Great experience from my first phone call to drop off at my new location there is nothing that could have gone any better. On top of that the cost is better than moving companies and I knew where my belongings were all the time. I will definitely use them again.

The whole experience was mostly good. The pricing and charges was another thing. My 30 day ended on Sunday and they try to charge me an extra month because they would need to pick it up on Monday. The charges are not clear, at the end I figured out that there was a charge for dropping off the POD, a charge for the time left at our place and then a charge to pick it up. As if you had the option not to have them pick it up.

in the process of moving, PODS really made things much much easier. I took out a lot of household furniture and other things that made the house too crowded. They came exactly when they said they were going to come and brought it back exactly when I asked them to. It was a fantastic convenience and a great help in the moving process.

PODS was amazing. I used them twice with different size units. Pickups and drop offs were at the times I needed and days I needed. They were also able to place the pods in a construction area within 2 parking spots. Also, friendly and customer service was easy to understand and available.

Having the pod sitting in our driveway allowed us to pack a little bit each day and move it out as we had time. Saved us a lot of time and money with the professional movers for the big, difficult stuff. I also got to play a big real life game of Tetris. The drivers that moved the POD around were very experienced and did a great job maneuvering the very large loading vehicle. I was very impressed!

PODS guided me from start to finish. PODS offered help when no other company would! Customer service asked me what size pod I needed. I asked what are sizes do they have. They told me the sizes. I told them I don't think I need a large one. I chose the small container. They asked when I wanted the POD delivered. I told them the date. I asked how much it was going to cost me. I was told how much it would cost me for the large container.

The POD was used store everything in our garage so that we could get the floor coated. It proved to be the perfect solution for temporary storage. It could be positioned close to the garage on the driveway which made moving our garage contents very easy. It is possible to lock the container, but you will need to provide the lock. Delivery and Pick-up of the POD was done within the time indicated.

Our experience with Pods was smooth! Only 1 small hiccup with final pick up being delayed a day. I truly hope I never have to move again, but I will certainly recommend Pods to friends and family! We contacted POD to move our household goods from Texas to Florida and once we agreed on dates we got ready for their arrival. The first POD (8x16) arrived on time and we started to fill it. We decided we did not need the second 8x16 and downsized to the 8x8 which was fine. It arrived and we loaded it. They arrived on time to pick up and delivered on time in Florida. We are very happy with the drivers and service. Thank you.

I Followed all of the packing instructions and strapped things down in sections and everything arrived just as I packed it. Each Pods driver was on time and there were no extra costs or hidden fees. It’s also fun to watch podzilla. All of the neighbors got a kick out of it too!

Although the Drop and Pick in Savannah was very timely, my experience with Drop and Pick from the Suwanee location was not timely when I needed the Pod deliveries or pickups. My understanding is there are not enough employees at that location. The delays cost me additional storage fees. The drivers were very courteous and professional when dropping and picking Units.

We were extremely pleased with our Pods experience.. Customer service was very thorough in setting Our expectations. Delivery was very timely, pick up of empty pod took longer than expected but that was the only slight negative we experienced. We moved from Connecticut to Florida and the pod Arrived when expected and in very good condition, we felt with the price and logistics this was by far our best option for a move. It worked out well for us to take the time we needed to load the pod (we rented the largest).

There was a pricing issue when I had to reschedule, but through my persistence it was resolved. The representative wanted to assess me an extra month rental even though the time period, ie number of days did not change.

I sold my house and moved to temporary accommodations for four months, when I found a new home 20 miles away PODS wouldn’t move my container, because they told me it was out of the service area…. I paid a premium in monthly storage compared to local storage in order to prevent me from moving twice. If I knew that I was restricted to certain areas I wouldn’t have used the service in the first place.

If I can give them 0 stars I would. I will never use PODS again. It's been a nightmare from start. I moved from Florida to Texas. Paid them for the first transactions to transport my stuff to texas. 5 days later they went into my account again and took the fees again. When I called to ask why was I being charged a second time they say oh it was a computer error so an error taking out an extra $714.00. No, I don't think so, mind you I already paid $2900 for the transporting and then the first $714. Ok my money go back into my account. I check my account again. Here it is. They took $224 out of my bank account.
This time I call. I spoke with a manager. He tells me it was another error so he refunds the money back to me. Now when it's time to have it dropped off to my new location because I had it stored for 1 month do you know they would not release my property because they wanted me to pay that $224 back that they had no reason to take out my account so I paid it. Here it is 2 months later July 22nd 2024. I still don't have my property. They keep telling me it's gonna be delivered this day then this day. At this point I reached out to a lawyer because me and my kids Been sleeping on air mattress when I have a Pod full of furniture. I would never use Pods in my life. They are a rip off company.

My PODs experience was stressful and the service was very disappointing. They give you a 3 hour delivery “window” to plan around. They only estimate when they will deliver, giving themselves 3 hours of wiggle room. I needed 2 large pods delivered to my storage unit on July 1, 2024. I live out of state and booked a 2-night stay at a local hotel to take care of this matter. The manager at the storage facility reluctantly agreed to let me have the pods delivered to my storage unit on my promise that both pods would be removed that same day, as they would be blocking access to two other storage units. I paid PODs an extra $430.84 for this service. The two delivery “windows” were that morning. The first one was delivered around 8:30am and the second one was delivered around 10:30am.
Not knowing the exact time that these pods would be delivered, I arranged for a moving company to move my belongings from the storage unit to the pods that same afternoon. The moving company also gave me a “window” of noon-4pm, and arrived at about 2pm. Before the movers even showed up, representatives from PODs called wanting to pick up the pods. I asked them to delay the pick up because the pods had not been loaded yet. All I needed was a couple of extra hours to get the pods loaded, but PODs was not flexible enough with their 3-hour “windows” to give me that extra time to get them loaded.
After numerous phone calls, my pods were rescheduled for pick up at a later date. Initially, they wanted to reschedule the pick up for 2 days later, but I told them that was unacceptable because I needed them picked up the same day because I only had one more night reserved at the hotel, I paid extra money for the same day pick up, and also because of my promise to the manager of the storage facility.
The manager at PODs finally agreed to pick up the pods the following day. The manager at the storage facility threatened to have the fully loaded pods towed if they weren’t removed by the end of the second day. The pods were loaded and ready to be picked up by 3:15pm that same afternoon. If their schedule had really been flexible, then Pods could have been picked up that same day. One was removed around 10:30am and the second one was finally removed around 3:30pm the next day, July 2, 2024. I am unhappy that I paid an extra $430.84 for the same day pick up and did not get that service. Instead, they were picked up a day later.

We were very happy using PODS for both long term storage and shipping our household goods. The drivers were very prompt and made sure to place the PODs exactly where requested. There was no damage to any of our items. We also had easy access to our POD while it was in their warehouse. The only drawback was it took a while for them to schedule our drop off & pick up because they are so busy!

Horrible experience! Delivery was fine but when it was time to terminate my service, it was a mess. I wish I would have thoroughly done my research because terminating services has been the same for most of PODS customers. If you have money to give away, rent from PODS because they will purposely delay pickup just to charge you an additional month because as their policy states... they do NOT prorate and for whatever reason they can cancel or delay (yes, at their discretion) pick up and they can charge you that monthly fee plus pick-up charges.
So you have paid for something that you no longer have access to. I would understand if the cancelation or delay was my fault, but it was the company that canceled and reschedule multiple times just so my payment cycle could start over. A lesson learned. I can NOT and will NOT recommend this company to anyone. Invest your hard-earned money on another company or in yourself. We live and learn and PODS is definitely on my "DO NOT WASTE MONEY/TIME" list.

PODS does the climate-controlled storage. Most of the reps were nice. But I faced some issues with getting different information from the various reps throughout my experience. It was around scheduling and getting my pod delivered to my final address. where we went back and forth. I ended up sorting it out. But I would get one version from somebody and told something else from someone else and I would call back. I got different versions of how to move my pod to the right place. That was the most hectic and chaotic part that PODS could improve upon. But the drivers for drop-off and pick-up were both great. They stuck to their windows.

PODS was great. I would do it again. I tried doing it online but I found it easier to call them. And I spoke to someone over the phone and it was much better that way. The rep was able to offer me better deals. And he gave me better pricing than I would have got if I was online. They were cheaper. And as far as the storage goes, it was convenient to have at a location right here where I am. Online, they have the little gimmick thing that I could tell them what they would take and it fits it in. But I went over it with him and he also agreed that I just needed the smallest one.
The only thing that I knock them on is that there are three size pods. There's the 8 foot, the 12 foot and the 16 foot. But if you're moving out of state, they only let you take the 8 or the 16. They don't offer you the 12, which I would have taken the 12. But the 12 is only if you're moving in state. If you're moving out of state, they don't let you use the 12. Why? I don't know. As it turned out, I was able to use just the smallest one. I didn't think everything would fit in there. But that's the other thing. We used a service that they offer for services to pack the pod on their website. I looked at the reviews for all of them. And the one I chose, they did a great job. They fit everything in perfectly, nothing broke. I used them again to unload when I got here, and they were good.
Both of the guys that picked up and dropped off were great. They were very friendly, and had great customer service. I got a text from PODS. "Are you happy, everything good?" And that was fine. I could have responded if there was anything negative. The people that I used to unload also called me to make sure everything was good on both occasions.

I ordered PODS right before a kitchen remodel. We had a water leak in our house and we were without a kitchen for two years. I was in a dispute with the insurance company who refused to give us enough money to do the repairs to the kitchen and the master bathroom. After waiting a year and a half, I decided to bite the bullet and get a pod here and keep things in the driveway so we could access things from the kitchen. PODS cost quite a bit but my things were safely stored. With all the rains that we had this last winter, nothing got wet. I had a large pod put in the driveway and the guys were so expert, both coming into the driveway and leaving. It was impressive. They came when they said they would and the fee to pick stuff up was reasonable. I would use them again. I had a very favorable experience and they were professional and did what they said.

I started the booking online and finished it on the phone. I requested for the smallest pod that they had and used it for transporting items from one end of the country to the other. We rented it for a few weeks to do that. Their drivers are some of the friendliest people. They were very happy to do their job and they were very helpful. They called before they got here and let us know they were on their way.

I was contacting different moving companies and the prices were outrageous. My Mom had a friend that moved and used PODS so my Mom suggested me calling PODS. I did, and the customer service rep was so professional, answered all my questions. They delivered everything they promised at an affordable price. I moved from Florida to Rhode Island. None of my items were damaged. They picked up when they say they would and they delivered when they say they would. Reliable, trustworthy company.

I got the largest container that they have and the quality was good. I used their services to store some furniture. Everything was good. But PODS charges you for the lot. They should provide a lot for that with the amount that they got. Regardless of the size of the container, they should give the lot for free. Also, they need to get bigger containers.

I called the PODS number and told them what I needed, and the gal that answered the phone was very helpful and got it all set up for me. She was willing to help no matter what. My move wasn't gonna just be a pickup here and drop-off there. I had to store it, and I had certain days, and she worked with me fabulously. I had received a couple of estimates from all-service moving companies who would come in and pack everything up for me and move it, so I was shocked at that amount of price that they were giving me. It was like $3,500 and it was awful. So, I was very happy with the pricing that I got from PODS. That's why my kids said, “No, mom. Just go with PODS. We can help you move.”

This was a total debacle from the first day. I ordered a pod and had it delivered; tried to set up a day for them to pick it up but they didn’t have days available to come move it to the new house. We called them multiple times to try and find a resolution. They simply did not have enough drivers to do the job they set out to do. Our things arrived at our new house 2 1/2 weeks after we closed, meaning our stuff sat on someone else’s property for a long period of time. Because of the delay in picking up the pod, we were forced to pay a second month's rent for the pod. This is an absolutely terrible business experience and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

It was easy with PODS and the price was good. I had a pod put in my driveway. I was doing some remodeling and it held my belongings until I was done with it. Then, I left one of my most prized possessions inside and luckily, the driver went and checked. He found it for me and he was awesome and went above and beyond. I had a very great experience with PODS and I would recommend them.

Terrible experience!!! Hidden fees and messed up booking software! To add to this what was quoted to me was $615 and I’m now paying $1,300 due to hidden and not clearly disclosed fees. Also I booked and confirmed POD return for July 12 as I do not want to pay for another rental month (which is July 14) and the day before the pick up, the date changed to 22 July and no one in customer service can assist me! Now I have to block my credit card so I don’t get charged another $615 on the 14th. Moving is already hectic and stressful and PODS just made it intensely worse. Never again!

Pods was the perfect solution for our overseas move. We needed to start packing our home without renting an offsite storage service. Pods dropped right on our driveway and we were able to start packing and labeling our home items. As soon as the overseas container was dropped off, we had an excellent system of transferring the items from the house, to Pods, to the container. I hope one day Pods does overseas transport because the one we had to use was horrible. Thank you for making our Big move easy.

I had a military family member needing help moving his stuff across country, so I called PODS. I talked to the technical support, Drew, then the one in sales and billing, Ken. They were both great and very helpful. They were very nice to deal with and what they said was exactly what happened. Everything was explained perfectly and the process was easy. The pod went all the way from Ohio to Seattle, Washington and once they took it away, they shipped it in a couple days. And it was there a week later. I highly recommended PODS and I would use them again in a instant. It's the best way to move. You touch your own stuff, you pack it in there, then they come and get it.

I ordered a pod because of my situation and I regret everything about it! They didn’t honor their contract price, they disregarded my coupon that I had presented and after charging me $901 for 48 total days of storage with 2 pick ups and 2 deliveries. I tried to use the 25% off but the CSR stated he had a better deal —- after all was said and done. With their “regular price” the total would have come out to $814.00 for the two months — with the coupon price it would have been $610 and change…. I am not asking for all my money I’m asking to honor the deal — they refused and closed my case… Do NoT trust or use this company unless you have a lot of money and just don’t care where it goes… would have been cheaper to hire 2 movers and a storage unit!

We moved a shipload of household furniture from Arizona to Boston and I needed to store the furniture for four months. A friend of mine told me that if I was gonna move things cross-country, PODS is the most economical way to do it and everything went wonderfully. I talked with somebody when I first set up an account and the rep asked me all the right questions. We got the right thing lined up and she told me exactly what to expect and what to do. Also, it was easy to change pickup and delivery dates online. They were very careful about letting me know timetables and dates and they provided options for moving crews that I could hire. I'd recommend them to anybody. They were really incredibly efficient and the price was so wonderful compared to a moving company moving cross-country. And storing for five months, you can't beat the price.

We liked PODS’ reputation and booking a pod with them online was very straightforward. We used a single pod to do a household contents move and it was very weather-resistant. But the roof was very rough. It had a stucco-type finish, which was probably required because of the way the pods were made. But as a user, it would have been nice if that was smooth.
A definite positive was that when the pod was delivered, the driver made sure that we could get the door open, which at first was not possible. We had to tilt the pod to do a minor adjustment on one piece of furniture that had moved close to the door and was blocking it. He facilitated getting the pod open. Otherwise, a callback would have been required. But all was good. The driver was very positive and professional. The only question I had was whether I had to prompt them for final delivery or if it would be transferred from city to city on my own. I called in and a person clarified what the website meant when it gave me a message I didn't understand.

The overall service was OK, in regards to booking, delivery and picking up the POD. But they are a bit misleading when they say airconditioned space. A lot of the items came back with mold. Obviously ruined. I won't be using PODS again for this reason. Items included books, shoes, clothing, etc.

US Service Members Beware: I am a US military service member and got 2 year overseas orders. We had Pods pick up our stuff in SC and it was stored there as well. We paid $490 a month. Upon return to the states they are charging us an additional $1500 to move the pod from SC to NC. Nowhere in the contract communicates that it will cost that much to move it, only that some long distance delivery fees will apply. I could imagine if we were moving to CA or TX. When talking to customer service they blamed me for not know where I was going after my overseas orders had been completed and said there was nothing they could do. I hate it when companies take advantage of service members and this is what it seems to me.

PODS’ pricing was better than renting a Ryder truck once it was all finished and I didn't have to worry about driving. Plus, it was more convenient. I started booking online and I then talked to the reps from PODS on the phone. Everybody I talked to was great. You call through each phase, to deliver the pod, to get the pod picked up, to have the pod shipped and to have the pod delivered to your new home. And each one, you call and set up an appointment and have it all done. Everything went smoothly. We got one large pod and we thought it was gonna be small, but everything fit. It was perfect.
I downloaded the app and it was informative. It gives you where it was located at any given moment. The drivers were great and they were doing things with those pods that I didn't figure they could even do. When the driver delivered it, he put it right where I wanted it and didn't damage any of the lawn. It was quite good. It was a challenging location where we had it delivered because the house sits on a hill that drops off and he put it in a good place. I probably should have done better with the padding. I had some furniture that was rubbed but none of the glass was broken.

We rented a POD for much, much longer than we had originally intended. There were two scheduled pick-ups that needed to be changed and rescheduled last minute - no problems at all, the process was simple and quick. The delivery and pick-up was problem-free, and we live in a very rural area, making the maneuvering somewhat challenging - but again, no problems and absolutely no complaints. While we definitely hope that we won’t have a future need for this kind of storage, we would absolutely use PODs again. Thank you, PODS.

We have been a customer since 22. Overall moving experience has been great. Had 5 containers in storage for 2+ years. Was surprised that we didn’t get a larger discount due to our storage duration, when we had a pod delivered, etc. We would recommend PODS to others for sure, delivery guys were amazing.

Pods performed as they projected. Explained the procedures clearly deliveries and pickups were at the time they projected. My goods arrived safe and sound on the day they had said. I had no problems. Workers' words were polite and considerate. I would recommend them again.

Sold one house and bought another, but there was three weeks in between moving in and moving out. Using PODS was the perfect solution - load once (at my pace and convenience), store at their air conditioned warehouse (so no storage unit to deal with) until ready to move on, and then unpack once! The whole process from beginning to end was quick, easy, and accurate. I would definitely use PODS again and recommend them to anyone!

The last 16 ft Pod I rented was falling apart. Patches all over. Bolts missing. Very few hooks for straps. Roof looked like it was about to fall off. Unsightly sitting in my community. This pod should have been scrapped. It was poor advertisement for anyone who saw it. Mentioned it to the driver, and he said that was what he was given to deliver.

I can't say enough about the PODS service... They were prompt in dropping off the POD in the Poconos and right on time with drop off and pickup in Orlando. Both drivers were very professional and asked where I would like it dropped. Best $2,500 I have ever spent... The furniture, clothes and boxes were exactly as we loaded them, nothing moved, nothing was broken. The Customer Service was very polite & helpful also, they actually told me which size I needed and they were correct to the last box, lol.

Overall good experience. Customer service lied to me in our first conversation about everything in my house. I explained that I have a fully furnished 3 bedroom house, included the square footage. Customer service assured me that one pod would be plenty. I was told I only needed one large pod. I needed 2 large. When I called back to order another pod, they were very helpful and gave me a good discount. They recommended a good list of packing companies. PODS can be a few thousand dollars less than a moving company if you pack and load on your own.

I ordered a POD online just a couple of days after Hurricane Ian destroyed our community & home. The website was easy to navigate, explained what to expect accurately, & options were ideal. The drop off &, ultimately, the pickup/return, was as promised & placement instructions were followed as noted on the order. Payments were made online so everything was easy & convenient. The POD option was a major help to us- a relief for onsite storage for the past 21 months while our community & home were being cleaned up & rebuilt. I would use this option again & have recommended PODS to everyone. Thank you!

Started out great, pod was delivered as stated on date stated. Then when it was time to pick up pod unit and start its journey to another state the pickup time was delayed twice that day then finally cancelled. So we were leaving the next day to fly to MA and the pod didn't get picked up for 2 days later than originally scheduled. So that meant the delivery to new location was going to be 2 days later than planned. The problem was needed possessions were in the pod so was inconvenienced without much needed stuff 2 day longer than was originally told it would arrive. The delivery man and pick up man were extra nice and very professional. I think the communication between drivers and customers needs to be improved. It left a lot to be desired.

PODS was excellent to deal with. The booking of the Pod was very simple. The agent was knowledgeable of the delivery site. They were obviously using a Google Map type app to know the locations. The agent as pleasant cheerful and comforting. PODS delivered a clean POD on time and picked up on time for both the delivering - pickup - redelivery & repickup. The delivery guys were great to work with. Great care was taken to place the container as conveniently as possible to still allow us good access to our home. Overall awesome service. I’d highly recommend PODS to anyone moving or needing their items safely stored on their own site or stored away at a POD depot. PODS provided good and reasonable flexibility with the definition of the number of days we had the POD at our home and for while it was in Storage.

I used two PODS to move from Maryland to Texas. The process was easy to order and they answered all my questions when placing my initial order. The delivery was a very easy process as was the pickup. I stored the PODS with them for several months before having them delivered to my Texas home. The delivery and pick up to my Texas home was a very easy process. I was not even home when the PODS were picked up in Texas. Over PODS made the process was very easy and comfortable considering moving is normally a difficult process. Overall very good experience. Very well priced and can pack basically anything in the pod, no additional cost, which is definitely a factor in my decision to use them. Customer service can be difficult at times. Called multiple times to double check that order was received and stated there was multiple orders under my name. During the moving process contacted customer service and was given multiple different answers. The gentleman that came to my house to drop off and pick up the pad were awesome. Took very good care of my property so I had nothing to worry about. I would definitely use PODS again.

We were preparing to move and PODS allowed us to: A. Remove extra furniture to improve real estate listing and showings, B. Allowed us to load boxes/items over several days rather than in one time frame and C. Only load/unload items once versus a storage unit or friend’s shed. Communication was great from the emails, phone calls, and in-person messages.

I will recommend PODS to everyone I know, they are not only friendly but know their business, received our container the way we packed it! The way they handled the container from delivery of and pick up to deliver from SW Florida all the way to Long Beach, California. We were able to drive our own car without worrying about driving a moving truck and pulling our car, nor did we need to worry about our belongings, we had bought our own lock but when the container was delivered we discovered the lock was too big, the driver went into his truck and got a new lock at no extra charge, if that’s not going above and beyond, I don’t know what is.

I definitely loved using the pod. It was convenient and I didn’t realize how easy it would be to do a remodeling job with a pod in my own driveway. I was able to do it slowly, take out items myself with a help of a friend. I have originally hired Help, but they didn’t show up so I was able to just take out things slowly, even though I am older. I was also able to go back in and get items out. I can’t recommend using this company enough and will also use them definitely if I ever moved..

We have used PODS service twice within the last 5-6 years. My recent use was a 3 year contract. I felt the price was fair and service was excellent. The container was clean and stable, the delivery person was extremely helpful working with the rules on my condo complex and respectful of the property. Smooth delivery and return when needed within the window of time promised. I recommend them to all who need this type of service. I especially enjoyed watching "Podzilla" in action.

I received a quote online from an overseas person. The initial quote increased and then eventually decreased with a discount for the smallest pod to be shipped from the Fort Myers, FL, area to the Phoenix area with the hiring of a loader in Florida. The Pod was delivered on time in Florida and the loaders arrived on time and did an excellent job. The Pod was picked up and transported to the Phoenix area as agreed with no issues. As the pod was being moved my credit card was charged accordingly. It was only after the total move was made that I realized I was OVERCHARGED approximately $150.00 above the internet quoted price. I called PODS and they turned down my claim for the overcharge. MY ADVICE: USE PODS BUT GET A WRITTEN QUOTE OVER A VERBAL QUOTE OR YOU COULD BE OVERCHARGED!

They were to be at my house at noon but didn’t arrive until 6 PM. I finally called and was told they were delayed at the previous customer. When they arrived they had been smoking some kind of pot and they didn’t load the container right and they damaged several pieces of furniture and two class lamps were broken. Very disappointed with PODS THIS TIME. I will not recommend them.

Horrendous. Decided to give me a PODS with a soft plastic roof, stacked other PODS on top therefore broke, causes water damage and cracks in most of my things. Customer advocacy department is a nightmare to get a hold off, no updates on where pods was or delivery time. Customer service won’t help because I have to deal with customer advocacy department.

I wish I could give 0 stars. They completely screwed us over. We reserved our pod several months in advance to move across the country. They came to deliver the pod and apparently some power lines that hung over our driveway were slightly too low, so they just left and canceled our pod. They didn't even attempt to find another solution, despite us showing them another spot they could put it. They just canceled it immediately. We called to try to get them to deliver it again to another spot nearby, but they said too bad it was already canceled, and the soonest they could deliver it was a week later. Which was after our scheduled flights (also scheduled months ahead of time) and after we had to be out of our apartment. Absolutely unacceptable customer service, don't risk your move by booking with them.

We absolutely loved our experience using PODS. The only issue was the labor they recommend. We used the "Most Experienced" labor force they listed. The labor was terrible. Couldn't fit 1 small 1 bedroom 760sq ft house in the largest PODS container. They didn't use the supplied ratchet straps. And it took them 11 hours to pack the above house and a 20x24' garage, which they didn't get everything loaded into its own large POD. Then they left before the job was done, leaving us with an extra 2200 mile trip to return to gather the rest of our stuff. Not to mention storing it for a month and the hassles that come with that. Also broken items that had heavy stuff packed on top of them even with a walk through and marked boxes. Really wish PODS had their own labor force and/or vetted their outsourced labor better.

The Pod itself is what it is-a cube with a rolling door. No issues with that. However, we ordered the POD for store some office furniture while we renovate. We were asked our business hours, which we told them Mon-Fri 6:00am-5:00 BUT because we park our trucks in the yard when our employees return, we need to have the POD delivered before 3:00pm, that noon would be best. We then receive an email confirming delivery between 1:30-4:30. So that’s when it becomes frustrating. Trying to call them and get through their “vetting” process. First it’s all automated, so you have to listen to all the options before you are placed on hold for what seems like hours but really is about 15-20 minutes. Only to be told to “hold on” and another 10-15 minutes goes by and then an agent says, "Ok, we’re canceling the 1:30-4:30 appointment and scheduling you in for 12:30pm."
So the following day, out trucks are gone, we have the entire yard empty (no personal vehicles parked) and wait, and wait, and wait. At around 1:00pm I start calling and once again have to go through their “vetting” process over the phone, only to get frustrated with their automated system-which doesn’t have any “easy” option to get a representative on the line. Another half hour process for someone to tell me, "We’re trying to reach the warehouse, we’ll call you back."
An hour goes by-now it’s 2:00pm, and no one has called back. Once again we have to call and go through their ridiculous automated system. Finally we get someone on the line who says “hold on, I’ll check where the driver is”. We find out he’s in Brooklyn (NY) on his way back to the warehouse in Jamaica (NY). Where he then has to get the POD loaded onto the truck. They tell me “figure 4:00 by you”. So at 4:00 our trucks start coming back and we have to keep them in the street, double-parked, blocking traffic. I can’t tell you how many phone calls were made between 4:00 and 6:00pm before the driver called to say he was on the way. He arrived at 7:30pm! Not the driver's fault who was very professional, but at 8:00pm we’re parking our trucks. At this point we’ve been on site for 14 hours. It’s definitely time to go home.
I can only tell you that when it was time for them to pick up the POD-although it did not take as many phone calls, once again it was a frustrating experience trying to get them to pick up. First they needed the order number before they would talk to me. So trying to find an email that was 11 months old was not easy. You would think they’d find my order using a phone number, or name or address-but No-only with an order number. Then they say we owe them an additional $700+ when I know we’ve been on “auto pay”. Turns out they upgraded their system and hadn’t gotten the last 2 payments. But of course this wasn’t said at first-they kept telling us we owed them for 2 months. I hung up on them all frustrated and called back the following day.
Finally this rep explained that their system had been updated and we were not billed. Then trying to get them “locked” into a time 8:00am-3:00pm when we would have the yard empty so they can pick up. Eventually we had it picked up. Once again the driver was very professional but dealing with them over the phone-forget it. Would I use them again? I’d have to be very desperate.

All of the delivery drivers was nice and concerned even they had to move the pod around. Always called before they showed up even they were picking up. We used PODS to store personal belongings/furniture while selling our current home and moving into another. The sale closing timing was delayed and the move was already underway. PODS delivered quickly and the driver/rep was professional and helped with recommendations. We loaded, stored and unloaded our goods when the closing took place allowing for the move in. Much easier and efficient than renting a storage site. Pick up went as planned.

Working with PODS was a great experience. We needed to pack up my mother's house and bring some of her belongings north. It was easy to set up the deliver of the POD to her house. It arrived on time for us to pack and load. Several days later, they picked up the POD, trucked it north, and stored it until the winter weather broke and we could get it delivered to be unloaded. It took a week for them to return and remove the POD. I would have been happier to get it out of the driveway in less time as we could not use the driveway or get the car out of the garage. All in all, it was a great experience, and we would use them again. The costs were reasonable. They did exactly what we needed them to do, were easy to work with, and continued to stay in contact with us.

Quick and easy drop off and pick up. I needed a pod to store my shop in while I renovated my shop this year. It handled all my shop Tools and storage in my shop. Pods performed well with the shipping of the container and arriving on time. What they didn’t do was honor a 20% coupon that I had and not only did they not accept the coupon they charged me more to ship to Florida then for me to ship from Florida to New York. It was 40% more to ship from New York to Florida then to go the other way, which is price gouging because they can. I would never use pods again in the future based on their price structure.

Our experience with PODS was great. Booking was easy. I did it online. The site wouldn't let me change from one pod to two, but I called and they were super friendly and helpful. We had two large containers. They weren't enough, but it wasn't anybody's fault but our own. The movers estimated and it was close. I had to get a small rental space for some excess things. Otherwise, it was perfect. The delivery and the drop-off were flawless. The cost for storage was expensive compared to others, but you pay for quality.

I'm using PODS for storage and they were good. I live in Oklahoma and I'm a 100% disabled vet, so I'm tax exempt. It's just I couldn't get through their head that I shouldn't be paying sales tax on the top. It's almost indifferent. The person who came to set it up was outstanding. The manager over there is outstanding. The guy that came and picked the pod up was good. It was on a Saturday. You could tell he had a plate full because he was in a hurry. Overall, the local people were great. They were nicer over in Florida. They were respectful. We had a communication problem, but it's all right. I would recommend them any time. I will use them again if I need to.

The POD itself is excellent but it is hard to get a total cost invoice from customer service for insurance reasons. The agent did not provide good service and blamed it on his computer. I would definitely use the service again and tell people to do the same. The POD delivery was really excellent and it worked well.

I moved from San Diego California to High Point, North Carolina and I have to say by far PODS was absolutely amazing. Saved me over $10,000 going with them versus a traditional moving company. All my belongings arrived undamaged the customer service and the delivery men were absolutely amazing and friendly. I highly recommend them and would do it all over again.

The Pods were delivered on time at my old home, but I was told from the description of a 3 bedroom home to only order one large pod, it turned out NOT to be enough. We packed everything very well as per instructions. Then we ordered 2 small ones because one small one wouldn't have been enough. So I spent more $$$ than expected. It would have been better if the employee at PODS would have suggested 2 large pods. Then it was delivered to my new address very nicely. The locks I bought from you with a key, had an issue but we finally opened them.

We had a great experience all around from customer service to cross country shipping of the pod. PODS gave us plenty of notifications and the pod shipped so fast! Very happy with the whole PODS experience, I would definitely use pods again and I have told all my friends and relatives to use pods instead of a u haul. Price was a little expensive but I would go across country any other way. Should be a little cheaper, but I am a satisfied user of pods.

We needed to clear out our home for selling but couldn't bring our items to our new home yet so this perfect to have in our driveway till it was time for it to be picked up. The communication was amazing for drop off and pickup/drop off. Both drivers were incredibly kind and friendly! Our pickup driver took amazing care in picking up the Pod and getting it all ready for its trip! I watched the whole thing and was shocked at the attention he took! Every part of this experience was great and eased so much of our stress!

The only thing that was annoying was the $137 pickup fee wasn't in the original. That is because, if I have the pod for longer, I would be charged more. Because PODS would give me a price, and I would have to add on $137 to get the total price if I wanted it for a month. I had to pay attention to all of the prices so I knew the total price versus what seemed to be the total price, but it wasn't the total price because I compared PODS versus U-Haul. Other than that, the reps were all very nice. And it was easy to change the date of when I wanted to pick up or drop off. It could be dropped off or picked up without me home, which is lovely. That billing was easy. I would recommend the experience.

My husband was clearing out his brother's house and moving some of the stuff to where we live in New York. So, he went to PODS and filled an 8 x 10 pod. It worked very smoothly and it was great. Also, the machine is an amazing structure that pulls the pod up and onto the truck and then becomes part of the truck.

PODS was the most economical way to make the move and we rented a pod. You're able to set the date for them to drop off the pods and pick them up. The movers moved it from Illinois to North Carolina. Then, they dropped it off at our house in North Carolina. It was a positive experience.

In April of this year, I used PODS's smallest pod to move. It was fine for what I needed but you have to be able to gauge your stuff and know how to freight load a 3D space, understand vibration and what you're putting in there so that there's no damage to your stuff on the other side. Depending on what season it is, there's no climate control on those things. But in a world of bad customer service, PODS was excellent. They always answer their phone quickly with a human who knows exactly what's going on. As long as you know your account number, you can get very succinct information. Compared to their web tools, I have better time on the phone with them.

My experience was great. I was moving to a temporary location then I was gonna move later out of state to a permanent location. By being able to have the pod there in my front yard, we were able to, at leisure, put everything in. We did not have to involve a whole lot of other people and make multiple trips to some place to drop stuff off. When we got everything in, we called PODS, and they picked the pod up. We went to our temporary location and didn't have to worry about the pod in a safe location. Once we got to our permanent location, we called PODS and they delivered it.

PODS fulfilled the need that we had and the process was very smooth. I simply called and made a schedule to have the pod delivered after we discussed cost and for how long we would need the item stored. We had one minor snag in one of the phone calls though. I encountered a representative who didn't speak very good English. But the person was very kind and we worked through it. I had at first ordered a small pod but my husband said it wouldn't be big enough. We changed it to a larger one and, as it turned out, we could have gone with the smaller one. It looked like it had been used, but it was in good shape. It was delivered promptly, and they kept it. When the time came for us to have it returned, they brought it promptly and everything was perfect. The price was very appropriate as well. I will use them to move to my next home.

We rented a storage unit from PODS and used it for two years. The prices started out okay, but they were going up as we went along and I wasn't aware of the charge at the end to pick it up. Other than that, I would recommend them. They are very nice people and deliver everything on time. They were very careful of where they put it down and when they took it away, they were very careful as well.

Dear PODS, Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Unresolved Refund and Collection Issue. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the service I have received from PODS. This letter outlines the series of events that have led to my complaint and the subsequent emotional and financial distress caused by your company. On April 20, 2024, I returned the PODS unit to your facility. Despite the return, I was charged for services that were never provided. When I contacted your customer service to request a refund, my request was ignored until my spouse and I took to social media to voice our concerns. Only then did I receive a response promising two refund cheques. However, these cheques did not cover the total amount charged.
Despite my dissatisfaction, I agreed to accept the partial refund to resolve the matter. Three weeks passed without receiving the refund payments. Consequently, I escalated the issue to PayPal and disputed the claim. PayPal ruled in my favor, acknowledging that no product or service was provided and that funds were unjustly taken from my account. To my utter disbelief, six weeks later, I received an email from PODS stating that my account was being sent to collections for the disputed amount. PODS claims this is because a refund was issued in addition to the PayPal dispute resolution. However, I have informed your representatives more than twenty times that I never received the refund cheques. This assertion leads me to believe that the cheques were never actually sent.
Furthermore, the entire experience with PODS has been riddled with issues, from rodents in the PODS unit to the unjust charges, harassment, and manipulation. The lack of professionalism and integrity demonstrated by PODS has caused significant emotional distress. I am requesting immediate action to resolve this issue.
Specifically:1. Confirmation in writing that my account is not being sent to collections and that this matter is resolved.
2.A formal apology for the inconvenience and distress caused by your company's actions.
Should this issue not be resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to seek legal advice and consider further actions, including but not limited to reporting this matter to consumer protection agencies and pursuing additional social media awareness campaigns. Sincerely, Krystal

I have just received another phone call from pods. Telling me that I still owe you money? I am really upset that you guys are continuing to harass me and cause me intense anxiety. I am still waiting for a response from this complaint, and the various other emails and phone calls that I made 2 weeks ago regarding this. None of which have been responded to at this point.
This needs to be resolved and rectified immediately! Your company is continuing to harass me, causing emotional turmoil, undue stress and anxiety. I have done nothing wrong to your company. You stole money from me, and claimed to have sent me refund checks which I never received both of. So, I contacted my bank, reported your fraud and provided them all emails, receipts and ALL THE DETAILS from this situation. The BANK sided with me, agreed you were in the wrong and stole my funds without authorization. They issued me a full refund, which now you claim I owe you. The BANK sided with ME for a reason.
I demand PODS to initiate immediate action to resolve this issue. Specifically:1. Confirmation in writing that my account is not being sent to collections and that this matter is resolved. That I WILL NOT be contacted by PODS and harassed anymore.

My favorite part of the experience was the communication. Each time we made an adjustment, an agent meticulously and patiently explained every detail. He was very thorough so we knew every price, date, etc. When the POD was delivered or retrieved, there was a 30-40 advance call so we could be prepared. They accommodated our varying drop off locales.

I recently had a frustrating experience with PODS. The first pod we received smelled like mothballs, so we rejected it, which delayed our packing by four days while waiting for a new one. Although I was told it would take 10 days for our pod to arrive, both pods sat in the warehouse for four days before leaving. They would have been behind schedule, but I noticed the delay and called to expedite them.
There were significant delivery issues. I was not informed until after the first pod was delivered that they only deliver and pick up from my area on Tuesdays to Thursdays. Consequently, the pod sat by the road for seven days, resulting in a fine. For the second pod, scheduled for a Wednesday delivery and Thursday pick-up to avoid further fines, we took time off work. However, they called Wednesday morning to reschedule for Thursday, and the pick-up couldn't happen until the following Tuesday. This caused us to lose two days of income and incur another fine.
When I filed a claim, PODS denied it, stating that expediting the delivery to meet their original timeline meant I couldn't claim for the delays, income loss, and fines. The customer service was disappointing, with representatives reading from scripts and refusing to transfer to a manager. Communication barriers made the process even more difficult. If I hadn't been vigilant about tracking my pods, I could have incurred further fees due to their poor communication and hidden fees. Overall, my experience with PODS was highly unsatisfactory.

I reserved a PODS container to arrive weeks ago on Saturday. It did not show up!!!! They did not even call me. I called them three times during the day to ask when the container was coming. Up until my last call they were telling me that it was on its way and then they told me that the driver had difficulty in finding my place so I gave them more precise directions. Still, nobody showed up! The driver never called me, so I do not believe that they sent my container. During my last call at 9 pm, they finally confessed that my container was not coming and it would come on Wednesday earliest as they do not work on Sundays and they did not work on Monday as it was Memorial Day!!!
Well, I was flying abroad on Monday and did not get my container to move my stuff. It was a terrible experience, I started crying on the phone and all they could tell me was to call another company rather than resolving my problem. This is unacceptable. It is highly unprofessional. People rely on the reservations they make with this company and they simply do not show up without even an excuse. No compensation for the stress and inconveniences that they caused either. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I am using PODS for the first time. The booking of a 16 foot unit seemed easy enough. I booked this request over a week in advance. A confirmation of my order was sent to my email a few days prior to scheduled drop off. The PODS website is suppose to provide updates of the ETA for the drop. I never saw any updates reflect time of any estimated drop off. I made a call to the PODS company and spoke with a live agent. I was then told that a driver is en route. Waited for a few hours and called again for the website had no ETA updates. The live agent stated that the driver should be arriving by 3:45PM. That time came and gone. I made a third call and again spoke to a live agent and discovered that a route to drop off the unit did not appear to be active in the system. As a result, the agent rescheduled me for a Monday drop off in the event the POD never showed up previously scheduled. This is not okay!
My movers arrive on Monday morning but no Storage unit to put all of my home furnishings and household items. I am not happy about this at all! The only saving grace will be that the POD arrives before my movers do on Monday Morning, June 10th. I suggest that you get confirmation of order triple times at least a few days prior to drop off day. So now I am praying that the notes from the agent working with me made it clear that I was a dissatisfied customer will be reviewed early enough for a unit to be expedited to the requested drop off location first thing on Monday morning BEFORE movers arrive at 9AM.

I know I had a difficult location to drop the POD off at the house I was selling. The driver definitely did his best to place it as close to the front of the house as possible. Dropping the POD off at the new location was an easier task for him. Also the company worked with me as I had to change dates around to deal with the closings. Everything went extremely well.

Overall service and availability were excellent. A person answered the phone every time I called and gave me the answers to my questions. Truck drivers each time were helpful, polite, and professional and most importantly safe. I would recommend to anyone and comment that the overall value of my experience was excellent. This was the first time I used PODS for a move. And, it was the longest distance ever - Ft Myers, FL to Sun City West, AZ!!

I have used PODS for two moves. Overall, it is a good option for loading, storing and delivering your household goods. The only downsides are having to work around their schedule since they don’t transfer pods every day and secondly, it is easy to get the door stuck during transfer and not easy to find the problem and get access to it.

We had two pods and there were two drivers on each end so there was a total of four drivers. Three of them were good but one of them was a mess. The base got detached on one of the pods so they had to take that out of service. When they move the pod, Podzilla is the machine that picks it up and puts it on the truck. The driver raised the pod with the Podzilla and kept trying to back underneath it, but the bottom of the pod was on the ground, so he couldn't get the truck to go over the bump. It had some height to it. He kept accelerating hard and digging a hole in the ground with the pliers. I told him to stop and just move the pod out. He did that four times and was doing ramming speed, trying to bump over the part versus moving the pod. It was already hooked up to the Podzilla and it dug a big hole. And the guy that dropped it didn't have a problem. I would never use PODS again. The price was actually higher than quoted by $400.

I was moving across country and PODS was recommended by a friend so I thought it would be a good idea to use them. I started my booking online and it was easy. I booked the smallest container and it was perfect. The condition was good and the delivery was great. They gave me a timeframe and the guy was there within that timeframe. He took it off the thing and set it up. Everything was perfect with PODS and I would recommend them. It's so convenient and it's worth it.

We moved from Florida to Columbus, Ohio. Everything went very well. Pod was delivered to our Florida House on time. Pods notified us when is was coming. We called them to pick it up also on time. Very good driver both ways! They stored the Pod close to the place we were building so when we needed it was delivered. Nice thing was it was stored inside as we need to store it for forty five days. When we opened the Pod everything was in place and as we had packed it.

I used PODS this spring. It was very easy to order and get dropped off. Scheduling pick up was very easy to do as well all through the website. The only issue I had. I needed the unit a couple more days longer than the month I had originally booked. They have no way to prorate the unit 1 day or 30.. Same price? Seems that since you pay for delivery and pickup you should be able to pay for partial months?.

When called to drop box at 7530 hart drive. And was told would need 124. And a lil over so. Left 125$ with brothers law when they dropped. Then took a 124 dollars and a lil bit for final payment. And brothers law heard someone say a heck of a tip. When he gave them the money I was told that was to be last payment.

It is always refreshing to have a company done exactly as needed in the situation. I had to move my dad's house to my new home. It was a cross state move. I called PODS and they were able.to set everything up. My family loaded the pod and I unloaded it at the new location. PODS is a good company and very reliable. Booking with them online was easy and they delivered the pod easily as well. I didn't have to be home. Everybody communicated well. They talked us through how to pack all our stuff and how to close the door. The only thing was when I requested it to be picked up, they didn't have any dates available before my ending date so I had to pay double. They said that because it fell after the month, I had to repay it.

The only thing we took a little bit of an issue with was we thought we were getting an 8 x 8 container, but it was 7 x 7 feet. The delivery man said that that was just how they are now. He said they don't actually have 8 x 8, and that they're 7 x 7. But the delivery guys were really great. They were really good at driving and parking the pod and putting it on my property. All in all, PODS is convenient and affordable, and it's easy to book one. We've already recommended them to neighbors that we see when we're out walking.

I had a wonderful experience with PODS. It was very professional. They kept us up to date on every move from moving from one site to another and when it arrived at its next stop. They were right on time with the pickups and drop-offs. I was very impressed. Also, their website was very good and very easy to use. I made an initial call to set everything up, but after that, we just used the website because everything was updated right away.

Pods is great if you know exactly what you need. If you have a pod for 3 days and change your mind, you are stuck paying the whole month. They are not flexible whatsoever, you pay the whole month no matter what. Moving is stressful enough, I wish they were more understanding. I had no problem paying for the time I had it, just wished partial refunds were an option. Customer service is lacking.

I needed somewhere to store my items while I build a new home and booking with PODS was relatively simple. They reached out to make sure everything was good and most of the time, I didn't have to talk to a call center. Their emails were sufficient and very well written. The website had everything listed and let me know exactly when things were going on. Also, the drivers were good. They called me when they were nearby to make sure that everything was good.

Worse experience ever! PODS over promises and under delivers. We had to change where we ended up moving which was still less than 2 hours from where we left and PODS absolutely refused to honor the drop off saying we live in an area they don't service but funny part is, I pass there trucks almost daily going through my new area. So much for their commercial that states "we pick up and will deliver local OR long distance". Had numerous conversations with "customer service" and they would not work with us in any manner to resolve the situation through a compromise. We had to go back to the Pod facility with a moving truck and unload our Pod and reload a truck and drive it to our new home. Costing us double... Pods made no attempt whatsoever to help with any part of the unload/reload and the person at the facility was extremely rude and condescending. Avoid Pods at all costs!!!

Very good service and courteous crew. However, the full house move is not enough in one largest container. I should have evaluated or get advise. I had to hire labour to load and unload stuff. Overall, it was a good experience. Thank you so much!

When pricing various options to move between states, PODS came in only a few hundred higher that others. What sold us, was that the POD could be dropped off a week or so prior and we could load at our own timeframe. We would not need to drive the POD across states and it would be delivered with ease and we could take our time unloading as well. Using PODS helped make our move easier and our items were cared for the whole time.

PODS are great for long distance moves. Customer service and surprised charges...not so great. Schedule a move from Indiana to North Carolina. My housing fell through so I ended up in a town 21 miles south of originally planned. Pods doubled my fee because of the change. I had no choice but to pay because they had all my stuff. They delivered it on the 21st. On the 22nd I went to schedule the empty pickup, the 30th was the only available day. Since my monthly renewal was the 26th, they charged me another $341 since the pick up was schedule for the 30th. $341 for 4 days and an empty trailer because they couldn't pick it up. So make sure you save all your nickels and dimes because they will take them.

There are many good things with PODS (and some not so good – read on). I have had containers delivered to 3 homes and 1 PODs yard now for 3 different moves. Their customer service line is great, the drivers that drop off and pick up the PODs are great, their communications via texts and e-mails are great, their reliability to their promised time schedule is great, and their containers are great.
PODs Pricing: Have done two moves between Phoenix AZ and Milwaukee WI – with an 8-foot POD – each move was ~$3200 (~1770 miles). Did one move from Boston MA to San Diego CA with a 16-foot POD, this move was ~$6200 (~3000 miles). On my 4th POD quote - this is where pricing did not make any sense. Quote was for a 8-foot POD from San Diego CA to Phoenix AZ (~350 miles), a fraction of the distance of my prior moves (and a small 8-foot POD) – and the quote for this move was ~$2700 – very high. I ended up renting a nice U-Haul truck here for ~$500 – a much better value for my money. For my most Recent PODs move, used one of PODs recommended PODs loading partners – Bellhop, not so great. Bellhop no-showed the day of our PODs loading, but AOA Moving Services out of Boston came to the rescue and sent me a crew in 3 hours on the same day – Thanks Guys!
Just a note on Bellhop – they have some concerning disclaimer language in their ~30 pages of fine print, and this line was the most concerning quote from their fine print: “By ordering and/or receiving the services, you acknowledge that you may be exposed to situations involving third party providers that are potentially unsafe, offensive, harmful, or otherwise objectionable and that the use of third party providers through the bellhop platforms is at your own risk and judgment”. Well, I will let you make your own opinion of this statement. For me, since this was my daughter’s move, I took it as seriously as it sounded. So, I went to my daughter’s home as added security just in case there was going to be someone that was going to be “unsafe, offensive, or harmful”.

If I could get Pod’s negative stars I would. I initially booked my container delivery Two months out over the phone. I was already skeptical because they don’t give you an actual invoice with the prices, they just tell you the prices over the phone and you book over the phone because that’s the only way I was able to receive the 25% discount. Every time I spoke with someone the price will increase, and I will have to refer back to my initial booking price. Luckily, I taken note of all of those things so I would know with the correct prices were or I would’ve been taken advantage of and spent way more money. I called to follow up and unable to get anybody who is familiar with my order.
I look online with the information that I took down and I can’t find my order. It’s because the man took down my email wrong. Fast forward I end up having a duplicate order with all of the incorrect email stuff happening so I called to get that canceled and the end I was making a new order for me but with the wrong size Pod which is $2000 more expensive so I have to call back and get that fixed and then because there’s still a duplicate order on my account. They charge my card for $5000 and then the day before my move after talking to them on the phone multiple times during the day after I finally went to sleep after being up all night at work and then on the phone with them for hours trying to get my order straightened out someone randomly calls me I finally go to bed and then my order is canceled the day before my move because they say it is a street delivery, even though they will be dropping it off In my backyard.
I explained in detail when I booked where the drop-off point was and they said they could accommodate. Probably with all the errors in the order process and issues my delivery instructions got lost in the shuffle getting passed around to different customer service agents just to fix simple issues. Everyone was kind but that doesn’t really matter if you can’t get anything done correctly.
I tried to call back to rectify the situation but of course, the department that I need to contact cannot be reached, it would not be available until after Memorial Day weekend. Be wary of PODS and their business practices. It is likely more of a headache than anything else you’ll experience. I’m glad I never end up giving them a possessions and hopefully, this refund process will not be as big of a headache as just trying to get them to pick up my belongings.

Admittedly, I was a skeptic. Read every review. Was nervous about using PODS to move as my belongings would leave my sight. Well, I took the leap and cannot say enough great things about my experience. From delivery to pickup, it could not have gone better. Each of the 4 people I dealt with dropping off or picking up were so incredibly skilled, friendly, and helpful. My new residence was tricky in terms of space. They nailed it! I needed their container for moving and I booked over the phone. Scheduling was an issue, but there was flexibility there and it was excellent with the driver. They let me know when they were coming, when they dropped it off, and when they took it away. The whole experience was positive and it worked out well.

Both of the drivers were very professional, and knew how to do what they did. They were awesome. The professionalism of the drivers and also that contraption that they used to move the POD was a blessing. The contraption picks up the pod off the truck and sets it down and it is such a wonderful thing. My neighbor was moving at the same time, and he ended up getting a pod from the PACK-RAT, and they didn't have that Spider. So they had to put his in at an angle on top of the grass at this condominium. He had to get approval to put it in. Where PODS came in, the communication was great as far as making sure that the parking space next to it so that you can make sure that it get in.

When it was time to schedule the delivery of our POD back to our house to unload, I called two days before the scheduled date and asked if I could request a delivery time before 1:00 pm, as I was hiring people to unload and carry our items into the house. I was told yes by customer service, and was even sent an email confirmation on a modification to my account. At no time was I told they couldn't honor a scheduled window request.
Then the day before the delivery date I received an email letting me know my delivery window was 1-4 pm, although the automatic answering computer said my window was 2:30 - 5:30. When I first called, they acknowledged I had called on Wednesday but said they couldn't change my delivery time of 2:35 despite my documented request. I then called back and had to spend over an hour on the phone, insist they speak to the facilities manager, and was only able to get them to move up my window to 1:52 (and of course the driver was late so the POD didn't come until 2:15 and then the POD was facing the wrong direction on the truck despite the correct directions on their form). This is despite living only 30 minutes from the storage facility.
We paid thousands of dollars to this company. If I had known they couldn't honor a delivery window request I would have made other arrangements for the unloading but I believed them when they said they could. And simply can't believe they wouldn't fix their own documented error. My mistake. In the end it was after 2:30 before the POD was finally in our driveway. I definitely won't use them again and strongly urge you to stay away unless you have maximum flexibility and can just cater to their actual schedule regardless of what they say.

Booking online was super easy and I was kept well-informed. I got the 18x8x8 container and it was in good condition. The driver was awesome. They were very good at using the Quadzilla, putting it where we needed. They didn't rock it around. It was the same guy who delivered and picked it up in PA. But both drivers were awesome. Everything worked out well and I would use PODS again. It's very affordable. Within the market, it's one of the cheaper options and very user-friendly.

All the drivers were very good. There was one woman in Connecticut who was really exceptional. If this is something you think you can do, then you should investigate it. My wife and I thought we could do a pod. It did not turn out to be appreciably cheaper than the shipping. But we had a lot more control over it because we could do it in stages. My wife says that if we could make one suggestion to the people at PODS, they should have a lot more tiedown's. Inside of the containers, there are little tie-down clips so you can tie down some of your property and there should be more tie-downs available so that you can keep the stuff from moving forward. Also, when you close the door, if all the stuff shifts, it shifts against the door and it's almost impossible to get open. So they should have plenty of tie-downs or some mechanism that, just before you shut the door, you could tie everything down so it cannot rest against the door.

I got the largest container that PODS had and I moved it across the country and it was an easy move. We needed it at a certain time in Michigan and it arrived and we loaded the thing, and then the next thing we knew, it was in Chandler, Arizona, and we left it in storage for three years. We only went down there a couple of times to get some things or put some of our things in the unit, and that was an easy task. But I didn't like the cost at all. I didn't really like the $300 a month that I was paying for storage. It wasn't the cheapest thing around, but, it was less expensive than hiring a mover to move across country. But overall, I'm pleased with them. This was, by far, the most reasonable and convenient thing we could do. I'd use them again.

The drivers were both very nice. They wanted to know specifically where I wanted to drop the pod at when they first delivered it in Oceanside and when they dropped it off here in Texas. They were on time as well. The pod was clean. I was concerned about moisture but when I unloaded it, it was still dry and I was happy with that.

I'd recommend PODS. This is the third time I've used their service and for the most part, everything was fine. During the pickup, the driver was very personable. We had a pleasant chat. However, the pod's door was sticky and the latch was difficult to maneuver. I'm in a wheelchair so I can't get the leverage one would need to do certain things. Instead of it sliding easily, I had to exert a lot of effort.

PODS is easy to deal with. I called them and spoke to a gentleman. He set me up and priced everything out. Once I got the okay to close, I called back and spoke to another gentleman. He brought up my file and got the account going. He walked me through the website and made sure I was in and changing things. He also made sure I had moving blankets, bubble wraps, cardboards, and extra locks. It was easy to get through everything, using the online prompts. The pod was clean, very well put together and maintained. I was more worried about my personal belongings getting the pod dirty than the pod causing any damage. Logistically, PODS was the best route to go. I could store things, move things, and get it dropped back off. There was no deadline. It was cheap and convenient to keep the unit for month to month. Everybody was great especially the drivers. They suggested better places to put the pod for long-term positioning at the new property.

PODS' customer service was outstanding. The assistant manager, Rich, was extremely helpful. There were a couple of things that happened and he stepped up. After the pod had been at the house, they moved it to their storage facility in Wethersfield. They loaded it even further afterwards. They would bring it out and I could put more things in it. The driver who did the pickup at the place in Connecticut was very helpful as well. The driver down in Tennessee had to wiggle things a little bit. The driveway was dirt with a little bit of gravel. He positioned the pods that it was right next to the garage entrance where I could move everything right into the house. The cost was expensive, but it was worth it. I could have done it cheaper a different way but the convenience more than made up for it.

Both the move out & into their residence went great. Each time the driver was very helpful. The only hiccup was the folks we spoke with on the phone to set up the return of their items were not on the same page with the company itself. They were unaware of the new rules in place dealing with dropping off the pod. Wasn't a big set back, we didn't get overcharged because the computer recognized the mistake. All this was explained by the driver.

My experience has been great from the time they dropped the pod at my surrey BC address to the time they dropped the pod at my new address in Airdrie, Alberta. Everything has arrived safely. The cost was much less than a moving van. I will be recommending them to everyone who is planning a move.

Where do I begin? From beginning to end it was a nightmare. We the very beginning we were speaking to people living in other countries who could barely speak English. They somehow had opened several accounts for the same move. They had the wrong passcode and the wrong security word because of the language barrier. They misquoted us on several occasions and we ended up being charged more than the original quote! We scheduled a delivery and it was never entered into their computer and when we called to find out why we had not received a confirmation call they replied it was never entered in. I will NEVER use them again and do NOT recommend to anyone.

The move went well but I couldn't get an answer why my 2nd POD cost more than the first. It appeared to me that I didn't get my military discount on the second. The last person I talked to said she'd call back but didn't bother. I also had trouble understanding her due to her accent. All drivers were very professional and helpful.

I have used Pods twice. The first time I was moving across town in 2004 and PODS were a brand new option. The second was this year moving across the country. They hold so much stuff it amazed me both times. One of the best things about renting a POD is that I didn’t have to drive a 28 foot truck, towing my car, this time. Also, my schedule always seems to have glitches when I’m moving and they were extremely flexible about the drop off, pick up, and delivery schedule. The company was great about working with me which alleviated a lot of the stress involved in my move. I highly recommend using a PODS.

I was moving my family from SoCal to San Francisco and everything was going great until I found out some major issues. At no point was this communicated to me as a possibility, but after the pods were delivered and picked up to move to San Francisco, I received a phone call from the city about our permit for delivery being denied. This error COST ME aound $4,000 DOLLARS I did not budget for. I had 2 pods, and each pod had to be dropped off with a $1,500 fee and a 4 hour window. The driver just sat in the truck while I unloaded. I had to pay a task rabbit to help remove the items, because there was too much for one person to do in a 4 hour window. After everything, It was $3,000 more just for delivery, plus almost $1,000 for the movers to help me load everything in. How can something like this not be communicated while booking the pod that there may be additional fees? How was I supposed to know this.

We had a good experience and partnership with PODs using the first 2 PODs in February. But the experience with the 3rd and final POD was a very different and frustrating experience. We scheduled for the POD to be delivered Monday April 22. All other times the delivery and pickup occurred between 8 and 12:00 in the morning so we were expecting the same time. Long story short the POD did not arrive at our house until after 7:00 PM! And already getting dark outside. Upon looking at the inside of the POD we discovered it had NO hooks to attach our tie downs to in order to keep our stuff. So now we had to wait until the next morning for me to go buy my own hooks to install in your POD.
We called customer service and asked for a refund to cover the hardware I had to buy and time we lost by such a late delivery on Monday and having to spent time on Tuesday getting it suitable to pack. We were rejected from any service or reimbursement and said they could submit our complaints to corporate office but it will take 5 business days to get a response. That is unacceptable!!!
The next morning we received an email from customer service that their representative did nothing wrong and they are closing our request. So nothing was done to satisfy us as an upset customer and we were still charged full price for the delivery, transportation and pickup for this defective POD. Needless to say we will not use PODs again nor will we recommend anyone else to use PODs. It did not have to be handled this way!

We were impressed that both drivers were so nice and professional - they maneuvered the POD into a tight place and got it out! The POD was clean and waterproof and held everything we needed while the basement was remodeled. The service was on-time and flawless - we will use them again when we remodel the upstairs!

PODS made my life so much easier! I ended a 12 year chapter in my life and started a new one and PODS helped with my transition and made things so much easier! Not having to worry about moving all of my belongings was a godsend. Once the POD was filled I literally got in my vehicle and started my journey back to Michigan.

Scheduling was done easily over the phone. Container was delivered and picked up on time and efficiently. Visits to my container to load more items or take some out while it was in storage were easy to schedule. Only drawback is not being able to access it on a Sunday. ALL employees that I encountered were friendly and helpful. The container was clean and secure. All my items were in good condition when the container was delivered to my new house.

My wife and I had a great experience with PODS. Both drivers were very courteous and knowledgeable and all of our items arrived undamaged on a long distance move from Florida to Virginia. I booked the service on-line via PODS' chat and everything was simple and was set up easily and quickly. And, I really appreciated being kept updated through the entire move experience with both emails and texts. Thanks PODS!! :-)

Everything about MyPODS was very easy from setting up the initial account to having my pod picked up. Delivery of the pod was easy, very friendly and professional and clean and upon returning the gentleman was very professional and friendly. The pod was clean with no damage. Thank you my pods.com.

PODS was there when I needed them after Hurricane Ian and set up was easy. However, after a leak in the room destroyed many of my possessions it was VERY hard to contact them regarding the claim. Contacting a living person is nearly impossible. I had to act like I was setting up a new POD to speak with a living person. Their 3 contact numbers are a hamster wheel of options! They claimed that turned down insurance on the POD but could not provide proof and only paid me 1/4 of the value of my possessions.

We had our own loaders and we filled two 16' pods. The PODs were in storage two weeks until our house closed. The PODs were then moved 3,000 miles, delivered as scheduled, with nothing missing or broken. Very efficient. We recommend PODs and would definitely use them again if we ever move again.

We had an excellent experience and I would highly recommend using PODS. Delivery to our home was excellent. The driver put the pod exactly where we needed it. We loaded it and it’s was picked up timely. Delivery to our new location was great. We unloaded it faster than we thought. They adjusted their schedule and picked it up early as requested. Great way to move!

I had a very positive experience using PODS. I was hesitant to use such a large company to transport my items such a long distance, I typically use U-Haul and do things myself, but every step of the process with PODS was smooth, professional, and transparent. The first rep I spoke to to get a quote was friendly and knowledgeable. It was really easy to create an online account to track my invoices and order history. The scheduled drop-offs and pick-ups were always on time. I was very impressed with each of the drivers calling to ask questions in regards to location of the drop-offs as well and providing their estimated arrival times.
As someone who appreciates clear communication and transparency, the reminder texts/emails and service window timeframes that came via email the evening before a service were great. None of my items were damaged in the move either. A few shifts in the boxes, etc. but that is to be expected. I did not think I would be leaving such a positive review but it really was a great process and I would definitely use PODS again.

I had a very positive experience. It all went as described to me with just one minor glitch. One of the drivers didn't read the notes where the passcode for the gate was to enter my storage facility. Fortunately I was already waiting for him. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant and patient. You have an excellent staff.

I had a great experience with PODS. They dropped off the pods when I wanted it and picked them up when I wanted it and got them all the way from Arizona to Florida. It's fast and efficient. They work well.

I'm happy with PODS. They brought the container out. I loaded it up. They came and picked it up. It was set in storage for three years. Then they brought it back out. I unloaded it and they picked it up. I can't be happier. I'll recommend PODS. I'm a Realtor, so I'm happy to tell people about my experience. I'm glad they're there and I'm happy to use them any time.

All three of the PODS reps were great. They helped me out and allowed me to understand everything and how it works. I didn't know the dates and they explained it to me. They give you the date they pick up and what day the pod arrives. They also gave me great military discount. They had the least price that I received. The people who dropped off and delivered gave me the time and told me when they were coming. One guy was coming early and asked me if he could. I was very pleased with them. I still have stuff in New York and might need them again. My cousin did her move three weeks ago from Jersey to Florida. I told her to get PODS and she went for it.

I had $1400 worth of damage and PODS or Pack & Load who they recommended don’t want to know anything. The $10000 insurance that you say you have is worthless. The packers did a poor job of securing some items and piled heavy items on top of boxes marked fragile. And they claim no responsibility. Total farce. I would not use them again.

We suggest reaching back out to your point of contact at UNIRISC and asking them to reopen/re-investigate your claim. This was the third time we had rented from PODS and we were just as pleased with this rental as the others. The delivery and pick up of unit at the former and the new homes were on time, and placed exactly where we wanted them. The text message and email communications were perfect.

This was a horrible experience. They delivered a POD that was in poor condition. It leaked, had numerous patching jobs with tape and staples. In addition it had pungent moth ball smell that cannot be removed. It was not in a condition to be used for storage or shipping without risk of permanent damage to your items. There is clearly no quality control review on the boxes they ship out to be used. PODS still wants to charge you for storage, insurance, etc even though the box is not in usable condition. Their customer service is outsourced and difficult to get issues resolved. You can do better with other companies. I had used them in the past, but they have lost my business for good now.

After a successful move from MD, I decided to go with the same storage transportation company that moved me before. And once again I made a good decision by using PODS. All initial contact and arrangements were smooth and easy. Pick-up, the driver was supposed to call 30 minutes ahead of schedule. He called upon arrival, and waited only minutes before leaving as the gate was not opened immediately. This resulted in rescheduling and additional time with the POD in my HOA parking lot.

Pods came to my house during a remodel. They arrived when they said they would. I loaded the pod and they picked it up the next day. Everything came back with no damage. Pod was picked up the next day. The men dropping off the pod and picking it up were very skilled in moving the pod on to and off of our driveway, Everything went as expected..

Everything went well from ordering the pod on the phone to then changing the size on the phone. Pickup and drop off were all punctual. Very happy with the service. The pod was order to ship some furniture and personal items to my daughter. There were a couple of glass items that broke but for the most part all went well.

Clean PODS were delivered and picked up exactly when they said they would be on the move out end and on the move in end of our experience. The drivers were courteous and knowledgeable. Everything we could’ve asked for. We thought we would only need storage for a couple of months, but they were able to keep our belongings for nearly a year while we remodeled our home.

We rented two PODS after Hurricane Ian severely damaged a house we own. The staff from PODS was very professional. The PODS were delivered on the date and time we were given, the billing was always accurate, and the pick up of the PODS was smooth and timely. We also used PODS to pack the household items. They did a good job with the packing.

I had to wait almost 2 weeks for you taking the empty container. This cost me parking, unavailable to enter the garage a lot of inconveniences around. I was told that I'll get a refund. It never happened. Your agent was good when I did the reservation letter on he just didn't answer my calls. The drivers were excellent, very professional.

Recommend using this service. Drops/picks up on days you requested and around your schedule... weekends included! It was so simple to use. I did have some damage in the last move, (used PODS 2x back to back) but I have had damage when the regular truck movers moved me...again, recommend this service. Cheaper and easier than driving the truck cross country!

Great service and shows up when they say they will. Delivery driver was a great guy. Although this is my second time using Pods I probably won't use them again. They are very expensive for the service they provide. Remember all they provide is a pick up and delivery off a portable storage box. Nothing more.

Rapid service, great prices, love your website (really user friendly and I'm an engineer, understand user interfaces). It was easy to schedule, organize my payments, and when I no longer needed the pod, your folks were quick and professional in picking it up. We have a circular driveway which made it challenging for the drivers but they handled it like champs.

Scheduling was easy. Communication was great. Pricing was competitive. PODS containers were in good shape and clean at delivery. Transportation across country was quick and no damage to contents. Delivery drivers from Austin, TX and from Santa Maria, CA were top notch!! I will do business with PODS in the future due to the delivery drivers alone!

I like the PODS option for moving. It gives me control over how my stuff gets loaded and unloaded by groupings. The delivery and pickup process is smooth and you can unload at your pace. Each customer service representative was friendly and helpful. If you don’t mind doing the work to save some $$ & I would highly recommend.

When Jameson and Dustin showed up they were on time and very courteous and friendly. They very worked hard and very efficiently. They got their job done every quickly and on time. If I were to moving again, I would rehire Monterey Movers to load and unload. They the best And I have moved a lot.

We were moving and put our house up for sale so I needed the pod to put our packed boxes in for showings. They gave me a date and time and showed up exactly when they said. Then when I needed them to move the pod to new location they accommodated with the new time and pickup. Everything went as planned. I also needed a pickup time after I unloaded the pod. Called and pickup went as scheduled.
