It has been a nightmare dealing with this company. They not just arrived two hours late, but damaged 4 furniture items. They scratched our floor setting the dresser down and sliding it. Have been trying to get some compensation with the owner and manager but there has been no budging on their side. The movers didn't know what they were doing. Only one mover had a clue and the other two seemed as it was their first day. Definitely be wary hiring these guys.

Do not use Great Job Movers, especially if moving out of the DMV area. We book them in early May for a pick-up date of June 29th, plenty of time in advance. They came and picked everything up with relatively little problems. BUT they kept our things in storage for the past 16 days rather than get on the road, saying there have been numerous problems "out of their control" that came up. At first, they told us they were in the process of booking a driver for our move. Then it was that the truck assigned to our move broke down. Now, they have to wait until the "Operations Team," gets back to them with updates before we know when our things will finally be on the road. They claim they cannot even call their operations team, as they only communicate via email, and that customers are especially unable to communicate with the operations team directly.

All the heavy lifting was done with good form. No dragging, no awkward lifting. Furniture stayed intact. The team used straps and pads well. Clearly knew what they were doing. I was impressed by how smooth it all went. It felt safe and steady.

I was moving out of state for my first big job, and the movers treated everything with extra care. My desk setup and monitor stand were padded and loaded with caution. Great Job Moving's price was a little better than other moving companies. I moved out of a townhouse. Everything was ready to go, and the distance of the move was about 8 to 10 miles. The moving crew just had to move boxes and furniture. I had everything packed up and the stuff that I had packed up. They wanted to wrap certain things, which were already wrapped up. All the packing was done. All they had to do was come in and move it out.

I like that Great Job Moving is local. They had availability and the price that they quoted me was in the ballpark of what I was looking for. I went from an apartment on a third floor walk-up to a three-story townhome less than two miles away and I explained that when I contacted the people. I moved in December and the beginning part of the move was very cold. They were on time. The door was left open the entire time. But they were moving so much that they didn't get cold. They were up and down those stairs and hauling heavy stuff. I have heavy furniture but nothing got broken.

I like Great Job Moving and Storage a lot. I've had to move my son who has special needs from my house to a group home, move my mom's stuff out of memory care and move my son twice again. They were short moves and they often had a couple of stops that they needed to accommodate and a little bit of complications, but they always did a good job. I also had to change the date once and there was no problem. I felt good about working with them. They have a three-hour minimum. One time, there was still an hour left, so I asked the guys to move furniture around in my own house from one floor to another and out to my office in the backyard. They were super nice about it and did the whole three hours. They were very efficient and careful with the furniture. They wrapped everything carefully with plastic wrap. They knew how to deal with a rocker recliner.

The prices were a little better than some competitors, but all in all, it ended up being just as expensive, if not a little bit more expensive. We weren't happy with the service and I would not go with them again.

I've used Great Job Moving on a couple of occasions. With the most recent one, everything was fine. I was moving some items from a couple of locations down to a new home I bought. I will use them again when the time comes and I would tell others to use them based on my experience.

This was my second time using Great Job Moving and Storage and I had a positive experience with them the first time. I went with someone else because Great Job Moving and Storage said they couldn't do it. That was a horrible experience that I called them back. When they heard about my bad experience, they made their way and made it work for me because they were upset as I was with the other company. So, I enjoyed.

I had a very compacted time frame and I went with Great Job Moving because of the time frame of their ability to get me moved. We did a walkthrough and we itemized most of my larger items and gave a general description of what was in each room. On moving day, they showed up right on time. I walked them through my then current place and I explained to them where I want everything to go in my new house and what stuff I was a little worried about, maybe breakable or something like that. They took that all into consideration and went to work. The productivity was great and they were going pretty quick the whole time. They were really efficient with their time.

On moving day, they got there on time and immediately started. I tried to have as much prepared as I could when they got there so they wouldn't have to be waiting around and it went pretty fair. They got everything on the truck and only made one trip. They did a good job, although there was one issue with a little cabinet I had. One gentleman said that he was afraid that if we didn't tape that cabinet down or do something, the top drawer may come apart. But I told him to not worry about it. Then, they got here to my new place and my sister and her husband were here to direct them as to where to put things. Also, their charge was very good.

I had a great experience with Great Job Moving. I moved in with my boyfriend, and I had them move a one-bedroom apartment going into a slightly larger space. I requested two movers and they were on time and friendly. They were also very efficient, quick and easy to work with. They did an excellent job. The quote was 100% accurate as well. I only got one other quote from somewhere else and Great Job Moving's quote was a little less.

I looked at Great Job Moving and Storage's info on their website and they had a lot of options and ability to say what my needs were. So, I contacted them. The movers were on time. Super courteous. They were helpful and quick. They did a great job both loading up and making sure everything was taken care of and packaged correctly, and unloading, checking with me and making sure things went to the right room, if they were unsure. They were nice guys. I appreciated them.

I was moving short notice and Great Job Moving and Storage was one of the few that was available that wasn't exorbitant. The rep was helpful. The movers were fast and took directions well. For the metal pieces on the cabinets though, they used tape rolls and made a cup with it but this didn't go at the same time as all the other hardware that they had to move.

Their website seemed to answer all my questions and seemed like the right thing to do. I went with them and got an estimate. They came, went through the house with a tablet, and looked at about everything. We estimated the number of cartons, the different sizes, and the approximate weight and came up with the estimate. They did a great job on moving day. They showed up on time and everything went smooth.

The first time I used Great Job, I needed to get everything arranged in a short time frame and I wanted somebody who was gonna be responsive, answer the phone calls, and offer a discount to military, and Great Job did all of that. A lot of moving companies you call don't even pick up the phone or answer back. Since I had a good experience with them the first time and I knew them and they did a good move, I used them the second time. They're consistent with most moving companies. They ask how many rooms and how furnished are the rooms, and then they ask about any kind of special things that you need. The moving crew was fast and good. They wrapped everything up. They did it timely.

The estimate wasn't correct. There was a 40% increase. Other than that, my experience with Great Job Moving was okay and nothing went wrong. I packed on my own, and I was ready for the pickup and delivery.

I filled out the information and then Great Job Moving reached out to me and made an appointment. We did a walkthrough of what's going on and then they came from there. Their price was the most reasonable price I saw. It was pretty straightforward process. The rep was very knowledgeable. He explained that he started from being a mover to being someone that provides quotes. He seemed to really know his stuff before I even talked about it. The moving crew helped me move stuff. They didn't help me actually pack stuff. But they wrapped up the big items and moved it and packed it into their truck.

Great Job Moving was the absolute worst moving company I have ever had in my entire life. Nothing was done the way they said it would be and they charged me more for the pleasure. I will never use this company again ever. The rep who helped me get everything set up was helpful and laid everything out. She said they'd have someone show up at my house a week or two weeks before and help me plan out things. But they were supposed to show up a week beforehand to pack things and when I called, I was told that the woman I had spoken with was in a meeting and that she would call me back as soon as possible. She did two days later and assured me everything would be happening. On the day of the move, nothing was packed. The movers showed up and I had to help them pack the stuff. Then, I had some furniture items that they managed to damage and I had to replace several things because of their incompetence.

My previous home was in Kingstown, Alexandria in Virginia, and we moved to Springfield, Virginia. It wasn't too far, and the reps from Great Job Moving were very helpful and understanding about everything. I had a good experience with them. The movers were all courteous and did their job well too. They helped pack, then moved everything to the truck. The move took a day and a half. One day was spent in just packing up everything, then the next day, they came to the house, finished everything, and loaded it into the truck, then they brought it and offloaded it at the new house. The items were all in good shape. We could have done better with the labeling because there were a lot of boxes, but the whole house was packed in a day, so it was fine.
