Pamela helped me close my account due to a recurring charge I wasn’t aware of. I thought it would take forever to get taken care of, but it was all over in 5-10 minutes! Super efficient & seemed to achieve what I needed.

I was able to get information I needed, but you have to call or chat with them to cancel subscription, otherwise, they keep charging your account. I spoke to Pamela, and she was very helpful in cancelling my account. Make sure to call or send in that chat.

Deceptive business practices, claims free then $1 then $9.95 plus the $1 with a billing cycle, the support did help and refund it fast, but it’s not ok the way they set this up. It makes it hard to trust a company like this.

Had an issue with a charge on my debit card. Agent was very quick to locate where the charge was coming from and assisted me closing the account to prevent future charges. I had a great experience with the service (Virginia) I received. The person who helped me cancel my membership was extremely professional, kind, and efficient. From the beginning, they explained the process clearly and made everything very simple to understand. What I appreciated the most was how fast they handled everything. The cancellation was completed quickly and without any complications, which made the whole experience stress-free.
They were also very responsive and answered all my questions with patience and professionalism. It’s not always easy to deal with membership cancellations, but thanks to their help, the process was smooth and straightforward. I did what I thought was a one dollar, one time search on a single license plate, but found an email charging me seven dollars. I contacted support, and was told that perhaps I had made an account selection without realizing it. I said that indeed I had no intention of setting up an account, and only wanted the one time query. The agent was friendly and very helpful, and refunded the unexpected charges quickly and without question. I also appreciated the fact that whenever there was a wait longer than about a minute, I got a note saying something to the effect of “I’m still here”, or “I’m working on it”. That’s a really good technique to make sure a customer knows they’re still connected.

Ask to cancel my account after not finding the information out I was looking for. Canceled my account without question and received a confirmation number of the cancellation. The report was not as expected. According to the report I received, it stated that the car was still titled by original owner. She passed away 5/24 and through additional research on my own, I found out that the title had transferred from my mother to my niece. The car was to be inherited by me, not my niece. State records indicated that the vehicle was untitled and unregistered. Through PublicRecords.com, the report was very long and didn’t say anything with clarity. I was very disappointed.
On the other hand, the representative I spoke with today to cancel my membership was very professional and explained about the $5 monthly charges. Although minimal, it’s a strain on a tight recent retiree salary. I was uninformed about monthly charges to my credit card. Very disappointed. I expected it was going to be a one time charge for a single report. I will not be using your services again.

I don't understand why a business that operates so underhandedly is allowed to operate with little to no repercussions. There was no text indicating that I would be charged a recurring $20 fee. If there was, it was somewhere that it was absolutely unnoticeable.

Didn't really get what I needed from this site and the continued charging was not a good thing. CS Ryan cancelled my subscription very quickly. I will monitor for next month. I was surprised that the amounts changed from 5.00 for a couple of months to 20.00 out of the blue.

It was a fair value and my account was easy to close without more sales questions. I was looking for marriage certificate on this individual tho...this either was not included or perhaps did not exist.

The service wasn't able to provide the data I was seeking, and I thought it was less robust than I had hoped, in terms of its searching capabilities. However the cost was low, and when I asked to have my account deleted the customer service rep. (Barbara) was awesome and took care of my request literally within a minute. That was nice. It's possible that maybe the data I was looking for just wasn't very visible within available public records, so maybe my expectations were off-base. Not sure.

Richard did a great job in helping me understand why I was being charged $20 twice a month since last July. I suspect that there was fine print at some point that I didn't understand. CSR made my request easy and seamless. Very easy cancellation and refund for surprise charges. Did not try to sell me anything or push back on the claims. Will use service again if needed. For some reason though your review program doesn’t like that I’m not writing an essay because my time isn’t valuable and my true words apparently aren’t either. So I’m adding fluff so that the people who would rather an AI robot filter for the responses they want and not my actual thoughts can be satisfied.

EXTREMELY misleading website. I paid $9.95 and it was my understanding that I had access to over 200 records for two years. I was charged $9.95 again 16 days later. When I got on the chat, I was told by the agent that I may have "accidentally" signed up for their bundle or something? Absolutely not. There is nothing on the website or my emails that states I would be charged 9.95 every 16 days.

There is a lot of information on this site. Although when first signing up you have to be really careful. I tried getting 1 report and some how was enroll in the monthly report package after selecting no. The site is not user friendly and I could not figure out how to get on and cancel the monthly report package. I had to use the chat for help. I had Debra. She was quick and very helpful and helped me with all of my needs. 1 star deduction for the automatic enrollment and lack of being able to remedy it myself before another charge.

I received good customer service when I requested a refund for the recurring charge and to end the recurring charges, but it was also very sneaky of them for having the recurring charges in the first place. I didn't see anything about recurring charges when I purchased 1 report (which didn't actually have the information I was looking for anyway), maybe it was in the fine print, either way, very sneaky and not cool.

When trying to pull records the website explains there's a fee of $1 today, $10 every 15 days starting today. There is no option for a one-time payment and it's worded in a way that you don't realize you're being placed on a recurring payment. I also noticed that the website uses .us in its domain name instead of .gov. It is not a government run website although they're trying to get you to think it is. To me the obscure payment method and the obscure domain name for the website is is too close to a scam for me to trust the website and I left the website before making a payment. There's too many red flags on this website for me to trust it and I recommend that no one else uses it either.

I needed to cancel getting charged, your customer support person took care of it immediately. Problem solved. You should let people know that there is a reoccurring charge if they use your service.

Excellent help today answering my question about a recurring charge and representative suggested a solution that I am happy with. I sought a property report, and I noticed a recurring charge on my credit card. I asked if the rep could see if there was a possibility of further charges. The suggestion to close the account was made. I agreed and our transaction was quick and complete.

A lot of the information in the report was incorrect. A recurring monthly charge of $5 happens and I didn't knowingly sign up for that. Canceling was easy through the site chat but this needs to be more clear to users.

Process to remove my subscription was extremely fast and friendly. Definitely not a hassle like other services. Well done to Peter who helped me close the subscription at a moments notice. Although the fact that this review has to be elongated is quite a nuisance.

Understood my issue quickly and took action within seconds. That was an amazing customer service experience. there was a transaction without my knowledge, and it was probably due to me signing up without knowing. The customer care representative took care of it and refunded that amount.
