Having acquired the services of this company, Amerisafe, was the best decision I could have made. They were very careful with the objects, and kind, and the experience was incredible, the journey from Kansas to Colorado was very comfortable, 100% recommended for moving, with the confidence that the company provides.

They were amazing, had great attitudes, and explained everything very well!! Great team!! I would definitely recommend to all my friends! They were very nice to my dogs and gentle with my furniture!!! Daniel explained my estimate to me very well and went through my quote in thorough detail. I did not even need to call customer service because of how knowledgeable the team was on everything.

I did my move with Cobra and, Amerisafe send it us. This move been weren't be easy for us without their help. Thanks Amerisafe and Cobra to help me out with my move. They really took care about my stuff. Highly recommended. Thanks again guys.

This is not a real moving company; it's a broker company. Please, please stay away from them. They called me, and the representative convinced me to pay a deposit based on a very low estimate of 900 cubic feet, with a total charge of over $5,200. When it came time to load my items, they sent a different company—Best Quality Movers. This company re-estimated and determined I needed 1,400 cubic feet. When I called to address the issue, they told me there was nothing they could do and I had to pay the additional $2,000. They never refunded the difference.

These guys are a scam. They broke two TVs cost 7.5 K dollar and they run away from claiming insurance Bring us any information in general. They have multiple answers For any question you have. It doesn’t matter who’s packed. There is no insurance because they don’t want to. They like only to get paid and then don’t like to take responsibility for their job Or contractors because they don’t have workers. No one in this office knows who is the owner or who should I contact in case my stuff got broken. Don’t pay them a penny, you’re going to regret. I’m talking about the TVs only. I don’t start talking about the table, the minibar and my sound bars. They also always promise you everything so you can hang up because they need to keep scam other people.

The actual movers were great. AmeriSafe ripped us off. Gave a completely inaccurate estimate and I was supposed to receive a call back from a supervisor but never got a call. If we weren’t on a deadline to move I would’ve told them to kick rocks. Avoid using at all costs unless you wanna get ripped off.

Long-distance and interstate moving can be confusing and stressful, but I was fortunate to have outstanding customer care from Geovany. He went above and beyond to partner with me on my move and to ensure that all my questions and concerns were addressed competently and timely.

Customer service was outstanding throughout the entire process. Awful deceptive crooks. They made our cross country move a total nightmare. Stay away! They showed up over a day late & took forever then charged way over the estimate & took weeks to deliver our property when they told us it would be much sooner. They over promise & under deliver.

My mother in law is moving from New Jersey to North Carolina and we reached out to several movers for quotes and their expert advice. After speaking with several companies we settled on Ameri Safe who had a reasonable quote and some great advice. They contacted us several times prior to the move to check on things and to make sure we were ready. On the day of the move, the movers were prompt and during the walk through realized that there was more than we thought. We worked through the differences and they were excellent through the pack out process.

The company reached out and offered a financial settlement which we agreed upon.

This is my first time moving long distance after living in CT for over 65 years. I was looking for a reputable moving company and I found AmeriSafe Moving services, I am very happy that I found them. They explained everything to me and they promised me that everything will go fine. They were total right, movers came on time did the walkthrough and noticed that we have additional items and packing materials but they worked with me and gave me a great price. I am so grateful to have this great company and excellent movers, very professional and efficient. I will definitely recommend AmeriSafe to anyone looking for a great company ❤️❤️.

Avoid AmeriSafe Moving Services at all costs. Sam **, their dishonest representative, will lure you in with a low quote, repeatedly assuring you that it's all-inclusive with no hidden fees. No matter how many times you ask, they’ll insist there are no extra charges. But when the movers arrive—often just a day before your move—you’ll be blindsided by a surprise "binding fee," which is simply their commission, pocketed under the guise of a down payment. This fee is never disclosed in any paperwork or contracts until it’s too late, leaving you with no choice but to pay under duress.

First time moving cross country and reach out to Amerisafe Moving Services to help us. They were very quick in responding to our inquiry, Jimmy was good in helping us get all set up. Movers arrived on time for pickup. Upon arrival they started the process of emptying out both units. They were very meticulous ensuring our items and furniture will arrive damage free. They going to make sure we get it on time in FL as we going to be there only for couple of days. Highly recommend AmeriSafe to anyone. 10/10.

Things got very miscommunicated with the moving dates and the inventory but the movers were able to accommodate us to the best of their abilities which we really appreciate it because moving is never fun but those guys did it right. Great experience with the moving team. Smooth experience, they helped with all the boxes and even the things which were additional were accommodated very easily. Excellent explanations for the entire process and they worked with us on price. The time it will take to get to our destination is pretty quick as well including the extra stop in the middle to pick up some things. Would recommend AmeriSafe for the next move!

We recently used Amerisafe for cross country move from NJ to Michigan and couldn’t be happier with their service. After 20 years living in beautiful Morristown, NJ we decided to move to Bogart, GA. We contacted AmeriSafe to find us the movers for what we believe will be are forever home. 20 years of memories furniture, dishes and our dog were cared for by the movers Amex. We are stunned by what we have accumulated and the gentle hands with which they are touching our things. We really appreciate the team who are working very hard to make our delivery date as we ask for. I would work with this companies anytime.

I want to start by saying that I never leave reviews (I have maybe left 1 before), but our moving experience was so terrible that I want others to be warned. My fiance and I recently hired Amerisafe to handle our move from North Carolina to Louisiana. My fiance and dad both spoke to the Amerisafe employee, Jimmy, (I'm honestly not sure what his job title is), and reported he was very nice and helpful. So we hired them and that's when things changed.

I was a bit concerned from the beginning but, they alleviated my worries by performing their very best service and the pickup/delivery personnel are absolutely outstanding and kind and very courteous so if you're looking for an outstanding and kind and courteous hard working who will deliver your goods kindly and safely again, I can't recommend highly enough, I'm incredibly impressed, thank you so much for providing such a superior service.

We arranged for Amerisafe (a moving broker, which we were not told at first) to set up our move from Oklahoma to Colorado in April of this year. Initially, we were very pleased, as we were guaranteed a 26-foot truck for ourselves, one that would not be weighed but was part of a deal. We were able to specify exactly what days we wanted for pickup and delivery. Pickup in Oklahoma went smoothly (SDJ Movers) but on the day of delivery, the truck did not arrive. On calling the company, they apologized and said the truck would arrive the next day. Apparently the truck never left OK when it should have.

Tony and his associate provided exceptional service with both my loading and unloading. He pointed out damage on my furniture from a prior mover before packaging that I was unaware of. I was disappointed that my last movers hid their damage from me. Moving is stressful on a good day. Tony quickly removed my stress with his calming, reassuring words. I was beyond fortunate to have such attentive and considerate movers!

AmeriSafe is a broker so you don’t know who will be your mover. The original quote is not firm. We paid significantly more than quoted after everything was packed. The supplemental insurance from UMIS is a scam. You have to file within 7 days of delivery. I was verbally told I had 6 months to file. The mover they sent was Ocean Moving and Storage. They were the worst packers ever. We have items broken and damaged because there was no packing in the box. The photos attached are a small sample of how poorly our goods were packed. Save yourself the stress and tears - Get a firm fixed quote from a real mover. Don’t make my mistake.

Although this move has (so far) gone fairly smoothly, there are a few issues that we need to comment on: the pre-move inventory and estimate was rushed and very inaccurate. “Leo” really wanted to make the sale. One day prior to moving day both the inventory and cost had to be redone; it ended up costing us twice the original estimate. We would have not committed to you at the final price but 1 day prior to move our options were extremely limited.

Updated on 09/07/2024: This is an update to a previous review. Our furniture was picked on August 4 and it is now September 7 and our furniture has still not been delivered. I keep getting the run around when I call. Been getting different days told to me for the last week and a half for our delivery date. If it wasn’t for me calling there would be zero communication. This company is very dishonest. They will tell you nothing but lies. I was told I would have my furniture in 4 days and here I am 30+ days from the day they picked up our furniture. They did offered me $1000 off my $25000 move price. Which is also $4200 more than my original bid. Stay clear this place is a joke!!!!

Do not use this company!!! We set up an initial quote for an upcoming move, but did not have a specific move date. The sales staff informed us that the quoted price is locked in, but when we gave them the actual move date, they increased their rate and charged and extra $400+ charge. Since they changed the condition of the terms, we cancelled. They provided absolutely no services to me and refused to return my full refund of almost $1,500. It is a dishonest company. How can they justify keeping $1,500 for zero services rendered?

The professional moving crew that packed our belongings was led by Denys ** and they did a very good job. Nothing was lost or damaged when the truck was unloaded 650 miles away. Denys was very good at keeping us informed of progress during the 2-day packing/loading process. I would recommend AmeriSafe Moving Services and US Prime Moving Services after this great experience.

Don’t call AmeriSafe Moving because they are brokers, not a moving company. Andrew ** (may not be a real name) is a scammer because nothing is liable after leaving a big deposit. They hired two scamming movers, True Way and Home&Office who tried to trick me to charge as much as they can. A truck driver from True Way Demanded high tips, although it was the worst experience ever. I ended up filed a police report but I learned that they probably have numerous companies with different names. Don’t deal with this scammer for putting you in misery.

Moving from one state to another and they made it very safe and reasonable. We chose AneriSafe to help us with the move. Emmett was great helping to set everything up. Movers came early. They need to wait for me as I came on a flight. They did the walk through and notice that we needed more space. They worked with me to keep it affordable and I am very satisfied. In the situation I am right now moving is very stressful and those guys made it for me. Thank you so much. Highly recommended.

If I could give 10 stars I would. There were two crews, the crew that moved my furniture from CT and the crew that delivered it to Florida. Both crews went above and beyond to care for my things. Not a scratch on my furniture. All of the movers were pleasant and knowledgeable. I’ve moved a lot. This move was the most stress free ever.

I was looking to move out of state and AmeriSafe was on it and helpful right from the start. They were able to help pack up and ship my items to my new home and everyone was very kind and helpful - every step of that way. The turnaround time from pick up to drop off was only a week - which was also really nice.

I am relocating for my job from Newark, DE to Charlotte, NC and I reach out to AmeriSafe to help me with the move. Leo was my salesman, He was very professional from start to finish. He answered all my questions and explained to me about bulky fee. Originally I booked with a different company and when they came to my house they tripled my price. I told them to leave right away and then called AmeriSafe. Movers came right on time. Did the walked through and notice that we had extra packing on space but they didn't charge me and kept the price the same as the one AmeriSafe provided me. They were very professional and efficient. I feel very grateful and blessed that I choose this company. Highly recommend to everyone.

Very responsive admin team and office when I had questions. They were very helpful movers. They Did a great job wrapping. I had more stuff than planned so price went up but very professional. Movers were very careful and knew what they were doing. Helpful with storage plans too.

I am moving to Fernandina Beach, FL and needed moving services and I called AmeriSafe moving services to help us with the move. Everything was fine sale person was polite and help me to set it up. Originally when I got the estimate they gave me the quote and 10 days prior I called to update and price went up, that is the only think that I didn't understood. The movers change the window one time but they made it and did excellent service Wappingers everything. I am very impressed with Amex team. I am happy now that they here and get the job done. They made it right for us.

I was moving a distance of about 500 miles, and the first mover only took the furniture (and charged a small fortune for it). That left all of the boxes and small items, which we piled 4' high in the garage. Not wanting to deal with renting a truck and driving myself, I called AmeriSafe. They quoted me a fair price, and the moving truck showed up right on time. It only took an hour and a half to load the truck and do the paperwork. The crew were efficient and professional, and I was pleased to get everything loaded and get on the road in good time.

The team was right on time and finished the job fast, while taking care of my things to avoid any damage. The packing was done with great care, and the customer service was great too, they were always available. The movers were polite and skilled, which made the whole process easy for me. Over 10k in damages, 25 days past the first delivery date and half of our items are still missing. Amerisafe keeps ignoring us and pushing any complaints off. They are a blood-sucking brokerage with no respect for their clients.

Sales guy full of promises and assurances, multiple calls (diff person each time) validating info, giving same assurances.. Loading day all is fine till it wasn't. No call that day as promised with delivery time for next day. 6 days later after calling every day, being told each time will be called by end of day with a delivery date, a random call from a someone who won't give his name that he is on way driving overnight.. So I let my son (now alone since my return home was last week) meet a no name person with no communication from this broker? And now states moving it in alone? 1 person? Have to give him cash without seeing it is even all there? Already threatening to charge more for parking too far when not even there? Customer service line and supposed managers refuse to give any info.

After living in MD for over 17 year we decided to move to Milton, FL as we retired. We called AmeriSafe after finding online with good rating, through every step of promises was kept and we were very happy with the service. The movers called me 1 hour prior to arrival time, estimate on arrival was right on point. They started working and wrapped all the furniture and did a full pack service and what I really liked that their boxes has their name on it, very professional and organized. Henry and team were very friendly, efficient and helpful. I am happy that I choose Amerisafe and Amex to do our move. Will definitely recommend to anyone.

I had to move from IL to CA due to family situation. I look up for moving company and found AmeriSafe. They recommend me Cobra Van Lines. Gio and Juan showed up on time to pick up everything and then a week later its was send with tractor trail. We are so happy we found Amerisafe that found Cobra Van Lines. This guys are great. We are super happy with all the services.

$756 added to my fees by the pickup/delivery company that AmeriSafe Moving contracted for my move. I contacted both your company and the pickup/delivery regarding my overcharge. The other company reviewed my situation immediately and refunded $300 to my credit card. I heard nothing from AmeriSafe until today when a customer service representative called to ask about my experience. I told her the same as above… overcharged $756 from your original bill. She offered $200 upfront if I would sign a disclosure OR she could reach out to Management and see if they would refund more. I asked for Management review. Right… she called back and said the offer was now $100. Would you be satisfied with less offer from Management?... I. Am. Not. A. Happy. Customer!…

Booked through Amerisafe. Process was fast and easy. Crew workers came right on time and ready to work. They are very professional. Everything was handled with care. All staff were friendly and willing to help and pack everything with care. Thank you Amex and Amerisafe. If we ever had to move again we would and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Interstate move - I reached out to Amerisafe. Very timely communication. Customer service were good. They called me to give me an update on the time of my move. Amex moving crew showed up exactly on time. Accommodated same day move. Very careful and efficient packing. Super friendly. Kendry and team were awesome and made the moving process painless.

Great experience with Imad, always responsive and hard working. It was a heavy move during this heat, but they stood up to the challenge. Highly recommend Imad and his team. Would definitely use them again, hopefully I don’t have to but you never know.

I called Amerisafe to help me with my move to AZ after living in Binghamton for 52 years. Experience was good with Chris and Conner. Movers came right on time, they called me 30 minutes prior to arrival. They did an amazing job, efficient, professional and pleasant. We had more items and also more packing and they helped with the price that I am so happy. My son will be moving to Arizona also and we definitely use Amerisafe so they can send us AMEX as they explained me that if we want to rebook we must call Amerisafe. Thank you so much.

Ivan with his team did a great job, they were awesome. They made sure everything on its places as I asked to do it. On of our sofa gave them some hard time but they took the door of and made sure it went through the kitchen. So now it's on its place and I am happy about it.

This company did not make it clear that they are brokers, not the actual moving company. They sent out an unrecognized, and unprofessional moving company which was a day late, and separated belongings in different trucks/moving companies. The insurance purchased is almost nonuseable since the small details in the contract make it so you can’t claim, and are limited grossly per item. Total fraud. They demand cash/check, so that you have no recourse, and hold your belongings hostage once they have unsafely loaded your belongings. Run from this company.

I am moving from Clifon, NJ to Davenport, FL after living in NJ for 50 years. I hired AmeriSafe moving services to help me with this move.. I was very nervous in the beginning as this is my first long distance move but I am so thrilled with their services. The honored the date I wanted and packed 3 fragile for no charge.. No hidden fee. I had such a positive experience with my We the Best crew on packing and loading all of my possessions in order to transport them from Nebraska to SC. After 30 some years of accumulating ‘stuff’, not once during the time that Dan and his fellow worker (I apologize that I did not write down that young man’s name) were packing and loading from 9:15 – 2:45 did they ever make me feel anything but positive about what they needed to do! If they had a question, they asked and when I asked a question, they answered and made me feel like they were available for whatever I needed to get my possessions where they need to be. I also appreciate Kate for sharing with me all of the moving information/schedule/process. Kate also was available at any time for me to call or text her with any questions. I would recommend We the Best for anyone’s packing and loading needs either locally or across the country! The crew that I worked with ROCK!!!

We moved from NY to PA with AmeriSafe. Service was excellent from start to finish. They picked up everything yesterday and today I am receiving my items (400 miles). They accommodate next day delivery as per my request and I am thrilled to have used them. Professional, efficient and pleasant. If you are looking for long distance move please go with Amerisafe you not going to regret it. AMEX was our carrier. Outstanding service. Thank you so much for everything.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. The majority of our items were damaged or lost! The icing in the cake - to get money back for our items they want a signed statement saying we will not talk poorly of them.

I called him just to see if I could get a quote from them and they kept pounding me. Darren was one of the people and so I thought you know I'll give him a try and all I got was to run around. I could never get back in touch with Darren. I kept getting this bad and then I had a cobra Van lines contact me and pick up my stuff and I still haven't seen my stuff. It's been over a week now and it's only 1600 miles and so where is my stuff. Can't get ahold of anybody to get a any type of update as to where everything is. They were shoddy at picking my stuff up and they didn't do a good job. I would never ever recommend this company.

I am extremely happy I found this company AmeriSafe moving services. We moving from Bronx, Nay to Bethel Park, PA. I had called a few other companies and they weren’t willing to do the things I needed done. The entire team from the customer service reps to the movers themselves, demonstrated a high level of professionalism and genuine care throughout the entire process. I am writing this review while they are working as I am so happy to see the work. We have so many items, that it not on the papers but they helping me and I wanted to get my items tomorrow (nest day) in PA 350 miles and they going to do it for me. I am blessed to have this experience as there is so much bad stories in this moving industry. Highly recommended.

As a native New Yorker of 60 years recently retired I decided to move to Florida and choose to work with AmeriSafe. After checking their ConsumerAffairs website we were feeling comfortable. Movers came very early packed everything, they were very professional, efficient and prompt. Javier and team were just amazing. They took the stress away from me and made moving process painless. We used AmeriSafe Moving Services for state to state move of 600 miles. They picked up and wrapped up everything. There were a couple dings and dents, but that's normal when you're moving. They were good movers. They were a little expensive but the rep my wife worked with was really nice. We had one issue where we didn't understand something but he was there to help us with it.

AmeriSafe is a good company. They called an hour before the move. I thought they would have called a little earlier, but they gave us an hour timeframe. Then they arrived and picked us up. They explained to us what needed to be packed. We have TVs and some fragile items. My girlfriend has plates she didn't pack because we didn't have enough time and we were wondering if they could help us. They charged us more money, but they did it.

Amerisafe emailed me an inventory list which I filled out and then I emailed it back to them. Once they received my email, they called me up with a price. It was a pretty reasonable price so agreed to it and then they emailed me the contract and I signed it. The mover showed up around 10:30 a.m. It was a small move. It was just a two-bedroom. There were two guys and the driver. The driver kind of sat in the cab. He didn't do much. But the two workers wrapped up all the furniture. I had everything packed for them, so all they had to do was just the furniture. So they wrapped everything up for me and loaded it. Then the next day, I was in Grand Rapids. Amerisafe is a good moving company. They have very polite movers. If you need to move in a jiff, give them a ring.

I found AmeriSafe online and I called them. They gave me a price, we went through it and I agreed. They gave me one of the carriers in their network. AmeriSafe is a good company. Leo, the person I worked with, helped me out with the move. He explained a lot to me to make the move go.

AmeriSafe Moving Services had good reviews. I called them and the salesman was very nice and knowledgeable. He went through the list of items in my house and then gave me a quote. I told him I'd call him back and I talked it over with my wife. I got one other quote and it was cheaper but I liked AmeriSafe better. They had a bit better reviews and I liked the carrier they gave me. We decided to go with it and it was a good experience.

Amerisafe has reached out to me and assured me that my account would be credited with the money that I paid to them for my deposit.

Moving from Syosset, NY to Miami Florida. We choose AmeriSafe for our long distance move, the best choice we did. From first call to the day of our move excellent service. Movers came right on time, very professional, efficient and great performance. I am amazed by their work. I moved couple of times but never had such a great movers. The way they wrapped all our furniture is outstanding and amazing. Thank you so much for both AmeriSafe & Amex. Keep up the great work guys.

AmeriSafe reached out after hearing about my experience and were able to get me a partial refund for the long walk fee that Jackson Movers charged. Jackson Movers still have not given me an ETA for my things. I feel better about my experience with AmeriSafe, but I would still recommend others to stay away from Jackson Movers.

If I could do a -10 review I would. From the original quote to final quote, it landed up being close to 16k. They did not wrap or pack anything or number ANYTHING. The first movers were best clean and polite, very timely. The second set of movers, were planned, but we had to delay by one day. They charged us $1600 dollars! Even though the booker of the move said it was a free storage for 30 days. We rescheduled for the following Monday. They ghosted us. Plain disappeared. The driver was in contact with my husband confirming the move in time, then stopped responding. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! Finally they showed up. A day later. To early to move in d/t HOA rules. They were made aware of move in times, multiple times.

My family is moving from Connecticut to North Carolina and we choose Amerisafe Moving Services and right away they knew everything they were doing. We didn’t have to worry about anything. Through the entire day Amex was being very kind and answering all our questions. They made the process very easy for us and packed all our things very carefully. Aiden, customer service supervisor, reached out and was very concerned with the outcome of my move. I was offered a partial refund and made note of the fact that it was the moving company, not AmeriSafe, that fell short on the job.

We used Amerisafe when we moved from California to Illinois. We were hoping it was gonna be a little cheaper, but it was expensive. We packed all the boxes and and they did all the furniture and the loading which took them half a day. They arrived in the time frame that they estimated which was 2 weeks. The leg was broken on one of the chairs but other than that everything was good. Amerisafe is a good service. They called me when they needed to and if I had any questions, they answered it.

We had some difficulty with communication with Amerisafe. They did not inform us that they were a broker company that sourced their movers out. This was our first out of state move (Virginia to Maryland) so we did not know all the questions to ask. They would only answer very specific questions and were somewhat vague in their answers when it came to the actual moving company. Therefore, we did not know much information about the move until the day or two before.

We moving from Centereach, NY to Simpsonville, SC and AmeriSafe helped us with the move. The moving company AMEX came on time very professional wrapped the furniture as needed. They answered all my questions and they already have a truck to load out items to SC (very fast delivery). I must says that the crew were very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended to anyone thank you Amerisafe for helping us to find a great moving company!!

AmeriSafe Moving is the most lying, cheating company that is allowed to do business. They give you one quote then when they get your belongings loaded they tell you it is going to be twice the amount that they quoted you. They charge you fees upfront that they will not refund. Then you -have to wait approximately 17-30 days to get your belongings even though you paid extra for them to deliver your belongings same day. When you get your belongs, if you get them, they will be damaged or lost. You file a claim with them and they only want to give you .60 cents a pound. They tell you that you should have paid the 500.00 insurance fee that they want. This is all after they quoted you 2300.00 but charge over 5 grand for the move. DO NOT use this company. If you make the mistake of doing so, report them to every agency that you can. They are con artists. They also have morons working for them.

We hired AmeriSafe to help us move from CT to MA. Everything was great. Movers came and did the walk through and it was missing items on the inventory and we had packing and long carry but they didn't charge us extra. The kept the price as the original quote. Vlad and Issaac from Vangaurd Lines LLC did a really great job packing and moving our household belongings. We ended up having more stuff than we had originally thought and they adjusted accordingly and packed our stuff perfectly into the truck. I feel that they took care of our belongings and would definitely recommend this team.

The move itself was stressful, and I had some issues with the carriers but the company quickly resolved the issues and made me feel heard. I feel comfortable recommending them knowing that my issue will never happen to another person again.

The moving company Amerisafe set us up with was amazing! They were very professional, efficient and went above and beyond to make our moving process as simple and smooth as it could be. We were moving my 80+ year old parents to another state and they were so kind and the movers were so compassionate as they packed up their belongings. The professionals from Pro Quality Relocation that packed our home for our move from Tennessee to Florida did an amazing job. Care in packing, handling, loading and inventory were handled professionally and exceeded our expectations. The team worked late into the early morning hours to get us packed loaded and out so that the new owners could move in going well beyond expectations. I had a terrible experience with AmeriSafe. On the day of my move, I discovered numerous additional charges, such as for long distances. Even though I had paid an extra fee for living on the fifth floor, it was insufficient, and I would have had to pay an additional $1,000 to transport my belongings to the truck. They provide an initial estimate that seems reasonable, making you believe it will stay that way until they arrive at your home and assess various factors that cause the cost to double.

Used AmeriSafe to find me a reputable mover in my area. Always skeptical because I've had horrible experiences in the past with stolen and broken items or just putting stuff wherever and leaving it. They found 500-Move for me and I couldn’t be happier! They were the company that my household was transferred to in Arizona and they showed up when they said they would be here, unloaded an entire 4-bedroom house in less than 4 hours and even put my bed back together for me and unwrapped all my furniture for me. I barely had to lift a finger other than to point to where to put something. Great experience and I would use again!

We moved from New Jersey to South Carolina. AmeriSafe was good. They quoted me over the phone. They gave me a price, and they scheduled one of their carriers to show up and pick me up. They picked me up on the time and they delivered me. It was a good move.

I was in a pinch and had to move in a rush so I didn’t have too many choices having to move with just a few days notice. I was quoted a certain amount for a long haul move & immediately after the pickup company arrived, I was told it’d be $1200 more than previously quoted. I obviously don’t have much of a choice but to pay. Then, as I’m currently awaiting my arrival, my driver calls me and says it’s just him and he’ll be delivering ALL of my stuff alone. I told him I didn’t think it was possible for him to move my stuff alone, as the new place has quite a few flights of stairs. I also don’t want this move to take the entire day, I’ve just never heard of one person moving an entire house alone.

Wow, what a great experience with the broker and the moving company. AmeriSafe sent us AMEX to do our move from Bronx, NY to Florida. Guys came right on time and wrapped all my furniture with moving blankets and shrink wrap. I move before and had bad experience but those guys definitely exceeded my expectations. I went online and filled something out, and one of AmeriSafe’s reps gave me a call. We went through some of the details of what I was moving and from where to where. They gave me a price and it was a little higher than I was planning on paying. But they assured me that they had a couple of departments if I ever needed anything and they would help me through with the entire move. A couple of normal things happened during the move and with some furniture but it’s expected. AmeriSafe did a good move so I was happy with the service. Connor, the person I worked with, was good too.

AmeriSafe was a little expensive. I had two moves with them and one was from Connecticut to Florida. The service was good but I didn't really get to speak to the driver until he showed up.

The reps at AmeriSafe were friendly on the phone and they made it easy to set up the move. We were moving from our two-bedroom apartment to our three-bedroom home and it was a seamless transition. They booked me for half of one of their standard trucks. They came in and started packing the place up. They did a walkthrough and double-checked everything. They were productive as well. I thought it was gonna take longer but it seemed like they didn't stop working. For the most part, I had a good experience.

Setting up the move easy and the move went well. AmeriSafe offered really good service on the phone and they told me what they were gonna do. We paid the deposit and when the movers showed up, they went around and they looked at the list that we provided to AmeriSafe. They made sure everything was correct and they loaded the truck. It took a little longer to get to Oregon than what they told us, though. They told us it was gonna be 7 to 12 days and it took about 15 to 16 days before we got delivered. Also, the price changed a little but it was not too bad. We expected it because my wife added a whole bunch of stuff on. Everything got here in one piece. I always hear these horror stories about moving and I didn't have anything horrible other than that my furniture got delayed. I would definitely recommend AmeriSafe to someone.

They moved my whole house across state lines. Setting up was super easy and they didn’t need much direction at all. It was a Seamless operation. Unloaded the whole truck very fast and efficiently. Like so many others… DO NOT USE this horribly shady company. I booked a move from FL to MO. I was told max cost 4000. I have an already packed storage unit for a 1 bedroom apartment. Amerisafe told me that Friday was my moving day and that Saturday was backup for inclement weather. I was also told that I would be called Thursday with the approximate time for movers to arrive. No one contacted me on Thursday so I called them. Was told, "Your move is Saturday and someone will call you Friday."

I wish I had done my research on this company. They give you a lowball quote and then it’s 3x more when the contracted movers arrive! They know you’re stuck at that point. Rude and unprofessional!! They are a broker and then subcontract the work. They will say anything to get your money. When I asked to speak with a manager to share my complaints, I was told no and hung up on. Learn from my mistake and do not trust them!

The movers picked up our items 2 days ago from MA to MD arrived on time. We asked them to deliver on the 25th that is today and they made it happened. They called us 30 minutes prior to arrival, they put everything where need to go and did an Amazing jobs assembling all our furniture, couldn't be more happier. Very very polite and courteous. Update: My stuff did arrive within the most recent time frame given to me. After writing this review the company reached out to provide me with a definite day when my stuff arrived. Like during pick-up, delivery went well. My stuff was delivered efficiently and all in good condition.

AmeriSafe moving services surpasses all comparable moving services companies! Steve was my salesman he booked my move from NJ to FL. The guys came right on time and did fabulous work. This company took advantage of an 82 year old with dementia. She hired them just by googling “good moving company” not knowing they are out of Florida - she is in Arkansas. Made her put 7k down payment and a total of 14k to move a 2 bedroom across town. When we the family found out and tried to cancel over 30 days before the scheduled move, the company refused to give back deposit. Horrible experience and likely just scammers. Local movers charged her $1600.

A terrible experience overall. Hired them to move my one bedroom condo from San Diego to Minneapolis. I was told at the time I signed the paperwork that my stuff would be arriving in 7-10 business days from pickup. That was on June 28th and it’s now July 23rd and I still don’t have an ETA for when it’s coming. They just blame everything on the 3rd parties they contract with. It’s been almost a month since they picked up my stuff and I’ve been living on an air mattress because of it and NO ONE cares.

We moving from Byfield, MA to Centerville, MD and we booked with AmeriSafe to do the move. Movers came on time and did the walkthrough and notice that packing for my job wasn't there even after they told us it was going to be included. The movers helped us to get it done and helped us with the price. Movers did great job. Very professional.

Only one piece of furniture was protected by wrapping in blanket. My grandmother’s dresser was damaged. I requested all furniture be loaded in the truck FIRST. Mover told me there was enough room and loaded the garage first. Not enough room on the truck to put all the furniture! Boxes were delivered to wrong place even though every box and tote container was labeled…. kitchen, bathroom, garage, basement etc. I spent half of the next day putting boxes where the movers should have put them. I had to rent a truck to move the rest of the furniture.

I am moving from Massachusetts to North Carolina and hired Amerisafe to do my move. The movers were extremely helpful and professional. Everything was smooth and at ease. We need to utilize some more space and they were accommodative without charging me extra. If you are looking for a seamless and stress less experience I would highly recommend this service. I used AmeriSafe to move a relatively small amount of items from Pittsburgh to Phoenix. Everything felt on the up and up but it’s been almost a month and I still do not have my stuff. They said they can’t check on the weekends but to call them on Monday. This is terrifying. I don’t have much in this world but what I do have was loaded into their truck and I am afraid I’ll never see it again.

Let me begin by saying that I usually do not make reviews, but I felt a deep need to warn other folks! My first encounter with Amerisafe was spectacular! I worked with an amazing representative named Colin who was so patient, knowledgeable, and kind several months before I moved. Once my moving date became closer I made very few changes to my inventory that resulted in an immediate charge of over $1,000 same day. Warning: have your inventory items correct the day of your quote because if not you will be expected to pay any changes same day! This was an understandable requirement so I continued to persist with this company.

The team was professional, well-organized, and very courteous. All this at transparent and competitive price, aligned with the estimate. I definitely recommend AmeriSafe and I will use them again for my future moves!

Amerisafe is one of the worst, and least customer-centric, companies I have ever worked with. We spent over $12K to move from Dallas, TX to Knoxville, TN and were promised “white glove” service from end to end. In fact, the company initially underbid us (leading to headache and additional costs later), the packing was inconsistent and haphazard, the carrier was non-communicative and missed several promised delivery dates with no explanation, and customer service was largely unhelpful, curt, and in some cases, outright rude.

I contacted Amerisafe moving services to perform an interstate move of my three bedroom. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service they provided. They sent me a company called Amex and the guys were extremely professional and friendly. They handled my furniture with care. I been here for 40 years and had a lot of things to move. I would suggest them to anyone and couldn’t be more pleased with their service!!!

If I could leave zero stars I would. Carefully review their cancellation policy before using this company. It is a scam. My 82 year old grandma with dementia hired this company without our family’s knowledge, and put down a deposit of over $7000. The total was going to be over $14,000!! For a small distance within our state, and a small house. My grandma did not understand that she was hiring out of state movers. By the time I realized her error, I tried to help her get it cancelled. They only gave her back $1400 of her $7000 deposit, even though we tried to cancel WEEKS in advance. When I explained to Kris (in charge of cancellation) of her situation, he was not at all understanding and said they wouldn’t change their policy for anyone. So they basically got $6000 out of my grandma for no services rendered at all. I am not one to complain, this is the first negative review I have written in my life. I’m disgusted with this company.

I have been helping my family contact movers to get a variety of quotes (we have been burned by previous movers being dishonest). It was my first time doing something like this and I tried to be as polite as possible because I want the best possible outcome for my family. I spoke with Sam, who was very professional at the start and asked legitimately helpful questions. He then offered the best rate we had been quoted for, if I was willing to pull the trigger immediately. I informed him I was not the final decision maker, and was just collecting quotes to compare, to make it easier for my family.

About 2 months ago used Amerisafe Moving for my move from New Jersey to Pennsylvania, with All Points Moving as the carrier, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience! The crew was incredibly efficient and handled everything with care right from the start. They packed up all my furniture and boxes expertly, ensuring nothing was damaged during the journey. The movers were punctual, arriving exactly when they said they would, and they completed the move smoothly and ahead of schedule. Throughout the entire process, both the broker and All Points Moving provided excellent communication, keeping me informed every step of the way. This level of transparency really gave me peace of mind during what could have been a stressful time.

They were sufferers with delicate things and wrapped everything well. Nothing was broken on one or the other move. Correspondence was perfect. They showed up on time for the two maneuvers and promptly started working rapidly once given introductory bearings. The costs are incredibly aggressive. I would enthusiastically suggest them.

I was very pleased with the AmeriSafe Movers who moved my apartment today. They were very professional as well as careful with my belongings. I appreciated that they took great care in wrapping my furniture. It is a rough job, but they did it very well. 5 stars!!! I would definitely recommend them to someone else.

As far as movers, they are quick and efficient. However be warned that the initial price you may have discussed with the representative will be way different than the price initially stated. Make sure to have your expenses in line because you may have to pay an additional 2 to 3 grand extra for the true fees. Customer service is great but again, they should stick to their initial prices and not bring in a completely different price day of pickups. Aside from that, the movers themselves are like I said quick and efficient.

If you can read this, DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY! This company will scam you, lie to you, and overcharge. They will misrepresent themselves as a moving company, quote you a great price just to get business, take inventory, then triple the price. These people are money hungry, they do not communicate, they only want money and will leave you high and dry with a large bill. These people will charge you long haul delivery fee even if the unit is five doors from the elevator. These people are dishonest. Save yourself the heartache and the extra money. This company utilized three different companies to deliver my things 30+ days from Maryland to Indiana. I REPEAT, “GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!” The movers damaged my belongings and walls. They will pay!

This past spring, after careful consideration and comparison of multiple companies, I decided to hired AmeriSafe moving services after my boss stepped in and tipped the scales, promising me that I would not regret my decision. These folks have assisted 3 of my colleagues in the last year and not a single family could find a complaint with the service. April 28th, my family’s entire 2000 square foot home was packed and loaded, room by room, with meticulous care, consideration and attention to detail. A week later our things were delivered in Florida safe and sound to our new home, properly unloaded as labeled and discussed. Not a single negative incident, resulting in another highly satisfied customer. Thank you so much for smooth move!!!

Please remember the following: The company named Amerisafe we hired for our move was a complete disaster. They initially quoted us $3000 with a percentage down to reserve the move. When we tried to list the items for our small two-room apartment, the boss stopped us, saying it was unnecessary to continue. This should have been a red flag.

When it comes to a review, if I could give a negative star, I would they oversell and under promise I was told with confidence we would have the best service white glove treatment, not have to move anything and it was the complete opposite. I understand that Amerisafe is a broker, but be responsible for the people that you broker out. They discarded all of our product all of our all of our belongings, you people are moving lives and you cannot care less. Worse company ever. We move every six years and we have never experienced such slack on follow through understanding. They are just a scam just like all moving companies. DO NOT USE.

I booked a job a with AmeriSafe Moving that had All Points Moving as my carrier and had an amazing experience! To start off they came with 3 guys who were able to handle every aspect of the move from start to finish. They handled every large item and box with care and were able to answer every question I had, overall super professional and I’ll be referring them to anyone else I know that will be moving.

I scheduled a move from New York to New Jersey. I cleared out my storage locker and moved it to the basement of my house. The service was prompt and thorough, no issues and I am a happy customer. Thanks very much to AMEX Moving and Storage, as well as Amerisafe, for a good move.

The agent will sell you whatever you want over the phone but it won’t match up to the contract. They quote you over the phone but then when the actual movers come, it’s suddenly double the size, which means double the price. In the contract they have all sorts of nickel and dime “extra costs” like if you have more than 7 stairs - there is a stair fee. And the customer service people are the worst! You can be in the middle of a sentence and they just put you on hold. I would never use them again.

I'm glad to say that now I have moved from Seattle to Portland, and during this time I have worked alongside Stephen, Jillian, Kris, and Veronica. They have a good sense of how to act and I was not worried as they taught their ways. Not only my moving was a positive one, but their sincere and highly reliable service also created a separate history in my mind. I am really quite pleased with the service and certainly would consider this business as the primary option for my moving at my next place.

On April 21, 2024, I hired the AmeriSafe Moving Services who contracts with other companies and assigned us to a company called All Points Moving and Storage. AmeriSafe never told me there would be another company moving her belongings. My daughter was moving to Florida and she need her possessions moved.

Joe and Mark did such a fantastic job with my items. They were very punctual and friendly. I would use this company again and recommend it to everyone. Their prices were very competitive and I just can’t say enough about the service and the level of dedication. These men have to do a craft. Job well done! I know

SCAM SCAM SCAM Alert! I spoke to a guy named Leo and he sent me a quote via email. He tried to bully me into immediately signing the paperwork. He said if I didn't sign it he would take off the 2k credit he gave me. I told him I had to wait on another quote. He got angry and was relentless about trying to make me sign. I told him they were scammers. BTW they are only brokers out of Florida. Leo sent me these text messages, "Thanks for wasting my time", "Aren't you embarrassed for spending someone's time, them offering you everything that you need, doing you a facetime and then not doing business with them. You're moving in 30 days not 6 months" "Plus the other company should've provided you a quote the same day not a week later. What kind of scammer is that calling us a scammer. Please have a good day. We do not want to service your route anymore. Good luck with your moving needs."

I used AmeriSafe for my recent move because of the positive reviews online. There were a few hiccups in the process, but AmeriSafe customer service was able to resolve all of them quickly. Overall positive experience.

I recently relocated from New Jersey to Charlotte NC and was in need of moving company. I reached out to AmeriSafe moving services and couldn’t have been happier with the service I got. From start to finish, everyone was professional, responsive and able to get me taken care of right away. My movers, Malvin and his team are were awesome. Super friendly and more importantly super careful with all of my furniture and managed to get some heavy items up a tricky staircase without any dings in the walls! 100% will be using them again and recommend them to all my friends and family!!

From the moment I placed the call for a quote (moving from NY TO FL) The attentiveness from Jason and the staff was superb!! The day of the move the crew showed up and in less than three hours had everything packed and organized in the truck from my one bedroom apartment. They are very pleasant and professional and they sure know what they are doing, A week later I received my furniture and again Raymond and his crew were spectacular. Not one item was damaged in the transportation of my furniture and they assembled and put everything where I wanted it. My roommate and I had to leave our rent house quickly due to a pipe bursting and the need for significant repairs in the home as a result. It was a huge help to have Cobra Van Lines. Mohamed, Will, and Ra did an awesome job. They were all careful and very thorough in packing our things. As soon as they started packing and I saw how detailed they were, I felt as though all my things would be in good shape. They were also personable, professionals in dealing with us (the tenants) and our landlord. I would recommend them to others! Overall, a great experience.

Joseph was really helpful in getting everything organized and set up. He made it very easy and explained everything to me well. And when Moe and Cobra Vanlines came to pick everything up they were quick and packed everything up nicely. They were professional and communicated very well with what to expect about the experience.

Both Alex’s and Zack were very efficient and helpful when they came. They even helped us take the couch and very heavy dresser down the the garbage area. They had all of their own equipment to get oue stuff to its final destination.

From start to finish moving with Amerisafe was a horrible experience and I’m sorry I ever trusted them with my move. I got a quote over the phone and listed all of my items, yes every single item. They sent me a quote, I paid the deposit, they show up and do a walk thru and all of the sudden my estimate doubles! This company lied to me over the phone when I first called them. The salesman assured me they would not go over the estimate but when I called them they made fun of me for not reading the full contract which basically says they can do whatever they want. Make sure you get a real person doing a live walkthrough or you will regret it. Do not use this company. They contract out but said they don’t. They also broke my elliptical.

Francisco and his associates arrived in a timely manner and called before arrival. Francisco was very polite and professional. Pickup was done in 1/2 an hour! And they took special care of my belongings and retaped all my boxes. They were amazing and fast! I will use this service again if necessary! Thank you!

All Point Movers were incredible!!!!! They were very nice, gave excellent notice before they arrived, polite, and the hardest working movers I've ever seen. They very quickly and carefully packed everything out and got it in the truck with ease. Best moving experience ever.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Absolutely the worst experience of my life. They are slick salespeople that's for sure. Promise to be there for you the entire time. Lie. Promise you won't have to pay more than quoted. Lie. They take your money, broker your move to disreputable movers who completely destroyed all my belongings, held my goods hostage for more money. When you call this company for help, they could care less. They got paid. You are on your own.

Moving is so stressful but this company made it seamless and stress free. I didn’t have to worry about a thing! The drivers were so attentive to my things! I am so happy to have chose them for this move. I would recommend them to anyone!!

Horrible people. Promised delivery and pickup dates to assisted living. Came a day late and now say delivery up to 2 weeks from pickup and then doubled the price based on footsteps. Nobody lives within 75 feet of the side walk. All bait and switch from what sales rep said and what actually happens.

These guys did a fantastic job. They were hard working and professional and courteous and patient with our needs and items. They wrapped items carefully and delivered all items safely and efficiently. Jeff, Randy, and Roland were kind to our children and parents. Several items were heavy, but delivered without complaint or any issue. Highest possible recommendation. Give these guys a raise!

Frank with AmeriSafe Moving services was great to work with. We spent about a hour on the phone doing a complete inventory to make sure the quote was accurate. The price was very fair compared to the other ones I was getting. On the move day the 2 movers that came out were very professional and efficient. They wrapped all my furniture with pads and shrink wrapped it. They transported everything from Ohio to Illinois in 2 days. I would highly recommend this company if you’re moving. Thanks AmeriSafe

We move from Chicago to TX, 3 months before the move we contacted Amerisafe Moving, they helped us a lot with the move and linked us with best quality movers. Move was done right, we received our furniture within days, no damages, price was not the cheapest on the market but it was worth it, thank you amerisafe

The moving teams from the brokered company (Home & Office Movers) did an excellent job taking care of our items at pickup and dropoff, and the rate secured by AmeriSafe was very competitive. So from a job perspective, overall very well done. However, as a first-time mover there was a bit of anxiety about the process because several AmeriSafe contacts were frequently unavailable and occasionally made you feel like you were a burden to them. I was rushed through the initial contract signing by a sales rep. AmeriSafe reps also frequently told us that our ~200 mile move would be a one day job, which was not the case, and there were sometimes delays. I think you run into more logistical hurdles by using a moving broker, but the price may override those problems if you have some level of time flexibility.

I called in Amerisafe for a move from NJ to MA and they did an amazing job, they were able to work with me on the dates that I have selected, the representative on the phone was able to walk me thru the whole process on what needs to happen and what will happen. The crew that they sent were amazing, they went over everything with me and took extra care of all my items, they wrapped everything and took their time doing it. Thank you all for an amazing job
