    I had a great experience with this moving company. The crew was very friendly and professional, and they took the time to explain each step of the process so I always knew what was happening.       Have only the highest praise for Northern Moving Systems who moved me from the east coast to the midwest. They were one of the only companies to give me a very fair price and explained everything well each step of the way. They were very fast to deliver my items and were very kind to me, always professional. Ivan was the mover in charge of my move-out and he did an awesome job with his team, Danny and Chris. The furniture was all packed very securely and was quick for how much I had. No damage on the premises at all and very personable guys. Jhon was the mover in charge of my move-in and he was equally as professional and efficient with his teammate, Roky. Also very friendly and did an amazing job unpacking and reassembling everything.       We had an excellent experience with Anton, Artur, Mike, and Murza from Northern Moving Systems. They arrived on time and handled our move out of a three-story home with efficiency and professionalism—no small task! One of the biggest challenges was getting our couch down from the third floor, but they skillfully hoisted it over the balcony and safely onto the moving truck without a scratch. The entire team worked quickly while taking great care of our belongings. They moved our two-bedroom home without any damage. Beyond being hardworking and efficient, they were also friendly and made sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it in our new home before finishing up.       I used Northern Moving Systems for my move from California to Atlanta, and it was an absolute nightmare. They also used a subcontracted company called Priceline Moving & Storage LLC dba Seattle Moving & Storage, which only made the situation worse. They originally quoted me $2,800, but after my belongings were loaded, they suddenly increased the cost to $4,800 — a clear bait-and-switch. My items arrived 45 days late with almost no communication, and when they finally delivered, many of my belongings were damaged: my mattress box was crushed, my footboard was broken, my dining table arrived with no legs, and several kitchen items and glasses were shattered.

      Their insurance process is another scam — they didn’t offer any additional coverage and instead asked if I had renter’s insurance so they could use my policy to cover the damages. I declined, expecting their insurance to cover what they broke, but it turned out to be worthless and pays almost nothing. I filed claims for every damaged item, and more than six months later, I still haven’t received any compensation and the claim is still “in progress.” Between Northern Moving Systems and Priceline Moving & Storage/Seattle Moving & Storage, this was the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. Dishonest pricing, delayed delivery, destroyed belongings, and a useless insurance process — Avoid this company at all costs.

Priceline Moving is one of our authorized agents. In contemporary times, every national moving company, including Allied, Mayflower, and United, employs agents to carry out or complete certain aspects of their services. In fact, Priceline Moving is among our top agents. The increase in your price was due to the addition of extra items during the pickup process. These additional items were not included in the service order, and we were not aware of them until we arrived to execute the service. We did not load the truck before informing you of the total cost of your move on-site. This practice is illegal under DOT regulations, and we would never risk losing our business license or facing suspension due to illegal activities. You mentioned that your goods arrived late; however, this is not accurate. Your shipment was being delivered over a distance of 2200 miles. Within the industry, this necessitates a delivery window of 7 to 21 business days. You were asked about your availability to receive your goods, and that date is regarded as the first available delivery date. Based on that first available delivery date, we adhered to the seven to 21 business day timeframe that commenced from that specific date. We communicated during scheduling, how the first available delivery date operates, both verbally and through a dedicated email specifically addressing that matter. The insurance process is legitimate. All national moving companies provide basic valuation coverage at no additional cost. Furthermore, we included information regarding various deductible options for insurance within your service order, should you choose to opt for it. Nevertheless, this does not resolve the issue of your damaged items. A mediator has reached out to you to request photographs of the damaged items so that we can work towards a resolution. As of now, you have not responded to the mediator's request. We do not neglect our valued clients when it comes to furniture damage. We would appreciate the opportunity to review the photographs of your damaged items. We kindly ask that you cooperate with the mediator to facilitate the resolution of your complaint. It is our hope that you had paid closer attention to the information we provided, both verbally and in writing, as it contained the necessary instructions for your service. Please reach out to us at your earliest convenience so that we can pursue an appropriate resolution. Thank you, and we look forward to your prompt response.

      I don’t enjoy moving. Northern took the stress of moving out of the equation all together. The customer service is exceptional and the salesman was transparent with the cost of the move, however, I didn’t utilize the free storage for 30 days, but the facility is nice. I’ve already recommended Northern!

      I hired Northern Moving Systems and was never told my move would be subcontracted out to a shady moving company that steals from customers, damages their items, and then tries to intimidate them when they file a claim by sending thugs to their home at night. Upon receiving my items (later than the window given), I noticed a number of things damaged and my (expensive) floor mirror was completely missing. I contacted Northern Moving Systems and they told me I'd have to file a claim with the subcontractor, ONCE UPON A MOVE LLC. I sent this subcontractor more than sufficient photographic evidence of the damaged and missing items and they gaslight me, dragged their feet, and refuse to explain how to file a claim.

      It had been 10 days since delivery and I had already thrown away damaged items and repaired the items that could be salvaged. At no point did ONCE UPON A MOVE mention an in-person inspection would be needed of my items. Instead, they sent men to my home at night with no warning. Their "guys" sent me photos of my home telling me they were outside and wanted to assess the damage. This was a complete intimidation tactic in retaliation for filing the claim. I contacted Northern about it and told them I expected them to deal directly with its subcontractors and not put its customers in harm's way or place the burden on us to deal with fraudulent businesses that we never vetted, verified or even hired.

      Northern never responded and I am out hundreds of dollars more than I had budgeted. Beware hiring them. They quote you a low price and then their subcontractors mark it up with all kinds of add on fees (boxing, steps to unit, etc.). On top of that, they damage and steal/lose items. I would have been better off paying more upfront for a reputable moving company.

You will receive your reimbursement once your claim has been processed. Our local agent, who handled your services, is reputable and has successfully assisted us on numerous occasions. Since you filed your claim, you have not cooperated or communicated with us. We have left messages that you have not returned, and you have not responded to our emails. Your review contains some false statements, which may explain your reluctance to engage in communication. Once again, we apologize for the misplacement of your mirror and assure you that we are actively searching for it. It is never our intention for any client to feel dissatisfied.
