We liked PODS' service. Their reps were outstanding. Everything I asked for, they did with no questions. They brought the pod, we loaded it, they then took it away and stored it, and then they got it back to us. They were on time and cleaned up after. Everything they did was perfect. We had no problems with their pod. It looked like it was brand new. The drivers were amazing in how they drove those trucks and got the pod exactly where I wanted it put.

I was looking for a storage or moving company and decided to try PODS. I booked a 12-foot moving container over the phone then I found out that I needed a bigger one. But by the time I was into this thing, I already put my $5,000 in and it was too late to turn back. PODS is expensive and it's unfortunate that I found out only after I spent a lot of money. If I had to do it again, I wouldn’t go towards their direction. But the container was clean and though it had a few dents, that didn’t prevent me from doing what I needed to do.
Their drivers also kept in touch with me. The one who delivered my container was very pleasant and he represented PODS well but the second driver who picked up my container in North Carolina was rude and when I turned around, he was gone. I am glad that he wasn’t my first impression of their company because I would’ve made him pick that equipment up and take it back with him immediately. He didn’t say anything to me, but his demeanor was not good.

PODS was put in faster and they're more reliable so I didn't have to worry about my stuff being taken. Initially, we needed them for moving but events happened and it turned into storage. I got the smallest container and it was the right amount for what I needed. The driver dropped it off and I put my stuff in the container. Then it was shipped off the next day. The driver contacted me each step of the way and he told me they were late because of the snow. My experience with them is not bad overall but it could have been better. After everything was situated, PODS still charged my mother's account for $419 so she had to get that disputed.

We moved our daughter for her college apartment and then had the stuff stored. PODS had three girl staff in there and everything was stacked right to storage. There was plenty of room in the container. Things were right on time and I had no problems with it. Working with the driver has been wonderful. Everything was great from the delivery to the pickup, to the storage.

I had a very good experience with PODS. The other company I saw had small containers then I saw PODS on TV and it looked good. So, I called and the rep was really friendly and nice. I felt like I'd known her for years. She didn't mind me calling back a million times to ask some questions. She had a lot of patience and that was great. I got two pods, one was a 16-footer and the other was a 12-footer. My house isn't real big and I had it redone so I used one pod for furniture and the other for boxes. I had to keep them in the driveway for a while. And it gets a little pricey when you have to keep it but I had to do it. It was the easiest thing to do. The pods got nice lock and keys that I could use, it was easy to lift the door, and they didn't have a leak or anything.
At the end, I called PODS to pick them up. And once PODS got the message, they came shortly. They were always helpful and friendly. And the driver was real careful. We have an awkward driveway where I moved so he had to really maneuver that carrier. And he knew how to maneuver that thing very well, it was amazing. One of these days I might need them again.

We tried to book PODS' storage service online but had some issues, so we wound up calling customer service and getting their take there. We got the largest containers they offered and it was clean and well taken care of. I didn't have any issues with getting anything set up, however, there were some issues with the delivery because of how far we were from the location for the new address. We weren't able to get both units delivered like we had requested, but we worked through it.
When we requested the PODS to be delivered, there was a certain way that I wanted them delivered at the new residence. Due to the number of drivers that were available at the time, rather than both units being delivered at one time, they had to deliver one unit, go back an hour and a half, pick up the other unit and then come back. That was a bit of a discouragement and it would have been nice to have both PODS here at the same time while the movers were here to get everything unloaded. We had to unload the second pod ourselves. But the team who came was pleasant and did what we asked them to do.

I was remodeling and PODS was the first company I called for storage. I was more comfortable with knowing who they were. I had a great experience on the phone ordering the pod and their rep was really helpful. I got the 16-feet container and it's more than adequate. Though it looked like it has been used often, the interior was clean as a whistle and the exterior was like it was set in the future. Then the drivers had good timing and they called when I thought they were coming. I would use PODS again.

I had repairs done from water damage and I needed to move my furniture out of my house. But, I couldn't get it all back on the same day so I got a pod and had some of it moved in there for a short time. PODS was easy to use. Booking them online was straightforward and they were clear about what their charges were. I got the 12-feet container and I was surprised that part of it was made out of wood, but it worked fine and my items were secured. The driver called ahead of time and left messages, but I wasn't at home. But, I described to them where I wanted to put it and they went ahead and did their stuff and I didn't have to be there. I was also able to print out invoices for the proof of payments for my insurance company who paid for half of the fee. Then as soon as the pod was empty, I scheduled the pick-up because they couldn't pick it up for several days if I'd waited until the end of my lease.

I saw PODS in a driveway years ago and it's a great invention. I talked to the drivers about the start-up because I was always interested in that kind of entrepreneurship and they did a heck of a job. I have a small construction business so I often need storage for the tools and materials that I use. I booked PODS online for that which was pretty easy and that's one of the good points of the setup for an old Adonis like myself. Besides the online ease, sometimes I had to give specific directions to the dispatch and they were great.

When you're going to order the first time they tell you that it's easy to schedule a final delivery and you can schedule the delivery 24 to 48 hours before. When I tried to schedule my final delivery, the website was showing my delivery as schedule, but on the next day it was not showing anymore. I call them and I was told that it takes at least 5 days because of the distance. Since they have my address and zip code on the first day the website should not give me the option to schedule 2 days after the day that you requested. Now I'm getting into a new home without any furniture for a week because of that. You need to search everywhere on the website to find something about the time that they need to deliver the container.

We booked PODS online and got the 16-foot container for storage. It was just about the right size and there was very little leftover that we needed. They brought the stuff and they took it away and then they brought it back. The guys were quite fun and charming and explained how the machine worked. It's really a cool machine to look at and see how it works. I'm always happy when somebody does what they say they're going to do, on time, effectively, and without trouble. They were very professional and I was very satisfied.

I booked PODS for their reputation, price, and convenience. The PODS rep was all positive and informative. I needed the storage on site, at my house, and the rep told me what I needed to know and worked with me to accomplish what I needed. The driver was very professional and very good at what he did. He placed the container exactly where I wanted it. He overcame some obstacles which would have been a challenge to some, but he managed to do it. He knew what he was doing. I would definitely use PODS again if I have the need.

We were moving and decluttering the house so we needed storage services. We got PODS since with them, there won’t be a need to load and unload many times. Plus, they delivered. The container we got was the right size and they were able to accommodate us when we had to reschedule. Their drivers were also real nice, quick and responsive. They took care of our needs and everything was very positive and easy.

I am a happy, satisfied customer PODS. I booked the pod over the phone and then they picked it up the day I left Arizona. They stayed in touch with me online through the move telling me about where it was, when it was and delivering it here to where I am in Florida. The pod I got was in great shape and the right size for my move, it’s a large move. And the whole truck mechanism blew my mind. I couldn’t have been happier with the whole move. I would use them again and again.

I rented a pod for about a month for storage and for moving. The ability to have my stuff stored there and have it delivered when the time came were the reasons I chose PODS. I booked online and got the biggest size that they have. There was a leak in the pod after it was delivered and somebody came out and fixed it. It was a great experience and I would do it again.

I moved from one house to another and I rented three pods and they stored them for several months in between. They were cheaper and I was able to load them myself and put them away. I should have gone with a larger one, instead of three, but the pods were clean and secured. I booked them online and then I had to speak to some reps as well. I had some minor glitch with the place and things one time. I had to make a last minute change and the reps were very good about it. Also, the drivers worked with me even though they were making last minute changes and they were picking one up and dropping off another. It’s great and I'm very pleased. The experience with PODS has been easy and they're efficient.

I booked with PODS on the phone a year and a half ago and they delivered a pod to my place. I also used their storage for a year. I had all good and positive experiences both by phone and the service itself. Also, they were very responsive in terms of billing. They were fabulous on all counts.

I am in a rural area and PODS was the only temporary storage company that would come to me. I booked online the largest unit they had which was perfect for what I needed it for. They did an awesome job and they had the pod out here when I expected it. They had to put it in a unique location but they were able to put it there and it worked out great. The unit was in our garage for about three weeks. Then they picked it up when I expected it and when I called them and asked them to. The guy who picked it up was new to the company but he was very good. I was charged correctly and I didn't have a problem at all. I got a couple of emails from PODS asking me if I had any questions and to let them know if I had any problems. I followed up too and it was a good experience. I would definitely recommend PODS.

We were doing some home repairs and I did the quick quote for PODS online. I booked a pod but I found out that I didn't need to store stuff after all so I ended up cancelling. The driver came to pick up the pod and the soonest he could make it was two days later. He was very nice and helpful. Then the manager called me and said that I would get all my money back so that was very good. Everything worked real smoothly.

I had a very positive experience with PODS. Everything was delivered on time and they followed the price quote as described. I was moving from a small one-bedroom apartment across the country. Because I didn’t have a lot of things, I didn’t need a big moving company. I also needed about a month of storage due to the lag time when I was moving into my new apartment. PODS was the best option for me since they provide both of those services. I booked them over the phone and I had a great time talking to their rep. She made out exactly when I was going to be charged for each of the different processes because you don't get charged all at once. You get charged as each step happens. She laid that out to me and that ended up being accurate. She also helped me determine what size of pod I needed. I got the smallest container and everything was fine with it.
The drivers were very professional and nice too. However, when they delivered the pod unit, PODS had my address wrong and so their driver had to reroute. And then when they came to pick up the pod, they had the address wrong again. It was a spelling error. But other than that, I had no issues. The first guy who dropped the container off at my apartment in Maryland had some difficulty because of some trees overhead but that ended up being fine. Also, my stuff was in the same position as when I packed it. My experience with PODS was pretty flawless and easy, although it would have been nice to be able to rent some moving supplies like ropes and moving blankets, and not buy them on your own.

I needed the pod and the storage from one house to another and last January, I booked with PODS over the phone. I told them how much furniture I had and the reps were always good. The drivers were all very courteous and did a good job as well. The experience was always good and hopefully, I’m not moving anymore but I would use them again.

We rented a unit from PODS for a personal move. We went with PODS based on personal knowledge and personal reference. I booked the unit over the phone and my interactions with the rep were very professional and thorough. Everything was explained clearly and the paperwork was emailed properly. I ended up hiring a moving company too. It was a complicated situation. We were making a temporary move and doing a permanent move afterwards. The 16-foot container that we got was exactly the right size and suitable for what we needed at the time.
I was impressed with the driver. He was friendly, courteous and professional. I have a narrow driveway with a lot of overhanging trees and he was very careful and skillful in maneuvering that thing he was driving in there. I was worried that he was going to bust up my trees, but he did a great job. On both ends, at the delivery and pickup of the unit, the same situation occurred. I called Customer Service once while the unit was in storage to confirm a delivery date or billing but that was just a minor issue that was handled properly over the phone.

I moved a house into storage and kept it there for a couple of years till I bought another house. My experience with PODS has been positive, easy, and convenient. They were competitively priced and I ended up doing the actual booking online, which went smoothly. I got a 12-feet container. But, there was one little damage to a lawn chair because it shifted due to the way it was packed by the movers. But other than that, everything was fine. Their drivers were all very friendly and nice. I had also called them a couple of times cause it was in storage a long time and we had them pull it out and put it in the parking lot so I could get some stuff out of it.

Everything was good with PODS. They always made sure they notified by email when they added money to my credit card for the monthly bill which was helpful. The rep got me exactly what I wanted and made recommendations. Also, the driver was courteous and careful with my stuff. The container was clean and looked like a storage building. Well getting PODS was supposed to make my life easier, well it wasn't!!! My house buyer was to pay my rental fee, I was told they could call and make payment with login ID and password! Well he called was told he was all set, then when payment was due I got a message saying payment was denied. When I called I was told I needed to sign something for him to make payment!
Needless to say we were doing a quick sale on house. We were to be out within 45 days and it was very hectic and difficult for us to begin with to pack up a house that was lived in since the 70's in 45 days and then to deal with this nonsense from PODS! Then we changed our destination and were told it would be less money only to be told when payment was up that it was more money than was last told. I just think they either need better training or they have to have a clue what is going on! Sad part is I had a few employees that were so trying hard to make my life easier! How sad! I did customer service for many years and had my work been this awful I would have been fired! Shame on you PODS!

We used PODS and then the moving truck to eliminate having to move everything on one day and having something happen and run out of time or not being able to fill the truck. The rep I spoke with on the phone was good and there were no problems. They only had two sizes available in our area so we got the smaller ones. We partly wished we had gotten the bigger one, but it was too big and we weren’t ready to move everything. It would be nice if there was a medium size because we weren’t moving all of our stuff and we could have put more. We just weren’t ready to fill that 16 foot one.
The pick-up driver didn’t seem willing to walk around and find the best spot to put the pod. Also, he didn’t provide any recommendation or guidance. We were worried after they dropped it off that it wasn’t leaving enough room on the street for cars to pass, but it ended up being fine. Other than that, the experience was helpful overall and we were glad that we did it.

There was a period of four to six weeks between leaving my house and moving into my new house. I had to have permanent storage somewhere so I picked PODS. They were more easily acceptable and their plan worked for what I was headed to do. I also hired their people to do my loading and unloading. I booked some stuff online but I also called and had somebody talking me through. Everybody I worked with was very helpful. I got the 16-feet container size and they packed two PODS full of my furniture and things from the garage then unloaded those PODS for me. I had another storage building where I had already put stuff so they went there, loaded all up and brought it over to my house then unloaded it once again for me.
The container was very sturdy and reasonably clean. There was no debris in it at all. I had trouble with one of the locks that I couldn't get the door slide open and shut. I don't remember having that trouble when we loaded up, but it was a big deal when we unloaded it. I had to get a hammer to tap it to get it to move. But other than that, the container was in good shape. Then also, I got moving blankets to wrap my furniture in that came from the people who did the moving part for me. I put them in the pod, thinking that they were supposed to go back to PODS. I called PODS to see if we could get the blankets back to the other people but it was already a long shot. I ended up paying for them because we couldn't find them. I was anxious about everything but it all worked out really well and I was very pleased. If anybody has to move, PODS works.

My sister used PODS about four years ago. And so, when we moved this time I just went straight to PODS. I called them to book the service and so far, everything's been great. Booking was easy, and every time I needed to change something up or ask something out of the norm, they went above and beyond helping me. All the drivers who did pick up and drop off were also excellent and very professional. We got a 16-foot container and it was in good shape. We had it in storage and had PODS pull it out on Friday so we can add more stuff to it.

I was moving and needed a container. I went online to get services from PODS. Then I called them and got a confirmation. Their representative was helpful. I got the 16-foot container which was the biggest one that the rep had that time, but it wasn’t enough for the things that I had. The container also came with a couple of tie-ons that were very simple. The drivers were very nice guys, as well, and were on time. Overall, I had a good moving experience with PODS. Everything was within the limits and they did a good job.

I used PODS both for moving and storage. I booked online, had three 16 foot containers delivered and loaded them. Then PODS stored the containers for me and brought them back later. I had a little bit of problem due to availability but their reps were very helpful. They called the local storage and got an availability for me, so I was happy about that. Using PODS was more efficient than using any other company since I just moved my stuff in once rather than moving them to a regular storage, unload them then reload them again. All in all, everything was easy with PODS.

I have had a very negative experience with PODS and I will not use this service again. First, the container they sent me was leaking and the rain overnight soaked my sofa and carpet. I phoned them the following morning to swap the container. I was so distressed as I had to pay helpers for the loading and now I have to pay helpers again for the swap. But what made it worse is the Customer Service response to my distress. I was upset and I told her I choose PODS instead of Uhaul and I expected excellent service per the good online reviews but the Customer Service responded by telling me "maybe you should have used Uhaul". I was so upset and I asked to speak to a Supervisor and after a few minutes my phone went off. I called again and Tina (not sure if name is correct) was of great help, apologised and transferred me to Brianna the Supervisor who promised that someone will contact me.
So far I have not heard from anyone from PODS apart from the charges on my card. I had to pay Helpers again to swap my stuff to the container they delivered. This was not my fault that they gave me a leaking container. Thinking my nightmares with PODS is complete I was wrong. Due to the floods, I had to wait for delivery, and I understood and I patiently waited until the office was open again and my heart goes to all of the people in Florida who were affected and when I rang again I made sure to as the Customer Service personnel if he was ok and his family. But again, rescheduling my delivery, I requested for morning delivery due to parking issues, I clearly told customer service that my new home parking is a problem and morning is the best time to deliver. But when it came to delivery day, I was given afternoon slot.
I phoned customer service 3 times that morning begging them if possible to deliver in the morning coz that is what I was promised but my plea was falling on deaf ears. They were not interested in my desperation. All they spoke about is the scheduled time. Not even an apology coz this was not what I was promised. I work in a field where I deal with Clients and I will never treat them the way PODS customer service treated me. PODS record telephone conversation and I am sure if am lying they can listen back and check the many times I have called Customer Services. I begged for a service which was not provided free but I have paid more than $1000 to be so frustrated.
But not all Customer Service personnel were unhelpful, Scott, Jeff and another gentleman were really helpful. The Drivers at Shreveport were amazing too. As for me, I will never use or recommend PODS to any of my friends. Maybe I should have listened when that Customer Service PODS person told me I should have used Uhaul. Maybe she was right. I would appreciate a response to my complaint.

We stored our things while my house was being remodeled. I used the three-room pod service of PODS for the three rooms in my house. I booked the service online and doing this was very nice and easy. The customer service was very good. The rep helped me out a lot and explained some of the procedures that I didn’t know so that I could understand what others were doing. I got the largest container that they had and it was the right size for our needs because it was full after we had loaded our things on it. The container was clean and everything on it worked well. The young driver who picked it up was super. I was surprised to see a little fellow handle that big storage unit, but he did a beautiful job. The service was a little expensive, but other than that, I had a very nice and good experience with PODS and I would recommend anyone else to go that route.

We moved 45 minutes from our old place and used PODS for convenience since we’ve used them before. My wife booked them online and got the 10x10 pod. The driver called me up to let me know that he was pulling up and I showed him where to park the pod. The experience has been quick, easy and no hassle.

I needed the storage pod to put stuff in during a remodel and I talked to a guy from PODS over the phone. There's a little more detail to booking it than I thought there would be but my interaction with him was very good. The delivery guy was also very nice and the container was in good shape when it came. It was clean and the door was rolled up. I had the largest container they could get me and it would have been the right size for us but we ended up putting some stuff in the storage shed that got cleaned out so we didn't need as much space. Everything worked good and they picked the container up on time. But we had an issue when the homeless parked a car right in front of the pod and we couldn't find her. So the PODS reps came back the next day, which went over a day, and they didn't charge me for about a month so that's awfully nice of them. PODS was very efficient and they provided excellent service.

I used PODS before and read some reviews on them. I booked online, which was great, easy and efficient. I rented one of the medium size storage for about a year. All the drivers were courteous. They verified where I wanted them to put the pod and put it right as to where I wanted to have it. When I called back to have a pod picked up, they made sure the driver was here the time they said he was coming and they gave me a courtesy call that they were on their way. Then they took care of the pod the same when they were back. They also sent me an email to do a survey and I had three people from the company who called me and made sure that it was a good experience. It was excellent and I’d recommend them to a friend.

I got the 8 by 16 container which was in great shape and clean. The driver who picked-up the container was very polite, real quick and efficient. He put the container right where we wanted it. It was a smart choice going with PODS. Everything worked out fine.

PODS was the easiest to get a quote from. I just got it right online and then I set it up on a Sunday afternoon for the delivery next morning. The other companies that I looked into weren't so easy to navigate and I had to call and they weren't available that day. The guy who brought in the container was great. I had to hold the phone line out of the way so he'd get the container to where I wanted it. He helped me move the basketball back where I didn't think about and put it right where we needed it. I also talked to the guy who picked the container up over the phone when he was on his way. I told him I wasn't home and he just came and got it.

We moved from Florida to New York and we needed a POD. I always heard that PODS was good, convenient, and their price wasn’t too bad. I booked over the phone and their agent answered all my questions and handled everything real good. I got the biggest container they had and it worked great for my needs. The drivers came in early than what they said. I would use PODS if I were to move again or everywhere we go. Everybody did a good job and I'm very satisfied.

This is the second time we've used PODS. This time around we stored our household goods and then had them redelivered. We had a very good experience coming from Hawaii for a military move. So, we tried them again because we needed some place that was climate controlled and we projected we need the stuff in storage for at least a year. We used the large 16-foot container and it fit our needs. When we finally brought it out of storage, we found that the military had some culpability in paying some of the storage fees and things for us. PODS problem management team, Kyle and Sherilyn, were both great in getting the documentation that we needed to support that. The PODS system was upgraded and our account number was changed in the middle of our storage time, so we couldn't access our records from the earlier periods. They were great in tracking that time.
Also, the local storage area that we had our things stored at was excellent. The people at the OKC storage was fantastic. Kevin and the workers there treated us very well. We had the container pulled out a couple of times to rearrange the stuff. My only problem with PODS was dealing with the internet quote and the phone quote and getting them to stick to what we were told. The first time we got the bill, it was supposed to be $119 a month which included tax. First time we got a bill, it was $167, and it took me a while to get it back down to $119. Then they had to change it to 20 more dollars a month.
In the US, you're used to the customer being right, and they were saying that we didn't read the fine print and that they can raise the rates if they want. That turned us off. I'm not sure if we would ever do PODS again because it was just a lot of emotional ups and downs with them. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending PODS, but I would give some caution to know what you're getting into before you sign the contract. It worked for us, but it was very stressful at times.

I booked a pod through the website, and I also called them because at times I needed to actually speak to somebody and didn't always have access to the internet during the course of the move. Both experiences were efficient. The driver who delivered the pod was courteous and pleasant. I appreciated the heads up when he was within a few minutes. The container I requested didn't hold as much as I had expected it would. But in retrospect, it was good because I wasn’t moving more. Overall, I had a great and wonderful experience with PODS. They were organized and it was what I expected.

We were moving from Virginia to California. Originally, we’re going to load up like a U-Haul and drive that across the country. But the SUV we had was too big and couldn’t be attached to the back. What would happen is that we’re going to have to drive the U-Haul across the country, come back, and then drive the SUV too. We wanted to do it all at once, so we ended up booking a pod online and just ship it. That way, we only had to drive across once.
When the pod was dropped off, I was the only one home then. I just went out and the driver dropped it off with a big machine. We had a couple of days to fill it up, then PODS moved it to our apartment. Overall, it was easy and fast. Booking was done in 10 minutes. While we were barely able to fit everything, he was very happy with the whole experience. Everything was great.

My son used PODS with his move from college and because of that past experience, I used them again for storage and delivery of a pod to the new home. I went online and booked the 16 foot container but I had issues because the terminology they used on their website was a little confusing. Other than that, their customer service reps were very helpful especially with all the changes that I made to my schedule. They were very accommodating and tried to work around the schedule the best way possible. Then both the drivers were great as far as their placement of the pod and working with me on where it would go best when they delivered it. It was an easy and efficient transaction.

Most storage companies wanted to load a van, take it to their big warehouse, unload it, keep it for a month, then reload it into another van, and then bring it to my house and reload it. In my experience, oftentimes, movers either lose or damage things with all of that moving. I called PODS for a move of a primary residence from Virginia to North Carolina with one-month storage. I booked a 16-feet large container, and the service was good.
The drivers showed up, moved the pod and delivered when scheduled. And they were very good when we had to change that. However, PODS double-billed me on the storage but when I contacted them, they set up a claim and reimbursed me for it. They resolved it quickly but if I hadn’t looked at my bill very carefully though, I would not have noticed that. Overall, they provided a good service and the field people were excellent.

When I chose PODS for my move from Texas to Michigan, the price was one of my considerations. I also thought of its convenience as I can put everything in the pod and not have to drive a truck. I booked a 16-foot container over the phone. I was there when they came and watched what they were doing. They were nice and courteous and they made sure they’d drop it off exactly where I wanted it to be. It was a real smooth move and I was pleased with it. Everything was just what they said it would be. They were very good as far as giving me a call and telling me when they were going to be here. I’d recommend PODS to somebody if they were moving and I’d definitely call them again.

My company used PODS in the past. When I needed a pod for storage, I booked one of their 12-foot boxes online although I'm pushing 70 and I don't trust the internet. But it was fast and if a guy like me can get through it, anybody can. The person that dropped the pod off was a nice and friendly guy who knew what he was doing. He had some problem with whatever that offloads the pod but I've got construction guys here and they got it going in about 10 minutes. I used the pod for four weeks and PODS seems to know the business since the stuff came and was picked up when I asked. My experience with them was brief but it was better than I expected and it worked.

I booked the biggest pod online and doing that was fine, and the container I got was definitely clean. I had it at my property for a week, then I had them pick it up. It was then placed in a storage facility for three months, then it was dropped off back here for another week. But I should’ve done a better job of tying stuff down in the pod, as I didn’t think about it being high up on a truck and potentially rocking a little bit. But other than that, everything was what I expected it to be.
I spoke with the PODS people on the phone when they were either dropping off or picking up the pod and everybody I talked to there was fine. They were understanding and did a good job, so everything from the customer service perspective was great. The drivers did exactly what was needed and they knew how to deliver, pick up, and find my address. PODS was extremely helpful and they did exactly what I needed them to do. I’d definitely recommend PODS to a friend and they should keep doing what they're doing.

We like the convenience of PODS team coming to the house, aside from the storage area that they have, so my wife picked them and got the largest container. We loaded up the pod, they picked it up and then they stored it. After that, they placed the pod back at the location. Everything about customer service was done online and the best part about it was that we didn’t have to deal with rising charges. We had two storage units and then we had the pod. With the pod, the fee was solid throughout the whole three years that we had it and that's what made it so great.
The driver, who’s a gentleman, was confirming back with us on all the details. The only thing I was a little concerned about was that in the new house, there’s an incline on the driveway and the pod will be left there overnight. The gentleman placed the pod perfectly on the driveway, making it nice and sturdy. The entrance was on the top of the pod facing the house, so that way if anything shifted it would just be opening up the pod and taking things out like that. I would recommend PODS.

PODS is perfect for moving and storage needs. I booked their service over the phone and the rep was very good. The container I requested was the middle one but the date I needed was booked for that size, but he kept in touch with me once I'm available. The container fitted a lot of stuff and it was absolutely clean and sturdy. I also had a very nice driver. He was very accommodating since the instructions were wrong on how we had to park the pod and I needed to turn the other way. Also, we got a little mixed up on the date the container was supposed to come. I made a mistake so I called the number and the driver at the other end answered. And he was a good help to me.

I’ve seen PODS around. When my church had an emergency, we had to use their containers and PODS gave us good service. This time, I was moving to a two-bedroom place. I booked them online and the process was good and easy. Also, my questions had been answered before I could even ask them. I requested for a small container from them and it was just the right size. I still had a lot of space in the container. All three drivers whom I have interacted with were super employees. They were nice guys and they knew their stuff. They also took care of everything and didn’t do any damage to my things. I was pleased with them.
I’ve also received a text message and a call from PODS' customer service. They wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with their service and that the timing was right in getting the job done. I experienced superior service from PODS and I recommend them. Everything about them was great. I have a couple of other folks that are considering moving in the near future and they’ve already got the company’s number from me.

PODS dropped off a pod, stored it, and then moved it from Oregon to California. A friend of mine had used PODS in the past and had a favorable experience so I went with them as well. I called them and their rep was very good. However, the container was too small. It was filled to the brim. The drivers who picked up the pod was very good. PODS packed my stuff up in Schaumburg, Illinois. Then I hired moving staffers to load it. It came out to Portland and was in the storage unit in Tigard until I found a place. Since I was going so far away, I felt that using PODS would be the easiest for me. My experience with them has been phenomenal. I didn't mean to have the light bulb packed but they came in and packed it up and there wasn't a light bulb that was broken. The drivers were also very nice, on both ends. The customer service also called. They asked how were the moving staffers and how was my move.
However, I had issues. The homeowner's association on both ends were horrid. The person from the place I moved from, every time I changed the date, made me do an architectural drawing of where the pod would be and it's always in the driveway in the middle. They wanted high wood underneath the pod. They're so afraid that the driveway is going to get damaged. I called back the customer service of PODS and they told me it's automatically there under each leg and PODS provided a certificate of insurance. And that should be fine.
And here, they fined me $100 a day for the pod. They have detached garages and there's no driveway. They have to put the container in the guest spot in order to unload it so I'm really ticked. But under the circumstances, not knowing where I was going to end up, PODS is the best option there. If I have my own home and I park it in my driveway, I can leave it there as long as I want and pack it at my leisure. But for these homeowner's associations, it's really not that great. Not with any fault of the POD at all.

Granted, I needed the POD on a narrow South Philly street location. However, most all streets in South Philly are narrow. Home movers and other delivery trucks who do business in the area are familiar with the challenges and have found methods to make their business work despite the tight working conditions. But not PODS. So, after taking the day to wait for delivery, the driver stopped at the intersection of my block, walked down to where I was waiting and announced "I'm not coming down this street!", turned and left. Got on the phone with U-HAUL who provide a similar service and they assured me that they're familiar with the neighborhood and would be only too glad to have my business. Done.

We had something in our house that needed to be stored and we don’t want to move it twice, so we went online to book a 16” container at PODS. We wanted it to be picked up on a Sunday, but because of a glitch, it was pushed back to a Monday. When we booked online, it was letting us pick a Sunday, but it turned out you’re not supposed to be able to do that. And it's the same thing for when we were having it picked up for the final time. I saw one of my neighbors used PODS and I looked online for their number and then I gave them a call. We got 16-foot pods dropped off for some storage for us at our site. We got as many as we could have on-hand and we got about 16 of them. The drivers were really good and very helpful. The only downfall was when we called, it was in the summer and they didn’t have enough pods at that time to meet our needs. But other than that, it was a very good experience. I did some research after someone mentioned PODS to me, and I liked their attitude in the way they presented their company. I booked their 16 foot pod online and their website is nicely laid out and was very easy to follow. I then had them deliver a pod to my place, store it for seven weeks and then bring it out. The guy who delivered the pod to our original address was very cool. The guys who loaded the pod were also great but they were not as good at laying things out as they could have been. If my things have been laid out a little differently they could have fit everything in there. Also, they didn't come and pick the pod up on the day that we had arranged. A neighbor had to call them to be here. Then she called me back and told me that PODS came out that day and took the pod back. But overall, my experience with PODS was convenient and easy. I needed a storage and I went online to book PODS. It was really easy. The 16 feet container definitely handled all my needs. It was the right size for what we were doing. It was also clean when it was delivered. The guy who delivered it was very nice and chatted with us for a while in the rain while he waited for the rain to stop. We were relocating cross-country and chose PODS’ service after considering their reputation and the price. Their price was cheaper per square foot on the container, and the container was a little bit larger than the others. That's really what we needed. The size of the container was very important. I booked it over the phone and the representative who spoke with was very professional and helpful. The container was very clean and solid. It’s better structurally than I actually thought they were. They had it sit upright. Every four feet, they had vertical support rails with tie down straps in them spaced two feet apart. So it made it very convenient, easy for strapping things down and securing stuff once it was inside. And though I had minimal interaction with the drivers, they were very professional.
The only issue was that I didn’t realize when I requested the pickup date when they're going to come and get it from me, I figured they'd call when they'd come the next day. I didn’t realize it was a five-day wait where we were because of the volume. So that pushed back the time that we were going to have it delivered here in Arizona. Nevertheless, I've recommended PODS to a neighbor who's in the same boat. They're going to be moving from the east coast to here. They saw the pod and were asking me a bunch of questions. I said, “Absolutely. I would highly recommend and use them again.”

I used PODS for moving before I bought my house. Since I just had to move at one time, it was super convenient to move my things in to the pod and be done with it. I would always do the moving myself but I had PODS this time because it was there right in my driveway. I can go out the house into the pod, up on the truck, down from the truck, into the storage unit. Then I go back to the house and get more of the stuff in. Some people pay a really expensive big moving truck and pay each guy, the truck, and the distance. The pod was the average of the storage unit but less work. I moved apartments before with U-Haul van but now, I had a whole house. I called up PODS and the reps were very friendly. It’s unbelievable with customer service, the way they’d speak to me on the phone, so I ordered three largest size containers for the whole house.
Those PODS guys were excellent. Every time they came, I’d tip them because I was also happy with them and they were professional. The first guy was very particular about where I wanted the container. I had three different guys who came and they were all on top of their game like how I wanted it. They put the container on concrete, right my driveway. My sister is moving and I told her to get some PODS and that the trucking company would move me ten times as much than PODS. To lift the pod on a truck, take it off back and forth, drive it and gas it, was still cheaper than having to pay them to go in the house and bring in the pod. I was paying for the time and all the muscle I would have needed. All I’d do is pack and say what goes where.
I’ve had the most fantastic experience when moving with PODS and moving is a tough job. The most important that you're supposed to tie down is the front. I did everything also from the back on each layer, but I didn't tie the front and then the furniture shifted so when I went to pull up, the door wouldn't go up. The driver would not leave till that door came up and I was ready to get my stuff out so it was great. I love PODS. I was extremely satisfied and I wouldn't do any other way now that I had this experience.

I have used PODS twice and both times have been exceptionally great. I called in both times and the reps were very efficient and they got the information. The drivers always called us right before they were going to be there and they were always on time. They brought the pod and left it, and gave enough time for us to get things accomplished. We need storage potentially for long term. We’re going to have to divide our storage up into two different units. One for our temporary housing and then one once we buy our new house. I got the pricing information online which I appreciated and then booked the container on the phone. As a Delta employee we have a discount and they required me to call in to get the discount.
There were two POD drivers who dropped off the pods. I texted them on the phone as I was at work that day. And then when they came for pick up they were really helpful. Two of the pods were ready right away first thing in the morning and they grabbed those. And then one of the drivers said he would be coming back later on to get the last pod and I asked him to wait as late as he could and he did a great job. He gave me all afternoon to finish packing out and then he came and picked it up.
We got three 16 footers. It was still a little tight but it was what we needed. The containers were in good shape. With two of the pods the doors open really, really easy but with one of them the door was a little difficult to open and close but it wasn’t a big deal. Everything else was great and hopefully once we get the final two pods and our stuff everything will be good.

We rented one of PODS’ containers to be on campus with us for about two months. There's convenience in using this company. Their customer service was good, too, as they were able to help us quickly. We booked over the phone and the rep was able to locate a pod even though they were running short. The rep made a few phone calls and gave me a call back to say that she had found one for us. We were given a 16-foot pod which fit our things. The driver was friendly as well. He was able to set the container up where we needed it. He came and left rather quickly. I liked that PODS had a climate control facility to store containers. Their rep on the phone was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I requested the size 16 container. It was packed to the gills and worked out perfectly. The drivers were also good when they picked it up. However, I had an issue when they couldn’t find our address via GPS since we were in a brand-new community. But I was able to tell them how to get in when they called and they were great about it. I had a niece who had used PODS and she said it was convenient because you can move your things in at your own pace. If I compared other ways to move, it wasn't the least expensive but for me, it wasn't about that. I did the booking online and they delivered a pod to store in my driveway so I could pack it for moving to another location. And then, they picked it up and moved it to a location I needed.
The guy who dropped off the container was great and then the guy who picked it up said the way we had it positioned was opposite. I would want it clearly to butt up to the garage at the second location and he pointed that out because otherwise, I wouldn't have known. And then, we asked if he could turn his truck around to pick it up so that it would be correct and he accommodated us. It could've potentially been an issue, but they resolved it and let us know. Everything went exactly as planned in terms of timing as well. There was a lot of communication about the day of the move and on the day before the move, they did a lot in terms of keeping me up-to-date with the timeline so that was good. It was a favorable experience overall and I would recommend them.

We had to move quickly and when I called PODS, they were available and they were going to do it quicker. I spoke with a rep who was professional and she was able to get my times and my dates that I needed matched up perfectly. I got three 16-foot containers and they were clean and sturdy. I was going to get two but I'm glad that I took the rep's advice. He said that it was better half empty than not enough and he was right. They were very helpful and the drivers were wonderful and on time as well. PODS stored my stuff for two weeks and then they delivered them. Everybody was great and they worked in a pinch.

I had used PODS once before and I was happy with their service and efficiency. I needed them for a long-term storage. They picked up the container and stored it for about two and a half years. The other container was in another state for a year when we’re in the process of moving and then rebuilding. I had a project that was a little complicated because I wanted the drop off and pick up done the same day. But their reps were courteous and professional. They answered any question that I had.
I requested the small and then the medium container, which were sturdy and clean. However, it was strange that the container we stored for two and a half years had a black film on them, even though it’s sealed and locked. A lot of the boxes had them. Obviously, a lot of air is going in, so you’re getting a lot of residue in the warehouse. Most of the boxes were pretty bad. The driver who picked up and dropped off the container I had stored for eight months was excellent, though. He was also the one who dropped off the container I had for two and a half years. I would definitely recommend PODS.

I needed to move and store some stuff for an extended period of time and PODS was the most affordable. I got the 16-footer container and the driver who picked it up was reasonably careful. There was minimal damage on my yard, but it's a tight urban lot. They took a pretty good attempt to not do any damage, so it was not bad overall. Working with PODS was easy, convenient and just exactly what I needed.

Even though all didn't go as planned with my move, in the end PODS did their best to make it right. I received a phone call from a very nice woman in marketing at pods unexpectedly shortly after our move was complete and listened to my entire story. She was extremely understanding and apologized for all that happened, she even corrected the final billing issue, which was both a surprise and a huge relief. I think equipping their floor agents with a little more insight on how charges can change would be helpful, and she seemed receptive to that.

When planning our cross country move we thought PODS would be convenient since we did not have any idea of what the timing would be on the buying and selling of our home. Not only did they recommend containers well below the space we would actually need, I called no less than three times because I was charged an amount different than my quote. There is no transparency, so they will tell you, it's based on mileage, but they never give you a cost breakdown at any point, even when you are asking for a mileage explanation.
Further, I scheduled my delivery to my new home and hired movers for the following day. Two days before they have no idea if my second POD will even be delivered on my delivery day, meaning I will be out the minimum charge for my movers AND my husband and I will be left to unload the POD. Save yourself the headache and go with a moving company. It won't cost you that much more and you know you won't be wasting money on services you can't use.

We used PODS for a short-term storage. We moved and then 10 days later, they delivered our things. PODS had a good brand name and it felt like it would be worth using the importer. They were a good price point as well. I initially booked them online, and then someone called me and we went over the order. The online booking was easy as the site was user friendly, however the pricing in the website was all over the place. The call was super helpful because the rep clarified the service and the pricing. There was one adjustment we made too. Unfortunately, PODS set up an expectation that was unrealistic with the furniture pads, as well as that the driver would take all my concerns.
My understanding was PODS were going to lease me three dozen furniture pads to cover furniture with wood, but those didn’t come. It was a great inconvenience and that impacted the move pretty significantly. I contacted them about it but I wasn’t able to get a hold of anybody. Two pods were brought in my house and were delivered fine and setting them up was relatively simple. I live right off of the street, so it couldn’t been any easier to set the containers down. They were set in a good enough place, although I wasn’t consulted about that. The driver who came was a very inexperienced young kid who didn’t care if my stuff got broken or not. He’s not a very customer-focused person too. Also, there were cigarette butts all over the place. PODS overpromised and underdelivered.

The reps I talked to were fabulous and flexible when I needed to change things or had any questions. They also have a number I could call for customer service and it's easy to get a hold of them. The driver who delivered the pod to my house in Minnesota was very accommodating. He went out of his way to fit it into my driveway, in a really skinny spot. PODS has this great little wheel thing that they use, so they don't have to drive their truck in and they can fit the pod in some great spots.
They left the container for a few days and I loaded it up, then they shipped it to Florida and put it in a storage facility that I had access to whenever I needed it. The people that worked at the warehouse were very accommodating too. I could call them and they would bring my pod out so I could get around and get stuff out. Two months later, I had the pod delivered to the new house I bought and the driver who did that also did a great job. Overall, both drivers were very nice and helpful people. I would highly recommend PODS. They are not the cheapest, but I had a completely great experience with them.

PODS were less expensive than an actual moving company like United Van Lines or one of those. Those moving guys wanted to come in and get everything done in a hurry. We had flexibility in our schedule with PODS such that we could load it up ourselves, which took us two weeks. It seemed to fit our schedule better. I told PODS what dates I needed, where I was going and they made all the arrangements.
They screwed up and tried to deliver a month ahead of time but when they acknowledged that they had done the wrong thing, they were able to correct it straight away. I then altered a couple of other dates. The best part of the experience was in dealing with their customer service team. I can reach them on the phone and they're very polite. They seemed to have all the information to talk intelligently and solve the problem right at their fingertips. I got to talk to my manager and was just on hold for a minute. Before I can completely verbalize my request, they seemed to understand and be able to solve the problem.
I originally requested two containers, a 16-footer, and a 7-footer. After I started loading the 16-footer, I canceled the 7-footer because I wasn’t going to need it. By the time I finished loading the 16-footer it became apparent that it wasn’t going to be enough, so I reinstated the order for the 7-footer and they were able to make all that happen without any drama. Also, the containers were very clean and sturdy. Also, their drivers were prompt. They gave me a window and they hit close to that window. One of them gets stuck in San Francisco traffic and he’s an hour late but that was understandable. The only thing that I was not aware of that presented a small problem was I needed to go to the storage facility here in Conway, South Carolina and access the POD while it was awaiting delivery. It was scheduled to come out here on a Monday and I went over there on a Saturday and tried to get into it and made arrangements and they had it sitting right there.
Apparently, when in transit going from California to South Carolina, the load shifted to the back of the POD and I wasn’t able to get the rear door up because everything had shifted against it. One of the employees observed my difficulty, turned over in a forklift, stuck the fork under the door and popped it up for me. That would be the only recommendation that could potentially be made to any future renter. Be careful what you put in the very back of the POD because it's going to be pressed against the door pretty good. You may want to put something that’s more flexible than a big old piece of furniture like I did. Overall, I had a very positive experience with PODS and I would use them again.

Tried to call PODS today to discuss moving one of our units to another city and the recording said they were experiencing phone problems and were not able to accept calls at this time due to Irma. While I certainly understand the situation in Florida due to the hurricane, I think it is inexcusable a company the size of PODS does not have a DR plan that allows for calls to be routed to another location. Very poor planning on their part.

I moved from California to Wisconsin and I used two of the 8 x 16 containers from PODS. I was willing to do the loading, they were close by and their price was always right so I chose them over other companies. I did PODS online but I didn't use the chat option and right after having went online, someone called me right away. I also had to do some changes. I ordered a floor unit and decided to change it to another unit. It all worked out and their reps were very efficient. The drivers were all very professional and very responsive, too. They knew how to do what they were doing. Their customer service reps also called to make sure everything's fine and I said yes.
I would do it again with PODS because the cost was right. I'm 50 years old almost, so it was kind of hard. But it was great and worth it. With the moving companies I used before, I have found many broken things but with PODS, I didn't have one broken anything. Their pods are safer than they look because once you see a pod being delivered and you see how they load it on a truck, they can't possibly damage your goods unless the truck was to roll over or where ever they put it on the train. The goods inside are as good as you packed them. Overall, they did what they said they were going to do and that's what was important.

The PODS personnel who answered the phone was very professional and everything was explained in thorough detail. I felt better about some of the answers I got and one of the things that struck me was that I felt like my items were going to be protected. We’re in the middle of monsoon season and the explanation they gave me about the type of protection their containers have made me feel better. The other company was less professional on the phone and that bothered me. I don't always go with the cheapest option and I booked PODS over the phone for pod drop-off, pickup, and move. However, I had to change the container from 8x16 to 8x12 because I moved to a much smaller home and that’s all the room I had.
Their reps reached out to me to let me know the window of time. The drivers also reached out to me to let me know they were on their way. He was really nice and very professional. I met him outside and he talked to me about where exactly I wanted it. He explained exactly how it worked and how he would make sure he didn’t hit the house. He was really good.
Unfortunately, we had an active crime scene the day they tried to drop it off at my new house. Their office called immediately and let me know that the driver was around the corner, but he couldn’t get in because of the SWAT situation. SWAT teams were literally in front of my house and the driver was not really sure what to do but he needed to keep moving and he couldn't get through. So I walked down the street with my hands in the air and talked to the cop. He pulled up to me and said they were going to let him through. Other than that, everything was done in a timely manner. I was billed when they said they were going to and the charges were what I expected. It was a great experience overall. I would use them again and I would recommend them.

It was easy and convenient with PODS. We had a 20-day closing and PODS was able to get to us quickly. We had them deliver a storage unit to our old house and then pick it up and send to our new house. We booked them online where we just put in our preferred dates and time. Also, the website was user-friendly and everything was clearly labeled. The container we requested came in great shape and was suitable for our needs. The drivers were very friendly as well. They would call when they were on their way, usually about 30 minutes out, and then ask for any clarification of where we wanted to put the container. I would recommend PODS.

For our move, PODS offered what we were looking for and they were easy to work with. I started booking the pod unit online and concluded the transaction by phone. The reps that I spoke with were excellent. We used the 16-foot container and it was perfect for our moving needs, and there was no problem with water leaking through it. They dropped the pod off and we filled it up. Then they moved and dropped it off at the other location and we unloaded it, and then they took it. The drivers that did the pickup and drop-off were both fine. The only thing, though, was that the PODS website could have been easier to deal with. It didn’t have information easily accessible on the current status of our move when we were going through it and I had to make a few phone calls to get updates on the status. But other than that, everything went fine with our move.

I used PODS for moving and storage. I spoke with their rep over the phone and he communicated very well. He broke down the process and told me how everything was going to work since they will drop the pod off. I needed to load it, pick it up and they were going to store it in a different state. Then, it needed to be dropped off and picked up empty. He also gave a good price and it was ultimately what got me. There were no hidden charges too and I felt comfortable after the initial call.
I got the biggest container they had, however, I wish they had something a little bigger because I also had to rent a truck. I tried to get the things into one container and it just didn't work. But the guy who dropped the container off in my new location was polite. He called when he was on his way and showed up when he said he would. He dropped off my stuff and none of it was broken. That went from New York to Pennsylvania. Everything was just as they said so I was very happy with them. It was a great experience.

I initially booked the services of PODS online but they had a down on their system so I had to call in to finish it. The customer service reps were great. I needed to move my stuff in my own time and not the mover's time. I got two of their biggest storage boxes however, they still weren't enough. They need one size bigger than that. But other than that, the process was easy and smooth, and I enjoyed the experience.

PODS is a very good company. We could load the pod ourselves, which was very easy and we could do it at our time. We used both their storage and moving services, and I booked over the phone and the experience was excellent. The representative told me when they were going to pick up the pod and when they were going to drop it off. And we kept it for about two months for storage. The pod we got was packed since I did not order the biggest one, but we didn’t have one thing that was broken out of it. I thoroughly liked everything they did and I would highly recommend them.

I needed PODS for short-term storage, about a month. I knew I did not have a house to move to, so there was going to be a need for a storage and I didn’t want to move stuff twice. I had the 16-foot container and couldn’t have done with any smaller. I still had to run a trailer and haul some stuff but had no problem with the pod. The rep I spoke with on the phone was good. He did everything he said he was going to do. I moved at a time when they were busy so it took them an extra day to come and pick up the empty pod. It was over a holiday, 4th of July, so we understood. The drivers for the delivery and pick up of the pods were both very nice and courteous. I enjoyed watching their hardware work. Once everything was said and done, we were pretty good. I would do business with them again if I needed to and I would recommend them.

We’re moving and I needed to stage my house, so I had to get some things out and then move to the new house. I rented a container from PODS. I have a friend who works there and he recommended the company. I booked them over the phone. Their rep was very awesome, helpful, and professional. She took care of me. I had a pod that was a 8 by 8 by 16 for storage from PODS. I booked it over the phone and their rep was excellent and friendly. They went the extra mile to give me the information I needed. The container had a wood inner frame with tie up supports throughout it and plastic ceiling that was leak-free. It was also clean and in good condition. I had three different drivers and every single one of them was outstanding. They showed up when they said they were going to, picked up the container, dropped it off and each time, they were right on time. They also have great customer service. Every need that I had was taken care of and answered. I'd recommend PODS to anybody.

I had a very positive experience with PODS. I used them for storage and I would use them again. I was moving my mother’s home, so I had to go through the stuff slowly and I couldn’t hire a mover to come in and do that. My husband booked PODS over the phone and the interactions we’ve had with their reps had always been good. We got the big container and it was perfect, sturdy and secure. My daughter had a pod when she moved and I love the idea that they could just bring it to my house. I am single, I’m moving all by myself. With PODS, I could fill the container in my place. After I booked it online, I called to confirm with our local one to make sure that everything was on track and I ended up always talking to the person here from them on. Andie was a great gal. I had PODS deliver a pod, store it, redeliver and pick it up. I moved but I needed it stored from February to July. I got the 16-foot pod and it was huge. It was clean and it was big enough to put all my stuff in. I still had a few things that I had to store somewhere else so it worked out perfectly.
When my POD was supposed to be delivered, there was a blizzard that was supposed to hit that day and they called me and said they're going to bring it a couple of days early. They weren't going to charge me anything more, just the idea of getting it to me because I had to move blizzard or no blizzard. So they did that which was awesome. When the time came to pick it up, they couldn’t even Google map my place because I'm in a new subdivision. I wanted to make sure that when I got it picked up, I wasn’t charged for another month because my house wasn’t done yet. I met the timeframe and I didn’t get charged.
Also, everything was good during the move. Nothing was broken including my TVs and computer which I was concerned about. The only thing I wondered about for my bill was I was also supposed to get a free pickup or a free delivery but it was automatic payment on my credit card so it made me wonder if I got a free something. Other than that, I would use PODS again and recommend them.

PODS moved me from New York to North Carolina. I used them before. I'm a USAA member plus I'm retired military so we have PODS on our site and I got a real discount They're great. I knew I was buying new furniture when I got North Carolina and I got one of their large pods. The one they brought up was brand new. I loaded it up, maybe three-quarters full, and they picked it up. I hired a couple of locals that also moved here. The pod was picked it up then was moved down for storage here in North Carolina. When the new house was ready, I had PODS drop it off and everything was smooth. The people were personable, they were right on time when they said they would be, and were efficient and quick. The drivers that showed up were really nice and friendly too.
I'd strongly recommend PODS especially for folks who have a little bit of knowledge about moving and packing. On the PODS website, it tells you to call a number. I ordered some moving supplies, packing tape, boxes, moving blankets, tie down and shrink wrap. It's kind of one stop shop. It was really good and cheaper than Lowe's or Home Depot where I get a 10% being retired military.

I got the services of PODS for moving and storage. The convenience of having them deliver the pod unit to the area was why I chose PODS. Instead of going to Store It All, where I had to rent a unit and then move my stuff myself, with PODS they can deliver the pod and then I can have them move it at my own convenience. Booking the pod online was very easy, convenient, and secure. The only thing was that the different types of storage units were all the same price and I didn’t understand that.
Other than that, the pod was easy to use and extremely clean. I got the 16-foot by 32-foot container, which ended up being the perfect size for what I needed. I was surprised with the eyehooks and some lines inside that you could use if you wanted to tie your stuff down to make them more secure. The driver was amazing, nice, and very knowledgeable about the mechanics of the system, and he did everything that was ever asked without question, such as requests to adjust the positioning of the container.
I had some follow-up appointments with customer service because after I had moved the pod to a place, I thought I could do another move, but instead that was my final pickup. The process is very simple. If I want to move the pod again, I would have to put in a new request order for it. The container that I got was what I expected for a storage unit. Nothing was damaged and everything was okay in moving. I couldn’t expect anything better from PODS and I would recommend to other people to use a pod container.

Somebody broke into the pod when it was on the street the first night. The people on the 800 number was awesome. They answered my questions, and they also took care of the problem. They had to come and replace the locking mechanism on the pod. Fortunately, we hadn’t packed anything yet so we didn’t lose anything. They know what they’re doing, and they were on time when they said they were going to come and pick up the pod. The times I’ve had to go and get access to it has worked out great. It’s been all set up right for me because I had emptied it a couple of times. In the end, I switched from the biggest unit to a smaller one because I didn’t need the big one anymore.
However, I have run into a little bit of a problem when I called the local people to make arrangements to have the big pod switched. They told me that there weren’t any available and wouldn’t be for a couple of months. So I called the toll-free number and they said they have plenty of smaller pods available. So, that’s just the case of an individual giving me a bit of problem but not the company. The pod that was sent to me was perfectly clean. Whoever came up with the pods was really smart, especially by making the top opaque but white so that light shines in when you’re working in there. It’s nice that there’s a rail down the sides so if you got things that could possibly fall over, you can anchor stuff with bungee. It’s also nice that the door goes right up and it’s not swinging doors that might bash you in the wind.
Overall, it’s just like having your own personal little garage and garages are rare in Hawaii. And some stuff are really heavy, so it’s nice to just hand chuck them to the pod instead of loading up a truck, driving it somewhere, unloading it again and go there when they’re open. You never have to deal with other people using elevators. It’s a really good time-saver because you just have to pack it once. And for me, anything that saves time and energy is the biggest deal. They are also cheaper than purchasing or renting a storage unit in one of those of self-serve places. The convenience is excellent because they’ll bring it to the house. You just have to load it and then they take it away. I’ve recommended PODS to three other people that have moved that I know.

I hired PODS to move my belongings from Nashville, TN to Kansas City, MO. Everything on the Nashville end of things went smoothly and as anticipated. I felt good about my decision to used PODS. Then the experience began to unravel. I received an email notifying me that delivery was going to 3 days late. I contacted PODS online representative and asked if I would have 3 additional days to unload, because of the delay in delivery. This courtesy was denied to me. Still, I could work around this. The worst was yet to come.
My POD was not delivered to the address I requested. The driver upon arriving at my residence stated that trees around the driveway prevented him from dropping the POD. He then returned my POD to the PODS storage facility located approximately 15 miles from my new home. I then had to rent a 16' U-Haul truck and unload the POD at the PODS facility. I then had to load the 16' U-Haul truck with the contents of my POD and deliver them myself to my new home. I managed to back the 16' truck into the driveway without incident. Where I had to unload them and bring them into my home. Because the driver refused to deliver, I was left to essentially, do the job twice.
I paid PODS $1957.21, in advance of the arranged delivery. I want to restate that the PODS office is approximately 15 miles away from my new address. I feel that before accepting a $2000 contract that PODS should have had a member of their staff examine the property to insure that the POD was in fact deliverable. The member of the reservation team who took my reservation consulted google earth and stated there would be "no problem" with delivery. Folks, there was a problem. I paid $175.99 for the rental of the 16' U-Haul truck and feel this amount should be refunded me. In addition I feel that another $500.00 should be refunded due to inconvenience and the fact that I was left to move my home twice because the driver was unable/unwilling to drop the POD at my home.

I've used PODS before when I moved from Pennsylvania to Florida four years ago. I was satisfied then and I'm still satisfied now when I moved from Florida to North Carolina. I start booking online, and then they usually tell me I have to call them so I do that. Working with the rep was great. I packed my stuff at my end and then I hired HireAHelper through PODS, and they came out and they unpacked it. I ordered the 16-foot pod. It was clean and it did the trick. Everything was packed and packed tightly in it, but I don’t know where they stored it. Something was dripping in it and some of the things had some residue that came through. It was something dark and brown. I don’t know what it was and how it got in. I had it in different places inside the container. But all of the drivers were great. I would recommend PODS, but there should be some kind of reward program for people who used them more than once.

I was moving, so I needed a pod. I talked to U-Haul, and I didn’t like what they were offering. My brother was also moving, and he couldn’t say negative things about PODS. So, I booked PODS over the phone, and got the largest one, which was a big empty container. However, the sliding lock was very hard to use. But the company was just great to deal with. I talked to a few of the representatives and the one who booked it was very friendly and articulate. I was starting to get nervous about the placement so I called a couple more times and they set me at ease. The driver who dropped off was very polite. Everything was easy and gave me peace of mind. The customer service side of PODS is just unbelievable.

I had to book the move over the phone because of it being across the country and that was super easy. The woman who took my order was extremely helpful, pleasant, and it was great customer service all in all. I used one little pod for storage but mostly, for shipping across the country. I needed service for storage and moving and I got PODS because of their prices plus the recommendation by a friend. The online booking was easy. I used two of the big containers and they were clean. One was used but both are in good condition. The first driver who dropped the first container may not be clear where he'd put it and didn’t want to move it to the right spot. So the second driver had to move the first container so that they would accommodate the second. They had to call the supervisor and then move the first one. But other than that, the drivers were okay. I called customer service one time to reschedule and they were good. It has been a very positive experience with PODS.

PODS gave me a military discount for a storage service. I started booking the service online and then I finished it over the phone. I was disappointed because they only gave me a discount for the first month and then it went to full price after that. I asked why and their representative was oblivious. It was $159 a month and I had to pay for the container to be delivered but I don’t think I had to pay for it to be picked up. Things were a little fishy with her.
Although the biggest container that I requested was sturdy and clean, it leaked a little bit but I’m glad nothing of mine got ruined or I’d be very upset. It was also very confusing because I called to have the container picked up. They said they’d be here the next day. The next day came and nobody was here. I called and asked why nobody came to pick up and they said if you call after a certain time, they don’t pick it up. And it took three days after they could pick it up. Even so, my experience with them was good. It was worth it.

I came across PODS on the web and we went with them for moving and storage. We live in a remote area so some of the other companies aren't available up here. We had PODS drop a pod unit off here and wait to load it, then they picked it up and stored it, and then we had it delivered to Bakersfield. I started out trying to book with them online but I couldn't do that because of where we live, so the booking wound up being done over the phone. We got a 16-foot container that had tie downs and was really nice. It was the largest container they had, but I could have used a bigger one because I had no room to handle two units since we live on a hill. But the container we got worked out because we didn't have the whole house to move since we had already moved a lot of our things on our own with my two trailers.
The PODS reps were nice, but at one point they got the date screwed up. So, I went online to verify what they'd done and got the schedule corrected before it became an issue. After this mess-up with the dates, however, everything was fine. The moving of our container was all smooth and everything went on schedule. Both of the drivers were excellent and courteous. They accommodated all of our requirements and needs, and one driver actually helped us out with our time schedule as PODS scheduled to deliver the unit in the afternoon and they wanted to pick it up first thing in the morning. We had a couple of movers come in to unload the unit and I explained the situation to the driver, so he rerouted and stalled the next day to accommodate us. The drivers made the whole experience worthwhile and we had a very good experience with PODS overall.

We were helping our daughter move. We have seen PODS around where we live and they seemed like an option. My daughter also didn't have a lot of stuff to move and PODS seemed the easiest and most economical way to move her things. I then looked up their information online, submitted something and then I talked to somebody over the phone. What the rep told me was accurate and the interaction has been good. We got the biggest pod and the things fit well in it. We had the pod delivered to us in Miami Springs then it was shipped to Austin, Texas and stored there for about a month. The driver who picked up the pod was very nice. I called them to make arrangements for us to pick the things out of the pod. We then unloaded it from the storage facility in Austin. I would recommend PODS to other people because my experience with them has been very good.

When we needed storage for 5 years, PODS was the first company that came to mind. My interactions with the reps were beautiful and excellent. I booked one of the smaller containers, an 8-foot one, which was perfect for what we needed. It was easier for me to book it over the phone because I was in one state when my sister died, then I went to another state to pick up her clothes and things. The pod unit we got was secure and did not have water, and everything was fine with it.
We had a little hiccup when the driver dropped off the pod on a Friday and PODS was there on Saturday to pick it up when it was still moving. I didn't give them a pickup date, nor did my nephew who didn't have time to do it, but the rep said somebody had put a pickup date down. The rep I spoke to tried to make the pickup date right and got it almost good, but not quite good. The Fourth of July came and they wanted to finish what they were working on before picking up the pod, so we had to wait for the next available date for pickup. Other than that, everything was perfect and they did an excellent job overall for the amount of time that we had the stuff in storage.

I had to have my stuff stored and I was either going to move it myself and find a storage company then move it again or just call PODS. I started my booking with PODS online but finished up the booking over the phone. Their people were very knowledgeable and friendly and I enjoyed working with them. I got a 12-foot container that looked like a box. I'm an amazing packer and I got everything in there except for a few things that were going to go in the garage anyway. But I would suggest that most everybody is going to want a 16-foot pod because it was tight. Both the drivers were very friendly, courteous and did an amazing job. I love the little PODzilla and I asked the driver who brought the pod to my new house if I could drive the PODzilla the next time he came to pick it up. He said yes and he'd sit in the truck and I can drive it. Unfortunately, I wasn’t there but it was a great thought. I really want one of those PODzillas for Christmas.

We had summer camp and PODS provided storage service for our materials that were at an off-site location. We've used them in the past for different events. We booked online, and the experience has been simple and painless. There was adequate information in order to inform PODS where I wanted the specific pod located. Originally, I wanted a smaller container, but when dealing with 75 plus kids, all the summer camp equipment and lost and found items, their 12-foot pod definitely was adequate enough for what we needed.
The pod itself was clean and there were no holes or damage to the pod when it was delivered. So everything was perfect. When it was dropped off, the driver called me. I didn't pick up the first time, but he called me two or three more times to make sure that he got in contact with me and let me know specifically that it was delivered. When I went in to make the payment for the pod or to leave feedback, it's always been a pleasant experience with their reps.

We used PODS for their moving services. I tend to go to the brands that I know and they were the one that I was most familiar with. I've also seen their pods around, where the people have put stuff in them and they looked high quality. I called in to book the service because there were questions I wanted to ask. The customer service reps were very nice and helpful. I got the largest size pod. And then, down the road, I thought about getting another small one. And so, I called back and I could never get an answer on what it would cost me. I get people telling me their computers are not working and everything's down and all kinds of problems, and they’d call back but they never did. So, that was very bad follow through.
And then, it was weird that I got an email from them telling me that my pod would be delivered the next day and it’s going to be emptied. I don't have a pod that was supposed to be delivered. So, I called them back and they said they don't have any idea. But the actual driver was terrific. He was extremely professional, a very nice guy, and he really knew what he was doing. In fact, when the pod was delivered, they had to put the pod and the thing back and he took it out to the street. He spent a lot of time taking and turning it around so that it was usable for me. I recommend him highly.

Because of their cost, I booked a 16-foot storage from PODS online. It was pretty easy and convenient. The driver was on time and courteous. However, few of my things were damaged because the container leaked. Other than that, it was a good experience.

We were doing some remodeling and had to take certain things out of the house. My colleague Richard did his little research on things and went with whatever he read was the best company which was PODS. He called them on the phone and we got the small container. It was the customer's things that went in there. So far, we've had two experiences with PODS for storage on site for a little while and we got no complaints from the customers we used them with. Everything went well and I'm sure we'll use the same company if we have to do it again. We go on what the customer says and if they're happy then we're happy.

And then the driver called me when they were coming but he didn't seem to understand some basic street addresses. It was odd but it wasn't a big deal and it was funny to me.

Ordered from PODS a couple of years ago and then it was finally delivered at a different address. The materials that were in the pod survived. While we weren’t expecting it to be climate controlled and I don’t see evidence that things became bug infested. They did what they said they were going to do and we were perfectly satisfied.

My mom and I were in the process of moving so we both used PODS' services. I like the services they offer and I did the booking online, then I called to make sure. The reps were extremely helpful and although there was one small issue, that was resolved quickly. I got the 7-foot pod and my mom got the 16-foot one. For me, it was the perfect size, but my mom didn't calculate and hers was a little too big. She thought she had much more stuff than I did but that wasn’t the case.
The pod was just a basic container but it does the job and it was clean. I put my own lock on there and I kept mine out in the driveway for three weeks. It’s so much more convenient. I was able to take my time and see what I need and what I don't and throw those away. Whereas when you’re in a rush, you just take everything because that’s what you always do, even when you've never really used the stuff in the last 20 years. That’s what I like about the pod. Plus I didn't have to worry about people not lifting my furniture properly or scratching it.
The drivers were also professional and on time. The first guy went out of his way for me. I told him I had an issue because I could not stay at the condo because they gave me a limited time and he was not supposed to pick up my container but he looked at his schedule. Then he called me a few hours later to say he was coming back my way. He called his manager who said he could pick it up and it was wonderful. My moving experience was great because it was on my own time, plus everything was really smooth. There was only one misunderstanding but someone called me the next morning and it was fixed. My mom really liked the pod and would definitely use PODS again.

In 2008 we moved temporarily from Kansas to Texas. We ordered two pods which were delivered and picked up on time, so far great service. In 2009 we moved back to Kansas. Our two pods had remained in their storage facility north of DFW the entire time. When we opened the containers, mice (about 5) scampered out, and we found a half dozen dead mice in each container. We immediately called Pods to report the incident. We took pictures of every damaged item. We followed their instructions and were told we would be taken care of. They were very nice about it all at first. I am a historian and have hundreds of books. At least 150 books had been chewed on, crapped on and destroyed by the mice. In addition three couches were also crapped on and chewed up, along with bedding, household items, an expensive sewing machine was filled with mice crap and urine. Nearly 30% of our goods were destroyed by mice crap, urine and chewed up.
We had several persons from our church who had loaded and unloaded these two pods. We sent dozens of pictures to PODS and an estimate of the damage, about $9,000 to $10,000 total. After doing all this, and we had taken out full insurance covered offered by PODS, they told us that the insurance only covered damage to the pod itself and not its contents. Despite all their so called help and assurances that they would pay us for our damaged goods, it was just a ruse, they had no intention of owning up to the fact that our goods were destroyed in their storage facility which we paid for every month to have our things stored inside their facility.
Every time I see a PODS container in the neighborhood I tell the people what happened to us and to be certain that their goods are covered. PODS said that our homeowners insurance should pay for the damages! Our insurance company said that was totally wrong. We never received any further communication about this matter from PODS. I ended up throwing out dozens of my history books and our household items.

We had to move out of one house before the other house was ready so we needed storage and moving services. The PODS website was very easy to navigate and the sales representatives I talked to were great. They responded really well online and over the phone. I added a pod at the last minute and the rep I talked to checked if I was sure that I wanted another pod. She also told me I could cancel it within 24 hours and was very courteous. Working with her was easy.and she was really good
We had three large containers and they were the perfect size. We filled them all to the brim then PODS dropped them off and picked them up even without anyone being there so that worked out great. We had the pods for a month and they seemed fine. But we only had until a certain day and past that, we would get charged an entire month. It would have been nice and convenient if they would prorate their rent.

I needed a container for both on site moving and storage. I got in touch with PODS because of word of mouth referrals from people who have used them and said it was easy. So I booked a pod online and found their website really easy to navigate. I got the 16-foot container and what made me super surprised was I kept the pod out in my driveway for about a month as I was working in construction but my belongings smelled fresh and the same. They called when they dropped off the pod, picked it up and delivered it, then picked it up again. The whole process was seamless. But I had problems getting the container unloaded as the time was expiring so I called them to reschedule the pickup. The next month has already started by then and they ended up charging me for an extra month even though they picked up the pod the day after. But that's the only pick up day that was available so I called them and they reimbursed me.

PODS is a great service and my experience was fantastic. It's a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. I got them for storage because there was going to be a lapse in time between the house was sold and when I was able to move in since I had renters in here and had to wait until school was out and then do a bunch of renovations. PODS' reps were informative. I ended up with two of the 16-footer pods and they weren't big enough, so I ended up filling a 17-foot truck after I was done and put that into a temporary storage down here. Then they brought them to my house and loaded them and have them picked up.
I had used PODS before when I was putting flooring in here and needed a place to put stuff. We just brought a pod over and had it sitting in the driveway. The storage protected everything. It's so easy to load them because they're at ground level. It's just four inches off the ground and it's not going up a big ramp or a LiftGator. But, it would help if the pods are a little bigger and had a light in them.
I book the pods over the phone and when I ordered the first one, I got it in a couple of days and that was fantastic. However, when you call in during the busy season, it takes almost a week to get them out there. But, the drivers came in the time they said they were supposed to. When they were bringing the second one here, they were supposed to pick up the first one. But, they came and dropped off the second one and took off. I had to call them back and say that they were supposed to pick up the first one too since I wanted it out of the driveway. They then came back and got it.

I packed out of a house, required a temporary storage and I didn't want to move twice so I hired PODS. I was trying to book online but I didn't get to where I wanted to go so I picked up the phone and talked to someone. Their customer service reps were really good and the driver that came out was professional and perfect. The container I got was a size 16 but I could use a bigger one. I'm constructing a house and that caused a lot of grief with sub-contractors. But getting the service from PODS was the least antagonizing process in my move here because it was so simple.
I'm also quite impressed by the ease of their process, with the phone calls and especially with their local people. They called in to advise the time of the pickup and arrival of the pod. I packed the container and they were gone. Then I called them and they delivered it. They also recommended someone to unpack the container and that company was superb as well. Overall, I was happy with PODS.

There was someone local, but PODS had the largest container, which is what I got. It was sturdy and clean and it served its purpose. The only thing that I did not like was the driver for the final pick up for the last two pods. There were a few dust debris on the bottom of it. He swept it and put all the trash in my driveway. I did not like that. He could have told me and I would have come and got the debris. Other than that, the drivers were very friendly and they went out of their way to please and help me. The experience with PODS was easy.

We used PODS the previous year and when I needed a little bit of storage and mostly moving the pod from point A to point B, we used them again. Price-wise PODS was more expensive than some of the other companies we have talked with but we chose them still because the pod could be there for days and we could fill it at our speed. We had two of the 16-foot container. With this experience though, there was some frustration. It took almost weeks to get a quote. Last time it was very straightforward and it was fine. Other than that, the drivers were pleasant and efficient. PODS worked and it was a pleasant experience on the whole.

We chose PODS out of convenience and it worked out so well for us. It was nice that all the stuff was going to be moved from one location to the next. That was a big plus for us. We requested for the big container and we had plenty of room. We officially booked it online but we spoke with PODS on the phone for a bit beforehand to get more information. I needed a pod for moving and I booked with PODS over the phone. I had to sell all my furniture and I requested a 16-foot container, which was the largest. However, there was a charge on my credit card that showed up after the pickup date and it didn't show if it was a credit or a debit. I called about it and they said it was a credit and that they credited me back too much money and then they turn around and undid the credit and re-billed me for another amount. The representative was over talking me and didn’t seem to want me to speak to anybody to include her, so our interaction wasn't favorable.
The driver who picked up my container was fantastic. Other than him, the delivery driver was my first interaction with any driver of any kind. I do LTL, less-than-truckload deliveries, through my business here. If the delivery driver was out and he stopped in to fill out an application, I would hire him on the spot. He's not the one that went and picked up the container and I had requested that. Although I know he put it there and he can pull it back out. He was an awesome employee and I hope they still have him. Overall, it was convenient working with PODS.

We had a storage unit dropped off to load. And then it was held at a storage unit and redelivered. Because we needed storage and PODS was cheaper than a moving truck, we booked them. I got a 16-foot container which was not the correct size for my needs. It was my fault, though, because PODS suggested that we get more. The drivers were excellent and super helpful. They also seem really knowledgeable about permits and street placements. However, the people on the phone weren’t as helpful. One thing that they did is to look up Google images around the home and then told us where we should place the container. I told them that I wanted to place it in a certain way, but they argued. When the drivers came, they said, "Oh, sure. We'll do it the way you want it." They were awesome.

We needed some storage for our furniture while we were doing our floors. PODS is predominantly seen in our area here. Also, two people recommended PODS to us when we were telling them about doing our floors. It was the only way to be able to get as much out of the house, so we can redo the floors without any hassle. My wife booked with them online but she talked to their reps once on the phone to get some clarifications. They are very knowledgeable and answered the question quickly.
The container we got served its purpose. I wish we could have gotten a bigger one. But what we had was the biggest size that we could accommodate in the space we had to put it in. I watched the people that came to pick up and deliver the container from start to finish and I found it very interesting how they did it. They were very nice and courteous. And when I had a question, they answered it for me. Everything went smooth and my wife was very happy with it. I was also happy to get the stuff stored.

I used PODS for moving and storage. I'm a military wife for 30 years and I am fully aware of what a move entails. I was told that with PODS, the move would be quick and painless. So, I went with what was suggested at the time and it worked out fine for me. I called them over the telephone and then, the follow up until I picked everything up, was done online. There was some lack of communication though. The Florida office was very helpful but I was told that I would get a reminder and a confirmation email or a call, which I never received. But they did have my pod out the day that I picked everything up.
I was doing all this entirely by myself when I moved out. The pod I got was larger than what I needed and I wasn't really prepared. But the driver had some rope and he secured things for me. Overall, everybody was nice. My items were stored at one location and then were moved eight months before I actually took everything out and that all seemed to work smoothly. I would recommend PODS but it's definitely not something a woman would want to do by herself if it's a large amount of storage. My son and daughter-in-law are using a pod right now. They sold their home four weeks ago and they have items in a pod somewhere.

We had a major move 18 years ago and it was paid by the company that my husband worked for. It was $20,000 then so I figured, it wasn’t any cheaper these days. My realtor suggested PODS because it was easy and much cheaper. Plus, she knows other people who have used them. We requested three of the large ones to begin with and then the helpers were saying we’re not going to fill up the big ones again so, we got a small one which was a mistake because we would have filled up the big one. We ended up having to get a small UL truck to finish it up. But we probably would have gone over on the third big pod too. My neighbors were happy I gave a lot of stuff away.
The drivers were friendly and it was amazing how fast they were in and out of there. This is the first time they delivered one and my husband came in and said that the guy made it look so easy. The house we moved from had a very sloped driveway and we moved to a much smaller house on a little flat street so the second time around was less difficult. But they were great and as nice as they could be. Everything was picked up and delivered on time. And so, it was easy once you get past the whole stress of having to move. We had a great experience with PODS and HireAHelper, which is one of PODS' recommended people who helped load and unload for us.

I cannot seem to get a straight answer on anything when I contact PODS. Every time I call I have to wait with annoying hold music to talk to someone only to be told they can't help me and I need to be transferred to another department to wait with annoying hold music again and be told they cant help me. It's like Dante's outer circle. They give you the runaround and no one follows up or actually cares about helping you. Every time I call I get a different answer on everything. I feel like I'm on a game show to measure the capacity of human frustration.
In addition to wasting hours upon hours of my life with their hopelessly incompetent "Customer Service" team, my main beef with PODS is a financial one. HOLY HIDDEN CHARGES BATMAN. When quoted the amount it would cost for my cross country move they quoted me the pre-tax amount. They also failed to disclose that I would be charged 2, yes 2! Whole months of storage at $205 apiece for using the POD for 13 days, because the days spanned two different months and they don't prorate as a policy. I bet they don't. So I've now paid over $600 more than what I was quoted between the unmentioned tax and the 2 months (for 13 days) storage.
They are now saying that they will not deliver the POD unless I pay an additional $180 delivery fee, also, never disclosed to me. (See a theme here?) I am moving to an urban city and have had to acquire special and expensive moving permits (That I had to go to City Hall for!) for my specific move dates and have hired movers on the most moving active day of the whole year. They essentially held my property hostage and said they just "won't show up" if I don't pay them the $180 fee (somehow not included in the $2400 I already paid to move the POD). That is extortion!!
I think it is DISGRACEFUL to treat the customers that have chosen to do business with you in this way, gouging them, giving them the runaround and holding their property hostage. PODS is a disorganized, greedy corporation that doesn't care about their customers in the slightest. On top of the profound stress of a cross country move, I have this to deal with?! From a company I have already paid thousands of dollars to? SHAME ON YOU PODS for making my move a living hell. I wouldn't recommend you to my worst enemy.

First, I asked them to take the deposit and 1st months rent on my payday 8/25 and they took it a day early 8/24. I called immediately and canceled the order on 8/24. Was told the credit was based on my bank for the credit to be issued. Called my bank and said that the holding funds would be credited back on 3rd business day 8/29. On 8/27 the funds cleared my bank. I waited for the 3rd business day to make sure I gave the bank time to process. Called PODS 4th business day 8/30 to ask why the money hasn't been credited. They did not process my credit of $291 until 4 days later 8/28 and said it will be 3-5 business days from that date. I am trying to move and found a more cost effective way to move and you are holding my money making it very difficult for me to move. Not happy at all!!! To be clear the reps were very helpful and kind, but the company process is horrible.

When I first started, PODS was the only company I knew about. I called them up and started with a sales rep. Their reps are great, helpful and they accommodate my schedule. This time, I needed some extra storage for my prom season and booked a 16-foot pod, the biggest they have. I would've liked to have a bigger one, but I'm in a retail store and I can't take up much more than a parking space. But it would be great if they had a big double decker. Also, they're starting to change over and make newer units which aren't quite as nice or as roomy as the older units. I like their wooden containers where it's a little bit lighter inside, but that's a long term thing for my needs.
I was happy with PODS and I've always continued to use them every year for 10 years. I've known one driver from every year and the interaction has been very positive. I am very specific about where I like to have the pod, so I meet the drivers in the morning and to the best of their ability, they try to accommodate me on where I want the unit to be placed. They're also timely with deliveries. Overall, I had a great experience working with them and they should keep up the good work. I'll continue to be their customer.

The initial drop-off and pick up went smoothly, but after that it was a total nightmare. My PODS was supposed to be delivered between 10:30am and 1:30pm - I waited all day long and the guy didn't arrive until 4pm. Then the driver said he couldn't get the PODS into the parking lot because there was a low tree limb blocking his way. (It wasn't really THAT low; I honestly think he could have cleared the limb if he tried but he wouldn't even try, despite my asking him to give it a go). Then I said we could drop it on the street instead. I stepped away for just a moment to call the landlord to make sure it was okay that we put the PODS on the street. In that moment the driver took off, and called me a few minutes later saying he would tell his boss at the warehouse to make a note to come back and try again tomorrow.
I called PODS that night to confirm that a second delivery attempt would be made, and it's a good thing I did because evidently the driver never made any sort of note. "I don't know why the driver would have told you that," the customer service rep said, "he is not authorized to schedule redeliveries." So I scheduled it with her for the next day. Once again, the PODS was supposed to arrive between 10:30am and 1:30pm - again I waited all day and this time the driver showed up at around 3pm. (A different driver, thank God.) His name was Isaac. I explained to him what had transpired the previous day, and that it might be best to put the PODS on the street, but he said "No way, I can get it in that parking lot no problem."
Clearly, the first driver was inexperienced, and did not know how to properly use the "Podzilla" mechanism, because Isaac got it into the lot easily. I really hope they don't try to charge me twice for the delivery fee, seeing as it was their driver's inexperience and hasty exit that necessitated the second attempt. Anyway, so Isaac leaves, having successfully dropped the PODS, and I am happy that I can finally unpack my stuff after two days of waiting (two days which I had to take off work, mind you). I go over to the PODS, open my padlocks, and try to open it but the door won't budge. It is completely jammed shut. I tried with all my strength for 20+ minutes to get the door open, even trying to pry it open with an iron bar, but it wouldn't budge.
At this point I was angry, frustrated, and exhausted. I call PODS again, explain to them what happened, and ask if there is any way they can help. The customer service rep says all he can do is send a message to a guy named Kyle in the area and he *might* be able to come help me tonight. If not, it would be the next day. I was livid at this point. About an hour later my phone rings and it is Isaac. He must have gotten wind of the problem, and he said, "Don't worry, I'm gonna come get the door open for you." He showed up about fifteen minutes later, and it took me and Isaac about 20 minutes of wrangling with the iron bar to finally get the door open.
When I opened the door, I was very upset to see that my coffee was broken, but oh well, at least we had gotten the PODS open at last. All this to say, that next time I will be using U-Haul and moving my stuff myself because I don't think I could survive another ordeal like this. The only reason I have even given one star in the rating is because Isaac was kind, helpful, highly-skilled, and went above and beyond to help me. (He was on his way home when he stopped to help me get the door open; he might have even clocked out already). We rented a container from PODS to be in our driveway for about a month while we were cleaning out a damaged shed. We chose them because my neighbor was and still using one and I had seen the advertisement, done some research and liked the idea that it would just be right there on my driveway. I booked it online and requested for the largest one which was fantastic. It was clean and seemed to be well-maintained. The driver's courtesy and professionalism was incredible. He was the one who picked up the container and was careful not to cause any damage because it was a tight space. It's the driveway and the pod was on one side and our house was on the other. Overall, their customer service was great.

We had sold our previous house and we were waiting on our house to be built. I asked people on Facebook if they had used PODS, what they felt about it and how it worked for them. The answers were all positive, which became a factor why I chose PODS. The price was a factor as well. I started to book them online, but I called because I had some questions. They then took care of the rest on the phone. Both experiences were great and the people on the phone, every time I called, were very helpful. They worked out the best deals for us and explained everything to us.
We got a 16-foot container and it was great and right for our needs. We weren't there when the driver dropped off our container, but they dropped it off exactly where we wanted it. Same thing when it was picked up. When it was delivered to our new address, I interacted with one driver because I was there and it was perfect. Additionally, I called their customer service because I wanted to know if I was getting credited back with what we didn't use, and that also went well. The experience overall was convenient and it was perfect for moving on your own.

We sold our house before we bought our new one so we had to rent out-of-state. For this particular move, PODS was the best and cheapest option. It was the perfect solution since other moving companies do not have storage units and I had to get and pay a separate company for the facility. So I called them to book the service. It had to be over the phone because it was an out-of-state move. Booking was fine, but I had an issue with the billing part since it wasn't predictable. Even though you knew how much it was going to cost at the end of the day, you never knew what was going to be taken out, when it was going to be taken out and why it was being taken out for that particular moment. I also got two pods for my brother and he got charged twice. It took him a couple of days just to get the money back into his account.
The largest container PODS had was 16. I got two of them and I was fortunate to get metal ones. My brother got a metal one and a wood one. The rickety wood ones are worn out and PODS is already phasing them out. They don't hold up like a Conex box which can hold more, weight-wise. The Conex are good. I got my stuff tied down in it securely and was good to go. Also, the drivers were great. They’re the only ones you get to see in the whole process and they were all awesome. The trucks were really nice and maintained, but the equipment that lifts it was shoddy and was leaking all over the place. Overall I'm glad the move's over. I'm proud of my experience with PODS and I'd definitely recommend them.

We’ve been with PODS for years and have booked with them online and over the phone. If you remember your password, online works good. But sometimes, talking to a person on the phone seems like they could see what the availability is and I could tell that they’re looking into their computer. We got the 16-foot container and it was fine. PODS' drivers had been nice. Kudos to them. PODS should give them some merit award. The guy who came to drop the container off was very knowledgeable and it was neat how the container was lifted up off the truck and moved into position. It was 103 degrees and the guy was doing all the stuff so I was very much amazed.
However, when we were requesting for the container, PODS couldn’t find us on their computer. We were getting ready to sell our house so we put a bunch of stuff in storage. When they picked the pod up with all the stuff we had stored in there, somebody didn’t put it back in the computer that PODS had picked it up. We were anxious. I told the lady on the phone that we’ve been paying all the years so how could they not have it when they take out a deduction from my checking account every month.
I got a supervisor on the phone and she was very helpful. She got back to me and reassured me that they found my pod. It was in the Venetia yard. Then when we had called, it was almost 4:00 in the afternoon and the owner of the yard there was already gone for the day so it was frustrating. But after that, everything was fine. We requested our container that had been in the storage area for over a year and a half, we emptied it out and had it returned to them. The container was a little dusty inside, but otherwise, it wasn't bad.

I was closing an office and I had to clear it out because somebody else was coming in. I needed a storage unit to put stuff in and PODS appealed to me. I booked the unit over the phone and the 7-foot container that I got was fine for me. Everybody that I had contact with was great. The reps were so nice and the drivers were wonderful. I had a very good experience overall with PODS and their people were terrific, but the only thing was that the dispatchers screwed up in sending the driver with the loaded pod to the office when I wanted to unload it at my residential address. Fortunately, he had to drive by me at the residence to get to the office, so I phoned him and told him to turn around and come back, and he did.

I went online to find PODS and booked through customer service. I had three different drivers and all of them were super. They called before they got here and put the pod where I wanted it. It was great and on time. I had them deliver, pick up and deliver to another location. I had more junk than I knew I had and the container I got was too small, but it was the largest one they had.

We needed temporary storage and PODS was something we saw in the neighborhood. We booked online and their website was easy to use. We got the 16-foot metal container with the corrugated roof and a roll up door. It was easy experience-wise and they picked up when they said they would be there. I used PODS for storage since their setup was convenient and the price was perfect. I booked online for a 16' container and it's clean but a little banged up on the outside. The driver was professional and really courteous. One thing I haven't followed up with was that we had the PODS picked up in early June and then we got charged for July. It might be because it was a minimum of four months. But other than that, my experience has been very easy and I would use them again when I need to or for other people.

I had used PODS twice and I felt good about the service that I got. With my recent experience, my situation was a little complicated so I had to both call and do an online reservation for moving and storing. I had to have a pick up, store it, and then deliver it at a later date. When you're online, it's not as tricky to see and pick them both and this one goes to that one. Then you have to call later and have it delivered to a new location which I don't know because I haven't found a house yet. In our case, our house was waiting to get ready, so we moved into a temporary place until the pod came. Until our house became available, then they had it delivered to the house. Everything went pretty smoothly.
On the other hand, they bumped the neighbor's mailbox across the street. They had a brick mailbox and it's kind of set ajar a little bit. The neighbor gave me his name and number for PODS to contact him. PODS claims they called me a couple of times to get their number but I'm new to the neighborhood and I didn't know them. They were out of town when I first moved in. But overall, my service was good and they didn't mess up my mailbox. My things were safe and I'm also glad that they were in a controlled environment or had ventilation. The process was very simple, easy and convenient. They did a great job.

We had to move quickly because somebody wanted to buy our home. My daughter and son-in-law in Arcadia had used PODS before when their home caught fire and they told me that I needed to call PODS because the company stores things in a secure storage facility. I contacted PODS in Sarasota and I booked with them over the phone because I needed somebody to walk me through what I needed. I’m really old and I was afraid that I might push the wrong button and probably get six units if I booked online. The rep I spoke with was absolutely great. He was very patient and gave me all kinds of options for movers. We have very valuable antiques and I was really concerned, but he told me that they would be fine in the pod. I called them back twice because my children had asked me questions that I forgot to ask them and everybody that I talked to there was great. We got two of their biggest containers.
My husband was in the hospital in intensive care but I had a lot of help from family and friends in packing our stuff so PODS could move them. The containers were clean when they arrived and they were clean when they left. I was a little concerned because the containers only had locks on them but the PODS people told me that they were secure. The last two months before we got them, I was so afraid to get them. I thought they would probably have termites, bugs, and melted stuff, but there was nothing like that at all. We had quite a bit of interaction with the carrier drivers because our place is really hard to get on the GPS. They had to come over bumpy roads and down the long Shell Road to get here and deliver the containers to 540 acres in the middle of nowhere.
I had to call Customer Service because we were charged for a whole month when we should have been charged for part of a month which was the agreement that we had with PODS, but I was told that the excess charge would be reimbursed. The rep was honest. I asked her, “If I hadn’t called, would that money be refunded?” She said their system is all computerized and digital, and when the information about the service goes to the billing department, the computer doesn’t recognize that the charge doesn’t have to be for a whole month. I said, “Well, shouldn’t you have taken care of that?” She said, “It’s not possible. You can’t tell a computer,” and she said they had no way of knowing. I said that might be an option that they may want to look into because, while I called, a lot of people might not call. Nevertheless, PODS has been great overall and I've already recommended them to a few other people.

PODS had really good rates and they were available in the areas where I was and where I wanted to be. I also like the fact that the pods stayed level and how they handle the pods. When I tried to go online to do things, it was always a little bit confusing. Evidently, you can do some things online and you can’t do some things online. Trying to figure that out, I just went offline and called them up. I booked over the phone and it was fabulous. I talked to a woman in Florida and she was so helpful and had all the information for me. It was always a pleasure talking to the people that they had. The online thing just wasn't A1 but the people were and so I’d much rather call and talk to somebody. That way they can answer all my questions and I'm sure it actually did what I wanted it to do instead of punching a button.
I told her the size of my house and that I wanted a container. I got the 8x16 and she told me that that they'll put another one on hold to be delivered later if I need it because it was before springtime then and the rates were low. Sure enough, I needed that other container and I called and had that delivered. The drivers were also all really nice and I appreciated them. I was someplace else when they came, dropped off, or picked up anything so they always called me and let me know what was going on. It was really nice and I was very happy with that.
When I got the containers down here to Chattanooga and got them to the driveway, the door of one of them swung back and the other one rolled up. The one that rolled up, the contents had shifted and my dining room chairs had gotten stuck under a metal bar. It was on either side of the thing and I couldn’t get it open. I couldn’t even get my hand up there and it was packed so full you couldn’t push the chairs back so I ended up with several damaged dining room chairs because of this metal bar. If I had it to do again, I would insist on getting the ones with the swing-open doors and I wouldn’t encounter that again.
I didn't call the customer service about it and just wrote it off as something that happens. And if it was the worst thing that happened then the move was highly successful. Before I left, I was recommending them right and left and I'm sure that they got quite a few jobs from me telling everybody my experience and how wonderful it was, as well as the price for moving across the country. People could not believe it and it was wonderful.

I was very happy with my experience with PODS and I’d definitely recommend them. I looked at moving people but I heard bad things about moving companies and I don't like that so we went with PODS. We booked online and it was very good. I had a 16 foot pod, which was sturdy and has fit my needs. I had to keep changing the dates with my move and the representatives were very accommodating to what I needed. Also, my son was happy with the driver who picked up the container.

PODS was convenient. Our house was flooded, so while it was being repaired, we rented two of their pods where we kept our furniture. The company that was doing the house rented a 16-foot long container, but it was not enough for our furniture. We ordered a second one and they're quick to respond. It wasn't enough too but I needed to have control of the environment. The drivers did a really good job.

We had a single POD, a 16-foot container, that we put stuff in to move. I booked it online and it was an easy process. We got a quote from PODS and it was satisfactory, so we just booked it from that. The only thing we had to change was the date to have the container moved and we found that out a few days before. We called PODS up and they moved it on the different date. They had the address but a couple of numbers were inverted. That was taken cared of and everything worked beautifully. The container was clean and the door works perfectly. I was able to lock it up. We had it in our driveway at the old house, loaded it up and moved it over here. It was wonderful and we were very pleased with the service. We have recommended them to a couple of friends who were contemplating on moving.

I booked PODS over the phone. We needed them to pick up furniture and move it from one destination to another. Their drivers were very helpful. They showed up when they were supposed to show up. We did most of the loading but they did a good job of placing it conveniently for us. When we were done, they picked it up when they were supposed to and took it to the new house. However, we had a little glitch because it needed to be picked up quicker than they could schedule. They went ahead and charged us but then they refunded because it was a scheduling problem. It wasn't anything that we had not been able to do. They just couldn’t schedule it quick enough but they picked it up and took it away and it was fine.
We used a 10-foot container which was brand new. The only problem we had was because there was too much furniture on one side and as they were taken out, it got heavier on one side than the other. That made the door stick but it wasn't a big problem getting it. My son-in-law fixed that real quick. We were well-satisfied with PODS. It was a very good experience and was what we expected. They did a good job and if we needed them again, we would call PODS again. We would recommend them.

They came at the time they were supposed to come. They can only come here on Wednesdays and so we had a little delay but we were happy with the whole process. Do NOT pay for AM DELIVERY! It is a rip off! Paid $100 for AM delivery. Suppose to deliver by 11 AM, NOT! Still have not received my refund. They NEVER deliver within the estimate time. Keep changing without notifying you. Very very stressful!

I rescheduled my delivery online over one week in advance. The evening before my old delivery date, I received an automated call at 6:30PM notifying me that container would be delivered the next day. I called to confirm the re-schedule that I had done online. Customer service rep required a $100 fee to reschedule since it was after 4PM (a very convenient policy when delivery notifications are sent at 6:30PM). Maybe next time I'll just rent a storage unit and moving truck for a similar cost.

I was moving from San Diego to Seattle. I initially started with another company and the container was just too large to come into my driveway. So I went with PODS because of their pricing and the sizes available. The one that I got at 7 feet was just the right size pod. I initially booked by phone and then monitored it online. PODS moved us from Syracuse, New York to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with an eight by eight container. We liked the ease of us not having to drive or transport anything. I had both moving and storage services from PODS. We knew we were going to have our stuff in storage and I understood that PODS was in a climate-controlled warehouse. I booked over the phone and they were awesome. They were very clear and they took care of us. We got two 16-foot containers from them and those worked well and the size was perfect. We originally ordered three then decided that we were also going to get a storage unit so that we had super easy access to some of the things we wanted to get to. We moved from AZ back to MN and used a POD as it was less expensive than a moving company. We used United Van Lines on our move from MN to AZ and never had as much as a scratch! We hired PODS recommended movers to load the POD, and they did a great job. After it left the driveway, they either tossed the POD around like a rag doll, or, they dropped it! When it finally was delivered (that was another issue - we sat in an empty house because they didn't have enough drivers to make deliveries until they recruited some from the East Coast!), the company we hired to unload it couldn't believe the condition of the boxes!
They had me go into the POD to take photos before they even unloaded them! We paid for $10,000 of insurance from pickup to delivery, but my guess is, based on the claim form, that we will not be well compensated as they will severely depreciate our items, some of which were heirlooms, and some things cannot be replaced!

I was living in two places and I sold one house so I wanted to move what I wanted to keep to the other house. However, I didn’t want to mess with an estimated weight and then changing that so I thought I’ll just get a pod. I didn’t have a whole household to move and working with PODS seemed like a really simple way to do it. I originally booked over the phone but I had one bad experience with it. It wasn’t made very clear to me that the estimate could change if I didn’t book right then, and when I called back, it was $800 more. I was a little irritated at first and almost didn’t do it, but I thought it was the easiest way and so I went ahead.
I ordered an 8x8x16 pod and it had been delivered before I got there. My son helped me pack it and he was good at that. I put the priority things in first but we totally filled it and there were a few things at the end that didn’t make it. The pod was picked up after I left, then it was delivered here in South Carolina while I was not here. But it went well and everything arrived in good shape. I would and have recommended PODS.

I had PODS stored things, from my old apartment down in Grove City, at the facility. And then I had them delivered here in my apartment complex a few weeks ago. I booked them online and it couldn’t have been any simpler. PODS was totally transparent, so they explained the quote pricing. I got the 16-foot container. It was sturdy and well-protected. PODS was also excellent with communication. Whether they were coming to my old apartment or new place, they’d let me know the time frame they’re going to be here.
Their drivers were conversationalists too. They were also friendly and efficient. They asked some questions and took their time. The one who brought the container to the old place was on time, awesome, and very nice. Because PODS is flexible, I could have the container for a few days before they came and got it. I loaded everything in and had some movers help me with it too. The container was packed to the hilt. Then, the container was taken down to the facility. The actual moving was awesome as well. The mover, who was a woman, did a great job. I don’t get to see women do a lot of this stuff and I like seeing women do men’s jobs. She was wonderful and I loved her.
The most important thing was that everything was clean and dry when I got my things. There was little dust, but I expected that because it was stored for five years. There were china and glass in there, but since I’m also a good packer, nothing was broken, cracked, or chipped. PODS was awesome. I would use them again. I’d also recommend them to everybody I know.

When the guy came to bring our PODS he was very professional and patient in explaining to us exactly the limitations. He was also very helpful in helping us figure out the best location to put it on our property. We booked a large container and it was fairly clean. We intended to move and filled it up but we ended up not moving so I unpacked it and they came and got it. I mentioned to the gentleman who came to pick it up that I was charged the payment for what would have been the next month and he was very helpful in providing me the number of a local person to call who could help get that remedied. The only difficulty I had was that it took me three calls to get that refunded and that was a little bit frustrating. But the woman that I talked to in accounting was very helpful.

PODS was the name that came to my mind when I was thinking of getting services for moving and storage, so I booked with them over the phone. The rep I spoke with was helpful and courteous. I had a number of questions at the time about how the whole pickup and drop-off worked and the length of storage, and we had a pleasant conversation. I got their largest pods unit, the 16-foot container, and had it dropped off at our old house. Everything fit almost perfectly.
The driver who picked up the container was great. I was then living in a part of town where I wasn't comfortable having all of my stuff in a pods unit for very long, so I talked to him on the phone and asked if he could do the pickup on a Sunday, although that wasn't commonly done, but he said he’d be more than happy to do that for me. He made a special trip to pick the pods unit up for me and it was stored for over a year, then it was delivered to our new house this summer. PODS was great and I had a very good experience with them.

I rented two pods units from PODS for moving and storing, and I had things in there for about a year and a half. I liked the flexibility of their service and being able to pack myself. I did the booking mostly online. I got two 16-footers and the size was perfect. The drivers were great and very courteous. The containers ended up being placed in the right direction, with the door pointing the right way, and that was very good. I didn't anticipate using the units that long and I expected either mice getting in or something bad happening, but nothing like that happened. Everything was great.

The pod was in fine condition and my husband said the driver he dealt with was very nice. When we finally got the pod picked up, someone called and asked me about the experience. I was moving to a place where I didn’t have a house, so I couldn’t use a regular moving van service because then I would have had to buy a storage place. PODS was easier and I had another friend who used the service for the same type of cross-country move and had a really good experience. I was there and saw them deliver and pick it up, so I felt good about it. I originally booked PODS on the phone and they came and delivered a pod that perfectly fit our needs. It was clean and I was a little concerned because it wasn't a strong metal side but when I saw how they lifted and moved it and that there wasn't a lot of dropping, I wasn’t worried. It seemed sturdy and they stored it for about four months and delivered it to my new home cross country.
I called them to set up when they were going to drop off the pod in Indiana, and I had a problem with the website and my password, but they got that all taken care of very quickly. I wasn’t sure what date my monthly closing was so I wanted to make sure that I got the container there before that time because they told me I would get billed again if I didn’t. That worked out great and they got it all set up. The drivers were very nice and they made sure that they knew exactly where I wanted it put. Overall, all my interactions with all of the staff have been great. Every experience I've had when I've spoken to them has been very professional and helpful. PODS is a great company with great customer service. Their friendly staff is easy to work with and they do a good job. I would use them again and I'd recommend them to any of my friends that need that type of service.

I got in touch with PODS online and got their information there. I got the 16 x 8 container, had it delivered to my home and then transferred over to California from Oregon. The drivers called beforehand and they arrived within a reasonable time. There was only one hang-up about one of the forms. I had to fill out a Gypsy Moth form which California requires and I could not answer the thing online. That was aggravating and annoying. I had to get it mailed to me but everything else was fine and had worked perfectly. The service itself was great and they have a fantastic system set up with the way they come in odd places and the way the machinery works. I was very happy with PODS and I would recommend them to other people.

I’ve used PODS before and we used their service again for moving. I had a nice experience with their customer service team and got a 16-foot container. The driver was on time, very polite and helpful. PODS is the best way to go. If anybody wants an easy way out then they should take to PODS.

Two years ago, I needed a storage container and I booked one with PODS because they deliver. The booking happened over the phone. My interaction with the delivery driver went very well. I was impressed with the customer service, when I interacted with the reps on payment issues and just anything.

We've used PODS in the past because of their pricing. We recently needed moving services, so we booked two small pods over the phone and it was a positive experience. The drivers were friendly, timely and placed the pods where I wanted. I spoke with somebody locally in Alabama and she's very professional. She had to call me up because one of the locks on the container was broken and they replaced it. A rep followed up to make sure that none of my stuff was lost or broken and that I was happy. All in all, PODS is what I expected it to be.

On a regular basis, yearly, we get three PODS. We use them for storage here at Summerfest. We've had a relationship with them when they first started here in the area. I knew somebody who worked there and then once we got started, it's worked out very well for us. We book them over the phone and it's very positive and it's done very well. We use the smallest size pod that they have. We store our t-shirt merchandise with the parts of drums in there. And the other one we use for storage for our parade.
Also, the individuals who use the PODS put a lock on them. We feel very comfortable with that and it's in a secured area too. The drivers who pick the containers up have all been very cordial as well. I usually get a phone call approximately half an hour before they arrive on site. The only thing was their billing system. We received the bill for the next month even though we only rented it one month. But that was resolved in the end. PODS has been very straightforward, efficient, and businesslike. I make the call, set the dates, then they drop the container off and they pick it. We've been happy with the service. I'm sure we'll be using them again next year.

I compared a couple of other companies with PODS and it was cheaper and more flexible. I booked with them on the phone and that was quite simple to do. The reps were very knowledgeable and things happened very easily, so I wasn’t confused. We got two 16-foot pods and we needed every square inch of the space. We used the pods to move and we had to store our things in them for a couple of months, and they were great.
We felt good through the whole process. Overall, PODS was accurate. Everything was as PODS said it would be cost-wise and they were also accurate time-wise. It was easy to check things online. The PODS people were friendly and I never felt like I was talking to people who didn’t want to talk to me. Our questions were quickly answered the one or two times that we had them. All the drivers were excellent, professional and friendly. They asked exactly where we wanted to put the pods and they were always right on time when they said they’d be there. Then later on, we had no trouble when we unpacked our things. Everything was exactly as we had put it in the containers and we didn’t have anything broken. I would use PODS again and I'd recommend them.

I used PODS storage bin on-site, their storage center and then the delivery of the pod. I booked over the phone and I got somebody right away. They were very knowledgeable and I explained what I wanted to happen and they made it happen effortlessly. They told me I needed a smaller container and I ended up needing more space so they have to find a better way to estimate what container sizes are needed. Also, rescheduling booked up fast. I didn't have the flexibility to reschedule and it didn't work online. But when I called, they were able to reschedule to the time I wanted so they were really flexible with me. And then it's hard to keep track on the billing. It charges me as I make the move and it's a separate fee, so they could also make that a little simpler. Still, they picked up the container without me even being there and they've been easy-to-use. It's been a quick and effortless experience.
