We were not sure about using PODS at first but we really needed to move quickly since our house sold pretty quick. PODS made our move so much easier than we ever thought it could be. They delivered our container and picked it up without any hassle. It was so convenient for us. After our house sold, we ended up being displaced for ten days due to our new house not closing on time. PODS was great about extending our time and storing our container until we called them and asked them to deliver. We love PODS and would highly recommend them to everyone!!

I found myself on the phone with your company more times than I desired. I wish when I ordered the first box that the representative would have advised me of the small area an 8’ box had based on the rooms I told him that I would be loading. This cost me more in the long run. I had to have this small box picked up and a 16’ box delivered. This could of need avoided.

Easy to contact, because I was always calling PODS on the phone for customer service. Excellent to navigate website. Most of the drivers are experienced, friendly and helpful. We had 5 PODS that they stored, so it was a big move. It would have been very expensive, but thankfully being an executive member of COSTCO helped keep the price down. My only complaint would be that there was not always availability to schedule PODS service when I wanted it scheduled, so I had to really strategize the schedule to make sure I didn't incur extra charges through changes or monthly storage fees.

We have moved out of state and had very good experience using Pods. We used them many times and had no problem. Everything was always delivered when they said it would be.. Customer service is very helpful and would use them again.

PODS met and exceeded expectations and was very helpful every step of the way. Would definitely use again and highly recommend. Only issues were cost as I had to get a large unit for a X country move per company and once my credit card stalled out from so many moving charges and within 18 hours I was in “collections” with PODS and almost lost my place in travel line and delivery and such. Many calls to rectify. Otherwise exceptional!

PODS was awesome! The entire process was smooth from start to finish. Delivery and pickup were both handled seamlessly and on schedule, making my move much less stressful. We had a very complicated move that required us to move out of our house sooner than expected into an airbnb, and then across the country to our final destination. Pods made this great as they shipped the pod to the facility near our new location in Fort Collins, CO well ahead of time and were able to deliver the pod the day we were moving in. The cost was affordable for a cross country move and our items arrived with minimal damage (cost us very little to repair, and was just a risk of how things were packed).

I used PODS for a transborder move from Boulder, CO to North York, Ontario. The Longmont team was exceptional. No issues at all - drivers were prompt and knew exactly what to do with unload and pickup. Albeit I do see that PODS is really intended for self load at a house now. The cross-border team was also really good in preparing me for clearing customs. We also used the storage capability in Mississauga. Since PODS has this capability, this alone made it worthwhile, and why I'm giving a favorable review. The team members in Mississauga are also exceptional and were very good with communications.
The Toronto drivers are where things fell really short. I ended up using a city service for one of the PODS. The driver called me at 7am (where I was lucky to already be awake) in the morning and asked if I had the afternoon window when I had scheduled the early window with the scheduling team. This isn't the type of thing one wants to hear on delivery day (particularly when having to coordinate elevator usage and labor unloading movers). Guy also barely spoke English - and I'm pretty sure he wasn't French bilingual either.
In retrospect, if I knew I was moving to a condo I would have utilized the unload capability at Mississauga at the outset. This ended up being much more efficient and easy to schedule than City service. It would be good to have PODS operators make this option clear as the first person that helped me with the first POD did not mention it - they only mentioned City Service.

PODs was an excellent choice to move several of my items from FL to NJ. The pick ups and drop offs worked well for me. We had considered another option but after receiving all the POD information I knew this was the best option for me to use.

They were exactly as I was told. Had to make a date change and they were very accommodating. The service and people were pleasant and very careful with drop off and pick up. Everything made it with no or minimal scratch but that could have been the packer which is me. I was surprised nothing was broken with all the glass. I definitely would use PODS again, although I don’t think a move is going to happen. Some work by individual but price wise it is worth it.

All the people who assisted on the phone, and pick up and delivery drivers were very helpful and professional. We used three pods to complete our cross country move. The process could not have gone smoother. I priced other options, but PODS was a much better option. I would highly recommend them to others and I would use them again.

It was a pleasure renting a space for storage. I was disappointed with the outcome of having an increased in payment twice before a year was up. The hallway was lit well. The inside unit for storage space was very dark.

Awesome experience with PODS... I had to get 2 PODS, one went to where I moved and the other went in storage and was in storage for over a year and everything worked out great! Anytime I called them with questions they were very professional and always answered thoroughly. Great Reps and Agents! I would use them again if ever needed and I highly recommend PODS!!!

Using PODS for our move was extremely cost effective and had no issues with the delivery to our house, picking up the PODS having them hold the PODS for two months before being delivered at our new home.

Even though our move was small, every step of the way was seamless. My biggest concern was packing the PODS and having the contents arrive intact. Videos helped, along with moving blankets and ratchet straps. From booking to final pickup, I wouldn’t change a thing. I highly recommend PODS!

Everything went very well. PODS could have been a little cleaner, and door was sticky, but delivery & pickup were perfect. Would use them again. This was our second time using them. I trust PODS more than the competitors.

Very efficient. Drivers were very courteous and respectful of the property. Container was clean when delivered. No damage to items in container when it was received back. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again.

I had a friend that used Pods and I helped him move with it. It was convenient and they were happy, so I went that route as well. I booked a 16-foot pod over the phone, and the interaction was great. The pod was perfect too. It was clean when I got it and clean when I left it. The price was a little more than what I thought I was going to pay, but I know gas prices and it was a long haul. Apart from that, the pickup and delivery drivers were very good. All my stuff came and nothing was damaged. It took a little long for them to pick it up. It was out of my driveway after I unloaded it. Other than that, it was great.

My experience with PODS went well. They were on time picking the container up. I had a group that loaded for me. It was in storage about five months, and I finally got moved into my house. The drivers were all personable and I didn't have any issues at all with any of them. They were all a good group of people. When they got down here, there was a tree limb in the way. So, I had to sign a waiver. I didn't have any place else to go with the pod. I just told them to do what they had to do. If it broke, then I'd handle it. So that's basically what happened. I was satisfied with PODS.

DO NOT EXPECT PODS TO TREAT ITS CUSTOMERS FAIRLY. We ordered an 8' x 8' POD to temporarily hold furniture while we were refinishing the floors in our home. We had the required space in our backyard. However, when the delivery showed up on April 1, the driver was unable to get the correct angle to drop off the POD in the yard, and instead left it in the alley behind our home. Because we did not have city approval to keep the POD there, we were unable to use it and called on April 3 to have the POD picked up.
A POD driver picked it up on April 6. The charge for this was $470.16. A POD representative stated on May 14 that PODS would refund the monthly charge ($182.10), which was some consolation, but it is now June 1 and they are refusing to do even that. We just want everyone to be cautious when dealing with this company and know that they do not treat their customers with fairness and common sense.

We had a very positive experience with PODS....from the day the POD was dropped off in Rochester, NY and later picked up by the same person, Bill, I received good service. Bill assured me that when the POD would be dropped off on Johns Island SC, the driver would help me get the door open that seemed stuck (in the down position, thank goodness). When Roy dropped the POD off, he was great...and he did get the door open. When we had the POD emptied, the company sent Jalen to pick up the empty unit. He arrived bright and early and was very helpful. The POD is gone, but the experience was great.

I booked PODS on the phone. I got the smallest container which fit my needs. The first driver is Mike from Iowa. The second one is Moe. They were both very professional, respectful to the community, and thoughtful to where the container should be put to make the least disturbance to the parking lot. I will recommend PODS, even though it's not that cheap. It's expensive compared to U-Haul, for example. And it's just a local moving company, but it's good.

We'd heard good things about Pods from friends and family that had used them. We started online and then ended up having to work with someone. My experience with their reps was good. They had a lot of information that helped us decide what size to use, and all the ins and outs, how long it would take, and things like that.
The driver in Honolulu called us ahead of time. And we talked about how it was gonna work ‘cause it was a multiple parking lot, multiple cars. So, we worked all that out. We knew exactly when he was gonna get there. It was good. It was a little different on the receiving end. When they picked up the empty pod here, we didn't get a call ahead of time. And we didn't get a text ahead of time the night before. So, there were some communication issues in the Colorado Springs side of things. But everything went smoothly. Everything was in place when we got it. The folks in Honolulu were terrific as well. Between the driver and the agents we worked with, they made it really simple. It was a good experience for us.

I've used PODS before, which is why I used them again. I bought a condo and I had to wait three months for it to be renovated. So, I used PODS for storage, and then I had them pick up and deliver at the new place. The pod was perfect for what I needed. The booking process was easy and the reps were consistent. They let me know what was going on. People should use PODS.

It’s been a nightmare every step of the way. Don't believe the quote they give you... Fraud big time. I got charged multiple times the same amount and they don't want to refund me. When you call to speak to customer service they don't even speak properly English... Fraud Fraud Fraud.

We used PODS when we moved to Florida 21 years ago. So, we elected to use them again. I booked them online. I talked to people as well. I connected with both during the process. I thought I could get by with a small pod, but they recommended I use the larger one and ended up using that. Everything was good. However, I was a little disappointed. I thought the pod would be picked up and delivered within 7 to 10 days, but it ended up being longer than that. But that was probably my misunderstanding. They picked it up on May 13th and it didn't get delivered until the 28th. It was a bit longer. But everything went very smoothly as far as the pickup date.

I like the convenience of Pods. Their reps were professional and helpful, and guided me through what I needed to get. My experience with the driver was all good. He came and was ready to drop it, and I showed him where I wanted it, and he set it down there. He was really helpful. I used it for about a month and called them to come get it. They came and got it when they said they would. They were reliable and have a good product, and I would recommend them.

Be careful when renting a PODS for monthly storage. The website quotes a price MUCH lower than what you will end up paying and their discounts are for the first month only. I thought I was getting a 12-foot storage unit for $185 plus tax per month but ended up paying $291 a month! Their policy about the discount applying only to the first month is not at all clear or obvious.

The Customer Advocacy team investigated my concerns thoroughly, acknowledged their errors including the scheduling failure and billing discrepancy, and made it right. I booked a 16ft PODS container to move from Florida to Austin, TX and clearly specified May 29th as my final delivery date. PODS completed the pickup from FL without any issues, but completely failed to schedule the final delivery to TX on their end. I only found out when I called customer service the day before my arrival. They told me the next available delivery date is June 8th — 10 days late. My family of 4, including 2 young kids, is arriving in Austin on May 29th with no furniture, no household items, and nowhere to turn. My spouse has to report to work on June 1st.
I have called PODS multiple times and all they do is create tickets. I now have two open tickets (#** and #**) and zero resolution. The warehouse manager number they gave me doesn't even connect — it has calling restrictions. Front-line reps openly admit they cannot do anything beyond creating tickets. This is a complete failure of service. PODS made the scheduling error, not me. Yet my family is the one suffering the consequences. I would strongly warn anyone planning a move — especially with a family and a hard deadline — to think twice before trusting PODS with your move.

I didn't want to have to deal with U-Haul and going up and down the ramp, and I liked PODS because it was right there on the ground. I booked the 16-foot pod by phone and everybody was very nice. I got a lot of stuff, so I could probably use three of them but they fit my needs. The drivers were good, whether it was the pickup or the drop-off. We had nothing that moved, was out of place, or broken. Everything was just how we put it in there. We had kind of a tight situation on where to put the pod, and they moved it no matter how many times. They had to wiggle it around to get it where we wanted it, and never complained about it. I've had quite a few people ask me if PODS was fairly reasonable and it was, because it made my move easier. There was no doubt. PODS was cheaper than I had planned it to be, so I was thrilled with that. It was a great experience. I would do it again if I had to move.

My interaction with the Pods reps was pretty good. We were using a discount code, which made it a little bit complicated. But otherwise, it was a good experience. We requested three 16-foot containers. All of the interactions with the drivers were great. It was pretty seamless. I called and scheduled the moving part and it was taken care of for us. They moved them from one place to another. There were very little issues, and everything was resolved quickly. It was a good experience. It was expensive. But if the need arises for that sort of move, it's worth doing.

DO NOT USE PODS. This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences we have ever had. Our POD was supposed to be delivered yesterday. We received repeated delivery updates promising arrival by 4 PM, then 5 PM, then 6 PM, then 7 PM, then 8 PM, then 9 PM, and even 10:15 PM. Each time we called, we were told it was still coming.
Near MIDNIGHT, after spending the entire day waiting and rearranging our lives, a representative finally told us the driver was not even allowed by law to deliver after 7 PM. Then why were we repeatedly being given delivery times well past 7 PM in emails and by customer service?? They rescheduled us for today. Now we’ve received ANOTHER delay notification pushing delivery back again.
We have to be completely moved out by Friday. Because PODS has failed to deliver as promised, we cannot schedule movers, cannot finalize our move, and are now losing valuable time and incurring additional costs. What’s worse is the complete lack of accountability. No one helps. No one gives accurate information. No one offers real solutions. We are simply left at their mercy while our move falls apart. If PODS misses your delivery, apparently that becomes YOUR problem—not theirs. Save yourself the stress, wasted time, and extra expense. DO NOT USE PODS.

We used Pods for storage while we painted our house. They were a little harder to get to. You have to email them or call them. But generally, I got a good response from them. No problems in picking it up, except it looks like they ran a little bit across my yard, my grass. And I didn't tell them that. It wasn't a problem, but I just noticed that. Because when they delivered it, we have a circular driveway, which isn't paved off the street, that doesn't have a curb and gutter. It was a little harder, probably to get it in, but they did it, and it was in the right place, where I needed it. I was very happy with my experience. There was a lot of rain. I was worried, but it never got any rain in it, which was good.

I like that I didn't have to go somewhere and find a storage quickly. Out the back door and into the pod. I also worked with Aaron and he was good.

They last minute changed my delivery… They last minute changed my delivery date for 3 days later. They notified me on Memorial Day that my pod would not be delivered as promised the next day. I have to have this stuff moved out of the house on Tuesday and they have completely left my in a bad situation. I will never use them again! Completely unreliable.

I needed storage for a little while. And I needed my stuff to be moved to a different state. It took PODS two or three days each time they picked up and dropped off. They did excellently with it. Everything went smoothly. It went like PODS said. No issues. I would use them again. In the long run, it's cheaper than a storage.

Provided detailed delivery instructions and both homeowners were present for POD container delivery. The delivery driver refused to park the container in the requested location (a previous RV/boat parking spot) claiming that the wheels of their delivery machine could not operate on grass. Pictures were obtained while 2 of 4 wheels operated on the grass of the aforementioned spot in order to navigate the driveway.
The requested container location has concrete gravel beneath a shallow grass area and is flat and level. A large boat and trailer were parked there for years without any sinking or issues with small dolly wheels. There was no risk to the company's equipment in this request. At the time of delivery the homeowners were very clear that the POD container could not impede access to the driveway for an upcoming construction project and the delivery driver refused to offer any solution.
Per the signed rental agreement section 14. Placement of Unit (c) At Customer's request, company may access or operate on a lawn, unpaved surface, or other non-reinforced area of Customer's premises. According to customer service this specific PODS facility has "their own rule that they will not deliver a container to even be 1-2ft over grass". They attempted to schedule additional services at additional charges for repositioning, without confirming that this PODS location would perform the requested alteration. Upon inquiry the manager refused. This is an example of false advertising and predatory billing practices. They offered no resolution or refund. If you search online there are hundreds of similar reports.

The drivers who picked up and moved and dropped off the containers were great. My son said, "Make sure you pack it in real well because of rocking and this and that." I watched them go over a few big bumps and this and that and I was scared to open it up. When I opened it, not a thing had moved. So, it was great. I would tell others to give PODS a shot because it's well worth it. They give you time to load it up and time to take it off instead of hurrying and doing it all in one day. The only thing is the price was cheaper in the beginning, and then, all of a sudden, it went up.

We were moving, and we needed to store some things before we made the move. We went with Pods, and the first thing they brought us was the pod, which they put in our driveway. And we stored a bunch. The pod was clean. And it was sturdy enough for what we had. Then they asked us to leave it clean, so we left it very clean when it was time for them to come and pick it up. Then once we closed on our house, we had it moved to the new house. Then, when we emptied it out, they came and picked it up. It was pretty simple. The drop-off was great. The drivers were very nice. They did it quickly because we were in a neighborhood, and moved to a neighborhood. It was a big old truck that they delivered it in. And they did it very timely. The way they did the money was just exactly the way they said it would be. And when they get within 15 minutes of your house, they call and tell you where they are. Our experience with Pods was very smooth.

I needed some place to store everything so we could replace the flooring in our home. I selected PODS because I had seen them around and they seemed to have an okay reputation with everybody I knew who had used them. Their booking process was easy enough. I'm old. I'd rather talk to a person, but it wasn't bad figuring out online and it was clear cut.
The only thing was they could not deliver the size that I needed. So, I ended up with a bigger one and it took up an awful lot of space. They didn't have any of the size I ordered. The pod that I got was a little beat up. The guy said he didn't really have any of the size I ordered that were usable. I don't know what people do to them, but it was serviceable. The delivery people were excellent. The guys that dropped it off and picked it up were super nice.

I have a Costco executive card and when I was looking for storage for a couple of months, PODS popped up. So, I used my Costco executive membership to get a pod because it was the best deal out there. We got the 16x10 pod, which was the biggest one they had, because I had to clear out my garage so we could put new garage doors in and a water system. The process was mostly done online and it went smoothly. PODS kept me updated with text messages letting me know when it was gonna be delivered. The two guys who came out and delivered the pod were great, and the guy who came out and picked it up was great, too.

After booking the delivery of my long-distance container more than a month prior, the company unilaterally cancelled the order on the evening previous to my delivery, leaving me with an already packed house and no move, after charging almost the whole total amount to my credit card. Without proper notice, just a random call from an unidentified person, citing untrue claims that there is not possible to maneuver the delivery vehicle into either of my 2 driveways, in a broad street with a median, where even huge trucks download goods for businesses nearby.
A next-door neighbor used them before, so they did operate in the area, which proves that the claim was not true. No driver came and physically checked the area as they claimed either. PODS had more than a month to evaluate whether the delivery was possible or not at my address and notify me with enough time to start looking for another options. The alternative offered was for me to bring my stuff to their place. Really??? Absolutely awful customer service. They jeopardized the timing of my move and added a terrible experience to an already stressful situation.

Lost my home in the fires. Needed storage to keep supplies dry while I rebuild my new home. The POD leaked and all my remaining stuff that I own is now destroyed, again. POD gave an immediate rejection of my claim with no data. After I reviewed on Yelp, they reached back at out to try to appease, but continued to do nothing. The storage box leaks - I watched it with my own eyes. PODS claims to have leak tested (within a couple hours of picking it up). They simply lie and do not stand behind their products.
Their call centers are not local, and they don't know where you are actually located when they talk to you. Save yourself time, money, and anger by going with any other company. This one is a big biz cesspool. They'll most likely respond immediately to this, so that you all don't learn just how bad they really are at responding to customers once they have your money. Sometimes takes 45 minutes to get them on the phone after you get through the call center nonsense.

I was doing a remodel, and a contractor was going to redo the floor, so I needed about half the furniture out of the house. It was easier for us to load it into a pod than have to transport it. I booked online with PODS, and I also called to see if there were any better offers, but there were none. The pricing could have been a little bit better for the length of time that I had it. But they were very helpful and the drivers both times were great.

Booking the pod over the phone was much easier than doing it online because it was much easier to get all of my questions answered that way. The drivers were all very professional and great folks. They did a great job. I apologized because I was gawking. It was the first time I've ever seen something like that. I told them, "I apologize. This is just cool stuff." The equipment was great. I looked at that to see what kind of condition it was, and it was in pristine condition, as far as I got it and returned it. It was cleaned out and ready to go for the next person. Compared to the other things I could have had to pay, PODS' price was perfect.

On or about May 14, 2026 Pods promised to deliver a 16'x8'x8' container on Saturday, May 16, 2026. They gave me a delivery window between 1:30p.m. and 4:30p.m. At or about 3:45p.m. someone called to say they rescheduled the delivery, not for one or two hours late, not for the following day, not for two days late, but for three days later. I spoke to a customer representative named Andy, who provided no information, or help. I demanded to speak to his supervisor.
Ultimately, a person named George came on the line and identified himself as a supervisor. He was useless. He didn't explain why my pods delivery had been rescheduled at the last minute. He refused to contact other drivers to see if they would deliver the pod. He refused to contact his supervisor indicating that his supervisor didn't take phone calls. He refused to contact the warehouse to see what other arrangements could be made. He refused to explain why other customers would get their deliveries before mine.
I explained that my wife was undergoing a very serious surgery and that I detrimentally relied on Pods promise to deliver the pod on May 16th. That I needed the time to clear a space in the house to make room for a medical grade bed and other medical equipment. That unless Pods was willing to make the situation right that Pods was interfering with other scheduled deliveries and was in fact interfering with my ability to prepare the house for my wife's difficult recovery. I was on the phone with George requesting that he do something to help out, I reasoned with him, pleaded with him, and begged him to help. All he would do is say he understood and that he was sorry. Yet he took no positive action to help me or my wife. I explained that I would have to write a detailed review of the company's refusal to help.

My friend had used PODS and going with PODS, I liked that I could load everything myself. I would know what was in there and what was gonna make it. I called PODS and talked to somebody on the phone. Booking the pod was easy, and the pod was good quality. PODS has all those little things that we could use the straps on, so I was able to hang my canoe upside down from the ceiling, and it didn't take up floor space. I was able to secure all my furniture tightly so that nothing was damaged. I only had 14 days to return it but the options that I had were not within that time period because of the location. PODS is a safe way to get your stuff from one place to another but it takes a long time. I had to sit for two weeks waiting on my stuff. I couldn't get it delivered as quickly as I wanted. I moved across the states, and I had to wait a long time before I had my bed to sleep in.

I needed to store some furnishings during a construction project. I used PODS before in another house, so I immediately called them and they were great. They came, picked up the pod right on schedule, dropped it off in front of my house on the street, held it for me, then returned it and picked it up within 24 hours after it was emptied. So, I have no complaints. The pod was sturdy, clean, and big enough. It was a size 12 and it held everything I needed it to hold. The driver who dropped it off was very nice and told me how much room he needed. It was a pretty quick process. Also, the PODS website explained everything and I got a lot of updates, so that was helpful. I had the pod for about six months. It went sometime in October then I had it redelivered in April. The monthly fee was a little expensive, but it was what it was. I highly recommend PODS.

One star (considering the cost) to the lack of information, the time in transit is ridiculously long. The container didn't even look like the ones advertised (though not surprising) and upon taking measurements it was somewhat smaller. Anyway, the cost of a rental truck would have been cheaper in my case.

Very shady business practice. I wanted a quote for a long-distance move. The agent instead used a sneaky play on words to get a hold to lock in the discount. I now have a confirmed order. I'm still online for 45 minutes waiting to cancel the order!! You can do everything online except cancel!!

This is the second time that I've used PODS and they were a little late in picking up the pod, but that was okay. They were busy. I did most of my transactions online and I like that, but I like to talk to a live person sometimes. When I was trying to get them to pick up the pod, I couldn't get ahold of a live person and that was a negative for me. The first time that I used them, the service was just right on the money. But this time, it was 3 three days when I notified them to pick it up that they were able to get it. Other than that, the person who picked up the pod was very nice and I was amazed that he could back that thing up the way he did. It was interesting. I will use them again.

I needed temporary storage and I heard about PODS on television. Booking was easy and the lady was fantastic in terms of quality of service. I went with the 16-foot container because it was the largest size available. It was clean and the doors worked. I did not find PODS to be price-competitive and that determined how long I kept it. I had the pod for about six weeks. I changed the plan because the pod was about twice what it would cost me for self-storage. So, I had my content storage transferred to a self-storage unit. I am waiting for a refund because I cut the service short. Other than the price, everything was excellent.

I used PODS for a long-distance move and, while the moving/storage service itself was generally acceptable, my experience with the post-delivery property damage claim process has been extremely disappointing. (The Leetsdale PA office was the local facility that handled the PA portions of my PODS move.) During delivery and pickup, damage occurred to my property, including lawn and driveway/asphalt edge damage. Since reporting the issue, the primary challenge has not been a disagreement over dollar amounts, but rather the handling of the claim itself.
The process has involved long communication gaps, repeated follow-ups, incomplete consideration of documented damages, and inconsistent responses between the various parties involved in the claim process. Despite providing photos, contractor estimates, and supporting documentation, the matter has remained unresolved for an extended period of time with little proactive communication.
What has been most frustrating is the apparent lack of accountability and coordination between PODS, the third-party administrators, and the adjusters handling the file. Communication often resumed only after escalations or external complaints were filed. I understand that claims investigations take time, and I have tried to remain patient and professional throughout the process. However, customers should not have to repeatedly chase updates or struggle to obtain clear answers regarding the status and scope of their claim. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone using PODS to carefully document delivery conditions and understand that, if property damage occurs, the claims handling experience may be significantly more difficult than expected.

When we unloaded the pod, the boxes at the end were soaking wet. The items in the boxes were covered with mold. I filed a complaint, but was told their investigation was unable to identify any physical damage or defect to the PODS container that would support liability for the reported water intrusion or resulting damages. Very disappointing that they do not stand behind their product.

The PODS service was excellent. 1 million thank yous to Charles - he drove on two legs of our journey (to and from the PODS storage facility). He made the move so easy, and was just great to work with. We had to reschedule multiple times, and the app made it easy to do that, along with text reminders to alert us a few days before each scheduled pickup or drop off. The PODS guidelines for packing were great, so nothing was damaged in the move (love those ratcheting tie-downs). If you use their storage facilities, be aware that some but not all are climate controlled. Lastly, we also considered other companies, but their containers were very flimsy by comparison.

We needed extended storage for our move, so we went with Pods. We got the pod in February and turned it in in April. Communication was easy because they said they did exactly what they said. They would let us know when it was going to be delivered and when it was going to be picked up. However, there were problems with everything with this order. Initially, we tried to book a 22-footer and we were told that we would get one, but the driver delivered a 16-footer, dropped it and left. We had equipment damaged inside as well. Our freezer and the trailer I pulled with my trike were damaged. I would not recommend Pods to anybody. There was no email saying, "If there's ever a problem, then you submit a claim this way."
We hired people to pack too. The two guys showed up two hours late and worked for about 45 minutes to finish what my wife already had loaded up, and then did their own review, and wanted cash to finish moving things out of the house that we weren't taking with us because we didn't have the room. It was a totally crappy experience and I would tell people not to do it, to run a U-Haul and get a storage. That way, they can make sure that their personal goods aren't destroyed or damaged.

My experience with PODS so far has been great, but I'm not done with them yet. I got two pods from them. I requested a 16-footer and an eight-footer. One went fantastically. The other one is still in storage. I used PODS because it was feasible for my application, where I had to store the deceased family's belongings until we distribute them throughout the family. The drivers were fantastic. They were pleasant. They came in the dropping off of a pod and the picking up of the pod. Everything went well. We opened the smaller pod, and everything was intact. Everything was secured in there. They have a reasonable price as well. It was a very pleasant experience.

PODS’ price was the reason why we went with them, and the reps who set me up were great. I got the 16-foot container because the 12-footer was more expensive. The first driver who dropped off the first pod had a malfunction with the lock. After pounding on it with a pipe, he finally told us to just use a hammer and pound it if we can't open it. I called PODS and told them I am not pounding on their pod and I can't lock it. So the guys exchanged it out. We still have our pod, even though it says they picked up one, and the problem is that they charged us for two deliveries. The guy said it had been credited to our account. I'm hoping I'm not going to have it for more than a month. If I do, then it's already paid for. We'll see how it goes when it all washes out and how quick the refund comes.
The process with PODS was easy and they were great about finding a place to put the container, even when the guy said he couldn’t do the two places I chose. The pod just sits in the street and we were concerned about all the rain possibilities. But it hasn't rained, so it hasn't been challenged with the flooding yet. So, it's been good so far.

My booking experience with Pods was great. The associate was awesome. He helped me with all my needs right away. There were no issues with anything on it. He told me the pricing and helped me with booking everything.
I also used their app a little bit, which was pretty good. It's very self-explanatory how to navigate in it. It's not really anything majorly confusing. Even an older person would be all right with using it because I don't think they would have a problem figuring out what to do.
Both drivers, drop-off and pickup, were awesome guys. On the ball, doing their thing. They were really professional. The system is just great, the way that it did it. Something you don't see all the time. It was a great experience to watch.
The only thing that PODS needs to do more of is to try to find out the laws in the different cities. I didn't know that I couldn't have a pod on my street. That's not PODS's fault. It's probably my fault also for not checking and not knowing that we would need a permit in my area to put a pod in the street. If I had known that, I probably wouldn't have put it in the street. I probably would have put it on my lawn just to save headaches from city municipalities.

The absolute worst customer service I've ever received! Booked a POD delivery one week ago and I was scheduled to have it dropped off today (Thursday). Late morning, on Thursday, I received a phone call from PODs that they were not able to deliver it today. I told the POD representative that I had movers coming on Friday morning (8am-9am) and we had to be out of our sold home first thing Saturday morning. They told me they could have it to me by Friday morning. I went to PODs online at 4:00pm Thursday and it said it wasn't going to arrive until between 3pm-6pm on Friday. So I immediately called PODs and escalated my call to a manager.
The manager "Rachel 0447" was the most unhelpful person I have ever spoke to. She told me she couldn't do anything to get my POD to me by Friday morning. I asked if I could have the phone number to the West Palm Beach FL facility and she told me that it was an internal use phone number only. So I asked her to call and see if she could get some clarification on our delivery time. She told me no she couldn't and even if she could it would not change anything. My question is why have an internal phone number that can't be used to help a customer who has a problem with their delivery by no fault of their own. I asked several times to speak to her supervisor and she told me she was the highest supervisor and wouldn't transfer me to someone else. So PODS absolutely screwed me and now I'm scrambling to find an alternate solution.

When my 8’ pod arrived the outside measurements were 7’3 1/2” X 7’ 2 1/2”. With the 2X4 and 4X4 inside framing you barely had 7X7. I don’t know why they can’t be truthful about the size. How do you fit a 7’3” sofa in a 7’ box ??

The phone call with PODS was good. However, either I misunderstood what was going to happen or it was not conveyed properly. My understanding was they were going to pick it up and send it right down to our new home. Instead, what happened was it went to a distribution facility nearby, and then I had to select to move it. That was not what I understood at all. It was not what I heard on the phone. Because I know that they also record their conversations, I asked for the recording because maybe I did misunderstand. That was the only part of the whole experience with PODS that was very frustrating. Everything else was great. The people who dropped off the pod were great, skilled, did whatever, where we asked them to put it in everything. When they picked it up, it was the same thing.

I've used PODs multiple times and they've been consistent with great customer service and have been very reliable. Even with our out of state move, they've made the whole process super convenient. I love that they usually have promos going on also! We really appreciate that Preston went above and beyond to get our pod into our driveway because it was a tight squeeze. All legs of the service seemed to go smoothly. The original delivery. The relocation to our new house. And also the final pick up. I was there during the original delivery and was able to meet the driver. I think his name was Gary. He was very pleasant. I was pleased with the experience. I didn’t have any in person contact after that original delivery, however all seemed to go well. It was nice not to have to take off work to be there. Placement of the PODS was good. There wasn’t any damage that we could see to our driveway or yard. I would recommend using PODS to others.

I was familiar with the PODS name and decided to use them for moving and storage. I called to book the eight-foot pod and it was good and comfortable dealing with the rep. I talked to the driver several times and the same guy came both times. He was very nice and friendly, and took the pod exactly where I wanted it. It was an overall good experience. I had a little delay in picking up the pod exactly when I wanted and had to wait an extra day. But that's the only issue. I’m extremely satisfied and I would use PODS again if I need to.

Our container was delivered to the incorrect address without any prior communication from the driver which is in their contract. This error resulted in a neighbor’s driveway being blocked, leading to the involvement of the HOA. When we contacted customer service, we experienced significant difficulty reaching a resolution as they could not reach a driver to move the pod and were disconnected multiple times. I did speak to several customer service reps and with the delivery facility, who apologized for these issues and confirmed that a full refund would be issued for the inconvenience. Pods Corporate has offered a free month POD rent, a mere $250 value for one of the worst experiences ever. I would never recommend this company.

Customer # **. Overall the experience was good. I did have one issue with a charge for “leveling the POD on an uneven surface". My driveway is paved and I got charged for an unpaved surface. I called to request the $25 refund. I was told that the driver was to take pictures upon delivery but didn’t. I took pictures and sent them via email as requested and never heard back. I used PODS because I needed a place to store things until my garage floor was finished and OK to walk and drive on. It worked out great. The Pod was delivered on-time and the person that delivered it was a real gentleman. He worked diligently to get it set in place where I wanted it. He obviously knew what he was doing. It was the same when he came to pick it up. The service overall was great.

We were pleased with the mechanics of moving belongings to a new location, just not the folks involved. The schedulers were terrible. They canceled first day delivery of empty pod because it snowed. They delayed twice more at the last minute, then advised us we needed a permit for the delivery vehicle, again the night prior to supposed delivery.

The first POD was delivered to our new home only 30 minutes late due to it being delivered to the Kent facility. Second POD on time, and both were retrieved on the day(s) of delivery as promised. Your service was also used in late May, which was positive. My only complaint was booking for the March process when the address and even the city were incorrect. This was eventually corrected.

I used PODS to transfer my household furnishings and items to another state to our new home. From the start when the 16ft box was dropped off at my house in NJ everything went super smooth. The driver was very professional and experienced and also picking it back up. The pod arrived here in Florida as scheduled and the driver that dropped the box was also professional and very experienced. The next day a new driver picked the empty box up and was very professional also and experienced at what he does. The whole process from beginning to the end was super smooth. I would definitely recommend pods if you are moving. You load it yourself and they do the rest!!!

Besides being at the very end of the scheduled window for the pickup, Driver was inexperienced in backing up the truck and moving pod. He damaged rose bush next to driveway along with tree at back of driveway and hit into our fence, bending it over.

Planned a move from RI to Maine. Was told 30 days you get the pod. When it's full 1 day to pick up and in Maine within 3 days. Not true. Took almost a week for them to pick it up. Then another week to deliver it. They dropped it off with 2 days left in the month. They promptly charged me almost $500 more for having the pod 2 days over the 30 days. Huge surprise though when it was empty they came and got it right away. Scam. Don't recommend at all. They give false information and then rack up the fees while you wait for your things to arrive.

I am a Maintenance Director for a skilled nursing facility and we used 2 pod units for the duration of our 1 1/2 full building remodel. The pods were a god send as we were able to use them for the different phases and we could store a wide variety of medical equipment. One of the best decisions. My husband and I used PODS as we were moving only a couple miles away but with 3 young kids and no family help as we live in another state we needed time to pack boxes and just more time to get “moved.” PODS was the best option- our closing dates got changed a few times and it was so easy to just go online and change the dates of when the PODS would arrive at our house and when they would be picked up to go to our “new” house. For a contingent home sale PODS literally was our saving grace. The drivers were amazing and also everything moved amazing- nothing was broken when we unpacked.

I am extremely happy with my PODS experience. Because I was not moving the entire contents of my home in Florida, the moving company I had hoped to use suggested that PODS would be a smarter, more economical move. They were right! I packed the items I intended to move; when the POD was delivered, I contracted with the moving company to load the POD the next day (they knew the best way to do that task; I would have had no idea!); on the third day the loaded POD was picked up. Two-and-a-half weeks later the POD was delivered to my home in NY; a weekend family get-together unloaded the POD; three days later it was picked up. The men who delivered and picked up the POD were professional, courteous, and always smiling and engaging. I do not intend to have to move again, but would not hesitate to use PODS again, and would recommend PODS to anyone considering a move.

The actual move went very well. The pricing was significantly less than we expected. These are by far the most important things. On the negative side, the website and invoices intentionally hide the actual pricing of the service. This is exceptionally annoying if you just want to know how much.

Was happy with the PODS method of moving. I think they need to be clearer when communicating the time delay between pickup and delivery to destination. The delivery and pickup drivers in Texas and Florida were absolutely the best. Polite and efficient and tolerant with the short delays caused by needing entry into a gated community. I would recommend PODS for moving on a budget.

We needed to store items from our home during mold remediation. We rented a POD because of our previous experience using this service. We had the POD for several months during the winter. We were very happy with the entire experience, from delivery, to use and finally pickup. This was so much better than renting a storage facility. If we needed something we had stored in the POD it was easy to just go out to the POD and get it! PODS is a game changer and massive time saver if you are remodeling, or have to temporarily move stuff out of your living space for a short period of time.

This is our second time using PODS. We love how easy it is to use, and makes moving a bit less stressful especially if doing a long distance move. I needed a pod to move from Texas to St. Louis. I liked the price of Pods. Professional movers wanted $8,000. I got it for 1,700 and all I had to do was pay a couple of teenagers to help box me up and move me in and out. I booked their service over the phone. I talked to several of their reps. One really was not very clear when she explained. But the other one was. Both drivers were very professional, prompt, and courteous.

Pods was very good. I used them for moving, and the online booking process was nice and easy. I got an eight-foot container. The driver was very nice. He called me before coming to pick it up. Then, he came, he picked it up, he showed me how he's doing it. It was very nice. Then he came and another driver called me before unloading, putting it back in my apartment complex. He was so nice and he did it in a very small apartment complex. They were polite, and they knew their job very well. There were so many cars. So there are not only small or big cars, SUVs, and minivans were there. And he maneuvered everything in such a small space very nicely. They did an awesome job. It was a very nice experience.

I liked my customer service person from PODS. She explained the process very well. She was very thorough. I got a small container. It was eight-foot. The driver was excellent. The delivery was fine. We put an AirTag in it so I could follow where the truck was and everything was on point. I had a good experience. PODS has good customer service.

BEWARE. Their 'coverage' is not real. They say one 16 foot container will hold a 3 bedroom house. What a crock. Not even close. One 16 foot container + one 8 foot container did not get all of my 2 bedroom house, and we didn't even bring any of the beds or mattresses. 16 foot container arrived at new home just fine. 8 foot container arrived with everything in it smashed. I opened a claim because the move comes with coverage. Fill out the forms. Take pictures of everything. And save everything for over a month while they deliberate. I had to reach out to them over a month later to be told, oh, we denied your claim. Very close to ten grand I spent with PODS. CROOKS. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

My employer had obtained a pod from the PODS industry and it was very successful, very nice, and they moved to Texas. So when I was planning on moving, I decided to choose PODS and it was a very nice experience.
You call them, and you ask questions about the size of the pod exactly because I need to know. I wasn't for sure exactly how much the biggest size I needed was for the furniture that I had. But they gave me the largest that they had, a 16-footer. I needed two of them, and then they gave me a quote, and that was reasonable. It was when I decided to go with them.
Because if I had to get a U-Haul and I had to hire someone and load it up and unload it and put it into storage, it would be so much more convenient for me just to have it dropped off, and I can load it up as time goes on. I wasn't in a rush. It wasn't a daily charge, which was nice. I was able to properly load my deposit at my convenience.
When I ordered the first pod, I wasn't for sure. I thought that I wasn't going to be able to load everything, so I had to order another one. When I received the second one, it was so nice because they had bars so I could hang my clothes. I could just take them out of my closet and just hang them across the bars inside. So when it was delivered several months later, I was just able to take them out and put them right into my closet at my new residence. It was very convenient for me.
Then, when you call them, they give you a time frame for when they may be coming out or when they're expected to arrive at your place. When they're 30 minutes away or to an hour, they'll let you know, and the driver will call you personally to let you know they'll be arriving, which is nice. You never have to be concerned about waiting around. They’re very prompt.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Located in NH. The sales person sold us on meeting every one of our timelines. We then scheduled our entire cross-state move based on that information. 2 days before the pick up the POD to move it to our new home they changed the delivery date 6 DAYS LATER! We spoke to managers and they just don't care. We moved cross country using U-boxes and had zero issues.

I had a large screen television that was just purchased December 2025, a very expensive guitar, and an air fryer that were all damaged beyond repair. There was so much more bubble wrap around the guitar and television than you would find opening a new one. They were securely braced as were all items in the shipping container because they said to expect moving and shifting. This shipping container was so damaged when we got it back that there was a puncture in the wall they attempted to cover and the door was off the track and only the lock holding in it place. It took several people working together to get the door open.
We filed a claim for the damaged items and they declined it. Movers beware of using this service. We sent the photographs of damaged items and the damaged moving container and it was sill denied after paying for their insurance on the contents. The shipping container was either dropped or severely hit by something to cause those damages to the container. This was not shifting in transit. I'm waiting to see if they post this review as I intention followed all guidelines writing it and I'm the individual who rented and paid for these services..

PODS charges MORE than the initial drop off and a month's storage for redelivery, which was all local. No crossing state lines. The online quote I got was $450. The final bill, which included a $550 redelivery charge, was over $1,000. Not to mention that the Zilla's drive crashed into my truck when they came to pick it up after I loaded it. They are fixing it, but I have the hassle to deal with on top of this billing debacle. The redelivery fee being MORE than the price to drop off and pickup is ridiculous. Especially since this was a local move. Don't use pods. Hire movers. At least they provide the muscle, shipping, and delivery. PODS is a scam.

I was very pleased with PODS up to almost to the end of my experience. The container delivery and pack service at our former home in California was flawless and perfectly coordinated. Our property was in storage in Austin TX for over a year while we got acquainted with the city and neighboring towns and finally decided where to have a new home built. The condition of our items (which was very good) attests the care the containers were provided. The coordination for delivery to our new home and the communication with the drivers for delivery and pick up was also excellent.
It all went sideways when I had questions regarding what I consider were duplicate charges as nobody responded to me at all even though I sent requests to several individuals I worked with through the process. It's really baffling to me that the great work of many of your employees during a long time gets marred because of lack of customer care at the very end of the process.

PODs was the perfect option for us since we were redoing our main level flooring and didn't want to have to move our furniture offsite to a storage unit. The delivery and pickup process was easy and the container was clean. Our only gripe is that we rented the POD for 29 days but were charged for more than one month (they prorated the second month). The reason being was because it was February. Had we rented it during any other month, we would have been charged for one month.

From start in San Bernardino Ca with Phone service representatives I felt well taken care of. I had both consistent and considerate POD drivers each time. Especially with my Health issues. Then at delivery location in New home in Apex NC when last POD wouldn't open, the office sent a POD driver that took 2 hrs of persistent work 2 finally get it opened. Every time I chose to call. Instead of using app, every person I talked to was polite and answered every question I needed answered. I have referred PODs to a friend already. Great job to the whole team!

Dealt with PODS from February-March. Had no complaints during drop offs, pick ups until our very last pick up. Was given my 3 hour window time, never showed, called c/s, was given another time, never showed, had to call again. I was told, "You are on the pick up for today. You know if there's traffic, a delay or a truck breaks down it will delay a pick up." That's fine however call, text or email the customer letting them know. You plan your day around this pick up and yes I know on an empty pod you don't have to be here, but communication is crucial. Customers pay a hefty sum of money and should be notified.

From the onset, this was the worst company that I have ever dealt with. The guy I first contacted messed up my address on the order form. I had to call back and have it corrected. I requested an afternoon delivery for Friday, April 24, 2026, after 2:00 pm. The POD was delivered before 2:00 pm. I further requested that the POD be picked up on Saturday, April 25, 2006, in the afternoon. I was told there would be an additional $79.00 per request. I said, "Okay to the additional charges.
This evening, I received a text saying they will be here between 8:45 am and 11:45 am to pick up the POD. I called the company, all I got was the run-around, and the customer service representative could not even speak English, attempting to read the contact to me. A contact I did not agree to, but one that PODS Moving & Storage put together without my consent after I agreed to pay the extra fees for services I requested.
I finally told the last representative off and requested to speak to a supervisor. Needless to say, I really did not get anywhere with her either. I ended up agreeing to have them pick up the POD on April 28, 2006, so I could have the movers, whom I had already paid for, here at 9:00 am on Saturday to move my household items. I do not recommend this company. The service was horrible, and the customer service is distasteful to say the least. Save yourself a hassle and go with another POD company.

I needed to ship items I inherited over 1300 miles and was not interested in renting a truck and having to drive 2 days to get there (I'm older, my back would not appreciate it). Add in the worry about having the truck broken into, or worse, breaking down on the side of the highway, and using PODS became a very easy choice. Yes, it cost more, but the customer service was great, and everything happened on schedule with lots of communication.
Another added bonus, a POD sits flat on the ground with only a small lip to get over, a moving truck, even with a ramp, requires way more effort to get things into and out of, and the truck rocks as you move heavy things around in it, a POD does not. I did not consider this at all when reserving the POD, but honestly, it made a huge difference. PODS also raises and lowers the POD without tipping it when picking it up and delivering it, so nothing was disturbed inside. Add in all the tie-downs, and your mind should be at ease. I would definitely use them again.

We used PODS for a long-distance move when my son moved from KY to RI. I was very happy with each of the PODS associates I spoke to. The communication was amazing and the service was top-notch. I called for pickup of a rented storage pod at the end of one month, February 2026, you picked it up on the 5th of March 2026, yet charged for an entire month. When asked for refund, I was denied. We rented a PODS unit while remodeling our house. It was a "no-hassle" experience. Easy to sign up, rent and return. The unit we had was clean and structurally sound. The only problem we had was that the latch for locking did not work.

All went very well. I will use POD again. Move from Miami to Texas, all the guys was very professional and the agent on the phone representative from the beginning to the end, I have no complaints. I had PODS drop a pod off at my old house and we filled it, and then they brought it to a new house and we unloaded it and they picked it up. The booking process was really easy. I just inputted a few little pieces of information and they would text me updates. If I needed to make any changes, they would make those changes. There was a little discrepancy about the pickup. The pickup of the empty pod changed several times over several days, which was a little confusing, but it wasn't any part of the process that really mattered. It was all a very smooth process.
The drop-off went really good. I really enjoyed the driver that did the drop-off and I think he also did the pickup to go to the new house as well. He knew how to maneuver it really well, and before he put it on the driveway, we discussed, "Okay, it's gonna go over this far and this is about how big it is." Sure enough, he was able to get it within six inches of where we decided. So, I was happy with that. I liked PODS. I would do it again. I'd share to others how easy they are to book and how they are dependable. They communicate and they do what they say they're going to do. Working with them did save me money. Instead of having movers come do it for me, I was able to do it myself and that was worth it. I like the price.
The pod was great. There were a few little tiny scratches on the outside, but it was not to where I was worried about the integrity of the pod. The walls were good. We were able to pad things that were close up to the walls. This stuff arrived in the same position that it left. They picked it up. It was nice and level. And even with a few bumps on the road, all my things got here really great.

The pod was delivered to my home, and I moved to a new location. So, PODS dropped it off, picked it up at the new location, and then picked it up from the new location. Everything was easy, except there was one piece that I found difficult, where they sent me an email for a 10% off the quote and the area to enter the code for the discount was very hard for me to locate. I went through it three different times to try to figure out where to enter it. Everything else was smooth about it.
I had interactions with a few different people and they were all positive. They were all nice. The initial guy that dropped off the pod at the very beginning was really, really nice and informative. He was also the same guy that picked it up from the second location. That interaction was not quite as friendly as the other one. He wasn't rude by any means, but I could tell it had been a long day. I was probably the last pickup at the end of his shift of a long day of working. So, he was a little bit quieter than normal.
The final price was different from the quote that they gave me because they didn't apply the 10% discount when they charged my card. I just noticed it a couple days of ago. It looked like they must have gone through their records, and they realized that they had overcharged me, and they gave me a refund without any type of notification. But the difference that they had overcharged in the beginning was refunded to me. So, that made me happy. They're doing their part.

I was doing my garage floors, so I had to move all my stuff out of my garage for a couple of days so they could come do the polymer floors on it. I went with Pods, and working with Pods was convenient and quick. They did a great job. They messed up part of the delivery, though ‘cause they didn't have the pod facing the right way, but it was okay in my place, because it was just in the driveway. It didn't matter which side I went into it. But that was fine. The driver was amazing. The guy who came out there was awesome. The pods work perfectly. I had to clean it when I got it, and I cleaned it before he picked it up. And it was the perfect size. I got a bigger size than what I ordered, ‘cause I ordered the 12-foot and I'm glad they sent me the 16-foot, because I needed it.

When I called PODS to get a quote and set up service, the agent did an excellent job. He explained everything in great detail from price to dates and times. He answered all of my questions and made sure that I understood everything. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The entire process took place exactly as he outlined. All of the drivers were very friendly and did the drop offs and pick ups perfectly. This was my first time using PODS and I was amazed at how easy it was. The price was very reasonable too. If you don’t mind packing and loading your personal property, I recommend PODS.

The only thing that went right was the person who dropped off the POD. They overcharged me, their customer service is not good; long wait times, people promise they will fix it because they see the overcharge but don't. I would not recommend this company. I am easy to work with but I don't appreciate the overcharging and failure to follow up on promised.

I liked the good price and the customer service of Pods. I called, and the customer service was very helpful. She had an answer to every question I had. It made me feel really comfortable in the whole process.
We had several different drivers who did the drop-off and took the pickup at one location and drop-off, and all of them were great. They seemed very knowledgeable and they seemed very comfortable with what they were doing. I wasn't worried at all when they picked up our stuff. They were always on time. They always called beforehand. All four different people. They were all consistently good.
Also, I like the online. I had an account, and I could see all the dates and everything where we were in the process. Then it also allowed me to change the date, which we did. We actually had it dropped off a day early, and I did that two days beforehand. It was just such a smooth process. No hiccups at all. We were lucky.

We heard positive stories about PODS from people we know and they have good reviews, which was why we decided to use them. The app seems to work well and is fairly intuitive to navigate. It has everything on there that you need and is easy to use. I booked a 16-foot container online and the drivers were all very knowledgeable, capable and friendly. It went well all the way around. We had a good experience and I would recommend PODS. We had a cross-country move that needed to be done and we were completely satisfied with their service, the product and their support.

Used Pods to move from OR state to NC state - so literally west coast to east coast. All drivers were attentive and always called ahead to notify of pick up and delivery of pods at both origin and destination. No damages to dishes, desktops, kayaks, couches, etc.. ZERO DAMAGES AND ZERO LOSSES - so, would I recommend?? Oh ABSOLUTELY, 1000%!!! I trust them for future moves and even down to customer support on the phone, everything was so easy, it really eliminated any added stress from our relocation going west to east. PODS was very efficient. I've used them twice now, once to move to Hawaii and once to move a jacuzzi to my daughter in Oklahoma. I sent it to her in a pod and that worked well. PODS has a good recommendation from me. I was very happy with them and the people I dealt with. I wish they took vehicles because I had a Ford 250 diesel truck that I wanted to take to Hawaii. The first pod I got was big, and I loaded it up, and this time, I got the smallest. Somebody recommended PODS to me and I was skeptical. When I used them the first time, it was such an easy move and I packed everything myself so I had a little bit of breakage, but not much. So, I was glad. The other thing I like about PODS is the way you lock it up and you have the key and nobody else does. So it was very secure. I had a very positive experience both times I used the pod.

We used PODS when selling our home and buying a new one that required a full renovation before move-in. We were able to fit most of our three-bedroom house into their largest container and overall, the process was easy. Scheduling drop-offs and pick-ups was straightforward and convenient. Most of the drivers were great—friendly, courteous and on time. That said, there was one exception. One driver called and got upset about a rolling trash can the city had left in front of our driveway after pickup. He insisted he wasn’t authorized to move it and said he couldn’t pick up the POD. I actually left our closing to go move the can… only to find the POD already gone when I arrived. So clearly, it got handled—but the interaction itself wasn’t great.
On a more positive note, the driver who picked up our POD at the end (Scott P) was fantastic—easily the highlight of the experience. Super upbeat, professional and even knocked out about 50 pushups in our driveway after loading it up. Hard to beat that kind of energy. My only other feedback is that the pricing could have been clearer—specifically around billing cycles and timing. I likely would have made different decisions had I known I’d be charged for an additional month based on the return date. Overall, a good experience with a few bumps along the way.

This is an unfortunate review. I used PODS 2 times and was great, but once I moved to another state- it was a nightmare- Many hands, many different information and the payment which was a big amount was taken out without my knowledge- When is time to pay your mileage payment- PODS was supposed to give me 24 to 48 to look at the statement and make sure the amount that we spoke about was correct- unfortunate it was taken without my consent in the middle of me buying a home- They took money out that I was going to use for down payment- I had to explain and my closing was delay 2 days because of PODS taken out the amount without my concern- I had 8 different customer service- with different prices- the reason I went with PODS was because I did not have a problem with them- but I will not ever use PODS because when I called and explain to the last billing customer person - she stated- well- it comes from your card automatically-
I agree only on the monthly payments- that is what I understood - the rental- but the mileage was a different story- 5 of the customer service assure me that they will not charge me until they send me the bill and I had 24 to 48 hours- That did not happened. To many hands on the same POD will become a bit misunderstanding- Why I went with PODS- is because the FIRSST customer service gave me a good price after I TOLD HER how many miles- All what the 1 and the 2 and the 3 and 4 and on and on- different prices- I had 2 PODS- and they made a big mess out of my amount- after they took the large amount- I called them and told them not to take anymore and I will continue paying, since in they said- they have payment plans- not with me they did not- Again- I dealt with PODS 2 times before this out of state, and it was awesome, very convenient- but this time it was not- and the last person I spoke to about all of this- did not care at all-
All she said, when will be the next payment- I overpaid- and I am so disappointed. I pray no one goes thru the nightmare I went thru- With the move, traveling, and dealing with PODS was a stressful time that left me tired mentally and emotionally- I couldn't enjoy my new home because PODS was still billing me- It took a month after I moved in- that I started taking a deep breath and trying to understand what this company put me through- It was a mess- and a nightmare-

PODS was in the area where we needed it, and it was convenient. I booked one of the larger sizes online and the price was reasonable. There was an error in the beginning, though. They thought it was a residence, but it was a business. The initial drop-off time was at 8:00 at night and our business was closed, but once it was resolved, the issue was easy to fix. The pickup and delivery went very smoothly. The customer service was great and everything worked out the way we needed it to. I would recommend PODS.

I called to cancel my reservation and was provided a discount to keep it. I asked if there would be any additional charges at the end of our call and was told no. Additional charges were added to my credit card so I called PODS to dispute. I received an automatic response via email referring back to my original contract. I was also told both pods would be delivered in my driveway because I had the clearance to do so. My second pod was delivered in the street and was told by the delivery driver it was common for the sales people to tell you they will fit to finish the sale. I feel scammed for multiple reasons due to the dishonesty of the sales people and lack of support from the company. I would not recommend this company.

I needed a container for a month and PODS was great. I chose them mainly because of name recognition. I got a 16-foot container and booked the service online and then over the phone. It was a little small for one part of my needs. But that's okay. It worked out great. It was an interesting process to get the pod into my driveway. He asked where I wanted it and said he would put it there. And he put it exactly where I wanted it. I asked the guy who picked it up if he needed me for anything. He said no and before I knew it, he was gone. Both drivers were excellent. The customer service guy I talked to when I had to extend the amount of time that I wanted to keep the pod was very good. He made suggestions that would help me so I wouldn't have to pay for an additional month, and it worked out perfectly.

We were going to use the pods to move from one location to another, but we instead used them for storage during the staging of our rental property. Setting up with PODS over the phone was easier than doing it online. As a first-time user, it was a little difficult to understand how it would meet my needs because it was evolving as I went. Once you know what you’re looking for, it’s laid out well, but from the suite of options, it could have been easier to understand what’s included. I’m a Costco member so understanding what the additional 20% off may be applied to would have been easier for me as someone who hasn't used it before.
The communication was good during the drop-off. The rep from PODS gave me a heads up. But when it was time to return the pod, they didn't let us know and the window changed rapidly. I was staying somewhere else, and I was scrambling to get there. It was a little bit on the grass, and my husband had to sign for it. The website had videos, but I wish there were more information for situations like having a limited driveway. I have an older Florida-style home, and the driveway is a little shorter and narrower. It would have helped to know ahead of time that we needed someone there to sign off so they could park on the grass. It could have been a little more personalized in that regard. But once the person arrived, he was great. I'm satisfied with what we needed the pods for.

Had my PODS delivery delayed by 2 days because of a heavy snowstorm on the weekend before. However the driver was able to drop the box with the help of a shovel to clear a path for the wheels on the Podzilla. The unit was perfect for my needs. I would use again if the need arises.

I was moving from a 9,000 square foot house to a 2,800 square foot house and PODS is known, and I knew about them so I called them up. I had three pods that were moved to the new house and then, there were two pods that ended up going to the storage unit. The three drivers came to the house, picked up the pods and moved them to the new house. They came back and forth and all of them were helpful. When I had to meet them at the storage unit, they quickly grabbed the pod and took it away, or quickly dropped it off, so I didn't have to wait for them too long. It was pleasant, and they were polite but also very professional in the sense that they were on a timeline. The price was reasonable and overall, the experience was excellent.

Everything was smooth from the delivery of two 16-foot containers for 4 months to the pick-up from our house when we were done. The crew that set the PODS and picked them up were very courteous and respectful of the placement and pickup of the PODS. Would definitely use PODS again.

Was very impressed with the service. Ordered a pod and it came when I wanted it. The driver was very helpful and courteous. He was very careful on where he put the pod and made sure it was in a safe position.. They picked it up when I was ready. Delivered the pod to my new home on the day we agreed upon. I opened while the driver was there. Everything was just the way we loaded it. They came to take the pod away on the day we agreed upon.. I would highly recommend them.

Pods delivered on time, driver explained how to open pod and secure with lock, He positioned the pod as directed. Upon getting pod packed, I scheduled a pick up. The driver was on time and examined the locks, put a seal on the door and took the pod. Delivery at the new location was done on time as scheduled and the pod was positioned as requested. After the pod was empty we scheduled a pick up. Complications developed as the furniture van was two days late and was being unloaded when the Pods driver arrived to pick up the pod. He was able to work around the furniture van and got the pod loaded and removed with minimal delay. Great service and all drivers were friendly and courteous.

The only issue I had was when I had to call in and speak to someone. Please get people whose first language is English. I could not understand the thick foreign accents. I ended up having to hang up. I even asked if there was someone without an accent that could speak to me. They put someone on who was even worse. I am a human being and should not be forced to use the computer online chat.

Overall good experience. Initial delivery was excellent. Were a day late picking up filled pod. Guy delivering to new home did some damage to landscaping and had a poor attitude. Guy who picked up empty pod was fantastic. All my stuff was intact, nothing broken.

It was a very satisfying experience. Everyone I dealt with from the manager at the location to the folks dropping and picking off the items were all great to work. There was a huge storm coming and they even worked to try and get the final pick up done before that which was also based on hired movers unloading it so again worked with our timing very well and were a very understanding and accommodating based on the situation situations.

Very seamless and smooth process. Good deal if you have to store your belongings. One item was water damaged which was strange but it was just the jewelry armoire that was damaged. On time for each pick up and drop off. Professional drivers too!

Very pleased with the pod. Came in very handy while I remodeled my house inside and outside for 2 months. I had gotten the largest container and was able to get at least 3 rooms into it for me to store. Again thank you for coming and dropping it off and picking it up.

The movers were 2 hours late because they went to the wrong address (they were in the wrong state). By the time they got to us we had most of the move done. We paid for two hours of service and they were done in 40 minutes or less.
We're certainly disappointed to see this, Joe. PODS is not directly affiliated with any movers/labor providers that you contract to load/unload your container. We recommend reaching out to them directly for assistance.

PODS was the perfect choice for my move. We used (2) 16 ft pods for our move. We packed everything the very best we could. Pods picked up our 1st pod and stored it while we packed the 2nd. PODS was very timely in the pickup and delivery. We moved from California to Texas. When we arrived at our new home, PODS delivered each pod as requested. Everything inside the pod was just as we packed it. Nothing was broken or damaged. What a great service PODS is. The price for everything was better than any other service we looked into. I talked to a rep on the phone and it was very easy to get the pod set up. She just needed to know where I was going and how long I needed the pod for. The drivers provided very good customer service and were on time. They dropped the pod off and picked it up with no problem. It was excellent. PODS was very reliable and I’ve told some people that I would recommend it.

I booked the pod online and the gentleman who delivered it was very friendly and respectful of where and how I wanted it. It was a nice and clean unit. When I scheduled it for pickup, I let PODS know that I wasn’t going to be there but I made sure it was ready. Their people texted me and said they were on their way for pick-up. They texted me too that they had picked it up. I just had a friend ask me if I knew where to get storage and I sent her to PODS. It was easy dealing with them and we didn’t have to go back and forth with anything. I told them what I needed and they delivered it. Everything was quite simple. I had looked into storage units, and PODS’ price was very comparable to renting a unit that was off my property. So, it was a brilliant deduction. I could keep it right on my property.

We were doing home renovations and we needed a place to put things while all that was happening. We talked about getting a storage unit and then we realized that getting a pod would be a whole lot easier because it was right there on site. We could just put it in our side yard and if we needed it, we could get to it. We booked with PODS online and asked for a 12-foot container but they didn’t have any, so we wound up with a 16-footer. The driver was great. He knew what he was doing and everything went fine. We just paid for it every month until we were ready to move everything back in, and then we did the retrieval online.

Updated on 04/26/2026: ****DO NOT RECOMMEND**** Well here I am again, still with no resolution because being ignored is what they do best when they are wrong. I learned that I had to record every conversation, screenshot everything and email that stuff to another email to ensure I'm able to have the chance to look back as well as they claim they do. I've already caught them lying and proved it with everything I have. I've sent numerous emails and I'm still being ignored. The "social media" team comes on here saying to email them and they will help. Ha. I have those emails as well, where I'm being ignored. No one actually wants to help, they just want your money. They can never prove correctly or give an invoice of such charges.
I was never explained about long distance moves because no one ever changed my move from local to long distance. It was only changed when I went to book my move. What a joke that has been. Nothing but me emailing proving I'm not wrong, so they ignore me and just continue to try to charge me. They also do not allow you to remove your credit card from their site. They are extremely shady. The amount of times they tried to charge my card and all different amounts with no invoice or any explanation. They still can't give me an explanation as to what the charges were for. They were going to cancel my order over $22.63!! They had given me a random credit but it didn't cover what they were charging even though I didn't owe it, hence the credit they put on my account! No one can explain that. Now I'm being charged more.
I really hope you do your homework before hiring this company. The insurance is crooked too! you can't talk to anyone at the warehouse where your stuff is. I was told by a supervisor that they wouldn't even "entertain me". Seriously? How do you talk to a customer like that as a "supervisor"?? I can not WAIT to be done with these people. They really need to do better. Also their compassion and empathy oh right no one has it because it's only about money. My husband was killed tragically and left me and our 9 month old. Having to sell our home and put our home into storage was so very upsetting on top Of trying to deal with what had just happened. They ignored me and just told me I owe money! Very, very rude and hurtful.
Updated on 04/19/2026: I have 3 disputes going on with this company.
1. They refused to fix the promo code and came up with their own solution and closed the case without confirming with me. They continued to ignore me until I got a supervisor from FL to have it reopen and even then the woman opened and closed it without even waiting for a response.
2. There is another dispute open about a credit I have on my account. It was only to be used for delivery. The credit department decided to use my credit towards a payment that no one can tell me what it is for. I don’t understand how no one can know what these charges are for! I’ve tried calling that department and someone picks up but doesn’t speak, you just hear background noise. I have it recorded. So should PODS.
3. Another dispute in regards to an employee telling me that I wouldn’t have to pay for the month of service because I’m taking my belongings out within the grace period. I have the call recorded as well I know PODS does and I have to wait 3-5 business days. Meanwhile, I do not have 3-5 business days to wait since I had to schedule my delivery 8 days in advance because it’s going to take 8 days to go an hour and 20 min! No one could tell me why that was the case either. I was never told it would take that long to deliver. They don’t tell you anything and they just come up with stuff as they go. I have the recording. I know what she said and now I have to wait for them and they are saying they are going to cancel my delivery due to their lack of communication. I shouldn’t have to have my stuff held hostage because they messed up! Again idk why it takes 8 days to deliver this stuff. It’s 76 miles!!!! Only 26 miles over the 50 mile “long distance” move. I should be able to get my stuff in a day!! I could literally travel to Florida and back like 3 or 4 times! This is crazy. They are holding my entire house worth of stuff hostage. They also didn’t put The right amount of insurance on it! And denied me to get more!!
Since all of this, the repeatedly tried to charge my card a few different amounts. 3x for $583.88, another for $285.16, and another for $22.63. No one can actually tell me what’s going on. I know I have a credit of $903.00 and that somehow dwindled to $203.71. Where did the rest go? They can’t even tell me where it went or why they charged me those different amounts. They were told any credit goes towards the move out of the warehouse. They chose to use it for something else that’s unexplainable. So, I have the invoices saved, conversations saved and phone calls recorded. All going to my lawyer because they canceled the delivery of 2/3 pods. They told me the wouldn’t do that and now I have to wait while they hold my stuff hostage.
Original Review: They are like dealerships, once they get you to buy it and it’s out of your hands they are done being helpful and nice. They don’t give you all the info before purchasing. It’s very disheartening that they would treat people the way that they do. Especially in this economy. I didn’t have a chance but to put my entire house into storage when my husband was killed at only 44yrs old leaving behind myself and our 9 month old daughter. I needed the money until we could get a lawsuit going for what happened. So, they know all of this and still refuse to help.

My experience with Pods was fine. We packed it up. They showed up on time to take it away from a place in Arizona, brought it to Michigan, showed up when they said they would, and took it away the next day. Everything was fine on the inside, no damage or anything. I'd recommend Pods to a friend. They were all very professional, very polite and accommodating.

We used Pods for a renovation, for the storage of our furniture. We started using it in October, and then they picked it up last month. We got the largest one and the process was very simple. When our renovation started, we actually didn't know it was going to start as soon as it did. So, we were in a panic mode about what we needed to do, because we were getting flooring throughout the house. When I called them, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a place that could give me a pod in three days. But they got it for me pretty quickly.
Before they came, they gave us a lot of instructions on making sure we had a spot, explaining where it was. And that piece helped us to know when they pulled in, we would be ready for them. They just pulled in and backed into the spot where we wanted it. They set it down. They were very polite to my husband, nice, approachable, too, and they left. The pick-up was the same thing. We just made sure everything was ready. The pod was cleaned out. They came, and the guy came here when they said they were going to be here. My husband had a great experience with both the delivery and pick-up.

This was my second time using PODS. After using them the first time and having it be such a positive experience, there was no other choice this time. My house went on the market last April and it just sold. So, I loaded two pods, and they went into storage. I'm currently in California, heading for Oregon. They are currently waiting for me in Washington State. The reps that I talked to were always wonderful. When the house was not selling, we had to keep extending the time for the last two pods to come. I originally ordered one of the 16-foot pods and the 8-foot pod. When the 8-foot pod came, my daughter and I looked at each other and said, “Yeah. That's not gonna be big enough.” So, I have to give a shoutout to the delivery guy. His name is Kevin, in Lubbock, Texas. He is wonderful. He is just the nicest man and incredibly skillful at getting those pods where they need to be. He came, picked up the 8-foot, and gave me a 16-foot.
I love the PODZILLA. That's the big thing that lifts them. Kevin kept me notified because we were very close. He picked them up on the 30th, and the house closed on the 31st. He kept me in the loop, so I wasn't worried. It was later than he originally said he was gonna be there. He was just an amazing man. He was really helpful. He was very kind and understanding. He’s really a credit to PODS.

My home was flooded, and it would have cost me $13,000 to have it moved. I went with Pods and everything was packed up and moved out of my home, plus a $2,000 a month storage fee. And with my home completely flooded, I had to move out. This was something that was caused by a creek. This is not something that was caused by my home. And I am just ecstatic to have had Pods help me out. All of their drivers, everybody that I have spoken with at PODS, really made this very easy for me. I would recommend PODS to anybody.

I would recommend PODS to other people. One of my close friends used them a couple of months previous. I needed the pod itself to move from one state to another. I booked it online, but a representative called me after. Both of the drivers are great. I didn't meet the second guy because I wasn't there, but he called me prior to and let me know that he would be there.

We needed somewhere to store our furniture that we were moving. We have a two-story house, so we were trying to empty the top half of the house until we could get movers to move the very heavy furniture out. We went with PODS and it was a great experience, because we could get what we needed to do done right away, and the container was in our driveway for a couple of days. Then, when we were ready to move all of our furniture, we had the container go first, and then empty that out, and then we had the bigger things come in later. It was very helpful that way. We could get some painters in to paint. They were able to do a lot of work before we even moved. It was a time saver.
The team at Pods was very good. I had to ask one person a question about changing the time of the pickup. They were able to answer my question and tell me what to do. There was a lot of communication from PODS. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

I had a great experience with setting up my move cross-country move over the phone. I called PODS' customer service and they were on point with giving me the information. I set it up and had to change it, and it was all good. They were very helpful and informative. Also, PODS was on time with the pick up and drop off in Chicago. My pod was clean, we didn't have any issues with opening or closing, and PODS gave me my personal lock which was great. PODS also referred me to Mr. Shipper for my car to be shipped back. I had a great experience with both.

When I used PODS the first time to move out of state, I didn't have to do anything. They picked up both of the pods, and I just assumed they would automatically transport them to where I was going and then I would contact them to deliver them to my new home. Bu they did not do that. I kept looking, and they were still sitting in Michigan. So, finally, I did a chat, "Do I need to do anything to get these pods moving?" Then they connected me with a person and said, "Okay. I can schedule that for you." So, apparently, I needed to reach out to have them to start moving. So, I ended up waiting for 10 days. When the pod was delivered, 99% of my things were okay. A couple things ended up getting damaged because of shifting. Nothing that was significant that I was concerned about got damaged.

We ordered our pod on Mar 10, 2026. It arrived on Mar 12. However, the person who delivered it did not level it so the pin that drops down into the lock won't line up. We cannot use it as it is. No one at customer service answers the phone, nor returns by email. Time is running out when we need to have all of our belongings out of the house and we are stuck with a useless box.

I got a 16-foot pod to move from Sydney, Florida to San Antonio, Texas, and I liked PODS for their price and delivery. I booked online and the rep gave me what I needed to know. I got the big pod but I should have gotten a bigger one. I ended up renting a 24-foot U-Haul for the rest of the stuff. I miscalculated a little bit and I had to drag my car on a trailer behind the U-Haul. The PODs driver knew exactly what he was doing. He put the pod exactly where it was supposed to be and made it easy for us to load. I hired a couple of loaders to do it, and they did a nice job. Overall, everything went very well.
The pod was picked up on time and it was nice that I knew exactly when it was going to come to the house in San Antonio, so I was able to book some helpers to help unload when the pod was delivered. And they delivered it right on time too. When it got here, we couldn’t open the door because the pod had shifted. I talked to PODS and the rep said he was gonna send a guy, but not until Friday. My HOA was not too happy about having pods in the driveway for too long. But we were able to unload one box. Another box fell down and we unloaded it through the small opening that was about 12 inches that we had. Then, the skinny guy who came here to help me unload squeaked himself in, moved stuff around, and we were able to open the door. PODS was responsive, but we got creative, so I called to tell them we were all set. I would want the cost to be cheaper, but for its value for what it is, it’s good. It was a very good experience, and if I live long enough and move again, I would use PODS.

Do your due diligence because on the surface its looks and sounds very convenient. But here is my experience. We are relocating from Virginia to Alabama. We rented two pods - a 16ft and 8ft and storage in VA $550 per month!!! Move them to AL (750 miles). Quoted $6300. Yes these are real quotes. March 2026. BE CAUTIOUS!!! And finally try to speak to a representative IMPOSSIBLE.
