The Customer Service at Amerisafe, particularly Giovanni, the Customer Service Manager was exceptional. He helped us on our move with the claims process and was able to provide us with our settlement amount. He acted quickly on the resolution of our matter once he became aware of it, and it was quickly rectified..

The pick up crew was very professional and efficient. We had a lot of non standard items the we needed moved from our pottery business a well as all is our household goods. I recommend VRT Line for your moving needs! Fast service, and a quick move. It helped having a professional crew with a stressful move.

The crew went to work immediately, were good natured and thoughtful, and completed packing and unpacking in record time. Items arrived in good condition. They made a stressful endeavor a ride in the park. I recommend them highly. They worked under hot and somewhat difficult conditions without a complaint and were always polite and professional.

This started off as a pleasant experience, sales and customer service we great at first. But once I paid the deposit and their local movers came to pick up my items, it went downhill fast. I understand that some pricing may change on pickup, but my quoted price of 950 dollars on pickup shot up to 2150. Price on delivery went from 950 to 1600. Aside from that, packing up my items went well enough. Once they were picked up, we headed off from California to Michigan. Our items were picked up on June 7th and I was told by Amerisafe that our shipment could even arrive before we got to Michigan on the 16th. This was... far from the case. I tried reaching out to Amerisafe and their local movers but neither company would respond to phone or email. I waited a month before I was told that our items had shipped out, and they had been sitting in a warehouse during that time.

Quote (Where the lies begin). I spoke with Michael Henry, he seemed knowledgeable, and it appeared he was trying to be as accurate as possible. It was important to me that I didn’t use just a broker. I wanted a true moving company and have the same team from beginning to end. He said, “oh you will work with me the whole time. I want you to like me at the end of all this.” Well after he got my down payment I never heard from him again.

Manny and his team did a great job; worked diligently until finished!. They were very courteous and despite the heat kept working until finished. Having only one helper made it harder to complete the job in a timely manner but they really worked hard and efficiently. When I had questions, they responded immediately!

Highly recommend Amerisafe Moving! Great communication (we got a text letting us know when they would be here!), amazing attention to detail (they brought their own floor covering and wrapped the door frame with padding to protect it from dings!), reasonable price (it was as expected) and really nice guys. We will use them from now on for all of our moves!

Amerisafe Moving Services assisted me with my move last year. It was such a positive experience, that I reached out for them to help me again this year. They did not disappoint. My move coordinator, Eslam, was very proficient and kept great communication throughout the whole process. He did a fantastic job of taking care of all the details, making my move less stressful. I recommend Amerisafe Moving Services and will use them again in the future. Everything worked out so well.

The crew came on time, were very fast, polite, and extremely helpful! They did a wonderful job! Scheduling was very east and convenient. I would definitely use Amerisafe again, especially when planning quick packing. Provided some boxes. Packed my mirror. Everything was great. They also helped me to dump my mattress.

I told them exactly what was in my apartment and they quoted me for 600 cubic feet. Actual was 1100 cubic feet!!! They put my boxes into big wardrobe boxes so they could charge me for 7 wardrobe boxes $175. The apartment distance charge was $100 per 75 feet. I am 280 feet from the moving truck. They charged me $900! That's $500 over!!! Then when they were supposed to deliver nobody came. I called the next day and they have no idea where my belongings are. For these reasons I am giving them 1 star.

Overall job done very well. Was very pleased with the pick up. Cost was quite a bit more than the original estimate because of more items. Just didn't think price would have gone up that much. I could have used the extra 3000 it cost but it's done and don't have to worry about it.

Terrible experience, no communication. Their estimate was competitive until the movers got there and said it would cost over 30% more than estimate. They have unprofessional staff who are rude and unable to communicate clearly and provide any information. Their contracts are a hoax and they are just looking to take your money! DO NOT GO WITH AMERISAFE!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. STAY AWAY. I have been on top of them to get my stuff that was loaded onto a truck back on the 21st of June, with no estimated delivery date. I told them to get it here by the 30th which would have been well within the window but they didn't bother doing that. I am STILL without any of my stuff and they claim it could be up to 14 "business" days before the truck is even loaded and items shipped.

AJ and Zack helped me move. They are kind, considerate and very professional. They know their job and do it well. They are experienced, you can tell from their work flow. They were very thorough in their work, and also very sociable. They are hard workers, very patient and careful in the packing and loading.

Do not use this company. Run, do not walk away. They give you a lower quote and answers all your questions with the answers they know you want to hear. All lies. After you sign the contract, the cost is forever changing. Every time I talked with them or the movers they assigned me, the cost went up. The day of the move the movers AmeriSafe outsourced me to showed up and demanded an additional $500 or the would not load my furniture and I would lose my deposit. We tried calling AmeriSafe but they were no help. They know they have you over a barrel and do not care. When my furniture arrived the next day, the moving company demanded an additional $400 or they would put my belongings into storage which I would have to pay for. The entire process seemed like an extortion racket. 

The moving company has done a great loading job! Very professional and hardworking. The group hasn’t stopped and it is very hot! This has been a good experience so far. They have done a great job and hoping the rest of the move goes as smoothly. They also worked around two dogs. Very pleased with the service and thankful for great work and attitudes.

They responded to all of our wishes no matter how difficult. They had to walk up and down a hill to our house to load the trunk and had to go up and down to the second floor carrying heavy items on both ends. I would highly recommend them.

Whatever you do DO NOT...I repeat DO NOT use this company. If I could give negative stars this company would earn all of them! My move cost increased 3X... came to pick up my things over 7 hours late...three movers were going to show up but only two did, which meant I was packing the truck! My items were picked up May 20th and I am writing this review on June 27th and I still have ZERO idea or evidence my belongings are going to be moved to me. The "general manager" gave me his personal number when I canceled because I had a bad feeling about this company. He lied, as when I called about the move, he never replied to me, called me back, and then stopped taking my calls. I have never paid so much money to be dealing with so much incompetence. I have no hope I will ever see my belongings again.

The owner Frank reached out to me directly and promised to make it right. He was very polite and promised to work on all reported issues and ensured me that he will ensure my grievances are addressed.

The two guys did a great job, were friendly, professional and meticulous. They ensured all the furniture was wrapped well and they took their time to ensure that everything was taken on board the truck. We really appreciated their friendliness and great service. We will certainly look forward to using this company again after past issues we have experienced.

I just had my pickup for my cross country move from Colorado to Florida. My move is being completed by VRT Line. Jon and his crew are amazing!!! I was so nervous about the loading of my things and my move as a whole. Jon reassured me that they were going to take care of everything and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. He was absolutely correct! Jon and his crew were meticulous with wrapping my items, were very careful and efficient! They were so friendly and easy to work with. I couldn’t be happier with the crew. I am so impressed. I would highly recommend Jon with VRT Line to anyone moving. They are the best!

Extremely truthful and great to work with! These crew stands beyond their work with clear communication and probity. Excellent moving support. I had a complex move with multiple stops and a move out of town and they treated everything with ease and elegance and regard. They put things together that they did not take apart. They treated everything professionally and worked their butts off all day with smiles on their faces. The movers packed up my entire things in one day. They had suitable equipment and staff for the move, and moved everything the next day. Everyone was courteous, efficient, very expert about carrying everything, organized things in their marking of the boxes. They were very manageable about placing furniture in the new home.

We were pleased with the whole experience. Moving can be a very stressful thing but with the help of this team member from AmeriSafe that was extremely professional, efficient and friendly. Nothing was even lightly damaged or broken. They helped us quickly pack a heavy things that were not ready for them. They did great job.

Unbelievable service. The guys was super careful with my move while also being very prompt. They also had some fun while doing the move, so the energy was great. Price was also affordable. Very quick and hard working movers. This was perfect for our small home. We have used two times moves and we have been inspired both times. We had a great experience with them. We will never use another company. Team was extremely professional, helpful, and a joy to work with. All of our communication was fast and smooth.

Read the reviews posted outside of Amerisafe's website and sponsored marketing sites! We had a terrible experience. We shared the square footage of our house and talked through all furniture items with sales rep, Leo. He logged everything and kept repeating that we could trust him, that he has been doing this for a long time. We listed all furniture items and we asked how many additional boxes we could include (he said 100). Leo assured us that there was plenty of room on the truck and we would be the only items on the truck.

My wife and I went with Amerisafe Moving Services because they were recommended by USAA. Otherwise I would not have chosen them. Initially Brandon and Leo were helpful. They answered our questions, provided "supposed" discounts on our move from PA to TX. Made us feel reassured about our decision. However, we get to TX on the confirmation day and we call the company they contracted our move too and the truck with all our household goods is still sitting in a warehouse in Maryland with no sense of urgency when it will be on the road. This has created unnecessary financial issues since my wife and I had to spend close to $3k to buy stuff that should've been in TX. We have tried on numerous occasions to contact both Brandon and Leo, but no response at all. Ended paying double the amount that was agreed upon. The worse damn company!! Not Veteran supportive.

These guys were so great, nice and friendly, very efficient and quick!. The whole process was easy. I would definitely hire them again. The team Packed everything securely. They were able to put the chalk on the very narrow driveway and got the job done at the end of the day.

I was quoted based on 350cf which was based on my description of items and number of boxes. I was charged for a higher cf amount by the contracted carrier which is fine if that is what the correct load size. I spoke to customer service and sent a video of load. No response, 3 unanswered emails. I subsequently called with my concern about the carrier demanding cash only upon final delivery. Customer Service was glib and unhelpful and I was told "read your contract". Driver arrived and demanded cash to be paid before he would unload. Bottom line HORRIBLE customer service and paid 55% more than original contract.

TL;DR get labor-only movers and a U-haul if you see this in time. NOT Amerisafe. Three weeks ago, after accepting a job offer in another city, I started planning to move 100 miles away. After calling around to a few different moving companies and getting outrageously expensive (to me, at least) quotes, I found Amerisafe. I spoke to one of their salesmen who was professional and helpful. What stuck with me was how he said, "I'm sure you want this to be the last call you have to make, so I'll see how close we can get to the price you're looking for." I told him my budget, and he worked with me until we came to a number that sounded reasonable--i.e., giving a discount for having my own TV box and mattress bag, and another discount for being flexible on the exact date, etc. It seemed like a very thorough, informative call.

I was able to work with Frank and we were able to come to an agreeable conclusion. They were more than willing to work with me to resolve the issue at hand.

In the beginning of May 2025, my husband and I were in the process of moving from California to Georgia and we were looking for movers. We saw an ad on Google for AmeriSafe so, we decided to try this company out. We called and spoke to a young salesperson by the name of Jacob. We told him what we needed. He asked for the size of our place. We had a one bedroom, one bath apartment. We also had furniture in a storage unit that we needed them to pick up. We explained this to Jacob that we needed the storage things picked up as well Item by item. He told us from what we had in both spaces our total was around $3700. We paid 50% upfront.

Anthony and his team were outstanding. Anthony communicated effectively throughout the process at pickup and delivery. He and his team made the moving experience worry free. They made sure we were happy with the results and we were. The attention to detail was excellent. I would recommend Anthony and his team to anyone who has a need for a long distance move. They are true professionals.

A really high level of expertness. They were impressively organized but also careful when shifting and wrapping my items. They capably disassembled and reassembled my things with conscientious care, using covering and wire to protect all my things. When we arrived at the new place, they always asking me about where I wanted to put back my things and they also arrange all my items in new particular area. They have everything done within 2 hours. We were very satisfied with this company. Just a while ago we moved one bedroom home nearby. The team came on time and complete their job quickly, about in 4 hours. Our things was incomplete and reunite quickly without problems. The value for money is excellent. They have affordable pricing. They are kind people to work with. We would highly recommend their services.

Amerisafe is scam company. They quoted me 2 different quotes, their mover they brokered out showed up over 3 hours past the time they were slotted to show up, and wanted to charge us $2,000 more. I called amerisafe, and the girl on the phone was rude, I explained to her I was a veteran, retired military and she questioned whether I was a veteran because I was upset. That just made me more upset. They need to be investigated by the Florida attorney general, I plan to report them to every agency, state and federal. This cannot stand. Avoid at ALL costs!!!

AmeriSafe Moving Company truly exceeded my expectations! From the initial quote to the final delivery, their team was incredibly professional, efficient, and careful with all of my belongings. The movers arrived on time, worked tirelessly, and were very polite. Everything arrived safely and without a scratch. I highly recommend AmeriSafe for a stress-free and reliable moving experience!

If I could give 0 or negative stars I would. They are not a trustworthy company. They are brokers not an actual moving company. I was told by one representative that he would be with me from start to finish. The day before my move a different person called for a list of inventory. It became a new contract vs adding to the existing. It basically doubled the cost. It is a scam!!!! Find a local company and you will have a better experience and save a lot of money.

I called to get a quote and information. And after a lengthy call with the sales rep I Was transferred to Nick. He was pushy and arrogant. When I said I could not book today and I needed to talk with my husband he told me I was wasting his time and he hung up one me.

Submitted information for an estimate and they called my girlfriend immediately. Had high hopes with fast customer service and then the man said she was wasting his time, got aggressive, and called her “honey.” He said they were fully booked until August, and said we have to schedule in advance. She clarified we’re planning a move next year, and he said she was wasting time and asked how it made sense. At this point we hung up the phone. Don’t recommend doing business with a sexist company who treats people with such a condescending attitude.

Very friendly and fast. Awesome workers. Would love to have them bring my stuff when I get to Florida. I highly them. They are awesome on getting everything packed and ready to go. Thank you for all the work they saved me on packing.

I had a great experience with AmeriSafe Moving Company. The team was professional, punctual, and handled all of my belongings with care. They made the entire moving process smooth and stress-free. Communication was clear from start to finish, and the pricing was fair. I highly recommend them for any move!

The movers arrived on site when they said they would be, they got my things wrapped up and loaded pretty fast, they told me what they were planning to do, communicated anything they needed from me, they answered my questions about the move, and they stayed fairly close to the estimate I was given.

I was given a reasonable quote that was TRIPLED by the aptly named Sleepless movers once my belongings were on the truck. I had to rush to get both a certified check for more than 5000 PLUS more than $600 in CASH. I was stunned. Don't even think about hiring these people.

I have requested a quote in the beginning of March, their customer center called in 5 minutes, asked for all of the items I need to move. We went through the list couple of times and then I got the quote according to estimated cubic feet my belongings will use. They have scheduled the moving date and I started packing. ILYA and Alex were my movers, they arrived on time and wrapped my TV in a box and furniture in blankets. They were so gentle and professional. They loaded the truck and showed me how much space it took. I am so glad everything is clear with no bait and switch or hidden fees. After couple of days dispatch contacted me and scheduled delivery day in Texas. In a week big semi truck arrived at my new place and 2 other guys (driver and his helper) unloaded everything and nothing was broken. I got such a smooth experience with AMERISAFE. Definitely recommend.

Everything was wonderful!! Tair, Arsen and Umid were very helpful, quick, and polite!!!! Everything was very efficient and they were very careful with all our things!!! They wrapped my grandmother's china cabinet very carefully as well as the bed and tables!! We had an additional pickup site and they kindly came there as well!! I would recommend AmericanExpress to everyone.

I would not recommend AmeriSafe Moving Services to anyone. I have left numerous voicemails with never a return call, inaccurate pricing, not being upfront with the customer by telling them what the deposit is when the movers get here.

We moved from Wyoming to North Carolina in February 2025. We needed to change moving companies about 4 weeks prior to our move. From the beginning with AmeriSafe, different individuals shared different information about what types of moving trucks would move us, how much weight our items would be, the price of the move, etc.. It seemed very disjointed and then the broker for the move, No Borders Moving & Storage got involved. Lorenzo, the owner, disagreed with what AmeriSafe had told us. I took videos of what we had already packed and what they needed to pack and move. He was coming himself to supervise the move, or so he told us. We soon learned that much of what he said was not true. We had to change the moving date due to a WY snowstorm. The movers who arrived wrapped our furniture carefully and appeared to be knowledgeable.

Horrible company. Starts off good, then they get you after setting a price. Moving company hired was a joke and broke stuff. They took advance of elderly. Tried to contact and email them 3 times and never got a response. So I contact the moving company directly, got email back saying sorry maybe it was miscommunication. They moving truck was 3 days late, charged more and then want to hold your stuff hostage until you pay them to release the stuff. Do not use Amerisafe or D and H Express Moving ever.

Noel and Ahmed carefully and efficiently wrapped and loaded our furniture. They handled our boxes with the same care. They were in and out for this process in about 4 hours. Delivery to our new place was just as efficient. I had packed some boxes pretty heavy which did crush down a couple boxes a bit but nothing was damaged. Hard working crew.

I recently reached out to several movers for quotes on moving from Alabama to Florida. After receiving multiple quotes with a wide variety of costs, I selected Amerisafe Moving Services based on their initial estimate. Unfortunately, this has evolved to one of the worst decisions in my life. My initial quote was just under $2,000.00. It has now reached nearly $5,600.00. This is by far the worst case of "bait and switch" I have ever experienced.

I SO regret booking through this BROKER! The sales agent painted a wonderful picture of how wonderful it would all be. I had such a HARD time and many, many issues with the company they sub-contracted with (Pack and Load Moving & Storage. I ended having to pay $2000 MORE than my quoted price before they would give me my belongings. They were 1 day late for pick up and took them 12 days to deliver my things! Amerisafe did NOTHING to intervene. They never picked up my call or responded to my e-mails when I pleaded for their help. Losers!! Don't ever book with this broker!

Amerisafe is not a moving company. They are a broker. They quote you a price and take their third and then they are basically done with you. They then reserve a local mover for you. The movers they hired for me didn't exist on any internet search. Upon arrival the company quoted us twice what Amerisafe had agreed as the finished price. I of course called Amerisafe and was told I needed to speak to my salesperson Michael. He did not answer that call or respond to any further calls.

Everything about the moving experience was so relieving. Doing the quote and getting things scheduled, great and easy. Communication regarding pickup was so well, I never had any questions about where the movers were at, time it would take. The 2 gentleman that actually moved all my stuff did everything so quick and efficiently, it was done way before I thought it would be. When I move down the road, I’ll be calling back to use them again.

Movers were very professional, extremely fast, did excellent work. They were very easy to work with, on top of everything. They wrapped all my belongings super well. I am very impressed. This is my first move of long distance and they make it super easy, was very concerned in the beginning but after this amazing crew got to my house all my fear disappear.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - FRAUDULENT! They are a broker and contract with local companies and literally wash their hands of any issues. I contracted with this company to move my 80-year-old/handicapped mother from Denver to Delaware. The sales rep, Emmet, assured me they were able to handle a senior move and we would be well taken care of. He also told me the delivery would take 3-5 days from pickup and that the driver would keep us informed every step of the way. NONE OF THIS HAPPENED. I should have canceled the day the pack team showed up with 2 ** individuals who couldn't speak a word of English making packing and labeling boxes very difficult.

I called AmeriSafe Moving Services to get a quote for a move from CT to VA and John helped me with the process. He was very good of explaining me the whole process, I didn’t know that I needed to list every item that we going to move but he helped me and I am happy to had him as my salesman. Movers came on time very punctual and super professional. They packed everything well and were very careful worth my items. 2 days later we received our belongings in VA. We will definitely recommend to everyone. Super happy with the movers!!

Highly Highly recommend!! Great workers! They wrapped everything carefully and took care of my items with care. So nothing would get damaged!! They were nice and polite. They answered all the questions I asked. Job very well done!! They communicated well with when they would be arriving. Best movers ever!!

We did not go ahead and hire this company because Leo, who is the sales person was rude, pushy, and obnoxious. Would not recommend this company at all. End of the call he told us that we wasted his time.

Clinton and Joseph were professional and very helpful with the move they made. Everything was secure. Also very friendly which made the move so much better. They were a great help, on time and text me to know where they were giving me ETA. Great service.

Excellent service from start to finish, SUPERB!! From my frost conversion with Emmet to their customer service I was very pleased, they explained the whole process as I had lots of questions. Movers were fast and efficient, very quick and professional. If I ever move again I will definitely use AmeriSafe moving services to 10/10 👍🏼👍🏼.

I worked with AmeriSafe to plan an in-state move. I was quoted a total price based on the size of my home and estimated belongings and because they could complete a one-day move with morning pick up. A couple days before my move, I had a call with the AmeriSafe coordinator to confirm my items. There were a few additions and a few eliminations-- The coordinator called it a wash. On move day, the "movers" showed up a couple of hours late, with fewer movers than they said the day prior and were late to my house due to a sensor issue in their truck. I had to call to find out where they were-- No one called me. They showed up with a rented U-Haul truck and immediately looked at my items and said there was more cubic feet than on the invoice (he had a different invoice than I did) and will cost an additional $477.00. Fastest math I've ever seen. Pretty sure I was covering the cost of their U-Haul rental.

Plan: Depart ID and drive to AZ April 2nd at 6am in my personal vehicle to attend father's funeral then drive to TX, April 8th. I Was not able to drive my vehicle to AZ because the moving truck never showed up on April 1st. That forced me to buy a last minute plane ticket to fly to AZ then fly back to ID to meet the moving truck. I was told the moving truck will be there at 8am April 9th. Truck showed up at 2pm. They finished packing everything around 1 or 2 am. I was never given a revised estimate after the employees looked what needed to be moved. They ran out of packing material and didn't notify me until I asked why isn't this closet and the rest of the bathroom packed? I had to purchase my own materials the following morning to complete the packing and load everything leftover in my vehicle.

Whatever you do, do not select this moving company. I was given an original quote which was low. I expected that close to our move date, we would review and revise, which we did. We provided every item we were putting on the truck and paid the updated higher quote. This was fine, we expected it. Then, when the movers arrived they wanted another $3500. We were stuck - What do you do when they are in your driveway and you have to move? AmeriSafe uses other companies to move, in this case they selected No Borders. When I called to complain about the cost, I was put in touch with Giovanni (customer service) who proceeded to tell me it was my fault, that we added things to the move not on the record/quote. He was rude, condescending, and could have cared less about my concern.

DO NOT USE AMERISAFE… They are not Movers, but brokers.. Then they assign your moving to what seems like day workers with very little or no experience in moving… Please hear me… It is the biggest scam.. They gave me a quote over the phone, almost double in price when the came to my home the day of move…. I would have cancelled, but was now stuck because I would have lost my very large deposit.. They are only nice; until they get your deposit… Then the non/caring, don’t give a damn attitude.. They also do not care for your furniture… I had lots of damage… This company is a nightmare… Use a company that actually does the moving… You don’t need a broker or a middle man… I thought my actual move would cost me about $5,000… It cost me more like $10,000 when they were finished with me… Very sad… Do Not Use Them.

Updated on 07/28/2025: This is an update from a previous review 1 star review. I was contacted by this company regarding the review. I foolishly thought to reimburse me for damaged items and services not provided. However, they offered me $300 to change my review to a 5 star. I said yes and to send the money first, they said no lololol. This unethical company needs to be avoided.

Nothing went right. Was given two different pick-up times: the first was 3 pm, the second was between 9-11 am. Crew arrived at 3:45pm. Wasted the day trying to figure out where they were and when they were coming. Lead guy made a lot of excuses though the two other guys were quick and efficient. My sister and I ended up having to help move furniture. Price ended up being more than double initially quoted. Would never want to use this company again.

Everything was top notch and efficient. I would highly recommend them for the care they took and the highly profession way they performed our move from the packing of our house in Cary to the unpacking in South Florida. I liked that it was the same team doing both jobs.

I want to share my experience with Amerisafe Moving Services to help others avoid the same nightmare. The initial quote changed several times during the move, but the emailed quotes came as links that expired, making it impossible to reference their original terms. They arrived a day late, failed to apply a payment that had cleared, and ultimately refused to unload any belongings at the new house. This was particularly distressing for my elderly parents, especially since my father is battling stage 4 cancer. The movers fought with them and wouldn’t even unload the bed from the truck.

Foreman and crew are good at understanding the situation and getting to work wrapping everything and caring for all things great and small. Very professional. They came for the walk through was thoughtful, active and on time. It was a wonderful experience. They provide with lots of tips for making the move painless and explained everything. On Moving day crew worked so quick, the truck was packed in one hour and this included wrapping, padding and boxing everything with anxiously. They were courteous and friendly guys. They asked where things should be put and happily moved things many times until the position was where I liked. Highly suggested.

Avoid at all costs. They are very pleasant when trying to get you as a customer, however, this all changes as soon as you pay. There are many hidden fees that you do not learn about until moving day. Customer service was very poor. The customer service representative I spoke with became very defensive and raised her voice throughout the conversation. Overall, wish I would have avoided this company from the start.

VRT guys were awesome! I’m moving across country and have a LOT of stuff! I also have two upright antique pianos and antique carved wood furniture and lots of glass. What could be more of a test than that?! They did an excellent jobs, were very helpful and friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

I recently programme a move with them. This team is superb. From the start, they were very communicative. On the morning of the move, they were quick and professional. They stuffed my apartment with care and consideration and I was happy that no items were damaged or engrave during the move. They truly had a system in-place for the transporting of the apartment, the loading and unloading of the truck. I would tremendously recommend them.

From start to finish this was a great company to work with, they had great communication every step of the process. They were caring and understanding with a stressful process that moving is. Do not use AmeriSafe. They are only a broker and while the estimate, done over the phone, looked good, it was thrown out the window when the mover AmeriSafe chose repriced the day of pickup. The mover, Cobra Van Lines, reprice was thousands more than the original estimate and calls to AmeriSafe were totally unhelpful as they said the final pricing was really up to the mover. Cobra Van Lines then stored our items for several months while we looked for a home purchase and when the our belongings finally arrived cross country we had dozens and dozens of boxes crushed/ dropped and items broken, including 3 large screen TVs.

Bristol Movers provided exceptional service when I needed to relocate. The movers were friendly, respectful, and efficient. They worked quickly and carefully, ensuring nothing was damaged in the process. Their customer service was top-notch, and I appreciated how easy it was to schedule my move. Vlad and his team did a very professional job with the packing and loading for my move. They did not arrive as soon as I expected, but this was apparently due to miscommunication. I was very impressed with Vlad’s ability to manage his team and he packed my paintings and Piano carefully. I would use Vlad again, he did an excellent job and was very accommodating.

I called in to get an estimate to move long distance from NH to VA. Bruce was my sales person. He was good to work with. Very easy to worked with. Movers called head a time to let me know they are on the way. They are very efficient, very professional. They did amazing job wrapping my belongings. I am very impressed by their excellent job. Contacted the company several weeks before my move and the company was great contacting me to make sure everything was good to go. They showed up on time packed everything in my storage unit and quickly moved everything to my new house. We had 3 flights of stairs and the movers didn't charge me extra for it. I Highly recommended for your next move!

So far it has been disastrous from the beginning. The time windows for pickup and delivery were not properly communicated. My pickup was delayed and fortunately I had my realtor available to be in the house in FL since I had to drive up to WV. Now I'm waiting for my furniture and was told that they have a 21 day window from my 1st day available. Sitting in an empty house and waiting for my stuff I received a call today that my furniture will arrive Wednesday or Thursday while I have to be at work. I was also told if I can't be there, I'll be charged extra for rescheduling my delivery. I'm disappointed about their time management and the lack of communication. I would not book them again.

They were very fast yet accurate! I worked with them for a local move from to Albany this past Monday. The moving team was seriously nice, reflective, and kind! They were all laugh and full of energy when they pulled up in the truck at 7 am! What I love about these guys is their honest pricing and sprint. There is a base price and an hourly rate at a two-hour minimum. This acknowledge me to precisely estimate how much my 1BD move would be priced at based on my amount of goods and my moving length.

Significant availability and very quick to react via email. Truthful and effortless with rates too. Moving day was very smooth, the team came on time and super nice. Crew were really went above and beyond -- mainly when dragging an enormous couch up 4 flights of stairs. Primarily it looked like it was not going to fit up the stairwell and I did have to merchandise my couch, but they carry on and somehow found a way to make it occur! Unbelievable work, and they saved me the inconvenience and cost of selling/buying one more couch. Big appreciation to these guys.

This is not a moving company. They subcontract you out to a company. The company they gave our property to were terrible. The price was higher than quoted, boxes crushed in the truck and boxes missing. Don’t use them!!!

I can not consider honest I did not give in my review! We utilized the them last month. We are moving again and I undeniably have not considered using any other else. They were quick and handled with care. They were pleasant and careful and I saw a team that operate well together. Moving 4 adult sized people who have lived in a place for years to the other side of contra costa is not going to be economical, but the prices were coherent and even beat some of the other places that I knew would not have taken such good care of our goods.

When they got there they started telling me it was by cubicle square feet. So the price tripled!!!! I was in a bind and had to be out. I was crying. The one thing I find hard to believe is that none of the movers seem to take my estimate seriously. Based on my last move. I get reactions rapidly and completely. I chose them based on a combination of availability, cost and distance from their location to the move site. They were very meticulous about everything and I found them to be very accurate. The one thing that was hard for me to estimate was the number of hours required for the total move. In the end it did not matter because they moved me in less than two hours. Their minimum charge was for three hours. I viewed them to be professional and honest. I would highly recommended.

We used Amerisafe for a recent move from NY to NM. We were quoted 4k by Yaniv ** and after they loaded all of our belongings they gave us a $7k bill. Not only that, but they refused to take the items out of the truck and pressured my girlfriend, who was by herself, to sign off on the quote. When I expressed my frustrations they simply told me that "we can take it to court if that's the road you want to take". DO NOT use this company or the Sleepless Movers they sold the job to. I can not explain my anger and frustration enough and I have contacted attorneys to represent my case. Please save yourself the heartache and disappointment.

Dealing with AMERI-SAFE has been one of the worst experiences if my life. They haven't even started packing and my STRESS LEVELS IS A 20 OUT OF 10. I wish I could give a negative rating. The customer service team is disorganized, rude, and dismissive. DO NOT HIRE THEM. They lie during the sales process & once they get your money they treat you like trash.

Hired AmeriSafe 12/5/2024. They never divulged that they were outsourcing the move Told me I was in good hands as the person I spoke to had 12 years in the business. He told me not to buy extra insurance as I was adequately covered. Told me cushions and pillows could go in heavy garbage bags, but when movers showed up, they said no and charged me 3 times the price of boxes. 90% of the move was boxes and a few furniture pieces that they wrapped in moving blankets. Their estimate was for boxes 16x12x12 and mine were 9x12x12, so I felt we were over-estimating. The actual would take place at pick up. MY FEE WENT UP FROM $2975. to the actual of $7656.12!! Since this is the day of pickup you are stuck. My items were transferred to at least two different movers. It was taking longer than promised verbally and I called the dispatcher who said he couldn’t find me in his system. I felt my items were lost and I’d never get them.

AmeriSafe Moving Company is NOT your mover. They are a middleman and connect you to a mover. I went to North Carolina in October 2024 to pack my elderly mother and move her to Arizona. The movers seemed great. Looked like they packed everything up good and were very polite. There were a LOT of added on fees we didn't expect and the size of our shipment was over what was expected so that cost us a lot as well. I can accept all that due to my lack of reading every word of very fine print in the emailed contract. What I can't accept is the fact that it took over a month for them to get her stuff to Arizona and not only that but they butchered her stuff. Most of her furniture was damaged. Boxes clearly repacked and valuable items missing. Old family heirloom antiques just gone. Irreplaceable.

Cesar and his team arrived perfectly on time and were very helpful and kind to our family. They took care of every single item and made sure everything was packed up for us, and even locked up our home for us so we could get going on our trip to our new house. I booked a move from Cincinnati to Milwauke. Profesional quote of $2400 for.one bedroom apartment. 2nd tier company shows up with Penske truck starts charging me for small truck, length of walk, I have 1500 sf of stuff. My apartment not the big. Nobody at AmeriSafe helps to negotiate on my behalf. Showed up in Milwaukee 1 week later with no notice after repeated attempts to Amerisafe. Furniture damaged. Boxes damaged. $4600 dollars taken hostage and refuted by this dishonest company. Fill out paperwork for damages. 2nd tier mover out of business. Get $200 dollars with damages exceeding $1000. Stay away and don't trust their fake reviews. Most unprofessional and dishonest company!!!

I am writing this review based on my experience with Amerisafe brokerage. Mark **, a representative for Amerisafe, a moving broker highly recommended Seventh Generation moving company. I was given a quote by Mark ** of $31,788.46 of which they required a deposit of $13,785.00. No one came out to survey my household, it was all done verbally and a questionnaire to fill out about what was in each room. I was very uncomfortable with this and I told Mark ** this more than once and he reassured me that this is how it is done and not to worry that he would be sending a large truck and Seventh Generation would take good care of my move. He was quite the salesman.

John **. John was extremely helpful, extremely fast and professional. He was supposed to have help show up and no one showed for the pick up to help him.. but that did not stop him doing everything by himself. He did receive help on drop off, only one other person.. Also John traveled through a snow storm to make it to the drop off on time.. John was by far an amazing person to have move me and my family. Usually when I was in the military it was a team of 5 people to move me and my family.. With John he did everything by himself. He deserves a promotion and a raise. Date of experience: February 02.

I researched moving companies for a move from Massachusetts to New Jersey. Amerisafe came up as a good choice. Upon speaking with Bruce I was quoted $6,000. He used photos from the sale of our home to help with pricing. The only items he could not see was what was in our attic. I do feel he seriously underestimated the number of boxes we would need to pack up the house. After packing up everything I did a box count and it ended up being double what he estimated. So the cost also doubled.

I booked a move from CO to OK thinking that I was using a reputable company. Once the broker gets your deposit ($1200 on an $2650 move) and gets your signature on what appears to be a fair, detailed, and professional estimate… they are no longer involved in your move. After that, all bets are off and your nightmare begins!!! Your move is passed off to a logistics company. Every aspect of your move falls apart, from the date of pickup, to additional costs, to the date of delivery!!

I had a terrible experience with Amerisafe Moving Company, and I feel compelled to warn others. They misrepresented themselves during the sales process, making it seem like they were the moving company when, in fact, they are just brokers. They outsourced my move to a fraudulent, unprofessional third-party company, leading to a nightmare from start to finish.

I am moving from NYC to Oregon after living in the city for 40 years. Communication with the salesperson was good also Bruce was very nice. Movers came on time, great Communication, super professional and courteous. They took very good care of my belongings and I have so much trust with them. They are amazing and will recommend them to everyone!!

I spoke with Andrew regarding a quote to move from Virginia to Atlanta. He beat a competitor's price in order to get me moved within the timeframe requested. On the day of the move the movers were late and refused to complete the job because Andrew wrote information in the contract that was absolutely not true. He tailored the quote to fit the cost to beat their competitors. The movers walked around and spoke in a different language to others on the phone while doing very little work. Then they quoted me 3 times the amount in order to complete the job. I requested that they cancel which was within the 72 hour window because this was not a company that I would entrust my belongings with and the movers refuse to complete the job.

Booked with Amerisafe, signed a great contract then right before our move we had to increase how much stuff we had and got a new quote with contract for 2.5x's as much a originally quoted for. The guy said "It would only be that much if you take up the whole 2nd truck and you won't, you will only get charged for what you use". Turns out Amerisafe contracts with another company to do the moving and they said we have to pay the full amount. Book with someone else to not get scammed.

Date: July 2024. Move: FL to NJ. I cannot emphasize this enough… Do NOT use AmeriSafe Moving company for your long distance move. The company is run by in-compassionate, incompetent, borderline criminals who do not care about you, your valuables, or your situation. They only want your money and once the contract is signed good luck getting in touch with anyone who cares to help you or be held accountable for any issues along the way. They are actually third-party brokers, but this isn't clear until the move-out date when you will discover a different moving company is actually in charge of the pickup and drop off.

The person who helped me over the phone was very professional and personable. He helped guide me through the process and answer tried all my questions. When the day came the movers were very prompt and courteous helping us navigate through the process. They were very upfront about pricing. Highly recommend AmeriSafe moving services!!

Upon delivery from NY to CA, we found items missing, rifled thru, torn boxes. They were in possession of our items and now close to 5k of missing electronics were stolen. Police report done and investigation in progress. The owner said to just file an insurance claim. They don't care about you or your belongings. We are a military family and this is unacceptable business practice. Lawsuit option being researched.

Movers showed right on time, they made the truck to fit on a very small st in NY. I can’t believe how strong are those guys and quickly cleaned up the house. First time moving after 10 years and I called AmeriSafe moving services to get quote. Emmet was my sale person and he was good to work with. It was little issue with the delivery date that was promised but the movers helping me and I will get it quick, they gave a trailer they will load right away. A month ago we hired Amerisafe and after quoting a price stated the only payment option was to break it down into three. We paid the first payment on booking and the second when they arrived to pick up our stuff and were supposed to then take the final payment when the drivers were on their way.

This company and its employee's are complete frauds. They said they were the actual mover not a broker. WRONG, THEY LIED TO US, THEY ARE ONLY A BROKER NOT A MOVING COMPANY. WHEN THE ACTUAL MOVER ARRIVED, THE PRICE FOR THE MOVE WENT FROM $9,350.00 TO $14,000.00. They said the personal property would be taken directly from the home to our new home and it would not be off loaded into a warehouse then onto a larger truck. THEY LIED AGAIN, THE ACTUAL MOVER SAID THE ONLY WAY THEY MAKE A LONG DISTANCE MOVE IS TO TRANSFER THE ITEMS TO ANOTHER LARGER TRUCK.

Movers called 30 minutes prior to arrival, they came right on time. They went above and beyond helping me. They wrapped everything super well. They are professional, efficient and friendly. Also customer service was very great to work with. Absolutely will recommend AmeriSafe Moving Services to everyone looking for a great move!!

Beware! Not a moving company! These are brokers so they take their cut then send criminals to your house and won’t take your calls. Andrew promised me my stuff to arrive in 3 days. Movers show up 6 hours early then once they leave say my stuff will go truck to truck for weeks and maybe will make it to my house. But if I pay over $5000 cash which is extortion it will be at my house as promised. Amerisafe wouldn’t even pick up the phone as I’m sure they saw my phone number and don’t care because they already have your money. And now you are left to try to negotiate with criminal who have all of your belongings on a truck going to no where. Total scam. They should be arrested. Find a moving company and book directly. Don’t go through this nightmare.

Bilal and Jay just loaded up my apartment to move to Colorado. Both gentlemen were friendly and helpful. Packed and loaded my belongings quickly and with care. They have really helped me out. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who has things to move. They definitely reduced my stress. Thank you.

This company is great. The movers were courteous, kind. Took great care of our furniture as if it was their own. Wrapped, taped and loaded. They have an awesome team. They work very well together and I would recommend this company for any move. Long move or a short move. They were awesome.

I do not recommend AmeriSafe at all. We received their estimate and verified it twice with their QA department. When the mover came, the price he gave us was double the price of Amerisafe’s estimate. I can reasonably see the price being a little higher than their estimate, but double the price is ridiculous. When I called Amerisafe’s Customer Service Department to ask about this, they were very unpleasant. The original Salesman who did my estimate wouldn’t take my calls. This bait and switch is very disappointing. I would not recommend them.

BEWARE! This company is a hands-off broker. They will take their portion of the sale, mislead the customer into false expectations, and then route your calls to another company when you call to speak with anyone about issues that arise. I was quoted $4K for a 2 bedroom 850sq ft house move from CO to SC. On the day of the move after the truck was loaded, I was informed the new total was $11K. I was told the loading would take 4-6 hours, it took 10.5. I was offered 30% off the total of my move, I accepted the offer, and was then denied the discount.

One of the least stressful moves I have ever had; would absolutely recommend these guys. I hired them on a approximately short notice and was very attentive. I had some very fragile mirrors that they were able to protect and move without breaking. The price was also the most competitive of the offers I received.

They were so easy to deal with from start to end! I hired AmeriSafe for my recent move. They provided a COI quickly, and be in contact with me every step of the way. The guys who did the move were so nice & friendly! They took the time to show me any damaged spots on my furniture ahead of time, and packed everything with great care. They did my complete move in less than an hour door to door!! If I ever move again I did be sure to use them, and I highly recommend them to anyone.

June 23, 2024 8:45 am. Antonio from Seventh Generation tried to hold my furniture for ransom of an additional $1,000 though I’d already paid them over $5,169. Thank god for the North Lauderdale, Florida police department. At first I thought My Furniture was STOLEN. My delivery was missing. When they finally showed up they tried to charge me $1,000 for redelivery when they didn’t show up on Wednesday as their driver communicated at 8:39 a.m. I was connected with Seventh Generation through Amerisafe Moving. When they arrived May 30th, they had a kid name “Bryan” leading them with no maturity. (A police officer placed a parking ticket on his car, he turned to me and stated, “you’re going to pay for this since this is your move. I approached the police officer to explain they are there to move me out. The police officer approached Brian to ask how long he’ll be. Brian walked away from the officer)

We recently had the pleasure of working with Brandon ** at AmeriSafe. We needed to move 10-15 garment boxes from California to Nevada. I reached out to Amerisafe because the quotes we received from our local movers were very high (over $3,000 for boxes). Brandon's quote was about 50% less than the other quotes. We were hesitant to use a broker at first, but Brandon calmed our concerns. Our experience with Brandon was excellent: first, there was no adjustment to the price quoted. Second, Brandon was always available for our questions along the way, even on weekends. The pick up and delivery were handled exactly as agreed upon (delivery was up to 7 days after pick-up, which is what we agreed to and which occurred). And lastly, our items were delivered in perfect condition. Thank you Brandon.

Roman and his team were very conscientious. They took the time to carefully pack and protect our belongings, and address our specialty items. This is my 5th cross country move and so far the best experience with the least amount of stress. They even took the time to lessen the stress on our pets.

Received follow up call regarding partial refund and to rectify the situation. Situation had been rectified and customer satisfied. Good job fixing situation. Overall satisfied with outcome. Hoping for better exchange in the future.

Updated on 07/12/2025: AmeriSafe called recently and spoke with me about my experience. They informed me some changes had been made to improve their service experience. I was heard by the representative I spoke with. My concerns were addressed. The situation was corrected. I am confident that AmeriSafe is the right movers for me in the future.

After a Google search AmeriSafe Moving Services came out with great reviews and I called them right away to get a moving quote from NY to NC. Emmet was good in answering all my questions. Giovanny at customer service was great. He put me in ease about my move. He promised I was going to be happy and he was total right. Movers came early and I was very happy about that. They packed everything so well, they were amazing by the job they did. Super professional and friendly. Will definitely recommend AmeriSafe to everyone especially the movers. They were AMAZING!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We received a quote from them. They assigned us Vanguard Moving Services, who came a day early, double charged us from the original quote from Amerisafe, damaged our furniture, and charged us for things that weren't provided. No refunds from either company. Don't believe their quote. You have no recourse once you give them a deposit.

On the heels of a move just now with the crew from AmeriSafe Moving. They moved 2 studios into our 2 bed in about an hour. We are absolutely pleased by the speed, service, and how professional all the movers were. I have zero complaints and I was not able to find a cost that came close to their estimate. Phenomenal move, highly recommend this company.

Movers were great listener to all my concerns. The came right on time very professional and polite. The way they wrapped my furniture amazed me. These guys are the best way to go if you want your furniture moved properly. This guys go with them. Book them no question ask. I absolutely recommend this company to all my friends and family!!!

Well, I received a call from a representative name Andy and I am so glad that they called. I’m glad that this company has made some changes within the company and was very eager to resolve my issue. Do not use this company!! They are brokers and contract horrible moving companies that don't have big moving trucks! I got an oversized van pulling a haul....my original quote was $3000 and it ended up costing my almost $6000!!!!! True Movers was the contracted company and they scammed me by saying their trucks were too big to get into my parking lot for pick up and too big to get to my storage unit for drop off....my storage unit has a large gate no trees and a wide driveway so that was a joke about the big truck...I ended up with the same oversized van with haul!! they charged me $1600 in transfer fees saying they had to transfer my furniture from the van and dhal to a bigger truck and then back to the van and haul....I definitely have doubts on that.

My impromptu move was rescued by Roman my driver. Originally I was going to move myself in a rental truck. His patience with the customer and considerate care of my belongings were excellent.. They were able to accommodate me with short notice.. I am so pleased that I made that phone call. Thank you... Perfectly Fast Moving.

I called AmeriSafe Moving Services to get a quote to move from RI to FL and Kyle was my salesman. He was very good and helpful. Answered all questions. Movers came on time then check the storage unit. We had little packing and they were very helpful and kept my price the same, no hidden fee!! I highly recommend AmeriSafe Moving Services to all!!!

Updated on 07/12/2025: I wrote a review on AmeriSafe back when they were supposed to deliver all of our items in October 2024. We moved from Utah to Virginia. If I could give them a negative number I would. With that said, we were made to pay our remaining balance even before the consider unloading our belongings. We were given copies of all the items they removed from our home in Utah. When they delivered it to Virginia our TV"s, Computer screens, clothing and quite a few furniture pieces were missing. Not only that there where boxes that were crushed. I'm going to skip all of what I could say. I was told that I'd have to file claim by Taelor ** and Kyle **. After many emails and phone conversations nothing was ever fixed or done.

This is a broker company working with movers and they are extremely considerate and responsible and answer questions. Moving company as well was professional, responsible and sincere about wanting to protect property. Our property is going to storage and we are hopeful that it will come out of storage as well as it came out of our home. So far I would recommend AmeriSafe Moving Services to all!!

Guys came to pick up location on time, worked very fast, listened carefully to my instructions. The next day truck came to FL to unload, on time worked very efficiently, moved furniture around multiple times as I asked, very satisfied. Nothing was broken, excellent experience all the way around, would highly recommend, thank you.

One of the best experiences with movers I've had. They responded quickly when I reached out for a quote, and were very reasonably priced, Jimmy was awesome!! Veronica at customer service was very helpful. She helped me to understand the process and I felt very comfortable. Day of the movers arrived early and they were very fast and polite. I moved from the top floor of a three story walk-up apartment to a house. They had my items loaded in 2 hours, despite the multiple flights of stairs, and had them unloaded at my new place within 3 days. The team handled my items with care and nothing was broken during the move. You hear so much horrible stories how people get scammed and I was very nervous but I am super happy I chose AmeriSafe Moving Services. I will definitely recommend them to everyone looking for reputable company 10/10.

Love EMG. I have relocated with these movers multiple times now and they are exceptional. Always came on time, super well regulated. I first moved with them years ago when they were much smaller and the operation has grown but they have not lost their courage. Highly recommend movers!
