Nothing but excellent. After getting several quotes, it was a very easy decision to do business with Allied. Everybody was very professional from quote to drivers. I have been moved several times around the world and this one was the best. I would recommend their services anytime to anybody. Thank you.

Driver and support staff was great. Very courteous and professional. Kept in touch with details the entire time. The move was a tough one. Large load. Moving is always a pain and stressful. Hoping all goes well. They took a lot of the stress out of the picture. Would recommend this group to anyone moving short or long distances.

I paid based on an estimate of 13,000 pounds. My contract stated that it would be adjusted down if I did not have that much weight. The final weigh in came in at 10,000 pounds. They have yet to send me a refund for the additional monies I have spent. They said it was being audited, but that was over three months now.

Our estimator miscalculated our weight for our direct ship. Now it is broken in 2 shipments. They have now stored and handled our belongings no less than 4 time on the first load alone. They missed the first delivery date by 5 days. We are suffering the consequences for their mistake. We will be without the other half our belongings for more than a month if their new estimate on delivery time is accurate. Some of the belongings stored waiting on delivery have been broken and damaged according to the driver who picked up the first load. This includes high value items damaged so bad he would not load them. I understand mistakes happen and are not unreasonable people who would have listened and worked through the issues. The deception and lack of communications is unprofessional. They have been paid in full and now do not have the ability to schedule delivery according to the contract.

When the movers were unloading our items one of the movers got cocky and smashed a box into our queen bed headboard. He said he was "sorry" and told us to fill out a claim form. The form wants the declared value but the manifest cannot be read. Now we have a broken headboard and cannot get it replaced. Other things were broken in boxes and marked Fragile, but these labels were ignored. Do NOT hire this moving company (Carey)!

I made the move from Texas to Wyoming in late August of 2024. Easy and no stress. Estimate was on point. They did it all. Packing and moving. On time and went above and beyond. I would use them again and recommend their services. Friendly and knowledgeable. Did a great job!

The initial steps were pretty good with the quote and estimate, but I was initially told the Accessories fee would be taken off of my bill and it never was. This was a $400 charge. They shouldn’t promise to revise a bill or charge if they can’t live up to that. My delivery date was also delayed, which wasn’t as planned. And the day of delivery, my furniture was late and got delivered way at the end of the day at 3:30pm.

I had a very smooth experience with all of the Allied people from start to finish! From the initial consultation to getting free used boxes from the warehouse to the loading and delivery and unloading, it was a really great experience! They were helpful, polite and very capable! Nothing was misplaced or damaged! I would highly recommend them to anyone moving out of state!

Allied provided a detailed and competitive bid for pick up, storage for approximately 20 days and delivery of items 550 miles away. Movers at both ends were prompt packed a truck in 5 hours and unloaded in 3 hours. Crew chief at both ends were polite and efficient and crews worked diligently. Some boxes upon arrival were more beat up than expected, nonetheless all items arrived in good condition. Our move coordinator Sydney ** was particularly helpful in keeping us informed of timing of arrival, contracts and costs.

From start to finish our experience with Allied was terrific! We were treated with respect and kept in the loop at every level. The people who packed, the team who loaded and unloaded the truck, and the driver were all professional and pleasant. We had zero ‘lost’ property and no damage. Moving is stressful but this one was easy. If we ever move again, we’d choose Allied.

Couldn't have had a more positive experience. Driver was super friendly and the move went very smoothly and quick. Came out in-person to give an accurate quote and it was much better than other moving companies that I got quotes from. I was also given lots of updates during the moving process to know when to expect the shipment.

The move consultant, Jay **, was completely unprofessional.
2. Many last moment surprises, which was extremely a burden for my family.
3. Missing pick up and delivery window from the initial processed estimate.
4. Not asking/informing anything about packing and notifying customer at the last moment.
The move coordinator Beth **, missed the loading date and did not even care to inform the customer. The person came for packing was unwilling to pack multiple things, while I told the move coordinator multiple times that we are going to take care of our clothes only. All other packing was supposed to be done by Allied. Overall, our experience is very bad and I think this is the worst level of professionalism from a moving company. You made the last few days of our old address and two weeks of our new address stays a lot more stressful.

We would not recommend using Coleman/Allied Van Lines. We had 5 items completely lost and thousand of dollars worth of damage to other belongings during our interstate move. We were not told that our items would be loaded in a truck, unloaded, and then loaded again into a different truck before being driven to the final location. On arrival the majority of boxes had significant damage to them and looked like they had been handled carelessly throughout the whole process. We are starting the claims process right now so hopefully this improves our view of the company.

Pre-arrival text from Fabian. I called back to let him know I would be a little late and they were very accommodating. Truly white glove service, shoe covers in the house, gloved hands, no dolly used in the house everything hang carried and all trash removed. Furniture place exactly as requested.

I will start with what went right -- absolutely nothing. We were told the belongings would be loaded onto a truck after being well wrapped and then driven to our new home. Everything was loaded into small box trucks, definitely not wrapped, taken to a warehouse, unloaded, and then reloaded onto a large truck. Before leaving our home, 5 boxes of china and fragile kitchen items were dropped off of the back of the truck and crushed. To date, we still don't have our dining table, golf clubs, two entire beds, many framed items that the movers packed, and various other things. I have moved all over the world and this country and never have I dealt with such sheer incompetence.

Absolutely can't say enough about the great job done by Ty and his crew. Would recommend them to anyone. Easy to work with and careful with all our belongings. If you are looking to move these are the people to use. The total cost was much less than the estimate for the move. Again we would use them again for a move.

Not very conscientious. Sales always talks a good game, the movers don’t live up to expectations. At times it felt like apes were handling my furniture. Broken items, dirty fingerprints on upholstered items. Scratched 75 TV I paid extra to be properly boxed which wasn’t! Rolling dirty dolly up and down brand new carpet without properly covering. Gouged leather chair and broke the leg, broken file cabinet. Newly painted walls were trashed and wood frame had chunk taken out of it. Driver was disrespectful to the crew. I’ve moved a number of times. I used Allied against my better judgment the 2nd time. Should never have done it to save 1k. They did over that in damages.

Terrible. Allied lied about the weight of our shipment so they wouldn’t have to pay the drivers fairly so no one would pick our shipment up and it was a week late. Poor communication. Will never use or recommend. Driver was great and the unloaders did a good job.

My move went smoothly. They packed everything in just a few hours and I had my stuff delivered within a week. I’ve opened all of my boxes and everything was packed well, no damages or items missing! Same movers that packed me also delivered. Both the pick and and delivery were fast!

We moved from Florida to Texas. Allied loaded our furniture on June 13th and we received them only 11 days later. We packed all our little things in boxes and they packed big furniture such as bed, armoire etc. Kids' armoire, kids' bookshelves, kids' mattress and wood book shelves have been packed with blanket by movers and damaged. I took all the pictures. My daughter personalized her items and can not use them anymore. She was disappointed. We paid 5000$ and we received damaged furniture in our new home. Would you like to be in that same situation? The driver reported the fault on us by telling us that it was our fault as our furniture were not properly assembled originally by ourself.

Our experience with Allied has been horrible. We moved from Charleston, SC to the Washington DC area. Our belongings were picked up on a Thursday and we were given a delivery window of the following Monday-Friday. It is now Saturday and we have not received our belongings. To make matters worse, no one can tell us when our property will be delivered. Now that it is the weekend, no one will answer or return our calls. My husband and I are supposed to start our new jobs on Monday, but we don't have any of the clothing or items that we need and we'll likely have to take time off from our new jobs to accommodate the van line. This has been an awful experience.

My experience in Friday Harbor was very good. The crew was professional, cordial and hardworking. I was impressed with the care they took with our goods. The experience In Santa Ynez was a huge disappointment. Charlie was antagonistic, argumentative and difficult to work with. The rest of the crew, including his son, would have been ok but followed his lead. When I offered to order sandwiches for them, Charlie gruffly said we would talk about it later. An hour or so later I offered again and showed him the menu, he sneered at it (it is a very good and popular lunch place). Later, I asked Charlie's son if he and the others would like to order since Charlie was not interested. His son politely declined although he was hungry. Every step of the way Charlie was difficult. When it came time to sign off on the paperwork, he said just sign everything is here. That is unacceptable, however I did just that to get rid of him. I know he is one of your trusted employees so I was not worried about signing. It was just a miserable day.

Mattress was delivered by David and Emmanuel this morning. They were very courteous, friendly and helpful. They carried a very heavy king mattress up 1 flight of stairs. There were several other items that had to be carried to another part of the house. We were very satisfied with the delivery.

The people in Fife loaded things In an awkward and overloaded condition. As per the damage report, they loaded heavy items onto a work bench and flattened the casters and bent the legs, fortunately the boxes they crushed by loading heavy items on top and light weight items on the bottom didn’t destroy anything.

Allied was the 3rd Co. we requested a Quote from. Their affiliate in the St Augustine, Fl. area is "Coleman Worldwide Moving". The experience we had was HORRIBLE! My normally calm wife kicked the "Relocation Consultant", Steven **, out of our home. He was the most Rude & Obnoxious person we have ever dealt with. Every question we asked he took as a personal insult & refused to discuss their requirements but instead dictated what he expected us to do with no explanations. He insisted and wanted a moving date now, told him we haven't even bought a home yet up in Michigan but that hopefully that moving date would be June or July & would let him know more after this weekend because we were going up to hopefully find something. That wasn't good enough? My wife called both Allied & Coleman moving immediately after we got him out of the house, Coleman told us they would send someone else out? Never heard back as of this morning? We recommend you stay away from Coleman Moving!

I selected Allied because of their ratings. Obviously not this branch. Many of my items were handled with complete incompetence and disregard for their protection. A large, expensive ceramic wall decor wasn’t wrapped at all, was put in a box with a planter and the packers trash. Broken. A large, mid expensive century modern clock was wrapped in paper, no box and was bent and mangled. An ornate beveled mirror was also just wrapped in paper, no box. Broken. An extremely expensive China cabinet was pried apart where it was nailed together splitting the wood. It had NEVER been dismantled before even when shipped from Portugal. It should have never been taken apart!!! A sea sponge was broken in two and pushed down into a vase so it would fit in the vase and they wouldn’t have to wrap and protect it properly. I’m missing the stainless steel base to my fire pit and my dolly. I could go on and on but it just upsets me too much.

My initial experience with Coleman World Wide Moving was very positive. Beth ** was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. The same is true for the Muhoguney Felder, the move coordinator. However, the actual move experience was a disaster. From insufficient protection for my furniture, other household items, and the house, to insufficient labor for the job. I had to demand additional workers; only 1 was provided for a 3 person job. I repeatedly requested adequate furniture protection to prevent damage and was told each time, “that is what your damage claim and moving insurance is for.”
The damages to my furniture and other items at delivery is the worst I ever experienced from multiple household moves. I served over 22 years in the military and moved many times, including overseas, and this move with Allied Van Lines and Coleman Worldwide Moving is far and away at the bottom of them all; it was awful. My belief is Dmitrii, the lead/driver for my move, who was very obstinate and overly focused on how much he would benefit from limiting the necessary labor, will damage the Allied Van Lines brand as long as he works for Allied.
See the attached photos for a few examples of preventable damages that would have been avoided if proper protection had been provided. The indifference he displayed while packing my possessions in the truck was negligent and caused the damage shown in the attached photos. When asked to provide protection to the floors of the house, Dimitrii rolled his eyes, then put down protection that he not only did not use, but was not placed to cover either entrance used for moving furniture. Never have I experienced such total disregard for my possessions and completely unprofessional conduct while moving.

I recently moved from Franklin, TN to Mason City, IA. The communication between the Allied office was excellent, but the crew doing the work was questionable. My load was jammed into the truck with items even being strapped to the outside of the truck. Items that should have been blanket-wrapped weren’t to make more room on the truck and were damaged. When the delivery was made I asked for the paperwork to check-off items received, I was told that it was submitted the day before delivery so the driver would be paid earlier. My acceptance signature was forged. I would not even give this company one star, but zero stars wasn’t an option. Items were placed in the wrong rooms, so I had to move them to the correct one, etc. I received nowhere near what I paid for.

Jennifer ** was my primary contact, and it’s because of her that I will not recommended your services. While my load amount and dates were changed, Jennifer failed to answer direct question regarding minimum load costs, then she proceeded to keep me at a 5000 lb minimum when I was clearly far below 2000lbs. Then she said her boss let her discount it, and she charged me less than originally communicated, but again, since she never clearly provided that amount, I can’t say it was a discount. Many, many emails later, I quit asking. She helped to create the nightmare that I feared from the beginning with a moving company.

I have moved with Allied several times. I chose them because in the past each time was a good move and all went well. This move did not go well. I was not estimated properly and had to pay 25% more than was charged. I cannot see how the packing charge was an extra $2000.00. I can to some extent see the charge for weight. I was not given any option but to pay the amount charged. I was told by the agent "sorry" I was wrong on estimate of your needs. That is far from being ok when you are 25% off in pricing. There was also damage to furniture. I have not unpacked all boxes so I am waiting until I have an updated list. Also those unloading the furniture damaged the house as they brought items in. I will have to paint the entire entrance to the new home, due to their lack of care.

The move with Allied Coleman went extremely well. The packing team in Florida did an excellent job and finished early. The driver, Frank, was on time at Florida and Texas. The loading and unloading crews were professional and completed their tasks flawlessly and early. The support staff at Coleman American kept in contact with me and kept me informed of the status of the move from start to finish. I am about one third finished unpacking and I have found only one ceramic item with a chip. I would use Allied Coleman if I ever moved again.

So here is how the scam works, they let you go through in painstaking detail exactly what you are moving, you give exact measurements. They give a low-ball estimate of the cubic feet and then send a different company to pick up your things. We booked through Allied but they sent Arena Van Lines who then give you the real cubic ft and charge for ~30% more than you were quoted. They say the tools they have to estimate are flawed and basically "too bad". I typically tend to just not review such negative experiences but this one was so blatantly criminal that I hope I prevent just one person from experiencing the same by thinking twice about using this company.

After a phone call to Morse Moving, a front line worker, Eileen **, did a walk-through of my home. She was very personable and knowledgeable. We also had contact with Norma ** at scheduling. She was also very easy to work with. We had 3 gentlemen from Morse Moving (John D.,Eric K.,and Jerry H) on 3/4/24 move our largest items. They were friendly, professional, and fast but careful workers. They made sure the items were placed where we wanted them and never had a problem with us making a change. I would highly recommend Morse Moving and Storage.

Delayed delivery, Broken bed leg, torn couch fabric, multiple scratches on the furniture, loss of screws of furniture, didn’t assemble the furniture although they did assemble on the other side. If you are gonna spend so much money for moving then go for some reliable company. These people are not professionals.

I am so shocked at the amount you need to pay with the horrible moving service provided. Upon arrival my items were being placed on the truck without being tagged. The workers were rude being that I made a complaint. Also, upon arrival if my items, majority of boxes were smashed, both my TVs were damaged and cracked. I now have to purchase new tvs, because I don’t have any. My dishes were broken. I swear they were just slamming my boxes around. This has never happened to me. I will never be using Coleman again and will not make any referrals.

I had 2 movers from Coleman "wrap" and move my items. I packed all household goods. However, most of the larger pieces they were responsible for arrived broken or severely damaged (bed frame, mattress, desk, piano). They didn't remove desk or piano legs, they *removed* my mattress cover, and the mattress arrived crushed and stained, my bed frame is broken, and all 4 legs broke off my desk. The movers in Houston said they were appalled, tried to rewrap many other items that Nashville didn't do (i.e. tables, glass tops, and re-wrapped my mattress) upon arrival to TX. I haven't heard back from the Claims Dept in a week, and I'd never use Allied again -- and certainly not if employees exhibit a complete lack of knowledge and unprofessionalism like the Nashville crew (they were young, immature, and just not intelligent or self-aware on their main objective-to actually pack and move my belongings safely).
The only possible saving grace is if all my items get replaced promptly, or I will not use or recommend Coleman Allied again. Very dissatisfied. Even the Allied-TX crew said the Nashville warehouse/crew is widely known to be dissatisfactory at best, and "they'll hire anybody even if they don't know what they're doing." My Samsung cordless vacuum was stolen, and my piano arrived broken. What a disaster company our of Nashville, with horrible service.

When our possessions arrived the movers damaged our new home in several places. An archway they failed to pad and protect; broke and cracked several kitchen tiles then piled boxes on top of them to hide what they had done, they did not put anything down to protect the flooring from their hand trucks; broke molding on the front door. Worse of all, our belongings had to be stored for several weeks between pickup in SC and delivery in NC.
During that time about 25 packing boxes of our most valuable antique possessions were STOLEN!!! Family heirlooms. Crystal dishes, hand painted original serving dishes from Europe, heirlooms from Ireland, a complete set of Waterford Crystal dinner dishes and glasses and wine goblets. And much more. Totally irreplaceable!!! An entire chest of my wife’s jewelry which was packed & hidden among brand new matching towels and told the movers to load that box in our private truck, but they didn’t. When I discovered what they had done, they told me it was too far packed in the truck to get it back out.
The crew who delivered our belongings also broke the legs and one side off an antique dressing table, damaged our dining table, damaged our hospital's bed, and more. It has been a disaster for us. Then to top it all off the driver REFUSED to give me a copy of the delivery list. I believe we would have been better off to have rented a big U-Haul and paid some people on the street to load our things than to put our belongings in the hands of Allied Movers. My wife submitted the first claim within 24 hours concerning the damages to our house as they require, now they claim they never got it. Big surprise there!

The team was both friendly and efficient during the move. I would definitely opt for Allied again for any future relocations. The crew kept me well-informed about the pickup and delivery of the truck. The agent who provided the estimate was highly efficient, addressing all my questions and providing a detailed estimate before concluding the visit to my apartment.

The moving process with Allied-Coleman was made simple with the help of my assigned Sales Consultant, Manny, and my Move Coordinator, Carmeasha. Whenever I had questions, they were prompt with giving me an answer and explaining my options. In my particular move, my items were moved into storage units, so I haven’t yet inspected the state of all of my moved items - which are in boxes or crates - so I might have additional feedback upon opening them, but overall all parties worked with professionalism from what I could see. So far, I have been impressed, and if I do learn later I have an issue with an item being damaged - my move coordinator stated I am able to file a claim up to 9 months after the move date.

Moved from FL to NC. From the beginning, the staff were just wonderful. Had my stuff in their storage for more than a month and was a bit worried but they were there to help and keep me updated so I was really thankful. Arrived on time in both places so didn’t kept me waiting. The guys were courteous and careful with the things being moved so was relieved with that. Will surely recommend.

We are very pleased with Allied Moving. The movers were kind, respectful, had a great sense of humor and really worked hard. Put boxes where I asked them to and put our beds and dressers together before they left. It was so nice to get our furniture before Christmas, it made it so much less stressful.

The crew is very friendly and efficient with the move. I would choose Allied again for a move. The crew kept me in the loop with pick up and delivery of the truck. The agent who did the estimate was very efficient and was there to answer all my questions, and gave me estimate before he left the apartment.

My total experience with Allied/Coleman Plano, Texas office was amazing!!! My driver Ken was the supervisor and staffer for each end of the move. He contacted me to keep me up to date on the move activity and his selection of packers/unpackers was fantastic. Everyone involved was superb. Very courteous and professional. Driver Corey was awesome. Was very pleased with how fast move was completed and scheduled. Very pleased with unpacking and placed in storage. Corey did great. His partner was good as well. Late in arriving but understand long trip and traffic issues. Perhaps picking up other load contributed to lateness. Ryan and Joyce were professional and great customer service. If moving I’ll consider and use your services again. Cost was very good. I personally think it would have been better to load it on one truck, my items were taken to a warehouse and reloaded onto another truck. Several items were damaged, when one puts fragile glass on the container why in God's earth would you stack stuff on top of them. They were delivered in a timely manner, but I feel little care was used to make sure items were safe. The driver seemed to be in a hurry. I wanted to pay him after they had unloaded but he said no it had to be on delivery, and the other 2 guys that showed up to help very unprofessional, I know it was hot but they are aware of the weather in FL. For the service I got I feel it was somewhat over priced, had a bad experience in the past with a mover to Florida, so I was hoping this one would be much better, need to work on customer service and treat your client's belongings as you would your own.

The young men that delivered my table were so professional, experienced and careful in their delivery. Great customer service. I’m waiting on a balance of my delivery and I hope I get these two young men again because they were true professionals. I continue to buy furniture from Arhaus because of the quality of the furniture but also they have great customer service

Almost all of my furniture was damaged. I have relocated several times in the past, but this is by far the most damage I have ever experienced. Furniture was crushed, scraped, and torn. Some boxes were also crushed to the point of being split open. Mattresses and box springs were not bagged prior to loading.

Theresa and office staff were great with the coordination and communication. My issue is with the driver and some of the crew. On the day of the pick up the driver, Ronnie, gave me a window of 8am-10am. He arrived at 10am at the wrong address (he transposed the numbers) and the crew didn't arrive until 1015. The first piece of furniture wasn't moved until almost 11am. I was then scolded by the driver about my techniques of wrapping furniture and moving it. I had locked my animals in the bathroom, as was encourage that animals should be out of the way, and almost immediately one of the crew asked to use my bathroom. I said no because I had animals (cats) in there and they would be hard to catch. This did not please the crew and I was told to let them out and they would help catch them because they just need to "grab them by the neck." I said no. Eventually the items were loaded and we headed to the storage unit.
I arrived and waited for 30 minutes, call the driver and received no response. After an hour I got a phone call that his truck had broken down 1 block away from the original pick up point. So about 5 minutes after he left my house. I feel like I could have received a phone call almost immediately after that. I was told pick up from the storage unit most likely wasn't going to happen that day. Theresa then called me in the evening and was not aware the truck had broken down. She then arranged to have a new crew the next morning to pick up my storage items. The new crew arrived Wednesday and they were fantastic. My experience with them redeemed the situation the day before. They were very professional, efficient and nice.
On the day of arrival of items in Colorado, things went smoothly. I did have a discussion with my spouse about where to put something. The driver, Ronnie. then recounted a story of where a handy man called his wife a bitch because she was being difficult about something. Basically indicating that he thought I was being a bitch in the situation. It was not appreciated. Overall there were highs and lows of the whole situation. Thankfully office staff and the second crew were able to prevent the situation from being a complete fail.

My experience with Allied was very positive. The crew from Colorado Springs was right on time. They worked very hard the entire time until they finished packing the truck and were very nice to deal with. I would certainly use them again. When they met me at the other end of the trip they were very skilled in figuring out how to park the large truck in the storage area and they were again very hard working for the entire time it took them to unload the truck and carefully and skillfully pack the contents into the storage space. I was very pleased with their services.

Delivery crew was good but a little rough with some things and were rushing to get items off the truck. Instead of putting boxes in rooms they put everything in the garage for unpacking. Quote from Carey was done rapidly and actual charges were less, based on weight. Cubic footage was much higher than quoted, resulting in extremely 'tight' packing and need to pack some items in driver's cab. Packers (4), including driver at origin were professional and handled all goods with extreme care. Drop off/unloading was done with driver and assistant and they were responsive to needs for room placement of goods and were 2 of the original packers. They were rushed at end/delivery and it appeared like they needed assistance unloading but no complaints from them. They departed, forgetting to leave my furniture dolly and did not review condition of goods, with one item broken (solid Oak coffee table) and another missing (Furniture dolly). Both driver and assistant at end of move were very courteous and appeared to be exhausted. I would highly recommend them because of their positive attitudes and desire to satisfy our demands. Overall, very satisfied with movers and Carey Moving (second time using them). Customer service was great!

Pickup of the load was done quickly. Delivery was done as per the date and time communicated by the driver. The parts for the assembly of one of the bed frame unusable. A claim has been filed. Subsequently a dining table was found to be broken (the broken part was not delivered). I have not received a reply to several phone calls regarding this

Every step was very professional. I seriously had no worries when I had to change my move date almost to almost two weeks earlier. They took particular care of my valuable items. The heat index was 115° in Florida the day of the move. They were troopers. On the delivery end there were a few hiccups that became non issues. The move was Smooth and seamless from Michelle to the moving and packing and delivery people. Great job!

The men responsible for my delivery of several items was handled with the utmost professionalism. They were punctual, communicative, friendly, and extremely careful with my delivery items. We had contact Allied Van movers for a move from Massachusetts to Arizona. We were contacted by Marathon Movers and Raythemover.net. The mover stated they worked for Allied. We were speaking with Mike, and who stated he was the move consultant. We explained that we had our furniture in storage and we didn’t have an exact weight they estimated around 6000 pounds when it went in storage, the consultant came back with 11,500 pounds. We told him that we were not comfortable signing an estimate contract with that amount due to it was closer to 6000 pounds, per the consultant he stated do not worry about what is listed on the contract.
He stated when the furniture was removed from storage that it would be weighed at that point, and we would be issued a refund for any overpayment and a new estimate of service and charges would be given. He assured us that we would not have to be liable for anything over the weight it was a price guaranteed. He stated they were doing this because they needed an exact weight for the shipment and as it was in storage, we were unable to give them an exact wait. Though we gave them the estimated weight of what we were given when it was put into storage. He said, "Don’t worry, this is a guesstimate. It will all be refunded if it’s over."
They charged us $11,977.01. On August 11 they charged our credit card in full but did not pick up the load until August 14. We were never given an updated weight or an updated estimate of services and charges. On August 28 when the shipment finally arrived in Arizona we were told that the actual weight of the shipment was 4640 pounds they overestimated by 6860 pounds.
On that date all we were told is that we would be getting a refund which would be issued through Allied. Finally on September 5. We received an email from Allied’s move coordinator who stated that we would be getting a refund of $1715. That rate was based on their refund of $.25 per pound. We explained that we were charged $1.04 a pound when they initially took the order. We were then told that that was our problem because we signed for it. Even though we explained the move consultant, Mike assured us that it would be weighed and we would be notified prior to shipping,
I have filed a grievance with the Department of Transportation for price gouging. I do not see how anyone can think by overcharging by 6860 pounds at $1 .04 is reasonable. This is more than we are disgruntled over having to pay for an additional 100 or 200 pounds, at this point they are not concerned at all. They never even bothered to apologize for the extreme difference of what the shipment weighed and what they charged.

Our move was horrid, underestimated the weight significantly, crushed over 100 totes, broke 70 inch TV stand so it’s not useable, missing items, filed a claim 2 weeks ago. Haven’t had a call about it yet. This move cost us about $700 more than expected it would cost and things damaged and missing and no one has any information.

The delivery of my dinning room set was quick and very professional service. The delivery men unpacked and set up my table to my liking. They quickly picked up all the cardboard packaging from the table & chairs. They offered to move my old table out. Very polite and asked if I had any questions. I was very impressed with the service. Only company to come to house to 'see' what I was moving. Except for a few small glitches, The move went very well. Contacting us about dates and times could have gone better. The movers had the wrong delivery address! Actual address was only a few miles different. Changes to items being moved and placement of items in new house did not faze these guys at all.

Load 7/21/2023 - 7/21/2023
Delivery 7/26/2023 - 7/31/2023.
The loading ended up taking 2 days because they underestimated the amount of my belongings. The first load on 7/21/23 was in a 70’ tractor-trailer truck. The second, which extended into an additional load day was in a 30’ box truck. The driver of the first truck (Otto) was phenomenal! He was extremely hard-working, diligent, professional, and he packed the first truck very carefully, as if his own furniture was in it. On 7/22/24, the assigned driver and loader of the second truck (Stanley) finished loading my belongings. Before he left the house he joked that he would probably beat us to New Mexico. My husband and I understood that comment to mean he would be leaving South Carolina synchronous to our departure the next day. The first truck arrived at our house in New Mexico during the specified delivery spread.
Unfortunately, the driver, Otto, could not get up our driveway due to the narrow road, surrounding driveway utility obstructions and sand in the road. Our driveway is approximately 213’ long with an uphill grade of approximately 5% or more. Two movers met Otto at the house from the Albuquerque location to help him move furniture into the house. They planned to walk everything up from the street with dollies. That would have been a grueling feat for all of them. My husband offered to shuttle the load up the driveway with his personal truck. He spent the day shuttling at least 50% of our belongings up to the house.
Other than the driveway issue, the unloading went fairly smoothly with the outcome being a damaged leather couch and a later discovered cracked and split headboard for the guest bed. The couch damage was caused by the packers at the house and not the driver. The packers put tape on my electric leather couch. When the tape was pulled off by the unloaders, the tape pulled off some of the leather, causing a “brushed” look on the couch.
We then waited for the second truck to arrive, assuming it would be contemporaneous to the first truck. That did not happen. On the last day of the date spread given for delivery on the contract (7/31/23), I called the moving company to find out when the rest of my belongings would arrive. It was at that time I found out that my furniture had not even left South Carolina. I was told that the driver of that truck (Stanley) was not authorized to go across state lines and that the company pulled him off the transport.
Then I learned that, unbeknownst to me, my belongings were stored in some unknown warehouse which I never authorized. I asked for the address of the storage location so I could ascertain if it was a temperature-controlled storage facility but I did not get an address. I was only told that it was a military warehouse somewhere in the area. Much later in this scenario, I found out that the storage facility was not temperature controlled. I made several phone calls to the moving company over the next few days to get a date for the second delivery. I was told that they could not “find” a driver. Being extremely frustrated, I called Director Mary ** and voiced my dissatisfactions and was told she would try to prioritize the transport of my belongings. It wasn’t until 8/10/23 that I learned that my items would be picked up from the warehouse that day and the planned delivery date would be 8/14/23.
Then again, for some unbeknownst reason, my belongings were not picked up from the warehouse by the assigned new driver (LeCour) until the next day. The driver later commented that he had a flat tire (not sure if that was on the truck or his personal vehicle) and he was called back to the office to sign some paperwork. LeCour was already behind schedule and my guess is that this delay is why my belongings ended up being tossed into the truck like a pile of garbage.
LeCour finally arrived with the second load of furniture on 8/14/23 in a 30’ box truck. This was fourteen days after the contract delivery date. He said he had to drive more hours than usual to make it to our house by 8/14/23. Again, two other loaders from Albuquerque met LeCour at the house to help with unloading. As the truck was being offloaded at my house on 8/14/23, I noticed several of my items come out of the truck broken, ripped or gauged in some way. I walked up the ramp of the truck and took a photo of my items inside, before the driver told me I was not allowed on the truck for liability reasons.
What I saw and photographed was a huge cluttered pile of my belongings that looked like they were hurled in the truck without any regard for proper organization or due regard for my belongings. I would go as far to say that it appeared to have been thrown in the truck in a destructively malicious way. My expensive dinette wood table was leaning up against the inside of the truck with no padding to prevent friction against the steel truck. The table was not wrapped with any sort of blankets or plastic wrap. When I made mention of this to LeCour he said he had just removed a blanket from the top of it. It didn’t appear so by the photograph I took. One of the Albuquerque movers was just as shocked to see the mess in the truck and the number of broken items resulting from it. He kept saying “I would file a claim for all this stuff.”
Near the end of the unloading, my husband noticed that our coffee table did not come off the truck and asked the driver about it. LeCour dropped his head, shook it and said “It didn’t make it, …it’s pretty much firewood by now.” I asked if that meant it had been broken and he confirmed it was shattered in pieces. I never got the chance to witness the damage to the coffee table myself since LeCour made the decision not to even load it for delivery. LeCour also told me that when he went to load my stuff at the warehouse it looked like a “mountain of mess” inside the facility. He then made the comment “You never want to have your stuff stored in a warehouse” which indicated to me that personal property usually gets sullied or lost inside the structure. LeCour confirmed that the facility was not temperature controlled when I asked about it.
I experienced a lot of anguish through the entire moving process with Coleman Allied. They breached the contract by delivering my goods 14 days late. They couldn’t give me definitive answers on the second delivery for 10 days. They kept telling me that they couldn’t find a driver for my load but when I asked whether any drivers had left the state of South Carolina and moved anyone over state lines since 7/21/23 they did not give me an answer. My guess is that they intended to wait until they could fill a 70’ truck with other moving customers who were moving in our direction, so they didn’t have to lose money on driving a smaller truck with an “overload” on it.
I also had a conversation with LeCour about how the original intended driver of the second load (Stanley) got pulled off the transport by Coleman Allied because he wasn’t certified to cross state lines. LeCour then told me that Stanley should not have been authorized to load my belongings from the house to the truck if that was the case (which he did).
I’m not sure if Stanley loading the truck or any of my complaints about Coleman Allied are violations under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s rules. I can only submit my complaint and wait for an outcome. Any other complaints I can make against Coleman-Allied will be forthcoming to the proper agencies such as the Better Business Bureau. After all the engaged abhorrent actions and malfeasance by this company and their employees, I should receive some compensation.
We are still missing items from the house. The drinking glasses from the kitchen are missing. We are missing a 12’ ladder and we are missing two legs to a television set. One of the headboards for the bed (all wood) was cracked and split. The frame on my large oversized recliner was snapped in half. There were large scratches and abrasions on much of our wood furniture. The material on two kitchen counter stools was ripped off and the metal was indented. They damaged my “all leather” living room couch by putting tape on it. Lamp shades were crushed. A Royal Doulton figurine was broken in pieces, as was another inexpensive figurine that was my favorite. Undoubtedly, the unauthorized storage and excessive moving of my furniture caused more damage to it than a singular move.
I voiced my numerous complaints to a customer service representative (Regina) and asked for a partial refund. Regina said she would send me the claim forms to fill out for the damages incurred. There was no mention of any compensation for their breach of contract or any other compensation for their unscrupulous, unethical actions in this matter.
I did receive a phone call from Regina’s supervisor (Michelle) who works at the Port Royal location the following day. She offered me and my family $75 so we could go out and have dinner on them to alleviate our grievances. I told her to keep the money because that would not be sufficient for the problems I had to endure. I also said I would not be going through the tedious hassle of filing a claim for damaged items to receive $0.60 on the dollar. I was aware that my damaged items would have to be retained by me until someone from the moving company decides to come to the house and evaluate the damages. I was not going to store these items and take up needed space when we already had a rented dumpster on the property to dispose of excessive debris accumulated during the move.
I told Michelle that I was fortunate not to be “dirt poor” and I was opting not to make a damage claim. My expectation was that I should receive substantial compensation for their breach of contract due to the delivery delay and the anxiety that it caused me. I was already aware of how atrociously the Coleman Allied company operates and I imagined I would also have to fight with them over a lengthy claims process. I told Michelle that my only satisfaction would lie in the power of my pen and the negative reviews that I would impose on the company. We left the conversation at that.
I decided to called Michelle on 8/17/23 after learning that moving companies were required to have an arbitration process. I was not able to reach her but I left a message asking her to call me back or send me the information by text or e-mail. As of 8/22/23, I still have not gotten a response to that request. Hopefully, there will be some resolution through filing my complaints with the proper regulating agencies.
Moving out of state is stressful on its own but the extra anxiety this company put me through is totally unacceptable. It’s hard to believe a Worldwide Transportation Company couldn’t find a driver for 18 days. I was also under the impression that they could not store my furniture without my consent. I can only be hopeful that other prospective customers will heed my warnings and take their business elsewhere. If I can prevent someone else from going through what I did, I will have a little bit of satisfaction on my end. Photos will follow or be attached, depending on the submission platform.

The crew that came to my home to load the moving truck had no consideration for my belongings! I followed the instructions the Allied rep that came out and quoted the move as far as packing and labeling boxes. The crew did not pay any attention, boxes marked fragile were on the bottom with heavy boxes on top. They also put heavy boxes inside furniture with glass doors, which broke. They also stacked things on top of my dining table which also broke in half. I’m still in process of unpacking and I’m afraid of how much more will be broken. I would not recommend this company ever!! The only good thing is now that there is an issue my rep is in contact with me.

We do not move a lot so we were nervous about everything. Our sales guy, Brian, really was great. He came to the house, walked us through the process, checked in frequently and when little hiccups came up, he resolved them. The quote was the price. No hidden anything. Was a very nice experience. The guys who actually moved us were terrific. Especially when the unpacking. Very patient as we changed our minds and unpacked the big things so carefully. I can, without a doubt, recommend this company.

However, most of my experience was documented and conveyed to Allied customer service and the local Allied agent, and I’m more than happy to discuss further. In short, my driver lost a few of our items and unnecessary disassemble many of our items. He also refused to reassemble all of the items that he disassembled, and used his minor children to move and reassemble our items.

Our experience with Kenny ** and his crew was excellent from start to finish. They were timely, neat, and professional. They took great care of all of our possessions and I had every confidence that everything would arrive in perfect shape when they pulled out of the driveway the first day. When they arrived the next day, they asked where we would like everything placed. They even set up our beds so we wouldn't have to after a very long day. The entire experience was horrible! I had hoped I had hired a reliable, professional moving company but I am now dealing with the aftermath of utter unacceptable and careless service from loading to unloading. Loading day was a fiasco with a no show crew. Then another arrived several hours later, very open about being upset that they had been pulled from another job. They took many smoke breaks and while we stopped for some time due to heavy rain, they all spent a lot of time talking and then got very hurried as we entered evening hours. Furniture was taken out in all kinds of positions - sideways, flipped upside down and often stacked as many pieces high as they could manage. My window to start was 9-11 am so it was a very long frustrating day, ending around 7pm for a 2 bedroom home.
They explained my load would be removed from the truck they brought, then placed in a warehouse before being moved again onto the delivery truck. As for delivery, I was told Sunday, July 23 between 7-8am. NO ONE SHOWED. I was finally contacted by the driver in the afternoon, saying he would arrive Monday morning. I had to rearrange my schedule and take Monday off because of your company’s issues. And I had left messages with anyone I had contact info with on Sunday and only one person responded just to say the driver “would probably show up.” And reminded me that scheduling was not his area. How very reassuring for a customer paying thousands of dollars!
As for unloading on Monday, the three men were quick, friendly, careful and respectful of all items. But as soon as the door was opened, my stuff was spilled all over behind the bulkhead wall, many items broken. As they continued to unload, the crew was apologetic for whatever had happened and encouraged me to follow through with the claims process. You know it’s not good when they would stop and turn things every which way so I could get photos of all the damage or tell me to have the camera ready as something came off the truck.
I don’t understand how items that I saw leave my home completely wrapped either in blankets or paper would come off the delivery truck with not a shred of wrapping. Is this what happens when it’s offloaded into a warehouse? I also don’t understand why items were not behind the bulkhead and apparently made the 1,000 trip rolling about inside the truck next to moving dollies and other truck items not secured in place. I have many photos, not only of the extensive damage, but also before photos of many furniture pieces as well as pictures of those items wrapped and sitting in the house before they were loaded.
My time is valuable and not only did I have to adjust my schedule when my delivery was delayed a day, I have by now spent about 12-15 hours documenting and reviewing items to file the claim and I continue to find other items with damage. On one hand, I need to finish unpacking so I can see what else might be added to the claim, and on the other hand, I can’t fully set up my home and use my furnishings because they are waiting to be reviewed or are so soiled or damaged that I wouldn’t dare use them. My living room furniture is only a few months old and is beyond dirty with oil, grease, rust and fingerprints. My bedroom set is older but was in pristine condition, now missing chunks of oak and backs falling off.
Based on Allied’s website and the estimator I worked with, I was assured I would be receiving professional, courteous service. I can’t begin to express how upset and disappointed I am with having selected Allied. The claims adjuster won’t be coming to my home for another couple of weeks but in the meantime, I am forced to wait this out. I wish now that I hadn’t given the cashier’s check to the driver but I didn’t want to put him in a bad position. Receiving a couple of follow up phone calls and apologies just isn’t going to resolve this. If potential customers are looking for a moving company in the Pensacola or lower Alabama area, I would steer clear.

I recently moved from a very small town in Western Pennsylvania to a town in North Carolina. In addition to the equivalent of a two-bedroom home, I moved most of a woodworking workshop, a considerable amount of hardwood lumber and an electronics workbench. I did the packing myself prior to arranging the move. The two-man crew arrived as scheduled and had loaded the 200+ boxes, packages, and items within 4 hours. This included moving most of the woodshop items from the basement and furniture from the second story as well as the ground floor. Unloading was similarly efficient.
I have found no evidence of any damage and the crew did an excellent job of organizing things as items were unloaded. My biggest frustration was that I was unable to find WHEN my belongings would be unloaded until the day that things were loaded, making it difficult to schedule other tasks during that time frame. Otherwise, I am quite happy with the crew's performance and with Allied. I recommend them highly.

From beginning to end, my moving experience was extremely disappointing. The packers did a poor job labeling my belongings; 5-10% of the items were received without traceability stickers. They delivered another customer's item to me. The warehouse severely damaged and lost multiple items and boxes. The delivery team completely ruined the surrounding landscape, driveway, and gate at the destination. For spending over $13,000 on a professional moving company, I regret not doing the move myself. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Packing, moving and unloading happened peacefully. Packing guys could be more organized. They packed everything, but did not name many boxes. They could also show more care towards stuff. The unloading guys were very good. Overall would recommend for sure. The coordinator could do better. Hardly contacted me. However, the person subbing for her was awesome.

Allied called the night before scheduled load to say they have no truck. I reminded them that we had a contract and our house was under contract. The next day they arrived with a 24’ instead of the scheduled 45’. This resulted in several pieces of furniture damaged, legs broken off, a gash the full width through the back of the bookcase. The ATV was driven into the piano. It is now 3 weeks after the delivery spread and we have some but not all furniture. Nobody called to explain. The move coordinator does not answer calls or return calls. The delivery crew had no tools, the loading crew had no boxes or bubble wrap.

I am moving from Indiana to New York. Contacted Allied Van Lines to confirm shipment date of 7/25/2023 and cost estimate on 7/14. Allied called later to change estimate timing due to conflict. However, nothing happened at time of estimate. Called both Allied and Coleman office and responses were that no assignment sent out beyond phone called. They contract out our job to Reliable Van & Storage in NJ. Our stuff was stored in their storage for 8 months before they got shipped across the US to Las Vegas. On packing day, after I signed all documents with the foreman, I discovered there were more things they didn't take. So the movers took them and just threw the rugs and tossed items onto the truck because, at that time, they had already put away the ramp and told us that they'd pack them better when they get to the warehouse. I was appalled by how they treated my things at the end, but I had already given them a 5-star rating on paper. At delivery, we received boxes that were not numbered and many numbered boxes that were not "received". Overall, I received more items than the document indicates, which is good, but it meant that not all items were numbered. Sure enough, after I unpacked everything, I found many missing items.
Of course, the claims department said they placed a trace, but nothing came up. She even said that how does she know if those things are truly missing? I was again appalled by that comment. I wasn't even asking for money, I just wanted my things. One of the missing items is an old laptop. I want the stored documents, I don't care about the value of the laptop. Another one is my 100% silk curtains that were custom-made for me. You can't just replace them. Anyhow, they are not paying for any of the missing items, and I suspect they even put in any genuine effort in the search. Most of my furniture had nicks and dents caused by this move, and they just paid a small amount for some of them. One of my oil paintings stuck to the glassine paper, and the other had fallen dried paint pieces. Both show signs of faulty storage conditions.
I specifically asked them if the storage is climate controlled, and they said yes. Obviously, it's not well controlled. Of course, they took no responsibility for the paintings because I packed them, even though there was nothing wrong with my packing. I used glassine paper to cover the paintings like what a professional would do. I would not recommend them to anyone for sure.

I would leave 0 stars if it was an option. From the initial estimate being done over the phone (and as you would assume it was incorrect) to the delayed delivery I would stay far away from this company. And, one of the movers overflowed a toilet while in the home and they are not covering any damages as well. Pitiful service all the way around and I’m shocked they can operate this way and stay in business.

I recently used Allied to move across multiple states. Their movers damaged some of my property worth around $1000. Despite paying for the best insurance, allied refused to refund the damages. The movers filled the paperwork out to hide damages on an expensive item and as a result allied was unwilling to pay for my damaged item. It is my word against the driver/their paperwork and allied sides with the driver.

Our household goods were picked up on May 10th, they were supposed to be delivered on May 16th. Turns out the truck broke down in South Carolina. And we were not notified when that happened, only the evening of the 15th were we notified that they would not be there the next day. Then calling regularly to find out what was going on, our calls were ignored, unanswered and finally the driver let us know that he had the truck fixed, but wait, there is another issue! On Friday the 19th someone finally called after 4pm to say that they transferred the truck to another shop to fix it there. We heard nothing until Tuesday that he would be to our house on Thursday the 25th. Fifteen days after our goods were picked up! And the driver had decided when they were packing our things that we had to pay more money than we were quoted.
So we obviously felt that our contract that we signed is just a suggestion because they can changed what they want, when they want. Also, several of our items were damaged and/or broken. We will be putting a claim in on those soon, a lamp was stuffed into a box, so the neck is broken as well as the ceramic lamp itself is broken. Several pictures had the glass broken in them. We have damage to our brand new dining table as well as other things.
So if you ask me if I would refer your company to someone, the answer would be a resounding NO! We still ended up paying the full amount even though your driver was late. Understanding that the 24th was our timeliness, but they did not arrive until the 25th. So we had to spend A LOT of extra money on things we needed and expected on the day he said. Why they couldn't have gotten another truck, transfer our goods to that truck and been here on time makes no sense to me. Keeping us updated and aware of what was going on would have been the right thing to do. But the way I see it, nothing was done right in this instance.

Move from AL to CT was the worst of 7 moves. We have never had so much broken and damaged furniture and other items. Our damages totaled over $20,000. We cannot get anyone to return our call concerning payment. The movers finished so late at night that many outdoor items were left behind. We were not allowed to move food items that had never been opened. The amount of food we had to give or throw away was appalling. There was no notice that unopened cans and bags of food could not be moved. The packing and loading of the truck were equally bad. Do not use these movers. We would have been much better off paying more for better movers. At least we would have many sentimental items rather than having to throw these things away.

Good communication. Movers professional and careful. Still haven’t unpacked everything. I have someone else’s ironing board and reported it. I am mostly disappointed in the process for replacing a broken piece of glass in a cabinet. Accidents happen but the repair process should not be so burdensome on the customer. We could have taken the cabinet door it to a glass shop and had it fixed within a week. I find your form annoying and having to take and send photos and waiting for some adjuster to show up and verify what the driver had already documented before he left is annoying. We’re left with a cabinet in our great room that has all the charm of a missing tooth. Thank you for the opportunity to give feedback.

Zane was incredible on both ends of my move!! I recommend moving with Reebie, they arrived on time, and our truly professional movers. There are a lot movers you can find on Craigslist and other sites that are not reliable. Reebie movers were fast, reliable and used great care and handling my furniture. I had some fragile glass TV stands and other items that were fragile and they handled it at all.

Other than the driver who I presumed was the person in charge the rest of the crew was, in my opinion as well as my daughter’s and friends who were here helping me, obviously not professional movers.
Although they were friendly and helpful they were not dressed in the uniform of the moving company. One man had trouble keeping his pants up. They should have at least provided their own cooler with bottled water… I agree it was hot but we had to keep getting water for them all day (per their request). They could have been more careful loading the items and boxes into my garage and home…..I’ve had to turn them around from facing the wall just to see what the contents of the boxes were, which leads me to comment on the fact that the packers did not do a great job in at least marking what was in the boxes. My clothing boxes were overly packed and one was fallen apart resulting in all the clothes lying on the bottom of the box. There was some damage to furniture which will be addressed upon further inspection with a claim form… to be continued at a future date.

Items were scheduled for delivery on Monday because of an overbooked truck delivery was canceled. Delivery was rescheduled for Tuesday between 330 and 530. They were a no-show. Family and I went to dinner at 7 PM and received a phone call stating that they were at my property And no one was home. Very disappointing. Upon loading the household goods the loading crew did not arrive with enough boxes and my family was required to pack remaining items. When the truck arrives there was not enough space for the household goods and a second and third truck had to be called for. The household goods on the second and third truck still have not arrived 23 days after departing origin. The expected date keeps changing. My family is very disappointed in the service provide by Allied.

This was a very involved Pick-up AND Delivery. This involved dismantling a large, motorized sectional and replacing with another large, motorized sectional, plus 5-piece coffee table, 2 c tables and large floor lamp. That part was done beautifully - they also were so respectful of our property and wanted to make sure it was set up exactly as we wanted....that it was sitting on the area rug correctly. We had a couch delivered on March 30. Our delivery man went above and beyond. He was courteous and even asked if he should take his shoes off which I really appreciated. Generally it was a good experience; I have issues with the packing and unloading. I was told I could leave pillows and linens in dressers or chests. This was all taken out and packed in boxes. Clothes were laying at the bottom of wardrobes with boxes on top of clothes. One wardrobe had nothing but shoes boxes and a bench, no clothes. In unloading items marked bonus room were to go on the attic but there was at least one bonus room box left in all the rooms and not put upstairs. The guest bed was not put together correctly and if someone laid on it they would have fallen thru to the floor.

As a customer who has moved numerous times my recent experience with Coleman Allied from the estimate to the delivery was top notch and the best ever! The Customer service was prompt and solved all issues with excellent solutions! The driver and his wife were excellent and chose the most energetic, polite, strong, careful teams for pickup and delivery. No issues. And due to an unknown driveway factor, provided a shuttle at delivery w/o charge. I cannot say enough good things about the helpful people who truly understand the tension us movers are experiencing. Wonderful people who are professional all the way! Oh yes, and they wouldn't let me help them with anything! If you are moving, get the best with Coleman. After contacting Allied I informed them that I was selling a second home and would not be available for a pre move quote. I was informed the price could be adjusted when the movers arrived. I contacted Allied to inform them that my moving weight was 2500lbs and not the 4000lbs I was charged. When I asked for an adjustment I was told "The Price Is The Price" and hung up on. The actual movers were fabulous and professional. The office staff...not so much. Almost 5000.00 to move 2500lbs is absurd!!!

Told I would be picked up on Saturday. Did not get pick up until Monday afternoon. Cost me over $600 in lost hotel rooms. Plus more. Very hard to reach someone on Saturday. Completely change all of my travel and temporary housing plans. The people who bought my house had to delay their move. Driver and his son were very professional.

The truck arrived timely. The two movers unpacked carefully and placed the new furniture right where I wanted. The movers also slipped off their shoes each time they entered the house and were Very friendly. The entire experience Couldn’t have been better.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. When paying over $8,000 for a service. I should get $8,000 worth of service. The 10 boxes I packed arrived in good condition with no broken items. The furniture loaded by your company arrived scratched, dented, broken and dismantled irreparably. The refrigerator arrived in about 20 pieces with wires cut and pulled apart. The movers offering me $1,600 with no disposal cost is an insult. My pictures show my refrigerator was not damaged prior to the move. The antique mid-century furniture that had no damages prior to the move was given a $1,000 value. Pictures of the mid-century furniture had no damages prior to the move. The timeframes for communication from the claims department is rude and non-existent at best. I would have better luck using two cans and a string as communication.
I could have hired strangers crossing illegally and given them the keys to my car and trailer to have better luck with my stuff. The representatives who gave us the bid were in touch prior to the claims was great. Once they realized property was damaged they tucked tail and ran. I wouldn’t recommend your company if it was the last moving company. We have moved across the country four times and NEVER have we had so many things damaged. You SUCK!!!!

I used Allied to pack, move, store and deliver household goods from Florida to South Carolina. An expensive table top was not delivered. As we were delivering to a storage unit we had video footage of entire unloading process, showing the table top was not delivered. They said I signed for the load. I did not. They presented a clearly not signed by me document and said it was me. They did not respond to me during investigation and lied to arbitrator about our communications. Stunningly dishonest. You would think the video footage might spur them to correct their mistake. Nope. Apparently keeping their commitments to customers is not a priority here. Keep away from Sirva/BGRS companies.

We would like to thank Allied/Bayshore Moving from Newark, Delaware for the exceptional service they provided and all of the employees who assisted us with our move from NJ to St. Augustine, FL. We first met Billy **who came to our house to provide the estimate for moving all of our belongings. He arrived on time and was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He gave us suggestions on how to handle this big move as well as recommendations on some ways we could save ourselves some money. We obviously got other estimates, but Allied was the best price and we felt most comfortable trusting them with our cross-country move.
When moving day arrived, ( I apologize because I don’t have the driver or helpers names) the driver arrived early and began to prepare and itemized our belongings. Once the other workers arrived they began to load the boxes we had packed as well as they also packed specific items that were prearranged such as beds, mirrors and fragile items in the china cabinet. They loaded a two story house into the truck in under 6 hours. All of these workers were friendly, polite and were hard workers. Since our new home was not completed yet, our belongings had to be stored for approximately just under 2 months. Allied was able to provide storage at their warehouse in Delaware until we were ready to take delivery for a reasonable price.
Prior to move in day, I was contacted by Nila ** (Customer Experience Team) numerous times, who coordinated our move date. She was extremely helpful, friendly and caring understanding how stressful this move was for us. The day prior to move in day, I was contacted by the driver - Luis **. He called me to let me know what time he would be arriving as well as answering any questions I had. Once he arrived the next morning, he was on time and was met by his two assistants Charles and Angelo. We could not have asked for a better crew!! These guys were the BEST!! They were polite, friendly and extremely hard workers who unloaded all of our belongings in just over 4 hours including setting up our 3 beds and kitchen table. Moving was definitely a stressful time but all of the employees who assisted us through this process helped to make this process much easier to manage. We would definitely recommend Allied/Bayshore Moving.

These guys were great! They showed up within the window we were given, took special care of the product they were delivering, and quickly put together our couch. All while remaining respectful of our home. For example: they brought their own long black runner to put down in the entry so as not to track in snow and they even took their shoes off while putting the actual furniture together. The workers were very pleasant, however they had no respect for my belongings. I am a widowed 68 yr. old woman. The boxes are So heavy I cannot move them and they are also piled on top of boxes marked “Fragile”. I Had a box of antique ornaments, clearly marked on all sides. It is at the bottom of a pile of boxes marked “Garage - tools”!!! I am broken hearted at the way things are just tossed into my garage.
They had two days to load and crammed that into one very long day. They also had 2 days to unload and again, only took one day. My belongings are helter skelter, no rhyme or reason where they were put. This is Not the kind of service I was told I would receive. I could have saved a Lot of money going with a different company, but went with Allied because of your reputation. I have broken things and my trundle bed is missing the back piece which makes it useless. How do I get compensated?

They didn’t complete the the delivery as ordered. My wife and contracted coronavirus from my mother who is in an assisted living but was currently in the hospital. I called the moving company as a courtesy to inform them of the situation. My mother sick was not her room for several days, they refused to make the delivery to her appointment in the assisted living area and refunded me the $80.00 dollars for that portion of the delivery. Now it will cost me hundreds of dollars more to complete the move. I had to convince them with to make delivery at my house. My wife stayed in the bedroom as to their request. They were wanting me to pay an extra $3000.00 for storage. Which I refused and that’s why they did ally made the delivery to my house.
This move cost me $7,900.00. There is no doubt in my mind that United Movers took advantage of the situation to make the delivery quicker and easier for them as they ended up making my house a storage unit. They lost portions of furniture and screws as well and my mom's hospital bed which they took apart I wasn’t put together and not sure due to bolts missing I can even put hospital bed back together. Very expensive and important furniture for a 87 year old senior with health problems in assisted living. More to come with this situation with United Movers!!!

We recently moved from MD to UT and contacted multiple moving companies without success. Allied was the only one that gave us quotes/dates and followed through all the way to delivery! From start to finish everyone was very accommodating with communication being airtight and everyone staying in touch every step of the way. We also got our furniture a day before the scheduled "spread dates" and a call after the transaction making sure nothing was damaged or lost! Most companies have gone down hill since 2020 but Allied showed there are still great companies to do business with!

We used Morse Moving when we sold our house and moved to a new location. I first called Morse from a friend recommendation, they were on the spot with all needed to make our move, fast reply, accurate quote, Carl and JJ were fantastic to work with. They handled all request in handling our belongings and kept them safe. Moved all to proper location in our new house. They had the invoice in hand which was correct and continued to ask for our approval. When we ever have to make another move, Morse will be the selection we will use. They have been very good in arrival and delivery of items. Good with communication and all workers are respectful and work diligently. Much better experience than with other moves where the loaders don't have a clue and you have to teach them how to do it. Pick up was a nightmare. Two guys showed and were 1/2 done when another crew showed up and took over. Unpacked one truck and repacked another. Harry was pissed off and taking it out on me. I was already stressed with all that was going on. Couldn't reach Barry and he never got back to me until he wanted payment! Car shipper he recommended was a joke. At the last minute I found a very reputable one. Goods arrived safely and Harry had a much better attitude. He did a fine job and should be commended. 5 stars!!!! Not happy with the PDX end of it. Just hope I never have to move long distance again.

Good service, most employees knew the job well. Only one of them at the delivery in Texas seems not too knowledgeable with what needed to be done. One of the containers was damage and the glass bases were broken. I have one item missing, it is a big wood candle holder about 24 inches high.

I recently utilized Allied for a cross country move that had short notice. The representative who came to my home to discuss the service and review the contents being moved was professional and detailed in the process. The coordinator maintained good communication throughout. Before, during and after the move. The drivers also provided good communication throughout. Kevin came to the house and gave a quote which ended up being very close. He was knowledgeable about the entire process and gave useful tips for packing. Char helped me know the status of the truck and likely delivery date. Herman, the driver, called ahead to let me know when they would arrive. He carefully went over the list to make sure nothing was missing. Two workers from Knoxville came and unloaded and reassembled some items for me. They were friendly, professional, and efficient.

Worst moving experience I ever had even with 20 years in the Marine Corps. You ruined probably over $4,000.00 worth of my possessions. Took 2 days to load because they never came until after noon on both days. Arrived at new address 5 hours after they said they would. Cannot recommend anyone use this service. They lost (delivered items to a different customer) multiple items which they still have not recovered for us. MANY ITEMS GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE!!! Plus they broke our $3,000 dining room table due to incompetent unloaders. 3-Second day load was different driver, different team. Once again wrong size truck (different truck) and driver not given complete information.
4-Delivery was outside contract time.
5-Two members of delivery team got in fist fight in middle of street in front of my house. Blood on drive, on floors inside, and on furniture.
6-Delivery team tracked mud into house.
7-Boxes marked fragile were crushed with heavier items stacked on top.
8-Damage to some furniture
9-I had to pay additional expenses for lodging, boarding, and meals because of additional time required to load, around $300.

This move was a disaster. The agent Abby ** did not visually see what was being moved which is standard practice. Then the driver refused to load my belongings from a storage unit because #1 he saw a spider and #2 his truck was too small because no one did any sort of prerequisite visualization prior to loading. Important packing information was not provided to me prior to loading so there were many extra charges for them to repack a lot of my things. New boxes did not get labeled so once delivered has been a nightmare trying to figure out what’s in what box because when they “repack” your things they basically just put a box inside of a box and charge you for it.
The move had to happen in two trucks and the second truck went missing for about a week. No one could tell me where the hell it was then all of a sudden oh it’s here and going to be delivered the next day. Then when payment time came the agent Abby ** ran $20,000 on my debit card which alerted the fraud department at the bank and they locked my bank account. All in all this move was a terrible experience. The only good thing was that the movers, I mean the guys who actually do all the heavy lifting, literally, were great and couldn’t apologize enough for all the problems. I def will not ever use this company again for anything and I would not suggest anyone else does either.

Excellent service. The packing team, the loading team and the estimator all provided great professional and friendly service. The entire experience from the estimating review, to packing and delivery was worry free. The estimator followed during the whole process. The packing supervisor explained every detail and provided continue updates on completing the packing. The truck driver communicated the exact delivery schedule.

I would never use Allied again. If you are looking for interstate move DO NOT use them. After months of back and forth with Allied, I now know why so many people hate moving companies. They are dishonest. I won’t get into the details of what happened – it’s the same back and forth crap you will see 1,000’s of other people complain about online. Let’s just say that once they have your money your chances of winning a dispute are slim. I think I am just going to get rid of all my stuff if I move again. It’s so expensive, I think I would rather invest in new stuff than place any faith in a moving company. If you are in Florida avoid Best Moving & Storage/Ray the Mover. I ended up speaking with the general manager on the phone – discourteous and unhelpful. As my local mover, they sold the move, took my money and then just pointed the finger at Allied and told me to go work it out with them.

Look up the word debacle and you have the total story from packing to loading to delivery and unloading. Household was packed by Larry, Moe & Curley. Who puts a $2000 King mattress on a 26 ft van last, stand upright across the width of the van and so tight; two of the loaders had to push against it with their backs to get the sliding greasy, oily door down? When the van was opening at our new home in Alexandria, LA the unbagged mattress had wicked water all the way across for 2 feet and it was stained with grease and oil all the way up, while the bagged box springs that were not supposed to be bagged came away high and dry.
Seems the van had stayed at Colemans Transfer for 5 or 6 days waiting for a driver and "somehow" the back sliding door was opened to the elements INSTEAD OF BEING LOCKED WITH A PADLOCK. The footboard to our king sleigh bed had been walked on and broken in 3 or 4 places. Why was the footbed not standing upright with blankets placed around it so it had no chance of getting walked on???
Out of the kindness of their hearts our claim adjuster seemed to think we could buy another $1800 +/- quality king bed and $2000 frame for $2100. We were stuck with accepting their offer because the couch was getting reaaal old on this 71 year old body and my spouse was sleeping on a guest bed. We had other things either missing or broken such as glass lampshades and stand up lamp bases. Because we are just sick and tired of the run around and feet-dragging have decided not to file another claim. It just isn't worth the mental anguish.
The main ingredient I noticed throughout all the phases of our move with the packers, loaders and delivery men was; a lack of supervision, lack of training, lack of caring (wasn't their stuff). One of the packers was so new, she had to be given a pair of scissors (by me) just to break the packing tape. Without supervision she was tasked with packing my spouse's Curio cabinet full of my spouse's Flamingo Collection of which one of a pair of one-of-a-kind Flamingo Vases arrived in 30 or more shards. The same woman packed the kitchen. She thought a 4" plastic Lid was so fragile that she wrapped it by itself and must have thought a teaspoon was a treasure to be packed also by itself. Unbelievable!
I had 5 or 6 very fragile pieces of art that was wrapped in brown wrapping paper that I had the packer write in 3 inch letters; please put in mirror box. When it arrived at my new home, they all were still packed in just the brown paper. Another thing that can only be of one conclusion is the fact that my $200 dolly that had my 250 pound concrete Pelican figure secured to it never made it to my new address but the Pelican did!!

I contracted with Allied for an Express move with a guaranteed delivery date. The original guaranteed date I was very given by the Move Coordinator who came to my residence to give me an estimate never made it onto the paperwork. The written guaranteed delivery date passed and no one could tell me when my delivery would be made. I was in contact with Allied daily. The day my delivery happened, I was given a 20-minute notice before they showed up. Two pieces of furniture were broken and unusable. The pickup date for my car was missed; the move coordinator forgot to file the paperwork. When the driver arrived to pick up the car, I was contacted and asked to meet him. I was in another state by then, so clearly that was not possible. The car arrived 2 weeks late.

Delayed, split move, crushed boxes, upside down boxes, broken items, broken furniture. Pick up was Aug 9, stored until they found a driver, we were not informed, delivery was Aug 19. Driver came back two days later to deliver big screen TV and a picture box he found that was missed! Second shipment was picked up Aug 19, we were not informed until the day before delivery (Aug 24) that it hadn’t even left California! The move is to Florida.

Cindy was very helpful. When my items were going to come late, she went above and beyond to try communicate with the Atlanta local office in order to find a way to for me to receive my items sooner. I really appreciate all the work that Cindy did. Also very fair prices for the moving quote!

The driver was sick (COVID), arrived 2 1/2 hrs late. First crew left. More people came in droves because of lateness. Driver sat in truck; no supervision. Delivery was a day late with new driver. Everything was rushed. Broken furniture and box contents because of poor packing. Unloading ruined some boxes. Furniture not reassembled properly. We’ve moved 18 times over 40 years. Hands down, this was the worst. We will tell anyone who asks to avoid Allied/Coleman.

We have used Allied for all of our residential moves since 2005. This last move will be the last time we use Allied. In June 2022, we contracted for 2 moves from our home in MO: half to SC and half to a new place in MO. We also contracted for help moving donations to the Salvation Army. As can happen, some of our items were damaged during the move to the new place in MO. We filed a small claim for those damaged items.
Our move to SC was much more problematic. The truck arrived at the distribution center in SC, but they did not have the staff to move our items to our home. They told us they could not complete the move on time and would deliver two weeks later. As Allied reps were aware at the time of contract, my husband would be flying down to meet the movers on the contracted dates and could not stay for an additional 2 weeks since he had to get back to MO to meet the other moving team. In addition to expenses for getting down to SC, we paid Allied close to $2000 for the local move in SC. Because of Allied’s failure to perform, we had to hire movers in SC to complete our move.
To date, Allied has not refunded the $2000 nor have they reimbursed us for the cost of hiring our own movers. Also luckily, we had nothing too fragile in the move to SC because the boxes were in terrible shape. Further, Allied DENIED 2 claims for the MO move damage. They denied our claim for a broken TV because Allied claimed they did not pack it (even though they did and we paid for it) and for a torn couch (they claim it was torn before the move-it was not). Allied bases for the denials are codes written on the inventory sheet by the moving team. Codes that happen to indicate EVERY piece of our furniture they moved was either already scratched, badly worn or torn (need I say not true) before they moved them. Countless calls to customer service have gone unanswered. This has truly been so incredibly frustrating and unexpected. I cannot recommend them.

Professional accurate estimate, given by Coleman, the virtual estimate process was easy and seem less. Packing and moving team were awesome. Again professional, hardworking, clean, respectful, honest and nothing damaged or broken or lost. Continuous corporate follow up through the moving process to ensure we were happy with the move. Highly recommended.

I recently had a semi-long distance move. I was shocked when the company sent 60-70 year old men to move my family's large furniture and many boxes. Right away the movers complained about having to move heavy furniture down multiple sets of steps, but this was well known to the company when they sent out a rep for the quote. The guys were overall quite nice, but had complained on multiple occasions about how much stuff we have -- which was embarrassing. They were paid to do the job, so we did not appreciate some of their unprofessional commentary. It was not our fault the company didn't send younger men to help with the arduous move.
However, everything was moved quickly and without any damage. I would use the company again but they need to better assess who they send to help move. If I have heavy furniture that needs to go down many sets of steps, perhaps someone younger would have been better. I left furniture behind because the movers couldn't take it down the steps.

Everyone was friendly, kind and professional. My only suggestion is I wish They had direct contact with the drivers instead of using a random dispatcher. There were no damages to my items and they were very careful to pack everything safely.

Cross-country move from Atlanta, GA to Los Angeles, CA. Movers in GA arrived late, left behind a box on another floor of the building discovered after they left, poor communication with office in Atlanta regarding this issue. I am shipping it myself. Date range of 7/19 to 7/30 for delivery given but movers arrived in CA with no notice (supposed to get at least 24 hours notification). Driver had unprofessional attitude, poor communication. Lost items include dining room table legs, platform bed frame legs, damage included stains on sofa, and mattress, broken high-end lamp base, gouges on bed frame and bookcase. Now without dining table and a creaking and not stable bedframe while waiting for resolution of repair or settlement from Allied and told they can take 120 days. Sent an email to Allied Customer service, never received a response.
