I called PODS and the price was decent so I went with them. I booked online and then I called because we had to move several hundreds of miles away. The rep was very helpful and we would've gotten a different size of the container if I had not forgotten about the garage. Still, the container was all good, and the drivers were wonderful. They picked up the container and stored it, then when we moved and the house finally closed down, they brought the container down to us.

We were doing a big move and had two 16-foot pods. Everything that PODS did was outstanding. I couldn't have worked with a better company. We packed our things and had to put them in storage for about a month and a half until we closed on our new home and the closing on our new home kept changing, so I kept calling PODS and nobody ever complained. Everybody was accommodating and they helped us out. The drivers that came were all outstanding. I was so glad I went with them. It was a very professional operation. We dealt with PODS in two different states because we moved out-of-state. And both ends, they were great. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

I moved from Hawaii to Utah, and I wasn't sure how many PODS I needed, so I had two of the larger, 16-foot containers brought in. They put one container in the backyard and the other one in the front yard. However, when I got ready, I only filled one container because the people that bought our home bought all our furniture. Then the PODS guys came and got the unused container. It's worked that good. I knew I had to have the hauling and pay somebody. In fact, they charged me for hauling, but I didn't have to pay any penalties, and that was really good of them. The drivers only phoned for a short time, but they seemed to be very good, friendly, and professional. I've already recommended PODS to three people.

I called PODS and told them when I wanted the container and where it would be picked up. But it got screwed up and they didn’t pick it up. Their computer had gone down, and my order came out of the system. Then it said I canceled it. They said I had ordered two pods, which I hadn’t. And the man who dropped off the original pod called me and he said, “Do you have two pods?” And I said, “No.” And he goes, “You better call them.” So I called PODS and they fixed it. They found a glitch and straightened it out. They were a week late picking it up and it was kind of an inconvenience, but they were good to me. They got here when they said they were coming. The guy that picked it up was great. He was friendly, cooperative and answered questions, if I had any. He was really nice.

Over a year ago, I got containers for storage from PODS and booked them online. It was pretty simple and easy to navigate the website. I got two containers, a large one and a smaller one. I could've used two large ones instead of the small and large. I underestimated the amount of space I needed. But everything was good. The pods weren't leaking and were not damaged. One gentleman called for directions, the driver asked me where to put the containers. I showed him where to put them, and he dropped them right there. Everybody was pleasant.

Six months ago, we availed of PODS' moving and storage services. We chose them primarily because we had a bad experience before when things went into storage with a regular mover. You do a double move and things get broken and lost. There was also some price advantage with PODS. I booked with them over the phone and had some follow-up too. We talked with their reps, described what we had, and got an estimate of what it would take which was two 16-foot containers. We also went and used the PODS website to find someone to help us pack both the containers.

Do not use PODS. I was just contacted by pods after 14 months of using them and they sent me to collections and are trying to ruin my credit, I paid 2700 dollars for one pod rental with out of state delivery. Everything was included in my contract, including the re delivery fee that I paid all up front. I called corporate and they told me I was correct and that they were having a computer glitch and they apologized. Now 14 months later, they send me to collections for their mistake, I disputed these charges with my bank 14 months ago, and my bank gave me the money back.

I used PODS' storage services. I booked online and their website was easy to navigate. The drivers who picked up the container were all very nice. My first time using them was a year and a half ago, and they didn't make it really clear that, at the time, I had to pay for a return fee. They charged me when I ordered the pod and they delivered it. And then, they charged me again when they picked it up. I really wasn't aware of that. So, I was shocked when they did that. This time, I knew it was going to happen, and I saw it on the internet, as well. Overall, my experience has been very easy.

With PODS, we'd get what they said we'd get when they said we'd get it. We felt that the quality of service would be good, and it was. We transacted over the phone and their rep was very helpful and informative. The container we got was very sturdy, clean, and in excellent condition. Also, the driver explained everything about it and he put it exactly where we wanted it. We loaded the container with stuff in Illinois and it was transported to California. The people there unloaded what they were supposed to get and it was picked up. Everything was wonderful. It's a very helpful service and the quality was 1000%.

My experience with PODS was all right. I booked with them over the phone after looking online and getting the information. I told their representative what I needed and they did what they were supposed to do on time.

I was moving and was doing most of it myself. Then PODS offered one way and that worked out fine for me. I booked them over the phone and it was a very pleasant interaction with their reps. They were very nice with it and they took care of it on the first call. The drivers were also on time and professional. However, I wish the containers were bigger in size. But it was a good experience and I would use them again.

We went with PODS because of the convenience that they gave us in the customer service. We've used them twice in the last couple of years. We used them to go cross country in order to take some material from California to Texas. And before that, from Chicago into California. We used the 16-foot container on both occasions, and it was the correct size for our needs. We kept going back and forth to make sure we could get our things, and PODS' customer service representatives were always extremely helpful, capable and efficient. The drivers who picked up our container were extremely friendly and good to work with. They were very efficient and capable of getting things out effectively. Overall, our experience has been excellent.

We had a PODS storage unit set on site for a few months while we were doing some remodeling in our condo association. I've used PODS years ago when I was moving personally and they were convenient so I went with them again. I booked over the phone and had an excellent interaction with the representative. I already knew I wanted the 10x20 size unit and it worked out perfectly. Everything went clockwork. The guy who dropped the unit off was excellent, too. We're very happy with it. The communication was very good, PODS kept us informed, and the driver called a few minutes before he got there. Overall, it was nice to do business with a company that does what they say they'll do.

We got a pod container delivered to our house while we were installing new carpet. So, we got to empty out the house, put all the stuff out in the pod, prep the floors and have the carpet installed. We chose PODS most importantly because of the size, and then based on it, the price. A number of others had sizes that wouldn't work for us and PODS had the size that would. It was a good size. It was big enough, but not too big. I can put the furniture and get everything in there but not have that packed ridiculously overstuffed.

I really liked PODS. Everything was done accordingly and it was great. I needed storage because I don't have a vehicle to move things myself and I was looking for PODS to do all that. I made the booking over the phone as I don't like booking online because I don't think it's user-friendly. Also, I do a lot of my work, personal and business, while at work. So, it's easier and more efficient for me to call and get a live voice. I got their smallest container but I wish there was a smaller one. However, their cost is okay. Their drivers called me and told me where they were going to drop it off and where I wanted the opening to be. So, they came and picked up my things, took it to storage, and then they dropped it back off when I got into another house. Overall, it has been a positive experience. They did what they were supposed to do and it was on time.

I had rented a 16-foot container from PODS and at that time, they were pretty much the only service of that type in the area. It got packed a little bit every now and then, but it was fine. I stored my stuff in the unit and whenever I needed to get it, which wasn't very often, it was always available. At the end, I had contact with Al who's a very nice man and I enjoyed interacting with him quite a bit. I have and I would recommend PODS if anybody asked.

When we moved down there, my husband's company paid for the move and so went to a big moving company. Then, when we moved back, we didn't want to have that experience again. PODS is the only name we knew because we heard about them before so we booked a pod. My husband called and got the quote and then we booked over the phone. We had to change dates at one point and that was smooth. The communication was really good. They moved our things from Florida to Tennessee and stored them as well. The pods themselves were good. Plus it's half the cost. Overall, they went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything that we needed.

I booked the quote with PODS online but I booked the actual service through the phone. The people I spoke with were great. When we had it delivered, it was a pretty tight spot and the drivers did an excellent job. They were timely and efficient. I was very pleased with the service, and I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

We rented pods for a move that includes picking them up with a switch-out between days. I needed three pods and could only fit one at a time at my destination where we left, and I could only do two at a time at the destination that we were moving to, but I had three big pods. I would have preferred at one point to have had a horizontal rod at the back of the pod, to be able to hang things instead of side by side. I understand why PODS does it side to side length-wise in the pod, but that made it difficult to fill the pods because we needed to hang stuff and it was very difficult tacking the pods with stuff on the hanging rods that they had. It would have been much better to have had them crosswise, instead of length-wise. That cost me some room in the pods and we ended up having to throw away furniture, exercise equipment, and memorabilia in the end because we didn't have any more room in there and had to be out of our house.

We live in Pennsylvania and we were moving to Arizona. We did a lot of research and PODS was the cheaper of the companies. Everyone was very courteous and polite. Their rep who I talked to was very friendly. I told her how much I had and she said, "You're better off going to Vegas with the one you have.” They call up before they drop off or pick up the pod and they're careful where they're placing the pod. They packed it tight and nothing moved nor broken. It looked the same way as they packed it when we opened up the door when we got out here. In addition, the drivers were very professional and I've been telling people about PODS. It's a very good company.

We were cleaning out the house so we could sell it. I've seen PODS around and I thought this would be the way to do it. My real estate agent also suggested it. I booked online and there was an online sales chat and they guided me through the process. It was fairly intuitive and fairly easy just to do it. And everything else I did was online as far as delivering it back to me and picking it up.

I liked the idea of a POD being delivered in my backyard and going from there so I booked with PODS for storage while I was getting some work done in my garage. My interactions with their representative and the carrier that delivered the POD were good.

They were responsive, answered all my questions, and was easy. Also, their 12-foot container is perfect for what I needed. I left it in my driveway and stored some things and then they came and picked it up. The driver was very helpful and did a great job parking it.

They're exceptional, very good, helpful, and answered all of my questions. I got four of the larger containers although I had originally started up with three and a small one. I thought I could get the seven foot unit from PODS and it turned out that the pricing was within the moving allowance I had been given. Then I realized they needed the larger size, and I ended up going the whole thing. I found my place the first day, so I had to wait for the pod and I was in the house with no furniture for a week. Otherwise, every part of the service was nice. Everything always came on time and they always did the automatic notifications the night before. Whenever I had billing questions with the paperwork and reimbursements, the people there could help me. Overall I'd recommend them except where people were pinching pennies. I had to hire freelancers to help me at each end and it was ridiculous.

I got storage from PODS and they were great. It was sweet when I booked my PODS online. Everybody took care of everything I needed. I ordered the big, 15 x 8 container. It was the perfect size and seemed sturdy. However, the locking mechanism was difficult to use for some of my employees. They just didn't know how to squeeze it. But after I showed them, they were like, "Well, duh." The delivery service and the pickup were awesome. The PODS guys were right on time and it was nice. It was a good experience.

I had a great experience with PODS before and they were cheaper than U-Haul. When we moved originally, we had to have them come and move the pod in our apartment complex. They were quick to do that and were apologetic because they didn't get it in the right place. Having used them before, I decided to use their 16-foot pod for moving and so I booked it online.

With PODS, we had control and the ability to pack it ourselves. Also, PODS was the most well-known of these modular storage companies so we went there first and we liked it. The initial work was done online but because I was doing long-distance move, I had to finish it on the phone. The website is about 8 out of 10 as far as navigation was concerned. There were a few things where it wasn't 100% intuitive. I was looking for payment details and it was buried somewhere that I didn't expect. At some point, there was a message that came up that said to continue to invoice. I had to call in with a certain order number but other than that, it was fine. The rep was very helpful. It took about 15 minutes and that was it. They gave some guidance on the container size that we need but what we originally got was too small. But, it was easy to get a second pod ordered and ready to go.

We moved from Florida to Texas. The PODS representative was wonderful. He answered all my questions and made it real easy. The container that I got was clean, sturdy and it worked out perfectly. The driver in Texas that dropped the pod off and then came back and picked it up when it was empty, went out of his way to be helpful and friendly. My husband has stage four lung cancer, and that gentleman out in Texas was just awesome about the whole thing and made things convenient for us based on my husband’s care. The whole thing was effortless and pleasurable.

We used a PODS container to move our belongings from Illinois down to Florida. It worked out best for our situation and we could have the container for a few days. We got it on a Wednesday, had professional packers in to pack our stuff on the Friday, and it wasn't picked up until the Monday. So we had the weekend to get the house cleaned out and be able to put cleaning supplies and vacuums and different things in.

I used PODS once and they made the delivery when we set the time and the date. They made the pick up on the time and date that they said they were going be in. And they contacted me on the phone and let me know when they were gonna be there. Everything was fine. The people did a great job putting it on my premises and they did a good job as taking it. As a matter of fact, it was probably easier taking it off than putting it on. I would recommend PODS to anybody.

I knew I probably needed a 16 footer pod so I did that and placed the delivery day. The container was clean, sturdy, and didn't have any holes. Everything was great. I told them I wasn't there but they had the idea of how I want it placed and they did that and everything worked out just as planned so it was very smooth. I had heard good things about PODS. It was a familiar name to me and since I was going such a great distance from the east coast to the west coast I thought it was the most cost-effective way to do it. So, I rented a pod from them in North Carolina and then filled it myself. I had it shipped to the ztate of Oregon and stored at their facility in Wilsonville, Oregon until I found a place to go. I used the online and over the phone booking because I had to talk to somebody about dates and the cost. One time, I had to access my pod and I did that online and it's a pretty good system. I also talked to a rep and that went fine. They did what they said they were gonna do with the exception of the billing. I was under the impression that the billing was going to be in a three step process however it all just dropped at once. So that was a little bit disconcerting but it wasn't a problem.

Getting PODS for moving and storage services was easier than renting a truck. I booked online and got a 16-foot container which was clean and sturdy and the drivers who picked up the containers were very professional as well.

I moved from one place to another and used PODS. I talked to the POD man who came and got my stuff and did all the delivery. He was on time and everything went fine. However, I never had a follow-up call from them and I thought they offered discount since I was a returning customer. That's the only thing I was pissed off about, but I had a good experience with them.

I liked the ability to have a unit outside and take my time and do everything I needed to do. I booked online with PODS and the process was simple. However, the prices kept changing every hour, which is strange. But other than that, it was fine. They picked up my goods, moved and stored them at their location, and then two weeks later I lived in my new place and they brought the goods. They did a great job and I was really impressed.

I was moving from across the Midwest and used PODS to deliver my furniture because of the convenience. I booked them online and requested for the small container since I didn't have a lot of furniture. Also, the container was clean and presentable. I had a positive experience all the way around. I used the containers for a combination of moving and storage and I booked them two different times because I ran out of space. And I felt that my items were going to be safe in them. The rep I talked to was good and the website was very easy to use. PODS brought the pod, I filled it up, and they moved it to my new location. The experience was fine and I got what I ordered. I initially did the booking over the phone and then I communicated with them online. They were able to answer my questions and helped in choosing my container size. The driver was also very courteous and showed up on time.

I rented a pod while construction was going on in my home. After a month we went to move back in and found water in the POD. Many items were ruined included a sideboard I inherited from my mother. The movers and us found a hole on top of the POD. We reported the problem to POD on January 24th. I have yet to hear on my claim. They were very quick to ask for money. I will never use POD again and recommend if you must use them inspect the whole pod before accepting and storing your valuables.

We were moving from Maryland to Oregon and PODS worked really well for us by being able to load one pod and send it out, and load another then send it out. It wasn't storage but stretched out moving. So, instead of having everything ready to load into a moving van in one day, we were able to load it at our convenience. We stretched it out and it worked really good. We got two 16 ft and that was perfect. All the drivers, the pick-up and drop off people were all great, very personable and helpful. Since we're stretched out, we flew to Oregon and waited for the second pod. I needed to reschedule and some gal I talked to on the phone said all the words that she had done but did not hit the 'do it' button. She didn't really reschedule it.

I got PODS for moving and storage because of convenience. I got a quote online and I was able to get a lot of information but when it came right down to getting the job done and what have they, I really didn't feel that online was enough information. So, by the time I was ready to actually place my order, I booked on the phone. The gaI I talked to directly when I initially booked was very, very helpful, informative and efficient. I got the largest container, the 16-foot, and it worked out real well. The container was clean and watertight which was pretty important to me because I had it for a number months during rainy season.

It was convenient. I didn't have to move my things twice. I could move it into pods, store it, and then move it out when I'm done. The drivers were all professional. The whole experience is good. I got a size 16 container and it worked out perfect.

I had a container dropped off at a location in Florida because I was moving some stuff to my home in Wisconsin. I booked it over the phone and the lady that took the order was very thorough. I was being very specific on dates that I needed it picked up and delivered and she went ahead and booked it with the specific dates in mind, rather than the standard, where they give a call on when one would like it delivered. I had to fly up to Wisconsin to basically meet the POD and it seemed to me that she set it up exactly the way I wanted it. That's why it worked out.

I went to where PODS' storage place is and the person who was there loading up pods said that I can't order from there and that I had to do it online. There's pods and people everywhere but were only going in and out and they had no interaction at the center. There was a phone number on the door, so I called them. The PODS people were fine. They delivered and picked the pod up when they said they would. I took my furniture from the house, put it in PODS, did a remodeling and then moved the furniture back in. The twelve-footer that I got was the correct size and the driver who picked it up was nice. He dropped it off, put it where we wanted it and went on his way. The experience went smoothly.

Because I thought it was a good deal, I rented a pod from PODS, and I had it moved from my house in New York to my house in Florida. I booked it online, got an estimate, and then they told me to call. The whole experience with the representatives was great. The drivers gave me a window and they came within that window. They came within two days and took it. And then, it took them two weeks to move it. Going with PODS was cheaper and easier than renting a U-Haul to drive down myself. In fact, the final amount was a little less than what they had originally quoted me.

My friends used PODS and I asked them about getting it. I booked over the phone and the reps were able to help me with all my questions about their pricing, establishing dates, the requirements for having a pod and what happens with delivery and pickup, and logistics as we were going cross country. Whenever I had to make changes, I did it on their website, which was easy to navigate. The driver was very friendly and we had to have it picked up more than one time. They got right to work and knew exactly what they were doing. They checked to make sure it was loaded correctly on the driveway and situated right, so there was no damage to anything. It was very professionally done and a great experience. I would definitely use them again.

I had a great experience with PODS, no problems at all. They’ve done everything they said they were going to do and everything came out great. The people I talked to on the phone were very pleasant. They got what I needed to do and when I ask for something, they would call us up and tell me about what was going on with that. I had a seven-footer POD in order to get stuff out of my basement and get the house ready for sale. I didn’t need anything any bigger for what I was storing and something definitely smaller would never work. So I had to have it delivered and then they picked it up and stored it for me until we were ready to move. Then when we got ready to move, I ordered a 16-footer and they brought it and I finished loading it. I had enough area in that to put the rest of my furniture. I had a three-bedroom house with a lot of stuff.

I had a good experience with PODS. With them, I had more control over my time frame and it was like a one-stop shop. I booked online and didn't have any problems. The reps were good and the drivers were on time. I'd use them again.

We booked a 7-foot container with PODS and they stored the container for us. The online booking, as well as the container, was fine. We liked the availability of PODS. It's all been fine with the Customer Service, too. I had to contact them and the rep solved the problem I had. In addition, the driver was good. He was concerned about the tree branches but was able to make things work with the unit.

I started online with PODS originally and then had to call in because of dates changing, and it was an overall good transaction. They find out the parameters of everything and would get them for my dates. Plus the container I got was clean and everything fit in there. There was a mix up because the drivers showed up to pick up a pod that wasn’t there. They ended up turning back around, going back and showing up with the pod, so they got it worked out and within the same day.

We needed a pod dropped off and moved from Northern Jersey to East Tennessee. I picked PODS because the driveway at my mother's house where we were picking up in New Jersey is very narrow. I was not at all convinced that I could have gotten a half trailer in there, so closed quarters on the shipping end was a big consideration for me. The driver in New Jersey was fantastic. He called when he was about an hour out so I knew exactly when he was gonna be there. And I was super nosy about how the podzilla thing works. I went out and watched him do the whole drop off thing. And he was very helpful and very friendly about explaining how everything worked. He was also very mindful. He didn't drive over the cobblestone edge of my mom's driveway. He was very careful to not damage anything.

I’ve used PODS before when I moved from another town and they're fantastic. Booking with them online was very convenient and the drivers were absolutely awesome. Recently I had a pod for a couple of months. They didn’t have the 16 feet container and it was a scenario that didn’t play out very well. I only got the pod because I was ordered to do it. I had an inspection when the house was sold and the pod was what was in the garage. When I realized that I was gonna have to have more than one pod and I didn’t have a place to go to put the pod, I decided to go another route. When you add rental cost plus two or three pods then you’re gonna get into some money. Other than that, it's very efficient overall.

When I was moving, I hired PODS for the convenience of their service. I booked over the phone for pick-up and delivery, and everything worked out fine. I got the small, 7-foot pod. Their driver was friendly and they were very good at telling me when they were coming. The people at PODS did what they said they were going to do and they did it in a timely fashion.

PODS is the only moving and storage company I know of because I see them on people's properties a lot. When I needed a small storage unit, I booked with them online which was a very easy process. I got their smallest pod for my closet and it was perfect. Both the drivers during the pickup and the delivery were fine too. It was a very positive experience all around and I would definitely use PODS again in the future if I need to.

I needed PODS's moving and storing services when I was going long distance. I did the booking online and it was self-explanatory. Their site was easy to navigate. Their reps were also very good and friendly, and recommended the size of the container for me which I followed. I also had a million questions and they were able to answer them. However, I did have a problem once the container was back to its final destination. Everything had shifted and I couldn't get the door open. Though it took them a couple of days, the driver came back to help me open it. Hopefully I'm going to need to use PODS again soon.

We had a POD dropped off, stored, redelivered to a new location, and picked up again by PODS. I booked the service online and it was pretty easy. We got the bigger size but I wish it was bigger.

I got two large containers and it really wasn’t enough and we were running out of time because our house was sold really fast and we needed to get out of there. So we wound up moving some of our furniture over to our realtor’s house that was nearby. If I had a genie granting wishes, I would have the large POD be a little larger. I got the 16 feet and 18 or 19 would have been better. But the containers were well made and the method of moving the containers was well thought out, and drivers of the trucks that picked up and delivered the containers seem well trained and professional.

PODS was first-class. I chose them for their reputation and they did a cross-country move for me from Alabama to Florida. I got their largest container and it worked out fine but I could've used one a little bit bigger. Nevertheless, I had an unbelievably good experience all the way through the whole project. They charged me exactly what they said they were gonna do and they did exactly what they said. They were on time, too. The people who delivered the containers were very congenial and very polite. They made sure that they got it exactly where I wanted it. And the same way when they delivered it - it was outstanding. I also had to call and change a delivery date once and they worked with me. I don't have any complaints at all. I would recommend them to family or anybody.

PODS was much cheaper than a regular moving truck, or even if I hauled it down myself. If I rented a U-Haul and drove it for 1,100 miles towing a car, PODS would cost the same without the insurance, paying for gas and me driving for 2 days towing a car. So I got an 8x16 container which they had to pick up and move to Florida from Jersey.

I called PODS and spoke to somebody and scheduled. Their rep gave me all the breakdowns in prices and a lot of different options because I didn’t know where to start. He helped me with what size of pod I needed so that was right on the money. It wasn’t too big or small. He also recommended that I hire a crew and I ended up using those guys and they were great. He also worked with me to schedule pick-up on the same day, which he said was difficult sometimes but he was able to work that out. The rep was really helpful and the process was very easy. The driver was amazing during pick up and drop off. I went from California to Texas and they dropped off at my house, I made the schedule for the three-day notice and they came and picked up the items, and it was easy to pack.

When we moved stuff out the first time, I rented a truck and that was a pain in the neck. Using PODS was a lot easier. We were moving from Chicago to Post Falls, Idaho and we just loaded our stuff up and had PODS deliver it. It cost almost the same amount considering the expenses for gas, hotel, etc so it was very competitively priced. I booked with them online and it went smoothly. We filled everything out and they called me to verify some of the information. The driver was very nice and very helpful. He told me how to pack it to make it a better load. Also, they came out when they said they would for the pickup. Then they delivered our container on time and put it exactly where we wanted it. They were very efficient and very professional, and everything worked out perfectly for us. PODS is great to do business with and I might be using them again.

PODS helped me to move all my stuff across the country and they were great. They were the most practical and affordable thing that I found. I liked their price and reviews, too. I booked over the phone and their rep was wonderful. She talked me through the entire process and made it as easy as it possibly could be. The drivers who did the pick up were great. They came exactly when they told me. They were quick and efficient, and super friendly.

We got a container from PODS for both moving and storage because of brand recognition. I did not want to rent a storage garage somewhere that was fixed in place and pay somebody to move all my stuff out of my house into that, and then have to pay the same to get my stuff delivered to me. PODS offered the service that I needed and the container was dropped off to our old house but when we got it, we had not yet purchased a new home so it was in storage for about a month and then delivered to our new house.

This company is ridiculous. I rented two pods storage in July. I paid my bill every single month. When it came time for a 200 mile move in January, Pods needed a weeks advance notice and my Pods were both delivered a day later than scheduled. I was charged well over $2000 for this service and was told that the Pods fees would be pro rated and would stop upon pick up. We unloaded the pods the day they were delivered and I called to schedule a pick up and they had to have two days notice to come back and pick up the empty containers. They charged me to drop off containers in both locations and pick up in both locations, plus $99 for each empty pod to be picked up and when I called to schedule both pick ups, the customer service agent only scheduled for one of my Pods containers to be picked up. I had to wait another two days for them to pick up my second pod.

We had used PODS before and got their moving services again for my sister. I booked with them online and their rep helped me, but then I had to do it over the phone for the pickup because the online carriers weren't working. I'd be using PODS again.

We moved from Baltimore to Florida and PODS called and showed up when they said they would. It was great that the pod was here when they said it was going to be. So, it was a wonderful experience. I interacted with the people who picked up and dropped the pod off and both were very nice and knowledgeable. The pod was dropped off before we even got to Florida so it was nice that we didn’t have to be there when they dropped it off. I would use PODS again and would recommend them as well.

We were building a house and we moved. We sold our house a lot quicker than we thought and so we needed a place to store all of our stuff and that was the easiest thing. PODS was cheaper than renting local storage facilities and it worked out great. I was careful in all of our furniture because it’s not climate controlled so I used furniture wrap and everything stayed fine.

I hired PODS to bring a container, deliver it to a certain location, and keep it there for about 3 months during a remodel. I went to their website, put in my zip code, selected the size that was appropriate for my needs from the several sizes that they got, and I got a delivery date and a timeframe. The driver who picked up the container was friendly and polite. I called the customer service to see if they needed me there when the pod would be delivered and they said no. Then I called them back when it was time to pick up the pod and they set a date. Both calls were fine.

PODS insurance is NOT recommended based on my personal experience. I will be very surprised if they pay anyone for anything that is happening inside the container unless the container is crushed and damaged. So why waste your money with these guys. Not worth it. ALSO, make sure you check your BILL multiple times. They charged me $611 extra and I had to call to reverse it.

I booked with PODS for storage and moving and my interaction with the driver was all good.

I thought PODS has gotta be easier than packing up a U-Haul and going across the country. PODS' reps were very helpful and gave me everything I needed as far as cost and how long I could have the POD to pack it up. I had it delivered on a Saturday and they assured me that they'd be there Monday to pick it up. My friend and I stood and watched because we were very curious to know how the whole thing works. They were friendly and accommodating until I got to Iowa.

They told me that they'd put two sizes of pods for me and when I decide within a certain amount of time which pods I want then I can let them know. So I did that and it worked out fine. It was a very good experience, I've no complaints, and I would use PODS again if I would need to move again.

I needed a little storage prior to the move and then the move was to complete it and there was storage after that. I went online and got a couple of numbers but I like to talk to people because sometimes their answer will generate another question and I like the conversation. I wound up calling and talking to PODS several times in getting everything arranged. I needed two pods total, so after the first one was loaded up, I had that in storage, and then as I worked to get my property ready and emptied out, I ordered the second pod. So in calling and talking to someone I was able to make sure they understood what I needed and they would tell me what my options were. And so it worked out better that way. PODS gave me the flexibility of the pods staying in my driveway and so I’m able to load it up and then have them pick it up and then store it for me. Then when I get ready for it to be delivered, I call them up and they deliver it.

Everything went smoothly, which rarely happens, so it's great. I had to call CS a few times with questions but they resolved everything over the phone.

I was needing storage and I saw PODS around in the neighborhood and it looked like the right size. I got a 7-foot pod and the driver did a good job. He came when he said he would deliver and pick it up. Also, I felt that my belongings were safe and it worked fine. It was a very good experience.

PODS is an easy and turnkey service. It's good to use when people are going to do something but they don't know how long they're going to use the storage. We have used them before and I got them again to store my mother's stuff since we had to move her from her house into an assisted living. The driver was a nice guy. He showed up on time both when he delivered the container and picked it up. I wasn't there when he picked it up, but when he delivered it he called and told me he was on his way and he put the container where we wanted it.

I booked pod container in Rochester NY. Everything went smoothly from scheduling, to drop off at my home to pick up and storage of the container in Greece NY. The container was due to be delivered to Virginia in a few months. When it came time for delivery in Virginia, I scheduled it out so that I could have assistance with moving heavy items, a vehicle and have the time off of work to do so. The night before delivery (4:45 pm to be exact) I received a call stating that the container would be arriving a day later. (not due to weather) After multiple calls, the effort to change things was fruitless. I placed 4 separate calls. Although everyone was polite, absolutely no one was able to give me a status as to where the truck was en route or when it may show up. I lost my reserved truck, my help and to add insult to injury, PODS charged my credit card the full move amount PLUS the storage fee for NY BEFORE I was in receipt of my items.

We've used PODS before and they were very efficient and their pricing was right too. We used them again for storage and my husband booked over the phone. We got the largest, which is the 16-foot, that would sit on my driveway. We could have gotten away with a little smaller one but we didn't know that at the time. The driver was on time and good. It was amazing to watch him put the container down. The PODS people were very polite and we had no difficulties whatsoever. Everything happened just like it was supposed to.

PODS was very good and I would recommend them. I needed a storage while we were having a house built. I went online and I heard about the discount that PODS had. I called them and booked with a gentleman. However, he wasn't able to answer why I was not able to get the discount because it said on the website that if I were over three months that I could get the discount but I it was never offered to me. They said it was in Arizona, but I found it odd because the website was the nationwide one. Also, the accounting was confusing and I had to phone a couple of times to ask them about it. But the lady that helped me out was good.

The reason this website exists is so people like me can share the truth with people who read this. There has been no service company as disastrous as PODS in over 20 years of personal and professional contracting of vendors for logistics, storage and transport. We had issues with every step of their "simple" process... Incorrect equipment to pick-up the pod (snow in the northeast was a problem); updated information on our pod (no replies or info available as promised); zero customer service skills (rep called to help us and had not even seen our contract); escalation to executive management (COO is George - useless); non-existent compensation or the courtesy of call backs (even the Presidents office ignores our repeated calls for help). The bottom line is that entrusting any personal or professional belongings to this company is a huge mistake.

I was selling my house and I want to get rid of the clutter while we're showing it, so we ordered PODS online for six months storage. The service was perfect each time. They met me, introduced me and then I showed them where I wanted it. And they were able to put it where I needed it. The first time I put it in my backyard, they were able to accommodate that and also during the second delivery to the house. They make it so you don't have to drive your rental truck away. The pod was in a very good condition. Some of the other ones were a hard side but they had extra wrap on them. The pod that I got was partitioned into four sections. So, they would have box stuff up as I packed it. I was able to pack towards the ceiling. Easy to use and I like it very much. I'd recommend them.

I used a moving company in the past moving from California to Vegas and it was very pricey so I looked into PODS. The reps got me all the information I needed and everything was accounted for when the pods arrived. However, my things had somehow shifted towards the door during transport and I had a difficult time getting the doors open. Nothing broke and I am sure the company would have probably helped me had I opened the pods while they were there but I wasn't ready until after they left. Still, that would not stop me from recommending PODS. I was very happy with the service and the ability to store things until I had a home. That's something you can't do with a moving company. With PODS, it's on your own schedule.

PODS delivered a container and it was the 12-foot size. I loaded my belongings and I still had some that didn’t fit but it was okay because they were more delicate, so I loaded them in my truck. They took it to the storage facility and were delivered to the new address.

I was trying to get PACK-RAT earlier but whenever I tried to call them to get information, I was always put on hold and had to wait hours to find somebody whereas PODS picked up right away. I booked over the phone and when I call, I get somebody and they would take care of me. I had to follow up because somebody didn’t put something in and I had to have it re-put in.

I got PODS for moving and storage service. I had a positive interaction with the rep and I got the largest size container. The container was a little bit old and leaked a little bit but it worked fine. I stored my stuff in it for about three or four months after I moved it and the roof leaked a little bit of water inside, but it didn't damage anything. Another issue was that I had some things broken because a couple of things fell. The temperature difference between Charlotte and Seattle made the plastic warp for a lot of my plastic tubs in the pod. But overall I was very happy with them. I really didn't have any issues and their customer service was phenomenal.

My wife and I decided to get a divorce, so I moved to Florida, and she moved to Washington, D.C. In the divorce, I got the house. I left first; she left second, so it wasn't a full house move. My wife took a couple of things but there were things that I wanted to keep. And since I'm in an apartment down here, I didn't have any place to deal with it. My daughter who lives in Boston said that she has a basement that I could use, plus she could use some of these really expensive items that we had. All I got to do was get those stuff up there, and I decided to use PODS because they’re not that expensive, as opposed to getting a bigger moving thing and all of that.

They put the pod on my driveway and we left it there for months, and then, when we filled it, we moved it to our new home. Then, they took the pod away when we needed to take it away. All in all, we had a great experience with PODS.

My experience with PODS was wonderful. The customer service and the drivers were great. The pod was spotless. I've put all the stuff in it and there wasn't one thing that didn't come out just the way we put it in. The stuff was supposed to be in there for a month or two, but it was in storage for ten months. The only thing I'm still waiting on and I'm sure will show up is what they charged me for another month. I called them and they said they'd remove the charge. PODS is really good. Then also, the first rep led us to believe that the pod was gonna be able to handle stuff from our three-bedroom home but it wasn't. We ended up leaving all the beds and bookcases.

They told me the size that I would need and when they would arrive, and they did at that time which made it a good experience for me. We had a stone wall that we had built and the driver had trouble getting between that so he hit that a little bit and moved it, but he graciously tried to put it back. Overall, it was efficient and it went well so I’m pleased.

PODS dropped off a pod, picked it up, drove it all the way to Arizona, dropped it off again and then picked up to take it back. I called once and somehow it got a duplicate order so we were charged twice for the drop off. But we got it all straightened out with them and the driver was very nice both times.

PODS were more easily accessible than other storage companies. In fact, I got a live person to talk to and she was easy to work with and explained to me the process. She gave me the quote and when it will expire. But I had to contact the finance guy at my church before I could proceed. So then I got another gentleman after that, who worked with us as far as the size of the pod that we would need. He explained the size very well, not just the dimensions. That was better for me than trying to figure out feet-wise. The size of the POD they suggested worked perfectly. The driver contacted me and he was very clear about the certain time he will be there and he was, for both drop-off and pickup. He was very courteous and nice. I've had a satisfactory experience with PODS. They have good customer service and I would recommend them to people.

My Realtor recommended PODS. I got a pod delivered so that I could stage my house for sale. I filled up a small pod and had it removed. I showed the house, sold it and brought the pod back, then unload it before moving away. My experience with PODS was mostly fine. It was a little frustrating not being able to schedule the pod deliveries whenever I wanted them. I often would go online to schedule delivery. And then, wait a little while, come back to change my mind, and all the deliveries for the day that I was considering were already gone. Also, I wish that the delivery windows were narrower, rather than something like 7 AM to 10 AM. And every time I got a 7 AM to 10 AM window, I got a 7 AM delivery.

I moved from Florida to Connecticut and went with PODS due to affordability and time. Their container was sturdy and clean while the drivers were courteous and didn't damage anything. They were in and out and it was very good. I'm very satisfied overall.

We used PODS' moving services since they were the cheapest. I booked over the phone, and their representatives were good, knowledgeable, and knew what they're doing. I requested for the largest container. It was sturdy, and nothing was broken. The drivers were on time, courteous and they gave us a 40-minute heads up before they got there.

I have a five-bedroom house so it was a lot of stuff, but the pod fit what it could fit. It was very sturdy and safe, too. My only issue was I needed the pod picked up a couple of days after they did because they didn't have any time later. But other than that, it was a wonderful way to move and I definitely recommended them.

So I loaded up two pods, they held them for me for a while then moved them when the time was right. I remember getting a call from someone wanting to know where I wanted the pods on the driveway and they were placed where they needed to be. Everything was delivered and picked up on time and my stuff arrived essentially undamaged so I couldn't ask for more. My wife who pays the bills wants me to go back, reconcile and make sure that I was charged correctly. She thought there was an extra charge or two in there and I have not had the chance to do that. But that's something I'll do and if there's an issue, I'm sure I could call people on the 800 number and they'll take care of it, PODS being an outstanding company.

I saw PODS everywhere in our subdivision years ago when there was a hurricane here in Florida. The name stuck so I went on their website and hired them for their moving service when I needed to bring all my stuff from Michigan to Florida. Everything was done through phone or the staff from PODS left me a voicemail to let me know what time the driver will be picking up the pod. I checked my checking account and when they took the money out, that was it.

PODS was great. A neighbor had one in their yard and I thought I'm going to try using them. I had to move everything out of my house because it was being remodeled so I called and they talked to me and set up. The price was okay so I decided to go with them instead of renting a storage locker. In that way, my stuff would stay at the house. I got the biggest pod but I could use a little bit bigger because I had more things than I thought I had. Other than that, the pod was very safe and I liked the way it locked up and I didn't feel like someone was going to break into it. It's pretty sturdy. PODS did a fantastic service. They delivered the pod and picked it up on time and the driver was really polite. Just by me using PODS, my sister rented one for four months in California. She liked it because she came out here to help me pack and they're getting ready to sell their house so they were also using it for storage.

We had a lot of fragile things in it, and yet nothing broke. The driver and the one that delivered and picked up my stuff were very nice and helpful. They came within the time frame they gave me. Everything was wonderful. It was well worth the money.

Also, being able to take my time with the loading was very good. I got the PODS' site through USAA and I got a discount. I started my booking online but I realized I had to call for a long distance. I also like the idea of having all my stuff completely mine with my key to lock it up with, unlike if I picked a regular mover to move across the country, and they would pack me on a truck with another house or apartment. We sold the house we had for 20 years and we had PODS come, and we loaded all that's in our house in their containers. We were waiting for our other house to be finished still. We had our real estate agent help with the set up. We booked online and it was very easy. We requested for a 12 feet container and another 16 feet long container. We barely fit everything, but we were lucky. The containers were really nice and clean. They had little poles for our clothes and stuff, and racks, and little hooks to tie things down. I really liked it.

We had a 26-foot container storage on-site with PODS because of their availability and the size of the container. It had a clear roof on top to allow ambient light to get in and the driver was the best part of the experience. He was super. He's experienced, very polite, easy to work with, quick and efficient. He knew what he was doing and was able to get the container in a tight area. In fact, he picked it up out of the site after we were finished with it and was able to deliver it. The only follow-up I had to make was to get the container picked up. Everything went very smoothly and I would recommend to anybody to use PODS for that reason. It wasn’t really affordable, but really efficient.

PODS is a reputable company and have their logistic down based on the level of experience and the number of years they've already been doing business. I thought it would be more efficient to use knowing that they have facilities between the two locations I was moving so I went straight to them. I tried to book online but I only got part way through the form when I decided to call someone. I ended up getting a quote over the phone and I had a pleasant and very straightforward interaction with the person I spoke to. They recommended a size but I later opted down to a different size. Luckily, the second person I spoke to recommended that I stick to the first size. I misinterpreted the lingo online and so I was grateful that they clarified the dimensions for me.

We were renovating our house, so we had to leave. I knew that PODS was based in Florida and they had good marketing, and I'd seen some pods around. So, I called them and booked a pod for storage. When you're putting stuff in storage, you seem to always need more space, but the 16 ft.-container we got was adequate. They sent it out, we put some stuff in it, they put our stuff in storage, and then a few months later we took our stuff out. The pod was clean when they got it and it came back in the exact same shape. Everybody at PODS was awesome from beginning to end. At every step, the customer service reps checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. PODS was great. We'd use them again if we had the need.

We had a great experience with PODS. We used them for storage because of the size of the container and the convenience it gave us. We booked them online which was easy. They were able to deliver everything and what we needed was there. However, the instructions were to put the pod as close to the side of the driveway as possible as I needed to fit a car next to the pod and they didn't do that. I wanted the pod to be a couple more feet over so that I can park next to the pod instead of behind it. But we've made it work and it's not a big deal. My car stuck out a little bit on my sidewalk but it didn't matter because we don't have a lot of pedestrians out there in my area.

I would recommend PODS. I needed storage and they were available so I got their 7-foot container and it worked out really well.

Just used PODS Container moving services December 2016. Original contract was not honored and price hiked after many calls including an 1 1/2 hr conversation to tell me why my original contract could not occur. Would not trust or use this service again. Customer Service Operators are prepped to placate the dissatisfied customer but do nothing to correct the problem. Also unclear & fluctuating charges appear on account invoice. Overcharged my account. I felt I had to pay overcharge fees or my items would have been kept hostaged. Beware!

When I researched PODS online, websites said the customer service was awful but I didn't experience that. However, When I was setting up the move I didn't understand why one person would tell me I could use whatever location but then when I went to actually set it up and I had a different representative, they told me I can't choose my location and it has to go to a specific one. The storage ended up being about half an hour to 45 minutes away. It didn't matter either way, but I thought that was a little odd.

The container was sturdy but it's a little pricey for a self-storage - I could have gotten a storage unit cheaper. I also made the mistake of having to move the same time I just made a payment so I lost the payment.

We were able to do the process and break it up into pieces rather than have a bunch of movers coming and asking me a whole bunch of questions. Once we were out in Seattle, it was very nice being able to go out and do PODS and get some items that we needed.

I got two 16's and I could have gotten by with one 16 and a small one but I didn't pack them like I should have. But the containers were great. When the drivers dropped the containers off, one driver didn't want to put it in the driveway 'cause he said he hadn't done that very long. But the other driver came in and said it was piece of cake and did both.

I did the booking of PODS over the phone, and we had two large and one seven-footer containers. The representative that I dealt with was very helpful. But PODS forgot to tell us about taxes, so we ended up with a quite different price. The guys that picked up the containers were out of this world. They were wonderful. But it would be better if they can make a smaller window of when they're gonna come because they told us 8:30 to 11:30 and they showed up at 2:30. Other than that, everything showed up wonderful. We did not have one broken item.

PODS was a recommendation from my brother because he has used it in the past and said he liked it. I tried booking PODS online, for moving purposes, and I got the 7-foot container. But then, I had to go on the phone with them to get the pod unit to Hawaii in the timeframe that I needed and because of the shipping part of the container. Because of the distance, I had to book the pod about six or seven months in advance. So if one is booking for the pod, especially going from Hawaii to the mainland, one has to give a few months leeway, because of the way the shipping goes from the mainland to Hawaii and back again.

I thought PODS' services would be cheaper. I booked with them over the phone and their rep was fantastic. I used their basic moving and then long distance travel. I used their storage services as well. There were only two available options for the containers and once I figured out how much I needed, I went with the white larger ones. Everything fit fine and they stayed dry and clean. The drivers were great and helpful. They told me what was going to happen and I watched the pod come in and go away. The time for the moving of the container couldn't be guaranteed but I was given a window and the move happened within that window. Everything that I needed to get done was done efficiently and effectively. PODS was right for the job.

I checked the prices of various storage companies and PODS seemed to be the best. I looked up for their information online and their website was easy to navigate. The only thing it didn't do was it wouldn't give me the actual quote, so I had to call for that. And the reps were right on the money. I don't think the quote changed from what they gave me to what it finally was. I got the 7-foot container and if I'd gone up a size it would have been too much, but I filled it right up to the brim. And as far as the condition of the pod, I have no complaints with it. I would go with PODS again.

It was a metal frame box on a wood base. It was clean, in good shape, and didn't have any damage to it. The drivers were very courteous and professional. He explained how to lock the pod and gave me tips on how to secure my stuff, where to tie them down, where to put heavy things, and how to belt them out. He was also very mindful of my driveway.

And it's very simple to order online. They've provided me storage for seven months. I did two of the 16-foot containers. I started out with one in April and then needed another one by August. The drivers were extremely excellent, very courteous and professional.

I had my household goods stored and moved from California to Massachusetts. I was buying a house at the other end and didn't know where I was going to live yet, so I left it stored in San Jose until I found a home. I called PODS to check and make sure that the container would be big enough. I needed some help estimating that and ended up going with the biggest one. I got the 8x8x16 white container with red PODS lettering on the outside. I would have picked a slightly bigger one if I had a choice, but that was the biggest one they had.

When I drive around in our neighborhood, I see a lot of PODS storage containers. Evidently, if they're doing a lot of business, they must be pretty good. The people I spoke with at PODS were absolutely wonderful. They took time and seemed very knowledgeable. It was a very good experience. I took the larger container. We were downsizing, and I used them to store my furniture first at my house for about a month until we got ready to show our house. I had PODS pick it up and put it in storage. Afterwards, I brought it back to our house so that our mover could just move it all.

The PODS reps were very good and they answered all my questions very clearly. They were very punctual even the night before. They informed me exactly when they were coming and they called 15 minutes before they came. They were really on top of things and I didn't have to move an inch of all the stuff that was in the container. They were also very careful in transporting it. I would rate them excellent.

We had both the POD moving and storage services. We had two PODS that they put at our house that we moved from back in June and then they all stored them up until towards the end of the year. Their website was fine but then we also talked to the local PODS franchise here. We talked to the manager a couple of times who followed up to make sure the service was good. And then there were a couple of snafus - no fault of anybody else but he followed up again to make sure that they were corrected and handled appropriately. I had nothing but high praise to say about their facility here in Birmingham.

When I got them I couldn't tell if I owed money or if it was a receipt for payment. Also, they never changed my address correctly on them. But I just pay online anyway.

She might have to load and not get access to her things for weeks because it was going to be combined with a couple of other loads. PODS seemed like it met all of the timeframes that we needed to accomplish. We did the booking online which was relatively easy and got their 16-foot container. We barely got the stuff in.

At that time, I got the 16-foot one to put all our furniture. It was enough for what I needed it for.
