    Life Line sent me a thing in the mail and for probably a decade, I've been mulling it around in my head and never took the time to do it. I'm 64 years old, soon to be 65, and a lot of my friends and family have had the screening done and I was due. It could save your life. I'm at high risk for stroke. I'm a heavy smoker and you hear and read and see friends, family, and acquaintances. It was time for me to get checked out before it was too late. The screening was a lot more involved than I thought it was. I had never done this before. I thought it would just be a simple test and I'd be gone. I was surprised to see that there were a bunch of people there and there were multiple tests that took place, which was fine. The techs were pleasant. They were busy watching their screens so there wasn’t a lot of interaction but I had no issues with any of them.

    The report seems to be thorough but I'm a layperson. I have it on my phone and I've yet to see any of my doctors to share the information. I intend to share it the first available chance I have. But I'm not in any danger. I have one minor issue but it’s something we’re already addressing because I had had stents and I'm taking medicines to keep platelets and keep myself lubricated so I'm not clotting up. I checked out okay. It wasn't like they had to haul me off in an ambulance to go for emergency surgery. So, everything worked out fine. I'm happy with what took place and as far as my health goes, it would be as expected because I have issues.

    My family and friends have already done the screening and they've been telling me. I was overdue. I'm the youngest of six children and my family was telling me I’m still smoking like a stack and asking if I wasn’t at least curious. I am. But I haven't been feeling bad and I'm too busy. I'm not gonna be a yearly customer. But probably when I get towards 70, I'll probably go again. I met a gal I went to school with and I hadn't seen her in decades. She said it was her sixth time. She gets it done every year. She's healthy, thin and doesn't have any body fat.

    One of the areas of concern was one that is obviously not correct. Life Line Screening grossly overstated my waist size. I don't have a waist anywhere near that size. They didn't measure me, so I don't know how they came up with that number. And if they're wrong on that, I wonder if they're right on the other things. But they did a good job. Getting the screening done was convenient and the price seemed reasonable.

    I have a history of my family of aneurysms of the aorta and I wanted to have that checked. I found out that I have one. So, at least, I'm aware now but it doesn't surprise me. I have an appointment with my doctor next week and I'm gonna take the results in. The techs did a very good job. We only had about a 15-minute wait till they started to work on us. As soon as we came in, they signed us in and everything went well. Life Line was worth going for, especially since I knew that I had a history in my family of a problem that they screened for.

    I am older now and I just wanted to check out certain things. I have one issue, which was confirmed but I wanted to know about plaque build-up and things going on with my blood supply and my heartbeat. If the screening took 20 minutes, I'd be surprised. But it's just ultrasounds in the neck, the abdomen, wrist, and the ankles.

    The techs don't wire you up and it’s a very simple procedure, and it took next to no time. Then, I received something in the mail that gave me the results of my tests and I will pass that on to my GP and he'll have that record as well. If he sees anything in there that would indicate I need to go further, he certainly would recommend that. But for now, I was very satisfied with the report. There's nothing in here that surprised me. I recommended Life Line to people, including relatives. It's a very good thing to have. It wasn’t a waste of my money and it was relatively inexpensive compared to the other healthcare stuff that my insurance company covers, so I was pleased with that.

    I used Life Line years ago, then recently, I had the full body screening done. Everything was good. In terms of the results, they said that they saw a vein that was bleeding and suggested that I see a doctor. I went to the doctor, and the doctor said that it was nothing to worry about.     A doctor had sent me to have screening done eight months ago. He told me he wanted me to have it done every six months. I was looking up information about the carotid artery online and an ad for Life Line Screening popped up. I thought of getting the ultrasound and three other tests too, all in one. I was very impressed when I went to Life Line Screening. They were very organized when I got there. I had an appointment and the lady was waiting at the door. She took my name and told me to wait and sit. There was supposed to be one person after me that day, but they didn't show up so I was the last person of the day. They started taking down some of the temporary screens they put up for privacy but they didn't take mine down.

    The techs were all amazing. I scared the first one pretty bad when she saw my results from the carotid artery test. My number was extremely high on the carotid artery. Because of that, she filled out this long yellow form and said, “We normally don't say anything. We just tell you, ‘See it in a week.’ But if you are over a certain number, then we're required to fill out this form and give it to you.” She was really sweet. On her form, she told me that I needed to call my doctor right then and go see the doctor the next day. I told her I don't have a regular doctor. On the form, it said if I don't have a regular doctor, then to go straight to the hospital and that was what I did.

    All the techs were also very nice for the four stations I went to. They told me what they were taking at each station. They didn't explain a whole lot about it, but I knew that's why I went. By the time I went to the fourth person at the screening, they took my blood pressure and it was super high. Between the first thing being high and having such high blood pressure, they told me I should go to the hospital.

    When I got to the hospital, they asked why I was there because I wasn't in any pain. I explained what I've been through. But they didn't understand what the numbers were because in the hospital they don't use numbers. They use percentage, how full your carotid arteries are. The numbers didn't mean anything to them but I explained that for the screening, if it was over so high, this was what they told me to do and I followed the instructions. When I went to the ER, they did a Doppler on me, which is similar to an ultrasound. Once I got the Doppler done, the number came back about the same as the last time I took it eight months ago. That made me feel good in that it was not a critical emergency situation but it definitely got me moving and I appreciate it.

    I got the report from Life Line Screening a week later on my computer. They showed all the different tests and where I fell in a ranking, if I was where I should be or if I was too high or too low. I was very pleased with Life Life Screening. The results made me more aware of my situation and I have an appointment now with a vascular doctor. If I had not got such a high reading, I might have been more interested in hearing what they might have had for free which they offered to seniors.

    Last year, my doctor found a hernia and then, I had a TIA. I thought it might be nice to do a double-check on those things. During the process, we had to wait for a while but I didn't have anything to do. So, I didn't mind at all. I wish the techs would have talked to me a little bit more though.     A friend told me about Life Line a few years ago. They told me about the program and I was like, “Wow”. Because they're saying that the tests that are being done is not something that your regular insurance would cover or that the doctor would order for you. It's outside of the box. You give them something else to look at while you're going for your physical or just going in for a checkup. I did the screening before to prevent anything from happening. I’m getting older so I wanted to stay on top of what's going on in my body. They did the bone, the heart and the pulse from my neck down to my feet. And they took blood. All the technicians were friendly. They described what would happen and asked me if I was comfortable or uncomfortable, or if it might be a little uncomfortable. My experience has always been good with them.

    The process is very helpful and instrumental to my quality of care because I have a portal and Life Line can send this through to my doctor or Capital Health. So, that makes it a whole lot easier. I don't have to worry about taking papers and showing them. The portal is excellent to have. I'm glad that they made it available to me. I live in the Trenton area and there's none in the three places that I went to. They were in PA, but they weren't far. It was 11 minutes away and the other one was maybe about 12 minutes away. So, it was anything under 15 minutes and they made it very easy for me to get to it, which I was very appreciative of. I’ve already recommended Life Line to several people and they even open the invitation to invite someone to come with you. There'll be some type of free exams for them. They'll give them the pitch but this will be beneficial for them.

    My insurance company sent me an offer that they would pay for having a Life Line screening done. There were five tests including one for the carotid artery, the groin for an artery there and the leg for osteoporosis. Customer service was very pleasant. Everybody took care of things the way they should have. I questioned two of the results. They said I did not have anything for the osteoporosis, but I've had other tests that indicate that I do. They were saying that for groin for the artery there, there was a possible balloon. I would recommend Life Line.

    Where we live, it's an issue to get medical care. There is a long wait. Life Line Screening made it available for me and an easier process to get those things checked out. Their price is excellent as well. I had some blood work done and the lab fees were unbelievable at our local hospital. Life Line was very professional and the experience was pleasant. They got us through pretty quickly where we had the test done. That was a local church that they had rented to do it and it worked well. They found a couple things that we need to get checked out and I was thankful for that. I got an appointment this week to see a cardiologist.     I did four of types of screening and the tech was very thorough and pleasant. Everything was good. She told me what was gonna happen, when we were halfway through and when we were almost done. The screening result for the stomach told me to see my doctor and I followed through, but my doctor doesn't believe in it. When I went to see my doctor, she rolled her eyes and told me to go do the test again. I went back and had the test done and the technician sent me a thing that told me not to come back for five years. They found not much wrong. Maybe that's why Life Line Screening picked it up. Overall, my experience was good and it put my mind at ease.

But I was hoping more for actual X-rays or results that could go to the doctor for them to review and that didn't seem to happen. It was more just paper copies of the results, which the doctor wouldn't probably be able to work off of.

    I've done Life Line for a number of years but I wasn't impressed this last go-round. I haven't had any problem with the technicians who were there. But they sent that information to a doctor, who supposedly deciphered what the technician's data showed and gave me some feedback. The doctor told me I've got an abdominal aneurysm. I went to my heart doctor, had a CAT scan done and I do not have a abdominal aneurysm. Somebody's full of hot air. I lost a lot of confidence in Life Line. The technicians did a good job but whoever is tabulating the final results leaves something to be desired.

    Also, I signed up for the screening where they take your blood and test for a component of your blood. You're supposed to get a $25 gift certificate and I never got it. I was super turned off right there. Until I get a $25 gift certificate, I'm not inclined to do any more business with Life Line. I got an email and every time I clicked on the email, it said something went wrong. After about the 30th time, I gave it up as a lost cause. I'm not satisfied with that. It's not the money. I don't need $25 that bad. It’s telling me one thing and coming through on another.

    I wanted to know my inner self and body parts at the age I’m in now and get into health, which made me decide to get screening done. I like Life Line. But in the last screening, I didn’t get as much information back. I have my screening done every year and they usually give me more data. I'm a member and normally, I get four sheets back but I got two sheets this time. They didn’t say they found nothing. They'll call you if they find something. They told me that the little tube in my stomach had a little bulge in it. Still, I recommend people to take it.

    The screening with Life Line is very carefully done. You walk in and they say, “Have a chair.” They'll call you by your first name. Then you go up and you tell them who you are and you get your ID out. They go over what screenings you're having because they're not all the same. Then you go back and sit down until it's your turn or whatever screening is up at that point. So, then you go down to whatever screening it is and whoever's doing it for you. When you're finished they say, "Thank you very much, Miss Margaret. Thank you so much," and out the door you go.

    I always have been comfortable with the people doing the tests. I don't think there was ever anyone that I thought was imposing at any time. I've had it done many times now at different locations. So, then I got smart and I thought, "Maybe there's something to this. Maybe I should find a doctor." So, I went to a doctor, and I was impressed. I thought she did very good work. So, I continued going to her, but I continued going to Life Line's program because the prices are right. So, I pay $189 and I feel secure. I don't have to go through all the people that they do when you're in the hospital to do screening there.

    I'm getting older and I wanted to do a preventative screening and check and see how I'm doing. My experience with LifeLine was quick. They were nice. They told me, "Lay down here and turn this way and turn that way. And you're comfortable?" I got the one for the arteries in the neck, something with the stomach and then I had the ones where they were put around your ankles and around your wrist. Everything seemed to be good.

    I had a friend that had Life Line Screening done up in Chico. They found something wrong with her and she told my wife about it. I was having problems with Kaiser Hospital in finding out what was wrong with me so we decided it might be to my benefit to do Life Life Screening as well.     I've been going to Life Line Screening for over 20 years. I stopped for a little over two years' period because I had a stroke. I was often involved with my doctor. Once I got all done with that, I went back to Life Line Screening. It's a way for me to monitor my own health. Because when I go to doctors, I don't even take my pants off. They can't look at me and say, "What's wrong with your leg or whatever?" Our well care doctor appointments have turned to ** because they get too many people that shouldn't even be in there. My appointment is 15 minutes, they do four an hour, and get 40 bucks. The person gets $160 an hour that way. Whereas we used to have at least a half hour ourselves. So, I do it to monitor my own health. They're very helpful and friendly.

    I had a blood screening because I have to watch my cholesterol because of the stroke thing. I get a reading on the cholesterol when I donate blood. I do that now regularly. So, they gave me a reading there. But I wanted to get a PSA test and they found an expanded abdominal aorta four years ago. Three years ago, they didn't find it. I went back this time and they found it again. They put those electrodes on my ankle and wrist and things and checked my blood flow. I paid 179 which is reasonable. They give good reports and give a copy if my doctor will even look at them. I like it.

    I waited for an hour. When I came here, I checked the room, I was told that I needed to wait outside. Before entering the building, I saw a sign saying walk-ins were welcome. I had an appointment but nobody called my name. Several people went inside after I arrived and there was nobody waiting like me. I was disappointed as I had other appointments after. This was definitely not a pleasant experience. Then I went inside and found the same person. She said "oh, ok, we can check you in." I was like whaaat???? The care quality is questionable.     I was glad I did the screening with Life Line. Unfortunately, I had a bad cough when I got there. But I handled it and I'm glad I let my doctor know what was going on.     I heard about Life Line Screening and thought it was a good deal. Because you go to a doctor now and they don't do a lot. So, I went. I got an aneurysm and they found it. And of course, it keeps growing. For the last several years, I go to a vascular doctor and they monitor it every six months. If I didn't go, I wouldn't have found it. I never knew it was there. And it has grown to where I would have to have something done. Maybe in two years, it would have busted and I would never know about it. Since they found that, I decided to go once a year. They do the arteries and check everything. They do a good job.

    I've only had one problem. That was when it was over. It was over in Chatsworth. The air conditioner was out and it was slow. I was there for a long time. But every other visit, I got right in, they checked it out. I gotta expect to wait a bit. Once they got me in the loop, I have to see three people. It wasn't much waiting in between them.

    I'm a big fan of Life Line Screening. I saw them from a mailing that I received. I've been seeing my doctor about various X-rays at that time and I thought, "What a great idea. For a few hundred bucks, I can get all these tests." But I didn't pursue it until the third mailing. They were very professional. The whole thing for all six the tests took an hour and a half, which I had been presented with another option to do in a hospital and it would require three or four days stay in it until they got all their gobbledygook together to do the test. That was unusual and I wouldn't do that, and wound up with Life Line Screening. I'm glad I did.

    It was like a factory. They had a lot of people to get through their testing and they did it efficiently. But not without the feeling. They explained things very well. I've never seen one, but now, I know I have an aneurysm in my aorta. It was acceptable and well done. They have just put me at ease and increased my knowledge of what I'm up against.

    I've been doing preventative screenings for a few years with LifeLine and they're very thorough. It's easy. The way that they set it up is out in the community to go to. The techs were all very professional, explained to me exactly what they were doing, and were timely, too. They were organized and everything went very smoothly. The location was terrible though. It was very difficult to find, which is the first time. I've been to four different screenings, but this one was the first time that I've ever had such difficulty getting to that location. I also wanted a printed copy but I don't know how to get that.

    I've been having preventative screening done for years because some of the things that I have tested for my family has a history of. I like using Life Line because they are convenient to use. They're also very thorough, they explain stuff, and they're polite. They recently scanned me for aortic aneurysm, which they discovered. They also found a gallbladder stone that I had. Aside from that, I had the carotid artery checked, osteoporosis, and some blood work. The results were very good and they seem to be pretty accurate. I am currently seeing a vascular specialist because my aneurysm has grown significantly in the last three years. So, the screening may prevent me from having dying from it. I would recommend Life Line to somebody.

    I had a coupon for $157 for the five basic tests. The lady on the phone pressured me into buying a membership $197 plus $127 more for bloodwork. I was not told about TOS or given a chance to read them first. She was fast-talking and confusing. I realized later there might be Terms of Service (TOS) so had to spend time searching for it. It wasn’t very informative and said nothing about charging $30 to cancel due to a “bloodwork credit”.

    Now I’m going to be charged $197 every year for tests I had planned to do every other year for $157. I have been trying to cancel my membership since May 2024 but they insist on charging me $30 “bloodwork credit” to cancel. I was not told this would happen if I cancelled. I’ve written two letters and made three phone calls all with no results and now it appears they are ghosting me. My last letter was sent July 8, 2024. It is now August 16, 2024.

    If this is not resolved by Feb 24, I’m going to dispute my credit card charges on Feb 25 and I will never use this service again. Honestly, I wonder how good the tests really are. They don’t have the electrodes attached for more than 60 secs or less for the heart rhythm test. I’m frequently having irregular heartbeats but it has never been detected by them in the two times I’ve gone. The results were confusing. In one place they say you are in good health but further down you are in danger of a stroke. Good heavens!

    I am a ** female over 55...younger than 65. In May (2024), my cholesterol levels were quite high. The primary care physician wanted to start me on **. I told her that I was not going to take ** and I sought out ways to reduce the numbers on my own...without meds! To get a better idea as to what my health risks were, I purchased the following screenings from Lifeline:

    SCREENINGS:

    4 package deal;
    Glucose;
    Vitamin D;
    Six for life health assessment;

    Thyroid stimulating hormone and a few other screenings. In total, I was screened for 14 different things.

    MY COST: The cost for the screenings, plus an upgrade to an annual membership was less than $350.00, which I am sure is less than the cost of the Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening alone. This screening is an abdominal ultrasound.

    LOCATION AND STAFF: My screenings were done at a location in Woodstock, GA on August 9, 2024. Four nice ladies performed the screenings (Latonia, Savannah, Jaimya, Demetria, and Ameshia). In spite of them being short-staffed (minus one person), they were able to perform the screenings quickly. These ladies seem to work well together employing a system that works.

    THE PROCESS: If you are having multiple screenings, you will move from one station to another. There is no getting undressed or IV blood draws. If blood needs to be taken, it comes from your finger. The impressive thing to me was getting my cholesterol and glucose numbers while there. No waiting! That was good because my numbers (which dropped significantly) since May, lets me know that what I have been doing to reduce my numbers (nothing drastic), is working... without taking meds! I can't wait to share the official results with my primary care physician, who told me back in May that if I did not take **, my numbers would only go up. My total cholesterol, LDL, and Non-HDL numbers, all dropped over 100 points (in a 3-month period)--without taking medication of any kind! THANK YOU Lifeline for providing these type of screenings...which helps to make us more informed individuals...which I am sure, the doctors don't like!

    I have recommended Life Line through the years. I've been getting screening done for years. They found a little lump in my throat that it turned out it was benign. But it's a precautionary measure to pick up on anything that I'm aware of and it has cautioned me about various things. The technicians have been very effective and efficient. They do a good job of presenting the data that they find. It gives you the ability to be alert to anything that looks negative on the report. The only thing is I'm 88 years old and I like hard copies of things but everybody's shifting to want you to pick up your results by email. But Life Line sent me a hard copy.

    Life Line's reps told me what to do and I laid there and did it. They were friendly people. But I haven't gone to the doctor with the results yet and I don't like that to get the results, you're supposed to pay $15 for a piece of paper. They always used to give the papers. You're supposed to read the results all online but I don't have a fancy line yet. So I can't get that online. Aside from that, the overall price of the screening is $149 and some odd cents. But down the fine print, there is another $20 for doctors. That makes me upset because if it's going to be $149, it should be $149.

    Lifeline has a pretty reasonable price and at the time when I lived in Draper, the screening was easy to do. They always did it close to my house and if the results looked weird, I always took them in to my doctor. So, I've had the screening done numerous times and they're very professional. I always check the results and they're good. This last one, it showed a little bit of a bulging in my heart. So, I took it into my doctor and he had me redo a more sophisticated thing that they do in the hospital. That was weeks ago and I haven't heard anything back yet. But I'm meeting with the doctor in a couple of weeks to talk about it. I also figured that if Life Line found something bad, they would have called me by now. All in all, I'm happy with their service.

    I went with Life Line as at the time I wasn't getting the testing results that I wanted from my insurance company and the medical facilities. That's since changed, but I continue to use Life Line. The technicians are polite and we're in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I give the information to my doctor and he acknowledges it and there are similar parallel tests that I have now from my medical facility. That all adds into a better picture for me.

    The screening was wonderful. There was a little bit of a wait but when I finally got there, everybody was very pleasant and professional. They said the process would be a certain amount of time and it was spot on. Any questions I asked them, they were very forthcoming with answers and it was no threat. I have already recommended Life Line Screening to two of my family. It's a good idea and it's better to be in the know about our health than not know. However, I've been bugged ever since with emails and texts. I'm planning on getting it again. But I had a call yesterday and the day before and I want them to leave me alone.

    Getting a preventative screening is a lot quicker and easier than letting a doctor run me all over town to different places, getting what information he needs. I get the results of half a dozen tests in less than an hour and I only have to go to one place. I've been to a couple of different Life Line locations for these screenings and some of them were a little more orderly than others. But generally speaking, the reps that I've dealt with have been very professional and easy to get along with. They were interested in making me comfortable and it was pretty obvious that they were just not running me through the ringer.

    It took 40 minutes maximum to get all the different tests done. It depends on how they had it set up. Sometimes I had to do one test and then wait to get another one or wait to go through the rest of the loop and sometimes I just went straight through it. Different teams work differently and some of them are a little more organized than other teams are. Also, the quality of the results was more than adequate and it was worth the trouble and the expense to get the information that I needed and forward to my doctor. For the money, you can't beat the experience and the information that you get.

    Lifeline did NOT do what they said they would do - canceled one of my tests that I'd paid for, and did NOT notify me. When I contacted Lifeline, they offered a credit - for another visit! I objected and Lifeline promised a call back within 2 business days and did NOT call back. I called again and waited and they did NOT pick up within 10 minutes of wait time, so I submitted a web inquiry, which they did NOT respond to. So I submitted a dispute with my CC company, and of course, Lifeline offered a $35 credit - as though that is enough for my waiting 45 mins in their 'waiting room' only to have them cancel one of their promised services. They are cheap, uncommunicative jerks.

    My opinion is that this is a total joke. They are just constantly trying to sell you more stuff. I got a lot of tests done and was anxious to get my results. However, I nearly fell out of my chair when the first one came in telling me I was "obese". I weigh 107 lbs!!!! It also said my glucose level was high, while coincidentally I had just had that test a few weeks back (and get tested at least annually) and it is always low to normal. I called them because how can I trust ANY of the results when it was telling me I was obese??!! First thing she wanted to do was sell me another package in order to speak with someone. I told her my results and how ridiculous they were and she said she'd have a manager call me back. As soon as she said it, I knew nobody would call me back. As suspected, nobody called. I will never recommend them to anyone and will never go back again. They are a scam and a total joke.

    Several years ago, my husband suggested that we do screening because sometimes you don't get those types of tests done through a doctor's visit based on your age. When I went last time, I found out that my C-reactive protein was very high. It's because I had a lot of inflammation. I had to have my knee replaced and I've had shingles before. The doctor sent me for some other tests but they all turned out okay and I ended up not having to have treatment for it. But it was nice to have that warning that I had that much information on my body at that time. Life Line checked for stomach aneurysm and my husband had a bone density done.

    Making the appointments was very smooth and the techs all seemed very knowledgeable and efficient. It was very fast and well-organized. Life Line is a good service because it's not expensive and it's easier to do that than it is to try and get your doctor to send you to different places. If you have heart disease in your family, I found out that until something happens, they don't do anything. So, it's nice to have a screening done.

    When I first did a preventative screening, I was around 50-ish. I had heard that other people had used them, so I thought, "Instead of waiting for any kind of symptoms to develop, why don't we see if there's anything going on that maybe hasn't been caught by our doctor's office, maybe, and catch things early?" So, I set my wife up, and my wife and I were both up to do the Life Line Screening. Sure enough, they caught something on me. I have an aneurysm in my stomach. It's called AAA which I would not have known about, and it's a silent killer. It has no symptoms until it bursts one day, and then you're dead.

    When the results came back, I went to a cardiologist, and they ordered additional tests, and now I've been treated for it ever since. They lower my blood pressure and then they keep monitoring it to make sure it doesn't grow anymore. Then when it grows to a certain extent, they'll do surgery. I would not have known anything about that. I'd have been walking through. I like to work out. I used to do a lot of sit-ups and crunches, and that’s really a bad thing for the AAA. That could have caused it to burst.

    Since then, every year, Life Line has tried to reach out to me to get the screening done. I did it again another time, and nothing more was discovered. They saw some plaque in my carotid arteries. Then, I didn't have it done. And then this year, I had it done mainly to see what that plaque looks like in the carotid arteries, and it still is moderate. They saw the AAA every time. It's not gonna go away. Life Line may have saved my life.

    The Life Line techs are really professional. For me, the setting was at a nearby church, and they had different stations set up. When you sign in, they try to sell you more services to make money, which is fine by me. I don't sign up for any. Then when you're called, it's only you in each one of the stations, and the stations have these portable walls set up so nobody sees you. You’re not naked anyway. They tell you what's going on and what they're gonna do, and they're to the point, but they're not rude. They're professional and they get the job done, and then when you go from one station and you're handed off to the next one, they all just do their thing and then tell you when the results are gonna come back, and you're out of there. So, it's quick and easy. You make an appointment and they’re good at starting the appointments on time. I walk in there and I see a lot of people sitting there, but they move you along quickly.

    Life Line's overall price is reasonable. They have discounts. I'm not gonna do the testing every year, but every few years, I'll have it done. I'm now 66, so it's never a bad thing. I wish they had more options that would be part of the standard package. It would be nice to have some other tests like a blood test that checks for major things that could be going on that a regular doctor's office wouldn't check for. They also had ancillary services that you can pay extra if you want. One reason why I don't always go is like, “Okay. I already know I have AAA. You're checking my AAA that I already know I have. Now, you might be able to tell me how it's grown or it hasn't, but I'm already under treatment for it so I already know what I know. You're not gonna tell me anything I don't know about that.”

    I’ve used Life Line before and I went back but it was on a different location. I checked in and the rep said they would call me. I waited for an hour and no one called me, and I finally went back up. The rep said she didn’t have me on the list. Between when I checked in and I sat there for an hour, she said they would try to get me next and another 15 minutes later happened. Finally, they got me in. I was told I had an aneurysm and that I should see my doctor. So, I did and he scheduled another ultrasound with Penn Medicine. And Penn Medicine said I did not have an aneurysm so, there was a misdiagnosis.

Nowadays, I don't trust anything until I do some research and I didn't know if this is a legit thing. So I asked our primary doctor if these tests were legit and she said, "Yeah." The techs were fine. Everybody's different. There was one of them that could have been a little warmer. But everything's routine to them and they talk fast and my husband had a hard time understanding. These young kids talk fast.     I knew I had an aneurysm in my aorta and I wanted to see how it was growing or if it did. I did the screening in the arteries in my legs and arms, wherever they put the wraps on me. Then, they did an ultrasound on my aorta. The techs seem to do a well job. But the doctor and the surgeon made me get a CT scan because they didn't trust the ultrasound. He told me to wait for another six months.

    Life Line's a good service. I went to one of their venues a few times a few years ago and I enjoyed it. I went back recently at a different venue and it was good. But I went at 11 o'clock and when it was 12 o'clock, a lot of the techs disappeared at the same time for lunch. I had quite a wait until they came back at 1 o'clock. At the time, I couldn't sit anymore and I was walking around. I did seven tests and one of them came back not too good. It was something the doctor was worried about beforehand, which was why I went to them, but I haven't shown the doctor the report yet.

    I paid for the basic screen and the price was a little high. Also, the tech that screened for the aortic aneurysm had to go ask somebody for help. Life Line told me that my screen was abnormal but it was different than what I got from my doctor when they did the screen too. The one through the doctor was more efficient was well. They got me in, did a good scan, and got me out. I don't know that I would sign up for Life Line Screening again.

    My auntie had preventative screening done through Life Line a couple of years ago. So, she did get a letter in the mail, and she wanted to do it again. So, we did it. I took her to it. We did the three screening that they recommended. She didn't do any add-ons. She said that everybody was very nice. The screening was a lot quicker than we expected.     My fiancé went to Life Line a while back and they said that she had an abdominal aneurysm, so they did a CT scan and found that the abdominal aneurysm wasn't such a big deal, but she had cancer. So she got treatment. And from what the doctors say, she'd be dead by now if they hadn't found that. So that was a good thing. She convinced me to get that screening done as well so I went and did it. They found a 7x7 abdominal aneurysm and they said that it could explode any minute. So I went to the doctor and they looked at it. They said I needed to get that fixed right away. So I found a good surgeon and had all the tests done. Then they had me in the hospital and had this all done within a week.

    Life Line's screening process was a little disorganized at first, but they got everything done. The girl who was doing it didn't seem to be too sure. She had to check three or four times, then she brought somebody else in to do it again and that what when they said I got this aortic aneurysm. I've had CT scans for years and no one has ever mentioned this big thing that I had in my abdomen. It appears that Life Line does tests that people normally don't look at and it's been very useful.

    My holistic doctor suggested Life Line Screening, and so I signed up. I was right down the road from where their location was. We have two of them in Missoula. One of the reasons for taking the screening was to take a look at the aneurysm in my aorta. There are lots of heart diseases in my family, so I decided to get a screening with that. Life Line's reps were all really friendly. They talked me through the process and everybody was really professional. It turned out that I had crystallizations in my aorta. One ultrasound lady found that aneurysm and I made an immediate appointment with my doctor the next day. So she really alerted me to a situation that was quite dangerous. I would tell my friends to go get a screening from Life Line. But insurance doesn't pay for it, so it's kind of in-between the cracks of the health care system.

    I did a screening two years ago and I did a second one a couple of months ago. It was for bones and joints and the heart. I'm a veteran and I'm going to the VA and they're gonna give me a monitor for my heart next month. I'm still having an irregular heartbeat sometimes. So, they're working with me on that. Life Line’s price is high but I'm having other problems too and it's cheaper to go to them than to keep paying my regular doctor.     Somebody recommended Life Line Screening so we just had the screening done and we've been doing it for seven years. They found an aortic aneurysm on me seven years ago so I go just to get that measured every year. The technicians are always new so I tell them that I have one so I don't scare them when they see it. I’m very pleased with what Life Line does. Dealing with the technicians has been excellent and it’s a friendly atmosphere.     I went for all the tests because I'm getting older and I was happy I did. It was pretty thorough and the price was reasonable. Everybody at Life Line Screening was good, though some could be a little bit better. I also don't like some of the locations, but I've never had a problem. I still haven't gone over all my results and I have to get them to the doctor. I had trouble going online and getting all that information. But going with Life Line is worth it, especially as you get older. It gives you a lot more results. Half the doctors and the tests that they do are a waste of time though.

    I'm so happy I did Life Line screening. The technician noticed a Nodule on my left Thyroid, when ultrasounding arteries in neck. Thank God it wasn't Cancer. Now, my doctor has to check nodules yearly. I never knew they existed. Only one needed a biopsy. I was told it's common to have these on Thyroids. Thank You lifeline.

    I signed up for a OneLife annual membership and received my screening this year. I didn’t find the screening to be particularly helpful, or any better than what my doctor does, so I called to cancel the membership because it renews automatically. I was told that I could not cancel prior to the one-year mark, or they would charge me a fee. This makes no sense and was never disclosed when I purchased the membership. This is clearly a ploy to try to get elders to forget about their membership and let it run you each year. They make it difficult to cancel, which is horrible. This company is SCAMMY and slimy - stay away.

    I had a screening done three years ago, and this time, Life Line gave me a discount if I came back. I got four tests for $99, so my doctor said, “You know what? If I had to prescribe them individually, the copays would probably be more. So go do it if you got the $99,” which I did. They did a carotid artery scan, and there were three technicians who did it. They don't seem to know what they were doing, and were talking to each other about they would call an ambulance. And they told me I was almost totally blocked, and I said, “Well, then call an ambulance!” “We can't do that.” I said, “You know what? I'm going to my primary care doctor.”

    I showed my doctor the thing, and she said, “You do know one thing about Life Line Screening. They carry their equipment from place to place to place. And it's very seldom calibrated correctly.” She gave me a script, and I went to BayCare, which is a reputable place, and they did the same test. It was not critical, and I didn't need an ambulance. I had panic attacks. I already suffer from anxiety. Life Line Screening made me feel like I was about to die. I will never use them again.

    ANTHONY: I've used Life Line Screening twice. I had a blockage and I went to my doctor that wouldn't do the ultrasound of the carotids, and I got them to do it. I came in and they said, "Have a seat and then we'll do this and that." And she said, "We have these other things. Are you interested in any of these other different things?" I said, "Okay, maybe this one." She said, "Okay, have a seat." They started taking me through the spots and said, "Okay, you're all set."

    There's are a few things in my diet that I cut out, and I'm doing better. I can handle Doritos because they're not as salty, but all the other ones, especially the salty ones at the gas station, they're bad. My neck started throbbing and that was when I went into the Life Line Screening and told them, "Make sure you check this right here." But since I did that, and cut out a lot of salt, I'm doing better with them.

It was a very cheap diagnostic for me to find a problem that could have been life-threatening. We've always thought it's a bargain. That's why we keep going back.     Life Line Screening happened to be in the area, so I went there. They did the carotid arteries, the aortic aneurysm scan, and the peripheral artery disease. My carotid arteries were 95 and 99% occluded. They gave me results on the spot and told me to go to the doctor. They put the results of the whole thing and the sonogram pictures on a little thumb drive and said, "Take these to your doctor right now." I went to the doctor, the doctor sent me some more tests. I just returned home a few days ago from a four-way bypass and carotid endarterectomy that saved my life.

    I refer other people to Life Line Screening. I was glad they were there and I'm glad I decided to go. I always wanted to but never had $150. I did it all because they said I could set the balance of it up on a payment plan. So, I'm paying $20 a month to finish paying for it. For the price and convenience, I might as well get it done. The girls were great. They said I have blockage on the right side in the artery and I'm scheduled for surgery July the 10th. They called my doctor as soon as I left there. And they called me and told me to go straight to whichever emergency room I chose. I went to Saint Francis where all my other doctors are. They scanned the results and found it 70% and 50% on the other side. So, they did more testing. It's at 7.9 now. The lady that found it also had the lady beside her check it too, just to make sure.

    This screening has made such a difference knowing that I found that before. My mother died of cancer. And two years later, my husband also died with cancer. He found out he had it and he only lasted three months. So, I worry about things like that, and I've had precancer. But getting that screening done, I thought I might have trouble with my heart. I had no idea that I had plaque in an artery. So, it's wonderful that I found out. They didn't make any comments about me knowing about that. I told them about it. So, I don't know if they didn't know about it or they found out later after I saw them. But they were glad I went ahead and had it checked. None of this other stuff would have mattered had I not known that.

    The screening took a while and it didn't seem like the techs did much. They did what they said, but I was under the assumption that they were gonna do a little bit more screening than they did. Life Line checked my arteries and did an EKG. But the bad part is I'm paying for something and the information is right there and the people that are doing it know what's going on. So, I'd like some information right off the bat. I was waiting for a piece of paperwork that means nothing to me. I'm not a doctor. So, it's almost worthless. I can talk to somebody, then I can ask questions from what they tell me, and we can get an idea anyway. They say what they think they found instead of saying what they found, which would cover their liability. But nobody wants to do that. Everything's a secret and it is pissing me off.

    Life Line did one of my arteries and told me that I was over 90% blocked and I needed to go to the hospital right away. So, I went and had it done with a vascular specialist and both of my arteries were 40%, which I trust them a lot more than Life Line. So, I'm not that thrilled with it but I didn’t freak out. Everything else was fine but that one. The vascular specialist told me to come back in a year and they might check me again. But I don’t have to do anything. My amount of artery blockage is good. Being a 70-year-old man, I’m fine. I've got a bunch of stuff going on right then anyway. I just had my shoulder joint replaced and I'm going through bladder cancer treatment. So, I didn't need that added on at the time, but it's all good.

    The screening process with Life Line wasn't that bad. It didn't take but about an hour. There could be something that you have a problem with that they don't catch and they may have something that is a lot worse than it is. And that's true with a lot of things. It wasn't anything anybody did with the situation, it was just the test result. If I would have gotten an accurate reading, I would recommend Life Line to everybody.

    I had some tests done in March and I didn't get the result. I also didn't get the result in April. So I called them Life Line. They took down my email wrong. So I gave them the right email and told them to send it to me in writing because the doctors usually don't want you to show them something from your phone. But it's been over two weeks now and I haven't got the result in writing. I called them back for a second time to see if they had sent it and they said yes, but I should have got it by now.

    I had an arterial blockage type screening for aortic valve and carotid artery blockages as well as ankle-brachial blockages. The techs helped me position myself and let me know what they were going to do. It was very professional and took not more than 15 minutes. But Life Line put very generalized terms on the results instead of giving real data on the exact measurements. It doesn't seem like there was too much of that. They were just saying whether you were in a good or a bad range. In one instance, it was somewhat inaccurate and conflicting with itself. But the experience was generally good. There are no problems with me going to it. It's always a local thing. I have mentioned to co-workers that I was having this done and why I did it. I wanna keep track of things like this at my age and I can't ask a doctor to do it off-hand because they won't do it.

    Life Line Screening has the latest and greatest equipment out there. The process is quick. You get the information, fill it out and pay for the service. Then they send you email with regards to where you gotta be. They check my pressure and do wraps on my legs. Then they go through with the machine and check to see how my blood vessels are working in my heart. It's amazing because I got down there and was out of there and there were still a lot of people sitting there that were there before I was. Then I get the follow-up information in my email. I'm happy and I have told other friends about Life Line Screening. In fact, I saw one of them there. It's nice to have a second opinion. I'm 71 years old and at my age, I have things going on. I asked what he was talking about and he checked again. He said I was. I told him I knew that which was why I've been waiting for about an hour and a half in total. And he took me quickly.     My experience with Lifeline was pleasant until it came to the results. The purpose of doing such a screening is to alleviate stress about health concerns and this process has only created stress. I had the screening performed over two weeks ago, and have received multiple emails from the company stating that my results have been posted to the portal. When I login to the portal, the results still show pending. I have reached out to customer support and no one seems to be able to tell me where my results are or a reasonable timeline to get it resolved. This was simple bloodwork. Normal labs turn around these results within a few days, not weeks. I will never waste my money on this overpriced service again and would advise anyone looking for actual answers to go elsewhere.

    Not A Private Screening and Long Wait. This was my second screening. The first one I had done at a local hospital about 15 years ago and the actual screenings were done in a private-type room with only one individual at a time. This time, a local church was the site and it was held in their cafeteria with just curtains to separate the waiting area from the screening area.

    This was not a private screening. There were two stations set up doing two different types of screenings. My appointment was for 9:40 am but was not called for the first half of my screening until 10:45. When I registered at 9:40, it appeared they were still setting up the area. When I was called for the first screening, I was in the same screening area as another gentlemen who the tech was telling him what she had/had not seen. Then my screening began. When the first half was done, I was told to go back to the waiting area to be called for the last half. When I was called for that one, again, I was not alone. There was myself, a wife on the other bed and her husband standing next to her waiting his turn. When I called to make the appointment, I was told to allow an hour start to finish. I registered at 9:40 and didn't walk out until 11:15.

    My suggestions would be: (1) have the screenings private if health information is going to be discussed and (2) anticipate being there more than an hour. Also, I tried to go on-line to reach an actual supervisor/manager about my concern and, although it was during their normal business hours and it gave an option to "chat," that option was not working. I left an email asking for someone to contact me, no one has. When I called and finally spoke with an individual he told me to do what I had already told him I did but did agree to ask his supervisor to contact me. I have not heard back from anyone yet.

    I'm happy I went to Life Line Screening because I had an aortic aneurysm last August and they found another one that started. They saw that that was there and said, “As soon as you get your test results back, I want you to take them to your doctor.” I knew something was up, but they didn't freak me out. If I hadn't found that new one, who knows how long it would be. It’d be another month before I would have got the CAT scan done. Life Line saved my life. Their process is simple and they're super nice. All the techs make you feel very comfortable. The guy that did my legs and my arms was the nicest.

    We had a screening done with Life Line Screening 15 years ago and we decided it was time to try it again. The techs were very helpful and congenial. It was very good dealing with them. They were friendly and made sure we were comfortable. We got the four tests and we did different tests in four different stations. The results got my doctor's attention. She already got me to do another sonogram on my carotid artery because she saw that one and wanted to make sure it was real. She wants me to get checked further just to make sure that it's not gonna cause a problem any time soon. The screening could have been cheaper, but I know they've gotta pay all of the equipment and the techs so I understand.

    The technicians the last time I went were not as nice as technicians I've had in the past. They weren't horrible but I kind of felt like I was on an assembly line. Also, the exams are getting expensive so I couldn't do everything that I wanted to do. But I don't really run to the doctor every year because I believe more in life screening than I believe in the doctor. Life Line Screening found my aortic aneurysm and I would never have found it because I don't run to the doctor every year for an annual checkup. It's well worth it.

    I've done preventative screening a few years ago, so I thought it wouldn't hurt to have it checked again. I went to Life Line Screening. It was fine but they didn't tell you too much of what they were doing, which would have been nice to hear. Also, in one of the processes, it was hard because I lay on my back, which I used to never do. And the last one I had, there was a guy and a woman, and I could hardly sit up. I thought maybe they should have given me a hand or arm so that I could've pulled myself up. Also, I have never received anything yet and it's been since March 11th. I would think maybe no news is good news, but I don't know why it would take so terribly long to say it was just where it was at.

    Don't trust Life Line Screening. My family went for testing and there were 4 of us. My 22-year-old son came back with calcification in his carotid and me 55, grandma 78, spouse 57 all came back clear. Was so shocked that my 22-year-old son had calcifications that I took him to a cardiac clinic to have the test repeated and he came back clear. I feel like they switched the results with my spouse who had calcifications on his last coronary artery calcification test several years prior. When I provided Life Line Screening with the test results they didn't seem to care at all. Would not trust this company for accurate results. Your health is too important to entrust it to a company that doesn't care whether information is accurate or not.

    Life Line Screening explained what they were gonna do. They had a finding which was an abdominal aortic aneurysm. I went to the doctor but they didn't seem as concerned. It was three centimeters so they don't consider anything to do anything about. But even though my doctor didn't follow through with what I asked him to do, the fact that there was something else there, I'm glad. The doctor by chance did an EKG and saw something that looked different. It turned out I had an artery that was slightly blocked and they put a stent in while they were in there.

    I didn't like the attitude of several of the screeners and I didn't like their treatment of me in particular, seeing how I'm a heart surgeon. I said I wanted to take a look at the results but they told me that I have no choice but to rely on some interpreter that I don't know, never talked to, and never saw. I feel like I deserve the right to see what I paid for and they don't agree with that. I sort of expected that but what I didn't expect was a smart-ass attitude of the various screeners. Other than that, they were fairly efficient and courteous. From a standpoint of the average person looking at the service, I'd say it was pretty good.

    Life Line is set up in the churches around here, which I like because I don't have to go far. I like the convenience of getting everything done. I appreciate that. I always try to get all the blood work and all the ultrasounds. They make me feel very comfortable. I'm very pleased with them. It's also very reasonable, quick and professional. And it also coincides with what I have checked through my doctor. Also for the blood work, they use pipettes to suck up the blood. I'm surprised they can get so much diagnosis out of the relatively small sample of blood. My doctor has to take a vial of blood. They take much less.

    My experience with Life Line and the screening process was a bit sterile. When people go in for these things, it's hard to separate this experience from a primary doctor's experience whose part of their job is to be a little more personable and interested. Life Line did what I went there for and while I can't say it was particularly personable, it was effective. The communication was clear too. They stated right upfront that there should be some follow-up and that this information should be brought to a primary doctor, which is exactly what should be done because some of the information had no apparent meaning to me as to whether it was serious or not. The information was good. I took it to where it was supposed to go, and the doctor seemed to think it was a good starting point.

    The cost seemed reasonable as well. I ended up having to do some follow through and I found out at that time that this particular screening should have been covered under my Medicare. However, do I regret spending the money? No. 'Cause it pointed me in a direction and it will make me question some things before I commit to any direction after this.

    I went to have testing done 14 days ago and still no results, I spoke with the 1st lady on chat and she said the results are in and they should be on-line. I told her it still said they were pending. She waived the fee of $15, said to log off then come back in and they should be showing plus she would mail them but it will take up to 14 days. Needless to say I logged off, went back in and no results. Went into chat, spoke with someone else and they said I had to pay $15 to get my results mailed to me, WHY should I have to pay for results that I already paid for $177 in testing. It is not the consumer's fault that someone on their end is not doing their job. OR, are they just trying to scam us for more money? That is the ultimate question. I don't recommend them if you want answers.

    Life Line has great prices. I went down and had five tests done. When the results came back, they gave me a physician's copy too. I ran that down to my private doctor so that she could have a record of it and she wanted to follow up. She was scheduling me to have two more, my carotid artery left and right. She wanted to run another test for some reason. She doesn't have that much trust in Life Line Screening. But the last time I had those done, she followed up with some duplicate screenings. She said, "The Life Line Screening was right on the button. They were very precise with their results." Everybody says, "Their prices are so cheap. They can't be that good." But they're very accurate. I was also amazed that through the whole five screenings, they were very fast. They had all of them done in 25 minutes.

    Everything went pretty good. They did a test for the right and left side of my body. It said on my results that the right side had not come in and evidently, it was because it said I refused or didn't feel comfortable with them putting the measurement on my right side, which is crazy. So it's a mystery. But I did report it to them. So they're aware of it. They said they're gonna get back with me in a couple of days. That was a couple of days ago. So I would expect to hear something today or on Monday. The technicians were all very calm and patient. They knew exactly what needed to be done. It was a very good experience. Life Screening was very efficient in what they did. The measurements lined up with what the doctor understood. So that gives me great confidence when the doctor is good with what's handed in.

    I won't use Life Line again. The customer service was fine, but the results that I got showed that I had a possible aneurysm in my stomach. I was having trouble with my blood pressure running high, and I thought that Life Line might be able to tell me why if they found a blockage, but it turns out that their test made me even more concerned. I did the full round, which is five different things, and none of those tests were not something I've had done in the past.

    They told me in the screening process that if they saw anything, they’d let me know right away. Otherwise, I will get the results later in my mail. A week after the screening process, I got the results, and they said I had an aortic aneurysm building up. An aneurysm is deadly, and there's no coming back from that. I went to my regular doctor and had to do another test to verify the results. It turned out I was fine. It was a bad screening on Life Line's part, so I spent 200 something dollars for them and another couple $100 on my doctor and another test for nothing. My blood pressure has leveled back out. It's close enough to normal and I'm okay.

    When I asked my primary doctor about getting preventative screening done, she said the most economical way to do it would be to do the Life Line thing. I did the carotid ultrasound and abdominal ultrasound, hypertension, and peripheral vascular. I did kind of a basic thing. The screening process was straightforward. The wait wasn't long and the people were very friendly. They were moving right along, which was fine. They did a nice job. They weren't rushing me. The place was handy enough because it was right in town. So, I don't have to do a lot of traveling to get to it.

    The tech introduced herself, said what she was gonna do, told me what I needed to do, and did the screening. They were professional. I'm a nurse, so I know pretty much what they're doing. It was straightforward. They explained what tests they were doing and what I needed to do to position myself for that. It was short and sweet, but it was fine. They were really on task. Going to Life Line is nice. I didn't have to go to five different places to get the tests done. It's nice to have it all done at one place at one time.

    I had four screenings with Life Line. I had one around the ankle, cardiovascular, the carotid, and I had one other one. They were real professionals and talented. They were also very polite, very friendly, and attentive. They talked to me in a soft manner. They pretty much told me what they were doing and gave me instructions in a very clear manner. Plus, there was a follow-up call where they asked me some questions. There were reminders about the appointment and maps about how to get to the facility. So, it was almost like being walked step by step from the first contact until you got your results.

    The results were thorough though there's one thing I want to ask my doctor about. Also, I had a problem when I was logging in online. It seems like the website wouldn't accept my log in. But about several days later, I got a hard copy in the mail. So, it gave me what I wanted. All in all, the product was well worth the price. It was also a can't-beat deal. The results gave me a lot of comfort and some information on one of the tests so I can have a dialogue with my doctor to get some additional information.

    I've talked to several people and told them that this is something they ought to consider. But it looks like it comes at a point where they hear about it, they get information, then they look before they follow through and the screening's been gone from this area. It’s almost like you get a notice when they come in, and it's at a hotel nearby, but it's not like you can go every day of the week or get an appointment. And annually, I'd get a little pamphlet to know that they're going to be in town, so it's not like you can go any month you want to go. Other than that, Life Line's a well-run organization.

    We had an appointment, and when we went in, everything was great. There was no waiting, and the technicians were fantastic. They were very compassionate and took their time. They weren’t rushing to get us in or out and they did a great job. We sat down and went over the results. My wife was able to read everything, and they were fine. I had one problem that I knew was there. It's the aorta, but it's down in the abdominal, and I've had it diagnosed before. It's swollen out a bit. It has been for years, and I have it monitored every year to stay on top of it. Life Line Screening does a little of everything, and I've already recommended them to my friends. It's a good thing, and they're very professional, at least, where I went.

    I sign up with Life Line Screening once a year to get a complete checkup on my circulatory system, from aneurysms to plugged arteries to osteomyelitis to bone calcium. Then if there's a problem or a concern, I go to my doctor and she makes a further study, and everything's been working fine.     I was identified for four screenings and had three done. Life Line Screening couldn't do the circulation in the legs for some reason. I could understand most of the results myself though. An average person could read it and get some good information out of it. It set my mind at ease that I'm not getting worse. The process was a little time-consuming, but they did everything they could to speed things along. They did their job well. It's a worthwhile thing to do. It's a good price for what they did compared to what one would pay to the hospital. But be careful because they try to sell you more tests while you're there. They tried to put a little pressure on there, but once I said no, they let it go.

    Life Line Screening is worth doing. They checked my carotid and my blood flow. They said I had 3.1 abdominal aneurysm. As soon as I sent that to my doctor she wanted a test done at the hospital. I did and it didn't measure that. One thing said 2.1 and another said 2.3. The lady that was doing the screening at Line Line had asked for the person next to her to come over and help her. The other person came over and she finished it. I don't know if something wasn't working right.

    Our experience with Life Line Screening has been good. The reps seemed knowledgeable and they moved this right on through. We did several of the tests, and the one guy took a long time on my aorta, but the results have made me more aware of what's happening. It turns out that he found that I have an aortic aneurysm. My brother died from it, so it was important to know that. The finding prompted me to go to my doctor, get another scan, and the guy was right. It was there.

    My experience with Life Line was very good. I'm very appreciative of what they did. I've had it done several times over the years. The techs have always been very nice. I've never had a complaint about any of them. I have an aneurysm that showed up in an X-ray a couple of years ago. I wasn't told about it until just before I came the last time to have the testing done. They told me that it was at stage three. So that was very helpful to know. At stage five, you're supposed to have surgery.

    My husband and I did Life Line Screening. It was great. They knew what they were doing. I was curious about the blood work though. It's a finger probe with the cholesterol. Those are typically a vein blood draw, not a capillary. I don't know how accurate that is.

    I had three different techs that I went to at Life Line Screening and I couldn't have asked for any better service. They told me what I was gonna go through the whole way. Wherever I was at, someone was right there holding my hand. It was amazing. I had all the major arteries checked - in my neck, chest, and legs. I also did a blood pressure balance. They had blood pressure cuffs on my ankles and arms. They did a bone density test too.

    On the right side of my neck, I had a little bit of a restriction. But I was born with a vein in my neck called a serpentine vein so that's typical. But once they said there was some a blockage, they recommended I get someone else to look at it that would be more familiar with that vein. They're not acting like they're doctors. I forwarded the results to my doctor and let her look at them. Then I went in after a week and had her talk to me about the results and what her recommendation was. It worked out perfectly. I would do the screening again and my wife's gonna do it now too.

My doctor's happy I had it. So, it's a win-win all the way around. I had Life Line screening a few years ago. This COVID thing had everything messed up with the doctors and seeing them. After it was over, I was behind on some of my imaging. So, that was when I got the letter from Life Line. I got a discount, and that helped even more.     I like the screening with Life Line. I took the result to the doctor and he was pleased that I did it. I had one result that was questionable. He told me that it was something that we would watch, but it wasn't something to be concerned about. My wife was happy with her results also. The part that I didn't care for was one of the technicians that was working with me. I wanted to ask her some questions. But when I would speak to her, she would pull her headphones away and you could hear that she was listening to music. She acted like I was bothering her to ask her a question. I felt uncomfortable asking her any more questions. I felt like she was purposely making me feel she didn't want me to talk to her. Instead of taking the headphones off and conversing, she just held it out quick enough to answer my question then resumed listening to her music.

    The day I went for the screening was great. The problem was they were on an address with the same name of the mortuary, and I also had the date wrong. So, I showed up one day early, I went into the mortuary, and everybody was dressed all nice, probably sad over somebody's passing. I came back the next day and then everything was surprisingly easy and quick. The service was surprisingly expeditious. All the employees were great. Everybody was super friendly, very easy, and there was no invasiveness. The whole experience was great. I got my results in a few weeks. The info that I got back is helpful. I have all this info going into my yearly physical. So, I feel pretty good about it.
