    I used PODS for my recent move from Colorado to Alabama. The scheduling process was straightforward and easy at first. However, whenever I needed to make changes or discuss details, reaching customer service was a challenge; it took about five minutes to connect with an actual person. They encouraged texting, but responses took over an hour, which felt inefficient. Despite this, the team always addressed my concerns and fixed any issues.

    The drivers were excellent at communication, consistently giving me a call 10 to 30 minutes before arrival. They were pleasant and helpful, which was appreciated. The move was a lengthy 1600 miles, and the delivery took 10 days instead of the expected nine, slightly hampering my plans. Nevertheless, everything arrived in good condition, so it turned out alright in the end.

    As for the costs involved, the initial quote remained consistent with the final price, with no unexpected changes. The overall experience was quite costly, preventing me from giving a perfect rating. Overall, despite the few hiccups, I would still rate the experience relatively positively with a four.

    I used PODS' services to move some items from my house to my daughter's house. Although I initially set it up online, I eventually spoke with a representative, which went smoothly. I've used PODS multiple times, and it's always been an easy and seamless experience.

    PODS answered the phone when I first called. No other company would answer the call. PODS did, and that made all the difference. I needed three different PODS delivered at staggered times, and the phone representative was super patient, staying on the line for almost two hours to help me out. He was awesome and guided me through everything smoothly.

    The actual moving experience was impressive. The team was very polite, listened to my requests, and even gave specific instructions on how and where the PODS would be placed near my driveway. They were efficient, and I felt very taken care of.

    Even though the cost was expensive, I found it worthwhile. None of my items were lost or damaged; everything arrived on time. They even called me just 15 to 20 minutes before arrival to keep me in the loop. The whole experience left me very pleased.

    The only minor issue I encountered was with their notification system. Sometimes the approximate arrival times wouldn't load on my phone, though it worked on my computer. I'd suggest they tweak that software so everyone gets notifications regardless of device access. Still, I give them high marks for service and experience.

    I used PODS to help move my mother from California to Virginia, mainly because it was the only option I was aware of at the time. My overall experience was quite positive, though not without a couple of hiccups. Initially, the entire booking process was smooth, and communication seemed efficient. However, when it came time for the delivery in Virginia, the pod did not arrive on the scheduled date, and there was no cancellation notice. This forced me to reschedule and incur an additional fee of $289, which was frustrating since the mishap wasn't our fault.

    Despite this setback, everything else went well. Since we handled the packing ourselves, it was a relief to find nothing damaged upon receiving our items. The delivery driver was excellent, placing the pod exactly where we needed. Also, the pod itself was clean and came with a lock, which added a sense of security.

    Although I didn't use their website for the booking and opted to call using their 800 number, the entire process via phone was straightforward. I only needed one small pod since my mother was downsizing and moving just a room’s worth of belongings. Even with the added rescheduling stress, I'd recommend PODS to friends and family because their service, overall, was solid. Delivery and pick-up were timely, taking just a couple of days to manage the whole transition.

    I was referred by POD to a reportedly reputable moving company and informed that if the packing took less than 4 hours, I would be refunded part of the 800.00 charged. They were done in less than an hour because I had done all the work, and it was just a matter of stacking the boxes in the trailer. They did not honor the agreement. Buyer beware and also note that if you are one day late on pickup, the company will charge you the entire month's storage fee. I have since found more reasonable and less expensive storage/moving resources. Lesson learned.

    This was the second time we used Pods for a major move. This move went smoothly both in San Jose, CA and in the Frisco TX area. Drop off & pick up of pods was as scheduled. And the driver waited to be sure we could open the back of the Pods before he left since the driveway had a slight incline. This was vastly different than our first time around in 2022 when one of the Philadelphia area locations had scheduling issues and an empty pod was left for many weeks after we had moved. My experience is to schedule exactly the # of pods you need and the exact delivery location and dates without changes - this is how the system works best. And the quality of service varies by the local Pod location. Grateful for the McKinney & San Jose crews who did a great job this time around.

    My experience was when you set up an order/contract it will be with an English 1st languge representative. When you go to schedule pickups and deliveries - English isn't their 1st language. All were friendly but some were easier than others to understand. I did not use a phone app for my Pod business as I prefer my PC. That being said I consider myself PC proficient and have many accounts to deal with online HOWEVER I found the "online" account much lacking in my ability to see an ongoing tally of costs per month. I only found PDF downloads to see previous transactions. Maybe I couldn't figure it out. I certainly tried.

    Lastly - when I read or was told that 14 days are required to schedule a delivery (loaded, last stop) I did so 12/14 days previous to it being delivered the date after closing on a condo - I was told that there were only a few days previous to closing or 5/7 days later. You can't park a POD where you don't have residence and the 6 days later - I was told by a representative that they were sorry but I would have to pay another $288 for the month because it was 3 days after the contract per month cost. NOT a Happy camper. Oh yeah, one more thing, I paid a small additional amount to have the POD originally delivered to the yard beside the house moving from. The driver said "no can do" an into the driveway it parked for months. I never saw any credit for that amount. CD **

    Beware of surprise costs. PODS will make a boneheaded error and make you pay for it. Here's what happened: Moving from NC to Ohio, and we needed to pack up our things early, before we'd had a chance to find and buy a home in OH. The delivery, packing, and removal went fine. We had told the PODS folks we were buying a house in the Cincinnati area, but didn't have an address yet. They said no problem, and shipped the container to a storage facility in Lexington, KY.

    Come to find out: the Lexington, KY facility doesn't service all parts of Cincinnati. Our new house just so happens to be outside of that facility's "service area" -- and so we are paying $800 for them to ship the container to a different storage facility and THEN to our new house. They knew we were moving to the Cincinnati area -- but didn't know exactly where yet. And instead of shipping our container to a facility that serve all parts of the Cincinnati area, they sent it to a facility that only does bits and pieces. Their error. Our cost. My husband has been on the phone for hours and had zero luck finding anyone to take responsibility. Find a better company. Or at the very least: triple check that the person you're talking to ships your container to the right facility. If they make a mistake, it'll be your wallet that pays.

    PODS - you need to do better. Your customer service is terrible. I found it impossible to get a quote. I went to the website, entered the from and to zip codes. Next screen: "We’re preparing your quote but we need your email so we can send it." Next screen, "Your quote is ready but before we can send it we need your phone number." Next screen: "Oh and we need your first and last name." Next screen: "Your quote is ready but now you have to call this number." I called the number and it was obviously a call center. The person on the phone, who was difficult to understand, wanted my address, phone number, name, everything again! I was not comfortable giving that information and asked if he could please just give me a ballpark based on the distance and size of the container. It’s not rocket science. 8 ft container going from here to there. Approximately *** dollars. He put me on terminal hold. I never received a quote.

    WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER. I will never book with PODS again and advise others to do likewise. Oliver in “customer service” is terrible!! Couldn’t answer my questions. Wouldn’t honor the original deal made when booking (they promised a free first month rental but I was charged for it on delivery of the unit). Refused to transfer me to ANYONE else who could help. Kept repeating he was Costa Rican and laughed at my request for transfer. I told him his personal information was of no concern of mine and he told me that I should care that he is Costa Rican. Did not help at all.

    Every time I asked to be transferred, he told me to call back if I wanted to talk to someone else. Like he would get in trouble for terminating the call but forced me to do so. Seriously, the conversation was insane. I couldn’t believe it. Subsequently, my emails to customer service have gone unanswered as well. One email was returned asking for additional information, but no response once it was provided. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER. I will never book with PODS again and advise others to do likewise.

    Everything went well except needing to make last minute changes locally (Hawaii). Not having access to the local people and not having 24-hour access to the national office made for some stressful moments. I would recommend changes in order to have the ability to contact locally or on weekends/evenings - especially since moving is often across multiple time zones.

    We used 2 pods for moving. We had to store them for 6 months. Every employee we dealt with were extremely helpful and answered all questions. Everything arrived intact and nothing was broken. However, we did use our own choice of packers. They were helpful after the pods were delivered we had trouble opening them and the driver was very courteous and helpful. Would definitely use them again if we moved.

    Overall good experience as we started with a 8’ container in early January for storage and then added 2 16’ containers when we moved at the start of May. Your Conway SC office/drivers were great. Followed guidance, call ahead well before the delivery. Great service. The Greenville NC office/overall were not that great. Poor communication, did not call until they arrived on the first day and on a few of the follow up services, placed in the wrong location, and drove off my drive away leaving ruts and going over a rose bush. Called customer service the night prior to first placement in NC. They did not relay any of the instructions to local office. We did not close on our property until that afternoon and could not place the unit until we actually owned the property. The unit was placed early and previous owner was upset and raised an issue.

    The Pod method was great. We had our on movers to pack the pod for departure location but used a Pod recommendation for the unpacking. The drivers were awesome and timely. The unpacking movers were efficient and meticulous! The only improvement area would be in the "night before email notification". We didn't receive the emails for the last two Pod interactions... Although the window did show the day of on the MyPODS website and the drivers always gave us at least a 30 minutes heads up.

    Awful experience. Would not recommend PODS to anyone. What they don’t tell you when you initially sign the agreement is that the dimensions they provide for the container are the EXTERIOR dimensions and do not reflect the interior size. This led to the loss of thousands of dollars of furniture that we had measured before receiving the pod and would have fit had the interior dimensions of the pod been accurate. They tore down our power wires when they picked up the power lines when dropping off the pod and then just left us with a downed line costing us time and money. They don’t tell you when the container arrives at the destination forcing you to continue to be billed for their way overpriced storage fees which for some reason start when the pod first arrives empty to your home.

    You pay storage fees the entire time it’s in transit, they say you have access to the pod when it arrives to their facility but they don’t tell you when it arrives and you have to make an appointment a week before to access your own container. I would say “you get what you pay for” but we were promised communication and a pod that was a foot larger than the one we received which was NOT what we paid for. Look elsewhere.

    I was moving my family from New Hampshire to Orlando and used PODS to not only move my house but later on my truck. Both times I was very impressed with the service. They are very communicative both during pickup and drop off. They were always on time for both and everything was delivered in the same condition as when it was picked up. The only thing I wish they had was a way to track your items during transit. Luckily I had a GPS tag that I used with my truck and could follow it the entire time. Finally, and this was not due to PODS, but they outsource the unloading services to local companies and when the person showed up his buddy never arrived and so he and I had to unload the entire POD. However, PODS apologized and discounted the rate 50% which I was very appreciative of and they called several times to make sure I was satisfied. I would definitely use them again and would also tell my friends and family to use them.

    If you’re planning to store your property for an extended period of time, I highly recommend finding another company. Our pod was stored in their Greensboro NC location and when we got our Pod back, it was infested with mice. Everything was destroyed and full of mouse urine and feces. We had no perishables in there and our furniture was destroyed. Zero effort on their part, keeping your property safe - beware! Also, their insurance covers nothing unless it’s a fire or struck by lightning. We had insurance through them and even then, our claim was denied. I wouldn’t use them ever again or recommend them to anyone!

    I will never work with PODS again. Never. Completely unreliable service. On Yelp in my area, they have a 2-star overall, dominated by 1-star ratings. I made an agreement with PODS Moving & Storage to deliver and pick up an 8-foot pod within a 4-day time frame, and they failed to deliver it at all. Just never arrived. As a result, I suffered much higher shipping costs when I was forced to quickly hire another shipping company - This was made necessary since the lease on my apartment was ending and I had to get my cargo out of my apartment, AND I was set to move away from the area. (Everyone who has to move has their own deadlines. You will too.) During this whole very stressful ordeal, it was made clear to me by PODS Customer Service how many problems PODS logistics and warehousing was having and thus why they could not deliver. (I was told there was a missing driver, very busy warehouse, etc...)

    When I asked PODS to reimburse me for this difference in shipping costs (between what I expected to pay PODS vs. what I did pay the 2nd shipper I was forced to hire WHEN PODS FAILED TO DELIVER), they absolutely refused and made up silly, disconnected-from-reality excuses to avoid paying. The situation was... I booked with PODS about 6 weeks prior to the delivery date. When the time came, PODS kept promising and failing to deliver the 8-foot pod over a 2-day period. By the 3rd day, the PODS Customer Service supervisor told me the pod was STILL not scheduled for delivery in the last 36 hours of the agreed upon time frame. I was then forced to cancel and book with another company. They then removed all invoices and our signed agreement documents from my online PODS account. Given they failed to deliver, you can guess why they did that.

    For the 16-foot pod they DID deliver, they called me on the morning of its scheduled pick up and said because they were overwhelmed at the warehouse, they could not pick it up for another 10 days. I had to explain to them it was parked in the public parking spaces next to my building and my parking permit ran out at midnight. I said, "If you don't come get it, the city would be within its rights to impound it." Despite how busy they claimed to be, they picked it up at 7pm. --This emphasizes that even by the final day of our agreement, the PODS warehouse had NO capacity to deliver my 8-foot container ANY time soon - UNLESS apparently when faced a financial penalty from the city.

    Despite this reality.... The PODS "Customer Advocacy" team who I filed my reimbursement claim with said that when I canceled the order for the 8-foot pod, it was still "available", but just "delayed". When in fact it was a no show. Then they said I could have re-scheduled. But again I had to have my stuff out of my apartment in less then 2 days since I had given notice I was moving out; And my travel bookings were set to leave the state; AND the $630+ street parking permit I paid for to park the pods was expiring in the next 36 hours. SO.... how was it possible to re-schedule? When I asked PODS this, they had no answer, but irrationally continued to insist re-scheduling was "still an option". They just didn't want to pay. They said canceling the 8-foot pod was my decision. NOPE. I was forced to cancel after PODS completely failed to deliver in my specified time frame.

    And why would I EVER cancel my travel bookings (which comes with their own financial penalties); and ask my apartment manager if I can stay longer (if he was even able to do that - and charge me additional rent); AND re-book a new parking permit with the city; and hire a new labor team to load my pod... Why would I take a chance to have ANY of those additional costs given PODS had already proven to be unreliable? Would PODS reimburse me for all of those extra costs too? Not a chance.

    Now imagine that this was you. Do you really want to take the chance on doing business with this company? If you do, PODS' position will be that all of the extra expense, time, inconvenience, and stress will be on YOU if/when they fail to deliver? Because that is exactly what they did to me. If I had to do it all over again, I would have hired a truck from U-Haul that offers labor for an additional cost. And I could have overseen the loading of my truck personally and then drove it myself to the final destination - and this would have guaranteed my timeframe was met that meets my needs. And this would have been infinitely cheaper, better handled, and with less stress than the b.s. I had to put up with PODS. You've been warned.

    I don’t normally write reviews, but I feel like people need to know what they’re dealing with if they book with PODS. We planned our move from NY to GA for months, had our POD scheduled to arrive Friday 6/27 so we could be out by 6/30, and then delivered in GA on 7/11 (the only day my husband could get off work to unload it). Instead, we get a call last minute at 8:30 AM Friday 6/27 — saying the POD won’t be delivered until 7/1. Zero notice. Zero accountability.

    We couldn’t reach anyone who could help. Every number routes to overseas call centers where they can’t do anything. I literally drove 3 hours round-trip to a local branch just to speak to someone. The manager admitted they’re overbooking and can’t keep up, but said he’d try to fit us in. He never called. Another rep said the branch would call us by EOD or Saturday morning. No one ever called.

    Now we’re stuck paying for extra days in our apartment, rearranging our lives, and trying to figure out how to get to GA to unload when my husband can’t take off work again — and apparently, we also can’t even get our original 7/11 delivery date back. We also hired help in GA we now can’t use. And still — no resolution, no follow-up, no refund or even a partial credit despite the clear failure on their part. The most frustrating part? You literally cannot talk to anyone with decision-making power. No one cares. Avoid PODS at all costs. They are unreliable, overbooked, impossible to get help from, and have no concern for how their mess-ups affect real families. Absolute nightmare.

    I used PODS for moving and storage. They picked up my stuff and took it to a storage lot till my place here was finished, and then they delivered it here. And I chose to use them because it was easier for me in many ways. They could just drop the pod, and then I can load what I wanted to load from my house, and take my time doing it. It wasn’t like the truck was there and had to get going.

    So, I got a 16-foot pod, and it was tight. But that was my fault. I misjudged how much stuff I had. And everybody I talked to there, the drivers and the people on the phone, they were all fantastic. I had no problem with them. And the pick-up and delivery of the pod went fine. I also didn't feel that their price was out of line since everything is expensive nowadays.

    I only moved 15 miles away. We didn't wanna use a moving company and I heard some good things about PODS from people who have used it prior. So we went with them, and the moving process was very pleasant.

    They came and asked me what side I wanted the door facing, how it shall be positioned, and when to put it. They were pretty informative.

    The online app is good and easy to use. Their customer service that I call customer service were more than happy to help to fix anything that I couldn't understand off their site. Everything was pretty good.

    A few days before moving, they ask if I want to cancel, cancel now. If not, the driver will call a half hour before. And about a half hour, 40 minutes before, I got a call from the driver stating that they would be there and that the driveway was empty.

    The quote didn't change. And I actually got a discount for doing something during the Labor Day sale. So it was 20% off, a little bit less than what I was expecting to pay and I was pretty happy with that.

    That PODZILLA thing they use is actually a pretty cool system. The way they drop it in the driveway and just place it. It's pretty interesting. I didn't have anything bad to say about them. I’m very satisfied. Overall, I had a good experience.

    I needed a place to store my household goods for about a month while they prepared an apartment for me, and PODS did an excellent job. I did it all online. I just booked it and set up the date. I had the pod for a little over a month and a half, and it was exactly what I needed.

    I had to move some of my stuff. My cousin went through the same thing and she mentioned PODS. So, I went ahead and scheduled with them. Booking was okay. I inputted my information online and then it told me to give them a call. The pod was initially supposed to be put in my driveway, but it was a little too narrow. So, the driver suggested we put it somewhere else, which was totally fine. It was easy to work with the nice gentleman that time, and it was smooth.

    I was a little bit worried on the top of the pod inside. It looked like a mold or dirt, and it was a little concerning. I was afraid that my stuff was going to end up molded whenever I got it delivered, but it was not. I have had the pod for about a week. So, I had a week to pack my pod, and then they picked up my pod in a week. Afterwards, they had it delivered within a week and a half, which was quick.

    whenever driver first dropped it off, I was out there and he was so nice. I signed some paperwork. And then, whenever they dropped it off at my destination, I was unfortunately not there, but they dropped it off anyway. I would come home and it was already there. And then, whenever they picked it up, I was not there either. Still, it was smooth sailing, and I enjoyed the experience. If I ever do another move, I would definitely use PODS again. I like how I can pack at my own pace. And if I need movers, then I can just hire movers. All my stuff came, and nothing was broken.

    PODS is a great company. The only service I needed was to put a pod in my driveway so I could take everything out of my garage because I was having my floors redone. Then, they had to take everything out of the pod and put it back in my garage. So, they delivered on time, set it up for me, came back, and picked it up. They did a very good job, and they were on time. I chose because they had a unique way of unloading and reloading the pod on their truck. They have a 4-point lift that lifts the pod up in the air, and they drive the truck out from under it, and then set it down on the ground.

    All PODS staff with whom I interacted were friendly and professional. But the reason for the 2-star rating is that I believe the driver that delivered our POD was not skilled enough to use Podzilla to put the POD where wanted it. We later discovered a neighbor in our development did have a POD delivered to an exactly equivalent place where we had wanted ours. On the delivery day, the driver convinced us to place the POD where it obstructed access to our garage. In hindsight, the inevitable happened and we scraped the car on the POD while reversing from the garage. We scheduled pickup the next day, never used the POD, but still paid the first month's rent and delivery and pickup charges. A very dissatisfying experience.

    If I could give zero stars, I would!!! Do not, I repeat do not ever use this company!!! Complete fraud!!! I have been on the phone with multiple issues for four days now and still no resolve!!! My 88-year-old mother is disabled and is in early stages of dementia! I am in the process of preparing to renovate her home in district of Columbia to ensure her last days are comfortable and manageable!

    This company sells itself on the principle of convenience and it has been nothing but a headache! I paid a lot for convenience and have not had that yet! When I booked, I explained that I am in DC and do not have a driveway or yard access, so the pod will be placed on the street! I explained and gave my permit to the company, explaining that in DC I must have a permit to place a storage container on the street and it is only good for 5 days (DC does not renew this type of permit)!!!

    I made my reservation for delivery on 6/21/25 and specifically requested that the pod be delivered no later than 12 noon because I hired workers to pack my pod and I did not want to disrupt my elderly mom's routine because it would throw her off track!!! My pod was not delivered until after 8pm on 6/21/25!!!! When I contacted customer service, these idiots gave me the run around and then told me I should have been told that I have to pay for premium service to have my pod delivered by a certain time! pay for premium service??? I already paid $365.11, and would be paying $403.87 a month, and not to mention I just lost $375 on movers that didn't have a pod to pack! To add insult to injury, I was then told verbatim, "Well, I don't know what to tell you, and we do not have a way to provide you with any credits" by manager Abby I. (if that is even her name)!

    Fast forward, I then complained that I now had only one day (6/22/25) to pack my pod because I work 14 hour days! In addition, I now had to pack it myself! I was again told in not-so-many words, "not our problem!" Today, 6/25/25, my pod was scheduled for pickup, with an estimated time between 7:45 pm to 10:45 pm!!! My permit expires at 11:59 pm! If the pod remains after that time, I will be subjected to fines, tow, and/or both by DC!

    At 8pm, I receive an email and call saying my pod will not be picked up now until 7/3/25!!! I immediately called customer service and I am still on hold at 9:50 pm waiting for the representative to find a manager and for the manager at the warehouse to pick up the phone (the local storage warehouse does not close until 11pm)!!! still waiting on hold!!!

    And yes, once again, I am being told I will not be compensated and it is out of their control that they do not have a driver! **, you mean you do not have a driver! And to further piss me off, they then tell me any fees I incur or if my pod gets towed, I am responsible! While still sitting here waiting and writing this review, I have also been reaching out to news media outlets and exposing this fraud of a company!!! I have also filed a complaint with BBB!!! And the corporate office number is a dummy number with a recording telling you to contact the customer service!!! If you want your money stolen, then by all means, book this horrible company!!! They will tell you they created a case but they won't and don't!!! They can't even provide me a case number!!! I will end here while I am still on hold!!! You have been warned of this fraudulent company!!!

However, a family heirloom Hoosier sustained significant damage ($500) and after filing a claim, I received nothing. They blamed me and the mover who they recommended and suggested I go after them...a small company from Hire a Helper. Bogus!

    Rented a PODS for storage after a move for my handicapped mother in law. I received a quote for a recurring payment of $139.30 plus $10.00 for protection plus tax. Received first bill of $199 plus the other fees. Got on the online chat and it said someone would be on within 17 mins. After 45 mins I hung up and called customer service. The lady that answered spoke very broken English and said it was a 1 time discount even though my quote says recurring. She never took ownwership of my issue and kept cutting me off when I would try to explain what was going on. She kept telling me that what I was given before I checked out was a estimate even though it says Quote. She kept telling me that I didn't understand and that I was reading it wrong and that it was all valid. She refused to transfer me to a supervisor several times and told me that a supervisor couldn't help me either.

    Finally after almost 30 more minutes she told me she would open a case and I would get a email within 72 hours from a case manager. Well almost a week later I get a voicemail saying that I disputed the protection for the $10 a month and that it was a valid charge. That WAS NOT even in the dispute at all. I retired from customer service with a worldwide company and I have NEVER seen this level of Horrible incompetence customer service anywhere. What makes it even worse is the top of my quote says price lock guarantee. To PODS if you want to fix this look up case # **

    In the process of moving from one home to another home in a different city we contracted PODS for excess furniture, furnishings, and clothing. Our delivery date was yesterday, June 19, with the delivery window of 2-5 p.m. We only knew that by calling the PODS customer service, if you want to call it that. No email or text. However, we did PODS text and emails several times several days earlier warning us if we were going to cancel our date we had to do it by a certain date and time. Probably because it would inconvenience them. Different story when it inconveniences the customer.

    When 5 p.m. came but the PODS didn’t, we called again to get a recorded message that the window had been pushed back to 6:30. Again, no text or email. When 6:30 p.m., we called and spoke with a customer service rep, who put us on hold, said they talked to the operations manager and we should expect delivery by 7:30 a.m. Guess what, didn’t happen. Called again and told the time had been pushed back to 8 p.m., then shortly after 9 p.m.

    We finally demanded to speak to a supervisor who apologized (likely reading off script, which they never stray from). We told her we weren’t going to wait until all hours of the night for a delivery that may or may not come. She assured us delivery would be today, between 7-9 a.m. Want to guess what happened? Nothing. No delivery. Not contact from PODs.

Anyone out there that believes they were scammed by pods, please contact me. Everyone, check your detailed receipts for the dates, the storage time, etc. I had use 13 days of storage and they charged me 2 months worth for 2 pods. They also extended the dates they picked up my pods. They told me they gave me a 30% discount and it shows only 1 time on 1 item. It's ridiculous. I pestered them for weeks before they agreed to refund my money. I never received it and they told me they didn't have my address! What a joke - they dropped off and picked up the pods here!! OMG!     Our experience w PODS started out fine. We had a 16ft container for 4.5 years w/out issue. Unfortunately, that ended when we scheduled our long-distance delivery. What followed was communication failures, unresponsiveness, & schedule breakdowns that caused stress, financial loss, and unnecessary hardship during a time when we were already caring for elderly loved ones. We coordinated our move with PODS and were told we’d receive a call the day before with a delivery window. Instead, we received a notice that the delivery was canceled due to non-payment despite our account having been auto-charged just 5 days earlier for the monthly fee. The new charge had no clear explanation.

    This cancellation forced us to reschedule everything — flights, truck rentals, a dumpster, and help from friends. These had all been booked months in advance. Now, with only a week to react we were backed into a corner. PODS offered a discount, which barely scratched the surface of the disruption & expense. We rescheduled with a delivery window of 8–11am only to receive a call that morning at 8:23am they weren’t coming. The driver was sick & there were no options than to delay 2 more days. No manager was available to speak with me. I was placed on a call-back list that, to this day, no one has followed up.

    On the day of delivery, after requesting an early window, we were given 10:30–1:30. At 12:31pm, we were informed that the driver had a flat tire. It wasn’t until 4:40pm that the POD finally arrived. No one from PODS followed up, despite multiple requests. The drivers were professional, but the communication and responsiveness from the company were shockingly poor. I hope no other family has to go through the helplessness & frustration of trying to retrieve their possessions from a company so detached from customer service & accountability. When you entrust a company with your family’s furniture, heirlooms, and memories, you expect a baseline level of reliability & respect.

    I ordered 2 - 16ft pods. Both were picked up and dropped at my new house within a few days. The first pod went seamlessly. First let me say if you have a pod picked up and a new dropped on the same day, the company DOES NOT take this into consideration when scheduling. I have no idea why. Makes no sense. So the guy with the new pod shows up hours before the guy to pick up the existing one. Luckily this guy was very nice and ended up switching them out for me and did a great job! However, at the new house I have a pod I’ve emptied and waiting for my 2nd one. Same day. They scheduled the same guy to pick up that was dropping off and he didn’t realize until he was on the way and called me. He sounded irritated (understandably) because pods.com doesn’t know how to coordinate their scheduling. But it is not my fault. He said “I’ll figure it out”. He showed up with an empty truck. Took the old pod and left.

    I thought maybe he’d dropped the other somewhere close and was about to bring it back. Nope. After waiting all day and calling customer service (no help at all and cannot contact the driver apparently), we finally get the other pod at the end of the day. Mind you this was scheduled for 7am-10am. I had hired help which was wasted. Then the pod was left completely angled in my driveway. I’ve never seen anything like it. Everything inside was spilled over. You could tell this driver was irritated, waited all day to deliver my pod, and obviously handled the pod overly rough and left it in a ridiculous position. And none of this was my fault, only his company. Unacceptable all around, everything up until that point was great. It’s unfortunate as I’ll probably never use them again.

    We've seen PODS around and thought we'd give it a try. We just called, made a reservation. They dropped it off. We packed it. They came, picked it up, and they delivered it on time.     DO NOT USE PODS MOVING AND STORAGE COMPANY. I have made several cross country moves and have dealt with all kinds of issues while making those moves. Not once have I had the SEVERE problems that I experienced with Pods and perhaps even more importantly, not once have I received such horrible, condescending and manipulative customer service in my life while trying to rectify these issues. I say this as someone who has gone through many negative experiences with different companies yet has never written a negative review for a moving/storage company because I understand that things happen and people make mistakes. However, I feel compelled to alert consumers who may be looking into using Pods as a service of my experience so they can choose a different company that has some semblance of respect for their customers.

    I don’t want this review to take forever to read, and it would if I listed all of the issues I’ve had with Pods over my three years of using their service for both storage and moving, so I’ll try to highlight the major mistakes they’ve made recently. Beware, they do not follow any of the information on their website or the information that their customer service representatives give to you regarding protocol.

    For example, I placed an order with them to move my Pod from the West Coast to the East Coast, noting on the phone that I wasn’t entirely sure that the second location was finalized. They assured me that as long as I called within 24 hours and updated it, I would be refunded my money (close to $4,000) and only charged for the updated move location. I called within 24 hours, as the customer service representative stated, and changed the location to a much closer city. The difference in price for the shipment was over $1,000. Again, I was assured that as the first order was canceled within a timeframe to incur no penalty, I would be refunded my almost $4,000 original estimate and then charged for the lesser amount.

    This did not happen. In fact, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THAT MONEY BACK FROM PODS. I called customer service four times regarding this issue, was reassured over and over that the money would show up any day until on my final follow up call, I was told that I would not receive that money until days after my Pod was delivered to the final location and picked up. I was also told that although originally I had been promised not to be charged Pod Rent for that month, given that my Pod had spent a total of 3 days in one of their storage facilities, they had already deducted a full month of rent (over $350) from the amount I was supposed to have already been refunded.

    Ash, that customer service rep, said that the four other people I’d spoken to confirming the exact opposite of everything he said were wrong and his hands were tied. We spoke for over two hours and an hour after telling me he couldn’t do anything whatsoever to help me, somehow, he “remembered” a ten day rule that MAY allow me to get back the money for half a month rent and that it was up to his discretion. I continued asking questions and pointed him to how what he was saying went directly against what was stated on their website, to which he said that I was reading it wrong.

    I’ve worked in Crisis PR for almost a decade. I help Fortune 500 companies write the copy for the websites in conjunction with attorneys to ensure clarity. I did not read it wrong, he just decided to lie to me. I asked more questions and in response, he continued to put himself on mute. When I stopped talking, he would go off mute and not answer the questions I just asked, but instead laugh and seemingly mock me. One of these times, he thought he put himself on mute but did not, and I heard him making fun of me on the call. I have NEVER, and I genuinely mean NEVER, been shown such disrespect by a company I spent over $15,000 with.

    When dropping off my Pod, I wrote as many instructions as I could in the limited amount of space they gave me. I wanted to also attached a photo to help, but they told me that wasn’t allowed. I was assured I would receive a call from the driver when they were on their way after they provided a 4 hour window the night before drop-off. I NEVER received a phone call. They didn’t update that they had dropped off the Pod on my Pod account website. I would have never even known it had been dropped off in entirely the wrong spot at the storage facility had the wonderful facility manager not called me directly. She had gone outside waving her arms at the truck in order to try to help direct them to the right area and instead, they blatantly drove right past her while looking at her.

    When I called Pods to ask 1) why I hadn’t been called as it promises on their website, 2) why it was put in entirely the wrong location of where I had written it be dropped off and 3) what they could do to try and help the situation, yet again, I ended up thoroughly disgusted. I spoke with Jimmy, who lied to me and made up excuses that again, were completely against everything stated on their website regarding protocol. Finally, he admitted they had made a mistake by not calling me, and even though that mistake cost me 7 additional hours of moving and significant financial expense for my moving help, there was nothing they could do.

    I think it’s important to note that the Libertyville Pod warehouse was LESS THAN FOUR BLOCKS from the Storage Facility. Jimmy was just like Ash in the fact that he was rude, dismissive, argumentative, and openly showed that he could not care less about my problem. I paid $178 to this company for them to drop this Pod three and a half blocks, in entirely the wrong place (inconveniencing not only me, but the Storage Unit as well) and there was nothing he would do about it.

    Again, I’m not one to write messages of this sort. I understand that mistakes happen and I’ve been through many moves and many messed up situations throughout those moves. However, not only did Pods make the worst mistakes possible, they charged me an insane amount of money, refused entirely any way to correct the situation or try to help and quite frankly, treated me as though I was subhuman.

    These people will take your money. They will charge you insane fees and then tack on random extra fees for no reason. They will make huge mistakes that cost you thousands of dollars and they will do nothing to try to make it right - not even by giving an apology. If you want to be treated like trash and end up paying 50% more than the estimate you’re given ONLY to have them not even do their job correctly, then go ahead and work with them. If you don’t, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

    I've used PODS to store our furniture and clothes for a move. It rain and the POD got flooded and destroyed thousands of dollars in furniture and clothes. Went through the POD insurance process and was decline. When it was PODs' fault because our POD storage was housed by PODS. It was not on our property but PODS' property and they declined our claim. I will never use these people for anything ever. Because if you're going to store my stuff on your premises and it gets flooded how can you decline the claim when it was the fault of the PODS and how it was built!

    There was a remodel that was going on, and a move that my mom was moving in, and there were a lot of stuff in the garage that needed to move out. PODS worked out well. I set the service online and then I ended up needing to change the date. So, I decided to call in person to make sure that it was not going to get charged.     This company does not have transparency in pricing. We booked five containers with a 30% discount for a move from Georgia to Tennessee, only to be told that there was an additional transportation fee of $1,700 per container when we scheduled the containers for delivery and that no discount applies to this fee. This was way more than I could have gotten movers along with a truck, and those movers would have unloaded our containers. They did not arrive when they said they would and they did not pick up when they said they would, causing multiple issues for us. I would never do business with this company again.

    I was told I had to rent the pod for a whole month even though I only needed it for a week so I had it delivered earlier than I needed it. It’s sat here for maybe a week and a half before I open the door for the first time to discover that the interior was soaking wet due to recent rains. I called pods immediately telling them that it was not usable and that it was leaking. At which time they informed me that there was no guarantee that they would not leak. We were leaving town to have our floors refinished, and we’re not comfortable putting our belongings inside of a pod that was not guaranteed to leak and the rain forecast for the next four days.

    I called PODS immediately and told them they could come pick it up and then it was no use to us. I filed agreement for a refund and of course they denied it. I have wasted over $300 on a pod that was of no use to me and I had to spend hundreds of dollars getting my garage prepped to store the furniture instead. I have reached out to pods many times with no response other than we’re gonna turn you over to collection agency

    I was very satisfied with my experience using PODS for my moving needs. There are two major areas with room for improvement however. 1) Is the storage and transportation costs are excessive. My storage needs turned out to be longer than anticipated and consumed more $ than ever anticipated . Also since I was paying monthly rent, the transportations costs were very expensive. 2) The system of not knowing until the evening before when a pod will be delivered or picked up makes it very difficult to manage labor to load and unload the pods. I suggest PODS adding labor availability to their service.

    Delivery of POD was great although neighbours complained that they could have moved it a bit further up the driveway. Access to POD was convenient although the doors were a bit difficult to open at times for someone with limited strength.     We recently relocated from Georgia to Florida. We used Pods each step along the way, including storage in Georgia before our final destination. I called customer service and it was pointless as they were all in the Philippines and could do nothing to help me. They then charged me extra for all of this…. I would go with a local moving company or U-Haul. PODS customer service is horrible and not US based.

    1st POD was delivered and picked up as promised. 2nd POD was scheduled to arrive on June 2. Later that day PODS calls and says driver is ill and my 2nd POD will be delivered on June 3. Waited all day June 3 and no communication from PODS at all. So started calling Customer Support around 4:30 pm east coast local tome. After being on phone until 7:47 pm nothing was resolved. Call center outside US said they could NIT reach anybody at HQ or in my area Wash DC. The agent, Francine, promised to escalate and call me back first thing June 4th before 10 am my time. Now my online record said 2nd POD would be delivered June 6. I called in again, reached Fernando in the Off Shore call center, and was forwarded to the HQ office in Clearwater FL. The phone rang and I was sent to Voicemail. I left detailed message. No response.

    11:00 am June 4. I called Support again and asked for supervisor. I was not connected directly, but Gus, the agent in Costa Rica, promised my issue was reviewed by local super and they have to escalate to higher up management. 11.15 Francine called me back. She found out that PODS has a sever shortage of drivers. And I will NOT get my POD until tomorrow the 5th at the earliest. So here I sit with a house full I boxes and unable to load into a container for the 3rd day. Now my driveway will be blocked by the dumpster coming tomorrow the 5th and I will have to carry everything around it instead of rolling down the driveway to the POD (assuming it ever arrives).

    This has been one of the worst experiences I have had as a customer in my 61 years. One of the most disturbing things is that the overseas call centers can't seem to reach anybody in the US. Their online web site and their phone service is NOT in sync. And managers of the local offices can't be reached after 7 or on weekends.

    I used PODS before when I moved here, and it was fine. That's why I used it again. But this time was not good.

    When I got a PODs, it wasn’t closed properly. I had a broken wrist, so I paid someone to put all my stuff in, but we couldn’t close it. I had to get another one and pay again to put everything in the new one. They said they would reimburse me $200, which was the cost, so I went to the bank and paid $200 out of my own money, but I never got that money back.

    When you request the first PODs and they come to pick it up, you pay for the first month. With my first POD, they picked it up and I paid for that month. But they didn’t give me a clear timeline. Since it was for that POD and I had already paid, the payment should have applied to it..

    I thought it was perfect. Getting a PODs is a great idea if you don’t have anywhere to store your stuff, that’s why I used it again, because it worked so well the first time.

    I used PODS for a cross-country move, and it was a perfectly fine experience for what we needed. I talked with a lady on the phone and didn’t have any problems getting everything set up. We had a 16 x 8 pod, which was enough for us. They dropped it off, we filled it up, and they picked it up. It got to the location with no issues. We unpacked, they came and picked up the empty pod, and we were good.

    I’d totally use them again in the future. If you've got just stuff that you wanna move, I would totally use PODS, but if you've got a lot of furniture to move, I probably wouldn’t use them

    I was a valued customer since 11/2020. Never late! Moving to Princeton and they couldn’t an accommodate the move so I scheduled to be delivered where I was living, rented a U-haul to clear it out and drive back to Princeton. I requested delivery the earliest time and they gave me a 8 am to 10 am window. Said they’d notify me the night before. Window changed from 1:30 to 3:30 then at 6 AM the day of the move they changed it again from 3:30 to 6:30. Put me on the last delivery for the day.. They tried to charge me for a full month. Then told me I was over the seven days so they had to charge me at least a half a month rent, but I requested the pod be delivered on a Friday which was the 30th. That would’ve been the third day from the billing cycle and they could not accommodate that so that was on them not me.

    And then I was told they would waive my delivery charge because I was a valued customer for 4 1/2 years and I made sure that they said that that wouldn’t affect my delivery time and then come to find out because I didn’t pay the delivery fee. I was not put on priority and they moved me to the very end of the list. That to me is not taking care of your customer, I spent almost 2 hours of my time the day before trying to get all of the payments corrected and just not happy. Would not recommend PODS to anyone. Very disappointed with my service.

    Other people I know use PODS so when I was in an emergency situation, I called. I was told I had to move out ASAP because there was mold in my place, and I was getting sick. I was having brain fog issues that I couldn't even do the request online. My brothers had locked the pod but when I went back to put something in I didn't lock it right. We had to get a different lock put on. But it worked out.

    Our development has a shared driveway. And we had been told that you had to put the pod in front of your garage or in the space. The driver didn’t want to put it on there. It's 7 o'clock in the morning. I had to drive an hour to meet him. It was early and I just wanted to get the thing done so I told him to just put it down. He put it in the middle of the driveway and it was blocking the walkway. I felt terrible and embarrassed. He said he has done deliveries in the area and that was how they usually do it. But I saw my neighbor was able to put it in his own spot.

    It's been a stressful couple of months. I wound up having to leave it in the pod longer. I was supposed to move in March. But I wound up not moving until April. Other than that, the guy who delivered and the rep I spoke with to make the arrangements were great.

    Seemed like a good idea but, 18 foot container, 21/2 months $14,000 dollars and I had to to hire a moving company (recommended by PODS) that uses homeless people to get my items to my house (they did 3,000 dollars worth of damage). So find a better alternative or just sell your stuff. Absolutely would not recommend.

    Where do I begin? It took them 3 weeks to come pick up the Pod after delivery even though it was empty that same day. They said it was their busy season.     The only concern I have is with the door on my PODS unit. It was extremely difficult to push up. I had to get assistance from a neighbor to help me. Even the driver had to struggle with the door and he was a young guy.     Deceptive, shady company in general. Scheduled a long-distance move without my authorization or notification and charged me close to $4000. Rescheduled delivery of "guaranteed dates" without my authorization or notification and charged me an additional month of storage....Twice. I was assured the permit to deliver container on city street was "obtained" and "authorized," and I was provided with a"record number." In actuality, no permit, no delivery. I was provided with misinformation on countless occasions, hung up on when trying to clarify misinformation, and one "representative" changed my email after said call.

    There has been no accountability or acknowledgment of poor business practice, deceptive practices, poorly informed employees and horrendous customer service. My "case" was abruptly closed after expressing my dissatisfaction with compensation and lack of communication. I have been profoundly inconvenienced, and I still don't have my container.

    They are not straightforward with the pricing. Very tricky process. You can get a quote only if call them and wait for at least 40 minutes to ask you so many questions and details and options in order to add more to the price. In the very end after you spend so many minutes waiting for the quote the offer is very pricey in comparison to other companies that you can go on their website and get a quote instantly. Very disappointed. It was a really bad customer experience.

    We need pods for moving and storage, so I went with PODS because I liked the design of their pod. I really did my research, and I’m good with these things. The price was amazing compared to a storage facility where I would rent a space at another location, so it worked out. I could have it right in my driveway. I had a really excellent experience. Everything was positive.

    The pick-up and delivery were excellent. I dealt with two gentlemen, and they made sure that I was happy with the area that it was going to go in. It was neat watching them move the pod. They were so nice. Everything was great.

    I had a yard sale, and a couple of people asked me about the pods. They think that pods are a new way of doing storage and would be super expensive. I told them the prices are the same as those of a storage place where you pay for a place you have to drive to, and you don’t have your items with you. But with pods, you can watch your items. They’re very secure, and there’s no way to get into them.

    PODS is the best and most convenient way to move.     During the setup, all I did was call PODS and they asked me a bunch of questions about my needs and they estimated the number of pods I would need and the sizing. I didn't heed their advice when I should have because we ended up having to move a lot of stuff ourselves that would have fit in the pod that was the size that they told us.

    The delivery and pickup were super fun to watch and really convenient. We moved out of the house, had the pods there for about a week, and then loaded everything into it. They were in storage for two months and then they were delivered to our new house. We unloaded everything. The pods were here for another week because I forgot to schedule the pickup and that was the only availability they had. But everything worked out pretty well.

    I think the only thing that was a bummer was we pushed back our delivery date seven days because our house closing got delayed. So they charged us another month of rent and we didn't get that month back even though our pods were delivered two days later. We still had to pay the whole month and that was. annoying. But overall, we were happy.

    I heard about PODS because a neighbor’s daughter used them for her move, so I just booked it online. It was fine and it worked. I liked that I could leave it stored right in my driveway. I didn’t have to have all my stuff carted away.

    I talked to the driver when he was here, and they were both very nice and very professional. The pod itself was clean, but the door wasn’t as smooth operating as I would have liked. Opening and closing the door was actually really difficult. The latch that you close to put the lock on was slightly bent, so it was hard to move, and the tracks could have been lubricated. I eventually had to have my husband do them.

    I am very aggravated and disappointed with the customer service I received from this company and the driver. On their website it strictly says a driver will contact you when delivering pod about placement details. I received no call when the driver arrived at my house, he just placed the pod wherever he wanted as he placed the container on our concrete which is not stable. It’s very concave and in the way of the remodeling construction crew. I asked for a driver to come back out to move the pod again and no one has responded back or made that happen. Also the driver when I called to speak with him about where he was said he had dropped off pod and was unable to place in grass where I requested as online it has the option to place on non-paved surface. Sounded like he wanted to get done and out of there as he did not care what happened.

    I had an issue when I first started the process. I called and spoke to a very nice person. I wasn’t ready to go ahead with it right then but she did give me a quote. When I went to call back, I spoke to someone different. It was completely different, from the way you paid and the amount. I wasn’t happy with that so I hung up. I called back again another time and I got a person that was closer and easier to understand the third time. That’s why I went ahead with PODS and after that, everything went smoothly.

    The communication was very good. They let you know when they were coming and they gave a three-hour window. Then the guys that came were very nice. The guy that dropped the pods off originally gave us some tips about the door. We were asking the driver when they delivered it if he would mind opening the door, which the man did without me asking. Everything went well.

    PODS is the most convenient way to move because they just drop the pod, you load it when you can, and you're not limited to this day and this time. The flip side is if you're not there, for example, when they delivered my pod, I wasn’t there, and even though I told the driver to push it way to the left of the drive so we can at least get one car into the garage, he was about two-thirds of the way over. But the pick-up driver was excellent. I was curious about how he loaded the thing with the PodZilla, and he was very open to showing it. Customer service is not the world's best. Just calling to schedule the delivery date took a 20-minute phone call. So, it's some good and some bad.

    It was a good experience getting everything done, but the website should be more honest with its communications and what it can actually offer. I ordered the pod because it said I could get it delivered in two days. I needed to have it picked up in a week, and there was nothing there that said I needed to wait two weeks. So, I ended up on a bunch of phone calls to see if I could get it picked up sooner. The lady that I talked to at the local building was amazing. She was able to get the pod picked up, get it all scheduled and straightened out for me. They were here on time, and they were in constant communication with me. They brought it to my new place, and everything was great, until I started getting phone calls saying that I owe them a bunch of money for a pod that I don't have anymore.

    Hired PODS to move from FL to TN. Did not have exact zip code but was told, "No problem. We will ship to TN and call us when ready." What was not said, but is buried in fine print is that they will determine if they will ship to the zip code. Which in my case they will not break the 50m radius (my house is 78m), mostly highway. 2 calls to out of country phone center and requests to talk to supervisor yielded no results. Their solution is, "Easy sir!!! Just get a moving van and come retrieve your stuff. Oh no. We won't pay for this but we'll make it easy for you to repack a 4 bedroom house into a moving truck."

    Overall I am happy with the experience, however the beginning wasn't without it's issues. Good stuff - POD was clean and spacious. Had plenty of room for my needs as the largest available container. It also had plenty of anchor points for bungee cords and strap downs to attach to. Once delivered it was picked up, moved to new location and removed when scheduled with notifications as to a time frame of pick up. Website is fairly easy to use to place orders.

    Negative aspects - Initial delivery didn't happen on date scheduled. NO communication informing me that it was late or delated. Only upon myself emailing, was I informed of the delay to a later time frame. Two additional delays in delivery time frame with no communication unless I reached out directly to a PODS team member. At the end of the delivery day I was informed that it wasn't being delivered on my last email. I was informed that a new delivery date would be delayed by days... I informed the team member that that wasn't acceptable as they already processed my payment and I was on a tight schedule for loading and moving purposes.

    They did process an exception and had the POD delivered next day. I do understand that issues happen however there is no excuses for the lack of communication and customer service. Lost a full day of loading with no compensation per original contract. The expense of the POD and poor experience in the beginning was enough to drop this to a 3 star review. This is not cheap however is convenient.

    I relocated from Albuquerque New Mexico to San Antonio Texas. The experience was Great until the final drop off in San Antonio. Instructions were given in advance on the placement of container. However, instructions were not followed and the container was placed several feet from the instructed location. I contacted PODS and after review of the instructions that had been given, I was assured that someone would come out to reposition the container and I would not incur a repositioning fee. I received an Invoice from Pods on 4-19-2025 which includes a reposition fee of $199 tax included, which is in dispute!!!

    I was hesitant to use PODS for my move based on a few of my neighbor's experiences, but when they assured me upon booking that there was enough complimentary insurance to cover any damages that may occur, I decided to give them a try. Upon delivery, I watched the driver tilt the units at a 30-45 degree angle and then drop/slam it onto the ground. This resulted in damage to multiple items, including a very stout, dining room table. When I tried to file a claim with PODS, it was rejected by the claims manager because the damage wasn't caused basically by an "Act of God" such as a hurricane, lightning, etc. Do not use PODS. They mislead their customers, damage your items, and leave you in the wind.

    This is my third experience with PODS, and I’ve loved every second of it. This time, I used them for an out-of-state move, and everything went just like it was supposed to. The delivery of the pod went flawlessly. They put it where I wanted to. And then they picked it up on time. 

    The customer service with PODS was fine, but it depended on who I talked to on the day I talked. I also had a communication issue. I’m from the south, and I don’t talk that great. Sometimes my redneck comes through. So, maybe I was not communicating. But I finally got through, and they understood, and we worked it out.     The delivery was good without issue. The POD had been recently painted as the paint was wet when I opened the door and as such I got paint on myself, my clothes and my hands. I managed to clean the paint off of my hands but ruined my pants and shirt.

    Drop off and pickup for me to fill my pod was excellent. Great communication. Only issue I had was scheduling delivery drop off and POD removal. Had to reschedule since there was a large gap between the two dates (2 weeks). I would recommend this service towards friends and family but I would ensure to inform them about delivery and pickup.

    Service was better than expected - drop-off and pickup windows were accurate and the container itself was well maintained. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. I particularly liked that PODS sorted the permit for placing the container in Denver, CO. I wish they were also able to do that in Austin, TX as that part of the move was a giant hassle. I felt pricing was fair (after discounts) and wish there was a monetary incentive for recommending PODS to friends.

    I received a quote from PODS on December 11 with the cost of $2,436.22 for "Move and Discounted 1st Month Container Rental." That amount included the Transportation Mileage. I placed my order. The container was delivered on December 26, picked up on December 30, delivered to the destination on January 11, and picked up on January 16. Regardless of the stated and agreed-upon quote, on December 24, I was charged $2498.04 for the transportation. On January 1, 2025, I was charged $504.71, and on January 12, $99.66. I contacted customer service and asked for a legitimate credit of $624.51 (2498.04 - 1873.53), which was an extra charge for the transportation mileage. Nevertheless, I did not get my money back.

    PODS seemed like it was the most affordable one in our area that I can find. I booked online and the process was easy. I interacted with the driver who delivered it, and he was good. Everything was perfect inside the container, and we got everything out. So, I was moving from an apartment to a house. And so, I need storage for a few months until my house was completed.     My brother had used them previously, so we went with PODS to store our furniture until our new house was built. We got three 16-foot containers, which were the largest size they had.

    The customer experience was just great. They were very helpful and accommodating the whole time. Delivering the empty pods to us and then delivering the filled-up pods back to our new place went seamless.
