RIP off!!!! DO NOT USE! Were quote $109 a hour. I had basically 2 bedroom home minimal furniture, no living room furniture, a fridge, and a washer and dryer. Somehow they couldn't even fit everything in the truck. Packed my house in 2 75 hours and drive 45 min to meet me at storage, unpacked for a hour. Then charged me over $1000! Tried to say it was 1.5 hours travel because they have to get back to their offices not even 30 min away and $104 in gas! And I still have to go move more stuff because they "couldn't fit" in a huge box truck when I was going to rent a 15ft U-Haul and it would have fit.

Usually I check on companies review before I use them but this time I didn't which I partly blame myself for it. So I went ahead and gave them a call which was about a week in advance. The agent I spoke to sounded so promising so I went ahead and made my deposit of $100. "We will be there on 30th between 3-6pm," he said reassuringly.

The day came, no show and not even a courtesy call from them. So I called them at around 5pm to see if anyone is coming and they told me to hang tight so I waited till 9pm. Still no show and no call. I called again and this time customer service said they can't make it for the day. How? I said and he said it's beyond their control. In a nutshell I am still waiting to get my refund as we speak and they keep saying they would call me back but it has been all lies. No apologies and their customer service sucks when it came to getting my refund. I won't recommend this company to my worst enemy & I told them they would be hearing from my lawyer pretty soon.

We moved across town approximately a month and a half ago. On the day they arrived, many of our items were packed well and put in the truck carefully. We get to our piano, and it all went south from there. They wrapped it haphazardly, even after me mentioning something. Then, as they took it down our apartment complex stairs, they dragged the side of it and both gouged the piano and broke one of the stairs. Our movers response was "just kick the stair back in it will be fine."

After completing our move, I began the claim process with All My Sons. I submitted photos and a claim form and it has now been 26 days with zero contact or momentum in the claim after repeated email attempts. The one email I received back was from an assistant operations manager, and I was told it was now my job to contact the GM and claims because it "never takes this long" but I was given no contact info or names And every time I email, I am told that person no longer works for them and given another address. Seems a very sketchy place.

Complete Scam. These people are excellent on the phone but are pure trash on delivery of services and pricing. Prices are unreasonable. Most of my wood furniture have chips. I was scheduled to move on a Saturday but was told that the crew would not be available until 4p. At 4p I received a phone call telling me that the movers were too tired and that they will send a fresh crew in the morning. I was charged $832 to move less than 10 miles from my old address. I had packed 95% of the apartment. I will never use this service again and would never recommend them anyone.

I guess they have to hold your household hostage until paid because at the end you wouldn't pay them till they sorted out what the broke or ruined! The guy won't even call me back now. The crew was excellent. However, the quote I was given by the office was increased $200-$375 after they loaded the truck and arrived at my new location. Do you lack all integrity? I provided all accurate information for the move about items and floors, so how do you increase the total bill by 60% from the quote? People select moving companies based on the quote provided, so to significantly increase the quote after arriving at the new location is absurd. I will never use All My Sons again and I highly recommend that no one else does either. If you want an accurate quote from an honest company, definitely look elsewhere. All My Sons is a sham.

If I could rate them for their actions, they would get a “zero star...” What a horrible experience!! 5 hours late - then management argued with me about they never set a timeframe... a lie. Then brought wrong equipment to offload my household goods, even after I was very, very specific on what my load contained. Management refused to concede they messed up my entire day and made numerous mistakes in preparing. When speaking to management on site, they refused to move my offload to the next morning, then refused to return my deposit!!! Then he told me he needed to add another person, and that they would not do the move without adding another body at $149 per hour!!!

    In all:
    1. Refused to acknowledge the agreed upon, previously agreed to unloading parameters.
    2. Reused to prorate any fee due to management's negligence in ensuring proper equipment was on site per the discussed parameters.
    3. Refused to return my deposit... why?
    4. Tried to price gouge me for their mistakes.

    5. Disrespected a retired combat veteran over and over!!!

They broke, scratched, damaged or cracked nearly every piece of furniture. They begged for food and tips. They dented and scratched our floors and walls. They never put our piano or desks or dressers or beds back together. They left trash all over the lawn and garage. They charged us for tape and supplies never used. When contacting them regarding the noted items and sending five letters they did not contact me back for over three weeks and then were rude. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Attorney General. Steer clear of these people!!!!

All My Sons moving company quoted for moving all contents in the home including all packing with 4 workers and 1 van on day 1, 6 workers and 2 vans on day 2. They only provided 3 workers and 1 van both days and much content was still left at the house. The cost, even with this drastic under delivery of services, cost 457.54 over the quoted amount! My father had to rent another truck and take several additional loads on his own in the days to follow and there is still more to move, adding more to the cost and impacting their ability to sell their home and causing emotional distress and health risks. My parents are elderly and easily confused and taken advantage of. The impacts are especially bad since my mother has arthritis and my father has a heart condition making packing and moving harmful and dangerous to their health.

They didn't tell me they were on the clock that was 45 minutes later. When they got to the apartment to offload they told us they need to get paid before they unload. Of course the wheel in my head started churning. All of a sudden we received an invoice of $1450 almost double. I would understand 20% over for the 2 extra hours but not double what we were quote. Read the other reviews- They are correct when I say the Worst moving company I have ever had - I have moved across the county and never had a thing broken. I spent months meticulously packing my items so they would not be damaged. Bubble wrap; wrapping paper; small boxes etc. This team that came in couldn't move a pillow without damaging it literally. Every piece of very expensive furniture was damaged. Every Single Piece. Every box had something broken. We moved across town. They dropped and smashed box down our stairwell multiple times. One of the movers was actually dragging our bed-frame across the hardwood floors... I said, "What are you doing?" I have never seen anything like this - It was like they had no clue what it takes to have a nice home and actually move quality items. Pictures were destroyed, glass was broken.

I have thought about taking actions for deceptive practices as we were promised our items would be shrink wrapped and protected and arrive in the same condition it left my house. I had to show them how to do this and make them protect my furniture with pads. My Beautiful dining room table without a scratch was gouged down the middle. They just looked like how did that happen. When I say everything was damaged I am not exaggerating. This company doesn't deserve to be in business. I have told everyone what a horrendous experience I had with this company. Hire real movers not children who have no experience in moving.

Worst move we've ever experienced. We moved 1 mile from our house into an apartment until our new home is built. The movers were careless and sloppy. Several pieces of expensive furniture damaged, not to mention walls and floors. They left a huge pile of trash that they brought with them in our garage. We called the company twice after they were there with promises of insurance claims and that someone would come pick up the trash. One week later as of today and nothing from anyone. We've moved from Alaska to Tennessee and had nothing damaged. This crew couldn't move us a mile without damage.

I have moved several times in the recent past with this company from homes to homes and from homes to apartments. Yesterday I hired them again to move me from a one bedroom apartment to another apartment to buildings down in the same complex. I chose them because I trusted their service and because as it stands I needed help since I am having a severe case of gout. The 3 movers and the truck arrived at my apartment around 8 am. From the beginning we had issues. They sent me 2 wardrobe boxes without the hanger inserts so all my clothes had to be on the floor. I called the office and got the charges removed. I was happy by the level of service provided although the boxes were still useless to me.

My issues started around 9 am when the crew started slowing down. Taking one box at the time down and complaining about having to carry 3 bags of pillows. Going as far as making trips in and out without carrying anything. Needless to say that a move that should have been simple as it was a very small apartment, and only moving 2 buildings down took over 9 hours with 3 movers and it didn't get completed. They poorly organized the truck and refused to take my shoes, my laundry room plastic bins and some other bits and ends around there. Today after paying over $1200 to be moved I still have to fight my gout and finish on my own. I called and complained but was told to wait for call back. No response as of yet 24 so far and waiting. Don't hire them! What a scam.

Spoke a couple of times to Rene, he was very helpful and answered all of my questions, HOWEVER, the reason I am giving them one star is that the appointment I had for today Saturday April 20 apparently was never entered into the system. We are all human and anybody can make a mistake but I spoke to a couple of guys on the phone Saturday morning regarding this matter and hoping someone would have an explanation or better yet take ownership and come up with a solution but their attitude was basically that of "I don’t give a crap that you have been inconvenienced."

Honestly, if I had anyone at my business with their attitude they’d be filling out an employment application somewhere else because they’d be terminated immediately. People, it’s not a matter of losing just one customer, it’s that this grows exponentially and this one customer you lost actually turns into many customers that you lost. A word of advice, treat EVERY customer as if it's your ONLY customer and you will be successful and you will stay in business for years to come. Business 101 - Take ownership and be responsible!!

This company just moved my parents. What an absolute disaster from start to finish. The crew called to tell them that they were just leaving Boulder at the time they were supposed to arrive in Ft. Collins, delaying everything by more than an hour. Even with a clear explanation of the size of the storage unit, they misjudged the size and quantity of trucks needed and my parents had to scramble to quickly book another truck, all on the clock for these movers, paying a much higher price for the truck because they booked it last minute (which meant that they also had to return it to Ft. Collins from Aurora, rather than drop it at another location).

More concerning and devastating, however, were the following: While the four-crew members were nice and courteous, it was clear that NONE of them knew anything about how to safely conduct a large move, how to properly and safely load and unload the truck or carefully and attentively move heavy furniture. Three of the four movers had major falls during the move. I'm not sure how they escaped without major injuries, however, my parents' furniture was not that lucky. It was clear that none of them like their job, and although I don't think it was intentional, I'm sure this had an impact on the care they took in moving my parents' stuff.

Heavy furniture was loaded on top of fragile, light, valuable items. Items were not wrapped, or loaded properly. EVERY SINGLE major piece of (VERY EXPENSIVE, ANTIQUE WOOD) furniture suffered some level of damage, ranging from chips, dents and scrapes to multiple broken legs (on tables and chairs), a giant crack in the front of their grandfather clock, and shelves whose tops were completely cracked off. When I say EVERY piece, I'm not talking about just a few pieces--this includes multiple dressers, multiple desks, multiple tables, multiple buffets, multiple china cabinets, multiple shelves, multiple headboards, etc. These were cherished family heirlooms that had been well-cared for and carefully moved in previous moves. Additionally, boxes of papers were dropped, causing their paperwork to fly all over the truck, getting smashed, dirty, crumpled and in some cases, lost to the wind.

Although the original quote was nearly $800 less than the other movers that my parents had originally planned to go with, with the added cost of the extra truck and extra time, the final cost with All My Sons Moving Boulder was more than $100 more than the other company, not including the tip that my parents felt obliged to give to Josh and his crew.

If you value your stuff, please don’t hire these movers. More importantly, if you want to have a stress-free move with professionals who care about your stuff and know what they're doing, DEFINITELY DO NOT hire this company. [Please note: While this was for my parents' move, I was present to witness this. My parents were devastated, are older and are not as web-savvy, so I am providing the review because they are not sure how to.]

If I could give zero stars, I would because this was such an unbelievably unprofessional company. I was moving a 1 bedroom apartment and specified that it was only including the large items in my apartment that my boyfriend and I couldn’t do ourselves, since I lived on the 19th floor of a building. These items were a bed (which needed to be taken apart), dresser, nightstand, couch, lounge chair, entertainment unit, and table. I was quoted a 3 hour job; it ended up being 5 hours and 45 minutes and I’ll explain why. The loading area that I had reserved for the moving truck was blocked by another truck, which was out of my control. I took action, got the parking authority to move that vehicle, and at this time, the two movers were able to finally park, and walked into my apartment for a 1pm start, as opposed to the original 12.

I called the owner of the company, who couldn’t care less and said that it would be considered a 1230 start. As the day progressed, I caught one of the movers on his phone, talking to someone, leaning on my furniture, just hanging out as if he were at home. This also happened again when it took the both of them to take one small piece of furniture out to the elevator, and the same mover was doing nothing but showing pictures on his phone to the other mover as they came back into my apartment, continuing to waste time. I said at this point, ‘are we almost done here?’, because at this point it was 3:30.

They were finally done at 4, and as I left to go to my new place, the owner called me and asked how everything was going. I told him about the two times I caught his employee on his phone and how unacceptable it was and his response was ‘yeah, they shouldn’t be delaying like that’. No offer to cut me a break on the cost since now, it’s already an hour over the estimated time.

It took me 27 minutes to get to my new home, and I called the owner to let him know that since all of the delays resulted in traffic in my former city. His reply- ‘yeah, they just started the truck now’. I was in tears. I knew this 7 mile drive was going to take way longer than it should. When they finally arrived, I had to pay to release my furniture. I called the owner to tell him how unhappy I was with the time it took for such a small job, and again, he could t care less and just had a condescending attitude and said the price is what it is. AVOID this company at ALL costs. I’m lucky nothing was broken and wished that I read all of these awful reviews that others have had because they ARE TRUE!

My wife and I contacted All My Sons to help us move our "big furniture" into our new home. Three men met us at the 1st location which was a storage building at 9:00 am and the first thing I noticed was a strong odor of **. My first thought was do they not do random drug test on these guys? My 71 year old Father-In-Law and I brought all the heavy big furniture from the 3rd floor down to a staging area where the 3 guys could load the truck. My Father-In-Law and I had everything down that we wanted moved by 10:15-10:30.

My Father-In Law and I then went to his house where his garage was packed with more furniture. We waited and waited and finally got a call from the driver around 11:25-11:30 stating that they had one more piece of furniture to load and they would be on the way. 30-45 minutes later they showed up to the house which is literally less than 2 miles from the storage unit. WHAT IN THE WORLD!!! Does it really take that long to load one piece of furniture??? So my Father-In-Law and I brought everything down in an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and a half from the 3rd floor of the storage unit yet it takes three men 3 hours to load the truck where all the furniture is in a staging area 30-40 feet from the truck!!! That is absolutely ridiculous!

When they got to my In-Law's house I asked them if we had to wrap everything and they said no. From this point forward, they didn't wrap another thing and things went a lot faster! When we got to the new house to unload, the guys had to get me to fill out a form first before they would unload the truck which we didn't have a problem with...however, my wife and I had figured it would be around $900 or a little less, but when we saw the bill it was $1089 minus the $50 deposit which made it $1039! This is around $150 more than we had anticipated!

I called the office and spoke with a guy who was very rude towards me with an "I don't give a crap" attitude and he explained that if the guys finished early then we would be credited that amount back to our account. They unloaded much faster and scratched our hardwood floors in a couple of places really bad, and banged and scuffed our walls really bad getting furniture upstairs. All of the big items that went upstairs were wrapped with moving blankets and the items that were not wrapped were put in the living and dining rooms downstairs.

After a week went by, my wife actually had to call to get the money credited back to us... The guys left our house at 2:30 as I looked to see what time they left knowing that we should be refunded. We had All My Sons move furniture from our storage unit in Largo to our new home we had not even moved into yet. They damaged an expensive office desk (broke the leg); broke drawers, ripped the screen on the door (new home). They broke dishes, damaged door frames. When putting the back on a recliner the guy pushed it and it hit the wall and made a red streak across the wall. And much more broken items that can't be recalled today. We called the company to file a claim and they gave us the run around and said an appraiser would come to the house... Ha it never happened and now it has been a year still no word from them.

We even tipped three drivers $100 each and bought them lunch and one of the drivers said the sub he asked us for was not correct. Can you imagine he complained after buying his lunch. They broke the tiles on a outdoor table and now we have a table with two tiles still missing. I gave them the tiles after the driver said they would fix them. Horrible horrible moving company. If you value your furniture use someone else. I can't provide photos because we have repaired the stuff since our claim was left on deaf ears with no intention of ever resolving the issue.

I was called at 10 AM and told the truck intended for my job was still loaded from the night before and it would be an hour before they could get to me. At 12:30, I finally called to ask when they would get there and was told that they'd call me back only to finally learn at about 2:00 PM that they would not be coming. This company is a joke and completely left me out on a limb which will now cost me additional time and expense with my former landlord all because this company does not live up to its obligations. Decent pricing is not worth the total lack of responsibility. Look elsewhere.

Seriously? So they reschedule me on Sunday February 25TH between 0830-900 am. The day of the move they showed up at 1215 and finally ended up finish loading my things at 2:30. So I asked the movers if they were going to follow me to the destination and they said yes but as we're on the expressway they get from behind me and take a longer route and gets lost so I had to wait for them at the destination for over an hour to arrive. So I call the morning and kept telling me I give them the wrong address even the employee of storage unit told him that was the right address.

So finally the movers show up and I'm still on the phone with the man. He tells me unless I pay what he said I couldn't get my stuff off the truck so I paid 815.00 for a one bedroom no living room apartment and they took about 2 hours to unload my things. We ended up unloading all stuffs on the dock and the manager pushed us pay cash $900 before making any move... All he do is extend the time call to talk with my condo manager but did not cooperate or reimburse any credit.

I haven’t seen any company like this in this world trying to rip people off. Very rude, unprofessional and intolerant not even legal to provide service when they can’t provide insurance. They will tell you over the phone that they charge you 129 for 3 or 260 for 6 people. They do not tell you about additional charges like for example packing material. So they come with their truck and since they do not charge you by weight they now load the truck in such a way that it becomes necessary to have a second truck. Now they charge you extra for the second truck. They will also ask you for payment for each step prior to that step being completed. They load the truck you need to pay, before they unload the truck, you need to pay again. This is highway robbery.

While we were discussing the charges the drivers were told to take off with the truck. Even though, we had not even completed our negotiations with the company. They do not care what you say or if they are wrong or right. They simply left. The manager told us on the phone, "I do not keep the people there if you do not want to pay". My wife was in tears since she had selected the moving company and we were forced to pay since we could not be without our furniture. This moving company is a complete SCAM!! I was told over the phone that I would need to pay $100 deposit before scheduling a moving date and time. I was quoted $110 an hour, for a two man crew and truck. When they arrive, they have three guys to a truck. They began moving me and my girlfriend's belongings... Mind you, all of our items were by the door, ready to be picked up and taken to the truck. Maybe a total of 15 items. But anyways fast forward to them getting to our new place. The lead mover comes to me with this tablet and explains to me the moving expenses. He says it’s $546 for just the labor and it’s $144.95 an hour for a three man crew. I also was charged for mileage as well. After they deducted my $100 deposit, the grand total was $745.

I thought it was a joke when the mover showed me this bill. So he offered me to speak to his manager. I told him that there is no way that I’m paying $745, for this small move that was just made. If I had known it would have cost me this much, I we would’ve done it ourselves. He says he’ll just have his guys take my stuff back to their headquarters and unload it there. That’s when I got very frustrated and told him that my belongings will not be taken anywhere, but placed in my new apartment. He puts me on hold for a minute, then comes back and says, "the best I can do for you is $645." I said this move should have only cost, maybe $250-$300. There's no way I’m paying that. Plus I was told that I was being charged $110 for a two man crew and your guys show up with three, without saying a word to me about it. Now you want me to pay $144.95 an hour. It’s not gonna happen.

He starts to try to over talk me and argue with me. Finally I get tired of the back and forth, so I just say, take the $100 deposit off the $645, which would make it $545 and leave it at that. He says okay but if your items are damaged, they’re not reliable for them and that I can’t file a claim because I didn’t pay the full price. So I pay the bill and the movers began to move me and my girlfriend's stuff in.

They take most of the stuff where it’s suppose to be, but tell me that their boss says they can’t take everything where it’s suppose to go because they were suppose to be gone an hour ago... I said to the three movers... "do you guys go through this all the time with people who feel that they are getting way overcharged?” They said “all the time. We’re always in these situations, because our company aggressively overcharges their customers.” I say all of that to say this... stay as far away from ALL MY SONS MOVING COMPANY!! They are crooks and con-artist. They won’t be in business for to much longer, doing people the way that they do. It’s only a matter of time.

Where to begin... My husband booked the service, he explained what we were moving. We had a storage unit (including sq footage) as well as items from our home (itemized and told square footage) that we were moving about 45 minutes away. He was quoted 4 men, 6 hours for $700 approx. The gentleman showed up, there were only 3 men. I personally stayed with them at the storage unit. The men were extremely personable, and FAST with the shed. We went back to the house, and they began loading there. Things didn’t go as well here. One gentleman didn’t follow the direction of the man that appeared to be the lead. He ended up scratching our wall. Not so bad that I couldn’t patch it...but that’s not the point. Our coffee table was dropped and broken out of the truck.

I know things happen in a move. However this happened because of the company mistake. Not only did our belongings not fit on the truck. We spent an extra hour and a half...almost 2...just watching them play adult Tetris with our items trying to make everything fit. This is when our coffee table fell off the truck. My husband arrived home and wasn’t happy at all with what he found. The gentleman moving were not allotted a time to eat or even stop for water. It was evident they were trying their best to hurry, they were working for HOURS and were not allowed to take a break. I asked. "Can you not eat? You have to have a lunch...legally." I was told they were only given 5-6 hours to get the move done and they couldn’t eat until it was done.

By the time we arrived to our new place...we were past the time we were originally quoted and they hadn’t even dropped our items off at our new storage shed. Half of the fittings for my sons bed were lost because they weren’t removed from the bed before it was moved. A crucial component of our storage shelf was lost. We filed a form for the broken items and we were reimbursed partially for those. However. Our $700 quote...we were billed a final bill of $1500. My husband called and the person in the phone basically told him it wasn’t an exact quote and tried to educate him on what approximate meant. No arguing on our part, the fact that the company made the mistake that caused the extra time...or that damage was done BECAUSE of that negligence seemed to matter.

We absolutely are floored by the verbal treatment and my husband and are livid with this company. Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. The disrespect for our time and money is unacceptable. I can only suggest that you stay far away from this company. They are dishonest, and then when called on it...turn it back on you for not knowing better.

This is my second time personally using movers here in Denver, and this move was twice as much as my previous move with Local Moving LLC ($199/hr flat rate). As a real estate agent, I have referred this company to past clients who are moving, but I’ve never heard how much their moves were. But from this point on I will never refer to any client again, as well as letting Coldwell Banker - Denver know to do the same. I personally moved this weekend, my total move was $581, a majority of this was ridiculous fees.

    1) They charged me $72 for the materials (6 tapes, 1 roll of plastic wrap, and a mattress bag). I was loading up my car with clothes and got back in the house and everything had been wrapped. I told the movers I could tape my rugs, and they said not to worry about it, they could do it. I had the mattress, and other furniture wrapped in an old quilt too.

    2) Dishonesty goes a long way, I guess! When I spoke to the dispatcher originally, I asked the price and he told me $150/hour, a “special rate” for me referring customers to them. I asked about any additional fees and he told me that I could buy packing material, but I told him there was no need since I didn’t have much furniture, the mice was short, and I didn’t need my furniture wrapped. This is why I went with All My Sons instead of Local Movers LLC.

    3) I moved 3/4 of a mile away from my current place in Englewood. The movers arrived at 8:00 am and were completely finished moving me by 9:30 (but there is a two hour minimum, which is OK). My move only consisted of 1 bedroom, 1 living room, a bath and a dining room + kitchen boxes. The travel time was charged at $149, plus the $149 x 2 hours, materials, a labor charge of $298, and fuel charge of $63. Beware of all these hidden fees, and I recommend using Local Moving LLC instead @ $199/hour. Flat rate.

I engaged AMS in October for a move from one part of Evergreen to another. When Noelle of the Boulder office of AMS came to do the bid, I pointed out that our driveway was steep and they needed trucks with a short extension behind the rear axle to make it onto the driveway. Noelle even took a picture of the driveway. The move was eventually scheduled for January 28 with our closing on January 30. Due to snow the move had to be put back to the 29th. Chris and crew showed up at 9 in two trucks which could not even get onto the driveway. This resulted in a visit from Noelle and calls from the “manager” Paul. I reminded all of them that I had explicitly asked if they had trucks which short rear extensions and that they had assured me that they did.

Paul’s solution was to send Chris down to Denver to pick up two trucks from Penske. An hour later they were back. While these trucks had short rear extensions, they had low trailer hitches which meant they couldn’t get on the driveway either. At this point Paul called and told me that he had been working very hard and had located a rental flatbed truck at Home Depot in Golden. He said that I had to rent the truck and then use it to shuttle furniture from the house to their trucks at the bottom of the driveway. When I asked if I was expected to pay for this in addition to their costs he said yes. He also told me that if I didn’t get the smaller truck that they would have to reschedule me. I pointed out that we were closing the sale on our house the next day and that I couldn’t reschedule. I told him that he had a hell of a way of running a business.

At this point Chris told me that the crew would get me moved that day no matter what Paul said. I went to Golden and got the flatbed. We eventually finished the move at 9 pm that night. Chris and crew still had to return the Penske trucks. I told him and the crew that they were better employees than AMS so called management deserved. While the moving crews are great the management it totally focused on sales and slogans. In the end the move cost nearly double the original bid largely because of the time wasted. Naturally there was no talk of a partial refund from the erstwhile manager Paul. I do not recommend All My Sons.

Move was scheduled for 8:00 am Saturday, Dec 29, 2018. They showed up at 2:00 and I had to call them to get updates in between. Driver came in and proceeded to track my carpet with muddy shoes. When the estimator came out days before the move, she showed me nice pictures of the protective coverings that the crew would cover walls, floors and staircase. Never happened. All the company provides the crew is a 2 1/2 foot wide runner, which was not put down until I confronted them about the mud on my light carpet. It didn’t even cover the entire stairway.

Three man crew and five and a half hours later, they still didn’t have everything loaded. And we were not moving any appliances. Company had sent a fourth guy to help about four and a half hours into it. One of the guys covered my sofa table with padding that smelled like vomit. I complained about it and the driver and his crew ripped it off, walked out, got into their truck and drove off. Not even completing the load. And said nothing. The dispatcher had spoken with me earlier and indicated they would need to be able to offload until the next day. I was furious. Sitting home all day waiting on them. No one at the computer and could provide answers. Only would say they were sorry. Would not discount the price of the move.

A lot of my furniture was damaged, in addition to delays and cost incurred for hotel. Will be filing a claim this week seeking cost for damages. Believe these negative reviews. This company made a stressful time even more so. Very unorganized company and poor planning cost us time and money going into holiday weekend. Since beds were on their truck, got hotel room, which they said they will not pay for. All this was their fault. What else could I do? New crew the next day, two guys, worked circles around the other four and got our belongings unloaded and had to drive an hour back to our old house to get the items that were not loaded initially. That necessitated that my husband had to drive back as well. Since they had the beds loaded, no bed at either old or new house. Got a hotel room.

I chose All My Sons Movers because I thought they were excellent, none of that is true. The reviews that were on the website were all good. I had a very difficult time trying to find where to put a bad review from my experience with them. There are a lot of very bad reviews if you look hard enough. The company would not answer my calls. They packed the truck tightly and moved from Bourbonnais to Joliet, IL. All My Sons Movers dismantled my 4 poster canopy bed which was put together terribly. They had no idea how to put it together properly. THE BASE was ruined, TO STABILIZE the bed, I have to put bricks for support where it attaches to the headboard. They didn't care anything about it.

They just wanted me to sign the digital receipt and leave as fast as they can. We didn't have time to inspect any of the furniture which we found out was scratched and damaged. We trusted them to be honest. Their appraisal was $600 and I had to pay over $1400. No receipt was given. I put in a complaint to Southwest. Charge company to review the damage that day. Yes I charged the move. After 3 months of bickering with the moving company, SOUTHWEST CHARGE COMPLAINT DEPARTMENT went along with All My Sons Movers. SO WE STILL OWE THEM $1200. If I replace or had a professional fix the 4 poster bed base, scratched furniture, and floor, there is no guarantee that I would be compensated. I would owe more money which I can't afford. In the dispute I had pictures of the damage but that wasn't enough.

I was told fix it and send the bill. The movers and complaint department would again review the damage. At this point I can't afford to buy new furniture or have a professional fix the bed and furniture. I have to live with the damage and try to fix the base of the bed or leave bricks holding the base up so we can sleep on the mattress. To buy another bed alone would be more than $1400. I would owe more than $2800 and still not get compensated. I never moved before.

Beware of All My Son's Movers in Chicagoland area. They are not a reputable company. I should have checked around with someone personally to recommend a moving company, Two Men with a Truck would have been 100% better than All My Sons Movers. Too late now. Do not use them as your movers. You will be sorry and not compensated for the damage done to your furniture. You have no one to help you to fight them. There is no law to make them compensate me for the damages. You are at their mercy. They moved you so they did their part but they did not care about what they moved.

The salesperson was a young kid who knew nothing about moving. He gave me an estimate that I agreed to. When the movers showed up, on the day of the move, the terms had changed. I either had to accept them or find somebody else. The salesperson said I was being charged based on time and a certain size of truck. I could fill it as full as I like. He even said the more I brought down to the garage (close to the truck) the quicker it would go and if there was room left over we could throw more on if we like. The salesperson and I walked through the house and he entered the information I told him. There were several items he said wouldn't be a problem and didn't write down. The actual movers refused to move those items because they weren't listed on the quote. The move was delayed 1-1/2 hrs while I talked with their manager.

The actual movers were incredibly inexperienced and untrained. I have moved many times and watching these guys was like watching the three stooges. They actually fell several times coming out of the house and damaged several items. The company refused to pay for these items and/or would only give me a few dollars for the damage. I have a ruptured disk in my back so I paid to have the movers move the big items that I couldn't get (treadmill, elliptical, beds, dressers, couches, etc). The salesperson said they would disassemble and reassemble everything. The movers showed up with a tiny bag of tools. The only screwdrivers they had was a set you use to repair eyeglasses! I am being serious. What is even worse is the kid was trying to take things apart with the tiny screwdriver. I had to loan them my tools and even had to take many things apart because they couldn't figure out how to do it.

And what was worse is that they lost a lot of parts so I couldn't put things back together at the new house. They severely damaged my walls and floor. The list goes on and on. I have been a part of corporate moves at least 7 times over my career and even moved myself at least 6-8 times. I have never see anything like this. Run as fast as you can and stay as far away from this company as you can. The customer service is horrible. Every person I spoke with was incredibly rude and could care less about resolving my problems or helping me.

They knew I had no other choice and they took advantage of it. I never write review but I had to in this case. Do not use these people or you will regret it. If you do - record the meeting with the salesperson and every word you tell him and verify every single piece of furniture you want moved is clearly listed on the quote. If you decide to use them please make sure you have a backup plan and you aren't tied to the actual day of the move. And - good luck. You will need it.

When rescheduled, asked what our discount would be as this would result in days off from work, which wouldn’t have been the case if done on weekend as scheduled. Contact said “we would talk.”

I was way behind in the packing portion of the move but Jameson ** had told me at the onset not to worry and to call for help even if it was late in the game. So a day or two before the scheduled move, I called for help, and they were saviors. Got everything packed and loaded on the truck. The next day we needed to unload into a townhouse, half the size of the prior house, and the master en suite was not ready. We made a plan to use one of the bedrooms as a storage unit and packed it floor to ceiling, front to back with boxes, which saved us the inconvenience and additional expense of a storage unit or pod. The movers, were hard working, professionals who really cared about the safety of our belongings. I highly recommend this company, as a matter of fact, we will be using them again in the very near future.

I'm a reasonable guy, a nice guy. I've moved over 13 times in my adult life. I know moving is hard labor and I'm very understanding of what's involved - this being said I didn't bother the movers even though they were moving at a glacial pace. I am from the Dallas area (where All My Sons began- I think) so I have used All My Sons before and they were great and swift. However, today, this moving company has won an awesome 1 star from me. My advice is be careful and ask THE CORRECT questions. Otherwise you'll be shocked when it's time to pay.

Amber ** in Atlanta, GA called me to book, she told me my hourly rate, said the guys would come in... Wrap up my items then move me - which they did. However, they move extremely slow. They didn't begin moving swiftly until I said the money has run out. Period! AND I had to carry items myself to speed up the process! When it was time to pay I was hit with an unexpected packing material charge. I was charged $50 for tape and a mattress cover/plastic bag. These items cost 1/4 of the price at Wal-Mart. I WASN'T ASKED IF I WANTED THE MATERIAL THEY JUST DID IT ON THEIR OWN. When I spoke with Amber ** originally her wording didn't include a fee for this.

Again, words mean things so you should asked the CORRECT QUESTIONS and get the correct worded response, otherwise you end up with ** on your face as I have. I've moved 13 times, I have my own material. I then called and spoke with Terrence and he was completely rude, dry, monotone and an ** - some advice for you sir is Customer Service and DELIVERY go a very long way. Terrence said the cost of the package material was on the letter Amber emailed me. However, It doesn't say what to do if you didn't ask for it though. For the sake of not arguing with a stop sign, I ended the conversation.

I'm a rational guy but I do not appreciate the attitude you took with me Terrence. ** you and YOU TERRENCE have cost your company a customer. I read an All My Sons Moving review about this - they have your items on the truck then have you pay and endure add-on cost. You're stuck with no other options if you want your belongings. This type of business practice I will not work with ever again. In all, I paid over $600 to move a 1 bedroom in-town (that I had to help the movers complete). I paid less to have a POD moved across 4 states! I will not use All My Sons Moving & Storage Again. I will not recommend All My Sons Moving & Storage to anyone that I know.

If anyone ask me who I used to move I will boldly them my story and repeatedly caution them to use someone, anyone else. No one appreciates being taken advantage of. One day the Wrath of God will come down on All My Sons Moving & Storage and I hope I am alive to see it. I always tip and planned on tipping the guys around $50. Sorry guys, your company took your tip. I hope they buy you lunch or something. DO NOT write a generic "We're Sorry" response to my review as it will be deleted. Good luck and Goodbye.

My husband and I hired All My Sons to move us from one city to another in Ohio. A representative came to our home to give us a quote and assured us that All My Sons would provide experienced staff to move our possessions with the greatest of care. On the day of the move, November 5, 2018, 4 nice people showed up at our front door. Not dressed in any type of company shirts or logo, I became concerned that these people were not regular staff. One of them wore sport slip on flip flops with bright yellow socks. It did not take long before I realized that these were NOT experienced movers. Basically, our furniture, artwork and boxed items were treated like it was so much garbage.

Everything was tossed around like it was being thrown away, not packed for a 30 minute trip across town. My leather sectional was wrapped but the cushions were used for padding in the truck. I had to ask them to take upholstered furniture off the truck and wrap it. Mattresses were only partially covered. An heirloom mirror was dropped and broken. A large chest was pulled apart while being carried to the truck. A pedestal table was cracked. These are the things we have noticed so far. We did not allow them to unpack anything as I did not think my things could survive any more mishandling. We were so concerned when we got to our new home, we actually helped them unpack the truck.

They did not cover their shoes, they left mud on the carpets, they used large dollies to move heavy boxes and rammed the dollies over thresholds and up and down stairs without any care at all. They gouged walls and doorway trim. Finally, I asked them to just leave everything inside the front door. This was a disaster as far as I’m concerned and I am sick about it. These people were not experienced movers, they were day workers picked up at some facility in Cleveland. I will go out of my way to warn my clients, family and friends about All My Sons Moving. Worst experience ever!

I am writing only in the hopes of saving others from enduring the extreme stress and financial loss that I suffered as a result of hiring this company for my out of state move. All My Sons was hired to move my belongings from TN to FL recently. At the start of the process, they were extremely accommodating and informative during the walkthrough and quote process. All interactions subsequent to this, however, were beyond a nightmare. On the day of my move, the movers rushed through the move and did not pack in accordance to what we were told, including wrapping a television in my clean bed coverings for protection (rather than using a cardboard tv holder as described during the walkthrough). All of this was done without my permission.

The worst occurred when they dropped a large dresser down my staircase, breaking and damaging stair treads along the way and crashing into my new front door – leaving a hole in the door and other scratches and dents. They also wedged the front door under another adjoining door frame scraping and damaging the door frame and transferring red paint from the front door onto my newly painted moulding. Once the furniture was delivered, I began noticing damages to the vast majority of my furniture, including corners chipped off of my headboards, coffee tables, and the interior frame broken in my fairly new $800 living room chair. These damages, some of which were minor – especially considering the long distance move, were only the beginning.

A large portion of my belongings were delivered to a storage unit. The movers purposely left the moving blankets on several items (including my brand new dining room buffet table) and stored them in a location within the unit making it difficult for me to completely inspect while they were unloading. When I went back a few days later to properly uncover the items, I noticed that my brand new buffet table had a huge dent and hole in the top, damage so severe that I’m certain it cannot be repaired. Also, all of the corners were chipped off my large dining table and my smaller dining table.

Additionally, I had one dining chair whose frame was split on the side and numerous other dents, scratches, and scuffs (many of which will be noticeable even if they can be repaired). When I contacted All My Sons and their claims department, I was told that the claims process typically takes 30 days, so I began taking photos and writing detailed descriptions and submitted all with my claim. In the meantime, I had to pay for the home damages out of pocket so that I could put my house on the market. This caused me a delay of about a month with listing my home – a situation which my realtor informed me put us out of the peak market time, and is likely why my home has not sold months later (especially given that the repairs are noticeable – replaced stair treads could not be matched, etc.) and may cost me even more money down the line.

When my claim was finally processed, All My Sons offered me only a little over $300 for all of the damages – with only a little over a $100 relating to the damages done to my home. After considering that I made a payment to them of almost $9,000 for the move, endured thousands of dollars of damages to my home and property, and likely will lose thousands more due to the delay in listing my home and potential additional repairs to my staircase, I was not happy. When I called the claims department about the amount, I was told my only recourse was to submit more details on the home damage (repairs invoices) and that a committee would review and may pay an additional amount, however, they specifically said that they would not pay the full price of the home repairs regardless.

The property damage for the items being moved is one thing, but I’m not sure how they believe it’s fair to cause severe damage to my home and not be responsible to fully reimburse me. With all of this being said, on principle, I am refusing the $300, and will not sign and have notarized their paperwork confirming that this amount is sufficient. It is more important to me at this point that no one else endure what I went through with this company. Please, if you’re looking for local movers, choose a different alternative or have friends assist you with the move (even if it’s cross country). I have lost all of my nice belongings in this process and could buy a new car with the money I have spent and will spend to replace everything.

All My Sons moved me out of my ATL apartment and stored my belongings for one year. No issues whatsoever with this move or the office staff.... In fact they were great to work with especially Amber. However, 2 weeks ago, I contracted with All My Sons to move my belongings from ATL to New York City. They told me the truck would leave first thing on a Wed morning and would arrive hopefully Thursday afternoon or Friday morning at the latest. I acknowledge with a 14 hour drive that traffic, road construction, accidents, truck breakdowns, etc could delay delivery. This schedule worked for me as I had a flight out on Saturday morning for vacation.

The Wednesday the truck was supposed to leave I received NO calls or updates from AMS Movers as to status. My bad for not calling them to verify the truck was on its way. Had I known the truck did NOT leave on Wed I would have re-scheduled delivery for the following week after my vacation. Thursday morning 10am after receiving NO updates from AMS Movers, I called the office and spoke with Wendell, the Asst Manager. He told me the truck had not left yet because their long distance driver was delayed on a previous job. I pushed Wendell to explain why no one called me on Wed to alert me the delivery was delayed. He said he had a personal emergency that day that prevented him from calling. I asked did no one else in the office know how to use a phone and call me... He had no answer. Poor Customer Experience.

He then said the driver was on his way in, would load the truck and get on the road ASAP thus delivery should be sometime next day Friday. I was nervous about this but he GUARANTEED Friday delivery in the afternoon to meet the closing hours of my storage facility. The next morning Friday, again after receiving no updates or calls from anyone at AMS Movers, I called the office and spoke again with Wendell. He said as of 12:30 pm the truck was 1 hour south of Washington DC. I told him there was no way they would make it to NYC on a Friday afternoon and unload by 7:30pm, the closing hour of the storage facility. He had the nerve to say his guarantee was that my stuff would be in NYC by Friday and did not mean job completed by Friday... I asked Wendell several times what time did the truck leave the day before but he would not answer.

I was stuck as I had a flight out the next morning so this job had to be completed that day. I had to solve the problem myself by contracting for a 2nd storage unit in another facility that had 24 hour access. I had to do this by 5pm that day. I then waited at the facility until the truck arrived at 8:40 pm. I then assisted the 2 gentlemen in unloading my belongings due to the late hour.

I then learned the driver intended to leave first thing Thursday morning but Wendell sent him on another job which delayed them in leaving for NYC until late Thursday afternoon... A fact Wendell never informed me of and instead lied to me when he said the truck left as soon as the driver arrived and loaded up. Had the truck left without Wendell's re-assignment, they would have made NYC Friday afternoon and thus avoiding me having to get a 2nd unit, wait 3.5 hours for arrival and the late hour of 10 pm for job completion.

I will never use AMS Moving again... neither should anyone else... as their communications was horrendous, they failed to meet their promised schedule and guarantees and quite frankly I feel their Asst Manager Wendell LIED to me, misled me and treated me with little respect as a customer. I fully understand long distance moves are challenging with many obstacles and AMS Moving is NOT the company to trust for this especially with Wendell in charge.

I hate to call out specific people but because of Wendell alone, this experience was horrendous and the frustration I endured was due solely to him, his lack of communication, his misleading statements and lack of professionalism. BTW... the driver and his helper were amazing... very professional. Did a great job considering the situation they were in due to poor planning and management. Since completion last week, I have received no follow up calls from anyone at AMS Movers.

We were given an estimate of $9500 for our move as a full packing plan. This estimate also included the pickup and delivery of our Jeep Grand Cherokee. We were told this assessment covered disassembly as well as packaging. We then proceeded to do a large portion of our own packing. We completely packaged two bedrooms and one bathroom and the majority of the garage. All wall items were removed and boxed. We disassembled the crib and trampoline. We got rid of several large items also.

These items included a set of dressers, a recliner chair, a whole set of patio furniture, bike trailer, and bunk beds frames with several smaller items. This was discussed with Jeff who said he would send a revised plan, which was not sent until July 31st at ~5 pm after the truck was loaded. The movers did arrive with the revision and it was addressed with them that we were told we would be charged with partial packing. We were told it could be dealt with later and they needed to get started. 3 movers arrived to pack items. One of the movers was too tired from a prior move or drive that he left after packing one or two kitchen boxes. He was outside napping in his truck while most items were boxed or wrapped. This is the same individual who would later fill out the itemized list the next day with item description (describing existing damages) the next day.

Several of the items were covered in moving blankets prior to his evaluation. I have issue with the way that was done for the fact that it was neither factual nor accurate. I will give only a single example, but I have many if needed. For example it is listed that we have “leather” couches that were “badly worn,” only problem being we have no leather furniture and the couch referenced was 2 months old and looks basically new. That is the same for the recliner that was noted to be bent and broken. While these items made it to the destination in great condition, which we appreciate, my point is that the listing of items was a complete farce at best. The most concerning part of this to me is that this may be your “professional” MO, if not sanctioned by the company itself, then embedded in your employees to protect themselves after real damage occurs.

On arrival multiple items were not tagged or tagged inaccurately making it impossible or very difficult to utilize the system as sold to verify that all items made it and were in similar condition on arrival. The way items were boxed was also somewhat of a joke. Again I will provide some examples. On arrival we told the movers to do certain areas last as we had some items we were going to get rid of or bring with us. One of these was the pantry. One of the movers started boxing the pantry towards the beginning. He boxed everything! One box had an empty Costco sized pretzels container and a near empty (literally 6 goldfish left) Costco sized box of Goldfish crackers. That was all that was in that 3.0 box. There were several items in that area that we planned on taking with us (baby food/formula) so we had to go through the boxes that were packed.

We found the items and multiple others as mentioned and decided to re-box multiple kitchen boxes to be more efficient and effective. As I mentioned in the damages section, this method of packaging continued throughout the house and included items that are more valuable and important including textbooks and electronics. There was a single lampshade in a large box… nothing else, this was piled under other boxes in the truck. Some of the pictures will demonstrate this problem of poorly utilized and packaged boxes. I believe that the fact that almost twice as many boxes were used as was estimated by Jeff only supports my point that the actual boxing process was not standard. While the estimate included 2 x 25 lb newsprints, I imagine not even a quarter of 1 of those was used to protect objects and fill empty spaces (all of that was on the 2 boxes of dishes).

While most of the boxing occurred the first day, they were unable to finish it due to lack of time and supplies, so a few parts of the house were left for the next day which was scheduled for loading. The time frame for all stages of the move was important and they were discussed in detail with Jeff prior to the move. Other events were scheduled according to that plan. One scheduled event that was directly affected was the carpet cleaning. The moving company was made aware of the scheduled cleaning at noon on the 31st and the scheduled walkthrough for the move out at 4 pm. The movers said that they would come at 7:00 am on the 31st to finish the packing and load the truck to ensure that there was plenty of time for the cleaning and checkout. They did not show up until approximately 10:15-10:30.

No update on change of time or plans was communicated. While a second team did come to help for a quick 30 minutes to try and move everything downstairs, there were still several areas upstairs that were not packed including the master closets. My wife and I then packed the master closets to move things along. There were functionally only two movers at this time as one individual (the guy sleeping through the prep process) logged our stuff describing “damages”. It was obvious by noon since the entire downstairs living and front rooms were full of stuff and there were still unpacked areas, the cleaning was not going to happen as scheduled and had to be canceled. We were charged from our deposit by the landlord to later perform the cleaning. Everything was barely out of the house by 4:00 pm for the walkthrough, allowing only brief vacuuming after each room was cleared of items.

While we tried to express our concerns about these issues early in the move process, no one appeared to be interested. The only calls we received were to collect the remaining balance prior to delivery of our goods. I was told I would be called by a “Heather” from claims once the delivery was done. I was told that at that point our issues would be addressed. That call never came, even after it was requested multiple times from Jeff. Anyhow, upon arrival of our items, the unloading verified the poor job done on the packing end. To quote the unloading third party crew that helped us, “in my past 10 years of professional moving experience, we have not seen anything done like this before.” The first thing I noticed as the trailer was opened was a web of bikes with my $1500 computer (fortunately wrapped in a blanket) wedged in at a peculiar angle between other objects.

Heavy boxes on top, many mostly empty boxes, and the other moving company noted all damaged items as well. Pictures have been taken to verify the story and damages. We also had issue with the move of the car. We were told the Jeep would be picked up on the 31st with the loading of the truck. We were told there was no available driver, so we had to drop the vehicle off at All My Sons' business location. We were told we would receive a discount for this, which has not occurred. Delivery of the Jeep was also a mess. It was suppose to arrive the same day as the drop off of the truck on the 16th of August. It didn’t come and multiple attempts to locate the vehicle failed. No communication occurred for 5 days as we waited for a vehicle that was needed for work. We were close to reporting our car as stolen. Fortunately it did show up without damage.

In summary, this has been a pretty horrible experience. I have moved a lot of people including myself many times over the past few decades. I was expecting professional service from a professional company to whom I have paid what I, and I believe most people, would consider a significant sum of money. I consider myself a reasonable person, and had proper communication occurred during the process, this wouldn’t be much of an issue to me. However, the only real responses I have gotten along the process were to collect the remaining fees while basically receiving hostage threats for my goods. I was told none of my stuff would be delivered until I paid the rest of the amount due. I did that in good faith. Once all money was paid, responses have been even more difficult to get. I am happy to discuss this in more detail with anyone interested and look forward to the resolution of our business together.

Sadly you have already lost a future customer and recommendation for future business. I expect some money refunded for the “partial packing” that was done, and that is only because by definition you did only partially pack our goods. I also expect compensation for the damaged items. I expect compensation for ~6 days for delayed arrival of my car. As far as the actual claims go, values below are estimated costs to repair or replace with similar quality items. I saw in claims instructions not to have items repaired or thrown away, however, it took a very long time to get responses from the Phoenix group as noted above. I had the bike repaired and have cost receipt (frame was not addressed).

The mirror, kids’ bookcase, and bike, computer were thrown away once found to be broken (case and mirror collapsed and were dangerous to have around children). Dropping the Jeep off is an estimate on fair compensation if a tow truck had to be hired. Partial packing was according to initial proposal sent by Jeff. Delayed Jeep drop off was based on a reasonable rate for car rental for less quality vehicle for days delayed.

Claims: I was offered a total of $117 at their 60 cents a pound rate. They didn't address any of the other issues including being overcharged for full packaging, losing my vehicle, and not picking up my vehicle. In order to get the claim, I had to sign an agreement that stated I could not write a negative review. You can see the choice I made.

In June I contacted AMS about moving my house out of Colorado to Arkansas. I was given a price with a $1000.00 down the same day. I was told my goods would be loaded into 1 truck and the same truck would take them to my new home. 2 days before my move date, AMS called me and told me that I would have to pay another $500.00 because of a scheduling problem. Through no fault of my own, I had to pay, 2 days before. I was then told my goods were being transferred to another truck for shipment. In order to have them shipped on the same truck, I would have to pay another $10,000.00. AMS said there was a misunderstanding, you think! 9 people showed up and loaded the truck and did a super job.

A truck 3/4 the size of the original truck showed up in Arkansas and was packed full. It looked like things were just thrown in there. Things missing, broken flat screen television and many more things destroyed. The lawnmower was up top of the pile and leaked oil and gas on 4 mattress and a bunch of other things, the lawnmower was in pieces. After complaining, I had to fill out forms, sign and notarize, saying that I was not lying. Something I should have done to AMS when signing the contract. The movers who unloaded the truck had nothing good to say about AMS. Be forewarned.

If I could stop everyone from using this company I would. I hired this seemingly reliable company for a recent local move. Everything seemed to be going well until I noticed all of the damages that occurred while the movers were placing my furniture into the final location. My brand new bedroom set purchased in January of this year from Macy's looked as though they dropped the headboard and footboard causing major noticeable damage while my chest, dresser and one nightstand were left with scratches, gouges and dings. My bed frame even has a piece of wood totally broken off of the corner with nails exposed. I alerted the movers of these damages and the driver took photos of the damages and said I will have to file a claim to get them fixed. I sent in the claim form outlining the $2,500 worth of furniture that looks like it was carelessly thrown around and was sent back a letter offering me $84 for everything.

I called customer service and was told that the damages looked pre-existing. I cannot even begin to describe how upset and downright infuriated I am with this company. To have their employees so carelessly handle my belongings and then blame ME for the damage to my own furniture is ABSURD. I demanded my claims be moved up the line to be reviewed by their "board" and I expect a more appropriate resolution for the trouble they've caused me.

I was quoted $1700-$1800, and assured it would not be more than $2000, to move a 1500 square foot household 60 miles. After a $250 deposit, my final bill was over $2600. This included overtime to try to load a too-full truck, and fix items that they broke. No one came to preview the move, although I was told they would. Not all of my furniture would fit on the truck, and when I called to get an additional truck sent, I was told "sorry", with no other idea of how to fix the problem. (I had to have friends and relatives help me move the rest.)

When unloading, I found that the bulkhead had someone else's furniture in it --- mine would have all fit! I have several broken items and damaged items beyond repair. This includes an alder wood headboard, from a company no longer in business (so cannot be replaced); a washing machine that is brand new, now has scratches on the side and top is dented; and an antique upholstered chair has damage to the wood. There was also a filing cabinet and bookcase that were destroyed. Two out of three bedrooms of furniture were left unassembled, because the hardware was lost in the move. My recommendation is: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

As I read another complaint before writing, I notice that the review from Snellville, Georgia had the same sad, scam artist experience. I am working on contacting the corporate office to get over $1,000 refund. I was told they would move me in four hours to my apartment. Told them I had a 4500 sq ft plus house; told them I was moving to a 1300 apartment; they wrapped and move two rooms, sofa set, kitchen table and chairs, boxes and we made a 20 min stop to drop off 4 items at my storage. Again they said all of this would take no more than four hours.

They brought 4 guys to my home and these guys struggled with, damaged my furniture, damaged my walls, damaged my steps going upstairs. They left my house about 6 hours later then took four hours to set up a 2 bedroom apartment. According to their feedback, they calculated a 4 hour job which calculates out to no more $800 - $1,000. When they arrived at my apartment they then gave me the bill. They would not unload my furniture without full payment. This company said my bill was over $2200. I almost fainted! I will work at contacting them to get back at least $1100 of my money. If I don't get my money, we will go to the next step to handle this issue.

If the company would have told me that it would cost me that much money, I would have moved my own furniture. They were not upfront. When I called to complain about, the manager became rude because I was not happy. Are you serious. You charge me over $1,000 plus dollars over. This is not right and it needs to stop... Again, I will give them a couple of weeks to correct this, if not I will act.

The manager Jim apologized and said the movers got to their first client and found out they had to pack a whole house full of stuff which originally wasn't part of their move. He said they would be there as soon as possible.

4 phone calls later and at 6:30 pm the movers finally show up. The movers themselves told us that our move somehow didn't get put on their schedule and they double booked, which pushed our move to the end of the list. We were beyond angry and annoyed but were happy to finally have them there to complete the move. They didn't finish up until about 9:30 but we were just relieved to have everything finished. Then later in the evening we realized that they didn't assemble some of the dresser mirrors and they misplaced the hardware so we had to go to Lowe's to buy the parts to fix the issue ourselves. I was ok with that price. I was told that we were scheduled between 8-9 am and I would get a call 30 minutes prior from the driver. Morning of the move, I never got a call, I called the office at 9 am and was told "oh I'm glad you called, the truck broke down but don't worry. We will get you moved today." I have NEVER been so livid, they basically hold your belongings hostage until you pay. I was charged $1,476.00 for labor.

No moving company I’ve ever used before had me do that. They gave my husband and I a verbal quote over the phone. Quoted $129 per hour to move a 2 bedroom house. Said it would take about 2 hours. They did mention a fuel charge as well. They asked if we needed packing, we said NO. My husband and I literally moved everything ourselves to our new house, except the furniture and larger items. No appliances. We mentioned all of this twice to them, when we booked with them, and the day before the move when they called to confirm.

When the movers showed up the next day, they just started wrapping our furniture up. Again, They didn’t ask us if we wanted this stuff wrapped nor the cost for the wrapping. We thought they were just being careful. I mean we told them twice no we didn’t need packing. Anyways they just started packing and wrapping. About 30 min after they started they then pulled out the paperwork. Another RED FLAG. They were also slow. My husband and I was actually helping them move stuff. Anyways 3 hours later from start time, we arrive at our new house. 7 miles away. Literally after they pull up they said they wanted us to go ahead and pay. Ok so this has Been 3 hours. We are expecting $400-500. WRONG. They showed us a bill for $897 plus our $100 deposit so actually $997 for 3 hours and a 7 mile drive. My husband refused to pay that RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY.

The bill had $189 of packing material we told them no. A $100 fuel charge. My husband called their management Paul. Anyways he was no help. My husband said he would compromise at $600 which was being generous on our part for real. Paul said if he didn’t pay their policy was to not take our stuff off the truck till we paid. As this conversation was taking place I watched the movers load the ramp and shut the doors with OUR BELONGINGS STILL IN THE TRUCK. My husband asked to speak to their supervisor and Paul hung up on him.

My husband called back and we spoke to Ryan the general manager. He took off the packing fee and half the fuel charge which brought the grand total down to $759. Absolutely ridiculous. This company uses the scam Tactic BAIT AND SWITCH, HOSTAGE, and EXTORTIONS their customers. They tried to hold our stuff hostage till we paid. SCAMMERS. Don’t give this company a dime. I wouldn’t let this company move my worst enemy! They were horrible. When they finally got to our new home (they got lost) the driver got out of the truck and threw a huge fit. He assumed my husband gave their headquarters the wrong address but in fact it was their own headquarters that did that. He started throwing things (his step-ladder and cooler) out of the truck when he realized a bunch of our things were broken.

When my husband started talking to him about it the one in charge (driver) got all pissed and called their headquarters. My husband was trying to calm the guy down. The guy told headquarters that my husband threatened him. I was standing right there and nothing was further from the truth. My husband was trying to calm the guy down. It was a nightmare. Items broken or scratched /dinged were numerous. Our 58” TV’s stand was broken along with the TV all beat up, the headboard, sides of bed were scratched all over ($4,000 bedroom set) my husband's grandmother's headboard and footboard are missing (assuming they broke that and didn’t want to tell us), end dug up, my grandmother's dresser dug up, tall lamp broke in half plus many more items dug up.

The service offered by this company (especially Ryan **, out of the Clackamas, Oregon office) is absolutely horrible. It all began with me submitting a quote request from their website and indicating that I would need to be contacted via email or text, yet the calls started immediately. I indicated several times that I could only communicate via email or text, as I was at work, yet the calls continued. I was hounded to give them the info to create a quote and then waited two days and heard nothing after providing the information and ended up having to send a fairly blunt email to get their attention.

Ryan then groveled to get try to keep my business and made many excuses about why he didn't get back to me. I decided to give him a second chance and continued to communicate back and forth with him until today when I got the following email from him. This was a very flippant response (without any explanation of the 16 hour estimate) to a very valid question. He claims it was not meant to be that way, but it would never take 16 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom house, even with 2 storage units and travel time for 45 miles. Based on this very poor customer service, I would not use this company nor recommend them to anyone.

*SPOILER ALERT: they flaked on me twice and didn’t give a crap about me as a customer. This was my first time using this company. NEVER AGAIN. I’ve moved many times in my life and never was the experience so horrible and below standards than when I mistakenly hired All My Sons. First and foremost, my move was scheduled for a Friday as “second move” of the day, with movers to arrive between 1-5 pm. Movers did not show up to my door until Sunday at 4:50 pm. I have never had movers flake on me until I booked All My Sons.

On Friday I was told the first move of the day was taking longer than expected since the inventory didn’t match up with what had been disclosed to the company. I spoke with a man named Caleb in the Richmond Operations Department and throughout multiple calls of the day delaying my move even further, he eventually let me know he had no time estimate for the movers to arrive Friday night and that the next available time to move me was Sunday if I didn’t want the movers to come so late and obviously exhausted from their first move. Caleb told me that he had to push back customers scheduled on Sunday to Monday in order to accommodate me, but you couldn’t push back your Saturday customers to fit me in first since I was scheduled first? Why did I need to wait longer when I was in line first? Where is the customer care in that if you make me wait longer than necessary?

I needed to be out of the place we were moving from Friday night. I could not wait until Sunday. But other moving companies were very fully booked and we had no choice but to delay the move until Sunday. Caleb told me that we would be the very first move on Sunday with movers coming between “9-10 am”. Come Sunday morning and I never received a call from the movers for the 30 minutes or so heads up to expect them. Around 10 am I called the customer service line only to discover I couldn’t talk to anyone until 11 am when the phone lines opened!

When I finally got on the line, I was transferred to Jermaine ** in the Operations Department since Caleb apparently wasn’t in the office today. And what does he tell me? That I’m not on the schedule for Sunday. He told me he was aware of my situation but he knew nothing about me being the first move of the day and he could not guarantee that movers would get to me at all on Sunday.

Jermaine was very unsympathetic, very apathetic, and totally unconcerned with my situation at hand. He made no attempts to rectify anything, made no apologies, and simply had an attitude of it-is-what-it-is-and-I-can’t-do-anything-about-it. All he tried to do was keep pushing my move back to Monday or Tuesday but I had repeatedly told them I could not be delayed any further and I needed movers now. I was appalled at his complete lack of caring and his lack of gestures to make anything right. All he could tell me was “call back later for a better update.”

So I called about 2-3 times. Once around 12:30 pm when NO ONE answered and a lady in the Dallas call center picked up and said she’d send an email immediately to her supervisor and Jermaine’s supervisor. No one got in touch with me from that. I called again around 3 pm and got another “call back later” answer from Jermaine. I might have called one last time around 4-4:30. Throughout Sunday I had no choice but to sit around, frantically try to find back up movers to no avail at such last minute timing, and felt total despair that All My Sons would once again fail me. Finally, at 4:50 pm on Sunday the movers did show up and completed the move, 2 days after the fact.

I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service. I understand summers are busy moving days, but if I’m scheduled for a certain day, I need to move that day. The total lack of compassion and gestures to rectify the situation were appalling. I had to put up with being pushed off and off with no guarantees I would even be moved. No one could even tell me sorry. No one offered me any sort of incentive to stay with this company - I stayed simply because I had no other choice. I can’t believe I had to pay full price for the amazingly dismal service and disrespect of my time and my need to move. The movers also overcharged me for the amount of time it took them to complete my move. Half a star is for the fact they eventually refunded me the overage.

Also, one of the movers reeked of weed smoke. I believe I was told when booking with All My Sons that movers were drug screened. Like, your personal habits are your personal habits but you should not get to ** off and get high when you’re supposed to be moving my stuff and focused on a job. The crew scratched up my walls and floors and I’ve had no reconciliation from the damage claim I submitted over two weeks ago. On top of that, the lead mover kept hounding us about tipping his crew. I’ve never had a moving company so in your face about tipping them. You weren’t even stellar. It’s hard to believe All My Sons considers themselves customer-focused with the way I was treated and pushed aside with no apologies or any gestures of compassion in this difficult time. Moving is one of the 3 most stressful things in a person’s life and All My Sons doesn’t care about you at all. Stay away from them.

All My Sons is the absolute worst company to use. Internet viewers - if you are moving absolutely do not use this company. I did my research and weighed the pros and cons and I was horribly wrong in choosing them. They stall and milk the clock and I had one of the managers call me a liar when I was promised the moving company would be at my house between 8 and 8:30 when they showed up at 10:00 am. They promised me 3 men and only 2 men came out. The workers were very very slow and when I called the company saying the workers were moving very slowly next thing I knew they removed all of my furniture in a short time after the call (showing they were milking me on the clock) and then physically left with all of my furniture and never told me they were leaving.

I saw them through the window leaving with my furniture without anyone telling me they were leaving. They are rude, inconsiderate and milking the clock to their benefit and oh, by the way, they do not take cable which I found out was in the small print of the email confirmation they sent. Something that important they should tell you upfront or post it on their website which they did not show. DO NOT USE THEM!! Still recovering from the living nightmare I experienced with them two days ago.

I moved from a very small apartment with 820 sqft and two bedrooms and one bath. It cost me just over 1200 dollars and the cost of replacing broken/damaged items. Absolutely would not recommend!!! Apparently the driver doesn't do anything but drive and Text and stand around and guard the truck I guess. The other young man TC was awesome professional and did a great Job. My friend had to have her sons help because of the lack of help. All her boxes were small and labeled. Her two sons and his girlfriend helped because it was moving so slow. Travis had to smoke and text and only came inside when he absolutely had to. It took from 9 am till 1:50 with everyone's help.

Travis the driver slammed her furniture coming in the building and when coming in the apartment. He complained and would leave and get on his phone. He informed us that the company would leave with her stuff if she didn't pay the almost 900 dollar bill. After much deliberation on the phone with a curt manager, they finally gave her 165.00 off and acted like it was a big deal. He accused my friend's husband of being rude. We videotaped the whole conversation. Being a professional himself he ask questions and was treated like he was hostile. So why would you pay twice as much for half as much help. Everything was sorted packed marked, in small easy to manage boxes. Beware of this company. I gave two stars because of TC very polite and professional young man. The driver was not professional courteous or a worker. Very sad.

All My Sons Moving and Storage sent a crew to move my household goods to storage on June 3 & 4, 2018. The original bid was to move my things into storage, then move them to my new home at a later date. The bid ticked all my boxes, but that's where the service stopped. When I opened my door to the crew of 5 on June 3, it looked like they were day labor picked up on the streets. Two of them wore AMS t-shirts, the other 3 did not. The crew "leader" told me he was actually at the same level as the rest of the crew, so there was no one supervising the other guys. They showed up without markers to mark the rooms on the boxes. I provided Sharpies to them.

The bid called for dish packs. David started to wrap and pack my china in a regular box, and said they didn't have any dish packs. After I told him he was not to pack china and dishes in a regular box, he called his manager, Jimmy. He held out the phone for me to talk to Jimmy. Jimmy told me they didn't HAAAAAVE any dish packs, and I told him this wasn't going to go well and hung up. Jimmy called the packer, who said to the other crew "Jimmy said to pack her up." A short time later, Jimmy was on the phone again, saying they would have dish packs the next day and they could pack the items then.

The guys left after 3 hours. They had taken the majority of the furniture to the storage unit, and some of the boxes that I had packed myself prior to the move date. That night, I was reflecting on the day and came to this website and saw the horrible reviews and panicked. Between what happened that day and the reviews, I thought it was best to find another company to move my goods to my new home, since so many of the reviews were about not putting furniture together and having it break. I let Jonathan **, the person who bid the job, know my intent.

The next day, the same crew came. They hung out together by the truck, would be sitting down in unoccupied rooms not doing anything. The dish packs did come that day. They still had no markers. Things went downhill fast. Guys would come to me, bringing individual items, asking "Does this go?" I explained every time that EVERYTHING went except for those things they were not permitted to take, like hazardous materials. Guys would take out one item at a time to the truck (one lamp, an armful of board games, a small side table, for example). They are paid by the hour. I could sense the clock ticking and charges continuing to go up.

10 hours later, we all went to the storage unit. There were items they didn't bother to pack and were just put into storage piece by piece, didn't protect (including art work and electronics), most of the boxes are not marked. There is a lot that will have to be repacked before it is loaded onto the moving truck. It is going to be a nightmare. Someone stole a house plant from my kitchen. Who knows what else they stole, if they would steal a house plant. They also left several items behind that should have been packed and in storage. I have photos.

When the "leader" came to me to sign the bill of lading, he told me where to initial on a small tablet. After I was done initialing, he came to the page for me to sign, agreeing to pay the charges. I was surprised to see the charges were just about where the bid was. After I signed, he motioned to the other guys that it was okay to unload the truck into the storage unit. Then he scrolled to the next page and I saw the charges on this page were $2,000 more than they should have been, according to the bid. The labor was much higher (one piece at a time loading can do that), and they charged for the materials on the bid, but not the materials they actually used. The bill of lading was just the amount of boxes from the bid, there was nothing to show what was packed and stored.

After the truck was unloaded into the storage unit, the leader, David came up to me (I am pretty sure I was crying, which I did for the next 3 days). I told him, "This was awful," and he replied, "I know." I was pretty hysterical by this time. I contacted Jonathan ** again, who told (texted) me someone named Edward would be in touch with me the next day. Edward didn't call, I called him. He told me he was aware of my concerns, would look into it and call me back. He never called me back, I had to call him back. He told me the crew knew that I was not going to use them to move into my new home. He said he told them so they would "do the best job and earn your business back" or something like that. It had the opposite effect.

I waited 2 weeks and never heard anything. I began emailing Edward. I asked for an invoice so I can be reimbursed by my new employer. The bill of lading only has how many boxes/materials were used. After I didn't hear back from Edward, I emailed him to ask if he could provide an invoice or if I needed to contact the corporate office, and he replied that he would get one to me. That was over a month ago, and I still don't have an invoice. I did talk to Jimmy one day when Edward was not in. I explained to Jimmy that this experience and the associated stress and worry had negatively impacted my life. He was extremely condescending - and not helpful at all. He did ask what it would take to resolve this issue, and I told him I didn't know. I still don't know what kind of costs I'm going to incur having to pack things up in the storage unit, and I don't know what damage has been done to my things.

I called to talk with Edward about the invoice. He said he would have to create one, and it would take some time. I asked him if it could be done within a week, and he sighed and said, "I'll try." I emailed again, stating my issues which needed to be resolved. Edward emailed back, saying Jimmy told me he was not going to adjust my charges (he did not ever say that), that there were no damages, that the moving crew had markers, and to call the police and make a report about the stolen houseplant, as they cooperate with police. I emailed Edward again, asking for the invoice. I finally emailed him to tell him I would give him until 25 June to send me the invoice. He has still not sent it to me (today is 30 July), almost 2 months since the move. I am hoping that by submitting this review, people will not go through the same thing I have been through. Truly, one of the worst experiences of my life, and it is still not resolved.

On moving day they discovered that I was right. They had unloaded and went back to pick up another load. When they came back with second truck full, they refused to unload my truck and demanded $400 MORE DOLLARS. They were essentially holding my furniture hostage. There was a standoff and they demanded I give them my credit card again and I refused. I was losing my mind, as it was about to rain and then I agreed to pay them 200 more dollars more so my furniture was not ruined in the rain. At that point they were upset and were very rough with my furniture, and they were not putting things in the appropriate rooms.

My dinette table and chairs were not put in the correct place, so I took for granted that they put it in the garage and it ended up under many boxes. After unpacking my boxes I was very upset to see that the only part of my dinette there, was my glass top, and the chairs and the base of the table were missing!!! I didn't contact the company, because I thought this company probably couldn't care less, would not compensate me, and it was too much aggravation for me. I would never send this company to anybody! I believe they are criminals. Ironically, I told the salesman, that my furniture was held hostage before, by another company, and how upset I was. All My Sons Moving Murfreesboro - Hired this company in May for a June move going from a small 2 bedroom apartment to a slightly larger one in the same apartment complex. Was quoted $450. Was told someone would call a couple of days before the move to set up time and reverify details. Made deposit of $100 and did receive call a couple of days before the move to schedule the time and did so for 11am. Day of move got a call from the moving crew about 8:30am asking if we were ready. As we hadnt got the new apartment key, we were not, advised them of that. About 11:30 and no show. Called their office and person there says there isnt really any scheduling just first ready.

So about 2:30. Crew finally shows up and says they can't move us as is, and they would need to unpack and repack everything to their standards, then move which will take 9-12 hours and cost a couple of thousand dollar. There was never any mention of this previously, but ok, whatever. They leave and we set time for first thing the next morning. Then we spend a couple hours repacking to make sure there was no open boxes 'cause a box of Tupperware has to be completely sealed to be carried from one apartment to another. Later that day I got sick and ended in hospital so wasnt there next day. Next morning there was no show from them and no call.

My roommates rented a U-Haul and had everything moved 3 hours later. Once I was out of hospital and feeling better, I called the company up and asked to have deposit refunded. Person at office says since they showed up the first they would be keeping the deposit. So I would under no circumstances recommend this company. You can't rely on them being on time or even showing up. They will try to add on a crazy amount of rework and extra time that requires. Then they will keep a deposit after refusing to do the job, because they drove from one interstate exit to another.

We had the majority of our items sitting in the garage. He confirmed there would be no problem taking anything at all. On Thursday, June 21st, nobody had shown up as of 2:30pm. I called the office and spoke with Ashley. She informed me nobody would be coming, and that the entire move would be done Friday, June 22nd. This was completely opposite of what Michael had told us, but she assured us it would get done. On Friday, June 22nd, the movers showed up around 11:30. They managed to move several boxes and our beds, but didn't touch a single piece of furniture over a 7 hour period. We asked the movers when someone would be coming back. They assured us someone was coming the following day, Saturday, June 23rd.

Since nothing had gone as planned up to this point, I called the Columbus office to confirm. I was told on 3 different occasions that someone would call me right back, but nobody did. Finally, at 6pm, I was able to speak with Michael **. He told me nobody was available Saturday, but that I would be the "priority" move Sunday, June 24th. On Sunday morning I received no call or update of any kind. I started calling every number I had, but the only place that would answer was the main number at corporate. They told me management was going to call the Columbus office to make sure someone called within an hour. After no calls an hour later, I called back. They seemed shocked that nobody had called, and told me they would follow up again. A half hour later, I finally received a text that said I would be hearing from a driver shortly. Nobody called.

Finally a truck showed up. I informed the driver, Andrew, that his company had failed to deliver on any promises up to this point. Fortunately, Andrew and his team did an amazing job. They managed to get 80% of the remaining items, including most the furniture. I tipped all 3 crew members $100. The following day I spoke with Bobbie **, management at corporate, about all of the problems I was having with the Columbus office. She assured me she would take care of the issues and make everything right. She even gave me her cell #, **, and Michael ** cell #, **. A 3rd move day was set up to get the remaining items on June 27th. I specifically requested Andrew again, given the fantastic job he had done prior. Bobbie once again assured me she would make sure this was able to happen.

On Wednesday, June 27th, nobody showed up once again. When I called the Columbus office, they told me I wasn't even on the schedule. I immediately hung up and called Bobbie. She seemed shocked that this happened, and called the Columbus office on my behalf. When she called back, she told me Andrew was in school, and was unavailable. Instead of letting me know, the Columbus office decided to completely remove me from the schedule. She let me know Andrew was available the weekend of June 30th - July 1st, and asked me to pick a day. I chose Saturday, June 30th. She said I would receive a call between 7:30 - 8:00 from the driver, and that my move would begin between 8:00 - 9:30.

On Saturday, June 30th, once again nobody shows up, and I receive no calls or updates of any kind. I called the Columbus office and spoke with Ashley. She informed me I was not even on the schedule. I immediately hang up and call Bobbie, who seems shocked again that this is happening. She calls the Columbus office, who tells her that Andrew was injured on the job 2 days earlier. Apparently he decided to skip school to work. All My Sons has been a complete failure. Not once have they apologized, or offered to do anything to make this right. I HAVE BEEN LIED TO BY MICHAEL **, MICHAEL **, ASHLEY, BRAD ** AND BOBBIE **. Wow. I don't even know where to begin... and really feel that I was played the fool! First, Peter ** - Estimator - Moving Specialist & Advisor (RIP OFF ARTIST) came to my house and LIED to us! Made a point of telling us he was a "partial owner." ~ Probably a "Partial LIE." Made a point of telling us that All My Sons does NOT charge travel time from the shop to the moving location and that this was something that set them apart from the competition. (LIE ~ I called him once the movers advised me of the $189.00 "Travel Time Charge" ~ He said "sorry, you must have misunderstood." I asked him if he remembered sitting on my sofa and making this claim. He didn't deny it, but tried to hedge around the bald faced lie.)

We were quoted a price with 4 movers. 3 showed up. BUT, the cost that was quoted was collected... even though I was down one full mover. ANOTHER LIE OF PETER **! Peter specifically told us we did not need to empty storage furniture (drawers, etc.) as his guys were adept in handling the weight. BUT... Driver (and apparent crew leaders) Jordan showed up with the crew at the appointed move time. However, he spent 15 minutes walking around complaining about the size and weight of the furniture. He asked if the storage items were empty. I advised that Pete had told us it was unnecessary. He responded, "of course he did!" EACH AND EVERY TIME, I asked Jordan a question, he rolled his eyes at me like I was inconveniencing him.

Both at the old location and the new location, CARE WAS NOT DEMONSTRATED. The movers scratched doors, walls and corners. The movers BROKE furniture. One time being tossed off the back of the truck (according to eye witness "new neighbors" who wanted us know how they had handled our stuff.). Truck loaded by the agreed halfway point of the move. Confirmed the address of the new location (SERIOUSLY 4 MILES AWAY) and advised the movers I'd meet them there (wife was already at the new place to let them in). I stopped for a coffee on the way. Saw the truck pass me. Then headed over to the new place. AND THEN I WAITED! Assuming I'd be arriving behind them, I was surprised to find the truck not at the new location.

I waited 15 minutes then called the All My Sons dispatch office. Waited another 15 minutes. Then the truck showed up. Asked if they got lost. They responded that they went to the wrong address (SERIOUSLY, we took the time to confirm the address. I assume the truck has GPS. Each of the three movers likely had GPS on his phone AND IT TOOK YOU 30 minutes to go 4 miles?) BTW - they charged me an additional $152.15 in Fuel Charges (seems a bit high for a 4 mile move - even when you consider the travel distance that required a standard charge of $189 already mentioned). (So yeah, with the Fuel Charge and the Travel Time Charge, I was fleeced almost $350 for them to literally DO NOTHING).

Before the movers began to unload the truck, they asked for final payment (NEVER HAVE I EVER HAD A MOVING COMPANY ASK FOR FINAL PAYMENT PRIOR TO THE MOVE COMPLETION) - when asked how they knew how many hours to charge, I was advised they'd give a credit or charge additionally for any mis-guess in hours to unload. Not sure this is all that went wrong, but VERY LITTLE WENT RIGHT WITH ALL MY SONS-of-a-**! I received a survey from GM, Shaun ** - Surveyed as deserved - Got a canned response of "sorry for your experience."

I waited a few days to calm down over the poor experience and called Peter ** again. Went over all of the points from above. He hemmed and hawed and said that he'd get back with me that afternoon for resolution after he spoke with "the office." NEVER HEARD BACK from anybody. Shame on me for not reading the MANY negative reviews. Shame on ALL MY SONS for taking advantage of people and for hiring LYING, UNPROFESSIONAL, Conmen who prey on the emotions of fools like me. NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY! I gave them the opportunity to make this right.

We contracted with All My Sons Moving in May 2018 for a mid-June move. 'Richard' was the sales rep. We toured the home and detached buildings and he said one truck should do it. Well they showed-up 19 June around 9 AM and moving process began. Around noon truck was halfway full and 'Andreus' (crew chief) remarked that, "We may need to make two trips." I replied, "Well let's see where we are in a couple of hours". At approx. 2 PM I was told again that 2nd trip may be required and again I said "Let's wait and see". At approx. 4 PM it was for sure truck was not big enough by approx. 1/4 and we still had many pieces of furniture and other goods upstairs.

I determined I would not pay for 2nd trip and immediately drove to Whitewright (five miles away) and picked-up a 10X6 U-Haul trailer. Upon arrival my wife had said she had talked to 'Richard' and he said his crew was still on the clock and would bring all the furniture down from upstairs. No problem, right? As the crew was doing this, my wife and I started to move left-over HHG to trailer and we (wife and I) would load everything. During this process, 'Andreus' approached me and stated crew would load the trailer if I would pay them separately. We agreed on $150.00 and my wife went to ATM and withdrew $160.00 and gave whole amount to Andreus making payment of $40 to each member of crew.

At approximately 5:15 we all left to make our way to Princeton about 30 minutes away. When I arrived both moving truck and wife were present but there was no activity. Andreus approached me and stated, "We cannot start unloading truck until we get payment for outstanding balance." I said "no problem" since I knew we owed $1000 more. I took out my card and asked him "how much" and replied "$2,016.00". I said, "No, it should be $1,000". He tried to call 'Boss' and when he got 'Jim' on the line I spoke with Jim. He said, "Bubba, my crew was having to assist you with loading U-Haul trailer and we have to pay them (or words to that effect)".

I verbally hoisted the BS flag and told Jim, "I paid these guys separately $160 to assist me and his reply, in so many words, were, "if you want truck unloaded you have to pay". I wanted to speak to our sales rep Richard but was told he was, "On the road with a 'load' to (somewhere) and would not be available for several hours.” (My wife called Richard several times and left voice mail and as of today, 22 June have not heard a word). I acquiesced, paid the SOB and work resumed. After trailer was unloaded I left premises for trip back to home in Tom Bean for 2nd load and returned to Princeton around 8:30 PM. Unloaded HHG and made 3rd and subsequently round-trip to Tom Bean, returning to Princeton 11:30 PM.

In summary, All My Sons’ business model is based on deception, dishonesty, manipulation, and extortion. Richard knew he was under-estimating home inventory knowing full-well two trips and added charges would be required. Even the crew commented, "This happens all the time" and "...we do not agree with how things are done" and "Richard is the worst Estimator". By the way, I will add, there is no way Richard was driving a load anywhere. He is Sales and not a worker. This company takes full advantage of families knowing full-well they will pay due to already burdensome high stress levels usually accompanying a move such as the one we just had.

This company should be avoided at all costs. To contract with All My Sons is like signing a contract with the Mob or even worse, Satan himself. All My Sons’ management should be extremely ashamed of themselves for their behavior. I am sure 'management' will say, "We are extremely sympathetic to your plight and we will look into this issue and get back with you soon" or maybe I will not hear a word from them. For this to be going on at the 'deck-plate and mid-management level' is a direct reflection on all of upper-management and ownership. I will cut & paste this review in and on every accessible website where reviews may be found.

My wife and I are in the process of selling our home and moving 65 miles away. A sales rep from AMSM came out to the house last week and looked at the contents (almost half of our belongings had already been moved to our new home) and gave my wife an estimated quote that seemed reasonable. He assured my wife that they had a truck that would be big enough to move everything. They came on time on June 18 and packed the truck. The only problem was that the truck wasn't big enough. We still had 25% of our belongings in our house after the moving truck was full. When my wife went to pay she was told that the price was 20% higher than what was quoted and they didn't even move all of our belongings! I got on the phone and called the sales rep. He gave me line of BS and told me to call the office. I called the office and they told me to call the sales rep.

Three times the office mgr said he would call me right back and he never did. I had to call him and he gave me a line of BS. He said he would try to have a truck pick up the rest of our stuff in a few days. It was a good thing we weren't closing until next week. I still hadn't heard from the office by the end of the day. I called the office first thing on June 19 and the manager told me "I haven't forgotten you". After numerous phone calls including one from the sales rep who said "I think we can get a truck out to your house today and it will cost you a couple of hundred dollars." I didn't think we should have to pay anything but I was desperate to have my house emptied so I agreed.

The truck arrived and my house was emptied and everything was delivered to our new home. The driver then gave me a bill for over $1000 that was approx a 50% increase over the original price quoted to my wife the week before. I called the office and told them I wasn't paying that amount. I also told them that I was filing a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General's office in MA. I felt that we had been deliberately misled about the cost of the move and that their operation bordered on fraud and deception. I would NEVER do business with AMSM again. If you are considering hiring them I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere. It was a terrible experience.

I moved from Georgia to Ohio. I had previously used All My Sons to move from North Carolina to Georgia and it was great. I called them 60 days ahead of my planned move date. I paid in full once they came up with an amount. The move date was 5-24. I admit at the time I did not realize that would be Memorial Day Weekend. A week before the move date I called to verify everything and was told they may not be able to unload on 5-25 as planned but should be able to do it Saturday morning. I said that was fine. 2 days before the move I get a call from AMS informing me that they would be arriving to pick up in the early afternoon of the 24th and they also confirmed that they would be driving to Ohio on the 25th and unloading on the 26th.

At 2:30 pm on the 24th I had not heard from or seen anyone so I called to see what was going on. I was told they were on the way. At 4 pm still hadn't heard from anyone or seen anyone so I called again. I explained that I had to be out by 6 to be able to walk the unit with the manager. I was assured they were just around the corner. The crew arrived at 4:45 pm. I told them we had to get it done in an hour and I was amazed that they got it done. They asked me about delivering the next day and I told them I thought they were delivering Saturday. They got together to call their boss while I went to get the apt manager. On 5-25 I called to verify they were coming the next day and was told they would be there by noon.

At 1:30 pm they had not arrived or called. So I called them. I spoke to John and he told me I needed to understand that traffic was bad due to the Holiday. I pointed out they had told me the crew would be driving to Ohio on Friday not Saturday and I asked where they were. They had just gotten to Lexington Kentucky. I was told they would be there in 3 hours. At 5 pm no one had shown up or called, so I again called to find out what was going on. This time I spoke to Terrence and he informed me the crew was almost there. He also stated that there had been an issue with the truck on Friday and that was why they did not leave then. The crew finally arrived at 8 pm after it had stormed for over an hour (prior to that it had been sunny all day).

I asked them about the issue on Friday and they laughed, then told me they were given another job to do on Friday and it took longer than expected and that was they didn't leave as planned. They then proceeded to rush to get all of my things unloaded, tracked mud and water all over my carpet, broke a bookcase and a dresser (to be fair they were on their last legs already but all they said was it broke). They even brought me some items that weren't mine and when I pointed it out, they said, "What you don't want them?" They rushed me to sign and left. It wasn't until three days later when I went to take a TV out of a box and discovered it was broken. An obvious impact area with cracks running all over the upper corner of the 55 inch Samsung TV.

I called to report the issue and was given a bunch of forms to fill out and send back in. I told the same story I'm telling here and added that in my opinion the TV was most likely broken due to the crew rushing to load and unload the truck after arriving so late. The TV was 5 years old and I was not expecting to get the 500 I paid for the TV back but I was thinking 200 to 250. They offered me 60 dollars. I am now looking for an attorney to see what my options are. I would recommend using alternate sources for moving if you can, not so much because of the TV more about the lack of professionalism, lateness, the fact that they lied to me outright as well.

This was my first time working with All My Sons, and I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. They are definitely a 0/5 stars company. I needed a standard-sized couch moved from the second-story of a home in Arlington to a third-story apartment in Grapevine. I was quoted $159. The movers arrived late, which is not a surprise, but really - for the first move of the day? I was given a start time between 8:00 a-9:00 a, and one of the movers called at 8:52 a saying they were on their way and were 15 minutes out.

Before signing any paperwork, two of the movers already had my couch down the stairs, but not after damaging one of the walls in my parents' home. No apology was given, just a swift, "Somebody talked to you about our liability, right?" To which I answered, "No." It must be nice to move other people's belongings knowing that you would not be responsible for any damages to homes or furniture.

At this point, I wasn't expecting my couch to fare well. 50 MINUTES later, they arrive at my apartment complex (there was no traffic on any routes to the apartment). I tried not to wince too hard as the same two movers moved my couch up the stairs. I had to pay for a third mover "so they could be insured", and the most the third mover did was place his hand on my couch for five seconds "helping" the other two up the stairs. My couch, of course, suffered minor damage as well - although no acknowledgment was given since the two movers rushed out of the apartment as soon as they could. Then, came the surprise of a lifetime.

The third mover told me that my total came to $543. I could not and still cannot believe all the fees and charges from this company. I could've bought a brand new couch and had that couch delivered for free! I will never have All My Sons near any of my property again, and I'm hoping this review can prevent people from making the mistake I made.

They call the move in and came back with them wanting to charge me over 2 hundred dollars more than I agreed on. Then they just started packing up and told me I will have to pay them to get my furniture. I talk to the dispatcher and she dropped the price 1 hundred dollars and told me she was doing me a favor, Thanks. The movers were not that greatest either. They almost dropped several items. I've had much better experiences with people who live under the freeway bridges moving by belongings at $10.00 an hour! I am 100% disabled, with broken neck and back. These 3 twenty-somethings were on their 1st and 2nd day on the job. They were slow, reckless and not qualified for any move. They put my stuff in the largest storage unit @ $300.00 a month, throwing everything in like a football. Broke and destroyed my very expensive one of kind items. Came back to the 2 bedroom apt, that had 1 bed and dresser and a partial garage of boxed up stuff. It was a total disaster. They stole the garage clicker, so I wouldn't see all the stuff they left! Then the apartment was atrocious, so much more to move all by myself with no friends or family.

They had the hugest 26' ft. truck with the grandma's attic above the cab. These trucks are meant for 4 bedroom houses. They left me with days worth of moving the things they left behind, and into another storage unit @ $150.00 a month. Then they had the nerve to try and charge me over $1,500.00! Plus extra charges on the apartment cause I was out on the 1st, also having to sleep on floor! I called every day trying to get some customer service, to no avail. It was just one big joke to them.

Everybody who gets screwed over by this company, needs to help put them out of business. Call your banks and stop payments making sure to gather all your evidence and witnesses, then take them to Small Claims Court at least depending on how much is damaged and stolen. My husband is also 100% Combat Disabled Veteran, who was in the hospital recovery from The V.A. Healthcare system that nearly killed him from their negligence and malpractice. He could not believe what they did to us. Now, we are getting ready to try figure out who can help us with this ginormous mess and help us move to Austin. They then changed their schedule and added another move before ours which caused us to be delayed in moving for a day (which we were never told). Then there are so many hidden costs: tape, boxes, saran wrap that were never mentioned (by the manager David). They never sent an estimator to our house. Also they have a policy of weight limit for the truck that we were never told (by David) so at the last second we had to purchase a U-Haul trailer which was never offered to be reimbursed.

Then there was a per diem charge for our move that was never mentioned (by David). We never received an official contract or pamphlet explaining our rights and responsibilities. Then there was a labor transportation charge added that was never mentioned (by David). Overall this was a racket that takes advantage of people. The moving team was great and recognized that we were taken advantage of. The management of the Memphis office is terrible and inexperienced and will take your money and hold your stuff hostage until you pay. There is no accountability in the office as David broke protocol during the entire process.

The company did not call me all day, arrival was scheduled for 1pm, called company and said they will be there around 3pm. They arrived at 6pm. At the second stop they told my girlfriend that their Boss said they had to be back by midnight and could not finish the move. I called him and said, "I froze my account until you finished the job". He had an attitude, he called me back and said they will be done by 1AM, with the move. I paid the amount.

The next morning I found out items were left at the house and all over clothes. He took the money and the job was not done. Call customer care and she referred me to the same guy, I told her why would I even talk to him. He was the only to talk to, so my girlfriend ended up making over 8 trips to finish the move. On the site all they show is the 5 star reviews. Very misleading. Took my money without finishing the job after we discussed this on the phone.

They cracked my big screen TV. They broke 2 of the handles on my stainless steel, side by side refrigerator, plus put dents in the doors. They broke a wall clock. On one if the bed frame platforms, they lost one of the wheels on the frame. They propped it up with a brick. They told me to look for the wheel in the yard in the morning.

When I called customer care, the rep said it would take 30 days for them to file a complaint. I asked him if I was supposed to go 30 days without a TV. His reply, "well, that is up to you." Was looking for a mover for my 600 sq ft apartment. I called around to All My Sons and a few others to get some quotes. A different company told me they charge a flat rate of 250 and they had a 2 hour minimum and there would be a 100 travel fee. $600 and change I thought? No waaay! So I called the next name on the list...All My Sons. Person who answered read some cheesy ** script that said something to the effect of “welcome to All My Sons Moving. I’m so and so. Thank you for joining our family.” I should’ve known right then and there. But I proceeded to ask him about my apartment, told him I had 4 items of furniture and that was it. He told me no problem, it will be 159/hour and that he was sure it wouldn’t take longer than an hour (mind you he planned to send 3 men).

So the week of the move comes, I remember the guy saying that someone would call me a week before the move to confirm a time. It was Wednesday and we moved on Saturday. So I gave them a call, a different cheesy employee welcomed me to the family, asked for my info to look me up and told me to hold on so he can ask for the coordinating manager. Of course they were “busy” and he told me the dude or dudette would “call me right back”. Shocker: Friday at around 1 someone called me and told me the time would be 8:30. I was actually glad they gave me an early time. They’ll be done by 9:30 and head to the new apartment (EXACTLY 10 minutes away) so shouldn’t be much associated with travel time and then however long it takes them to unload. It’s just drop and go. But let’s be fair and say an hour to unpack.

That’s 2 hours at $159 and whatever they charge for travel (this very pertinent info wasn’t shared with me until after they had arrived at the new location with all of my things packed). Oh and they make you put down $100 beforehand and they tell you it will go towards the final price. Ha! Anywho, so I’m thinking alright 159x2=318 and even if they charge $80 for travel or “gas” (for a literal 13 mile trip) I will still be coming in at around $400. And although that sucked, what was I going to do? I had little to no reliable resources to move an apartment of crap from a 3rd Floor apartment to a 3rd Floor apartment. So that day they arrive, seem hungover, the gentleman who handled the paperwork (Tyree I believe) seemed 3 sheets to the wind, but they did a run through, made me sign some vague paperwork and started packing.

An hour and a half later they leave for the new place (after asking if my new apartment was also on the 3rd Floor and then proceeded to scoff and roll his eyes). I sent my boyfriend to the truck because duh, divided we conquer ;) ...bad idea lol. He texts me from the new apartment “500”... I was in shock. Who? What? Where? When? Why? I called him and to my dismay it was true. They charged me 159 for “2.45” as it was explained to me so that is $437.35 + ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY NINE dollars for a literal 13 mile drive...and mind you I already paid $100 deposit so really I paid 600 some too many dollars which was poorly quoted, wrongfully executed and in my opinion criminal. Will willingly insert my opinion and probably recite or refer to this story verbatim for years to come. Screw you All My Sons!

They damaged my belongings, I believe they just threw some things into the storage unit, and piled it as high as possible in the corner of the storage unit where I couldn’t inventory the items. By the time we arrived to my last location in Richmond there were things still on the truck that should have went into the storage unit, and when I stood inside the truck I found items hiding under and between blankets.

One particular item went on the front of the truck but somehow ended up in the rear corner of the truck under blankets. I asked several times if I needed to watch and supervise. The lead guy said no at least five times, but still performed questionable work. Without my knowing, the lead guy had unpacked my work unit and operates the equipment causing me to lose work! What I needed was piled on the very top of the pile in the storage unit. Watch them, and do your own math! Look at what they did to the few things I had! I had a storage unit that all they had to do was line everything up against the wall.

I have done a lot of moving over the past 10 years and have dealt with a lot of moving companies. My husband and I frequently have moved stuff in and out of my condo to a storage unit for our tenants. We should’ve listened to the reviews we read! We have never had a company estimate a price and then try and double it upon arrival! What makes it worse is we made a $100 deposit that we were told was to reserve a time slot at 12pm. At 12:05 my husband called and they said it would be at least 2pm. This was frustrating because we received a call the previous week and my husband called back and was told someone would call him back, but no one did! They tried to blame their bad service on us for not trying to continue to call back! Wait what? We have to follow up with you after we already followed up with you? This is insane.

Not only did they not show up at 2, but we had to keep calling them and the dispatcher would say they were en route and would call us... No call! We called back a few more times when we still hadn’t heard from them. Mind you we don’t live at this location so we are just there waiting all day because they keep saying they will be there soon... At 4pm I called and said we needed to be done by 6 and had planned to be done by 2pm. I explained I have worked with a ton of companies and while 15-30 min can be expected that 4pm was ridiculous. They said they would get a discount.

We realized things seemed shady and upon arrival we noticed the older man and the driver smelled of alcohol right away. I told him I wanted a quote before they loaded the truck because I was beginning to believe some of the reviews. He came back with double the price we were quoted. We got on the phone with the manager who refused to budge on price. He did not hold his company to a high enough standard to stand by what they promised us. When we chose to go with them we knew we only had a few items and they could move in an hour and then they charge an hour of travel and we confirmed it would be around $300 and she said yes.

My husband is very level headed and I have never seen him so angry. After getting nowhere with the manager we told the guys to put everything back and sent the truck home. Do you know how bad a company has to be to wait 4 hours for a mover and then reject them because they are so dishonest and you refuse to work with a company like that? Please take our advice and take these reviews to heart. We typically take them with a grain of salt, but we are regretting it now. There were 2 younger gentleman with the driver, who smelled of alcohol, and they were 100% apologetic and professional. They really wanted to get the job done for us. It’s unfortunate they work for such a crooked company. I would’ve hired them on the side if I could’ve.

My wife and I used All My Sons Moving. They told us they were going to stop and eat. We said we would meet them at our house because they had already made one trip. They just unloaded our stuff under the carport and told us they had to leave. We paid them along with a sizable tip. We started unpacking and noticed we had a lot of things missing. They basically robbed us when they stopped to eat. We were missing many valuables worth over 5,000 dollars. We tried to collect from them to no avail.

We tried to sue but they had a small phrase at the bottom of the moving contract that said they were only responsible for belongings up to 325 dollars and had to sign a paper that we couldn't say anything about what happened to anyone. That's been over 3 years ago and I am still very angry. I wish I could give them a negative five stars but can't. Every so often we still run across missing items that they stole. If people are smart they should stay away from these thieves. We lost so much sentimental items that can never be replaced. I hate them for what they did to my family.

Do not use this company!!! They use several tactics to waste time and add more charges to your bill!!! They are all in on it!!! I overheard their boss yelling (on the phone) at them because they unloaded my truck in less than the projected time (30 mins vs 90 mins) - I helped them unload the truck once I caught on to their tactics.

Here are some tactics they use:
    1) On the day of your move they tell you that they don’t have a 2-person crew in your area but they have a 3-person crew, and they don’t know if they’ll have a 2-person crew available that day (they do this so you panic and request the 3-person crew, costing you more $$$).
    2) They called me at 12:06 pm they were outside but they started counting at 12:00 pm.
    3) They came upstairs without any moving materials/equipment just to look at my apt and then went back down to get the moving materials.

    4) They try to wrap everything (including things that clearly do not need to be wrapped).

    5) They walk and work extremely slowly.
    6) They pack your stuff close to the doors of the truck so that it would look like it's hard to close and they need to re-arrange your stuff.
    7) They forget stuff in the back of their truck purposely just so they could reopen the truck and get it out.
    8) They bring their own materials (like packing tape) and overcharge you for them in the end, without asking you in the first place.
    9) They do not care about you, all they care about is maximizing the moving time.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, YOU'LL REGRET USING THIS COMPANY - ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE NOT AN ASSERTIVE PERSON.

BAIT AND SWITCH!!! BE CAREFUL CHOOSING THIS COMPANY!!! I just wanted EVERYONE know that I was really disappointed with my move. I was quoted a lot cheaper from other companies, but I chose yours because I was given this amazing demonstration on how much care was going into my move and how All My Sons was a family company. I especially liked that my house would be protected and that my things would be treated as if they were their own. I was given a quote for 4 people originally and after discussing how that was outside of my budget, was given a reasonable estimate that would only include 3 movers. I was reassured that there would be 2 men moving and one in the truck organizing to make things more productive and that all my things would get moved in the time allotted.

We decided to wrap our furniture ourselves. We got rid of multiple items including the large dining table and 8 chairs, the buffet, a barbeque, and a large shoe rack closet. We also broke down all the furniture with the exception of the master bed. I asked that if I took out items from the move if it would be cheaper and I was told that it was. Or that if I had extra boxes, they could take those in place. Neither of these things took place and I was still charged the same. The movers stated they finished a little early, but I was not credited any money. The movers that moved took a really long time because there was only one person moving (at a slow pace) and two people that stayed in the truck for most of the move.

I've moved multiple times and have never seen movers leave almost the entire labor up to one person. Then I was also charged material fees even though we wrapped most of our own so they didn't wrap them and they didn't even use mattress bags to move our mattresses even though I specifically asked for that. I was charged $85 for this service that really was only used to wrap a couple of items and provide a cardboard protection for my TVs. My computer table, the couches, all of the beds, and the outdoor furniture were not wrapped at all. I was told that all my furniture would be wrapped to protect from travelling and sliding around just in case. Then at my home, the carpet, the door jamb protectors, and the staircase protection was not used either.

I am extremely disappointed because I just moved 3 years ago with Warren Movers and I paid less and I felt like the movers cared a lot more about my things. I only chose All My Sons because I was so impressed with the demonstration that really was not even implemented in my move and the fact that it could be less than what was quoted, if we took some steps to speed the process. So even with everything we did in advance (including eliminating a fair amount of furniture that would need to be moved), they still didn't take any of the boxes, they didn't take time to protect our home or furniture, and we still had to pay the same amount.

I wouldn't even feel so unsatisfied if I felt that they were working really hard and just genuinely ran out of time, but I had movers moving multiple large appliances that same day from Best Buy and they did such an amazing job, working hard and fast and time did not even matter in their case. They also cared about how they moved my furniture in my home, being careful not to drag any furniture across my wood flooring.

I'm really disappointed in this experience and saddened that a company that prides themselves on being family-oriented and caring, hires employees that don't follow through with these ideals. I REALLY liked the up-front meeting- it was really friendly and positive. It made me feel good, like someone was helping me out with my move, not that I was paying someone for a service. However, the actual move was so far from this and the resulting feeling was more like I was being taken advantage of because I was already locked in for that time and price. At this moment, I would not recommend this company or wish this experience on anyone as moving is hard enough. I hope this company can improve their follow-through in the future.

Do not waste your time and money using All My Sons Moving and Storage, Though they try to pass themselves off as the same company, they are not. Dennis (works over the phone) is rude, and Isiah (also over the phone), though appearing helpful, lied to me multiple times and has refused to follow-up with me regarding items that came up missing during the move. Juan in the “call center” failed to pass important information onto the movers that resulted in increased damage being done to a dresser and end table. These items needed to be lifted from the bottom because the tops had become loose. When the movers attempted to lift the dresser, the front left corner came off and caused damage to the top of the dresser. The same thing happened to the table, but there was no permanent damage, the top just won’t attach correctly to the base at the moment and needs to be repaired.

Juan informed me that the movers would disassemble and reassemble all furniture that needed it. However, I had to completely disassemble my son’s bunk bed in order for it to be moved into his new bedroom (which I also did). The movers disassembled our bedroom dresser and mirror and did not reassemble it. The screws needed are missing and the company (Isiah) has not returned my calls regarding their location. The movers also removed our master bedroom door in an attempt to get my son’s bunk beds into his room and did not put it back on when they couldn’t get the bed in. Two hours after the movers arrived, I was told that the estimated time to complete the job would be 6 hours at over $180 per hour. I called the company to inform them that I wasn’t budgeted for that much. Isiah informed me that there wasn’t anything that he could do and that the movers should stop now and unload everything that had been loaded.

About 45 minutes went by before the driver informed me that the company had decided to allow me to pay $600 that day and write a postdated check for the remaining amount for the following Wednesday (February 28th), which I agreed to do. The following day, we realized items had been damaged, not reassembled, and there were pieces missing from furniture. I called the office and spoke with Dennis, who rudely informed me that because they made a deal with me on payment, they didn’t have to reassemble everything. I called him out on his unprofessionalism and rudeness and he hung up on me. I called back and spoke with Isiah who informed me of the same regarding making us a deal. He told me, however, that he would check with the movers regarding the missing items needed to reassemble our furniture. It has now been 4 days and I haven’t heard back at all.

I have stopped payment on the check due to the job not being completed along with the missing and damaged items. Once everything is returned/completed, I will pay the company a discounted rate because of their failure to complete the job as promised. I used All My Sons eight years ago to do two moves, both taking about 4 hours and cost less than $600. The company is under new ownership now and the work takes twice as long because the movers are forced to wrap and secure everything, even mattresses, blankets, etc.! This is clearly how the company prolongs jobs in order to make more money off their customers. Our move began at 12:00 p.m. and completed at 7:45 p.m. I will not be using the company again.

Mind you, Neither I nor my pregnant wife have a bed to sleep on now... Their claims take at minimum 30 days. 30 days!

35 days later, they're offering me $4.00 a pound for our bed. ($500? That won't get me another $5000 bed). They've voided the warranty on my bed because of how they moved it, and they won't repair it. They also broke a glass side table, put 4+ holes in our walls, and scuffed up our rented house before the move. If I could give zero stars, I would. This company based in Charlotte NC is horrible. DO NOT hire them for your move. They lied to me to get my move, underquoted my move, refused to come survey property to be moved, this despite my repeated requests that they come survey the move to make sure the quote was accurate, because I didn't want surprises, as I said to them, specifically, "I don't want surprises at the end and have it be doubled." I had a UHaul truck rented for the move and free labor so I would not have hired All My Sons and paid more than double had they been honest at the onset. I cancelled truck only believing the quote. The rep for them chuckled and guaranteed me it wouldn't be double. It might "be a little more, but not double". Well, at end of move, it was more than doubled!

I have been trying to deal with them to resolve this. At first, they ignored my emails for 3 weeks. Then they gave me three different excuses, I call them flat out lies, as to why they won't reimburse me for at least part of the overquoted and paid amount. They have said that they "wish there was more than they could do", they wish they "could give" me some money", but they don't. The movers assured me when they came to move stuff that it would be done in the quoted time, but they started slowing down during the move in spite of my constantly pushing them to move along. They also broke a large TV, didn't protect it properly.

Strangely, the head guy of the move asked me to not say anything to anyone about that, and that he would file the damage claim. I had asked personnel at the company who I dealt with at the onset, to give me the name of person who would review my complaint. They never told me about the Customer Feedback department. When I finally got a hold of the Customer Feedback, (CF) department for All My Sons, and only because the adjuster handling the TV claim told me who to contact for the issue of the quote, and she assured me that settling the TV claim would NOT affect my claim for reimbursement due to All My Sons falsely and intentionally misrepresenting the amount to be billed, the CF person has been giving me all sorts of lies and excuses for not reimbursing me for at least part of claim.

Now they refuse to deal with me because they claim I was not the contracted party. That's another lie. I placed the call, I hired them, I paid the deposit, I paid the final bill, and disputed it. My son's TV was broken and he signed the release form for that claim. It was his TV. I asked the adjuster handling that claim if I should sign that since I hired them, and she said no, that my son should because it was his TV. She assured me that him signing the release would NOT compromise my complaint regarding the quote. She was the one who directed me to file my complaint with CF after I told her that my emails to the personnel at the company were unanswered or unresolved. I detrimentally relied on her word, promise and direction, so she clearly misled me and lied to me, intentionally or not, which now results in my financial loss. She had authority or apparent authority, to my understanding, since she spoke as an authorized representative of the company.

And because of that, now they are saying the Release was for all claims. The Release was for the TV only, and as such was represented to me by their own adjuster. That is misrepresentation, a fraudulent and false statement on which I relied to my detriment. They are the most reprehensible company, that, in my experience and opinion, intentionally under quoted a move, being negligent in not doing their duty to survey the move prior to move to ensure their quote was accurate and true and fair, even after my insistence they do that. I have been financially harmed by their negligence, their incompetence, and their intentionally misleading and unprofessional dealing, or lack of dealing with me in good faith. I filed a complaint with the BBB. They say that All My Sons states they can't deal with me because I am not the contracted party.

I urge you to call other movers. Do not hire them. All My Sons cannot be trusted when they quote a move. Neither are they willing to deal fairly or in good faith with you after the move if there is a problem. I have been harmed financially by their negligence and irresponsibility. Don't let it happen to you. I am pursuing this to the full extent because I don't think they should be allowed to do business like this and because I believe I am due at least a partial reimbursement. I asked them for $300.00. The original quote was for 3 hours at $169/hr, plus the travel hour and incidentals of materials. The stuff to be moved was all packed, taped, in garage ready to be loaded. They didn't need to use boxes. The final bill was close to $1200.00.

Well...I have to say...the sqeaky wheel sometimes gets the deserved attention. All My Sons moving has redeemed themselves by taking care of my things that they failed to handle properly. Thank you!

    Original Review: Dec. 19, 2017

THESE GUYS GET NO STARS IN MY BOOK... BUT HAD TO GIVE ONE IN ORDER TO POST THIS REVIEW. Their estimator sure knows how to talk them up...They dropped a sub-woofer, Kamado ceramic grill, broke a chair, and an entry side table. All my clothes and Christmas decor was thrown in a heap. Totes were dropped and broke with contents spilling all over the floor. They dropped a box containing a plastic jar of cherries. The top popped off and soaked through the box and they just sat it on the floor and didn't tell anyone and it stains the carpet. They will pay nothing (.60 per lb.) to replace anything. Are you kidding me? They put my Sleep Number bed together incorrectly and I have to pay $180 for a tech to come out. The grill will cost $500 to replace. Not sure about the sub-woofer.

I keep getting the run around with the assistant operations manager. They want to send someone over to fix things? Really? The estimate was a little incorrect according to the crew that came and moved me. Instead of doing what needed to be done by possibly doing a second trip with one truck, doing the job right and reporting back; they proceeded to overload the trucks. Crushing my things. I was quoted at 6 guys and got 5. So what do 5 guys do? Try to do the same job in the same amount of hours as 6 guys. They said they were taking lunch and then called me and said they weren't. They were obviously fatigued and starving by the time to unload and someone thinks the a bag of Cheez-Its and a Monster drink (which was stolen from my counter top) is going to get them through.

The 9 hr mark is approaching, everyone is getting tired, one guy wasn't listening so he was given a time out by the super, and sat in the truck for at least an hour. They charged me for him anyway. I paid good money for my things. So far the only thing that has gotten busted that I packed is a light bulb and a couple glasses. I was told I was getting the cream of the crop by booking early. If this is the cream??? They came so highly recommended and I'm so disappointed that they won't do better to do the right thing. I trusted these guys! NEVER AGAIN! DO NOT EVER USE THESE GUYS! THEY DON'T KEEP THEIR WORD!

He made sure that on the arrival end in the new place my dad was well taken care of and that it was a smooth transaction and things were done the way they should be. Going forward I will recommend you guys based solely on what Antonio did. Thanks.

I would give them ZERO stars if that was an option. They were absolutely horrible. You can't get a quote online like most companies and once you speak with them, they call you 3-4x/day until you either book with them or decline. They were the only company we contacted that charged a deposit ($200). The quote was for four hours for two men @ $99/hour plus one-time fuel charge and a $99 travel charge. They didn't tell me they charged for tape, wrap, etc. until they arrived to load up. No moving company charges for that (at least none I've ever used).

The fuel charge wasn't a flat fee like most companies, though that was what was indicated when I got the quote. When they arrived to load up and gave me the contract to sign, I saw that it was 12% of the total. All that being said, this move shouldn't have taken more than 4.5 hours (that's including picking up a couple of things from a storage unit in Frisco... The move was from a ground floor 2-BR apt in McKinney to a one-story home, also in McKinney, six miles from the apt). Had it been 5 hours max, it should've cost $665 + tax. That's not at all how it shook out in the end.

To start with, when I booked the move, they said the logistics company they use would contact me 2-3 days prior to the move to confirm the time (they couldn't even give me an estimate of what time they would arrive until 2 days before the move date). I didn't hear from the logistics company until 24 hours before the move. They had about half of the info wrong and had a difficult time getting it right. I was told I would get a MINIMUM of 60 minutes notice from the logistics center to meet the movers at the storage unit. The movers called me when they were 10 minutes from the storage unit. That was helpful since I live 25 minutes away.

One of the guys was great... He worked his butt off. He was very personable and was very conscientious to take care to wrap everything carefully, not scratch up the walls, put the furniture in the appropriate rooms, etc. The other guy was worthless. When they started unloading, he put everything in the dining room (it was the first room when you walked in the door). Didn't matter if it was marked for another room or obviously didn't belong in the dining room, that's where he dropped it. I caught him sitting in the truck on the phone or eating more than once while the other guy was busting his butt working. They stopped to get gas and a snack at 7-11 between loading and unloading that added an additional 30 minutes. It took them well over an hour to load a dining room table, six chairs and a china cabinet at the storage unit. It should've taken half that time.

Another company moved my mom from Dallas to McKinney earlier this year and did it in 4.25 hours. Same furniture (less the dining room table), number of boxes, etc. These guys moved her within a few miles and it took them 7.5 hours. Yes, 7.5 hours. And it wasn't because they were careful. They tore up the walls in both places, almost everything except big, obvious stuff (sofa, bed, etc.) were in the wrong rooms and had to be moved by me the following day (including 76 boxes). Boxes marked "fragile" were on the bottom of stacks of boxes of books (stacked 6-7 boxes high). Boxes marked "Kitchen" were found in every room but the kitchen and all had to be moved. I had to remind them 4x to put the desk in the dining room, not the garage.

They beat the hell out of my mom's brand new washing machine, tore up the corners of several pieces of antique furniture, put the bed together wrong (it was like a seesaw so it was obviously wrong), broke her Christmas tree, and we're still unpacking and continue to find broken items. Luckily, we have 90 days to file a claim for all of that. The list is getting long. And they told us when they were loading that they're not allowed to move live plants (she had one plant). It wasn't in the contract where it listed what they weren't allowed to move (guns, money, jewelry, etc.) and nothing was mentioned when I booked. So we had to go back the next day to get the plant. Never had a mover say they couldn't move a plant. That was on top of having to move almost every single box...either to the correct room or move it to see what was under it and move furniture that was in the wrong place.

They wouldn't unload until we paid them and they estimated a 6-hour total at that time but then took an additional 90 minutes after that and charged us for the OT which was their fault. All that extra time adds up to more for the fuel charge as well. Bottom line, what should've taken 4.0-4.5 hours took 7.5 hours and cost about twice what they quoted. They charged the deposit to the wrong card, charged $56 for tape and wrap, left garbage throughout the house and garage, and overcharged for the fuel charge. Save yourself the aggravation and money and go with someone else. They were AWFUL.

Let me say upfront the sales pitch from Lexis ** sounded great with prompt returned calls, estimates, and other important details. Then All My Sons went dark and did not return calls closer to the move date and that was a major concern since they did not commit to the pickup and delivery. On the moving day All My Sons sends a 72 foot long tractor and trailer and barely squeeze into the community. Poor judgement and almost knocked over a fire hydrant!

Moved from San Antonio, TX to St. Petersburg, FL. I had a 2 day delivery spread and on day 1 (without a storage unit) All My Sons demanded to deliver immediately. A guy name Jonathan screamed at me on my speaker phone in a restaurant. I had to wait one extra day and All My Sons added a 50% surcharge (never noted in writing in the bidding contract). The organization/company or whatever you call it needs to clean out the supervisors, get customer service training, etc. At the restaurant I had to sort of apologize to the 35 people that heard Jonathan screaming at me demanding a delivery address of the storage unit and demanding I bumper another resident moving into our restricted condo association. I will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau and based on the previous reviews posted this company is in serious management and leadership problems.

I am a military veteran who has moved many times over the years both throughout Europe and around the US. My experience with All My Sons Moving and Storage of Newport News LLC was the absolute worst and most ridiculous move I have ever had. I had everything packed in boxes and ready to go. The move should have taken about four hours total, it took seven hours. Right off the bat one of the crew made it very clear that he did not want to be there and was not going to do any work. He complained all day that the company treated him like a slave and he wasn’t taking it anymore. An hour into the move I found this individual laying on my couch.

I paid over a thousand dollars for three professional movers to move and care for my belongings. This is not the service I received. Instead I got three inexperienced, rude, lazy, purposefully destructive, disrespectful, unprofessional children who nearly got into a fistfight with one another in the front yard of my new home screaming racial slurs and cussing at one another. After the altercation they were so upset they began literally kicking my belongings off the back of the truck onto the ground and tossing them into rooms leaving my belongings broken and my home in a complete shambles. Items wrapped for the move were not unwrapped and items taken apart for the move were not put back together.

Aside from what was broken in boxes many of my antique furnishings were scratched, dented and broken due to improper moving and packing in the truck. The men also came unprepared. I had to give them boxes to replace the ones they dropped and broke. I even had to let them use my tools and tape and I was still charged for materials. The complete lack of respect shown for me, my belongings and the company these men work for was insulting and embarrassing.

Were going to throw my leather couch over the 2 floor balcony. I thought they were kidding, until I looked down and saw the guy standing there waiting for the couch to be thrown!! Wth. Did I hire these goofs? Unfortunately, yes. The couch was not tossed due to my complaint. My desk drawer that holds my money till for NY business was full of change. Well forget about honest workers. They stole all my change. My black and white Marilyn Monroe painting is missing. They broke my late Nonis heirloom mirror. Custom made mirror from San Francisco. 35 years old. BROKEN!!

When I left them at the old apartment they were almost done, so I said I’d meet them at my new place. Well they arrived at my new place and my son and mom went back to drop off the keys - they left bins of my belongings!! Plus a tall lamp. Wth!! My son called and told me. Thankfully he brought back the rest of my stuff. The one mover had the nerve to tell me they accept tips. Unfortunately I tipped them before I found out all my damages!! Thankfully it wasn’t that big of a tip. Careless movers. Unprofessional. Shady. Thieves. PLEASE hire different movers!! Filed a claim, let's hope they stand up and do the right thing!! I usually don’t complain, however I am not wanting others to go through this!!

Charge for "extras" that were suppose to be included such as packing blankets... Take their time moving and driving to get that upcharge, but do not treat your items with care or caution. Management admits to overcharging and then places blame on you for being "cheap". They scratched our newborn's dresser to heck as well and broke a chair leg. We took pictures and sent in a claim. They gave us the run around of course. We finally get back a letter saying they'll only offer us 243$.00. Doesn't even cover the cost of our sons 300$ dresser. Do not go with these people. There's a reason they always have openings and other moving companies are harder to schedule.

Wish there was a no stars option. They were three hours late on move day (I called the office several times and they just kept telling they’d call me back but never did, three times). 2.5 hours after I began calling the office, they finally figured out the truck broke down. I get that things happen, but none of that was communicated to me, and I could have moved many things on my own in that time.

The movers were very nice, but slow (I did most of the loading and unloading of boxes) and I was worried about my grandma’s furniture. There were two men, and for all the time they took packaging the furniture, only one them would move pieces that clearly needed two lifters. A 1br move took almost 3 hours longer than I anticipated.

Now the big problem. I hired movers primarily for my 60 inch TV and they TOTALED it. Giant crack across the bottom of the screen that spiders in places. Won’t turn on. It’s also irreplaceable, because they don’t make it anymore. The movers filed a claim for me and told me not to worry. It would be fully covered and replaced. I specifically asked about the $0.60/pound rule, and they specifically said that didn’t matter, the company would replace the entire cost. They also took apart my TV stand and lost pieces, so I can’t put it back together, had to claim that too.

It took three weeks just to get the claims paperwork that they mailed. USPS mailed. Not PDF. Mailed. Also, they mailed it to the wrong address the first time. When I finally got it, I did everything requested and sent it back via priority mail the following morning, and it was “undeliverable.” Reason unknown. They were able to deliver it the next day (Friday, about lunchtime), and when I called Monday, they said it wouldn’t have gotten to them yet. I sent digital copies as well Friday at 9am and still hadn’t heard anything back. They said they’d get back to me when they got to it.

Called back 24 hours later on Tuesday; they still hadn’t gotten to it. It took until a month after my claim to begin the process. It took 30 days after that before I could follow up again, and they said they mailed follow up paperwork two weeks before, yet I never got it. After eight weeks with no TV, they offered me 9% of what it would cost to replace the items, $157 and said that was four times more than they were contractually obligated to offer. I claimed over $1600, and if I want to replace my items, that is what it is going to cost me. I understand that I signed an agreement, but the drivers should not be allowed to make promises in regard to coverage if the company isn’t going to back what their employee are telling customers. It’s confusing (and frustrating, and really expensive, apparently) when you’re told two completely different things by people at the same company.

When I asked who I needed to speak to or what needed to be done so that misinformation was not given to customers, I was told management knows this and they tell the drivers not to do it, but they do it anyway and that the company is not responsible for what the drivers say. But, it’s your company and your employees telling these things to your customers. How is that not in any way your responsibility? If I told patrons at my job that they didn't have to pay their fines, and then they got upset and complained when they had to pay their fines, I would get in trouble and a policy would be enforced to ensure patrons didn't get misinformation. I have encouraged all friends and family to never use this company. What was supposed to be the least stressful part of my move turned into eight weeks of incredible amounts of stress, frustration, and anger. Oh, and I still don't have a TV.

This move was a disaster!!! The crew were very disorganized, couldn't work well together (had arguments in front of me and my family) and were not sufficiently experienced to be moving anyone's furniture. They damaged my walls, wood floor, dresser, leather sofa, scratched my television and its stand. I did not have much to move, and they managed to scratch or damage nearly everything touched. I requested a new crew after they put everything the truck, but management did not provide one and did not call me back to tell me why. I did not trust these people to move anything into my new house. When we got to my new house, they wanted me to pay before they would unload my belongings. What should have been no more than 3 to 4 hours, was claimed to be a 7 hour job.

I refused to pay as much of the time was spent waiting for management to call me back about a new crew and the guys arguing and blaming each other for the damages. They ended up making me waive all damage at the first address in order for them to reduce the fee. Just based on my experience alone, they should have offered a discount, but no I had to give up my claims in order to pay the amount that was more fair to me. These people were disrespectful and unprofessional, so much so that by the end of the move, I forbid one guy from even entering my home. Save your time, money and belongings and NEVER hire this moving company... even if it is the last one on earth. You and your friends would have a more successful move doing it yourselves. My fiance Vel and I used this company for a local move. They had no experience, used the knobs to bring up the bureau to the 2nd floor, dropped furniture, & scraped my oak wood floors when they dragged my bureau across it. One of the guys was hung over, and the other had no experience at all. They inflated the bill - they made me pay $129.00 up front and then demanded double the estimated price upon arrival at my destination. I asked them why and they said they "round up". They said they knew how long it would take them to unload. They charged me for 1.5 hour and they took 15 minutes to unload. That cost me an additional $160.00 ($160 per hour).

Rude, nasty, unprofessional people, and the management is so sweet & professional when you call, but the reality is they are phony and pretend to get your business and once you hire them you are at their mercy. The people that work for them are not all employees. One of the workers told me he was paid under the table, no benefits, only $8.00 an hour, below the minimum wage - beware these people. They will not answer your email when you complain, they hang up on you. They do not give you a written receipt, it is on the computer but it will not print. All I have is the "advance receipt" for $129 - they make you pay in advance, and then again at the destination. Do not trust!!!

I have to admit that I am disappointed in the service I received. First when I brought up the fact of the safe when your guys first showed up. I warned them to wait and they admitted they knew nothing of the job. When I mentioned having the right tools to move the safe in the truck. He said the company was cheap. Then when the safe did fall off the ramp your driver tried to blame me. I have had major back issues. There is no way I'm pushing a large safe up a ramp. I was trying to help make sure they were going straight up the ramp. I do not appreciate Maleke trying to blame me. I am glad he was not hurt seriously. I had to tell them how to get it on the truck, after they failed on their attempt. There are scratches on some furniture as well that I'm just getting to see. Now that I'm putting the furniture in its final positions. They beat up the walls some. I have moved just about every three years and this rates as the worst so far.

When I called to speak with management, he said that some paint should cover it. I did not feel my concern was validated. I had to grease the bars to get the door to open and shut like it did when it was bought not long ago. It was waterproof but I'm not so sure now. The reason we chose your company was the fact that you said it was no problem to move the safe. They fought with the key issue for twenty minutes or better after locked themselves out of their own truck! I helped them try to open it and offered my phone so they could call for assistance. Meanwhile time is money and nothing was being moved once again, as all four were worrying with lock and with Maleke hurting himself that was another fifteen minutes.

I have several friends that are moving soon and I can't recommend your company with what I have gone through so far. When I asked the guys to load the big stuff when the truck was 2/3 full. They assured me it would all fit in the truck. What happened was they had to make another trip. There were only 31 boxes that went on the truck. The rest was furniture - about 40 pieces. All but three pieces of furniture were shrink wrapped before they got there. I think you should invest in better equipment to move large items and training to move large items so your employees are not injured.

So basically, 1/3 of the weight quoted over our price which our estimator told us was a high estimate! Our movers left over 27 hours ago for a drive that took me 7.5 hours to complete and we still haven't seen them!

The movers told us that the company wouldn't pay for their gas, which they said frequently happens and that was why they were late. Of course, the logistics people have no idea where or when these people started and their arrival time can't be confirmed by anyone in this company. We hired this company because their ad copy said they were a local company and they promised a fair rate in their estimate: "Worst case, $1300." As it turns out, they are based in Texas, not Arizona, and the actual cost of our move ended up being over $3000 for a cross-town move. Additionally, they did not send an adequate size truck for a three bedroom house with garage. They barely got two bedrooms' worth of our items in the truck they sent, not including the bathrooms and garage. They sent a crew of two experienced movers and two trainees instead of the agreed-upon three person team. They claimed it was a bonus that we were getting an extra person for free, as they were only charging us half price for each of the two trainees. The trainees were so bad that the move would have gone faster without them.

Late in the day, in the middle of it all, the team lead had to be switched out for another team lead due to a personal commitment on the first team lead's part. By this time, the truck was getting pretty full, and there was a whole lot left to move. At the point where they ran out of room in the truck, they switched to getting ready to go to the new house. I came back the next afternoon after work to find that any items that they had staged for possible placement in their truck which were not subsequently put in the truck were left in the front yard, instead of being moved back inside or even into the garage. Who knows how much stuff went missing, but there is a lot of stuff that I still cannot find, two months later, including a patchwork quilt that my now-deceased grandmother made for me 40 years ago. I had to go to the house with a 15 foot U-Haul truck twice to finish up myself what they didn't complete, as well as multiple trips by car to pick up fragile items.

They left the house in such a mess, our realtor had difficulty showing our house, which nearly cost us the sale of the house, due to the mess of unused and partially-used packing materials they left throughout the house. Needless to say, once she was informed of what happened, she will not be recommending this company for any of her clients.

At the new house, their crew set the bed frame in our master bedroom and laid the flat, airless Sleep Number mattress on it, and proclaimed the bed 'set up'. The very next day, we called them about the beds. Another crew came, THREE DAYS AFTER THE MOVE, found the pump pieces (which were in some other box, not marked as parts for the bed), and assembled it for us. In the interim, my disabled fiancée and I, and her 75 year old mother who was our guest at the time of the move, all ended up having to sleep on the hard floor.

As we unpacked in the following days, we found food items stuffed into boxes marked fragile, which went moldy and caused us to throw out many of those items. We found boxes marked 'KITCHEN FOOD' in the garage, because, of course, that's where food belongs. We found our butter dish, with butter still in it, inside another box, where it had melted all over the items in that box and ruined a number of them.

We called the company about this, and after several attempts to get through to them, we finally spoke to someone. They're based in Texas, two time zones ahead of us, and apparently don't staff their office past 5pm Texas time, so I had to take time off work to try to get this dealt with. The person we needed to speak to was not available. They promised us the person would call us back the very next day, "to make things right." That was at least 5 weeks ago now. There are not enough expletives in the languages of all of the world that could be added in front of the word 'displeased' to multiply the meaning of 'displeased' to within ten orders of magnitude of how I actually feel about the job they did. Avoid this company at all costs.

We used All My Sons on the recommendation of a friend. Her moving date was 4-5 days before ours and it went terribly wrong so I called the company to let them know and was assured they would take care of things with us. Elizabeth ** was the estimator on the move and she set up the size truck/number of movers we would need. She was very professional but completely incompetent in her estimations of my friend's home and ours and underestimated both. We had a deadline to be out of our home and they could not fit it all and had to come back the next day and we had to pay extra.

If I had made this review earlier I would have given the workers a better grade because they were courteous and helpful, however, our items were moved to storage and we have just gotten them out after being there for three months. MANY picture frames (and some glass) were broken as were other items. The lead mover constantly talked about how they didn't get paid enough without tips and kept hinting that he needed a bigger tip. We have moved over a dozen times and this has been the worst moving company yet. I do not recommend them at all and I would give them zero stars if possible.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! The only good thing I have to say about this company is that the actual crew that showed up on the day of my move were kind and very efficient. However, I was supposed to move on a Tuesday and was given the move in time between 11 and 4pm. I had to take off work this day in order to be there for the mover and because they had such a large time frame. They called me 10 min before 3pm and told me my move was being cancelled because someone got hurt and they didn't have enough movers. Instead of someone from the office calling me, one of the movers called to tell me, so I had to call the office to figure out what was going on. They told me they would call me back once they had figured out if they could find another mover... Waiting until 5pm with no call so I had to call THEM again to make sure they were going to reschedule my move.

I then had to take a second day off work to get moved on Wednesday. After the move, one of my boxes with dishes went missing so I called them to see if they had found it left on the truck or in their warehouse and they responded that they would check and call me back... They of course never called me back. So, yet again, I had to call THEM again and OF COURSE they said they couldn't find it but they would "keep looking" which is already suspicious because if you already checked the truck and your warehouse why would you need to keep looking? Totally do not trust this company and will never use them again.

Have given much thought to writing this review. Our move from our house to apartment was 3 months ago. All My Sons was recommended to us by our Realtor. We had them out and even though we knew they were on high side decided to go with them, because our estimator made us feel they would do things right and he would personally oversee things. This did not happen and unfortunately the crew we got was careless and unprofessional. Not lazy just careless.

We are understanding, not people that try to find fault with everything. I happened to see them lift my grandfather clock without parts being removed. I ask them to put down and told them we would have Promenade clocks where we purchased come move for us. We did at an expense of another $200 dollars. After move we kept finding damage to our furniture. I told them we could not have been more disappointed and could not believe things were not done as promised. They even came with no bubble wrap to protect anything! We decided to chalk this up to live and learn. I am sure we got the wrong crew and others do a better job. If not this company could not stay in business. An expensive lesson. I could not recommend them because of our experience.

All My Sons Moving company moved our home on May 20, 2017. The fees were high & were not properly explained. That's not the bulk of our complaint. There were 2 movers and they both complained about wages and were going to quit entire time. We extended over the top hospitality to these men. Made sure they had plenty of water to drink etc. They stole 3 Verizon cell phones, 2 wireless chargers and my grandbabies' money bank which held over $100.00 in change. They damaged my new home causing almost 3,000.00 in damages.

Just to think how the movers took property when we turned our heads is awful. We were advised to file a claim with All My Sons Moving customer service which was a waste of time because the company is not handling claim. We filed police report and All My Sons Moving will not even speak with police officer handling case or return his numerous calls. This has been an awful move experience. I would not ever in my life use this company again and do not recommend anyone this company to use.

A move is already stressful but to have to go through this was not good. They even said they would cooperate with local authorities investigating matter but did not. Honesty is not a part of their business. The cell phones that were stolen were being used and when I called they would not answer but when I checked my call records they were making and receiving calls and using data. We did absolutely everything the company asked. Getting paperwork notarized, estimates, filing police report. Nothing was done. I would rate this company an F. Once you are moved they do not return calls or emails when you have a complaint. They also would not deliver some of the furniture to the rooms. After nine hours they just put it in the garage. I provided All My Sons Moving with my relocation details (date of move, distance, floor # moving to and from, amount of furniture, etc.) and they quoted me a low and high dollar amount ($500 range). In Virginia, they stated that cost was calculated on two items only - weight (3000 lb. minimum) and distance. The salesperson noted that the actual price would be adjusted to reflect the actual weight. After my move, their weight slips showed that my items weighed half of their minimum weight limit and the distance was the same as what was on their quote. It made sense to me that I should have been charged at the "low" end of their quote. However, upon delivery of my items, they charged me more than the highest amount quoted, plus additional charges that were never discussed.

The carbon copy "Bill of Lading and Freight" that they left was illegible and the bill that they showed me contained miscellaneous charges that the movers could not explain. Therefore, I called the local office to discuss the discrepancy, but the person I spoke with was rude and unhelpful. He said he was giving me a "discount" to keep me near the maximum range of the quote. I had no choice but to pay what they asked upon delivery as they would not release/unload my household items otherwise. After I paid and my items were unloaded, I reached out to their local office for an explanation of the higher charges and they ignored me. I tried their national office (Texas) and Customer Care service and was told that I needed to work it out at the local level. I tried again at the local level and was told that my move should have actually been $1,000 more than quoted but they gave me those "discounts."

I stated multiple times that the weight slips showed me weight was LESS than the minimum and the distance did not change, so how could I be charged more than $1000 over what was quoted? I continued to ask them to provide me with documentation to justify their charges and they continued to ignore me. In retrospect, I should have gone with another company. I thought All My Sons would be fair in honoring their quoted price, which cost me a great deal extra, not only in money, but in time and frustration.

If this happens to you, save the frustration and hassle of trying to solve it with the company. They will only defer and ignore you until you go away. The "Satisfaction Guaranteed" that they market on their site is not correct in my experience. I eventually grew tired of trying to get an answer from AMS and went to my credit card company. I provided the quote and other documentation that I had, and the money was refunded to me within 48 hours.

On May 23rd, I called All My Sons moving services in order to facilitate my grandparents' move from Corpus Christi to San Antonio, Texas. I was greeted by Eric who I told we needed a full moving quote including packing all of their items, that I needed them to come Friday 6/23/2017 to pack and move the items on 6/24/17. We were trying to keep our grandparents away from the moving part so their stress level would be minimal. He told me we could get Michael there to do a quote for us. We set it up for that Friday, May 26th, 2017 at 10am. Michael came and review the apartment, which is a three bedroom but that we had family that were coming down the day before to move the beds and TVs from the apartment.

Thus leaving them to move the following items of furniture; corner crystal case, oval dining room table, 4 chairs, 2 recliners, regular size couch, rocking chair, TV stand, dresser with mirror, bedside night stand, 3 small side tables, 2 small desks, 5 bookshelves, a folding table with 4 folding chairs. There were NO appliances, no beds to move. I was emailed a quote of $2340 + the cost of packing material and include truck and 3 movers, which I confirmed with location owner Stephen.

We went ahead and scheduled the move at this point and paid the $300 deposit. So 6/23/2017 arrives, only 2 movers show up and didn't get there until 1:30pm, they were scheduled for 12:00pm. As for the packing part, we counted the number of boxes used which were 31 in total from All My Sons, there were other boxes used that we had done ourselves prior to the move. They DID not bring wardrobe boxes for the hanging clothes and placed all of their hanging clothes in regular medium sized boxes. Pictures available upon request. In fact they ran out of boxes and even moved 2 bookshelves and 2 desks with all of the items still in them. This stressed out the wood and now is wobbly as a result.

The packing was very poorly completed all around, and by this I mean that they had kitchen items with bathroom with desk room. They did not put buffer paper in with dishes and glassware, etc and did not fill the boxes. They did not finish the packing part until 8:30pm on Friday, however they did pack the truck up that same day, as well. They get to the house in San Antonio about 10:30am, and would not unload until the full amount was paid. Which I was not to the house yet so my 85 year old grandfather pay the amount.

When I arrived, they were unloading and I find out that the price they paid is $3184.00 total. $660 OVER the quoted price. I immediately contacted Eric at the office of the CC location. He said that we were quoted $3000 for the move, I said "no we were not" and I sent him a copy of the email of the quote I had received for $2340. This same quote that I actually never signed because I set up the move over the phone and reiterated all that the quote had said and what I was told by the owner Stephen again. Eric then tried to argue with me about it, and I told him if he could provide me with a quote that said $3000 that was sent to me that I would leave it all alone.

So I received a payment receipt that showed $184 as the packing materials used. Thus making what our payment should have been $2524 total. This is a classic bait and switch tactic that should have never happened. Even after I sent the quote back I was told there is small print that said we were to do the packing? Imagine my surprise when all along, I said we needed packing services, and furthermore, if that was the case, why did they show up Friday to pack the boxes, actually bring boxes with them if they are not supposed to be doing the packing?

Also the actual final cost that they paid was $2970.52 which doesn't even reduce the total they said of $3184 by the $300 deposit which would have been $2884.00. The owner will not take my calls and Eric is useless now. My grandparents were swindled out of $660 dollars and it's not okay. Imagine if this were your grandparents that live on a fixed income and someone did this to them?

And when they got to location thereafter I had already paid them 5500 of the not to exceed. Still owed 600.00. They lock my stuff up and would not unload. Pictures are just some of it. Total nightmare. A bunch of criminals working for this company. Do not USE this company. I can't believe they are still in business.

I am really at a loss here. We have moved 9 times and broke 1 thing. Kenneth from All About Moving took pictures of many broken and scratched things as they came off the truck. I want to give you the whole picture: Jeff’s estimate was off when he gave it. When we found the correct house to live in in Blue Bell PA we realized we would need more things. Jeff had already inventoried the items in our RV garage so he felt he could do it over the phone. For items that might have cost about $600 he was quoting us $1000 to move which made no sense.

He finally realized he was putting in the wrong zip code the second time and ASSURED me I could bring everything I wanted. He also told me that you did exceptional work with beds. Not only was the memory foam ripped, but the mattress was damaged as well. I was also called various times by different members of your team. I repeatedly told people to make sure they brought blankets and boxes for some of the items.

The day arrives to move. It is a Thursday. I have carefully planned all of this out. The guys come 45 minutes early. I am out walking the dog. I hurry home. There are only 3 guys. Even I know that is not going to work because many things need two guys. The guy in charge knew RIGHT AWAY that not everything would fit in the truck he brought. He said he would fit what he could. I thought that was the truck driving across the country so I was very upset and my stomach hurt all day. Why didn’t he tell me we could get another truck to come and get the rest of the stuff? Why was I under the impression this was the truck driving across the country?

After 7 hours of watching them wrap things that should be in blankets like the company we used before, no knowledge of how to take apart desks and tables. They break my beautiful round table on site as they took a piece off that was NEVER supposed to come off (I did not know this til it arrived to the new place. I just knew it took him a long time to get that table packed.). They wrapped a $4000 desk in PAPER. I am not an experienced mover in the sense that I assumed they knew what they were doing. They clearly did not. At the end I am looking at the two Tupperware containers of my Christmas ornaments, and I am ready to cry. The guy in charge says we can call in and see what we can do.

Turns out another truck can come up and get all the remaining items (and I did not get them all it turns out - I left 4 boxes behind in the RV garage). I leave at 7 am the next day. So now a friend has to come over the next morning and wait for the new truck to show up. Very unfair. What if no one could do it? I was picking up someone at 9 am in Phoenix to drive across country with me with the pets.

Monday I call to ask what is going on. No one has let me know. Turns out my stuff did not leave until Monday. It has been transferred to another truck to head across country. It will not arrive until the following Tuesday. Over a week. The other company did it in 4 days. The truck arrives on Tuesday at 1:45 pm. The guys who will unpack it do not arrive until 4 pm. They arrived TIRED after packing trucks all day. They never finish setting everything up. They were here for 4 hours. Kenneth took pictures of a lot of the damage. (I have emailed him and asked him for the photos. He had told me that he would send them all to me the next day. He has not.) They did not see it all of course because they never finished unpacking and putting stuff together. It was 8pm. It was dark. We were trying to find lamps to work by.

I am so very upset. I have never had so many things broken, scratched and ruined at one time. The carelessness that went into this project is on every single level. You came highly recommended. You were no more and no less than the BIG COMPANY that brought us from PA to AZ. Their work was impeccable. They sent 5 guys to pack the house. It took them 8 hours to pack a full third more stuff than these guys packed. They worked together. They had tons of blankets and boxes to make sure everything was perfect, and it truly was perfect. We tipped your first team $100.00 and the 2nd $80.00 because that is the right thing to do. Very much lost money. I want everything that is damaged replaced. I am beyond angry. My husband and I give 100% to everything we do. We expect the same from others especially when we are spending over $8,000 for a job that should have been perfect.
