scheduled ONE MONTH in advance, and this ALL occurred on the DAY of our 2 day move window. I would stay FAR away from using this company. A colleague of mine recommended Safe Ship to me. I have been planning to move for a few months now. I was just waiting for my children to finish school and have a few weeks to enjoy with their friends before we relocate to another state. This is my first time my family will be moving to another state, and we all know how difficult that can be. I have moved numerous times before but only to other cities within the same county that I have grew up in. This is my first time moving as a family to another state.
This move is for a 3 bedroom home, and I chose the full pack service, and the main reason I chose this because my kids wouldn't be able to efficiently pack a box let alone to able to properly wrap items, and I don't want them anywhere a knife. So I decided to contact safe ship moving to find us moving company to fit my family's needs. Safe Ships communication throughout our move was perfect. Their customer service department gave me tips to make moving into my new life easier and they were always available to answer my questions. The moving company found for us came to our house and disassembled all of our belongings. They disassembled our bed frame, tv stand, kitchen tables, and our chairs. They bubble wrapped all of our furniture, and valuables. After they packed my stuff up, they were on their way. 6 days later all of my stuff arrived to my new property and best of all Nothing was damaged in transit.

I have cleaned out a lot of items as well as sold some The initial quote was for $9,600 which was a couple of thousand less than other companies. I was worried as I had heard about scams online but thought these folks were better. Ha, now just a couple of days away from my move next week we went over the list and the price went from 9,600 to 21,000 over double. I had saved what I thought would be needed plus about 3,000 extra but not over double more. I am stuck as the deposit was non-refundable.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you are moving use a company that actually comes to your house. These people scam you and take you for all they can get and you have no choice due to the deposit is non-refundable. I am in tears since all I have is one social security check and a small amount of savings which now will be used for the extra cost.

This month should have been the most stressful time of the year for me, not because we have to relocate and move to another state but we have to do it during this hot summer which is also peak moving season. Deciding to use a moving company in hindsight was the best decision my family could have made. I was skeptical at first because of a random story I read online. Safe Ship Moving Services helped us transition our livelihood into another state with great ease. The representative that helped us, Kevin, is very personable and patient. He slowly explained all the services that the company has to offer. He answered all of our questions, made sure that we did not exceed our budget, and relaxed every concern that I had with making this decision.
The moving crew came on time, they wrapped and packed up all of my items, quickly moving one room at a time. They arrived with all the moving equipment and materials ready. The workers communicated with each other, how fragile items should be wrapped and placed on the boxes and then on the truck. The workers made sure that we were all on the same page on how we wanted my property handled with. It only took 5 days to move a full household full of items from Maine to North Carolina.

WARNING - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, Repeat – DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THIS WAS NOTHING LESS THAN A GAME OF BAIT AND SWITCH. I was intentionally swayed and swindled into an agreement based on an estimate that was purposely and grossly underestimated with the sole purpose of baiting me into an agreement with Safe Ship full knowing that the movers who they outsourced my move would calc it at a much higher rate. Every single item that was stated in my agreement with Safe Ship was a lie.
On June 8th, I spoke with Derek ** with Safe Ship. When calculating the cubic feet for my inventory, I was very specific and clear as to the sizes of the furniture and boxes being transported. I gave Derek dimensions of the furniture pieces and described some of the pieces as ‘bulky’ thinking this would make a difference in the calculation. The final estimate that he presented to me and that I agreed to was $3269.61 – ‘out the door’ has Derek phrased it. On three different occasions, I questioned his estimated of 420 cf. He repeatedly reassured me the cf estimate was more than sufficient. He also told me that he would ‘be with me from beginning to the end’ which turned out to be a lie as well.
I also questioned him about storage given that I don’t have a permanent address in Tucson. He quoted me a monthly rate of $205 per month which is based on his 420 cf - $.50 /cf. Luxury Van Lines is charging me $.80 cf to the tune of over $700 per month. At the end of the day, after the movers picked up my inventory, my cost went from $3269 to $6549.
I believe wholeheartedly that I was intentionally swayed and swindled into an agreement based on an estimate that was purposely and grossly underestimated with the sole purpose of baiting me into an agreement with Safe Ship full knowing that the moving company that was outsourced (Luxury Van Lines) would certainly calc it at a much higher rate. It was nothing more than a game of bait and switch! Derek ** should be ashamed of himself misrepresenting your company and being so negligent at the cost of your client. But, the business practices of Safe Ship are just as neglectful. If you value your time and $$$, run the other way!

Everyone that we dealt with from the representative (Brendon) from Safe Ship to the foreman's and moving crew, were very courteous, careful, and punctual with dealing with my families possessions. At first I was very skeptical reading some of the bad reviews posted online. I read about moving scams and I was terrified to trust someone with our families antiques and heirlooms. I spent about 2 weeks before I decided to go against the grain and contact a moving company and it worked out spectacular.
The moving crew arrived in the afternoon right after lunchtime and it took them less than 3 hours to completely and safely pack all of contents in the household and load the boxes into their truck. I double checked all my fine china, like plates and silverware, there was 0 scratches and no chipped portions on any of my other antiques. Safe Ship promised me a guaranteed delivery date and time, and all of my items were delivered on time. I received all of my items in one delivery in less than one week, they said I should receive everything in 5 business days and it came in 4 regular days. This company definitely surpassed my expectations.

Deciding to go with a moving company was definitely the best decision for me. It was a little pricier than I thought doing it. Between the packing and wrapping of the items, loading and unloading the truck, delivery of my stuff and current gas prices, the price I was charged actually seems reasonable. Our family just moved out of the only home we have ever lived in, so making the decision to book with any shipping company, was a hard decision for us. At first we couldn't fathom having anyone aside from a family member touching and handling our stuff.
The moving company arrived at my house at the exact time we agreed upon down to the minute. We obtained the full service package. The foreman was very personable, and told us that him and his crew doesn't mind if our family watches them pack up our stuff. If you can't tell yet we are very protective of our property. He knew that we would be the type of family to be overprotective of our stuff so that was a relief. They arrived with all the moving equipment and materials needed. Then we sat and watched them wrap up every item in every room, and after that they placed all the items in the boxes and loaded in the truck. They moved our 4 bedroom house in less than 5 hours. It was well worth the price for the quickness and efficiency of the services provided.

This is a brokerage company; they hire the movers. Hired them to move my deceased mother's estate out of state. First Rep could have talked fish into drinking water. I had received my first estimate & decided to add some items & was given a second estimate. When the QA department called to go over the estimate with my sister it increased by $180. Different Rep stated it was because it was not noted as a "Premium Package," however, the entire conversation we discussed this "premium package."
Week before the moving company is set to come, another QA person calls to go over the estimates again & we go through pics of the items online via the Real Estate website (please note, original Rep said he could obtain estimates by just viewing the website). However, I did text pics of the house & maintenance shop & was told another Rep would return my call. This Rep stated the estimates were way off after going through the pics with him...approx. $5300 to $140000. I informed them I was not going to pay the $14000 & this was their error & to fix it. I referenced their motto on their website, "We’re a family run business with family values.," and was informed the Owner was a Veteran & would not allow this type of treatment of a customer. I was informed the Owner was on the phone at some point, but this person never chimed in or apologized.
After threatening to sue their company & blast them on social media, I received a call back from the original Rep & still received an estimate of approximately $7000. I was stuck & had to go with them. Moving day, movers show up (will post about about them as well), but state they are not going to move everything due to the square footage estimate. They pack the house, not the shop, load items into the truck & unload them back into the house after being asked how & what they expected to get paid. Movers walked away leaving us stranded with 3 days to move ourselves. Luckily U-Pack was available. I have not received my deposit refund of approx. $2300 & no response from brokerage company.

I understood that things weren't going to be exact but what I did not expect was what I got! I gave them a DETAILED ITEMIZED list of everything that was being shipped. Then AFTER the quote and paying the deposit I downsized almost an entire move but I didn't say anything because I figured if I kept the rare where it was it was likely to be more accurate taking into consideration their pricing would not be exact. Then the day of the move comes and the movers RAISED the cost $1600!!! Nearly doubling the cubic feet that was quoted and then stated that Safe Ship didn't know how to quote cubic feet.
Now it's been over 2 weeks from my move date, a week from the scheduled delivery date and when I try to call the actual movers the number is not in service and when I call Safe Ship I am told it can take up to 14 business days from the original delivery date and to just sit on my thumbs and wait. The jury is still out on if I will even get all my stuff! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE THEM!! I never leave reviews but this has been the absolute worst experience ever!!

My family any I are moving from N.J. to Tennessee, if this isn't stressful enough. We thought we would try to hire a moving company to take at least one stressful parts of this move off out shoulders. The reason we went with this company is that they are or portray to be a Veteran owned company. Since I am a Veteran also we decided to go with their company. Thinking that the company would be of military mind and structure. Boy were we wrong, let's get into the down and dirty. All this company is, is a company that gives you a ** estimate. They then send the business that you think you are getting with them to a broker and you are out of their hands.
They pretend that they are there for you, but since they subcontracted it out to they have no say on what happens from there. Our price from Safe Ship was 12,333$. In the process to get this estimate I gave them a detailed list with measurements not to include clothes and smaller items. We also did a video walk-through. So at this time my wife and I felt we were in good hands we signed the contract. NOPE! The move was supposed to be the 25-26 of June. The company they subcontracted to called us the day before and asked if they could come Sunday to pack and Monday to load and drive from there straight to TN, unloading Tuesday.
So Sunday 7 non-English speaking people show up to house 2 kids under 18 around 12 and 14 of age and a grandmother are included in that 7. They wait outside till another guy who speaks some English shows up. He comes in and says let me see what you have and we will get moving. I walk him through the house. He comes back in with paperwork and gives me a price of 25,000$. I am confused, I call Safe Ship right away. I tell them what is going on, they speak to them, at this time he is unwilling to bend. They have you and they know it, you need to move and they are there. The mover is whining to me that they drove 3 hours from Virginia. I tell him no way, you can leave.
This goes round and round between me, Safe Ship and the movers for 3 hours. Till finally I am beat. We decide to pay 19,000$. Then I find out that these workers aren't from Safe Ship or 7 star moving, they are day workers hired from Craigslist. WTF, makes you comfortable doesn't it? The whole time I'm hoping that the packers are honest and not stealing things. They work for 3-4 hours and leave. They say they will finish packing tomorrow as they load truck. Next morning they show up and are there till 7:30 pm. As the day went by they got less and less careful with things, packing was also compromised. Safe Ship at this point could care less what is going on.
They are telling me what they are taking and what they aren't. They are saying it's too late and they aren't getting paid for this. Then they just leave. There is trash everywhere. You would think 19,000 would at least get you cleaned up at the end. Again Safe Ship say there is nothing they can do. Next day the truck arrives at my house in TN. My wife and son are on that end of the move. 2 guys show up from Georgia to unload. Now keep in mind I paid for the premium pack (take things apart, pack everything and put things together and at least put boxes in correct rooms).
Again NOPE they threw everything around then as the day went by unloaded boxes in driveway and left. My son then had to at least get this stuff into garage before nightfall. Now did I mention you pay 4$ a cubic foot. My wife starts to unpack, there are boxes full of just packing paper, their trash is even packed in boxes. I'm guessing to make up room in truck. Keeping me from seeing how much room was taken up. Trying to keep it to around the cubic foot that they charged me for. A lot of things are broke. None of the hardware is with the pieces that were taken apart and things are missing. So to wrap things up, horrible service all around. Lots of lies thrown around. This Veteran must have been a real winner, if he let's this happen in his company I wouldn't want him in my military. Probably dishonorable discharged and using the Veteran card to help his business. Please people stay away, let me be your caution.

Do not book with Safe Ship Moving Company. They are brokers. They take your money and there’s no guarantees of what you’re going to get. My son just became a doctor so for his graduation gift my husband and I were paying for professional movers to move his furniture from Charleston South Carolina to Birmingham Alabama. I looked online and came across Safe Ship Moving. For the most part the reviews were pretty good with a score of 4.2 so I booked them. They said I have 48 hours to cancel so before my 48 hours expired I decided to do another search on reviews on safe ship moving.
I found lots of bad reviews so I called the company and spoke to Max to have their service canceled and get a full refund. Max assured me that it was just a few disgruntled customers, that they are a very good company blah blah blah. He was very convincing so I did not cancel them. They gave me a binding moving estimate which I signed with the move date of 5-30-2022 or 5-31-2022. Max assured me that he would work closely with customer service and would make sure that I had a reputable moving company to move my son. A few days before the move their quality assurance company called and did a very thorough and accurate inventory list. This is what they based the final total cost on and said that it would not change as long as there wasn’t any additional inventory.
The moving company did not show up as promised. After calling Safe Ship several times, they said the driver had broken down and that someone would come the next day. I received a call about 8am on June 1 from Tony at Top Quality Movers saying he was on the way. He arrived about 1 PM and looked at my son's furniture and said: "this is going to require a full truck and we only have you down for 1/2 of a truck so it’s going to be 1200 extra dollars." The inventory had not changed so Safe Ship lied again. I told him he could go back where he came from and he said no, he didn’t want to do that, that he would negotiate and only charge us an additional 600 so we didn’t really have a choice because we didn’t have a Plan B. We paid the extra 600.
Tony and Eric were excellent. They were professional and packed my son's furniture carefully and loaded it. We wanted the furniture delivered the next day. According to our contract, the only way to guarantee that was to pay expedited shipping which was $1 per mile. I was going to do that but Michelle in Customer Service said that wouldn't be necessary because 70% get there the same day and 90% get there the next day. I took her at her word but Tony said they had 7 days to deliver the furniture. That's what the contract said but I relied on the information that Customer Service gave me. My son received his furniture on June 7 which was within the 7 days.
The other 2 men were not as good as Tony and Eric. They dropped several boxes and 2 items were broken. Safe Ship told me that the furniture was insured for $10,000 but that wasn't true. They only insure it for 60 cents per pound. Safe ship moving company made lots of promises that they did not keep. They are not honest, not reliable, did not give an accurate quote. Do not book with them no matter what they say.

I strongly, strongly advise against using Safe Ship Moving. It has been the worst moving experience I've ever had. I have been lied to on numerous occasions by both the sales team, the quality assurance team, and the customer service team. Every time I have spoken to an employee from Safe Ship, I have heard different information (about price estimates, pickup information, transportation information, drop-off estimates, etc.) and the stories keep changing. Do yourself a favor and avoid this moving company. A couple of things to keep in mind before using Safe Ship:
1. The price estimate you receive during the booking process will increase dramatically, regardless of how well you are able to record your inventory ahead of time. Remember: the sales team is only trying to get you to commit to the move. Once you sign the contract, you are locked in and they can jack up the price on the day of the move. I meticulously measured and recorded every item I was shipping before receiving my estimate. In fact, by the time the day of the move came, I had actually gotten rid of a few large items on my moving inventory. Yet when the movers arrived, my total payment was increased by 30%. At that point, I really had no recourse to do anything: if I cancelled, I would lose my $1,000+ deposit and still have no mover contracted.
2. The transportation estimates you receive during the booking process, and even on the day of the move, are not going to be accurate. The sales team told me that they would get my property to my new destination within 5-14 business days, but this is *strictly* an estimate, meaning it can take much longer (up to 30 days before there are any penalties or legal issues). On the day of the move, I was asked when my "first available arrival date" would be, so I chose the earliest possible date: 5 business days. When I called in two weeks later to get a delivery update, I was told that the clock on the 5-14 business day estimate only begins after your "first available arrival date," meaning day 1 of the 30 day clock only began on the date I had listed.
3. My complaints (about the sales representative, repeated misinformation, etc.) have not been recorded. During what must have been my tenth call with customer service, I asked about a number of complaints I had filed and was told that none had been recorded. My guess is that customer service is told to simply let the customers vent but not actually send any complaints up the chain of command because management really isn't willing or able to do anything.
There have been more issues that I won't elaborate on here (I was misinformed about the pickup time, about necessary packing materials, and about the payment schedule), but suffice it to say that the move with Safe Ship has been an absolute nightmare. These moving services are a dime a dozen; go with another provider.

I will have to update when my belongings actually arrive because it has been over a month and we are still waiting on 6 boxes that were delivered incorrectly to another customer. Movers will hold you hostage on site with $200 fees if they have to walk further than 75' or up 10 steps.
We were quoted for a space that was much too small to fit our belongings and then the movers tried to syphon another $660 for our remaining items. The appeal and claim process is a nightmare. I called around and got so many different quotes for our out-of-state move. The prices ranged by thousands of dollars with no guarantee that it would not increase after they moved us to our new state. Safe Ship's was the best price, best value, and they were spot on estimating how much our belongings would take to move... all over Facetime! Price was almost exactly what I was quoted, with no surprises and the loading crew and unloading crew were great and professional. Our driver was a pleasure to work with, she was awesome. This company lacks transparency, has deceptive practices, and makes false claims. Safe Ship Moving Service is a broker, and they do not do the actual moving job. They sell the job to anyone that will take it. They sold my job to Home and Office Moving Company, and they are just as bad. My experience was HORRIBLE, a NIGHTMARE... DON'T TRUST ANYONE, ESPECIALLY DARREN (PHONE NUMBER: **).
I initially called for an estimate for a long-distance move from the east coast to the west coast. I worked with Darren, who took my detailed inventory list and provided the estimate. After, I asked for time to think about it and stated I would call back with any questions and book the services. While I was reviewing this and other estimates, Darren contacted me almost daily, which is all to appear to have good customer service and to get your money. During a follow-up call, I asked Darren and their quality assurance team to look over my inventory list because their estimate was much lower than other companies. They promised me that my estimate was correct and there wouldn't be any hidden cost.
On the day of pick up, the driver stated my inventory would not fit in the estimated space, and it would be an additional $2000. Further, they stated Safe Ship uses computer software, and the estimates are OFTEN WRONG. I called Safe Ship and Home and Office, and all they said was to work with the driver on a new price, and they would review the calls to see where the discrepancy occurred. I have called several times (and left messages), and no solution. Fast forward, I just got a call the day before my delivery and was told by the driver that I would need a shuttle service because downtown areas of big cities don't allow semi-trucks. He said the price was $728. I asked why I was not told about this, and he stated he did not know. But Safe Ship and Home and Office should have known that semi-trucks can't fit in downtown areas, and they could have advised me before now.

When I 1st called the company I spoke to Miles, he was very nice and quoted me 1,500. After a few days I needed to wait for my check to clear he told me it was so close to actual moving date it went up to $1,800. On the day of moving the 14th. the movers came in and my end price was 3,100. By this time I was like ya know what just do it, I had to leave the apartment. I packed everything myself and retapped it. I moved from NY to Coralville, IA, I was quoted 2-3 days max.
When my things arrived 6 days later only 1 kid showed up. He was the driver and the movers, I felt bad for him. Come to find out my stuff must of been put upside down even though the boxes clearly showed this side up. I had many broken items that could not be replaced, I had a lockbox that had been locked for 3 years and it was inside other boxes. I found the box open and laying on its side.. and my shelf clips were missing so I couldn't use my shelf at all. If I ever have to move again I would leave my items and not pay anyone to move them.

I obviously had no clue what that meant, so he explained to me that they have over 300 moving companies, and they lock in my rate. Once he told me that I was sold.

One of the Worst Experiences ever!!! I was quoted 1400 cubic ft by the Salesperson on the phone after a 1/2 hr. detailed video walkthrough. When the actual movers arrived with a 26ft truck that holds about 2000 cubic ft they told me I would need a second truck and it will cost an additional $6000 (originally quoted $8000) just to fill up the first truck. The second truck would be another $6500. When I contacted Safe Ship, they said it was my fault because I did not divulge everything that was being moved. **. (I actually sold a few large furniture items that were on the original quote) I said pull up the so called recorded conversation, and then they started changing their tune. (Still did nothing for me though.)
After reading numerous reviews (all who had the almost identical situation happen), it seems the brokers do this often. The movers that were sent didn't even mark anything on the boxes. I have been going through our belongings box by box (unloaded into a storage unit), labeling them myself, and finding a lot of broken things. Something needs to be done with companies like this, who prey on people and their situation. (Had no choice since the house was sold and needed to be empty that day). I will NEVER EVER recommend this company and will continue to tell and warn anyone who will listen about our experience.

My husband and I used Safe Ship Moving to arrange our move from CT to CO. Up until pickup, they were a fantastic company to work with. On the day of pickup, we found out Safe Ship Moving, who contracted with Family Van Lines and/or VSNY Moving to complete our move (I say and/or because the movers had paperwork with both companies and addresses listed, and I’m unsure which was actually the company they worked for; perhaps they are related?). The drivers showed up to our house, where my husband greeted them and explicitly told them how to park. They proceeded to ignore his instruction, and proceeded to get themselves stuck in our front lawn, where they proceeded to tear up our grass and create giant ruts in the lawn.
My husband, still outside with the two movers, proceeded to overhear one of them on the phone with their supervisor saying that our move “wasn’t worth their time and that it was **”. They said we “did not have the cubic feet promised”, despite the fact we have precisely what is on the inventory list via Safe Ship Moving. Additionally, one of the movers told me that they did not know how to drive the truck with the trailer attached, at which point I called Safe Ship’s customer service where I was told that someone would call me back to discuss other options ASAP.
An hour later, I called Safe Ship back and spoke with two supervisors (Rachel and then her supervisor Vanessa). At that point, the movers came to our door and let us know they were going to begin packing up our items, to which my husband said no thanks and handed them back their paperwork. Safe Ship’s supervisor, Vanessa, apologized and told us that they would redispatch another company out to assist with our move. I asked for clarification on the timeline, and was told that I had to resign the contract to get a dispatch quote. No discounts were offered, and we were just told that a different company would handle our move.
3 hours after initial arrival, AAA’s tow truck arrived to tow the moving truck and trailer out of our lawn. The AAA mechanic got the truck out and perfectly straight in our driveway, but the drivers were incapable of backing out of our driveway. After multiple attempts, the AAA mechanic had to back the truck out of our driveway on their behalf. Following their departure, my husband went out to speak with the AAA mechanic to thank him for getting the moving company out of our yard and the mechanic said “yes, they were not professional drivers whatsoever.”
Do not use this company. I’m not sure how this is possible, or how these gentlemen ended up on our property, but it was the most unprofessional and disrespectful business experience I’ve ever seen. On original pickup day, at 8:23pm, I got a phone call from Safe Ship telling me that our new dispatch was scheduled for the next day between 12-3pm.
On the second pickup day, Sunday, we got a call at 12:12pm from a driver who said he would be arriving between 3:00-5:00pm. I was not given the name of the company, and because this was out of the pick-up window I was given I called Safe Ship back, and spoke with an agent named Gina to express that we now have a second day of completely canceled plans and a company not coming within the service window, after the damage and issues that we incurred the day prior.
Gina asked why having the driver arrive late was an issue, and we expressed that we already had multiple issues the day prior and that for a second attempt to rectify the issues, this was problematic. We are supposed to be moving in 96 hours and had intended to have our items already on their way by Sunday, so we had a day of activities planned. To have to cancel everything today, and now reschedule our evening plans as well, for a driver who did not even disclose his company name is problematic. Gina asked me repeatedly if the file was booked under my husband’s name, to which I continued to say no, and then she said that she was unsure if a supervisor would be able to speak to me because it was a Sunday, but that she would reach out to Vanessa and let her know we called, and also connect with the company to get us additional information and would call us back within an hour. The call concluded by 12:21pm.
At 1:12pm, I received a call back from Gina to tell me that the dispatch team was working on my ticket and that they were “doing us a favor” by getting us rescheduled so quickly. She said she would call back with additional information. During this call, I asked Gina for the name of the moving company now dispatched to our home, and she said “Safe Movers LLC” based out of NJ. A google search provided no information. We asked for their DOT license number, and it was provided. Upon googling their license, we found out that this company had only been licensed for one month.
During the next few hours, we reviewed the Safe Ship contract and the reference tools provided, including the document “Your Rights and Responsibilities During Your Move”. This document, provided by the DOT and linked to by Safe Ship, informed us that a licensed mover using their DOT license would have that information on their truck, and the proper paperwork. We also found out that we were entitled to clear delivery dates. For reference if anyone would like to review: **.
The original service window came to pass, as did the 3-5pm block, with no phone calls or additional information from the moving company or Safe Ship. I never heard from dispatch, and so at 5:01pm, now officially out of all service windows, we proceeded to call Safe Ship and ask to speak to a manager because we were done and wanted our security deposit back. We had cancelled an entire second day of plans, coordinated an alternative to get our goods to Colorado on time, and we were fed up with the circles and unclear customer support. My phone call was transferred to Vanessa, the manager I had spoken with the day before, and I was given her voicemail.
I called back, and at 5:11pm I was connected with Vanessa, who put me on hold to tell me she was speaking with the drivers. We informed Vanessa that we were done and just wanted our security deposit back, that no one was at our home, and we had things we needed to be doing. At 5:12pm, the movers called me, and told me that my “address didn’t exist.” I asked what town they were located in, and they told me the name of the town two over. I said that I didn’t live in that town, and then the call disconnected.
I proceeded to call Vanessa back, and when she answered she asked me why I told the movers I didn’t live at my address. I explained that is not what I said, but that I didn’t live in the town they said when the call disconnected, and that it didn’t matter because we were fed up and done, and just wanted our security deposit back. Vanessa started arguing with me and said that they had until midnight to get us loaded onto the truck.
My husband took the phone and reiterated that we were done, we needed to be elsewhere, and that we would like to speak to a supervisor above Vanessa to get our deposit back because we had waited and given the benefit of the doubt, with no success. Vanessa then asked my husband “Well, you’re supposed to leave town in 3 days, what are you guys even going to do? You can’t get a moving company in that amount of time.” My husband repeated his position, and Vanessa said that someone else would call us back to process a refund. The call ended at 5:18pm.
At 5:23pm, as we’re getting ready to walk out of the door, the movers pull into our driveway in a rented Penske truck. This alone, per the DOT information we had read above, was enough to emphasize that they would not be taking our items. My husband walked outside to meet the driver and said that we had spoken with Safe Ship and would not be moving forward with this transaction. My husband and I got in our car, the movers left, and we left the house. When I looked at my phone, I had 3 missed calls from Vanessa.
Vanessa called a fourth time at 5:28pm, and when I answered she informed us that because we declined the movers at our door, we were no longer eligible for a refund. I said that I originally requested a refund at 5:01pm when I called Gina and no one was at my house, and that Vanessa had confirmed during the 5:18pm call that someone would be getting ahold of us to process this refund. Vanessa began to argue with me and tell me that we were ungrateful for her to move around “other customers to ensure that we could get onto this truck,” and that I was a liar because she had “a photo of my mailbox from 5pm which meant the movers were there.”
I pointed out that we were on the phone at 5:15pm when I informed her the movers couldn’t find my address, and so there was no possible way they were on our property at 5pm. Vanessa proceeded to call me a liar, and raise her voice to tell me that we were being unreasonable for questioning the move, and said again that they had until midnight to get us onto the truck. My husband grabbed the phone out of my hand, and said that this phone call was incredibly unprofessional and that he would not have someone call his wife a liar, and that we wanted to speak with Vanessa’s direct supervisor. She said okay, and we asked when we could expect that call. She said within 15 minutes and hung up.
Approximately 10 minutes later, we got a phone call from Leslie, the customer service manager with Safe Ship. Leslie said that she had spoken with Vanessa about our issues on Sunday, and I asked if I could go through the entire two days of information that led to us requesting a refund. She said she wasn’t aware that there were two days, and so I proceeded to go through everything documented here. After I was done, she apologized profusely and said that processing a refund would not be an issue at all. We got our refund within 48 hours.

While explaining the Refund procedure we were hung up on, only to discover you filed a dispute when we would have gladly released the refund. Rather than initiating a dispute with the payment provider, all we ask for is one quick email to Management. All cancellation correspondence must be documented.
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to address your concerns. We will use your feedback to identify training opportunities. Thank you.
