My recent relocation was nothing short of exceptional. Moving from FL to CA was a significant undertaking, but Eagle Moving made the process smooth and stress-free. They carefully itemized every single item I had and quoted me $3,000. When the mover showed up, they added $2,000 to the price or refused to move me. The box count was only 28 when I had told them it would be 40. I even called them before the move to ask what size box they counted as “a box.” I was told Home Depot medium. I told them I was using at least 15 large and was told that was fine because I had so many fewer in total. They tried to tell me my moved “weighed” more than the phone estimate and as I sat there all packed up and near tears, they threatened to leave unless I signed paperwork saying I would pay $2,000 more. I had no choice but to pay this. Absolute bait and switch! I want my $2,000 they scammed me out of back!!!

A very nice moving company did excellent work, earning five stars. This is the second time I've engaged them for a move, and I'm quite pleased. The relocation crew handled everything from start to finish. Throughout the transfer, they demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail. They carefully packed and loaded my possessions, making sure that everything was safe for the road ahead. Throughout the journey, they provided me with all updates and information. This is a long review, so if you want the gist... When you call around, companies will say to be careful. Moving companies will promise the world and under deliver - This company does EXACTLY THAT. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, DO NOT USE THEM. IT'S NOT WORTH IT. On October 9, 2023 we got in contact with Eagle Moving to facilitate our move from California to Texas. We spoke with Nick G, he consulted with us on what our needs were, what was moving in our house, the distance of the move, etc. We spoke with other moving companies and found out that for a move this large, most companies will fill a moving truck then unload, reload and then transport to the final destination.
Lie #1 - He assured us that Eagle Moving does not do that and our shipment would go straight to Texas. When the movers showed up on January 10, 2024, they told us the truck would arrive in Las Vegas, they would unload and reload into a new truck.
Lie #2 - He told us we would be getting 6 movers the initial day and atleast 5-6 arrival day. The day they showed up we had 3 movers. The delivery day we only had 2 delivery drivers.
Lie #3 - He told us we could leave light items in the dressers. The movers told us to take EVERYTHING out of the drawers, this isnt a big deal. However, the movers took apart some of our furniture and we are still missing shelves, our bed frame was damaged.
Lie #4 - Nov 20, we told him we would be taking solar panels & batteries and asked if this would be an issue, he said no problem - We were charged an additional $1,000 for him saying it would be no issue and no problem.
Lie #5 - During the consultation and over the entire 3 months we discussed with Nick how we had wine that needed to be moved. He NEVER told us that THE MOVERS DON'T MOVE LIQUIDS... We told him how many cases of wine would be moved and how many wine fridges. This became a major issue on our LAST DAY in the house.
Our items arrived damaged, some items missing, we received extra charges even though we discussed everything with Nick PRIOR. 2 business days prior to our move Nick VANISHED. No responses. He promised during our move he would be our contact and readily available. When I called the company to complain and get help, I was assisted by Jaime & Caelum. Caelum was EXTREMELY condescending. We had movers at our house and it was our last day in the house and as I was explaining everything and asking for someone to call us back for assistance, he condescendingly said "we appreciate all feedback and I'll make sure to pass this message along". His tone alone suggested that he didn't care and it wasn't his problem. We were told multiple times that we would get a call back and NEVER received a call.
This company got our stuff moved but are the definition of promising the world and delivering our stuff damaged & making sure to get extra money out of you. A move half way across the country is hard enough, its sad that a company like this couldn't possibly care any less about their customers.

All the people I dealt with very customer centric. The sales, QA, customer service and movers. Lessons learned and shared: The estimate was way off by 100%. The move was sold at $5k and is costing over $11k. This is the price the movers gave me after packing and loading. Also Eagle Movers was not the moving company. It was Relo out of Birmingham. The good news is that I now have knowledge of how the pieces and parts fit together.

Please see my review of the poor service I received on other review platforms and BBB. This moving company is a broker and does not actually perform any moves. I received no assistance from customer service who were actually rude and told me that they would not call their subcontractor. Made the mistake of paying the deposit. Be sure not pay the deposit until they send you the bill of lading and you have coordinated with the subcontractor. Your deposit is basically a broker's fee so once they have your money they will not answer calls or emails. Very questionable business practices. Also, insist on an in person inventory and not the virtual review. They will quote the square footage very low. Whatever they quote as the square footage, you need to double it and then ask for the price. That will give you an idea of how much they will try to increase the price once they have your belongings on their truck.
Also, avoid at all cost having then store your belongings overnight. Try to complete the move on the same day as pickup if possible. They estimated my 4 bedroom, 3 car garage with a basement would fit on one truck. The day of the move they told me I was out of space and need to purchase another truck which doubled the cost. Both Eagle Moving and the local mover performed an inventory and determined the total square footage so how can they both be off by an entire truck load. Either they are the worst Moving company or they intentionally quoted a low square footage and price because they knew they would increase the price later. I refused the extra charges and the local movers got upset. That is when I knew this was a scam.
I called Eagle Moving and they were no help. In the end they only moved one truck load and left me with half the house. No apology, no help from customer service. Worst moving experience. I wish they were just honest like other moving companies. Also, the 4-5 star reviews for this company are questionable since they do not have any movers and subcontract all the work.

We had a HORRIBLE experience with this company. We were in communication months in advance for our move from Charlotte to Houston, where they quoted us at $2200 with the inventory list we provided. It was mostly boxes and only a few lightweight furniture items. We even threw out the couch, bed frame, entertainment unit, dining set and other large furniture items to make the move lighter. Keep in mind, it was a first floor 2 br apartment, no elevators were used and no packing or disassembly was required.
A few days prior to moving day we added 30 extra boxes from a storage unit, which we notified them about. After they loaded up the truck they stated those extra boxes would bring our new total to 8,219 DOLLARS! How does 30 boxes equate to an extra $6,019? We were left no choice but to pay it and was told delivery would take 2-3 days. Our stuff didn’t end up getting to Houston till 2 WEEKS later. Customer service said the price increase was unusual and the billing department would get back to us. We still have heard nothing back after calling multiple times.

A representative from the company contacted me, as it seems they are under new management, to apologize for the experience I had under previous management. The company offered a partial refund as a solution to the awful experience I had undergone. I shared what I remembered. She then asked if I did not mind being placed on hold to speak with the billing department. I was placed on hold and she returned and shared what they could offer for my horrible experience.
It would have been great if it was more, however, I'm grateful for the follow-up. I pray, that under new management, people will receive the great service and customer service one deserves when undergoing such a stressful event.

This is a brokerage company, which means they get the job and bid it out to other companies. I'm sure the least expensive bidder wins. I spoke with Nicholas **. We went through my inventory process. He asked about totes, bags and boxes. I provided him with the number of everything. Upon moving day, I received a call stating they cannot deliver my bags, which was discussed during our call. Nicholas never asked or provided any information about the bags, except how many I had. I was informed they would not be delivering them, unless I paid an additional $25 per box, which I declined. I called and spoke with several people on the customer service line asking for a partial refund due to all my items not being delivered. They kept putting me off. The last person I spoke with told me they were working on it and I would hear from someone the next day. Here we are days later and I have not heard anything from anyone.
I contacted the carrier they used, 'Home and Office Movers' and they were rude as well and trying to get more money upon pick and delivery. They told me my items were heavy and it would be an additional $75 for them to bring them in. I live on the first floor. I informed them I'm not paying another dime and to bring my items in my home. Some of my totes were damaged along with other items, which means they don't secure or care about your items. A box was wet and I went through it to find broken class and it was packed and marked fragile. He told me he didn't have time for this. I continued searching until I found it. I paid the companies a large sum of money to deliver my things just as I left them.

Felt proud to choose and employ these relocation specialists for the most important relocation of my life; during the wedding mess, it was really hard to send my stuff safely to home. Not just the furniture and clothing but the artwork, sculptures, diaries, important books from the shelf and what not were to be shifted. I appreciate their care for my stuff and hard work.

Absolutely appalling service. Promised to deliver as per our agreed schedule but utterly failed. The packaging was reckless, and they mishandled my items resulting in many damaged belongings. Would not recommend this company to anyone! What a disaster! Inconsistent timing, lack of communication, and appalling customer service from Eagle Moving Group. Many items got lost in the move and when I tried to address the situation, the company showed complete lack of responsibility. Very disappointing!

Sale representative was quick to promise things that were not provided. Wanted down payment in a check or money order instead of credit card (so no recourse to get your money back). The driver arrived late and with a greater cost vs the original estimate. Such as mattress bags $136. Extra boxes @$1800, additional cost for bulky items. (Mind you many items became bulky.) Said my items would be taken to a hub. Unloaded and reloaded 2-10 days then later stated 5-15 days -which was never originally agreed upon. Only after I call their service department the driver Promised they would load, drive and unload, BUT only if I wanted to pay $4000 more and they could load, drive and deliver and unpack. (Which is what I was originally told would happen in my initial conversation with the sales representative- included in the original estimate).
I would need a bigger truck because my items wouldn’t fit in the one they brought. Driver said he had to leave because he was at my house too long even though he arrived after the scheduled window time. Company only offered $1000 Of my $7400. Back with the remaining Deposit held as a lifetime credit to use in the future and that was only if I signed off that I wouldn’t seek more money back. Horrible experience, misrepresentation on what they would do and they totally took advantage of a single woman. Do not allow them to touch or load anything!

This company baits clients to give a huge deposit in promise of a reasonable moving experience. people are being scammed left and right please read Yelp and Google reviews. They are a broker not an actual mover and they will send someone that will charge you a ton more or you lose your deposit...unless you are willing to take half if you promise not to write a review. Super scam. Please beware of this company and if you have been scammed by them please contact us **.

We were unable to continue with our moving plans and were past our grace period. After a little negotiating we were able to get a complete refund of our deposit. I have moved back and forth across the country several times without incident - nothing lost, stolen, or broken. This move from Florida to Tennessee was the move from hell. Eagle Moving referred me to Moving Wise Services. There are so many issues I hardly know where to start except to say the issues began with the load out. The movers began with breaking and damaging things before they got on the truck. One man turned over a table to remove the legs without checking if the tile inserts on the top were attached. They all crashed onto the tile floor breaking all but one. I had to request they clean up the mess! This same man did not lift anything; he dragged furniture across the floors.
When I initially contacted Eagle Moving, I stated that I did not want my goods loaded, unloaded and reloaded to another truck. I was assured that would not happen. That was a lie. I also made it abundantly clear that while the majority of the move was boxes, the furniture items were mainly vintage or antique pieces that require special handling. I watched in horror as antique pieces were dragged across the floor prior to being wrapped and loaded. My goods were going to storage in Tennessee because my house was being renovated and was uninhabitable. I met the truck driver at the storage facility. The driver demanded cash rather than the cashier's check I had been told to provide. I brought cash as requested. The driver insisted that I sign that my goods had been received in good order prior to even opening the truck. I had no idea if my things were on the truck. The driver was rude and made me feel anxious.
As the truck was being unloaded I took pictures of several boxes that were crushed or had large holes in then. A box with china had a large hole in the top of it. A box with lamp shades was crushed. A box with framed pictures had a hole punched in it. A wardrobe box had the metal hanger literally folded in half. How does that happen!! I contacted Eagle Moving and they told me to contact Moving Wise. I called and left messages several times and sent messages through their system online. I have never received any response from Moving Wise. My goods are still in storage and will be for a few more months while the renovation continues, so I am unable to open the boxes and truly assess the damage. I will never use Eagle Moving services nor Moving Wise again. This was a disaster!

This company (Broker) writes low ball estimates by intentionally putting in incorrect cubic feet so as to secure your business and they don’t pay attention to your inventory list either. You then find out on moving day how far off the estimate it is and in order to get your things moved by this bootleg moving company in a U-Haul truck, you have to pay thousands of dollars more. They committed to moving 26 items/74 pieces from Florida - NY for $2,795.00. On August 4, 2023, the original estimate given to me for this amount and I paid them a 50% down payment or $1159.00. My cubic feet was mis-calculated by an astounding 1000cf thus increasing my estimate by an additional $4783!
I was forced to place my move on hold as the movers were not willing to just move what I had paid for or should I say what my move was estimated at. They literally walked off the job stating they were not about to sift through my ** to find 531cf of stuff. When I went to reinstate my move, I called and advised them I want to just move 531cf that I was estimated at. I will make sure the items to be moved are ready for the mover. They then dropped another bomb on me and said the cost to reinstate my move is $1,435.60 which would bring my moving cost now to $9,013.60! At this point, I saw right through this company and the scam they were trying to conduct on me. That cubic feet calculation was too huge to be an accidental error.
I had to pay airfare, hotel expenses and for a rental car to meet these movers in Florida. Needless to say, the move did not take place, as I was not paying another red cent to these thieves! This has been one of the most stressful things I have had to experience. I am disabled and travel is not comfortable for me. It was a total disaster to fly from NY to FL only to return home with nothing done.
This company cannot be trusted and should not be in business. It is the end of September and I am at square one. They have not acknowledged the mistake they made, nor have they tried to work with me to resolve this. Every time I talk to them it seems they are conveniently able to add more expenses to the estimate. After reviewing this company’s profile on the BBB, there are literally 207 complaints in last 3 years and 75 complaints in last 12 months. The company has been open for only 2 years. This is not a good look and they should not be allowed to operate business this way. I want a full refund of my deposit.

I wanted to like this company. I did a lot of research with various carriers and after speaking three times on the phone with their sales rep, I felt confident that they would do a good job. My move is not complicated - from CA to CO. Over the phone, I was told the move would take 3-5 days. Nobody ever said anything about the time of the move starting from your "first available date" - so keep that in mind when you are telling your mover about your availability. When the actual shipper arrived, they told me 7-14 days. Whether it's business days or just days, still unclear to me. It has been over three weeks since my things were picked up and nobody knows when my things will arrive. It's been 17 days since my first available date.
Also, be sure to double check the contracted rate of weight. When the movers (Blue Lion) showed up, they had a rate that was a full $2.50/cf higher than the one I had in my contract. This would have made my overage several thousands dollar more than expected. Additionally, the company Eagle hired to move my things left an item that is on my inventory list at my old home. When I called Blue Lion to tell them this, they were nonplussed and unconcerned. I'm already annoyed at the claim form I haven't even submitted yet.
Each time I call Blue Lion, they make up some other nonsense. Like apparently this upcoming weekend they had it noted I am out of town. So that might delay my shipment longer. WTF. I never said I was out of town this weekend. They also had my first available date wrong. It was very clear in all documentation what it was supposed to be. Their record keeping sucks. My things are still in a warehouse in CA. Eagle has done nothing to help except tell me that contractually they have 30 days (business days? regular days? who knows) to deliver my things.
My biggest frustration is that they were not upfront in the three separate, lengthy conversations I had with them about just how this move would go. They contracted out a very unprofessional and unorganized mover. I would have made decisions differently had I been told upfront what I should expect. Now the weather is changing, I don't have many needed items for my work, and I'm losing faith that of the things they did pick up, more items will be lost. It makes me so upset.
I needed the full picture upfront in order to be prepared. I was told just what they wanted to sell me so that I would sign with them. I'm very disappointed and at this point anxious because there is no update still. Eagle is probably a fair group - not great but not terrible. There is usually someone to take your call, but nothing they can really do to help. But who they work with are charlatans - at least in CA. So decide for yourself if that's worth the risk.
Eagle Moving Group is a licensed moving coordinator (broker). While we assist with estimates, scheduling, and communication, the assigned motor carrier performs the physical pickup and delivery and operates within federally regulated delivery windows. The timeframes discussed during booking are estimates only and are based on the First Available Delivery Date (FADD) provided by the customer. Delivery may occur at any point within the carrier’s assigned window, depending on routing, distance, and logistics. We regret that this distinction did not feel clearly communicated.
Regarding pricing, all estimates are based on the inventory and details provided prior to booking. Final rates and volume are confirmed by the carrier at pickup, and any discrepancies between contracted rates and carrier paperwork should be reviewed immediately so they can be corrected before loading proceeds. We encourage customers to contact our customer service team right away in those situations so we can assist in resolving them in real time.
With respect to the item left behind, carriers are responsible for loading, inventory accuracy, and delivery of all listed items. We understand how frustrating this can be and recommend submitting a written notice so the carrier can address the matter appropriately through their claims or resolution process. Our team remains available to assist with follow-up and coordination as needed.

I am pleased with this moving crew. They always picked up the phone when I called to ask them anything before I moved. I was relocating from a house to a flat and an art studio, going from one place to two. I had to reconsider some of the goods I had planned to bring because I needed more room for them, and both places had a lot of stairs. Pickup of goods was great, Delivery was horrible. Main issue is 11 missing boxes never returned. Some boxes opened, rummaged through and retaped. Other boxes opened but not retaped. Boxes damaged, items broken and soiled (wet), How did they get wet? No rain! Mattress wet and cover torn. Failed to provide 24 hour advance notice of delivery. Two teenage movers with ankle monitors. Is this legal? Should have been advised prior to their arrival. Inconsistent payment process caused additional hardship. Claim filed with no response from company. Deliberate and intentional damages. Do not do business with them!

These guys made my son's move from a 1 bedroom apartment in Cambridge, MA to our home in Harpswell, ME a breeze. We were so nervous about whether they would be able to navigate the tiny one-way Cambridge streets but they did it without a problem. The 3 movers easily moved boxes and furniture from the third floor in very bad heat and never complained. I was told 4-7 business days to deliver my belongings. It's been 12 days, and they say they might have a delivery date at the end of the week. I moved out of my house a month early to get unpacked at the second house, a waste of a month of my life and a month's rent. I'm not sure if I'll ever see my things again.

Eagle Moving is a call center. Once you commit, you'll never hear from the again. Our stuff was loaded into a 28ft truck and driven to a warehouse in Las Vegas. Then it came to us the first week of June in AL. Some items were broken, one leg on the dining room table was scared, but the big problem is that we have report 8 boxes missing. I'm sure will call again this week. If people get to read this they can make up their own minds.

Their rep asked me about the furniture in each room. He gave me an open move date so that when I found my home in Owensboro, they would be able to schedule within a seven-day period. The movers made the assessment and made any adjustments to the bill that needed to be made. The moving crew was very organized and they took pride in what they did. I did not feel like I was in their way even though I was sitting there waiting for them to move everything. I felt like I was a part of their team. They put everything where I asked them to put them. It has been raining for the past few days, and these guys braved the rain to help me move. But at that time, my king size bed in the master bedroom, I forgot where to put the disassembled screws. After moving, the movers could not assemble them. The next day, I found the screws and quickly called the owner of this company, who arrived to my house in the rain after work at night to help me assemble the bed. The owner of this company has a very good working attitude and is in a hurry. I am very impressed with this move.

I didn't realize that Eagle Moving was a broker and I ended up paying thousands of dollars more than I would have normally. They take a hefty fee in order to find other small movers to coordinate and move with. But their personal service and the subcontractor they used was great. I was told on the phone that if we had to move our closing date, they would store our stuff for 30 days for free, which was not the case, and that was not the case contractually. But if I had taken the time to read the document rather than sign with them on the phone, I probably would have caught that. So, that's not necessarily their fault.
The communication between Eagle Moving and their sub was sometimes confusing. But once we got that all worked out, the subcontractor and I worked together directly and it was great. The move was from Central Louisiana to Jacksonville, Florida and they could have done it in one day, but we didn't have a direct move scheduled. It was supposed to be on hold for a few days and then, we meet him here.

We went through the contents of the house. They gave me two dates for the move based on what I wanted and told me they would let me know the Friday before to confirm. Then, they called the Wednesday before to make sure they get a more accurate inventory after I was done packing. The one complaint I had was that I didn't get the call on Friday to confirm the move on Monday. They're closed over the weekend so there was no way to find out if they were coming Monday or not which is a little more nerve-wracking than I would have preferred. I had to be ready Monday morning, even though I didn't know if they were coming, which is frustrating. Other than that, everything else was great. The movers did well handling my things.

The guy that I contacted was supposed to make sure everything ran great. I called him back the same day and then as the move came up, I could never get in contact with him again. But the guy that moved me was superb. He was a real gentleman and great guy. He took care of it. But I didn't realize that I was throwing $2,000 away by having Eagle book me. I could have called him, and he could’ve done it for 4,000 instead of 6,000. But the quote that Eagle ended up giving me was okay. I volunteered to give the guy that did the move an extra $1,000 because he had to make two trips to get this job done. Eagle totally underestimated the size of the shop. I'll probably never use Eagle again. I would really appreciated them giving me the real truth about what was happening but they didn't. I didn't realize that Eagle was simply a booking company. I didn't know they weren't real movers.

The sales rep for Eagle gave me a quote and I told him I'd call him back because I was gonna take a couple of other estimates. He ended up being not necessarily the cheapest. But being insured and bonded, I figured that Eagle was the way to go. It wasn't that much more, so I called him back and went with Eagle. I went over the inventory list with Josh before the movers came. We estimated about 30 boxes, which ended up being 35 boxes.
The movers were very friendly and professional. They got it done. However, the 26-foot box truck wasn't big enough because we have king size bed and a lot of big furniture. They ended up running out of room in the truck. So I'm here now back in my Columbia house with a U-Haul trailer to get all the other stuff that I couldn't get in the truck because we had filled it up. That's kind of a bummer. But it is what it is. They did the best that they could do with what they had.
As far as moving the furniture, they scratched up the floor by the front door. But it's not that bad. It's not a deal breaker when we go to sell the house. But it is unfortunate that you see it as soon as you walk in the front door. Other than that, they were careful throughout the whole house. They did the delivery all in one day. It was amazing. They worked until 10 that night. They were exhausted. I bought them dinner, which was like a tip for them, and they were appreciative.

For my recent relocation, I hired Eagle Moving Group, and they were fantastic. Amazingly, they managed to get many large items down nine flights of stairs, across a narrow bridge between two terraces, and inside the building. There were no issues, and the relocation came without a hitch. Since nothing ever goes as planned around here, please know that you have my full support. Do not use this company! They quoted us one price, and then days prior to our move the price more than doubled. They lied, and stole our money! They also said if I didn’t use up the total cu ft they said I paid for that I would get money back, and that never happened. This company should not be on your website. They are not a moving company, they are simply sub-contracting you out to the lowest bidder and then pocket the rest of your money.

I do not recommend using Eagle Moving Group. They low ball their estimates of volume based on your inventory to get you to sign on to their services and then when they show up (and they don't show up- a subcontractor does), they hit you with a big increase in costs. In our case the cost doubled. Based on our inventory they estimated 508 cubic feet- in hindsight that was a crazy estimate for volume- how does even a couch, bed and dresser fit in 508 cubic feet? I do no think in volumes and had to trust their numbers- big mistake!!
They came in on move day with 900 cubic feet and our cost doubled- surprise surprise! Their estimate of services document also offered a cost for storage of the items past 30 days of 0.50 cents per cubic foot and then their subcontractor on the day of the move said his cost was $1.00/cubic foot. When I spoke with Eagle Moving Group, they said the bill of lading by the subcontractor supersedes their estimate and therefore that is what you have to pay. This felt like a bait and switch move and it felt very unethical. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!

Moving team worked nonstop from beginning to end. All aspects of the job - wrapping, boxing, loading, unloading and placing in the new house as directed- - were performed efficiently and excellently without any damage. This company are just scam artists. Complete and utter waste of time and money. They "estimate" your move, which I gave them every single item on my inventory list down to the very last box and associated sizes, and they estimated my move at about 1100cuft. The QA call to go over final inventory, I removed over 200cuft of items, which would have left me with about $1700 credit. I sold many things in order to ensure I was within my estimate. The guys get here and they can't take several items, want to charge another $1200 to take A MIRROR. On top of the $1700 I am not getting back because even after taking off 200cuft of stuff they still came in around 1100cuft. I LOATHE this company- do not use them. I will be glad when this is all behind me. It isn't even OVER YET either. Pay the extra money and hire a real moving company, not these clowns.

This operation is a broker. They have no trucks of their own. They give you a quote, charge a hefty deposit. Then the fun begins. A subcontracted moving company takes your stuff. Upon delivery to your new home these movers, who got NONE of the money from your deposit because that all went to Eagle demand more money or else they keep and auction off your stuff.

I hired Eagle Moving based on their great positive reviews and I was not disappointed at all! They came exactly on time and were ready to go. They handled all of my items with great care and everything arrived excellently. The group of three gentleman that assist my move were courteous and hard workers. One of my smaller boxes, which I had not yet noticed was missing, by chance got left behind on their truck and they took it upon themselves to hand deliver it to my house without me even query. I have heard horror stories from friends about movers, but these guys are the real deal. They really went above and beyond for me and that is hard to find these days. I would recommend them to anyone looking for movers in the area, can't say enough good things about them!

Eagle Moving Group was top notch this weekend for my move from FL to MD. My wife and I have a lot of goods and new furniture, we spent weeks packing for the move. I recently moved and reach several movers including Eagle Moving for estimates. I decided on Eagle Moving due to quick response and availability during the time frame I wished to move. The complete process from contacting them, setting up a move date and the actual process for the move was so smooth and easy. I have used many other movers before but this company was top notch. The movers were quick, polite and were very careful with all of my goods. It was a tough 2nd floor move and not once did these guys complain. They were highly professional. Called just to see what a moving company might charge to move my meme. I had just moved her here 7 months ago so I wanted one big semi or two small trucks. Daniel said, "Two small trucks would be the same price as a semi." I said, "That is fine" then we went back and forth on price. He filled out my inventory and my fault I trusted him to fill out correctly to make sure I had two trucks like he said.
They took our money then said it was for one truck, complete scammers and liars!!! Daniel don't know his last name. Michael ** manager was very rude. Said, "Daniel would never do that." Would not give me his last name and another employee Suzy ** called claims. She did not work for Eagle Moving Group but sent me two emails with her name and their logo. Then when I tried to call her back, she never answered. Long story short STAY AWAY. SCAMMERS.

Hello, thank you for reading my review. When I first contacted Eagle Moving they were very polite and convincing that their company is the perfect choice for moving out of state. I was happy, recommend them to all my friends and made the first payment which was about 50%. Regardless I let them know from the beginning that I might have to move a day or two earlier when I phoned back to discuss pick up date immediately the tone of voice of the person that first initiated my contract was different, not welcome anymore. It made me feel that I am a burden and I am bothering him.
I was always under the impression that Eagle Moving will be the moving my personal belongings until few days prior when I found out that will be another company coming to pick up my belongings. I went over multiple times with Eagle Moving letting them know the full description of my furniture and they did not mentioned the extra charge necessary for certain furniture items. The staff of the company that picked up my belongings, charged me extra, destroyed many of my products and keep saying that I should've gone straight to them. At the delivery it was another company that brought my items to my place which tried to fix the damaged bed frame and the other things, they also took pictures of damaged items but did not hear from them either. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the customer service listened to my complaint even though they did not do anything about to help me.

Upfront, clear pricing and was very informative. It was even a time where I was trying to get them to come earlier and he was accommodating though that plan didn't work out on my end. These movers showed up to empty my apartment on time and completed the move within the four hours. They moved my goods with care and also assembled my bed together. I really didn't have a lot, I just had heavy goods that I couldn't lift. I am excited to have worked with these guys. I am out of state for work, so I was very concerned about this move, but they were able to coordinate everything for me superbly, in moving my mom. They wrapped and packed up, and left the original condo neat and clean. Then they got everything loaded into the new apartment in a very timely fashion. Even after they were done, they stayed and helped my 80 year old mom get stuff squared away, including opening boxes to assist her in finding her meds. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! My mom had nothing but good things to say about the Eagle Moving crew, as well as all the administrative/billing staff.

Our estimate was way off on number of boxes. They estimated about 30 boxes. We needed over 70. As a result we had to leave a few thousand dollars worth of stuff because the truck was full. The movers (Dann moving) offloaded our stuff into storage where about a third of it got wet. Several books are destroyed. Many boxes were destroyed and I'm just going I don't get mold on anything. They damaged our treadmill, buffet, kids toy kitchen and several things inside of boxes (toaster, Swiffer mop, totes, etc)... They (Dann moving) were also not responsive and actually stopped taking my calls. All I wanted to know was when to expect my things. They kept giving a date and time then not showing up.
I have several damaged items, but since it's insured at $0.60/lbs...I might only get $100 for my trouble when I have several thousand dollars worth of items that are damaged. If I had to do it again I would definitely use someone else.

Eagle Moving gave us a very fair estimate & the day of the move, the price didn't change. The moving team was very respectful & careful. Moving day, each employee introduced themselves & shook our hands, which I believe was highly professional and friendly. Everyone of them is doing something, team work at its first-class. Every piece of furniture, they asked where it should go & after it was placed down, if I didn't like it, they were more than willing to change it around. I recently had the pleasure of using Eagle Moving for a 10-mile move from the 25th floor of a high rise condo to the 11th floor of a condo. Much to my good surprise, this team came at precisely 9:00 am, as agreed. In spite of the rain, oppressive humidity, the continuous waiting for elevators, and a nearly one block walk to and from my old condo's loading dock, these three great movers were unfailingly polite and highly professional. They did an immaculate job of wrapping and moving my furniture, treating it all as if it was their own. Not a single item was broken in anyway. In addition, they were diligent in cleaning up after themselves, which I certainly acknowledged and I'm sure my old and new neighbors did as well. Highly recommended.

I realize I chose the right moving company from the start. Communication was great throughout the process! I had to change the moving date at the last minute and they did it with no problem. Moving from the second floor without any elevator is a hard task but they made it happen! They packed all my furniture with plastic wrap for protection and had a whole system of organization as we were moving our things to 2 different locations. They worked very hard for 5 hours with no issues. I would suggest this moving to anyone.

After doing some brief research, I gave Eagle Moving a shot based on their pricing. Their customer service was friendly and helpful to a point - but they didn't mention that the work would be subbed out, and I was nickel and dimed by the subbed vendor for items that weren't discussed with Eagle. I was charged over $1500 more than I was quoted by Eagle. I knew there would be some additional charges, but wasn't expecting a 30-40% increase. Pretty disappointed by the lack of transparency.

My belongings never made it to my home. I contacted quality assurance and was ignored. They claim that the movers they send you come highly vetted, yet the movers they sent me spoke next to no English and acted in an incredibly strange/sketchy behavior. Absolutely pathetic showing from a company that claims to put customer interests first. Never move through this company, as you will get scammed/robbed.

We had everything in storage units so they knew exactly how much cubic footage stuff we had. They were able to plan their trucks accordingly for that. We had family meet them at the storage units and then they loaded from the storage units and brought the stuff down to us. However, they showed up the first day with a truck that was too small to pick it all up in. So they came back a second day with another truck to pick everything up. That truck then went from Colorado to Indianapolis and unloaded and put all of our stuff outside while they unloaded that truck to load somebody else's stuff in the front of the truck, and then put our stuff back on the truck until they ran out of room.
We got two trucks on the first day. The first one was all us. The second one was partially us. Then a week later, we got a third truck that had more of our stuff on it. We're still filing a claim because we didn't even get all of our stuff. It was left out in Indianapolis somewhere. The drivers answered questions and tried to take care of us. They tried their best to solve things. But they were telling us, “This is how it is. This is what's going to happen.” They were very forthright and honest with us. They told us exactly what we're going to expect in the near future.
We started out thinking this was going to be very good. Our person at Eagle was knowledgeable and explained the process. Eagle laid it out, planned it out and told us what was going to happen. They were upfront and told us what was gonna go on. It was the subcontractors that did a horrible job in the move itself. The kids who delivered to us literally said, “All I do is take stuff to people that's been left out. And if you don't get it now, you're not getting it. We're done with you.” He was very honest about what to do. They weren't trying to hide that they didn't deliver anything. They weren't trying to hide this broken stuff. They just didn't care. We were fortunate. We only have a few thousand dollars worth of damage. The people who were in the trailer in front of us on that third truck coming in had major damage to their products. We were loading our stuff off the tail end of the truck. We could see they had all their bedroom dressers had been broken.

The first contact I had from Jeff seemed to be truly honest and kind. He sent contract to me. We went over it. Someone different contacted me, told me I owed more funds due to that space that wasn't counted for my furniture. I said that couldn't be so because we took off a sectional couch that was to be moved but we gave it to a neighbor. I was charge $1532.72 more for the move the which was over $2800. The people that I dealt with after Jeff, was rude, ornery, ugly and totally unprofessional. Once they bought the furniture 5 days late... they broke a wooden piece off a bed, did NOT screw the mirrors to the dressers or tighten the screws in on the beds. I hate that I used them for our moving service and or trusted them. Please check BBB and other references before hiring them, listen to me "Don't hire them!!!" Eagle Moving company is awful!!!! Do not choose them. What a waste of money.

We did not move because of my husband who had to have surgery and is homebound. They were really bad about that. They didn't return calls and it was a disaster. The reps kept saying that, “If you move again, you can put this towards that.” But why would I use them when they treated me that way? There was a refund but it was pitiful.

Initially, the rep was very good. He kept calling back until I signed the contract. When I needed to change the moving date, I called and left messages. But I got no response whatsoever. I ended up calling the carrier and I changed the dates with them.

We talked to their rep Kent online and he made me feel comfortable that we would get the service we were requesting. We gave them the dates that we needed it and listed the items that were going to be moved. They were very good about that. In the end, I didn't like that we waited 14 days to get our furniture. That was distressing.
The company that loaded the truck said that they would try to get someone to come down with it because it was a long-distance move. They loaded the truck, and then unloaded it in the warehouse, and then loaded our things into a semi, and the driver worked his way down Texas. I was able to get the truck driver's number and he gave me a couple of dates they would be here. That didn't happen so we had to communicate and keep up. But they were very good at communicating.
The handling of our items went well. There was a box that was crushed and my mattress was wet. But that was fine. The mattress was wet only in one corner and I got it dried out and sanitized. However, we were charged more than what we thought. They said I had more weight and so they added $1,900 on. I tried to explain that I took things off and I said that this is what it was. But if they hit me with $1,900 a couple of days before they are going to load, what can I do?

I couldn't have been more pleased with Eagle moving group. They spent time with me before my move going over all the aspects of the move, explained what packaging material would be supplied and how everything would be wrapped and padded to protect my belongings during the move. The day of the move went very smoothly. I had three very hard working men who did not dilly dally one bit to drive up the bill since I paid by the amount of time it took for the move. I ended up getting back a nice amount since I chose to move more myself that we anticipated. I would highly recommend this company!

I finished studies and moved to my home. My experience with Eagle Moving was excellent. Best customer service. They offered full packing and unpacking service but I only used them to move my items. Crew go out their way to be friendly and cooperative. I had a few pictures I was worried about, but these guys made sure it is protected, they even repackaged it. We had a great experience! I used them because out of all the quotes I received theirs was the most reasonable but with that low price you really do get great service. We used Eagle Moving for packing and a long distance move. They were all amazing movers. My sales agent, was very informative. He answered all my queries. Arrived right on time as quoted, and got to work straight away. They work very hard! They are super careful with your furniture other goods and will cover and bubble wrap everything that needs to be handled carefully. They were so funny and polite, REAL PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH. I talked to them on the phone to ask about pricing and book the move, and he was very polite, friendly and sent me an estimate in no time at all. I ended up paying entirely he had quoted. Responded to me within a day of requesting an estimate, and accomplish accordingly basis my moving time on Thanksgiving weekend. They also called me to check whether a next day delivery was possible due to having another family moving down to the same area. Moving team called ahead to let me know they were on their way, arrived timely and moved all within a few hrs. They also came early and unloaded everything professionally but still carefully.

The mover destroyed, scratched, broken glass ALL furniture. Not one piece of furniture NOT destroyed. Several pictures broken glass and ruined pictures. Large tool boxes bent up. Cigarette burns on towels I supplied them to use for move since they did have materials to pack things in. They came with no packing materials. I told the dispatcher on the final rundown of move what I needed to be packed.
Picked up other person's belongings on the way and I believe that’s how our furniture was destroyed. I was in tears while they unpacked. Now I have to look at ruined items everyday for the rest of my life. They sent me the info to process an insurance claim. The claim company says Eagle Moving Group is not a moving company. So what can I do except feel stupid for using a Brokerage Company. Never ever use this company. Owners will not speak to you. We deserve a FULL refund. On another note every box I packed absolutely nothing broken,

When we originally got the quote, the rep said to us to buy the large boxes at Home Depot. But when he put it in writing, he wrote medium. So, we got charged $2,000 extra for the move. I called them and said, “Would you guys bring the box?” And he said, “It's gonna be too expensive.” But at the end of the day, it ended up being the same thing because my uncle got charged double of what the move was originally quoted for. I tried to call the person who gave us the quote and tried to talk to him about it. He was on vacation. For some reason, I never got in touch with him, so did my uncle. He ended up talking to him.
There is no good communication with whoever the seller was. I tried to reach out. I called and we asked to talk to him directly. Because we tried to talk to the other seller, but they were, “Oh, no, we can't do anything because this is in the contract.” I said, “Yeah, it's in the contract. But the thing is when we signed the contract, we didn’t notice that he wrote medium boxes instead of large. And he told us to go to Home Depot and purchase large boxes.” But they already have their stuff here, we're grateful for that, and everything was in shape.
It ended up being $4,200 instead of what we got quoted for. It was twice as much for the move, so I'm a little upset. Especially when you're moving from one state to another, there's a lot of money involved of the things that you need to pay for. And if you're not quoted correctly, that affects your budget. If you're the customer, you have to read what he writes. But if you're the seller, make sure you're not saying large but you're writing on the contract medium because it's not fair to the customers.
When we got scheduled to have the third-party company pick up the move, we didn't get a new document saying, “This is gonna be the new charge.” We were just told, “Oh, no, you need to pay it or else we're not taking your stuff.” And there was nobody that could answer the phone call because Eagle is in Florida and they were moving from New York, but we were in Texas. So, it was 6:00 AM in Texas, 7:00 AM in New York, and the moving company was there. It was a mess. And it was the end of the month. So, my uncle had to get out of his apartment because he was gonna get kicked out.
Eagle Moving is good. You just gotta watch out with the prices, and you have to read the contract that they're gonna send you because they might just forget to write the correct box measurements. If Eagle Moving can give us a call and talk to us like a regular representative of a company would, it would be nice to explain to us why they said large, and they charged medium, and we had to pay extra $2,000. I'd like for them to take a bit of responsibility.

We are going through some hoops with Eagle right now. They significantly underquoted us space-wise. We told them our budget and we showed them everything in the house and they told us it was going to be X amount of space. They got to our house and the movers were like, "Yeah, that's not gonna be enough. You have to sign this form that says it's going to be an additional $2,500 to get everything. We can't do it until you sign this." So, I was like, "Okay, I'll sign it, but I'm not paying this. So, when you get to that cut-off, let me know and we'll go from there." They didn't even tell us when they hit the cut-off. They just shut their door and left. We had to go with U-Haul to move about 40% of our house. They said that there was nothing they can do for us in terms of anything. They also scratched our driveway pretty badly when they left and they aren't letting us file a claim for that.

All estimates are prepared based on the inventory information available at the time of booking; however, final space requirements and pricing are determined by the motor carrier at pickup based on the actual shipment loaded. When the carrier determines that the shipment exceeds the originally estimated volume, they are required to present a revised estimate or change order for customer approval before proceeding.
We regret that the communication around the revised space requirements and cutoff expectations did not align with what you understood at the time of pickup. We also regret that this resulted in you needing to make alternate arrangements for a portion of your household goods.
Regarding property damage, claims related to physical damage caused during pickup or delivery—including driveways—are handled directly by the motor carrier that performed the service. When I talked to the guy on the phone, he was very nice. He seemed to have everything together. The Eagle part did okay, but they subcontracted my move out to Home and Office Movers in Eldersburg, Maryland and they were the ones that were awful. The movers told me they would be there between 7:00 and 9:00. But they didn't show up till 10:00. Eagle Moving had given me a quote of $3,300 to move all my stuff. The minute Home And Office Movers walked in the door, they started looking around and quoted me almost double what Eagle had given me.
I told the guy, "This is what Eagle told me that I had to pay." I got the money out and said, "This is all I have. This is all I can pay for you." He hemmed and hawed and he called his managers. They said, "We'll move what we can for that price." And that price included all my furniture. Before they even picked up a stick, the guy said to me, "How much are you going to tip us? Because maybe we can work something out." I was thinking this was extortion. It was like I didn't want to pay what they rewrote, but if I would pay him under the table, then they'd move all my stuff. That, to me, is not right.
In the contract, I had written we were going to move some of the stuff to the storage facility, and then some of it had to go to the townhouse that I had moved into. I moved from Maryland to Delaware and we got to Delaware and we went to the storage facility first and they put all the stuff. First of all, he wouldn't even unload the truck until I had paid him in cash for the rest of it. Then secondly, he put everything in the storage facility. I had four garment boxes there and they had to go to the townhouse. He told me, "We're not going to the townhouse just for four boxes." I said, "But these are my clothes and I need them at the townhouse." He said, "You can always move them yourself." That was terrible service.
When we were also doing the estimate, I said, "I don't want any of these horror stories like you hear all the time for movers. When they walk in the door, I don't want them jacking up the price, because they do that all the time." The rep said, "No, don't worry. It'll be done right." I said, "What happens if there is a problem?" He said, "You would call me."
The day of, when the guy was trying to double the price on me, I called Matt and tried to get in touch with him, but Matt was unavailable. After the move was over, I called back to talk to customer service. It was a young girl and I told her about all the problems that I had. But, she didn't say anything. She just said, "I'll pass this on to the management," and that was the last I heard of it.
I also called Home And Office Movers and complained about the service that I got and how poor it was and how they left my garment boxes over in storage. And they were very disagreeable. They argued with everything I said, like they never had a problem with that crew, all this stuff, which I know has to be a lie. I wanted them to rectify the problem but they wouldn't do it.

We were under a tight timeline, and Eagle was the quickest one to get here. Everything was great, except every time we met with them, the price seemed to go up. The first time, it was just a walk through the house. The second time, they had someone call me. So, my price pretty much doubled. Then, I was given some misinformation on box sizes. So, when the movers got here, it went up a little more. That was probably part of my fault, too. So, I can't blame them.
The movers were great. Two of them didn't speak much English, so it was hard to communicate with them, but the lead guy did speak English. I tried to joke around with the other guys and they spoke just enough English that they could understand me. Once they knew what they had to do, they jumped right in and worked like dogs. They really worked hard. They didn't stand around and wait to be told what to do. They knew what they had to do and they got in and got the job done quickly.

They worked well, but they totally underestimated the job. When I gave an update, I purposely overestimated myself, but it still wasn't enough. They gave me the original estimate and I knew it was going to be lower than what I expected because we ended up taking a lot more than we were going to. So, the second estimate was the problem. I don't think the way that they calculate is proper. The estimates could be lowballed just to get you to go with them. But the mover itself has been excellent so far. I'm waiting for delivery now.

Everyone was very polite and careful so I called them again on our move out of this house. This were all very terrific. Arrived on time, hard-working, polite and TOOK EXCELLENT CARE OF OUR GOODS. I could tell they were very experienced movers. They reassembled beds very fast, packed up important pieces and helped fight together the odds and ends you don't realize you're leaving behind. They asked before they laid down rugs to make sure they were in the right place and if I wanted to vacuum. Definitely recommend these guys!

I was concerned about using a moving broker and was assured repeatedly that there would be no issues! The quoted $16k for the household goods move was about $12K less than the mover that showed up charged me. 75% more to do my move. Closing on home and had no choice.. A form of extortion. I told the Eagle Moving Group representative that in 22 years of active duty and 20 additional years of federal service; it always took two days to pack and a tractor trailer… The movers showed up with a single 28’ truck. Did the walk thru with mover to find out it was going to cost an additional $12K. WOW…bait and switch! I will have to research how to resolve this issue… First things first..,got to get from Nashville to Fort Pierce. I should have followed my gut.

Eagle was horrible to deal with from start to finish - I will never use a broker again - employees left in the middle of the transaction - I was lied to regarding why the advisor left - my move cost was grossly miscalculated - I was promised a refund of $1,800 and only to find out Eagle went out of business - none of my phone calls to management were returned - I was misled about storage fees - Worst Part is I started with Eagle, because they were highly rated by Consumer Affairs!!! Thanks A-lot!?!! One star rating is too much for my sickening experience.

The sales rep for this company was very helpful, he responded to all my inquiries and assured me when I was in doubt. He assured me that, the less weight in the truck would in return be less in the final bill, that I was welcome to pack boxes and that would translate on less charges for the moving materials needed. I asked about how and when will the truck be weighted and he said that trucks now had their own weight system and the foreman for the moving company would be able to see it as it was been loaded. I haven't moved in a few years and thought that it was possible, trucks had that capability.
We called the company regarding insurance a few days before departure, we were told that 48 hours would be sufficient (insurance prices were high and we already expected close to $14000.00 in expense for the move, less because we packed a lot of boxes and moved a couple of trucks loads and a uHaul trailer). When we called to add the insurance we were told that 72 hours was the minimum and they could not help us, to ask the foreman of the moving company when they arrived and they should be able to offer us insurance.
I received a call from the brokers, Eagle Moving, they were calling to confirm the release of the packing materials, over $2521.00 worth, I told the person I was talking with if they removed the materials I asked them to remove, I did not need 15 picture boxes at $24.00 a piece, or 50 lg boxes at $13.00 a piece, most of the packing was done. She said she didn't know anything about it and she just needed to release the packing materials.
During this few days I tried to call the nice, helpful sales person to no avail, other people try to help and one of their customer services people was very rude in his responses and kept telling me that whatever that sales rep had told me was incorrect, didn't I sign the contract as it was written? I said yes, but it was not a contract it was an estimate, I signed it while on the phone with the sales person and he kept on assuring me that the final price would be decided on the final weight, and cost of the packing materials used.
Moving day, Dann Realty LLC was the one called for this move. Their foreman for our move texted saying they had to go to Uhaul to pick up packing supplies (??). He texted again a few minutes later saying that Uhaul was not opening till 8:30, texted again saying that they were going to Walmart to buy tape. My thought was, weren't the packing materials released to them days ago? What is going on?
When they arrived our first question was what kind of insurance did they offer? They only offer the basic that was already on the moving deal, nothing else. A $1000.00 dollar piece gets ruined, I get 60 dollars, something like that. Second question was how come they had to go shopping for materials? They were en route back from a delivery to Florida when they got the call for the pick up and no time to go to their place for replenishment. Their first question was, where is the cashier's check?
Our main concern was our antiques and how they were going to be packed and wrapped, they only had blankets, not bubble wrap, no corrugated cardboard, nothing. Again, I had been assured by the nice sales person that my antiques would be well taken care of, that their movers were very professional and that bubble wrap was included on the package which was all included.
Needless to say that we put in more hours than the movers wrapping and packing our antiques with bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard that we had the foresight to have on hand. Antiques were taken apart by us, the $75.00 dollar package for our grandfather clock, consisted of my husband removing the inner workings, me packing them and the movers and my husband wrapping the delicate piece in bubble wrap. So, with all of that where was the $2521.00 worth of packing materials when we spend more than the movers themselves on rolls of tape, that everyone used, huge rolls of bubble wrap, packing for the pictures, roll of corrugated cardboard that was so big, it had to be delivered...
It was explained to us, that that figure included the actual packing of the boxes, again, not that many left. The foreman was shown, that most of the cabinets were empty, china hutches empty, most of the wardrobe packed and gone, what was not gone was already packed, nick knacks packed and gone. He said it looked real easy. I don't have much of an issue with Dann Realty LLC, just that they send their people unprepared, I was told by the movers, that they have stuff for picture packing, bubble wrap and everything else at their warehouse, but were told to go straight to the next move.
I have a huge issue with Eagle Moving Group INC from Florida, their sales people snare you with assurances and then their customer service people basically stop you from talking to them, he's not in, he is on another call, I can help you with that...They charged me $4287.00 for answering the phone a few times with different and erroneous information and just plain passing the job order to the next long distance mover in line. Scandalously dishonest, not sure how much is finding you a moving company and calculating the weight of your move from a virtual platform is worth, but it is not worth that amount of money nor worth the hassle of those frustrating phone calls. If you can help it, do not use a broker at least not one like Eagle Moving Group INC from Florida, go straight to the moving company and get the information straight from them.

Like so many others here, I had was bamboozled by Eagle Moving. They quoted me $12K and once the movers showed up I ended up paying over $30K. This move from UT to TX has been nothing short of a nightmare. They way lowballed the estimate. The 3rd party contractor that showed up do the work, brought a really small truck and 3 guys. They had to get a 2nd truck and they had to work until 1 am in the morning. NOW - I still don't have my furniture 32 days later and I am told today that it will be another 5-7 days. Every time I call I get a different answer and a new timeline. The last time I called (today) they hung up on me. I am super frustrated and still waiting. Telling everyone everywhere to NEVER use this company. They lie and swindle and don't care about customer service at all.

These guys quoted me 2,800 for my move and said that’s all it would cost. Of course they show up and start packing and say I have more than they quoted and end up charging me $4,000 in additional fees. I would have never booked them and flown all the way down to do the move if I knew it would be that much. They need to stop the bait and sWitch.

Exceptional experience with the team at Eagle Moving Group. We present a quote after a video examination, the team arrived on time, cover up & ready to go. They equipped all needed packing material for our glass items, protected everything extremely well, and provided the needed disassembly and re-assembly of larger items. All in all, they were quick, efficient and courteous guys that put everything precisely where it needed to go. We came in under estimated time and under the quoted amount. I would absolutely recommend these movers for a quick and painless move.

This was quite a learning experience. Initially we worked with contact from Eagle. We did a detailed inventory and were quoted a price. Good communication on when the movers would arrive. They arrived on time and there were 10 excellent workers. Very courteous and very efficient. The actual movers were a sub contract from Eagle, a company called Jackson Movers. Do not make payment out in advance until you confirm name to be made out to. Unfortunately they had only a partial inventory list of our items.
They used a 1900 cubic foot truck to load and take back to a nearby warehouse. They had to load that truck three times to get all of our belongings stored. Our quoted price just about doubled. They based pricing on cubic feet, so total price was correct, we just had no idea of the accurate cost upfront. This was over Labor day weekend and we were told that they would deliver as quickly as possible. We listed next day as our availability. We were told between 5-15 days for delivery.
We tried to call the dispatch number non stop for the next week and were not able to get a response. We were told that driver would call us 1-2 days before arrival. We did get a call 11 days later on a Monday from the driver saying he would call later that night with confirmation but expected to arrive by noon the next day. No call at night and again dispatch had no ability to confirm anything. Driver did call at 10AM next day and arrived at noon. Good team unloading the 18 wheeler and done within about 6 hours.
Please note they required payment in either cash or postal money orders. Also we tipped all workers on both ends, not required but they certainly appreciated it. I would not hesitate to recommend Jackson Movers, I would caution that for some reason Eagle was not able to give us an accurate estimate after doing a detailed item by item list with us. Appears they lost several inventory pages when they both quoted us and confirmed to Jackson how much we had. Talking more than $15,000 difference. Not sure how or why just advising caution.

I could not have been more impressed with Eagle Moving Group. They were so accurate! Movers were the best. They came timely, worked quickly, and were so cooperative. We had several stops in town with the final one being goodness. Move went smoothly and without any hitches. They wrapped all our furniture, taking good care of our new mattresses. And moving out of our apartment meant 2 sets of stairs, some pretty large furniture. Never complained - very strong movers! Do not hesitate to hire these guys. I could not have been more pleased!

I contacted Eagle Moving Group for my recent move, the estimate provided to me was timely and VERY TRANSPARENT, no hidden fees nor surprises. I had a team of 4 moving guys to help me move from my one-bedroom apartment, I did have most items already boxed up, but they did a good job wrapping up all the furniture in quilt and padding as well as disassembling my bed and redeveloping it on delivery. They were EARLY and VERY PROFESSIONAL TEAM. The job that was predicted to take 5-6 hours took them about 3.5 hours including drive time. There is a 4 hour minimum, which they didn't need being quick but super cautious. Generally a smooth, professional and fast move.

Had to organize a last minute emergency move after one of the big moving companies let me down a few days before closing on my old house. Contacted Eagle Moving Group and found help. Very professional and super-fast organization of loading list and moving company (Dann Moving). I could not have had any better moving crew. Very fast and focused. They moved a 4+ bedroom household from the old to the new location(over 700 miles) within 3 days from starting to load to finishing to unload. Wow. Only minor losses or damages. The quote was spot on. Despite all the negative reviews I found, I can only say positive things and this review is not fake or paid for.

I selected Eagle Moving to get me from FL to CA. I have a one antique desk that needs GREAT CARE when move from one place to another. Of every business that reply to my request for estimates, this company was the only one with verifiable license and insurance, so I went for it. And I'm happy I did! Eagle Moving sent a team of three professional movers. They were really fantastic! They pursued my request to call few minutes before arriving and arrived right on time. They worked very quick, using KIND CARE the whole time. If I move again, there's no need to look around. I'm a REAL CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!

Moving from FORIDA to SEATTLE was made all the painless with the crew from Eagle Moving! I was inspire with the service from start to finish. Administration was very easy to get a hold of and helpful with all of our insurance questions. The crew that came out to pack the first day and move us the next day was the same group of guys which MADE IT EASIER ON ME. Also, they assist me understand why they were packing thing as they did. The driver that meet me in my new home was amazing, he truly interwove the needle when parking his truck. Thanks guys!

Eagle Moving comes out to be a much better move than any other mover I saw. Their service was frequently extremely good. And the movers were professional, polite and efficient. These guys were really awesome movers. Despite I paid for three man team, they add a fourth member free since he was working on a huge job later in the day. I am also pretty sure they handsomely underestimated the drive and move time total. If you want to reduce the stress of moving, book Eagle Moving--it is not indeed worth the time to research other movers.

It’s one of those moments when you lose faith in people. I told Shane what items needed to be moved, he quoted $9500, movers show up asking $15k & then before leaving made it $20k! I’m stuck because I have to pay it so I’m out of the house I sold. I had another company give me a quote that actually saw all of my belongings and price it at $8500. I had broken items and upon receipt of items I realized that they charged me for moving a medium box that was a small and sometimes wrote large for a medium box. I have pictures of the box with numbers on the sheet next to a box that actually has the size on it. Never seen such fraud!! Company Offered $1400 for NDA! So I hope I’ve saved you $ and frustration by listing this review. I’d love for a class action lawsuit to stop them from doing this to people since there’s a bunch of people across many platforms.

I had to move from Utah to Texas June 2022 and was my first time hiring a moving company and I thought they were actually giving me a deal. Turns out I had to pay more once the movers actually came out because this business does not provide accurate quotes and the difference is not minimal. I had to pay extra so they could take my stuff in total it costs me over $5,000. They contract outside movers that are less professional and have lost and damaged my belongings. Upon delivery they only accept money order or cash and won’t even let you see your stuff to see the state it is in beforehand. Now I know why!! Now I am trying to submit a claim and Eagle Movers is stating they are not responsible but they are the ones who hired these people. Make it make sense!! Good luck getting any real assistance!!

The complete moving experience has been outstanding. We have never had such professional movers pack and move our entire apartment before so it was a bit of new for us. The main office staff made it VERY SIMPLE TO ORGANIZE for a day for the movers to come, and also for virtual approximate to be performed since an estimator was not available to come to our apartment in person. Today we had the best team of five guys pack and move our entire life's worldly goods including many years of collected homeware and kitchenware. I cannot recommend this team highly enough. They all were very professional and efficient.

After exploring several moving companies for my move from FL to LA, I decided to go with Eagle Moving and I have absolutely no disappointment! Eagle Moving's rates are great and the team is SUPER CUSTOMER ORIENTED. We had to make a last minute small change to our move date and they were able to change the date with less than a week of notice. The movers packed all our items up so quickly without give up quality and were in and out within an hour. Definitely utilize them for the next move!

We hired Eagle Moving to do our move from FL to NY on two-week note. They were the least costly of total three quotes I got, but you could not tell that by their moving service. We had a team of five-man for our three-bedroom house. They were all professional, polite, and had great observation to detail. We were even indicating a part of our daughter's furniture that had become strained and unsafe, that we may not have observed. In addition to that, they were VERY COORDINATED and FAST. We hope not to move again soon in future, but if we do these the movers we would call.

We were unavailable for more than a year with all our household belongings in a public storage. On extremely short notice Eagle Moving was able to book us a schedule to move. This moving group let us us know they are time of arrival and met us at the storage space. They got our whole packed unit loaded up in about an hour, having our 2 bedrooms apartment stuff. They got everything into our new apartment very quickly, as well. Entirely it was great and we would recommend their moving services.

DO NOT use Eagle Moving. Stay Away! The positive reviews are most likely written by their own employees. I scheduled a move through Eagle Moving mid-June 2022 for a late July 2022 move from Boston-Philadelphia. Since I scheduled a month in advanced and am a student they gave me a discount and estimated me around $2,400 and 350 cubic feet. I confirmed my inventory with their inventory control manager and was all set. They even told me I might have extra space in the truck if I needed anything else. The movers showed up and took a look at my apartment and essentially told me that Eagle Moving way underestimated the amount of space I was going to need and demanded I paid them an additional $1400 in cash that day and an additional $1600 on drop off or they wouldn't take my stuff.
Eagle Moving drastically underestimates the moving cost knowing that the day of the move you are going to be in a bind and end up paying it. They convinced me to put the deposit down and were incredibly misleading with the cost. I ended up having to purchase an additional 300 cubic feet. I understand if the estimate is a little off but they underestimated my quote by half which was no mistake by them. They have ghosted me since and refuse to refund me any of the money. Instead of paying $2400 like they said I ended up paying a total of $6,000.
I spoke with them as a 26 year old female moving 400 miles away and as a student about how terrible they should feel for extorting people but they had no sympathy, completely knowing how corrupt their business is. Eagle moving has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I would absolutely never recommend them and they are a morally corrupt company. I will review them on every website so no one falls in the same trap that I did. They have not tried to compensate me for underquoting me by $3,600. Move size: 1 Bedroom Home. Service cost: $6000.

Exceptional moving experience! I called Eagle Moving after reading so many great reviews. I needed to move within 2 days with NO NOTICE, so I was worried about being able to find any movers in time. Surprisingly eagle moving were able to come out the next day in the afternoon. I received a call before their estimated time of arrival, so I knew when they would arrive. All of them did a great moving job for us. They packed up and wrapped everything quickly. I am VERY HAPPY with the prompt and CAREFUL SERVICE! I will definitely use them again.

Eagle Moving did a great job moving us from FL to MD. They arrived on time, highly professional and nice about my hesitation about where to put things. I haven't moved from many years and felt OVERWHELMED and BREAK-UP. They were very coordinated and use every inch out of a box & their truck. We had 3 guys and they had us out and in GOOD TIME at a fair cost. They provide blankets and supplies like wrap, boxes, tape. Well worth their competency with whatever needs wrapping. Our move was on a really busy day which made me even more grateful for of their packing & moving expertise.

Updated on 09/03/2022: Initial contact lead to misinformation on moving, 2nd contact cost me additional $ because of lack of 1st info recording even with deleting of many large items. Also moving date and arrival date info all screw up, costing me additional storage fees. Delivery was late in evening and promised assembly of disassembled items incomplete. Don't know if there is a worse company for moving but I would not recommend Eagle to anyone. They did pay half of storage I believe but haven't seen credit card statement yet.
Original Review: The agent we dealt with never took an accurate listing of what I gave him. He never forwarded full info to second agent. Requirement for storage not forwarded to trucking company which cost me $650 extra upfront. All discussed with him. Trucking company didn't receive full information on load. Wrong delivery address referred to trucking company. When he was called and confronted he dropped call and sent to someone else. When talking to higher up individuals, we're sorry didn't improve the situation I was stuck in. They said they would pay 1/2 the storage cost but now I'm not sure just when I will receive my belongings because truckers thought it was next day delivery. They are booked to at least August 12 at earliest unless they can find someone else to deliver.
Basically Eagle Moving Group took my upfront money almost 2 months ahead of time and flushed my info and me. Don't know if I'll actually see the 50% they said they would cover. This company should not receive any referrals from anyone, lie for the money should be their motto. Once again they should be dropped from your or anyone else's referral list.

This moving team arrived 5 minutes early. THEY WORKED WELL AS A TEAM. There was clear synergy between the guys. They were extremely cautious with my primary items. I couldn't believe how well everything adjusted into the truck. They are definitely the experts in moving!! When we arrived at the destination (NYC) they were very careful with my new floors and put out a roll of carpet to walk on. They carefully unloaded everything into my garage and the rooms. I have ALREADY RECOMMENDED Eagle Moving and will continue to do so. I will definitely be using this company the next time I move.

Eagle Moving is the best company I've used. The harmonize for setting up the move is very well ordered and customer friendly. I moved from a 1 bedroom 3rd floor apartment with NO ELEVATORS. They contacted me over an 30 min early to give me a good heads up. The moving guys showed up quickly and go ahead working right away. They were hard-working, professional and reliable. The moving process went smoothly. They're VERY HONEST and did not try to sneak in any extra charges that other moving companies have used in me in the past. I would definitely recommend this moving company again and will use it in the future.

What a frustrating experience it was dealing with Eagle movers! They grossly underestimated the size of the move and sent a truck that was too small. This forced us to find another truck, 26 ft, at the last minute, find our own help to load it and drive it ourselves from PA to Florida. Instead of sending someone to our home beforehand to take inventory, you based your truck size on a few pictures of pieces of furniture I sent, I had no idea you were going to base your truck size on this alone. We had a 2800 sq ft home NOT including a full basement and full attic, I told you that we needed your largest truck. We had hundreds of bags to deal with ourselves!
We were told delivery would be in 7 to 14 days. On day 21 we got a call that they were ready to deliver. When they arrived, we were told we must pay cash or cashier's check before unloading. This was never made clear although it was pointed out in the fine print of the contract we signed. Since the first driver who picked up the furniture, didn’t require this, it was reasonable that our personal check or credit card would be accepted again. Since it was a Sunday and no banks open, we could not provide cash on the spot and they drive off with our furniture saying if we didn’t have the cash by the next day, they could not guarantee if we would ever get it.
Thankfully, the furniture arrived intact but several pieces had scratches, gauges, and chips, your company was so frustrating to deal with, that we did not follow up with making an insurance claim. Your workers were not professional in any way. I would have thankfully paid more if we could have received professional treatment from the start

This is the worst customer service I have seen. First, they underestimated our move by $2000 and at least 1000 cubic feet. We were forced to get a UHaul and load our boxes by ourselves. Then it took over three weeks to get our furniture delivered that they picked up. All we got was excuses and virtually no help from Eagle or Arena Van lines. Eagle is only the broker and does not actually do the moving. I will NEVER use this company again, Nor would I recommend it to my worst enemy. I gave one star because negative stars are not an option.

I normally don't write reviews, but I felt a need to after our experience with these guys. We used them for our move yesterday, and they were excellent! They moved our stuff quickly and efficiently, and were very responsive to where things were to go in the apartment. They were also very responsive through email. Our transition to the new place was seamless thanks to our three movers!

The movers ARRIVED EARLY. I was very much surprised. Upon arrival, they asked what furniture I had and were able to grab the necessary equipment to reduce the number of trips to and from the truck. They were quickly able to clear out my 1 bedroom apartment in one hour, and unloaded everything within 45min. They were very professional, friendly and efficient. NOTHING WAS DAMAGED and they accommodated all my requests. I would highly recommend EMG to anyone planning to hire movers.

This was my first time using movers in life, and I'm SO GLAD I went with Eagle Moving. Not only were the rates competitive, but I was impressed with their WAY OF COMMUNICATION and they also happened to be available a week from when I booked them. Crews were extremely competent and professional. I originally thought it would be a 2-man crew, but there were three guys! They gave me a call half an hour before they arrived. They made an otherwise hectic day much easy by showing up on time, wrapping and transporting items VERY QUICKLY, and helping us unwrap items at our new apartment. I was really impressed with their service. I would recommend them to anyone!

I've used Eagle Moving Group for 3 moves now and both times were as smooth as could be. The movers showed up early and really hustled and were kind, professional and friendly throughout. I've been recommending them since the last move and will continue to do so. Somehow they made such a stressful event super easy!

Eagle Moving Group team was excellent during the move from FL to IL. From my 1st call for an estimate to final details when moving in, everything was done professionally and accurately. They packed and moved all furniture from our three bedroom house as well as loaded the boxes we packed. Then they met us the next day as we moved three hours away. They arrived promptly and got it work! Our furniture was unloaded, built and placed properly. They even helped with rugs and setting up where needed. They were prompt and cautious. They watched for walls and doors and it was a GREAT SUCCESS. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to move!

A brilliant job well done again! This is my 2nd move with this company. I am a very happy client with all of these times! I had some expectations and there were FULLY MET. I always try to make it effortless on the movers and make sure it goes trouble-free by boxing everything except the big furniture and with easy approach. Give all these guys I've dealt with a RAISE and PROMOTION! I have a 6-month lease and depending on my job I may increase another 6 months lease. Regardless, I know who will be moving me again in the future.

I received the best and most reasonable price from this company for my move. I called at least 5 different local area movers that were listed with the best ratings on Google for quotes for my move. The moving man, who I spoke with was very personable. And, he got the estimate to me fast. And, again the price was competitive/the best among the moving companies that I called. The movers arrived on time and completed my move quickly and efficiently. I was surprised with how quickly they got the job done. Definitely would recommend using them again!

I thought I had done my research, Zach ** with Eagle Moving Group assured me of my knowledge and even devised a time line that would for sure meet my needs. Come to find out, complete BAIT AND SWITCH operation that they're running. They sold my contract to Mover Van Lines, a company I had already talked to and decided I didn't want to do business with before I ever called Eagle Moving Group. I paid over $1300 to them for NOTHING!!!!
They (Zach **) misrepresented the cubic square feet of my move (or the company they are in business with - Mover Van Lines is pulling a scam of their own), the fact that they would be the ONLY company I would be dealing with and promised I would be getting my belongings delivered on a certain date....when in fact the date they put was in reality the date that the company that they SOLD my contract to would start counting their 21 days until delivery!!!! SUCH A SCAM and DON'T TRUST ZACHARY ** ** (ext - even tho ext means nothing with this company - **). You will get horrible customer service, you won't have ANY control of your belongings and will be left with nothing...not even a chair or bed... FOR WEEKS!!!!

Eagle Moving Group did an fantastic job with my mom's move! The crew arrived on time. They were very cautious with all the furnitures. The movers were also INNOVATIVE in methods of moving the furnitures that was too big for the stairwell! The moving guys were VERY RESPECTFUL to the clients and amongst each other. Moving can be stressful especially when on a budget. Originally, when I spoke to the phone agent, everything appeared a breeze and he even stated that the rate was discounted. The rate sounded too good to be true so I even clarified with the phone agent about additional cost and provided more info on the amount of items we had. And again the phone agent stated that the total (agent did not disclose it was an estimate) was accurate. Upon the movers coming the main guy expressed that the estimate was way off and disclosed a lot of additional fees. I panicked with the new estimate of over +$2,000. However, Jose and his team were super efficient and transparent. Jose was able to set some comfort about the situation. However, even with Jose and his team being helpful, My partner and I were in disbelief and completely devastated of being hit with an additional + $1,000 (Jose was able suggest a few pointers to lower the estimate).
We ended up still moving forward with the company because our lease was up. However, if seeking movers I highly suggest to seek a more personal company that can provide a more accurate estimate and will be more transparent about their services. Additional fees that were not disclosed were: tractor fees (area needs to be able to fit an 18 wheeler an additional $350 minimum), fuel surcharge (not stated upon booking an additional $ 480), additional stairs fee (agent did not disclose if it’s more than one flight of stairs specifically 12 steps there is an additional fee). Also, they express that delivery will take between 5-7 business days but I was just notified that it can take up to 21 business days so we’ll when I get my furniture…. Other than the great service from Jose and his team, this experience has been terrible. I would highly suggest to go with a company that is more transparent and personal.

These guys are SKILLFUL! After using other movers in the past year, I cannot tell you how much better these guys are, leaps and bounds. They came in at the estimated price, they assure and talented more than I thought they would. They came right on time when they said they would and my little apartment was packed up in no time at all. I didn't trust prior reviews that they could carry a few boxes on their backs at a time, but it's true. They were also VERY GENTLE with delicate electronic items. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

Originally quote $9,000. Then it increased to $12,000. Finally wound up costing over $17,500. They wait until they get your deposit and then jack up the price. They are the coordinator only. Subcontract the actual move to rather shady movers. I would not recommend this company.

We used Eagle Moving Group for a move from FL to MD. Our new home had a driveway that was very long, and steep, which didn't allow for trucks to make it up to the top. He assured me that they would have plans ready for action in case his 24' and 14' trucks didn't make it up. Other companies said they would think about what to do when they got to the house the day of. He took the time to personally drive by the new house days before our move to evaluate exactly what he required to do to be prepared. Sure enough, neither truck had enough clearance to make it up.
They used a pick up truck to shuttle our belongings up to the house. They had quoted me a not to exceed price for 5 guys to do the job, but he sent 6, and then sent two more when they realized how difficult the job actually was. All the men that came out were very professional, they were KIND and RESPECTFUL, PUNCTUAL, HONEST, and best of all fast! We will definitely use them again.

I've used Eagle Moving 4 times over the past few years for moving both RESIDENTALLY and COMMERCIALLY. I have used many other movers when Eagle Moving was not available, but they are always my first choice. They are prompt and so quick. They also NICE PEOPLES, pleasant, polite, and super please with your time when they are on the clock. Confidently I don't have to move anytime soon, but if I did, they would be my first call.

These guys sold us to Coach USA. It has been over a month since we moved to our new home and we are basically camping out because none of our stuff has been delivered yet. Don't make the same mistake we did. They will say anything to book you and then ditch you.

We had previously moved from Florida to New York and used a moving company, so I took them and another company, and then I took Eagle's estimate. We were kind of strapped for money at that point and Eagle had the best price. They seem to be very reliable and on the up and up, so we decided to go with them. Their rep was very good but then after the setup, he kind of just disappeared. I could never reach him.
The customer service called me and said that they were trying to reach me and that they had a date and time for the movers to come. I said, “Fine.” It was the 27th of May and there has to be a three-hour window because that was all my building would allow in terms of elevator reservation. I said it would have to be from 12 to 3 pm. I didn't hear anything until the day before they were supposed to show up. Then they told me that they couldn't come. They were coming at 10:00. I said, “Well, they can't move anything until noon.” The dispatcher said, “Well, can they start moving at 11:00?” I said, “I don't know. I'll have to see if I can get another hour on the elevator. They’re very strict about who's moving in and out.” She went on and on about it.
When the movers came, they parked outside. I had everything in boxes. It wasn't like I was still packing. It took them from about 11 o'clock in the morning till six o'clock at night to move a two-bedroom apartment that didn't have bedroom furniture or office furniture. It basically had living room furniture and that was it. The movers were very nice. The guy in charge was a little grabby. I think it was a cultural thing so I don't think he was trying to be rude, but it was totally inappropriate.
Eagle called us on a Saturday afternoon after I had been checking for two weeks to find out when the truck was going to be here. The guy texted me when the merchandise left and I flew down here. I texted and I said, “Can you give me an idea of when it's coming, when the truck will be leaving?” He told me, Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week. The following week, I checked and I couldn't get in touch with anybody. I called customer service. They said they were checking with the trucking company, but they couldn't reach the trucking company either. So, for about a week and a half, I had no idea when my stuff was coming or if it was on a truck.
Finally, the Saturday before we were supposed to move, the trucking company called me and said, “We're going to deliver the stuff tomorrow and you need to have cash. We don't accept checks. We don't accept credit cards. You need to have cash or money order for the balance,” which was like $3,500 and change for the move. It was 20 minutes before the bank was going to close. I was running to the bank to get the money and then they told us, “Well, it's gonna be another $800 because we have to take it from the big semi-truck to a smaller truck.” We didn't have an extra $800. We went back and forth.
Meanwhile, the guy was calling me all kinds of names. He hung up on me twice because I was giving him a hard time and saying, “This is ridiculous. What do you expect? I can't believe how unprofessional this is.” He was like, “I'm trying to work with you. I don't want to talk to you anymore.” He hung up. That was unbelievably stressful. Eagle did nothing to make it less stressful. I did get my stuff. It was moved in. The people were very nice, but four pieces of furniture were damaged and I'm missing a box, but I didn't realize that until I started unpacking.

TL,DR: Made the reservation for move from Fremont, CA to Tucson, Az. They picked up late (multiple calls to get the pick-up), misinformed me while asking the first delivery date and later told me that I can get the stuff within 21 days of my first delivery date, 10 days later. Was supposed to be delivered by July 25, today is July 30 and they don't even have an ETA.
Here is the rant: I made a reservation with them to move my stuff from Fremont to Tucson. Initially while getting the details and finalizing the terms of the move everything was super smooth. Then as the pick-up window came closer (17, 18 June), things weren't great anymore. Had to call a few times to get the pickup confirmed and it was finally picked up at 6 PM on June 18 (after the scheduled time, had to change some other plans, thanks!).
Then I was told that I should give the first delivery date, after 5 days as it will take 5 days for the stuff to reach Tucson, so I gave them June 25. Then TODAY (30 June: 12 days after pickup), I was told that they start scheduling the driver (for delivering my stuff) from the first date available for delivery (i.e June 25, not June 18). So my stuff is probably still in some warehouse and can take anywhere between 1 day to 2 weeks to get to me from today with a "Sorry, we don't have an ETA at the moment." Will post an update on when I get my stuff. Has been a frustrating experience, hope they can do better at clearly communicating of what to expect when finalizing the deal.

My experience has been pretty good. I was sold one scenario for the move but as soon as the actual mover got involved, the whole story changed, which created a bit of controversy and conflict in the beginning. I was told it was going to be a two-day move-out and I had agreed to all sorts of things based on where I live. But then, the mover called me and said, “Absolutely not. It's a single day move. And I'm not coming on Monday. I'm coming on Sunday.” I lived in a residential community that did not allow such commercial conduct on weekends. So it created a problem and I ended up paying a fine. When I called the salesperson at Eagle Moving, he was very happy to transfer the call and never took my call again. So far, 50% of it was terrible and 50% of it was very good. And we have still one whole piece of it remaining to be done. We'll see what happens on that end.

It was very easy to book Eagle Moving Group, and to get my money back. The guy that I talked to was more devastated about it than I was. And as far as taking care of the problem and refunding my money, it took me one phone call. But I thought I had everything set up and it was a go, but it didn't show up. I ended up getting my money so that was fine, and I didn't have to argue over that. But I was very dissatisfied. Eagle did not keep me informed. They wouldn't answer their phone. And they're not a moving company. They are a broker that leases out another moving company to move.
The movers were supposed to be there between 8:00 and noon on Monday. It was close to noon and I had not heard anything. So, I called the dispatch, and they said that their last pickup was taking longer. So, it would be between 1:00 and 5:00. I get that. Things happen. 5:00 came, they weren't there. I called the dispatch and he said, “Let me call and see where they're at and I'll call you back.” Never heard from him again. I had already put a deposit down of 700 and some dollars and had used my credit card. So, I got to get things moving. I called their dispatch the next morning. Nobody answered.
I had another number. I called them and they answered. I talked to another guy there and he was very nice, helpful, and apologetic. He said, “We've never had this happen.” I went ahead and went through another company because I wanted to get my friend moved. Carefree Movers, Inc. was who Eagle had leased out to do the move. They told me they weren't a broker, that they were the actual moving company, which I later found out otherwise. The guy who I talked to said, “Can we reschedule?” I told him, “No, I don't want you guys because obviously, you can't get your head out your butt. And so I want my money back.” “Absolutely, absolutely. But you'll have to take the the dispute off of your credit card for us to refund it.”
I said, “Okay, I'll talk to my credit card company. I'll give you today to refund my money. Tomorrow, the dispute will go back on my credit card.” And he said, “We will refund your money today. I promise you.” I told the credit card company. And they said, “Are you sure you want to do this?” I said, “No. But I guess I'm taking the guy at his word.” “Oh, okay.” So, they did it. And the end of the day, I called my credit card company back and asked them if they got the refund. And they said, “Yes, we have.” The guy was a man of his word.

I specifically asked the rep who would be my carrier and he said, "ABF is going to be your carrier". Everything went as planned and we went with whoever the carrier was. At the last minute, I didn't know there would be a change. When the mover showed up at my door, I asked him, "Are you with ABF?". He said, "No, I'm with Lifetime Movers.” I said, “Okay. Well, it's the last minute so I can’t change anything.” I was a slave of the timeline so I just had to go with whoever came. Now, big parts of my furniture are missing as well as one whole sofa and two bikes. I hope I get them back. Eagle Moving's been trying to help me on the phone.
Lifetime Movers, the company, as soon as there were delays, I tried to look back up. Previously, I just trusted and didn't do any research. I looked up and it's Lifetime Moverz and I didn't check the spelling. It was Z in the end. When I spoke to Eagle Moving folks, they said, “Well, make sure it is Z in the end.” Then I realized the one with Z is FMCSA certified while the one with S is not and that was a red flag on Better Business Bureau. I saw that and I was a little frustrated.
The loading process itself was that they load it for two days. There were a few big pieces of the furniture and I did 90% of the boxes. I left the boxes and all they had to do was itemize them and load them up. They also had to dismantle the furniture and get them in. They did all that fine on day one. They said that another truck was coming at the end of the day. There were two guys who did that. They brought in two smaller trucks and I asked why there were two smaller trucks. The mover said, "This is still pretty good square cubic feet.” Whatever was given us an estimate on the phone was much smaller than they charged me - 600 cubic feet more - and they brought two different trucks and loaded it up. And the second day, they said they'd come at two o'clock, but the second truck didn't come.
The first day, we were waiting and waiting. Then they had to leave and they said they'd come the next day. I'm like, “Fine.” and the next day, they came at 5 pm instead of 2 pm. They loaded up until 10:30 or 11:00 at night time. There were two little kids and it was totally inconvenient. But I'm a very flexible person so that was fine and I even tipped those guys ‘cause they did hard work.
When my things were delivered, it was by a third-party contractor. The first question I asked was “Are you with Lifetime Movers?” And they said, “No. We are a third party contractor.” How it works is they sell it off to other contractors and then redeliver. The guy said, "I’ll take your payment first before we unload the truck.” I said, "Okay" and I paid. After that, they started unloading and I was waiting. One big sofa, a heavy red dolly and a king-sized mattress were missing. I understood that there might be minor damages here and there but my high-end dryer's electronic panel had completely broken off. Also, a key piece for balance of my daughter's bed was broken so the bed became completely unfunctional. We were completely unhappy with Eagle Moving because everything happened through them.
I reached out to the person who picked up because he seemed like a nice guy. His name is Nathan. I told him, “Look, Nathan. I trusted you and this is what has happened. How are the big pieces missing? Broken, I understand that they break, too. But this is ignorance. This is complete ignorance. I'm totally disappointed.” He said he is driving through his trucks in Minneapolis. He also said, “I'm the loading guy. But such big pieces should still be there in the warehouse and I'm going to go look."
On Wednesday, we received a big box and another chest that didn't look like ours. We opened the coverings and we told the delivery guys that those were not ours and to take them back. I'm at a huge loss. I cannot put my whole bed without the headpiece. So I have my mattress on the floor and we are still living on the floor. They also mixed up the sofa seats. So now I have a piece that doesn't even fit what it has in terms of cushion.

Working with their team was good. They moved my car and it got here. I still owe them $5,000 but they won't tell me where my furniture is located. They're not giving me an address where I can locate my stuff. I would like to get a couple things out of my storage unit if possible. Also, I wasn't happy with the cost. They quoted me $7,800 and I ended up paying almost $11,000.

The company that Eagle Moving Group used to subcontract, Apartment Movers Plus, was excellent. Whoever our foreman was did a fantastic job, communicated very well, took great care of our stuff. It all got unloaded. There was nothing broken. So, the subcontractor that they used, I would recommend in a heartbeat as well. The care and attention to our stuff was excellent.
The only thing that was a bummer was the cost that came through. Obviously, once you’ve already signed up with someone and they're in your driveway, you can't say no to the additional cost. The price initially was what had attracted me to the company. It was adjusted multiple times to be much higher than what I was quoted at the beginning. That's a typical thing because people don't realize how much stuff they have until it’s all getting packed up in the truck. But it over tripled in cost from when I first spoke with whoever the intake person was who gave me the original quote. Luckily, they were able to let us put some of the additional cost on a credit card, which helped. But it was a bit of sticker shock.

They did not fully disclose things and the reps I spoke with were arrogant. I did not realize I had a week to void the contract. I thought it was a little longer than that. Also, the amount that they were going to charge for the move was awfully low. It was half of what it was going to be. When I canceled, they refused to refund me anything. Then, they wanted to refund me $500, then $1000.

The only thing is that they left a box here that isn't mine and I don't know what to do with it. I messaged the driver but they never came back to get it. Besides that, everything was fine and communication was good. They told me when they were coming and each stop that they made. They also helped me move stuff in. The confusing part was when they came to where I was departing from. When I did the initial quote, they had me do a checklist. But when the mover came himself, that's when the cost changed. Also, he wasn't prepared for the amount of stuff that I had. So, I filled up as much as I could then got a U-Haul for the rest.

The Eagle folks quoted me $4 a cubic foot. Without consulting me, they subcontracted my job to another company, Ocean Movers, who announced to me on the day of pickup at my father's in Florida that there was money due. My father read me the terms of their paperwork that said, the contract was $4.90 a cubic foot. I then said that's not what I signed a contract for. It got really ugly really fast. Eagle contacted Ocean Movers and the Ocean Movers manager was screaming at me on the phone, telling me that the only reason they took the job is because they were guaranteed $4.90 a cubic foot.
I spoke to Eagle Movers and asked for the manager. They told me the manager wasn't available. I said, “Well, make them available, because I'm going to wait. I'm out a whole lot of additional money than I signed my contract for." I waited on the phone for about 90 minutes and finally hung up. I ended up spending $888 or so more than I anticipated with that move. I was told by the group they subcontracted out to that I had to accept the charges. There were no ifs, ands, buts about it. It was very messy.
Eagle said they were going to refund me $230. I said, “That's a fraction of what I ended up paying in excess charges.” Nobody would explain to me how they came up with that number. Also, nobody would acknowledge that what I paid was exorbitantly more than I was quoted. I was told by this individual on the phone from Eagle Movers that my rate was locked in. And then whomever I spoke to after the fact said, “We never guarantee. I don't know why the first rep said that, but we never guarantee." I would never use them again nor encourage anybody to use them. They really took me for a ride.

We had a wonderful experience. My daughter was alone when the movers arrived to help her so I was concerned about that. But she said they were terrific. The price went up a little bit because there were some things that I had not given them on the moving list. My daughter had said that she forgot to tell me about those things. Please stay away from this company if you want your move to be a positive experience. It's taken me a while to get over what Eagle put me through. It was truly one of the most distressing and upsetting experiences of my life (I'm almost 40). They assigned me to a moving company in Seattle that, I truly believe, was a front for a criminal business. This company essentially stole my belongings for 3 months and threatened legal action after I called to asked about my belongings. When they finally arrived SEVERAL MONTHS LATER, I was met with a full fledged con: they demanded an extra $800 in cash as the moving truck couldn't fit on my street (this is a boldfaced lie) and needed to use a UHaul instead once they arrived in Denver. The owner of the company told me to ** myself when I called and asked about the price.
I called Eagle Moving Group in tears several times. They provided me little to no information and were incredibly hard to get in touch with. They told me time and time again they couldn't help besides calling and asking the moving company about the status of my belongings. I was scared that they would ruin my belongings or not bring them at all.
When they arrived finally, most of my stuff was broken or damaged. My TV was completely shattered (despite the moving company PACKING IT THEMSELVES). Most of the boxes were in abysmal condition. They looked like they had been thrown around, stepped on, smashed, etc. I never heard a follow up about this experience from Eagle Moving Group. No one called to check in. I received no compensation. No support. Nothing.
Please stay away from this company if you are planning on moving. I implore you to take every word of this review as fact - it is - and choose literally any other company to work with. I am honestly surprised they are still in business. Shame on you, Eagle Moving Group. What was supposed to be a positive experience for me moving to a different state turned in to a complete disaster that I am still recovering from many months later. I am surprised the BBB hasn't been contacted yet. It's beyond my comprehension how you run your business by partnering with legitimate criminals. You are guilty by association. Absolutely the worst experience of my life.

If you don't mind using a Broker for your moving company they are great. However, the company they brokered us to was, unprofessional, inept, unprepared, did not have correct boxes for packing, brought no bubble wrap, and very little paper. Knowing they were packing crystal, china, and a kitchen. They broke a piece of crystal because they were not paying attention to what they were doing. They showed up with two people. Later two more came from an ad placed on Craig's list. They sent in one of them to pack the kitchen and she had zero experience. So, if you see On Time Moving show up send them back. Our boxes took three weeks to get to us. OR to OH. Then when we got our stuff the boxes looked like they played football with them.
One that had fragile stuff from our military service around the world the bottom had came out. Several things were broken. We can never replace them and the memories that came with them. They broken other stuff as well, MILs depression glass, crystal and we are not even done unpacking. We have made 20 moves and several were military moves. Believe it or not this is the worst ever in 46 yrs.

Had I known that Eagle Moving was going to sub my move out? I would not have used them. Eagle moved my daughter's family and did a great job. The company my move was subbed out to? Times were broken, my clothes and linens were used to wrap items with. I had to call them because they left a very important item behind. They stated it wasn't on the load sheet. I had to screen shot the load sheet before they would come back for it. On arrival they scratched the wood floor of the residence I moved in to. I still can't find all of my husband's undershirts or my underwear. I filed a complaint with BBB & the sub company stated I should have called them. I did. Waited on hold, they hung up, I left a message, they never called back. My advice to Eagle Moving? Be careful who you sub your business out to. Your company's reputation was egregiously compromised.

This company knew exactly what to do to take the stress of relocating my things off of my shoulders. In addition to being competitively priced, the moving crew was extremely friendly and worked to ensure my belongings reached my new home safely. I was told the movers were charging by weight. However, when they arrived, they were charging by cubic feet. I was triple charged for my move on the spot. I was given misleading information. Lot of items were broken, mishandled, and my movers did not put together the items as promised.

I used this moving group last weekend on the recommendation of my friend. We had a three bedroom apartment - TWO ROOMMATES to storage and me to another apartment. In spite of what could have been a complicated and messy situation, they got it all right! And in the process, we saved money by using one mover instead of numerous movers. They were right on time, fast, and nothing was damaged. They TOOK EXCEPTIONAL CARE with fragile items and helped packed up one of my roommates. And you have to acknowledge the movers giving your maintenance guy the evil eye with you when the elevator was not ready to move into your new place.

These guys were great from the start. The owner came and walked our 2 houses himself to approximate the move. The moving team arrived early with a massive new truck, ample extra boxes, tape, and supplies. The guys had to hike up 41 steps with most of our 3-bedroom house and NEVER A COMPLAINT. The most spectacular thing about these guys was their good character. It was a best move and made more pleasant because of the attitude. The move was FAST and the boxes were put exactly where we needed. These are the only movers I am going to use again.

Price was $1000 more than quoted, so we had to give away belongings to keep it within budget. Our belongings arrived and 75% of the boxes were damaged, our appliances had big dints in the doors and precious keepsakes were damaged. As we unpack we keep finding damages. Never use this company!

I can't inform you just how lucky we are with how Eagle Moving handled every single thing yesterday. They were cautious, efficient, and very polite. I have moved over many times in my short life and this was, by far, the most amount of goods that I have ever make a move. These guys are great and total life savers! We had a dream experience with another moving company, not arrived on a Sunday afternoon move and being late on Monday morning for their "reschedule." We finally gave up on them and called Eagle Moving Group who had come highly recommended from my Aunt. They were able to come that day! They were very friendly and put me at ease, CAME RIGHT WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, and moved us quickly and efficiently and didn't damage anything. They were out of there in no time and put all of our stuff where we like it. They were nice and easy to work with. I'm actually hiring them to move us again because our place didn't work out.

This moving company was great for my long-distance move. All my furniture was wrapped up and arrived in one piece. There was the occasional scuff on things, but that happens with any move. Overall, I would recommend this company.

We hired Eagle Moving Group because the apartment building we were moving in to had them on a PREFERRED VENDOR LIST. We had a suggestion for another mover, but decided to go with these guys by choice. They were accessible when I called to make the appointment and accommodated a short notice move just 3 days away. They came and moved us today and were great! They were very polite and TOOK GREAT CARE in moving our things. These guys put in a hard day’s work and it's insane how much stuff they carry on their backs. I've never seen movers quite like this. We'll definitely use them again next time we move and recommend them to friends.

This place is a scam. They pulled a bait and switch with my parents. My parents walked them through everything they needed moved. They gave them a quote. Then, when they got there with a truck that was too small for a 3 bedroom house, they doubled the price because they had to keep shuffling things. They didn't tell them this until after the truck was loaded. They were 3 hours late to drop off and were there until after midnight for both the pick up and drop off. AND it was very poor packing. For instance, they put a sound bar unwrapped on top of picture frames. Of course, all the glass on the frames is broke. I have read that their claim process is a nightmare, but I hope to get reimbursed for some of the damaged items. I don't recommend using them.

Eagle Moving Group was the most horrible choice that can be made for getting your things moved. Several weeks prior to our move from LA to TN, the Eagle Moving Group representative/salesman, Nicholas, sold me on everything under the sun at a cost of $5,400.00 with the understanding that we were to be in TN by Saturday night, March 5, 2022. The promises made to me sounded great – their truck would be at my home by 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2022. They hired Dann Moving to do the job, who did not show up until Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. Nicholas promised that they would safely inventory and take pictures of all our things, wrapping and packing all items securely in boxes. They were to shrink wrap items which were not able to be boxed and safely packed. They would bungee such things as garden tools, shovels, rakes, etc., keeping them organized and damage free.
They would carefully blanket and cover furniture. They would carefully package TV’s and safely wrap and securely package stereo equipment, speakers, and such. They would disassemble and reassemble furniture and stage it in the new environment once arrived. They would safely crate the four taxidermied deer heads that I had spent thousands of dollars on in order to safely transport them damage-free. They would securely load all items and furnishings in the truck for a steady, safe , and damage-free trip across country. They would then transport all our items, having them to arrive at the TN destination and safely unload it, reassembled and appropriately staged by Saturday, March 5, 2022 to ensure that we would then be at our new destination that day.
The horror then became evident beginning 2 days before the anticipated arrival time of 8:00 a.m., Friday morning, March 4, 2022. This was when I was contacted through Eagle Moving Group and notified that the $5,400.00 agreement was then to be well in excess of $14,000.00. I was told at that time that I could either cancel the move or pay the fee. After the last minute negotiating, I was granted an increase of only twice the original quoted amount by Nicholas of more than $11,000.00. With only 36 hours prior to the anticipated moving time, I had no choice but to accept their ridiculous increased offer.
Not only did they not arrive at 8:00 a.m. on March 4, 2022, but after the untruthful statements made by their dispatcher, George, over the next days, Dann Moving finally showed up the next night, Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. All the while listening to the dispatcher George that they were showing up within the next brief time – 20 minutes – 45 minutes, on and on, I finally would hear from the driver of Dann Moving telling me that he was on his way in from Missouri. Throughout the waiting period, one of my children, my cancer-surviving wife, and myself – completely blind – began packing as much of things as we could get done prior to their extreme delayed arrival. Their late arrival was only the beginning of the terror they caused.
The driver initially showed up alone in his truck, only to be joined later by 2 extremely incompetent workers of Dann Moving. When these 2 clowns showed up, at least one of them was obviously drugged and unable to comprehend where he was and what he was to do. The driver instructed those two to begin packing and bringing the items to the truck as the driver would load them on the truck. Instantly, the loaded worker stated that they “do not do packing.” From there, it was obvious that these 2 clowns had no intention of straining themselves in any way – carrying a single 3-step stepladder, or a single lightweight aluminum 6-foot ladder, and such single items, one item at a time to the truck. After an hour of watching nothing being accomplished, my cancer-surviving wife and myself began bringing items to the truck to then be loaded.
After witnessing the 2 clowns on my property smoking weed, and by 11:00 p.m., I instructed them to leave the premises and not return. I called Dispatcher George of Eagle Moving who instructed me to call Dann Moving with these explanations. George guaranteed me that a different crew would be showing up at 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning. Remember that by 6:00 p.m. Saturday, our full size freezer and separate refrigerator/freezer had been emptied with all items into ice chests, where they remained out of refrigeration until the final emptying at our TN destination on the following Tuesday night. Again, the truck did not arrive until Sunday afternoon to finish loading our things, which we had then packed as best we could.
After never showing up in TN until Monday evening, March 7, 2022, half of my things were unloaded, with the second half to be completed Tuesday morning, or so they promised. When the truck finally arrived and was opened, it was then revealed how recklessly, and nearly intentionally damaged all our belongings had been treated by them. It was like a scene from the old Sanford and Son TV show. Again, with no explanation given, the second day of unloading was no better. Again, they did not show up until late Tuesday, March 8, 2022 to finish unloading. It was at this time that the complete and utter lack of caring and talent became obvious, as 90% of all our most valuable items and furnishings were damaged, broken, or destroyed beyond the point of repair or sale, of course, excluding our items that never showed up at all.
When we tried asking for financial consideration of their destruction, the Eagle Moving Group, through George, became arrogant, irate, disagreeable and vengeful, giving no consideration for the destruction and terror they caused, and refusing to provide a physical receipt for my full payment, or even an inventory of my items to have been transported. I strenuously urge that no one use Eagle Moving Group or Dann Moving, as they are untruthful, unreliable, incompetent, and vengeful.

These professional movers SAVED MY LIFE in my latest last week move. I had three flights of steep stairs in my old apartment, and the crew simply made those stairs their **. I would have seriously injured myself... I AM SO GLAD I called Eagle moving group. They came up early, completed the whole move under the approximate time, and made tons of jokes while they were breaking their backs moving all my crap, which made me experience a lot better about using beasts of burden rather of doing it myself. I can't believe how powerful these dudes.

Called to say when they were few minutes away, and arrived promptly at the estimated time. These guys load up my kitchen singing the whole time, and even if you are moving, who can be unhappy when listening to a good voice hum a tune? IT WAS LOVELY. They made the entire difficult move not seem like difficult at all through their EXPERTISE AND POLITENESS. They even offered to help me pack my storage room more securely to make sure I could fit as much as feasible inside. It finish-up being a little more than the quote, but that's only because a few items doesn't, fit in the elevator and took a bit prolonged to take down the stairs. Small price to pay to have the ENTIRE MOVE GO WITHOUT A HITCH, and not one thing broken.
