It was convenient to use PODS and they were consumer-friendly. They had the feature that they could drop off and pick up the pod. I went on the website and put the dates in that I wanted, the addresses and everything just worked. The container was clean and functional. It's what we needed and it served our purpose. The drivers who picked up the container were on time, courteous and helpful. It's a great service and it saved us a lot of aggravation and leg time. They did all the work for us and it was something that served our needs.

Most of the comments online towards PODS were leaning towards the positive and there were very few negative comments that would reflect what I was going to be doing. I was gonna move from New Mexico to Illinois so I checked into PODS and other similar companies, and there's one of them that I wouldn't wanna use because they're not as solid a construction as PODS. I also drove out to the PODS location in Albuquerque and met two older gentleman who showed me everything and gave me a brief tour of the whole storage thing. I was more impressed at the caliber and the quality of employees that were working there than the facility itself. They were very professional.

My daughters wanted to get PODS because we were moving. They liked that PODS were packing boxes for us and they wanted to put the boxes in the pod. They thought that would be better for us. They scheduled it online and it was very easy. I'd recommend PODS to somebody if they were moving and wanted to just put stuff in a pod.

PODS worked well for us. They are reasonably priced and it was easy to order from them. I booked it initially online, but when I had a question, I ended up using the Help. The representative was very helpful. The delivery and the pickup of the pod were both great. The drivers were on time, professional and did a good job. They listened to us and worked so fast. In fact, I would do it again.

We needed a storage container and got one from PODS because of convenience. We have used storage units in the past and we found PODS to be 100% more efficient and easier all the way around. I worked with them online and it was very easy, but I also called them because I had some questions. Everybody that I'd ever spoken with at PODS was great. They were very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. We had the smaller 12-foot container. My husband and I were nervous to put anything super fragile in there, but it was very sufficient. We were not home when it was dropped off, but they were very timely because they called me when they were going to be there. Also, we were really early on with our contract and didn't get the money back. They called to tell me how much we were getting back and when we could expect it.

I used PODS before when I moved down from New York to Florida and that worked very perfectly. They were easy to handle. I found them on the web and just reading through what they advertise, I found them very convenient to use. I liked the way they presented themselves and how I could approach them in terms of the data that I had to submit. It was also really easy to navigate through their webpage.

I was moving to another city and PODS would move their pod to the city for me. I booked the pod online and though the process is okay, it could be more automated. I still had to talk to somebody once. The pod was the right size for my needs but it was very cheap. It was just plastic and some wood, and it caused mold to go inside of it. I had to throw certain things away because mold had set in. It was cool but if it was an all-steel storage unit, then the mold couldn't have set in. But it was a smooth transaction with the driver. He was cool. Overall, I was satisfied with the experience.

I had heard more about PODS than any other company so I signed up with them. Their reps were very kind. When I forgot my lock, they brought it back to me when they picked up the pod. Overall, I had a very good experience with them.

We were going to renovate a house so we were needing to store our furniture temporarily. PODS was recommended to us by the contractor that was working on the remodel. We did the booking over the phone and the experience went very well. They told us about a special that they had going at the time which we were eligible to take advantage of, and did. They were very friendly and very professional. All was fine. They delivered the two pods, initially, just as requested. They were clean and there were no issues. The gentleman was extremely nice. Then when we got ready to have them brought back, they were extremely responsive. As soon as we called, they got our pods to us. Everything was fine. And then they picked them back up just as quickly as we needed them picked up.

I got a shipping container from PODS to use it for my move to my new house. Last time, I had to move in with my mother-in-law temporarily until we finished the renovations but that move was a pain in the butt. Last time, I literally moved everything into storage and now I'm moving everything back out. So I figured just having it in the container would make it more convenient so I opted with PODS this time. We used the largest container and it was perfect. I love the fact that it was ground level. I literally moved in and out by myself and the dolly. I could not be happier with my experience. They may be a little pricier but a lot less stressful.

We rented a storage pod from PODS and had it transported from Seattle to New York. And then, we also had the city service which is for unloading or parking the pod in Manhattan temporarily. They brought it into the city because they're not allowed to drop it off on the street like they do for a different hood. We spoke to a number of coast to coast movers and they all seemed to be a little bit sketchy except for PODS. We also went with the name recognition, the convenience, and PODS' reputability. We ended up with the smallest container because unfortunately, they only do the smallest and the largest containers for coast to coast moves. We had an absolutely pack-full. And then after our move, we got rid of about a third of the stuff that was in there.

PODS supplied me with the container that I needed to move in. We got a 16 footer from them although an 18 foot container would have been better, but everything went fine.

We were moving locally and needed to store items in secure storage for a while before having them moved to our new location in a fashion where we can unload a pod at a time. PODS fit our needs. We booked four pods online and it was a very straightforward process. They were all 16-foot containers, the largest we could get. I wish they were larger but we got what we needed and we made it work. Everything stayed safe and dry and the drivers who picked up our containers were excellent. They were professional, on time, and very thorough.

For my storage needs, I got PODS as I had used them prior. I made my booking both online and over the phone and the process was easy. I called to confirm that everything I had done on the computer had gone through. The people were courteous, respectful and professional. I got the largest container and it was solid, clean, undamaged, and had easy access. When I got here, the container was here, and when I was gone, it disappeared accordingly. Everything was on schedule and excellent. PODS is good to go and has value for the dollar. I highly recommend them.

I'd seen PODS around and chose them because of brand recognition. I booked the largest container they had and set it up online and it was great. It was very easy to use so I was happy with it. The next day, I got a call from them confirming when the person would be there to drop off or pick up. We weren't home when the container was delivered but it was placed exactly where we put it on the website and presumably on time. They were great.

Using PODS gave us some flexibility because were not sure how long we were going to need to leave our stuff stored. Doing it a different way would have required renting a truck and loading it more than once, taking it to someplace, putting all the things in that permanent garage type storage place and waiting for who knows how long because we didn't know. And then turning around at the end of that waiting period and putting it all back into a different truck that we'd have to rent separately from the other one. And finally, doing it all over again to deliver it to the new house would be a big hassle.

I used PODS before and I was happy. So, I used them again when I needed moving services and got a 16-foot container. But I probably should’ve gotten one a little bit bigger, though. I booked online and it's been excellent. If I had any questions, the drivers would answer them well. They sure tried to please as best they can. They were good employees and I found them to be well-mannered and courteous. It was a very comfortable experience and if I ever have to move again, I’d use PODS.

For my moving needs, I went online to look first then I called PODS. I decided what size container I needed, they booked some dates for me, explained the payment process and what to expect. Everything fell into place as it was explained. Payments were drawn out when they were supposed to and the pods showed up and were taken when they were supposed to. I had what they consider an extended move as it was an out-of-state move.

I called PODS to book them for a move. We did the rest of the booking online and it was very easy and outstanding. They then delivered a pod and I had it for a couple of weeks. I filled it up and then they moved it from Miami to Hookstown, Florida. The whole service from start to finish was very good and I was very happy with them. Everybody was very professional and it was totally a good experience.

We've used PODS a couple of times and we've been very satisfied. I've booked with them both online and over the phone but this time, I did it over the phone. While we were doing remodeling, we had a storage trailer and loaded things in it. They stored it for us for several months and brought it back. We met one of the drivers and he was terrific. I didn't even meet the other fellow, but certainly no issues. They put it where they said they'd put it at the right time and picked it up at the right time as well.

I checked PODS out online for moving services and spoke to somebody over the phone. My interactions with the rep were perfect. I got the 16-foot container and it was exactly what they said. But if there was a 20-foot container, it would have been better. The driver was cordial and professional. He drove the thign like no one did and it was really interesting. He also explained everything, so it's very cool.

I've heard a lot about PODS so I went with them. I took them for storage, kept my things for three months, and then got them delivered to a different address. I booked PODS online and called them up for confirmation of booking and the timing. I also wanted to make sure that I can leave it at storage. Due to their convenience and price, I ended up using PODS over other storage and moving company. Everything went fine with the pod and the representatives were very good all the way through. They had a problem when the container was first brought to the house. The pod was going to sink into the yard, but the guy from PODS had plywood that he had to put on the yard. He did it very well, backed it up twice and was very cautious. We have a difficult place to deliver, but the guy tried to get it as far up the hill as he could and as far as reasonable. So, he did a very good job.

We live in Pennsylvania and my parents live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My dad passed away, so when we moved everything home to Pittsburgh, we used PODS It was really convenient that everything will be delivered right to my door. I started online when I was booking, and then I had a couple of questions so I ended up speaking with a representative who did a great job. I was in Pennsylvania, and my brother and my husband were in Albuquerque so we were going back and forth. I said, “Well I can book it but I might have to cancel it depending on time.” The rep said, “Well I can wait on the phone while you give them a call.” So, I did. But because I wasn’t able to get them at that very minute, I disconnected with PODS, then they called back within five minutes and I was still talking to her so I booked it. So it was more convenient to be on the phone versus online.

When I was moving across the country, I got multiple quotes from different moving companies and PODS ended up being the cheapest. I also have a family who had used them for long distance moves so I trusted them and got their 16-foot pod. Everyone I spoke with was always helpful. I met the one who dropped it off at my house in Massachusetts and also the one who picked it up and both of them were pleasant and professional. The one who placed it ended up having to go in my neighbor’s driveway 'cause mine was a hill. He was very helpful in figuring out where it could go when working with what my neighbor requested as far as where it could be.

My ex-husband passed away and I needed to get a POD to store his stuff. I went with PODS for the convenience and booked a container that's smaller than the biggest online. It was easy and their website is user-friendly. The guy who dropped the container off was really nice and they were to pick it up December, but they were already booked so they came the first time they could in January. Their customer service was great and they didn’t have to prorate the month for me but they did. They actually reimbursed me. They were really good and I'd highly recommend them. Especially for what I had to use the POD for, having them to be very kind about everything was a good experience.

I moved to California from North Carolina and then in December, moved from California back to North Carolina. I went with PODS for moving and storage for the price and convenience. I tried to book online, but since it was long distance, I had to call which I prefer to do. Every single time I talked to the representative, it was wonderful. They were all amazing including the driver.

I got from PODS a couple storage units for moving. I was moving houses, so it was nice because they dropped it off. I loaded the container then they took it away and brought it to the new house for me. The driver was very good and helpful. He kept me in touch the whole time. He called when he had picked up the pod and when he was on his way back to his storage yard.

We moved from Cincinnati, Ohio and we had our things stored in the pod for a period of time. Then we had it delivered down to Fort Myers Beach, Florida. We knew that we were in a period where we needed to be out of the house soon, but we weren't ready to move in because at that time, we haven't found a place yet. So, we thought it would be a good and convenient idea to get PODS. Booking with them was easy to do and everyone has been very helpful. Their drivers were excellent. They took very good care and explained everything, made sure to watch that they didn't do anything to the yard and that they were parked exactly where they were supposed to be. They were very polite. We had a very good experience and we were happy. In fact, we'd do it again if we ever moved and we would recommend it.

I had a brother who moved two years back and he had a positive experience with PODS and I asked him about it. So I went ahead and gave it a shot and it worked out pretty nicely for me. I originally went online, but there was a notice on there that said if you're moving over 50 miles then you can call. So I ended up calling someone over the phone and he walked me through the process and set the order online. I got them to deliver their largest container to my residence and it was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. I loaded it up myself and then they dropped it off at the new residence. And after that, they just picked up a couple of days after I had it unloaded.

We rented multiple units for a large job and from booking, drop off scheduling through to final pick up we had nothing but a positive wonderful experience.

I had PODS deliver a container to my house in Memphis, Tennessee. Then, after I filled it up, they came and picked it up, and then they took it about 189 miles away to the house I just bought in Sewanee, Tennessee. I had used PODS twice before. I brought a PODS over from California to my house in Memphis about four and a half years ago. Then, after that, a friend of mine sent me some more things over with a smaller PODS from California. So, this is the third time I've done business with PODS.

My husband and I moved from Maryland to North Carolina. I heard a lot of good things about PODS, so I thought sounds good. Worst experience of my life. Every time I turned around they were cleaning out my bank account for different charges. Then I had to use two pods because everything would not fit into one pod as I was told. The first pod that was delivered everything in the pod shifted. Most of my furniture was broken or smashed. I was told by a manager that the pods are moved on a level surface. Bull! Then how did my stuff get broken. Now we have the second pod and we can't get it open. We are going to be charged $75 to open their defective equipment! We would have been better off going with a traditional mover. We did not save any money using this company and now we have to replace broken furniture. Never again!

When you contract with PODS you are told you can schedule pickup of your pod by calling 5 days in advance. Don't believe it. They took 11 days to pick up our pod. They did not return calls and refused to give me contact info for the local agent handling our move. I could only speak with their customer service call center which is a joke. They finally told me if I wanted to pay an extra $100 they could pick up my pod earlier. I guess money can open up a spot. I would never use them again. I could hire a moving service cheaper than what this move cost me.

I needed storage because I was building a new home and I sold off my old home, so I need to store my residence. I chose PODS among others because I knew that I could put everything in there and then upon completion of my house they will deliver everything I had inside to my residence. It makes a lot easier than you hauling and storing it.

$250/mo per pod. Too costly! Went to wrong address to deliver. Office apology but omg they had a way to reach Me. Had stg with them several years. Security great. Your own lock. Would use again after checking prices of other storage only.

We were moving so we rented one of the pods. Their name was familiar and we liked that they'd drop the pod off and store it for us until we were ready to move into our new home. My husband booked it and said it was easy. We got the 16-foot pod and it was perfect. It was very clean and I was surprised that they have a rack inside for the clothes. That was a really nice feature. It saved us from having to pack clothes and it was awesome. It was also sturdy enough that everything held together. It's just when it was empty it looks a little wobbly.

We were moving some of our furniture down to Florida from New York and the price of the truck was prohibitive, so we went with PODS. We got the biggest container they had and it was right for what we needed. The drivers that picked up my container were really good and they went out of their way to take care of me. The only problem I had was with the door. It just didn't seem to close properly. The driver said that they didn't have problems with them like that. But that needs to be addressed because it took me forever to try and get that door open. I even had everything back from the door with straps in order to keep it away from the door and that nothing slipped up, which it didn't. That was frustrating, especially when you did not unload it all at one time. We couldn't get it back down in order to leave the stuff in overnight. It was a mess. But other than that, we're fine.

Our facility had used PODS probably six or seven years ago. So I knew that they were a resource already. So when this unit opened up, I reached out to see if they could be a resource again for us and they donated the pod for us. We needed storage services for our holiday donations, to keep them safe and dry until Christmas. We had it delivered three weeks ahead of time and that's where all of our donations went. Our holidays wouldn't have been able to run smoothly without it, or we would’ve had to dig into other moneys to pay for it. It helped out in a lot of different ways.

I've used PODS the last time I moved, so I decided to use them again. I had them deliver two containers and then had them moved and shipped in long distance and then re-deliver them. I initially booked them online, and they were good because they had good estimating tools. Plus, their website is very helpful and easy to use. However, I needed to make some changes, so I ended up calling and speaking to customer service reps, and they were very good and helpful. The drivers were courteous, on time and careful. I've recommended them and my brother used them as well since we had a good experience.

We needed storage and moving and a friend of ours used Rat Pack but they had a bad experience. We knew we wanted to declutter our house before we put our house in the market so we knew we needed a temporary storage solution. We didn't want to pack the car up and take it off to one of those storage units so we decided on using the PODS. I booked online and this was very simple and seamless. I called once to confirm the drop-off but all my questions were answered online. Websites should definitely be intuitive enough so that I don't have to interact with a person. Not that I’m anti-social, but if I go to a website, I want to be able to accomplish everything on it and not have to call a phone number and get help.

PODS moved a storage onto our property, left it with us for several months and stored some things in it while we did a remodel. Their staff was always very helpful and courteous. They always came when they said they were coming and when there was any problem at all, they let me know. They were very thorough and did a great job. It was a great experience and I would gladly do it again.

I relocated from one state to the other, so I booked with PODS online and they called me over the phone. The website had a lot of details and information on there, and the reps on the phone were very courteous, polite and informative. I went with a seven by ten and it was clean when it got here. They were efficient and on time. Also, the driver was excellent. He was very helpful, and he explained how to pack the pod, as well as how to ensure that my belongings did not get damaged. I didn't see any of my belongings broken but for the small pod, they should put in more hooks or bungee cords because they didn't have enough hooks. However, if I had to do it all over again, I would still do PODS. The idea of having to move on my own, rent the truck, pack the truck up and drive it across state is not appealing at all. I had an excellent experience, and I've suggest that a friend use them.

I used PODS when I moved from one house to another out here in Pennsylvania. When we were moving some of my mother-in-law's furniture and stuff up here, I called PODS and tried to find out how much it was going to cost to rent a pod that could carry a one room size stuff. The rep was nice and he answered all my questions.

Then I went through all the information that was on the internet and compared that with another company that also offered the same type of thing, but felt that PODS had a better set up. They were a little higher price-wise, but I felt that I would get a better service. I booked first via online and then I talked to people, which went fine.

I had a great experience with PODS. I had the PODS and took it away, and then brought it back. I used them in Boston when I was moving furniture out of a home I own there and needed the PODS for my hotel to store extra furniture for about three to five months. I booked the PODS online and the follow-up call was great. I had a lot of conversations with the reps over the phone. They called me because I was at the hotel and they wanted to know what parking lot I wanted. I requested the biggest container that they had, and it was the correct size, very secure and spotless. The only thing was that at night there were no lights in it. But the roof is very translucent, so it wasn't bad.

I needed storage and I booked a PODS online. It worked fine and it arrived promptly. I liked the way they offloaded and put it back on again. It stayed in the driveway and it worked really well.

I needed moving and storage services and used PODS because of the convenience of it. Overall, my online booking experience was very easy. Initially I scheduled online, but had some adjustments I needed to make for timing so I spoke to somebody on the phone as well. The POD was very clean but it could have used a few more hooks for securing stuff. I had my own bungee straps but there weren’t many eye hooks to connect with. The drivers were all very pleasant on the telephone.

I have used PODS in January and now it's my daughter who's moving. So, we're using them again and I started having this whole issue with the link but it's being taken care of right now. I normally book PODS over the phone and their customer service has been incredibly helpful. What happens is once I book a pod, I have a certain time limit to accept the terms online. If I don't do that then it puts my reservation at risk and I have to do it all over again if my spot isn't saved.

PODS is more convenient and economical for me. I booked online and it was very easy. I did long-term storage with them and I'm still with them every month. I also did a one-month on top of the long-term for a local move. I intend to do a long move but I don't know when that's going to happen so I sold the house and put the majority of my stuff in one of the storage places and then I use what I was gonna be using to live with in an apartment in the short term. For the long-term one, I requested the largest one that they have, the 16-footer. Then for the short-term one, it was the 12-footer. The 16-foot one was perfect with no issues at all. The 12-foot one had oil stains at the bottom of the container and I made PODS aware of it so that they wouldn't think that I did it. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with my experience with them.

When I called PODS, they were friendly and courteous. They did great. I would recommend them.

I got PODS' service for temporary storage. They were perfect. They're more flexible and their way of doing things fit my needs and the other possible similar companies where I live didn't work out the way PODS did things. I booked the 8x12 container over the phone and it was a good size. The representatives were real helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. They didn't have to leave me hanging there while they go ask somebody what to do. The guy who worked there moved quick and easy. They delivered the pod to my property and I had it for six months. It wasn't gonna be moved and we didn't intend to have it hauled out fully loaded. So, we didn't have them come pick it up and haul it out for storage. We just rented it, put stuff in it and take it all out, sent it back empty.

PODS is effective and easy to use. I have used their cross-country pod service. I ordered an 8x16 single pod and stored it with them for a couple of months and moved it from Colorado to North Carolina. The cost I'd spend with PODS is the same with a U-Haul and then I'd have to drive it and pay gas for as well so I chose PODS. I booked online and then confirmed it over the phone and the experience was seamless. Their reps were good, not rude and they answered all my questions. Their drivers were professional. The one that picked it up when it was empty was super cool. The day they brought the container, they informed me. It was a little bit different from what I was told originally but no big deal because everything worked out. However, I had a hard time with all the things shifting on transport. When it got here, it fell against the door. It looked like I'd never get the door opened.

I had a pod moved from Virginia to Mas and a storage from PODS, and the size of the units were perfect. Everything worked fine, and it was a very positive experience. I recommend them.

I needed on-site storage, and am familiar with PODS. I see them on the road all the time. I had a unit delivered on-site. I used it for a month. I booked it over the phone through Jacksonville and as best as I remember, the rep that I spoke with was okay. I got the 16-foot container. However, I needed something bigger. The hurricane blew my utility shed apart, and I had more stuff in my utility shed than the pod would hold, but I made it work. Also, the pod was on flat ground and was sturdy. We didn't have a problem. The driver that delivered the container put some blocking under it and drove off. Then he came back and picked it up. It was a different truck was his only complaint because it was harder to get it into where he needed to be, but he made it work, too. If I needed another storage container, I'll give PODS a holler.

We sold our home so we had to put our belongings of 46 years in a pod and moved it to their storage facility until the new home finished approximately, three months later. And then, they brought it out to the new house. I read a little bit about the PODS and they did the storage that I wanted. I heard other good things from Facebook as well. I called for a quote and they were great on the phone. Also, we got a discount for using PODS through the same real estate company that we use to sell our home. I booked online and then I called up to finish it over the phone. When I had it done in auto pay, everything was perfect. They always sent me a reminder that it was coming out. The last payment came out and I've had no problems ever since.

We really appreciated PODS' service. We just had the pod delivered, taken down the road and delivered to the second site and picked up. I booked over the phone, and I had a very pleasant interaction with their representatives. I gave them dates. They checked on fulfillment and we're able to book the dates that I requested. I got an 18-foot container, and it is perfect for the function that I needed it for. The drivers on both ends were very personable, very professional and did an excellent job. I'm very satisfied.

I needed to have a storage to clear out storage buildings and make room so that I could go through stuff and load as I went through it and get rid of what I needed to because the house was so full. We've been there 17 years, that without PODS, I didn't have enough room to move stuff around to go through what I didn't want to bring. I booked PODS over the phone and it was exceptionally easy. They answered all my questions, and all the people who took the information got it done. They scheduled everything like I wanted it and I got call reminders.

I got estimates from them and another place. PODS rep was very friendly and very pushy about how I should definitely move on making the reservation and how he'd need my card number but the card wouldn't be charged for the reservation. He went on for some time about how PODS was better than any competitor and that I should make a reservation because prices would go up soon due to more people moving. The estimates and reviews from customers of PODS and the other company were similar. The PODs rep who was so friendly and pushy, however, was not clear about how PODS will charge the card I use to make a reservation 5 business days ahead of when their PODS even arrive for loading if it's a long distance move.

We moved out of our house into a rental while we were re-doing the older home that we bought. We used PODS to store our stuff and got two 10 x 10 storage units. I like the fact that we had several days to move into it, tidy things up and make sure they were really well padded and secure. And, it was the same when we finally had it delivered. We could go at our pace. The drivers were great, very friendly and nice. It was a positive experience. I would recommend PODS to somebody who needs to do it the way we did. I would use them again if I plan on moving again.

We moved from Massachusetts to Kansas and used PODS because of the price point and on the web, their product was really good looking. And when we finally got the pod in person, it was as good as it seemed on the website. I booked on the phone and we got just about everything in the pod though it would have been better if the pod was a bit bigger.

I used PODS for moving and storage. It was very easy to book them over the phone. I had the 16 feet container which is enough for my needs and the drivers were all very friendly. They all called ahead and did the drop. Then follow-up interaction with the customer service was all good. Overall, everything has been very easy, hassle-free, and I'd use them again.

We researched and saw a pod and it fit for us. We booked it over the phone and had no problems. We ordered the largest. My wife kept telling me we could have used a lot larger one, but we made it do since they said that was the biggest they had. They brought the pod up in the way they said they will. The delivery driver was very friendly, and very cordial. The insulation where the door goes up and down fell apart, though, when we had it for about 6 months. It kept falling down in the driveway. Finally, when we took everything out, we just threw it inside the pod. But other than that, the pod didn't leak. It met our needs.

I was selling a house and needed to de-clutter, so I ordered up a pod to put all the stuff in it. I talked to various people and thought I got a better vibe out of the PODS rep that was helping me. He was very polite and accommodating. The container I received was clean and in good shape, and they placed it in a reasonable spot on my driveway, where it was easy to load and unload.

I've seen PODS on people's driveways and they were the only name that came to mind when I needed storage services. I booked with them over the phone and talking with their reps was perfect. I got the larger container from them. During the process, the company made a mistake and loaded my container on the wrong side because the door was going to be in the wrong direction. The guy realized that it was their mistake. He went down the street, dropped it and came back in order to be able to get it onto the right side of his cab in order to be able to drop it on the right side from my house.

We were moving and we had read off on one or more reviews and PODS came out good so we chose them. My husband did the booking over the phone and it went great. Everybody was courteous the pod was actually perfect. The drivers were really good. The ones that dropped it off were prompt. They called us before they came and they called us to let us know when they were picking them up. They were awesome and I would definitely recommend them.

We got assistance with moving from PODS a couple of months ago. When we were moving, they were one of the first companies that I found. I reached out for a quote, and PODS got back to me sooner than some of the other companies. It was fine with the rep. I booked my PODS, which was the middle-size, 12-foot container, over the phone. We could've used the next size up, but we were able to make everything fit in the middle-size container that we needed to.

PODS gave us a reasonable price. We had a storage unit from PODS moved onto our property that was destroyed by fire. We filled it up and we moved in a rental home. And then we kept the unit there for a while just to store items until we were able to get it cleaned out. My first phone call with the PODS rep was a really good experience and they had what we needed. Also, they talked me through on what size of container would be good for us. We told them that if we needed anything bigger, we would call back and get another one at that time. In addition, the drivers were excellent. It was a totally good experience all the way around.

I've used PODS a couple of times. Once when one of the bathrooms flooded and I had to empty a bedroom. I put it in a pod until I had my repairs done. One of the other times is that my father-in-law was in the house and he had an accident. I had to empty that room and tear the floor up too. So, I had to use a pod for storage. I book with them online or over the phone. Sometimes there's a glitch online, so I just back it up through the phone.

I had PODS deliver a pod to my home in Santa Fe, New Mexico and then take it to my winter home in St. Petersburg, Florida. Everything worked very well. My daughter had used it also very successfully before. I booked over the phone and was treated very well. Everything was explained so I understood it fine. I got the smallest pod and my neighbor and I loaded four chairs and a bunch of household goods in it and my daughter and son-in-law helped me unload it. We were selling the house and wanted to take a lot of stuff out to make it look more spacious because we lived in it for a long time. That’s why we went with the smaller pod and t was perfect for what we needed it for. As far as having our things delivered and dropped off, I did it over the phone. And managing the account online was fine. I had some billing issues but we were able to take care of that easily. My interaction with the carrier driver was very good. Their staff came on time, picked up our things and took them in. Then, we sold the house and moved to Nashville, so they transported everything to Nashville, and we were able to get it locally here. Everything was good and on time when I requested it.

Using PODS for storage was convenient. I booked by the phone because I’d rather talk to someone than rely on the computer, and the reps I spoke to were outstanding. I got the 16 and the 7-foot containers and they were good. The driver who delivered the first one noticed that it was leaking, and with no hassle and no issue, took it back and got a brand new one. So it was nice to see some quality control in today’s day and age. The driver who picked it up was also awesome. PODS was outstanding.

We moved from one state to another and when you're doing a large move like that, it can get really expensive. I thought PODS was less expensive and their customer service was really good. We were selling our house and buying a house so we had to constantly keep changing dates, calling them and putting things on hold in terms of when we were gonna have our pods picked up and delivered to our new house. It was complex but they were really very receptive to us on both ends. We were dealing with the main number, the 800 number and the local office where were moving and everybody that we dealt with was so nice and helpful.

I had a pleasant experience booking online. The website was easy to navigate and booking was a lot easier than I thought. I was very satisfied. The drivers were very helpful. Even though we indicated online where we wanted the truck to be situated, they still checked with us to make sure that it was correct. Also, a couple of times they made recommendations on how to facilitate both our garage and our walkway for easy use, which we didn’t think of. So it really helped us. We would definitely use PODS again. However, they are a bit pricey than I expected. But otherwise, it was definitely a pleasant experience. I was shocked at how quickly they were able to react and were right here on time.

I booked my 8x16 container with PODS online. When I saw the PODS, it was right for my needs and it was clean and sturdy as well. All four drivers who picked up my container were courteous and very competent. Also, the moving of my container was timely. I followed up with customer service after the job was finished in order to refund a charge. Talking to them on the phone was a good experience and they took care of it. I had an excellent experience with PODS and I would use them again.

I'd seen PODS online and my cousin also used them when they were moving and had to store their stuff long term. We moved then didn't get a new house right away so we had to store our stuff in the pod for about a year. I booked online and the website was easy to use. I got the large pod container and talked briefly to the person who first delivered it.

We used PODS to move locally and were charged much more than what was quoted to us. The original estimate was based on the location which was further than the updated one and yet the price has almost doubled. I called their useless customer service and entirely useless manager said that it's based on the zip code. When I told him that the updated zip code was more than 3 miles closer vs original one he couldn't explain anything and just hang up. Way to go useless POZ CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER. The whole thing got me so frustrated that I'll be filing complaint with AG office. DO NOT use PODS if you want an honest and fair treatment. Bunch of liars and thieves!!!

I've had PODS bring the two containers out, so we can load them up and get them stored for six weeks. We had to get out of the place we were moving from quickly. And it was convenient that we were able to take our things to a storage, and then bring them to us when we could get into our house. But the pod needs a netting or something to keep stuff inside when you close the door. I had trouble getting the doors open. Things inside are on the door. Other than that, everybody was all good.

I selected PODS for convenience and my experience was great. For the most part, the reps were very good and their person that delivered the item to North Carolina was amazing. He dropped the pod where I asked him to put it and was very attentive as to listening. Plus, the container was fine.

I wasn't here when they picked it up but their driver called me to let me know that he had picked it up. I was here though when they dropped it off and made sure where I wanted it to sit. Overall, they had something available and I took advantage of it. And, their reps were very helpful in getting everything set for me.

PODS is a great company. We needed them to drop off a POD, pick it up and move it across the country. We didn't need much so we took the smallest container. Our interactions with them on the phone were absolutely wonderful. And their drivers were great both during pick-up and drop-off. I talked to both of them and asked how their Podzilla works. It was cool. However, I had an issue with them because some other person had made a reservation and I was getting his messages. It was screwing up everything. Everybody had different ideas of what the problem was and it took a couple of phone calls before we finally figured it out. Nevertheless, it was all taken care of. I would totally recommend them and we will be using them again. In fact, I'm using them to move my son in his college.

Booking online with PODS was quick. The container was a little big but I didn't know that at the time. Although we had a lot of bad weather that time of the year, everything in there stayed dry and there were no leaks.

This is our second time to use PODS. We used them in 2012 when we moved then. Our first experience with them was really good and the prices were good. We used them again mainly because the customer service was great. The driver that dropped off our unit was the same guy that came back and picked it up. He was very professional and knew what he was doing. I'm not planning on moving again quite soon, but if I did I would definitely use PODS again.

My pods did not show up to my new house on scheduled date. We had 3 pods and they only delivered one. They said there wasn't room for the others. Basically it was because the guy who dropped off the first pod did not leave them room. He set the first pod in the middle instead of on the side of the driveway. Also had the door facing the wrong way. Then they delivered the other 2 pods when they could get to them. For some reason they had 1 pod scheduled for a Thursday and then the other 2 for the following Monday.

I needed pickup, delivery and 13 days of storage services and I went with PODS. I booked them over the phone and they gave me the wrong information on how much that would haul. They could use some training. I had a three-bedroom and two-bath home and they said it would hold it in one pod. But it didn't. I had to rent a truck and a U-Haul, and a place to put it to go with it. I was upset. That was an added expense that we didn't need to throw after. We paid a lot of money for the pod itself, which was the 16-footer or the largest they told me they had and it was not big. I would have rented a truck in the first place and done it all through U-Haul if I had known it won't fit. Nevertheless, it worked perfectly for what I had. I'd recommend them and I would use them again if I needed it under the same circumstances.

PODS seems simple and I saw a bunch of their pods around the neighborhood. I used their storage services. I've been dropped off the container, I loaded it up, they took it away and they'd store it for a year for me. I booked online and was trying to make sure that the pod would fit in my driveway and was trying to figure where I was going to put it on my property. I really liked their website. It was very simple and easy to use. I got a medium-sized container. On the website, they gave an approximation for the size of pods depending on how many bedrooms are there. When it was all said and done, the pod I got has enough space.

PODS was one of the only local stores that we could use and the least expensive option for storage. We booked them over the phone and the reps were all good. However, that the timing of the customer service calling to let you know that there's a scheduled pick up is slightly off. I feel that they should be giving at least a week's notice as opposed to two days. However, I think that's in PODS' best interest as opposed to the client's best interest. If they do call a week before, then the client has that option to not roll into an additional month where there are no charges for keeping it longer. I relied upon that because I was notified that I would be given a call and an option to have it picked up on that day or to postpone it. I didn't realize that the result of that would be an additional charge. So, their complementary remind call was deceiving or I didn't understand the concept in its entirety.

First, I went into the store on the Beltway, and the girl there was so nice and helpful. She gave me her card, so when I was ready to book my PODS, I just called her. I already knew what size I needed, which was the biggest container that they had.

I saw a POD in the neighbor's driveway and got the phone number from that driveway. I like that I can load it up and unload it myself at my convenience. It's better than those little things that can be used for moving as those are too small. The price was a lot less expensive than the others. I was moving from Denver to Medford, Oregon so this way I didn't have to worry about driving the truck. I had the pod shipped, then I drove to Medford and got it unloaded there. The drivers were really great. Nothing was broken during the delivery.

One part was into our new house in Florida and another part to North Carolina, where PODS took our stuff. It was hard for them to adjust but it worked out well. I moved from Hawaii to Utah, and I wasn't sure how many PODS I needed, so I had two of the larger, 16-foot containers brought in. They put one container in the backyard and the other one in the front yard. However, when I got ready, I only filled one container because the people that bought our home bought all our furniture. Then the PODS guys came and got the unused container. It's worked that good. I knew I had to have the hauling and pay somebody. In fact, they charged me for hauling, but I didn't have to pay any penalties, and that was really good of them. The drivers only phoned for a short time, but they seemed to be very good, friendly, and professional. I've already recommended PODS to three people.

Over a year ago, I got containers for storage from PODS and booked them online. It was pretty simple and easy to navigate the website. I got two containers, a large one and a smaller one. I could've used two large ones instead of the small and large. I underestimated the amount of space I needed. But everything was good. The pods weren't leaking and were not damaged. One gentleman called for directions, the driver asked me where to put the containers. I showed him where to put them, and he dropped them right there. Everybody was pleasant.

Six months ago, we availed of PODS' moving and storage services. We chose them primarily because we had a bad experience before when things went into storage with a regular mover. You do a double move and things get broken and lost. There was also some price advantage with PODS. I booked with them over the phone and had some follow-up too. We talked with their reps, described what we had, and got an estimate of what it would take which was two 16-foot containers. We also went and used the PODS website to find someone to help us pack both the containers.

I called PODS and told them when I wanted the container and where it would be picked up. But it got screwed up and they didn’t pick it up. Their computer had gone down, and my order came out of the system. Then it said I canceled it. They said I had ordered two pods, which I hadn’t. And the man who dropped off the original pod called me and he said, “Do you have two pods?” And I said, “No.” And he goes, “You better call them.” So I called PODS and they fixed it. They found a glitch and straightened it out. They were a week late picking it up and it was kind of an inconvenience, but they were good to me. They got here when they said they were coming. The guy that picked it up was great. He was friendly, cooperative and answered questions, if I had any. He was really nice.

Do not use PODS. I was just contacted by pods after 14 months of using them and they sent me to collections and are trying to ruin my credit, I paid 2700 dollars for one pod rental with out of state delivery. Everything was included in my contract, including the re delivery fee that I paid all up front. I called corporate and they told me I was correct and that they were having a computer glitch and they apologized. Now 14 months later, they send me to collections for their mistake, I disputed these charges with my bank 14 months ago, and my bank gave me the money back.

My experience with PODS was all right. I booked with them over the phone after looking online and getting the information. I told their representative what I needed and they did what they were supposed to do on time.

The people there unloaded what they were supposed to get and it was picked up. Everything was wonderful. It's a very helpful service and the quality was 1000%.

We went with PODS because of the convenience that they gave us in the customer service. We've used them twice in the last couple of years. We used them to go cross country in order to take some material from California to Texas. And before that, from Chicago into California. We used the 16-foot container on both occasions, and it was the correct size for our needs. We kept going back and forth to make sure we could get our things, and PODS' customer service representatives were always extremely helpful, capable and efficient. The drivers who picked up our container were extremely friendly and good to work with. They were very efficient and capable of getting things out effectively. Overall, our experience has been excellent.

We got a pod container delivered to our house while we were installing new carpet. So, we got to empty out the house, put all the stuff out in the pod, prep the floors and have the carpet installed. We chose PODS most importantly because of the size, and then based on it, the price. A number of others had sizes that wouldn't work for us and PODS had the size that would. It was a good size. It was big enough, but not too big. I can put the furniture and get everything in there but not have that packed ridiculously overstuffed.

We had a PODS storage unit set on site for a few months while we were doing some remodeling in our condo association. I've used PODS years ago when I was moving personally and they were convenient so I went with them again. I booked over the phone and had an excellent interaction with the representative. I really liked PODS. Everything was done accordingly and it was great. I needed storage because I don't have a vehicle to move things myself and I was looking for PODS to do all that. I made the booking over the phone as I don't like booking online because I don't think it's user-friendly. Also, I do a lot of my work, personal and business, while at work. So, it's easier and more efficient for me to call and get a live voice. I got their smallest container but I wish there was a smaller one. However, their cost is okay. Their drivers called me and told me where they were going to drop it off and where I wanted the opening to be. So, they came and picked up my things, took it to storage, and then they dropped it back off when I got into another house. Overall, it has been a positive experience. They did what they were supposed to do and it was on time.

When we moved down there, my husband's company paid for the move and so went to a big moving company. Then, when we moved back, we didn't want to have that experience again. PODS is the only name we knew because we heard about them before so we booked a pod. My husband called and got the quote and then we booked over the phone. We had to change dates at one point and that was smooth. The communication was really good. They moved our things from Florida to Tennessee and stored them as well. The pods themselves were good. Plus it's half the cost. Overall, they went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything that we needed.

I had rented a 16-foot container from PODS and at that time, they were pretty much the only service of that type in the area. It got packed a little bit every now and then, but it was fine. I stored my stuff in the unit and whenever I needed to get it, which wasn't very often, it was always available. At the end, I had contact with Al who's a very nice man and I enjoyed interacting with him quite a bit. I have and I would recommend PODS if anybody asked.

I booked the quote with PODS online but I booked the actual service through the phone. The people I spoke with were great. When we had it delivered, it was a pretty tight spot and the drivers did an excellent job. They were timely and efficient. I was very pleased with the service, and I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

We rented pods for a move that includes picking them up with a switch-out between days. I needed three pods and could only fit one at a time at my destination where we left, and I could only do two at a time at the destination that we were moving to, but I had three big pods. I would have preferred at one point to have had a horizontal rod at the back of the pod, to be able to hang things instead of side by side. I understand why PODS does it side to side length-wise in the pod, but that made it difficult to fill the pods because we needed to hang stuff and it was very difficult tacking the pods with stuff on the hanging rods that they had. It would have been much better to have had them crosswise, instead of length-wise. That cost me some room in the pods and we ended up having to throw away furniture, exercise equipment, and memorabilia in the end because we didn't have any more room in there and had to be out of our house.

We live in Pennsylvania and we were moving to Arizona. We did a lot of research and PODS was the cheaper of the companies. Everyone was very courteous and polite. Their rep who I talked to was very friendly. I told her how much I had and she said, "You're better off going to Vegas with the one you have.” They call up before they drop off or pick up the pod and they're careful where they're placing the pod. They packed it tight and nothing moved nor broken. It looked the same way as they packed it when we opened up the door when we got out here. In addition, the drivers were very professional and I've been telling people about PODS. It's a very good company.

I booked online and there was an online sales chat and they guided me through the process. It was fairly intuitive and fairly easy just to do it. And everything else I did was online as far as delivering it back to me and picking it up.

At some point, there was a message that came up that said to continue to invoice. I had to call in with a certain order number but other than that, it was fine. The rep was very helpful. It took about 15 minutes and that was it. They gave some guidance on the container size that we need but what we originally got was too small. But, it was easy to get a second pod ordered and ready to go.

I had to hire freelancers to help me at each end and it was ridiculous.

I got storage from PODS and they were great. It was sweet when I booked my PODS online. Everybody took care of everything I needed. I ordered the big, 15 x 8 container. It was the perfect size and seemed sturdy. However, the locking mechanism was difficult to use for some of my employees. They just didn't know how to squeeze it. But after I showed them, they were like, "Well, duh." The delivery service and the pickup were awesome. The PODS guys were right on time and it was nice. It was a good experience.

I had heard good things about PODS. It was a familiar name to me and since I was going such a great distance from the east coast to the west coast I thought it was the most cost-effective way to do it. So, I rented a pod from them in North Carolina and then filled it myself. I had it shipped to the ztate of Oregon and stored at their facility in Wilsonville, Oregon until I found a place to go. I used the online and over the phone booking because I had to talk to somebody about dates and the cost. One time, I had to access my pod and I did that online and it's a pretty good system. I also talked to a rep and that went fine. They did what they said they were gonna do with the exception of the billing. I was under the impression that the billing was going to be in a three step process however it all just dropped at once. So that was a little bit disconcerting but it wasn't a problem.

The movers and us found a hole on top of the POD. We reported the problem to POD on January 24th. I have yet to hear on my claim. They were very quick to ask for money. I will never use POD again and recommend if you must use them inspect the whole pod before accepting and storing your valuables.

We were moving from Maryland to Oregon and PODS worked really well for us by being able to load one pod and send it out, and load another then send it out. It wasn't storage but stretched out moving. So, instead of having everything ready to load into a moving van in one day, we were able to load it at our convenience. We stretched it out and it worked really good. We got two 16 ft and that was perfect. All the drivers, the pick-up and drop off people were all great, very personable and helpful. Since we're stretched out, we flew to Oregon and waited for the second pod. I needed to reschedule and some gal I talked to on the phone said all the words that she had done but did not hit the 'do it' button. She didn't really reschedule it.

I went to where PODS' storage place is and the person who was there loading up pods said that I can't order from there and that I had to do it online. There's pods and people everywhere but were only going in and out and they had no interaction at the center. There was a phone number on the door, so I called them. The PODS people were fine. They delivered and picked the pod up when they said they would. I took my furniture from the house, put it in PODS, did a remodeling and then moved the furniture back in. The twelve-footer that I got was the correct size and the driver who picked it up was nice. He dropped it off, put it where we wanted it and went on his way. The experience went smoothly.

They came within two days and took it. And then, it took them two weeks to move it. Going with PODS was cheaper and easier than renting a U-Haul to drive down myself. In fact, the final amount was a little less than what they had originally quoted me.

I had a great experience with PODS, no problems at all. They’ve done everything they said they were going to do and everything came out great. The people I talked to on the phone were very pleasant. They got what I needed to do and when I ask for something, they would call us up and tell me about what was going on with that. I didn’t need anything any bigger for what I was storing and something definitely smaller would never work. So I had to have it delivered and then they picked it up and stored it for me until we were ready to move. Then when we got ready to move, I ordered a 16-footer and they brought it and I finished loading it. I had enough area in that to put the rest of my furniture. I had a three-bedroom house with a lot of stuff.

I was not at all convinced that I could have gotten a half trailer in there, so closed quarters on the shipping end was a big consideration for me. The driver in New Jersey was fantastic. He called when he was about an hour out so I knew exactly when he was gonna be there. And I was super nosy about how the podzilla thing works. I went out and watched him do the whole drop off thing. And he was very helpful and very friendly about explaining how everything worked. He was also very mindful. He didn't drive over the cobblestone edge of my mom's driveway. He was very careful to not damage anything.

I’ve used PODS before when I moved from another town and they're fantastic. Booking with them online was very convenient and the drivers were absolutely awesome. Recently I had a pod for a couple of months. They didn’t have the 16 feet container and it was a scenario that didn’t play out very well. I only got the pod because I was ordered to do it. I had an inspection when the house was sold and the pod was what was in the garage. When I realized that I was gonna have to have more than one pod and I didn’t have a place to go to put the pod, I decided to go another route. When you add rental cost plus two or three pods then you’re gonna get into some money. Other than that, it's very efficient overall.

It's all been fine with the Customer Service, too. I had to contact them and the rep solved the problem I had. In addition, the driver was good. But the containers were well made and the method of moving the containers was well thought out, and drivers of the trucks that picked up and delivered the containers seem well trained and professional.

PODS was much cheaper than a regular moving truck, or even if I hauled it down myself. If I rented a U-Haul and drove it for 1,100 miles towing a car, PODS would cost the same without the insurance, paying for gas and me driving for 2 days towing a car. So I got an 8x16 container which they had to pick up and move to Florida from Jersey.

PODS was first-class. I chose them for their reputation and they did a cross-country move for me from Alabama to Florida. I got their largest container and it worked out fine but I could've used one a little bit bigger. Nevertheless, I had an unbelievably good experience all the way through the whole project. They charged me exactly what they said they were gonna do and they did exactly what they said. They were on time, too. The people who delivered the containers were very congenial and very polite. They made sure that they got it exactly where I wanted it. And the same way when they delivered it - it was outstanding. I also had to call and change a delivery date once and they worked with me. I don't have any complaints at all. I would recommend them to family or anybody.

We filled everything out and they called me to verify some of the information. The driver was very nice and very helpful. He told me how to pack it to make it a better load. Also, they came out when they said they would for the pickup. Then they delivered our container on time and put it exactly where we wanted it. They were very efficient and very professional, and everything worked out perfectly for us. PODS is great to do business with and I might be using them again.

This company is ridiculous. I rented two pods storage in July. I paid my bill every single month. When it came time for a 200 mile move in January, Pods needed a weeks advance notice and my Pods were both delivered a day later than scheduled. I was charged well over $2000 for this service and was told that the Pods fees would be pro rated and would stop upon pick up. We unloaded the pods the day they were delivered and I called to schedule a pick up and they had to have two days notice to come back and pick up the empty containers. They charged me to drop off containers in both locations and pick up in both locations, plus $99 for each empty pod to be picked up and when I called to schedule both pick ups, the customer service agent only scheduled for one of my Pods containers to be picked up. I had to wait another two days for them to pick up my second pod.

We had used PODS before and got their moving services again for my sister. I booked with them online and their rep helped me, but then I had to do it over the phone for the pickup because the online carriers weren't working. I'd be using PODS again.

I hired PODS to bring a container, deliver it to a certain location, and keep it there for about 3 months during a remodel. I went to their website, put in my zip code, selected the size that was appropriate for my needs from the several sizes that they got, and I got a delivery date and a timeframe. The driver who picked up the container was friendly and polite. I called the customer service to see if they needed me there when the pod would be delivered and they said no. Then I called them back when it was time to pick up the pod and they set a date. Both calls were fine.

We were building a house and we moved. We sold our house a lot quicker than we thought and so we needed a place to store all of our stuff and that was the easiest thing. PODS was cheaper than renting local storage facilities and it worked out great. I was careful in all of our furniture because it’s not climate controlled so I used furniture wrap and everything stayed fine.

PODS insurance is NOT recommended based on my personal experience. I will be very surprised if they pay anyone for anything that is happening inside the container unless the container is crushed and damaged. So why waste your money with these guys. Not worth it. ALSO, make sure you check your BILL multiple times. They charged me $611 extra and I had to call to reverse it.
