I want to share my experience with Amerisafe Moving Services to help others avoid the same nightmare. The initial quote changed several times during the move, but the emailed quotes came as links that expired, making it impossible to reference their original terms. They arrived a day late, failed to apply a payment that had cleared, and ultimately refused to unload any belongings at the new house. This was particularly distressing for my elderly parents, especially since my father is battling stage 4 cancer. The movers fought with them and wouldn’t even unload the bed from the truck.

Foreman and crew are good at understanding the situation and getting to work wrapping everything and caring for all things great and small. Very professional. Price didn’t change so I am very appreciative of that. So far very happy and feeling good. Very grateful for the quick and professional service. Would recommend AmeriSafe for friends and family!!

Of a high standard experience with this team. They were coherent, experienced and wonderful communication. Our move was not an easy one, but they managed it nicely. They maneuvered our things with care, nothing was damaged and they took extra measures to make sure our items would be manage with great effort. Thanks for making my move so smooth and uncomplicated. They came for the walk through was thoughtful, active and on time. It was a wonderful experience. They provide with lots of tips for making the move painless and explained everything. On Moving day crew worked so quick, the truck was packed in one hour and this included wrapping, padding and boxing everything with anxiously. They were courteous and friendly guys. They asked where things should be put and happily moved things many times until the position was where I liked. Highly suggested.

This was breathtaking to work with, they answered all of my queries. Our recent moving experience with this company was really fantastic. We did not have a lot of materials to move and had a low budget. They were able to problem solve creatively to able my needs. They were highly communicative throughout the move. I would recommend AmeriSafe movers, they gave me a reasonable quote. Donny and Abzal were very professional. My items reached my final destination in good condition. Initially they did not come with boxes but they were able to purchase some and pack my belongings. I was moving to a 3rd floor and no elevators they were accommodative. Thank you.

They did reach out to make things right and stated they do not conduct business the way I was handled and will be addressing the issue quickly. This did ease my mind but I will still be taking my business elsewhere. I'm glad they did reach out, that does show they are monitoring things which makes me feel better.

Movers were professional, courteous, and friendly. Customer service was top tier. Movers handled the furniture with care and wrapped each piece individually for safe travel. Very friendly and accommodating. Upon delivery they continued handling furniture with care and exceeded my expectations by putting all the furniture all back together in the rooms that we designated. Our experience with Robert and his team was exceptionally positive. From the very beginning, they demonstrated a high level of professionalism, punctuality, and courtesy. Robert arrived exactly on time, which immediately made a great impression. He and his team worked efficiently and carefully, paying close attention to every detail.

Isaiah and Xavier were fantastic. They are 2 of the nicest people I have ever met. They were professional and very pleasant to talk to. If I ever move again I would request them. They took care of the move like I was part of their family. I would recommend them to a friend or family member.

We utilized them to move two bedrooms value of stuff from a storage unit to an apartment not far away. The crew was professional, adequate, careful, and well behaved across the move. They knew what they were doing and brought along the necessary materials. The office is also very flexible and helpful. I am consistently doubtful of inflated reviews, but I genuinely have nothing bad to say here. I would highly suggest this company to anyone. It was money well spent on peace of mind.

Avoid at all costs. They are very pleasant when trying to get you as a customer, however, this all changes as soon as you pay. There are many hidden fees that you do not learn about until moving day. Customer service was very poor. The customer service representative I spoke with became very defensive and raised her voice throughout the conversation. Overall, wish I would have avoided this company from the start.

VRT guys were awesome! I’m moving across country and have a LOT of stuff! I also have two upright antique pianos and antique carved wood furniture and lots of glass. What could be more of a test than that?! They did an excellent jobs, were very helpful and friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic experience with Amex Moving Company and AmeriSafe Moving Services! They were right on time, courteous, and professional throughout the entire process. They handled my belongings with great care and went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. I truly appreciate their hard work and attention to detail. I recently programme a move with them. This team is superb. From the start, they were very communicative. On the morning of the move, they were quick and professional. They stuffed my apartment with care and consideration and I was happy that no items were damaged or engrave during the move. They truly had a system in-place for the transporting of the apartment, the loading and unloading of the truck. I would tremendously recommend them.

Received a call back from Amerisafe consumer services who did rectify my issue and provided compensation for the correct amounts!!

From start to finish this was a great company to work with, they had great communication every step of the process. They were caring and understanding with a stressful process that moving is. If you are looking for a long distance or local move I would, without hesitation highly recommend using them!!

Do not use AmeriSafe. They are only a broker and while the estimate, done over the phone, looked good, it was thrown out the window when the mover AmeriSafe chose repriced the day of pickup. The mover, Cobra Van Lines, reprice was thousands more than the original estimate and calls to AmeriSafe were totally unhelpful as they said the final pricing was really up to the mover. Cobra Van Lines then stored our items for several months while we looked for a home purchase and when the our belongings finally arrived cross country we had dozens and dozens of boxes crushed/ dropped and items broken, including 3 large screen TVs.

Bristol Movers provided exceptional service when I needed to relocate. The movers were friendly, respectful, and efficient. They worked quickly and carefully, ensuring nothing was damaged in the process. Their customer service was top-notch, and I appreciated how easy it was to schedule my move. The price was fair for the high-quality service I received. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to hire them. Thanks to AmeriSafe for sending them over.

Vlad and his team did a very professional job with the packing and loading for my move. They did not arrive as soon as I expected, but this was apparently due to miscommunication. I was very impressed with Vlad’s ability to manage his team and he packed my paintings and Piano carefully. I would use Vlad again, he did an excellent job and was very accommodating.

I called in to get an estimate to move long distance from NH to VA. Bruce was my sales person. He was good to work with. Very easy to worked with. Movers called head a time to let me know they are on the way. They are very efficient, very professional. They did amazing job wrapping my belongings. I am very impressed by their excellent job. Will recommend AmeriSafe to all 👍👍.

Contacted the company several weeks before my move and the company was great contacting me to make sure everything was good to go. They showed up on time packed everything in my storage unit and quickly moved everything to my new house. We had 3 flights of stairs and the movers didn't charge me extra for it. I Highly recommended for your next move!

So far it has been disastrous from the beginning. The time windows for pickup and delivery were not properly communicated. My pickup was delayed and fortunately I had my realtor available to be in the house in FL since I had to drive up to WV. Now I'm waiting for my furniture and was told that they have a 21 day window from my 1st day available. Sitting in an empty house and waiting for my stuff I received a call today that my furniture will arrive Wednesday or Thursday while I have to be at work. I was also told if I can't be there, I'll be charged extra for rescheduling my delivery. I'm disappointed about their time management and the lack of communication. I would not book them again.

Daniel and Benjamin were great! Had some issues with the company but the movers were great. Amerisafe worked with me well. The contacts at Movers Without Borders were a bit hard to deal with. Not sure if I would use them again.

ROBERT and his crew did a wonderful job. They were very efficient, fast, and courteous. I would highly recommend them. The crew did an excellent job of wrapping up furniture and packing up fragile items. Robert was very knowledgeable and managed his team well. There was no conflict among his team.

I contact AmeriSafe Moving Services to get a moving estimate and John was my salesperson he was good. Kept very good communication with me and kept me informed about the outcome in process. The process was transparent. No changes. Movers came on time. Check everything. I had more boxes than anticipated but they kept the same price with no additional. Movers very professional economics with their time. Super friendly. Highly recommended AmeriSafe moving services!

They were very fast yet accurate! I worked with them for a local move from to Albany this past Monday. The moving team was seriously nice, reflective, and kind! They were all laugh and full of energy when they pulled up in the truck at 7 am! What I love about these guys is their honest pricing and sprint. There is a base price and an hourly rate at a two-hour minimum. This acknowledge me to precisely estimate how much my 1BD move would be priced at based on my amount of goods and my moving length.

Significant availability and very quick to react via email. Truthful and effortless with rates too. Moving day was very smooth, the team came on time and super nice. Crew were really went above and beyond -- mainly when dragging an enormous couch up 4 flights of stairs. Primarily it looked like it was not going to fit up the stairwell and I did have to merchandise my couch, but they carry on and somehow found a way to make it occur! Unbelievable work, and they saved me the inconvenience and cost of selling/buying one more couch. Big appreciation to these guys.

This is not a moving company. They subcontract you out to a company. The company they gave our property to were terrible. The price was higher than quoted, boxes crushed in the truck and boxes missing. Don’t use them!!!

I can not consider honest I did not give in my review! We utilized the them last month. We are moving again and I undeniably have not considered using any other else. They were quick and handled with care. They were pleasant and careful and I saw a team that operate well together. Moving 4 adult sized people who have lived in a place for years to the other side of contra costa is not going to be economical, but the prices were coherent and even beat some of the other places that I knew would not have taken such good care of our goods.

I am VERRRRY DISSATISFIED!!! They asked me what items I was taking and gave me a quote. I had to move the day we had scheduled. When they got there they started telling me it was by cubicle square feet. So the price tripled!!!! I was in a bind and had to be out. I was crying. I just went through a divorce and very low on money. They are crooks, stole from me and a scam!!!!

I recently used Amerisafe, and I’m extremely satisfied! Their team is professional, punctual, and highly efficient. We picked up a client’s belongings from an apartment, and everything went smoothly and quickly. The movers carefully packed and transported everything without any damage. The one thing I find hard to believe is that none of the movers seem to take my estimate seriously. Based on my last move. I get reactions rapidly and completely. I chose them based on a combination of availability, cost and distance from their location to the move site. They were very meticulous about everything and I found them to be very accurate. The one thing that was hard for me to estimate was the number of hours required for the total move. In the end it did not matter because they moved me in less than two hours. Their minimum charge was for three hours. I viewed them to be professional and honest. I would highly recommended.

We used Amerisafe for a recent move from NY to NM. We were quoted 4k by Yaniv ** and after they loaded all of our belongings they gave us a $7k bill. Not only that, but they refused to take the items out of the truck and pressured my girlfriend, who was by herself, to sign off on the quote. When I expressed my frustrations they simply told me that "we can take it to court if that's the road you want to take". DO NOT use this company or the Sleepless Movers they sold the job to. I can not explain my anger and frustration enough and I have contacted attorneys to represent my case. Please save yourself the heartache and disappointment.

Dealing with AMERI-SAFE has been one of the worst experiences if my life. They haven't even started packing and my STRESS LEVELS IS A 20 OUT OF 10. I wish I could give a negative rating. The customer service team is disorganized, rude, and dismissive. DO NOT HIRE THEM. They lie during the sales process & once they get your money they treat you like trash.

I reached out to Mark with an inquiry for a pretty quick upcoming move. He gave me exactly what I was asking for without any hassle. Everything was efficient, and precise. From start to finish this company was great to work with. The customer service was super helpful. Movers came right on time very professional and very hard working. They made sure that our belonging were well protected. I had a very bad experience last year with another company but AmeriSafe is the company to go with, they really care for their customers. Hired AmeriSafe 12/5/2024. They never divulged that they were outsourcing the move Told me I was in good hands as the person I spoke to had 12 years in the business. He told me not to buy extra insurance as I was adequately covered. Told me cushions and pillows could go in heavy garbage bags, but when movers showed up, they said no and charged me 3 times the price of boxes. 90% of the move was boxes and a few furniture pieces that they wrapped in moving blankets. Their estimate was for boxes 16x12x12 and mine were 9x12x12, so I felt we were over-estimating. The actual would take place at pick up. MY FEE WENT UP FROM $2975. to the actual of $7656.12!! Since this is the day of pickup you are stuck. My items were transferred to at least two different movers. It was taking longer than promised verbally and I called the dispatcher who said he couldn’t find me in his system. I felt my items were lost and I’d never get them.

AmeriSafe Moving Company is NOT your mover. They are a middleman and connect you to a mover. I went to North Carolina in October 2024 to pack my elderly mother and move her to Arizona. The movers seemed great. Looked like they packed everything up good and were very polite. There were a LOT of added on fees we didn't expect and the size of our shipment was over what was expected so that cost us a lot as well. I can accept all that due to my lack of reading every word of very fine print in the emailed contract. What I can't accept is the fact that it took over a month for them to get her stuff to Arizona and not only that but they butchered her stuff. Most of her furniture was damaged. Boxes clearly repacked and valuable items missing. Old family heirloom antiques just gone. Irreplaceable.

Cesar and his team arrived perfectly on time and were very helpful and kind to our family. They took care of every single item and made sure everything was packed up for us, and even locked up our home for us so we could get going on our trip to our new house. I highly recommend this company because of Cesar and his team. Thanks guys!

I booked a move from Cincinnati to Milwauke. Profesional quote of $2400 for.one bedroom apartment. 2nd tier company shows up with Penske truck starts charging me for small truck, length of walk, I have 1500 sf of stuff. My apartment not the big. Nobody at AmeriSafe helps to negotiate on my behalf. Showed up in Milwaukee 1 week later with no notice after repeated attempts to Amerisafe. Furniture damaged. Boxes damaged. $4600 dollars taken hostage and refuted by this dishonest company. Fill out paperwork for damages. 2nd tier mover out of business. Get $200 dollars with damages exceeding $1000. Stay away and don't trust their fake reviews. Most unprofessional and dishonest company!!!

The crew arrived promptly on time, they called me within half an hour of arrival. The gentlemen were very polite, thorough, professional and accommodating. Their workmanship was very meticulous. They took the time to carefully wrapped and protect all my furniture. I am happy I will be getting my delivery early tomorrow morning too.

I am writing this review based on my experience with Amerisafe brokerage. Mark **, a representative for Amerisafe, a moving broker highly recommended Seventh Generation moving company. I was given a quote by Mark ** of $31,788.46 of which they required a deposit of $13,785.00. No one came out to survey my household, it was all done verbally and a questionnaire to fill out about what was in each room. I was very uncomfortable with this and I told Mark ** this more than once and he reassured me that this is how it is done and not to worry that he would be sending a large truck and Seventh Generation would take good care of my move. He was quite the salesman.

John **. John was extremely helpful, extremely fast and professional. He was supposed to have help show up and no one showed for the pick up to help him.. but that did not stop him doing everything by himself. He did receive help on drop off, only one other person.. Also John traveled through a snow storm to make it to the drop off on time.. John was by far an amazing person to have move me and my family. Usually when I was in the military it was a team of 5 people to move me and my family.. With John he did everything by himself. He deserves a promotion and a raise. Date of experience: February 02.

They were accessible when I required them, and the pricing was competitive. A friend recommended this company and I am happy I move with them. I got the same crew accompany, who went above and beyond for moving my stuff and getting each item setup at my new room. Admire your help during what can straightforwardly be a stressful time.

John and his crew from Amerisafe/Anapa were super helpful with our move from an apartment to a new home in a different state. They handled our furniture and boxes with care and efficiency and answered all of our questions. I would definitely hire them again for future moves. They did a great job!

I researched moving companies for a move from Massachusetts to New Jersey. Amerisafe came up as a good choice. Upon speaking with Bruce I was quoted $6,000. He used photos from the sale of our home to help with pricing. The only items he could not see was what was in our attic. I do feel he seriously underestimated the number of boxes we would need to pack up the house. After packing up everything I did a box count and it ended up being double what he estimated. So the cost also doubled.

Certain individuals invest wholeheartedly in their work and in their client assistance. This is one such organization. This is a superb organization. It is a family worked organization as the name proposes. They securely packed everything in covers and plastic wrap. According to plan they set up back all furniture. They were extremely proficient.

I booked a move from CO to OK thinking that I was using a reputable company. Once the broker gets your deposit ($1200 on an $2650 move) and gets your signature on what appears to be a fair, detailed, and professional estimate… they are no longer involved in your move. After that, all bets are off and your nightmare begins!!! Your move is passed off to a logistics company. Every aspect of your move falls apart, from the date of pickup, to additional costs, to the date of delivery!!

I had a terrible experience with Amerisafe Moving Company, and I feel compelled to warn others. They misrepresented themselves during the sales process, making it seem like they were the moving company when, in fact, they are just brokers. They outsourced my move to a fraudulent, unprofessional third-party company, leading to a nightmare from start to finish.

Amerisafe recently reached out to follow up on my experience, and I’ve since learned that the 5 Diamond Star company has been removed from their carrier network. I’ve updated my review accordingly, as I now recognize Amerisafe took responsibility for addressing my concerns.

I am moving from NYC to Oregon after living in the city for 40 years. Communication with the salesperson was good also Bruce was very nice. Movers came on time, great Communication, super professional and courteous. They took very good care of my belongings and I have so much trust with them. They are amazing and will recommend them to everyone!!

I spoke with Andrew regarding a quote to move from Virginia to Atlanta. He beat a competitor's price in order to get me moved within the timeframe requested. On the day of the move the movers were late and refused to complete the job because Andrew wrote information in the contract that was absolutely not true. He tailored the quote to fit the cost to beat their competitors. The movers walked around and spoke in a different language to others on the phone while doing very little work. Then they quoted me 3 times the amount in order to complete the job. I requested that they cancel which was within the 72 hour window because this was not a company that I would entrust my belongings with and the movers refuse to complete the job.

Booked with Amerisafe, signed a great contract then right before our move we had to increase how much stuff we had and got a new quote with contract for 2.5x's as much a originally quoted for. The guy said "It would only be that much if you take up the whole 2nd truck and you won't, you will only get charged for what you use". Turns out Amerisafe contracts with another company to do the moving and they said we have to pay the full amount. Book with someone else to not get scammed.

Date: July 2024. Move: FL to NJ. I cannot emphasize this enough… Do NOT use AmeriSafe Moving company for your long distance move. The company is run by in-compassionate, incompetent, borderline criminals who do not care about you, your valuables, or your situation. They only want your money and once the contract is signed good luck getting in touch with anyone who cares to help you or be held accountable for any issues along the way. They are actually third-party brokers, but this isn't clear until the move-out date when you will discover a different moving company is actually in charge of the pickup and drop off.

The person who helped me over the phone was very professional and personable. He helped guide me through the process and answer tried all my questions. When the day came the movers were very prompt and courteous helping us navigate through the process. They were very upfront about pricing. Highly recommend AmeriSafe moving services!!

Upon delivery from NY to CA, we found items missing, rifled thru, torn boxes. They were in possession of our items and now close to 5k of missing electronics were stolen. Police report done and investigation in progress. The owner said to just file an insurance claim. They don't care about you or your belongings. We are a military family and this is unacceptable business practice. Lawsuit option being researched.

Leo at AmeriSafe Moving Services was great to work with, he set up the move in no time. Movers were very professional, pleasant and cooperative. Outstanding service. Amazing service all around. Movers showed right on time, they made the truck to fit on a very small st in NY. I can’t believe how strong are those guys and quickly cleaned up the house. Very professional, everything is wrapped so well they protected our furnitures like it’s their own. They took everything out with no damages. Those guys are AMAZING, we love them. The best moving experience!!

From the first phone call to Amerisafe Moving Services I very pleased with the service. They gave me a quote to move from MD to DE. The excellent service I was received by the movers is outstanding. First time moving after 10 years and I called AmeriSafe moving services to get quote. Emmet was my sale person and he was good to work with. It was little issue with the delivery date that was promised but the movers helping me and I will get it quick, they gave a trailer they will load right away. Movers was very professional wrapped everything to perfection. I will recommend them to everyone!!

Today I received a call asking if they could do anything to satisfy me since I was not happy with the initial meeting. I have agreed to a check from them for part of the money that I feel like they owe me. So I am changing my review to a 5 star

Let me preface this by saying that no review I can give this company would ever possibly bad enough to make up for my experience with them. A month ago we hired Amerisafe and after quoting a price stated the only payment option was to break it down into three. We paid the first payment on booking and the second when they arrived to pick up our stuff and were supposed to then take the final payment when the drivers were on their way.

Jonathan ** and Benjamín did an amazing job at moving all our things into our new place! In a timely manner as well! Nothing damaged and everything neatly put where we wanted. Everything we had is here.

I recently used AmeriSafe Moving services for my move, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, and careful with my belongings. The pricing was very reasonable—truly one of the most affordable options I found—and there were no hidden fees. The movers arrived on time, worked quickly, and handled everything with care. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a stress-free and budget-friendly move.

This company and its employee's are complete frauds. They said they were the actual mover not a broker. WRONG, THEY LIED TO US, THEY ARE ONLY A BROKER NOT A MOVING COMPANY. The company that showed up to move us, was a completely different company. They gave us a hard and fast maximum cost for the move. WHEN THE ACTUAL MOVER ARRIVED, THE PRICE FOR THE MOVE WENT FROM $9,350.00 TO $14,000.00. They said the personal property would be taken directly from the home to our new home and it would not be off loaded into a warehouse then onto a larger truck. THEY LIED AGAIN, THE ACTUAL MOVER SAID THE ONLY WAY THEY MAKE A LONG DISTANCE MOVE IS TO TRANSFER THE ITEMS TO ANOTHER LARGER TRUCK.

Movers called 30 minutes prior to arrival, they came right on time. They went above and beyond helping me. They wrapped everything super well. They are professional, efficient and friendly. Also customer service was very great to work with. Absolutely will recommend AmeriSafe Moving Services to everyone looking for a great move!!

Beware! Not a moving company! These are brokers so they take their cut then send criminals to your house and won’t take your calls. Andrew promised me my stuff to arrive in 3 days. Movers show up 6 hours early then once they leave say my stuff will go truck to truck for weeks and maybe will make it to my house. But if I pay over $5000 cash which is extortion it will be at my house as promised. Amerisafe wouldn’t even pick up the phone as I’m sure they saw my phone number and don’t care because they already have your money. And now you are left to try to negotiate with criminal who have all of your belongings on a truck going to no where. Total scam. They should be arrested. Find a moving company and book directly. Don’t go through this nightmare.

Bilal and Jay just loaded up my apartment to move to Colorado. Both gentlemen were friendly and helpful. Packed and loaded my belongings quickly and with care. They have really helped me out. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who has things to move. They definitely reduced my stress. Thank you.

This company is great. The movers were courteous, kind. Took great care of our furniture as if it was their own. Wrapped, taped and loaded. They have an awesome team. They work very well together and I would recommend this company for any move. Long move or a short move. They were awesome.

I do not recommend AmeriSafe at all. We received their estimate and verified it twice with their QA department. When the mover came, the price he gave us was double the price of Amerisafe’s estimate. I can reasonably see the price being a little higher than their estimate, but double the price is ridiculous. When I called Amerisafe’s Customer Service Department to ask about this, they were very unpleasant. The original Salesman who did my estimate wouldn’t take my calls. This bait and switch is very disappointing. I would not recommend them.

BEWARE! This company is a hands-off broker. They will take their portion of the sale, mislead the customer into false expectations, and then route your calls to another company when you call to speak with anyone about issues that arise. I was quoted $4K for a 2 bedroom 850sq ft house move from CO to SC. On the day of the move after the truck was loaded, I was informed the new total was $11K. I was told the loading would take 4-6 hours, it took 10.5. I was offered 30% off the total of my move, I accepted the offer, and was then denied the discount.

One of the least stressful moves I have ever had; would absolutely recommend these guys. I hired them on a approximately short notice and was very attentive. I had some very fragile mirrors that they were able to protect and move without breaking. The price was also the most competitive of the offers I received.

They were so easy to deal with from start to end! I hired AmeriSafe for my recent move. They provided a COI quickly, and be in contact with me every step of the way. The guys who did the move were so nice & friendly! They took the time to show me any damaged spots on my furniture ahead of time, and packed everything with great care. They did my complete move in less than an hour door to door!! If I ever move again I did be sure to use them, and I highly recommend them to anyone.

June 23, 2024 8:45 am. Antonio from Seventh Generation tried to hold my furniture for ransom of an additional $1,000 though I’d already paid them over $5,169. Thank god for the North Lauderdale, Florida police department. At first I thought My Furniture was STOLEN. My delivery was missing. When they finally showed up they tried to charge me $1,000 for redelivery when they didn’t show up on Wednesday as their driver communicated at 8:39 a.m. I was connected with Seventh Generation through Amerisafe Moving. When they arrived May 30th, they had a kid name “Bryan” leading them with no maturity. (A police officer placed a parking ticket on his car, he turned to me and stated, “you’re going to pay for this since this is your move. I approached the police officer to explain they are there to move me out. The police officer approached Brian to ask how long he’ll be. Brian walked away from the officer)

We recently had the pleasure of working with Brandon ** at AmeriSafe. We needed to move 10-15 garment boxes from California to Nevada. I reached out to Amerisafe because the quotes we received from our local movers were very high (over $3,000 for boxes). Brandon's quote was about 50% less than the other quotes. We were hesitant to use a broker at first, but Brandon calmed our concerns. Our experience with Brandon was excellent: first, there was no adjustment to the price quoted. Second, Brandon was always available for our questions along the way, even on weekends. The pick up and delivery were handled exactly as agreed upon (delivery was up to 7 days after pick-up, which is what we agreed to and which occurred). And lastly, our items were delivered in perfect condition. Thank you Brandon.

Roman and his team were very conscientious. They took the time to carefully pack and protect our belongings, and address our specialty items. This is my 5th cross country move and so far the best experience with the least amount of stress. They even took the time to lessen the stress on our pets.

Received follow up call regarding partial refund and to rectify the situation. Situation had been rectified and customer satisfied. Good job fixing situation. Overall satisfied with outcome. Hoping for better exchange in the future.

Updated on 07/12/2025: AmeriSafe called recently and spoke with me about my experience. They informed me some changes had been made to improve their service experience. I was heard by the representative I spoke with. My concerns were addressed. The situation was corrected. I am confident that AmeriSafe is the right movers for me in the future.

After a Google search AmeriSafe Moving Services came out with great reviews and I called them right away to get a moving quote from NY to NC. Emmet was good in answering all my questions. Giovanny at customer service was great. He put me in ease about my move. He promised I was going to be happy and he was total right. Movers came early and I was very happy about that. They packed everything so well, they were amazing by the job they did. Super professional and friendly. Will definitely recommend AmeriSafe to everyone especially the movers. They were AMAZING!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We received a quote from them. They assigned us Vanguard Moving Services, who came a day early, double charged us from the original quote from Amerisafe, damaged our furniture, and charged us for things that weren't provided. No refunds from either company. Don't believe their quote. You have no recourse once you give them a deposit.

On the heels of a move just now with the crew from AmeriSafe Moving. They moved 2 studios into our 2 bed in about an hour. We are absolutely pleased by the speed, service, and how professional all the movers were. I have zero complaints and I was not able to find a cost that came close to their estimate. Phenomenal move, highly recommend this company.

Movers were great listener to all my concerns. The came right on time very professional and polite. The way they wrapped my furniture amazed me. Do not use this company!! They are brokers and contract horrible moving companies that don't have big moving trucks! I got an oversized van pulling a haul....my original quote was $3000 and it ended up costing my almost $6000!!!!! True Movers was the contracted company and they scammed me by saying their trucks were too big to get into my parking lot for pick up and too big to get to my storage unit for drop off....my storage unit has a large gate no trees and a wide driveway so that was a joke about the big truck...I ended up with the same oversized van with haul!! they charged me $1600 in transfer fees saying they had to transfer my furniture from the van and dhal to a bigger truck and then back to the van and haul....I definitely have doubts on that.

My impromptu move was rescued by Roman my driver. Originally I was going to move myself in a rental truck. His patience with the customer and considerate care of my belongings were excellent.. They were able to accommodate me with short notice.. I am so pleased that I made that phone call. Thank you... Perfectly Fast Moving.

I called AmeriSafe Moving Services to get a quote to move from RI to FL and Kyle was my salesman. He was very good and helpful. Answered all questions. Movers came on time then check the storage unit. We had little packing and they were very helpful and kept my price the same, no hidden fee!! I highly recommend AmeriSafe Moving Services to all!!!

Updated on 07/12/2025: I wrote a review on AmeriSafe back when they were supposed to deliver all of our items in October 2024. We moved from Utah to Virginia. If I could give them a negative number I would. With that said, we were made to pay our remaining balance even before the consider unloading our belongings. We were given copies of all the items they removed from our home in Utah. When they delivered it to Virginia our TV"s, Computer screens, clothing and quite a few furniture pieces were missing. Not only that there where boxes that were crushed. I'm going to skip all of what I could say. I was told that I'd have to file claim by Taelor ** and Kyle **. After many emails and phone conversations nothing was ever fixed or done.

This is a broker company working with movers and they are extremely considerate and responsible and answer questions. Moving company as well was professional, responsible and sincere about wanting to protect property. Our property is going to storage and we are hopeful that it will come out of storage as well as it came out of our home. So far I would recommend AmeriSafe Moving Services to all!!

Guys came to pick up location on time, worked very fast, listened carefully to my instructions. The next day truck came to FL to unload, on time worked very efficiently, moved furniture around multiple times as I asked, very satisfied. Nothing was broken, excellent experience all the way around, would highly recommend, thank you.

One of the best experiences with movers I've had. They responded quickly when I reached out for a quote, and were very reasonably priced, Jimmy was awesome!! Veronica at customer service was very helpful. She helped me to understand the process and I felt very comfortable. Day of the movers arrived early and they were very fast and polite. I moved from the top floor of a three story walk-up apartment to a house. They had my items loaded in 2 hours, despite the multiple flights of stairs, and had them unloaded at my new place within 3 days. The team handled my items with care and nothing was broken during the move. You hear so much horrible stories how people get scammed and I was very nervous but I am super happy I chose AmeriSafe Moving Services. I will definitely recommend them to everyone looking for reputable company 10/10.

Love EMG. I have relocated with these movers multiple times now and they are exceptional. Always came on time, super well regulated. I first moved with them years ago when they were much smaller and the operation has grown but they have not lost their courage. Highly recommend movers!

You are in righteous hands with them!! Trouble-free, professional and rapid move. Let me absolutely say they did an beyond belief job overall and went above my expectations in terms of pace, efficiency and expertise. Even though our studio was larger than look forward to, and they had to work longer than schedule, they were polite and moved everything we had to Centennial, CO even all the loose bits we did not have time to pack. They showed up on time and in spite of the fact that they had some trouble finding parking they begin promptly and within few minutes had vacate most of the apartment.

After hearing what happened to me, Todd called to apologize and offered to do what Andrew promised - to write the addendum to my estimate to protect me from being overcharged. That said, between yesterday and today the price went up so I decided to go with another broker since they are going to use the same carrier (truck company) anyway and that broker already provided an addendum, but Todd was willing to fix the mishap including compensation for my time. Given how quickly he responded, I can see there are good people at AmeriSafe with integrity; ask for Todd!

The movers were very courteous and professional. They wrapped everything well and made quick work of moving all of my items. They even went above and beyond getting a couch upstairs! They took the railing off the stairs so it would fit and then put it back on. Very hard workers! I would definitely recommend this company.

My husband called and within the first 30 seconds of talking to someone was told, “It sounds like you won’t be able to afford our service.” My husband has an accent so he was judged on the way he sounded instead of actual facts. The customer representative was extremely belittling the entire time my husband spoke with him. By the end of the call my husband was told we should just sell everything in our home. When my husband tried to thank him for his time, he was rudely hung up on. I will never use this service and the representative should be fired.

AmeriSafe Moving was timely and worked hard from begin to end from San Mateo, CA to FL. It was a huge ease to be met with movers that worked quickly and orderly. It was a very busy day and they complete on time so we would not be charged for additional or extra time. We paid the price they initially quoted for us. They handled our stuff with great care. No surprises on fees! Huge be grateful to you for helping our move go smoothly!

I contacted Amerisafe to help me move for PA to MD. I spoke with Leo. If he answers hang up! He gave me an estimate of 1526.20. I told him the furniture I had and that I had a storage unit and I gave him the size. I did not have the number of boxes but that didn’t seem to bother him. He estimated 400 sq ft but did not tell me my estimate was based on square footage. He assured me all my belongings would be moved.

Know that the company is cash as it were. They were proficient, deferential without a solitary scratch or chip in any of my possessions. I moved from IL to NY recently and this group made a remarkable showing. Had a 8 am beginning time and completed before early afternoon. Would prescribe if getting serious furniture across the city. Certainly worth the cost.

This has never occur different movers we have booked, they normally give you a four hour window and most times I have found they come at the last hour. This was a especially unexpected treat since we had the option to get an early advantage. Movers were really well disposed and accommodating all along, and they were extremely quick! They had our one room furniture and boxes stuffed in about only 1 hour and were quickly out and about. They took care of everything with great consideration making a point to box and wrap all that should have been secured. While setting up the new place, they asked where we needed all that and did not mind if I switched my mind, which was really overall quite adaptable of them. Our entire move required somewhere around 3 hours all out. This was the best moving experience from Massena, NY to Washington, DC we have ever had and we will book this group in the future! 10/10 recommended!

Exceptionally professional, top-notch hauler. They were very expressive about arrival time and called me ~45 minutes before they arrived to let me know their exact arrival time. He was very attentive about our moving needs, moving as quickly as feasible while taking time to meticulously wrap our precious items. My wife and I were so have an impact on by how efficiently they wrapped our furniture in blankets/plastic and disassembled/reassembled furniture as necessary. Despite their lightning speed, nothing was broken!

I had utilized them last year to move from the FL to AZ and they were so extraordinary I used them again this year when I make a move out into my own location. The most efficient moving company I have always used and the best value. This team were so rapid and wore masks the entire time. They kept all my things safe (and dry! even though it was raining the whole time) and planned to take apart my furniture, move it and put it all back together again in just under 2 hours. I advocate them to all my friends when they need movers in the city. Optimistically I would not have to move again soon but if I do I will undoubtedly use them!

Please be careful of using this company. This is a broker company, not a moving company. They do over-the-phone quotes and do not send anyone to your home to do the estimate. We moved an 1800 sqft home, 3 bedroom 2 bath house, and they only provided a 26 ft truck, which ended up being too small and we had to rent an additional Uhaul truck. They took 11 hours to load us up, and 6 hours to unload. Despite being thorough with their loading, wrapping all furniture, the move was ill-conceived and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

They were so considerate, supportive, kind, and expert. They came on time and were so staggeringly supportive. I can not suggest them enough. They carried each of my weighty boxes out of my room rapidly and stacked up the truck. They brought every one of the cases up to my new room and assisted me with arranging my room set-up. They even returned after we called 30 minutes after they left to dispose of a work area I wound up not having space for. The cost is likewise perfect - particularly contrasted with different movers. I am moving again from FL to NYC in 2 months and will utilize them in the future!

Very disappointed. They gave me a quote for 900 cubic feet after going through a pretty detailed inventory list then the actual contracted moving guys gave me a quote for 1500 cubic ft. Doubled my dollar amount. They said it happens 9 times out of 10. How is that allowed? Amerisafe customer service said it is completely justifiable!

Alec from AmeriSafe Moving Service helped me to book my move from State College, PA to Berlin, MD. Process was very smooth and easy to work with. Movers came time. Got right to work. Were very experienced. Very hard workers and fast and efficient. We had to special packing. They need to be done that wasn’t on my original estimate but the movers accommodate me and waive all charges, also very important to me I wanted same day delivery and they drived 300 miles to get it done. Highly recommend to all!!!

After living in Hampton, NH for 34 years we decided got health reasons to move close to family in MA. Would Totally suggest this company. They took an exceptionally upsetting interaction and made it simple. Everything was unquestionably smooth with my move from FL to IL, from my initial call to booking the move, to movers dropping everything off at the last objective. Everybody was inconceivably useful and informative en route also. The movers were on time, quick, too and mindful and proficient. AmeriSafe Moving is seriously evaluated and no games or tricks like I have encountered somewhere else. I will utilize them in the future and recommending to my companions in general and family, and colleagues.

They organized our 2 bedroom apt move in 3 hours, plus everything. This team was respectful and efficient. They were even kind enough to take down curtain rods and a cabinet for us, which was above and beyond. We have a baby, which makes moving all that more difficult, but these guys knocked it out and were friendly and quick. They were super cost-effective and there were no extra fees. (A friend of mine had a nightmare storyline where the movers demanded more money before releasing her boxes--this was the total opposite.) Also! They even showed up early, which was a bonus! Prompt, quick, efficient, friendly, and inexpensive--well worth it! Do yourself a kindness and book these guys for any move.

I reached out to AmeriSafe Moving Services to help me to move from NY to TX from a military base and Leo helped me to book my move. He was great. Process was quick. Team were excellent to work with. They were very fun and super professional. They packed everything very well and efficient!! My team leader look like he was 30 years old and when he told me he is 50 years I was shocked and I had to pick up my jaw of the floor. He is the best I ever worked with and especially moving from an army post this was the best moving experience!!! This company is a SCAM. DO NOT USE THEM. They will give you a low quote to get your business and then when the time movers come it will cost you more. I worked with Brandon and he removed all my outdoor patio items to get the quote down without my knowledge. Then they would not stand by the original quote and wanted to change me more. They will do anything to scam you for your money. DO NOT USE THEM!!! I would not even give them one star, but you have to give them some kind of rating.

I am very grateful to the guys for helping me move my stuff, they did everything very quickly, arrived on time, were very polite and careful with my stuff. This was a great group of guys. They showed up on time. They were done packing the truck when they said they would be. They showed up at the storage unit when they said they would be there. They packed everything perfectly. They completed the storage unit so that I can access it when necessary and did it in an extremely timely manner. I even had another U-Haul that I needed to take some stuff to the house and they move that stuff from the truck into the other U-Haul I had. Highly recommended.

I had recently booked Amerisafe broker services and Cobra Van Lines moving company for my interstate move and they were great. They were patient with all my questions and they helped me with the packing as well. They offer a better price. They keep you updated throughout the process. I would recommend them for your next move.

On 10/29/2024 I received a call from customer service for AmerSafe moving company, asking me if I could talk about my review I posted a couple of weeks ago about my unprofessional experience with this company.

The company did try to resolve the issue with a lot of the missing items. They show empathy and I do appreciate that the manager did reach out as soon as she seen my review to help me and assist me with a solution on any of the missing items, I appreciate her for reaching out, and I appreciate them for trying to find some of a solution for me.

We moving from MD to Frankford, DE and the excellent. The movers was super professional, polite and super hard working. They came & right away started to clear the storage unit then continue to the home to get the rest of the truck, we had a full truck with lots of items. They kept the price the same even though we had more items. I really appreciate them so much and my boyfriend will be moving soon also and we are definitely going to call AmeriSafe Moving Services to help us with his move. I highly recommend them to everyone!!!

This company was a pleasure to work with. This is our first time using them for a move. They are punctual, detail oriented and thorough. They made me laugh while they packed everything, making me forget how painful it was to lose my husband, once the work was finished everything was well wrapped, I thanked them for their excellent work. Thanks to Cobra Van Lines and their team, they made this move an easy day for me, from my heart I thank them, highly recommended.

After searching online for a reputable moving company I founded AmeriSafe Moving Services. Everyone was very polite and courteous. The movers are very very professional, polite and super kind. They took care of my belongings and loaded the truck very nice and neat. They were on time. Everyone had a uniform and I felt so happy to have them helping me with the move. After hearing so bad stories about moving companies I feel so blessed to have an excellent moving experience. Those guys are awesome. This turning into a nightmare! No response from the moving company! They put our furniture and etc. other items in storage. Afraid we won’t ever see them again. No response for 3 days. First we could understand they were coming and would be there in a couple of days. Now no one answers. And now who do we call for an answer! If they lost our stuff just say so! But let us know what is happening! Is that too much to ask?

The service was great!! Very fast moving process and arrived on time! Made sure all my boxes were taped shut and safe. Had multiple people help to make the move faster. They had extra supplies as well. It was really really good and they kept it all very very very very clean.

Cobra Van Lines, Dany and his team did a great job for our AmeriSafe move, job ** packing in space was nicely done. They were curious and professional in their service. We moved some furniture and lots of boxes. But somehow they made it work in the space they had available.

I signed up with AmeriSafe Moving Services within 20 minutes. The estimate was given over the phone by Alex based upon the information I gave him. Afterwards I had to revised the items I was shipping because I had more than I initially realized. New estimate was giving and when the movers arrived I was slightly over but they honored the original estimate and they also going to deliver my goods the next day as promised. Originally I was scared as I heard bad stories on other movers but this experience matched my greatest expectations. I want to thank AmeriSafe for job well done and will definitely recommend them to anyone!!

This company is a complete and utter scam. DO NOT LET THEM LIE TO YOU AS THEY ARE NOT A MOVING COMPANY AND SUBCONTRACT THE MOVE TO OTHER COMPANIES which leaves you in the dark on everything. Lies upon lies and our cost continues to go up. We were abundantly clear that we wanted our stuff in its own truck and was promised by DEAN that our stuff would be shipped in its own truck numerous times. We told DEAN that we would be in Texas on a specific date and was assured our stuff would arrive then, next thing you know we arrive in Texas and I get a call letting me know our stuff is 2 weeks out, like who in the hell would set someone's stuff to arrive 2 weeks after they get to their home????

Coordination from AmeriSafe Moving Services to the movers was flawless. Movers were prompt and on time, very importantly our personal items were packed professionally with bubble wrap, moving blankets and shrink wrapped making sure we will get it in a perfect condition in FL. Misquoted my move costs by 100%. I could not believe that the resulting cost was 2x the estimate. They only did this so they could be competitive, and in the end they were the least competitive option. To add insult to injury, when I called Leo to let him know of their error, they hung up on me. Their sales tactics are aggressive, misleading and unconscionable. They put so much pressure on me to sign that day, even though I insisted on getting other options. Do not use this company.

The crew at Cobra Van Lines made our moving experience a great one. They had to move us during hurricane Helen which came with its own challenges but the crew kept us updated while navigating through the storm. They set up the move for my mother from Saratoga Spring, NY to Waterford, CT and I must say the service was excellent from pick up to the delivery in CT all in the same day. The team are super friendly, super efficient & super professional! They were very careful with our items and not a single item was damaged. They conducted themselves professionally, without any misbehavior, maintaining a calm atmosphere. I am very happy with the service I received from AmeriSafe Moving Services, and Cobra Van Lines, the trucking company they hired. Andrew, and Miguel and the crew were amazing. I got screwed over by another moving company, and they rerouted to get me taken care of. They didn't have to do what they did, but they got me taken care of. Fantastic service. I found AmeriSafe moving services online and called and spoke to Brandon, he was great and his communication level was very good, we felt very comfortable with him and we booked our move to AR right away. Amerisafe is a SCAM. Slick salesman never mentioned they were a broker not a mover. THEY ARE NOT MOVERS. Day of move the movers came gave us a quote. Never mentioning this quote was incomplete. Second day of move They loaded a truck. After they completed which they actually still left some items … they gave us another quote. I did not agree to this. My elderly mother was there and signed….. after I was made aware the total cost was 15k over the original estimate I requested they release my items. They told me only if I pay 13k ALEC FROM AMERISAFE THEN BLOCKED US.

Walter and Isiah were real professional, they definitely made me feel more than comfortable about the job, and the experience was great overall. Walter was able to explain everything very well and was able to also help out with the price due to me having more stuff than I thought.

Guys did a great job. Top notch crew. Alex and crew were on time and worked hard. Pleasant. Actually did a split move so we're here 2 times and both times very pleased with them. From the pickup to the 1st delivery in Ohio everything went smoothly. Would highly recommend.!!! Even the neighbors were impressed.

An Absolute Nightmare with AmeriSafe Moving Company. I cannot express how infuriated and disgusted I am with the appalling service provided by AmeriSafe Moving Company during our move from Georgia to California. What was supposed to be a straightforward relocation turned into a relentless ordeal that drained us financially, emotionally, and physically.

Before committing any funds to Amerisafe be forewarned that they will only refund your money at 20 cents on the dollar rate. Their estimate means nothing because the actual mover will conduct their own calculation and in my case demanded an additional 6 thousand dollars. You can’t refuse to pay because Amerisafe will only refund 20% of your down payment which in my case was 8 thousand dollars. I don’t recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Service was excellent and wrapped tightly in a timely manner. Only small concern was a misunderstanding on pricing, $200 for packaging that I thought was included but was sorted fine. Otherwise was excellent and professional. Van arrived on the earlier of the 2 listed days; and in the morning. All items were treated with care.

Movers were very polite and efficient, they were careful with the job that they doing. Team were Very responsive and kept me informed throughout the process. Will definitely recommend to everyone.

Updated on 09/28/2024: I wrote a review here on 9/15/24 so that consumers would be aware that this company will lie to you about its policies and its ability to move you on an certain day and then scam you and say “your stuff will take 7 days to arrive” and “you will be notified of your move date THE DAY BEFORE” (how could that possibly be good for anyone?). Someone named adrient responded to my post and said they want to try and make it right. They offered $300 to change my original post. They bribed me to lie on their behalf. I responded and said that if they refund the entire amount that the swindled out of me in an unethical way - I would change my review to reflect that they made it right in the end. Shame on this company.

They talked to me about each step of service that would be given. I appreciate the care they took with my belongings, and safe handling. I would hire them again! Thank you.

Majdi was incredibly helpful and easy to work with and offered to help us build anything we needed help with. Was super understanding of our living situation (on an Army base) and communicated well - felt very comfortable with our stuff being with him. Worked for us and did what he could to make our move easy!

My experience with AmeriSafe was great, from initial conversations with Jimmy to customer service was excellent. Jimmy was awesome to work with, was very patient with me and explained me all the process. Movers called me 1/2 an hour prior to arrival they did the initial walkthrough and notice I had more items than anticipated but they worked with me and I am very happy with the price. I couldn’t have asked for a better moving experience. The team was very patient and professional and I felt very comfortable with them in my home. I would strongly recommend AmeriSafe for anyone considering a long distance move. AmeriSafe definitely stand up for the name ❤️.
