American Van Lines made my state to state move easy. They were very professional and took care of every detail. The quote I was given was the price I paid. No surprises. The drivers were prompt, professional, and took great care in packing my household. I highly recommend this company and will be using their services again. Exceptional customer service at a great price!

Your driver and crew were top notch. Hard working, reliable, and thorough.

There was poor communication between the driver and the company. The driver called us the night before he was to arrive. The company called us after the driver had already arrived and told us the driver would be arriving sometime that day. There was an ice storm the day prior and we had no time to clear our driveway in advance of his arrival since we were only informed at a late hour the night before. The driver complained to us that we were causing an unsafe environment for him and his crew since the driveway was icey. If someone had given us better notice of when to expect him we could have cleared the driveway before the truck arrived.

Everyone was very helpful and efficient from FL packers to the men who delivered my possessions to MA.. Move went as scheduled, cost was as estimated. I would definitely recommend American Van Lines to anyone looking for movers.

It's not the first time I've used American Van Lines services on several occasions for relocations/moves. I have always been very happy and content with the service. The one time I had to use another company since American Van Lines was not available, I was very sorry I did. The service from this other company was so bad and nowhere near the excellence of service that American Van Lines has always provided. This time around was no different! These guys were awesome, worked so hard to make every part of the move a great experience. I would recommend this company to anyone in a heartbeat.

Although my quote was based on three men only two were on the job. However the move was completed efficiently with the two movers. I forgot to specify that the job needed to be completed before 5 pm due to condo restrictions. I recommend that this should be automatically asked by the estimator when booking the job to avoid issues.

The crew was personable and pleasant. They did a great job and made every effort to take care of our belongings.

There are a lot of decisions to make when moving and I have some that I regret-- picking American Van Lines as our mover is not one of them! The movers were all polite, professional, efficient and handled our belongings with care. The house was packed on one day and arrived bright and early the next day - almost 500 miles away.

From the time our personal effects were picked up in Florida and delivered to us in California I could not have asked for a more professional job to be done. The driver and his assistant were A-1, very polite and courteous. Delivery was great and I could not believe No Damage to any of our pieces (Art & Glassware). Also the timing was perfect on both ends. ** in sales was great and very helpful. We have moved on a few long distance moves and had nothing but claims and problems!!! The men who came to load were there when I wanted them to be and were professional and courteous. The same driver, and a different helper, arrived ahead of schedule and were excellent to work with. Not a single broken item either! My only cavils regarding the entire process had to do with information regarding scheduling that was not relayed within your company and a small glitch concerning crediting my deposit properly. But I gave all of this information to the gentleman who called me today. Otherwise: Thank You!

The crew was very professional. They knew how to wrap everything perfecting. They took the time to make sure their work was done correctly. Any questions we had were answered promptly. We felt reassured that our furniture was in good save hands.

Was bothered by one of your movers constantly talking about a tip. Was also confused by the reluctance to accept credit card over cash. Outside of the above the guys did a good job and I would use your company again.

Overall we had a great experience with the moving team. We were a little frustrated with the timing details. This was an elderly person and a little nerve racking for her. We did miss one numbered box, but probably because the numbers fell off in shipment. Thank you for the great staff and help.

My move went relatively smoothly considering that the pick up site was down a country road. The driver was very courteous. Everything arrived in Tempe in good shape with no problems. I used American Van Lines for a recent move and did in and out of storage. They were excellent! Everything was perfect!

My moving experience was excellent. The 3 men were extremely polite, did as I asked plus extras. I had bags of moving items in my car, they immediately took them out & carried them upstairs for me. I left the new home for 15 minutes, forgetting to tell them that I had bought sliders to put under the legs of the furniture so as not to scratch the wood floors. These men took it upon themselves to find the bag of sliders & attach them. They were very careful not to scratch walls nor break anything. I highly recommend American Van Lines if all their staff are like the 3 that served me.

You hear so many bad reviews about moving companies, so, of course, I was nervous about my move. I called other companies and they were not as accommodating as American Van Lines, who was willing to come to my house after normal business hours when I work, and give me a written quote for my move. The representative who came out was courteous, knowledgeable and on time! I called him several times after we meet. He was always professional and answered all my questions.

Excellent job done in a timely fashion. The movers took great care with my belongings. Helped continued beyond the road as they assisted in placing furniture in the requested places. Recommend MBM to all my friends.

I really enjoy mbm American vanlines because they take pride in what they do and very polite to the customer. I have use this company three times for moving my personal things. I keep their card in my purse at all time because I never know when I may need them. I like that they break the furniture down and reset it back up in the place where you may want your furniture.

I can say truthfully that the 3 men that moved me were the best I have ever had in my moving experience. They worked really hard and fast, and handled everything I had to move with care. They worked hard to keep to the amount I had been quoted. You need to keep them.

Despite a couple of challenging days that mother nature threw at us, everything arrived intact with no damage whatsoever. This included an ice storm at the pickup site, and sub-zero temperatures and snow at the destination. The moving truck did break down a couple of hours away from the destination, but I blame that on the weather and they worked tirelessly to get it repaired and were here early the next morning. Thanks guys.

I have moved over 7 times in my adult life and ** and his brother and best friend were the best I have ever work with. They were very professional and hard working. I would highly recommend American Van lines and especially ** and his team. ** the move coordinator was awesome as well and very professional.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! The moving company showed up a day later than the original 3 day window with the wrong size truck. They had a full inventory list which matched what we had but the weight was about 12,000 pounds off from our original weight quote from **. The movers told us to rent a truck and drive ourselves with the rest of the load as their truck only held 8000 pounds and they had to leave room for another 1000 load they had contracted already. Since we had closed on our home a day prior and were already late moving out we had no other option. They also charged us an additional $300 cash to help load this truck but were working soooo slowly my boyfriend and I wound up doing the majority of the work.

They have violated every so-called agreement, yet will not give me my property unless I pay them 24 hrs. before they deliver my things. They begged & harassed me for my business...estimate way off...had to get a bigger truck. Even after I agreed to allow them to come 3 days earlier, the dispatcher called me & yelled at me, saying I was holding up the movers because I was not all packed up. Yet the movers had not begun to move my piano, living room or bedroom furniture. I have been trying to get my belongings for two weeks. I have no idea if I will ever see my property. I gave them 40% down & was told upon delivery to pay balance. Now, they say they won't give me my property unless I pay in advance 24 hrs. Yet, I don't know where my things are???

We hired American Van Lines to move our offices back in August 2014. They accommodated our Saturday move. They were there when they said they were going to be there. The guys were very easy to get along with and they moved our offices with care. I think they were very professional as a whole company from their customer service side of it, all the way down to the guys on the truck that did the actual move.

I am very happy that I received a call from Sara and Tamikia from the offices at American Van Lines to tell me they located a piece of furniture that I had thought the driver lost. They will be delivering it back to me. It was from my mom who recently passed away and was very sentimental to me and I was very upset that it wasn't here with my delivery but after some long hours on their part they went far beyond what most companies would do and tracked it down. I am now a happy camper!! A lot of what I was upset with was from the driver who now is no longer there and it seems to me that this company listens to their clients and I am very impressed with what they all did. We wanted to look for a company that not only met a budget but would be responsible for moving out of state with no gimmicks. I was very happy with the service not only from the customer service and the dispatch, but also from the actual movers that come to our house. They were courteous and made sure that all was well taken care of. We wanted to make sure that the items would be delivered in a week window and the timing was met. We are very happy we made this choice and if it were ever to happen again, I would use this company again in a heartbeat.

I do 4 TOY DRIVES a year for kids battling cancer and American Van Lines has always been there for me to help delivery the toys to the hospitals. They are always on time and always willing to help. The movers in Florida were very quick and professional; they packed up my apartment in less than 4 hours. Given that I was moving around July 4 weekend and there was a possibility of a delay, American Van Lines had the wherewithal to contact one of their partner moving companies in Illinois ahead of time. Fortunately, that company was able to grab my stuff in Florida and move it to Illinois. Those movers arrived to IL even before I did. American Van Lines paid for my things to be held in storage until I arrived.

I found that Aldo (the team leader) was absolutely great. I have no complaints. His team worked together smoothly and although moving is a very stressful experience, I found that Aldo and his team made my experience not only easy but in some cases, a "fun" experience. I hired American Van Lines to pack and move from Miami to Denver. They offered the best price but it was not only the price but the packing crew was very good. I only had one broken item and the driver called to tell me about that which I thought was very considerate. My household items arrived between their estimated time of arrival.
