Horrible company that is a moving broker. They take no responsibility for their services. They lied to us about the total cost, payment options, and delivery date. Our property arrived smelling like sewage. The delivery driver said all the property at the storage smelled like that. Our property was damaged and we were only able to salvage some of our property by excessive cleaning. Some property had to be thrown away, because we were unable to get rid of the smell. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

AmeriSafe is a company that will provide you with a very low quote, no matter how diligent you are about your inventory, and will then charge you thousands more in the end. The movers that they contracted to do my move were extremely unprofessional and frankly, made me very nervous. They were face timing and watching movies while they packed up my house. The day before pick, up the Amersafe representative,Steven, called and went through the exact same inventory I did with the original quoter Mark. Steven shook me down for an additional $1000.

I wish I could give zero stars. Avoid AmeriSafe at all costs if you’re looking for clear communication and a trustworthy moving experience. My partner and I moved from Washington to Oregon, and from the very beginning, there were major inconsistencies between AmeriSafe and the third-party movers they outsourced. On moving day, the movers were nearly six hours late. During that time, we had to repeatedly contact AmeriSafe for updates and they never once reached out to us proactively.

On 12-23-24, we paid Amerisafe Moving Services $822.00 and $1012 on 12-23-24 to initiate the move from Greenback, TN to Springfield, MO. You subcontracted the move to Perfectly Fast Moving (additional cost). They showed up on 12-29-24 to start the move. We had nothing but issues on the loading, transport to a warehouse in North Carolina and eventually a reload of our items and delivery three + weeks later (delivery on 01-21-25). End result was loss of items due to failure to load some of our items at the warehouse and/or thru theft.

I had a great experience with Amerisafe for my move from Illinois to California. Everything was packed well and arrived safely. The team was quick, friendly, and professional, and they came right on time. Delivery was completed within 10 business days just as promised. I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend Amerisafe to anyone planning a move!

Be prepared, they will underbid to get your business, then call back a few days before your move and jack up the price under the guise of "quality assessment". The scam cost me $5000. It's a common issue with movers where they have your stuff, or hit you when you are vulnerable. Well, after sending a deposit. So you really have no recourse but to pay them more than their competition for the move. They are a broker, use shady advertisement tactics, such as online firms that get paid to put them on top of their ranking list. Don't be fooled. Do a simple Google search. Search BBB and you'll see.

The cost was almost twice the quote. They have you over a barrel because you have to get your belongings moved. Lost many boxes and received boxes belonging to others. It was horrible. I read the trouble others had with filing a claim. It was a joke. I also called to report we had extra boxes not belonging to us and never was contacted with a way to return other people's belongings.

After looking for a Moving company, we found the only one that does every aspect of the move is Mayflower, which did not fit our timeline. We went through Amerisafe. They were certainly eager to gain our business. Once we chose them, we had no transparency in regard to who would be moving, where our furniture would be stored, how much it would REALLY cost.. It was a nightmare. Raising prices, holding our furniture hostage until we paid in cash. Frankly if you can't get Mayflower, rent a pod and do it yourself. For a 4 bedroom house, moved 1/2 locally and 1/2 to Nevada. All in it cost us almost $27,000.00. They are slick so be careful.

ZAZA, Davis, Taylor, and Eddie were so incredibly helpful for my move. I requested to be moved from a storage unit into a 3rd floor apartment and they were able to do it in 2.5 hours, even with all of my huge furniture and in Florida. The guys were so friendly and easy to talk to. They also were open and honest about pricing and I believe it was so worth it. Thank You for Sending BRISTOL MOVING! 100% would use AMERISAFE again and will next time I decide to move!! Thanks again!!!

I was uncertain to appoint them given they did not do work via email nor provide purchase orders, but the reality that they picked up the phone each time I called and speedily acknowledge to text and video communication made up for it. We relocated a family of four from a 2200 square-foot house to a 350 square-foot house. They arrived on time for both the packing part and the move. We accomplish to three hours for excavating and when they were done with the first project they help out pack supplementary things in the home without twinkling an eye.

The team was efficient, friendly, kind, and took great care of me and my things. Jeff, Markell, Mike, Roland, and Donnie were all the best to have in my new house, putting my things together, sorting out my boxes and protected everything perfectly. I would definitely use them again!!! They packed all my things better than I ever would have and everything arrived in good shape.

I recently moved from Florida to Arizona and honestly didn’t even know where to start. From the very beginning, Leo, my moving coordinator, guided me through the entire process and made everything stress-free. He kept me informed and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. When moving day came, Sami and his crew were absolutely amazing. They were professional, efficient, and handled all of my belongings with so much care. Everything arrived safely, and the team went above and beyond to make sure I was settled. Amerisafe made what could have been a very stressful cross-country move smooth and worry-free. I can’t thank Leo, Sami, and the entire crew enough. I highly recommend them to anyone planning a big move!

The broker was super awesome BUT everything was a lie. Guaranteed move to my location by 09/05. Won't be here until at least 09/14. Price for cubic feet was $1500 more than I was told and agreed. The movers they sent were rude. I asked them if we should palletize and the broker AmeriSafe said yes. We ended up having to tear it all off pallets. Ended up cancelling all my other moves with them and buying a semi trailer to load myself.

The AMERISAFE team did an excellent and efficient job! I had a very last minute move and they were able to schedule me for a great time slot and the movers were timely in moving all of the items that I had. Many Many thanks for Sending BRISTOL MOVING! I would definitely recommend them for future use and I will definitely keep them in mind for any move in the future!

Rushmore and Amerisafe Moving Companies did an excellent job moving my belongings across the country. Everything arrived safely and in perfect condition. The team was professional, careful, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. I highly recommend them for a reliable and stress-free long-distance move. The crew at iMovers went the extra mile to make sure everything was thoroughly wrapped and protected from damage during transit. They were very courteous and made sure everything was handled with great care. Due to mechanical issues they arrived a little late. Communication with the timing of their arrival could improve some.

Though the sales experience was a bit rough at times the moving guys wanted us happy so we can’t complain. There was miscommunications with whom would be delivering our stuff but we understand they are busy. When we do it again we’ll shop some more but may very well end up with the company.

Never sent someone to estimate quantity of items to be moved. Of course, when they show up, the estimated space is wrong. They then charged over 5000.00 and still did not fit all items in truck. They are a disaster, do not use them.

Issue resolved. Compensation was made.

I highly recommend International Van Lines! Everything was very easy to arrange and the estimate and communication was quick and clear. David was my mover and he was right on time, super friendly and hard working. They took great care of every piece of furniture, disassembled and reassembled several items and handled everything with the utmost professionalism.

I had them encounter me at my storehouse unit. After giving them the code and unloose the unit, they went to work. I was able to drive additional box truck of items to the station and get commenced. There is a unquestionable peace of mind significant that competent workers are handling the largest and most difficult of the work behind the scenes while you Managed multiple tasks elsewhere. When I first spotted the inside of their packed 26' truck, it was majestic. Everything was fasten down, shrink wrapped, padded, and subdivided. I look at my 10' truck pack job and it was marginally better than a immateriality. That alone was previously adding value for the cost. I craved to contribute, so I managed the small truck concurrently. They were strong, quick, and had clever tricks to treating awkward and heavy things that I had not considered.

AMERISAFE Moving Services were amazing — fast, reasonable, and super efficient! The crew had excellent customer service, wrapped everything with care, and made the whole process easy and Painless. They were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I’m very happy with their service and will definitely use them again. I hired Amerisafe for me and my family to move us and they went above and beyond with our move, they hired IMovers to do the move for us, we got a crew of 3 that were able to wrap everything and pack in one day and get us on the road for our move, delivery was as smooth as well with the crew installing everything back to each room we told them to. Thank you guys for an amazing service.

AmeriSafe/Sleepless Movers company guys were very efficient & gentle with packing and moving my things, all my boxes came back intact. The packaging was flawless, I’d highly recommend it for whoever is moving. Letting the guys pack my things was huge help at stressful times. The delivery was faster than the expected date. I was recently contacted by Amerisafe regarding my move, I was a bit hesitant at first but they explained everything to me and guided me in the right direction. They hired IMovers llc to do the move and boy they did such great work. Both companies worked together and were able to get everything to me and help me move in.

Upon the pick up guys were very polite, also they were very careful with my furniture and our family heirloom I asked to pack extremely well. All the glass was wrapped in paper and bubble wrap and everything was delivered safely. Also upon the delivery I asked to bring some of the stuff to the storage and and Kelly and John did a great job stacking my boxes right to the ceiling. Extremely satisfied! Will definitely recommend.

I’m sorry to write a negative review, but I really don’t have a choice. I’ll try to be concise. In the initial phone call, I was quoted a price considerably lower than any other bid I had received. When I questioned whether the bid could be accurate, I was assured that if it was higher it would only be a minimal increase. I was told that I could be assured of a one day window for the moving truck to arrive.

The moving team was absolutely incredible! They were fast, efficient, and so careful with everything. Not only did they get the job done quickly, but they also made the whole process stress-free for me. On top of that, they were just genuinely good people—professional, kind, and easy to work with. I couldn’t have asked for a better moving experience. Highly recommend!

Absolutely horrible experience. They lowball the prices and severely underestimate the space needed. Leo is just a salesperson who wants you to sign and pay as fast as possible. Once you pay they are done with you and send you to a third party. Ralph said he has 40 years experience and underestimated the space needed by 750 cubic feet. That was double the estimate and at over $4 a cubic foot was $2800 more than initial proposal. Was never able to speak to them after the movers came and items were not dropped off until 17 days later. Was supposed to be 3-5 business days. Items were off loaded and stored, then reloaded and delivered. Absolutely no accountability and are merely a middleman to the third party. Third party is not affiliated so they try to request more money once they arrive.

Absolute scam. I was flat out lied to several times by two different employees: Leo and Giovani. Leo was the first person I spoke to. He told me my items would be delivered the next day. When I called back for a check in, Giovani told me it was 3-10 days and that Leo doesn’t work there anymore. Leo absolutely still works there, as two different customer service reps told me. My initial estimate was $2800. I did not move a lot of furniture, only a king size mattress, a frame that was taken apart and a few end tables, but I did have a decent amount of boxes and bins. I ended up getting a three seater couch, so I contacted AmeriSafe to let them know. I also realized I hadn’t let them know about a patio chair, a couple folding chairs, a vacuum and mop. It was my first move, and I didn’t realize I had to itemize every single item that wasn’t in a box. Adding those few items and some extra boxes and bins cost me an additional $2,000!!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I called Amerisafe to help my elderly grandma mid July to move from Colorado to Texas. Every expectation set was not met at all. We paid a deposit the day we booked. They called back a few days later before the arrival to say it was going to be an addition $4,000. We hired them to pack, move, unload, and transport a vehicle. I let them know of everything up front. They didn’t show up to pick up the car on the promised day, so we waited. The movers came and acted like they’ve never packed anything in their lives. They sent two guys for a whole truck load worth, one left at one point during the day to get extra materials and was gone a few hours, and when they finally finished, it was after 10pm.

Amerisafe is very fast to get you a inexpensive quote. However, it was not an accurate quote as we received an upcharge at pick up and at delivery. We started with a quote near $2000 and end result was over $4000. Be very careful if you choose to go with this company. Once we had paid, it was very difficult to get in touch with. We were only able to get in touch with the dispatch who we felt had no control of when the movers would pick up and when we would get delivery. Both had delays, pick up was 5 hours and the delivery was 2 days. A real lack of communication and promises not met.

One or two months back I needed to relocated to Sunnyvale, they gave the best estimate among five other local moving companies I look over, so I progressed with them. On the day it was superb straightforward, I had a lot of objects with me, including furniture and weighty desks. The two nobleman came over right on time, and empty my older apartment located on 4th floor within 1.5 hours, for differentiation I used a different moving service ~3 years ago, and they took ~7 hours of time to empty 2 people goods from a second floor apartment, while I was trying to deconstruct bed, wrap up the cushion and help to move objects.

This is a scam. You have to pay a large fee for them to schedule the move. The movers are independent contractors, some of whom speak very poor English. Several we encountered were from Ukraine and had not been in the US long. Amerisafe does a low ball estimate and says the driver may adjust the estimate as needed. You have to pay the pick up team separately once all your stuff is loaded and they want cash.

Amerisafe Moving reached out and was very instrumental in resolving our misunderstanding to my satisfaction.

VRT line moving did a great job with pickup and loading all of our items. They were very careful and attentive to everything and made sure to wrap items to keep them safe. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you. It was a hot day and they kept working very hard during the heat and remained happy and friendly. Our team was Arsen, Mohammed and Derek.

This move was about as painless as it could get. From the start communication was great. I had packing and moving booked and everyone was on time, and if any delays came about, I was always contacted. Since we were moving into an apartment, we had a short window to get the job done, & they got it done easily. We had zero breakage or damage. AMERISAFE isn't the cheapest option, but they are reasonable enough and you get what you pay for. The only negative that caught us off guard was the "suggested" tip amount: 10% of the total amount PER MOVER, and there were 4! Anyway, we were satisfied and would recommend AMERISAFE!

We were having a hard time finding the perfect company to move our things. I had an appointment set with another company and did not feel very comfortable after booking the appointment and did more research and found AMERISAFE Moving Services. From the moment we called and spoke to the nice lady on the phone to the day they came in the cold snow and moved all of our things we had a FANTASTIC experience. All the movers were great and very good at what they do. We would DEFINITELY hire them again and would recommend them to anyone. Would give them a 15 out of 10 if I could. We had the good fortune to work with ZAZA, Chad, Eslam, and Amer today with our move. These guys went above and beyond to ensure that everything was done professionally. Run away as fast as you can. Unethical company. Will require a deposit based on a quote and then day before scheduled move will call and increase (almost double) the price. Unfortunately, you will be held to the deposit with no refund even though they changed the terms at last minute. They do not own equipment and do not have moving employees. STAY AWAY.

What a wonderful company. We decided on AMERISAFE MOVING SERVICES based on good reviews and they far exceeded our expectations. They were on time, the crew were really nice thoughtful guys, and very careful with our furniture. We used both the online estimation system and over the phone the representative. The actuals came in a bit under the estimate and worth every penny. AMERISAFE prices are competitive for sure. NOTE: Be sure to tip the boys generously. They really do a good job.

I was not pleased at all with America’s moving services. My conversation with the salesperson was factual with the items I wanted shipped. The movers came to pick up my items and I was told that the price given to me was under and it would cost me an additional 1500 dollars. At that point I had no other options this was a move from Massachusetts to Florida not to mention I would lose my deposit. My bill of lading stated estimated delivery time 2 to 10 days. That is so false. I just received my furniture today and it has been 25 days. In addition I had to spend more money because I didn’t have any of my items. I probably would have decided to sell all my furniture and buy new if I had all the facts to begin with.

We needed complete service so added packing and additional precautions. Moving was awesome. They were fantastic, responsive and simple movers. The packing team came one time in advance even. The movers were very efficient people. When they arrived at the new place, the unloading and loading went smoothly. We really regarded the quality and professionalism of them. The entire team was very careful in their entire process. The process from the quote to the packing and the move were perfect.

If you're not sure who to hire for your move - this is the company. I've moved probably a dozen times and this was the first time I hired a moving company. Best decision I've made in a long time. Dealt with ZAZA on the phone who walked me through the process and was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional throughout the entire transaction. Chad was our team lead and he brought Eslam, Amer and Eddie along to complete the move. The team was great to work with and completed the move super quick. They loaded my 1bdr apt, my girlfriend's 1bdr apt and unloaded everything into our new place in just 4.5 hours (local move). This was BY FAR the easiest move I've ever done thanks to AMERISAFE MOVING SERVICES.

The movers were. GREAT!! They worked their behinds off, helped where needed, stayed busy, VERY POLITE ALL THREE OF THEM. Excellent packers. Just special all the way around. Thanks guys. Marshall, thanks for staying in close contact while hung up in traffic. You could tell they take pride in their work and enjoyed what they were doing.

Did a great job moving my very heavy piano. We’re very careful and moved it smoothly from the house. Would give 5 stars if possible. Please uses them for your move and you will not be disappointed. They were so polite and made me comfortable with the entire move and coming into my home. Please hire them pretty pretty please.

Aidan from Amerisafe reached out to me about my concern. She was very understandable and truly wanted to help fix the situation. Although they couldn’t credit me back the additional space I was forced to pay for she was able to credit me back the excessive fee for the packing charges. I appreciate her honesty and her willing to help.

We hired this company to move our mother's 2-bed apartment from ID to MN. The quote was $4500. We were told to pay half with a credit card and $2250 in cash at pickup and $2250 in cash at drop off. We thought this was poor practice but we were in a time constraint, so we went forward. The pickup date given was Sat/Sun. The truck arrived on Monday. We were given, I believe $50 off for the late show. The day they picked up, they wanted an additional $2200 in cash to the $2250 already required. Everything was already loaded. What were we to do?

Amerisafe’s customer relations representative reached out to me and was kind enough to listen to my story of frustration. She acknowledged the challenges I went through and agreed to reimburse me for the extra physical and financial burden I faced. I truly appreciate this thoughtful act of courtesy from the company.

Amerisafe is fascist in its ideology. Unprofessional in their service, disrespectful to their customers, outright arrogant, and money hungry. I was taken aback by their inability to pay attention to the details I provided them with. I was very clear and even provided a video walk-through of all Items that were to be moved to Texas. I was underquoted by the initial salesperson. Then came the quality assurance person, who was trying to overquote me, in his language, just in case, clause. He even videotapes this footage from his phone. This is where it gets interesting because they will masterfully use this contact against you as an intimidating factor. After all, it's their contact. It all started in Orlando, Florida. Before I booked with the quality assurance guy, I was told I was going to need two 26-foot trucks because the first estimate, the salesperson had underestimated the cubic footage.

Under no circumstances should you use this company. My experience was a nightmare. First, the sales guy was very pushy and his promises and initial quote were way off. The final cost was over 3x what he quoted. When I booked the date, they called the day before and told me it would be another day. I had flown down for the agreed day and couldn’t change my plans. Two times when I called, the person could not find any record of my account. They then pawned me off to another company who did a horrible job packing my things. Glass and fragile things put in the same box as metal with no wrapping.

The initial rep, QA rep, and dispatcher were knowledgeable and professional. The movers who picked up and dropped off were careful with my things. The warehouse handling in between damaged many pieces of furniture and crushed several boxes. I was insured through my renter's policy, but my claim would not have reached the deductible. The price for the move from Florida to South Carolina went up considerably after finalizing inventory with the quality assurance rep (from $3300 to $4500). Overall, the move got done but I am disappointed in how rough they were with my things.

The team that was used in Kimberly Idaho were fantastic.... Showed up on time; professional; considerate; helpful; high quality; and left with everything in place. Cleaned up trash and packing material. Would use again and recommend to others. Very patient, and willing to solve problems that surface during move in. Had all the tools and skill needed to move in and assembly. Also offered advice on resources and services which might be needed in the future. Good communicators and friendly to work with.

Very helpful and worked timely. They were very professional. Handled my objects with care. Arsen explained fees that arose very nicely. They chose to deliver my stuff and belongings at a good time of day. Tair and Umid worked very hard. They were very nice. They worked until the job was done. These are nice people.

Boris and team were very friendly and very professional. Treated stuff with care. Packed and wrapped stuff appropriately. Nice guys, nice truck. Called ahead and were here on time. Would definitely use them again. Packing was done quickly and efficiently. Not expecting any problems during the transportation either. Will update if there are problems.

ZAZA, Amer, and Eddie were great. Super efficient, friendly, and respectful. Communicated well during the move to make sure they met our needs. No damage to any of our property. Overall, company is fairly priced with no hidden fees. Thank you AMERISAFE for sending Bristol moving. Would highly recommend the company for any moving needs and would definitely use them for future moves.

My wife and I chose AmeriSafe for full moving services from Illinois to North Carolina in June 2025. We did have some issues with the pricing structure which was very confusing because they broker the move, and it ended up being more expensive than expected, but some of that was due to our own inaccurate initial inventory. However, Stephen ** was able to help us come to an agreement after some negotiation and resolved our issues to our satisfaction. Because of his work, I would be willing to recommend AmeriSafe. Their brokered mover Best Price also did a great job packing our belongings.

Boris & Artur were excellent in helping me pack up & move to another state. I was amazed at how efficiently they worked and how organized they were. I would highly recommend them and their company to anyone. They left my place clean and undamaged and didn’t forget anything. I hope I have the opportunity to work with them again in the future. It was hot, hard work and they handled it very well. My place had more than one floor so their work involved a lot of stairs.

On June 22nd, 2025, we waited outside the second pickup location listed on our contract and binding estimate for the movers to meet us. It was a five minute drive away from the apartment they just took our first load from. We still had plenty of room (approximately 258 cubic feet left), more than enough to accommodate all of the items in our second pickup. The movers never showed up. After calling multiple numbers we finally reached the carrier provided by Amerisafe. They told us that they would not pick up our items unless we paid more money. We called the police immediately as we felt a crime was being committed against us. We had to vacate our apartment and storage locker the next morning and leave the state. The movers were supposed to come the day before. We were left totally helpless and were in fear we would never see our belongings again.

We had the bad luck to have to move during peak season, but this was the worst move I’ve had in 15 years of military and private moves across the country. The in-home estimate was completely inaccurate, relying on the customer to provide accurate square footage, the movers were 3 days late, putting our travel plans and move-out costs in jeopardy, there was no customer service. Even when our truck broke down, AmeriSafe just told us that ‘that’s moving’ and we had to spend the extra for hotel stays, rescheduling loading dock fees and permissions, and had to pay extra for them to use an elevator.

Amerisafe reaached out to make a better resolution.

So, I am pretty sure I am right in the middle of being scammed by Amerisafe and their carrier. Shame on me, I did not realize that they were a broker or even that brokers like this exist. The sketchy firm they've contracted to do my small move is supposed to come today and pick up my stuff, but they won't tell me when they will deliver it, and even worse--although Amerisafe told me I could pay by credit card--they want cash. I've no doubt they will tack on a pile of fake charges by the time it gets to my house. Fortunately, it's mainly inexpensive furniture and I've already removed anything that I care about.

AmeriSafe Moving Services did an amazing job! The team was professional, on time, and handled everything with great care. I highly recommend them for a stress-free and smooth moving experience! The crew was very professional and handled our furniture with care. Would recommend again. They were very organized, wrapped all fragile items securely, and made sure nothing was damaged during the move. The foreman was friendly and kept me updated throughout the process. It was clear that they had experience and took pride in their work. Even large furniture and tricky corners weren’t a problem for them. They worked efficiently and with great teamwork. I will definitely use their services again in the future and recommend them to anyone looking for reliable movers!

Attention Consumers: AmeriSafe Moving Services, Boynton Beach, Florida is the WORST moving brokerage company because of unprofessional customer service, contract language changed without notification, deceptive business practices, management that won’t return phone calls after numerous messages were left, damage to moved items, missing items, deceptive dates of delivery and overall disrespect for the consumer as a whole. The movers themselves (hardworking gentlemen from Best Price Moving were very courteous, professional and respectful). The auto transport driver (Dimitry from Black Trucking LLC) was extremely thorough, courteous and very kind. We will never recommend AmeriSafe Moving Services. They give the moving business a very bad name.

The crew was very cooperative and helpful. The delivery and assembly went very well. The. Few helped position heavy pieces to the location needed. Also, Sleep number bed assembly can be difficult. Jimmy was very helpful in following my instructions to complete the reassembly. Jimmy’s crew was respectful and helpful in ensuring all of my needs were met.

They were very efficient and fast when it came to moving. I worked with Arden ** and Umid and they were great when working with all the items in need of transport. Did arrive slightly later than anticipated but was packed and ready to ship the items in timely manner!

ZaZa were helpful! Today Eddie and Chad took care of my move from one zip code to another, and they were my superheroes- lifting what I couldn’t and doing it all with a great attitude and efficiency. Amerisafe Moving (recommend from Bristol Moving) will move you across town or across the country. I appreciate their level of service and attention. Really great people!

I had a fantastic experience with AmeriSafe. The team was punctual, professional, and incredibly efficient. They handled all my belongings with care and made sure everything arrived safely at my new home. The pricing was fair, and there were no hidden fees. The Customer Service at Amerisafe, particularly Giovanni, the Customer Service Manager was exceptional. He helped us on our move with the claims process and was able to provide us with our settlement amount. He acted quickly on the resolution of our matter once he became aware of it, and it was quickly rectified..

The pick up crew was very professional and efficient. We had a lot of non standard items the we needed moved from our pottery business a well as all is our household goods. I recommend VRT Line for your moving needs! Fast service, and a quick move. It helped having a professional crew with a stressful move.

The crew went to work immediately, were good natured and thoughtful, and completed packing and unpacking in record time. Items arrived in good condition. They made a stressful endeavor a ride in the park. I recommend them highly. They worked under hot and somewhat difficult conditions without a complaint and were always polite and professional.

This started off as a pleasant experience, sales and customer service we great at first. But once I paid the deposit and their local movers came to pick up my items, it went downhill fast. I understand that some pricing may change on pickup, but my quoted price of 950 dollars on pickup shot up to 2150. Price on delivery went from 950 to 1600. Aside from that, packing up my items went well enough. Once they were picked up, we headed off from California to Michigan. Our items were picked up on June 7th and I was told by Amerisafe that our shipment could even arrive before we got to Michigan on the 16th. This was... far from the case. I tried reaching out to Amerisafe and their local movers but neither company would respond to phone or email. I waited a month before I was told that our items had shipped out, and they had been sitting in a warehouse during that time.

Quote (Where the lies begin). I spoke with Michael Henry, he seemed knowledgeable, and it appeared he was trying to be as accurate as possible. It was important to me that I didn’t use just a broker. I wanted a true moving company and have the same team from beginning to end. He said, “oh you will work with me the whole time. I want you to like me at the end of all this.” Well after he got my down payment I never heard from him again.

Manny and his team did a great job; worked diligently until finished!. They were very courteous and despite the heat kept working until finished. Having only one helper made it harder to complete the job in a timely manner but they really worked hard and efficiently. When I had questions, they responded immediately!

Highly recommend Amerisafe Moving! Great communication (we got a text letting us know when they would be here!), amazing attention to detail (they brought their own floor covering and wrapped the door frame with padding to protect it from dings!), reasonable price (it was as expected) and really nice guys. We will use them from now on for all of our moves!

Amerisafe Moving Services assisted me with my move last year. It was such a positive experience, that I reached out for them to help me again this year. They did not disappoint. My move coordinator, Eslam, was very proficient and kept great communication throughout the whole process. He did a fantastic job of taking care of all the details, making my move less stressful. I recommend Amerisafe Moving Services and will use them again in the future. Everything worked out so well.

The crew came on time, were very fast, polite, and extremely helpful! They did a wonderful job! Scheduling was very east and convenient. I would definitely use Amerisafe again, especially when planning quick packing. Provided some boxes. Packed my mirror. Everything was great. They also helped me to dump my mattress.

I told them exactly what was in my apartment and they quoted me for 600 cubic feet. Actual was 1100 cubic feet!!! They put my boxes into big wardrobe boxes so they could charge me for 7 wardrobe boxes $175. The apartment distance charge was $100 per 75 feet. I am 280 feet from the moving truck. They charged me $900! That's $500 over!!! Then when they were supposed to deliver nobody came. I called the next day and they have no idea where my belongings are. For these reasons I am giving them 1 star.

Overall job done very well. Was very pleased with the pick up. Cost was quite a bit more than the original estimate because of more items. Just didn't think price would have gone up that much. I could have used the extra 3000 it cost but it's done and don't have to worry about it.

Terrible experience, no communication. Their estimate was competitive until the movers got there and said it would cost over 30% more than estimate. They have unprofessional staff who are rude and unable to communicate clearly and provide any information. Their contracts are a hoax and they are just looking to take your money! DO NOT GO WITH AMERISAFE!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY. I have been on top of them to get my stuff that was loaded onto a truck back on the 21st of June, with no estimated delivery date. I told them to get it here by the 30th which would have been well within the window but they didn't bother doing that. I am STILL without any of my stuff and they claim it could be up to 14 "business" days before the truck is even loaded and items shipped.

AJ and Zack helped me move. They are kind, considerate and very professional. They know their job and do it well. They are experienced, you can tell from their work flow. They were very thorough in their work, and also very sociable. They are hard workers, very patient and careful in the packing and loading.

Do not use this company. Run, do not walk away. They give you a lower quote and answers all your questions with the answers they know you want to hear. All lies. After you sign the contract, the cost is forever changing. Every time I talked with them or the movers they assigned me, the cost went up. The day of the move the movers AmeriSafe outsourced me to showed up and demanded an additional $500 or the would not load my furniture and I would lose my deposit. We tried calling AmeriSafe but they were no help. They know they have you over a barrel and do not care. When my furniture arrived the next day, the moving company demanded an additional $400 or they would put my belongings into storage which I would have to pay for. The entire process seemed like an extortion racket. 

The moving company has done a great loading job! Very professional and hardworking. The group hasn’t stopped and it is very hot! This has been a good experience so far. They have done a great job and hoping the rest of the move goes as smoothly. They also worked around two dogs. Very pleased with the service and thankful for great work and attitudes.

They responded to all of our wishes no matter how difficult. They had to walk up and down a hill to our house to load the trunk and had to go up and down to the second floor carrying heavy items on both ends. I would highly recommend them.

Whatever you do DO NOT...I repeat DO NOT use this company. If I could give negative stars this company would earn all of them! My move cost increased 3X... came to pick up my things over 7 hours late...three movers were going to show up but only two did, which meant I was packing the truck! My items were picked up May 20th and I am writing this review on June 27th and I still have ZERO idea or evidence my belongings are going to be moved to me. The "general manager" gave me his personal number when I canceled because I had a bad feeling about this company. He lied, as when I called about the move, he never replied to me, called me back, and then stopped taking my calls. I have never paid so much money to be dealing with so much incompetence. I have no hope I will ever see my belongings again.

The owner Frank reached out to me directly and promised to make it right. He was very polite and promised to work on all reported issues and ensured me that he will ensure my grievances are addressed.

The two guys did a great job, were friendly, professional and meticulous. They ensured all the furniture was wrapped well and they took their time to ensure that everything was taken on board the truck. We really appreciated their friendliness and great service. We will certainly look forward to using this company again after past issues we have experienced.

I just had my pickup for my cross country move from Colorado to Florida. My move is being completed by VRT Line. Jon and his crew are amazing!!! I was so nervous about the loading of my things and my move as a whole. Jon reassured me that they were going to take care of everything and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Extremely truthful and great to work with! These crew stands beyond their work with clear communication and probity. Excellent moving support. I had a complex move with multiple stops and a move out of town and they treated everything with ease and elegance and regard. They put things together that they did not take apart. Read the reviews posted outside of Amerisafe's website and sponsored marketing sites! We had a terrible experience. We shared the square footage of our house and talked through all furniture items with sales rep, Leo. He logged everything and kept repeating that we could trust him, that he has been doing this for a long time. We listed all furniture items and we asked how many additional boxes we could include (he said 100). Leo assured us that there was plenty of room on the truck and we would be the only items on the truck.

My wife and I went with Amerisafe Moving Services because they were recommended by USAA. Otherwise I would not have chosen them. Initially Brandon and Leo were helpful. They answered our questions, provided "supposed" discounts on our move from PA to TX. Made us feel reassured about our decision. However, we get to TX on the confirmation day and we call the company they contracted our move too and the truck with all our household goods is still sitting in a warehouse in Maryland with no sense of urgency when it will be on the road. This has created unnecessary financial issues since my wife and I had to spend close to $3k to buy stuff that should've been in TX. We have tried on numerous occasions to contact both Brandon and Leo, but no response at all. Ended paying double the amount that was agreed upon. The worse damn company!! Not Veteran supportive.

These guys were so great, nice and friendly, very efficient and quick!. The whole process was easy. I would definitely hire them again. The team Packed everything securely. They were able to put the chalk on the very narrow driveway and got the job done at the end of the day.

I was quoted based on 350cf which was based on my description of items and number of boxes. I was charged for a higher cf amount by the contracted carrier which is fine if that is what the correct load size. I spoke to customer service and sent a video of load. No response, 3 unanswered emails. I subsequently called with my concern about the carrier demanding cash only upon final delivery. Customer Service was glib and unhelpful and I was told "read your contract". Driver arrived and demanded cash to be paid before he would unload. Bottom line HORRIBLE customer service and paid 55% more than original contract.

TL;DR get labor-only movers and a U-haul if you see this in time. NOT Amerisafe. Three weeks ago, after accepting a job offer in another city, I started planning to move 100 miles away. After calling around to a few different moving companies and getting outrageously expensive (to me, at least) quotes, I found Amerisafe. I spoke to one of their salesmen who was professional and helpful. What stuck with me was how he said, "I'm sure you want this to be the last call you have to make, so I'll see how close we can get to the price you're looking for." I told him my budget, and he worked with me until we came to a number that sounded reasonable--i.e., giving a discount for having my own TV box and mattress bag, and another discount for being flexible on the exact date, etc. It seemed like a very thorough, informative call.

I was able to work with Frank and we were able to come to an agreeable conclusion. They were more than willing to work with me to resolve the issue at hand.

In the beginning of May 2025, my husband and I were in the process of moving from California to Georgia and we were looking for movers. We saw an ad on Google for AmeriSafe so, we decided to try this company out. We called and spoke to a young salesperson by the name of Jacob. We told him what we needed. He asked for the size of our place. We had a one bedroom, one bath apartment. We also had furniture in a storage unit that we needed them to pick up. We explained this to Jacob that we needed the storage things picked up as well Item by item. He told us from what we had in both spaces our total was around $3700. We paid 50% upfront.

Anthony and his team were outstanding. Anthony communicated effectively throughout the process at pickup and delivery. He and his team made the moving experience worry free. They made sure we were happy with the results and we were. The attention to detail was excellent. I would recommend Anthony and his team to anyone who has a need for a long distance move. They are true professionals.

A really high level of expertness. They were impressively organized but also careful when shifting and wrapping my items. They capably disassembled and reassembled my things with conscientious care, using covering and wire to protect all my things. When we arrived at the new place, they always asking me about where I wanted to put back my things and they also arrange all my items in new particular area. They have everything done within 2 hours. We were very satisfied with this company. Just a while ago we moved one bedroom home nearby. The team came on time and complete their job quickly, about in 4 hours. Our things was incomplete and reunite quickly without problems. The value for money is excellent. They have affordable pricing. They are kind people to work with. We would highly recommend their services.

Amerisafe is scam company. They quoted me 2 different quotes, their mover they brokered out showed up over 3 hours past the time they were slotted to show up, and wanted to charge us $2,000 more. I called amerisafe, and the girl on the phone was rude, I explained to her I was a veteran, retired military and she questioned whether I was a veteran because I was upset. That just made me more upset. They need to be investigated by the Florida attorney general, I plan to report them to every agency, state and federal. This cannot stand. Avoid at ALL costs!!!

If I could give 0 or negative stars I would. They are not a trustworthy company. They are brokers not an actual moving company. I was told by one representative that he would be with me from start to finish. The day before my move a different person called for a list of inventory. It became a new contract vs adding to the existing. It basically doubled the cost. It is a scam!!!! Find a local company and you will have a better experience and save a lot of money.

I called to get a quote and information. And after a lengthy call with the sales rep I Was transferred to Nick. He was pushy and arrogant. When I said I could not book today and I needed to talk with my husband he told me I was wasting his time and he hung up one me.

Submitted information for an estimate and they called my girlfriend immediately. Had high hopes with fast customer service and then the man said she was wasting his time, got aggressive, and called her “honey.” He said they were fully booked until August, and said we have to schedule in advance. She clarified we’re planning a move next year, and he said she was wasting time and asked how it made sense. At this point we hung up the phone. Don’t recommend doing business with a sexist company who treats people with such a condescending attitude.

The movers arrived on site when they said they would be, they got my things wrapped up and loaded pretty fast, they told me what they were planning to do, communicated anything they needed from me, they answered my questions about the move, and they stayed fairly close to the estimate I was given.

I was given a reasonable quote that was TRIPLED by the aptly named Sleepless movers once my belongings were on the truck. I had to rush to get both a certified check for more than 5000 PLUS more than $600 in CASH. I was stunned. Don't even think about hiring these people.

I have requested a quote in the beginning of March, their customer center called in 5 minutes, asked for all of the items I need to move. We went through the list couple of times and then I got the quote according to estimated cubic feet my belongings will use. They have scheduled the moving date and I started packing. ILYA and Alex were my movers, they arrived on time and wrapped my TV in a box and furniture in blankets. They were so gentle and professional. They loaded the truck and showed me how much space it took. I am so glad everything is clear with no bait and switch or hidden fees. After couple of days dispatch contacted me and scheduled delivery day in Texas. In a week big semi truck arrived at my new place and 2 other guys (driver and his helper) unloaded everything and nothing was broken. I got such a smooth experience with AMERISAFE. Definitely recommend.

Everything was wonderful!! Tair, Arsen and Umid were very helpful, quick, and polite!!!! Everything was very efficient and they were very careful with all our things!!! They wrapped my grandmother's china cabinet very carefully as well as the bed and tables!! We had an additional pickup site and they kindly came there as well!! I would recommend AmericanExpress to everyone.

I would not recommend AmeriSafe Moving Services to anyone. I have left numerous voicemails with never a return call, inaccurate pricing, not being upfront with the customer by telling them what the deposit is when the movers get here.

We moved from Wyoming to North Carolina in February 2025. We needed to change moving companies about 4 weeks prior to our move. From the beginning with AmeriSafe, different individuals shared different information about what types of moving trucks would move us, how much weight our items would be, the price of the move, etc.. It seemed very disjointed and then the broker for the move, No Borders Moving & Storage got involved. Lorenzo, the owner, disagreed with what AmeriSafe had told us. I took videos of what we had already packed and what they needed to pack and move. He was coming himself to supervise the move, or so he told us. We soon learned that much of what he said was not true. We had to change the moving date due to a WY snowstorm. The movers who arrived wrapped our furniture carefully and appeared to be knowledgeable.

Horrible company. Starts off good, then they get you after setting a price. Moving company hired was a joke and broke stuff. They took advance of elderly. Tried to contact and email them 3 times and never got a response. So I contact the moving company directly, got email back saying sorry maybe it was miscommunication. They moving truck was 3 days late, charged more and then want to hold your stuff hostage until you pay them to release the stuff. Do not use Amerisafe or D and H Express Moving ever.

Noel and Ahmed carefully and efficiently wrapped and loaded our furniture. They handled our boxes with the same care. They were in and out for this process in about 4 hours. Delivery to our new place was just as efficient. I had packed some boxes pretty heavy which did crush down a couple boxes a bit but nothing was damaged. Hard working crew.

I recently reached out to several movers for quotes on moving from Alabama to Florida. After receiving multiple quotes with a wide variety of costs, I selected Amerisafe Moving Services based on their initial estimate. Unfortunately, this has evolved to one of the worst decisions in my life. My initial quote was just under $2,000.00. It has now reached nearly $5,600.00. This is by far the worst case of "bait and switch" I have ever experienced.

I SO regret booking through this BROKER! The sales agent painted a wonderful picture of how wonderful it would all be. I had such a HARD time and many, many issues with the company they sub-contracted with (Pack and Load Moving & Storage. I ended having to pay $2000 MORE than my quoted price before they would give me my belongings. They were 1 day late for pick up and took them 12 days to deliver my things! Amerisafe did NOTHING to intervene. They never picked up my call or responded to my e-mails when I pleaded for their help. Losers!! Don't ever book with this broker!

Amerisafe is not a moving company. They are a broker. They quote you a price and take their third and then they are basically done with you. They then reserve a local mover for you. The movers they hired for me didn't exist on any internet search. Upon arrival the company quoted us twice what Amerisafe had agreed as the finished price. I of course called Amerisafe and was told I needed to speak to my salesperson Michael. He did not answer that call or respond to any further calls.

Everything about the moving experience was so relieving. Doing the quote and getting things scheduled, great and easy. Communication regarding pickup was so well, I never had any questions about where the movers were at, time it would take. The 2 gentleman that actually moved all my stuff did everything so quick and efficiently, it was done way before I thought it would be. When I move down the road, I’ll be calling back to use them again.

Movers were very professional, extremely fast, did excellent work. They were very easy to work with, on top of everything. They wrapped all my belongings super well. I am very impressed. This is my first move of long distance and they make it super easy, was very concerned in the beginning but after this amazing crew got to my house all my fear disappear.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - FRAUDULENT! They are a broker and contract with local companies and literally wash their hands of any issues. I contracted with this company to move my 80-year-old/handicapped mother from Denver to Delaware. The sales rep, Emmet, assured me they were able to handle a senior move and we would be well taken care of. He also told me the delivery would take 3-5 days from pickup and that the driver would keep us informed every step of the way. NONE OF THIS HAPPENED. I should have canceled the day the pack team showed up with 2 ** individuals who couldn't speak a word of English making packing and labeling boxes very difficult.

I called AmeriSafe Moving Services to get a quote for a move from CT to VA and John helped me with the process. He was very good of explaining me the whole process, I didn’t know that I needed to list every item that we going to move but he helped me and I am happy to had him as my salesman. Movers came on time very punctual and super professional. They packed everything well and were very careful worth my items. 2 days later we received our belongings in VA. We will definitely recommend to everyone. Super happy with the movers!!

We did not go ahead and hire this company because Leo, who is the sales person was rude, pushy, and obnoxious. Would not recommend this company at all. End of the call he told us that we wasted his time.

Excellent service from start to finish, SUPERB!! From my frost conversion with Emmet to their customer service I was very pleased, they explained the whole process as I had lots of questions. I worked with AmeriSafe to plan an in-state move. I was quoted a total price based on the size of my home and estimated belongings and because they could complete a one-day move with morning pick up. A couple days before my move, I had a call with the AmeriSafe coordinator to confirm my items. There were a few additions and a few eliminations-- The coordinator called it a wash. On move day, the "movers" showed up a couple of hours late, with fewer movers than they said the day prior and were late to my house due to a sensor issue in their truck. I had to call to find out where they were-- No one called me. They showed up with a rented U-Haul truck and immediately looked at my items and said there was more cubic feet than on the invoice (he had a different invoice than I did) and will cost an additional $477.00. Fastest math I've ever seen. Pretty sure I was covering the cost of their U-Haul rental.

Plan: Depart ID and drive to AZ April 2nd at 6am in my personal vehicle to attend father's funeral then drive to TX, April 8th. I Was not able to drive my vehicle to AZ because the moving truck never showed up on April 1st. That forced me to buy a last minute plane ticket to fly to AZ then fly back to ID to meet the moving truck. I was told the moving truck will be there at 8am April 9th. Truck showed up at 2pm. They finished packing everything around 1 or 2 am. I was never given a revised estimate after the employees looked what needed to be moved. They ran out of packing material and didn't notify me until I asked why isn't this closet and the rest of the bathroom packed? I had to purchase my own materials the following morning to complete the packing and load everything leftover in my vehicle.

Whatever you do, do not select this moving company. I was given an original quote which was low. I expected that close to our move date, we would review and revise, which we did. We provided every item we were putting on the truck and paid the updated higher quote. This was fine, we expected it. Then, when the movers arrived they wanted another $3500. We were stuck - What do you do when they are in your driveway and you have to move? AmeriSafe uses other companies to move, in this case they selected No Borders. When I called to complain about the cost, I was put in touch with Giovanni (customer service) who proceeded to tell me it was my fault, that we added things to the move not on the record/quote. He was rude, condescending, and could have cared less about my concern.

DO NOT USE AMERISAFE… They are not Movers, but brokers.. Then they assign your moving to what seems like day workers with very little or no experience in moving… Please hear me… It is the biggest scam.. They gave me a quote over the phone, almost double in price when the came to my home the day of move…. I would have cancelled, but was now stuck because I would have lost my very large deposit.. They are only nice; until they get your deposit… Then the non/caring, don’t give a damn attitude.. They also do not care for your furniture… I had lots of damage… This company is a nightmare… Use a company that actually does the moving… You don’t need a broker or a middle man… I thought my actual move would cost me about $5,000… It cost me more like $10,000 when they were finished with me… Very sad… Do Not Use Them.

I foolishly thought to reimburse me for damaged items and services not provided. However, they offered me $300 to change my review to a 5 star. I said yes and to send the money first, they said no lololol. This unethical company needs to be avoided.

Nothing went right. Was given two different pick-up times: the first was 3 pm, the second was between 9-11 am. Crew arrived at 3:45pm. Wasted the day trying to figure out where they were and when they were coming. Lead guy made a lot of excuses though the two other guys were quick and efficient. My sister and I ended up having to help move furniture. Price ended up being more than double initially quoted. Would never want to use this company again.

Everything was top notch and efficient. I would highly recommend them for the care they took and the highly profession way they performed our move from the packing of our house in Cary to the unpacking in South Florida. I liked that it was the same team doing both jobs.

I want to share my experience with Amerisafe Moving Services to help others avoid the same nightmare. The initial quote changed several times during the move, but the emailed quotes came as links that expired, making it impossible to reference their original terms. They arrived a day late, failed to apply a payment that had cleared, and ultimately refused to unload any belongings at the new house. This was particularly distressing for my elderly parents, especially since my father is battling stage 4 cancer. The movers fought with them and wouldn’t even unload the bed from the truck.

Foreman and crew are good at understanding the situation and getting to work wrapping everything and caring for all things great and small. Very professional. Price didn’t change so I am very appreciative of that. So far very happy and feeling good. Very grateful for the quick and professional service. Would recommend AmeriSafe for friends and family!!

Of a high standard experience with this team. They were coherent, experienced and wonderful communication. Our move was not an easy one, but they managed it nicely. They maneuvered our things with care, nothing was damaged and they took extra measures to make sure our items would be manage with great effort. Thanks for making my move so smooth and uncomplicated. They came for the walk through was thoughtful, active and on time. It was a wonderful experience. They provide with lots of tips for making the move painless and explained everything. On Moving day crew worked so quick, the truck was packed in one hour and this included wrapping, padding and boxing everything with anxiously. They were courteous and friendly guys. They asked where things should be put and happily moved things many times until the position was where I liked. Highly suggested.

I would recommend AmeriSafe movers, they gave me a reasonable quote. Donny and Abzal were very professional. My items reached my final destination in good condition. Initially they did not come with boxes but they were able to purchase some and pack my belongings. I was moving to a 3rd floor and no elevators they were accommodative. Thank you.

They did reach out to make things right and stated they do not conduct business the way I was handled and will be addressing the issue quickly. This did ease my mind but I will still be taking my business elsewhere. I'm glad they did reach out, that does show they are monitoring things which makes me feel better.
