    I booked online with PODS for a 12-foot storage pod and it was a simple and straightforward experience. Cobb, the driver, was good and he told us when he was on his way. We filled the pod pretty good and then for stuff we wanted to move day out, we got a moving van, which was perfect because then we could unload the pipe at our discretion. That was about a month ago and then somebody from Grand Acres called to make sure I was happy with how everything worked out. And it was great. I was treated well and things went smoothly.

    PODS dealt with anything that we needed and anytime that we called them, they set it up. PODS could transfer across the county so we got them when we moved. I spoke with the representatives over the phone for our booking and I told them the dates and times that I needed and they were very accommodating. They came on my phone to let us know everything and when the move was going to be. The drivers were on time as notified. We shook hands with the last driver and told them we were very happy and appreciated everything they did.

    We got three different pods that were 8 by 16 in size and they were perfectly clean. We had one pod stored with them for 6 months. And then we put up our house for sale. At the time of moving, we got two more pods and they were in storage until we found a place over in Sioux Falls. We transferred one pod at a time when we moved in. PODS was terrific and everything went without a hitch. We would recommend them to anybody.

    So my husband and I relocated to Florida. When I called the sales rep I gave her 2 different locations as we were not sure where we were going. She suggested to use the farthest location to give me an estimate and I agreed since I have never used a pod and this was her expertise. We called to have our pod delivered in Dec and were told that they do not deliver to our area. I called corporate and they said it’s not up to the sales rep to know all of the locations that they deliver to. That it was up to me to get a quote on both places and not just one. Mind you again that this was not suggested by the sales rep and I am not familiar with a pod.

    Long story short they have charged us 500 bucks to drop off the pod and then 289.00 for a month’s rent, then they are charging us almost 1900.00 bucks to deliver it 124 miles away from us and a 99.00 dollar drop fee at my location which again is 124 miles away and it is up to me and my husband to get it the rest of the way. We also asked them about packers because we are not able to load the pod ourselves, the company they recommend charged us 900.00 bucks! So now we have to pay more to hire someone to unload the pod to a rental truck drive 124 miles one way and have someone unload our stuff!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. Do not use them unless you want to be ripped off and told that it's your own fault!!! Never have I felt so ripped off!!! If I could give this zero stars I would. Also reporting to BBB.

    I had PODS drop a pod off which we used for a while and then, they came back and got it. I booked a 20 feet pod online and their website was very easy to navigate. The pod's condition was very nice and it was totally secure. I had to call the representatives when I needed it to be picked up and they gave me different options on when to have it picked up, which was convenient for me. And the drivers were great.     I had PODS help me move across the country. I wasn’t able to pinpoint exactly when I was going to be able to close on the house. I knew I was going to be in the area and they have a storage facility here in Tulsa. They were able to store my stuff until I was ready. I tried booking online, but it wasn’t completed because it was a cross-country move and I had to call them. The rep was absolutely perfect on the phone, and I got the 16-foot container. It’s secure but it was dirty when it was delivered. It had some kind of white fuzz all over it. It took me time to clean that out, but other than that, it was perfect. I was able to track everything online, but I didn't like that I had to call them again to schedule the day for them to pick it up.

    Their drivers were amazing and very talented at what they do. The place in Gilbert, Arizona was tricky for them to deliver to, but they precisely put the pod right where it needed to be. I've used two other moving companies previously and PODS was the best customer service interaction I’ve had in a very long time. They were very helpful and informative. They gave me more information than I needed in order to make decisions. Plus, they weren’t pushy about going with them. It was really quite a good experience.

    I needed to move everything out of the house because we were getting our carpet redone and I used the 16-foot container from PODS for storage. It was really easy booking online but I only needed the container for a week so I was hoping that they had different rates but they only do a monthly basis. I even called and asked if they prorate them but the guy on the phone said it's only a flat rate. It wasn’t that expensive though. The container was wide and it was the perfect size. It was also very clean and it had hard plastic on top for things that could get wet. I also appreciated that it had a lift for the floor so nothing was flat to the ground in case it rained hard.

    However, when the container was dropped off, the driver could have come a little closer to the house so that a car could get in the driveway. I'm also in a temporary wheelchair and I needed it to be a little closer so it wouldn't be so hard for me to get through. I even asked the driver if that was as close as he could get but all he did was nod his head so I made it work. But other than that, I really loved the experience.

    In the simplest terms: DONT USE THEM. The service was exceptionally awful, failed to provide weight tickets even though paid for these ($41.00 per charge); they boast of a 10% military discount, but charge you full month rental rates for storage at the receiving end even though you've paid a delivery date that should have been directly delivered. Further the customer service has been horrendous - I can't even fathom how someone could tolerate the level of "service" that has been rendered. Just pitiful. Use the military move system, DON'T continue to support or provide support for the use of PODS Moving Company.

    I have used PODS before. The first container I had was a newer version. This one I got, a 16-footer, was the older one, but it was clean and I was able to fit my whole house in it. It was pretty sturdy and everything was safe. I had it shipped, stored and moved across the country. Dealing with their representative went well and their drivers were good too. They called me before they were coming and showed up when they said they would.

    I moved from Massachusetts to Florida and I was going to stay with my brother for a couple of months until I found a place to live and work in. During the hurricane Irma, his boss had an apartment next to their office. It's on a higher ground and I took it. I told PODS all the furniture that I was taking and the number of boxes I had. They suggested the size which was the second size up and it was perfect. I filled it up to the door and got to load it myself with some help from my son, son-in-law and friends from work. So, I knew where my stuff were, then PODS picked it up and it was smooth.

    All the drivers made it so easy and everything they did or said they would do they did. They couldn't have been more helpful and polite. They called before they got here so I was aware and I didn't really have to be here so, it was very nice. The guy that dropped the container off was excellent, too. I came out when I saw him go in with the pod. He explained everything he was going to do and I didn't have to be involved. He said that when he was done, he would let me know and they couldn't have been nicer.

    PODS' reps also called after it was all done to see if I had any issues and if there were problems once I opened the container. There wasn't any problem but I had to call to keep it an extra day or two and they were wonderful about that. The charges went through just like they said and everything cost just what they told me. I even got a little bit back and that came when they said so, so that was perfect, too.

    I have moved a lot in my life and so many times, I've rented a truck and loaded that myself. Then I had to drive and follow it in the car. PODS' service didn't cost as much as renting a truck, driving that far and paying the mileage. I didn't have to worry about the truck getting in and out, plus, I didn't see the pod until they delivered it and that took a lot off my mind. So it was a wonderful experience. I had somebody else that moved from California into Massachusetts who also used PODS and they told me that they had the same great experience. If I ever move again, I would use them in a minute.

    I needed containers from PODS for my moving and I don't trust any other moving companies. There are a few companies that have POD-type systems but I like the size of PODS’ containers. Their price is reasonable and it worked out. I started booking online and decided to do it on the phone. The phone was easier because the online was a bit confusing. I requested three 16-footers and they were clean and secure.

    Everybody I talked to was very positive, liked their jobs and had a great attitude, particularly Mark in El Paso. The guy pulled some strings to get things early and to work around my situation. He did a great job. It's been pleasant and they were very helpful. It was a very good experience and I liked the ability to have control over your own things, and to pack your own things the way they should be packed, and know that they're not going to get transferred to some other truck or bounced around. That's great service and I'd recommend them.

    We were having our floors redone, and we needed somewhere to move some of the furniture. When I talked to PODS they were easy to get along with and they got the pod to me when I needed it. I booked the pod over the phone and the rep treated me very well. I was pleased. We had then filled up the 16-footer pod. It held everything we needed, but I don’t think we could have gotten much more in. We were wanting the pod to be placed with the door to the front, where we could put it in our driveway up against the side of the house, but I have my electrical wires and our cable TV there and the guy couldn’t quite get back where we wanted it. But we set it forward and the fellow that came to move our furniture then had to do a little extra walking, but he didn’t seem to mind. When we called and told them that we were done, they came and got the pod when they said they would. Overall, I was completely satisfied.

    I needed temporary storage for moving and PODS had what I needed. I also rented a public storage but with the big furniture, I'd have to rent a truck and move all of that. Then I have to rent another truck for everything else. With PODS, it was better. I could just bring the container, put everything in it, then they take it and delivery it to me. At first I checked out PODS online because I wanted to see their service, prices, and the container sizes. Then I called them to set up the account. They asked me about the placement of the unit, if there was a fence in the area, how big the space was and the clearance. They also gave me the information that I needed and helped me out.

    They gave me the details about the drivers, too, and told me that they would call me before they arrive and they did. The drivers were great and watching how they moved the containers for the first time was amazing. I've never seen that before because when I ordered the container, I didn't know how they do it. Also, the container was the perfect size for me. But when I asked about the military discount, which I do everywhere, the rep I talked to couldn't help me and I couldn't get the discount right away. I had to do something and they had to call back or call somebody else and try. Then, it didn't show up in the account so, I simply let it go. Other than that, my experience was very good.

    I could give PODS a negative rating I would. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I decided to rent a U-Haul and do an on-site pick up due to small driveway at new place. Prior to the pick up I received a phone call saying that my POD has been moved from Norwood, MA location (where it had been for 2 months) to Nashua, NH. It also said this online. I called the company twice and was told they didn’t know why I was told that and why internet reflected that, but my things were not moved and were still in Norwood, MA. I asked multiple times during each phone call and every time was assured it was in Norwood and was even provided address.

    I hired movers, who met me in Norwood and rented U-Haul and arrived at Norwood location on scheduled day. Not only could I not find my POD but could not find any staff and took 30 min to get through on phone to company. When I finally did, they told me my POD was in NH not Norwood. After I told them I was assured it was in Norwood, they put me on hold and came back saying it was in fact in Norwood MA. They then had me and my movers wait 1 hour where they searched Norwood warehouse and could not find it, at which point they told me it was in fact in Nashua, NH.

    I expressed that this was extremely frustrating as I was paying movers by the hour and was now going to be paying an extra $450 due to their error. They offers me $25 compensation. An incident report was filed and now 2 months later they have come back saying that I will not be reimbursed but as a “goodwill gesture” will give me $150. When I told them I wanted to speak to manager, I was denied. After insisting, I was told they will let the manager know, but should not expect a callback.

    Not only this, but I also had to wait over a week as the PODS site was down due to hurricane. While I understand FL was in a state of emergency, I was not even able to get in touch with local warehouse in MA (or NH) to schedule time for pick up. The day the POD was delivered, one was brought to my house and then 1 hour later another POD was delivered, even though I had only ordered one. Fortunately I was home to send the other POD away. Not one aspect of this process has been easy due to the company’s complete incompetence.

    Every single staff member I have spoken to has been extremely rude and not at all helpful. It blows my mind that the company refuses to take any responsibility for their error which cost me $450. They keep saying that they left me a voicemail to inform me of change of location... Even though I followed up that phone call and was promised it was not moved. Not to mention the day of the move, they still had no idea where my POD actually was. I am disgusted with this company. After researching, I see I am not alone in this feeling. Do not use this company.

    We got PODS for moving and storage. I booked with them online and then I talked to a rep. The reps were all professional and excellent. When I had to make a few changes, a couple of them gave me a bit more information than the others. It was really good. I got one 16-foot container and the other was seven, but I probably should have gotten two 16s because we ended up leaving some stuff in a second home and rented a U-Haul to get it here.

    We had a lot of rain this summer and when we got here, one of the containers had a leak in it somewhere, but both containers were very clean. The drivers were great. The guys who dropped it off at the first drop off explained to me how it was going to be placed in the driveway. The first drop was in May and the final drop was 1st of October, so my things were stored between May and September. But I was quite upset at the final drop off. I have a new home, and a new side, and when they picked up the final container, they rolled on the side and tore it up.

    I was moving and I liked PODS’ ability to put our stuff in the container in for a few days. I got a quote online then they sent me an email and I called them back. Selena was my rep and she was excellent and gave us a discount for the 16-foot container we got. The pod had an old stain but a guy gave us a couple of blankets to lay on the floor to make sure nothing got stained. Dave, their driver, was very helpful. I explained to him where to put the heaviest stuff so it was balanced and there was no issue when they lifted it. There was also very good contact. We were told when they were coming out, when they picked up the pod, and when our credit card was charged. They were excellent. All we moved were boxes and we had our stuff in the container for five days. We were sent a survey which I accomplished and we were told to call them if we had any questions.     PODS did exactly what I needed to do. It fits best for me as far as storage and price and then transportation. I set up the service over the phone and the people were good. I wish their containers were a little bit longer and wider. I requested for the 16-footer and 7-footer, and they were okay but the 7-footer wasn't big enough so I wound up replacing it with a 16-footer also. Right now they’re still in storage for delivery to Florida in January. Everything's been good so far and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend PODS.

    It's always nice to keep the price lower and competitive because that's how people usually choose different companies. We like PODS’ availability and cost and my husband did the booking online.     I needed a container to hold my things while I was redoing my kitchen. We booked PODS online and my daughter could navigate the site well. When the driver dropped off the 18-footer, I told him we had no problem as long as I had the driveway clear. I had an old platform from where my motor home used to sit and he set the pod on that. When he picked it up, he kept clear and took it away. I only filled it three-quarters full, and then I had to store the cabinets in there once they came, so I had enough room for everything.

    Issue #1: hired PODS to move and store my furniture. Requested they take my POD from home to facility on MASSARO BLVD in Tampa and not HOLIDAY, FL due to Hurricane season. Unsure of final delivery location. I was informed that 50 miles was considered LOCAL and 20 mile delivery from storage facility was free. (PAID $49.95 monthly for contents insurance. Hired packers RECOMMENDED BY PODS to professionally pack and load POD. Bought blankets from PODS, also shrink wrap, bands, straps, etc.)

    5/27/17 POD picked up and taken to Holiday; unknown to me because my papers said Massaro Blvd. On 10/12/17 I called PODS and advised I moved to Orlando location and needed POD delivered there. Door to door would be @ 93 miles up Interstate 4. This is @ 42 miles (or so) farther than the local area. I am told this is now a LONG DISTANCE MOVE. No different than LA to NY. I understand I am no longer in Tampa Bay but the same category? I see no reason why the PODZILLA can't drive directly to my home and deliver the POD and I would expect some upcharge. I am advised that the POD is in Holiday which is 41 miles FARTHER away then it should be. They will have to transport the POD first to the Tampa Storage facility where it was supposed to be in the first place.

    Then they will WAIT for a flatbed that will transport 3 PODS at the same time from Tampa to ORLANDO POD facility. That is 95 miles. (2 miles farther than a direct drive to my home). I will have to pay $50 for a ONE TIME TRANSPORTATION insurance policy for that trip over and above my monthly insurance. That cost will be about $450.00. There is NO NEGOTIATING that figure. Then I will have to have the POD delivered to my home which is @ 8 miles away for a cost of $139.10. In addition they charged me another $49.95 monthly fee for the Orlando storage facility (which I have someone looking into at this moment after hours on the phone yesterday).

    My bill just stated Transportation Mileage 10/16/17. No miles listed. No point to point. No Bill of Lading. No company listed. The fee was $501.12 adjusted to $451.01 When I inquired yesterday as to the MILES driven and cost per mile, etc., no one knew and it all had to be looked up. Cost is $4.32 per mile. 116 miles which is incorrect. We argued over that. I was told truck route is difference (I4 is the truck route.) At $4.32 per mile... the difference is $90.72! When I asked about the separate insurance I found out it's ANOTHER COMPANY and NOT PODS!

    No idea who moved my POD! Also they were paid 3X the price which I gather is the incentive to NOT DELIVER the POD to my home in addition to the additional $139.10. Apparently the free delivery within the 20 mile radius was omitted. If that was in the Tampa market only, then how about deducting the first 20 miles at $4.32 per mile? That's another $86.40. But I was reminded it's a long distance move. There is NOTHING posted regarding mileage on their website. No $ for miles within certain ranges, meaning they can charge WHATEVER THEY FEEL LIKE. I checked the trucking websites and the going rate NOW for my area is $2.74 per mile for a flatbed and I see nothing in my papers saying they subcontract and I pay for that additional cost. Understand at this point they have MY POD in their custody.

    ISSUE #2: Pod is delivered and you can clearly see furniture/something is bulging into the rollup door. Driver says it won't go up and it is NOW jammed. The ONLY way to resolve that is for him to lift it back up on the PODZILLA and start rocking it until the furniture moves. I had PROFESSIONAL movers unpack and shrink wrap to deliver my BROKEN furniture.

    I have called to report damages. I am not optimistic based upon what I have read. They already moved the POD 2 times more than they had to, once because they took it to the wrong facility and the other FOR PROFIT. Who knows how it was handled? How many times was it moved within the facility? How many times was it rocked? How was it driven? They drove it 160 miles more than they had to drive it. I contacted the packers that were recommended by PODS. I was told I HAD TO SEE THE PACKERS DAMAGE the furniture. Was I supposed to be a mouse inside the POD? The furniture was wrapped in blankets. When you read the insurance it is CLEARLY written to get PODS out of every liability possible.

    Depending on how this all goes down, I plan on contacting the Attorney General. My furniture was stored from 5/27 through 10/24/17. The distance from my home to the Tampa facility was @ 22 miles and from there to my new residence was @ 92 miles. My total bill was $2595.37 (credited $623.58). $1971.79 to date PAID IN FULL. I didn't elaborate on the invoice issues. They generated so many incorrect invoices, it took me hours to figure out what was going on. Hence the credits. I can upload anything else you need to see.

    I was moving and needed to store my belongings for a while. I priced the companies out and to go to a cheaper storage place, I would have had to load the stuff onto a truck, take it to the storage area and unload it, and then do the same when I came to move in to my house. If it were a small truck, it would have been multiple loads. But with PODS, they brought the container and I loaded it. They picked it up at my front door and took it away, then I brought it back when I wanted it and they dropped it off at my front door.

    I booked over the phone and if I had any question, they answered it. The 16-foot was the perfect size. I worked it like a puzzle and I managed to get everything that I needed in it.     I knew someone who used PODS several years ago and were happy with it. Rather than wrangle a bunch of people to help move us, we thought it might be cheaper and easier to store them in one of those pods until we were ready to move since we sold one house and we had to pack a little earlier than expected.     We ordered PODS' smallest container. I started online and then I got into a place where I needed help so I called. It was apparent right off the bat that they couldn’t deliver to my house and I couldn’t find out on the website where the nearest place would be. That was critical because if I was going to have to go hundreds of miles away from home to get the stuff that wouldn’t have worked out. That question couldn’t be answered online. I called and it took about 10 minutes on hold. The interactions with all the representatives I spoke with was excellent, very professional, very helpful, and very quick.

    The containers are really neat like you-could-eat-off-the-floor clean and I had not seen one before. They're really sturdy and there are lots of tie-downs in it. It's a very nice little container. There was a place to put on a padlock of our own, which we did. If somebody wanted to really break into one of those containers you could do it easily. The walls are not that thick. But it was either on a truck or in the storage facility which are both secure places so I didn’t have any concern about the security of our belongings. And when the pod was exposed to the rain it didn’t leak. Everything stayed dry inside.

    The pod was delivered to the driveway and we loaded it up. They transported it from Santee, California to Wilsonville, Oregon, the storage area there. We came down with our pickup and trailer, emptied the pod, and took it home with us. I was going to have them put it in a friend’s place but then I learned that the storage area for all their pods was in Wilsonville and that was a reasonable place for us to go.

    The driver was very skilled in driving. The driveway we had to have the pod put on was a little bit uphill with a curve. He backed right up and put it exactly where it needed to be. He took his little wheely carrying device off the truck and carried the pod the rest of the way. He worked it with a joystick and that was fascinating to watch. He was a very personable fellow and he got it done quickly.

    My wife ordered PODS when we were moving and got the larger container. The pod came on time and the guy involved in unloading it was terrific. He put it exactly where we wanted it. The delivery and pickup were great on both ends and the people who worked for me were good. The technology is good because they were able to unload it off the truck outside the driveway and drive it in the last 50 feet which was more complicated in Florida than it was in Greenwich.

    The unit we had did not have enough hooks for tie-down so we packed it fairly low. We run rope and tie things down but it didn’t affect us because we weren’t pushing it up very high. We paid a little more money so we wouldn’t have to pile it up because it was mostly plastic cases for files but a bunch of them broke because the thing must have popped up and down a little bit different times in the highway.     I saw a friend use PODS years ago and remember her telling me how efficient it was, so I decided to try them for both my moving and storage needs. I started booking with them online and ended up calling. I'm 64 and I personally prefer speaking to a person because I usually have questions that I can't have answered on the internet. And although it wasn't too complicated, I found it hard to figure out once in a while and I just felt like I needed to talk to a person. I spoke to someone about how they were going to pick up the pod in the driveway as they thought there was going to be some restrictions. But the carrier drivers were all very professional, helpful and nice to deal with.

    I requested a 7-foot container and it was sturdy and didn't seem overly dirty. For what I needed, it was fine. Moving it was wonderful too. It was fantastic all the way around with very minimal breakage. We had it stored for several months and we needed to get in the pod twice.     We decorated a little bit so I needed to clear out the house. I saw an advertisement and figured I’ll give PODS a shot rather than go to a regular storage because it was more convenient to drop the container right in my yard so there would be less walking and moving the furniture. At first, I called and the representative was very knowledgeable. We went online, booked the biggest container they had, which accommodated what I had to do, and got it from the Hartford location. The driver was very nice, dropped the container where we wanted it and told me what he was doing. Everything was good and things worked out well. I was happy with the weatherproofing. We got a little bit of weather, so the plastic cover over the top helped.

    I'm a courier service so I pick up and deliver myself and there's no doubt PODS is good with service, too, but they might want to consider the high price on pickup and delivery, not so much on the monthly storage. We were going to pick up the container after we got done at my house and drop it at my son-in-law’s house, which is four miles away from me. I was going to still continue paying the monthly rent while he did some renovations at his home, but every time PODS came and picked up, the price seemed substantial. We paid for the mileage. I just thought if one books online then they would GPS the nearest company so that would monitor the customer from getting it.     PODS has the best rates and the most convenient location to where I needed the pod to be dropped off and then dropped back off at the new house. I booked the pod online and it was super simple. The website had a really nice layout and had easy instructions on how to book everything. I booked the 16-foot container but I underestimated the amount of junk we have so it didn’t quite fit everything but we still managed. The pod was clean and sturdy. It rained for three days while we were packing and the pod didn’t leak once. It definitely was in good condition.

    The local PODS crew that I worked with went above and beyond and it was great. On the first drop-off when they dropped the pod off at our new residence, it was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. I made a mistake and I didn’t realize till we were settling into our new home that day and the property managers wouldn’t let the delivery guy drop the pod. I didn’t know that our property manager wouldn’t let him drop it off before we close on the property. So unfortunately, the delivery guy couldn’t get it out there that same day but his boss called me to let me know and they rescheduled the drop-off for the first thing in the morning the next day.

    We had movers planned for the next day so we needed that pod there in time and they really delivered over something that wasn’t even their fault. They were super courteous. The delivery guy called me and explained the situation. He said, “I’m going to try really hard to get out here after I’ve finished all the other drop-offs that I have to do.     All the other times I moved, I always rented a truck. But this time, because I was buying and selling a house, I didn’t know how long the gap would be in between moving. So I figured I could use something to store my stuff and PODS sounded like it was going to fit my needs. I booked online then spoke with their rep on the phone and had it set up the way I needed it. Their reps were very professional and everything went well with them. I had their largest container and it was clean. I was also impressed with the way they designed the inside and with the machine that delivered it. The pod even felt like one of the large uranium containment tanks that I saw in New Mexico. I used the storage at my location first where I was and then where I went to. That’s what made it convenient for me and I ended up having the pod for a couple of months.

    I had three different drivers. There was a take off driver, the delivery driver, and a pile pick-up driver. They all have a different experience level with the machine but they all seemed to work very well with it. They also cleaned up the facilities when they were done. But I found one discrepancy. There was a delay in me purchasing my new home so I changed the address where the pod would be delivered. The change was all accepted but their records historically and online both showed the old address. They delivered it to the right address though and everything was in good shape. But I was still worried that if I finally came to pick up the pod, there’s going to be a problem because it wasn’t the address that they said they were coming to. So I called them up and they said that their record for the driver was correct. Other than that, I would recommend PODS.     I was in the military for 22 years and I was shipped all over by the government. Every time I was shipped and arrived at my destination, I had broken and missing stuff. I was fed up with that, so I decided to go with PODS because I could load, lock, and unload the pod myself, so I had nothing but good luck with this move.     I called PODS and their reps were extremely helpful. I got the 15-foot container which was perfect for what I needed, but the plywood at the floor had buckled. There was a weak spot in it that was very noticeable. It was where the few pieces of plywood in the floor are joined together and if you put weight on it, you could see daylight through it. Other than that, it was great.

    The driver who dropped it off was amazing - very friendly, very respectful, and very knowledgeable. When they dropped it off three months later, the driver was very attentive. He let me know when he was leaving the facility to drop it off. I wasn't there but he informed me that he had put a piece of board over one of my sprinkler heads because he was afraid that it might damage it, and he did a perfect job. We had no issues with having our pods delivered, even though I booked one only a few days ahead of time. We loaded the pods and get them picked up, again no issues. Now my home loan needs 4 extra days to close so I have to move my redelivery date to the following week. I can get one pod delivered that week of close but no final pick up until after the recurring monthly charge. I’ve been assured that we won’t be charged but we will see?

    The second pod I can’t get delivered until a week after I move in. I have no bed, no baby crib, no dishes, no washer & dryer. All of it stuck in a pod for 6 days because you don’t have the availability to deliver it... Why was it so easy & convenient before you had all my stuff & now all I want is it back & you don’t have the drivers to deliver in a timely fashion? Also I personally spoke the GM here in KC who was supposed to see if he could squeeze us in anywhere & he never called me back like he promised to or returned my follow up messages.     I booked online with PODS and the site was easy to navigate. I had a problem wherein I thought I booked something and didn’t go through and so I called customer support and they did a very good job of getting someone out as soon as they could. I booked for the biggest pod and it was clean and pretty new. It was made very sturdy but it didn’t seem like the door was all that thick. I put two padlocks on it just for my own safety but I didn’t have any problems. We had to get our house ready so we stored the pod in front of our old house until we got ready to move and then we had it transported over to the new house. The people who picked up the pod were nice guys and always made a call to me when they were generally about 20 to 30 minutes out. It was an all around good experience and if I end up moving again, I would use PODS.

    I needed PODS to drop the unit off in my driveway and then pick it up and put it in their storage unit for a little while and then return it to my new location. I booked online and it was very easy for me and well-explained. I requested the size 16 container. I was quite intrigued by how their system works and I thought they were going to use a forklift but the guy who delivered it said it’s built into the unit. He let me stand up there and watch. And he was very attentive to where I wanted it exactly, on the edge of the driveway. And he said, "I just have to make sure we don't hit any of these sprinkler heads.” He was outstanding. And the guy that picked it up was just as good. He picked it up and I didn’t even know it. I didn’t even hear him from inside the house.

    We used PODS after being able to sell our house in a very short period of time. Unfortunately, we didn't have another house. When we found one, the people that we bought it from rented it back from us. So, we lived with my parents for a couple of months. At that time, we had used a storage container until we were able to move in. We chose PODS since they were a little less expensive. They were convenient too.

    We started our booking process online, and it was really easy. All I had to do was log in, and schedule the days that I wanted it picked up and brought to me.     I was moving and needed a storage. I’ve used PODS before and they’ve always done good service for me so I went back. It was easy to book them online. The pod they brought me was supposed to be for one room, like a small house or studio and we supposedly had a good deal on it but I couldn't put everything in. They came back, got that one, and they brought me the next one up - the 10' or the 12'. The 16' was too expensive. The driver was really nice. He called me to let me know he was coming, and the person who picked up the pod did the same thing. In addition, the customer service people were good, too. We just had a disagreement on how much I was supposed to be billed. One minute they're saying one price, then another time they're saying something else.

    I truly appreciate the service that they have available for individuals. They have given me a relief and it makes life a lot easier when it comes to moving.     PODS seemed to be the most reputable, so I booked them for moving. I did it over the phone because I'm not too good online and I wanted to make sure that I had the POD. I was on hold for a couple of minutes, which was not that bad. Dealing with their reps were awesome. I got help in deciding what size containers I needed and I ended up getting the 16-foot one. But, I could have used the bigger one. The way the POD was built is pretty cool and they're sturdy. My belongings were safe because they were lifted straight up.

    The drivers showed up on time and were professional. I spoke with the gentleman coming to my house the first time it turns out he knew my dad and then the other gentleman who redelivered my POD was a nice guy as well. He wanted to know where I wanted it, where was I going to be putting the furniture in, and what would be best for me. He also put the POD in a direction where I can directly walk from the POD into my garage.

    The only problem I had was trying to get my POD out of the driveway for the people moving in. When I originally ordered the POD I was told that it would take two to four days of notice to get my POD moved. Then when I was moving out of my house I had to leave it there for four days on top of the four days that I waited because of booking issues. I don't know if they were all booked or they're really busy. Also, the guy who moved to my house all the way from Ohio had two PODS getting delivered and they couldn't take my POD back to the yard with them. But other than that, everything else was great and I would definitely use them again.

    We were renovating our house, so we needed to move our furniture out while renovations were taking place and the easiest way was storing them with PODS until we needed them. I had a terrible time with the website and had to call over the phone. The first time I booked online, I had picked a reservation date and I'd gotten a confirmation for it. However, when I went back a couple of weeks later to look at it, I had no date on there. I'm not really sure what was happening to it but it didn't ever work.

    We stored things in two stages. We filled one 16-foot pod with furniture from 3 bedrooms, then they took it away. The furniture that didn't go in the pod was moved to our basement. They brought it back and we unloaded it. Then we loaded it again a second time and they took it away again. This time we loaded it with furniture from an office, the dining room, and the kitchen table. Then they finally brought it back one last time. I could never do any of that via the website. I had to do it by calling every time.

    The POD was full and we had tie-downs on stuff. Everything was fine in there. The driver did a good job. It was impressive how they got the 16-foot POD onto my driveway. The reps were helpful and got everything done. If I had really been moving somewhere, I would have used a moving truck facility, but storage-wise it worked.

    My husband talked me into using PODS because I was against paying money to store my stuff. They totally won me over and changed my mind.     I had two PODS containers moved from Las Vegas, Nevada to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. I looked things up for myself online, but mostly, I booked over the phone. The customer service reps were fine and everyone was friendly. I thought it would be a little less than a regular mover but I paid more than I intended to pay. They quoted me a much cheaper price when I made an appointment in February, and then as the season went along and they got busier, they told me that I could go ahead and lock it in. I said I may not be moving until June or July but they said it’s alright, so I locked it in. Then, I had an offer on the house and it fell through so I called them up and canceled it. It was just a matter of timing and things get much more expensive in the summertime. Gasoline had gone up and more people were moving. I would have come out a couple thousand dollars cheaper, but I can’t blame anyone for that but myself.

    I had two eight by eight by sixteen, two larger ones, and the containers themselves were in good condition. They worked out just fine and the PODS people referred me to some movers who did a very good job. I was quite pleased with them too. My street was crowded and the drivers had to unchain but they did get in there. The drivers were very professional and when I got here to Arkansas, the people who delivered them were really friendly. They were real and casual type of guys, and they were relaxed and they knew what they were doing. That kind of result may be an Arkansas thing where people are a little bit slower paced here than they are in Nevada, in Las Vegas. If I ever move again, I would probably use PODS and I will know how to use them better this time. I was quite happy and everything went as I expected. Overall, it was a good experience with PODS.

    I had a PODS container for about a week, then loaded it up, got it shipped across, unloaded it and they took it back. I liked that their price was relatively reasonable and also the flexibility of loading their container at my own leisure. I also liked their good reputation for reliable service. Their reps were always fantastic. I got a quote first from one rep that was somewhat mistaken. They quoted me the price for a seven foot POD when I needed a 16. So there’s some confusion there but it wasn’t a big deal. The second rep I spoke to when it came time to actually book was very good and extremely helpful. Plus, the drivers were all great on both ends; getting me a call in advance to let me know when they were coming and being flexible on where to place the container.

    One negative was on this end of the move. I moved to an apartment and PODS is not the best for an apartment due to the parking constraint. Another negative was that not being to schedule specific pick-up times in order to know exactly when it’s going to be coming can be a little difficult. Aside from those points, I had a very good experience. Everyone is very courteous, professional and timely. I would recommend them to most people although, in apartment situations, I would mention the cautionary things there.

    The container that I requested was structurally intact, but PODS could have used a good sweeping. The driver who dropped it off initially while we loaded was exceptionally nice and accommodating, but the driver who dropped it off at the end was kind of a mean guy. He helped to put the pod on the street. When he was to do that, I had some stuff on the driveway and he said, “I’m leaving now.” He wouldn’t give five minutes to take the boxes off the driveway before he threatened to leave and reschedule. That was very frustrating and that was the only negative experience. But he ended up waiting those 5 minutes while I had my neighbor help me clear all the boxes. And he dropped it off on the driveway. Outside of that driver, it was a very good experience. They were very efficient and flexible.     I've had a great relationship with PODS over the years. The drivers have been fantastic. They're always working to meet or exceed my expectations. They had picked up a container I had and that contract is now up. I would recommend it. However, my experience today hasn't been good. I've been trying to get a container for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. I understand that they go on board for the Marine Corps, but the corporate hasn't come out with it yet. I need it for the Florida Keys and I was told that they would not deliver anything to the Keys. So, that's putting me in a really bad shape right now. I've got 3,000 toys being held in order to find a place to put it in the world of devastation and it's not working out.     Used PODS to move from Atlanta to Huntsville. The driver caused damage to our yard by backing the truck up over a curb and through part of our year, even though PODS had previously dropped a larger unit in the same spot several years ago even though there was a large oak tree that had to be maneuvered around at that time. (The tree is no longer there now.) I have forwarded pictures and was told it would be up to 4 weeks for a response to my claim. It has now been over 8 weeks. Phone calls are not returned and no resolution offered.

    PODS has a clever way of diverting their responsibility in matters. When the problem first came up I was told they reviewed the disclaimers I listened to on a recorded message. I lost reception during the call and never heard the complete message. I could not find that information online and even asked where I could find it for review. Today, the term "Response time COULD VARY" when answering my e-mail. 2+ months with NO contact from their e-mail (not the date of the original complaint). 3 business days with no return call, and the first thing I get is an excuse.

    The air conditioner water leaked on the living room, dining room floor up and the carpet of my house so we replaced everything last July. We remodeled and put our things in the condo and then had to do it over again. I still have stuff in storage so my son suggested a pod, which worked out fine. I got a big and a small one and we had both completely full. The drivers came at 8:00 in the morning and one guy came with the first one. I went out with three boxes because the parking place is limited at the condo. Then I walked back because I took the box, called back, and the guy had to come along from the condo and he helped me back in the house. Then the next guy came along and put the next one down. And when they had to come and pick the pods up from my yard, they came when they were supposed to. Everybody was excellent.

    Things were really hectic and we didn't have a whole lot of time to research about PODS online. We've heard of them but we had a lot of questions so the rep I spoke with was able to answer them all and was extremely helpful. He tried to make sure that our dates were met and see what discounts we are qualified for. He walked us through every step of the way, so it was a positive interaction with him. I booked with them over the phone and used their pod for storage. We requested the largest container they have. We've had a pod delivered to our house, picked up from our house and then delivered at our new house, and picked up from our new house after usage. It was convenient to have them to move our big and heavy things.

    We had the same driver all throughout except for the final pick up and he was fantastic, extremely personable with a great personality, answered our questions and talked us through everything. He even wanted to show off the pod to our kids, and let them honk the horn on the truck. It was fun and good stuff. And then, it was a different driver for the final pick. We live in an area where there were only certain days that could pick up or drop-off. So, that was the only challenge, but everything was positive.     We are moving out-of-state and we had our POD delivered, we loaded and they picked up, then moved to storage facility. October 22nd: I called to schedule our move and was given a delivery date of October 31st. We then booked airfare, travel, unloading help, utilities, internet etc all based on this date. October 23rd: Our account was billed $2,000+ for the move out-of-state.

    October 25th: A representative from PODS called to ASK me if we would accept a later date as the employee had incorrectly promised a date that was not available. I informed her of the countless items that had been coordinated AND paid for once the original date had been given. I then told her we could not change the dates. She offered me a $100 refund!!! $100! I informed her this wouldn't work and I was placed on hold while she talked to her supervisor. 15 minutes later I was hung up on.

    I have called every day since and been offered nothing more and NO SOLUTION to this company's error other than repeated offerings of $100 refunds. I spoke with "Jeff the supervisor" today who said I can request a larger refund but it would be reviewed after 5-7 business days by the "resolution team". Jeff then refused to give me his full name, direct line OR email address so that I could follow up with him. This IS NOT OVER.

    My mother moved in with me and we had a month before the storage building can be delivered. My sister-in-law suggested using PODS but I assumed that they were too expensive. While I was sitting in court waiting for our case to come up, I looked PODS up and see how much it was, and it was a lot more reasonably priced than I had originally thought. So, I asked my mom if she was interested in doing that and she said that it sounded great. When I called PODS, the salesperson gave me a promotional discount and I got a little bit off the price. It was a bit cheaper than if I had booked it online. The size of the container we got was 12 foot and it was exactly what we needed.

    The driver who picked up the container was very professionally dressed. I would never have expected them to look so nice and they were super knowledgeable about their equipment since they were in and out in less than four minutes. They were also on time. They called ahead of time to let me know when they were going to be there. My sister was fascinated with the guy that dropped the pod off.     I had a delay when we could move into our new house and PODS was the most controllable way to do it. I started booking them online and then had questions. I did both pods at different times and I went over the phone more than online because I got more information when I was talking with someone. They were great and very informative but I was a little disappointed in the second pod because when I spoke to the girl, she said that I could get a large one and then the small one showed up. So that was a little bit frustrating but we made it work. The guy said that was what’s on his order and so that was what he brought. I just assumed the girl had made a mistake on the phone and I made a follow up because I didn't have a choice since I have to get the stuff out. We had to run a U-Haul to get the remainder of the stuff but we worked it out.

    On the tail end, the driver showed up to deliver my pods and he was phenomenal. We live in a long private drive and down where we wanted the pods, there were no obstructions but we didn’t realize that the wires were too low on the private drive for the truck to pass underneath when he came to the property. He went out of his way to find a location where we could put the pods, hire another U-Haul and transport the stuff to our home. I tried to find out the actual height of the truck and I know there’s a maximum clearance but there’s a leeway there. U-Haul gives actual measurements from the ground up and you could see exactly what the height is. It would be helpful online if they show a diagram like U-Haul. But other than that, it was a good experience and I’d recommend them.

    In October of 2016 my house caught on fire and so my insurance company ordered a PODS unit and they covered the cost of it up until April of 2017. After April of 2017 I took over the payments for the PODS unit. Since then PODS was sending me my bills on the due date and saying that my bills were late and charging me a late fee. When I called to have them come and take the PODS unit away on October 29th 2017, they told me there was three months past due and all the months were paid for and I had the cancelled checks and receipts to prove that they were paid and they were trying to charge me an additional $25 late fees when in fact they were sending my bills out deliberately late.

    The envelopes would be postmarked the due date when the bill was due, for example, the bill due date was for the 19th of every month and I had to have a coupon to mail back with my check in order for my account to be credited from the understanding I got from PODS. When they mailed my bill it was mailed on the 19th of every month according to the postmark on the envelope. When I mailed my payment back it would be late of course because I did not receive my bill in the proper time that it would take to get it back to the company on time.

    I have all the letters from the insurance company and from the PODS people to prove they were paid and they're trying to claim 3 months of non-payment as well as late fees. Now they are refusing to take back their container until they get their money. This is extortion to the highest form that I can possibly even think of! When I asked for an account manager Cassidy the customer service representative, said she didn't know who that was and I would have to call back on Monday to find out. This is the most awful experience I've ever had with renting a container. That container is ready to go back and is paid up to date and they refused to take it because they want more money and they're not getting it! I will not recommend PODS to anyone and I will not ever use them again!

    I had a very good experience with PODS. I liked the idea of being able to just move the things in slowly and keep it for a month. It worked out better for us this way for this move. I booked over the phone and the rep treated me well. The container was a bit small, but the rep went by what I told her. It's a little hard explaining that on the phone. We read too late that they suggest applying pesticide in the container. It was written in the instructions, but we started putting stuff in as soon as it hit the ground and there were red ants in there. They could have done it themselves to discourage red ants and other bugs from getting in. Nonetheless, the drivers were excellent the whole way. They were courteous. They came and picked it up when they said they were going to and they ended up dropping it off before we got here, but they dropped it off in a really good spot, exactly where I told them.     My wife did a little research and was looking at a couple of storage solutions. PODS had a special deal offered and she said that it was not a bad deal at that time. PODS turned out to be the best option for us. She booked online and the process went well but ended up making a few phone calls because there was some confusion. We requested the smaller pod and we needed the pod picked up and then stored for two or three months. PODS did that and then delivered it without breaking anything. They did what they said they were going to do. They shipped and hauled our stuff away and brought it back when we needed it.

    There was decent enough communication before and after the delivery driver was going to come and go. The first time they delivered the pod, I got several calls alerting me that they were coming between this and that time. The gentleman who came was a good driver and he delivered without making a whole lot of mess. There was a lock still left on the pod and he cut it off. Then a day before the delivery to the new house, the driver called to ask how far off the driveway we would want the pod to be. So, there was nothing that I could be frustrated about.

    PODS worked better for what we were doing and their rep was very positive. We had empty pods delivered, they picked up and stored the full ones then they delivered the full ones to our new house. But we needed to change the delivery date of our pods and it was less than stellar for the first conversation with the rep. Although he initiated a fix, he wasn't the one who finished the problem due to his work schedule. A few other people worked hard and resolved things. I was concerned at first but it worked out fine. They were going to pick up the empty pods later that week so we wanted the full pods delivered on that day. Initially, the response was two weeks out and it was a ridiculous scheduling. The local scheduler in Everett was the one who pointed out that there was no difference in taking the full ones or to picking up the empties. The truck was going out anyway.

    We had two 16-foot containers but we could have used bigger ones. I wish we didn't have that much stuff and another eight foot would have been too much but that would have filled everything and that would have been fine. The first container was the newer model so it was nice and I liked it. But the second container was an older model and there were cross beams across the top which hindered a couple things. We were planning on a full eight feet but with those cross beams, that shrank the eight by just a little bit here and there so that was a bit of a bother.

    Also, the wood floor in the old container wasn't quite as friendly as the plastic on the new one. There were also some frames that were damaged and there were little scratches here and there which were expected. It was all good with the drivers though and they knew what they were doing. They were efficient so it was fun to watch and it was a cool process. Everything was fine. If you move your own stuff and you don't want to pay for movers, PODS is the way to go and more people should do it. Although rescheduling can get kind of scary, it's a good thing the guys at PODS work hard.

    We knew PODS, seen a lot of them, and their website is easy to navigate. We got one of their storage pods at the end of July and it worked well. It didn’t leak so we were happy about that. It could hold 3-4 rooms and its door was easy to operate. Their drivers were very friendly and excellent and we enjoyed seeing them with the machine that took the pod off the flatbed and put it on when they picked it up.

    I was glad that they let me have it for a month but the price was $125 when we initially look at it and I thought was good. Then the next thing was it’s $350 since we had to pay for the delivery and pick up, which should’ve all been included in one price. The price might have been fair and they had to do it that way because there were different sized ones, but they could've quoted the price instead of breaking it up into 3 different cost units. Yet the quality of service was okay for the price. Their pods were not temperature controlled but it holds quite a bit of furniture and boxes if a temporary storage is needed. They're a good company and we’d recommend them.

    My sister and brother-in-law had recently moved and they used one of the traditional moving firms where they had a horrible experience. I've seen these funny little things called pods and I did some research and I wanted to try it. PODS was an alternative to the traditional moving and storage model and to book, I tried the computer and then I had to go talk to them to make sure I'd done it right. On any scale, I would give their customer service the highest rating. I requested the 16-foot container and I used two of them, but every comment I made back to PODS are centered around the fact that the containers were not big enough. They didn’t get back to me on that but it’s okay because I didn't expect them to.

    I told the drivers where I wanted it to go and they put it exactly where I want them, in all three cases, for both pick-up and delivery. They delivered the empty containers exactly when they said they were, they picked up the full container exactly when they said they would, and they delivered one of the two containers exactly where and when they said. The second container is somewhere in storage, I hope, in Raleigh, North Carolina. My wife and I were very, very pleased with the PODS experience. The only "complaint" is I wish the pods were 24 feet because then I might have gotten away with a smaller Hertz truck and not the U-Haul.

    I rented a PODS storage unit. They did not deliver my pod to my home. We had To rent a U-Haul and unpack and repack the day it was supposed to be delivered. When talking to customer service they said it is ultimately the discretion of the driver and there was nothing they could do, even though I have proof that the pod could have been delivered. So even though the driver is wrong, there is no one that will verify this and there is no way I can get a refund. Costing me $329 for a service that was not provided.

    We were delayed over a week attempting to obtain our container in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Their excuse for our inability to reach anyone via phone or email was that their telecom company lost power during Hurricane Irma. Ok... sounds a bit crazy that there was no way to interact, but I was willing to play along. Our phone experiences were varied. One gentleman was extremely pleasant and helpful. The lady we ended up booking through was gruff and rude, but after waiting so long - we had to get things rolling.

    Both people accessed the same quote and assured us that the total included absolutely everything. No hidden charges after the fact. We specifically inquired about delivery charges - as we had heard those numbers from other companies - and were assured that they were part of the total we had been quoted.     I heard good things about PODS and that was enough for me so I used them when I moved twice. I moved from one home to another where I was temporarily staying, so they actually stored my pod. Then I had a second pod that I got from the temporary housing to my new house. I called them the first time because I had trouble making the internet do what I wanted to do. Their reps were fabulous and very helpful so that was very good. I had the large containers both times and I had the same driver on both occasions. He was excellent and it went really well.

    They picked up my first pod, took it away and stored it for 18 months. I'm in Baton Rouge and we had a big flood last year. I had a pod full of stuff but there was no damage there. Then we had a hard time with the second move because of the rain. It took a couple of retries before we got that pod picked up and delivered. The only frustration was it was raining and I couldn’t get my stuff. They said they'll reschedule me again but to do that I ended up calling the phone number of PODS locally because going to their 800 number or online wasn’t efficient enough. The gratifying thing about that was the girl who runs the office here was absolutely phenomenal and always very kind and courteous. Our transaction was as painless as it possibly could considering the amount of what we had to do and I'm glad I went with PODS.

    I got PODS for moving and storage since we didn't know exactly when the move would occur. It was an economically viable solution for my move. My property was stored for three months and I was satisfied with the experience. I went with PODS after doing research on the different costs for the service. Also, the other transport companies didn't have a storage facility where we initially proposed to move. So, initially, we booked a pods unit online, then we continued with conversations over the phone.

    The website was satisfactory, but a lot of questions were not answered, even when I talked to the customer service reps. For example, PODS had a 16 by 8 by 8 container, but that was not its actual dimensions. I asked for the exact internal dimensions because that was critical with how I would store or put stuff in the container and how much would actually fit in there. But the reps didn't know the internal dimensions and when they finally gave them to me, they were incorrect because the container had ribs inside which took out an additional two inches on each side and actually reduced the amount of carrier space by four inches. Stuff could be put between the ribs, but the way that they calculated the available space in cubic footage was incorrect and misleading.

    There was no bigger size container and, as an engineer, I had laid out and knew in advance all the items that I was going to ship and I had sold what I knew wouldn't fit in the container, and I had all my things pre-arranged based upon the dimensions that they gave me. But then, when the pod showed up, its dimensions weren't what they had given me. So, in the 12 hours before loading the pod, I had to recalculate what would go where. I still was able to get my things all in, with eight cubic feet to spare, but I had to readjust and spend four hours recalculating so that my things would all fit within half an inch of each other. Then I had to fill in the last eight cubic feet of space using empty boxes so that stuff wouldn't move and shift during the move.

    The bottom line is, I wouldn't have had to redo all my plans if they had given me the correct dimensions to begin with. The problem was, PODS didn't let the reps know the usable dimensions so the reps couldn't tell this to the customer. The reps were just guessing and that wasn't good, but they told me the dimensions as if they really knew.

    But the container itself was fine. In addition, all the drivers were very courteous and professional, and our interactions were all very positive. The drivers seemed to know what they were doing and I realized too that PODS doesn't pay those guys a lot of money. But definitely, the people who came represented PODS well. Also, the pricing was good and I was comfortable with the cost. But there was no prorating of the storage and, although I knew about that upfront, I didn't like it and it created an additional problem for me. They gave me a five-day grace period when I moved, but going one day over meant being charged for a full month, maybe for simplicity in billing. But sometimes when people move and purchase a place, they can't determine when the closing date is going to be enforced, and that happened to me. My move date shifted, so I ended up paying a full extra month for just a couple of days.

    I moved into a new house and I had an entire professional woodshop in addition to a home content to move with me. I used PODS because I could choose when I load and unload the pods with different amount of stuff. I booked the first pod online and then I found out that is not going to be near enough pod for me so I booked another two PODS on the phone. Both processes were seamlessly, wonderfully, and beautifully done. All three pods were the largest they had and they were clean and sturdy. They had areas where one's supposed to put the straps on them and nothing was broken. Things shifted a little bit but that’s okay.

    When the drivers came to pick up, everybody was on time. Yet there was one driver who was a little bit snarky and was complaining about the driveway being too narrow and that the tree there should have been cut, but I think he was just having a bad day. The other two drivers were magnificent and amazing, and everything was fine. I then called PODS to pick up the two pods and they picked them up quickly. Everything went smoothly. There's still one pod sitting in my driveway as I have stuff that I haven’t been able to have room for yet, so they'd pick it up when I tell them to.     We had to store some of our furniture prior to being able to move into our new house. Booking online with PODS was fine but if I ever wanted to go look at it or edit it, it did not seem that easy. Instead of being able to go in and edit an existing booking, I had to actually create a new one. It was very confusing. It was also hard to verify the schedule so I had to call a couple of times. But once I got the confirmation from them, I felt better.

    We rented the 16-foot pod and I liked the fact that it had a lot of tines where you could tie cords and bungee cords on the inside because that really helped out.     When I called around, I heard PODS was the best moving and storage company and so far, the experience has been good. I did my first booking online and the website was very easy to use. It was the same with the second one which was by phone. My mother used it because of the experience I was having. When she moved, I ordered one for her and the whole process was perfect. I got 16-foot containers and it was enough for us since we sold a lot of our bulky stuff. When we received my mom’s pod, we didn’t see anything damaged. The driver called about 30 minutes before letting us know they were coming and that they were picking it up. They asked us where we wanted to put it that is convenient for us.

    I moved out of state so they still have my pod in Florida. I’m going to transport it down to North Carolina as soon as I buy a home here but it could be a little bit bigger. I called about a month ago trying to find out quotes to be able to ship the container down to North Carolina and they gave me all the information I needed.     I rented two 16ft POD containers for a period of a month. They were both delivered dirty inside and one of the locks was broken. I left detailed instructions on their website and at my residence and with the driver where to place them which did not happen. They decided to place both pods smack dab in the middle of the driveway. We were not able to park our cars in the driveway and there is no on street parking so we had to have them come back out to move them 6 feet further into the driveway and they charged us a repositioning fee of $134 x 2 ( $269) for this and did not tell us upfront that there was a fee for this, and after several phones calls and getting the runaround from this awful company we are stuck paying for this service that should have not happened in the first place.

    PODS could ship and I did not like renting U-Haul where I get charged by the day. So I booked with PODS online, called in and the process was easy. The rep and I discussed scheduling time and I got their biggest pod delivered to me for moving. The driver was very nice and the container was clean. I had it brought in a couple of weeks before the move so we could slowly load stuff in, instead of rushing one day. We put a shelf in the container but I wasn't ready to put that in yet. The shelf was only three hours in the container but it was so hot when we grabbed it. The container has an acrylic top and it made the inside of the container very hot so we could not put anything in. It sat in the driveway for about two, three weeks and we had to buy a tarp to cover the top to cool it down.     My roommates said that we should try out PODS because we’re moving and don’t have any place to put our stuff. Plus, we don’t want to charge a storage unit for a month. It’s going to be there for only a few days, so we decided to make that decision. We did most of the stuff online. I ended up doing all of the work for getting the POD there. The final destination and other stuff like that I did via the phone. Online is a bit clunky sometimes because I was trying to get a large POD but then when I refreshed the page, it said, “I’m sorry, your order cannot be processed.” Then there’s this “Only 1 PODS left” message. I had to go back and do it again.

    Also, there are things that we messed up on. We had a whole bunch of things shifted around and bump up against the door so it made it really hard to open the first time. Eventually, we had three people on the door to pick it up because we didn’t realize that our bookshelf has fallen. But for the most part, PODS was a great choice. It was amazing to deal with these people. They were cool. There’s a lot of miscommunication with the distances that created unneeded stress, though. But, overall, they were very fast, reliable and they are always willing to work with us even if we didn't make the right plan dates.

    I was moving from Maryland to Florida, and had to book with PODS over the phone because of the distance. I had a very good experience because though I had to change pods twice, they were very accommodating. On the day that the packers were coming, we opened the pod and it had water in it. But, they immediately picked that one up and called another one. Then I had more stuff that could fit in one pod, and they got another one there quickly. So, it was a great experience. They also gave me a little bit of discount, which I didn’t expect because they turned it around very quickly. But, it was appreciated.

    The packers worked very hard, but they didn’t do a top-notch job of getting everything tucked. Plus, we had a hurricane down here. So, when the pod was opened, everything had shifted. It was hard to get the doors opened and there was a little bit of damage on some of the furniture. But then, it has nothing to do with the pods, but with the packers. Overall, PODS was a great way of moving all my stuff with such a long distance without being totally overwhelmed by the cost. They picked up and delivered on time, and it was cheaper than hiring the big van. I'm quite pleased, and would definitely recommend them to a friend.

    I like that PODS is the middle ground between the cost for using a full mover versus getting a truck. I started booking online but had to talk to someone over the phone. It was a good start, but it didn't have everything I needed. There wasn't a lot of information you could use to get everything done and they pretty much required you to call. It needs a few more components so one could understand what could be done. It also needs someone to check schedules. But the customer service was excellent and they were easy to get a hold of.

    I got the biggest container available and it was clean, but I still couldn't get all my stuff in it and I ended up using other means to move what didn't fit in the pod. I've used PODS twice now and each time, I wished there were more ways to secure or tie stuff down and more hooks or tie downs throughout the container as they were sparse. I was pretty good about packing and securing and wrapping all the stuff. However, I had one thing that got damaged during the move.

    There were at least four drivers and they ware all good and very professional. The guy who helped me when I moved in Fresno was terrific, friendly, and helpful. My only issue is with my driveway not being long enough. I measured it and it met the specs, but the driver said it wasn't long enough to do everything they needed to do. So the requirements were slightly off. Also, the system that tells me the estimated arrival time for the driver was only right once. I set an estimated time and one time they were way early and the other two times they were way late, so I had no confidence in what the system said. But in the end, PODS worked as I had hoped.

    I needed to pack stuff and store it for about a month and then move it three hours away. When we did the quote with PODS a gentleman called us and talked about our options. He made suggestions based on how many rooms I had. They also walked me through every step of loading, unloading, packing and relocation. We also had some follow up confirming their service.

    I got the 16 x 8 container and it was sturdy and worked really well. I was nervous about leakage on it because it had a plastic topper on top of it but it did really well. It also had the little hook so you could tie things down if you wanted to. The gentleman who dropped the pod off in Jacksonville was good. He was very thorough. The moving of the container went really smooth and the experience has been very convenient because PODS brought the thing to me and I didn't have to move stuff.

    PODS advertising leads you to believe that they deliver their container to your desired location for loading. Then deliver it to your desired location for unloading. This is true only for certain locations. If not - "Oh sorry, you're screwed. Thank you for using PODS." They have big trucks which can deliver these containers anywhere but they refuse unless your locations are within certain zip codes. This is after paying more than $500/mo. to keep 2 containers. Then over $1000 each to deliver each, not to our location but to where we are supposed to hire another mover to unload their container, load into another truck for delivery to our location. This is a recipe for damage to our furniture. Never in their advertising do they suggest that you'll be screwed like this.

    I tried to pay my bill today and had this experience. The website will not accept a new payment method, so I had to call the toll free number. It was a nightmare to navigate the system to get a live operator (certainly, there is no option to press "0”). Once I got through, the operator tried to take my credit card and told me there was a problem with the IT system and it would not accept any type of payment. When I asked to be called back by someone once the problem is fixed, they told me they are an "inbound only" company. THEY DO NOT EVER CALL CUSTOMERS - even when they screw up. Unbelievable. There is no customer service here. Just people who answer your calls (eventually) and tell you to call back when their IT department. And yes, the IT department does not work on Sundays. Ever. Never ever again will I use this company. Life is too short for this much frustration from a vendor whom I am trying to pay.

I had a time opening earlier than the original and they worked me in and accommodated me in every way.

    I requested three 16-foot containers. I needed a fourth 16-foot but we had a yard sale, so we tried to consolidate a little stuff. The pods were good but obviously, some shifting went on.     I'm going to start with the negatives so people can see them first, because this is a long story. At this moment, PODS is in possession of our belongings 2,000 miles away despite the fact that it was to be delivered to our new home yesterday. We equate this to theft because despite numerous checks on our part, the company lied about our items being transported, they could not track them down for a period of time, they cannot tell us when they will arrive, and we have already paid for all of their services. We have called and called, and the response when asking to speak to management or a supervisor is that the person on the phone will "email" them. It's a mystery who these upper-management people are or how we can contact them, which is super shady.

    Furthermore, we are without furniture and though we did all of the correct planning and verification on our end, PODS still failed us and they are failing to accept responsibility or to help. We expect to be contacted ASAP. PODS should do the right thing and refund the money pertaining to the POD that now needs to be shipped cross-country. Frankly, they should also pay for the movers that we now have to re-hire since they were unable to unload the POD today.

    Here is the whole story: When moving from Colorado Springs, CO to Southborough, MA, we researched various moving options and decided to use PODS. On the Colorado Springs end, things went fine. We spoke to customer service reps on the phone, and our containers were delivered to our Colorado home and picked up from our driveway on time. We moved in two waves; the first container was filled and sent in April 2017 and the second two containers were filled and sent (we thought) in July 2017.

    We were easily able to access the POD that was in Massachusetts as of April 2017 when we needed items from it. We went to the storage facility in Wilmington, MA after having given the requested 24-hour notice. The employees were polite and helpful and again, there were no issues. However, things began to go south when we inquired where the second and third PODS were in August. PODS discovered that neither had been sent from Colorado, so we requested (and paid the shipping fee) that they be sent to Massachusetts as soon as possible as we were in the process of purchasing a home. We were assured on multiple occasions via the 800 number and our PODS portal on their website that the items had arrived in MA.

    Two weeks before closing on our new house, we scheduled the POD delivery. Yesterday was our closing date. We never received a delivery window the night before, and after calling the 800 number several times and being assured every time that we would receive a callback but never getting one, PODS sent two containers to our new house. We placed the first phone call at 8am and the PODS arrived after our last phone call at 4:30pm. The customer service reps were not able to give us information on where the 3rd POD was or when it might arrive, but they said they would call us in the morning (do you see where this is going?).

    This morning, we called our local PODS office in Wilmington directly every hour. Every hour we were told they didn't know where the POD was and that they'd call us back. Every hour we called them back because no one reached out to us. The territory manager, Alberto, was unprofessional in dealing with my husband, referring to him as "buddy" at one point ("look buddy, we don't know where it is"). Then he finally admits that the POD is still in Colorado. There were literally movers at our house to unload, and the missing POD contained all of our furniture with the exception of beds. At 12:30pm, Alberto was told to ask the customer resolution department to contact us immediately. We never received a call.

    As people who work in service industries, we are blown away by the lack of care, concern or information provided by PODS. We will never use this company again and we will advise everyone we know against using them. It is unacceptable that our belongings did not arrive especially with multiple queries over the last month to ensure that we would have them today. Disappointed is an understatement. PODS - I see that you've responded to other customers asking for a private message. We will gladly message with you but you need to provide instructions as to exactly how we can do that. Your 800 number representatives have no idea how to contact the right people; if you're the right people, then you need to tell us how to contact you directly. Thanks.

    I love PODS, they're excellent. We needed to package stuff up and store them until our son who's in college decided where he was going. I knew the PODS name and I started looking into other companies as well. But I decided that PODS had the experience and I felt most comfortable with them. Booking the pod was easy and I was on phone with their rep for an hour and a half because I was gossiping with him when I called. In theory, our son was going to be in a one-bedroom apartment so we got a small pod. We checked it out when we got it and it was clean. And we packed it from top to bottom, side to side and front to back. It was perfect and nothing moved.

    Their guys also always called us and let us know when they were coming and when they were on their way. Both of the PODS drivers were superb too. They were very polite and informative. In fact, the day that they came and picked up the full POD, we weren't there but everything was great. We were very happy and I love the whole process. I want one of those podzillas in my house too. Whoever invented it has to be the most brilliant person in the world. It looks like it's riding on a flatbed truck and they push a button and this thing comes over and it grabs the pod and then it picks it up and moves it over. Then the other thing slides in and it clicks the pod gently down and unhooks it. It was an all around excellent experience.

    Our son kept his belongings with PODS from the beginning of March until the end of July. The problem was he was graduating and had no idea when and if he was going to get a job right away. His dad and I live in an RV, but we also just bought a little house. Our son been with us and helping us and I was going to leave his stuff with PODS but I said, “You know what, this is crazy. Let's get your stuff.” Also, our son was in a two-bedroom apartment at school and there is not a really huge chance that he was going to end up with that much space when he has an apartment he's paying for himself. It's good that we got his stuff because now he can sort through them and I can take back some of my old stuff that I gave him because we were in the RV.

    We had a storage unit delivered to our home. We packed all our belongings and called for pick up. So far so good. Three months later our new home is finished and ready for us to move in. We called to schedule delivery only to be told that they do not deliver to our new zip code. After a lot of run around on the phone I asked to talk to a supervisor. Kathy from Florida says she is very sorry but she can do nothing to help. I asked for a phone number so I can contact the storage facility that is holding everything I own hostage but she says she is not allowed to give that to me. The only option is for me to rent a moving truck, drive the 50 miles to the storage facility and pick up my belongings myself.     In June, I left California and did a cross-country move using PODS. I got the 8x8x16 container and I chose the right size. It was perfect. It was clean, sturdy and showed no sign of water damage or any kind of damage to any part of it, any plastic or wood. They lifted and closed smoothly. It was a good unit. The pod was delivered to the place where I was staying temporarily in Santa Rosa, California and I had people pack it up. PODS came the next day, loaded the locked pod, and it headed to Pompano Beach, Florida, and I left the next day. I drove to Phoenix and stayed for five days, and my pod made it to Clearwater the day before I made it, driving across country to Pompano Beach. I was very impressed with that. It beat me across the country.

    I’m older and I don’t trust the young much since mistakes can happen. So, I worked directly with PODS associates, mostly all in Clearwater, Florida when I booked with them. I’ve got four associates and they all knew exactly the same thing. They had no trouble pulling up a record as to what I was doing and where we should be with my order process. The California driver could not have been nicer, he answered all my questions and did a heck of a job putting that pod in the driveway where it had to go. He knew his equipment and handled it with respect. He was there when he said he would be and called ahead, so I was aware he was on his way. He has a good heart and he is a loyal worker.

    It was questionable when pulled into a pod storage facility. I drove by one in Santa Rosa, California and then I drove back to Pompano Beach to the facility there to see where it was and there was no one there to talk to.     When I was moving from Atlanta, I looked at all the companies, especially in case there was a big price difference and PODS was the most flexible. I also chose them because I used them a year and a half before and they were very good. I knew I could count on them. I got a 16-foot container in Atlanta in January and kept it until it was delivered in Virginia in July. I booked it online and over the phone as well to complete some things. When PODS picked it up in January, there was a quarter-inch ice storm which made Atlanta go nuts. At first, the manager told me I wouldn't get anything and that they cancelled my delivery which was terrible. But I said I really needed it and I've got movers scheduled to load it up. The rep called me on Saturday morning which was the day I was supposed to get the container but it had been cancelled. However, he said he can get it out there around 12:30, so that was good.

    Also, I had a new driveway and when they dropped the pod off in Virginia, the guy said it might damage the driveway and make an indentation. I accepted the risk but in the end, there was no indentation. They were careful about not damaging my property and thought almost like the homeowner. Their truck guys have always been great which is another reason why I go with them. I had six to eight different truck guys over the last few years and they were all great. If the face of the company who's meeting me at the site was not good, it's not going to work. But all those guys from PODS were really good. I'd recommend PODS and I'd use them again.

    I saw an advertisement in a military brochure that we would get 10% off of the cost of a pod, so I called PODS. I knew we had a lot of moving around to do and this seemed to be the easiest operation and the most convenient. I told their rep that my husband was a retired military and asked if we could get the discount and she said yes. She quoted me prices and gave me information, but we found out that there were some things that she did not include, like the taxes, and that there was no discount on the part when they picked up the pod. We only got a 10% discount when they delivered the pod. We found these out when we got the bill and that was very deceptive to not tell us that. So, I was a little upset. But except for that little kink, the overall experience was good. The container itself was clean inside and we didn't see any leaks. The guy who dropped it off and picked it up was very nice and efficient, too.

    My story is very long, so I won’t bore you with the details. The short version is, we had two 16’ long containers delivered to our driveway. We had to cancel the order and get them to pick up the empty containers the very next day, because we could not fit our hot tub in either of them. The website and the salesperson said the containers have an external dimension of 8’ in width, allowing for a 7 foot opening to accommodate our 7 ft wide hot tub. One of the containers had an external width of 7 ft 6 inches and the other 7 ft 9 inches. Neither had an opening to accommodate a 7’ hot tub through the opening.

    PODS charged us the $977.41 for the delivery and storage of the two containers anyway. Had I known I was going to have to pay $977.41 for services not rendered, I would not have cancelled and would have found another solution for moving the hot tub, but when I called to cancel the order, the customer service rep gave me the impression that picking up the empty containers was the end of the conversation. PODS is guilty of false advertising and unethical business practices. They prey on people during the most stressful time of their lives, selling a house and moving. Shame on PODS for stealing $977.41 from me and my family!

    1st call - Scheduled POD. Never received email confirmation for delivery but had my bank info and a pending transaction. 2nd call - Called to verify a delivery; scheduled date was not processed. It was never entered then I was asked to verify my credit card information again. Day of delivery was for 9/29 between 12-3 PM. Received a call around 2 pm day of that POD could not be delivered until 10/3 because of an issue at the local office. So we cancelled due to having to move out that weekend. We were told a refund would be processed and to wait 2-3 business days. Day 3 rolls around and no refund. 3rd call - Inform about refund; no refund has been processed and was not pending. I asked to speak to a supervisor and ironically one was not available. Rep assures me refund is now in progress but it will be another 2-5 business days.

    I asked how I can get refund expedited and she told me she need my bank fax number and transfers me to another department so I can give my complaint. TRANSFERRED and guess what? The next rep. has no idea what is going on and has no idea about the process of expediting a refund with a bank fax number. So I give my whole spiel again and she gives multiple excuses as to why my refund may or may have not been processed but explains that she thinks refund will be there by the 5th day. So we'll see what Friday brings. Either way they will never have my business again. Needless to say verify all orders are being processed. Better yet don't use this company. They lack communication skills and no one wants to take any responsibility for their mistakes.

They went out of their way to service us. However, the company that we used on the loading were super expensive. It was one of the companies that PODS recommended and they did a good job but they were extremely overpriced. So I went out on my own and found some local guys to do it and I must have saved myself $1,000. And those guys did a pretty good job, too. I booked a middle-sized 12-footer container online, but I knew I had to speak with them several times for the changes I was going through.     Price and convenience are reasons we chose PODS. We went online but ended up calling them because we wanted more clarification on dimension. When they provided it, we ordered the largest one, the 16-foot pod. We were surprised that it was actually brand-new and it was very nice. I actually saw the first driver down the street. He was picking up the pod from a house three houses away and he brought it right down to ours.

    The guy that picked it up was helpful, and had no problem. When he dropped it off, he put some little boost on the back with bricks that we had in the yard. We have a slanted driveway at the new house so it would be level for us. Also, the drivers showed up on time and they always called before they got here. We recommended for somebody to use them.

    I had seen and known the name PODS and it's been synonymous with sales storage techniques. It came right up when looked for them online. We had a total of five pods spread over a seven month period. We've had four 7-footer and one 16-footer container. I booked five pods online and had telephone conversations with them to follow up on other reasons and issues which were mostly with respect to scheduling. They solved problems that I couldn't sort out on the computer. It was an updating issue as there was a delay in the computer system. You really don't know that you've got it until they confirm five minutes later. So it's hard to use and there's also some kind of an interlock when you're scheduling.

    There's a lot of dates that you'd like to use that are blacked out. But if you call and talk with them, you can get those dates. The reps can go online, can see the computer, make the changes and confirm them verbally. That’s happened on three different occasions as we've had to reschedule because the new house is under construction and we could get into it on the dates that I had first assumed.

    We had very little interaction with the driver other than the first day. I wanted to make sure that the pods were in the right place. All the subsequent days, we knew when they were coming because we had to schedule announcement. They've been very good about following the instructions putting the door to door faces -- the container face, door face, against the garage door face -- so that's worked out fine. They also always provided all the material that we've asked for like the locks. They brought those out and gave them to us. They're very good, courteous, and disciplined. They knew what they're doing and it was very straightforward. We're very satisfied with what we've done.

    We're unloading one pod today and we're going to unload two more over the next three or four weeks and that will be the end of it. And we're in the new house and so we've been bringing them in one or every other week and just redistributing the materials back in the new house from the pods. It's worked out and it's fault-free except for this once in a while little issue about trying to get confirmation out of the computer that I’ve done to reschedule. But the phone people have always been there and they've been always very effective in getting it fixed. It was also kind of fascinating the way the conveyor system works. I'm an engineer so I was fascinated with how that's done. I am now more conscious of PODS than I was before.

    We have used PODS at my work before, and they were very generous. It was a nonprofit. So, I had a positive impression of them. I got them to store my furniture while I was doing a remodeling, so I won't have all of them in the house, and I'm glad I did it. They should advertise more for remodeling as opposed to just moving.

    I booked the pod over the phone and all my interactions with their reps were pleasant. They came, picked up my furniture and stored them for six months. Then they brought them back, and I was done. The container was clean and the right size. The truck driver who brought it the first time was really nice and helpful. He had a lock I could buy from him right there, which was very handy because it hadn't occurred to me that I needed a lock. The guy who picked it up was also really helpful. They both came on really hot days but they were professional, on time and called in advance. The one time we parked the pod on the street and the other time, we put it on my driveway. They knew what they were doing. I would use PODS again.

    PODS had a big name and when I called around they had the best pricing so I booked with them. I talked to a rep and she was very knowledgeable. She knew what she was doing and set it up quickly and easily. We had the 12-foot pod and it was sturdy, clean inside and it has a solid floor. The driver was great and very helpful as well. When I needed to know the date that they could pick it up we were able to arrange all that and CS took care of that one. They were very good and I would use them again.

    We had our house for sale and I booked the 16-foot PODS container over the phone. The representative was great. We had the container brought in and the drivers were very professional. We have a curvy driveway so they really worked protecting the grass and they did a great job. The pod was really clean too. We filled it and sent it off. We were hoping we could use PODS for moving but we ended up getting storage ‘cause we had to bring my daughter's stuff back to the house so we could unload for her. She moved and part of her stuff was in there with ours. I tried to do that online but it kept kicking stuff back. It wasn’t really user-friendly so I wasn’t real thrilled with it. I ended up having to call customer service and she walked me through the process to make sure that I got the pod delivered back to the house. Afterwards, we stored what we needed to store back in the garage again. We were very happy with PODS.

    Back in July, I needed PODS so that I had a pod to move some of my things. PODS was convenient, and it was smooth and easy to book their services online.     I used PODS for moving and storage. I like their reputation and them having satisfied customers. It was fairly easy to book online. For the first experience it was easy to get them to set the pods where I wanted and the site showed you exactly how to do that. In one situation I had to make a change and needed to confirm the date but it wouldn't show me the change in real time. I called and the rep told me that I needed to log out and get back in. It was very simple and the customer service was very helpful and very cordial.

    I got three biggest pods which I kept at my old residence until I close and then they moved into my new residence. The drivers explained everything and asked me where I wanted it and how I wanted it to face. They also showed me how to operate it and reminded me to get a lock to make it secure. They opened them up to show me that they were clean but one of the older ones was a little hard to open. I liked the ones that you raise the door overhead instead of opening but the challenge with that one though is when you stack them too high.

    My mover knew how to pack the pods because they were packed and I had to rung it a little bit with getting that overhead up because if you get those two tied up at the top then there's no room for the overhead to open. But the people that dropped them off were very helpful and cordial in showing me everything. And when they shorted me a couple of blankets the guy dropped them off on the next one. They jumped on every request that I had.

    The customer service called me afterwards. He made sure everything went well and they got them picked up timely and then I was completely satisfied with the services that they had provided. It was just simple and I certainly would recommend them. The experience with the drivers is probably the most critical because they're the ones that are face-to-face with the customer and the guys that were dropping off were exceptional. They were not matter of fact like here’s my job and I'm dropping it off. But they were conversational and very pleasant. They made you feel special as opposed to, “Hey, you're lucky we're doing this for you.” PODS is a good bang for your buck.

    I liked the idea that PODS drops the container off and you could fill it up on your own time then call them and they'll come grab it. I got the 7-foot container and my wife was a little concerned that there wasn't going to be enough room but you can squeeze a lot of stuff into it. It was clean and sturdy too. Plus, it was easy to open and close the door. I was a little worried about some of the fragile stuff because when they came to pick it up, it swings a little bit. But, I was happy that when it was delivered it didn't seem like anything shifted at all.

    Also, their driver was very friendly and he explained what he's going to do. I'm in Waikiki on a very busy street and he was able to pick up the container quickly and not interfere with traffic. I was very impressed. The only thing you may need to worry about is, we moved in the summer so it was really hot inside the POD. That was one thing that people should be concerned about but everything about PODS was customer-friendly. They sent an email and called me right away to confirm. They were super convenient and organized too. I've moved a lot being in the military and I've used a lot of different moving companies. I would definitely use PODS again for both moving and storage. I would recommend them.

    I liked the convenience and the ease of not having to drive a truck from Houston to Chicago. I booked with PODS and their rep got me all set up, and we were ready to go. We had four different drivers, and they were all great ambassadors for PODS. They're the face of PODS - the actual people you interact with. And all four, you could tell they love their job. They love how cool it was to operate the machinery to take it off the truck, put it on the ground, and vice versa. I highly recommend PODS to anybody. The ease of not having to load a truck yourself or drive it somewhere is worth the price.

    PODS was a personal recommendation of a friend. I initially booked online but I eventually spoke to someone on the phone as well 'cause our situation changed. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful and it was a good experience overall. The team showed up at the house, asked me where I wanted the pod put and put it right where we needed it. And then, when they moved it, they showed up at the new place and asked us where we wanted it, put it there, dropped it and took off. They arrived within their scheduled windows and everything was delivered on time and as expected.
