    I rented a POD and had it delivered and stored in their facility for almost eight months, and I had them deliver it back to me. They basically did a drop off, a pick up and storage, and we did everything else. I made every effort to book it online unsuccessfully. I tried their website which I found to be very difficult to deal with. I may be old but I'm sharp on a computer. Their site is not intuitive in the way I do things and it said, "Well, it may take five minutes for the changes to show up on the site." So I wound up calling them.

    When I wanted to schedule the delivery, I decided I'm gonna drop back here and see if I can actually talk to a human and I did. I called them to order it and had them schedule when to drop it off. The pickup again was the problem. When I wanted it picked up, I run up on the web and told them to pick it up. But I didn't get a response that said, "Yes, we got your order." And they didn't show it on the website for a couple of days. That was the only part that I found annoying because nowadays instant responses on websites are fairly common. PODS apparently does not have that capability. It's not a live site. Apparently they've got to take your order and then process it and put it back on their site.

    But the drivers were great. They were very nice guys and seem to know their business and handle the equipment, which is very unusual and interesting. I stayed out and watched them run it. They called me ahead of time when they were delivering. It was 30 minutes out just like they said. It was well done and I had nothing but minor damage inside the POD. One of these plastic containers was a little bit cracked. But for the most part, everything I put in the container came out perfect, and was not damaged in any way. I was very impressed with that.

    I booked with PODS over the phone for moving and storage and the representatives were friendly. But when I asked them about discounts, they were not able to provide me any until I found it from my insurance company, USAA. Then when I went back to PODS, they adjusted the price for me. Overall, PODS did exactly what they said they were going to do. They picked the equipment up and dropped it off when they said they would. He telephoned before he arrived and the pod was put exactly where I wanted it, both for picking up and dropping off. As far as the professional attitude of the people, everybody was good.

    But the customer service needs to work out the details about the things that are in the pod once they pick them up as far as storing and moving them. When the container with the goods arrived, we took out the items and some had been damaged and scratched. The container box must have not been kept leveled as promised and we had all the equipment tied down in the box. We mostly had power tools and heavy cable saws in the pod and they weren’t going in when I was loading it. But I made sure the pod was well-balanced when I was loading the items. Also, we had an electronic thermometer in the container, which recorded the temperature during the storage for four or five months, and the temperature went above a hundred degrees. I wasn't sure that the container would not be air-conditioned at that temperature.

    The way that I needed the service done was what PODS offered. We didn’t know timelines and have a place on the other end of our journey that was secured yet, so I knew I could have PODS move our things and then move it into storage until we found a place. We had 16-footers and a 7-footer and they were very clean and sturdy.

    Overall, I was so impressed with everybody I encountered and they were very patient with me. Although we had a lot of hiccups with the changing of timeframes, they were very accommodating and really caring about what I was saying. I talked to PODS by phone to help walk me through the service more, and everyone I spoke to was excellent. Moreover, the driver was wonderful and very helpful. On the home we ended up at, we had a really long driveway and they were great about trying to coordinate the delivery so it could work out where we didn't have to walk too far around to get into the garage.

    We got our hardwood floors redone, so we moved everything out of the house for storage. With PODS, we didn't have to take our items to a storage facility. My wife called them and we got their 16-foot container. We'd use a bigger one if they had it. The driver was on time and seemed very professional and confident about the way he was doing his work. We talked to him while he was unloading and it was a good interaction. I was fascinated by the whole process. The only problem I would have with it is if I were shipping across the country or to a different place because it would have taken a whole lot of pods to get a whole house full of stuff moved. But other than that, it was a very good experience. They provided the service I expected and with no problems. I've already recommended them to different people.

    Our closing got delayed, so we needed a container to store some stuff for our home. The PODS military discount was advertised in the post exchange and I'm military so I chose them. I talked to them over the phone and I was very happy with everything. The three drivers I had were all great. One container was placed on a bit awkward spot and the driver who came was straight-up about how he had to place the container so that he can get it back out. Everything was good. The tie-down hooks inside the container could be a little bigger but, aside from that, I had no issues.

    I was living alone and had no one to move my stuff so I contacted PODS for moving and storage of my stuff. I called them over the phone for the booking. I had a very positive interaction with their staff. I requested for the 16-ft container and I packed it full. The carrier driver was very nice. He was worried about trying to get the container into my driveway and he took his time. He did a great job. The only issue I had was that I was supposed to get a lock but I never got a lock.     I was looking for the most efficient way to do moving and storage from Charlotte, North Caroline to Bakersfield, California. I found on the internet good things about PODS then I called them and booked them for moving and storage. The lady who took care of me on the phone was good selling the company and their product, and giving me the customer service that I want. It was also cool with the pickup and drop off of the pod.     PODS was the best option that was convenient. It was just really expensive. Another company was less expensive but I would have to put everything in multiple pods and it seemed very confusing. Also, if I try to drive across country with a truck driving my Ford Escape, the car wreck would have been even more expensive. The representatives at PODS as well as the delivery and pick-up were great. Once I buy a house, I'll probably use PODS again just to move over because it is easier. You get a month to use it or hurry along or leave it there and it's their driver. I don't have to drive a big giant truck because I'm not that coordinated.

    We needed the store furnishing between our closing date on the house we sold and the closing date on the house we were buying.     I needed a little bit of storage on our end because we were renting out our house. In fact, we used PODS' storage and moving services. We went with them because they're a familiar brand. And then, they were really flexible with us when I called. I gave them a couple of scenarios and they said they can do them, which was really what I needed. Booking with them over the phone was the easiest way. I ended up having to do it online to make some of the changes. I was out of the country, and realizing that we weren’t going to be able to have everything packed up on time, I made some adjustments through the chat feature on their website.

    I requested for the 7-ft container. I did a terrible job of estimating how much stuff we really had and we probably could’ve used the bigger one, but the price jump between the smallest and the next largest was extreme. So, we just made do. It was almost $1,000 for just a few more feet, which was why I didn’t go with the bigger one. The drivers were really great every time they called and told us about what time they’d be there, and they were there at the beginning of when they said they would be. I would like to complain about the 7 AM pick up, but being there all the way was good, though. A week after the pick-up, somebody from the Birmingham location called to make sure that we didn’t have anything that was damaged, and everything was fine.

    I recently used Pods. Having used them in the past I thought that it would be easy. I tried to get my rate lowered and they said that my rate is locked and there was nothing they can do. I find this to be poor and inaccurate information. Due to the fact when I first rented my Pod they said the length of time that I was renting it would affect my my rate. Having just gotten off the phone with them trying to renegotiate my rate they basically told me there was nothing they could do and that I had to keep paying the ridiculous $180 a month! I'm not happy with their customer service or the overall service that they provide. Be wary about the price they quote you when you use pods!

    We were moving cross-country, from Arizona to New Jersey, and we have to get storage because we don't have any place to live yet. We've heard about PODS before, and we also checked the Better Business Bureau and PODS had a high rating. So we checked them out online first and then contacted them on the phone. We had a conversation with them and, basically, found that they seem somebody we could trust. We figured it would be easier than having a regular moving van take it and drop it off at a warehouse and unload it, and then, load it again, and bring it to the house. Economically, it would be cheaper in the long run.

    So we started out with a 16-footer and we had to get a 7-footer. We got a little extra room and it just made everything a little easier. The drivers were great. We had no problems with either one of them and everything was smooth. Since we've had our experience, we tell people what we used and we were very pleased with them and they should consider it.

    The only two storage/moving companies that I knew of was PODS and PACK-RAT, I compared the prices, and PODS was lower in price. Then, I hired them to move from Connecticut to Florida, and booking was over the phone. Then, I had numerous interactions with their people because there were a couple of times when I had to change the pick-up and delivery dates, and they were very pleasant in doing their job for me.

    I had a 16-foot container and a 7-foot container, and they were spotless and clean. Plus, the driver who delivered both of them and the driver who picked them up at the end were extremely courteous. I had always wondered how the pods got on and off the truck and once I saw how the operator did it, I was completely fascinated. He answered all the questions that I asked of him.

    The only problem was that my wife had the billing problem because we had two pods that were delivered not on the same day which meant there were two different billing cycles which confused her to no end. But we got the problem all figured out and in the end, everybody was happy. If we had to do the move all over again, we would choose PODS again, the service was wonderful.

    I booked a 16-foot and 12-foot PODS containers for moving and storage over the phone. PODS was really the only place I found that had that convenience. All the interactions with the representatives were really great though something went wrong when I made my initial booking. They must have made some error which resulted in my pod map showing up, but it worked out okay. I called the morning they were supposed to come and they did everything they could to remedy the situation and got the pod out there within a couple hours for me.     We booked a seven-foot pod online for moving and storage. The booking was easy and I went with PODS because I like the convenience of having it delivered directly to my house. Everything in the move worked out really well. The only thing was it's expensive. It would be nice if they would have some different payment options. Instead of having a monthly storage fee, they could make it a weekly fee or a bi-weekly. Because if someone rents a pod in the middle of the month and only need it for a couple of weeks, then what's the point of paying for an entire month?

    I needed PODS for storage. I moved all my furniture out to the front of my house while doing work on the house, when I redid our house. I had looked at some of the other moving and storage providers, and PODS seemed like they were going to fit into my schedule and things would work well with them. I called them over the phone to book my PODS. I requested a larger container, but it would've been nice to have gotten a bigger one.     I went with PODS because they touch the merchandise one time. They load it and then unload it. Also, it was easy to keep my stuff in the POD while I settle down, then call upon the stuff and get it. The customer service communicated well. They let me know exactly what was happening. They were professional, knowledgeable, and were able to help me out. Not a lot of work was needed on my side to be able to do what I wanted. Upon pickup they locked the container and put the tag in it. They showed me what they were doing. It's neat how they have that machine that picks it up or vice versa dropped it off.     My cousin and I needed delivery and from Florida to Indiana, but with an actual pod, and PODS seemed to be the only logical choice. We had to deal with six reps because of the issues, and each representative was phenomenal. I sent an email for one of the girls that helped us out originally, how good she was. But the management and the people in finance were ridiculously unaccommodating, rude, didn't care, and wouldn’t listen to what we were saying. The whole process with PODS was horrible, and the worst part of the process was the paying of my service.

    My cousin had a problem because of a new credit card that wasn’t going through at the time, so I gave my credit card to pay for everything. However, PODS tried to charge his credit card 10 times. His credit card company kept calling him saying that there’s bad activity, and they can’t do this. The activity is not processed yet. He said, “I know. I keep telling them.” PODS also charged me the wrong amount twice, and it took us literally a week and a half for them to get everything figured out and correctly done. I called customer service on those issues, nobody in that time could figure out what the hell was going on and it wasn’t very hard. It’s just quit charging my card. So, that was just an absolute financial nightmare.

    We originally got a 7-foot and were going to send a driver with the U-Haul with a bunch of other things. Then, there became issues anyway. We ended up having them come back, got the 7-foot and shipped the 12-foot. Nonetheless, the container was fine, clean and sturdy and the drivers were fantastic, accommodating, and just as nice as they could be. I would use PODS again but before this happens, I would make sure that everybody is on the same page.

They deliver the pods and we just had to load them up and they would move them, as opposed to us having to move it to a storage unit.     I needed a pod when I moved out of state and PODS was the most reasonably priced. I called over the phone and got customer service right away. They explained what the rates were and the reps were really good. The drop off driver was wonderful - very pleasant, very nice, and very accommodating, but he should have instructed me to put the lock on the second notch and not on the first one, or the pod won't be picked up. Every driver should tell that to any person he comes in contact with. It would have been a problem had somebody taken off or had I been not close by because the pick up driver called and told me he can't pickup the pod because of the way it was locked. So I did go all the way back to the house which I didn't want to do to unlock the pod and re-lock it again. He told me he only got 15 minutes and I was driving like a maniac and hoping I don't get an accident or anything else like that because I was freaking out.

    It was my first experience with PODS, and I was very pleasantly surprised that it was good from start to finish. I got online, I looked up the phone number through Google and called their customer service. I didn't have to wait too long to get in touch with somebody, and when I did, the rep was efficient, she wasn't overly friendly but she certainly wasn't rude. And as we got talking more, she became friendlier and it went perfectly smoothly. She told me what I needed to know so I didn't come away from it with any questions about how things are going to work. And then, I'd forgotten some other stuff but she directed me and so I got it taken care of and got the delivery schedule.

    Before he delivered, I got a call from the delivery guy and then again when he got to my house. I was at work, so he and I spoke about exactly how I wanted them to place the container. He was super nice and put it exactly where I wanted it. When I was done, I called back and they came and got it. Everything was easy. The only thing I ended up with a question about afterward was after they've picked up the pod, there was another charge on my account for $73, which I can't remember what it was for. We had three 16-foot containers dropped off at the house. We probably could have gotten away with a 12-foot container instead of a 16-foot one but they said they didn't use 12-foot containers for long distance moves. The 16-foot containers were picked up and put in storage for a short period then delivered to the new home.     Pods gave us an amount they would take out of our account when they would bring the pod but what they did was take the full amount in advance. When the pod got delivered it was too small so we called them and they said they would only charge us the delivery fee but what they did they charged another 735.00 to my card besides the original 1290.00 they took out the first time. Now they credit the 735.00 but they won't credit me back the 1290.00 and only charge me the 178.00 for the delivery fee. I would not recommend this to anyone. This was our first attempt to use them and I was so disappointed with them. The person answering the phone are not trained and they keep transferring you to other people hours on the phone and nothing is getting done. I hope some manager gets this and calls me.

    Some of my friends have used PODS in the past and I didn't know any other way to get my stuff home. It seemed like a logical thing to use. I needed a POD down in the state of Florida. I had some people put some stuff in it then it had to be taken up to Rochester, New York. And it had to wait because I hadn't closed on my house yet. When I did get it, they brought the POD in and I hired a couple of guys to empty it out. I got the 12 foot container and I wish I ordered a bigger one because I could've used a little bit more room. Also, it was a little awkward when the guy came for the POD to my place because I live where there's a bunch of townhouses and the parking spots are numbered. I had to ask permission from three neighbors that I didn't even know because he had to get the POD and needed at least three spaces to do his maneuvering. So I had to do a lot of extra work getting the spot secured and not pissing anybody off.

    We used PODS for drop off and pick up as we needed the longer time to be able to load and unload the pod. Booking online was awesome. It was convenient and easy to understand. I also was able to pick the date and time and it gave tips on what size pods is to like based on the house size. We got a 12-foot and we could have gone a little bit smaller, but it was nice to have the extra room because we weren't the most efficient with packing. It was sturdy and clean. The one thing that was where we were supposed to tie things down, could be improved upon because there were just some little small eyehook and had we actually been moving a long distance, I would have been a little concerned about the security of it. Everything else was great and we actually had items in a pod for about three months and we felt like it was secure and we weren't really worried about the weather or anything like that.

    Also, they were helping my mother and she was very impressed by the courtesy of the truck driver and how polite he was. We just had the container relocated because she was moving from one apartment to another in a townhouse complex. But it was great because when I called to schedule the relocation they were able to key it in a different pod that actually saved me some money. So, that right there earned it an extra referral from me because the person that I talked to was so helpful in that sense of figuring out what was going to be exactly best for our needs. Everything was cut and dry once we got everything moved and sorted out. And then they came and picked up the pod. I have and would recommend them highly.     I contracted the services of PODS for moving as I could afford the POD, but not the movers. I started my booking of the POD online, but then it wasn't going through, so I called and set it up with an operator. I requested the 7-foot container. It was the correct size for that time and was perfect.     I thought using PODS would be less expensive and easier than hiring movers and then having things put into a storage facility when we moved up to Michigan from Georgia and then have it brought over from the storage facility to whatever house we purchased. I wanted to do everything online, but for some reason, I wasn't able to, so I ended up having to use the phone. I had a couple of weeks to pack up. I got the largest sized container but if we could have had a bigger one, we probably would have gone with that, but it was good enough. It’s got all our stuff in it and then donated whatever wouldn’t fit.

    However, the door was a little messed up sometimes from putting our queen size box spring in there and I had to bend it back.     When my dad moved, not too long ago just earlier this year, he used PODS and absolutely loved it. He said that there's no other way to move. We needed the storage while we were in between.     I chose PODS from where I was in Texas because they offered the largest POD, the 16-foot, that I couldn't get anywhere else locally. Also, they were willing to store it in Portland until I finished remodeling. The people at the Wilsonville where my PODS were stored were outstanding, helpful and very easy to deal with. They were all very nice except for the day that I left and they were supposed to pick up the PODS.

    I was halfway to Amarillo, Texas when I received a phone call from the driver saying he was ready to pick up the PODS. I said, "Fine. Pick them up." And he said, "So, there won't be anyone in the driveways?" I replied, "There shouldn't be. I've moved out and the new owner is not supposed to move in until Monday." This was a Saturday morning. Then I found out later that he didn't pick up anything. He drove by and it turned out there was a car in the driveway. I don't know if it was the new owner buying or it was somebody just looking, thinking they might wanna buy the house or something. I had no control over that. The driver was very rude.     The price of PODS was significantly lower than other companies. I got the 16-foot container and their rep was very helpful. The drivers who picked up the container also did an excellent job. The only problem was I noticed a bunch of tarred-like particles in the bin when it arrived and it’s taken me a while to clean them off my floor.     I wouldn't use PODS again if my life depended on it. I moved from CT to CA with a mix of personal and business stuff in the POD - business stuff I needed immediate access to upon my arrival to CA. The day I left, I was contacted saying that they were delaying delivery for a week because they hadn't received a gypsy moth form - a form no one thought to tell me about in advance.

    I asked them why they hadn't told me about this before and they had no explanation. Essentially they messed up so I was the one who had to deal with it. I had to pull off the road to a Staples to print, fill out and email AND fax the form. Then they said they didn't receive it! So I had to pull off the road again to do it again! It took considerable time away from my driving schedule.

    So after my arrival in CA, they can't give me a date of arrival because they don't know where my container is! I'm panicking at this point because I have clients waiting on me to resume business. They say they will check on it and get back to me. That never happened. I finally got a hold of someone today who said deliver has been delayed further!

    I'm livid at this point because customer service is trying to make me feel bad for being angry about more delays! It seems unreasonable that it would take a full-time trucker two weeks to cross the country when I did it in less time and only drove 4-5 hour per day. Apparently paying these people $3500 gets you no consideration at all. You just have to sit back why they mess up time and time again, and just hope that, one day, you'll see your belongings again.

    I found out about PODS when I moved in October of 2010. I hadn't gotten a house to move in and I didn't know how to handle that. When I was going to the store one day, I saw a big, white container in somebody's driveway and I thought, "What is that?" I called the number and they explained it to me. I used them and I was thoroughly pleased. I used the phone when transacting with them because I don't trust what I'm putting on there online and I'm thinking I might put on the wrong thing.

    The person that I talked to was fine. He explained it out 'cause I asked him, "When they take that white container away, you don't store it in the field or something?" He explained, "No, it goes in a climate-controlled building." That pleased me and it has worked out so good. If I moved again, I would go back to it again. It's the best way.     I know storage units where I can take my stuff to a storage company but what I wanted was for someone to bring a really big box to my house where I can put all my stuff in and keep it at my house. I started to book online with PODS then I called in because I was hoping to find a better offer. I ended up with the better offer after calling in and they offered me a good deal where I got three months and the fourth month will be free. The reps were incredibly helpful. I was only supposed to rent a pod for four months max and I ended up renting a pod for almost two years. I requested for the 12-foot pod and it was a little bit bigger than I needed. But it was perfect because I was able to add stuff later that I wasn't expecting or wasn't intending on adding in later.

    I had bed bugs and when PODS got a container van to my house, I basically put all my stuff in the pod and let it bake for the summer. Now I'm bedbug-free and it only cost a pod. What I did in my room was I took down the dry wall then got a room unit from Mapei which ended up costing $1200. But to do my whole house would have cost $5000. So being with PODS for two years was still cheaper than having Mapei do the entire house. Also, the gentleman who brought the pod put it in this hard to reach area of my house. Despite the way that my roof and the fence were set up, he got it in this tight little fit corner. Then he remembered me two years later and said "I remember putting this pod in. I'm so happy you took the time to remember that I was the one who did this and had me come back." That's how PODS worked really well for me and it was an absolutely amazing experience all the way around. They're a wonderful company.

    We booked a 16-feet pod over the phone, had it delivered, and then we packed our things up and they shipped them to our new house. We did not want to use movers as PODS was more cost-effective for us at the time. They gave us instructions on how to pack the pod if needed. The drivers were quick, friendly, and they did what they needed to do. They also gave me a window of time and they arrived within that time frame. PODS worked for what we needed and I would use them again if I had to.

    I talked to their rep since we had to change dates. However, the girl said that they were having a separate pod, meaning that I was gonna be charged for two different pickups instead of one. There was a miscommunication or maybe somebody didn't know to group them together. But everybody was really helpful in getting this issue resolved. She said she was gonna do the adjustment in the system so I hope that was corrected. Also, the billing was confusing to me. I think they could do better on that. And I kept getting emails saying that I haven't paid even though I did - they even confirmed it when I call them since I charged it on my credit card.

If I used the website or called in and made a change, I couldn't see the change on the website. In this day and age, if I make some changes, it should reflect immediately on the website.     I booked with PODS over the phone. The customer service rep was terrific. She thoroughly explained the cost right down to the last nickel and both drivers were fantastic. The only thing I didn't like was there were not nearly enough tie-downs. I would've loved it if the strut, the upright, and the beam have a slot in them where you could put something straight in and then twist it and then have these hooks all over the place, rather than have a few welded on islets all over the place. The tied downs were terrible. It forced me to pack the truck with a lot of garbage to feel secure. But that's the only problem. The doors work fine. I just felt as though I would've really liked it if I could've secured it as much as I would've liked and I nearly didn't see the big cost the PODS would've been.

    I rented a POD to keep on my property in TEXAS which was fine if you just look at delivery to my location, but and this is important when I called to set up an actual move with my POD is was a Nightmare. Customer service is HORRIBLE!!! They have unrealistic dates and times for cross country deliveries. Their Customer service people are Beyond uninformed robots that read straight from a script and are uninformed about how to make decisions around customer service. Kenneth the "supervisor" is never in the office and no executive or director to help make things go smoothly with a cross country move. PODS is INFLEXIBLE in every way and they have NO MANAGEMENT that can help make decisions if you need something extra or different.

    PODS picked up my belongings on November 26 in Texas and it took them 10 days to get my property to the new location in California!!! 10 days??!! I put a tracker on my POD and knew that it had arrived long prior to the delivery date. I contacted the office and asked if my POD was in town why were they not delivering it? Was told they were busy and couldn't deliver until the contracted date of December 5. PODS customer service also lied to me about the location!!! I was told my pod was still in transit when it was sitting in a trucking yard in California! They made my belongings sit in a shipping yard in COMPTON CA for 5 extra days because they can and because they didn't want to bother delivering it early or prior to the final day on the agreement which was December 5th which made me have to get a hotel and wait it out for an extra 4 days! NEVER USE THEM.

    PODS did a great job for me. I needed moving and storage services and since I liked their business concept, I went with them. Everybody I spoke with was very helpful. I had several calls with the customer service department. They were always very friendly, and helped me coordinate dropping containers off and picking them up so that there was space. I had a three-bedroom home in Albuquerque. I told the representative what the house looked like and then we ordered two 16-foot pods. However, when it was all said and done, I ended up with seven 16-foot pods. I felt that they were way off in the estimate in terms of the total cubic feet I needed in order to pack, store, and ship. That was the only problem that I really had.

    The drivers who picked up the pods were all great. I had pods picked up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, stored in Albuquerque and taken to Denver. One pod was picked up in an apartment in Las Vegas, Nevada and that was an interesting one because they had to find a unique place to park it in an apartment complex. I had six containers in my driveway at one time. I’ll highly recommend PODS to anybody. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure that they calculate their needs better.

    We used PODS for the storage unit and the transportation, and then I got the pack and load services for unloading. I had checked on the cost with the moving companies, and I was originally going with the U-Haul truck and having relatives help drive it out. But then, it seemed like the relatives weren't as enthusiastic as when they first said they would help with the move, and I thought it would be easier and better for our peace of mind to go with the POD, and that worked out very well. I booked online at first, but was instructed to call Customer Service, so that's what I did. The rep was very good and helpful. I knew from looking at the stuff online what I needed, and requested a 16-foot container. The container was 8 feet, by 8 feet, by 16 feet in size, had a roll-up door, and was clean and sturdy. The pack and load service folks contacted me.

    There were no hiccups whatsoever in moving my container. The people that picked it up and delivered it were all very professional, nice, courteous, and willing to please. They were very good representation for PODS. They dropped the storage unit off, picked it up four days later like they said they would, and then delivered it out here after another nine days. It was an easy process. It was very nice to get a call from them the night before they came, and then the driver called the next day. That's a good process of making sure that communication is being made.

    The only problem was, when they delivered my things, some of the stuff within the container had shifted. We had taken some rope and crisscrossed it at the very end to make a net, but some stuff still shifted through during the transportation. I tried opening the container before the driver that dropped it off had left, and being a middle-aged women, it was hard for me to get the door open, but the driver was awesome and very helpful, bless his heart. Overall, it was a very efficient and economical way to move.

    Booking with PODS online was very easy. However, choosing the correct size container needs to be explained a little bit better online when I don’t have someone to talk to about how much. It says online that a 16 would fit a four-bedroom house and it doesn’t fit. We ended up leaving our appliances with the house so we didn’t have to buy another one. I was charged to drop off and the container be picked up from a residence two streets away from where they picked it up and didn’t charge me but when they dropped it off, they charged me. When I called, the lady told me it was 24 miles and I said, “No matter which way you look on the map from PODS to my home, my address right now is 11.5 miles." She argued with me for a really long time and finally her manager got on and said they would refund me but she was very rude about it. But overall, our experience was great and super, super easy.

    I ordered a unit immediately following the flood to store salvageable items. I made the initial payment with my husband's credit card without being informed that this card would be debited automatically each month. Secondly we called to have the pod picked up on the 28th and was told that they would be here to pick it up on the 29th at 7am. Immediately after our phone card my husband's card was debited for the monthly amount of $153 plus the $69 pick up fee. Remind you that we are being billed $153 and will not the pod for use.

    It's now 9am and the unit is still sitting in my yard. I called customer service several time and each person seem to be confused and kept transferring me or either hanging up on me. This is the worst experience ever and I will never use them again. I rather rent a U-Haul and rent a storage unit especially for the money we have paid. I'm just disgusted and appalled by this company and nonchalant attitudes of the reps I spoke with located here in Baton Rouge, LA and through their customer service line. A very unhappy customer.

    I needed a storage unit that I could take my time loading and then I needed those relocated. I was paying for my own dime and I needed time to do it so I went with PODS. I booked online and then I spoke to a rep on the phone because I needed more clarification, and both were very easy. I had a lot of clarifying conversations with them and somebody helped me through so that I got the right sized pod and didn't end up squeezed too much. I got the biggest pod since the second pod was quite a big jump in price and I wished there had been a way of having it through. I did get another one, so that was a bit painful when I thought how much it would cost to get another needless hauling.

    The driver was great and he obviously spent a lot of time. I spent a little time with him asking many things and he was very nice about it. They didn't do anything that would upset me in any way and I was pleased with that. In one case, I felt they wanted to come a little early because the person happened to be available in the area. I didn't delay the delivery by there to here on this end and it was very convenient. I only wish PODS had an easier way to explain to somebody how to pack. I would have done it differently now that I'm knowledgeable about it. For the first time person, there should be a strategy in terms of packing and how they can maximize that space without breaking things in the best way possible. But overall, I'm certainly happy with the experience.

    We moved recently and we had to store some furniture for a while. PODS was easy and the simplest way for us to do it. Compared to all the other optioned we weighed, availing of PODS's services made the most sense. We booked over the phone which was easy and this was several months ago. It was great and there were no problems. We got a 12-foot container and it wasn't that much more money for that bigger one. Their guys came and dropped it off. The container was clean although it could have used some more places to tie stuff up and some hooks or tie-down straps. Other than that, there was no problem at all. I bought some rope and we tied it up as much as we could. We then loaded the stuff we were taking with us to our old house and PODS stored our stuff for three months. When our new house was finished, we had them deliver the container and we unloaded it. They picked it up afterward.

    The drivers were great and they got the container where I wanted it. They gave me a window and they were within that time. They also did stuff I didn't think they could do and they were great. The move was very timely and efficient. One thing I was impressed with was it was like the garbage container, it got pulled up and the furniture would be sliding around. It went straight up and straight down. A lot of people probably don't realize that that happens. I was very satisfied with my experience and I would recommend PODS to anybody who is moving.

    I was looking for a really safe, secure place to store my mother’s belongings, and I wanted an environment that I felt her belongings wouldn’t be destroyed or damaged.     I’ve used PODS twice. My mother passed away in January of 2013 and we used the service to do some changes in the home that needed to be done. We had the container in front of the house for about six months and it was a tremendous assistance because we were able to work slowly and move things and reorganize. Then my husband became ill and I had to face another tragedy about health. I then had to make a decision to move my business of 30 years into my home and go virtual. It matched that I would have to have access to things and I had to liquidate about 85% of my inventory. I needed immediate things to handle customers and so as not to turn my house into a warehouse, besides having very large warehouse facilities to support backup, I had the POD in front of the house for files and things of that nature for almost a year. It worked out really well because it gave me the chance to do things in phases instead of having to do it all at once.

    I got the largest POD and watching the technology was incredible. I don’t know who invented it but it’s amazing to watch them bring it, put it out and take it away. It’s an incredible piece of equipment and unbelievable. It’s like the ultimate toy and it's really cool. The customer service has been very nice and professional. I like the fact that they’re very security-oriented and they make us go through the steps of validation of who we are and that’s very important. They worked with us and everybody was very polite and understanding even if it was a bit of a chaotic situation. At that time, me and my wife really weren't sure where we were moving so we needed it stored and then have it delivered close to wherever we did get moved to.     We were moving and I used PODS due to their reputation, word of mouth and the price. I booked them over the phone and had a brief interaction with the PODS representative who was direct to the point, knowledgeable and kind. I had a good idea of the size of the container and the rep confirmed it. I got the biggest one they had and it was perfect for my needs.     We heard a few great things about PODS and it was exactly what we needed because not only would they bring our items down to Virginia, but we didn’t have a new location to move into yet so we needed the storage aspect of it. There was a really nice fellow down here that delivered the pod, and he was also the same fellow that picked up the empty pod.

    However, choosing the correct size really stunk and I would have loved a do-over. My girlfriend had moved about a month before us down to Florida and she had a 16-foot pod and suggested that the 16-foot for us would be fine. It was really hard to judge and as it turned out, we should have had two 16's and I don’t know whether there was a service available other than just suggesting "this size house gets this" or "that size house gets that".

    We ended up getting two 10 by 10 storage units in the next town over. So all in all that doesn’t sound that bad. But once we moved down to Virginia, we rented a U-haul and emptied out those storage units and brought them down, and not only was it a complete cut into our time but it would have been less expensive to get that second 16-foot pod. It would've been nice if they could've come and taken a look at our house like the way moving companies would. It's hard to judge on your own so having a service like that would be amazing.

    I wasn't sure when I was going to move and needed the storage. I've tried other options, but PODS was the best. So I booked with them over the phone for storage and moving cross-country. I did a lot of research online, I ended up having to call them because I had some questions. I had a very excellent experience with their reps. Everybody that I dealt with was very professional, seemed to know their job, and answered my questions. I was very happy with the information I got, which ended up being accurate.

    The drivers at both delivery and pickup of the container were very good, and seemed to be well trained and really know what they were doing. For the most part, the drivers were on time. They came a little bit beyond the three-hour window the first time and I would have liked them to have gotten there much earlier on the first day, but they didn't get their job order till almost evening, and that threw me off a little bit. But still, they were very much responsive to our needs. In fact, the second time we had my move all set up, the driver has been very nice and accommodating when we had to move the container and turn it around because the Board of Directors came out and said I couldn't have it on the road, even if I was told before that I could.

    I was bothered that I had no idea it was going to take two weeks from the time I called to get here from cross-country, otherwise I would have ordered the move a lot sooner when I realized what day I wanted it done. No one told me about that, so I was surprised, since I figured it would take four to seven days. So, I ended up having to wait a couple of weeks and was worried about having to pay for extra storage time, but they said that I was still within the time window.

    Originally, I had ordered two containers just to be on the safe side, a 16 foot container and a 7 foot one, but ended up not using the 7 foot container. The container I used for my move was good. However, the roof was lifted up by one side of it in the corner, and I was a little worried about that due to the long distance of travel, but it seemed to be okay and there weren't any leaks. All my stuff arrived okay. Overall, my experience with PODS was excellent, and I have no complaints other than the two weeks waiting time for my move. I'd definitely recommend them.

    I had used PODS before eight years ago. The only thing I didn't like this time is the day that the POD was supposed to be delivered back to me, I couldn't talk to anybody. It was late in the day when they finally got back to me with the time. When they brought the POD to begin with, it was early in the morning and when I wanted to bring it back so I could empty them, it was going to be late in the afternoon.     I used PODS in Kansas City once before so I went with them again. I rented two different-sized pods and stored them for about six months. They took them to their storage site. However, we had a long driveway which was a flat space and there was a bunch of patio furniture sitting out there and when they were bringing the second pod, they clipped and dented the corner of my wrought iron patio table. But when I called the local owner, he told me to get it fixed, send them the bill and they'll pay for it, which is what happened. So all of it on the local end was totally a pleasant experience and everyone there was lovely. The drivers were great too, and it wasn't their fault.

    But the billing department in Florida was a straight up mess and were hell on wheels. For that reason solely, I would never use PODS again because they're horrible people and a nightmare to deal with. They also hung up on me and wouldn't return phone calls. I set up an autopay for the two pods we rented then we moved and I made sure that the billing address on my credit card moved with us. So I was getting the statements but I didn't go through line by line on recurring bills.

    A couple of months went by and all of a sudden I get this call one day from this really rude person saying my bill is overdue on my storage pods and they're about ready to auction them. He also said they were trying to reach me about it. But none of that was true because it's on an autopay and that was the first phone call I'd gotten from them. He said it was not their problem and that I was delinquent so they're going to sell my stuff. And that was pretty much my entire house contents. I flipped out and started trying to work out the details of all of it. Finally, I got a young lady who told me that their billing service had changed in January and that a large number of autopay customers got out of the system and were having a lot of this response from people. And there were late fees and all these stuff that I had no idea about because they weren't sending me any of this information.

    So I tried to escalate and go to a manager. That was like pulling teeth as they didn't want to escalate me. Then this lady who was supposedly a floor supervisor got on the phone and when I was trying to explain the situation she kept interrupting and talking over me. I told her she was being so condescending and so rude. She said I had to take it, that I was delinquent, she didn't have to treat me nice and hung up on me. Finally, I got a lady who was so kind. She explained to me that she didn't work at the call center and that she took overflow calls at her house and thank goodness I got her. I explained the whole thing to her and she was so apologetic, so nice and very pleasant. Se negated all the late charges and I paid the bill in full that day. I wasn't going to pay the bill in full with those late charges that were not my fault because their billing system caused the error.

    When we finally got our stuff, we unloaded the pods quickly. I hired movers and they pulled the pods in and put the boxes in my garage and in my house. When I started unpacking them, they were full of fiddleback spiders which were brown and gross. Every single box I opened up, two or three would come out of it and it was unnerving opening them up. I had to hire an exterminator several times to get rid of the fiddlebacks in my house which was an additional cost to me. The fiddlebacks could have been in the pods that we had or the storage facility. We didn't have them at our other house.

    I would've been cool with it if upon delivery my paperwork said "We really suggest that you set off one of those bug bombs. Open it up, set it off, let it sit for 24 hours and then unpack your stuff." I would've done that if I had known that there was a possibility that there would be pests in there because a $7 bug bomb from Lowe's would have done one pod and it would've been cheaper than the extermination fees I've been paying. Overall, I was satisfied because they did what they said they would do. They kept my stuff and none of it was broken.

    I did a long distance move with PODS. I rented a 16 footer, the largest container. It was nice because it held almost everything that we needed. They delivered to my home in Rhode Island and then delivered down to Venice, Florida. I did the whole thing within a month. I chose PODS for their great ratings and I liked the fact that we could pack it ourselves and we had control over that. I booked over the phone. It’s easier to explain and we can make it to our particular needs. They were very helpful doing that. I had to change a few things and they were very good about amending that, and then I had interaction with the drivers who are excellent. When the drivers said they’re coming this time frame, they hit it on the mark. And they usually called when they were 10 or 15 minutes out.

    Everybody was pretty great about explaining the timeframe I needed to give once it was picked up before it could be delivered in Venice. Only problem was they do not let you know until late in the afternoon of the day before the delivery. So if our delivery, in our case, was on Tuesday I didn’t know until early Monday evening the approximate timeframe they're coming on Tuesday. I set up independent movers to come and help us unload the big things, and it was hard to do because I didn’t have the timeframe enough to really work with to book them and you're supposed to book them 24 hours in advance. A little advanced notice would be helpful and I’m sure I’m not the first person that is trying to get independent movers to help them unload. As we get older, we unfortunately need this kind of help.

    The other issue I had was in Venice, I could only keep the PODS for 24 hours so I was really under the gun that I needed to get it unloaded asap. But everything lined up as it was supposed to. I had independent movers who were very flexible so they were able to actually move up when they were coming to see us so it worked out very well. Hiring independent moving men is sometimes a little bit of a stickler in trying to organize but it came together seamlessly so I have nothing but the highest praise.

    If I have another long move I would never think of anything else but doing it this way. I've moved several times and they were always horrible experiences. This was really nice and the container was in great shape. I was very happy. Everybody was super professional. More people will probably use PODS because I haven’t heard a bad comment from anyone who’s used them so it’s great. But they need to be better at advertising that you need to do your move as far in advance as you possibly can because there tends to be a shortage this time of year where people are moving South. I booked a year in advance and thought I was crazy to do it then but they told me it gets really busy. Once you got your reservation, you can always change it which is wonderful, but that whole situation was one thing I was new to. But it was nice that it was explained that way. A number of people I spoke with were very good about giving me that information and advice.

    I wanted to put my furniture in the POD instead of getting a moving company to bring it, put in their truck, then drop it off, and then put it back on the truck, and then move out.     We were moving from one location to another, and needed moving and storage. I checked around and a friend of mine used PODS, and she was happy with them. That made me decide to go with them. I got two containers that were the perfect size for what we needed.

    However, I had some issues. They were supposed to deliver the POD a certain day. It was in the system, but then all of a sudden, it wasn't, and they weren't going to be able to deliver it that day. That was going to make me have to pay for another month, and that was not our agreement.

    But they were able to get it dropped off when I needed it, and everything worked out great. And everybody I talked to was wonderful.     I've heard positive things from other people that I know who are discriminating and they were happy with their PODS experience. So I thought based upon that, and the price of a PODS type of move versus a more traditional one, it seemed like the route to take. I commenced the process by speaking with someone 'cause I wasn't exactly comfortable with being able to assess online what my needs or what the PODS sizes and things would be. The reps whom I spoke with were fine. In some respects it was a bit confusing because I originally asked about pricing of two PODS and then felt like I could get it done with just the one large size, but had to go back where we ordered a second POD. So any kind of confusion on that end was more of my doing than anything else simply because I tried to get it done with one and I couldn't do it.

    All around was perfect. If anything, when they dropped the stuff off and picked them up, they were earlier than late. We were flying into our South Carolina home the day that they were both being delivered. And when we finally got to the house, they were both sitting there on the driveway. If I had one minor criticism it would be when I did business with PODS and then from that point forward, I keep getting these pop-ups on my computer on how I can save money with a PODS move by this coupon.     I booked a POD online and then I registered at the PODS website and used it to monitor and track the whole process which went very well. We dealt with their folks in Florida and all of our interaction was through the corporate office since we moved from Ohio to California. Then they handed us off to the local office who delivered the POD and things got a lot better and clearer so there was a lot less confusion. We contacted the central office when we moved to California and we were back to confusion again. But then things straightened out when we hooked up with the local office in California. It was a very difficult move but it was a very pleasant experience working with Rose, Al, and a couple of other people. I'd like to interact with them again if I'd do it all over. The customer service rep was very informative and thorough. There was confusion, however, on the website when I went to go understand what I had paid. When I called to make some scheduling changes, there were some issues with billing.     My PODS experience was positive. I called and spoke with representatives of a couple of places and thought PODS had more experience in what I wanted to do. The representative sold me on that. I had the sense that the guy knew what he was talking about. I asked a number of questions and the company answered everything.

    There were only three sizes available and the difference in price is not that much so I went with the large one which was the right size, so we were able to take more things than we originally planned. We filled it up well and they moved it from Wisconsin to Florida. And they dropped it off at our house in the first place exactly on the day of the appointment. So everything went smoothly. And then when it was empty, they picked it up when they said they were going to as well. The drivers were courteous and answered my questions when they got there. And they moved the pod a long way without any real damage even though I packed it myself. There was quite a bit of furniture so that's a big deal. If I were doing this again, I would choose PODS for the same thing.

I am having hard time dealing with these employees and later Supervisors wasting 3-5 hrs each days since few weeks and placing wrong orders and wrong debit card expiration and not changing Long Distance order after canceling and still delivering local POD and after adjusting Local POD to long distance and Sup putting on hold, not showing up yesterday 11/15 and PODS container getting picked up today morning even after my email to the owner without any response from him.

    Story start from here -- In June I had issue with local POD in Richmond charging me $600 plus having issue with my bank calling millions of times to fix and got my funds back. Few weeks back I set up account for N VA to move with 3 months deal and employee set up locally with 12 ft container with wrong debit card expiration. I got call from local office day before about card issue for local storage when it was long distance. Employee asked me to call 800 to change long distance.

    Yesterday 11/15 POD driver called me delivering 12 ft container. While asking him if it is long distance. He said no and said he will take it back. I was driving on road. I came home and saw container on parking lot further away from my spot at entrance. Local employee called me again for Debit card issue when order was cancelled yesterday. Not sure why she did not communicate or pass message to her boss.

    I called 800 # and employee hang up on me. I called back and I was on phone with Stephany over 3 hrs when I asked her at first to speak to her boss but she still wanted to continue wasting my time and without canceling local order making changes, adding lot more money to get more business when I requested to cancel previous order. She put me on hold many times to check if 12 ft can be use for long distance move. After discussion with her boss and local office they agreed to let me use 12 ft for long distance. There was issue with her quotes. Given high rates for small and big size without bundle deal. I requested manager and keep on saying not available. After over 2 hrs wasting my time spoke to her boss Maria and agree to give $100 discount, $50 each month and put me on hold and disappear for 30 min over.

    I emailed and called local office about the situation today morning to let me use 12 ft container as per Maria and local office agreement. But not heard from local office via email or call and this is the way local office treated me in last June and overcharged me $600. No delivery at all. Half an hour later at 10 am their driver came to pick up POD. I told him that POD supposed to be move close by at entrance as new order was placed last night. He keep on saying to call 800 # to order again. Since 11 am till 3:15 today on 11/16 I been talking nonstop with 855 PODs and issue was not resolved and going back reading fake comments what was posted there.

    I spoke to Ms Tania ** all day and not listening but over talking on my face quoting me price saying no notes from Stephany and Maria and refused to give me any discount nor giving me 12 ft price for 16 ft including $100 discount quoted yesterday by Maria. Also she said I DO NOT HAVE NO RIGHTS TO SPEAK TO HER BOSS AT ALL. That was really rude thinking I am an idiot and will not pursue further. She hang up finally. I am moving out from here on 11/30, not found movers yet or can say no time as I been wasting my whole time with PODS last few weeks, no result yet. I have not started packing yet and all alone to do everything plus PODS not co-operating and messing up my orders always. I called Resolution dept today twice and left message for Kyle at **, but not heard yet.

    We used PODS for a cross-country move and then storage at the destination. I got two of their 16-ft pods. The cost was about a third of what using traditional movers would be so that was a huge incentive. But they had a huge number of negative reviews that had me very concerned about, especially billing. A lot of people claimed that there were charges they had never been told about and that their credit cards were repeatedly charged without their permission.

    I booked them over the phone since online booking cannot be done for cross-country moves. The representatives were all really helpful, but because our move was so complicated, I had to call back repeatedly. Also, because of their negative reviews, I was very apprehensive about using their service and I think it actually caused me to call them more times than I would have had I seen good reviews and trusted them going in. I kept wanting to understand every single charge that I was going to have to pay and when and why. In the end though, I think their billing system was fair and honest. But it's so complicated for a big move like mine that it just created even more suspicion on top of the reviews I had read.

    Nevertheless, their people were all really patient. They put the containers where they were supposed to. I didn't have any complaints at all. The drivers were great. My only recommendation for improvement would be on how they lay out their billing on complicated moves. They don't make it easy to see where you're getting a discount because you have a second pod. Also our credit card would be charged and it was never the same amount. It never seemed to be on dates that were consistent. For instance, I got charged with something from June which came through in August, so it looked like I was being overcharged. But when I pulled out all three of my credit card bills and I went over it with one of the PODS representatives, in the end, I actually paid exactly what I was supposed to pay. But I couldn't figure it out by myself and I think that is a problem.

    I suspect some of those negative reviews that I read were from people who couldn't figure out the charges. In reality the charges may have been correct, but it's portrayed in a way that one feels like PODS is trying to rip them off. I have a feeling that they're getting a bad rep from being dishonest from their not being dishonest. They just have a billing system that's confusing to the consumer.

    It was helpful at our age and stage in life not to move as we normally have doing it all ourselves. We were moving from Connecticut to Florida and booked with PODS over the phone. For the most part, I had a very helpful interaction with their rep though there could've been more clarity with the calling of the different schedulings and payment plans. I wish I had the same person, a consultant, to talk to. That would be very helpful if somebody could be assigned to my case. It would've been nice if that particular thing didn't happen with better communication.

    My advice is: Don't do it. I placed my stuff in storage over a year ago. The company was great selling me their product including long term storage. The problems I have encountered is accessing the containers now. I moved 600 miles and cannot afford to relocate the containers. For over a year, I have called to schedule access to the containers. I prefer to access on holiday weekends (more time to travel and less time off work). Every time that I call I am always told that the container location will be closed (usually for 2 to 3 days) and I can't get to the pods. My experience - PODS definitely doesn't make long term storage a good option. For moving they're a good cheap option over a moving company but long term storage - stay far away from that mess.

The only issue I had is when I scheduled it to come up and be delivered, they did it on a Sunday which I was absolutely thrilled about because I was going to be home. And then it didn’t show and no one called me. So when I called Monday morning, they said they don’t deliver on a Sunday.     I needed one of the little PODS units to put my furniture in while I renovated my house. I’m pretty much decided for the size I needed and that’s the way I went by. It was about 12 by 20 and I filled it up with six inches left in it so it’s perfect. I like both of the drivers. They were nice, friendly guys and we got along well. There’s only one thing I wish they would figure out a little better way which is to latch the door because it was tough to get it locked. The little 'slidy' thing wouldn’t slide right. It was tough and old people wouldn’t be able do it. I got it done but I'm right on the edge of being an old person myself. Still, it was very pleasant, I expected what I got, and it was really good. I didn’t have any problems and I plan on using them again if I ever need them.

    If I could put two in front of my house I would’ve put two but I only had room for one. I got the biggest container 18'. I wish it was a little bit bigger but everything went fine. They came back when the door get jammed and helped me open it. I'd recommend PODS to anybody. I’m always telling friends not to get a truck and to get a POD because it can sit in front of their house for four, five or six days. It’s something that anyone can drop off for as long as they want it to be dropped off in front of their house, to load as fast or as slow as they can or possibly can do. It’s a really good way to move. I’d used them before when they first started years ago.

    When I booked PODS over the phone for moving, they helped me with the size of the container. I checked it online and then I called them. I ended up with a 16 foot container, which I loaded and unloaded twice, experimented for more than four tries and finally packed it like a can of sardines. Their drivers called before they showed up and they were real nice and professional. Everything was great.

    In June 2016, I arranged for three PODs for delivery of my household effects from Arlington, TX to Las Vegas, NV. The PODs were scheduled to be delivered, one at a time, allocating time between PODs for packing, and delivery of the next POD. After two PODs, were delivered, packed, and returned to their storage area, I called the company to request a smaller POD. The agent I spoke to seemed kind of "flakey" as we spoke, and then when the POD was delivered, it was the wrong size. I refused the delivery of that POD. They delivered the size I ordered the next day or so.

    We moved to Las Vegas, rented an apartment for three months while we searched for a home suitable for our needs. We found one, moved in, and arranged for two PODs to be delivered. They were delivered as requested on October 14th. We unpacked the PODs, and arranged for them to be returned. On October 17th, I called to request delivery of my third POD. To my amazement, I was told that this POD was still in their Fort Worth, TX storage area. Somehow, somebody goofed. I was told that the earliest that this POD, in Fort Worth, TX could be scheduled for delivery to Las Vegas, NV would be October 22nd, five days hence. Then it would take around eight more days for it to be delivered to my residence.

    I had planned for the removal of the carpets because my wife is allergic to carpets. I also wanted to tile the floors, and repaint the inside of the house. Because of the delay of the last POD, we were living day to day with two folding chairs, and eating on TV trays. I was very disturbed about this goof-up, and wrote to the President and Chief Executive Office of PODS Enterprises, Inc., Mr. John B. Koch about the breakdown of communication with regard to my third POD, and asked for his assistance to expedite the transfer of the lost POD. I felt that compensation for the inconveniences, the disruption of my remodeling plans, and time lost would be appropriate also.

    I received delivery of the third POD on October 28th - eleven days after I made my delivery request. While waiting for the third POD, all my plans were on hold. I received a call from Lorraine **, Executive Resolution Specialist, and we discussed appropriate compensation. She proposed a settlement of $450 to compensate for the company's mishandling of the third POD. My POD charges amounted to about $10,000 so I told her that I felt $2,000 would be better - $200 per day penalty for my time lost and inconveniences. She said she would check.

    Several days after, we talked again on the telephone. She offered $600 as a settlement. I told her that I did not feel that this was not appropriate, and declined. If I accepted the settlement offer, then I would have to sign a release, and absolvement from further claims. Regarding their statements and charges, it is complicated to the layman to comprehend. I have read other POD criticisms about overcharging. You almost have to be a CPA. If I move again, I will not use POD Enterprises.

    I got a 12-foot pod plus storage and then delivery service from PODS once we were ready to pick the furniture. I like the convenience of being able to load the furniture myself and have it stored and then delivered to where I needed it to be delivered. The driver that picked up my container at my original location ran over a really nice, old sago palm, at a house that I was still in but apparently the new owner didn't mind that. Other than that, it was a great moving experience.

    We used PODS because they could drop the pod off and I could fill it up then they'd pick it up and drop it off where I was moving. At that time, I got the promotional that shows no fees for pick-up and delivery and with pick-up again, which was much better than what I saw on the self-storage or a storage facility, so I took advantage of it. We recommended PODS to one of our close friends that was also moving at that time, and they took advantage of it as well.

    The phone rep was very informative, gave me a lot of options, and explained the benefit of a POD. There was a bit of confusion however in how I wanted the POD delivered. I thought it can be just turned around but the driver said it had to be predetermined when they pick up the POD to be delivered because it's not easy to swing it around to face the other way. But apart from that, it was nice overall. I like how PODS is convenient. Storage facility is not too far from where we're moving. It's pretty much in between where we're at to where we're moving, so it wasn't that bad. I kept one storage unit for four months. It was a 16 by 8, which was too small for what I need. I could've gotten another one but decided not to.

    We wanted to sell our home so wanted to get some furniture out of there to stage it and PODS was the best, most secure and easiest option. I looked at booking online, but ended up booking over the phone. We were being a little cautious so we wanted the container a little bigger. The container is a free option, it's a big white container, and had a blue door with the PODS on the side. It came very clean, which is nice. However, all I see is the sign was falling off on the side, but it's not a big deal. The driver just came and picked up the container and the drop off was with some very nice, friendly and helpful guys.

    I needed moving and brief storage services and I went with PODS since I wanted to give them a try versus a regular moving service. I booked online, and it was easy to understand. I used a combination of the containers - the big one and then the half size. However, I underestimated it. I then called the customer service center for the additional PODS I needed and the reps were very professional, courteous, and helpful. I was able to get the correct size for my needs in the end. I would highly recommend PODS to anyone moving.
