If you're looking for a company that's going to show up on time ready to roll Amerisafe will do. They were really nice to deal with and somehow managed to not put any holes in the walls (the company we used to move in trashed the stairwell so this was a huge relief). Highly Recommend.

I recently used Amerisafe Vanlines for my move and honestly had a really good experience. Moving can be stressful, but they made the whole process feel a lot easier. From the start, communication was clear and they answered all my questions pretty quickly, which I appreciated. On moving day, the team showed up on time and got straight to work. They handled my stuff with care and made sure everything was packed and loaded properly. Nothing was damaged, and everything arrived the way it left, which was a big relief. The movers were also friendly and respectful, which made the experience even better. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Amerisafe Vanlines if you’re looking for a smooth and reliable moving company.

Rushmore Van Lines did great job with logistics. We were unhappy with the estimates the company gave us prior to the actual team coming on site. The team here do a great job moving everything out quickly and efficiently. Would recommend this team to move out but not the initial estimators.

These guys are on point. Very thorough in loading our home goods. A lot of detail went into wrapping and covering our furniture. The smaller items were handled with care throughout the loading process. All fragile items were placed on top of the multiple boxes we had. I highly recommend these guys. They work hard and provide a great service.

I am so happy with AmeriSafe and all that they have provided for me and my family. This is the best company hands down and I will be continuing using them throughout the years. They are very safe and make sure customers gets what we deserve.

I must say that I had a great experience with Amerisafe van lines. The gentleman were both very respectful and professional with work ethic and appearance. These guys did not disappoint me one bit unlike other companies that workers show up smelling like cigarettes or catching them on the phone instead of working but Amerisafe van lines showed up on time and got the job done as required with no issues at all and also helped me fix my flat tire at the end of the job. I will use Amerisafe again and would highly be recommend to family and friends. Great job guys!

Not all transparent. Contracted our to imovers out NJ. When imovers showed up, they had up charges of over $1300. Even though my quoted move was smaller than our actual move. Not pleased at all. Amerisafe is not upfront or transparent about the actual workings of the company.

I had a really great experience moving with AmeriSafe Van Lines. Honestly, I expected it to be super stressful, but they made everything way easier than I thought it would be. The team showed up on time, were really chill and friendly, and handled all my stuff carefully. Nothing got damaged, which was a huge relief. The father and son who loaded my items from AmeriSafe Van Lines were very nice, seems to take pride in their work, and carefully loaded the moving truck. Then for the two following weeks (while I was calling daily asking for updates) they stayed on top of everything and kept me up to date so I was never out the loop. The gentleman who dropped my things off, a few after they were originally picked up. From the moment he opened the back of the truck I knew my things were in tip top shape. The truck was loaded nicely and everything thing that came out the truck was still in one piece. I would highly recommend using this moving company if your ever in the market to move!

I had them pick me up from Arkansas. Traveled me to New Jersey. I was fully happy and capable of understanding they what they were going to do. I had a wonderful experience with AmeriSafe. I was relocating for work. I moved up north here to Seattle. Needed to move me, my family, and my stepson. It was a lengthy process because this was being handled for work. But the signing process was easy. The gentleman who helped me was named Mike. He was very attentive. Even after the verification, the customer service has a few different policies for follow-up. Then there's quality assurance, and then I had to add some stuff for my stepson. They were very accommodating. They were also very attentive to what was miscellaneous, what needed to be in a box. Those were things that I wasn't even thinking about and that's what I appreciated. Price point is always a concern when moving. But it was good. Overall, it was a great experience, and they made it easy for me. I didn't experience any delay. That was my biggest fear. And they were able to accommodate that with an expedited fee.

The first time I went with Amerisafe, it was because the company was referred to us. For the second time, it was because we had a good experience with them and decided to use them again. We moved from South Carolina to Florida recently and everything was done via the phone. I called initially. Then, the quote was sent electronically via email. The initial quote was sent over when we gave an inventory of the items that we had. The person called ahead of time and said that they would be emailing me the information, that I would need to go online and sign it, and if there were any questions. Everything was pretty straightforward.

I was initially going to get a couple quotes, but after I spoke with AmeriSafe, I decided not to because I didn't want to make it more make it more confusing than it already was. They did a FaceTime with me for the inventory and used some listing pictures. Then they verbally went with what I told them. I didn't come like an expert in moving, but they told me everything I needed to know and I learned more as the move progressed. The crew was fast too. The pricing had a couple of minor changes, but that was more on me because I had a couple items that I had forgotten. Moving from one state to another is still stressful but AmeriSafe did a really good job, all things considered.

Arrived on time. Very friendly people. There was a miscommunication with the company and the people that showed up!! They said that the amount would be different because we have more stuff but I was very clear on how much stuff we have and what sizes and the type of items!! They tried to tell us the storage will be be more expensive than I was told!!! I hope it all goes well!! I’m paying a lot of money!!

The crew worked hard and seemed to protect my belongings with care. They acted professionally today although it took a long time to complete the packing. They followed my instructions and acted responsibly throughout. I am moving pretty far from here and am hopeful that my stuff will get to my destination safely.

I'm completely satisfied with Amerisafe Van Lines. The move was completed professionally without any problems. I was really concerned about my new flooring throughout the house but the crew went out of thier way to insure its protection. The guys were courteous and took care of our belongings to a high degree and all within the time frame promised. Seriously impressed! They were very professional when moving the dressers and couches without leaving a scratch on the furniture or on my walls in my new apartment. The movers carefully wrapped the furniture with blankets and shrink wrap to protect the furniture, that showed professionalism. I’m very happy with the service. I met Fiorella through our neighborhood, and from the start she stood out as everyone incredibly down to earth, inspired, and genuinely caring. I get a few quotes from multiple movers and ended up going with Fiorella's team as they had the best timeline response rate. They made the complete process feel easy and supportive, never pushy.

I did not move yet, however Mark was very informative and patient because I did not have a different moving date or an arrival address. I did offer a down payment reserve fee, Mark said to keep the money until about 2 weeks in advance notice of different moving day.

This company went above and beyond to make sure my move was stress-free! I recently had to move and I was calling around. All the other companies was giving me a hard time. Didn't have any openings. A friend of mine's told me about Amerisafe Van Lines and I called. They came out the next day, got to work quickly, very efficient. They were very careful with my belongings. All members of the staff was kind, respectful, caring. I recently hired AmeriSafe Van Lines to move my 3 bedroom house. I was a little hesitant because I usually use family and friends to do it which means the stress of wrapping everything and loading it on the truck so there's no damage fell on me. Not with these guys. I was able to sit out of the way and enjoy a beer. They wrapped and loaded everything professionally with no damage to the walls or house itself. They were professional, courteous, respectful. They turned down my offer of beers but I would DEFINITELY use them again. Thanks guys.

AmeriSafe is really trustworthy and professional, and for me, time is a selling point for me. I was searching on Google moves near me, moves in Florida, and AmeriSafe came up. They had really great reviews and good Consumer Affair reviews. I contacted AmeriSafe and I got my quote. The person I spoke to, we gathered a little sheet. I walked around my house, and I went from room to room, observing things, because, of course, you can't come up with everything off the top of your head and that’s how I got my estimate. The quote I got was really fair compared to other quotes that I received.

I moved in the military a few times, and AmeriSafe safe was great. They did a good job. We told them the list of items that we had. I went by room by room. They have a good back end, and their customer support is amazing. Also, the sales rep was good. AmeriSafe knows what they're doing. Give them a call.

The company who set up the move sucked but the movers were excellent. They delivered everything in a timely fashion. They picked everything up fast and dropped it off even faster. I set up the move 4 days in advance and it had to be postponed a day because they didn't get any movers in time.

Mr. ** and Mr. ** assisted me with my move today. They were on point with communication and scheduling my move to Palo Alto which made things a lot easier on the preparing side for me. Every matter that we discussed about was all true, no surprise charges, the guys were sincere, quick and they made this experience much easier on my wife and me.

Moved two bedrooms apartment. They did a great job moving everything out with no damage. Had everything thing in about three hours. Happy happy happy happy out. These people are brokers whose estimates don't even come close to the actual costs. The shady movers that the contract with are horrible. They're currently holding my things for ransom if I don't come up with $5,900 CASH to complete the move, and are threatening to auction off my things if I don't pay. To redeliver they want 10K after I've already paid almost $8,000 upon pickup. I'm 70 years old, disabled, and I live on a fixed income.

I have moved a dozen times and Amerisafe was so far below all of the other companies that I have used. Their customer service is awful. They provided me a quote and then raised the price 3 times! Including trying to extort even more $$ from me on the day of delivery. They provide only a 14 window for delivery. When I called a few days before the "window" and asked if I could be provided a shorter time period because there had been a huge ice storm in Nashville and I had no electricity in my home the customer service manager told me that "I should get my personal life in order." From beginning to end they lied, didn't return phone calls or emails and were downright rude. The actual movers who packed and moved my stuff were VERY nice. They don't get paid enough I'm sure because Amerisafe skims off the top but does little.

AmeriSafe's staff earned my trust. They seemed very knowledgeable and thorough with the estimations and all the information they were giving me about what to expect with a long-distance move. The move was about 1,300 miles from Fairview, Pennsylvania to West Palm Beach, Florida. When I called their number, I was immediately in touch with one of their moving coordinators, Leo. I told him I hadn't really done any long-distance moves before. I just had local moves around my hometown and areas in Pennsylvania. So, he helped educate me on things that were important and he was very thorough.

The "actual" company, Prime Relocation, fhat moved and packed us, I only have one complaint, they didn't label any boxes! However, Amerisafe employs rude, lying people. Except for Mike in QA, everyone I spoke with, Darren (who I found out after discovering how badly he screwed our quote up is no longer there), Kim, liars! We wound up paying $5,000 more than originally quoted, it took 2 days, not one as EVERYONE PROMISED it would take. It was a horrible experience, and I have moved more than 20 times in my life, now as a senior citizen I trusted the recommended company for "seniors", I wouldn't recommend Amerisafe to my worst enemy!

I helped my daughter secure this moving service for a move from NC to NY. Do NOT recommend. The sales guy Brian was nice and seemed credible however, we found the service to be unreliable. Brian promised that the goods would be delivered a few days after pickup since it was less than 500 miles and "they were in that area all the time" (her moving load was very small and only a partial load). Well... Goods were delivered 17 days after pickup and that was after many calls to the customer service dept and broken promises of delivery. In addition- the day before the delivery they attempted to extract even more money for "shuttle services" since they couldn't park a semi on the street. I refused as the location was all explained upfront. Be aware - Amerisafe is ONLY a BROKER - they farm out the move and leave you wondering if you will ever get your goods. DO NOT USE.

We had contracted Amerisafe to move our belongings and store them while we prepare to put our house on the market. We spoke to Mr ** who told us that they would be here Monday March 9, 2026 to move belongings. On the 9th at 1030am we called them to inquire when the movers would arrive, at this time we were told the move would be March 10, 2026. We called March 8th and left a message to call back to the confirm the date moving date and never received a call back. On Monday called and talk to Ms **, who was extremely rude and unhelpful She refused to let us talk to Giovanni even though he was heard in the background. Ms ** admitted he was in the room and refused to let us speak to him. At this time we have filed a claim for breach of contract.

My friend Ritachie gain a job transfer so he begin looking out for movers who can give a quote within my company strategy limits. I asked almost ten plus companies but no one gave me the required quote. Bruice from AmeriSafe is really nice and professional person who acknowledge the difficulty in shifting process and he made sure my relocation happened smoothly.

DO NOT EVER use AmeriSafe Moving and Storage, or Ocean Moving and Storage. My salesman at the broker, AmeriSafe, Mark Edwards, was very pleasant and persuasive. He convinced me that AmeriSafe would be the best option for my move from Florida to Colorado, but the experience turned out to be a nightmare.

Got quoted one price on the first call in the low 2000s. Called them back to change address and let them know I’m not taking off of my things (bed, washer/dryer, treadmill). Still 2000$ something. Ok. The movers came and added another 900$. Very unprofessional. Honestly felt like a scam. I wasn’t able to reject it since that was the last day I could move my things to a different city. Also the deposit can be done online but the final payment is either cash or Zelle. Felt sketchy. They don’t provide with boxes and none of this was communicated. Find a different movers or do it yourself!

The movers arrived today on time and ready to go! They were extremely careful with all my boxes and furniture. Always courteous and professional and above all, smart. This was not an easy move and I was very relieved that this particular team was working on this!

Flawless moving me in and out of my two bedroom apartments along with storage units. Both of these moves were with Ekstrom and Bengtssone that were respectful, hardworking and warm heroes. Also they even stored my car for me, helping me disconnect the battery and covered it with protective towels. Extremely helpful on timing.

I noticed and the reviews develop a confident in me to use AmeriSafe and give them a call to try. Everything went smoothly with the packing, loading and unpacking. Gillian and other crew were efficient and very hardworking movers. We had a 80" LED TV and were worried about moving that and they taped it up and had it out like the pros they were.

Dimitri and his team were excellent. They packaged everything very well and explained what they would do through the move. They did great! I was not sure what to expect and they exceeded all expectations. Would work with them again. Moving was a scary thought but they made me feel like they had everything under control and do a great job.

We had a 210 lbs. marble slab coffee table top to move from the garage three flights up in the Phoenix, AZ apartment. Aaron and Don came on time and got done earlier than scheduled. Alex, with Rushmore moving company was in charge of this move from San Antonio to Maryland. The workers Joe and Jose were quick, fast, professional, and very careful with all of our belongings as they loaded the truck. I hired AmeriSafe Moving to help us to move my friend's furniture from my office to a storage unit. Stanley and other movers were very considered and super coherent in helping us last-minute pack various items and move all my thing. Crew were easy to communicate leading up to and during the moving process, and were very cooperative when I ran into some hiccups with preparing the office. Surely plan to use them for any individual moves in the future.

Awesome moving experience for my move from Fort Walton Beach, FL to Fresno, CA apartment. I think I checked every review online for all the moving services. Aggravated, I asked at work if anyone had someone to suggest and a friend straight away suggested Walton and Robert. I took his word and called these guys from AmeriSafe and every interaction from the start was courteous, professional and encouraged.

We recently completed a move from Hawaii to Florida and had a great experience. We were moving a full three-bedroom house, and everything was packed and wrapped very professionally. The movers were careful, organized, and clearly knew what they were doing. The shipment arrived in about six weeks, right within the timeframe we were given, and everything arrived in good condition. All furniture was reassembled upon delivery, which made the move-in so much easier. We went with AmeriSafe as the broker, and overall we were very happy with our movers and the entire process.

Dimitri and his team are the movers that came to our house. Dimitri‘s explanation of the costs were very clear and he was very honest. Dimitri and his team were very professional. I saw them take great care in moving my things. They went out of their way to be helpful and considerate. I am very pleased with Dimitri and his team. If I had to recommend movers to anyone, I would recommend Dimitri and his team. They were very fair and they were very good to me and my partner.

Although my experience with the brokered moving company completely failed, AmeriSafe ultimately was helpful in resolving issues and kindly reached out with compensation for the failures.

Dmitrii and Yuri were tremendous - very methodical, professional, and communicative. They did not break anything, were fast, and clean as well. We had to move from South Amboy to Atlantic Highlands, a 1 bedroom with a big apartment complex to a private home with 3 floors. I would recommend their team to anyone. They were also nice to speak with and did not complain about any of the heavy lifting.

The guys, Ivan, Roman and Kiriel were amazingly helpful, went above and beyond and made the last minute not being ready, stressless and easy. They were fast, wrapped everything for safe travels. I just want to say that Phillippi & Emil are the pleasant, coolest, down to earth persons!! They came on time, they were attentive in trying not to bang up my walls in our home. AmeriSafe are also fair with their moving service rates!! They literally do not try to milk the clock to make more money moreover. They grasped a lot of the stress out of the move and literally made it fun.

The movers showed up in the specific time frame, even though I had just gotten a call from Amerisafe saying they wouldn’t make until the following morning. They are subcontractors with Encore. They did an excellent job and were very professional and got my stuff loaded and headed to Greenup Il to be delivered first stop the following day. They were friendly and personable, very nice young men. This is the first time I’ve ever used a mover. I’ll say I’m definitely pleased with the service.

Arsen and Jason did a terrific job loading the furniture. They notified us 2 hours prior to arriving. They were very professional and on time. Overall experience with Rushmore Van Lines was very positive and no problems were encountered while doing the pickup of furniture. If you need to move use them.

Jamie and Wise were especially careful, efficient, and expert throughout the day, and we really respect their hard work! We latterly used AmeriSafe for our move, and in general had a positive experience. There was a small issue with a few minor goods getting damaged, but moving is every time a complex process and we understand accidents can take place. Overall, the team worked hard to finished our move proficiently.

Dustin and Godwin tried their best efforts to be as quick and careful as possible while also being cautious in each act of moving process. AmeriSafe movers had to move a washer and dryer from a small narrow space and did it very efficiently. They were indeed careful not to wake our little new born baby that was napping while they were relocating our household items.

After many headaches dealing with other moving companies trying to set up a move from Ventura to New York, AmeriSafe was a total lifesaver for me. Rocio was responsive to my queries via phone and were very accommodating regarding my destination building's COI necessities. On the day of the move they even arrived slightly early, completed loading earlier than expected and finished unloading at the required hours earlier than I had awaited.

Good experience with this company. The movers were amazing on both ends. They were very kind and very nice and cared a lot about us and our things. On the other hand the customer service Representatives could use a lesson and politeness and treat a consumer the way they should be treated. All in all we have our things and we are happy and Charlie is a really great mover driver. Job number a okay **.

Can not smash the YES key hard adequate when asked if I suggest these guys. I am moving house once more time and this is my fifth time using AmeriSafe. Moving sucks. But these movers including Arman and Lukes make it much more bearable and I feel like they are reasonable priced as well. They are friendly and very fast and efficient guys.

Awesome communication and attempt with all movers. John and Temesgen were strong, hardworking, trustworthy and dependable. These crew also assisted me to disassemble and gather furniture, making this move a lot smoother. They were very observant and particular oriented, came with all the moving resources, including plastic, blanket, red carpet, hand trucks.

Gregory and Nicio helped me out today in the morning with a really wonderful move! Movers from AmeriSafe were really cautious with all my items including plants and packed everything really well in a professional way. These guys were also careful while removing things out of my old place and into the new place. Super nice and friendly and nice to work with.

AmeriSafe movers included Susan loaded an ever supplementing list of goods onto the truck and moved to Plant City, FL without any single complaint and without any thing broken. These guys were just lovely movers. My only objection is that they, like most other companies evidently, add an hour on at the end for the return trip. It would be best to have been mentioned that upfront.

I am moving to Arizona, before the moving date they communicate clearly and friendly, and on the moving date Konstantin and his team arrived on time and they were super prepared with all the equipment. I made a reservation with AmeriSafe Moving via phone call a two weeks ago. I am impressed to see that they send us text verification plus notification about the details of the move from Miami, FL to Santa Clara, CA. My move required two loading places and Susan and his team have to pick up stuff from two different apartments before unloading it at my new place.

Don't use this outfit, don't give them a deposit either, they told me I could get my deposit of $2592 back if I cancelled, so 2 days later I got a better offer and I cancelled with in there so called window, they ripped me off for $2592, I don't care what you have to do don't use these people to move anything!!

Had to move my mother in a hurry. Booked the move through Amerisafe movers. There was apparently a great deal of confusion with what Amerisafe people. I stated that we were moving a bed. With an adjustable base. And Amerisafe stated they would include a stop to pick up a mattress. The moving company worked with me to accommodate the needs and resolved everything satisfactory. Ray was very helpful.

I would not recommend Amerisafe for multiple reasons. First, as you are aware, they hire out. So when they say to you the price is $** and that "everything is included", what they fail to explain is that this is "their price" not additional fees from the moving company they hire out for you. Example, we paid over $2000 for 300 cubic feet of storage. Great. The movers came however, because I'm on the second floor, they were going to charge me an additional $100 for every time they had to carry anything of any weight down anything exceeding 7 steps.

It was very important to me to find a moving company that had heart and cared about my possessions like they were their own. Hiring Amerisafe Moving met and exceeded all of my expectations. From the packing to the move itself, I had peace of mind knowing that I had hired the very best!!! You will never be sorry with Amerisafe Moving Services.

Guys did an excellent job moving us from Lewisville Tx to Maricopa Az. I would definitely recommend my movers to move anyone rather local or long distance. They unpacked all my belongings and placed them where we needed them to be placed.

They should get negative reviews. So many things promised but delivered on none. Bait & switch. I changed my destination and ended up with a 59 mile local move that cost over $11k. I paid Amerisafe $6500 just to hire a "local mover" who didn't even have their own trucks. And they tried to rip me off claiming I only paid them $4800 because they had no record of my 2nd payment of $1700. (They told me that was their fee to organize the move) And I paid for packing (I packed up 75% of my belongings) The professional moving company they hired appeared to be a company who just hired guys and just rented some old moving vans. I was told they hired only professional companies who would number and inventory all my boxes with electronic scanners. I got a scribbled inventory sheet only after I requested it.

I have moved from house to house 8 times in my life. I have had just special furniture moved locally from one place to another using multiple movers. BEWARE! We had a very serious and distressing experience with this move. Our interstate shipment was significantly delayed well beyond what we were originally told. During that time, communication was inconsistent and delivery timelines kept changing without clear explanations. Price started at $5k then jumped to $11k after we paid the deposit.

Never use this company ever. They lied about initial quote and then subcontracted to another moving/broker moving company. I even did a detailed video with them and they assured me that the quote was accurate. I also contracted with them to move 2 cars as well. The car movers never showed up and 4 days I was informed that they had never used the car company previously. When I wanted to cancel with them the agent got aggressive and rude. I questioned if the quote to move the furniture was accurate. I spoke with tbe owner and he said I was under quoted and it would cost thousands more.

Vincent, Sandy and Nathaniel has helped me many times as I have moved my way around this area. They all comes ready and pick up each of my belongings with extra care as if belongings were their own. It is shocking how much they can fit in their van.

The “accurate” quote was $4000. The final bill was $10000. The service was terrible. No one would call me back about any of my concerns. They had pictures of everything they were moving, including drawers, cabinets & videos of the entire apartment. I even packed all the fragiles, clothes & kitchen. Be very careful with Amerisafe. FYI They are brokers who receive a fee for hiring other moving companies

Updated on 12/25/2025: To add insult to injury. Amerisafe called me on Christmas Eve to propose that if I changed my negative review of them, they would offer me a $500 credit. Really? Why would I want a credit from a company that stiffed me on a move that they did not complete and kept half of my money? Please I beg of you, do not do business with Amerisafe, they are not worth it!!

I thank the complete team as a helping hand and help provided to my folks during the relocation of our house. We had two full trucks. Alonso, Leo, Gilbert and Gerson were awesome. They did a best job with packing and then loading and unloading of my household goods.

Used Amerisafe/East West Moving Inc for a 1bd move from CT to TX. Overall it’s been super stressful dealing between the two, whether it’s ambiguous info or just horrible customer service. At then end spent 2x the original quote. Too late to cancel as the second quote was a few days before my move out date. Movers showed up 2 weeks later at 8:30 p.m. Did not take any trash and was annoyed when I asked them to put together things they took apart in the initial pack up. Do not EVER USE THEM!!

Liam and Mason are sent by AmeriSafe to help us with our recent move, and they were terribly efficient and very thoughtful about furniture positioning. The move was nimble and everything ended up where it was supposed to be. Also you in truth cannot beat the value.

Amerisafe has tried to assist with my losses.

I'm an elderly man and my wife is disabled. AmeriSafe Moving Services took advantage of us along with USA Van Lines. Overcharged us to the tune of about $5,000. It cost us $10,000 to move from Florida to Pennsylvania, and was not aware of the extra $5,000 for USA Van lines until day of move. Then they wanted half of it in cash. At that moment we realized we had to leave all of our furniture behind but the price never changed. They wouldn't take cards or checks. 7 days after the move I called only to find out our stuff was in the warehouse in Florida somewhere still. We didn't get our stuff for about 15 days.

I must say that the service I received by AmeriSafe were excellent. From start to finish all went well. Moving is so stressful but they made progress easy. They called me 48 hours before and met me know they will be picking up. Price didn’t change and this was I worried about so I am very happy I chose them. Highly recommend them to all!!!

I booked Amerisafe in December 2025 for a June 2026 move. I live on SS and I put half down. It turns out I am not going to be able to move and I called the rep that told me even if it was outside the 48 hour window and I had a sufficient reason they would give me my money back. I called today to cancel and they will not refund my money. Only 20%. I spoke to the person that said they would refund and he said, "well I don't have that authority". So I feel like they took advantage of a Senior Citizen. I think it's unconscionable.

Let me start out by saying when I called Amerisafe, I was quoted $2,500 for moving the items I walked around in my garage (from NY to AZ). The salesman said it was my lucky day, he had a truck going to AZ on the Sunday they were scheduled to pick up my belongings. I counted the totes, 2 kayaks, pressure sprayer, a couple monitors, etc.... I gave my deposit in good faith. I left for AZ the day before they were arriving to pick up my belongings. I asked my NY neighbor to open the garage before the movers got there.

My experience with AmeriSafe Moving was truly awful. They originally quoted me one price, only to charge me over $10,000 more once my belongings were already in their possession. To make matters worse, they ended up using movers hired through Facebook Marketplace — something I never agreed to and would never expect from a professional company. Many of my items arrived broken or went missing entirely, and the settlement they offered for the damage was insultingly small. I’m now out thousands of dollars. This entire experience has been a nightmare, and I absolutely cannot recommend AmeriSafe Moving. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I was looking for a long distance mover and Leo decided to call me three times in a row, even after being sent to VM. We then had the following text exchange, screenshots attached, where Leo was very rude and unprofessional. While this was happening, I was also receiving calls from Ashley back to back from the same company. I realize I put out a request for information but that doesn’t mean a company should harass me, and act unprofessionally when I ask them to stop.

The moving men did a good job loading and packing. Also Kimberly ** was very very helpful any time we had questions or needed help. She is an asset to your office staff. We are getting our delivery of furniture November 22 2025. We hope that the men on delivery are as good as pick up.

Pack out of household goods to move to another state. All packers were very friendly and responded very well as items were added. We are very happy with the packing and wrapping of all the furniture and breakable items. Happy, happy, joy, joy. Tired of typing. Please fix this so customers can write a review and not a novel!

Went well despite being on a holiday. They were able to be flexible. We were late and they were patient with us. Hard job and they did great. Very respectful to us. We needed a second truck so it cost us more. But nice to have 4 people. First ever interstate move.

Terrible, pricing is inaccurate, cost is extremely higher than initial and updated cost. Delivery people were careless and Did not unwrap furniture and place in designated places. One item was mysteriously located after the truck left with a local person who helped with delivery. A claim was filed, motorized as retired but we have never received the return. DO NOT use this untrustworthy company. Very Dissatisfied, horrible experience!

Let me begin by saying that this was the second time in four years that we moved across the country. We used PODs last time, hired helpers to pack, load, and unload, and the only casualty was a wonky mattress after being stored in the container for six months. Due to moving into an apartment complex whose garage couldn’t accommodate a PODs container, we pivoted to Amerisafe, supposedly a highly rated company according to Consumer Affairs. First, there was the hard sell by the dispatcher who claimed that “people are leaving CA in droves” and said that I didn’t have time to get quotes. After I agreed to use them, he was cordial and usually responded to emailed inquiries.

Contract was not honored. They are scammers and hold you (and your “stuff” hostage with more weight(?). Would not unpack From the beginning to the delivery - contact with company was either unsuccessful. Each part of the move was not honored that I paid for. Do not use this company.
