I had the worst experience with this company. One of their men spent most of his time on his cell phone arguing with his girlfriend during the move. I had to constantly remind them that they were leaving things behind in various rooms, to put the television remotes with the televisions. They dragged their feet when packing and moving me. They gave me one price and then tried to upcharge me another $3000 at the storage unit (30 mins away from my house) while holding my household contents hostage. One worker told me if I didn't pay they would take my things to their on site storage. It took them 6 hours to move my stuff into storage and this was with the help of my best friend and brother.

Move date 06/03/2025. Scheduled a truck with All My Sons movers, they quoted me 210 for 3 men and 2 hours and then 52.50 every 15 mins after the two hours and 60 dollars for fuel which in fine with. Lady said the men are professional and fast and don't mess around. The truck came on time, stuff was packed and we talked about the move and signed paperwork. Then they started moving, I told them that I wanted everything that is heavy go in first to get it done and over with. I have a 400 lb safe which they left to the end to load and my 75 inch tv and entertainment center.
One of the first things they took were the small glass kitchen table and four chairs and my totes in the living room. On one of my totes I have 6 pairs of nikes, 4 pairs were air 270 and whoever buys nikes knows that those are 200 a pair. 2 pairs of cortez's which were 90 a piece, and another tote full of dvd bluray movies. They charged me damn near 1500 for the move and the guys would quit working at times and talk or smoke or make phone calls. I was even helping them taking boxes to truck.
After I noticed that they didn't those totes back down at new location I called the truck driver Drey and he said he would find out and talk to boss Bobby, called today. His boss (owner) Bobby just gave me a number that kept me on hold 30 minutes waiting for someone to pick up because he only gave me a number to file a claim. I guess this is how they get off after stealing stuff. And the movers go through the boxes and totes filled with personal belongings and then claims form is asking for bill of lading for the items that were damaged or stolen, and to file the items that were stolen as property that was damaged. But this way his boss Bobby and his thieves get off from criminal charges of stealing property from customers. I didn't appreciate it considering I hired them to feel comfortable and reliable on moving my personal belongings.

WIN. Larry ** and Edwin are Rockstars. They moved our stuff with efficient and careful Methodist and they didn’t break a single thing which I really appreciate and they have some challenging things to move a lot of stuff but they were able to do it all with a smile in their face. I fed them so these are really good.

My move was 6/2022 in Northern Colorado. A local move within 30 miles. Like other reviews, the quote was much lower than actual cost which was demanded BEFORE they even unloaded at destination. Packing was contracted and took way too long - more than 6 hours for a 1 bedroom. An antique set of stacking tables was completely lost. An antique mirror was broken and thrown away! So many pieces were damaged! I have moved all over the country and NEVER experienced a move as awful as this one. After 8 hours, they left some of my belongings outside on the porch. Some of the current moves reflect this same experience. Unbelievable! They deserve ZERO STARS. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

I would like to first say how pleased we were with the loading of our home contents at **. The crew was very efficient and did an excellent job. Unfortunately things went horribly wrong after that at **. Apparently our things were transferred to a different vehicle and were not treated with the same care our original packers gave it. Boxes arrived dented and with holes in them. 2 Waterford Millennium wine goblets were smashed (cost at replacements.com $179.95 each). 4 Mikasa Solitude soup bowls were broken (replacements .com price $31.99 each). A swivel rocker was so dirty we refused to let the movers leave it here. It was junk. A king size box spring was also badly soiled. One antique gate leg table was broken and a dowel was missing from it. Two round end tables were badly chipped. A metal shelving unit was missing one pole rendering it unusable.
The original packing was from the back to the front of the truck. The transfer to the rented truck was obviously reversed from the original back to front packing. And the repacking was observably haphazard. This was not remotely normal damage that can happen in a move but was caused by your unfortunate decision to transfer to the rental truck. We feel compensation is due us. Please see the included pictures to verify our damages.

I hired them based on their website advertising efficient and stress free moves. No. They failed. They left so much behind that I had to move to a storage unit afterward. When I called to let them know, they blamed me and one had a very dirty mouth in a statement. They overcharged me. Then refused to return the full amount. They over charged. After a while they sent me a form saying in essence "Sign this form. We will give you $100 bucks but you can't leave a us a bad review."
No!!!! You overcharged me almost 240, did not actually do a complete move and still refuse to give me my money. Now I'm sitting here fighting them over poor service, false advertising and a follow up with extortion. I refused to sign it and they better refund me! I better see every penny. I'm not letting this go. Never applied my deposit. A 760 move but they took out 1021 from bank account. Never applied my deposit to the move. Just took it as additional payment.

All my Sons moving does not have acceptable pricing or quality movers. My move took 3 hours with assembling and resembling beds. The three hours cost $1,104.00. I was shocked regarding the price for three hours. My moving charge was $576.00 but with all extra fees and packing supplies that were not approved. I’m was impressed with the speed. The customer service of the movers was unacceptable. The banter between the movers was totally inappropriate. TVs were moved but plugs for the tv were left, the left post for my bed at previous location. I hope they re-evaluate how their company practices. I do not recommend anyone to use this moving company.

Worst customer service, arrived late, did not pack all of house, we had to make seven trips in 3 cars to finish moving. Did not assemble beds the one they did assemble was loose and fell apart, numerous cabinets left full, they asked my wife to go get them lunch and cigarettes, lazy and lethargic slow very slow, worst moving experience we have ever had and we moved 7 times in our life, please please do not hire this company no matter how cheap a price they quote, they arrived with increased cost and would not unload until they were paid. They held our belongings hostage until we paid

I strongly recommend NOT hiring this company! I hired All My Sons Moving & Storage, 2400 Old Mill Road, Carrollton Texas 75007 Tel: 1-866-726-1579, DAL 3607, Move ID **, for my son's move, expecting a straightforward process based on their initial quote. Unfortunately, my experience was far from smooth. The company quoted 209 dollars per hour for three movers, estimating a three-hour move—which is exactly how long the move took. However, when the movers were finished, the invoice had ballooned to over 2,000 dollars, with no clear explanation for the drastic increase. To make matters worse, they refused to unload our belongings until payment was made in cash or via credit card.
Communication was another major issue. Two of the movers did not speak English, and the third had limited proficiency, making effective communication nearly impossible. When my daughter-in-law specifically requested that a box containing her medication not be moved, the mover disregarded her request and took it to the truck anyway.
Adding to the frustration, when we agreed under duress to sign their new contract and to pay their inflated invoice, we were told a manager would have to collect the payment in person. We were forced to wait an additional hour for the manager to arrive with the new contract—only to be charged 175 dollars for that wasted hour.
While packing, the movers made numerous rude and disparaging remarks in Spanish, assuming we wouldn’t understand. However, my daughter-in-law, who is a teacher and understands Spanish due to her work with many Spanish-speaking students, was able to understand everything they said. Their disrespectful comments only added to an already frustrating experience. Overall, this experience was disappointing and stressful. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and questionable billing practices turned what should have been a simple, three-hour move into a costly ordeal. I recently used All My Sons Moving Company and was extremely disappointed with the quality of their service. I paid over $1,200 for what was advertised as “professional” moving assistance, but the experience was anything but that. My $1,600 refrigerator—just one year old—was severely damaged during the move. It now has multiple scratches and dents across all three panels, and the specialty screws required to reattach the door handles were lost, making it impossible to reinstall them. These are not standard screws, and replacements are not easy to find.
The movers assigned to my job were clearly not trained professionals and showed little to no regard for the care of my belongings. What was even more frustrating was the lack of accountability from customer service and management. It took me over a month of persistent follow-up just to speak with someone regarding the unacceptable compensation offer for my damage claim. When I finally reached a manager at the local branch, I was met with a condescending attitude and complete indifference to my concerns. I strongly advise against using All My Sons for any moving services. Their customer service is deeply lacking, their movers are careless, and if your items are damaged—as mine were—don’t expect your claim to be handled fairly or efficiently.

The worst possible hire of my life! The crew stole $3k worth of silver and some family heirlooms that are irreplaceable. When I called the main number, they didn't seem to care one bit! Told me to call the police. Didn't apologize or even a call back from management. I repeat, DO NOT hire this company.... As shady as they come! Also charged me $1100 for a 16 mile move. I had what was equivalent to a 1 bedroom apartment.... Buyer beware!

These guys charged me for moving boxes that they never used, the boxes were still in the shipping wrap and buried in my storage shed. They charged me for packing paper they never used, it was in stacks in my shed. One box was even filled with the guys' trash from their lunches! They destroyed the corners on a chest of drawers. They broke several dishes and china. They moved fast and furious, stay clear of these guys.

Do yourself a favor and do not use this company! The management are not helpful and extremely rude, we were charged twice for things that should of only been once, the hour transportation fee which was a 15-minute commute was one of them, no fault of ours.

Please DO NOT use this company. They will charge you WAY more than their quote. I had a one bedroom apartment with minimal furniture, most of it I had already moved myself. They gave me an appropriate quote of $688.00, when I ask for a confirmation email with that quote, they would not send me one. I should have known then. When I got to my new place, BEFORE they unloaded my furniture, the bill was $890.00 I had no choice but to pay it, they had my furniture. I was very upset. I have heard they do this all the time. FAIR WARNING ANN. Hammond to Ponchatoula, Louisiana, 20 minutes at the most. If I could give them no stars, I definitely would.

Disgraceful Experience – Stay Away! I am absolutely appalled at how this company operates. The way the owner and corporate office treated my elderly parents was both dishonest and heartless. My husband and I are in the process of selling our home, and it was time for my elderly parents to transition to a more manageable 55+ community. On moving day, it was raining, and the movers chose to park in our yard. They ended up getting stuck for over three hours, completely tearing up the side yard of a property we are selling in just a few weeks. Now we’re left to pay out of pocket to repair the damage they caused. But that wasn’t even the worst part.
When the truck finally arrived at my parents’ new place, the movers refused to release their belongings unless they paid three times the originally quoted price. My parents are on a fixed income and had budgeted carefully for this move. They were blindsided. My mother was in tears, and my father looked utterly defeated.
We contacted a man named Travis, who claimed to be the owner (if that’s true shame on him). He told us if we didn’t pay the inflated amount, he would have the movers return everything to our old house. He claimed they don’t provide quotes—even though their website prominently advertises FREE QUOTES.He insisted the cost increase was “simple math,” but even after “removing” the three hours stuck in our yard, the price still made no sense. To make matters worse, my mother needed access to her oxygen tank which they did take off the truck but didn't provide her tubing to hook it up, which was still on the truck. She relies on oxygen full time and withholding that was not just unethical—it was dangerous.
Out of desperation, my parents paid just to get their things and have some peace. The only positive part of this experience was the crew of young movers themselves, who were kind and respectful. Unfortunately, their professionalism doesn’t make up for the company’s blatant lack of empathy or ethics.We had originally booked All My Sons for our upcoming move, but that has now been canceled. I wouldn’t trust this company with a box of towels, let alone a loved one’s personal belongings. Please don’t let your family go through this. The emotional and financial stress they caused us was overwhelming, and I hope this review spares someone else from going through the same.

Never, under any circumstances, hire these movers. They were slow, lazy, incompetent, and unprofessional. Not only were they were 4.5 hours late to the move, but the movers themselves were slow, management did nothing to help, AND they broke my TV. A one-bedroom apartment move took them 6 hours. I also had to help them with the move myself because it was so slow. And the manager tried to upcharge us by two hours, although the move was 4.5 hours late due to a truck issue.
UPDATE: They are supposedly giving me $150 for my broken $400 TV. They say they will mail the check come Thursday, but there is no tracking information. Ace ** from Claims refused to give me the name of his supervisor, he said, "Ma'am, I just work here. I don't have to give you the name of my supervisor," and is just yet another example of the TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, customer service. Shame on you, All My Sons. Shame on you.

The movers were respectful and kind, but when it came time to charge for the move they had me call “Fletcher” and this charge was right at $3,000. A 2 BR apartment 20 mins away. I made a similar move with the same company and was only charged $1200. Fletcher refused to work with me and threatened to have the movers take my items back if I didn’t pay the inflated price right there on the spot. When I requested the itemized receipt for the excessive fees, I never received one. So I will never use this company again and know that if you book this company, they will charge you at least 2k more than you think you’re going to pay. Request the quote upfront, if they don’t give it then hire someone else.

My experience with All My Sons Moving was terrible and very stressful. I arranged a move for my disabled brother who cannot walk and has stage-4 COPD. The move was supposed to make everything simple for him; however, between inaccurate quotes, a hostile driver, and lies about what they would take vs. leave, it was incredibly stressful for my brother and he lost many items that he couldn't move himself.
Moreover, I was quoted an amount and advised of a time the money would be taken from my account. Both were lies. They took more than they promised and took it sooner than promised, but the most infuriating thing is that the driver was hostile (stress could KILL my brother). The driver apologized via text after the fact; however, Thomas, the manager, lied to me about the charges and what they would take. The result - a man in a wheelchair who had lost many items during the move since they wouldn't take them. I was out of town so I couldn't help. This company is a ZERO. I highly advise people to go with someone else.

We’ve now used this company three times, and for the second time, critical parts of our furniture have gone missing. Last year, it was the legs to our couch. This time, it’s the feet to our desk—which still haven’t been found. While we did receive reimbursement for the couch legs, it’s extremely frustrating that this continues to happen. The desk is completely unusable without the feet, and if they aren’t located soon, we expect appropriate compensation.
We were also shocked by how expensive this move ended up being. Despite the short distance (about 90 minutes) and the fact that we moved a significant amount of furniture ourselves—including a king-size bed—this move cost nearly as much as our long-distance relocation from Steamboat to Berthoud. Sending five movers seemed excessive, especially considering how much we had already handled. While we’ve appreciated working with this team in the past, the repeated issues and unexpected costs have made us seriously question whether we’ll continue using All My Sons services going forward. These problems need to be addressed.

I hired All My Sons movers to load up a 26’ Penske truck for my move from Clarksville TN to Appleton WI. Since they weren’t actually moving me but just loading a truck I didn’t expect the Varsity team, but was hoping for the JV team… I got the freshman B team. If it wasn’t my things being loaded it would have been comical. I hired 3 guys and only 2 lifted anything. The other guy was the “boss”. They were all nice but I don’t think any of them have ever lifted anything heavier than their school backpack and they were all about 17-19 years old.
I was told after their “assessment” they would be done in 2.5 hours, 5.5 hours later they weren’t even close to being done. They loaded my wife’s dresser upside down with no padding on the top of the dresser, a headboard was placed against the side of the truck and a bolt on the outside of the truck ripped up the headboard. I had over 9 items extensively damaged and they had to leave and did not finish the job because they were late to their next job. The best part, the “insurance” won’t cover any of the damage because it wasn’t loaded into one of their trucks. I would rather hire the local Boy Scouts Troop for my next move than give All My Sons another dime.

My 93-year-old mother just moved from Lincoln, NE to Roger’s AR. Let me just begin by saying I would NEVER use or recommend this company to anyone! They LIED from the beginning, the whole experience was a NIGHTMARE! They were 2 hrs late to the job, then they did the bait and switch game. We paid a deposit and asked when final payment would be due and they told us when the job was finished. The day of the job, they loaded the truck and called and asked for full payment before they left Lincoln and we had already left to drive mom to Roger’s.
We paid for FULL coverage on Ins. and when we called to tell them of damaged and missing items, they said “If we didn’t pac,k it’s not covered.” They sure didn’t say that when asking for $400 for coverage. They said, "Oh that was if something happened to the truck." Companies like this need to be sued or put out of business. Unfortunately, I didn't read reviews before hiring them so I hope you do.

This was the worst moving company I have ever experienced. All my Sons Moving and Storage. I was told it would take an hour to two hours max charging a $159 an hour. I had talked to Joe on the phone prior to the move and explained what was in the apartment and also had some items in the garage. He explained that’s no problem it should only take an hour to move everything and if it goes over an hour they charge by 15 increments. It took these two movers who it was a guy in his 40s and his young son probably 20. I walked through everything that needed to be taken and they are like ok no problem. I was in the garage with my grandson packing up the little stuff.
The movers arrived at 10:45am so an hour passes they are still not done moving the furniture which included a couch, a loveseat and two small end tables,, a coffee table, a king size bed, a dresser with a mirror. A tv that was already boxed up and another tv that wasn’t. It took them 4 and half hours to move these few items. I’m was very frustrated and asked them what is taking so long. Their response was ridiculous. They didn’t even take any items in the garage and left stuff in the apartment that was a supposed to be taken. I then got a call from the office because I was very upset at the time it’s taking them. Erick calls me and tells me I owe $1100 at this point. I was completely enraged and explaining to him that’s not what Joe told me. Erick did not care and kept telling me I owe this money and was very rude and unprofessional. He did not care what I discussed with Joe. I even asked to speak to Joe and he would not put him on the phone.
So this was a big moving truck and 1/4 of the truck was filled with what they moved. I ended up paying them $441 which should have been at the most $320. I should have not paid until everything was moved and I feel stupid for doing that but my experience was terrible. I will never recommend this company to anyone . They do not care about customer satisfaction what so ever. I even contacted the corporate office in Texas and they dismissed me immediately and said they were in the right for charging me. If you're going to move. DO NOT HIRE THESE IDIOTS.

All My Sons review. THE WORST MOVING COMPANY ON THE PLANET. Move was scheduled between 11am-2pm. I reserved the loading dock for 11am-5pm. They arrived at 6:45PM.. They worked from 6:45pm to 9:45pm.. And when they were done they kept ALL of our belongings and went home. We were forced to get a hotel at 11pm at night causing major financial and life disruptions. This unexpected expense made us have to reach out to family for help. Tyler **, the guy we were communicating with on the phone was very dismissive and careless. After everything that happened, all he wanted from us was to be paid. There was so many unnecessary and surprise fees. When they call you, they’ll make it seem like the $159 per hour is the only thing you’re looking at.
Travel fees, equipment, mileage, a certain percentage of total.. So after arriving at 6:45pm (Hours late from scheduled times) We were forced to pay $798 at 10:30pm at night after we were left with NOTHING. No bed to sleep on, No clothes, nothing. We had also paid a $100 deposit. So basically $898 in total for NOTHING. For 3 hours worth of work. Had me and my wife known we were gonna excessively charged for Travel fees, mileage etc we would have NOT went with this company. We basically paid for travel and mileage fees for them coming to us.. We don't get to pick and choose where your driving from to come to us which travel fees doesn't make any sense that we paid THAT night. They hadn’t went to my new home but only traveled to us. So my question is if you drove from a move 100 miles away from us that's our responsibility to pay? Doesn't make any sense.
We didn‘t have any clean clothes or undergarments because they had our dresser. My wife had to call out of work the next day because she didn’t have ANY clothes to wear. My 20 month old daughter ate dinner at midnight, missed bedtime, didn’t have any clothes to wear due to fact that they took her dresser overnight as well. The next day a different group of people came to drop off our belongings.. Right before they left we realized my $300 Desk was missing. Called one of the guys from last night to confirm that they actually took it out the apartment (Which they did). My wife was there to see them take it out.
So one of their guys was honest enough to say that he remembers taking it out the apartment but not putting it in the truck. At this point we called the leasing office to check if my desk was still in the loading dock and it was already gone. Same area where the loading dock is where people dispose to furniture and trash and that same morning the Trash company came and picked everything up. So my desk was GONE. The second crew that came the next day also left both of my TV’s and nightstands wrapped with material. This entire situation had a strong negative impact on my mental health. Never go to All my sons for moving if you want a easy effortless move!

One Star - Realtors, Sellers, Buyer, Stagers, absolutely Avoid All My Sons Moving & Storage in Austin! Shady Practices and Awful Customer Service! As a local realtor, I pride myself on recommending trustworthy local vendors especially to all my clients. Unfortunately, All My Sons Moving & Storage in Austin will never be on that list. My experience today (4/25/25) with them was extremely disappointing - unexpected charges not previously disclosed to me and poor customer service skills from their representatives (i.e. - Tony-he likes to argue with customers)
I booked a simple un-staging move with them last night 4/24/25 and when I booked, I specifically asked about all potential charges and requested an estimate. Conveniently, no one could provide me with even a rough idea of the total cost and the fees they did disclose was a $159 per hour charge, fuel charges, packing material charges if any and taxes of course. What I discovered after the move was complete is that they charge you for the drivers' travel time from their warehouse to your location and then back to their warehouse. You would think that is a pretty important fee to disclose at the time of the booking, especially since that isn’t a very common fee (like with the movers I have worked with in the past - highly recommend them below) but unfortunately that wasn’t the case with me.
They had plenty of opportunities to disclose that at the time of the booking and during the call I received this morning to confirm the service but they didn’t. I even asked again this morning for an estimate of the charges and still no one could even give me a rough estimate even though they had all the information they needed (addresses and amount of furniture to pick up). So of course I was shocked when I got the bill to pay. I spoke with a rep, Tony, to bring this lack of transparency to their attention. As previously mentioned, Tony lacks some customer service skills and I was met with defensiveness and an argumentative attitude. Apparently, since they "don't record their calls," my honest recollection of the booking conversation was deemed invalid.
I promise you, you are 100% better off going with a company like Titan Moving 512-652-8616 or RWR Moving 737-235-0500 (they weren’t available today, unfortunately, but had I known how unprofessional All My Sons operates their business and treat customers I would have gladly waited). I have worked with both Titan and RWR on numerous staging jobs and local moves for clients, and I can’t recommend them enough. They are so respectful, provide exceptional service, and are upfront about their fees without any of these ridiculous hidden charges.
All My Sons Moving & Storage charged me $50 for taping up one area rug and a small clear bin and to shrink wrap a medium sized sectional. Ridiculous! Seriously, there are far better and more fair local moving companies out there to give your business to. If you need a reliable mover in Austin with good customer service, clear communication, and no argumentative representatives, please reach out. I have plenty of other excellent recommendations!

My move on April 8, 2025, was one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I’ve had. I was charged $1,150.53 plus a $100 deposit to move a modest two-bedroom apartment. The items included a medium-sized sectional (3 pieces), a lightweight TV stand, a queen bedroom set (bed, dresser, nightstand), a twin bed, and a twin desk with chair. The new location was just 8 minutes away—this was a straightforward move with no stairs or complications.
The two movers assigned were polite but clearly unequipped for the job. They took a substantial amount of time with everything—including over an hour just to get from the old apartment to the new one. They also took smoke breaks and wasted additional time packing items I had explicitly told them not to touch, like my son’s dresser and TV. These had to be unpacked after being mistakenly moved, all on my dime, since this was an hourly service.
To top it off, despite paying this outrageous amount, I still ended up moving the majority of my own belongings. That alone is absolutely unacceptable. When I called to raise my concerns, the manager on duty showed little empathy and promised a callback from the lead manager—which never happened. I was overwhelmed by the situation and brought my mother into the conversation. The manager hung up on her during the call, and we had to follow up ourselves. Weeks have passed since, and we’ve heard nothing from the company.
During a time when I should have been celebrating and excited about my new home, I was instead met with unexpected financial strain as a result of being ripped off by this company. They took my money and offered nothing in return but poor service and total disregard for my concerns. I would not recommend this company to anyone in the Concord, Kannapolis, or surrounding areas. They were not willing to make this right. In fact, once they had my payment, they clearly couldn’t care less about how poorly the job was handled—or the fact that I was left feeling completely ripped off. For those seeking reliable, insured moving companies in the Concord and Kannapolis areas, here are some options to consider:

$962.36 for a 4.7 mile move which consisted of only 4 pieces of furniture. Included in that total was $175 I added for any damages. There was damage to a dresser but I'm not pursuing a claim, as I doubt it would lead to reimbursement. Also included in the total amount was $227.61 for fuel and travel time charges for a 4.7 mile move. I was asked for a tip before the move started. I would have imagined $962.36 would've been the cost for an entire apartment not a night stand, reclining love seat, queen bed, and a dresser. I was quoted two movers (only one of them worked).

All My Sons in Garner moved me on April 7th. Worst movers ever. They were being paid by the hour, and they quoted me 1550, but they charged me 2400 bucks. Very unprofessional movers, they took frequent breaks, talked about how they didn't feel like working, how the 800 bucks a week wasn't worth it, and on and on. They sat down and played on their cell phones, I was livid but my hands were tied. If I complained would my furniture arrive safely?? They took apart items that did not need to be taken apart. Who takes the tiny legs off a stool for a make up stand? All my sons padding the house, that's who. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I paid them $698 to move my stuff from my old place to the new one, only eight minutes away, in the same zip code. I'm not happy at all with All My Sons. The movers had been given the wrong phone number, hence were unable to tell me when they were going to show up. They cracked my TV. I filed a claim for my TV, which I can no longer use, and they offered a paltry $150. I refused it, and refused to sign the document they put in front of me. Apparently, all licensed movers in the state of Texas have a standard liability of .60/lb/article.
I think they just used their template and generated an email for me. $150 is nowhere near enough. How can electronics be judged on weight? My couches and tables were much heavier than the TV, and they arrived undamaged. Am I to understand that All My Sons movers can lift heavier items, but not handle delicate ones? It's clear that my move was handled with a lack of care and attention by All My Sons. The movers, Jeff and Jabar, were not given my correct phone number, which led to poor communication from the start. They were also unable to get my bed through the doorway of my new home -- something I would expect experienced, professional movers to be equipped to manage. I paid a lot of money for this service, and frankly, I'm disappointed and dissatisfied with how it was handled. I had a good, functioning TV and now I do not. I do not recommend this company.

I will start with the positives, the guys were nice. I waited a considerable time before posting a review as I needed to separate myself from the experience. I moved in late February 2025. I am unsure if it is the person responsible for the bookings or the movers or a combination. I was quoted one price yet it increased dramatically at the end of the move. Almost double the quoted price. Please note, I moved more than 30 of the 40 boxes/plastic containers (left the heavy ones) we had into the hallway to make it easier and less time consuming. Like all they had to do was roll the dolly underneath them and take them to the elevator.
There were three men; however, they moved at the pace of one. They took restroom breaks every hour on the hour for at least ten minutes. One talked incessantly and did very little work, one we referred to as "Smokey" not only took hourly rr breaks but was taking a smoke break every time I went downstairs to check on their progress. The other one, we referred to as the "Tall One" moved at a snail's pace and seemed as if he never moved anyone or anything ever. I was promised "professional movers" was guaranteed professional movers.
Please check the clause, the insurance is laughable. They managed to break or scratch almost everything they touched. The balked when I pointed out the time and my budget. Speaking to "management" is problematic to say the least. They "claimed it was the long walk" less than "50 yards to the elevator". They didn't seem to make good use of time or man power it was as if they were purposely running up the hourly price (and were). So for the following:

Live in a condo and All My Sons moved one of our neighbors. One of their employees went into the garage and stole my all terrain wagon from our parking space to move items. The wagon was never returned. Have video and still pictures of the theft. Contacted All my sons with the evidence. It clearly shows the theft and the wagon overloaded with items. Talked to approximately 20 people over 3 weeks at numerous offices and in various positions.
It is obvious that stealing by employees is perfectly acceptable at ALL MY SONS. They told me that the wagon is 3 states away. I can take a day and drive to go 12 hours and pick up my damaged stolen wagon. Asked for reimbursement. No ACTION on their part. Imagine trusting ALL MY SONS with your valuables from a company that supports and tolerates this behavior. Did not post the incriminating pictures as it clearly identifies the employee. PS - After watching how they moved the neighbor with no respect of their items would never use this company. We lost a $100 wagon, the client had $$$ in damage to their possessions.

Updated on 06/06/2025: Well here it is 2 months later, 10 emails, 6 phone calls and still no resolve on my broken furniture. So if you want someone to manhandle and destroy your furniture, call here. Then try to get in contact with someone who knows what there talking about without being constantly transferred to somebody else who doesn't seem to give a crap.
Original Review: Call someone else, worst ever, movers manhandled furniture, dragging bedroom furniture out by the back legs, broke glass on antique curio cabinet & broke a bottle of booze in laundry room. The movers put me in touch with their claims adjuster regarding the curio cabinet, who was arrogant & ignorant as hell, stated he would send paperwork and hung up on me.

With the idea that I was told they have cameras on the truck in the cab/back. These guys stole from me, and the team that can see the cameras said/did nothing.
Original Review: Will never use them again. Small items were taken, box cutter, two Gameboy games, old coins. Possibly more. I made the mistake of not having two or three other people during the move. When calling about this issue. The employee/manager seem to have a pre-set response of knowing these guys for years, and that this has never taken place before. Don't trust these guys to move rocks.

All My Sons movers were very professional, friendly and fast movers. I never got a receipt until I called to request it 6 days later; however, the receipt is not itemized. I have no idea if the charges were by the hour or for what. I received an email showing the receipt, not an attachment.

On Wednesday I received a call confirming my move for Sunday. I was told that I was the first move of the day and to expect them to arrive between 8 and 9. On Sunday at 9:10, I called because they were not there and I had not heard from anyone. They had “scheduled a move before mine and forgot to change the schedule” and obviously did not bother to call me. I was told it would probably be 10:30 or 11. I called again at 11:15 since I had still heard nothing. The person was very rude and asked if I would prefer to reschedule for another day! The movers did not arrive until 2:30. They were very nice, but definitely took their time and were not at all efficient.
Once I walked down to see what they were doing (since they kept disappearing for several minutes at a time), and one was sitting in the back of the truck on his phone and the other 2 were sitting in the cab. I started carrying our stuff down to the truck myself to help move things along. We have an 1100 sq. ft., 2 bedroom apartment with 2 queen beds, 2 dressers, and a sectional. No other big furniture, no washer and dryer or kitchen table. It was a local move (7 miles). We have moved 5 times in 4 years with the same amount of stuff, and it has never taken longer than 2-3 hours to load AND unload, and I have never paid more than $600. All My Sons took FIVE hours and charged me $1356. In addition to labor, this included $144 for gas, $36 for THREE mattress bags (we have 2 queen mattresses), $30 for tape, and $40 for shrink wrap.
When I got the quote, they sold me by telling me to “keep in mind that we use 3 movers instead of 2 like most companies, which cuts down on moving time.” I called the local Lexington KY office on Monday morning and explained the situation. The person I spoke with did not offer any reimbursement or solution. She just reiterated the amount of time the men worked and apologized for someone being rude to me on the phone. I asked to speak to someone in charge, and she said she would pass along my message to the operations manager and have him call me. I asked for his name and was told it was Ryan. I had not heard from Ryan after 2 days, so I called again. I was told he was on the phone and that they would give him the message and have him call me. I have yet to hear from Ryan.
I also sent an email with all of this information to (as I saw in responses to other negative Google reviews that Marie Senghore, AMS community coordinator, encouraged customers to “please give us the opportunity to speak with you directly and gain a deeper understanding of the specific issued you faced.”) Of course I received no email response either.

The Wednesday before my Sunday move I received a call from Spencer, a manager, to do a walk thru over the phone. We go through all of the large items in the rooms and then I gave an approximate number of boxes along with some other items to move (rugs, lamps, ceramic jugs/planters etc). Spencer told me that it would probably be about a 5 hour job (travel- moving-loading truck and unloading truck at my storage unit because I had already organized and packed everything in boxes, the only items that were in need of shrink wrap was 3 large dressers and 2 night stands) and it was all going to be under the total amount I had originally planned.
Sunday morning - I get a call at 8:09am that the crew was in route and 8:35am when they got to the complex. I meet the two crew members (Aaron and Steven) which were polite and walk through my 2 bedroom apartment as to what will need to be moved. (The entire apartment will be moved to storage). The crew goes over paper work and explains things which they were allotted an 8 hr window of time. I told them I don’t think it will take that long, was told on the phone call it should be about an 5 hour job and they both agreed.
It took them a bit to get started as the one crew member talked a lot. At this point I’m like, let’s get a move on it. Again, It’s a 2 bedroom. Apartment. 7 -10 large items of furniture and the boxes/odd stuff). At noon they still had yet to get started on the large items. By 2:45 we’re finally at the storage unit and they unload but it’s taking a really long time in my opinion. At this point, I’m starting to get a little mad. They finish about 4pm with the FIRST LOAD at the storage unit. With the size of the truck, they could have loaded my entire 2 bedroom apartment in that truck. (And I’ve now paid once for that pack/drive time and unload)
4pm they take a break because it had been since 8:45am and I’m like sure. At 5:59pm I text one of the crew members and say I would like to be done by 8pm with this SECOND TRIP. They say that should work. I ask what time they will arrive back? They said they were finishing up with their break and were about 15 minutes out. At 6:35pm I decided to break down the spare bed frame to help move this along and cut down some time. They had yet to arrive to my apartment. At this point I’m frustrated.
By 6:50pm they finally arrive and begin with the SECOND packing/loading up. (Mattresses, box spring, bed frame, washer/dryer and the dining chairs and a few other items) I tell them we have to be at the storage facility before 9pm because it closes and my code stops working at that time and it’s now 8:10pm. They are still loading items and must take my couch and loveseat (which I paid for as well to be removed) as this was going to be junked at their facility.
At 8:57pm they arrive to the storage facility. I was already speaking with the site person at facility to tell them the above and they allow me/us to stay in the facility -til 10pm to get things unloaded from the second trip which I had to pay again for this trip. A well “known company” shouldn’t be milking the clock like this. I hope this really was not the case but I’m just still in shock at the fact that it took two trips and an all day affair to load a 2 bedroom apartment and deliver to a storage unit.
I’ve now called All My Sons moving 3 times (2 yesterday and once today) to try and speak with Spencer. I have spoke with the receptionist and asked for her to relay that message in which she said she would do. In the call today, I gave her a quick rundown of the above info and she said she would pass along my concerns. I’ve yet to get a call back.

I am highly dissatisfied with All of My Sons Moving & Storage. I contracted their moving services on Friday, March 21, 2025, for Monday, March 24, at 139.00 per hour. I requested 4 movers and requested that it be completed within 2 hours as I only had 20 pieces of furniture, and most did not need shrinkwrap. They did not show up on Monday, March 24, 2025, as contracted and prescribed. I called them, and they stated I had not confirmed. I previously confirmed via text, email, and a phone call that I initiated with them. The local Oklahoma City/Midwest City office blamed it on their corporate office. For me, I do not care about internal issues. I am the customer contracting them as indicated I employed them for services rendered, and they did not render the service on March 24, 2025!
I contacted All of My Sons Moving & Storage Company and and I spoke to a Carli/Carlee (misspelled her name by accident). I spoke to Carli from the local Oklahoma City Office, and she stated that she saw all of my confirmations and would request assistance to discount my services. The movers never allowed me to know a set time frame, and they called me 10 minutes before the movers arrived. That is unprofessional because I need to know the exact time of their arrival. They stated that because they arrived at 2:15 pm that it was their start time. They played around and did not start until 2:45 pm. They only shrink-wrapped 5 of my items and the job took them 9 hours instead of the 3 hours that were promised to me. They had a new driver who constantly complained that I had too much stuff; it was only 20 pieces of heavy furniture, and 6 were chairs.
The movers changed drivers halfway through my contracted time, and the company only took off 30 minutes, and it was about an hour that the drivers took to replace each other. The movers kept playing around, stopping to take breaks on my watch and my dime! They asked me to go to the store and buy them some Gatorade because they ran out of water. I did so on my gas and my time while they were taking breaks on my money!!! In addition, they short-changed me 2.25 for their Gatorades and I told them several times, and they ignored me. They damaged a lot of my items and I will continue to give them bad reviews. DO NOT USE ALL MY SONS MOVING AND STORAGE ESPECIALLY OKLAHOMA CITY/Midwest CITY AREA!

I hired them to pack and store my entire home while I moved and secured a new home. I then contracted them to load shipping containers with my goods. They broke items, wrapped them, and loaded them into the container with no mention of the damages. They denied my claim for the damages stating "3rd party" but the only hands that touched my items were their team and they WRAPPED the things they broke. How can they say they can't pinpoint when they broke if they were wrapped AFTER they were broken?

This place is a scam. No one knows what is going on, there was 0 communication, and we were way overcharged. Our movers were supposed to arrive between 12-2 pm. We called multiple times for an update, no update was given. Finally, the driver called at 5:45 pm and asked if we still wanted to be moved. We were fined from our apartment and our new house HOA because they moved us at night. Took 6 hours to move from a 2 br apartment to a house. We called the next day as stuff was broken and we were fined for moving after hours. We were "told" that they would look at the truck tape? Never got a call back. I will be disputing the charge as fraud.

Hired All My Sons Moving Company to move my house to a different neighborhood in Charlotte, NC. The first quote I received from a representative over the phone was, "No more than $1,100," she said. However, on the day of the move, the man I spoke to stated that the total was $1,353 for "materials and credit card charges." They never mentioned a credit card surcharge. I asked to pay with a debit card or check, but he said only credit cards or cash were accepted. If I didn’t pay, they wouldn’t unload my furniture.
This means they don’t inform you upfront about how much you will pay until they have your belongings in the truck and can "adjust" the number of hours for unloading. The movers estimated that it would take them 2 hours and 45 minutes, but it didn’t even take them 2 hours to complete the job. If you refuse to pay, the company retains your belongings until you comply.
A few days after the move, my wife and I noticed that a large plastic bin containing electrical tools and paint, valued at approximately $150, was missing. I contacted the company, and they offered $100 as compensation, with a "confidentiality term" requiring me to remain silent about the arrangement. I refused the offer because I felt the company was attempting to keep me quiet by offering $100 to cover what I believe may have been the theft of my tools. I have filed a complaint with the BBB because the company never contacted me again, and I would like them to pay $150 for my missing property and refund the $253 for “extra charges.” The company has shown deceptive and unprofessional practices, taking advantage of senior citizens.

DO NOT use this company. Our experience was horrible. Not only did they slow roll our move so they could charge us more, they included a $100 fuel charge (for a 10 minute drive) on top of the $160 charge for just showing up. THEN they broke multiple pieces of what they moved. I watched them run into my door frame with a glass item on a dolly and just say “whoops” as it shattered. The icing on the cake though was refusing to reimburse for the move or replace the items they broke from their own negligence. They did however offer us $200 as a “good faith gesture” but if we accepted the money it was written in the contract that we couldn’t leave a review or speak about our experience on a public forum. What an absolute joke of a company, attempting to pay off people who have a bad experience.
Save yourself the trouble and find a company with experienced movers and managers who care! Matt of the local Sarasota office was totally unsympathetic to the situation and it was obvious with the way he dealt with it, that this situation is a regular occurrence. He assured me it wasn’t and boasted about great reviews (which isn’t a surprise when they pay off the people who have a bad experience,) however after looking more into reviews online there are many people who felt misled about the pricing and who mention Matt specifically in poor taste. Hope this review prevents other people from making the same mistake that I did. Stay away from All Sons Moving in Sarasota!

My only complaint is that I wish dispatch was more transparent about pricing. I don’t remember the fuel charge being explained over the phone. However, the two movers, Dash and Joe, were incredibly kind, patient with the chaotic moving environment, and efficient. They also handled my items with a lot of care, which I have not experienced with other moving companies before.

Before my 1-24-2025 move (all within the same one apartment building by All My Sons on Friday, January 24, 2025) I had within my apartment possessions, a silver color, rather heavy-duty dolly, about 5 feet tall. It was seemingly identical to the dolly that the All My Sons movers brought in for their use during my move, EXCEPT their All My Sons' dolly had worn tape stuck onto the top part of their dolly that looked to have the words, All My Sons. In contrast, my dolly was seemingly identical EXCEPT mine had absolutely no such tape on any part of the dolly.
During the 1-24-2025 move (again, all within the same one apartment building), it appeared the All My Sons movers were using my dolly (that had no tape on the top part or any other part) as well as the dolly brought in by the All My Sons movers (with very worn, worn thin at parts, tape on the dolly's upper part). About two hours after I had paid my moving bill (Friday, 1/24/2025) by credit card, given each moving employee a cash tip, and that All My Sons moving team had left, I needed to use my dolly, but I could not find it, it had seemingly "mysteriously" disappeared; due most likely to the All My Sons respective moving crew having inadvertently taken it.

This is the second time I have used All My Sons Moving & Storage in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.. I would give 10 stars if I could. The entire staff: those who make appointments, drive the moving van, the assistant, the caller to get your payment, and the owner who calls during the move are fantastic. Kevin, David and Edward made sure all furniture was securely moved/packed and made a stressful move of my 99 year old mother-in-law less stressful. I highly recommend this company.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience in Greenville, SC. I'm a small business and needed two large crates broken down and removed from my warehouse, along with 8 thin boxes which held whiteboards, 6 large moving boxes full of plastic bins, 2 pallets, and 2 sheets of plywood. The four boys that arrived did not breakdown the two crates and only slid them into the truck. Since I wasn't there, they ended up charging me for a full 16' dumpster size load ($1,300). When I called the next morning, they dodged my call until I called the toll free number and got transferred to the operations manager.
I explained to him that they over charged me and that it couldn't have been more than a half truck load. He argued with me about how much stuff I had and basically told me that I was wrong and that my stuff filled up a whole dumpster. He said he was looking at the dumpster himself and I said that I would like to come see the dumpster myself, but then he said that it had already been taken off to the dump. I wish there was some recourse for me, but it seems that I am just stuck with a ridiculous bill and a lying operations manager.

I got a phone estimate of $311. Final bill was $811 (after they have all the stuff loaded on the truck). There was no change in the work required. The estimate of work was complete and accurate. But the extra fees were high. My complaint is that they knew when they gave the $311 estimate that the final bill was going to be $800. The estimate was just a flat out LIE. If you ask these guys for an estimate, you need to demand an estimate of the final cost, including all their add-ons. I have no complaint about the actual moving.

I told them my antique buffet was fragile and not to scoot it. It had to be picked up to be moved. They said they didn’t scoot it. The leg just “fell” off. Clearly you can see in the picture that they snapped it off. My china cabinet had to have been squeezed or the glass would not have broken in the manner shown. My husband told them his gun cabinet was 2 pieces, but they insisted on wrapping it as one pieces and when unwrapped it fell and busted apart. Very incompetent old man. Very disappointed.

SHADY! They called 2 days prior to moving, by who I believe was the operations manager, to let know what time they would be there. During that conversation, he let me know that it would be 30 more dollars than the original estimate that was agreed-upon before taking a deposit due to the call center not knowing the right process and that I needed an additional person.
Customer should not be penalized for mistakes made by the company. A price was promised. That price was not guaranteed. Angry, I asked to speak with the GM Vincent **. After venting my frustrations and explaining that was a bait and switch two days before move-in on pricing. He said my business did not matter that my one star review would do nothing to his other five stars. That he gets plenty of other customers and he can decide who he does business with because he's the GM and he is providing a service to me. So I had no choice but to accept his alternatives which none worked for me the customer.
He then canceled my reservation stating that he believed I would be mean and rude to his drivers. Which I stated I always have food and waters for my movers. He hung up on me. I had to call back and explain that he couldn't just cancel an appointment that I left a deposit on and that everything he's saying is bad customer service and bad business. He did not care. The GM of All My Sons Moving does not value their customers and just wants to take their money and take advantage of people. And believes that he gets to dictate the rules for a service that I am paying for. It’s not my fault clear expectations were not made when I was fully open and honest about the move.
They have lost my business from any future dealings and I will do everything in my power to tell everybody not to work with them. It's a shame having somebody in leadership like that speaking to a customer like that and promoting bait and switch on pricing. If a company makes a mistake they should eat it. It’s not my fault you don’t train your staff.
I found better rates and a friendlier customer service with College Hunks. If the owners are looking at their reviews, you should reconsider your GM or at least give him some training on public relations. His ego cost the company money. He had an opportunity to create a loyal get a guaranteed 5 star review and happy customer with his "There is another one of you that will call mentality.". Now they get a one star review and an honest review of my experience.

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I hired All My Sons Moving based on their good reviews, but DO NOT BE FOOLED like I was! What should have been a simple 3-bedroom move, estimated by multiple employees to take 8 hours, turned into a nightmare lasting 15 HOURS. Because of their incompetence, we were stranded overnight and forced to stay in a hotel—with three dogs! But the time delay was just the beginning. They DESTROYED almost everything I own—my mattress, my kid’s car bed, my $4,000 TV, my couch, and even both the home we moved out of and the new one. On top of that, they STOLE items from our move and didn’t even complete the job.
After racking up over $15,000 in damages, they had the nerve to charge me $3,000 for the move—and held my belongings hostage until I paid. This is, without a doubt, the worst moving experience I have ever had. Even their own employees admitted that the company is a scam and robs customers. RUN FAR AWAY from this company! Save yourself the stress, financial loss, and heartbreak. This company is a complete scam!

Their customer service is condescending, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. They break your stuff and then gaslight you into thinking it’s somehow your problem. We had GREAT guys doing our move. It was a very big job and they crushed it. Dash, Caleb, Chez, Dan, Keith, Josh, Zach and Anthony were awesome. They worked super hard and moved really fast. The team took great care of our belongings and checked in with us throughout the whole process. They made a stressful move so much easier. I recommend this team. The moving window was only off by thirty minutes, but that led to the best part of the day when Andrew, Israel and Mark showed up and began the whirlwind of the best professional move that I have ever had done. Don't use them!! The movers lied about how much supplies they used claiming to use 6 tapes and 2 wraps. Charge me 150 dollars when they boxed up one box (one pictured using brown tape) and wrap out a sectional. I was charged 1000 plus for them to go 15 miles and do 4.5 hrs of work. I never got my deposit back too. I was able to call the company headquarters and get a refund but they shouldn't have try to cheat me out of my money. Looking out for the next person. This was my WORST moving experience. I was recommended 2 movers (they were kind and nice fellas). They arrived on time but did tell me they were tired. This along with their physique left them unable to efficiently manage my move timely. They were in a bad mood and complained about their boss as well as how they are treated by the company which was negative. It took them double the time and it cost me more in the long run. They struggled with a sleeper sofa and my bedroom furniture so they kept taking breaks and asking for help from their office. He came but wasn’t as helpful as he should have been. If you want to pay people to destroy your belongings just get a bull and let it loose in your house. The movers showed up late, without tools to break down furniture, and had a very difficult time moving objects. The movers weren’t informed by the head office that the second location would be on the second floor which shows a lack of attention to detail on the head office’s part. I myself had to help the movers move my couch up the stairs after they decided to take the protective coverings on the couch off.
Why should I pay for these products if they aren’t going to use them effectively? Why am I paying to move myself and have my bed frame destroyed because they don’t understand simple tools? You are better off paying a friend to help rather than being nickel and dimed by this horrible company. They also have horrible customer service and would rather give you a horrible move and take the bad review than do anything to resolve their mistakes. Don’t use this company.

All my stuff was in the same great condition as it was before the move, Hector and Dash were great and careful that the job was done to my satisfaction and that the move was completed relatively fast. All My Sons is not at all what they say. At the beginning, I should have seen the many red flag. Number 1, they for some reason, could not send me a contract. They had many excuses for not getting it to me (my email must not be working, their tech department was having problems with certain emails, maybe it was in junk mail, maybe they had the wrong email address, etc.). In the meantime, I called over and over to get the contract. Paul from Hilton Head said don't worry about it. This was their plan from the get-go as they were all so very nice!!
I was so frustrated and then on Sunday before my move on Monday, a representative from AMS called and said she would send me a text with the major points of the contract. At that point, I took out insurance (Option #1) as she said. She text that I would be covered for $12,936.00 and I would just pay more money for Option 1. Since no one could send me a contract, she asked me to reply to the text saying I agreed with her text. I did, but still no written contract. All My Sons really put on a 'good show' to get your money, but do not back it up. Do not Use Them!
Bottom line, they dropped a very expensive glass table top and broke it. I filled a claim and they wanted to give me $100.00. What a joke. The racetrack oval table top to replace is $2,500.00. The claims department was extremely rude - I was never able to contact the person (Amber **) that sent the document to sign for $100.00 even though I called and left a message 3 time and wrote emails 3 times. No response! I called the Hilton Head AMS office where my move originated to talk to a manager and I was told, the manager would not be in until tomorrow. I called right back and guess what - the manager (Cory) answered the phone. I was told Amber was always 'unavailable'. This AMS moving company is a corrupt company! I will never recommend or use this company again. I hope you will take my advice. AMS should not even get a 1 star.

They lost a glass shelf and to make it even worse, they charged us $60 for the packing material for that shelf. We have tried to reach someone live at the company but no one will return our calls.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! THEY DO NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR. Almost $950 for a ONE bedroom apartment move 15 miles down the road. They put things on the material bill that were not used, and if YOU do not catch it then you will be forced to pay it, and we are not talking pennies, it was almost $100, luckily we caught it and got it taken off the bill as only one box and a roll of tape was used by them. Manager acted like I should be grateful they took the false charge off. Travel time is an extra $149, NOT included in the move.
Labor charge 149 x however many hours (even if they talk on the phone for half an hr with manager due to wrong charges, YOU are paying it), fuel charge 105+ dollars, If you decide not to use junk removal they will "offer a discounted rate" and basically press and corner you until you give in to their fee...which the 50% off discount made it 99 dollars for dresser and another small item that they insisted could not be moved to the dumpster and had to be removed by them. And be prepared to help move things yourself, lots of things, otherwise they will tack on extra time due to VERY slow moving. Want your movers to disappear for 20 minutes then charge you? Yeah, they do that too. Then, the workers will corner you and ask you repeatedly for "gratuity".... awkward when being overcharged at best and very uncomfortable as a single female at worst.
This is not a "family run business", family businesses would have a shred of integrity. And do not try to talk to Ace, he will adamantly defend that since she "agreed" to an -AT THE TIME UNKNOWN PRICE-, that she is stuck with it and will defend why the customer is wrong and they are right even though YOU had to catch their wrong overpriced materials not used. Avoid this company at all costs. I did speak to another location and the lady was very kind but this whole experience was awful. Use this business at your own risk and SEVERAL hidden charges THAT YOU WILL NOT KNOW UNTIL THEY SHOW UP at the destination.
RECAP- Just for them to show up is 149 for "travel", then the fuel charge which is a percent of of the TOTAL bill, then the labor cost per hour while they take their sweet time, then whatever materials they decide to pull out of their butt that they didn't use and hope you don't catch it, then don't forget to tip because they will hound you for it....beware my friends. PS- we moved all the clothes and shoe racks/shoes/lamps/air purifier and pillows ourselves. For almost 1000.00 dollars and they thought they did a great job worthy of a tip :/ UNBELIEVABLE.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I had AMS move my heavy furniture into storage and handled all the smaller items myself. The quote given at the time of booking was wayyy underestimated from my actual cost and I ended up paying 3x more for this move compared to a very similar move from a different company about 2 years prior.
In addition to the exorbitant moving cost, 6 of the 8 pieces of furniture they moved were damaged. I submitted a damage claim showing all of the furniture damage and even tracked down invoiced of all the furniture proving cost, age of furniture, etc. I was offered a LAUGHABLE settlement for the damages incurred. I have tried speaking to the claims team but the customer service team gives very vague and non-quantifiable information for getting additional repair funds approved. I am so beyond disappointed in this company and will never give them my business again - partially because of the poor handling of my items but predominantly because I have only been met with sarcasm and a lack of remorse from this money-hungry company.

I want to clarify that Caleb & Anthony gave nothing less of 5 star service! 10/10! Caleb & Anthony were both equally kind, respectful, and EXTREMELY STRONG AND CAPABLE. They absolutely BODIED our move, I would absolutely recommend them. Incredible duo that got the job done insanely quickly. They loaded our 2bedroom/1bath house in under an hour then only took 1 full hour to unload. We are very grateful for Caleb & Anthony's help during our move!
I am leaving a 4 star review because the 10am-4pm time window is absolutely insane. We spent the entire day waiting for them to show up which was the only negative part of the entire experience. Due to the 6hr window, we didn't end up starting our moving day until they showed at 4pm and so we weren't able to start unpacking until dinner time which really sucked. I think having smaller time windows would give you more customer satisfaction, but I'm sure there is a method to the madness. Anyways, thank you to Caleb & Anthony! They both deserve the highest pay & a bonus. Maybe a vacation too!

On February 8,2024 I contracted All My Sons Moving and Storage to move me from one house to another. During the move one of the movers stole my property. I immediately called EJ the supervisor concerning this issue. At no time were they concerned about me or my property. Just shielded the person who stole my property. I made the statement that "All I want is my property back now!!" However, they did nothing for me on my behalf for their own employee who committed a larceny (Felony) who stole my property. So had no other choice but to file a police report. After receiving a copy of the police report that was written, a copy was provided to All My Sons Moving and Storage. The employee that stole my property was fired the next day. His picture is attached.
Several letters were sent by registered mail to their own CEO Robert Peterson, requesting that he resolve this issue rather than going to court. The response was zero. He cannot even except responsibility of his own employees for their actions. I will be filing in small claims court for the replacement value of my property and also for breach of contract because of what they did to me.

Scammers. Double charged a $100 deposit and then charged us $680 to move a 1 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom apartment in the same complex. So total cost was $880 to move very little within the same apartment complex. Now don’t know how I’m supposed to pay rent. Scammers. Go anywhere else.

I read the pricing on this page stating local moves start at $200. BEWARE - NO, in Fort Myers you are charged upfront $199 labor for 3 movers and a $288 fee for depreciation, licensing, taxes, fuel on the truck used. So in reality the bare bones minimum without even picking up a piece of furniture is $487. I moved from one apartment building to another - a 560 square foot apartment 9/10ths of a mile away. I took care of the pantry, utility, closets and bathroom - they did not touch a thing there. I was talked into a third person because it would cut the time involved in half? Don't do it. Talked into the free dish pack and as I am single with bare bones dishware I took advantage of it.
The two loaders were through loading the furniture that was limited to 7 pieces within two hours if not less. The dish packer took three hours to wrap the dishes that was basically less than 36 pieces. The bill for a studio sized apartment was $1482 - 9/10th of a mile. The crew was nice but quick to tell me upfront that they didn't view a gratuity as a tip and if I was so inclined to please pay cash as it could not be added on a credit card. There was a deliberate dragging of feet from the get go. They came up to my unit and gawked at the view for a few minutes and joked around about living there, how much does it cost etc, etc.
Finally it was time to get to work and like I said DO NOT bite on the free dish pack - they will truly take their sweet time on that one. I was paying for a crew of three when the whole last hour two of them were nowhere to be found. Not at the truck - out doing??? The final straw was when they were through they all stood there with their phones trying to get a signal at my new place - took three of them 15 minutes to calculate the cost. Mind you one of them said "Let's just call it in," but there was one that insisted she wanted to try the online payment. This was not customer focused, mindful of the clock but more a deliberate stretching of the time involved. Hustle was not existent.
I did call the Operations Manager and was met with an attitude of he does not like emails and prefers brevity in resolving issues. In other words I was dismissed, he was not interested in the details of what happened to possibly gain insight as to how he might train the crew to be more efficient timewise. I was left with a sour taste that maybe they encourage their employees to drag their feet and get that bill up there.
I am a military brat and have moved ten times in life's pursuits. I have become more of a minimalist as I get older - downsizing big time and know from previous experiences with a family of 5 that the dishpack involved was so flagrantly blown out of proportion in the time involved. Please shop around. After getting the bill - remember that $487 before they lift a finger! After getting an itemized receipt I googled a local move for an apartment my size and it should have varied between $300 and $600 - definitely not almost $1500. A local move!! I have a co-worker that moved locally in an equally competitive growing population area and her move for a two bedroom with a W/D, lawn mover, gym equipment and far more kitchen appliances, dishware was $800. Do I feel I got gouged? A resounding yes.
After complaining I was given a $238 credit and again dismissed with "I prefer brevity". They acted as though because they reached out after I wrote them an email that they had heroically reached out and called me. I believe that is called customer service myself. I suggested in return his vocabulary might involve "hustle" with his employees. I do not pay people to gawk at a view, ask me how much my rent is etc and I definitely do not appreciate paying 3 people at $199 an hour for fifteen minutes of trying to get a internet signal versus calling the number of boxes etc involved in. Complete joke.

I am deeply disappointed with the service provided by All My Sons Moving. What should have been a professional and seamless process turned into an incredibly stressful and frustrating experience. Their lack of organization, respect for our belongings, and poor communication made this move far more difficult than it needed to be. To begin with, they were not transparent with their pricing. They kept telling me the pack and move would take three days, but only quoted two days broken down into hours, making it difficult to catch on the quote.
The packing process was especially disastrous. It’s clear this company should not be in the business of packing at all. Wardrobe boxes were filled only a quarter of the way full of towels, wasting space and resources. Some boxes contained fragile items like glass vases placed unwrapped alongside books and other belongings, resulting in damage. Several of our items were broken, scratched, or ruined, including cherished family photos and furniture.
The lack of care and attention to detail made it clear that our belongings were not treated with the respect they deserved. On top of that, the disorganized packing and labeling caused significant confusion and stress during unpacking. We also have to hire professional cleaners for both homes as they were extremely disrespectful to our carpets and wood floors. I will have to replace carpet in a portion of my old home before we put it on the market and when I asked for them to put on booties during the packing to avoid tracking dirt onto rugs, I was simply told "no".
I also had to make alternative arrangements for my family to stay in a hotel, as the chaos of the move made it unsafe for my toddler to be at home. This was a major inconvenience and something no family should have to endure during a move. I expected professionalism and care from a moving company, but All My Sons failed to deliver on both counts. Their practices and lack of respect for customers' homes and belongings make it clear they are not suited for packing or moving services. The nightmare began when the company sent out 3 men with rather slender builds to handle furniture that included a piano and refrigerator. They simply weren't physically equipped to manage such large and heavy items. These items had been discussed when booking the move so the company was well aware. I was also not provided with all the details of the costs such as amount of fuel charge, packing supply cost, overtime charges at the time of booking the move. I was presented with a multi page contract by the movers with the fine print that I was supposed to read and sign while they were on the clock at $179/hour. I was immediately put in a spot where I had a house full of furniture to be moved. They proceeded to wrap our items and while I must say the crew was very polite at all times...the company was a horrible experience.
The movers began about 9:45Am and moved slowly which took them into overtime and we had to finally decide we would not have them move all the items and we would get a Uhaul the next day. There was no planned lunch break and they had nothing to eat. I bought food to feed them. They had to make two trips and the first trip they followed my husband to our new home about 5 miles and 3 turns away. The second trip they made on their own and got lost costing another half hour of time and money minimally. When I booked the reservation I told the company that our address was a little confusing and she told me that the movers would be from the area and would know how to get to the right location. Nope. Didn't happen without us guiding them by phone. When they arrived at our location with the final load they presented a bill that was exorbitant (about 3200.00) and held our items hostage on the truck until the bill was paid.
A quote on amount of time to move our inventory was never provided to us up front and since they moved slowly and got lost the costs just kept growing. The finale of the moving nightmare was when our $2500 refrigerator (2 1/2 years) was dropped totally destroying it. Again not equipped to move such items. After complaining about the bill they took a few hundred off but the bill was still incredibly high. This company was a complete nightmare which seemed unending.

PLEASE STAY AWAY AND READ THE REVIEWS. They have an overall ONE-STAR rating on Yelp for a reason. I wish I had read the reviews before hiring them. 1) I had never used a moving company before. All My Sons was the second company I called. The first company I spoke to quoted me $100 an hour -- but charged $300 minimum--so, if my move only took one hour, I was going to be charged $300. They also said they charged $15 a mile for gas. As I had never used a mvoing company before, this seemed like a lot and I wanted to get another quote.
So, I called All My Sons next. I was quoted $149 an hour. I talked to a "Hayley" and even asked her/told her about the other company and their quote. She quoted me $149 an hour again. PERIOD. I WAS NEVER INFORMED, ever, beforehand, that this "hour" began an HOUR BEFORE the company even got to my house. Nor was I EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER INFORMED I HAD TO PAY FOR GAS. Not once. NEVER. Again, Hayley said "it's $149 an hour." That is all she told me. So, I paid my $100 security deposit and said "you're hired!"
My move was under 5 miles from one location to the other. It took THREE hours to move a queen bed, a full bed, a twin bed, two small dressers, two large dressers, a small tv stand, a very lightweight kitchen table, 4 chairs and a washer and dryer. That in and of itself was ridiculous. However, that should have been not quite $600. I was charged over $1,000!!! Which absolutely does NOT equal $149 an hour. You all lied. I was duped.
2) I scheduled my move for Saturday, December 7. At 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, I had not heard from anyone. So, after wasting my whole day waiting for the movers from All My Sons to arrive, I called to see what the ETA was going to be. Let me repeat -- I CALLED ALL MY SONS TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON. After I CALLED this company, I was informed that their movers were still at a previous job and my move would need to be rescheduled to the next day. I couldn't believe it. When were you going to let me know this? It's simply NOT OKAY. Again, you all lied. So, I then wasted ANOTHER day because of All My Sons. It was beyond woefully incredible.
I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I am still in disbelief that I had this move scheduled for Saturday, December 7, at $149 an hour -- and nobody called to tell me that the move wouldn't happen that day -- and that I ended up moving on Sunday, December 8, and paid over $1,000 for a THREE-HOUR-MOVE. I was duped on every single level. So extremely dishonest. Furthermore, there are black marks on my newly painted bedroom wall from where your movers hit the bed against the wall.

The 3 guys that moved me were kind and courteous. They did a good job. However, I was overcharge for 4 items that were not used in the move totaling $84. I contacted the manager after my move and was told this would be resolved by Jan 14. I did not hear back and when I reached out to Keith he said he did not know if it would be resolved today or tomorrow and he had not idea when it would be changed. I am just asking for the overcharge for items that were not used in my move be reimbursed to me. When I told him this was not acceptable and that I would write a Google review he stated that he would no longer work on reimbursing the money to me and he hung up on me.
I did have several items damaged. Furniture was gouged, my grandfather clock pendulum was bent, the hardware for my bed was lost and there was no way to put my bed back together unless I hired someone to do this for me. That was disappointing. I have submitted to the claims department and hope that because I had their insurance that they will resolve this for me by today. I was told that by the claims department when they received all my paperwork today. This was a very disappointing move.
The 3 guys that moved me were wonderful and kind--unlike Keith who was unprofessional and nasty. Be careful about moving any furniture that is good quality because the Hartford manager will not do anything to resolve your issue in a timely manner. I would pick a different company to move and cannot recommend them because of management.

We had All My Sons provide a move for us in December of 2014. Josue and his crew were so polite and courteous thru the process. They handled all our furniture needs and did a wonderful job throughout the day. We also had to reschedule 3 days out due to inclement weather conditions and the office made available the change. It was truly a pleasure working with them and would not hesitate to use them again in the future if needed. During my phone conversation with All My Sons, I was quoted $381 for local move that did not include any furniture. A $100 deposit was required. I reiterated to the movers several times that no furniture was to be removed. They include a dining room table with the mover. I had gathered most of the items in boxes or bags prior to the move. Fortunately, I took photos of the room before they arrived. They returned the table but did not set it up. They laid it aside the wall. Upon completion of move, I was charged over $800, It’s my concern that I was taken advantage of as a senior, disabled customer. I would like to speak with a manager. Thanks.

FRAUD. All My Sons Moving and Storage will charge you $688 for "Full Replacement/Repair Value Coverage" and only offer you $800 when they cause $16,000 damage to your valuable antiques and other items, even when you provide extensive proof of costs to replace/repair those valuable items. DECEPTION. All My Sons Moving and Storage states on their website "we train our movers..." However, when questioned as to the extent of their training, the movers said "we answer the job ad and go to work with no training." In addition, All My Sons Moving and Storage will contract 4 movers, then send only 2 exhausted overworked movers.
EXTORTION. All My Sons Moving and Storage will change your contract terms verbally at the last minute (later day/time for delivery) then hold your items hostage by refusing to unload the truck until you pay them $3,000 more than the contracted amount. Contacting the BBB will not help because All My Sons Moving and Storage simply does not care. They will tell you "if you are not happy with your $800 offer, you can take it to litigation". I'm sure there are people that have had positive experiences with this company, but ask yourself, is it worth the gamble? (The attached photos are just a SMALL sample of the damages).

These movers were amazing! Alexander, Gabriel, & Tony were so polite and helpful. It wasn’t a big move but they were so courteous about us needing things put in specific places because the room is so small. They even hung the clothes & also asked if it was okay for the cat to go outside so she didn’t run away & that’s a big deal because we love this cat & not a lot of people would be concerned about it. They had 50 pictures of my contents and quoted me $5100 to take care of everything and move 6 blocks to new house, "I wouldn't have to touch a thing". Salesperson told me if we toted anything up ahead it would save us money. They sent 8 people and 2 trucks that didn't get half done and billed me $5600. Talked to manager and was told they would return next day with 5 people and 1 truck to finish for $3400 to $3500. Next day filled truck still left me with 2 pickup loads and billed me $4600. We actually had packaged over 80 totes before they ever started, what a rip off. Now I'm out over $10K, I guess they get 1 star because they showed up. DO NOT CALL THESE SCAMMERS.

Never use All My Sons. They are unprofessional, rude, and will ruin your furniture. Not only were the movers over two hours late because the company did not have available trucks (although I had schedule the move weeks in advance), they destroyed the side of a parked car in front of my building. Once the movers actually started working, they took breaks every 20 minutes to go smoke, and although it seemed that they were packing the furniture in a professional manner, one my bedside tables got completely ruined. They were also unprepared: they did not bring the necessary tools to dismantle furniture and put it back together, which was in our contract.
When we arrived at my new address, the movers could not figure out how to bring the furniture inside, yelled at my partner, and decided to drag everything through dirt and leaves. I had to spend my evening cleaning everything. They also lost the screws to our furniture, which we could not put together (although our contract stipulated they would do this as well). In fact, I and my partner did most of their work, and All My Sons seems it’s appropriate to only offer $250 in damages. This is a terrible command with unprofessional and rude staff. Never use them.

On December 19th, 2024, All My Sons moved my property from storage to my new home in Jacksonville. I received a call the day before confirming eta at Extra Space Storage on Plymouth Street and they were punctual. Cliff, the lead was professional, courteous and considerate. His team, consisting of two other gentlemen were excellent and swift. They graciously accepted my directions to place my furniture where I wanted. They handled all of my furniture and boxes with care. I felt they valued my property, my home and me as a customer. Can't say enough great things about them.

While damaging an expensive belonging of mine I was overcharged for the same services I was quoted to have by four different members from the company before scheduling services. A priority item (damaged item by members of the team) was taken care of last, that item being the only reason I hired the company and was supposed to be taken care of ASAP. They would not complete services without payment first, in fact was taken care of by someone other than myself so when I got the total, I made sure everyone was very aware of how displeased I was. I did follow-up and reach out to the manager in my area and got no response. Was not impressed by the functionality of this service and would not recommend from my own experience.

The movers, Trey and Ty, were absolutely phenomenal, my issue isn't with them at all. The manager Wyatt however, shouldn't be allowed to interact with the public. He is dismissive, rude, lacks empathy, and has no awareness of what is appropriate working in customer service. My move was schedule for 12/14, I was contacted at 1pm that day to be told they couldn't make it. So I was moved to 12/15 and told by Sam to call on Monday and see what concessions can be made for the inconvenience.
On Monday I called and unfortunately had to interact with Wyatt. I explained the situation and he said 3 times "I'm not sure why you're calling". Is it a comprehension issue or am I missing something. He then began to reference the fact that they didn't charge me for things I didn't yea, as if that added anything to the conversation. Overall, if Trey and Ty weren't so great this would've been 1 star but Wyatt shouldn't be allowed to be the operations manager of anything. Absolutely terrible service, terrible response, and l'd suggest using Task Rabbit or just getting a Uhaul and moving yourself before you call this company since Wyatt works here.

I only had about 10 collector's items to move, but several were very heavy and awkward and several were fragile. These were not pieces that I'd be able to move by myself or trust with a couple of friends. I'm sorry I had bought the additional insurance since it really was not needed with these two. I would highly recommend them.

On Saturday night 7 Dec 2024 an All My Sons truck came through my alley like a bat out of hell. I thought they were going to hit my house and take out my fence. They broke the neighbor's tree and knocked off branches from my tree. On top of all that.. they broke my wifi cable leaving me without my wifi and my camera system. It has been a very big inconvenience for me. I went outside and that truck was almost as tall as my house and extremely wide. The guys totally ignored me when I went outside. Apparently the drivers don't look up to see if there are any wires. As big as that truck is.. they need to stay on the street.
I spoke to some guy at the company who claimed they didn't have any records of the moving truck! I gave him an address and a time. He was upset because I have been leaving bad reviews about the incident. I want to be reimbursed for the service repair that I am going to be charged. Movers and innocent neighbors beware.

Our experience was the worst that I have had in all my years of moving. The original person who quoted the job did it through a walk through on video which should have been our clue as to the start of issues. The team that showed up worked very hard, but the estimated time for them went hours past what it was quoted therefore we paid more dollars than we were quoted. During this move a very large painting that my mother painted and won awards with was completely lost, which is hard to believe. Then all my diamond jewelry and precious memories were lost even though I brought them over to the new house myself. I put them in an unsecure spot and they disappeared, worth thousands of dollars after that team left.
I can't prove anything, but I know as we have tried for months to find that one necklace box that everything was in that I laid near my other jewelry box which I should have kept with me at all times. Also, only one person could speak English which made this move very difficult since they could not speak English or read what was labeled on the box which distracted me from seeing what they were doing. I have never had an experience that broke my heart like this one. I will be sharing this everywhere as I think someone should be held accountable.

I recently had a frustrating experience with a moving company that I feel is important to share. Initially, I was quoted for a 26-foot truck to move my storage unit into my apartment. However, they arrived with a 20-foot truck instead. The crew consisted of two individuals, and I was charged for 2.5 hours of travel time, even though the actual travel took only an hour and a half. To add to the issue, I was charged for labor during the travel time as well. The paperwork process began after 9 AM, although they had listed the start time as 8:45 AM. The loading process took nearly three hours, as it required careful packing due to the truck's size. When I contacted customer service to express my concerns, I was informed that the 20-foot truck was the only one available and that my move would have been canceled entirely had I been informed beforehand.
Furthermore, the crew left the loading location before I did, yet I arrived at the destination approximately 45 minutes before them. Initially, I was given an estimate of $750 for the total cost, only to find out later that this amount was just for the loading services. Attempts to resolve my issues with the General Manager, Carlos, were unfruitful. He was unprofessional and spoke over me as I tried to ask questions. During the move, my table was broken, and the crew did not offer to assist in filing a claim for it. They also refused to deliver my belongings until the full bill of over $1500 was paid. I received a receipt for the $750, but not for the full payment of $1500. Additionally, I noticed charges for materials, including boxes and a mattress bag, that we did not use since my items were already wrapped. This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I plan to report it to the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

I scheduled a move from New Orleans to Covington. I spoke with an alleged Operations Manager at Jeremy who went through my move and pricing. I signed a waiver for packaging by email. This waiver was not communicated to the actual movers who spent two hours doing exactly what I had waived. On duty Manager proceeded to try and force me to pay for material and labor, despite the written waiver. When I refused, he instructed the movers to leave my furniture on the curb.

I have a friend who recommended All My Sons movers as she was very pleased with their service. They moved me from Charlotte to eastern NC which is quite a haul. Tim was the driver and in charge of the move. He was great to work with, called to let me know timeframes and explained the process to me well. The guys helping load and unload were great. Jon, Jaylin and Emanuel took great care with all my stuff and there was a lot! The whole team was very professional. They were very courteous as well as being friendly. They did a great job and I highly recommend them.

We had a terrible experience with this company. I booked and put a 100$ deposit to secure 139$ rate, I was told that we did not have to remove drawers or unpacked. That in itself seemed great, we hired the company to move the heavy furniture outdoor griddle, green egg, safe, curios, hutches, bedroom suites, (not an entire house move) but a big job, I ask when the clock started with the move. She said after you sign papers when they arrive. After several calls confirming a gentleman called wanting an idea of what would be moved, size of safe, etc, he proceeds to tell us it is 1 1/2 hr automatic drive time so you pay on top of move 1 1/2 hr drive time, this move was from fultondale to Hayden. I ask for an am move. They would try, then we were given a 1pm to 5pm window, so we move everything boxed included cold and freezer stuff to temp/fridge and coolers, animals were moved, everything but the big items.
At 130 I called to be sure we were all set and was assured we were. At 330 I called and I was told that the prior move was just taken longer and assured us. At 419 the lady calls, she says, "We have a bit of a problem. Truck is broke down," crap happens of course. I am upset and in tears because we have to come up with solutions to cold and freezer stuff, and everything in our new home we had except furniture and beds, We said, "What time can you be here in the AM," because originally they offered that date, she said, "Oh it will be Wednesday," so not only did they put us off they put us off till Wednesday with a house that was closing and a walk through scheduled. NO COMPASSION, just very as a matter of fact. After reporting this, several of my friends had horrible experiences with this company. Check with BBB before hire and check reviews.

My moving experience with All My Sons was not a happy experience. They packed on the truck furniture that was labeled for the Trash. Broke my favorite lamp. Damaged and scratched my dining table. Stole my 3 step ladder. When I called to complain I never got a call back. These were my last items that survived the Hurricane Helene. They finished at 2PM and charged me till 4 PM. I will never use these folks and will alert all as to how bad they were. Considering calling the State Price gouging line.

The guys doing moving work are the best. This company was used by us 3 times. Twice long distance. The working guys are efficient, never slack off, very polite and protective of furnishing. This Oct 2024 we had Wilson and Kenson and they deserve 5 stars. Yet, on the truck was left a few items (non expensive but I want and need these). I called the dispatch guy “John” 4 times requesting my items. He is nonchalant in conversation and since it now has been 3 weeks; he clearly has no intention of seeing my things returned. It is annoying since this company charges an hour extra time to drive to location and service fees yet so close to where I needed them here. It is not a long distance to locally return my things. The services are not cheap so they should be completed.

This was by far the Worst moving experience I have ever had!!!! I was very nice and accommodating for all 4 guys too! I even bought them lunch and tipped them very well only to realize after the fact that they cut a big slit in the middle cushion of my Havertys sofa when they removed the saran wrapping with box cutters, they damaged my dresser door by caving it inward and damaged the whole door, they kept their truck running the entire time they were moving just to be able to charge extra for gas because the move was just barely down the road! Then, they didn't even use full hours on quote, so I was told I would get a refund of $308.00 from the $2300.00+ I had already paid upfront, and I emailed them numerous times with no response, then suddenly I received a call (shortly after telling them I was going to escalate this matter)!
The guy had some nerve to give me the dumbest excuse as to why his system did NOT refund automatically back to my card a whole month or more prior.... He said it was because my card was EXPIRED!!?? No sir! It was not, or it would not have even charged my card if it were expired! My card expires in 08/2029! Nothing but lies, and cheating people! That is all I can say! Do not use them! The claim I filed for my damages got me a whole whopping $150.00 too!!!! Read fine print is all I have to say! They only have to pay $0.60/lb of each item damaged. Sad, I have always used them and now realize they are most expensive around too! Worst customer service! BTW, Claims take a while just for them to respond or start claim process!

Caleb **, Odysseus **, Anthony **, and Wachiou did two moves in the time it normally takes other movers to do one, and they wrapped my stuff extra well so nothing was damaged. I've never seen a driver sprint moving things before today, but that's my new expectation.

The men at All My Sons Moving took what I thought was a half day's work and absolutely hauled butt cutting my final cost in half. These guys (Tim, Kyle & Rob) handled the heavy stuff easily and most importantly navigated around corners and downstairs without a blemish anywhere. $695.95!!!! When I signed the final paperwork, the movers said I'd receive a refund because they were booked to move me until noon and it was only 11:15. I've reached out multiple times to All My Sons Admin regarding said refund, and have received NO response. The person who did the booking told me they'd be there in the morning between 8-10 when I scheduled the move. Then that same evening, I was told they'd be there in the afternoon between 2-5.
At 9:00 AM the following morning, the morning of the move, they called and said the movers were 15 minutes from my house. I had gone into work that morning, since they were coming 'in the afternoon' and had to turn right around and rush back. It was less than 2 hours and I have to add that the two people who did the move, while very nice, could not have moved any slower. I'm very disappointed in the amount I was charged and that no one has gotten back to me about the refund the moving man said would be applied. $695.95 is outrageous.

The movers are great, the company is terrible. I feel extorted taken advantage of. $2500 is absolutely absurd. Never will I make the mistake of working with this company again. We moved from 2 one bedroom apartments into a house. They didn't even start until 3:30. It's now almost 10pm and they're still here unloading. Not sure why they would've given a big move like this the morning slot. Couldn't fit all my stuff in the truck so I have to move a lot myself with multiple trips. And no cost break or understanding from the company. Could've done two of these moves separately for much less than $2500.

They showed up on time and finished early! Caleb ** and Daniel ** were 2 of the 6 man crew and were great. They were very communicative on breaks, and their price and time estimate were very precise. Also they worked super hard the entire time.

Prices were not as described. Didn’t know I’d pay over $100 for them to travel from Denver down South then nickel and dimes on everything. 2 hour move cost $1100 when initial quote was $500. Don’t use them.

I hired this company for a move from Florida to Georgia 10/19/2024. The movers could not get my couch out the front door and after ripping the upholstery and getting green paint on it from my doorway, decided to take it over my two-story balcony with no straps or ropes. It was dropped down onto the cement from second story. I previously purchased full value replacement insurance from the company for my move and after speaking with the operations manager in charge that day, I was told the movers should keep the couch on the truck and it would be disposed of and then I was instructed to file a claim for the damages.
I filed my claim two days later. This couch was six months old and in like new condition before it was launched off my second story balcony. In addition to the damage to the couch a bag of expensive bed linen was lost as well. The offer I got from the claims department was for a fraction of the cost to replace those items. So there’s been a breach of contract. I purchased full value replacement insurance and I’m only being offered a fraction of the value of my items so they can’t be replaced. I have been disrespected, hung up on, refused the right to speak to supervisors, told that I didn’t have the right to know the name of the insurance company that was handling my claim, and that what they were offering me was all they were going to offer me.
I wish I had seen the reviews online before I had decided to go into a contract with them. There’s literally a Facebook page dedicated to customers who have been mistreated by this company. Not to mention several lawsuits that have been filed. Do your homework, better than I did, and stay away from this company at all cost. I could’ve hired high school students with more integrity and professionalism. I wish I had.

Movers were really great. Bryant, Audres G, and Audres D did a bang up job and were really fast and careful with my things. It was a bit pricier than I thought/quoted, but I also took advantage of their junk removal service which was nice and simple as well. The price I would say was the only reason I would say it's a 4 star instead of a 5, but the movers themselves were excellent. Will definitely work with them again in the future.

This company is slick. Stay away. I have to say my movers did a good job. They were polite, efficient and took care with my items, but the way this company does its pricing is very deceiving. During my first call I was told $159/hour for 2 guys plus travel time of 1 hour at $159 and yes, they will safely pack all my belongings. Second call is where it gets sketchy. They confirm everything and then say they can package things nicely since I was storing them in my barn and that packing material would be extra. Told them I didn't need them packaged for the barn and I guess that's where the misunderstanding comes in. YOU PAY FOR THE PACKING MATERIAL GOING IN THE TRUCK. I moved 5 items, only 4 were wrapped. Charged me $150 for packing material.
On top of that they slide in a 14% fuel surcharge in the subsequent EMAIL! Paid $650 to move 2 dressers (waist high, no mirror), 1 grandfather clock, 1 tall glass curio and a banged up table for 4 that didn't require any wrapping. They brought the pieces to the second location, 20 minutes away and put them in the barn, no need to be unwrapped since I paid for the wrapping. Neither location had stairs involved. And they will hard sell you for insurance that has an unknown deductible. No thank you. Would not use again.

DO NOT BOOK THEM! The movers themselves were hard-working, however the office was terrible. I originally called to get a quote and was quoted under $1K. I let the rep know I was going to search around and also pull a loan for a little above that amount to give me some cushion. I then received a text with a discount so I signed up and paid my $100 deposit. After that, I didn't receive a confirmation email or text, 2 days before my move I texted the number back that sent me a 10% off deal and said "I haven't heard anything about my move." Another rep called me going through the quote again. They get you by insinuating that the quote is all your expenses within the quote but they sneak in a lot of extra fees.
The truck driver I had immediately came in my home going on about how much more there was to move so I asked if they could just move heavy items and what they could to stay in the budget but the driver spent most of the time going on about my amount of boxes rather than actually moving, then when the move was done and I got my amount which ended up being an additional $500 over my original quote the office manager was saying things to me like, "Do you hear yourself, we said a ballpark quote, you should have known it would be more expensive," and "You are not comprehending correctly" and was outright rude. This company will upcharge you tremendously, they also lie saying if you leave a positive review that's how the movers get their tips.
I asked the movers and they said the company does not tip them, this is their scam to get good reviews. I honestly wish I could hire just the movers and dump this company in the trash. As a single mom, I really have to be cautious of my budget and the fact that they had no problem at all upcharging me then belittling me on the phone shows how manipulative they are and how they gaslight you into paying more money.

The day before my move (end of June) I received a call from All My Sons during which it was determined three movers/packers would be needed. The time estimated to pack my entire kitchen, two closets and move those boxes as well as the boxes from the rest of the two-bedroom apartment, including a deep freezer, would be approximately six hours. I felt that was ridiculously optimistic and decided I'd be happy if it took ten or even 12. I stayed with the moving crew long enough to point out what all needed done then went to my new place to start unpacking what I'd moved previously. Ten hours later the moving crew showed up. I was ecstatic.
I paid the bill and the 26-foot truck was unpacked. We finished I asked where my deep freezer was. The crew leader told me they could not fit it in the truck. I moved all my things in a 26-foot truck, including that deep freezer, so that made no sense, but it was a long day. I wasn't in the mood to argue. The next day I made arrangements for a friend to move the deep freezer and drove to my apartment to meet the friend. When I walked into my apartment it was immediately apparent that they crew only packed one kitchen cupboard. In addition, of the boxes I had packed were left sitting on the kitchen floor. I can't imagine what the crew was doing for ten hours but packing they were not.
I phoned All My Sons and a second move was scheduled for July 3. I was told that I would only have to pay for one hour of travel time since I'd already paid for the packing that wasn't done. However, once they knew crew was at my home the details were changed. In order to get the balance (or most of, because the box they left the first time they also left the second time) of my things unloaded I had to pay another $1300 dollars!
In addition to the bait-and-switch tactics the company refused to refund me for things I didn't receive (i.e. 2 mattress boxes, 2 mirror covers, packing supplies - I supplied my own - and a few other smaller things). I've talked with the office on three separate occasions but as of this writing (Oct.) their promises to refund me for the items I didn't not use, and the extra time the movers padded the second move with, still hasn't occurred. Don't use this company.

I hired All My Sons to move my house less than two miles. They quoted a price that I found acceptable. Three young men showed on moving day and worked quickly. The move was completed, and I thought things went well; then there was a request for tips. I paid a generous tip (my choice) and thought we had finally finished. I then discovered a damage to my dining table (I was informed that I would need to file a claim). Later I discovered a less than 1 year old, 75-inch tv screen was damaged beyond salvage. Claims were filed and I was awarded $175 for $1500-2000 in damages caused by All My Sons moving. The only recourse left to me was to contact The Texas Department of Transportation as an appeal. I would need representation to file the appeal. It ended being a terrible experience by a disingenuous company. I regret hiring them wholly!

I was/am very upset with our moving experience. At the beginning of the move the movers asked me if I wanted extra insurance for the coverage of any broken items, I agreed. I paid the extra $175.00. As the move progressed they accidentally broken my 80” lg smart tv. My wife and I bought it 1.5 years ago and was barley used. Like new is an understatement. The process of this claim was a nightmare to say the least. I sent over forms for the claim 3 different times to not get any calls back from this company for me to check to see if they even got it. But after a month of going through that they undercut the pay out for the item. They said “depreciation” of the item and this is what we will pay out. Well here’s the thing - I paid for services and insurance that you guys say will cover any and all broken items and they won’t even replace the tv they have broken! This will be the last time we use your service and you people should be ashamed of yourselves for not taking care of a customer whose property you broke.

I hired All My Sons to move belongings out of my home in August. In the process, they damaged the ceiling in my living room by stepping through the attic floor while trying to angle a couch downstairs, even though I specifically told them not to move the couch downstairs if it would't fit and that I would take it apart for them. They didn't even ask permission to enter the attic. If they'd told me they wanted to enter the attic, I would not have allowed them access for this very reason. The representative I spoke with on the phone confirmed that no movers are supposed to enter a home's attic.
Six weeks later, I'm still waiting for reimbursement for the repairs done to my home. They quickly allowed me to file a claim, but the contact numbers provided weren't operational. After weeks of waiting and sending emails with no reply, I had to pay for the repairs out of my own pocket. They have offered me two settlements, neither of which come close to the amount needed to repair the ceiling. I provided them a quote for the work, and they have still only offered me half the amount of the repair. My claims officer is completely unresponsive and it's obvious they're ignoring me and hoping I accept an amount that's less than they owe. I've already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and I'm looking at my legal options with the state attorney general and personal legal counsel. This is an extremely shady and untrustworthy business that will not make their mistakes right. Avoid at all costs.

I was supposed to move out of my apartment on Saturday, 9/28/24, my birthday. So I hired the moving company All My Sons. Used them to move in this apartment back in March of 2023. They gave me an ETA between 11-2 and told me they would call me when the movers were on the way. I said, "Okay, thank you," and gave them my 100-dollar deposit. Come moving day, after I had already packed up my whole apartment, come 2 pm, hadn't heard from them. So, I figured okay, maybe due to hurricane Helene and the damage it had done to NC, I figured they were running a bit behind. I'll give them till 3 pm and then I'll call. 3 pm, still hadn't heard from them.
I called them, spoke to someone named Brandon, who was very rude and no sympathy about the situation at all. Asked what the status was on the ETA of the movers, and once he spoke to his drivers, he came back on the phone to tell me that since I was their 2nd appt of the day, and they usually try to get to their 2nd appt of the day by 2 pm. However, due to the hurricane, they were short-staffed and running behind. So since they hadn't gotten to me by 2 pm, they just wasn't coming that day. I was like, "Wait, what!?! You aren't coming?" And no one called to tell me this, nor offer any other solutions? How do you as a company, after I had just hired them, just say, "Oh, yeah, we aren't moving you today." I was like, "Umm no. Unacceptable. Refund my 100 dollars and cancel my appt. I'll find someone else." Needless to say, I won't be using them again, that's for sure.

Moving is always stressful. This experience started out incredibly stressful due to my ex not bringing the keys to the storage unit the morning of the move. However, Pedro, Chris, and Vince showed up and immediately calmed me down. They chatted with me as they worked and made the moving experience the best I’ve ever had. The move went well, very pleased with the two movers. Only negative is All My Sons employed what seems to be a small scam on the cost. They ask for pmt upon arrival at the destination before unloading based upon their estimate of the unloading time. Assume they want to avoid someone not paying after delivery. They over estimated the time by 30 minutes, and the promised refund credit was never received despite three notifications from me. No responses to my requests/notices. I don't think I would use them again if they insisted on the same payment process. The move was for my mother and if the company is ok with ripping off a 93 year old then why would you want to use them?

I agree with the other reviewer that says Nick is a liar and a thief. Was NOT being honest about pricing and I felt like I was being deceived. Called back and tried to the Sonny who assured me he was the manager but he was lying too. If he IS the manager he’s awful. Kept talking over with me and arguing with me. Don’t use these guys. We will definitely recommend “All my sons moving company”. We had a great experience with Robert T. and William B. They were very careful in handling our furniture with care. They were respectable, helpful and friendly from beginning to end. We had a call from the Ops manager Dave that morning to make sure everything was ok. Kudos to Robert and William. My wife and I hired All My Sons moving company to move us from a 3rd floor, 2 bedroom apartment into our new home. They were very professional and scheduled us in a timely manner. They were also upfront about the costs and had a detailed cost sheet for us to review. The day before they called us to confirm. The day of the move they called us an hour before to let us know they would be arriving. Our moving team included Trevor, Gamble and Levi and they were extremely professional, hard working, and polite. They gave us zero issues and worked fast and efficiently.
Trevor was the lead and gave his crew clear directions as well as walked and talked over all the items we were moving to ensure nothing was missed. Gamble sorted and stacked everything to best fit and not be damaged. Levi was hustling and wrapping our large items to protect them. They kept us informed at every step of the way. The unloading was even easier and they asked for each item where we would like them to take it. They unloaded very quickly. Overall the team was excellent and we highly recommend them.
