The whole process was extremely organized and orchestrated. Felt always well informed. Was easy to reach an agent on the phone when I had a question. The delivery persons were very capable and took care to evaluate the drop off site. On initially delivery, it was recommended to make a slight change to protect nearby flowers. Very well done. Very impressed with the caliber of delivery/pick up persons. Would highly recommend to anyone. Also was grateful for the informed emails with reminders of action required by me. But the program was very explanatory to navigate. Well done!!

The pod was a perfect size for what we needed at the time! The price was great for a months rental. The delivery and pick up of the pod were on time and communication was great. I did think the drop off and pick up costs were a little high, but would use them again.

Had a great and seamless experience moving across the country. Customer service always quickly and accurately answered my questions. The drivers for drop-off and pickup were friendly and made sure the container was correctly placed. Finally the move out experience was incredibly easy and straightforward. I will definitely use PODs again.

Drop off and pick up went very well. Pod was dirtier than expected, but it all worked out well. I don’t complain, this is just feedback going forward. Good pricing and person who dropped off and picked up unit was on time, very pleasant and work well with me on placement of unit.

We were having our floors refinished and needed storage for our furniture. It was easy, despite our having to reschedule several times due to unforeseen situations on our end. They were timely at drop off and pick up. AND, my husband reconnected with his high school friend, the delivery driver!

Ordering was easy, communication was great. Scheduling for our needs. Change in delivery and storage was very easy. All the drivers were friendly, courteous, and communicated their schedule on delivery/pick-up days well. Pricing was fair; we happened to order during a discount period which was nice. I'd use PODS again if the need arose.

I rented a POD following Hurricane Helena while condo was being rebuilt. I needed a bigger size but, because of the situation, storage was hard to come by. Easy delivery and easy pickup. Unit was solid, clean, and so helpful. The problem is the cost. Even though condo is not finished I had to move stuff back in because I am running out of money.

Awesome service, personable staff and very competent drivers that could move the container accurately into small spaces. We were very impressed with the drivers abilities to move the large truck holding our unit into a small area and their ability to remove our unit off the truck and place it where it could be unloaded by us. The telephone staff were very patient with our questions and very knowledge. There were no worries about where the PODS would be stored until a new residence was found. Also we had keys to our PODS and with notification could go and remove items from our unit. All and all it was an exceptional experience.

From start to finish every detail was taken care of. Super easy online reservations for all stages of my move. Delivery, pick up, eight month storage and delivery and pick up after storage. Each stage went smoothly and everything arrived in perfect condition. Very courteous drivers and each maneuvered tight spaces expertly.

Excellent communication throughout the entire process. We were very pleased with PODS storage and delivery. Highly recommend everyone use them for their storage/delivery needs. 16 foot pod hold 2-3 rooms worth of stuff. For a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom 3000 sq ft house I should have got 5 pods. We filled the 3 we ordered and still got a 26 ft u-haul truck. Payment was as expected and delivery was on time. Hopefully I never move again, but it was well worth it. Love the fact that I could load and unload at my own rate unlike the u-haul that I had to do everything quickly and the stuff is still in my garage.

Every step of the process with PODS worked like clockwork. Ample notices were given about when arrival and pickup would occur, and we finished the move earlier than planned so we simply adjusted the final pickup date — all with ZERO hassle. Great service at a great price. I would recommend to anyone.

Pods worked great for my 500 mile move, including one month in storage until my home construction was completed completed. Customer service was helpful on quick turnarounds & the drivers did an excellent job of pod placement! I highly recommend Pods Storage & wouldn’t hesitate to use Pods again for a move.

PODS did a great job through the entire move. The only thing I wish they would have considered is refunding the days the container was not in use on the end verses charging the entire month. Very efficient with pickup and delivery, great customer service. The people on the phone was very helpful in assisting with the right POD. The POD are cheaper than movers with people assisting in the move but it allows me to pack up according to my liking. I did not have to be present at the time of the delivery or the pickup.

The service provided in my case was the rental for storage at my home during renovations and the service was very courteous and prompt. The rates were also affordable. I would recommend the service to a friend or family without hesitation. The only minor issue I had was the space it required in my driveway.

Overall, I found PODS' service pretty lackluster. The issues I had with with scheduling the initial delivery of my POD in LA. Were very frustrating and I thought the storage rates that were much more expensive than average. Additionally, despite the hefty fee I paid for transporting my POD from LA to NYC, there was damage (mostly cosmetic, but some structural) from transport on almost every item of my furniture. I would not use PODS again.

PODs was amazing. Loved the portal. It was very easy to use. We had to change our date. Drivers were helpful and very knowledgeable. Online Sales were very helpful.. We will use them again. We had friends that used another service that had nothing but problems and additional cost over run. We liked the option to easily change your move end date.

Using PODS was the easiest thing about my move. The pod was dropped off, picked up, stored, and delivered to my new house with no problems. I did not have to be there for anything. The service I received from PODS was exceptional. I had 4 containers for my move and they accommodated my schedule perfectly. Everything went very smoothly with PODS. The three gentlemen who either delivered or picked up the POD were very professional. My only complaint is that second guy who picked up the POD to deliver to my new home, did not call before he came. The other 2 gentlemen did. It was so easy for me. I had multiple days to fill the pod. It was transported miles away to a distant state. Stored until I was ready to have it brought and again time allowed to empty it. It was picked up and returned. Without this service I was looking at renting a truck, loading it, driving it across country, unloading into a storage unit, renting another truck, loading and driving to new home and unloading again and driving truck back to rental place. I was saved so much time, effort, and frustration in the overall move. It was worth it. Thank you for making this service available.

Overall, I'm very pleased with my experiences of PODS. One area for improvement relates to scheduling. It would be helpful to have the ability to community preferences for the timing window of a POD pick-up (recognizing that PODS drivers are working with a variety of orders and that all orders may not get their first preference). Communication of delivery windows is also a bit frustrating. To not know your delivery window until late (typically after 8:00 PM) the night before a delivery leads to things feeling rushed/makes planning more difficult. Additionally, having delivery windows changed the day of is really inconvenient.

The delivery/pickup was on time. Would recommend them to anyone making a major move. The drivers were friendly and courteous and very accommodating as to where to place the POD as I was moving from an apartment complex to another one. The price was less than hiring a full service moving company. Would use the again if needed.

Overall, it was a good experience with scheduling and delivery. The drivers were excellent and helped me as much as I needed to make sure things were working appropriately and I could actually get into my stuff after it shifts during the move. The only thing that was not great was the size of my pod. I know it’s difficult to estimate from what the customer says but my pod was too small and that required some juggling on my part. I don’t know if there’s an easier way or something more accurate that you can do to help the customer estimate the size they need but that’s my only issue. If I ever have to move again, I will probably call on Pods.

Delivery of the PODS for loading went smoothly. I wish I didn't have to give 3 days notice for changes because moving an entire house from MD to FL results in things arising that were not anticipated. Perhaps the rules could be different for long distance moves as opposed to short-term storage and the $150 change fee waived. The drivers who delivered the PODS to my new location were GREAT!!! 10 stars!

I entered into relation with Pods after some up front confusion, but with the need for flexibility of storage, pick up and delivery. And beside not ordering a big enough container, mostly my issue, the process once delivered was easy, flexible and perfect for our move. I would definitely use them again, but error on the side of larger pod next time. Also with flexibility learned to ask then what the cheapest days to book are around event, because some dates more expensive based on supply and demand.

My pods were delivered and picked up as expected. great communication—it is great to get a call from the drivers when they are on the way. I utilized a moving company to pack up my pods & between them & the handling & storage of my pods, nothing was damaged! It was also much cheaper than using a full service moving company for everything.

Great service on all aspects. Drivers made sure to follow specific delivery and pick-up instructions. Only issue was shifting of items upon delivery to final destination. Door was blocked but, driver was able to open door with little damage to contents. Fault was mine as I did not adequately secure some items. Used PODS twice and would use them again. Bargain moving option with professional, efficient, safe operations.

Price was affordable especially after I spoke with someone on the phone who gave me a much better rate than posted online. Drivers were always friendly and on time. Email communication was enough but not overwhelming. Have not received a bunch of spam since then. No items appear to have been damaged in storage or transportation. Very nice overall experience.

They were prompt, efficient and extremely kind. Their communication was top notch. We had an issue at delivery (not PODS fault at all) and the driver worked with us with zero hesitations to ensure our delivery was timely and as stress free as possible. The concept and containers themselves are nice, however the company has 0 customer service. They have apologists in other countries who answer a phone, and explain how they can’t do anything. My first container was delivered without issue on a Friday. A couple days before the move I ordered another and was told it would be there between 9am and 12am the next day. When it didn’t show up I called, and they said they could only deliver to my area on Tuesday. The movers were coming the next day. No one I talked to cared, or could affect any change. They won’t give you the number to the local facility. This caused a massive problem with my move, and it was probably the most stressful I’ve ever had thanks to PODS inability to do what they said. I had the container moved to our new place, and called them to pick it up on the 18th of November.
At that point they told me now they only deliver on Wednesday’s and the next two were booked up, but they would see if they had a cancellation. Worst case I was scheduled for DEC. 3. Well here we are and they haven’t picked it up. I spoke to another apologist who informed me that the previous apologist never scheduled the pickup and could do nothing but “open up a case” and then begged me for a 5 star review. The payment is due on the 5th and they are telling me they’ll have to open up a case to see if they won’t charge my card for another month's rent, since they can’t schedule pickup until the 10th. I guess I’m going to have to call back and make sure it’s scheduled. Now If I had to do it over again, I would purchase a shipping container and pay a moving company to move my stuff to the shipping container at the new location. Do not recommend.

Wish I could give them a great review. Unfortunately that’s not the case here. Book two pods. The dropping off the empty container problem there. These containers were to be believed to my house in Georgia November 24. First drop off beautiful. Now this is where I gets interested. The second pod I am yet to bless my eyes on. Today is November 27. I spoke to so many people. Everyone is is telling me different things. I am beside myself because that missing container has 99.9 percent of my things so would I recommend this company? Heck NO.

Updated on 12/06/2025: Just an update because PODS commented they would review the issue. I received an email yesterday that said they reviewed the issue and they’re not at fault. That was the level of additional customer service I received. I do find it amusing Pods responded faster to my public complaint posts than they did any other communications I tried. To have with them. My original opinion to steer clear of pods remains.
Original Review: We had a terrible experience with pods. On Friday November 14 the Bristol facility dropped off a pod that was - facing he wrong direction, had a broken lock, infested with bugs, and an incorrect size. When we attempted to reach customer service both their phone line and their website were down. By the time customer service was back online it was Monday the 17th. At that point we were told someone could come out and flip the pod around on the 18th. I was charged for this repositioning (73 dollars) even though written instructions indicated the pod should’ve been delivered the opposite direction.
When the driver came to flip the pod he let me know the pod was extremely dirty and broken and that he was embarrassed it had even been left with us. At that point I called PODS CS again and requested a new pod be delivered. I was told I could get a new pod delivered on Wednesday, November 19th. I was charged for this pod (yes, you’re reading that - I received three pods total, one of which was infested with bugs and I sent back unfilled. I was charged on my card for that).
The pod was delivered the 19th at 7am. I repeatedly had told customer service that I needed the pod to be off my property by the 21st at 9am because the home was closing that day. The pod was therefore picked up on the 20th around 5:30 pm. This essentially cut the time I was able to fill my pod to less than 48 hours, when I originally had 5+ days to fill the pod but could not because it was infested. Since that time my husband or I have called pods at least three times, and not until today November 26th was I told I would be refunded for the third pod I was charged for.
When I requested additional customer service in the form of some sort of credit for the time lost (again - at minimum four full days), and stress I was told I received a 100$ credit to compensate me for my time/stress and the 73 dollars I paid to have the pod repositioned. Essentially giving me a 27$ credit for the lost packing time and time spent on the phone with customer service simply being reimbursed for a service I did not receive. When I asked for the case to be elevated I was told there was nothing else to be done. When I asked for a copy of customer service transcripts where I was told by a CS employee I deserved at minimum a 400$ credit, I was told I’d have to have a lawyer request those documents through court. When I asked for assistance from my local Bristol pods facility, like a phone number for a manager, I was told that was not done.
I believe pods behavior was predatory and intentionally neglectful. I would not recommend pods to anyone and I am disappointed that this is the level of customer service provided after multiple requests for help and follow up.

I experienced friendly staff who helped make my cross-country move from California to Chicago easy and effortless. The team was on time, helpful and polite through out entire interaction. PODS team and the movers worked quickly and smoothly answering any questions I had and taking care with fragile items. We were finished loading and unloading well before my target time. Would 100% book again.

Pods Are The Worst! Pods nearly caused a moving catastrophe, by scheduling and confirming my delivery date and only when I called to get the delivery window (because I didn’t receive an email) did I find out that not only were they not delivering today (Sunday), they weren’t delivering tomorrow either because they only deliver to my area (only 35 miles from your facility), on Thursdays.
I was then told that perhaps, maybe, if the manager at the warehouse closest to me would permit, I could load the pod there and in the future it could be delivered. And perhaps they could deliver it tomorrow, but highly unlikely, yet there was no way to know until I called tomorrow morning and they don’t open till 9. By then my mover would be here.
I am furious. I have a truckload arriving tomorrow and had I not called, I wouldn’t have known and my belongings would have been stuck outside. The Pods service is terrible. I will never call on Pods again. Perhaps they should have human beings review what is booked on line-especially when you are going through tech system updates. What amazes me is the 10 emails I got asking me to confirm my delivery, and nobody flagged the order.

Absolutely unhelpful, and frustrating! This is the second time we’ve used Pods. The first time no problems. The people both my husband and I have spoken to not only give us different stories each time we call as to why we have not received our pods, but now my husband who originally called to make these arrangements apparently is considered a 3rd party person and they won’t give him all the information, because the person he spoke to didn’t add his name to the account, just his email, but he paid and he set up the pods order and added a second pod. But because they didn’t put him name and phone number, they just used mine from years ago, PODs customer service is not being helpful.
Back to us getting different stories when we called. We got an email stating our first pod would arrive on Nov 17, we got a second pod and a email that said it would be delivered Nov 20. Both those dates came with no text, no phone call, nothing, on Dec 21 I called, to ask what’s going on, both my pods should have been delivered by now. The girl told me one would be there the 24th, then said oh no actually they’ll be there Dec 3rd and dec 8th. I said no why is that? She said oh looks like we needed to sign a rental agreement. Um no you’ve already delivered pods, added a pod, and picked both of them up and told us days they’d be arriving. Why would we all of a sudden have a new agreement to sign without any notification? She had no answer.
How could pods have delivered pods, taken payment, and then picked up our full pods without any notification agreement signed? She said I just need to have my husband log in and sign the document or our contract would be canceled. I then call my husband who is now pissed because he says no no I called this morning and that’s not at all what I was told. The person he spoke to said nothing about an agreement but that their system was automatically sending incorrect delivery dates, but that the should be there Dec 3rd and 8th. Which doesn’t makes sense because they were picked up Nov 5th and the second one was picked up Nov 11th. Why would it take so long? The first time we used them it took two weeks and it was a further distance. This is unacceptable to not only get the runaround but to get multiple different stories.

Would never deal with them again. Gives you a quote for your needs then after agreement they change the price without your knowledge and erroneously charge your credit card. When you try to get to speak to someone you get nowhere. Horrible to deal with after you get your pod. I have to personally go to civil court to resolve. Not worth it. Go with Uhaul or moving company.

When we signed up for the service we were told that the delivery would take 6 to 8 days excluding Sundays. The reality is it took 22 days. We also found out they can only ship 8 and 16 foot PODS - the 12 foot PODS are only for local storage. We also found out they only deliver to our destination on Tuesdays. We were never given a telephone number to call for service and support - the number they gave us was only for sales assistance. Service was provided through an online chat that frequently did not respond. They also lost the delivery driver instructions during an IT system upgrade. All in all it was a terrible experience.

We have been beyond frustrated with our experience in so many ways. We called to have our pod picked up Sept 26, 2025 and told them to come ASAp because rain was forecasted. They attempted to pick it up several days later after it rained but the driver didn’t listen to our directions on how to successfully get to the pod and tore our yard up and was not able to get the pod (but was ably to drive out of the Yard!).
They rescheduled but didn’t call, text or show up for the rescheduled date. I rescheduled and they didn’t pick it up until the next billing cycle! And the driver wouldn’t listen to directions on how to enter the yard as the original driver who dropped it off did and again tore the crap out of our yard! We called because we were billed for an additional month and were told that it would be credited to our account which it wasn’t. After over an hour on the phone tonight we were told the ticket was closed because they didn’t have a reason for the cancellation. We have no idea why your driver didn’t show up, call, text or anything! I called after to schedule another date… not my fault the driver didn’t show up! After an hour on the phone tonight I still don’t believe we have resolution on our refund. Customer service is terrible!

The company's communication is terrible. They came to pick-up my POD and because a lock was on it, they simply left. No communication or reason why. When I called, they refused to refund and booked my next pick-up for 10-days later. Honestly, this company inability to make simple business decisions tells me all I need to know about them.

Customer service told me no issue on being flexible with drop off, as building a new home…very common for delays. After paid several hundred dollars, that was not the case. The rep told me the bill can be revised longer or shorter. Beware. I was deceived. They do not do that. If that was the case would have went elsewhere.

We scheduled everything via phone with PODS. Info was never added to the account. The actual drop off date ended up being 2 1/2 weeks after the scheduled date because they failed to put in the info. When we called them on it they shrugged it off and said there is nothing they can. Not a smooth process for delivery. Drivers were great.

Operators were efficient and friendly, handled all my requests quickly. Although one of the containers arrived with forklift damage, fortunately our belongings weren’t damaged by this.

We used a POD during our home renovation for about a year, and the entire experience was great. Delivery and pickup were both easy, and I really appreciated the frequent text and email updates about arrival times. Both employees we worked with were very friendly and professional. The container itself worked perfectly for our needs. Our local scouts are using PODS for temporary storage while we build a new shed — that’s how good the first experience was!

Was wonderful from start to finish. I tried to get quotes from similar shippers and did not feel comfortable. Pods took care of everything and the young men who dropped off and picked the pod were courteous and kind. Making a move across country is scary enough. And the best thing nothing arrived damaged. We had a great experience with PODS. I booked three of their largest pods, the 16-feet pods. It was a big move. They stored them until they were delivered to the house. The whole move happened within the month. So, we rented the pods for a month. It all worked fine. The service was excellent. Everybody was great. As far as the shuffling, that has nothing to do with the pod. It has a lot more to do with the packers. We used a company that they recommended called Pack & Load and they were excellent, too. We had a 2,500 square feet house we packed up. We've unpacked most of the fragile things and nothing got broken.

We rented a container from PODS and had it shipped across the country from California to Texas, and then had it in storage for four months. We booked online and it was simple. We got the 16-foot container, which was the biggest one they had, and we filled it. They were very informative on when they would come, they came on the days I wanted them to come, and they were very polite and quick. Overall, the process was a very simple thing to do, and it was successful, and we're happy with the outcome.

I was having the garage floor refinished and I used PODS for temporary storage of the items in the garage. I went online to book the pod and it was a little confusing at first but it was fine once I got through it. The communication was very good with what was going on, when the team was coming and when they were gonna be there. PODS did what they were supposed to do. I used a 16-footer pod, which is the biggest one that they have. I wouldn't wanna go any smaller. It made it so it was convenient to walk around inside. I could have gone to the one down, but I would have been crammed. The price was $30 to $50 higher than I thought it was gonna be. But that's inflation and that's just maybe what the business is. PODS did a great job.

We went with Pods because they can leave the pod on site, so we had time to pack as well as unpack at our leisure. I had two different reservations. I did one online, and then I had to call in for the other one 'cause the pod had to be moved. We got 16-foot pods and the drivers were fantastic. Every drop-off and pick-up was great. However, the door was stuck on one of the pods and it was tough to open and close.

I was very skeptical about my move. All the horror stories over the years. But it was not like that at all. You know everything upfront. No hidden cost! If you’re running behind loading, you can change your schedule. The drivers who delivered and picked up were very courteous and called you when they were on their way Customers Service was wonderful. I needed a temporary storage unit because I was having work done on my house. I knew PODS was reputable, and I didn't wanna get mixed up with someone that wasn't. I went online and ordered a pod. I went with the largest because the medium and the large was the same price. It was easy to navigate their website. I haven't had any problems.

We booked a 20 footer online and my wife said it was too big for our storage needs, but when we used it, it was just the right size. Pickup and delivery were easy and straightforward. I met the delivery guy and he said, "Where would you like to put it?" He was very accommodating and made some suggestions on where to put it. It was placed right in our front driveway and it wasn't the most ideal place, but it worked out really well. It was like a staging area for our renovation.
The delivery guy was cool as he dropped the pod and maneuvered it just right. I wasn't even there when he picked it up. When I came home, it was gone. We thought the cost was a little on the expensive side, but when people plan on only having the pod for a month and things extend so that it ends up being two months, it's not the company's fault. All in all, we had a great experience and I would highly recommend Pods.

I loved the fact that with PODS, you could just put your stuff right at your door. You didn't have to load it up and move it out. You could just pack your house right there at your house and do it within your timeframe. I used PODS for storage because I moved in with my sister. So, I didn't need all of my stuff. What we both didn't need, we just kept it. PODS was wonderful.
When I had the pod stored with the PODS warehouse, I didn't have any issues. It didn't leak. I would go in to dust and clean because they can't get in and do that. But it was very sturdy. I had no issues on worrying about if my stuff was gonna get damaged if they moved it or if we had a hurricane. I would recommend it 100% to anybody. I was with PODS for quite many years. They're very friendly. Your pod is accessible whenever you need it.

The first time that I used PODS, the pod size was not big enough so I had to get a storage. But the second time around, the size worked out. The drivers that picked up and dropped off were really nice on both occasions. The call center was okay. There was a couple of times where they withdrew payments on the wrong day and then there was one time that they did it twice in one month. Some of their customer service people weren't nice. PODS was a little expensive. I thought that by me needing another pod in the same contract, they will give me a little discount but they didn't. But overall, I will recommend them.

We were moving about 12 miles, just in the same area and Pods had a good recommendation for good service and communication. I got two 16-foot pods for moving. I booked both on the phone and online. On the phone, the reps had good communication and they took care of me. The online part was very simple and quick as well. They had links to send to my email after I got everything set up with my accounts. They also sent texts with links. So, I went right to my account and adjusted the dates. The drivers were very good too. I had one container that still had some stuff in it, so the guy took that one pod and rescheduled me a couple of hours later. He came back and picked the second one up. It was very well done. All in all, I had a great experience with Pods.

I booked containers from PODS over the phone. I received excellent service. Everything went well, especially when they had to come pick the containers up to bring them to my new house. I needed to be at a certain timeframe because I had the other guys putting the last bit of furniture in. The lady from PODS was able to let the driver know a certain time and that worked out well. He called me, too, so that I can make sure because I was underneath a lot of stress at that time.

We were redoing our garage and somebody else in our neighborhood had a pod out. We said, "Oh, that looks good." We booked the largest one that Pods rents out, then we moved everything out of the garage and put them in there. Everything fit 'cause my husband was really smart and he figured it all out. We did the garage floor, got everything done, and then moved our stuff back in. The metal container was clean and it did its job. It was not a condo on the Riviera, but it was perfect. I'm really satisfied with Pods. My only concern is that because of my age, I found the online stuff a little difficult to navigate.

I had to change my itinerary and plans several times after setting up an account with PODS this last summer. These changes were nothing I could control and PODS handled the changes with grace and professionalism. Or I should say, Johnny ** handled my account and made all the changes necessary. I couldn't have done it without him and I am very grateful to him. I am a tech novice and need help managing anything online, so Johnny was indispensable.
Once the plans were settled, the POD arrived and was picked up on time. It also was delivered to the right place on the right day. It was all very efficient and safe. Buying their lock was a good idea because the design makes it probably impossible to cut open with a metal cutter. Everything in the POD was exactly as it was packed and nothing was damaged or broken. If I have to move again, I will contact PODS, but only if I Johnny ** can be the one to support and guide my experience.

The booking process was very easy online. On PODS' website, they described how much the pod would hold. Through that, we were able to calculate it. We needed a two-room pod and that was what we got. After ordering it online, PODS called and they were out. They explained how to open the door, gave us a key lock, and we were good. The pod was clean, and it made it through a bunch of storms, so it was very sturdy. We got it the middle of September, and we gave it back the end of October. So, we had gone through many storm and wind, and there were no leaks. It worked good. If you need to put something in there while you're remodeling, renting a pod would be an awesome way to do it because you have it right there in your driveway. I couldn't tell you how many times we were in and out of it because there were things we needed.

Good experience minus the lack of communication on location of my pod. POD picked up 11/24. Went to storage in FLORIDA. NOT ONTARIO Where I was being charged storage in US dollars. 11 months later when I was moving into a permanent home I called for delivery and discovered my pod was still in Fl. Waiting for a letter stating WHY I was moving to Canada. This had been stated several times and written on the customs form. I did end up getting my pod on time. But the fact I was charged 369.00 month US instead of Canadian was a huge extra charge.

Each step from start to finish was easy. The POD was essential to our remodel. I changed the pickup date three times with no issues. Make sure you know all the charges in the beginning. There was a pickup fee that I wasn’t aware of. Great chance that was my fault.

I had to call a couple of times because my credit card would show a transaction but I could not match the cost to an actual service. This should be corrected. When I get an e-mail for a service, i.e. pickup / delivery, the cost of that service should be included in the email. Then I would know what I am being billed for. This is not the current practice.

I contacted PODS for my relocation from Austin to a nearby city. They made the process really easy by providing a portable storage container that I could load at my own pace. I had about 15 boxes and some furniture, all securely packed. PODS picked up the container on time and delivered everything without damage. A family member had used PODS a couple of years back and I liked that I would be able to put my furniture and belongings into a place where I didn't have to worry about, so it would be safe, and I could unpack it at my leisure. I called PODS, and the rep I spoke with asked me what my requirements were because I wasn't sure what size pod I needed or how long it could stay in my driveway before they loaded it into a secure environment. She was good and answered all my questions.
When the pod was delivered, the driver wanted to make sure there was enough room so it wouldn’t tear up my grass. At the time, I was selling my house, and he was very careful. It cut up a little on the side, but not much. It was muddy, but overall, he did a good job. He dropped the pod off, gave me my keys, explained how the pickup would work, and answered my questions about where to place it in the driveway so my family could easily load things into the pod. He knew what he was doing, and that helped a lot.
The pod was clean and very sturdy when it arrived. It took us about two weeks by the time I got my family together and packed the pod. It had plenty of storage. I was even debating putting a chair on it, but there was more than enough space. When I ordered it, the person I spoke with was accurate about what size I needed. The crew was timely and kept everything safe. The only thing that was a little concerning was when it was dropped off at my apartment to unload. The furniture had shifted during transit, which put a lot of pressure on the door, so it took two people to get it open. That’s something people should be warned about, or there should be a safer way to keep things from shifting.
Using PODS was a worthwhile venture and I would recommend it. It’s a little pricey, but considering what people usually store in it, it made sense for me. I had furniture and clothes, nothing that needed climate control. I appreciated the insurance for theft and fire, since I didn’t have anywhere else to store my things. As we were unloading the pod, my son-in-law also had a truck there and that worked for us. Anything we didn’t want, we moved straight from the pod into his truck and took it to the dump. I’d recommend that people do that. Put as much as you can in the pod, then sort it out when you unload once you know where you’re going.

Deliver 3 PODS, pick up after we filled them, store for 7 months, deliver to new house, and pick up when emptied. Prompt service when called, and professional driver service. I like the fact that PODS can hold the pod at their storage location indefinitely or you can pay monthly, and then have it redelivered, which is a great feature. I got three of their 16-foot-long pods. They were in good shape. They were very nice and clean. The last pod was supposed to be picked up two days before closing of my home when the new owners are gonna take ownership. But PODS kept changing the pickup date and the time. The time kept slipping. I was at the house waiting and then it ended up going to the next day and I was freaking out because I didn't know if it was gonna slip another day with the new owners coming into the house. So, it was very stressful. But the first two pods were phenomenal. They were great delivery people, pickup and delivery. Overall, I'm still happy.

PODS delivered the container and found a spot to put it. We used it for however long and called recently to have it picked up. The gentleman that came to pick it up called me and he said that as long as he could get to it, I didn't need to be here, and it was gone. The only thing is that the pod is not quite as sealed as I would like, but then it is what it is. When you live in an area where you can have critters, they get in there.

I was redoing my house, so I had to move my furniture out and then back in. I reached out to PODS and booked one of their containers. It was right in our driveway, so there's no problem. It was very convenient. I got the 16 feet pod because they didn't have the size below that in stock. I probably needed it at the rate I was going. Plus it was at the same price. They didn't charge me any more for it. I used them for about six weeks, and I paid for two months. I also had to change the dates, with the delay with the remodel, and they were very accommodating.

I wasn't sure when my new place was gonna be ready and Pods offered storage as well. That was an incentive for me to go with them. I originally started booking a 16x8 pod online, then I called in and found out they also do military discounts, so I ended up booking over the phone. The discount helped me tremendously with cost-efficiency. Almost 90% of my stuff went in into the pod. Some shifted and there were some damage, so I filed a claim. Pods emailed me once I sent in all the paperwork they requested along with the photographs of everything, but I'm still waiting to hear back about that the claim.

I got the largest pod and it accommodated everything I needed and wanted. I wish it’d been bigger, but it is what it is. PODS' price was a third of the price of a big moving company. I also hired movers to load it and unload it, and all that total was still a third of the price.

Pods are a convenient way to try and move from one state to the next. The drop off was easy. It’s just all the work to pack and load the pod. That is the hard part. It is costly to keep hiring someone else.. Move was 1000 miles.! Drop off again was excellent. The drivers with the machinery are very knowledgeable and very careful where they place the POD. No problems at all with that service.

I used PODs for an interstate move and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an option for moving, even just locally. Booking was extremely easy - I chatted with a customer service representative online and it was a very simple process and all of my questions were answered even via chat. I love that you can manage all of your move details online, and making any changes is very easy and you’re not locked into anything at the time of booking. My details were still very fluid when I booked but going in later to update things was a very simple process and they give you a generous amount of time up until the day of drop-off to still make changes. I received a ton of communication throughout the process so I was never left wondering if my POD was really coming or when.
The delivery windows are very accurate, and you get a call from the driver when they’re on their way as well, which I loved as I had a very specific spot I needed the POD on my initial delivery. The fact that delivery/drop-off can be completely contactless is wonderful as well - the delivery drivers are all very clearly qualified and experienced doing this so they really don’t need any help unless you have special circumstances for placement (just make sure you follow the guidelines in the emails leading up to delivery).
In terms of transit to my new state - I put an AirTag in my POD just to be on the safe side and my POD was on the road within a day - in fact, they delivered my POD a day early in my new state which was wonderful. Love that the costs are all upfront and reasonable, especially if you book during a promo, and there’s no hidden fees or extra costs that come up. The price is the price. Much prefer this than to full service movers who nickel and dime you for little things as your move takes place.
Lastly, I used PODs labor booker for movers to load and unload my POD and had a great experience using the platform, and the movers themselves that I booked were all wonderful - on time, worked hard, got the work done in the time I booked, and took wonderful care of my items. I had no broken items or furniture in my new location - anything that did break was just due to poor packing on my part. 10/10, highly recommend, and will 100% use PODs again should I need it!

This is how a business should run. Phone call, agreed on cost, set up dates, PODS on their end did everything that was agreed in a timely fashion. Upon return delivery of pod the driver didn’t follow placement info and left the pod blocking the sidewalk and more than 20 feet away from placement spot. Neighbor said driver urinated along side the truck. I called to get pod moved and it would take 2 days before they could come back so I refused that and was given 3 extra days at no charge because the distance was much further that I expected the pod to be. The next month of billing started 10/17 we were charged a full months fee when we had turned in the pod before the new billing cycle with the 3 day extension. We shouldn’t have been charged at all but it took 4 or 5 phone calls to get it all straightened out waiting more of my time & adding to my frustration of having to deal with all the unnecessary complications of getting the pod back.
It seems that you were hoping I wouldn’t catch the charges and made it very difficult to get my money back because every time I called I was told that I was refunded back half the amount and it should’ve been the full amount. Last call I made was to get the $10.63 back that wasn’t supposed to be charged. It was quite a bad experience to have to fight to get it straightened out.

Dealing with the office was easy and pleasant, very helpful. Both drivers placed the PODS perfectly where I needed them. And didn’t rut my wet yard up! I will use them again if I need it. My credit card had changed and I forgot to change my autopay! They didn’t come pick it up with my things still in it, I just had to catch up on my account. Any storage facility would just sell my belongings with letting me try to pay it.

Remodeling our basement. Needed to temporarily move our furniture to replace the carpet. It was a good solution to move it out to the driveway and back again a week later. They delivered the POD on time and picked it up when we called to have it picked up. The door was a bit beaten up but it worked ok. The rest of the POD was in good shape.

Renting the PODS unit was the best choice for me as I was closing on the property I sold and the property I bought on the same day! I was going to have it placed on the street as I had a steep driveway, but the driver convinced me it would work out just fine by putting it in the driveway. I’m glad I took his advice, because it was so much easier to load than having to walk down the steep driveway to load! I would definitely use your PODS again if needed!

My move, downsizing from a two story, four bedroom home to a half size, senior friendly, single floor home took 13 months. Having my pod in the driveway made my sorting and keeping process doable. I was able to keep donate and throw away. I hired pods recommended moving help to load and unload my pod. Their help was invaluable. The actual delivery, pick up, storage, and re-delivery of the pod itself was timely and efficient. Pods was not the least expensive service but as far as I’m concerned, they were the best.

So much easier than a storage container. With the pod, you just have to load it once and then unload it. With storage you have to load it, bring it, unload it, when it’s time you have to load it, bring it to your house and unload it. Pods is so much better.

The whole experience was smooth. We were worried because we were moving cross-country. But everything went great! We coordinated the dates that we wanted the PODS (we had 2 16-foot ones) at our new house. The people on the phone explained the process and where the PODS would be stored after coming from Arizona. (They didn't come directly to the house). The drivers were fantastic when they dropped off the PODS. The driveway isn't as wide as we first thought. But the drivers were careful and the PODS fit perfectly in the driveway. We were extremely pleased all the way around with the whole process.

When I moved about 17 miles, I booked a 16-foot pod and the price was acceptable. The 16-foot pod was enough for my needs. It was my first time with Pods and they were excellent. I booked with Pods online and it was fairly easy. However, every time I logged on to my account, it kept saying I had to change my password. That was a pain in the neck. Also, the customer service guy talked me into getting an 8-foot, which was too small. When they came, I said, "There's no way this is working for me.” So, then I got another one. I had a 16-foot, but I didn't really need it. I needed a 12-foot, but they don't do 12-foot across country. But my experience with the drivers was good. However, they didn't change my delivery date along the way as the same as it was prior and they weren't ready to deliver for another week. Then when I wanted to have it picked up, it was here at my new residence for longer than I wanted.

Using PODS is very convenient if you're having something done in your property. It's a great experience. They will come at the time that they promised and then pick up the pods afterwards on the time and date they promised. But PODS should explain more to the customers or put in your website the required room area or space that is needed for each kid of pod. They should maket that easier for customers to see. Also, I needed the pod for two weeks but their pricing is good for a month. It would be better if they could just make a breakdown. If somebody needs the pod for just a couple of days or a week or two, they should also have that kind of pricing.

We had to move my renters out of a couple of rooms. So we needed a smaller area to put the stuff in while we were getting it redone. We got the largest container from Pods and it worked out perfectly. However, I was surprised by the price at the end because I didn't quite understand they needed to charge me extra for picking it up. That should have been included in the thing. So that was a little confusing at the end. But their customer service was good. The people who came out were pretty good and they worked with us. Some information didn't get transmitted to the person who was delivering and then picking up and they were flexible enough to make that work.

My experience with Pods was awful representatives of the company. Hardly understand what you’re explaining to them. They constantly try to push the price higher then when something goes wrong with your items inside the pod they wanna deny that insurance was in place only to receive an email that we charged you an error for insurance and our refunding you your money for the insurance after the items in your pod broke.
The loss was a $2000 TV which pods didn’t wanna honor. I have pictures of the pod being impact with bubble wrap and blankets securing any breakable items. I am taking them to small claims court. They do not wanna honor my claim. I would not recommend this company, even though it is a monopoly. Be sure to listen to customer service when they’re speaking, even though they don’t speak the proper English and what they’re explaining. All they know is to tell you it’s gonna cost you this much and it’s gonna cost you that much. Would you like me to put it in place? They do not explain carefully what it covers and what does not cover my loss for a $2000 TV. Thank God it wasn’t something else. I would not recommend this company and how they representative.

Several days ago I booked a same-day drop-off and pick-up for Monday, November 3, 2015. Today, Saturday November 1, 2025 your scheduling department called to say your Los Angeles facility can no longer provide same day service and that PODS must reschedule for drop off on November 3 and pick-up November 4. I informed your scheduling department that I DO NOT AUTHORIZE any changes to the schedule and to keep the same schedule as PODS previously confirmed with me via several emails and text messages and in the contract I signed with PODs, which is now in breach because of PODS' actions.
10 minutes after ending the call with your scheduling rep I received an email from PODS saying that “I requested a change” stating the schedule has changed to drop-off November 3 and pick-up November 4, which I did NOT request and as I said above I did NOT authorize. I have previously scheduled my moving company to arrive at the move site according to the schedule PODS that I agreed and paid for, November 3, 2025. PODS obviously has chronic and egregious issues with customer service, communication, and fraud.

Pods were great but the company doesn’t employ smart people. They had my dates and times messed up from the beginning and still continued to mess things after pickup. Called and got yelled at by them. Do yourself a favor and don’t use them. I would have rather rented something else from someone else.

When we finished using the pod, we did what we were supposed to do to have it picked up. When the second driver texted that he was on his way, I told him we weren’t going to be home, that I had removed the lock, and that I had swept it out. It was in my driveway and ready for him. He simply replied, “No problem,” so I thought the second guy was way better than the first guy.

I had to move 650 miles and I thought PODS was a simple and less expensive way to move. I got the 16-foot, but we should have had another pod because there was not enough room. After you book it, you have to do it online and confirm things, but everything was as it was explained and I didn’t have any trouble with it. The price was also exactly what they quoted me. I had used PODS before when we moved from California to Panama City Beach and was happy with their service. So, I chose them again because I moved from Florida to Ohio, and then stored my belongings with them for a short time.
When the pod was delivered, they couldn’t get the door open. The pod delivery man had to lay down on the ground and try to unjam whatever was in the way, and stuck something underneath to pry the door. It was not easy, but he eventually got it open.
At first, they told me I needed an 8-foot pod because they didn’t provide 12-foot pods for that move distance. The 8-foot pod was not big enough. I filled a 16-foot, but then I had to pay $75 to get a bigger pod when I wanted the bigger pod to start with, which I didn’t think was right, and they talked me out of it. The price that I paid was a little high.

We went with PODS because we wanted control over our move, and we also found that utilizing PODS was a much cheaper route. I booked over the phone, and it was super easy. We got an 8-foot, and we did have to throw some stuff away, but if we had gotten the 10-foot, it might’ve been too big, and everything would have been falling over more. The lady driver who dropped off the pod was a huge help when the door was jammed ‘cause she was strong and we managed to get it open.

Terrible service and mismanagement. Their driver won’t drop PODs in front of my house. It causes me too much trouble to move out from the house. The driver won’t drop it on my lawn too, although the salesperson agrees.

My husband and I were moving from Texas to Idaho and decided PODS would be the best idea. We felt like we could get everything in the 16-foot container. I wanted to go to the original company that started the whole movement of these containers. From the very beginning, everything was very smooth. They’re very professional and thorough. They were very good about all of the discounts and applied them to our account.
PODS tell you when they’re gonna come and give you a window. I was there ‘cause I wanted to see how they unload the container. I was a little concerned because the pod seemed very old, with dings, dents, and wear and tear. But I could see there were no cracks in the fiberglass or the roof, so I felt it would be protected. I didn’t think they would put a pod out there that was compromised.
We had it on the property for just three days, and then it went on to the PODS property for a couple of months. We had to change the date a couple of times, but when the whole thing came together, it was good. I felt their pricing was fair and they stay on a schedule. I even went on Nextdoor and people were saying PODS was great. That gave me more assurance so I could say how wonderful the program is.

I’m in Delaware and I am moving into a new house in Florida. I've seen PODS so I knew about them. I had questions when I reached out and each one was answered. I called numerous times to find out more information, and if they didn't know, they found out. I asked if people usually put down something underneath the pod when it's being delivered with the furniture on it, and they said, "Not usually." The gentleman that delivered the pod with the furniture in it said it was a first. He said, "You got a landing pad for me." I got some wood ordered from Home Depot and put down runners, a 4 x 8 ply, cut in half, and used that so that the weight wouldn't be directly on the perimeter of the pod. This way, it was spread out because of the ply that was put down.
We had a new house, so it's new cement. When they go to pick up the pod, it can jostle a little to one side or the other or front to back when you put the hooks on, and it did. It's only a little bit, but it would have carved into the new driveway. It worked out good, no marks. I was glad that I took that precaution and put those pieces of wood down.
I would suggest that to a lot of people don't know that. People aren't gonna be happy campers with the damage. PODS can put it in their information kits. It’s a 16 feet piece of plywood cut in half, so it would be two of them on each side. This way, instead of 4 feet, you'd get 2 feet on each side of the framing of the box. On the front and the back, one sheet cut, and you put that in the middle. That way, the whole framing of the entire box is all taken care and spreading out the weight, in case the load shifts.
It was a very good experience. PODS came, picked up the box, and dropped it off when they were supposed to. They were on the ball. I loaded it myself with a little help from my wife. The hooks in there were on the ball with where they're positioned to hold back anything that might shift when it's being picked up or maneuvered into the warehouse, into a lot, or put on the ground. Whoever is gonna load it could use either ropes or tie-downs because they can pull it and strap it in and hold the load back. If done right, nothing's gonna shift.

It was so easy to access PODS information and easy to schedule. The price was good too. It was a breeze to navigate their system. I got the medium size pod, 16 x 8 feet and was very clean. Being so lightweight, I was surprised how sturdy it was.
I didn’t meet the incoming driver but the driver who picked it up, Antonio, was great. He’s got a specialized lift that he moves around with a remote-control thingy. It was like watching him play a video game. It was fascinating watching the specialized equipment PODS had for delivering and picking up the pod. I had to go out there and watch it. It was really cool.

I used PODS a few years ago. I got 12-foot pods both times and the size was just right. Their service is fast, easy and one of the cheapest. I looked at Pack Rat when I did it the first time and PODS was the cheapest. Their website couldn’t be easier too.
Although I wasn’t there for the delivery, the driver communicated when he was on his way. I left good instructions for where I wanted it placed at both locations and he nailed it perfectly both times.

Overall very pleased with PODs. The online platform and the telephonic customer service reps were both outstanding. Drivers were good and always on time. Called ahead as well. I used PODS for moving. Heard about them through word-of-mouth. I went online and also spoke with a representative to set up everything. They were more expensive than an alternative similar company. Overall the experience in New Orleans and transport to Seattle was great. But once in Seattle we struggled twice with the same driver, he didn't want to drop off and pick up our pod because of parking space, he wasn't really clear on his instructions and presumed we knew how to save a spot on the street for the PODs. The other drivers that did drop off and take the POD were really nice and made things work.

We were buying and selling a house, but there's no way that we could do a U-Haul and rent one of those storage facilities. We didn’t know how long it would take to pack up the house and move it to storage and then have the storage unit moved. I researched a more streamlined way to do it, and I found PODS.
It went well and they were nice all around, from calling PODS to interacting with the driver. I got a 30% discount, which saved us some money. It was a very stressful situation, but we did not have to worry. It was good that the pod was there because we were able to move our stuff in there as we went along. We knew we had to be out of the house and they could take our things to their facility. It was really nice that we didn’t have to give them an end date. Once we found out our previous house had closed, we were able to have them take it from their storage area to drop it off at our new house.

I needed to move from Florida to Pennsylvania and didn’t have a place where I could store my stuff. PODS had exactly what I needed for a competitive price. The customer service was excellent. They brought the 16-foot pod and placed it exactly where I needed it. We loaded it. They came on schedule and picked it up when they said they would. They kept it for about three months in a nearby area where we finally moved. It was just the easiest and best way to do the move, and everything was done very professionally. It was easy to book the pod and they sent out reminders all the time. They gave us a date that we wanted and it was delivered on that date. They called with a time frame ahead of time and it arrived within that. Then, we filled the pod up. We called and said we needed it to be picked up. They were right there like they said they would be.
It’s kind of expensive because I had to store mine for four months but I had no other choice. Other than that, it’s a wonderful experience. I’ve recommended them to a couple of friends and I told them it’s stress-free.

We used PODS because we had to empty my son’s apartment so we could redo it, and then we moved the stuff back in again. Booking the pod wasn’t bad. The representatives were helpful and explained everything. The delivery guy was also nice and pleasant, and explained how it was gonna sit and where we were gonna put it, and helped us decide where would be the best place. And the pod was clean. It was perfect for what we needed. We didn’t need a lot of space. We just needed to put his furniture in it ‘cause he didn’t have enough room for it in his garage. We didn’t have any trouble with PODS at all. It showed up when it was supposed to, and then they came and picked it up right away.

I had what I considered to be a very hectic move with multiple aspects of the move going wrong. I guess it was optimistic of me to think I could empty a house of 40 years of memories and thousands of useless but private records of paperwork from before shredder was purchased! I can’t think of a single part of the move that went as smoothly as using a Pod. They delivered it when they said, picked it up when they said and delivered it more than 800 miles away without a scratch. Every person along the way was professional and personable! I had ordered 2 Large PODS for my move. In speaking with the representative, we discussed how it all works and the true size needed for my move. It came to two large and possibly one small. I opted out of the small. The drop-off and pick-up for both states were truly amazing. The drivers know how to place and pick up their PODS. The overall experience was super.
I packed one myself with boxes and totes and had a service do the second with the furniture. If organization could have helped this process it would have been to get all the packing done of the n=boxes and crates first before loading. The timing of everything didn't allow for this as I was still living in the house, with building one in the second state. Possibly a service that does this professionally would have been a good thing. Trying to save a little money doing it oneself is good, but tiring. The representative gave good advice and recommendations. The days of pick-up and drop-off being twice a week actually works very well for coordinating times. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, even if it was just for storage.

I moved from crazy Portland, Or back to my hometown in Florida. PODS made it easy! I packed everything in the container, and the driver picked it up and off it went. The container was delivered on the day I requested. I went to ** and got two guys to unload my container. I went on the pods website and requested my empty container to be removed and a driver came two days later to pick it up. It was worth every penny to move from Portland and it could not have been any easier!!!!

I was very happy with the crew from Pack and Load services. They were quick, efficient, and friendly. I was far less happy with my experience with HQ. It was necessary to reconfirm (fine) but no one answered the call (I tried 5 times). I finally reconfirmed with the broker. In addition, if you really have to call the call center, be prepared for a half-hour on hold.

The second operator that the PODS assigned to deliver my second container seems inexperienced, as he was struggling to straighten the wheels of his podzilla and had several attempts to put the container down. He damaged my pavers due to his too many attempts. He even paused to call probably their office to seek advice on what to do. I did not catch his name as he never introduced himself. He did not call me in advance like other operators; he just showed up in my driveway and did not bother to talk to me nor my husband.
He did not leave a flyer, just like the prior operators and this guy left in a hurry and discreetly, we didn't even see him leave. I took video and photos of the damages he caused and PODS claim representative denied the claim because "I signed a waiver". HAD I KNOWN THAT PODS WILL SEND INEXPERIENCED OPERATOR then I wouldn't be signing up for anything or let alone choose PODS! I had plenty of options, UPack, Ratpack and decided to go with PODS my mistake! My family living in two different cities in California, are moving to Florida soon BUT I AM NOT RECOMMENDING PODS and will share my experience with PODS DAMAGING my NEW DRIVEWAY.

I couldn’t leave ZERO stars, but this was the worst horrible experience. My pods were not delivered when they were supposed to then they charged me an extra month of storage with no pro-ration. I called and got nowhere with the rep or supervisor. I definitely would not recommend PODS to anyone.

We were very pleasantly surprised by our experience using PODS! Everything went smoothly with pickup, transportation, and drop off. The customer service was great, and when I called with questions every representative I talked to was helpful and friendly. There was a little bit of water on some boxes in my POD when it was delivered, but luckily none of our belongings were damaged. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely use PODS again with a long-distance move or recommend it to others for that purpose!

We used 2 of the large pods to move from Ohio to SC. We staggered the delivery and pick up dates to allow for easier packing and unpacking. Every single driver was extremely professional, helpful and kind. Our pods were dropped off on time, each with a notification beforehand. We would HIGHLY recommend PODS to anyone!

I have used 3 16' PODs to relocate from Oregon to Florida. So far all the deliveries and pickups have gone well. My last POD is in transit to Florida now. I intend to use it for longer term storage. There have been a couple of billing items that were quickly resolved. Everyone from the phone support to the delivery drivers have all been very professional and helpful.

Ordering Pods went smooth - Reordered a second and was smooth - Pods delivered and picked up in Ohio went very well - When we got to Florida I went to Pods office in Daytona and only one pod was there - I wanted a certain pod to be delivered first - The young kid in the office was very nice and told me to come again the next day and unlock the pod so I could request the correct one be delivered.
I went back the next day and there was a guy on a forklift who told me he was the supervisor - He was rude and said you cannot just show up and request to see a pod - I said I came here yesterday and a young kid with long hair in the office told me to come back today and he would have the pod ready to look at - He said, "There is not a young kid with long hair that works here." He lectured me and I was about to tell him to shove it up his butt - but I did not and asked if he could go in and look at my order on the computer to see what the young man had written.
We went into the office and he said, "Your pod is out in the parking area." I went out and opened the pod and requested that pod be delivered first to the storage facility - He was nicer after he realized he was wrong - He also said yes there is a younger guy who works here with long hair and told me his name - I think Jason - Both deliveries at the storage facility went well - Would use Pods again in light of the rude guy at Daytona.

I needed storage while we were doing a kitchen renovation. I booked online and the process was extremely easy. But what wasn’t clear was that delivery was only on certain dates in my neighborhood and you couldn’t tell that from the website. I picked the date based on my convenience and my work schedule and then the website automatically rescheduled the delivery without my participation in that process. I had to call and change it. Other than that, the guys that delivered were extremely professional and the cost was reasonable. Overall, it was a good process and it worked for us.

The order was easy to complete, delivery was on time and pick-up was the same. It was the large POD and met our needs-storage of furniture while hardwood flooring was installed. I was present for the delivery but it was picked up without anyone being around--a phone call to confirm as we were out of the country. I will use PODs again, when needed.

PODS made our long distance move easier. The recommendation for packer/loaders was great. I will say, I used the most experienced group (national company) who contracted with a local group (would recommend going local w/o going thru national-cheaper). Everyone from the PODS delivery guys to the pickup drivers were helpful, contentious and explained how the Podzilla worked, etc. No damage to anything in the POD. Loved that the POD was locked with MY lock and only we had key. We used #8 security rated locks. Would recommended if you have a 3 bedroom home, get at least 2 PODS, maybe 3 if you're taking appliances.

Moving with PODS was convenient. I was four or five hours away and I didn’t want a rental. All we had to do is schedule for them to drop it off, we load it, and then schedule for them to pick it up. Once I got everything set up, the move didn’t take that long and was probably within a week. It’s just that when they were supposed to have to deliver, there was a mix-up and a delay. I ended up waiting another week when I was told I was gonna get it before I actually got it. But the second time I spoke with a customer service person, they were really helpful and got everything moving when it needed to be. Overall, I had a good experience with PODS.

PODS service was excellent, however, the cost was WAY more than I expected. Perhaps I had not read the fine print as carefully as I should have. I highly recommend that your pricing structure be better clarified on your website so your customers are not in shock when they get the final bill.

Podzilla was fun to watch! Drivers were nice and made process easy. Drivers called when they were on their way and made sure to put in correct location. In order to move between states they made me call and book over phone which was annoying. Wish it could be fully online. Email communication was easy and efficient.

I used PODS for moving. I researched it online, and then I booked it over the phone with a representative. The pickup and delivery were perfect.
I did not feel comfortable with the first person I talked to. He did not seem as knowledgeable and it was confusing as to how everything worked. He was very hard to understand. The second person I spoke with was wonderful. He was not just trying to push me into getting the pod. He was really very interested in giving me the information I needed, all the facts, answering all the questions, and really letting me make the decision whether or not I wanted to move forward, not just make a sale.
The first quote I received was less than the second one three weeks later, but the reason was because they were having a sale the month before when I called, ‘cause it was in between the end of the month and the beginning of a new month. But he worked with me, trying to give me the best price he could give me with discounts other than what the monthly special would have been, so it ended up being within a couple hundred dollars of what the first quote was. I felt more comfortable with accepting the second quote and accepting the service. I was leery about the first one even though the price was better. I just didn’t feel comfortable going with them.

I needed to move three rooms of content to have hardwood floors restained. I used PODS to store content until this work was done! They were efficient and professional. I had to decide on who to hire to move the furniture, etc. I would have preferred to have the movers to have been included with the initial cost.

We moved our house of 36 years from MD to FL. We only took a few pieces of furniture and did a HUGE purge before moving. We rented a 16 foot POD and it was cost effective and perfect for what we needed. The drop offs and deliveries were timely. It was easy to change the dates for the drop offs and deliveries. I saved thousands of dollars by using a POD.

The POD was delivered when we requested and placed properly in our driveway. Pick up was easy to schedule and delivery to our new home was also on schedule. The contents were not shifted or damaged when we opened the POD. Overall, the experience was good, and the price was reasonable. I would use PODS again and recommend to others.

The person who dropped off the POD at **, and this same person picked up the POD at **, was great! He was friendly, informative, professional and knowledgeable. The people on the phone were very helpful and awesome when I had to change dates and correct the address. I needed to ask the person who picked up the POD from ** to please put out his cigarette and he willing did, because I live in the mountains with high fire danger. Otherwise he did a good job picking up the POD and delivering it.

We used a POD in our Newton MA driveway to stage and store furniture and other things as we downsized and moved to Cape Cod. When it was full, PODs moved it to Cape Cod, where we left it in the driveway for another month of unpacking at our leisure. Finally it was empty and they picked it up. This was an excellent experience all around--drivers were courteous and professional, booking was easy on the website, and it worked very well for us. Highly recommended.

This is our first time using PODS for a move and we’re very happy with the services! Delivery and pick up were managed well, and updates in the app were helpful. I recommend reviewing details in the app periodically for schedule changes - I did not always receive notice via email.

Pods was great and competitive in price. It was nice not to have to drive a truck also. Only negative thing I have to say is the referral service, Hireahelper, is a scam. They get you movers so far away from you, give you an overpriced quote. Then when you book, they tack on another 250.00 just to use their website; service. I canceled with them and paid less then half I would have paid.
