Our POD was never delivered despite receiving a confirmation the day before with our delivery window. 15 min after our arrival window ended, we called the company only to be told that because 3 drivers called out they would have to postpone the delivery of our POD by 4 days. We never received a call or email to inform us that our POD could not be delivered as scheduled. We only learned of this delay when we called them after waiting for 3 hours for them to show. We had movers scheduled the next morning to help us load the POD as well as movers scheduled and a permit on the other end. Despite talking to supervisors, managers, etc. they said there was nothing that they could do and the earliest they could drop off the container was 4 days later. We were closing on our house and delaying the move by 4 days was not an option.

Do not use this service. They made a mess to our family. The customer service is not accurate and they don't accommodate the needs to have our stuff back and delivered when we need it. When they delivered the container the door was stuck. We were paying hourly to a company to send two workers to do the unloading. We had to send them back. We spoke with a reckless customer service representative that was covering PODS by saying that they are not responsible for items that aren't secured.

Pod cost me $3300 to move from CT to Florida. Delivered 8 hrs late. No calls. No explanation. They want to give me $50. Told them to keep it and spend it on customer service. Rent a truck... 1200. Would have been cheaper and quicker. 1st window for delivery was 8 am, second window was 11 am... each with a 3 hr window... NO calls from them. I called at 2 pm they said I'd get a call any minute. 5pm... JUST NOT VERY RELIABLE AND VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I called to schedule an order for PODS on specific dates to correspond with an upcoming move. I will note that the POD arrived at my old home on the day, and within the three-hour window of the scheduled appointment. Driver was very nice and they dropped the POD off perfectly. Two days later (as planned and per appointment) they picked up the POD. All things perfect at this point. Now comes the pain...

Let's see. Where do I begin with this horrible experience. I guess I'll start from the beginning. I had scheduled with PODS to move 65 miles away which is not considered long distance. Anything over 80 miles is. They dropped off my pod without calling me two hours ahead like they told me they would. I gave them Specific Instructions on where to drop it off and they dropped it off at the complete wrong spot. I had to call them back and stay on hold for 45 minutes to have somebody come back and pick it up and move it a week later.

The expense and stress of moving cross country can be a nightmare but PODS was the best solution and we had such a great experience with them. I will always move with PODS now. It's so easy & you don't have to worry about driving a giant truck and towing a car. Excellent company, & excellent customer service! Highly recommend!

Our pod was late being delivered. No problem. Now we’ve packed it and had a pickup time set. It didn’t get picked up on the day they said. It still isn’t picked up. I called customer service and they had no clue what happened. Now it’s the 4th of July, with our stuff sitting on someone else’s property, and there has been no communication other than me reaching out to talk to them. I would not recommend them as a company. They are not keeping their word and not communicating. And no desire to make it right apparently.

Do not use this company. I had a reservation made on June 18th, it was confirmed via email. 2 days before the scheduled delivery, PODS send another email, confirming the delivery day of June 28, anytime after 7 am. *Day of * - Thursday, June 28, I call the Customer Service line, they confirm, should be there between 12-3 pm, 330 pm, NO POD delivery. I'm going to skip the other calls to the driver and customer service line that we made from 11 am, since clearly they were not able to stand up to their reservation and agreement.

Like other reviewers, I chose PODS because I thought they had a better reputation to protect. HA! I'm moving cross-country, so it's ridiculously difficult to get all the pieces to line up. My pod was supposed to arrive today, which I DESPERATELY need -- I have movers scheduled to unload it -- but they can't tell me whether it will arrive today (or ever?) or where it is or whether it ever actually arrived in my new home state. They tell me no one is picking up the phone in the local storage office, so they'll "send an email." (Yeah, I'm sure they'll jump right on the email!) I asked why they have so little information, and they explained that the local office is "locally owned." Great. Maybe the guy decided to take a little vacay, while I'm left holding the bag. (Which is all I'm holding, as all my stuff is in the pod in an unknown location.) This is exactly what I was hoping to avoid with movers, and why I chose PODS. HA!

I picked the more expensive PODS over U-Pack and other competitors because I believed they had a better reputation. The location of my pod said my original state for weeks before the delivery date. When I called the customer service rep to verify that it is in the correct city and would be delivered tomorrow, she said yes. Literally TWO MINUTES later I get a call from a different rep that said the exact opposite.

I scheduled a pod delivery to our townhouse for storage for an upcoming project. I got the confirmation time and was told no one needed to be there. The phone call from the driver said he was on the way and would call if there was any problem. I didn’t receive a call so I thought I was in the clear. The container was not placed in one parking space like it was supposed to be but in both of our only parking spaces. We are already paying for storage of a car for this project so we now have no place to park. Customer service said they couldn’t move it until Monday. I asked what I was supposed to do until then and why didn’t the driver call me when he couldn’t place the container where it was contracted to go.

If you don't want to read the whole story at least read the bullets below. -Terrible customer service. -On hold for hours. -Clueless employees. Stay far away from PODS! Why, you ask? Read my experience below! The Story: PODS definitely had the market on this product. We here without a house for 3 weeks due to the closing dates not lining up. We figured PODS would be the best bet since the price is reasonable and you only load everything into the POD once. They deliver it to where you need, and simply unload it. Easy, right? Wrong!

I've rented a Pod for the last 14 months and thought it was the best thing ever until about 15 minutes ago. I need to have it moved to my new home about 45 miles away and I was told that they are so sorry, but they don't service my destination zip code. Seriously? Why do they advertise cross country moving convenience if they don't even move them across a county? The customer service rep told me that I have to remove my belongings from the unit and find another way to move them. I can then pay them $100 to remove my empty container.

PODS started out great, the employee that helped me schedule my pod was kind and informative, unfortunately she was a liar. The employee explained the process as follows: Have the pod delivered at your address (pay for delivery). You are charged a monthly fee. Schedule and pay for pickup, 24-48 hours needed. Pod will be stored at a delivery center for 24 hours. Pod will be delivered at house before final return. I assumed I would need to give at least 5 days notice based on the above transaction.

Tried to get information regarding pricing for a move. Was quoted 3 different prices by 3 different representatives. Was then sent a total of 4 emails confirming my "reservation." When I called to confirm, I was told "Oh, they should have told you we have nothing available for the next month" despite my having confirmed the date with them 3 times. Even after that, I am STILL getting emails.

PODS was exactly what I needed, since I didn't have an exact move in date yet. It took a few family members to help with furniture but as things were carefully piled up and up, it was a tad precarious trying to get things organized at the top. The move went smoothly, the men who move these pods are well trained and the guys I had were courteous and careful. The pods are "easy to break into because the metal isn't super strong and I recall mine had a hole in it. I don't plan on moving again, but I would do a pod again. It just makes things easier.

Nightmare experience with PODS. I contacted them for my elderly aunt to get her moved from Denver to Ft Collins. I didn't have an exact address but was told they would just fill that in when we were ready to move. The next month I called with the new address and they said they didn't deliver. I had everything lined up and had to cancel, and incur about $1000 in extra charges setting up a new company to go unload the pod and move the items. When I submitted a complaint I was sent an email saying she would follow up with a resolution. I never heard back and they just charged me again!

I called PODS a month before our move from Idaho to Nevada. It seemed like a great solution because we would have a couple of weeks to load our belongings & then have about a week to unload. We closed on our new home a day early & I called PODS to try to reschedule our delivery date. They could not advance the date, and told me it would be delivered as scheduled. The very next day I was informed it would be delivered up to six days later! When I called Customer Care, I was told nothing could be done, it was “logistics.”

I know people who have used PODS and I know someone that works for them as well. I called PODS and they were available. I got a 16 feet container and it was perfect, clean and in good shape. Two people came. There was a guy who was actually training another guy, and he was really good. Kinda had got them into a tight spot but he was polite and did exactly what I asked him to do with no gripes and no problems. I kept the pod and moved it to a new location for a week and then unloaded it. From start to finish, PODS was good. I had to change up a few things midstream and that was not a problem either. They showed up when they said they were going to, did exactly what they were gonna do and I'm a 100% satisfied with what they did.

We were moving stuff out of the house and were on a time schedule. We got a container from UNITS and they stored the furniture in the new house that we bought that we would be re-using. I also researched PODS online, called them, and got a representative. I could set my account up online but they walked me through how to do that and that was good. I booked two 12 foot pods and had them stored in their climate controlled facility.

I was redoing my garage and I needed a container to put everything in there and then move everything back. Nobody offered anything I could find that's big enough for that except for PODS. Also considering their price, I went with them. I called their main office and requested for an 8 by 12 container. The driver who dropped it off was very cooperative. He put the container exactly where I wanted it to be. It was very clean and looked fairly new. I filled it up and it was the right size. The fellow who picked it up was very friendly as well. I'd highly recommend PODS.

PODS did storage and moving for us. We liked their price and we had confidence in in them in the handling of our goods. I booked with them over the phone and it was straightforward. Sometimes the communication was a little difficult. I had to ask a number of times questions to get everything squared away and make sure I understood. Nevertheless, I was able to get the information I needed. I got two 16-foot containers and they were well swept out. The drivers were very professional and courteous, and they knew what they were doing. PODS is a great value and we were confident and were pleased with the way that the whole process was handled. We'd use them again and others ought to use them.

I booked the biggest container from PODS over the phone and scheduled the pick-up date and the rep I talked to was very nice and helpful. When the drivers came, they called. They were very prompt so I had no problems with them at all. The container was spacious, dry, and was fine.

We saw other people using PODS and so we had a pod delivered to us which we utilized to store our furniture and things until we moved to a new house. We initially did the booking over the phone once and then booked the delivery online. I had a very pleasant interaction with the person on the phone. They were informative and they provided me with information I needed as well as helped us through the process very easily. The online process was very user-friendly too. We got a size 8x12 pod and we squeezed things in. I had more stuff that I didn't take so I would've needed a bigger one had I taken everything. The pod fit fine and it was solid, in good shape, and without water damage. Plus, both the drivers who picked it up and dropped it off did a great job. Using PODS has been easy, efficient, and purposeful.

I got a quote online from PODS for my moving and storage needs and then called them to figure out what my options were. Their rep was super nice and told me what they were. However, the guy who called me back after a couple of days to see where I was at with my decision was pushy. He was almost lying to me too because the lady told me in the beginning that my quote was good for many days, but he told me I should do it that time or I'm gonna lose my price. He was trying to sell me too hard and it just didn't feel good. I didn’t wanna deal with that person, so I called back and got another lady who was great.

We were doing a home renovation and had to move all our furniture out into the container that we got from PODS. It was really neat to have it delivered to the house, put our stuff in there, and get anything out we needed. Also, I didn't have to drive and I had a crate to get something. We booked it online which was pretty easy to do. I also called them when we got ready to be done and everything was well taken care of. They even called and gave us the time when the pod was gonna be delivered and when it was gonna be picked up.

PODS customer service David was able to resolve the issue the next day and have the POD picked up in 4 days and therefore avoiding any additional charges and was excellent... very professional and did take the time to contact me and let me know that issue has been resolved and all would be fine.

One of our friends had used PODS' service in Pittsburgh and we were impressed with the way they did the move for him. So, when we moved from Pennsylvania to Las Vegas and needed moving service, we booked a pods unit with PODS over the phone and that was completely painless. We got the biggest container they have and for our move and it was very good and just the size that we needed. All the people at PODS that helped us, the driver that delivered the container, and the driver that picked it up were so nice. One time, the delivery was not so clear and we spoke with a rep, and it was arranged so quickly. We returned the pod unit a bit sooner because we were able to empty it a bit earlier, and the driver came right away to pick it up. We were out at the time, but the driver told us that we didn't have to be home and he'd pick it up, and everything went so smoothly. From beginning to end, the service of PODS was excellent.

Whenever I contact them, I look for their pod pick-up and delivery rental services. I had a very good experience when I booked them online. PODS’ customer service has always been very, very good and their drivers and I had an excellent interaction. The container I got was the 16-foot and it was the correct size for my needs. Its shape was perfectly great. I'm a fourth-time customer and a very pleased one. PODS has extreme reliability and the level of information is wonderful. They do what they say the way that they're supposed to do it. And you don't have to second guess them at all.

I use PODS for the condo I lived in for some storage for a while. My property’s being renovated and PODS was security locked and everything was clean. I thought to go with them again when I move. I needed PODS for moving and storing and setting up the service with them was very easy. I got the middle-sized container, the one for two to three bedrooms. The pod was clean when it arrived. The delivery driver was very kind and very considerate and put it where I needed it. I lost a TV in the move but it’s just there around in the pod. I recommend PODS to all of my friends and my family if they ever need to move.

We moved across country and the empty pods will still be sitting in our driveway 2 weeks later. My handicapped Mother is having to be shuttled from the street up a long driveway 150 feet to the house. They said that the person handling our area was out of the country and didn't leave anyone in charge of the business while they were gone. To add insult to injury, because of the delay in picking up the 2 pods they now want to charge us another month of storage. Their business practice is despicable and we should not have to suffer because of the unprofessional behavior of the people they choose to service their units.

I had to move so fast and called this one company. But it was very expensive for them to move and store my stuff. And I wasn’t going to store it. Then I had gotten into a jam. I had to tell my cousin to find PODS online and she said to go with them. And so I did. I was happy with the person I talked to. He was just very accommodating, friendly and professional. Plus, the people who moved the pod were great. I had to change and move some stuff around and they were willing to do whatever I needed. They were very friendly and polite too. The container I had gotten worked perfectly with what I needed it for. I had a lot of furniture from my old house that wouldn't fit in my new house and I had to have somewhere to put it. I'd tell others to definitely use PODS.

PODS's pricing was cheaper than that of the other companies and their reps were very helpful too. My experience with them was excellent. I booked the pods over the phone and requested for two big containers and one small one. The condition of the pods was very good when they arrived. The drivers were very helpful, very nice and on time as well.

The reviews of PODS I saw online made me end up with them. I also like that the structures were very solid so if they were traveling in an inclement weather, they would hold up. I called PODS and booked a container. The reps were helpful and we were able to place the order easily and it went smoothly. I had picked the size of the container and they confirmed that what I picked was adequate. And it was big for my needs. The drivers were wonderful, helpful and very nice as well. They showed up on time and I got calls ahead of time letting me know when they were in the vicinity. PODS did a great job. If I moved again, I would definitely utilize their services. It was a big relief. I've recommended PODS to others.

Because of the dynamic of my move where I needed to get out of one house before the next house was ready, I decided to go with PODS for moving and storage. I booked their service online and requested for a 16-foot container. It came in clean and in good shape. Everything was fine with the driver as well. He was on time and he placed the container where I wanted and even gave his input to what he thought was the best place on the location of the driveway to the house. Then, I had to call PODS because I ordered a lock and it wasn't the lock that I thought I was getting. The driver took it back with him and the credit department reversed the charge on my card.

I had a good experience using PODS for their moving service. I needed my things stored before I get it back. I booked a 16-foot container online and it was in a clean and in good condition when I received it. Also, their rep called to tell me when it was gonna come.

I needed PODS for moving and storing. PODS was a secure and a good decision. I booked them over the phone and the first time I spoke with the reps, it was okay. But the other times that I spoke with them, they seemed confused about the billing part of it. My mother was double billed but it was resolved with a return to my mother’s account. They were able to make everything right, however, they didn't reimburse the overdraft fees, which was $100.

We were doing a home remodel and the pod stayed in our driveway for the entire time. This was my first interaction with PODS so I have started the process online then I still had some questions so I called and they completed my reservation over the phone. The person I spoke to was very helpful and very kind. We got the 16-foot pod and it could have been bigger but we got what we could for the money. There were a couple of things that we looked at and the price per foot, PODS was the cheapest. We could have gotten two for the price that we were gonna get on other ones but we just used the garage in addition to the pod. We moved stuff out of our house while they did the remodel and then moved stuff back in. The pod was in excellent shape. It was used but it was clean. Also, it rained during the time that it was in the driveway and there were no leaks.

I shopped for other companies and PODS is more competitive. They had the best pricing and I priced out their competitor 1-800-PACK-RAT. I used PODS for moving, both transportation and storage. I called to place the order and everything was fine. They did everywhere else except they didn’t meet my expectations on the scheduling for delivery on the other end. But the drivers that picked up the 16-foot container were all fine and I'm satisfied with the service.

I used PODS for pick-up, delivery and storage services. I didn't feel like driving a truck this time around and my only other option was to use them. I called them and booked the 16-foot container. The container was sturdy, clean and bright and its size was decent. And it was convenient for me with the container being right at my driveway initially. I like that it was at ground level, so that made it easier to come in and go on and off the truck ramp. The interaction with the reps was good too. And the delivery person had my lock so I was quite pleased.

I booked PODS over the phone and we called back a couple of times as I was checking around. Overall, they were good to speak with and once I got the appointment, it was better. It was kind of a complex move and PODS was just more convenient in the long run for us. It was a little pricey though. But when we got the 7-foot container, it was clean. He was informative and the one on the other end was very supportive and pleasing so I had no complaints.

I needed help with storage and I used PODS because I can have their container at my house. I booked a 7x7 container online and when it was dropped off, the delivery guy knocked on the door and confirmed where I wanted it. PODS is convenient and easy.

I was going to a rural area. SMARTBOX doesn't service that area, while PODS does. I booked them over the phone for moving and storage and the rep was wonderful. She took care of my fears and told me I wasn't crazy for the way I was doing it. I asked for a 7-foot container. When it was delivered, it was in good condition. It was also the right size for my needs. The drivers were great and very professional too. It was a great experience with PODS.

I contracted with PODS to deliver on a specific date. I explained the arrival date was important because I had to purchase airfare and hire unpackers within a specific time. PODS assured my delivery date. One day after pick-up they canceled my shipment without explanation. The Pod won’t be delivered for more than a week after I have to return home. They offer no remuneration for my out of pocket expenses and I have to pay rental until I can return to unpack the Pod.

I had PODS deliver a pod and transport it from Nevada to Florida. And then from a house in Florida to a second place in Florida. They had very high satisfaction rating and after I did a lot of price comparing, they were the best value. I booked online and requested for their largest container. And though it was adequate, I thought it could be a bit bigger. I filled it up and still ended up not taking a bunch of stuff because I didn't have enough to get a second pod. But everything worked out fine.

We've used PODS twice now for moving. I'm the researcher. I pulled out everybody's best quote and PODS have the best. The only thing different was that the other movers would pack everything for you. With PODS, you had to pack it yourself. But what's a little bit of legwork compares to a couple of thousand dollars. So that was the reason we did it initially.

I had a big move from Nevada to Kahului, Hawaii and I used PODS since I liked the idea that I could pack up myself and put my own locks on it. I was not moving anything illegal but I liked that I was the only one with the key. PODS was the most reasonable as far as the price too. Also, the reviews that I read about them were very good. I started the process with them online then I made phone contact with them. That was very easy. I got their 16-foot container which was the biggest that they had. But I got rid of way more stuff than I really needed to because the container ended up being a little bit too big. It was fine though.

I booked the pod online, and it was pretty easy to do. We could've used the bigger one but we made it work. The drivers were both very friendly. PODS was great and we were very, very satisfied. Hopefully, I'll never need PODS again, but if I do, l would use them.

I Moved from New York to North Carolina. My experience with PODS has been very frustrating. I have paid for delivery, on 5/14/2018. I paid PODS, $1,582.10 for delivery. I was told by Representative to call back that following Tuesday to make sure. Delivery was in route. I called Tuesday s/w Leo, who stated delivery was not schedule and Money was being returned to my account. On 5/17/2018, money was return. On 5/21/2018 PODS took out $2,046.14, which included transportation, the monthly storage fee of $310 and Transportation fee of $154.00. After paying, we received a call from PODS stating there was a delay in delivery. And I will be receiving my Container May 31. 10 days later. Yesterday I received apology letter, with a promise to refund money. Then this morning. I received email to call PODS. My card is declining for 154.00 dollars. I on the phone number with billing for almost 1 hour and still no resolution.

PODS is a well-known name and I was familiar with it. Someone who was helping me wanted to use PODS also so we went with them. The container was very clean and the doors worked. However, it was a little expensive but overall, our experience with them worked well. Everybody was very friendly, helpful and courteous as well.

Great customer service but they advertise that their 16 foot container can fit a 3-4 bedroom home inside of it. If I were to put 4 beds into it I would be lucky to get a few boxes in afterwards, not counting a single other piece of furniture from my home. Just call it like it is! A 1-2 bedroom container. I feel like I was ripped off and I wish I had done better research before I paid $479 for my falsely advertised POD.

PODS had all positive reviews online so I availed of their moving and storage services. I booked a 12-foot container over the phone and the agent was excellent. They were very professional and I was pleased with the whole dealings. The container was spotless too. The driver who came was very pleasant to talk to. I would and have recommended PODS to friends. They wanted to know if the driver picked the pod up on time and how clean it was.

I got moving and storage services from PODS and I chose them because there were very few other alternatives in my area. I booked with PODS over the phone and my interaction with the representative was outstanding. I asked for an 8' x 16' container and it was big enough for all of my needs because I had initially ordered two containers, then I cut back to one. When I got the container, its cleanliness was excellent. I had awesome dealings with both of the drivers. I'd tell a friend to definitely go with PODS.

I’ve used PODS before. This time, I booked them online for moving and storage. The booking experience was fine. My son and I looked at what I had left and he said that the 12-foot container would be okay, so that's what I booked. But, it was a little tight, so I just stored the few little things at my son’s house. I was well satisfied with the container, though. It was clean and in very good shape. The drivers who picked up the container were also very nice men. They were very polite and professional too.

I’ve used PODS before and recently, I booked a pod with them again. I started online then talked with somebody and their reps were great. I had a small 7-foot pod for a small apartment and had it picked up in Ohio and delivered to North Carolina. I also used it for storage for a week. It was a tight fit but it was clean and in good condition. The drivers were very polite and very efficient, too. Then, PODS ' reps called to make sure everything went well. So, it was a wonderful experience and I was a very satisfied person. So far, I’ve used PODS four times and I would do it again. I would recommend them to others as well.

I've talked to another company for a moving service and everything's the same with PODS. But, PODS is a bigger name and they marketed that they have a bigger storage unit. I called to book a container and their reps were good at what they do. I got the 16-foot pod which came in a fine condition. It's the biggest one they have yet it wasn't adequate for my things. I needed about four of those.

I bought another house and we needed storage to keep our things. But I didn’t trust those places where you put your stuff in, so we got PODS for moving and they stored our things for four months. My husband booked with them and that was fast to do. We requested the big container and I put the contents of a two-floor house in there. The container that we got was in good condition. It was nice, clean and painted. The drivers that picked up the container both spoke Spanish and they were good to me.

I booked PODS online for moving and storage and I appreciated that. I was also able to make adjustments on deliveries online. Then, when I had to change a date, I couldn’t do it online and someone from PODS did it for me manually. The container was fine and it was full. It's been perfect with their drivers as well. I would do it again.

The online booking process of PODS is perfect as well as the size of the container I got and my interactions with the representatives and drivers. I used PODS's service for container shipping to a relocation and everything was great.

I was moving and PODS was the first one I thought of doing that kind of business. I booked them over the phone and their customer service was pretty good. Their reps asked me where I wanted the container delivered, in what area in my driveway and if I wanted to do it facing a certain way. I got the 16-foot container which was the biggest one I could find. I had so much stuff. It was clean and I didn’t have any problems with it. The drivers got the container off and they came and picked it back up. Everything was on time, the interaction was smooth and I didn’t have to worry about anything.

I needed moving and storage services from PODS. I went with them for the convenience and the website as far as the information they had there. I asked for an estimate from PODS, then I got an email with a quote from them and it had the transport organizer's name on it. I called this gentleman and arranged everything with him. I got a 16-foot container. It fit everything in there and I had not much room to spare, so it worked out perfectly. The container's sturdiness was good. There were some leftover items in there from whoever had it previously, like broken pieces of furniture knobs, but nothing terrible. PODS did an excellent job of keeping me updated on how things were gonna go, when the container was gonna get there, and when they were gonna pick it up. The process was very smooth and, according to my wife, the driver that picked up the container was very friendly.

We've seen PODS advertised but we were going to use Penske because we've done that before and we had no problems with that. But our time elements were kind of crazy and we thought we'd give PODS a try. We booked the container over the phone and their prices were comparable to what we expected. We had to change the moving days a couple of times but we had no problem at all. Working with their reps was really easy. We lived in a condo in Boca Ciega, Florida so parking was a problem. There were rules and regulations but we asked a couple of our neighbors if they'd mind it if we'd use their parking space and they said they wouldn't. We were very involved in our condo, so everybody knew us. Then, PODS picked everything up exactly as planned and it worked out great. Everything was also delivered up here in Redmond, Washington undamaged. We would recommend PODS any day.

I heard that PODS is a good company and I booked their services for moving and storage over the phone. Their reps were polite and very helpful. I got a 16-foot container which was in great shape and clean inside, but it wasn't big enough. The driver that dropped off the container was excellent and we had a very friendly and interactive conversation.

I had one piece of breakage and that was because I threw it up on top so when the ledge broke, it was at the end. Overall, my experience was fabulous. I would recommend them and I’d use them again.

Other than that, the pods fit my needs and the drivers for the pickup and drop off were both outstanding. They called and asked me for directions and placed the pods exactly where I needed them. I would recommend PODS and tell others how satisfied I was with my experience.

PODS transported a small pod from New York to Ohio for me. they were fast to respond and their prices were reasonable. Also, their representatives were knowledgeable and friendly. When the container was picked up from the first Ohio location, it was in the middle of a downpour of rain, then they delivered to another place where there was also pouring rain. When they picked it up the final time to take it back to PODS, it was also raining. The drivers did a really good job as far as knowing exactly what they were doing. I am still waiting to be credited though and it has been weeks now. They picked the pod up and the day after, they charged me for the next month of storage fee. I’ve called twice and been told I was gonna be credited but I still haven’t received a credit on my credit card. Other than the fact that they still haven’t given me my refund, PODS did a good job.

We used PODS for the convenience of the pod being delivered, which was awesome. They had a system to place the pod in a convenient place. And also, I did not have the means of any transportation to store it at any kind of storage facility, to load and unload and then do the reverse once the remodel was done. The movement of the furniture was also considered as to our immediate use. As to what we needed and what we needed to move out.

PODS' reps were outstanding! But the container wasn't the greatest. It took on the water.

We needed to move and I called around, and it seemed like the prices were similar in terms of storage and moving. Also, we were having to move twice. We had to move into an apartment while we had our house built. So my other option was to move, take our things to a storage, unload it, go back to the storage, load it, bring it back out and unload it again. PODS came and delivered the containers and we hired a company they referred to load them. Then we loaded them to store them and they brought it back. The PODS drivers were good and the containers were clean. The only issue I had was we had a piece of furniture that broke and it wasn’t from loading because there was a mirror inside the unit that broke. It wasn’t even exposed to the outside, so it got dropped or was sat down really hard. When we filed a claim, they didn’t wanna pay for anything, and that was a little disappointing because I paid a crap-load for insurance.

Company is a total rip-off! They will continue billing your CC until you cancel it. Your valuables will be destroyed, the insurance is fake and they charge you double what they quote. No way this company has the rating displayed here, go on any other site and read the complaints, they read like a broken record.

We chose between PODS and U-Haul specifically because we needed temporary storage while we were closing escrow on the purchase of a house. And we felt that PODS' containers were much sturdier. Although it was a little bit more, they offered a secure place to store the container while it was ready to be delivered to the new location. I did some research online but I had some more question so I ended up booking once I called the 800 number.

Booking the pod and scheduling the delivery and the pickup were very easy. We had a super nice driver too. He was very pleasant to work with. He called before he came and let us know, and it was definitely within the delivery window. Then we talked a little bit about Harvey because that had been keeping him busy. The 16-foot pod was perfect for us and it was in good condition.

We should have never disregarded all of the bad reviews we saw on this Company and have learned our lesson the hard way. At their attempt to deliver the POD to our residence, our neighbor's car parked in their own driveway prevented the drop-off. The neighbor was to arrive home in under an hour, but after multiple holds, we were told that they were unwilling to come back later that day or the following morning prior to the movers arriving. We were told that a charge of $109 would be incurred only to see that this morning our bank account was hit with a charge of $301! Two emails have been sent to PODS Customer Service with no responses. This Company is a complete disgrace; I am not sure how they have not been shut down. I do want to mention that UHAUL is the way to go. They came through for us and we are greatly appreciative.

Moving companies only have trucks and I didn’t want to walk up a ramp because I’m 80 years old. With PODS, I didn’t have to do that. I booked them online which was easy to do and then, they called me. I had to call them back and change the pick-up date because they took longer than what I expected. They said they would be here at a certain time and the guy called before he came. I was having my garage floor redone so, I just had PODS set the 16-foot container in my driveway and moved everything out of my garage. Then, they moved everything back in. It was absolutely full and I’m glad they didn’t have a 12-footer since I was going to get that but they didn’t have one to deliver. It wasn’t that expensive and it was exactly what I needed to do what I had to do.They did a good job and I had a great experience with the whole thing.

We did a long-distance move and we rented two 16-foot pods as well as an 8-foot pod, then had them delivered 1400 miles away. Initially, I did a little bit of research then one of our neighbors had used PODS when they moved in to our old neighborhood in Minnesota and spoke highly of their experience. When they were coming to pick it up, I had already made an arrangement for the movers to be there, for PODS to pick it up after my movers left. When I got the call of the timeframe that it was gonna be set, it wasn't the right timeframe. When I called, the lady was really rude to me and told me I didn't have any other choice and to deal with it.

PODS seemed like it was the easiest one among a couple of other companies I looked at. Dealing with their reps went well, but they didn’t wanna mess up and were overly thorough. They repeated everything 100 times to make sure it was clear so it almost dragged out and they always read back everything I said. The two 16-foot containers seemed fine, but I could’ve used three. I ended up getting U-Haul to get the whole last load with me, which was fine since I needed the stuff sooner. Everything worked smoothly like it was supposed to and I was satisfied with my experience with PODS, though I wished they were a little cheaper.

I looked it up online for sizes but they wouldn’t give me prices so I had to call. The reps were good but when we needed to change something, they couldn't accommodate us. They said they couldn’t do it for another two weeks. But they were good overall. They went through that horrible winter and nothing was damaged. It was really packed nicely and there was no water leakage or anything like that. I would recommend PODS.

With PODS, it was convenient to be able to have a container delivered, fill it up, then have it redelivered to a new location without having to empty it. It's not like storing in a storage unit where we have to rent a truck, fill the truck, fill the storage unit, remove the stuff from the storage unit, and fill the truck, so it's less manipulation of our furniture and it saves a step.

When it was time to deliver my pod to my location The Delivery Agent was very helpful. My driveway was too steep to deliver the pod so they placed it halfway on the sidewalk and half way on the street. The Delivery Agent was concerned about the local municipalities since we were blocking the street. The movers were late so that Delivery Agent actually helps me unload three quarters of the Pod before the movers arrived. He then waited while the movers finished unloading the Pod and took the pot away so that I could avoid a fine from the local municipality. This isn't the kind of service you get every day. I would definitely recommend PODS to anyone.

My mother's house got flooded last August so we moved what was salvaged out while we remodeled the house. I did a little online research since I wasn't familiar with PODS but I've had friends who used them before so I went with them. I did everything online and the process was simple. You set up an account and put your credit card information in. Then you tell them when, and you can even diagram how the pod is to be positioned and where it's supposed to be positioned. They will then email you with a delivery time.

Don't worry about trying anybody else but PODS. I needed to store all I had for a month and move, and PODS was the most affordable. I got a starting quote online by filling in my information then somebody would call me or I'd call them to finish it off. It would be nice if I could get a quote online without having to call somebody. I'm not great on the phone and doing it online would make my life easy instead of having my number out there and having a bunch of people call Nonetheless, the 16-foot container I got was like brand new. Also, my grandmother said that the driver was nice and did a great job. My truck had broken down so I couldn't move it and when the same driver who dropped the container came to pick it up, he only had a slit to work with. But he ended up getting out with no problems. So, everything was smooth.

I got PODS to store and move my stuff thinking it would be a simpler thing to do than to transport everything into someplace else. I had used PACK-RAT coming from Boiling Springs to Garner. They let me down because I had a freezer full of food that I had plugged in, in Boiling Springs. They were supposed to pick it up and deliver it so I could plug the freezer back in. Instead, they took it to the yard and said they'd deliver another day. The freezer was 24-cubic feet and full of food so one can imagine how much money that food was worth.

Everything was excellent with PODS. I needed a container dropped off and picked up, and they did exactly that. I booked it over the phone then monitored it online. I would use PODS again and recommend them.

We booked the service online, which was very easy, and requested for their biggest container that can fit in the driveway. We ended up with the 16-footer and it was probably overkill, but I'd rather have overkill. The guy that dropped it off was fantastic and he knew exactly how to get it where we wanted it and drove it well. The guy who picked it up wasn’t as creative, but we got it. I've recommended PODS around the area for that kind of thing.

PODS could do both the moving and the storage for me and using them would be easier than having to load and unload. So, I decided to hire them. I looked online but I ultimately called someone to get my questions answered. I had an issue in understanding the permits that were needed but other than that, everything went really smoothly. I used two different containers, one was from DC to Denver and the other was from Macon, Georgia to Denver. The one that was going out of state was bigger because they didn't use the smaller ones for that. Both pods ended up at the same place at the same time and the drivers were great. They were very willing to work with whatever situation they happened upon when they came to pick up the pods. If there were curves or trees that I was concerned about, they knew how to work around them. All in all, using PODS is the best way if you need to move and store stuff for a while.

PODS canceled my reservation the day of delivery. I booked it 3 weeks ahead of time and was issued a window for the unit to be delivered. An hour past the window closed I called and was information PODS could not provide a unit because of the Memphis office management. I did not have enough time to find a replacement.

The lady on the other line got all my information, explained to me the dimensions and how and when to drop it, and in one call, everything was set up and ready to go. I got a nice and clean 8-by-16 pod that was a bit skinny but 16-feet long, and I used it for three months. The inconvenience was when it was driven to and dropped at the driveway, the driveway wasn't wide enough, not only for the container but also for the size of the equipment. Also, the driver never dropped it in the place I wanted. Next time, they need to tell the old people that come out with this kind of appointment to drop it, that they need to have this and that dimensions. Other than that, everything was okay.

I booked PODS over the phone for a move and the experience with them was absolutely terrific. I love them. If I ever move again or anyone I know, they are the only way to go.

I got a recommendation for PODS and we thought it might be a good option since I had two weeks to get moved out of the house before we closed. I'm a duty military and I was moving from off-base to on-base. I was gonna use PODS to help move my stuff myself. I went online and then I called as well. I made the final say on everything through the phone. Everything was as advertised. The pod itself was fine when I got it. However, the military ended up covering the move so I had the pod for about a week and then I returned it because I didn't need it. Since I didn't have it for more than a week, they gave me my money back, which I really appreciated. Overall, I had a good experience with PODS. I'd recommend them.

I used the storage service from PODS. I went online to get a quote, and then I called to sign up and get it going. The reps were very helpful and recommended me the size I needed for what house size I had. They were very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I had to change my pick-up date and they made it really easy. They gave me an extension for an extra last day that I didn’t use. They were also very nice on the phone. They said if I have any questions, I could just give them a call.

PODS gave me the option to have my stuff on the premises of my new house. It was very easy to get a quick quote and book the pod online. The 16-foot container was the perfect size and it worked just right. But I didn't know how watertight it was, so I opened it numerous times to make sure that it was not leaking, but everything was perfectly fine. Their drivers were very friendly and pleasant people to be around. They delivered the pod to my old house and then they would pass it up and moved it to the new house and left it there until we finished the new house. And then, they came and picked it up when we had it emptied out. And if I needed a service like that again, I would give PODS a call.

I was looking at PODS and seeing if they were in our town. I didn’t wanna have to haul it toward them. I wanted something definitely onsite. I called PODS and they were very helpful, efficient and I loved the way the whole process works so, I went with them. I got a normal-sized container which was perfect. I fitted everything I could get in there and it was slam-full when I was done. I like the design of it where the top is clear where I could see in as long as the sun was shining.

We used a middle-sized container from PODS a year and a half ago when we moved into the house and didn’t know where we were gonna put some of the stuff. And we kept the container for another month until we found a home. The second time we used PODS was last December for five months of storage because we were remodeling the kitchen and we had to move everything out of the kitchen and the living room. We stored them in a full-size container and we had more than adequate space so I could move around in it if I needed something. However, the containers looked cheesy and I was surprised that they were just plywood with plastic on the outside. But both times, they were weatherproof and there was nothing else I could ask for. The drivers were great, very professional, helpful and answered my questions. I had a positive experience with PODS and they were priced competitively too.

We hired PODS to house our belongings short term while repairs were being done to our home. We were told that the pod would be in a climate controlled warehouse. We purchased the content protection insurance. We requested they return our pod to our driveway after 2 1/2 months. We discovered water in the pod. It ruined our Sleep Number mattress, several boxes of books - moldy, some clothes - moldy. Contacted PODS to report the claim. End result - they could not determine how water got in therefore they would not cover it. The "contents protection insurance" is so filled with loopholes. They don't cover mold and water damage? How did this even happen? DO NOT use this company!

We had the PODS unit at our house for nine months, and then they picked up and moved it to our new location. The driver was on time, knowledgeable, respectful and very easy to work with. He called ahead of time before the scheduled pick-up and gave us an hour to 45-minute notice before he arrived. He was very punctual. We got the size 12 container and it was great. It was absolutely clean. It was a great experience.

PODS was lower to the ground, easier to move into, and they would leave it at my location. I had a wonderful experience with PODS. I was having a home built and needed somewhere to store my stuff. I’m single and didn’t have a lot of people to help me move and I went with PODS for the convenience. I booked a pod online and it was easy. I received a phone call and an email for confirmation, and the people were courteous. I had two 16-foot containers that were clean. The one driver that brought and picked them up was very friendly. I’ve already recommended PODS.

I would have given them 0 if I could have! First they were supposed to deliver early morning, they didn't, I finally got the pod at 10. 2nd - the largest pod supposedly holds 4 rms, nope not even close. You would be lucky to get three rooms in, I only had a 1 bedroom condo to move! And I couldn't get a coffee table and my bed in. 3rd. They charged me 353. for this plus one month of storage at their facility in Melbourne FL. 4th I went to set up the delivery for my new place in Homosassa (2 hrs) due west of here. I would have to pay a delivery charge of 199.00, ok, fine, and then I would have to pay a transfer fee from their storage facility in Melbourne to the storage facility in Ocala (4 hrs north of here) of 689!

We were moving from one house down the street to another house. We booked with PODS over the phone and had an excellent interaction with the rep. We requested for the 25 foot container which was perfect for our needs. It was at its purest when we got it but the door was very hard to shut as it was bent. I was able to close it eventually, but not totally. The driver was very nice both times when he went and picked up the pod and when he served it. Everything about working with PODS was excellent except for the return which was terrible. We couldn’t find the number and my wife talked to someone before we finally got PODS to come pick up the container. It took several days for them to pick it up but when I ordered it, it was fine.

I did some shopping around and I heard good things about PODS. I prefer to do things over the phone but after I got everything set up and I had a password, then I did everything pretty much online. There are times when the website is very difficult to use when you want a specific answer. But when you call the service number, they always give you an answer. They're very helpful when you call them, though sometimes you have to wait a long time if they're busy. We moved to a very rural place 17 miles from the nearest city and then a good hour from any place that PODS would come from, and it had very sandy soil. There were very specific things that I needed the driver to know so that they didn't get stuck and there was no way to answer that other than through a person.

I needed moving and storage services and I chose PODS because of the convenience and flexibility of the situation I was in. Initially, I booked the pod over the phone, but I booked an additional pod later online. Everything about the online part was great but the response time on their website was very lagging. I requested for three 16 x 8 x 8 containers, although I originally started with two 16 x 8 x 8. I packed one of them too much, so I had to distribute it to another pod. It would have been nice to have a better education on how to pack the pod prior to packing. But the containers were all clean and well-kept.

The containers from other companies were a combination of wood and cloth. The U-Haul one was a little bit more fabricated and I was concerned about it 'cause my stuff is heavy. Since this was gonna store more of my valuable stuff, I wanted it to be entirely metal or relatively close to metal. PODS’ container looked very clean and professional. It looked like my stuff would be safe in there.

The house we’re selling was in Connecticut and I'm here in Pittsburgh. I needed a storage so I booked PODS online and they followed up with me over the phone. I had no idea what it was gonna be all about but doing it long distance I had no choice. The guy I dealt with asked me what I needed to put in it and I explained everything. He said that I had the right size of the container. I was scared that the pod wasn't gonna fit in the driveway because it's lined with the Belgian block, like stone on the edges. He went on Google Earth for me, looked and said that it looked fine and it was. He was fantastic and there was plenty of room. The container got delivered and it was in perfect condition and spotless. Then, we had to get our own lock.

I ended up getting the largest container. It was adequate for what I needed and I felt satisfied once all my things were in there. I was impressed with their drivers too. There was a minor flood in my house and initially, I got an insurance-paid, large storage pod. Then since the work could not be completed within the time the insurance was done with their efforts, I rented a smaller pod on my own. Both pods were excellent. My interactions with the PODS reps on the telephone were excellent. Also, the gentleman that delivered the second smaller pod was very generous with his time. The pod came delivered backwards and he managed to turn the whole thing around in a small space and put it the way I needed it. I would tell a friend to go for PODS.

PODS is a great service. I was in the midst of moving. I sold my house and needed to store some things until I bought a new house six months later. I got a decent-sized container from PODS where I could fit a bed, a couch and other things. I also had a climate controlled storage unit where I did like beds, but I utliized my pod for furniture and bigger things because the luxury of simply having them delivered right to my door was a nice action, instead of having to repack things and move them. I couldn't pass that up. The reps were great, very easy to talk to, easy to understand and everything got set up. When I got my pod delivered, it was supposed to come with a lock, but it did not. I got charged for a lock and I called and told them that I didn't receive a lock. The charge was taken right off like so, that's great.

I was moving from Virginia to New Mexico but I was pressed for dates and everybody else wanted a two-week lead time. I called PODS and they dropped the pod when I wanted it, picked it up when I needed it and then delivered it when I wanted it at the other end. The driver was great too. I moved into a three-bedroom house and I’ve basically filled out two rooms and a kitchen. But I’m in the military and I had a lot of stuff. I brought all my stuff and some sports stuff, then my family is bringing the rest.

We were able to bungee everything down and cover it so it wouldn’t be running around while we’d be driving.

I have seen PODS in my neighborhood frequently. I liked the name brand and the logo on the pods themselves. We did the booking over the phone, and the representatives were excellent. We had two units delivered to our house to our house, and then they were picked up. Then they were picked up from the nearest environmental storage, and then redelivered. The whole process took about three months.

It turned out that the truck sank in the mud and there was nowhere to leave the POD. But the company refunded all my money without me even requesting a refund and the representative was always courteous and professional. I am moving to an apartment and eventually buying a house in a couple of years. I wouldn't hesitate to use PODS to move from the apartment to the next house. I think they treated me fairly.

They called me and I would call them back. And I had the same driver for both the pick-up and the drop-off. They were very friendly and the price was neat as well. So, it worked out really good.

ABF had a similar type of deal, but I researched PODS on the internet and they had glowing endorsements. I called and talked to their reps, and everybody was upbeat. I'm retired now and I've got a bad disposition, and their people were at least friendly and helpful on the face of it. We got the biggest pod that they had, and though I wish I had a bigger one, it fitted our needs. It was also clean and neat. The guys that both delivered it to our home in Florida and picked it up there were kids compared to me and they were wonderful to deal with. You tell them what you want and they jump through hoops to get it done for you.

The reps were very good, helpful and explained everything very well. When I had questions, they were able to answer them in a concise way so I could understand it.

We hired PODS during our move because of their service over the phone. I booked over the phone and I spoke with three or four different people and they were excellent. I got a 16-footer container and it was right to the edge. There was no extra room there but it was clean. And the drivers were all excellent. Everyone seems to be professional and the timing of it was terrific. The whole experience was very satisfying.

It's really convenient with PODS because you won't need to load and unload at a storage unit since everything would be brought right to your door. I'd do it again.

I needed storage services and PODS was a name I had heard before so I started looking. I checked on pricing and I had heard that they were reliable. I booked online and it was very easy to do. All I did was log on to the website, register my information, and decide what size of the pod I wanted. I got an email saying that they had received my order and everything was on schedule. I requested for the 16-footer and it was in good condition. There were no dents on it and it was great. We weren’t home when they delivered it but the guy who delivered the container called in advance and let us know they were coming and gave us instruction how much room they would need. So, it was all set and ready for them to drop the pod. The same thing when they picked it up, we were ready for them to come and get it and store it for us, so everything worked really smoothly.

We’ve used PODS before and had a really good experience. We went with them again and booked over the phone because for what we were trying to do, the online booking would not allow us to actually complete the process. Both people I spoke to were very knowledgeable about the PODS’ process and what had to be done. They even reminded us that at the place we were moving to, there’s a law in place about how long you can have a pod sitting on the street.

I booked with PODS online and it was easy. I had two of the big pods. I said that’s what I needed but they said I needed another one, so we had to get a 7-foot container as well. When the containers were unloaded at the house, I was impressed because a guy was sweeping them out. I had brand-new furniture in my kitchen, my dining room, and my living room, and I had a wardrobe. I told them over and over that wardrobe was heavy. But it was so scratched and damaged, and so were my nightstands. My wardrobe was awful and needs to be totally refinished. I had a substantial hole punched in my new leather chair too. I had a new bunk bed and a whole chunk of wood is gone. My furniture was so destroyed.

The persons I talked to over the phone were very helpful and the container I got was big and clean. Plus the driver was very pleasant. We had a container dropped off and picked up and then dropped off again and picked up. So all those four times, we weren’t always around when they came but they always called and let us know that they were coming. Everything was good. They didn’t have any problems. I would recommend them. Plus they were very reasonable price-wise.

I used PODS a long time ago. More recently, I booked them over the phone for a moving service. My whole experience with the PODS representative was good and everything was perfect. The driver was great too. I’d tell a friend to give PODS a call and that it's good.

I booked PODS over the phone and their rep was a little pushy but okay. I liked their price and I requested for the largest container they had. I had more stuff that I can put in but it was good. The container was clean. Also, their drivers were excellent. They put the container right where I wanted without a problem. Last month though, I find out that I was charged again for some unknown reason and I had called and they said they'd get back to me. The problem was taken care of but I don’t know why they started charging me again. There was no feedback on that.

I've used PODS for moving and storage. I got their big sized container and I received it in good condition. It was clean and sturdy. The driver who picked up my container was on time. He was great. Thereafter, I called them to reschedule the delivery because I had to keep it in storage for a while.

The PODS rep was very nice and helpful. I was moving from California to Idaho and we got the 7-foot container which was a perfect fit for everything that we needed. When we had to get back to PODS because the apartment complex would not let the pod stay as long as we wanted it to, they went out of their way for us to accommodate the apartment complex. The drivers were very sweet and nice. They always called and let us know where they were at and showed up when they said they would. Nothing really got broken. Everything was perfect and I would recommend this company.

I needed storage services so I called PODS. I went with them because the pod could come to me and I could fill it up and then they could take it away. The people who I talked to were very accommodating. Also, the guy who owns or runs it and then the man that dropped them off were very nice. I had to go out a few times and anytime that I needed to get something out of the pod, they would bring and get it right away. They were very thoughtful in which way the door should open so it'd be easier for me to work. PODS was convenient. I would also love to use them for moving but they're so expensive. Still, the storage was a no-brainer if you got a lot of stuff.

I was going through a divorce and I haven’t found a place to stay yet. Using PODS for the storage was convenient because I didn’t know where I was going to be living. Moreover, they gave me a free pick-up and delivery, which was good. I booked over the phone first and the rep was good. Then I was able to make adjustments online. The one that came and picked the pod up was really nice, very thorough, and knowledgeable. The one that dropped it off and put the pod in the driveway with my stuff was also very knowledgeable.

I rented the biggest POD to store stuff when I moved twice. It was sturdy, clean and handy. I booked it up online, but I was also talking to somebody. Then, they gave me the local number because they picked up from my area. Their reps were very, very good on the phone. Overall, my experience has been very good.

I needed storing and moving services and to do what we wanted to do, there weren’t many options. We're a bookstore and we had a special event that was not in the store. It was in a square in the city and we had to receive the books inside the pod because there were a ton of them. We've used PODS before and had a good experience with them in the past. They have good rates. The PODS people moved the pod to the square for the event and then back to the store, so we can reconcile. Then we emptied the pod, and then they shipped it back. The event had weird hours, so we booked the pods online a little, then we had to talk to somebody to confirm and go through the channels because we were not in the normal timeframe with deliveries.
