I needed a little storage prior to the move and then the move was to complete it and there was storage after that. I went online and got a couple of numbers but I like to talk to people because sometimes their answer will generate another question and I like the conversation. I wound up calling and talking to PODS several times in getting everything arranged. I needed two pods total, so after the first one was loaded up, I had that in storage, and then as I worked to get my property ready and emptied out, I ordered the second pod. So in calling and talking to someone I was able to make sure they understood what I needed and they would tell me what my options were. And so it worked out better that way. PODS gave me the flexibility of the pods staying in my driveway and so I’m able to load it up and then have them pick it up and then store it for me. Then when I get ready for it to be delivered, I call them up and they deliver it.

Our experience with PODS went well, was very convenient, and we didn't have any problem. It was a little pricey but overall a very good experience. Instead of renting a moving truck, we got their services for moving and storage since we're moving to a far location and we needed to store our stuff temporarily. I booked them over the phone, got the biggest container that is the 16-foot, and my interactions with their reps were fair. I talked to a couple of different people and they were very helpful. The drivers who came to pick up the container called, came on time, did what they said, and I didn't have any problems. Then we were concerned because we didn't think the driver would be able to put the container on the side that we needed but then he figured out a way to do that so that was nice. Everything went smoothly, which rarely happens, so it's great. I had to call CS a few times with questions but they resolved everything over the phone.

I was needing storage and I saw PODS around in the neighborhood and it looked like the right size. I got a 7-foot pod and the driver did a good job. He came when he said he would deliver and pick it up. Also, I felt that my belongings were safe and it worked fine. It was a very good experience.

PODS is an easy and turnkey service. It's good to use when people are going to do something but they don't know how long they're going to use the storage. We have used them before and I got them again to store my mother's stuff since we had to move her from her house into an assisted living. The driver was a nice guy. He showed up on time both when he delivered the container and picked it up. I wasn't there when he picked it up, but when he delivered it he called and told me he was on his way and he put the container where we wanted it.

I booked pod container in Rochester NY. Everything went smoothly from scheduling, to drop off at my home to pick up and storage of the container in Greece NY. The container was due to be delivered to Virginia in a few months. When it came time for delivery in Virginia, I scheduled it out so that I could have assistance with moving heavy items, a vehicle and have the time off of work to do so. The night before delivery (4:45 pm to be exact) I received a call stating that the container would be arriving a day later. (not due to weather) After multiple calls, the effort to change things was fruitless. I placed 4 separate calls. Although everyone was polite, absolutely no one was able to give me a status as to where the truck was en route or when it may show up. I lost my reserved truck, my help and to add insult to injury, PODS charged my credit card the full move amount PLUS the storage fee for NY BEFORE I was in receipt of my items.

We've used PODS before and they were very efficient and their pricing was right too. We used them again for storage and my husband booked over the phone. We got the largest, which is the 16-foot, that would sit on my driveway. We could have gotten away with a little smaller one but we didn't know that at the time. The driver was on time and good. It was amazing to watch him put the container down. The PODS people were very polite and we had no difficulties whatsoever. Everything happened just like it was supposed to.

PODS was very good and I would recommend them. I needed a storage while we were having a house built. I went online and I heard about the discount that PODS had. I called them and booked with a gentleman. However, he wasn't able to answer why I was not able to get the discount because it said on the website that if I were over three months that I could get the discount but I it was never offered to me. They said it was in Arizona, but I found it odd because the website was the nationwide one. Also, the accounting was confusing and I had to phone a couple of times to ask them about it. But the lady that helped me out was good.

The reason this website exists is so people like me can share the truth with people who read this. There has been no service company as disastrous as PODS in over 20 years of personal and professional contracting of vendors for logistics, storage and transport. We had issues with every step of their "simple" process... Incorrect equipment to pick-up the pod (snow in the northeast was a problem); updated information on our pod (no replies or info available as promised); zero customer service skills (rep called to help us and had not even seen our contract); escalation to executive management (COO is George - useless); non-existent compensation or the courtesy of call backs (even the Presidents office ignores our repeated calls for help). The bottom line is that entrusting any personal or professional belongings to this company is a huge mistake.

I was moving long distance and I got PODS because of the price and the convenience of the pod being shipped and not having to drive the truck. I got an online quote and then I finished up on the phone. The lady I spoke to was very polite, informative, and the booking process was fairly easy. I met with two of the drivers and they were polite, chatty, and nice. I got the 16-foot container and it was perfect. It arrived when they all said it would. We were able to fit everything in it. It seems sturdy, nothing broke. We also didn't have any problems dropping it off or lifting it up either time. PODS is an excellent company. A huge load off and no hassles.

I wanted the time to be able to pack and get things in the container myself so I chose PODS. I booked online and found their website easy to navigate. The man who dropped off my pod was wonderful. Everything went as expected. I always have recommended it.

I used a moving company in the past moving from California to Vegas and it was very pricey so I looked into PODS. The reps got me all the information I needed and everything was accounted for when the pods arrived. However, my things had somehow shifted towards the door during transport and I had a difficult time getting the doors open. Nothing broke and I am sure the company would have probably helped me had I opened the pods while they were there but I wasn't ready until after they left. Still, that would not stop me from recommending PODS. I was very happy with the service and the ability to store things until I had a home. That's something you can't do with a moving company. With PODS, it's on your own schedule.

I was selling my house and I want to get rid of the clutter while we're showing it, so we ordered PODS online for six months storage. The service was perfect each time. They met me, introduced me and then I showed them where I wanted it. And they were able to put it where I needed it. The first time I put it in my backyard, they were able to accommodate that and also during the second delivery to the house. They make it so you don't have to drive your rental truck away. The pod was in a very good condition. Some of the other ones were a hard side but they had extra wrap on them. The pod that I got was partitioned into four sections. So, they would have box stuff up as I packed it. I was able to pack towards the ceiling. Easy to use and I like it very much. I'd recommend them.

PODS delivered a container and it was the 12-foot size. I loaded my belongings and I still had some that didn’t fit but it was okay because they were more delicate, so I loaded them in my truck. They took it to the storage facility and were delivered to the new address.

I had PODS deliver our pod that they were storing. I loved how flexible they were. I did everything online and then when I needed to call, they were easy to work with. It was a highly convenient process, and the price was pretty decent for what they were offering.

PODS is a recognized brand that I see around my neighborhood. I needed a pod for storage and I ordered online. A very pleasant man delivered it and we had a good conversation. He was very efficient, and knew what he was doing. It's the same guy that came to drop it off and pick it up. So, he was a familiar face when he came to get it. We got a 12-foot container. It was a good size for our needs and was very clean and white container, wood floor inside, cross-beams on the side to secure things down. They're very efficient, a cost effective way to store things if you're moving to be a temporary storage. It couldn't have been easier. I'd recommend PODS highly.

We had PODS pick up stuff from our house that we were moving from. They stored it until we got to our new house and then delivered it at the new house. Everybody we dealt with on the phone was very helpful and good. Everything went just like we thought it would and went well. We're happy.

PODS was the only company who could come and pick up my things and take them to my other property. Everything was as expected and everybody did what they should be doing. We have had the pods way longer than we thought we would because we're building an outdoor classroom. I was able to empty one but I still have two others.

I was trying to get PACK-RAT earlier but whenever I tried to call them to get information, I was always put on hold and had to wait hours to find somebody whereas PODS picked up right away. My wife and I decided to get a divorce, so I moved to Florida, and she moved to Washington, D.C. In the divorce, I got the house. I left first; she left second, so it wasn't a full house move. My wife took a couple of things but there were things that I wanted to keep. And since I'm in an apartment down here, I didn't have any place to deal with it. My daughter who lives in Boston said that she has a basement that I could use, plus she could use some of these really expensive items that we had. All I got to do was get those stuff up there, and I decided to use PODS because they’re not that expensive, as opposed to getting a bigger moving thing and all of that.

I got PODS for moving and storage service. I had a positive interaction with the rep and I got the largest size container. The container was a little bit old and leaked a little bit but it worked fine. I stored my stuff in it for about three or four months after I moved it and the roof leaked a little bit of water inside, but it didn't damage anything. Another issue was that I had some things broken because a couple of things fell. The temperature difference between Charlotte and Seattle made the plastic warp for a lot of my plastic tubs in the pod. But overall I was very happy with them. I really didn't have any issues and their customer service was phenomenal.

My daughter-in-law had used PODS before and I went with her idea, and it worked. Booking was very easy. The container was exactly what I needed, as far as size was concerned. It was in my driveway and I had it locked up so it was very secure. I've never seen how a container was loaded. It was very amazing how they took it off the truck and put it on the driveway. They came exactly when they were supposed to and it was gone when I got back from where I was at, so everything went very well.

All in all, we had a great experience with PODS.

Booking with PODS online was quick. The container I got was big enough for three rooms which I felt was the correct size. The driver was also very good.

My experience with PODS was wonderful. The customer service and the drivers were great. The pod was spotless. I've put all the stuff in it and there wasn't one thing that didn't come out just the way we put it in. The stuff was supposed to be in there for a month or two, but it was in storage for ten months. The only thing I'm still waiting on and I'm sure will show up is what they charged me for another month. I called them and they said they'd remove the charge. PODS is really good. The rep was good but there was somebody who got it messed up. It was supposed to be North Carolina but they had me scheduled for Virginia. That also made a difference in the price. We shopped around and for what we needed, PODS was convenient because we could keep our stuff in the pod instead of having to put it in a truck, take it up to a storage unit and put it in another storage unit. PODS then picked up and stored our pod for a year then delivered it. The PODS reps on the phone were great. The only bump we ever had is when they changed the billing system and we got charged early. Then also, the first rep led us to believe that the pod was gonna be able to handle stuff from our three-bedroom home but it wasn't. We ended up leaving all the beds and bookcases.

PODS had the flexibility I was looking for, so I got two of their 16-footer containers. I had two different drivers pick up my containers and it went very well. They moved in, picked up the containers and took off. They were conscientious with the yard.

PODS dropped off a pod, picked it up, drove it all the way to Arizona, dropped it off again and then picked up to take it back. I called once and somehow it got a duplicate order so we were charged twice for the drop off. But we got it all straightened out with them and the driver was very nice both times.

We stored our furniture between houses with PODS and they also moved us to our new home. Their reps were very pleasant. They told me the size that I would need and when they would arrive, and they did at that time which made it a good experience for me. We had a stone wall that we had built and the driver had trouble getting between that so he hit that a little bit and moved it, but he graciously tried to put it back. Overall, it was efficient and it went well so I’m pleased.

My Realtor recommended PODS. I got a pod delivered so that I could stage my house for sale. I filled up a small pod and had it removed. I showed the house, sold it and brought the pod back, then unload it before moving away. My experience with PODS was mostly fine. It was a little frustrating not being able to schedule the pod deliveries whenever I wanted them. I often would go online to schedule delivery. And then, wait a little while, come back to change my mind, and all the deliveries for the day that I was considering were already gone. Also, I wish that the delivery windows were narrower, rather than something like 7 AM to 10 AM. And every time I got a 7 AM to 10 AM window, I got a 7 AM delivery.

PODS were more easily accessible than other storage companies. In fact, I got a live person to talk to and she was easy to work with and explained to me the process. She gave me the quote and when it will expire. But I had to contact the finance guy at my church before I could proceed. So then I got another gentleman after that, who worked with us as far as the size of the pod that we would need. He explained the size very well, not just the dimensions. That was better for me than trying to figure out feet-wise. The size of the POD they suggested worked perfectly. The driver contacted me and he was very clear about the certain time he will be there and he was, for both drop-off and pickup. He was very courteous and nice. I've had a satisfactory experience with PODS. They have good customer service and I would recommend them to people.

I moved from Florida to Connecticut and went with PODS due to affordability and time. Their container was sturdy and clean while the drivers were courteous and didn't damage anything. They were in and out and it was very good. I'm very satisfied overall.

We had a size 16 pod that we loaded things in Massachusetts and we had it shipped near Saint Pete. We stored it there for a while then had it brought over to our house here. Everything went smooth and the drivers were excellent. PODS did a great job and everything we wanted them to do, they did.

I used PODS for a move and it ended up being for storage too because I moved out of my first house before I had anything to move to. So I loaded up two pods, they held them for me for a while then moved them when the time was right. I remember getting a call from someone wanting to know where I wanted the pods on the driveway and they were placed where they needed to be. Everything was delivered and picked up on time and my stuff arrived essentially undamaged so I couldn't ask for more. My wife who pays the bills wants me to go back, reconcile and make sure that I was charged correctly. She thought there was an extra charge or two in there and I have not had the chance to do that. But that's something I'll do and if there's an issue, I'm sure I could call people on the 800 number and they'll take care of it, PODS being an outstanding company.

We used PODS' moving services since they were the cheapest. I booked over the phone, and their representatives were good, knowledgeable, and knew what they're doing. I requested for the largest container. It was sturdy, and nothing was broken. The drivers were on time, courteous and they gave us a 40-minute heads up before they got there.

I used PODS for moving and it was very useful for me because the house I was moving into wasn't ready, and they offer storage by the month instead of by the day which was a lot easier for my situation. The driver that picked up the pod after bringing it to the house was the most amazing of the drivers. He spoke with me for instructions. The house I live in has an extra large driveway so I had to tell him to put it to the side of that driveway and he did that. He was very attentive. I stored the pod in the driveway until the house was ready and it worked out beautifully for me. It would have been nice if the container could be a bit bigger. I have a five-bedroom house so it was a lot of stuff, but the pod fit what it could fit. It was very sturdy and safe, too. My only issue was I needed the pod picked up a couple of days after they did because they didn't have any time later. But other than that, it was a wonderful way to move and I definitely recommended them.

PODS was great. A neighbor had one in their yard and I thought I'm going to try using them. I had to move everything out of my house because it was being remodeled so I called and they talked to me and set up. The price was okay so I decided to go with them instead of renting a storage locker. In that way, my stuff would stay at the house. I got the biggest pod but I could use a little bit bigger because I had more things than I thought I had. Other than that, the pod was very safe and I liked the way it locked up and I didn't feel like someone was going to break into it. It's pretty sturdy. PODS did a fantastic service. They delivered the pod and picked it up on time and the driver was really polite. Just by me using PODS, my sister rented one for four months in California. She liked it because she came out here to help me pack and they're getting ready to sell their house so they were also using it for storage.

I saw PODS everywhere in our subdivision years ago when there was a hurricane here in Florida. The name stuck so I went on their website and hired them for their moving service when I needed to bring all my stuff from Michigan to Florida. Everything was done through phone or the staff from PODS left me a voicemail to let me know what time the driver will be picking up the pod. I checked my checking account and when they took the money out, that was it.

I moved from Ohio to Florida and got PODS for their moving services. I lived in a condo before with four units so the other trailers were too big. With PODS, my stuff fits perfectly and definitely easier to get it packed and loaded. I first contacted PODS online and then I talked to a live representative. The representatives were very helpful. They answered all of my questions and I wasn’t on hold long at all. It was very easy. What really helped is I went on YouTube and I learned how to effectively pack the pod. When it first came I was scared because it looks so small. But when we started packing it, we found it easy to pack and we ended up having a little bit of room to spare. We had a lot of fragile things in it, and yet nothing broke. The driver and the one that delivered and picked up my stuff were very nice and helpful. They came within the time frame they gave me. Everything was wonderful. It was well worth the money.

When I was moving, we got a 12 by 12 container from PODS as storage for my stuff while I was in-between homes. I've used them in the past and since we had a great experience with them the first time we moved, we decided to use them again. The second time we booked with them, I did it online and I was able to estimate how much stuff I have. It then gave a projection of what would fit and I based it off of that. So the container I got was perfect.

When I was moving my house I booked two medium PODS over the phone. The website was easy to use and the customer service reps were fine. However, not getting notified until the night before as to a window of time when the unit is going to be delivered or picked up was inconvenient particularly when I'm trying to schedule other people to help load or unload. It was very not consumer-friendly. Despite that, I'll recommend PODS.

Since we had a relationship with PODS locally through my business, I went with them for a pod unit and delivery. I’m not a great technology person but booking online was an easy process. The driver who picked up the container was professional and courteous. I’d use PODS again in a minute.

I had a bad moving experience hiring movers so I wanted more control over the situation by hiring my own packers and keeping things local. Also, being able to take my time with the loading was very good. I got the PODS' site through USAA and I got a discount. I started my booking online but I realized I had to call for a long distance. Their reps were very understanding especially when I had to change the delivery and pickup a couple of times. They were very nice, patient and they accommodated me.

I went online to get PODS phone number then I called them to book a pod to be used for moving and storage. I spoke with a representative who was friendly and courteous. I got the big container and it was a good size, taking up half the driveway. The first time I saw it, I thought it was too big. But it turned out it wasn't enough. It's a dud deal. The drivers were friendly though. They accommodated me and took care of whatever I asked. I had a good relationship with them. My container was put in a storage place for a while then I notified PODS when I was ready to have it delivered and they delivered it. They gave me about an hour notice so we're in the vicinity. I was satisfied with the way everything was handled.

We ordered a pod for a few weeks for storage use. We knew PODS was good because we have always seen their commercials and ads. My coworker ordered it through a combination of online and phone contact. It was for a few weeks. The pod was 8x10 and had three panels. The driver who dropped it off and the driver who picked it up were fine. It was an interesting situation because where they delivered the pod wasn't a typical address as it didn't have an address so we had to coordinate with the driver and meet him on-site for him to leave it. Our experience was good.

I heard good things about PODS so when I needed both moving and storage services, I decided to book with them online and finished it over the phone. I got three large pods and everything was secure inside. However, they must have dropped one of the pods because a lot of stuff came out broken when I took them out of one of the pods. But everything else was perfect in the other two pods so I let it go. Everything else was superior. Every single person, whether that was the call in or the people that were delivering or picking up, were extremely nice. They did what I thought they would do and I got treated really well. It's a good company so going with them was a good decision for me.

Primarily for the pricing, I went with PODS. I did an online booking and it was clear what was going on. I requested the largest container which was 16 feet. I had our container delivered to the house I was leaving and taken to the house I moved into. The move seemed to have gone fine. When we left the house, the pod was sitting in the driveway and when we got to the new house, it was sitting in the driveway. The container was clean and it worked well. It was the right size so all went according to plan. The guy who dropped it off was delightful. While he was doing his job, he and I chatted a little bit. The transaction was painless and it went exactly as I expected.

We were working on a house and we had some items stored in PODS so that they could get to the workspace. We booked it over the phone. Their customer service was good and their driver was respectful. However, there was a mix up with the billing in the beginning, but we got it taken care of.

We've seen the PODS around in people's yards so we decided to call them. They delivered a POD to our old house, picked up the POD, put it in storage for a few months until our new house was built, then delivered the POD so we could unload it and then they took it away. The representative in California walked us through every step of the POD, from the warehouse to our house. Also, the girl in the WA office was spot on with all of her stuff and it went very smoothly.

PODS had a good price and the storage that we needed, and moved to where we needed to move to. I started online and then they referred me to call a representative. Everybody was very pleasant and efficient. We got a 16-footer and it was a good experience. The drivers were very accommodating. When they came to our old home, they were great at placing the container where we wanted it. Then when they came to our new home, particularly since it was just brand new sod that was put down, they gave a lot of advice as to where they should put it and make sure that nothing was going on the sod. They were excellent. Everything was handled very well and we had a very good interaction with them. I would highly recommend them. In fact, I already have recommended them to people who were thinking of moving and need somewhere to store items.

I had to store some things for about three months because we were moving. We put our house up for sale and I needed to run down the contents so we could have it showing well. I had seen the PODS in many places so I went online and saw what the rates were. I was able to arrange it all really easily online myself. And they also got helpers to help us load the pod. I had a 16 foot container, which is the biggest one that they had here in the Cincinnati area. But I wish I could’ve known that I should have scheduled the pick up when I was doing everything else. But once I had it loaded, I called to have them pick it up and they couldn’t come right away. So it sat on our driveway for three or four days.

I got a pod to move my whole apartment from Texas to Maryland, and this is my second interaction with PODS. I used them when I moved from Maryland to Texas a year ago, since I didn't have an apartment at the time and it was the easiest way to get all my stuff to Texas and keep them stored until I had one. I had a good experience then so when I decided to move back, I wanted to use PODS again. I also like the idea of having all my stuff completely mine with my key to lock it up with, unlike if I picked a regular mover to move across the country, and they would pack me on a truck with another house or apartment. In fact, I did that several years back and lost some stuff.

We sold the house we had for 20 years and we had PODS come, and we loaded all that's in our house in their containers. We were waiting for our other house to be finished still. We had our real estate agent help with the set up. We booked online and it was very easy. We requested for a 12 feet container and another 16 feet long container. We barely fit everything, but we were lucky. The containers were really nice and clean. They had little poles for our clothes and stuff, and racks, and little hooks to tie things down. I really liked it.

We were renovating our house, so we had to leave. I knew that PODS was based in Florida and they had good marketing, and I'd seen some pods around. So, I called them and booked a pod for storage. When you're putting stuff in storage, you seem to always need more space, but the 16 ft.-container we got was adequate. They sent it out, we put some stuff in it, they put our stuff in storage, and then a few months later we took our stuff out. The pod was clean when they got it and it came back in the exact same shape. Everybody at PODS was awesome from beginning to end. At every step, the customer service reps checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. PODS was great. We'd use them again if we had the need.

PODS is a reputable company and have their logistic down based on the level of experience and the number of years they've already been doing business. I thought it would be more efficient to use knowing that they have facilities between the two locations I was moving so I went straight to them. I tried to book online but I only got part way through the form when I decided to call someone. I ended up getting a quote over the phone and I had a pleasant and very straightforward interaction with the person I spoke to. They recommended a size but I later opted down to a different size. Luckily, the second person I spoke to recommended that I stick to the first size. I misinterpreted the lingo online and so I was grateful that they clarified the dimensions for me.

We had a 26-foot container storage on-site with PODS because of their availability and the size of the container. It had a clear roof on top to allow ambient light to get in and the driver was the best part of the experience. He was super. He's experienced, very polite, easy to work with, quick and efficient. He knew what he was doing and was able to get the container in a tight area. In fact, he picked it up out of the site after we were finished with it and was able to deliver it. The only follow-up I had to make was to get the container picked up. Everything went very smoothly and I would recommend to anybody to use PODS for that reason. It wasn’t really affordable, but really efficient.

We used PODS' storage and moving services. I booked over the phone, and the PODS representatives knew what they were talking about, told me what I needed to know, and they gave me a price and stuck to it. I requested for a 16-foot container. It got a scratch in it but that was our fault for not covering it. Other than that, everything was good and got moved across the country. The drivers were all nice and pleasant. Everything was picked up and delivered on time and for the price they said. I’d use them again if I ever have to.

We had a great experience with PODS. We used them for storage because of the size of the container and the convenience it gave us. We booked them online which was easy. They were able to deliver everything and what we needed was there. However, the instructions were to put the pod as close to the side of the driveway as possible as I needed to fit a car next to the pod and they didn't do that. I wanted the pod to be a couple more feet over so that I can park next to the pod instead of behind it. But we've made it work and it's not a big deal. My car stuck out a little bit on my sidewalk but it didn't matter because we don't have a lot of pedestrians out there in my area.

I would recommend PODS. I needed storage and they were available so I got their 7-foot container and it worked out really well.

I used PODS in two different occasions. I first used them for a storage shed. I had them deliver a pod to a stationary location and stored stuff in it for about a year while I was moving and building a house. And then the second occasion is when I moved from California to Tennessee. I loaded up a pod and had them transport my household goods to my new location. So far, I'm extremely satisfied with PODS.

Just used PODS Container moving services December 2016. Original contract was not honored and price hiked after many calls including an 1 1/2 hr conversation to tell me why my original contract could not occur. Would not trust or use this service again. Customer Service Operators are prepped to placate the dissatisfied customer but do nothing to correct the problem. Also unclear & fluctuating charges appear on account invoice. Overcharged my account. I felt I had to pay overcharge fees or my items would have been kept hostaged. Beware!

We used PODS because we had a temporary housing and we're looking for a home in a different state. When I researched PODS online, websites said the customer service was awful but I didn't experience that. However, When I was setting up the move I didn't understand why one person would tell me I could use whatever location but then when I went to actually set it up and I had a different representative, they told me I can't choose my location and it has to go to a specific one. The storage ended up being about half an hour to 45 minutes away. It didn't matter either way, but I thought that was a little odd.

The container was sturdy but it's a little pricey for a self-storage - I could have gotten a storage unit cheaper. I also made the mistake of having to move the same time I just made a payment so I lost the payment.

I've used PODS before and I had a great experience with them. I spoke to them over the phone and their reps were awesome. I got two 16's and I could have gotten by with one 16 and a small one but I didn't pack them like I should have. But the containers were great. When the drivers dropped the containers off, one driver didn't want to put it in the driveway 'cause he said he hadn't done that very long. But the other driver came in and said it was piece of cake and did both.

I did the booking of PODS over the phone, and we had two large and one seven-footer containers. The representative that I dealt with was very helpful. But PODS forgot to tell us about taxes, so we ended up with a quite different price. The guys that picked up the containers were out of this world. They were wonderful. But it would be better if they can make a smaller window of when they're gonna come because they told us 8:30 to 11:30 and they showed up at 2:30. Other than that, everything showed up wonderful. We did not have one broken item.

PODS was a recommendation from my brother because he has used it in the past and said he liked it. I tried booking PODS online, for moving purposes, and I got the 7-foot container. But then, I had to go on the phone with them to get the pod unit to Hawaii in the timeframe that I needed and because of the shipping part of the container. Because of the distance, I had to book the pod about six or seven months in advance. So if one is booking for the pod, especially going from Hawaii to the mainland, one has to give a few months leeway, because of the way the shipping goes from the mainland to Hawaii and back again.

My son had used PODS a couple years before so it had good recommendation. We rented the large unit to move and put it in our driveway. I checked the prices of various storage companies and PODS seemed to be the best. I looked up for their information online and their website was easy to navigate. The only thing it didn't do was it wouldn't give me the actual quote, so I had to call for that. And the reps were right on the money. I don't think the quote changed from what they gave me to what it finally was. I got the 7-foot container and if I'd gone up a size it would have been too much, but I filled it right up to the brim. And as far as the condition of the pod, I have no complaints with it. I would go with PODS again.

I had used PODS in the past and was very satisfied. I like the concept. It's so much easier than trying to move things to and from a storage building. You can just have it delivered to you. And it's very simple to order online. They've provided me storage for seven months. I did two of the 16-foot containers. I started out with one in April and then needed another one by August. We were building a house and so we were trying to thin out our old house and get it ready for sale. The 16-foot was the best bargain in size and all the way around. The drivers were extremely excellent, very courteous and professional.

It was a metal frame box on a wood base. It was clean, in good shape, and didn't have any damage to it. The drivers were very courteous and professional. He explained how to lock the pod and gave me tips on how to secure my stuff, where to tie them down, where to put heavy things, and how to belt them out. He was also very mindful of my driveway.

I used PODS' moving services due to the convenience and their price. I requested for an eight by eight container. It has a wooden floor, metal sides, and plastic top, and everything was good and safe. My container was moved efficiently. I'm very impressed. If we sell the house too fast I might use them one more time to send the last stuff so it’s very doable.

I had my household goods stored and moved from California to Massachusetts. I was buying a house at the other end and didn't know where I was going to live yet, so I left it stored in San Jose until I found a home. I called PODS to check and make sure that the container would be big enough. I needed some help estimating that and ended up going with the biggest one. I got the 8x8x16 white container with red PODS lettering on the outside. I would have picked a slightly bigger one if I had a choice, but that was the biggest one they had.

We had both the POD moving and storage services. We had two PODS that they put at our house that we moved from back in June and then they all stored them up until towards the end of the year. Their website was fine but then we also talked to the local PODS franchise here. We talked to the manager a couple of times who followed up to make sure the service was good. And then there were a couple of snafus - no fault of anybody else but he followed up again to make sure that they were corrected and handled appropriately. I had nothing but high praise to say about their facility here in Birmingham.

I sold my house and was building another one so I used PODS to temporarily store my stuff. I booked online and their website was easy to use. They called ahead of time to find where I was and they made sure I was ready. They were great, professional, and nice. The local guy in Albuquerque was easy to work with. They were able to take care of some stuff for me, and they followed up on some issues we had. However, the statements that I get in the mail are hard to follow and understand. When I got them I couldn't tell if I owed money or if it was a receipt for payment. Also, they never changed my address correctly on them. But I just pay online anyway.

The PODS reps were very good and they answered all my questions very clearly. They were very punctual even the night before. They informed me exactly when they were coming and they called 15 minutes before they came. They were really on top of things and I didn't have to move an inch of all the stuff that was in the container. They were also very careful in transporting it. I would rate them excellent.

When I drive around in our neighborhood, I see a lot of PODS storage containers. Evidently, if they're doing a lot of business, they must be pretty good. The people I spoke with at PODS were absolutely wonderful. They took time and seemed very knowledgeable. It was a very good experience. I took the larger container. We were downsizing, and I used them to store my furniture first at my house for about a month until we got ready to show our house. I had PODS pick it up and put it in storage. Afterwards, I brought it back to our house so that our mover could just move it all.

I've used PODS twice and did my booking online and on the phone and had a really good experience with them. Recently I used them to store my furniture. PODS only has 12-foot and 16-foot containers. At that time, I got the 16-foot one to put all our furniture. It was enough for what I needed it for. Their customer service was good and when I asked for a statement, they were fast in giving it to me. I'm very happy with PODS. If I have to get another container or store my furniture, I would definitely go with them again. I would recommend them.

Our aunt was in an assisted-living facility in Santa Cruz, California and decided to move closer to her family in Utah. It made more sense to use PODS as opposed to a truck for the move. She might have to load and not get access to her things for weeks because it was going to be combined with a couple of other loads. PODS seemed like it met all of the timeframes that we needed to accomplish. We did the booking online which was relatively easy and got their 16-foot container. We barely got the stuff in.

The container seemed safe and sturdy and in good condition. We needed the container for storage, so they sent it to the facility, stored it, and then brought it to our new house.

Our closing got delayed, so we needed a container to store some stuff for our home. The PODS military discount was advertised in the post exchange and I'm military so I chose them. I talked to them over the phone and I was very happy with everything. The three drivers I had were all great. One container was placed on a bit awkward spot and the driver who came was straight-up about how he had to place the container so that he can get it back out. Everything was good. The tie-down hooks inside the container could be a little bigger but, aside from that, I had no issues.

I was living alone and had no one to move my stuff so I contacted PODS for moving and storage of my stuff. I called them over the phone for the booking. I had a very positive interaction with their staff. I requested for the 16-ft container and I packed it full. The carrier driver was very nice. He was worried about trying to get the container into my driveway and he took his time. He did a great job. The only issue I had was that I was supposed to get a lock but I never got a lock. I called them and they took it off the bill.

I was looking for the most efficient way to do moving and storage from Charlotte, North Caroline to Bakersfield, California. I found on the internet good things about PODS then I called them and booked them for moving and storage. The lady who took care of me on the phone was good selling the company and their product, and giving me the customer service that I want. It was also cool with the pickup and drop off of the pod. Everything went good. The guy who picked up the container in Charlotte and the driver who dropped off the container in Bakersfield were both professional and nice people and they did well.

PODS was the best option that was convenient. It was just really expensive. Another company was less expensive but I would have to put everything in multiple pods and it seemed very confusing. Also, if I try to drive across country with a truck driving my Ford Escape, the car wreck would have been even more expensive. The representatives at PODS as well as the delivery and pick-up were great. Once I buy a house, I'll probably use PODS again just to move over because it is easier. You get a month to use it or hurry along or leave it there and it's their driver. I don't have to drive a big giant truck because I'm not that coordinated.

We needed the store furnishing between our closing date on the house we sold and the closing date on the house we were buying. We had heard our son and daughter-in-law had used PODS when they went to a similar thing several years ago so we went with PODS for our moving and storage. We contacted the representative over the phone and it was informative. All my questions were answered and we got things set up. Everything went fine too with the delivery. Overall, we were satisfied with the service. And if we move again, we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I needed a little bit of storage on our end because we were renting out our house. In fact, we used PODS' storage and moving services. We went with them because they're a familiar brand. And then, they were really flexible with us when I called. I gave them a couple of scenarios and they said they can do them, which was really what I needed. Booking with them over the phone was the easiest way. I ended up having to do it online to make some of the changes. I was out of the country, and realizing that we weren’t going to be able to have everything packed up on time, I made some adjustments through the chat feature on their website.

I recently used Pods. Having used them in the past I thought that it would be easy. I tried to get my rate lowered and they said that my rate is locked and there was nothing they can do. I find this to be poor and inaccurate information. Due to the fact when I first rented my Pod they said the length of time that I was renting it would affect my my rate. Having just gotten off the phone with them trying to renegotiate my rate they basically told me there was nothing they could do and that I had to keep paying the ridiculous $180 a month! I'm not happy with their customer service or the overall service that they provide. Be wary about the price they quote you when you use pods!

We were moving cross-country, from Arizona to New Jersey, and we have to get storage because we don't have any place to live yet. We've heard about PODS before, and we also checked the Better Business Bureau and PODS had a high rating. So we checked them out online first and then contacted them on the phone. We had a conversation with them and, basically, found that they seem somebody we could trust. We figured it would be easier than having a regular moving van take it and drop it off at a warehouse and unload it, and then, load it again, and bring it to the house. Economically, it would be cheaper in the long run.

I'm a realtor, and I had a client who was in a predicament who needed to get out of a house and move into another house. We couldn't get him out of the house fast enough to get into the second house. I booked a service from PODS over the phone and they brought a pod, and my client was able to move the stuff during the week. It worked excellent and their reps were all great. I would definitely recommend them to other realtors who are in a glitch and don’t know what to do.

PODS helped me with my moving. I decided to book with them because of the time period and stuff I had. Also, I went with them because the container was on a trailer from North Carolina to Michigan and for the ease of them leaving the container at my place like a motor at my own pace. It worked out great. The container I got was a smaller one with seven-foot size, which was the correct size for my needs. The carrier driver was great and awesome too. Everybody I dealt with was super helpful and the container got delivered on time.

I booked a 16-foot and 12-foot PODS containers for moving and storage over the phone. PODS was really the only place I found that had that convenience. All the interactions with the representatives were really great though something went wrong when I made my initial booking. They must have made some error which resulted in my pod map showing up, but it worked out okay. I called the morning they were supposed to come and they did everything they could to remedy the situation and got the pod out there within a couple hours for me. Even our interactions with the container driver were all fantastic. All the employees themselves were really topnotch.

The only two storage/moving companies that I knew of was PODS and PACK-RAT, I compared the prices, and PODS was lower in price. Then, I had numerous interactions with their people because there were a couple of times when I had to change the pick-up and delivery dates, and they were very pleasant in doing their job for me.

But the management and the people in finance were ridiculously unaccommodating, rude, didn't care, and wouldn’t listen to what we were saying. The whole process with PODS was horrible, and the worst part of the process was the paying of my service.

I went with PODS because they touch the merchandise one time. They load it and then unload it. Also, it was easy to keep my stuff in the POD while I settle down, then call upon the stuff and get it. The customer service communicated well. They let me know exactly what was happening. They were professional, knowledgeable, and were able to help me out. Not a lot of work was needed on my side to be able to do what I wanted. Upon pickup they locked the container and put the tag in it. They showed me what they were doing. It's neat how they have that machine that picks it up or vice versa dropped it off. Everything was safe and secure. I'd use them again.

We did a commercial rental and our equipment came in. We were told by the mall that we had to use PODS so we rented a POD and they got it off of the shopping center for us. I booked it online and they called me right away. I talked to them on the phone then we set everything up and the reps were very professional. So I did go all the way back to the house which I didn't want to do to unlock the pod and re-lock it again. He told me he only got 15 minutes and I was driving like a maniac and hoping I don't get an accident or anything else like that because I was freaking out.

I got online, I looked up the phone number through Google and called their customer service. I didn't have to wait too long to get in touch with somebody, and when I did, the rep was efficient, she wasn't overly friendly but she certainly wasn't rude. She told me what I needed to know so I didn't come away from it with any questions about how things are going to work. And then, I'd forgotten some other stuff but she directed me and so I got it taken care of and got the delivery schedule.

Pods gave us an amount they would take out of our account when they would bring the pod but what they did was take the full amount in advance. When the pod got delivered it was too small so we called them and they said they would only charge us the delivery fee but what they did they charged another 735.00 to my card besides the original 1290.00 they took out the first time. Now they credit the 735.00 but they won't credit me back the 1290.00 and only charge me the 178.00 for the delivery fee. I would not recommend this to anyone. This was our first attempt to use them and I was so disappointed with them. The person answering the phone are not trained and they keep transferring you to other people hours on the phone and nothing is getting done. I hope some manager gets this and calls me.

Some of my friends have used PODS in the past and I didn't know any other way to get my stuff home. It seemed like a logical thing to use. I needed a POD down in the state of Florida. I had some people put some stuff in it then it had to be taken up to Rochester, New York. And it had to wait because I hadn't closed on my house yet. When I did get it, they brought the POD in and I hired a couple of guys to empty it out. I got the 12 foot container and I wish I ordered a bigger one because I could've used a little bit more room. Also, it was a little awkward when the guy came for the POD to my place because I live where there's a bunch of townhouses and the parking spots are numbered. I had to ask permission from three neighbors that I didn't even know because he had to get the POD and needed at least three spaces to do his maneuvering. So I had to do a lot of extra work getting the spot secured and not pissing anybody off.

I had a very good, highly favorable experience overall with PODS. Before I set the booking online, I made some phone calls and they were very informative. I booked with them because of their flexibility and pricing. We got two of their sixteen-foot containers to be used for moving and storage. In retrospect, I should have gotten the twelve-foot for the second one, but it was fine for what we had to do to move the contents of our home. The delivery drivers who dropped off and picked up the pods were very approachable and able to answer any last minute questions about logistics. We had some very minor damage when the contents arrived at the location but still, I would definitely use them again for the future.

Even though PODS was expensive, we got it for the convenience of having a POD, being able to take a couple of weeks to load it and then a week to unload it. They hooked me up with an online account and when I was ready for them to pick it up, I clicked the button and they came and got it. I'm gonna use them for my house when I redo all my floors.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! They canceled my order without my authorization or notifying me and I ended up across the country in an empty apartment for two weeks. Horrible customer service, horrible company overall. Read their BBB reviews 82% negative. Don't make the mistake we made.

I sold my house so, I ordered myself a pod. I always thought they only had 12ft so I ran out of room. I ended up getting a 12ft and 7ft. Mike went out of his way because I was in tears when I thought I will have to unload the 12ft container but they’d store it until I could move into my new house. He fixed the problem. My stuff was picked up quickly so it's really good. The carrier driver was absolutely wonderful. He got the container where I needed it and positioned it correctly. I've already recommended them to my several friends. PODS repaired the problem and it ended up being a really good positive experience for me.

I moved and had storage for a month with PODS and everything was fantastic. I went with them because of how easy it was to do it with them. Everybody I've come in contact, they're nothing but professional. The only trouble I had online was when I was trying to make some changes as far as dates for it to be redelivered. After they pick it up, they store it and they are gonna deliver it to me as well but when they were gonna deliver it to me, I had to change dates and even the address and it would not let me do it online. It made me call, which may be policy procedures the way that they do it so there’s no confusion. Other than that, I didn't have any issues and they did exactly what they said they were gonna do.

We had previously used PODS so we got with them again for a storage in our property while a new garage was being built. Their large container worked out very well and the driver who delivered it and picked it up was very good. The only thing I noted to him was the difficulty in opening the door. It wasn’t impossible to do but it was a little cranky. Other than that, there were no issues at all.

I wouldn't use PODS again if my life depended on it. I moved from CT to CA with a mix of personal and business stuff in the POD - business stuff I needed immediate access to upon my arrival to CA. The day I left, I was contacted saying that they were delaying delivery for a week because they hadn't received a gypsy moth form - a form no one thought to tell me about in advance.

I know storage units where I can take my stuff to a storage company but what I wanted was for someone to bring a really big box to my house where I can put all my stuff in and keep it at my house. I started to book online with PODS then I called in because I was hoping to find a better offer. I ended up with the better offer after calling in and they offered me a good deal where I got three months and the fourth month will be free. The reps were incredibly helpful. I was only supposed to rent a pod for four months max and I ended up renting a pod for almost two years. I requested for the 12-foot pod and it was a little bit bigger than I needed. But it was perfect because I was able to add stuff later that I wasn't expecting or wasn't intending on adding in later.
