I thought it would be safer to have a medical alert device so I got one from Lively Mobile. I hook it on my bra strap and it's all right. It feels comfortable. Also, I call in a couple of times to test it and make sure it's working. Overall, I'm satisfied.

In the middle of the night, when you fall, you need somebody. It makes me feel good knowing I have my Lively Mobile. The device is all right that I wear it just like a necklace. It's excellent and if a friend asks about it, I would say it would be a good thing to get. I wouldn’t go without it, I know.

I was getting old and I was having a few problems. I was just 84 years old but I couldn’t walk very good so I got a walker. And I got the Lively Mobile as well. I wear it around my neck and it doesn’t bother me. It's right where I can just mash it if I need anybody. If I fall or something happens, somebody will come and see what it is. I wear the device when I’m by myself but if somebody’s with me, I don’t wear it. I like Lively Mobile. They're very nice and I would recommend it to anybody if they need something that they can buzz when they get hurt and they don’t have anybody with them.

I got a medical alert device due to my age and my daughter thinks it’s good that I got one but I just feel fine. I also wonder sometimes if I could get one cheaper. Still, I’m glad I got the Lively Mobile. If I need it, I got it and I have it with me most of the time. I don’t like it on my neck though. I feel that weight. I have it in my pocket or in my purse instead when I’m going. I also always have it by my bed but I live right in town so I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better if I just use my phone and call 911. It would be faster rather than having Lively Mobile come on the phone then they'd have to get someone to come here. If I call 911, they know where I live and they’d be right here. But now that I got the Lively Mobile and I have signed up, I just need it.
My granddaughter pressed the button by mistake once. She’s about four years old and that scared her. But the people at Lively Mobile were right on it. When her mother saw what she did and someone had gotten on, she informed them that I was fine. She told them that it was her daughter who did it and that was that. Overall, I’m satisfied with it.

I’m 93 and seeing the commercials about life alert made me feel as if I needed it. I’ve read things about Lively Mobile in different advertisements and I’m convinced it’s the best. I like it very much and I want it with me. I’ve kept it with me day and night. I keep it charged and put it in either my blouse or pants pocket. I used it once when I fell and I couldn’t get up, and their team responded quickly in a timely manner. I feel more secure since having the device and it’s serving a purpose of what it’s meant to be.

I’m 85 and I’m frightened that I might fall so I needed a medical alert device. I haven’t had to use it at all but I’m glad I have Lively Mobile. I have it in my pocket and if not, I have it on the outside of my purse. I tried the device when I first had it. I wanted to make sure it was activated if I sleep. I feel a lot safer and I have it in the cradle right by my bedside. It’s there if I fall and I’m very satisfied with it.

My father passed away in January of 2017 and my mother had been with him and the caregivers until that point in time. After that, we thought that it might be good for her to have access to a medical alert device since she was living at home by herself. She’s been using the Lively Mobile for about 18 months now. It would work outside the home. So she can wear it while she’s outside the base area range and she would need to have her cell phone with her if she needed help. We've tested the button and the response is immediate. It's great.
But my mother is in a retirement facility now and probably doesn’t wear the device as much as she could. She’s also become a little bit more cognizant and a little bit more able to use the cellphone to call me rather than using the device for emergencies. But it’s good to know that it’s available, charged and ready to go if she would wanna put it on herself to go out somewhere. It’s also good to know that it’s there if she were to experience a fall or something where she would need urgent medical attention.

I got the Lively Mobile for emergencies. I need it because I live here in the ranch by myself and it's 20 acres. The only time I have somebody come is on Wednesdays. They bring in firewood in the winter and mow and blow in the summer. I kept the device all the time with me because that’s the purpose of it. I feel safer and more secure when I have it. I have recommended it as well.
I depended on Lively Mobile but the house ate it and now, I feel lost. I called months ago and they were very thorough about using their methods to find it. They located it by satellite, I guess, and it is here. But of course, the battery has ran down so I’m just buying a dead horse. I’ve been paying constantly, thinking it’s in an apron pocket. It has been months and it's been a burden to pay for it every month. But it's easier to pay it than starting a new project. They said that if it would be replaced, I would have to start over in terms of the passwords. I don’t have the time or the energy to do that. But it’s not anybody’s fault but my own.

My mother is home alone and she wears her Lively Mobile device like a necklace. She accidentally used the button and she had two falls where it has worked. The device, however, doesn’t hold a charge for the full day and it has been a bit concerning. We had a problem already where it wasn’t charging and Lively Mobile gave us a replacement. The people there have been fine whenever I speak with them. They said that what they gave us was a rebuilt model and yet it is doing the same thing. We’ve been tracking the device's performance for the past week to see what time it starts beeping that it needs to go back on the charger. We are gonna call Lively Mobile again.

I had fallen about three times and I live by myself. Last time I fell, I was on the floor for six hours. My kids insisted on me getting a medical alert device and I feel comfortable with my Lively Mobile. The one time I needed it, it came through. I fell a year ago and the response was very quick. The young lady who answered the phone took care of exactly what she was supposed to do. Plus she stayed on the line with me the whole time until the EMS got there. Within 20 minutes, the EMS was there and they took care of me. At the time, I had injured my arm but they were just scrapes and bruises, and I didn’t have to go to the hospital. Everything went smoothly and it was very professionally done. I’m very pleased with Lively Mobile and I’ve also recommended it to a number of friends.

I carry my Lively Mobile device everyday and while I really haven’t used it, I’m happy with it. I put my device in my pocket. I can’t stand it around my neck because it’s jiggling around it. Shortly after I got my device, my cradle didn’t work and they sent me another one. They were very nice because they mailed it to me right away.
One time, I called when they were advertising a different model at 25% off, and the guy that answered the phone said, “Are you a customer?” Because I had called on a different line, there wasn’t a line that you could call on in the ad. I said, “Yes, I am. I have one.” He then asked what do I need another one for. My daughter was thinking of getting one, and I was really checking for her. But at the same time, I know it’s smaller and it’s lighter, and I didn’t know price-wise if it was about the same as what I have, and if it covers the different things that I have. He didn’t answer me and kinda hung up on me. So I didn’t call back. Other than that, I would recommend Lively Mobile to anybody. It’s a great company.

Lively Mobile is a good product and cheaper than others. I've had it for a couple of years and I feel pretty good about it. I fell down one time and my kids bought a Lively device for me. I didn't want it, but I'm getting older and if I go down, I'm gonna need somebody to call. The device works all right and it's been nice. I like the idea, but I'm not satisfied with the piece. I had the big metal one and then they cut down a little bit, which is still bulky. I've had it a little over two years and when I go to the club, everybody's got a small one hanging under their shirt and you don't even know it's there. Meanwhile, I got this in my pocket and if I fall in my pocket, I don't know if I'm gonna be able to get to this. If you go on TV, they got these thin ones people put on and I'd like to get one of them instead of this heavy thing, which is also so damn wide and big. It's ridiculous.

I've had my Lively Mobile button for three years now and I've only used it one time. I woke up at around 11 o’clock and I didn't know what was wrong with me. When I pushed that button, I had help quickly. The rep called everybody on the list but because it was a foreign area code, none of the family would answer. It wasn't the rep's fault. She did everything she could do, and she stayed on the phone and didn't leave me, not one minute. It was 25 minutes before I ever got any help. I finally called my niece myself and she got the ambulance. When I started out the door, I said that I knew what was wrong with me. My sugar had gone up to 400 and some. But I had never had experience of that sugar being up so I didn't know what was wrong with me. But now, the family knows to answer Lively Mobile.
I carry the button in my pocket although I carry my cellphone in my pocket too. At the time that I got the button, I was falling. I came up with spinal stenosis and I'm too old. People wouldn't do anything about it and I just had to struggle with it. But I haven't fallen in a long time now. I guess I've learned to walk. I walk with a walker in the house and then when I go out, I walk with a cane just because I'm afraid to get out and fall. Still, we're all up in our 80s and every one of us has got a button. My sister says that she can't do without her. And I'm not gonna do without mine either. It's security that I know.

I am 73 years old and do at times trip and fall. I have had my device maybe 2 years and when the newest one came out it was upgraded. The problem I have had is that in the past year I have fallen 3 times and the fall detection never did anything. I have talked to customer service each time and had gotten 3 different answers. All have said that it is only activated when you fall a certain way. REALLY. I have complained enough that each time I was sent a new one. I just received my third one and I am hesitant in using it. The last time I fell (3 weeks ago), it did not go off until 14 hours later, surprise. I guess I was very lucky to be able to finally got up on my own, maybe next time I will just lay there till I expire. I really want to believe in the product, and feel that if I am paying extra for the fall detection, It should work when I do fall. Not really happy.
Hello Mike, we are sorry to hear about your experience and that you are not completely satisfied with the Lively Mobile and we appreciate your feedback. The fall event should be detected almost immediately. The emergency call is made approximately 20 seconds after the fall event. If you can get up and walk within this 20 second interval, then your safety device will not make an emergency call. The safety device may not detect 100% of all falls. In the event of a fall, always press the Call Button if you do not hear the voice prompt that your fall has been detected.

At times, I feel that I really don't need my Lively Mobile but to make my family happy, I have it. It's on the side of my bed. I'm supposed to wear it but I can't stand anything around my neck. My children say, "What good is it, Mom, if you fall and you can't get up?" But I feel that if anything's gonna happen, it would be in bed. That is a stupid way to think though, because I can fall and there are a million things that can happen but I don't worry about it. It's terrible. Every so often, I would tap the buzzer and they're right there when I hit it. Someone would come on and answer. They've been very good and accurate. My daughter bought me a Lively Mobile device but I’m not a fan of these things. I keep it charged and I know exactly where it is but it’s not around my neck unless I’m going up a ladder and if I’m hanging curtains or doing something that I shouldn’t. I’ve had it for a few years now and I’ve only used it to call once in a while to make sure it’s working. If there’s nobody around, the Lively Mobile is my help button and it’s better than not having it on but it’s a nuisance and I can’t be bothered with it when I’m doing my housework. I don’t want things around my neck and I’m not comfortable with things hanging on my body. I have been independent for a long time and I remained so because I want to and that one hanging around my neck made me feel I have to have someone looking after me. I'm 85 years old but I have always been self-sufficient and confident in my own judgment. I'm careful if I go up and downstairs or involved in any physical activity. I don't overdo myself. I do have a sense of security when I wear my Lively Mobile.
I've had Lively Mobile for a couple of years now and the middle light sometimes flashes red where normally it's green all the time. I get curious if it's still working so I'd press the button and I probably have pressed it over three times, and I always tell their reps it's not an emergency. Every once and a while, the battery will warn that it needs charging and I had to contact them about how to do that. Also, I have pants that don't have pockets and I put the necklace thing on which I can't figure out how to do. I had my booklet out and it said that I had an attachment included that I could hook it on to my pocket. But I don't recall receiving that. I went through a drawer where I keep things like that and I couldn't find that. But a lot of this is my fault that I didn't read all of the material correctly. I have learned that when it needs to be charged, it will give the little warning.
The device has been operative and I could use it. Also, the reps were pretty good to respond when I have a question. And I have a niece that lives in an area where I have to go through a park and there are no cell towers or anything like that, so it would have to depend on the satellite. Paid almost $100 and they only returned $67. They charge you for stocking fee and they charge you for activation fee. The first time I spoke to them they told me they would return my stocking fee because I only had it one day, we never received the money and when I called they told me no. When I go down to my basement, I think twice about getting on the steps and I go back and get my Hug on. Also, I have a dog and I take him walking, so I don’t use it as far as an extra piece to take walking. Not that my dog will help, but we just walk in the neighborhood and I figure somebody would find me if I fall. I don’t dislike the device but I don’t feel compelled that I really need it. But it is a good thing and maybe I'm just a little bit lazy about using it.
I keep the device in its holder and when I take it out and wear it, I know it works because it makes a little sound. It is also easy to use and I wear it around my neck. It could also have a clip that I could use so that it's not moving. Overall I feel safer because I'm not very savvy yet with a different phone. A lot of times, I carry the device with me in the vehicle because it might be the only emergency situation I have. I would recommend it.

I had a stroke and had difficulty getting to the phone so I needed a medical alert device. I'm very satisfied with my Lively Mobile medical alert device. I'm glad to have it. There's a comfort in having it and knowing that if something comes up, I can get help quickly. I wear it if I'm going out alone or if I'm going to an appointment at some place but if I know I'm gonna be around a lot of people, there's a little less pressure to wear it. I recommend Lively Mobile.

I purchased this product for my mom . She lives alone and had recently fallen. As her only child I wanted to provide her the independence of living alone with the peace of mind for me she was ok. 5 times in the last month I get a message on the link app that her pendant doesn’t have service or is turned off. My mom or I did not receive a call notifying us that there was a problem. If the device is off it cannot detect her if she falls at home or away.
I called customer service and the first person stated that everything on their end was ok. Wanted me to restart device which was not possible as I am not living with my mom and she has arthritis and is blind in one eye. She then said it was the link application, transferred me to another tech who said the device has been powered off for 7 hours. Again my question is why was I or my mother not notified. And why didn’t the first person I talked to know this information. I sure would appreciate a call from supervisor.
There are different reasons why the device may say it is turned off on the GreatCall Link app including low battery life. The device does have a Low Battery notification at approximately 8 hours before the battery expires and if your mother isn’t charging the device daily, it will power down when it runs out of battery. Since this is a public site and we wouldn’t want you to post your personal information, we would recommend calling our Customer Service at 1-800-733-6632 between 5:00am and 8:00pm, Pacific Time, and ask to speak with a Supervisor if you have any additional questions.

I wear my Lively Mobile device on my body. The cord that it came on scratched and irritated my neck. So I took the cord off and put a little ribbon on it and I pin it to my bra. I've had to use my device a couple of times and it worked okay. I got help. I'm handicapped, I'm 93 years old and I live in my home. And if I fall, I can't get up without help. When I fell while I was outside, I pushed the button and a man answered me immediately and wanted to know what my problem was. I told him I was outside and I fell and I couldn't get up without help. He then said, "Well, hold on. Don't you hang up on me. I'll be right back." So he called and got my help and it wasn't long until I heard the sirens on. I heard them come and they got me up. I wasn't injured. I just couldn't get up. I was treated nicely. My Lively Mobile device came in handy for me.

My nephew looked into it and I got Lively. Having it makes me secure, and I make sure that I wear it when my aide is not around. At night, if I gotta get up and go to the bathroom and all I do is press it in an emergency, they are alerted. You can wear it any way you wanna wear it. You can put a ribbon or a chain on it, depending on where you're wearing it. I would recommend it to anybody who lives alone and feels that they're alone at night.

The response then was very fast. The only problem I have is that it weighs more than I would like it because I wear it around my neck. My Lively Mobile device is a pain in the butt because if I don't wear it, then my neighbors and my son will know about it. My son said I paid for so I need to wear it and get protection. However, it requires too much work and effort. If I'm dressing up to go somewhere, I'll pin it in my bra rather than wear it around my neck. I don't want that black strap showing all the time.
I tuck it every night. I put it on the night stand and put it upside down because I don't want that flashing light in my eyes all night. For me to go out and work in the yard, it's a little awkward. I do know there's some of these monitors that have a wrist bracelet and it would be more beneficial for me if I have that, rather than have to wear it around my neck. I put the device back in the cradle when I get up in the morning, at 6:00 o'clock and twice they've called to ask if I'm alright and said that it seemed like I dropped it one time from the bedroom to here in the den where I keep it. For its purpose and function I would recommend it.

We are staying with the company but the quality of the GreatCall Mobile device declined when they switched from 5 Star Splash to the Lively Mobile. The new mobile device in its best performance has kept the charge for close to 8-9 hrs. My mom and I followed up with the company. It was checked over the phone. Previously we were told to give the Lively Mobile device a chance because if we get a replacement and the old device is found to be ok, then we would have to pay for the new device, too. Because of this threat, we shrugged our shoulders and decided to wait. Today when we called to report the worsening problem, the customer service rep, who was very professional, said he will send out a new Lively Mobile device, no problem.
The company is soon getting new charging stations which will give the device 18 hrs, he said. It seems like GreatCall is recognizing what happened with the mobile device change-over. Before the mobile device change-over, I would have given GreatCall 5 Stars for this particular service because the emergency response, customer care responsiveness, and computer program are excellent. I hope the new device my mom receives and eventual new charging station bring the quality of GreatCall back to what it was!

I purchased a unit for my mother about 9 months ago. The first unit worked fine for a while then a problem developed. A new unit was sent out. The second unit failed again and a 3rd unit was received. That unit would only stay charged for 4-5 hours a day before the light turned red and had to go back in charger. That's really not a good way to monitor for falls day after day. Called customer service and a fourth unit was recently sent and again it has the same charging issues. My mother lives alone and this not acceptable. A battery should at least last more like 16-18 hours. I will be looking for another company as soon as I can.
Bob, we are sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with the Lively Mobile and we appreciate your feedback. Most devices stay charged up to 24 hours, however, signal strength and some active services may cause the battery to drain faster. We do recommend that the Lively Mobile be charged daily, for at least 90 minutes and it can be charged overnight as you cannot over charge it. If possible, a 15 or 30 minute charge during the day will boost the current charge and you may find that it last longer. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

But the Lively is unpredictable... don't even know it's not working when it stops, until I go to charge it and it makes no sound and pushing the button doesn't work at all. Yesterday, I thought the replacement device was operating, so felt safe to do some work in my garden. Came in the ! to rest, put it in the charger and SILENCE. PUSHED THE ALERT BUTTON, NOTHING - but the light kept blinking on and off as if safety in place. GUESS THIS DEVICE IS JUST LIKE CUSTOMER SUPPORT - ISN'T OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY EITHER! I am fed up with this not great at all product!
Renee, we are sorry to hear of your experience with your Lively Mobile and we appreciate your feedback. The Lively Mobile has a Service Indicator in the center of the device that blinks white when your device is in a coverage area, indicating your device is working. If you are in a no coverage area, this same light will blink red. The Battery indicator, above the Service Indicator, will be off when the device is fully charged, and it will flash red when the battery is low and needs charging. While charging, the Battery Indicator flashes green and when fully charged, it will be a solid green light. If the Battery Indicator does not flash green when charging, please call Customer Service, 1 800-733-6632, between the hours of 5am and 8pm Pacific Time, and advise of this specific issue, so that a resolution can be found. At any time, you can test your device by pressing the button and advising the agent that it is a test call. We do recommend that you charge your Lively Mobile for at least 90 minutes per day and you can charge it overnight as it cannot be over charged.

My husband is 90 years old and we got the GreatCall Lively Mobile medical alert device about a year ago so we would have it if we had an emergency. I called in and had it sent up to us. It’s charged to my credit card and I pay 31 something every month. Our interaction with the customer service team at Lively Mobile was okay. I used the device once when my husband fell in the bathroom. I had to call somebody to help me get him up and they asked me what was wrong. I told them my husband had fallen and that I cannot help him get up because he’s too heavy. Besides that, the bathroom is small and he's 6 feet tall and he was kinda trapped in between. The rep said that they would have somebody out there to help me right away. Someone was there really fast.
The alert device is a nice security thing here. If something happens, I can call for help. My husband has a pacemaker and he’s afraid to wear it. He doesn’t carry the alert device with him all the time and the one that we have here is just for the home. It’s plugged in here and I have to keep my eye if he’s outside or whatever. If he falls, I would run in and I’m the one that would push the button on it. Nevertheless, having a Lively Mobile device is a very good idea for emergency purposes and I would recommend it.

Since we know the Lively Mobile device is working other than our house, we feel more comfortable that my wife has it. We've recommended quite a few people to them for that reason. When we went camping, I called to ask them if they could bring the signal up in case we had an emergency and they said, "Sure. We got it. We know exactly where you're at and everything."
It rained hard while we were camping and when we got something to eat my wife grabbed the handle on the camper to go inside and her hand slipped, and she fell and broke her wrist and arm. It wasn’t two minutes that the Lively Mobile team was on the phone and asked if we needed an ambulance. I said, "No. I'm gonna carry her to the hospital." They said, "Do you know where the hospital is? You will have to go to the end of the road on the camp grounds. Take a left. Stay till the end of the road. Cross over the road and take that road to the top of the hill and then at the top of the hill is the hospital on the right hand side."
When we got to the hospital, the lady said a nurse would be waiting on us. They had everything ready when we got there. They would call in once in a while just to check and make sure everything was alright and we were well pleased with them. There was no paperwork or anything. They had everything done for us so that saves a lot of time there. The doctor reset my wife's arm and wrapped it and all that stuff. He got her comfortable. It worked out because we had to leave the next day. When we went to the specialist in town he looked at the injuries and said, "They've done a good job. Done exactly by text."
I really appreciate the good job Lively Mobile did. I appreciate the efficiency and the knowledge they had of us and how they handled the situation. It kept us from doing any panicking and the instructions were very thorough. If I could recommend them to somebody, I would be more than happy to. I would buy their product again. I would also feel very comfortable using it.

Please do not count on this device to protect your elderly parent. We got it for my 88 year old mother-in-law who lives alone & has fallen before. We had paid on the device for 16 months & on April 3, 2018, Mom fell & the fall function did not alert. In trying to get herself up, it got wrapped around behind her & she could not press the button for help. She laid on a cold, hard tile floor for about 18 hours before we found her. She spent 2 weeks in the hospital & since then has been in assisted living.
I called Lively on 4/17 to discontinue service & requested a refund since we don't know if it ever worked. Missa told me she was escalating complaint to manager who would call me back. On 5/29, after not hearing anything from them, I called again & spoke to Justin, who took all information again & said he would refer to Leadership team & someone would call back. It's now 8/15 & I still have not heard from anyone. This tells me that all they're interested in is collecting their monthly fee. They don't care about our parent & they won't care about yours. I would like to know why the fall feature, that we had to pay extra for did not alert. We were lulled into a false sense of security with this device & if we had not been checking on mom daily, it could have ended even worse than it did. Do not trust this device.

I'm past 88 years old and I have a GreatCall. One time, I was walking from my living room into my dining room and I had a stroke on my left side. My leg and my left arm were up and weak but still usable and I hit the floor. My grandson's big white shepherd dog was there with me and he didn't know what to do for me. Then my GreatCall went off and I couldn't make out what the lady was saying until finally, I started to get to my senses.
My grandson and his wife lives here with me and takes care of me but they were on vacation in Mexico at the time. My son next door was also away and my other grandson up towards Pittsburgh wasn't available. There was nobody to get a hold of, so GreatCall's rep got the ambulance out here and I was able to make it up. I didn't break any bones but I was badly messed up. I hobbled out to my patio enclosure on one leg, leaned in against the wall, and got out there when the ambulance came. I talked to them and heard my son come home. He talked to them and I told them that I wanted to wait for a little bit until my grandson got home because he was on his way home with his wife. So, I ended up in the hospital and I was up there for four days. It took me two months to get straightened out.
I also got a power wheelchair that I have to use to get around outside and one time, I dropped off the edge of the walk and it tipped over with me. That jolted me but GreatCall come on right away. I couldn't figure out what their rep was saying as my head wasn't cleared up yet but my grandson took over and talked to him. He was also able to get me back up, got the wheelchair up, and got me in it. GreatCall's rep wanted the ambulance to come out but my grandson told him that he didn't think it was gonna be necessary, so I didn't go to hospital anymore.
Based on my experience, GreatCall's response was very good. I love this device and I don't ever want to be without one again. I wear it around my neck and it's very comfortable. I don't even realize I got it there. But my GreatCall got to a place here where it didn't wanna run all day. It started to beep an alarm about 7 o'clock in the evening before I was ready to go to bed and the battery got weak on it. I was thinking about getting a new one but I don't know how to do that because they'd bill me for the one I got and the new one, too. Other than that, GreatCall is very helpful and I would recommend them to anybody. They're the one to go to because the device comes off from the satellite no matter where you're at. That's the best one. These other ones are just good in your house and they ain't worth a dime when you're out someplace.

My husband is an invalid. He cannot stand or walk and he is usually in a motorized wheelchair. Sometimes, when he is out, he gets stuck and he has fallen out of the chair a few times. I purchased a Lively Mobile for him and it has come in very handy. It has worked well, too. We've been very satisfied with it and it has been quite helpful. Also, our kids kind of wanted it to start out with because we live on a farm and my husband likes to get out.
I'm the first one on the list to call if anything happens to my husband and sometimes when I'm in the house and not out with him, he buzzes it and Lively calls me then I go to find him and find out what's wrong. So, my husband is able to go outside more independently because of the alert button and I don't have to go out with him. Otherwise I stay right close by in case he gets stuck again and needs a push. We've had to call 911 a few times as well when he had fallen out of the chair and I could not lift him but I could determine if he was injured in any way.
When we got the Lively Mobile, we put our emergency number on it and my husband has it all the time, so if we need to call for a roadside service, he could call them and I'm very comfortable with that. But a few times, I had problems when my husband had not been able to understand the responder from Lively. The last time, he got stuck up at the shop. He was going up there and he was on his chair. There must have to be a little ditch there and he was cut on both sides. But the responder called me to tell me that my husband needed my help. So, Lively gives him some security and if he has a problem and he punches the device, they're going to call or notify the ones that are on the list and he can get some help. I'm comfortable with him going outside knowing that he can do this and if he needs my help, I can go and get the help if needed.
We plug the device in every night when we go to the bed on the charger that's right beside my husband's night stand and when we did that last night, for some reason, the light in the upper right hand corner stayed red all night long. Usually when I see that, I kind of move it around to make sure that it's in the charger and the seat part of it. And usually, that does it. But my husband was up late last night watching the ball game and I thought maybe it was off the charger too long. So when I moved it around, it did not get the green light back on even though it was on the charger. This morning, the red light was still on, but I didn't move it around. Then the green came on and we just left it on there for a little while longer to make sure that it was charged.
Other than that, we've been very pleased with Lively Mobile. It gives us a lot of peace of mind and security for my invalid husband. He wears the device all the time but sometimes it'd slide out when he bends over on his wheelchair. So, I put it on a necklace or chain around his neck and it works great. I have also recommended it to friends.
I've also talked to other friends that have the Lively Mobile as and they've been impressed. Some of them changed from a different company because of the range since Lively can be used everywhere. The device has a longer range than a lot of other medical alert buttons and I like that. We have a friend that has very limited range in the area that he was able to cover with his alert button and one of my friends even said that his old device didn't work if he went to the bank, but the Lively Mobile does. Also, from what I have heard from others, the cost of Lively's service is pretty good and not outrageous as far as the monthly charge on it is concerned.

I was passing out and could not be brought to the hospital without going in an ambulance and my family was afraid to let me go anywhere by myself. I was referred to Lively Mobile by a friend and I called the 800 number. I have a large Lively Mobile pendant and I put it on my bra and wear it everyday. I take it off at night, put it on the charger and put it back on me the next morning. The other night, it triggered something. It said it was a fall alert and it said to push the button to cancel it. I pushed the button but it didn’t cancel it. This was midnight and the police called me. Then somebody called me and she had my name wrong and then she called my daughter. First, my son-in-law answered the phone and he could not understand her. Then, my daughter got on her machine and she just hung up because she thought that it wasn't my name so she had no idea who it was. Lively Mobile should check the names a little more carefully.
But I’ve been happy with Lively Mobile. It reacts quickly. It has kicked in for me about five times. One time, I dropped it when I was putting it on and it right away kicked in with the fall alert and I got a response from Lively Mobile. I have encouraged some of my friends to get one and one of them tried to send in the information to give me a credit like Lively Mobile said I would get and they kept telling me that the patient number I gave them wasn’t right and I don’t know if I ever got a credit or not. But overall, Lively Mobile has given my family more peace of mind that if I should fall, there will be somebody right here.

Sharon has been falling and we were concerned about her safety when she is by herself. She wears the device around her neck and she says it bothers her when she sleeps, but otherwise, it’s perfect for her. She gets a call any time it detects a fall. The reps call quickly and they know that she doesn’t quite understand how to talk to them when they’re trying to get her attention through the device. There have been times when the EMS came but there were also times when she has fallen and it didn’t connect to either emergency services or Lively Mobile's reps. But overall, the Lively Mobile works well.

Marilyn has a bad memory and I’m afraid that something would happen to her. I got the Lively Mobile device because we were going to Florida and I was afraid if she got away but we’re not gonna go anymore because I got sick last year. She never wants to leave and I don’t know what to do if I should keep it. She stays home all the time so I don’t put the device on her because when she sits down, she drops it and then it goes off. But if we go someplace, I put it on her in case she gets separated from us. It’s on her neck and it’s comfortable but she’s self-conscious. She won’t go anywhere with it because she says if people see her with it on, they’ll think she’s crazy.
Every place she goes, she just drops down. And I’m home almost 90% of the time, so I probably should just stop it. But if we go to any place, I'd like to make sure she wears it. I worry about her but if she goes into the bathroom, I make sure I can sit in a chair and watch her when she comes out the door and make her feel like she’s not being treated like a baby. We’re going away for a couple of weeks in October. We got a condo someplace and we’re gonna go for a seller tour and I’ll put it on her then but I might just cancel it after that. When she has used it though, it has worked well, plus Lively Mobile’s reps have been very nice.

My son bought a Lively Mobile unit at Walmart for his dad for Father's Day. It was still about $19 a month that time. We had that for a few years and when he passed away, I picked it up because I live alone. Lively Mobile's reps are wonderful. The first time that I had an issue with it, they told me how to correct it, then it worked a while. The second time though, the light just went red and stayed red, so I needed a new unit. My daughter called in last week and it came at a very appropriate time because I use it when I go out of town. When I go out of town, I have it in the car with me and I wear it when I'm on a trip. I usually test the button before I'm going on a long trip and the response time is almost immediate.
I had trouble the other day though and I'm never sure how long I'm supposed to charge it. Also, I am disappointed that they didn't leave me at my original rate. Now, they've got me up to about $23 a month. My friend, who got his unit at the same time my husband did, rants that $19 is too high and Lively Mobile grandfathered his unit in because he complained. Also, I noticed that Lively Mobile has an elderly woman in the advertisements but the device should be for any age. I have a daughter that lives alone and anyone living alone needs to have this Lively Mobile device.

I tried to explain that there was no expiration date on the box. He continued to talk over me and repeat that the offer has expired. He continued to do this until I canceled the call. I asked for a supervisor and he continued to repeat the offer is over. He then told me that if I wanted to have them call hospice that would be an additional 5.00. This company has lost a customer but the hospice nurse was with me so I sure she won't be recommending this company either and I will be bad mouthing you as a company with the worst customer service I've ever encountered.

I’m not steady on my feet and I walk with a cane, but it also got me into trouble. So, my son decided to get me a medical alert device. I had an Alert One, but they gave my son a lot of problems, so he told me to cancel it and that we will go to somebody else. He went to GreatCall Lively Mobile. When I got the device, I was looking for something under the bed and, all of a sudden, it triggered it off. GreatCall thought I had fallen and they were right there.
They were very pleasant and very informative and they kept asking me, “GreatCall would like to know if you’re all right, Muriel.” I said I was all right and that I was looking for something under the bed and I forgot that it was on there and it hit the floor. And then I heard, “GreatCall, GreatCall, are you hurt? Are you hurt?” I said, “No.” I had that on there and it hit the floor and I figured something was gonna happen. I said, “I’m fine, I’m fine.” And they asked it again, “Are you all right?” I said, “I am all right.” The device hit the floor and they thought that I had fallen, although I did not.
I was with my son one day and by six o’clock in the morning, the device went red on me. We did not know what was going on. When it’s hanging and it’s uncomfortable, I put it inside my shirt, but this day, I left it out because I was very busy and on my feet all day. And then my son heard something on the phone and that’s when he went through the process of redoing it. I also used it in the shower and it got too wet and I had to dry it out. When I put it back on the charger, it went red. I have had no difficulty after that, except for it doesn’t keep its charge. Nonetheless, I am satisfied with GreatCall. Maybe it should be on the charger more often. Every now and then, I put it on the charger because it bleeps and the circle looks like a dull red and the circle itself is white, and that’s when I take it off and put it back on and it will bleep.

I have called Lively Mobile a while back and some of the local guys, the EMT's, came out. There was one time when I had a terrific pain in my shoulder and I've heard that that might go along with a heart attack so I called them then. But it was nothing. Nevertheless, the response was pleasant. I only live about three blocks from the fire station and the EMT's were all volunteers, so they had to get together first.
I have the device pinned inside of a pocket on my hips and I never even know it's there. But one time I pushed against it accidentally and I had to tell them that it was an accident. I'd like to get something to wear around my neck. But a lot of times I lean over it and if I have something around my neck it's gonna hang down. With this Lively Mobile device, I usually have a long top on so I can pull that down and no one ever knows I have anything. The device is a bit of a bulge in my pocket but not interesting enough to speak of, so I'm happy with that.
Also, I didn't realize for a long time that the Lively Mobile device is water proof. So when I took a shower I put it in a plastic bag and put it on the shelf in the shower with me. I left it out on the counter-top until one of my friends that has one also said that it's water proof. But I still put mine in a little plastic bag and I've always brought it in the shower with me in case I fall in there. With the Lively Mobile, I feel a lot more at ease and I feel like I can go out more and do things. I have passed the message on to a couple of friends that are widows and live alone. It's worth the money if you care about your life at all.

My location hasn't changed but the battery I guess is smaller in this newer unit. I bought a Lively Mobile in early June for my 83 year old Aunt who lives 2 hours away from me and it has been nothing but a headache!!! The battery on the first unit barely lasted 8 hours before it would die. I let them talk me into a new unit & another 30 days of "free" service (which they promptly billed me for). So, they shipped out a new unit a couple of weeks ago, but I was unable to make the 2 hour drive to my Aunt's house to charge it/activate it until a week after it was received. (I asked them to send it to my address, but they failed on that, too!) The first several days, the unit appeared to be working well & I was relieved. Then I tried to check things out on the "link" & found myself being frustrated & angry all over again. The app never showed ANY accurate information (for either unit)!!!
To add insult to injury, it quit letting me sign in. I uninstalled the app, restarted my phone, reinstalled & repeated the cycle more times than I can recall. Once again, I called in. I had to tell the story to each person & they all wanted me to go through the same cycle repeatedly - uninstall/restart/reinstall. Finally I was told that it would be sent to higher ups in the tech department & that I would receive a call within 1-3 days with a solution. Well guess what? Yep, no one called. So yesterday, I called them. I tried to save myself some time, but obviously the first person that answers the phone is told to not pass you on without going through the uninstall/restart/install routine. I kept being put on hold & eventually I was passed on to a person in the "tech" department. Again, I tried to save time, but nope, she was going by the script, too!
At this point, I declined to jump through the hoops. She asked if I could sign in on a computer. Once I said yes, you'd have thought the issue was solved. Not. I can't sign in to a computer every time I need to check on my Aunt. And even if I could, the information is incorrect or missing. For instance, the week in review was incorrect, as it said she had "no activity" for the week. I had been there 3 days & we went to Dr & hair appts, out to eat, etc). The tech stated, "Who really needs the week in review, if you're tracking her everyday?" Therein lies the problem... I CAN'T TRACK HER EVERYDAY! My brother called to tell me that her battery was "critical" & her last known location was a block away from her house (she hadn't left the house that day).
The tech told me that was basically "accurate enough," cos it was in the "general area!" I didn't buy this to be in the "general area!" What good would that do? When I complained about the battery going dead on the unit & that I believed it was because Verizon has terrible service. She said, "I'm glad you said that! You are so right! If the unit has to keep searching for a signal" it will run the battery down & if it has fall detection it will only last 8-10 hours. She said, "We don't advertise or tell people about the bad cell coverage & fall protection running the battery down cos a lot of people live in areas where there is GREAT cell coverage so they never encounter this problem & they wouldn't know what we were talking about!" (Let's be real, they don't tell people because they are out for the almighty dollar!!!)
She went on to say, "What we normally do in situations like that, is send out an extra charger so that the unit can charge, while she is relaxing, watching tv in the afternoon or something." So much for 24/7 coverage with fall protection! I guess while she's watching TV she can't fall or have a medical emergency. She also told me that they knew about the issues with the app & they were working on them. She said I could check back in 90 days to see if it has been resolved.Uh, in 90 days it will no longer be our problem! I'll be going with another company that uses AT&T! Seems AT&T works real well in her home!
Please understand, every one I've spoken with has been very kind... but I didn't buy into their service to visit on the phone with nice people. I NEED my Aunt protected at all times & I NEED to know her status throughout the day, EVERY DAY! I feel completely misled and taken advantage of. A little less than a month with GREATCALL & I am so very angry & disappointed. I'm not paying almost $50 a month for a unit that halfway works. (Let's see, she puts it on the charger around 9pm & it stays there until about 5am. Then the battery is critical at 3pm? Wow! We're paying a lot for 10ish hours of coverage each day!) In my opinion, the Lively Mobile & its app are wonderful concepts, but they fall way short of the mark. Maybe if Verizon has a great signal in YOUR home, then it will work for you. If not, like I said before, RUN!!!
Hi Kathy, we are sorry to hear of the initial problem with the Lively Mobile alert device and we appreciate your feedback. We are happy to see that you received a replacement, that it is working fine and that we have provided a full credit for the month of service. We have additionally extended your 30-day trial time to 60 days. GreatCall service is based on the coverage in your area and even in a good coverage area, things such as weather, building materials, topography and other environmental considerations associated with radio technology also affect service and service may vary significantly within buildings. Most devices stay charged up to 24hours, however, signal strength and some active services may cause the battery to drain faster. We do recommend that the Lively Mobile be charged daily, for at least 90 minutes and it can be charged overnight as you cannot over charge it. You can also boost the battery by charging it for 15-30 minutes, when time allows. The Link application service, available to Family members and caregivers, includes alerts when an emergency call is made to 5Star, the power level of the connected device, a list of daily activities, as noted in the Personal Profile and the current location of the user on a map through patented GPS technology. The issue that you have encountered, not being able to log into the app on your phone, is a compatibility issue that has been escalated to our technicians and they are working on a resolution. In the meantime, we do see that you are able to sign in on your computer to view the above-mentioned information and that your Brother is receiving the information through his application. You can rest assured that although the application is not working with your phone, the Lively Mobile device is working properly.

It doesn't matter if it is 3:00 AM or when I know for a fact that the device is on the charger, and has been for hours. It is somehow just computer generated, I suppose in order to make me, the monitoring family member, feel like the client is being closely watched. Because it is made up, it should be done away with. It is misleading.

I’m 97 years old. I took some garbage out one time and I fell so I decided to get a medical alert device from Lively Mobile. I have found the people who run it very sensitive. Sometimes at night I take it off and put it on the machine to recharge the battery and they interfere with me because I bang it sometimes and they think it was an alarm. So, they check immediately and find out. Right now, the strap around my neck broke and I’ve asked for a new one, which they said they would be sending me. I'm very happy with it. They do respond instantly and it does what it’s for.

Lively Mobile's reps have been efficient, courteous, and helpful. Aery, the representative that I spoke with this morning, helped me off thoroughly. She wanted to be thoroughly correct in what she was explaining to me. She took the time to not only explain everything but to also make inquiries within their office. They had the support of the other members of the office, especially the manager. We had an incident where my unit overheated during the charge cycle. When I held the unit in my hand, it was hot. When I stopped charging it, I didn't feel the heat from the unit. The first time it occurred was just this morning. I spoke to Aery and her supervisor and I explained what occurred. I'm concerned that it can cause a fire. I carry the Lively Mobile with me in various ways, and I have it because of my age.

It's nice to know that I have the button from Lively Mobile that I can push if a crisis occurred and I have a buddy there close by that would answer my call immediately and get me help. I put the medical alert device in my pocket and take it everywhere I go if I leave the house. And if I'm in the house, I leave it in a place where I know where it is. I’m 92 and my husband is five years more than that. We thought that if something were to happen to us, we would have the Lively Mobile that we can call for help. I wear it around my neck and although I tried it on my hand, it was in the way. Since getting it, I’m doing okay, but sometimes, I have problems with it sitting overnight and then it would say that it was not long. If I have to go out, I have to stay in longer.
About a week and a half ago, after getting our groceries, we couldn’t get the car started again. I pushed the little thing that I wear and Lively Mobile answered but it took a long time to finally get some help. It was a hot day and the dog was in the car with us and he was trembling. We tried to tell them that we were at the end of the store as well as the color and kind of our car. I was told when I had gotten the Lively Mobile that when I had gotten myself lost, they could tell me where I was. That didn’t happen. Fortunately, the fellow that had helped out with the groceries came with the phone number for AAA. I was really upset. Why do I have the Lively Mobile and why am I paying money on it and yet nobody will help me. I’m not happy with it.

It has been recharged and I have it on now. They told me to see how long it holds. I hope it holds before I go to bed.
In the middle of December, Lively Mobile thought I was having a heart attack. I sat down, pushed the button and GreatCall took over, and I had the emergency here in five or six minutes. I was alone and I was concerned about falling. Physically, I'm not real stable at my feet so I wanted to make sure that I had some coverage just in case. I like the fact that Lively Mobile has the fall detection and it had no contract. It also still has coverage if I go to a store and not just in my house. But one problem I have with it is the cord itself. I called about it a few weeks ago wondering if they had a leather one or something that wasn't gonna get nubby. I haven't had it that long. It's just that it is very irritating because it’s getting nubby and it's spring. The representative I spoke to said that there wasn't any other choices. And she wasn't gonna send me a new cord unless I pay for it. So right now, I got a shoestring on it.
Sometimes, I also keep the device in my purse because it's so bulky and ugly when I'm going out somewhere. But then, it's accidentally hit and it goes off, and they respond right away even if I haven't had any actual real emergency. If I get in a shirt, I could wear it underneath that, but sometimes I don't. I forgot I had it one day and I was at a place where there were a lot of people and somebody asked me, "What's with the jewelry" So then I had to go to the explanation.

When I called to activate the devices, Rep #1 told me Device #1 was for my mom and Device #2 was for my dad, so I registered each device to my parents emails accordingly. Rep #2 helped me finish activation, and she informed me Rep #1 gave me incorrect information and the devices were switched. I spent an hour on Sunday with Rep #2 then another hour with Rep #3 today to try to clear this issue up to assign the correct device to the correct email and it is still not resolved. After three hours on the phone with four different reps trying to clear an issue that was solely the fault of Rep #1, I give up. It is clear the customer service team is not equipped to resolve this simple issue. If three separate representatives on the customer service team can't resolve this simple issue, can I trust them to handle an emergency situation with efficiency and resolve? No.

So, I decided to get a Lively Mobile and now, whenever I leave the premises here, I wear my Lively Mobile. One time, I fell and my two daughters were with me. I was at a doctor's house when I fell and he applied pressure to an injury at my scalp which was bleeding heavily.
So then, we decided I should go to an emergency room which was 45 minutes away. My daughter drove me in my car and we arrived in the emergency room. As I was walking into the emergency room, my pendant started talking to me. But there was so much noise that I could hardly hear what they were saying. So, I just told them, "I’m going into the emergency room now." Since having Lively Mobile, I feel secure. I wear it around my neck. One problem I have though is because of the short cord on that device, I always have to make sure I don’t have the seatbelt covering the device. But I love my Lively Mobile medical alert device.

I’ve lived with it and it hasn’t gotten any worse but as I get older, I get weaker and sometimes I miss a step or I catch something on the ground or sidewalk that I can stumble over. Since I had the neck surgery, I had to go for rehab for three months in 2016. Then I had a reverse job on my left shoulder in 2017 which put me out of commission again since I’m left-handed, and so I went for rehab again for three months. I’m getting stronger everyday but sometimes, I can lose my balance and not be 100%. I needed a backup and so I got Lively Mobile.
My sister called and set the Lively Mobile up for me. I wear it around my neck all day. If I lay down during the day, I’ll take it off to put a charge on it and then I take it off again when I go to bed at night and put it on the charger until I get up in the morning. I got a Lively Mobile service after falling three times. I don’t like going down the steps and I feed feral cats. If I don’t turn the device on, I panic. I wear it around my neck with a cord, but I’m having trouble finding those kinds of cords to hook it to, so it would be nice to have the wrist kind. I hang the device in the shower when I take my shower in case if I fall and there were a few times when I left it in the shower and gone all day without it. I'd feel very uncomfortable when that happens. In addition, I’ve had problems with the device not charging, but they walked me through unplugging it. It also makes me upset that the green light in the corner of the device hasn't worked sometimes. I’ve pressed the button and they gave me the telephone number to talk to them about it.
Lastly, they advertised that the charge was going to be 19.99, but they charged me $24 a month. When I called about it, they said something about alerting other people, but the other people that they would have alerted don’t even have the phones that could be alerted. They had asked me who my next of things were my brother and a friend of mine that’s like a sister (note: please check audio on the previous sentence, there could be missing words). Since then, my brother has passed and Joan doesn’t even have the kind of phone that could be alerted, so they took some money off, but they’re still charging me $24 a month. Other than those issues, I’ve been happy with Lively Mobile. I had a friend that got a device from another company and it wasn’t working right, so she returned it. I had an open-heart triple bypass surgery, triple bypass. I was walking a lot then and I needed a medical alert device that wasn't attached to my phone so I could take the device with me. I looked into a lot of other devices and I'm limited to the distance with my phone. Lively Mobile allows me to take the device outside and take my walks up the road so I went with them.
The only bad part about the whole thing is plugging it in every night to charge the battery. It’s not in the bedroom with me because the plug-in is not handy in my bedroom. I plug it in in the bathroom because that’s where the plug-in is up and I don’t have that many plug-ins where I could put it that I could reach it. My cat loves to bat things around so, I have to put it where she can’t get it. In addition, I put the device on a necklace-type chain around my neck and it's heavy. I’ve seen some of the other LifeLine type ones, and they are much smaller and lighter. Other than that, it works really good and it simply flips over my head.

I can’t wear it where it would be convenient, and if I fall on the side of the thing and I can’t get my hand in my pocket, then I can’t push the button. But that’s not Lively's fault. It's been a year or so since I tested the device. The Lively Mobile team was quick to respond but they didn’t like me doing that because it wasn’t an emergency. My daughter said we were just trying it out because we just got it. I wear the device around my neck and I feel safer with it on. I wear it every day and charge it every night. One time I forgot to charge it up enough and it beeped me. The red light came on and said I needed to charge it. I have fallen several times. I feel like my balance wasn't good so I wanted a medical alert device. I read up on several providers and Lively Mobile was one of the more reasonable ones and I liked what they had to offer. I also liked that I didn't have to install anything in my bathroom or in my bedroom and that all I have to do is wear the thing around my neck. Also, my cousin had your product, so that convinced me and I went for it.
I've had a few occasions where I got a call because I either dropped it or accidentally pushed the button and I was very pleased by the response time. The cops came the first time because I had not setup my profile yet, so they didn't know who to contact but I was okay. And I feel safer with it. I don't go out too far, but I have it if something happens. Also, f there were someone trying to rob me, I could push the button and they would call the police. A year ago, November 16, I fell and broke my hip. There were friends right here and they got me in the car and took me off to emergency. The next day, the doctors did surgery and I had to go into rehabilitation. My two sons and my two daughters-in-law told me, “You have got to get one of these alert button things.” They said that I fall too much. I fall very easily and I’ve broken a lot of bones. So, my daughter-in-law and I went to Wal-Mart over a year and a half ago to get me a telephone. I’m 84 years old and I’m still so old-fashioned. She insisted I needed a cellphone. So, we went in and I told her, “You get the information on it because it’s Greek to me.”
There was a young man working at Wal-Mart and I asked him if they had a medical alert kind of apparatus that they sell. He told me they had one and if I wanted to go further with it, he’d be more than happy to help me. My kids went ahead and got me Lively Mobile and I put the device around my neck and we had to go through talking with people and they took care of the information they had to give out.
Then, on February 2nd, I went out to my shed and I stepped up about six inches. I didn’t get up high enough and I fell. My left hand got hit in my two-by-four shed and sprained it so bad. But it went back and shattered my elbow. It was horrible. I was able to sit down again on a little step there, and I pushed the Lively Mobile button. Immediately some gentleman came on and asked if he could help me, wanted my name and where I was located which was at home. Then he said, “Now, you hold on just a minute. I’m gonna get the fire department and the ambulance going”.
We’re about three blocks away from the fire department so I could hear the fire department ringing before he even came back to me. That was how fast it was. And immediately, along came the ambulance. I didn’t know what I would have done. I would have had to sit a long time and wait for someone to go by so I could scream to them if I didn’t have the button. Lively Mobile worked out wonderfully for me. The young man told me he was gonna stay on with me until either the ambulance or the fire department came and he did. I appreciated it.
