Pod was clean and well maintained. Pod was delivered on time and placed exactly where I needed it. Pod was picked up on time. Ease of scheduling on line. They send plenty of notifications about delivery and pick up. Pricing was fair. Not one glitch in overall experience. Would highly recommend.

Everything from the start, from the gentleman I dealt with the whole way (Dale) thru the drivers that picked up and dropped off the pod, everything went very smoothly. I have used other companies before but PODS not only became more competitive with pricing against other companies, they exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend PODS for your next move!

Loved that I didn’t have to drive a truck with a trailer, and that I had 30 days at a time of storage built into the pod. I will say that there were numerous things broken in my pod, including an armoire and a TV, so they are a little rough when they travel, so pack tightly and protectively (even though I did this, still ended up with breakage). I do advise you to make sure that you can open your pod door before the delivery driver leaves, sometimes they shift in transit. Overall, I would still recommend PODS, it definitely made my life easier.

From start to finish PODS was excellent to work with. My first contact was with a person on the admin team who guided me to make a plan that would work best from a logistics perspective and also gave me the best price. The drivers were very professional and accommodating and always mindful of our property. The return drivers made sure we could open the doors which was helpful. We had 3 containers in storage in Fort Myers, FL for more than 6 months and everything worked out great. The web portal was easy to use to schedule the returns and we received confirmation calls from each driver ahead of their arrival. I would not hesitate to use PODS in the future.

Using PODS to store my belongings while doing a huge home renovation was the best decision I made - I ordered it, had it delivered on a day and time convenient to me, then picked up all with online transactions. Both the drop off associate and the pick up associate communicated when they were on their way to my home and put it exactly where I wanted it. I was able to make changes any day of the week, any time of the day... EASY PEASY.

I was very pleased with the service that I received. The email request was answered very promptly and the woman who assisted me was both pleasant to deal with and very thorough. The POD was delivered the next day and the driver was very helpful in placing it on the property where I requested. It was clean and operated well. Likewise I received pleasant and prompt service on the phone when it was time for it to be picked up. Again the driver was prompt, courteous, and careful when he retrieved the POD. I also wanted to mention that your online portal was convenient to use.

I used PODS storage container in 2 moves. Always on time, listened to me about the placement. After the move both time nothing was broken. First move only one box fell. The second something did fall against the door and the driver had a trick up his sleeve and the container was opened.

This process was super convenient and affordable! We were able to schedule everything easily online and the whole process went smoothly. I used PODS to store my furnishings for 2 years while I was looking to relocate to another state. I wanted my belongings in a climate controlled place and a dust free unit. I found that to be true when my POD container was unloaded. Also it simplified my move. It was pricey and I felt it took longer than it should have. I left 2 days after my POD and drove to TN from Reno and arrived 5 days before my POD. Even if they had another container on the truck, it just didn't make sense to me. Other than that it was nice unpacking my stuff without having to dust everything off.

We needed to have some short-term storage for a home remodel. Renting a POD allowed us to items on site but out of the areas that needed to be accessed by the various construction workers. The unit we rented was clean upon arrival and remained weather tight. Drop off was quick and easy so was the pick up.

Doing business with Paul was a good experience. The only thing I would change if I was the company was billing for a drop off and pick up. I got four bills for renting a pod, but everybody was very professional. The guys that picked it up and dropped it off with fantastic.

Seamless moving experience. Very professional driver. The POD was dropped off, picked up and delivered on-time. Reasonable cost compared to full service movers plus you are the only person that has the keys to the POD'S lock so your belongings are safe. Only think to be careful with is to make sure all items are secure so they don't move in transit and block you from opening the door.

I greatly appreciated the training of employees, they all were positive and delivered the same message, no confusion at anytime during all phases of the move. When I had to add an additional POD to our move, I felt like there was an expedited effort to satisfy my needs, all was taken care of without a change to delivery, amazing to me. At each phase of moving costs were highlighted and billing procedures were explained. Each time there was an interaction with employees, traffickers to truckers, all were courteous and friendly. Easily my wife could have handled the PODS move.

Excellent with every aspect of this service. Notified us of every move, sent reminders. We had a complicated move from TX to MN with 2 pods that shipped at different times. Pods is very organized and made it easy for all we had to do. Definitely will recommend. We dealt with 3 separate drivers and they were all great!

Drop offs and pick ups on time and reliable. Online service excellent and professional. Billing timely and accurate. Only criticism is initial contact via phone- agent struggled with English and seemed to be poorly prepared to set clients up with a POD. My husband and I had the same experience with the initial phone attempt.

Everyone at PODS was very helpful & courteous. From my initial contact via phone with the company rep to the delivery drivers who placed the empty and picked them up. It was extremely easy to work with this company. The unit was clean upon delivery to me and provided safe passage from Florida to Texas.

Salesperson in FL told us PODS would deliver anywhere in western NC if we shipped POD for storage to Asheville, NC. After we purchased a home, the Asheville PODS location informed us they would only deliver 50 mi from their facility. Offered to pay extra, they refused. Would not let us speak to a manager. Had to spend $1000 to rent a truck and hire 2 people to help us load from the POD and drive truck home. Charged us an additional $410 for another month of storage when we emptied POD within 10 days, no reimbursement for remainder of month. Poor customer service, unknowledgeable sales staff, unhelpful local staff. Do not use this company!

Drivers were polite and helpful. On time for both pick up and delivery. I moved small items and boxes with PODS but after the experience with moving large furniture and other items with a moving company, I wish I had done it all with PODS. I'd recommend PODS to anyone planning to move.

I had the POD for about a year, due to home remodeling. The only issue I had was on the day of the pick-up. I scheduled the pick up for 26 Nov 24. A time window of 8:30 am to 11:30 am was given. I had made plans for the afternoon after receiving the scheduled times. The driver, (Ed) did not arrive until 1:40 pm. Ed was very apologetic. He explained that his boss sent him on another job in Greensburg Pa., which is about one hour away. So the pick up window leaves little to be desired. So much for family plans for the day. Other than that, all was well.

I wanted the pick-up option and PODS was the only one I knew about who offered that. I spoke with a representative over the phone and I was able to complete my transaction. As far as the drivers, the only one I was here for was the drop-off and he was terrific. He was a very nice guy. Overall, my experience using PODS went without incident.

I called PODS and booked over the phone. I had trouble with the online booking. I tried to change something online and it never showed up. So I had to call in to change it. They asked me to fill out a thing and I did fill that out. The rep was very friendly and nice, but I could not understand her. We had a very, very, very difficult language barrier to get through because I could not understand half of what she said. But once we got there, she was very good with me and very patient. We worked through it. My husband was there for delivery. They pulled in and put it down exactly where we told them to and everything was good.
I would recommend PODS. The only thing was it was very difficult to get around the website. I could never find a statement. My husband probably has where we were billed and where the money was taken out, but I don't know that we ever received any kind of receipts or any kind of documentation. It was hard to find that information because it wouldn't cooperate. Our contractor moved our date back a week. So I had to change some things and I was not able to do it online.

The booking process was pretty easy. I called PODS right around dinnertime to tell them that I needed a pod and they offered me all the services that they have, including moving services and packing. They asked me where I was going, how far, whether it was in state or out of state, the distance, and how big of a house as far as the contents. They went through the different sizes. They told me all about the fees and everything else. It was all pretty transparent and upfront, which was nice. The delivery was great.
They notify you so many times that you have to be in a coma to not know it's coming. It's like they tell you three days out, and then one day out, then you get an email and a text message. But on the day of the delivery, the driver called, said, "Hey, I'll be there in an hour." And he showed up and he dropped the thing. They have that overhead lift that they use and it's fantastic. The only rub with the delivery was my driveway sloped to one side. So I had to jack the container up because the door wouldn't close. My driveway was pushing the container out of square.
As I started loading it, the low side, and then I pulled the roller door down and I was like, "That's a gap that a small dog could fit through." But not really. It was about an inch. It was right in the end of summer and the beginning of fall when the nights were starting to get cool. That's when the damn mice start looking for places to go. So I jacked it up and I threw a couple of pieces of wood underneath it to hold it up and to keep the container up, and it was fine.

I was satisfied with PODS. They were less costly than having a moving company that I previously used. Most of the time, I could handle the website okay. I started online and moved to phone. Also, the container was clean. The pod experience itself is good. However, the people that I used from Lima did not pack well. When they came to the house, they didn't have a dolly or any tools. I had a small plant dolly that they used. And my toolbox was out, so they were able to use that.
The movers were polite. But I had a box labeled with my lampshades in it, "Fragile." They put it on the bottom of everything and squashed my lampshades. They broke the top glass on my shelf thing. They scratched a table and a dresser. They had me get straps from the hardware and they didn't use them. So when my movers here unloaded, things fell out. I wouldn't recommend the people that I used in Lima, Ohio. But the PODS service itself was always on time. The guys were super polite. They made sure all the cars were moved out of the way so they could unload and load the pods.

The person I spoke to was nice and patient. She listened carefully to what I was saying and my needs and helped me make a decision. We were looking at other options but we went with PODS. The website and the online tools were good. But when you go online to make a reservation, it doesn't give you a price. You have to either call or ask them to call. You have more interaction with a person but from the convenience side, I wanna know how much it's gonna cost. I don't wanna call every time.
The person who dropped off the pod at the beginning gave me information and details on it. He was very helpful and knowledgeable, listened carefully to what I was saying and what I was asking, and answered very clearly. Then, the pod was picked up and when it was dropped off here, I spoke briefly to the person and he was nice and polite too. At all times, I received phone calls when they were coming to drop it off and pick it up. But there was also a phone call to let me know they were on the way. And I was able to manage it or make changes online if I needed to. Everything was nice and smooth. If I have to move again, I will do it with PODS.

We had known people who had used PODS successfully and made them our choice. They were excellent. The pods were delivered on time. I was at my son's, loading them and when they arrived here in Colorado Springs, we stored them for a while before we found a place to live. That was done very well. The drivers were very courteous, understanding and informative. I would use PODS if I moved again.

I was trying to do a little remodeling and needed PODS to store some furniture and different items. I booked a pod online and the process was simple. I called for clarity on the process of them delivering the pod, and they were nice. I wanted to make sure that it was turned so that the opening was near the garage which they did. I love everything about the pod except for the door lock where you put your lock at. It was hard to lock it. When you close it, in order to slide that lock and engage it, you have to put a lot of pressure and stand on it a certain way. Other than that, I highly recommend PODS because they gave me a good experience.

I had a good experience with PODS, and I'd recommend it to other people. The booking process was convenient. I had one customer service issue but they explained it to me and they were responsive. I had a storage pod delivered to my house, and I packed it, then I had them pick it up and store it. After I had them deliver it, I unloaded it and they picked it up. All the drivers I dealt with were solid.

We've always had a good experience with PODS. We've moved several times and used them. We had the pods stored in their facility in Illinois. They were available at the time at a reasonable price. So as long as you do it far enough in advance, you can get a pretty good deal on it. If you do it right last minute, it usually cost a little more money, especially around the holidays. But it worked out well for us. Their reps were phenomenal. I praise them. The drivers have always been good as well. You tell them where you want the pod and they put it there.

I used PODS for storage and moving. I booked online, then I had to call them 'cause I had to change some stuff. The website was great, and the people that helped me afterwards were good as well. They answered my questions, and if they couldn't, they put me on hold until they could figure it out. I had a scheduled date for the delivery, and the container was very sturdy, safe, and clean. The driver was very pleasant and personable too. I've also used PODS before, and if I have to move again, I'll use them.

My experience with PODS was excellent. It's a wonderful company. I ordered their PODZILLA, their biggest metal box thing, and then they delivered it to where I was moving. They loaded all the stuff in, and then I have them bring it back to the new place I was staying. I've been with PODS before a couple of times when we first moved. It's a great thing. They bring the container to your house, you load the stuff in, then they bring it to the place you're staying. You have the time to load it at your leisure. Their people were all very nice and the price was fair. I don't have complaints whatsoever about PODS. They did everything they said they were gonna do, and the guys who moved the stuff were really nice and did put it exactly where I wanted it. I would use them again if I ever move.
PODS brought the pod to Sherman Oaks here where I live. Almost the last day of when I was done with the thing, somebody had broken into it. They smashed the whole lock off it and PODS didn't blame me for any of that. They said that that's not my fault if somebody broke into this thing. It also was not their fault that there are criminals all over the place. The price I paid them was worth it. I like the idea that they put the pod out there and you got a month to move all your crap, and then they bring it to you, and then you got a couple of days to just put it back, put it in your house, and they take it away. I was 100% satisfied. They bring you a nice, clean box.

I moved my mom out of her house and sold it. We loaded up a pod and PODS stored her stuff. I went and had to go to the facility twice to put more stuff in there. All the employees I ran into were friendly and very accommodating. We ended up buying a house within 90 days and had her stuff delivered, emptied the pod out, and PODS came and got it. It was seamless.

The driver who dropped it off was very courteous and concerned with the placement in my driveway. Made sure the pod went exactly where I wanted it. He was wonderful. I received the correct size that I ordered. My only problem was I ordered a safety lock to come with it, and when it was delivered, no lock was with it, so I had to call the store and PODS had the technician bring me out a lock. I love that everything was there, that I could access it, and it was locked up. Even though I had to go through it, they were wonderful to deal with. I had to have some remodeling done in my house, so it was inconvenient to have a pod, but the pod people were wonderful about helping me.

PODs was a wonderful way to move. We have some sentimental antique furniture and wanted to make sure WE handled things for protection. The POD was the way because we could take all the time to wrap, load, and pack carefully. When the POD arrived, we could take time to unpack safely. I was most impressed with the drivers-all three of them (we had one driver twice) were fantastic! Shout out to Lehigh Valley, PA location.

The ordering and delivery of the POD was easy. The POD provided a good option for storing things while we prepared our house for sale. We didn't use the POD to move things to our new house. Arranging for pickup of the empty POD has not been easy. The earliest dates for pick up were almost a month out. This has made arranging closing on our house sale very difficult. Although everyone I have spoken with by phone or through the website's chat feature have been very nice they haven't been able to resolve the issue of arranging for a timely pick up of the empty POD.

I was extremely satisfied with Lalani, my online booking agent. She went out of her way to be helpful! I was extremely satisfied with Guy, the driver who delivered my POD and who picked it up after unloading. The fellow who moved it from one place to another was terrible. He obviously wasn't careful with my belongings because he arrived at the destination before I did, although I left while he was still loading the POD and I didn't stop anywhere along the way. Then he wouldn't put it where I needed it put. Was rude about it then wouldn't wait while I called the company to try and reconcile the issue.
He almost ran me over as he was leaving and to show his dissatisfaction with me he did a very long blast with the truck's air horn. This not being bad enough, I got little to no response from customer service regarding the incident. I had to pursue it through a couple of emails, then was told that it was being sent to a customer service specialist and I have never heard anything from the company since.

Having lived in my home for 20+ years and being a 67yo widow moving on my own, I needed a way to move on my schedule, at my pace. PODS allowed me to do this. I can't say my move went without a hitch, but the PODS portion of my move could not have gone better. Especially helpful was how easily I was able to reschedule the moving of my POD, as I needed to do this a few times. Also, their contact and reminders were a huge help. And, the driver/operators of the amazing PODS trucks were professional, friendly and kind. This meant so much to me. Review of PODS Moving and Storage. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with PODS Moving and Storage. After falling behind on payments, I was informed in August that my pod would be auctioned the following day. While this was disappointing, I understood the situation. However, two weeks later, I started receiving communications from a company called Fun Storage and Moving, which I did not recognize. They claimed they had not auctioned my pod and began charging me the monthly rate again.
When I finally made contact with PODS, they confirmed they still had my pod and that I was being charged from August until the present. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this issue, they have not worked with me in a meaningful way. Instead, I have been bombarded with constant calls and emails, pressuring me without offering a fair resolution. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and has left me feeling taken advantage of. I would not recommend PODS Moving and Storage to anyone looking for reliable and fair service.

I had to move for the 1st time alone. No friends helping me for a 6-pack. No one. PODS came to my rescue. They expertly parked the POD in my tight-space apartment parking lot. Gave me plenty of time to fill it, hauled it to their storage facility and held it for me. When my new apartment was ready 3 weeks later, they again perfectly fit it into one parking space. They allowed me time to unpack it (this time my nephews helped me.) And then they quietly whisked it away. All this for half of what any other national moving company would have charged me. It was great.

Pods made it so easy to move 1200 miles. They were prompt and helpful. I changed some things two day before the move with no issues. The website was easy to navigate. The people I spoke with in the phone and the people who did drop off and pick up were friendly. I would def recommend!

Great service. However, the monthly "storage" rate is too high. I think it's good that there is no pick up fee, but I'd rather save on the storage rate than the pick up/delivery fee. Again, the storage fee is way too high, and I'd rather pay for the pickup/delivery fees.

From the moment we booked our POD to move our daughter from Texas to Maryland, things went exactly as described by the POD representative, and the emails and communications we received. From the sales rep to the delivery and pickup drivers on both ends of the move, the communications were straightforward, accurate, and super professional. Drivers communicated when they would be arriving, and showed up on time. I hate to make a big deal out of the things I’ve listed above but it’s exceptionally rare to find a product and company that displays the professionalism that the PODS team displayed. I strongly recommend PODS as your container storage and moving company. We will certainly use them again if the situation arises.

I had a wonderful experience with Pods. I moved from the East Coast to the West Coast. Being older, it was wonderful to be able to load my pods on my time. Locked and secure. When the Pods finally arrived and placed all boxes in our garage. Most of all, from the service people to the deliveries they were wonderful. I highly recommend this method of storing and delivery. I was not able to complete my online request. When I called in the representative was exceptional! Kind, helpful, and made sure I ordered the size I needed. She asked where it would be placed and which way I wanted the door to open. Then I was even more impressed with the gentleman that delivered the POD. He even put down wood over my lawn to protect it from the tires on the truck. Rarely do you find a company that provides such amazing customer service from start to finish. Both of these people deserve shout outs for being amazing!

The people that picked up and delivered our PODS were so polite and kind. Excellent experience overall. The woman that fist delivered our POD was so funny and professional at the same time. The only bad part was that roaches got into the PODS and got into my house before I realized it. We killed them all.

Everything was great except the climate control for my containers wasn't the best. Moving from Florida where my PODS were kept probably the hottest summer on record. I'm sure didn't help either. I did suffer some damage to some of my things. Overall everything else we according to plan. All schedules were met and the staff and representatives were all pleasant professionals. It was a successful experience.

Pods was great. Pack and Load Services, as recommended by you, was atrocious. They did nothing that was promised. They committed fraud, stole over $2400 from us, didn’t finish the job, and didn’t respond to escalations to management for restitution. Just look at all the complaints at the Better Business Bureau.

Our POD was delivered and picked up exactly when we were told. The driver was super nice and professional each time. The POD itself was in good condition and kept our items safe and dry in our driveway while we had new flooring installed in our home. Great experience! I moved from Georgia to Nevada. PODS handled any concerns quickly and fairly. They delivered and picked up my POD as promised. The stuff had shifted so I couldn't open the door (due to hot weather melting my plastic crates). They sent a driver within a day to fix it. Recognizing it wasn't my fault, they waived the $50 fee.

This was the easiest experience we've had for moving, and we've moved about 10 times. Hiring PODS was a great decision. We were a little leery at first, but now that we're all moved in and the pod was removed from our final destination today, my hubby and I both felt like they did such a great job. Pricing is reasonable, the technicians are knowledgeable, and overall just a great experience.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This past year has been nothing short of a nightmare dealing with this company. What should have been a straightforward process—receiving my pod and belongings—turned into an exhausting, never-ending ordeal. Every interaction with their team has felt like an exercise in futility. Their employees are shockingly undertrained and seem to be in competition for who can offer the least helpful or accurate information.
It only gets worse when you try to escalate matters. The supervisors—if you can even reach one—are somehow even less knowledgeable and unwilling to resolve issues. My calls have been dropped, requests ignored, and timelines repeatedly pushed back with no valid explanation. I’ve been given the runaround for a full year, with zero accountability on their end and a glaring lack of professionalism at every turn. And just to add insult to injury I get to pay them 381.00 a month and spend a minimum of 2 hours a month having the same conversation.

We were doing some home renovations and needed temporary storage while we had our floors done. I was able to easily request a quote and book a POD online. PODS did a great job of communicating delivery (and pickup) details. The driver delivering and picking up (same person) was extremely pleasant. I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the actual POD. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I booked over the phone because the web tracking was a little challenging. I work in IT, so I look at things with a more critical eye. Booking ended up being a couple of phone calls and the reps were fine, but the quotes didn't match. I requested the largest pod and then a smaller one to be on the safe side. The rep said he was quoting me at $100 for something, $50 for the lock and 400 or 500 for the pod. I wrote it down and when I called back about the drop-off day, I found out how much that would really be. The total was 1,900 for the two pods, and I said, "Wait, that's vastly different than how you broke it down." He said, "I don't know what to say to you. It's coming out what it's coming out." He had no clue, and it was a weird experience. I had to make changes.
The pod was clean, and the drivers were awesome. They were both very kind, and the email or text notifications were spot on. However, if PODS wants to get more of a market share, they should hire their own professional moving people since people need it as opposed to recommending people go to an outside vendor. I was recommended to go through U-Haul for laborers and they showed up high. They were smoking pot in front of me and my autistic son. That was horrendous.

I reached out to PODS for storage rent. The price seemed reasonable. I did the booking online. Their website was not perfect but it was good. I did have to make one call to confirm something. They were helpful. We got the larger container, and it met our needs. It was sturdy, clean, and we didn't have any issues with it. The drivers were amazing. The one who dropped it off was able to maneuver it very well. We were very pleased with it. The driver who picked it up was fast and very nice. Overall, our expectations were met.

It was very easy to book PODS online. We were very interested in how the whole mechanism worked and the driver explained it. He was very, very nice. He was a very personable person. We ended up keeping the pod at the storage unit longer than anticipated. It ended up there for eight months and some sort of critter must have gotten into it at some point and there were acorns and leaves in there. It was used as a little storage for an animal.

I needed to use a container to store some stuff for a move. I liked the price of PODS. The booking process was fairly easy. The person I spoke to asked what I was storing. Based on the amount of items I had, they suggested the bigger container. I told them which side of the driveway to drop it on ‘cause I live in a duplex. I just made sure my parking space was empty and the car next to me wasn't there. He was able to deliver it.

My only problem was with the pick up driver. I had sent specific instructions to knock on my garage door when they arrived. I did this because I had just spent the last 3 days unloading the trailer in record AZ heat, some days were 115 and I spent the entire night and morning of the pick up day to make sure it was ready. I was tired and I have cardio problems which limit how much I can do. The trailer was empty but there was a few things that were placed just outside the door and I planned on moving them once the driver arrived. The amount of time to move those items was going to take less than 5 minutes and at the moment I finished clearing the trailer out I couldn't continue even just 5 minutes and has to lay down to rest. I get dizzy if I'm standing too long.
I heard a truck and got up and went outside to see if it was the pick up and it was, he was already walking back towards his truck when I went out there. I asked if he was ready to pick it up and he said he couldn't do it and was leaving! Now this is exactly why I said to knock on the door, I asked him why he couldn't and he said there's stuff too close to the trailer. I quickly took pictures of what was there and he was already on his phone trying to let you guys know he wasn't picking it up.
I moved everything in less than 1 minute, he was still on the phone as I finished and had to wait for him so I could have him come back and look at everything being clear. I told him that there was no way I was letting him leave without that trailer. I took more pictures in case he tried to get out of it. He still has to get his mover unpacked from his truck and I stood there watching. The time it took him to get the mover in place was 10 times as long as it took me to move those few items away from the back of the trailer. He didn't say a word and took off once it was done. A very different meeting than I had with the delivery driver who was quite nice and did all he could to position the trailer as far as he could in my driveway to one side even though there was a few things that made it a tight fit to only take up one lane in my 2 lane driveway.
The only mechanical problem I experienced was the door straps that hold the door in position were worn through on one side and it made to difficult to open and close the door. After a while both straps has worn out but at that time I saw no reason to have you fix them. The first month I had the door open and closed often but after that the door was only opened once in a while and had no real big issue.

To start the claim they'll tell you the delivery window the night before. They didn't. We moved our cars of the way just in case luckily. But that was the smallest of problems. When it came time to deliver our pods to the new house they also could not give a window until the night before. Which is tricky with movers. Anyway the night came and they said it would arrive by 9am. Cool. We woke up the next morning to an email saying they cannot be delivered. Full stop. Not a new time, just they cannot be delivered. We called and they said they don't deliver to our area. After already accepting our money and taking our stuff. We were on the phone forever trying to get them to tell us when they would deliver and they claimed the next day first thing for sure. That we would be compensated for the hassle, needing to pay and reschedule movers, and pay for a new night in a hotel. That we would have the new delivery time that night.
That night we get an email saying it would be ANOTHER day later. We called and told them how unacceptable this was. They finally relented that would deliver tomorrow after all but in the afternoon. So we had to pay movers for the lost time and reschedule them as well. Again. After this saga was finally done out support ticket, that they claimed would compensate us, was closed as "no fault found." I was livid. We called and they are now reopening the ticket... But I don't have a lot of hope. They are so dysfunctional and their customer service is awful to try and claim this wasn't their fault even.

Pod was very spacious, and we wound up only needing one. It was delivered when scheduled. We packed it well and it seemed to travel with no damage to contents. When I compared costs to other movers it compared favorably. I was very pleased with PODS, I feel they made the move very easy and convenient.

I moved from Oklahoma to Alabama and I liked that I had access to PODS in those states. I also liked being able to have the container on site, take my time packing it, then have it picked up and shipped. It was a big deal for me to be able to have the container to pack on my time frame. It wasn't like calling a moving company to come do everything in one day.
Booking the pod was easy, and the person that delivered my pod was very patient with me. He explained everything, took time to show me how to open the door, how to close it, and things to avoid while I pack it so I didn't have to worry about not being able to open the door. I was extremely impressed with him. It was the same experience with the delivery driver that delivered the pod to Alabama. He was extremely professional and patient. He allowed me to make sure that I could open the door so we knew if he needed to try to tilt the pod back. It could have been a frustrating process, but PODS went above and beyond more than what you normally get these days out of customer service. Each person was a godsend. I would definitely use and recommend PODS in the future.

They answered all the questions I had, to start with, because I wasn't sure about the what, where and how. The price was good ‘cause we got military, and the 16 footers were clean and sturdy. They served our purpose. We loaded household goods.

I needed a pod going from Florida to Ohio and I chose PODS because of the easy access to them online. I booked the pod on their website and the user-friendliness was good. They let us know 45 minutes before they were gonna arrive for the delivery and the pod was in very good condition. Also, the driver was wonderful and was very cautious backing up and putting the pod in the driveway. They were very gentle in placing the pod closest to what we could get access to.

I pulled up PODS online and it walked me through it, like what was I needing it for and how long would I need it for. It was pretty easy. The pod fits on the back of a flatbed, small truck like a wrecker truck. I had trouble with the lock a little bit. It kind of would stick, the lock itself with mine. But the handle that would slide so that you could put your padlock in was a little tricky to use, maneuver. But otherwise, it was fine. It worked for what I needed it to work for. I had it exactly two months.
The pricing was a little high since it was just a drop-off and then a pickup. It's not like I packed it and they had to move it for me and things like that. Because really, it was just drop it down and then it was storage for me. So, I thought it was a little pricey. Plus, the fact that there was no prorating. That bothered me a little bit. So, I had to make sure that I cut it off before the first of the month so that I didn't get charged for a whole another month. The other thing that I was a little disturbed about was that the drop-off and pickup fee are not included in the price of the monthly charge. So, that was an additional cost. The cost of the monthly charge should have covered pickup and drop-off for each of those months.

PODS called me and discussed it before they dropped it off because where I wanted to do it wasn't large enough. I was asking them to put it in the front yard with the opening up against the driveway, but they ended up needing to put it in the driveway. We had got it to unload what was salvageable from our place where it burned and we didn't have anywhere to go back in and it was like the end of the COVID lockdown. And you know how all the prices are and all the listings for all real estate went up really high right then. We couldn't find anything even to move into for a while. I had it for like two years. The pod was perfectly strong. Fine. I didn't see any outside or inside damage.

PODS allowed me the convenience of packing my own and it worked out well. Every time I had questions, Charlene, the rep, walked me through it. She was very good. It’s not every day that you do a pod and the rep was patient and explained what I needed to do as well as the timeline, packing it and then having it picked up and then sent over from Oregon to California. Even though PODS had to put it in storage for a week, at least the whole container went into storage. It’s not like they had to unload everything from a truck, put it in the storage, and then the next few weeks when I need to move out, they take everything from storage and move it back into the truck. More things will get lost and broken along the process that way.
The drivers were helpful because they came on time and were gentle with that 16-foot pod. Everything arrived intact and nothing was broken. There were a few things, but it's just how it is. It wasn't important. It was a few of the storage boxes because it was stacked too heavy. It’s interesting how the crew connected the pod to the truck. So, it was a learning process. The price was reasonable for what was done. But PODS charged me for a whole month even though the pod was only in storage for a total of five days. I could have had it moved earlier. It was just put into storage because of the dates. It could have been prorated such that if they did it within a week, they could charge me seven days. If I did 10 days, then charge me two weeks. But 30 days was quite a bit amount. Still, I would recommend PODS to future friends who are moving, depending on if they wanna move themselves, that pod is easier.

We used PODS for moving recently. I've used them in the past too and had a wonderful experience. I quoted them online and I booked it on the phone. The website was fine. It was very easy to navigate. And everybody I worked with at PODS was very helpful. We didn't have any problems. We have the largest container and it was exactly what we needed. It was sturdy and clean. I was vaguely concerned that there weren't as many rope loops as there were before. But other than that, it was fine. Everything arrived safely too. The drivers were great. I asked a lot of questions and they answered them all really well.

We rented two pods and stored them. The rep I worked with at PODS explained everything to me. Then, when I had to change dates on a couple of things, I'd call him and he was very helpful with that too. The drivers were all good. In particular, we had a female driver named Becca and she put that pod in a spot I didn't think she was gonna be able to, but she sure did. All the drivers were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed talking to all of them. My husband had an exchange with Earl and really liked him and I didn't even see him. We would use them again and if someone asked, we would recommend them.

I did a web search of mobile storage because I needed something to clean out my garage so I can get it fixed and to have some extra space. My choices were PODS and Mobile Attic and another one. I didn't care about Mobile Attic's customer service. They said my driveway had to be long. It was just 3 feet short and they said they couldn't bring their truck in and put it in there properly. So, they couldn't do anything for us. Whereas PODS didn't make any fuss. I did everything via online or in an app and I only got a call once just saying that the driver was bringing it. I asked him if I had to be there and he said no. So, I told him to just bring it in.
I got the largest pod and it was nice. It's set up so it can be moved from one location to another with stuff in it. They had a little hanger for clothes and hooks that you could tie things in to make sure it didn't move if they picked it up and moved it. We had an apartment in Chicago and we used PODS one time before to ship our stuff down to Columbia, South Carolina. But we had somebody else come in and pack it for us.

I used PODS for moving and they stored the pod for a number of months. Initially, I booked the largest one over the phone and the rep was good. The drivers were great too. The only thing is that, when the pod was delivered to the new address with my contents, the items had shifted. It made the roll-up door very difficult to open. It took about 30 minutes and two grown men and myself to get it open. Otherwise, it was a fine experience.

I was moving from the state of Michigan to the state of Florida and got one of the larger 16 foot containers. I booked the pod over the phone, and out of the entire process, the only bad part was when I hung up the first day, I was unsure of what I booked and the dates that I booked. There was a communication barrier there, but in general, after that, it was a very simple process. Pickup and delivery were super great. All the drivers were awesome, on time and really nice. I would definitely use PODS again.

I had used PODS years ago and I liked it and knew it was easier. This time, I used them for storage and moving. The delivery was perfect. They did a good job. The only thing was when the pod sat outside the night before we unloaded it, it rained and it leaked inside. I had a blanket that had fallen and soaked it all up, and it didn't ruin anything. But it didn't seal right there on the front.

My online experience with PODS was terrible. The agent wasn't experienced and he couldn't speak good English. I asked him if I could speak to someone else. He said, "No. My English is fine," and he continued. But he didn't know what he was doing. I wasn't sure if I needed one or two pods or one large and one small. I had never done it and didn't know how to estimate it. This young man kept putting me on hold 'cause he didn't know how to handle things. He didn't know answers to my questions and it was back and forth. I was on there for an hour plus.
Prior to that call, I wanted to speak with someone rather than doing it online because I figured that this was much too complicated to do online. I went to the Ocala PODS' office. You can't reach them by phone, but I found an address and drove up there. I met a gentleman who was awesome. He explained what PODS was and how it worked. He took me in the back and showed me what the pod looked like, what I would need to use it, and that I needed to do the paperwork online. He gave me all of the basic information on how it worked and was very detailed. That was in April, and I didn't know at the time when I was gonna be moving, but I knew I was gonna be moving. As the time got closer and I found out that I would be moving, I started the online process which was a nightmare.
The pods I got ended up being the right size. I had movers come in and look at what I was moving to give me an estimate. I verbally told the man in Ocala what I had. All of them thought one pod would be fine. Then someone came along and asked, "Are you sure you're gonna get all that?" I went back up to Ocala, and I talked with them. The manager up there went over it with me. She took the time and went out of her way to help me. She also told me about the straps I needed and how many. I was gonna have them loaded the next day then picked up the following day. She said, "When your movers come in the morning, have them assess it. If you think you will not need that smaller pod, call me before 3 o'clock and we will make sure that we don't charge you for moving that one." She went through the whole thing.
Then there was another question about straps so I went back up to Ocala. It's about 45-minute ride for me from where I live, but it was well worth it. Each time I went up there, not only were the manager-type people nice, but even the drivers would come in to ask a question to somebody, and they were pleasant. I've never seen such a well-oiled machine as I did with the individuals up in Ocala. They didn't even have to talk to me. I was there to talk to their boss but they were wonderful.
When they brought the PODS, it was a hoop because I had never seen this before. There was a young lady and a young man. One of them was there to take care of the large pod and the other one for the small pod. They could not have been nicer. I'm a nervous wreck but they made everything wonderful. Kudos to them. One of the doors on one of the pods was sticking. They explained that to me and said, "When your mover comes, make sure that they check this. Then when they come to pick up the pod, make sure that it's closed properly, and tell them before they take it." They were letting me know everything to do. We loaded it up then they came to pick up. It was the same thing. They were very pleasant, helpful, and informative.
I was very happy with the actual people that I worked with, but if I have to go through that online mess again, I don't know that I would do it again with PODS. Their representatives need to be able to communicate and to be familiar with what they need to communicate and know the product themselves, which is key. When it came to the billing part of it, I had someone online, and she couldn't help me. She turned it over to someone in billing. The first woman had it down to exactly how many charges would be made and the dates that the charges would be made so I knew what to expect. But they ended up taking a deposit out of my account without even notifying me. It wasn't clear that that was gonna happen. I went back online with the billing people, and it was a nightmare to get that all figured out.

I rented a 16 foot pods container for an upcoming move… The directions for pod placement were very descriptive and in the order. Pods delivery driver did not follow instructions. He dropped the pod at the end of my driveway not allowing any of our cars to enter. I immediately called to notify them that it was not placed correctly and that we would get ticketed by the city for parking in the street (this is also a 2 family home and the other occupants were unable to get their cars in the driveway as well). They said they would send someone out the next day to reposition it. The next day I came home and the pod had not moved, I called again and they said the earliest they could reposition it was 3 days from then. I said this was unacceptable- they said there was nothing they could do and I had to call back in the morning.
I called the next morning and was on the phone for another hour trying to get a reposition scheduled without being charged. I asked to just cancel the order and have the pod removed as this had been such a headache and was costing me more money due to parking tickets & lack of trust in the company. They told me if I was to cancel I would not be refunded any money and they would not be able to pick up the pod for an additional 5 days. Needless to say the POD is still in my driveway with no resolve

This was my second move with PODS, 9 years apart--both excellent! The customer service people who booked me were trained, and knew their job! Their computer app was easy to understand, use and pay my bills! The drivers for drop off and pick up of the PODs were clean, neat professionals who can drive the podzilla with amazing skill! And the ease of moving with a POD, to pack it over days at my pace is a concept that I applaud! It lowers the stress of moving. Highly recommend!

My experience with Pods would been five star but, the service you recommended, pack and Load was a problem! On the first pod being packed. A young man the crew stole my gold Amex card. They did nothing for me. It cost me extra time, 4 days in a hotel waiting for my new card. I called Pods and didn’t get a call back. Very poor customer service.

Everything from customer service, to arrangement, to dropping off the container to picking up the container and to delivery of container, it was seamless. Driver was really professional. He explained to me how pack to avoid content obstructing the door. He also show me how to unload everything. Price structure was clear, not confusing. I would recommend PODS. Good.

Having now unpacked everything, I am extremely pleased. I had a lot of fragile items and they were transported across many states without damage. Everything was handled efficiently! As an older man and not very experienced in on line work. I was able to talk to a person both up in Massachusetts and where we moved to in North Carolina. I was always informed where and when my belongings were. Found every person I spoke with friendly and professional especially the POD drivers.

This was the best decision that we could have made with our move from the GTA area to the Ottawa area! The fact that we got to pack the PODS was fantastic. We only had 1 print with broken glass, but that was on us. I fear that we may have had more broken/damaged items if we had gone the traditional way that people move! I think the PODS drivers are very skilled at what they do and professional. Our grandson had a blast watching the pod delivered. The pod driver who picked up the pod from final destination was so helpful. He made sure I could open the sliding door before he left. He discovered the load had shifted and tilted the pod to gently shift it back. Good guy. Very helpful. Very skilled. I have nothing good to say about the unskilled, non-English speaking guest workers whom pods recommended. They stole from me and did not secure the load with the pods provided straps. The drivers get 5 stars. The packers get O.

We had an outstanding experience using PODS for a part of our moving and storage needs. We filled a 16' container with 200+ boxes and miscellaneous items. All items were returned to us in the same condition as we packed them. Scheduling both the origination and destinations drop-offs/pick-ups were all done easily online. PODS staff were courteous and helpful. PODS was an affordable alternative to conventional moving & storage companies.

First time using pods and I probably received their oldest wooden pod that after I emptied it there was sawdust-like piles all over floor from bugs or something. The pods in all their ads are are new looking, bright and cleaner looking. Also, I don't agree w/not prorating the monthly fees especially when you get it picked up in the middle of the month. Ordering the pod was very easy, and the drivers that delivered/picked up were great.

Everything went great until the last pick up. Everyone was lovely to work with, their customer service was spectacular until they made a mistake. When the POD was picked up the last time, the driver had no idea what they were doing. They drove in the yard, in the neighbor's yard, and over the fence. The fence broke. All this in a driveway that had plenty of space. And they refused to compensate me. They stated it wasn't their fault, I should have told them the driveway wasn't wide enough. But the driver who dropped it off had no problem getting it into the driveway. Incredibly unprofessional and rude.

I did the booking process over the phone and all my questions were answered. It was really easy. I did the scheduling pickup and drop-off on the website and it was very simple. There was no issue with the delivery of the pod. I told the driver where I wanted it and he dropped it there.

As I write this, my POD has not yet left the hub to go from the Midwest to Hawaii. I have not spoken to a person with English as a first language yet, which has led to misunderstandings because of lack of training and communication skills. They have been very polite, and I am sure they are excellent workers in a tough position, but are not entirely helpful. Two required forms about insect pests have held up my POD for over a week because of the POD end of things not providing useable online capabilities. There was no docusign ability, and when I asked for help I was told to find a friend or go to the library! I actually did use the librarian, and they were sent correctly.
PODS could not confirm they had received said forms because they evidently lost them in their own system. I filled them out and sent them numerous times, sometimes being told they got one but not both, no, we got that one but not this, no, we got this one and not that, and around and around. This circus has left my POD sitting here for over a week! I was not told it was still here, and was not told the whole form fiasco was keeping it here. PODS took their main money the day the POD left my driveway, even though I had been told in one early phone call that the charge would be taken later. I had several declined transactions, including some on Sunday, because they "couldn't do anything about the system automatically running the card."
I told them the money would not be available until Monday, and spoke with several people, but they "had no control". I will now be at my destination a month before my belongings. There is no way to speak to anyone in a higher position, there is no way to complain online, and their "contact us" button does not work at all. I may have to update this. I am giving one star now, and may upgrade to two if my belongings arrive safely. Timing of your move can also be impacted by a renewed "rent" fee for a month at a time, even when it has not yet left.

When I needed some place to put things and store them, I went with PODS. They had the size I needed, which was the smallest size that they had. It seemed to be water tight and it opened. We dropped it in my driveway and it was very helpful in terms of getting it to the site that I needed it at. But their booking process was long because you can't do it online. You don't get the information directly from the website. There are a lot of things that you have to talk to a human being about and the human beings have problems with their computers. It took a long time to get answers with a lot of down time on the phone. I was sitting there listening to music on hold for quite a bit. People had to go back and forth so that was annoying.
Also, when I initially signed up, I thought it was going to be a certain amount, but the amount kept on growing. I had to redirect the shipment from our condominium in one city to a new house that we bought in another city, which we hadn't even made the determination on when we originally loaded up the stuff. There was additional insurance as well.

Moved across country using PODS - driver delivered my POD to my house. He decided the door couldn't be opened and took my POD away to POD facility. I was told I had two options. 1) Come to the facility. The POD door would be cut off and I could move my things to another POD to be delivered at my home. 2) Come to the facility. The POD door would be cut off. Move my things to a moving truck. I cancelled my movers and rescheduled movers and rented a truck. Got to the facility and the manager had NO idea the door was to be removed. MY MOVERS EASILY opened my POD door - items were packed in the rented truck. Complained that I had extra expense due to PODS - received an email saying it was my fault. Impossible to get to customer service. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and way too expensive with no accountability.

We had a good experience the first time that we used PODS, so I used it again. The booking process was easy online. I had one small pod on this trip and had it delivered, then I filled it, and had it picked up four days later. It was shipped to Salt Lake City, dropped off there and then emptied and picked up. The pod was clean and dry. We changed where we were gonna put the pod and the driver was very flexible in putting it in a slightly different place than we had originally scheduled. He was very efficient, quick, and clean. He dropped the thing off and nothing got damaged. It was all fine.

I was moving from Colorado to California and booking with PODS was super easy. They had a big discount too. PODS sent updates on where the pod was, and they hit all of their dates that they said they were going to. The delivery of that pod and the pickup of it was perfect. It was a 10 out of 10 experience. The driver was super helpful and let us park in a street-sweeping area because they were coming the next morning and he said a driver was going to come out early and pick up the pod. There were no fines because it was right in front of our door.

Customer ID **. Very poor service. I am currently in dispute with Pods. They are not respecting their contract. The scheduled pickup was November 1 maximum according to our contract. I made sure to call 1 week earlier to confirm and I want to postpone it 14 days after the end of the contract, i.e. November 14, which is unacceptable. Which causes me a real problem because I am renovating and as long as PODS leaves the storage container, I cannot accept my 2 containers of materials. I will therefore send a formal notice to PODS for DAMAGES for an amount of $1500 to $2000 and a reimbursement of what he made me pay for breach of contract. If pods resolves my problem within the day 2024-10-25, then I will remove my review, otherwise this review will remain and many others will follow throughout the dispute.

At this time I would definitely not recommend using pods and their packers. We put in a claim for damages furniture and they were supposed to send a check and never received word back or a check. The packers did not wrap a white antique chair and we had plenty of packing blankets left over and the chair has stains and indentations on it.

I was incredibly pleased at the care the four young men took with each piece of my belongings. Each item of furniture was wrapped carefully and unwrapped and put in place. I was not concerned for one minute about the safety of anything. They were professional and personable. They exceeded my expectations!

PODS quoted me an 8x8 container when I clearly told them I had a 2 bedroom apartment home to move items. Clearly this was not enough space. I called the company 4 different times. They assured me that movers know exactly how to pack these containers. Move day came and it certainly was not enough space. 24 hours PRIOR to my move day I contacted PODS on 4 occasions. Again they assured me this would be fine and they would all have quoted me this small container, they wanted to swap it out for a bigger one ON the DAY of my MOVE when MOVERS had ALREADY MOVED items into the container. I said this is not possible since I had paid Movers to move items and they said they would give me another container 3 days later.
I was told I would only be charged for the PRICE of the LARGE container and now PODS is trying to charge me for both containers which is clearly MORE than TRIPLE the COST of what it would have cost for only ONE container and moving across the country!! This company does not even deserve a one star rating for treating customers this way because they refused to admit they made a mistake and quoted me the wrong container! I would only be paying for one container not both and I would only be paying for one container to move thousands of miles which costs thousands of dollars. Now I have to forfeit my items and let them keep them because I cannot afford to move my property! How disgusting that a company would do this to its customers!!!!

Each customer has a different amount of belongings in different sizes, so we can’t guarantee a specific container size or amount will work for absolutely everyone. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! PODS is not transparent whatsoever. They are not worth the money you are paying! Nothing but issues from this warehouse. Storage access: I drove 5 hours round trip to access my POD after confirming the date and giving 3 days' notice. To my surprise, my POD was not available to access. Day of delivery: Again, I wasted my time and gas to drive 5 hours round trip. I arrived at my destination at the latest time they gave in their delivery window (2:45) Now they are running 2 hours late. 5:00 pm still not there. I called again, then they say between 6-9 pm.
I understand things happen but what I don't understand is the lack of communication. Tell me my POD won't be delivered before I waste my time and money waiting for it; update me with a delivery time so I'm not sitting in town for hours past my time frame with nothing to do and then have a 2.5 hour drive home. Get your business together! Poorly managed! Needs better customer service! Will not ever recommend PODS to anyone. In fact, I will go out of my way to discourage it.

Absolutely the most horrible experience I have been through with any company in my life. They tried to get more money out of me after I emptied the containers for rent on the containers because the movers I hired, Bareback movers, left what they didn't want to move in the containers. I had removed my locks which indicates that I am finished with the containers.

Using PODS saved us thousands of dollars on our move. Yes, we had to do a lot of work, but it allowed us tremendous flexibility in terms of move dates. I was surprised to learn that the dates for drop off and pickup were not immediate - a couple of weeks in advance.

PODS is easy to use and probably the most reasonable. I called them to book a container and their rep knew what he was talking about. I got a small pod for one month and the driver put it where we wanted it. He measured it so that it wouldn't disrupt the postal service. He was very knowledgeable and very courteous. The pod was fairly clean but the door was extremely difficult to open. I couldn't open it and my husband had to.

Pods is HORRIBLE at calculating the number of units needed. They were informed of my house size and item count. A 16ft pod (the biggest) was sent and after being filled, half my items were unmoved! I had to hire a Uhaul and get a 2nd storage because of their error. A HUGE unexpected expense! This all happened on closing day so I would have lost my possessions if it weren't for my family helping. It was a traumatic nightmare! Also the items I pre-packed were repacked by the movers because they have their own system. The men that delivered and picked up the pods (Anthony picked up) were courteous and efficient. I would NEVER use pods again!

Excellence all around! Delivery of pod - driver was very knowledgeable - pickup after full went very smoothly--delivery of pod to be emptied - excellent. Answered all my questions. The only complaint I could possibly have is with the pod itself... The door kept jamming when opening and closing... but it did open was just harder than I expected is all!

We were moving and had to unclutter the house to stage and sell - Pods offers safe secure storage for your possessions. Delivered on time and picked up as promised- A few months later they were dropped off at the new home - Everything in good shape, perfect solution to our situation. I was overall happy with my experience with PODS, however there were a couple issues. While my delivery and pickup was exceptional, the delivery at my new location in Florida was a little disappointing. I had my POD delivered 1 day before my arrival so that I could get started right away with unpacking. When I arrived, I realized they did not face the POD in the right direction as I requested. As well as finding out that it did leak and damaged some of my belongings. Luckily, it want too severe.

The POD was placed on the street in the cul-de-sac with no issues on Oct 14. Several days later when removing the empty POD, the driver of the POD's truck drove the truck onto the neighbor's grass strip between the sidewalk and the street damaging their yard by leaving large and deep ruts. Then the driver moved the podzilla off the bed of the truck straight over the pod. No protective material was placed on the neighbor's grass. Incompetent driver/employee. My point is to ensure you have someone watching during container drop-off and pick-up. This is my 2nd long distance move with this company and first issue with the quality of work/service. Claim filed with the company. We will see how that is handled with their insurance provider.

Excellent customer service specifically the drivers and process/timelines excellent. The only thing that could improve is offering a special discount when ordering more than 1. I was told why there isn't a bigger pod and I could have used 2 but price not that much cheaper. So a good enough discount would have prompted me to do it.

Terrible customer service. Seems like once they get the final payment they ignore you. Sad. Driver never called the day of scheduled pickup and showed up 3 days later with no apology. I'll go with Pack-Rat next time.

I used PODS for storage. I was redoing my floor and had to move my furniture. The booking steps were easy. I went online and the navigation was easy as well. I got the biggest size, and it was good. The delivery was on time too. They kept me updated and overall, I was happy with it. PODS is a good service, and the price is reasonable. I wasn't aware that there was a pickup fee though. Either I skipped over it or I didn't see it.

I did some online research and PODS kept coming up. I looked at it online, and I felt like I didn't know enough. So I sent the word out to a couple of my friends who then came back and said, "Yes, it's worth doing and it'll work out." That gave me the confidence to do it. The fact that a live operator spent 40 minutes on the phone explaining how everything would work really helped as well. I had many questions, and I'm glad I had the guy to talk to. I would not have done it if it was just online and no live person had been there. The pod I got was beat up, but it worked fine. It was a small pod, and we had it about a month.
The guy who packed the pod for me put in boards and those ratchet straps, then when the guy picked it up, he put his little tie on it. I thought that the people helping me put on the lock correctly, but in fact, the padlock was not locked. The pod arrived, but the gate was about a foot and a half open thanks to the guy who packed it who probably made the mistake. However, I and the pickup driver also didn't notice the mistake. The lock was on, but the bolt was not in the hole the right way. Nothing had fallen out though. I peered over and opened it all up. Overall, I would definitely recommend PODS to certain friends and not others. My friends recommended it to me, but these were people whose capacities I understood. PODS is not for everyone.

I had a little trouble with the website wherein things weren't updated yet. I had to call PODS and they said, "Oh, it would." I booked on the phone, and the rep was great. Both of the drivers were very courteous too. I got the largest pod for three months and it was in good condition except the bottom part. It was old- and rotten-looking, and I was concerned about that, but it held up. I pointed it out when they came to pick it up, and they said that they would send it back for repair. Other than that, a pod is a good thing to use, and it's an easy way to do things. It's bigger than it looks though. I had a lot of room still in it that I put some of my stuff.

We had used PODS before successfully, and this time, I booked mostly online, which on a scale from 1 to 5, my experience was a 4. It was more successful than not and easier than not easy. There were some stains on the floor of the pod that I didn't know and they were a little sticky. Other than that, the drivers were superb, and I would go back to PODS again for similar circumstances.

We went with PODS for the convenience and to keep our stuff safe while we were moving. I booked it online and it was easy. They delivered it when they said they would and backed it into the driveway. After a couple of weeks, they picked it up and brought it to the other house. The pod seemed to look okay but once we had our stuff in it, some rain water got in and damaged one of our boxes which was a box of books.

When we moved 14 years ago, we didn't wanna take all of our stuff from Virginia to Atlanta. We got two pods and put them in there. There was a PODS place real close to us and I called the 1-800 number and booked it. They came out and picked the first pod right away. Then we ordered another one and that was quick and easy. We had the first pod dropped off on a Friday last month. A week later, they delivered the other one. I was very pleased that after 14 years, none of our furniture was damaged, cracked, weather-beaten or covered in dust 'cause it was in a temperature-controlled place.
We have a few totes that collapsed but that was more our fault. We had too much weight above it. During the first delivery, the guy did something and he hit something, and it was hard to open the pod. He had to come back to open it for us. For the second pod, there was something that had shifted during the wait that leaned against the door. That one was hard to open as well. If something shifts and rubs up against the door, it's hard to open. Also, I was very disappointed in the price. They gave us different quotes from week to week. I called up and asked how much it was gonna cost to have it delivered. I called the next week and they told me they were ready to schedule it but they gave me a different price. Then when I finally did the last thing, they gave me a different price again.

PODS were okay, but when we got down to Florida to get the pods, I thought that we paid extra to have the pods delivered to the home here in Florida, from one end to the other. But he said, no. So it was confusing. When you talk to somebody and then you try to call them back, you get somebody else and then you have to go through the whole thing again with them. I had to keep going back and forth to make sure the dates were on time. I had two crews coming in to load them. It was a little bit confusing, but we got through it. They were great people.

My wife and I used PODS to move locally six years ago. We had two pods that we used to move from Marietta up to Ackworth. This time around, it was a little different. We moved 900 miles out to Tulsa, Oklahoma. I like their website. I do most everything online. So it was very easy to go to the PODS website and book our pods there and schedule everything. We knew what the cost was gonna be upfront. So that was really nice to have that. We scheduled for the pods to be delivered three days later out here in Oklahoma. So we knew the furniture was already here in Tulsa before we actually drove out from Georgia to Oklahoma.
The first pod came in and it had more or less a Teflon type bed. We had to get a larger size for the second pod. We loaded up the first pod that came and we knew after that that we were gonna have to have another one to load everything up. But they were both in good shape, and it was easy. I like the fact that we could load it ourselves. We knew we had some antiques and glassware that we wanna make sure they were packed the way we wanted it. If anything was broken on the way out here, chances are it was something that we would have done and not the movers doing it. We knew doing it ourselves that it would be packed a certain way. When everything came out, we had a few scratches but no breakage.
They dropped off the pod right in the center of my driveway, about 5 feet off the garage. So we were able to move all of our furniture from upstairs and downstairs and into the pod using the garage. So that was nice and easy. It was the same situation when they dropped it off here. The pod was dropped off on the driveway and we were able to unload it in a matter of hours. Each time that I talked to the drivers and the guys that came out, they were very polite, knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to answer all of my questions. Price-wise, using PODS was definitely a lot less expensive than it would have been had we hired movers to come out here. It would have been an additional thousands of dollars. So we definitely saved a lot of money.

PODS seemed like a major outfit and they were running a summer discount so went with that. Their pods are basically just big metal rectangles with a door. I was very satisfied. I had a very good experience with PODS. I would recommend them to anyone moving.

When I called up their 800-number, the initial conversation was a bit misleading. I told PODS in the initial conversation that I was gonna need to rent three 8-foot by 16-foot pods. When they gave me the price, it was around $4,800. I asked them if that was all for three pods and they said, “Yes.” But they just talk to you and make the sale. Then they transfer you to the actual booking number or over to someone to do the actual booking and then go over the pricing.
When I got switched over to the booking department, I was told, “No. That price is per unit.” So, the actual move is gonna cost over $12,000. But I understood the initial price clearly because I asked the rep, “Is that price for three pods?” I think they just wanna move you over to the booking people. So I told them I was gonna call them back because the person that I talked to originally told me that it was around $4,000, which I thought from looking and seeing what it should cost that that was extremely cheap. They said, "No, no. Don't call. Let's see what we could do." They went back and forth. They kept giving me discounts and lowered the price. So, I changed to two pods and they gave me that for $7,000. I still paid more than they originally told me. That price from what I saw that it should cost to move from New York to Florida, so I was okay with. I ended up paying that price.
Once the booking was made, they were terrific for the rest of the process. Everything came on time. Everything was scheduled properly. They collected the money like they said they would. The people who picked up and delivered were very good. So, overall, the experience was good. I just was not happy with the initial contact and the way the pricing went. They need to be more upfront with the pricing initially.

I used PODS for storage and I liked that they came to my house instead of me having to cart the stuff somewhere else. I didn't have any problems. Other than you had the address across the street instead of this one. I saw the driver pull up and I told him, "I think over here because they'll be kind of wondering about that." They park a car where he was gonna put the pod. He just said, "Okay." I had all the other information correct, name, and phone number. So, he just picked it back up and moved over. He was very nice and friendly. I used the website to schedule the pod and also to try to change the address. But it was impossible for me to change it to the correct address. I tried a couple of different times and the rep said he was gonna try. But it just would not accept.

I've had a very good experience with PODS. This is my fifth pod and there will be a sixth one. I've had five pods, and the 16-footer is almost filled now, and it'll go to Florida. Going with PODS was fit best with my schedule. We're slowly moving to Florida, and so the move wasn't all done at one time. The house in Florida was just finished so we were living in both houses. That's why it worked so well. For the most part, the reps were very good. One-time, one pod was damaged but it didn't hurt to miss my contents.

PODS was easy to use, efficient, and friendly. I would recommend it. I had some friends who used them and told me about them. I did some research with the Pack Rats and PODS, and I thought PODS was a better deal with the insurance. I went online and saw the number, called the PODS people. They walked me through the cost and things, and I booked it. It was simple. We had two pods actually dropped off at two locations within three blocks of each other. One was at my mother's house, one was at my house. They notified us when the pods would come. They called us an hour out when the pod would be there. They got there. They dropped off both PODS at both locations without any problem. The drivers were friendly and knowledgeable, and it was easy.
The pods were clean and the outside looked like they had just been painted. The insides were clean and swept. The only concern I had with the pods is they didn't seem secure if somebody wanted to break into them, because the doors are very thin. My husband and I looked at it, saying people could easily cut right around that lock and get in the pod. But we didn't have any problems. Everything arrived fine and everything was accounted for. It all worked out fine.

We needed to move a fairly large amount of household furnishings, tools, clothing and "stuff" to furnish a summer home we purchased about 1600 miles north of our Texas home. The choices were to rent and pull a box trailer 6' x 12' or have a small POD transport everything. The cost to rent a trailer would have been a fraction of the cost to use PODS, but would have entailed making a far more dangerous and difficult drive without any backup. The PODS experience was actually quite seamless. We loaded (and unloaded) it ourselves. I do have considerable experience loading and securing a load in a truck bed, so I was perhaps overcautious in stacking and securing everything in the POD.
Over the ten days that our POD was in transit, and God knows how much jostling it incurred, our load arrived dry, unbroken, and generally unshifted from the condition it was in when the POD was picked up from our driveway in Texas. The PODS staff who did the physical pickup and delivery of the POD were professionals who were careful and exceeded our expectations. The PODS personnel I communicated with by phone were likewise professional and were very informative and helpful. When it was all said and done, my opinion is that it was DEFINITELY a wise use of my financial resources to have PODS move my household belongings cross-country. I would definitely use PODS again.

I have have now tried PODS for short and long-term storage. To be honest, the units were secure and worked well for their designed purpose. The drivers are friendly and courteous. PODS, IMHO, are very expensive for this purpose. You are paying for convenience. This is something I will not do again.

The Pods team members were all outstanding! They were professional and communicated in a timely manner. From setting up the account to scheduling to actual drop offs and pick ups all was done effortlessly. The only negative is your tool for estimating what size and how many pods would be required. It is bulky and missing many categories of items thereby requiring customers to end up with bad data. In my case the tool said that I needed 1 1/2 large pods. The reality was that I used every square inch of the space. If I had not hired professional loaders we would have needed another pod.

Our experience with pods was seamless from beginning to end. The customer service person we spoke to was extremely helpful as she helped us determine what our specific needs were along with how much we wanted to spend. This helped us to eliminate some possessions we really did not need to bring, which would only have filled up another half pod anyway. This actually saved us a lot of money. Also the system is set up so there's communication every step of the way - you know exactly what you're going to pay at each step and you know exactly when your pods will be picked up and when they will be delivered… This is all determined by you. Also, we were able to schedule the pods for one week before they were picked up. This allowed us sufficient time to go slow and made the entire process feel manageable.

The experience from start to finish was exceptional. I placed my order online without an issue. I needed to change my delivery date and called to have assistance. They walked me through how I could do it online on my own after they made the update since I still wasn’t 100% on the date. The delivery went smoothly and as expected since they have videos to prepare you. The POD kept all of our stuff safe and dry in our driveway. I really appreciated that they notified me ahead of time that I had picked a date two days past my one month mark for pickup. This saved me money and a headache as I would have been charged for a full month to keep it two extra days. We would use this service again if the need arose again.

Very pleased with the PODS transaction. I called for quote. Was able to get a quote quickly. Was able to schedule the drop off and pick up which was suited to my needs. I was able to get a lot more into the pod than I thought I would be able to. The pod was clean and ready to go. The communication with the PODS people with excellent. They kept me informed of when it would be picked up and delivered. Was able to adjust times and dates as needed. It was and out of state delivery and was informed of where it was in transit.

The most corrupt business practices I have ever seen from a company. I will never utilize Pods ever again. The sales team that books the pods have zero morals, cancel each other’s quotes and practice shady sales tactics. I was quoted a price that was emailed to me and when I called back to book it, it was booked under a different quote price and number. I contacted customer support and was told there was nothing I could do and to pay the increased price. I will never use this company again and will ensure I discourage everyone I talk to to do the same.

I called PODS and talked to Karen. She was excellent and she knew all the things I hadn't thought of yet. That convinced me to go with PODS. The delivery of the pod went smoothly and it fit perfectly in our driveway. It was really easy to load and we were able to put as much stuff as we thought in it. We liked the structure of it because you could really put a lot in it. Then there were the hooks on the way through there and you could secure your load. Their website was also really good.

I was moving from Nashville, Tennessee to Southern California. I had things I wanted to go to my daughter's house in Portland, Oregon and I looked at three different companies. I assumed that since PODS was so familiar to me they might be the most expensive, but they were the least expensive and that was why I went with them. When I called them, I got a representative and the booking process was very easy. I told him what I wanted and he told me what I needed, if I needed 60 feet, et cetera. He said I needed a permit from the City of Nashville, which I didn't know how to get it. It would have been nice for them to know exactly how I would have got the permit, but I figured it out.
When they delivered the pod, the guy called me up. But I checked three times because I wanted to make sure that it was going to be there on time. I lived in an apartment with 360 units and I was told by the apartment that they couldn't put it inside because it was too big. So, I had to put it on the street and I had to reserve the space. So, I bought some traffic cones and put them out the day before. When the truck driver showed up, there was a tree and he said it might be a problem. But it was obvious that he had done this a lot and he knew exactly what to do. He was a great representative for the company.
The pod was clean when it was delivered clean and I had no problems with it at all. Then I called the local moving company, hired guys to load it and locked it up that day, and the pod was picked up the next day. PODS is a good way to get something of value across the United States. The experience was about $4,000 from Nashville to Portland, Oregon. And I had an antique Coke machine which was probably worth 9,000. If I got a moving company, it would have cost me 18,000 to move my furniture and that's a lot. A lot of people would give everything away and spend $18,000 to buy new stuff. But I lost my wife and I had some antiques that my wife loved. So, to me, they were worth more than $18,000. If I hired a truck, it would have been at least $15,000. So PODS was the much more economic way to get things that I really wanted to get to my daughter in Portland, Oregon.
They quoted me 42,000 and there was some upfront payment. They had my credit card number and when they delivered the pod, there was a little bit more. I had really good emails from when it was going to get there, so I told my daughter that she had to park her cars right out front. And she'd have a day's notice. Then, when I got the email saying that the pod was going to be delivered on this date, they had somebody home. So, it was easy on that end also. When the pod was finally picked up, the last payment came in and I didn't even pay attention to it because they deducted exactly what their quote was.

The booking process at PODS was easy, seamless and flexible. I did both online and over the phone. We had a lot of changes to our timing. I prefer the telephone, so I tended that way. But I also did some adjustments online as well. We had one pod, and it was for a year for a remodeling project. We were lifting the house. So we needed to move out before we moved back in. Similarly, I did one pod and traditional storage unit partially, because we had more stuff than we realized. Then partially, because I wanted to compare the preference for the two since it was the first time I was using a pod. But I picked it because my contractor heard good things about using pods.
The pod was clean. It seemed a little less dirty than I would have liked. Unfortunately, we had a piece of furniture broken in the pod. But it was the way my movers loaded it, not necessarily a fault to the pod. With the exception that if we had done that into the storage unit instead of into the pod, that would not have happened. But it's a good alternative to standard storage, being able to load. It was just a little more expensive than the storage unit. But the drivers were really good customer service representatives.

The young men who moved us into our new house were so good. The only problem that we had is that they damaged a panel on our refrigerator. My husband said the part would need to be ordered, but we've heard nothing back. Can you please help me with that. Thanks!

Pods is a great company. I was extremely impressed with how smoothly everything went from start to finish. Every single person I came in contact with at Pods was wonderful and efficient. Their times were perfect for the drop-offs and pickups. The drivers were friendly and knowledgeable and were in and out. I stored the pod in their facility for 8 months, the price for storage and everything else was quite reasonable. They recommended movers who were diligent about packing certain things I hadn’t been able to do myself. Pods even has a branch for ordering moving supplies which was quick, easy, convenient and inexpensive. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with them. Highly recommend and don’t think you can use another company because they can’t compare to Pods.

I would give them zero stars if I could. They set a pickup date for 10/8/24, I asked them to move it to the 7th. Then on September 27th I let them know the pod was empty and could be picked up., I never heard a word until a text on the 8th saying they would be here between 11:45 and 2:45. They never showed up and there was no text. I've called several times and they say the only date they have is the 8th. They also said they could not access my road as it was closed. Which is a complete lie. My road is in town and completely accessible even today after the hurricane. They insist I am lying.
When I asked to speak to a manager, they transferred me and we went through it all again...then he said he couldn't help me as he was customer service and I needed the business office, the same office that had transferred me to him. So we did it all again. They lied again. I asked to speak to a manager and they told me there were NO MANAGERS. They told me this several times. The warehouse has no managers, the drivers are in charge and are the last word. There is no manager above the call service people. Seriously? There is no way to contact anyone on the website either. No complaint box, no email, no phone.
They are now saying they will pick up in the next TEN days. I have someone in an RV from Sarasota and trying to get home. There is nowhere to park it except in front of the pod. They did not seem to care that it might be blocked in until the folks can return to pick up the RV. These pod people are horrible, I wouldn't trust anything I valued to them.

It was very easy to schedule delivery and pick up of our pod. We had them store our pod at their facility for 6 months and when we got it delivered everything was in excellent condition. No weird storage smells or spiders or bugs either! They did all the moving/driving and it was so easy!

On Sept. 26, 2024, I called PODS to put in an order for one 16-ft. container. I was called several times before the scheduled Oct. 8th delivery date to confirm the correct drop-off location and day, which I did. The night before the container was supposed to be delivered, I received a surprising call notifying me that PODS would not be able to support any military moves in my area before November. Because my wife is pregnant, I hired movers to show up to my house on Oct. 8th to assist me in moving all of our belongings. I am now out several hundred dollars for these movers because there is no longer a container into which they can load our household goods.
When I asked the PODS representative on the phone about a justification for the last-second cancellation--despite the numerous confirmation calls and emails I received and replied to in the prior days--she simply restated that my PODS delivery was being canceled due to "unforeseen circumstances" and that she was unable to give a more specific reason or an office phone number for me to call to get a better answer.
Not only are my wife and I now paying for movers that will not be able to assist us as planned, but now we are scrambling trying to figure out at the last possible moment what we can do to relocate in the short amount of time that the Army has given us to move. I will never place an order with PODS again, and I urge anyone considering their services to strongly reconsider.

We helped a friend relocate to Greer, South Carolina from Michigan in late August. After thinking through our options we decided PODS was the best choice for shipping her household items to the new location. The first contact took about an hour on the phone to set up the account, schedule the drop date, pickup date and corresponding move dates. Some date errors showed up in the final paperwork but it was easy to change. The company is very good on advising you of dropoff and pickup days and time frame that will occur. Once picked up we knew when it would arrive 7 days later and the nice thing was no one had to be there for any of this part of the trip. We gave detailed instructions about pickup and dropoff and the drivers handled it all.
After the first pod was loaded we determined another smaller pod was necessary. I called and got it scheduled right away and it arrived two days after the first. Again, all communication with PODS corporate and local on both ends went well. The PODS were very clean when dropped off and in good shape. The drivers were very friendly, very knowledgeable and professional at dropoff and pickup both. Pricing was fair and the invoices was very detailed. The final bill was actually a little less than the original quote. Overall we were very happy with the entire move from beginning to end.

The onboarding with PODS was good. It was just that when I went to retrieve my pod was the issue. I had arranged to have the pod dropped off a day before I had movers scheduled to come out to my place to move the things I have stored in my lower level back up into the living space. They were supposed to drop it off that Friday. They didn't show up. So, I got on the phone. I was calling all day, and I couldn't get connected to the actual place that was holding on to my pod. I was dealing directly with the online team. When I first called, they said they'd be there by noon. Noon came around. They didn't show up. I got a moving crew that's just sitting around now because they've already moved my stuff in. They're like, “Oh, no, no. They'll be there by two o'clock.”
So I said, “Okay.” They didn’t show up. Finally, I went to the place personally on Monday. I had to set up a delivery with the people there at the location. They gave me back $150, but the amount of money I paid just to keep these guys here doesn’t cover that. I had to hire another crew to come in and do more stuff to bring the stuff up. Overall, they did a great job with the onboarding, bringing and dropping the thing off, and picking it up. I thought it would be the same when I got my pod delivered, but it wasn't. Their customer service team wouldn't transfer me. They said they called over to the site, and they couldn't get anyone on the phone. That really caught me in a mood. They made the calls, took my calls, and they were patient to reach out and call me back, but they didn't have any control over that.

I used PODS when I moved from Minnesota to Mississippi. I got the biggest container. It was the 16 x 8 x 8, and it was good. It was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but that was no reflection on PODS. My experience was extremely great and I would recommend them. They were on time. They called when they said they were on their way, and they were there in time and delivered it where I needed it to be delivered, and was very helpful. They showed me how to make sure it got locked.

I started out online with PODS. We ended up talking to someone on the phone and they were always available. Their customer service was great. We got one large and one medium. The size was perfect. The pickup and delivery of the pods were simple. The guys got it done really quickly.

The PODS representative I worked with was wonderful. I had talked with U-Haul also. PODS were more expensive than the U-Haul Box, but the professionalism with the PODS was wonderful. They called ahead to let me know they were coming. They were always on top and ahead of the game notifying me along the way. If I needed anything, I could call and they looked into it and checked into it. There was no dropping anything anywhere. They were cheerful too. If you had any questions, they were more than willing to answer them for you.

In the beginning, they were supposed to give me a 25% off, but that didn't happen. When they dropped off the pod, it was supposed to be 16x8. But when I did the measurement, it wasn't 16x8. It was 15.5x7.5. But still, it was in my best interest to use PODS. The driver in Florida was nice. He asked me where did I want it, and he dropped it off exactly. He gave me the lock and key. He showed me how to lift it up and close it and lock it. So that was a plus because I couldn't do it. Then the driver that picked it up made sure everything was locked and secured. He had me double check everything, which I did, and that was the end of that. I also had a great experience with the person who dropped off the pod in Virginia. She also picked it up and she was very professional. She was very patient and helpful. I couldn't lift it up and close it. So she was helpful at both times.

Every single driver that picked up and dropped off the pod that I dealt with was super nice and helpful. One of them even went the extra mile to assist me in flipping the pod around the other way because it was misinterpreted when I first set up the appointment. I set up the appointment via the online chat on their website. When you do it through there, they ask you which way you want it facing. But if you don't know if your house is south or north or the direction, it's sometimes difficult to explain.
The chat function of their website is good. It did have a lot of issues at times where I would try to log in and it would state, "Come back later. It's not working," kind of thing, which was a little frustrating. They say 24 hours before your pod's coming and they also state a time window. But there was one time along the process when they didn't give me that time window until the day of. But otherwise, it was fine. I'd recommend PODS if you need something for a quick storage idea or in their house, even if they're not moving and they just want something outside in the driveway. But even in cross country moves, it went fine for me.

I first contracted with 1-800-PACK-RAT and three days before the move, they didn't confirm that they had a container available. They said they didn't know if they had it or not. So, I canceled with them. They offered 400 less than the price that PODS gave me but at the end, I realized that PODS would be the best option for me. Their price was good and with them, I didn’t have to drive the truck, so it was great. I called their support, then the lady put out the dates and I received the quote. Everything was as expected and it was good.
I got the 16 feet container and I could put all my stuff inside it. The drivers were friendly and they called 20 minutes before picking up the container and before delivery. But when the container was moving from Florida to Massachusetts, there was no information on their website. I called three times asking for confirmation and they said the container was moving. There was a problem on the website and they were trying to add this information there. This is a feature they requested through the developers to add it to the website. But they confirmed it and that was the important thing for me.

I had a 12-foot pod delivered to my house to store some things I had while we had some renovation done, and the driver was very professional and nice. The price was good too. I didn't think it was overpriced, and the customer service is excellent as well. The reps were very friendly and good to work with.

We needed storage 'cause we were getting a new house and putting it in the same spot. I booked the biggest pod online, and I wish there was a bigger-sized pod or I could visually see it better to understand how big it is. I had some technical issues, because when I was clicking the yard to show pictures, the pictures did not come up. So, I just eyeballed it. I don't even know what picture I clicked. I've got a good experience overall, though. We were able to get most of our stuff in there. If I would have been the one stacking and Tetrising it in there, it would have been fine.
The delivery was easy, but I wish the delivery driver would have listened to me. I have a big yard and I told him, "Hey, you can drive through the yard." He didn't and ended up ten-point turning right over where our water line is, so then we got a leak and we had to pay for that to get fixed. That was a couple $100. The pickup was easy as well. I wasn't home and I didn't even know they picked it up. That was great. However, I wasn't aware of the pickup charge. I thought it was all included in that main 300-something dollar price, then we got another charge for $100 to pick it up. All in all, I'd consider using PODS again, and I'd definitely recommend it to a friend. I'd tell them to use it.

I needed a storage service while our house was being renovated. I went with PODS because the pod was located in my own property and I had access to it. I booked online and both the driver who delivered the pod and the person who collected it were both extremely qualified, professional, and friendly. I couldn't have asked for better service. The pod was clean too. I've no issues with it at all.

I needed something quick to get started with the move when I didn't know when the closing of escrow was gonna be and PODS also offered storage, which other people don't offer. However, the online site is very difficult to navigate a lot of times. I started it that way, then I ended up finishing it on the phone with a representative. The rep was very courteous and they handled the problem quickly.
Sometimes the texts are a little annoying because they come in, then I'm getting an email too. The text says, “Refer to your email.” They could just tell me on the text. They should do one or the other, but not both. Another thing is that technically, everybody checks their email once or twice a day, so it’s redundant to get all of it. At least in my case, it was because sometimes when I got the text, I had already seen it on email. I don't know if there are other companies that are just as redundant, but other than that, it was a good experience. I shouldn't have to move again, but I'd recommend PODS to somebody else.

I love everything about Pods. The ease of pick up and delivery. The very kind and efficient phone reps. The drop off serviceman and pick up service. Very helpful, very knowledgeable and pleasant gentlemen. The ease of making appointments. They were here exactly when they said they would be. No drama, no fuss. I would definitely use again if needed. I highly, highly recommend. Pods also recommended the moving company which were excellent. And I needed moving blankets, used a Pods related Company. Delivery time was excellent, prices were reasonable. I definitely recommend. I was satisfied in every aspect of every transaction with Pods. Do not use a Company that does the same thing but is not Pods. You will be disappointed.

I spoke to a person from PODS. Customer service was fine. I had a little trouble setting it up online, so I had to call because I wasn't sure if I had it right on that website. They took my call, dealt with my issue, and they got me set up. It all worked out for me, and I might tell others they might wanna investigate using PODS themselves.

I got a storage unit from PODS and they delivered it to one place, picked it up and brought it. They took it back and kept it for me for several months then redelivered it and picked it up from that location. I had excellent interaction with the drivers. The first time, I wasn't around when it was dropped off and when they picked it up either. But the other time, I was there both times because it was at my house.

I booked a 16 foot container from PODS. My experience was flawless. They were informative. We didn't have any issues whatsoever. I was very pleased. Due to the fact that it was 2,020 miles away, we did have to wait because it was such a distance, but we knew that in advance when we made the arrangements that it was gonna take a while for a pod to get here because we moved from Ohio to Las Vegas.

As we were checking all of our options, PODS seemed to fit the best for what our needs were. The drivers did an excellent job. There were three of them that I met. All were very professional, answered all my questions, and were very helpful. PODS did a very good job and they communicated how things were gonna work each step of the way so that I knew what to expect. There was nothing out of the ordinary that happened. So, it was all ran very smoothly.

Great service- from the booking moment to the drivers... Best of all, you do the packing yourself and you are given enough time, so you don't have to rush. I wished PODS had a choice of a bigger size box than the 16 footer. It's tough to estimate what size and how much you can fit in those boxes, so you'll end up ordering an extra one. However, you don't need to drive a U-Haul track yourself or hire a trucking company that may break half of your stuff and deliver it a month later. The timing here is the key! Great deal.

We only ended up doing storage with PODS. We were considering moving, but the cost was a little bit above budget. We used the pod for three weeks of storage. The experience was all very streamlined. They did a great job taking care of us. They made it very seamless. It was great every step of the way even to the point of where we had four different drivers. They came out with the truck, one to drop it off, to pick it up, and then when they brought it back in. Each time, the driver came and spoke to me because they had concerns about having to get into the grass a little bit, the truck, which I appreciated. It was no issue touching the grass, but I appreciated at least that they were respectful enough to wanna bring it to my attention that it was a concern of theirs. I was impressed.
The pod was adequate for what we needed. We were trying to stage our house to sell it. We didn't have a lot. I appreciated that they had a smaller pod size to fit our needs specifically. I would definitely recommend PODS. However, we would have liked to have done it all in one go. But the cost was expensive. We moved 300 miles and it was gonna take them seven days to get our stuff up here, which seemed extensive for a trip that I made in six hours. But, that was the only qualm.

I started the process with PODS online. Once I received the quote, I called them. Every one of the drivers was great. Our experience was very positive. I was concerned about the packing once I got it filled up. But when it was delivered, everything was intact. It was almost like they flew it down on a helicopter. We had a really big curio cabinet in there with a bunch of glass on it. I was like, "I know it's gonna be broken. Something's gonna be broken." But not a thing was broken. I was amazed with how everything came through. It was pretty impressive.

I had to use the website and it was good too. I got the large container. It was clean and nice. I was impressed. It was kept up well for something that's used for storing and moving. They did well. I wasn't there either time, picking up or dropping off. But they called ahead of time. It was great. I had no problems at all.

We used PODS for moving and a short time of storage. We liked their price. Also, all the materials that we were moving stayed in one unit until we unpacked it when we got to South Carolina. We moved from Minnesota to South Carolina. We booked a 16-footer container. It's just it could have been a little bit bigger. We had one driver that dropped it off and he was awesome. He went over a whole bunch of stuff with us, things to look for, and made sure that when the pod was delivered to us down here in South Carolina that we try and get the back door open before the driver left in case he had to pick it up and jiggle it a little bit so that the door could open in case the load shifted at all or not. So, he was extremely helpful that way. The driver that came and picked it up after it got loaded was really great, too.
The time that we closed down the house down here went over a certain point, and we had it for two days longer. We got it delivered on the 28th because we closed on the house on the 27th. But then on the 26th, they started billing for the next month, which we were told about, but it was only two days. It would be nice if PODS would do something more retroactive and maybe a week instead of four weeks of uselessness that money went that I could have used elsewhere for other things, especially moving and having to buy new furniture. PODS was not flexible. So, that part brought my rating way down.
Also, the container was stored in Conway most of the time, and the gentleman that delivered it to us here in South Carolina was not helpful in any way, shape, or form. My son and I were here when he dropped it off and the door would not open. It maybe opened about eight inches and then it got stuck. It's on a roller-like thing, and a piece of furniture got moved and shifted during transport. I asked him to lift it up and wiggle it. He said, "Oh, we don't wiggle it." "Well, that first guy told me they can angle it so that it kind of goes to the front a little bit." He said, "We can jiggle it some to get it to try and break free and then set it back down."
He set it back down. My son asked him to lift it up, "Let's give it one more try." He said, "No. Call customer service." He said that twice and just blew us off and took the crane part of it, put it back on his truck, and took off. I called on that and talked to about three different people. So, that tarnished it a little bit, too, for the experience of having a driver that had no customer service skills at all. Then, it was only two days later and they charge us the full month.

PODS was great. They were on time. They brought the pod, picked it up and brought it to our new house and picked it up. Everything was in great condition. They were very personable. The driver had this big frame-looking thing. It moves the pod around, picks it up, and puts it on. We talked a little bit, and he was super nice and friendly, and everything was great. I've used PODS in the past, and it was the same thing. I’d recommend them to anyone that's moving anything or needing to store something in between moves. It was our dilemma. We had a little time in between selling a house and buying a house. So, it was perfect to keep a whole bunch of stuff in and know exactly where it was and had easy access to it if we needed something else. So, it really worked out well for us.

When the driver dropped off the pod, it was pleasant. However, when he picked up the pod, no one was here, so he just did whatever and made the biggest mess in our yard. He tore the grass and the side of the driveway. When I complained, PODS responded to my email and said, “Send pictures.” I sent the pictures, but they refused to do anything. They said, “No. We can't pay for anything.” That was not a good response. Overall, it worked out, but at the end it wasn't a great experience.

I had friends that had used PODS. I called them because I had questions. If I tried and did anything online, it was always nonhuman. It was a very easy setup and takeaway when they came and both drivers were very nice. However, I could not open and close the pod. I had to get my neighbor to come over and do it when we needed to get into it. It has that roller-type thing and I think there was something that would catch on it. And the handle that you grab hold of, the recessed handle, was small. I couldn't get my hand in far enough or if it came out a bit, something I could grab ahold of. It was difficult to open. Maybe they need to have two handles instead of one in the center, closer to where the roller stuff is. But I had plenty of room, the pod was clean when I got it, and it was clean when it left.

I did a price comparison and talked to some other folks who used PODS. So, I ended up going with PODS. They made the most sense at the time. Their price was comparable if we used one of the main brand movers. I booked regular container services over the phone and my interactions with the reps were good for the most part. They followed up to make sure that the pods were delivered and got picked up. The drivers were good too. They shipped my goods from point A to point B.

We ordered the 12 ft container from PODS and we loaded it in Maryland. We stored it for over a year, then we had it delivered at our new home in South Carolina. We did everything they asked us to and they did everything we hoped they would. We simply made sure that they could get in and that there was nothing blocking during delivery. There were some issues with trying to find our pod. They knew which warehouse it was in but the warehouse wasn't responding. So that took a little time and coordination, and there was some back and forth there. But other than that, it got ironed out and they helped. Our stuff was in good shape when it arrived and we haven't unpacked everything yet, but there was no damage. It seemed like our pod was kept in a climate controlled area, so it was all handled well and I appreciate that. I would tell people how it went for us.

The website wasn't too clear and I wanted more clarification about what I was getting into. So I called PODS to verify. I wasn't sure what size I needed and the first person that I called said, "Book both. Book the large and the medium one. And then you can cancel whatever, later on, if you choose that you want just one of them." So, that was what we did. The website could do a little bit of rejiggering in terms of making it a little easier to cancel your pods, so you can do it yourself instead of calling up just to double check on things. But otherwise, everybody I talked to was super nice and clear, and very friendly. I wasn't talked into getting X, Y, Z packages more than I needed to. There were no big differences between the small, medium, and large pods. But it was less expensive than doing the scam method of hiring a company to do that for you. It was also less expensive because none of your stuff went missing.
For pickup and drop-off, the gentleman called in advance. They came at the earlier end of the time slot that we were given. Then they called about a half an hour in advance to say, "Hey, we're on our way. I just wanna make you aware." That was really nice because it's nice to get a heads-up, at any point in time. It was amazing. It was almost theatrical. The person coming and then they maneuver this big old truck in a way. They do all of this rejiggering of the machine to get the pod itself nice and snuggled up to the curb. It happened within the span of 10 and 15 minutes. It was a great experience.

Fantastic all the way through!!! From the day they picked up to the day they dropped off. I even hired movers through PODS to help unload the next day when the PODS arrived. I would recommend this to everyone. The Local PODS storage area was very close to my new house so when I was ready to schedule the drop off it was perfect. I would not hesitate to use PODS again.

I was referred by a sister-in-law to PODS and I used them for moving and storing my furniture. The cost was high, but it was worth it. When I booked over the phone, the rep was wonderful. The drivers were very knowledgeable and helpful. They placed the pod where I wanted it placed. The driver that brought the pod to my current location was wonderful as well. Before he left, he asked us to open the trailer door. There was an item that was stuck. He worked hard in moving the item that was blocking the door from opening.

My cousin did PODS when he moved from New York to Texas, and he had a good experience. I used them as well for moving. I booked a 16-footer and my experience booking online was good. The drivers did a fantastic job. The only one thing was there were a couple of agents I had a hard time understanding. I had some things where I would get a discount but I couldn't understand them.

The delivery and pick up of POD was fine. My issue is the door would not roll up properly. My neighbor in Chicago had considerable trouble getting the door to roll up. I called the main office about the defective door and was told someone came out and got it opened. I remained home waiting for this person. He never rang my doorbell, my phone showed only my calls to PODS for a time frame. It was a horrible experience.
