Great experience. The first lady I spoke to who gave me the quote sold me. The drivers were nice and helpful. The representatives I spoke with on the phone were knowledgeable. All the drivers were helpful.

In my time of need, PODS was there for me. The storage container arrived on time, and was positioned/picked up respectfully. Great people throughout the entire process. Both gentlemen were friendly and professional. The online and customer service team went above and beyond to assist me with my move. The container itself was clean and in great condition when it arrived. Communication- Excellent. Both drivers called in enough time prior to their arrival. Affordability- yes, definitely reasonably priced for someone moving large furniture, compared to other services imo.

This was the easiest order I ever made. Everything the getgo to the removal was seamless. Great price and great service. Our home was in the Palisades Fire and during remediation we needed a place to store items after cleaning to be restored to the house after all work was done. We did not want to use outside storage facilities for some items. The solution was the POD service. It allowed us to control items and return to use on our schedule.

PODS made the move between Illinois and Minnesota easy. They were upfront in the price quote, the driver gave helpful instructions and the online site was easy to use. Everything I moved was in good shape! Time estimates were accurate and everything went well!

We had to move unexpectedly twice in a short period of time. PODS was a great option to store our stuff safely and make that chaotic period of time easier to manage. I was able to easily and conveniently update our pickup and delivery times online as needed. When I did need to call and ask questions my calls were answered quickly and the service reps were knowledgeable and friendly. The grace period at the beginning of the month saved money when I had to keep the pod an extra couple of days on short notice. All in all an example of great customer service.

I had a wonderful experience using PODS! From start to finish, everyone was helpful and answered all my questions without hesitation. The unit was dropped off and picked up on the days I requested. The unit was clean, the drivers were polite, helpful, and efficient. And the POD was delivered to my new location within a few days, and it was picked up on the date and time we had arranged. It was a great experience and, if needed, I will use them in the future.

I had a great experience with Pods. I put in a request online and then very rapidly received a phone call. The reps were absolutely phenomenal. I gave the gentleman on the phone some of the articles that were going in there and together we decided that would be the best and it was the best. I had a 16-foot container dropped, transported, and then dropped in Georgia and then picked up. Everything went absolutely smoothly. Everything was on time and nothing was damaged inside the pod. It couldn't have been any better.

PODS is a nightmare company run by deceptive amateurs who specialize in milking customers with surprise charges after you’ve already paid thousands. I stored my household items in their container in Cambridge, Ontario, from June 2025. In December 2025, I arranged delivery to my new home in Edmonton and specifically asked for a quote to deliver DIRECTLY to my house address. They quoted and charged me CAD $3,706.64, which I paid in full based on that clear instruction.
Then the surprises started rolling in: A sneaky extra $194.92 appeared for “Edmonton warehouse to my address” – even though I’d paid for home delivery as discussed. When questioned, they claimed it was separate, completely contradicting my initial call. Next, a random $419.23 bill for “keeping the container to offload” from Dec 29 to Jan 2 (just 4 days!). They demanded full one-month payment or threatened collections, with zero proper explanation. I asked why this wasn’t mentioned during the delivery setup call – they said they’d “review the recording” but later claimed they “don’t have to mention it” because it’s in some document I was never asked to sign or acknowledge before charging my card.
This is classic bait-and-switch: lure you with a big upfront payment for “full delivery”, then hit you with hidden/retroactive fees for storage, offloading, or phantom “warehouse” legs you never agreed to. Customer service is untrained and evasive, and management seems complicit in these tactics. They hide behind vague “documents” while refusing to honour verbal agreements or provide proof. People, stay FAR away from PODS. They’re not a moving/storage company – they’re experts at extracting extra money without consent through confusion and threats. Use literally anyone else (U-Haul U-Box, local movers, etc.). Save yourself the stress, money, and betrayal. 0/10 – deceptive.

TL;DR: We were told transit would take 7–10 days, were never told PODS allows 30 days for long-distance moves, our containers sat in PODS’ possession for extended periods, we were charged an extra month because of it, and customer service ignored and closed our complaint without resolving anything.
This was an exhausting experience start to finish. We were told transit would take 7–10 days and were never told that PODS allows up to 30 days for long-distance moves. We originally asked for pickup on December 10, but PODS couldn’t accommodate that date and pickup happened later. After that, the containers sat in PODS’ possession for long stretches before and after transit, even while we were being told they were already moving. We were without our belongings through the holidays.
Because of these delays, we were charged an additional full month of storage, even though the timeline was entirely controlled by PODS. Trying to get help was just as bad. We had to reach out multiple times, including tweeting them, just to get a response. They sent one email, then stopped responding, closed the complaint without telling us, and later closed it again after review, citing the 30-day policy. The delays, charges, and communication issues were never addressed. Nothing was resolved. No accountability, no effort to make it right. If something goes wrong, don’t expect support.

I used PODS to move across several states, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. Booking online was straightforward, and they delivered the container right to my driveway when promised. The drivers were polite, professional, and placed the container exactly where I asked. The customer service communication is a nightmare. I specifically asked questions and was given answers about delivery and payment timing and I planned my move using these answers. I was told charges would be placed on my card the day before an activity only to have them placed up to a week before. I would call to ask about an issue only to find that delivery times had been changed from what I asked to have set and expected. I found that payment information was incorrect after spending time having a representative enter it. I was told that I would receive credits I did not receive. And the last but most hurtful pinpoint was to be told that all of my issues were my fault because agreement documents were posted on their sue under my account and all information was in them.
I was never told about this document section or walked through how to get to it. It was evident that representatives were being trained to say whatever and no one was being held accountable for bad information - least of all the company. The worse was to be told there were no more charges only to be charged more money after my things were in their possession. It was like I was paying ransom. I have decided it will be better in the future to rent several trucks and make several trips to accomplish a move. This way I’m not lied to.

This is my second try moving with Pods. I told myself after last time I wouldn't do it again, I should have listened! They are attempting to DOUBLE what they quoted me for my move when they picked my stuff up. I had to store it for a few month while I looked for a new house. It feels like I am being extorted. And their "customer service" people are more than unhelpful and argumentative. When I asked for a supervisor, they are unwilling to get me to anyone. They hold all the leverage because they have all of my stuff. I would HIGHLY recommend staying as far away from Pods as you can!

This entire experience was great. The original booking person, Deb **, was so fun and cheery - great experience. Told us everything we needed to know. The POD delivery was smooth and professional, with the driver giving us valuable tips. The storage was without incident - we did not go 'visit' the POD to retrieve anything. The rental fees were exactly as expected. When it was time to book the delivery of the POD to the final destination, the move manager was patient, friendly, optimistic - just what you need to hear. He handled it great, and you could tell he really looked after his crew.
The delivery of the POD was by a man out of Knoxville ... I think his name was Dan. Also just fabulous, full of tips and so helpful. He helped with many unloading tips that he didn't have to share - he was not unloading the POD for us. This must be a thing with PODS. EVERYONE was just amazing. Dan came to pick up the POD. They treat their customers with great respect. 3-4 days later, asked all the right questions. This was the best move experience ever for me, and I have moved over 30 times as an adult. We rented a pod from PODS while we were renovating. We needed something at our house and didn't want to have to go to a storage unit. I called them and they delivered. When I called, everything was very well-explained. They were also running a special so the rate was great. It was three months at a discounted rate, but we needed it for the fourth month and it worked out perfectly. It's a great option for a storage unit. It's on your property and you can go and get stuff out of there if you need it, which we had too many times over.

Customer Service is all foreign operators and I can't understand them. Billing Dept is a joke. They have a card on file and have been charging it for months. There's no issue charging the card because I pay it off every month. That cards has a very large limit and we're nowhere close to that limit. We're many 10's of thousands of dollars away from that limit. So there's no issue charging the card. They've had 5 pods for 4 months. Everything was fine until I asked for the pods to be delivered. Now they're asking for payment over the phone and have me in their collections department!!!!! They won't deliver the pods until they charge the card. OKAY -- CHARGE THE CARD THEN!!!! NO PROBLEM!!!! Same as every other month. What's changed??!?

We were having a home renovation project and we needed to get all the furniture and stuff out of the rooms. I did some online research on pricing, availability and how long it would take to get, and we chose PODS. Their website was extremely easy to use. Then they came when they said they were going to come. They put it in, picked it up and they called. "We're X amount of miles away, we're a half hour away." There were no issues with picking it up.
We got a 12-foot pod and it was wonderful. We had snowstorms and extensive rain. We were concerned that there might be leakage in the pod or that something would happen. But there was absolutely no damage to any of our furniture. I also had a large piece of furniture in there that had several glass panels. I was concerned that maybe the change in temperature might cause the glass to break because the weather was so cold. But we had no issues whatsoever.
However, we had to have part of the pod on our lawn because it was too wide for just the driveway. We had it there for two months. Other than the grass being stomped down because something heavy was sitting on it, there were no issues with my lawn.

I booked a large pod from PODS online. I sell Avon so I have a lot of liquid stuff that I was going to put in the pod. But when I called to see if the pod was going into a controlled environment, I'm not 100% sure that the guy told me yes or no. I know they were foreign and very hard to understand. It sounded like he did say it was gonna be controlled, but I just took my chance because someone else told me it was. And I thought, "Okay. I'll take her word for it."
However, PODS wouldn't put the container where we wanted and they had an excuse for both places. First is that it was an old house where they dropped it off. For the new house, it was because they would have to go over a cement down spout lying on the cement. I gave them permission to go over it but they said they can't.
We originally planned to keep it at this new house for a few weeks, but we ended up getting it emptied that first weekend, because it wasn't placed where we wanted. I live in Iowa and if you don't move your vehicles when there's snow, we would get a ticket. We couldn't get in our driveway because of the pod. We ended up putting a lot of our stuff in the garage until we could do something about it.
As far as the transport, my boyfriend said that nothing moved or broke. Everything was like it was when we put it in there. He said everything was great. Overall, I was happy and I would recommend PODS.

I was very frustrated with my experience with PODS. My order was changed to the incorrect size POD multiple times, and luckily I reviewed my order in time to update it. Additionally, I was overcharged on each portion of my order, and had to make a call to PODS each time to have this corrected. I received a refund for my first overcharged amount, but am still waiting for an additional $224 to be refunded to my card. Additionally, PODS was unclear on when they would be providing their city service. Overall, I was very disappointed by the customer service and numerous amount of issues I had with PODS. They only added stress during my cross-country move.

I had a good interaction with the drivers but they forgot about me on the last day. I scheduled it the same exact day that I scheduled for drop-off at where I was moving. It had to go into the street, so I had a permit. The permit was only good for one week. While they were supposed to pick it up, I kept getting different pickup times. I kept calling and telling them my permit will expire and didn't want a fine. PODS said they were coming but then I got a text saying they'd come 11:00 to 2:00 AM. But they never came.
So I got another permit and they said they would come the next day. Some guy from one of the pod things called because they only pick up one day a week here, and he asked me, "Were you not there? Was it locked?" I said, "No. They kept telling me they were coming. And I was the next stop and they never came." I was in jeopardy of getting a fine. The guy said, "I will be right there," and he did.
Everything was good up until that last day when PODS kept telling me they were coming. That communication was terrible. It was very hard to get a person on the phone since it's very automated. They just kept saying, "You're next. You're next. You're next. Oh, well, we can't look up this information. We just know you're on the schedule." It made it kind of frustrating. Also, one pickup day a week is kind of crazy. The availability of days to move were very, very limited. In terms of the price, there were a lot of fees added during moving day. I paid $40 for them to pick up an empty pod that they left there a day late.

I needed to move some furniture out of the house for a remodel for a few months. I went with PODS and did everything online and the process was very easy. We got the 16-footer pod and had it on site for about one week when we loaded and then one week after we unloaded. Otherwise, it was at the storage facility.

We had a hard time getting the pod to open because the latches didn't line up just right. I called PODS about it and they were gonna send somebody out. But I went in the house and got some WD-40 and started spraying it all over, and it worked. So I called them back and told them I didn't need anybody to come out after all. We got the biggest pod and got a fair price for it.

I called PODS to get all the booking done because I like to do it person to person. We did three pods and another one as a reserve pod. All of them were the full size pods. They were good size. I spoke to so many people from PODS. I had confidence in the local guys and the drivers. But with the people on the phone, it was very shaky. We had to delay because the floors are not ready. So I made changes, and then behold, they've made changes just for one pod, not for four pods. The language got a little convoluted there because they were all primarily Asian. They were all sweet and very, very pleasant. They tried their best, but on a couple of them, I could not get it across that we needed to move the two PODS.
One time, the driver called me and said, “Hey, I'm ready to deliver.” But I told him, “Wait a minute. I called three days ago and said we moved the date, and talked to the lady on the phone.” Before I knew it, there was a text to me of $75 late change fee. I called the lady back and said, “I'm not paying that. I called that in three days ago.” But because of the language difficulty, she didn't understand the dealing with four pods. This was all right before Christmas. But I've lived overseas. I speak multiple languages and have traveled cross-culturally many a time. So I understand the difficulties.
It did not work well for us, and I was always having to be on the phone. My only confidence came when I was able to talk to a local manager. I said, “Okay. This guy says I'm gonna have the PODS delivered here in two days. Great.” So then I knew they would be, but I had no way to contact the local PODS people. I had to go through the 800 number, and I said, “Well, I need to have more confidence in my planning and arrangements because we've got family coming in. We got Christmas. I got work. I need to know for sure what's going on.” Going to the 800 number would take two hours to get it done, and even then, you weren't sure if it was gonna happen or not.
When the local guy and the one lady from the 800 number said, “Hey, I'm gonna bump this up,”. I said, “Great.” When they bumped it up a notch and I was able to talk with the local manager, I was able to know for sure when the pods are coming or when they were gonna be picked up. But that system of communication was very frustrating, and there was no real good phone number to talk to the local manager. Everything has to be calendared to the day as best you can to the hour. They give you three-hour window but I also had movers all lined up to come and I was having to change the dates with the movers if they were available. It was just crazy. But we eventually got through it.
The empty pods sound on the street, had two empty pods the last go around, and they sat about a week in front of my house. But the logistics of what we needed, the moving and the holding it in Texas until we needed it in Birmingham, worked great. I would do PODS again but I really wanna talk to someone who knows exactly what's going on. As nice as they were, I needed to have confidence, not in their niceness but in their ability to confirm everything properly.
The price with PODS was a little higher than I wanted, but it was the best option that we had. To move with the moving company, it would have been more expensive and more risky on our furniture. I had professionals pack everything in boxes. I had another professional team come in and load the pods. Then I had a professional team come and empty the pods. So I had professionals all around and we haven't found anything broken. So for me, that was good. But that was because we invested in professionals doing all the basics.

I was trying to figure out how to get my daughter's stuff home from graduate school. I called PODS to inquire and the agent that helped me on the phone was super knowledgeable and made it super easy. Then I just logged in to book the pickup date or the drop-off date. Getting in online and talking to the agents were easy. I had a question once and I called the agent and they were very knowledgeable and they helped me. I scheduled it and then they dropped the pod off. They called me ahead of time, they dropped it off exactly when they said they would, and it was exactly as planned.

I went with PODS for the convenience of doing the move a little at a time. I had some family that had also used them. I booked on both the phone and the website, and the rep I dealt with was fantastic. The website was excellent as well. We did a small and a large container and the drivers were excellent. They were very professional, kind and knew what they were doing. I would recommend PODS to anybody.

I'm older and a single mom. My realtor suggested that it would probably be easier to have people come in to move my stuff one-time, hold it for me, and then deliver it to the new place instead of getting a company to move it to a storage, pay storage, and then get a company again for delivery.
The initial booking was done online and was very easy. I moved from a five-bedroom to a three-bedroom house, so I got the large pod. Because my new house wasn't ready yet, I made a call to PODS to change the service from moving only to storage and a move.
The movers were very kind and knowledgeable. I moved to a mobile home park, and they negotiated with the park for me just to let them know the stuff is not going to fit in the carport.
In the end, it was just like my realtor said. It was a lot less expensive to go that route.
There are so many moving parts with it comes to moving. Literally. We're thrilled that we could make it a little less challenging for you! We appreciate you, April!

I have seen PODS in the driveways in several locations in this area. We had a horrible storm and I needed to get some items out of my house so that they weren't damaged more while we were trying to repair stuff from the tornado we had. I called the number, and they did a great job of getting back with me.
My driveway has a turn to get into the garages. When PODS got here, they could not place the pod on my driveway because it was too long and it would have damaged the flower beds to back it in like they needed to do in the yard. And so, they parked in front of the house. The pod had been sitting out here for several weeks when they called me and said they had to pick the pod because the city called them and said it was against the ordinance. That it would be towed at 7:00 the next morning.
I was in Missouri when they called, so I tried to call around and get in touch with somebody from the city but nobody could get anything to me. My husband's a football coach and so we called a couple of the football players after a game, and they unloaded our stuff that night. The PODS guy came and picked the pod up that next morning before 7:00 so that it wouldn't be towed.
PODS is a good company. It wasn't their fault any of it happened, and they worked with us real well. They did a good job of getting the pod delivered when I needed it. It was sturdy and very clean. I didn't have it transported anywhere, just left in front of the house so that we could do what we needed to do. They also did a good job picking it up when it had to be removed.

I did the booking online and as I was finishing up, I saw there was a discount that I didn't get. So I called and we went through five phone calls to get it corrected. Each time somebody would set it up, they would get the discount but they would forget something else. So we had to keep doing it until it was finalized.
Initially, I was thinking if I should pack everything up myself and have a local mover take it to a storage place, or if PODS was a better option. In the end, PODS was too expensive for storage. The local movers would have probably been the better option. It was nice to have the movers do the packing for me, but I don't think they packed it exactly as I would have. I'm not saying they did a bad job because nothing was broken. Also, at one point, we were considering getting something and putting it back in the storage, but it was a long distance. If the storage was local, I could have done it. I might use PODS again, but for moving.

We rented a pod for two months because we had to move furniture out of the home for a remodel. The name's well-known and my neighbor had PODS in their driveway at the same time, and so I tried it as well.
No issues when setting it up online, but we found a glitch in their system wherein the driver has a record of which way the pod should be facing although there wasn’t really an option for that. It happened to my neighbor as well. Both of the drivers showed up with the pod facing the wrong direction—facing onto the yard instead of the driveway. And so both times, the pods had to be flipped when they got to our home, and the driver was pretty rude about it.
It's common sense to have the door facing the driveway, not the yard. If you're going to be rolling dollies, you need concrete, not the grass. They were trying to make it out like it was our fault, when the same thing happened to our neighbor. So we weren't happy with that. I wasn't frustrated as much as the driver was, but he was in too big of a rush to have to deal with what I wanted.

We were doing some work in our basement and we had to get everything out then put them back in. So, I needed a pod for about a month. I researched PODS online and then I called them directly over the phone. We reserved a 16-foot pod and then booked it and they delivered. It was wonderful. I've used PODS before as well and I was very happy with them. I've already recommended them.

I needed something and since PODS had been around for so long and I knew who they were, I called them. The rep I dealt with was great. I had a couple questions that they answered, and I booked a container, then they called and let me know they were on their way. The container sat in my driveway way longer than I wanted it to, but that's not the company's fault. My experience with PODS was easy. I didn't even call to end the service, and I got an immediate response. They were great and I would definitely use them again. I'd recommend them too.

Pods was great. I booked their largest pod on the phone and the rep was a joy to talk to. I didn't have a problem. There was a computer glitch that showed I was moving 50 miles away when it was only 3.3, and between the rep and his supervisor, they navigated through the computer glitch and handled it. The drivers were great too. They were down-to-earth guys, and they delivered and picked up on time. They dropped the 16-foot pod off, I filled it then they picked it up and delivered it. The only problem I had was the pod's handle. Pods needs to make the handle a little better. Also, I wish I would have had two pods, but the price was 800. It was a little expensive.

I was moving to Michigan and I didn't wanna drive all my stuff up there one time. I had my dogs and cats to take up there too. I've used Pods before, so I booked with them again. I did it over the phone and it was easy and convenient. I had their driver deliver the pod and put it right where I asked him to.

I like that PODS has bigger containers than the other company. Once I started booking online, they immediately were calling me and offering me huge incentives. Their rep was excellent. They made the experience very simple. The drivers called and told me that they were on their way. We had one particular instance where the house was closed up and they were getting ready to come take the furniture from the house. Apparently, I had not put the lock on correctly. But instead of the driver just leaving like he was supposed to then calling for a different pickup time after I've corrected the issue, he sat there and waited for me. I had difficulty doing the lock and he helped me. He didn't have to do what he did. I was very appreciative of the fact that he spent some time and didn't blow me off.
I would recommend PODS. They put the pod exactly where it needed to be on our driveway. Our driveway had a unique curve to it, but the person who dropped it off did a very good job of doing that. How they manipulate the pod is interesting as well. They have a lot of control whereas some other places don't. Once it's down, you can't move it. This one, the pod people are able to manipulate it easier. I found that to be an advantage. Moving is not any fun to begin with but PODS made it a little bit easier, where I didn't have to worry. I wasn't concerned about my furniture and other belongings.

When I talked to PODS on the phone, I was impressed. What they were telling me was how I wanted to get my stuff done so I went ahead and booked two of their large containers. I had two different drivers, and both were nice. They knew what they were doing and were straightforward. If I had questions, they had the answers. PODS did what they said they were gonna do and I'd use them again if I have to. I wouldn't even bother searching to see other discounts or rates. When you find somebody that does good work, that does not make a difference. I would strongly recommend others to look into PODS.

I liked the fact that PODS can move furniture and store them. However, when I had to book for my pod to be delivered, I had to call and that took a long time. Also, if you're moving to another city within the state, you need to move the pod to that city first before it gets delivered to you. I thought the pod could come from where it was stored directly to me. Other than those, everyone was extremely friendly and respectful, and I had a good experience.

The local drivers have been amazing! Customer service has been nothing but a pain. Texting, chatting, and calling are full waiting and AI generated answers that are not helpful. When money is due they are all about calling/answering but during transit and trying to schedule when delivery needs to happen they are inflexible and not clear. We have been without our beds, couches, clothes, etc going on 5 days. With the expected delivery date for not another 5 days. Every time I finally get a hold of someone they just tell me what the AI answers.

Hated that I had to call for everything and that the website was not more interactive, and hated that I had to stay on the phone line forever with multiple people until I got to a manager who finally understood what was going on and was able to resolve all the issues for me. I was moving across the country with no definitive address as I was staying with family until I found a place. I went with PODs as they provided the transportation and storage while I was looking for a home. Everything was going smoothly up until the point that I found a place to live. Part of the blame does land on my shoulders as I only knew the general location of where I was looking. My new address ended up being at most 30 minutes out of the storage centers delivery range (I used the family member's address as the final location and my new home is only 30 minutes away but can not be delivered from that storage facility). In order to get my POD delivered they had to do another quote costing close to an additional $1,000.
PODs is no longer unique and if it is the only moving & storage option then it isn't absolutely terrible but I would highly recommend going with another company. There will be hidden fees, no assistance from customer service, and the flexibility & speed I thought would come with PODs is practically non existent needing an additional 2 weeks to deliver my stuff (Not terrible but not what I was looking for from this experience). Was it the worst experience ever, no, but I wouldn't recommend them if another option is available.

Not happy. I set up a pod via the website. They were running a promotion for $119.30 recurring monthly as it was titled in the attached pic. Got my bill for $191 and called to complain. I was told that was just for the first month. No one ever explained that at all. Deceptive misleading possibly false advertising. I’ll be contacting the BBB as well.

I used PODS to move furniture from Montgomery TX to Issaquah WA. I used the small single room container that had more than enough room to spare after loading it up. The container was clean, and ample space and tie down attachments for holding things in place. I did buy some insulation foam from Home Depot to balance out and protect the large furniture from the internal structure beams to lean the back of furniture up against, but otherwise cardboard for all other items packed well. One large mirror was of concern, but that was wrapped in packing blankets and arrive in good shape. (I was slightly worried about the roughness of the truck hauling from TX to WA and the mirror.) Initial dropoff and pickup, and arrival dropoff and pickup all went smooth, and timely. Great service.

PODS helped make a cross country move simple and affordable. Only problem was actually getting a hold of a human when I had questions or needed confirmation - automated system is useless and wait time is unreal. Never received the refund of $75 that was wrongly charged that they said they would refund. I never changed the pickup date. PODS took it upon themselves to pick it up a day prior then charged me for it! Now I have to call again to get this resolved. Will not be using PODS in the future.

The absolute best customer service from phone call to receive a quote to final container pick up. Would use PODS over and over again and will highly recommend to anyone I speak to who is moving! 10/10 experience. The drivers were amazing, the online portal is so easy to use. We used PODS in order to from Brampton to a nearby community. As there were several days between our house stand getting our new house Pods was able to briefly store our goods. Everything arrived unbroken and the phone associates and delivery truck drivers were professional and courteous. A conventional moving company would have cost us 4 times as much money.

NO ONE wants to be responsible for driving a moving van, maneuvering it through the neighborhood, having to worry about parking, theft, gas....Renting a POD was the smartest decision I made in my recent relocation. I was able to take my time loading and unloading it after each delivery, and had the flexibility to reschedule the "move" to accommodate a fluid closing date. With so much going on after the first few days in the new house, I literally forgot about the container once it was emptied. Because the initial rental agreement included the first month, however, I had plenty of time to schedule the return without incurring additional cost. This is genius! Save the daily rentals for the occasional road trip, and leave the heavy lifting to PODS!

Great experience and service, made my move smooth and easier. I don’t feel I was rushed at all, I had 30 to pack and unpack my pod. Also flexibility with changing the date and time was very important as things change between the time you order it till the time you are completely unpacked and done. Our POD was delivered on time and placed exactly where we requested. The door track was slightly damaged, making it finicky to roll up and down, but we managed, although we worried that we wouldn't be able to open it at our destination. Packing the Pod was a real challenge, fitting boxes into every crack and crevice - watching a few packing videos really helped. We also took the time to pack boxes carefully and wrap all furniture. We also shipped a pinball machine and puck bowler, and both arrived in great shape. It's all in the packing!
Upon arrival, the contents had shifted slightly and a few boxes tumbled out. Thanks to good packing, damage was kept to a glass juicer and a wine glass - that was it! The delivery person helped us horse open the door (as expected, it was tough) and we unpacked over two days. Billing was exactly as quoted - a relief. In all, I would do it again, but maybe pack lighter boxes next time!

Excellent service and good customer support. I highly recommend it. The move was quite seamless because of the convenience to store the boxes and to unload them. The drivers that delivered and moved the POD were seriously skillful handling and positioning the POD. The customer service was almost perfect if it was not for one mishap in the scheduling.

Both drivers called ahead, kept me informed and were hard working and pleasant! We had difficulty closing the pod door in TX and opening it in MO. Both worked hard to resolve the issue and wouldn’t leave until I was completely satisfied. The drivers couldn’t have been more polite and professional. Easy. The drop off and pick up was superb! The guys were friendly and knew exactly what to do! The customer service reps were knowledgeable and provided excellent service to people who had never used PODS! I thought the storage fee was a bit pricey but all our goods were in good shape when the pods were returned!

PODS made my storage and move VERY easy. MY story is I moved to South Africa for just under 2 years, When we were leaving, the PODS containers were dropped off in my driveway and allowed me to pack up on my timeline. Then when we left they were picked up and stored in their storage site. Fast forward 22 months later, I'm back in the US and moving into a new house. The PODS containers are dropped off in my new driveway and I unload at my own pace. When I'm done unloading, I schedule the pickup and a day or two later they're out of my driveway and my big move is complete. It was SO EASY and I super recommend this service to ANYONE who needs to move.

This is our second cross-country move with PODS and we can't recommend them enough. Frictionless process, secure, timely, at a fair price. The only missing feature that would greatly improve the product is to be able to install full-width shelves/platforms for improved loading efficiency. We have two more waves of PODS in our move and I will be building my own platforms.

The Pod was delivered on time. It was fun to watch the unloading/reloading, when the time came. It worked perfect for us and met our needs! There was one issue, it leaked. The bottom side rail needed to be re-caulked. Thankfully, all that was ruined was 10 pieces of poster board and a few of our box bottoms got wet. I notified the driver and hopefully this was passed on to the people who could take care of the Pod. I would rent again from them!

Recently found out that the price charged is inconsistent from customer to customer. Neighbor got a MUCH better rate than I was getting so, I shopped around and found out that I could get a climate controlled storage unit, almost 2 and a half times the size of the POD I have rented for just shy of 2 years. Yes, I have to move my “stuff” a very short distance but I will save myself over $800 a year. Shame on ME for not doing my due diligence before renting a POD.

Everything went well. Contents did shift while in transit. Nothing was damaged. Only complaint. I paid for a lock that I never received. The gal mentioned the lock when she dropped the pod off but drove off and never came back. Maybe you can issue a refund for the lock. Thanks.

Most of the delivery, transportation and pickup was seamless. However, scheduling the delivery was somewhat problematic and tedious. Delivery in San Francisco required the use of City Services as the POD couldn't be left for unloading. When I realized the POD had been delivered to Oakland 8 days before it was scheduled I asked for an expedited delivery. I was hung up on three times, before I was told I had missed the open slot 5 days ahead of schedule that I had been holding for. It was very frustrating and infuriating.

Hello. I was happy except for a few things. Door on one of the pods was difficult to open. Maybe a better handle to help open? Her driver picked up, he made us come out and shovel around the pod. I did not get informed with pick up that we would have to shovel around the pod for pick up. Maybe add that in there if weather was snowy then people are to shovel around the pod. We were the asked to do this to our second one so when the guy came back, it would be shoveled around it for him at pick up. I was taken aback by this. I’ve never been asked to do this. Inclement weather is not my fault and had no notice to clear out the snow around it. My husband had to stop working to do this. Notice is appreciated and to be told to do this and again when next pod was picked up was concerning.

Our dealings with Pods was excellent. We have used you twice and recommended you often. Drivers were professional and friendly. Your recommendation for mr car shipper was extremely terrible. Worst service ever. Will discuss if you want to reach out. Twice they failed to pick up our car. Had to leave it in a not ideal spot. We closed on our house, were staying in a hotel and had a flight to Florida booked. They took our initial order and closed the entire company for 4 days at Christmas without telling us till after they left. No way to reach anyone. We gave them a second chance and they again failed to pick up our car. We have now incurred hundreds of dollars in rental cars and are still trying to get our car. We are in a new home in Florida with no car. We may have to fly back to Massachusetts to get it. We took your recommendation seriously. Please reach out for more info.

My experience with PODS was very positive. Everything went very smoothly from ordering the POD to having it removed. I ended up needing it an extra month and that was no problem doing. If the occasion ever arises again, I will not hesitate one minute to use them again. I also thought the price was reasonable.

Communication was amazing, before during and after each encounter. They didn't try to upsell me. I liked they were able to store the POD when it came from pickup and drop off to keeping it because life happened and had to ask them to store the pod for a few days. The price is a little high.

I changed my FL pick up date by 2 days and it increased the delivery date to TN by 7 days. This increases moving costs, for temporary living expenses. If this would be known I would have used a different mover. Don’t use Pods.

PODS made moving way less stressful than I expected—and that alone deserves applause. The price was fair and transparent (no surprise “gotchas”), the customer service was genuinely great (friendly, helpful, and actually listened), and the convenience was unbeatable. Being able to load and unload on my own schedule felt like moving with superpowers. The container showed up on time, was clean and secure, and pickup/drop-off was smooth as butter. If moving usually makes you want to pull your hair out, PODS is the calm, organized friend who shows up with a plan. Highly recommend! 🚚📦✨

The CSR who took my initial call and booked my order was phenomenal! The delivery driver who dropped off the empty container, also phenomenal! The delivery driver who dropped off the full container at the new address, also phenomenal! The pickup driver who picked up the empty container, he wasn't as good. Claimed he couldn't get the container out due to "low wires", yet the drop off guy got it in just fine. Then he ran over his wire pole, and told me I would have to help him, but I was shoveling the snow and ice off of my stairs.
Only other problem was when I needed a second, smaller container to finish my pack out. I was under the pressure of closing. I called first thing in the morning and asked for an 8x8 container the next day. All I got was "no", "scheduled is full", "one of our trucks broke down", "can't be done". I had to use your competitor, who delivered without issues. For the initial container that was delivered, everything was great. Lastly, the positioning of the eye bolts for tying the load off, (I used ratchet straps), leaves a lot to be desired. They seemed to be randomly placed, especially the ones toward the back. They did not facilitate a clean tie off.

We had your team deliver a POD to my brother's apartment in Pascagoula, MS and pick it up and you stored it for a few months and then delivered it back to his new apartment in Pascagoula, MS. Your drivers and we met 3 different ones, were all FIRST CLASS and so polite and friendly. The POD was spotless when it was delivered and when it was picked up and then returned, it was like it had never moved. There was nothing out of place. The time and care in delivery and pickup/return was great. You have a FIRST CLASS professional team. We will definitely be using your company again when we need temporary storage.

Hello PODS, Our move from Northern CA to SC was super easy & convenient using a 16' POD. From the initial reservation with Justin in FL to the delivery of the POD by George in CA, everything went smoothly. Special kudos to Brittany who delivered our POD in SC. She had to navigate a tricky cul de sac and curved driveway. She even made sure the sliding door opened before she left. Pod is the best experience I’ve ever had with moving. I’ve used the for 4 moves (md, la, nv, la) and everything was seamless. The helper they recommended were courteous and on time, calling when they were on their way. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They also discounted my order for being a repeat customer.

We moved from the West Coast to TN. We utilized 4 PODs total. We loaded two PODs before listing our house and then two more after the house was under contract. The PODs were stored at local PODs location nearby until we told them to ship them to TN. We staggered the deliveries two at a time because our driveway had enough room for two at a time. We never utilized the feature where we visited our PODs at the local PODs storage location. But what a cool feature. Anyway, working with PODs was incredible and I would recommend them to everyone. Every interaction with their staff (drivers to phone reps) we comforting and professional.
My dollars were so very well spent. We have a large extended family and I will tell them all use PODs. But more than PODs professionalism, using PODs allows us to control the packing and the move timing. We never felt the stress of meeting a timeline set by a standard moving company. Our pods were dry, undamaged and unopened when they arrived. WIthin each POD, we utilized our own locks, ratcheting webbing, and moving blankets that we purchased at Harbor Freight. The webbing was used to keep contents from falling against the POD door and preventing it from opening. We had no problem with the POD doors.

I was in need of on-site storage and I remember seeing the PODS around town. I checked out their website and it was so easy to book one. Everything was online, no waiting on hold, super easy to schedule drop-offs etc, price was great. The delivery driver called before dropping off and recommended a spot to drop it. Scheduling a pick was just as easy. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience for loading, storage and delivery of our four PODs. Our only dissatisfaction was with the raising of the price of our fourth POD because it wasn't ordered with the first three. I had requested this be reviewed two times and was never responded to unless I had called back myself. Since this transaction was through Costco as an Executive Member, I had hoped that there could have been something done since our belongings were stored for five months. This price change ended up costing me money that wasn't told to me when they said I could order additional PODs at a later date.

Using PODS for moving was a great decision. The customer service agents were helpful, clear and empathetic with every call. The service was exactly as described, and the portal let me manage my PODS timetable. PODS communicates your timetable frequently (maybe just a tad too many texts, but better that way than too few). Drivers arrived almost exactly as scheduled. I had one unexpected poor experience with the very last driver, who took his disappointment with placement of the POD near snow out on me, and then on the POD when the Podzilla punched a hole into the POD with one of the guiding wheels. I sure was glad the POD was empty, or we unquestionably would have had damaged furniture. Aside from that poor interaction, the team and service as a whole was excellent and I highly recommend.

We are very happy with our PODS experience. We used PODS to put our belongings in storage for a while, then moved to a new city and had it delivered. It was easy to make our initial booking, make changes to our delivery dates, and schedule a visit to the POD while in storage. We were very impressed with the care of the POD while in transit, our belongings did not move/shift around. We also liked how it was stored in a warehouse (versus outside in the elements).

Driver picked up wrong pod. Now the other pod that needs picked up isn’t going to be picked up when scheduled. I’m not happy at all. We worked hard cleaning it out so it could be picked up. Since your driver messed up, even after I told him which one to take, we have to wait a week. Not happy.

I booked PODS over the phone and they explained the process. There was very little pressure on me to do it. I was definitely satisfied. The container was a little big, and I might have been able to get by with the smaller one, but it worked out fine. The drivers on both ends were great, both delivering the container and then coming to pick it up, although I wasn't around when they picked the container up in Arizona. But it got to Oregon with no issues.

We were selling a house and needed to store some things to be able to show the house. It was convenient using PODS and my experience with them was great. The first time, we weren't home but they told us when they were coming and called us on the way. My husband was here when they dropped the pod off to our new house. They stored it for a month 'cause we weren't ready for it. They were excellent. We also got the service on a sale, so it was a reasonable price.

We didn't have a place to go and had to store our belongings. I wasn't physically able to do process of putting it in a truck, taking it to a storage unit, unloading the truck, then finding another place. We liked the convenience of using PODS and we booked the largest pod over the phone. The drivers were great. We had some damage to some items inside including table and chairs that were scratched up, but it wasn't anything that they did other than the moving of it. However, it was a little pricey for the length of time that we had to do it for.

My experience with PODS was very good. I used them before in 2013 and decided to use them again. I like that they were very flexible. I got the biggest container and the drivers were excellent.
PODS did a system update and they charged us for a date change that we didn't initiate. Once we called them out on it, they immediately refunded because they admitted their computer system was during an update. The lock was also put on in the unlocked position by accident by my son, and they called me and they waited for me to show up to relock it. It was great. Kudos to the driver who waited. We're very happy with that.

I booked with PODS through their website and it was pretty easy. I opted for their largest pod and although it was mostly satisfactory, there was an issue with the door being slightly uneven when shut. Despite this minor problem, the pod was clean and sturdy with no leaks. Overall, I found the service reliable, and I would recommend PODS as a convenient option, especially when coordinated with USAA.

I was thrilled with the service, but an extra monthly charge appeared on my credit card bill 6 weeks after pickup. I reached out to customer service via the chat, who said they would send it over to billing for a refund. Simple mistake, simple resolution, but it could have been missed had I not checked my credit card statement.

Would have been happier with pick up of empty pod if driver had stopped to close driveway gate so animals could not have escaped. As you can imagine, this created a huge problem for us in trying to recapture every one especially animals at a new location who didn’t know how to get home.

PODS was great. This is the second time I've used them and I used a 16-footer and a 14-footer this time. I had them in storage for two and half months and then they delivered them to my new house. I got the biggest pod to take my stuff out of my mother's house so my stuff didn't get mixed up with hers. The pod was storage for a little bit. A woman brought it and she was phenomenal. We have a low hanging power line over our driveway and it is not flat. It goes down and she couldn't get the truck with the pod under the wire. So at the top of the driveway, she lowered the pod and had a little motor, drove the pod down and positioned it in the driveway. She was very confident and nice.
When they came to pick up the pod, the guy pulled in the driveway, looked at the pod and left. So I called PODS back and said the woman did a great job. They were very nice and said that they would schedule her to come out, but on a different day. That was fine, but I don't think it was her. I wasn't there when they picked it up, but my neighbors told me that it took them a long time to get it. They had some trouble. Still, I was so impressed with the woman. She was wonderful and so competent.

PODS is probably the best way to move considering how easy it was with the pod being right in the driveway, not having to lift up into a U-Haul and not having to drive with it. At first, I was tentative ‘cause it felt like a scam. It was kind of weird having to set it up on the phone. I felt like it was kind of an outdated system. But then once we got started, I was like, “This is amazing.” The guy I talked to was super nice, and I ended up getting a discount, so that was helpful. Pick-up and delivery was amazing. The whole experience with PODS from beginning to end was perfect, and the booking process was very easy. The driver came on time, set the pod up in the driveway, and dropped it off. We spent a few days filling it up and then they came back, retrieved it and moved it East for us. And when it got delivered with all our furniture and stuff in there, everything was fine. Nothing was broken and everything was clean. I’ve moved a lot and it’s the easiest moving experience I've ever had. It's great.

I used PODS for convenience, since they would do most of the work, and they’d deliver the pod here. We could empty it in front of my house. And the price was about the same as having a moving company do it. The booking process, and communication was good. The emails were clear.
I wanted the pod moved to a storage facility in Maryland, but I couldn’t because they wouldn’t allow any PODS or PODS carrier near their units. A PODS driver had damaged the parking lot when he put the pod there. So, instead, they had to bring it in front of my house, which I would have preferred not to do. But it turned out to be fine.
The drivers were easy to work with, and it was all done in very good communication style. Everything was done in a reasonable and timely manner.

The booking process with PODS was simple. I got online and looked up their number and made the call. And customer service was an easy transition. They ask what I am moving, how much I'm moving, and if it's heavy.
Delivery was fine. The condition of the pod was clean. I didn't like it at the end because, where I moved to, it was only supposed to be for two days and I had to wait till after the weekend. They were supposed to pick it up on a Saturday and they didn't pick it up till the following Monday.
Communication wasn't difficult once I spoke with them. But just the fact that they never came and picked up the pod and I had to call them on that, that was the only negative. Other than that, I would use them again.

PODS is more convenient over other moving companies. I had no problem with the representatives. Everything went fine during the move and they were okay for what I needed. I just don't like the marks that they leave in your driveway when they leave.

The are very departmentalized. AND each department does not communicate effectively with next. When one department makes mistake … they are quick to deny accountability and responsibility leading to no concern to retain you as customer or need to make anything right. I ordered a pod that was never delivered to my address to be loaded … It was mistakenly delivered to some other residence … It took months to resolve despite the house it was mistakenly placed at calling them to remove it. Do not use … No accountability.

PODS was good. I needed it just for temporary storage. I was having my floors done and I wanted to get as much as I could out of my house so that when my cousin's doing it, the stuff is out of the way and he can do the floors and everything.
They came and dropped it off when they said they would. The pod storage was very clean and it served its purpose. I got the medium-sized container. I was able to store my stuff in there. And I did forget to schedule a pickup time, so I had to call them for that and got charged for an extra month, but it wasn't as much as I thought.
I didn't see the guys when they dropped it off or picked it up. They did call to let me know that they'd be there and it was gone when I got home. It was there for about a month and a half, but I needed it out of there when it was going to snow soon. So I emptied it out and they came and got it before Thanksgiving. They were pretty good about working with me for picking it up too.

Do not do business with this company. Spent thousands of dollars with them, returned my pod and they still charged me for a month's storage. Admitted they made a mistake, but will not refund my money. I’m considering a lawsuit. Again, there are other options. Do not do business with this company.

I chose PODS because I liked the amount that they were charging per month. I also liked how the video showed how they were delivered and how they were taken away. And it was done exactly like the video showed me.
The booking process was easy. The pod itself was clean and sturdy. I wanted the pod on my property, and I really liked the man that delivered it. He knew I was gonna have it a month or two, and he cared about exactly where to position it for me because he could tell I was particular.

The interaction with the PODS representative was very good, but not afterwards. I was selling my house and building a house, and there was gonna be a delay between selling and repurchasing, so I was gonna be homeless, so to speak. No one from PODS bothered to inform me that they would only be available to deliver on Tuesdays or Wednesdays and I closed on the purchase of the home, Wednesday afternoon. That meant I wasn't gonna be able to get my stuff until 6 days later. Had I been told, I could have changed closing by one day and would have gotten the PODS on Wednesday without a problem.
When I went to schedule for redelivery, it was a very difficult conversation because the representative did not speak English very well. 35 minutes in, she informed me it was gonna cost me $80 extra per pod to schedule a Wednesday after 2:00. And I was like, “You didn't mention that 32 minutes ago. Let me have your supervisor.” So then the supervisor gets on the phone and informed me there won't be a charge because they can’t provide that service. I asked for the supervisor’s supervisor, who then said they can only deliver on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. I told them I’d be calling corporate and hung up the phone.
I could not get a PODS corporate office phone number, but I found an alternate number. I got a gentleman who said, “This is a simple solution. Within 24 hours, you'll get a notice whether we can do a Thursday delivery or not.” 16 hours later, I had an email that my pods were gonna be delivered on Thursday, the 20th of November. A week later, I get an email that delivery had been changed back to the 19th of November, which is a Wednesday, which if they showed up before I closed, nobody would be there to tell them where I wanted the pod. And technically, it wasn't my property yet.
Fortunately, I had a hair appointment the next day, and the barbershop that I go to is basically across the street from where the PODS warehouse was. I was planning to go over to PODS, knock on the door, and talk face to face to somebody in administration. On the day of my appointment, I got an email that the schedule had been changed back to the 20th, which was Thursday. Still, after I got my haircut, I went over there, and the forklift driver gave me his boss's cell number. Turns out she was on PTO. But she took my call and apologized for changing the dates. She said, “If you have any more issues, you just call me.” And I never had another issue. Showed up Thursday.
When I finally finished loading one of the pods, I ran a rope, but I kept having trouble opening and closing the door. My rope was catching the door latch because of the location of the tie area. So, it's basically a default or a defective area that causes an issue. PODS also requires a lock when it goes to storage, but it’s a very thin piece of metal that slides, and a pair of tin snips could cut it.

The online experience with PODS was easy to do. I went to the website and I just selected what I needed. I wasn't too sure about the sizes, but I did select the bigger one. It was easy to set it up. Just pick the size and pick the time. I picked three months, just booked it, and they delivered the day that they said.
There was a lady who came to drop the container off. She was very nice lady. We didn't talk much, but she just said that the driver was good for the size of the pod and she proceeded to drop it off that day.
Everything was fine up until the point that I needed to book my return for it. They never mentioned that they had a return fee. I reached out to them via chat to make sure they don't charge me another month of the pod. They told me the date that I had to book for it to be picked up so I didn't get charged another month and they assured me I won't be charged. But after they picked it up, I saw a charge of $75 in my account for a pickup fee, which was not mentioned anywhere. That was the only sour thing about it. Everything else was fine. It allowed me to do what I needed to do and I appreciate that.

Overall cheaper and easier than most services. However, they are very inflexible and unhelpful should anything go awry. I had to change addresses after I had it shipped out and when I called the representative said the system would not let them make the delivery from the current storage facility as the new address was too far. In order to ship it to that new address they would have to ship the pod to a warehouse in that state which was almost 6 hours further than the current facility and would have to charge me more for that service. As long as you're fine with doing all the work yourself and don't expect any changes it's not bad.

A wonderful experience at both Pompano FL and Loudon TN. Constant contact from administrators and Pack and Load employees, was very reassuring. This was my first move alone and I was extremely nervous. The care and concern of all drivers and packers was exceedingly helpful. I was impressed with the hard work and reliability of both teams. I am beyond happy with my experience. All your staff were professional, super friendly and an absolute joy to deal with. The driver was prompt on delivery, pickup and one move that needed to be done. I would highly recommend PODS to anyone having to do their own move. Pricing was reasonable however overall customer service was worth every penny and more.

As we have come to expect, POD was delivered and picked up exactly as planned. Not a single thing was damaged, which yes is more often a result of great packing, but this POD went across the country and the driver could have been careless and hit every pothole en route.

Generally, our experience was a very positive one, from start to finish. From agents on the phone to delivery and pick up drivers - all very pleasant, easy to communicate with, which is indicative of them loving serving people. With the exception of the driver who picked up the first container in Vancouver, 4 hours early. Based on communication via email from PODS, the pickup window was 12pm -3pm. He showed up at 8 am (5 am email said the window was 12-3). This young man, who has a ** accent, had a smug, righteous, smart ass attitude with my wife and then with myself when we told him we’d be ready at noon when container was to be picked up.
I understand there are no guarantees in your business with pick ups and drop offs. One thing PODS should guarantee, is that your drivers not have a smart ass, condescending attitude - this guy obviously didn’t have any clue who was paying him his pay check. Probably the only thing PODS can do at this point, is to make certain this punk isn’t out on the streets representing your brand. He is doing you a disservice. He shouldn’t be on your payroll. Aside from this interaction, it was an overall positive experience for us. Thanks for listening.

PODS was the only one who was able to accommodate my quick turnaround time. I had to get out of my house ‘cause settlement came. And I was planning to use U-Haul, and my son-in-law was gonna fly down from Pennsylvania to drive the truck for me. But then we had the government shutdown and flights were either delayed or canceled, just the insecurity of whether or not my son-in-law was gonna get there to drive the truck, I needed a sure thing. And PODS helped.
The representative was very nice. He told me I needed two pods and that I could manage the whole thing online, and I ended up doing that. They sent me frequent communications about upcoming pick-up dates, drop-off dates, and pick-up dates. They were very much proactive in moving things along.

We had to clear out the house a little bit so we could stage it for sale. And we weren't quite sure where we were going yet so we just stuck it all in a pod. We got the largest pod.
The PODS customer service was good. The pricing was reasonable, except if I had any qualms about the operation, it would be the pick-up of the empty container cost me nearly as much as it would cost to take the full container from 120 miles. The final bill for picking up the pod from here to a storage unit in Bellingham, Washington was about 750. And to pick up the empty pod, they charged me another 650. I asked them and they said they notified me about it, and I told them I don’t recall being notified. But I'm 71 so it could well be they did notify me of it being that steep of a pick-up charge. I went over the contract again and I didn't see that indicated there.

PODS customer service was really good and the representative was very helpful. And the PODS people, when they picked up and dropped off, were really careful not to damage my property.
I was so impressed with the drivers because they just were so professional, on time, and they communicated well. And when the driver dropped it off, he was kind enough to help me open the door because I was concerned about it. The only thing I have to say is my pod did leak, but they told me it was waterproof. I called them and they said that they would test it when they got back. They gave me a credit of 50 bucks. But I didn't have any damage.
But I have a design suggestion for them. Before the back door comes down, there should be a sliding door that goes across. So that way, if anything moved, it would be stopped at that gate and then the door would go up and down.

We have recently completed a long-distance residential move using PODS. The initial booking process was handled very professionally by the PODS consultant. We were kept informed every step of the way as far as the drop off of our storage containers, the picking up, the red delivery at our new home. My hats off to the drivers that re-delivered our PODS to our new home, especially a gentleman named Arthur. He went above and beyond! My only complaint with PODS is the fact that they use offshore support agents when you call back with any questions, rescheduling issues, etc. They are very difficult to understand, and it is very difficult for them to understand your issue and concern.

I used PODS to move from Florida to New York because of the cost, the customer service, the convenience, and the ability to online chat with someone on the front end. They were really helpful and they offered me a nice little discount. The drivers were fine, too.
The only thing was a lot of my items were damaged, which I didn't expect. Everything was packed really nicely, so I didn't understand how that could have even happened. And it took three guys to open the door because one of my boxes had shifted and jammed the door shut. But I would still use them again. I just might do things a little differently, knowing that it's gonna get jostled around.

PODS was very flexible as far as how long I could have the pod and how long it took us to unload the pod. They are also one of the cheaper ones. Interaction with them was fabulous. If I had any questions, I could get on the phone and call them. I use the app mostly, but I didn't have any problems at all. When they delivered the pod, I had a female delivery person and she was fabulous. She asked me specific questions about where I wanted it put and what would be most convenient for me. That was a very pleasant experience.
When I received the pod at my destination here in Tennessee, I had a wonderful driver who pretty much did the same thing. He stopped at the end of the driveway, asked where I wanted it, what was most convenient for me, and he put it right in that spot. When he came to pick it up, he asked if everything was okay, if we had any problems, and was just the most personable young man I've ever met. It was a really good experience. I would definitely recommend them.

I was doing some home renovations and needed storage to move some items temporarily. PODS was the easy go-to. The site was well laid out. I've designed some sites online, and theirs was much more intuitive, user-friendly, straightforward. They are top of the pack. I really like it.
I went with a moderate size, and that worked out for us. We had some items that I didn't get in there, but it was appropriate for us when you balance the cost as well as the size. We made do.
I had minimal interaction with the drivers. It was my husband who talked to them. I thought it was pretty slick how they dropped off the pod. I was surprised that only one person came to drop it off. I thought it would definitely be a multiple-man job. But the equipment they had was pretty cool.

I was extremely pleased with how PODS picked up and delivered my POD… All my things went from NY to TX without a problem and the young man that delivered the POD was very professional and so were the drivers that delivered it and picked it up in TX… I would definitely recommend using PODS for moving to another state and I also used one of the car transport companies that are on the PODs website… Also very professional.

The whole crew came through with Excellent service, pods are washed out between users. Delivered/moved and picked on time and was placed exactly where I wanted it. You're given a service window the evening before then the driver will call with actual eta once on route/next stop. I will happily recommend to friends and family to use PODS in the future

I had some work done on my house and I needed some extra storage in the driveway. PODS was the only one that was available. It was smooth and easy. Everything online was straightforward, super easy to follow and understand. I didn't have any problems with them dropping off the pod and I didn't have any issues with them picking up the pod. When I got the pod, it was completely clean and empty. I didn't have to worry about wrapping up anything because the inside of the pod was cleaner than what I thought it was gonna be. It exceeded my expectations. If I ever need extra storage again for a month, I will definitely be using PODS.

The lady representative from PODS went through the military part of it with us and she was very good. We had to have two pods in two different places, and at two different times, and she was very good at getting everything set up. The delivery drivers were excellent. Some of our deliveries, it took a little bit of extra work where they had to put them, and we we’re really happy with the way they worked with us.

We had a great experience with PODS. We started out with two 16-foot pods, and they got so much stuff in, we knew we wouldn't need another one that size. So, we went down to the smallest and they were willing to change it. Everything was taken care of, no problems.
The only thing is they delivered the pods at 7:00 AM and we were not supposed to be in the house until after closing, which was at 2 o'clock. They called at 7:00 AM and the pods were here shortly after. If something had happened at closing, it would have been bad. But it worked. The pods were here when we got here and we didn't have to wait on them. We went to work immediately, and got a bunch done that day. And then it rained the next day. So it worked out great. The service was very satisfactory.
The drivers were very courteous, polite, no problems. They called and let us know, “We'll be there in 20 minutes,” and they were. The pod was clean. I was very happy with it. My nephew had used them when they moved, and he had nice things to say about them.

We were moving from one state to another, based on what I had read, PODS seemed honest and reliable. I booked the service online and the booking experience was good. The follow-up during the process was also good. We requested a smaller 8x8 container. While we did debate whether getting a bigger one would have allowed us to move more items, keeping the smaller size made it easier for us to keep things minimal and get rid of extra stuff. I am not sure if choosing that size was good or bad, but it worked for our situation.
The driver who picked up the container was very positive. They called before arriving, and while they were there, they are polite, professional and easy to talk to. The overall experience with the container, from having it to our new location, was good. There was a small concern due to parking restrictions at our previous place because of HOA rules, but that issue was not caused by PODS.
PODS made the move easy. Moving is a very stressful time, and they knocked off a little bit of that stress. Overall, my experience with them was good. I would recommend them to a friend.

Our house burned, so I needed storage for stuff that was in our house. The PODS booking process was fine. I set it all up and then my wife took care of payment. There was no problem with the delivery. He was in and out in a very short period of time and took care of everything. We got two pods from them and both deliveries were fine. We had it for 11 months. I would tell anyone not to hesitate to call and use them. The service was fine.

I love PODS. It was the most convenient, excellent way of moving I could have ever thought of. I got everything I wanted in two pods, did it at my own time, and I had people load and unload it for me.
The people were amazing. They made sure I got the best price. They always came when they said they were gonna come. When I was done early, they'd come and get it.
The pods themselves were fine. I loved the hooks that they had to tie stuff. The whole experience was simply amazing.

I have already submitted a survey. PODS helped me with move-out, storage and move-in. Harrison did most of my deliveries and pick-ups. He was 5 star! I could not have asked for better! Schedulers messed up, (ignored request for a certain time in the afternoon and put me first thing in the morning; six hours before Closing and me taking ownership of the new home.) Harrison juggled his pickup/delivery schedule to meet my needs.

We had 4 16 foot pods. A mover from Jodies stole several items from us. Many times we were unhappy with the schedule of pick up. Also the cost ended up being outrageously expensive. We had to rent 2 additional storage rooms to hold all of our stuff because of the poor packing of the first storage room. Also, lots of our furniture was damaged.

I recently used PODS for my interstate move and paid nearly $3,300 for the service. Unfortunately, one of my tables arrived broken. The item wasn’t very expensive, about $147, but that’s not the point. When I filed a claim, I was shocked by how dismissive and accusatory the PODS team was. Instead of looking into the issue professionally, their response suggested that I was either lying, that the table was already broken, or that I hadn’t protected it properly. That kind of attitude toward a customer is extremely rude and uncalled for. It’s absurd to think I would go through the trouble of filing a claim for such a small amount if it wasn’t legitimate. I’m genuinely disappointed with how this was handled. I’m relieved the damaged item wasn’t something more valuable, but this experience has made it clear that I won’t be using PODS again. A company’s true character shows when something goes wrong, and unfortunately, PODS failed that test.

Everyone who was involved in the moving process was wonderful. Very professional and answered all my questions. This was a great crew to work with. The employees are class customer employees. I was happy that they were able to call me when they were close to my home. I didn't have to worry about any of my items. All the items arrived without any items breaking. Everything was safe at the storage place. Customer service was there to answer any questions I had and resolved any issues. Scheduling was easy. I would definitely recommend using Pods to everyone whenever the opportunity of moving arises.

I had a 16-foot POD from PODS. It was clean and sturdy, and we loaded it up pretty tight. It was a perfectly convenient thing because the house that I lived in closed about a month before I could close. So I had to live in a hotel for a month. I had no problems with the scheduling, delivery to the new house, or pickups. They had no problems with their equipment picking it up, and it was a driveway-to-driveway move. It was a perfect experience for me.

We had moved 10 years before and had such a positive experience with PODS so we thought we'd use them again.
When we moved from North Carolina to Vermont, the gentlemen who dropped off and picked up were absolutely lovely. When I booked, I had been told that PODS does not deliver to Vermont, so we had to store our things in Albany. I was told that we had to get a truck, go to Albany, and offload the pods there. I called a moving company in Rutland, Vermont, and I was told that they don't deliver to a home, but they might deliver to a moving company.
Two days before we were supposed to book the truck, Caesar, the warehouse manager, called me and confirmed that it was a moving company storage lot. So, that was wonderful. I was still gonna have to pay movers, but at least I didn't have to drive to Albany. He worked it out so the pods were delivered to my driveway. He also said he'd call the booking area to make sure that they have the correct information. He was just a doll, and he made my life so lovely.
Caesar is extraordinary and deserves all the accolades he can possibly get. It not only speaks to him and how great he was, but it also speaks to the company wanting to make things as easy as possible for the movee and that's so important for everybody to know that. It saved us $1,500 because that's how much it was gonna cost for a mover.

The PODs representative was great and very informative, and I found the price was better than the other ones I was looking at. The pick-up and drop-off drivers were great. They were real nice, very personable, helpful, and informative. On both ends, everything was great. Also, their website tools were easy to use, and I'm not an Internet person. A real nice guy from PODS called to see how everything went, and how our experience was, which was very nice. We told him everything was great and we're very impressed.

The representative from PODS was very helpful. Both drivers were wonderful when they dropped off and picked up. We had to store our stuff for three weeks and I would say the price is comparable. In fact, it's a little bit better priced.

Compared to other moving companies, PODS had a better reputation and cost. I booked online and then ended up on the phone with somebody because there was missing information. The interaction with the representative was great. They were very knowledgeable and knew what they were doing and got it done.
I chose the 16-foot, but it was way too big. I wanted a 12, but they didn't have one available. Both the driver in Texas and Florida were great and nice. PODS is reliable and has good value for the service. I would recommend it.

Booking with PODS was easy. They explained their process all online. I got three of their 16-foot containers. But we ended up not moving and needed to bring the containers back to the house. That was a big hassle. When they came to pick up the second container, which we had emptied, I was on the phone for 45 minutes with them to set up a time to bring the last container. Well, they didn't bring the last one because they said it's not on the order.
Unfortunately, PODS uses offshore contact people and every time I'm on the phone with them, I'm talking to somebody whose English is not their primary language. So PODS fails in that area. They need to put their contact center on shore.
The driver was awesome. They need to give him a raise. He cleaned up messes that the system did not. I contacted the driver and asked if he could bring the last container when he comes to pick up the empty one. The company said they couldn't bring it until the 11th, but the driver called on the 7th and said he can bring it on the 8th.

In our move across country we researched and received quotes from several moving companies. PODS was the only company that could guarantee deliver dates to the exact day without a 3-30 day window. I am happy to say PODS picked up and delivered exactly as the contract stated. Communication and updates were constant and we always knew where our items were. I would highly recommend PODS and hire local movers to help load and unload.

I had the best experience. It was seamless. Customer service was always so helpful and knowledgeable. I go exactly what I paid for never any issues. I stored a pod for several months and then had it deliver across the country. Everyone I dealt with was top notch. Highly recommend

Everything was good. The only issue I had with PODS was they rescheduled one of my pick-up dates, which threw a wrench into the whole schedule of the move. But they notified me, and when I called to get it straightened out, they worked with me as best they could. But it ended up not happening and I had to jostle some things around to make things work. Everything else was fine. The drivers on both ends were absolutely fine. PODS was what we needed for the move. It was convenient, and it was perfect for what we needed to do. Some friends of ours moved ahead of us and they used PODS as well.

Everything was positive. With PODS, you can have it in your driveway and loaded at your leisure. And then you schedule the move and off-load it at your leisure, so it's convenient.
The driver was excellent. He was very cordial, very conscientious, and things went very well. It was 5-star service and made our move easy.

We were very happy with the service and the ability to move on our own time both loading and unloading. The drop off driver was very conscious about what our needs were and position the pod exactly as we need. The driver who dropped the pot off at her new location was the same way. He care about work location, we needed it how close to the house, it was very friendly.

We found the drivers of the trucks to be professional, friendly, and very informative. We packed and unpacked our own POD, Upon arrival and unpacking nothing was broken or shifted in transport. Couldn't have been more pleased. Using your own lock or locks (there is a space for two locks on the POD).

The pod make moving across country quite easy, as we packed all of our own belongings over a 2 1/2 week period, This allowed us to work and do a little every day until the POd pick up. That went smoothly and the POD was delivered on the day I needed to edit and change to w no issues whatsoever. Unloading was much faster than loading, and we had the pod picked up the following day. Wonderful experience, and not as expensive as I had thought it would be.

Great for convenience and loaded/unloading at your own pace. My only complaint is the roll up door on the Pod itself. Consider installing a guard on the upper front part of the pod to prevent taller items from hitting the door roller and preventing it from opening; no matter how tightly I strapped my belongings to the back of the pod, something somehow managed to shift, just enough to hit the door roller and prevent the door from opening with any ease.

We ordered a POD to be stored on our driveway while we undertook a large remodel. The delivery was timely and the PODS staff both at the office and the driver were very helpful and professional. The POD was perfect for our need. During pick-up, we had a little delay in moving a vehicle that was in the way, but the driver picking up the POD was very patient and (even though he probably got in trouble), he waited. We certainly appreciated his patience and kindness.

Quoting process was involved, but customer service made it simple to contact and keep updated on changes. The planning team was flexible on dates and gave appropriate warnings about potential delays near holidays. POD was clean and leak-free. My unit got delivered to the right place even though I was not present.

I rented a POD for the first time. I was kept informed of all the times for the delivery and pick up times for the POD. The POD was delivered on time and picked up on time. The POD was clean and placed where I asked them to put it on both end of my move.

Great service. Convenient and affordable. I liked the option of having as much time as I needed to load and unload the pod, have it stored for as long as I needed, and be able to access my stuff while it was stored. Super convenient for moving into a new house where we had a gap in between our lease ending and our closing date when we were staying with family.

About the only area of criticism would be the volume or number of emails with constant updates. Had to keep track of every little change with trouble keeping track of each different pod and what was most recent update. PODS was very flexible with any changes, however. Also, they handled our property claim efficiently and without any argument.

When I spoke to a parts representative, he said he was from Thailand. He was the one that gave me the quote of what it will cost to have my things re-delivered. He told me that PODS no longer delivers to my location!!! I him I live about 4-5 hours from the villages Florida, and I see Pods truck go up and down Main Street in Wildwood FL every day. He told me that they would sit my stuff in the yard in Georgia which is about four or five hours away from here where I currently live and I can unload my stuff there??. I had my military child on the phone with me and we were so upset thinking that we would have to arrange to go to Georgia to get my stuff. Then he miraculously came back on the phone after a long wait and said, "Oh yeah we do deliver to your area."!!!
This is what Pods pride their business on. Delivering to customers and bringing it back and even shipping overseas. Very disappointed. I will never use Pods again!!. I spent over $19,000 and had my stuff stored for over four years with Pods. The representative wanted to put in the wrong city to have my belongings we deliver it to me. I told him the city he put in is about two hours away and I don’t want my things delivered to someone else’s home. My order# **.

I contacted several moving/storage companies–PODS had the best price and was able to deliver a POD quickest and get my stuff to my new place faster than their competitors. PODS gave me the best price immediately, compared to some of their competitors that gave me an inflated estimate, only to offer me 50% Off that price a day or two later. Booking was easy. Scheduling POD drop-offs and pick-ups was easy as well. Everything went smoothly and every person I had to interact with was professional. I would recommend PODS for anyone that needs to move.

Used PODS during a home remodel. Great experience. POD arrived on time, container placed in exact position despite being on a very busy street. Return delivery of POD went smoothly allowing us to retrieve our goods and return them to our home in a timely fashion. Really relieved a lot of stress.

I ordered Pods when I put my house up for sale so I can store stuff in there to keep the house less cluttered during the walk throughs. Best decision I ever made. It would have been more costly to hire a moving company to take it to a storage unit then bring it all back. So Pods basically brought the storage unit to me. So freaking awesome. The drivers were super polite, and even put the Pod exactly where i wanted it.

Every person I interacted with at PODS was very flexible and accommodating with the multiple time changes I experienced with three closing transactions at once and moving to a security gated place. Thank you for easing a very stressful couple of days. I would highly recommend using POD for any small, large, short or long distances. Very reasonable priced too.
