    I'm 90 years old and I live alone. So far, I'm not happy with my LifeStation bracelet. What I have right on is just black, and it's so filthy. Nothing will clean it no matter what I try. Though they sent me a new one, I can't put it on. The white thing is awful, it doesn't fit on my skinny little wrist. And I wanted the black stretchy anyway. The team who helped me replace the bracelet were fine. The representative told me I could not have a black one though unless I upgraded. Other than that, I thought I was supposed to be able to take a shower with this bracelet. Six months ago, someone from LifeStation called and told me that my alarm was going off. At that time, I was taking a shower with it. So she just answered it and I said I was fine.

    I’m 94 and I live by myself so having it gives me some peace of mind. The LifeStation is great and I’m glad I got it. If I had to use it, it would be very convenient. When I go outside I always have it on me. I have a son who usually takes care of me but I have it just in case something happens late at night. I lost it a couple of weeks ago and I didn’t know I lost it till they called and told me. I must have had it in the trash and when I emptied the trash, the button went off. They called me and I told them that I was okay, so they sent me a new one.

    I feel comfortable living in a big house by myself and I have a LifeStation as a safety measure. I don't mind the device on my wrist. When the battery was out, my daughter had to find out what to do about it and the reps were very helpful.     I put my LifeStation device on my wheelchair and it would be nice if I could wear it on my wrist most of the time. One time, I pressed the button because I fell and my husband came. And another time, the medical emergency team came and picked me up. Their response was good. LifeStation is good to have around in case you need help.

    My experience with LifeStation has not been all that great. On at least three separate occasions, my beeper went off and they told me I had done it somehow when I couldn’t have set it off. I could have done accidentally, but I didn’t do all of them. I contended that my button was defective and they fought me over that. They were going to charge me money for it and I said I would not pay it because it wasn’t my fault. After a month of haggling back and forth, they decided to just send me a new one that was working. It was a very, very upsetting time for me. All that time, I was working with what I was sure was not a well working unit, and I hated having to fight with somebody over the whole issue. My impression was that they feel that they didn’t have time to deal with me and they were too busy.

    Six weeks ago my doorbell rang and it was the police, and they said that they had received a call that there was a problem at my residence but there wasn’t any. I did not hear my machine go off and I had been in the telephone. None of my children who are on the list of people to call if I cannot be reached were called. I was not pleased with the customer service that I received, the quality of their equipment, and its coverage because all it covers is in my house. I’m seriously thinking of changing.

    I live by myself, and my daughters told me to get a medical alert device. The one I got from LifeStation worked when I tried to test it out. Also, the people from LifeStation would always check the device and would thank me for telling them that it works. The only thing is, I’m never home and the device is only good for 1,500 feet around my house. My daughters kept telling me I needed to get the GPS type. Nevertheless, I'd recommend LifeStation.

    My mother has gotten older and she fell once. Even though she has a person with her most of the time, we were afraid that it will happen when she’s alone so we got a LifeStation. When I tested, they respond respond right away and have been helpful. But I've only tested it from the machine itself, not from her bracelet. I recommend LifeStation mostly for really older folks that don’t have an alarm and don’t have any other kind of technology and also to those who are alone.

    My kids insisted that I have the LifeStation because I’m alone, and they both live nearby and when I would press an emergency button, it would call one of them. I used another medical alert service before and switched to LifeStation as the other one was too expensive. The only thing is I’m up at weird hours in the morning, and I would be on the computer playing games or looking at stuff, and all of a sudden, my LifeStation would ring and it made noises. It used to annoy me but it doesn’t seem to happen much anymore.

    My children bought the LifeStation for me because I kept falling. I've used it four times and the response time was just fine. It's very simple to use and they come on when I push the button.     Seven years ago, I fell in the house at about 1:30 am and broke my left ankle and my right big toe. I couldn't move because I fell forward and it hurt too much. My cell phone was in the dining room in my purse and my phone was on the nightstand which I was too far away from. I was in the middle of the floor and I had phones all over the house but not one I could reach, and that's when I realized why people have life alert device. I decided too then that I needed a bracelet since I couldn't wear something around my neck because I have arthritis in the spine and that would bother me.

    Then, the lady from the church got the first device for me and it really bothered me but I kept it for a while. Then LifeStation sent an advertisement for a plan in the mail and it was cheaper and was supposed to work anywhere I am like the grocery store or the parking lot. The other device didn’t, so I took it. However, I was disappointed when I found out that it wouldn’t work except around the home. I misunderstood the rep apparently and had the same coverage. On the other hands, I recommended LifeStation to a friend and she called and found out that the price went up. I’m a widow, 85 years old and had a fixed income, so I couldn’t pay it. But LifeStation called back and said that I’ve been a good customer so they were going to let me have it for $25 a month.

    LifeStation is good for me to have. If I’m trying to walk with the walker, sometimes my legs give out on me and if nobody's around, I’m just down on the floor. So I have someone to be here 24 hours. I live with my son and daughter-in-law but they're upstairs and I'd be downstairs at nighttime. I wear the LifeStation around my neck and I've used it a couple of times. Their reps were good to me and I’d recommend it to all my friends. But I like it better when I'm closer to people and they're there with me because if I fall, I panic real quick and I don’t know how to react. I don’t think to push the button and I don’t know if the battery ran out of it. But it's plugged in and it keeps jumping on.

    The LifeStation reps are very friendly and nice. Even sometimes when I accidentally push the button, they would call me to make sure I was okay, so they’ve been very responsive. Plus they respond almost immediately. It’s amazing how fast, so I’m very happy about that. I haven’t been using it lately since my daughter is here as a caregiver, but the service has been great. She’s here 24/7, so unless she goes to the store, I got my necklace on. It’s a good thing to have for my protection. Sometimes it gets mixed up with my necklaces, but it’s still comfortable.     I'm more relieved that when my dad falls or if he needs something when I’m not here, he can push the LifeStation button. But they need to have their customer service people answer the phones in the appropriate timeframe and not 20 more calls before it gets picked up when it’s supposed to be picked up in a certain amount of time. Also, the people who answer the line are slow, disrespectful and they don't always have the correct answers. In the beginning, we didn't have good interactions with them and they didn’t know what they were talking about. When I talked to a manager, I got a completely different story. It is better now though.

    I live alone with my two blended German Shepherd and my source coordinator said I needed a medical alert device because I got a bad right knee and a bad ankle so I got a LifeStation. Their team was excellent. I like that they were there before they got me back to do my surgery. However, they were supposed to send me a return label for the device but they never did come out. The service company said they won't pay for it anymore. I haven't used it for two years and it's been boxed up. I got a lot of friends come over and there were two 3-year old kids, and they go in there and push the red button all the time. Nonetheless, I'll recommend Lifestation to a friend anytime and I'd tell them, "If you ever fall, or that button gets pushed, I guarantee, you will have paramedics and cops over here" because I've experienced it about three, four times.

    I’m 77 and I live alone in a house. Whenever I would call, LifeStation reps would answer me and then I’d tell them what’s wrong. And in turn, they will call my sponsor across, my neighbor Mona, and she would come over and let them in. But I had an emergency the other night, and the people that have my key weren’t in. It was 4 or 5 o’clock in the morning and my neighbors go to work at 5 o’clock. When my neighbor came home, she said, “Where is the box? You needed the box on the outside to put the code in. It would be me and the police or paramedics or whoever comes.” I was going to call LifeStation up and find out why I don’t have that.

    We called up LifeStation and they sent everything in the mail. What we had to do at the time is to plug it into the electrical and plug it into the phone. So, we never had a problem with it. The only problem I have is getting my 95-year-old mother to use it. My dad passed away so, it's just her. Since she's had her LifeStation, we have peace of mind now without a doubt. Every day I go up there and remind her, ”Ma, if you fall, just press the button. They’ll call me within 5 or 10 minutes. I’m not far." Fortunately, she hasn't had a bad fall and my sister's around when she gives her shower. But, sometimes she gets up in the middle of the night and does it herself. The device works excellently. In fact, I tested it about three weeks ago and it was working fine. The only problem I had is none of the wristbands that they sent me was fitting my mother. It was very loose. But they sent me one that worked so everything is fine.

    My husband was falling a lot because of his Parkinson’s. When I first got the device, he was alone. Now, he cannot be left alone. People at Lifestation were very knowledgeable and kind. We had to get a new device set up because the battery in the old one was dying, and they were very pleasant. They sent us a new unit. When we hooked it up, we called them up, and they walked us through everything. They were just very helpful. They call every time the buttons go off accidentally. They came immediately when we needed them and I'm very comfortable with the fact that he has it, and if I needed a medical alert during the middle of the night there is a sense of calmness that I know that I could press the button, and somebody will come. They're a very good company, and I'm very happy with them.

    I’m 84 years old and I’m living alone and I have medical problems, and I feel more secure having LifeStation. I’ve talked with the LifeStation team twice when I tested my device and they’re very pleasant. I carry the device around my neck and I've just used the emergency button to test it. But I had a hip replacement three years ago and I was in rehab. And my son was here, but he wasn’t in the room, and his kitty jumped up on the emergency button and he didn’t hear it. So, the next thing he knew was the ambulance and police were outside.

    I live in Miami, Florida and my daughter lives in South Carolina. It's too far away and she couldn't help me, so she wanted to make sure somebody would be here to help me. She ordered the LifeStation device to make sure that I had proper care. I have only used it one time, mashed the button and it worked. The LifeStation team talked to us, got the address and they sent somebody. The rescue came pretty quick.     My mom’s sister got some kind of alert system and she kept telling my mom about it. After my dad died, she thought she needed something like that. My mom has the LifeStation Medical Alert System for about five years now. She checks in with them every now and then and she seems pleased with it. One time, she had to use it as she was dizzy. LifeStation then called me but I did not get the call right away, so I called them right back and they told me what was going on. Then, I got over there and everything was fine. The LifeStation team does a good job and I'm satisfied. They're everything my mom needs.

    My son and his wife knew a lady that fell. She had a stroke and when they found her the next day, she was in a really bad condition. So they said I better get something and that’s what I did. I have the LifeStation and my experience with it has been okay. But it takes three or four minutes before anybody will answer. If I had a real emergency where I was laying on the floor and couldn't move, then I call them and nobody answers, I'm sure I'm going to start to panic. That's a long time to be on the floor and it's hard. Also, every so often, my phone will go dead and the LifeStation will light up green. When I called them about it, their rep said that they were testing the lines. They do that about once a month and I don’t like that very much.

    But the other day, I was out across the street to my neighbors and we were chatting out there visiting. I had the thing in my pocket and even down there, I must have hit it because they called. My son was in San Diego and they called him saying they couldn’t get hold me. They asked if I was okay so, he called home. I had come home at time and I told him I was okay. He said I better call LifeStation because they’re going to send an ambulance. So, I caught them in time.

    When I first got the LifeStation, I recommended it to a friend and she got one, too. I also thought it was cheaper when I bought it but now, it’s more expensive than the others. I have the one that works around the house and I'm interested in a gadget that I could take along with me to the mall. I work in my garden which is over 100 feet from my house, and you never know what might happen when you’re out in your garden.

    I have a cane and I go very slow. So my son thought I needed the LifeStation and got one for me. It’s nice to have and it’s been working okay. Usually, I call in to let them know that I just wanted to be sure it’s working and that I’m okay. So far, I’m satisfied with my experience with them and I’m happy with the device.     I've had more than one fall before. I still fall these days, but having the LifeStation gives me comfort to know that I can get help if I need it. I have it for a little over three years now and everybody I've dealt with has been great. They're also very pleasant and so far, I've needed their help two times. The persons who initially came on the device asked if I was okay and were concerned. The first time they called a friend who was able to come over and get me up, then the second time, they called the EMT to help me. I’d recommend them to others but I'd tell them to do the research and read the contract carefully.

    I’m not thoroughly pleased with LifeStation. Their equipment isn't sensible and their service isn't pretty. I put something on my door that is absolutely worthless. Also, if there is a problem, the police department is supposed to be involved and I pay extra for that without knowing it. If I don’t pay extra, they don’t come and nobody will help me. One time there was an attempt to come in here and the police were called, but it was a mix-up and it shouldn’t have happened. LifeStation is a little disappointing and I don't feel much better having it.

    I was falling a lot and I live by myself. I tried to carry my phone with me and I realized there's no way I can carry that phone with me all the time so I started looking and saw LifeStation. I never take my device off. I placed it on a regular stainless steel chain because the cord was just too flimsy. And I've had it on a chain now since right after I got it. I wear it in the shower and to bed. My neighbor has one and she takes hers off and I feel that’s defeating the purpose to take it off. I'm very satisfied. LifeStation is wonderful. I haven't had to use it very much but when I did use it, it was Johnny-on-the-spot. They would answer and be courteous on what was wrong. It’s a whole lot cheaper than falling.     I had a pulmonary embolism and nearly died from it. I’ve also got a super bad back problem, a heart problem and I’m on oxygen. So my health is pretty deteriorated and I don’t go outside or anywhere without my LifeStation. I consider myself lucky because I haven’t had the chance or need to use it. But I have tested it and they came right on every time. I’m able to walk more now and I can work out for a little bit. I like the idea that with my LifeStation, I can get out and have a somewhat normal life with my health as bad as it is.     We can’t get to our dad as quick as we would want to if there’s an emergency. So we decided, the best thing to do is to get a LifeStation for him. In the beginning, he wasn’t wearing it, which defeats the purpose of it. But now, he utilizes it and knows it’s important, so he appreciates it. And I think he feels secure. But we might switch because he want something that would still work even when he’s out shopping or doing something else. But when he used the button, they responded quickly, which was great. And the couple of times I’ve contacted LifeStation, I have not had any issues. They have been very responsive. My experience has been happy. The limitation of proximity, that would be the only negative. And I don’t know if it’s something they have any control over at this point. But overall, what we purchased was satisfactory.

    I have bad knees and back, and I can't be without LifeStation. I've had it for a couple of years now and I am content with it. I call them every time I fall and they call my daughter and the paramedics. Then the paramedics come and help pick me up. I have never had to be hospitalized because of it.     I’m old and my knees were bad. I have a lot of dogs that I foster and sometimes they get rambunctious and cause me to have a misstep. I was afraid that I would have a problem and would need to have help, and that was how I figured I’d have LifeStation. Plus one of my best friends said I had to get one, so I did. Recently this past week, I discovered that after surgery, I have a blood clot in my leg. I was told if I have symptoms of it moving, I should immediately call 911 which I would do but I would also use LifeStation. I don’t test it as often as I should, but everybody's been really good.

    When my dog jumps in my lap, sometimes she sets it off so I know now to take and pull it up and sling it over my shoulder so she does not activate it. Once, somehow it got activated and LifeStation already started sending somebody out here, and I called them in time and they didn’t come, thankfully. And a couple of times, I’ve had the battery go bad and they sent me another one immediately, so that worked out all right.

    I was having a heart issue at one time, and my daughter said that maybe I need to get a medical alert button. So, she got on the phone and set it up for me. I’ve had a good experience with it. I call in once a month to check and make sure that it’s still working. They’ve also called and ask me if I was okay, though I don’t know how the button got pushed. I’ve had people come tom my place asking me if I’m okay. They’ve also called my daughter. Another time, I was running my vacuum cleaner at 11 pm, when my daughter called me asking if I was okay. A police officer also came to make sure I was okay. There was also one time when it was a fireman that came to the door. They’ve been very nice when I obviously did something to set it off, or when I called to check to make sure that it’s working. I’m happy knowing that it works, and I feel good having it knowing that if somebody breaks in, I’ll just push my button and hope that scares them away.

    I live alone, and I’ve had a stroke, so I have a lot of vertigo and my balance gets bad. I also worry about people breaking in because we just had a burglar around the corner not too long ago.     My wife has trouble getting down and prior to that when she could walk around there was nobody there but her and I had to be at work so getting a medical alert device was as secure as she can be, that she didn’t have to try to dial a number and to just press the button. They would call me first if she didn’t answer and then I would make the decision to go ahead and call 911.

    But at the rate the ambulance charges like one time they came out it was $1,200 dollars, you don’t want them to roll unless you’re sure that there’s something they have to roll for because they're going to bill you regardless if it’s an actual call or a non-emergency. And I got the door lock that goes with it and they have got the code to give to 911 when they arrive. That’s just if I can’t get to the key.

    Whenever I’ve done a test with the LifeStation device they come on and then they reset it and I have no issues. They call me direct on this phone and then I make the decision whether we should call an ambulance or 911, unless there’s no response. Right now I have somebody staying with my wife but the device is still there because it’s easier than trying to look up a phone number for 911. And they also contact 911 real quick. It’s kind of a safe and it's a good protection for like $25 something a month. I would recommend LifeStation because I’ve had no bad experience.

    My kids insisted that I need a medical alert device because I’m 83 years old so I agreed to what they wanted and ordered a LifeStation. I wear my device around my neck but I’m mostly on the road. And I’ve been looking for one that I can use where I’m on the road. I have one child that’s in Maryland and one that’s in the lower part of Indiana so I’m gone a lot. It’s more convenient and I would feel safer if I have one that’s on the road.

    And it normally takes them quite a while to answer sometimes. I think that it should be someone that’s right there when I call but it’s not that way. I have to wait sometimes and that’s what I find wrong with it. Maybe to them it’s not a long wait time but to me it’s a long wait time. If I call during an emergency and they would take two or three minutes to answer me then I don’t think that’s a good system. But their reps seem to be cordial and polite. I tried to call monthly but sometimes I’m not here to call. So I think that they should call me and that's the difference. I’m dissatisfied.

    I have Parkinson's and so, I have trouble with balance. I fell, fractured my hip and my shoulder, and my children wanted me to get a medical alert service. I wear the device around my neck all the time and sleep with it at night. I only take it off when I'm going somewhere. I also have the wristband.     I'm more secure when I'm along in the house having my LifeStation on and I feel that in case of emergency, all I do is press the button. I use it as a bracelet and it's easy to use. When I pressed the button for testing or it went off in error, I'd hear the device say "Medical alert, medical alert, medical alert, medical alert." After a few minutes, somebody would ask if I was okay and I tell them that it went off by mistake or I was testing it. Their reps were very friendly but they don't act fast to answer it and by the time the machine is finished saying medical alert, I'll have a heart attack.

    I was having a lot of falls. I got somebody during the day for two hours then my family comes in when they can. But there's still a period when I'm alone. I can take care of myself pretty good but I have peripheral neuropathy and it affects my legs and feet. So I got a LifeStation. When I got it a couple of years ago, it didn't work out here because I stayed in a subdivision outside the city of Memphis. So it just stayed in the box for about a year.

    Then finally, somebody called and asked me why I was not using it. I told them it didn't work so they said they were going to send some kind of a receiver or booster that would make it work. But I never received that. Another year went by and they sent another box with another LifeStation so I didn't open it and sent it back to them. I also sent them back the first box they gave me. So I returned two boxes to them but I never received that amp or the receiver to make the device work out in this area. So I didn't use it and I told my nurse to make sure that I'm not getting charged for it. I connected the first one but it never worked so I unconnected it and put it back in the box.

    So when they send the boxes out, they should look at the areas that they're sending them to to make sure that they work. And if it's a rural area or a subdivision out there outside the city limits, they should go ahead and send a booster with it. They can always send the booster back if they don't need it. They need to stop putting the device into boxes, too. Also, when I called them about my issue, their reps were nice but they were insistent that I had another box. They should have put a tracker on the unit then go to the post office and see where it's at.

    I’m a diabetic and when I lived in Washington, D.C., I went into a diabetic coma and it kind of shook me up. I have the LifeStation and it works good in the house. I tested it one time and got an answer right away. So it does what it's intended for. But if I go outside and be 50 feet away from the residence, it won't work. I’d like to get the device that will work regardless of where I'm at and if I need it, I can press the button and they’ll know where I am.

    I'm 86 years old and I had been by myself for four years before my daughter moved in. So my family is happy that I've got LifeStation.     My kids bought the LifeStation for me because I fell outside in the winter time on black ice. I couldn’t get up because I have two artificial knees and it took me about 35 minutes to scoot on my butt into my house, plus I had to go through a puddle of water. And the next thing I knew, this came in the mail. I only checked it about three times in the three years that I’ve had it. I pushed the button and said that I wanted to see if it was working and they responded that it was. My grandson hooks it up for me when I get a new one and I thought I was getting one every year. First I had the watch and after the first anniversary, I got a new necklace. Then I got a necklace again. But I haven’t gotten another this year and I know my kids are going to pay for it now.

    As long as they pay for it, I’ll wear it all the time and I hope it works if I ever need it. The only thing is it doesn’t go far enough like the one that's shown on TV where they get you in the middle of nowhere. With my LifeStation, I have to be within 250 feet from my unit and that doesn’t do much good. I wish I would’ve had that one where it goes out farther, where I can be out of my house or be on vacation.

    I heard about LifeStation from a friend, and decided to get one to make my kids, as well as myself, feel better. I’ve been with them for seven years, and I’m very happy with them. Their price is right, and I don’t have to sign up with any contracts. Plus, everybody that I talked to has been pleasant. Every once in a while, they call me and ask if I’m okay and I reply. And then sometimes, I call them on my own to let them know that it’s still working and that I’m fine.

    One time, I must have pressed the button on my necklace while I was taking a shower. They called me and I didn’t answer, so they called my daughter and told her that they couldn’t get a hold of me. By that time, I got out of the shower and I was drying myself off when I heard my daughter and her husband knocking on my kitchen window by my driveway. They just drove in and so I went to the door and my daughter was in tears because she thought something happened to me. I told her that I was okay, and they said that they tried to call me. Ever since then, I have a phone in my bathroom because I don’t want to scare anybody like that. LifeStation has allowed me to be more independent, less worried, and I love it. I’m gonna be 91 and I feel healthy, but I feel comfortable having it.

    My daughter was living with me so I had someone here at the house if anything happened. But once she moved out she insisted since I was living alone that I get something so I got the medical alert. I’m on a lot of medication, I’m on blood thinners, I’m clumsy and I have a habit of falling. I’ve broken ribs in the past and I’ve cut myself bad. I’ve had LifeStation for couple years now and I haven’t really had to use it, I feel safer knowing that I have it.

    One night while I was in the garage working, I must’ve hit the button and I couldn’t hear the LifeStation monitor thing go off. The next thing I knew, people from the fire department and an ambulance were here. They were quick and I was grateful that nothing had happened but I felt bad that they came out and it wasn’t an emergency. I wasted their time. I wish the wristband was different too. I like that I have the lock box on my door because the handle to my front door doesn’t work. So if you shut that front door, you have to have a key to get back in and I’ve made a mistake a couple times. When I brought my dog out and I had it jump off, I was locked out of the back and I had to climb over the fence to go to the front yard to use the little lock box with my key to get back in. I’ve used that quite a bit ‘cause I’ve gotten locked out.

    Also, even though it’s a comfortable device, I don’t like the display and the pins pop out real easily. If I’m making my coffee in the morning and I hit the front cabinet, it’ll pop off. I like the black device better too because the white one becomes dingy dirty after wearing it for a while. Maybe if I can put it in bleach and the part that goes around and see if I could get it to be white because they changed it when I had to go wireless. Other than those, it’s been a good experience. I can call LifeStation for support and I can call them and check and make sure the device is working the way it’s supposed to be working.

    Once in a while my granddaughter would accidentally push it. And they don't call right away. The last time, they didn't have this number as the primary number. They were supposed to switch it.     Kaiser suggested LifeStation's medical alert program. My husband's 82 and he has three major health problems. They’re very serious and he could die from them. In September, we had gone to the emergency three times. And he was admitted to the hospital the latest time. We did not need the medical alert because we’re five minutes away from the hospital and I drove him. We haven’t had to call LifeStation that often but whenever we've had, the team has always been helpful and they solved the problem.

    I tell my husband that he needs to test the button every month. He said he would do it later but he didn’t. And the battery ran out because he waited too long, and LifeStation sent him a new button that he wears around his neck. When the battery died, there was something beeping on the machine so I called, and they said they’d send someone out. But it took more days than I thought it would for him to get here. And in the meantime, we didn’t have anything to use. We also had the key thing that hangs on the outside of the door but my husband gets worried about stuff. And he says it looks too much like a real estate entry key and people might break into the house, so he didn’t want it on the door. We only had it on there for two months but now, it’s up in the box that it came in.

    I'm a widow now and my family decided that I should have something because I'm by myself a lot. I bumped into it a couple of times and I got people out here. They're right on top of everything.     I hurt my back and I have a walker, and since I'm 81, I said the smart thing is to have a LifeStation medical alert. I've had it for four years and I'm very happy with it. I haven't needed it though. I just test them every month and their reps always answer. I feel safe in general because I got the button to push. However, my bracelet is worn out so I've had safety pins on it. Nonetheless, I know that I'm going to get one in soon. I'm going to call them anyway because I think it was about two years last time and things started buzzing which means I had to have the device reset. I called them then and they sent me a new bracelet and reset my thing. It was an excellent experience and I have recommended them to friends.

    My LifeStation device gives me a sense of security. I have it around my neck and I use it mainly when I’m in the shower. Sometimes I forget to put it on, but I know where it is always, and I can get it. It went off one time when I was in the shower, and we learned that the battery was low. LifeStation immediately contacted me and sent me a new one, and everything was worked out beautifully.     I was having trouble with my legs. They would give away on me, and then I would fall. One day it was terrible. I fell three times in one day and my son says “This is it!” and I said “This is it? What do you mean? I’m not going to the hospital.” And he says “Well, you fell”, and I said “Yes, I know.” But I did give in. My son got me a LifeStation device. He said it's something that will help me if I fall or if I need something. All I have to do is pick up the phone and just call and they will help me. It was March 4 and I was fixing my plugs for LifeStation and I accidentally pulled it out and they called and said “Okay, Audrey. What do you need?” I said “Not a thing in the world. I got crazy and pulled out the wrong plug,” and I heard them laugh.

    When I do make a mistake it takes them a little longer to answer me but that’s okay, because it’s not an emergency or anything, it’s my dumbness. I like what I have and I’ll go clear as far as I can go with it. Every time if I called them, I’d say “I’m sorry, I hit the wrong button or I pulled out the wrong thing”. They would say “Audrey, that’s all right; that’s why we’re here to help you.”

    My husband passed away, and my children didn’t want me to be alone, so they wanted me to have a medical alert device. We got the LifeStation, and it’s been very, very, very good, so far. Thank the Lord that I have been healthy and haven’t had the need to call for help, but it’s nice to know that I can use it if I need it. I take the device with me during my walks, and it also makes me feel secure being in the apartment. I have a grab bar near the outside of the shower, and I hang my LifeStation there in case I should fall in the shower.

    The people from LifeStation have been very friendly when I called in to check. I’ve also had a couple of instances where I made the alarm go off because I had my necklace on and I got near to face the bathroom sink, and it punched the button. I felt bad that it happened, but everybody responded, and everything worked out. There was also another time when the thing went off while I was playing dominoes, and the police came. Usually, the police come first, then the EMTs or paramedics, and if you need an ambulance, they would also call for that.

    With LifeStation, my children have less worries, but they still have some concerns. My children both work, and I’ve tried to call LifeStation and leave a message for my son. It wasn’t an emergency message, and they said that they didn’t deliver messages. My family is really concerned, but they know that they’ll get a call if anything happens.

    I previously had Life Alert and though their services were fine, their billing was pretty bad. Over a three-year period, they got me for $720, and that bothered me so I switched. I have never had to use LifeStation in an emergency, but I do check-in periodically and make sure it works. They answer promptly, and they also thank me for holding. They’re professional but they also are friendly. I get along with LifeStation just fine. I have a chronic medical problem, and I’m glad that LifeStation is there if I need them. I sleep better at night because of that. I’m very satisfied with it, and I was also quite pleased when they sent me a gift card because one of my neighbors got LifeStation. She wanted to get Life Alert, and I told her no because the monitoring service is cheaper with Life Station.

    My husband was in a facility at the time that I got my LifeStation. I was living alone and I have my medical problems. I was on the computer researching which were the best ones and it was recommended by Consumers Digest.     I lose my balance and I fall down. So, my wife thought I should have a LifeStation, and I have had a chance to use it. I've set it off a couple of times and had a good response with it, which took maybe three or four minutes that time. I told them it was a mistake as I was changing something out there and I set it off. She said, “Oh, that's all right. We know it works now". I fell off the floor one time and laid out there a bit. My falling down is getting worse. The other day, I was seeking therapy and my wife let me out of the car and I walked a little bit. My knees just collapsed on me but I didn’t use the LifeStation then because my wife was there and I was also there taking therapy. We haven't used it that much but I find having my LifeStation re-assuring. Somebody who lives alone, or anyone, like in my case, should have one. I get out the yard and work around and my wife couldn't hear if I fell. LifeStation is working fine and I'm really satisfied with it.

    I have both hips redone on 2002 and 2003 and I had surgery on my arm because I broke my elbow when I fell the last time. My doctor in Tulsa signed me up for help to balance. I also have a LifeStation Medical Alert device but I don't use it at all. I used to charge it on time but I found out it didn't help me past the house. I drove and went to town and I did things. I was outside a lot. I work in the yard and I had it on but it was out of range. It was all right within the house but it just didn't take care of me so I just took it off. I'm not happy with it.

    My mom was very unstable on her feet. She had had numerous strokes before and very poor vision, so if my brother was out of the house, we wanted something where she could contact somebody if she needed, and it worked very well for her. We live in a very rural area, and LifeStation was one of the systems that worked very well. Some of them wouldn’t work so that was the one positive thing that made us choose that. We tested the LifeStation service as what is recommended, and we got a pretty quick response--usually within one or two minutes, and they are very helpful. My mother actually had to use it one time, which, it was worth the price of it right then. It was very reassuring to know that she was never completely alone in the house. I would recommend it to someone.

    The person I tend to got very sick and passed out due to an asthma attack. So, she decided to get a medical alert device from LifeStation, and she feels more at ease now that she has it. She lives by herself, and if she were to have an emergency, she knows that they are going to respond right away. In fact, I’ve accidentally pressed on it, and LifeStation answered right away. So, she is very satisfied with it. LifeStation also sent in a new box, and we had to send them back the old one. I wasn’t sure on how to install it, so I called them and they guided me through it.     My sister has a medical alert device and I started to have a little of a health problem and I had been in and out of the hospital. So, my children decided to get the LifeStation for me because I'm by myself. I was on my porch this summer and my band must have turned. And when I put my hand on the banister, it must have rung for help. It goes first to my sister who lives next door but she wasn’t home, and all at once, the ambulance was right here. They came down in no time. I asked what was going on and told them I didn’t push my device by mistake and didn’t know the band turned. They said they wanted to come and see me anyway. Now, I know the LifeStation is a great thing to have. It's handy. I'm 83 years old and for a while, I had to have somebody in here with me, but now I can do a little bit on my own.     We've complained a couple of times about LifeStation because when we do the monthly test, it takes two minutes for them to call back. I brought this to their attention and they said I needed to call their customer service number and ask them why. Because if I just call 911 on my cell, it would be LifeStation by double. Although, they said that's just how long it takes. But if my wife is choking, it takes 45 seconds and that's a long time. When she hits it, it will go emergency three times and then it stops. Then it's supposed to connect. That takes about 45 seconds and it's ridiculous. The device is not responsive enough and that in turn, causes me to be concerned when I leave my wife all alone in my home. I need to ask them also if I can get a machine with a bigger button. Because my wife has severe tremoring spasticity. When she uses her hands, it shakes uncontrollably. And sometimes she cannot hit that button.

    I got a medical alert device so that if something happens during the night, I can press the button. I used to have one that I can use as a watch, which I put on first, then I got the machine upstairs to talk to. Now, I’ve had the LifeStation for a couple of years now, and it’s so big and hard to carry. I saw on TV that you can put a chain around the neck, or sometimes, put it in a clip then clip it on a T-shirt with a pocket, and it’s easy to carry. But with the one that I have, if I put it on a shirt outside the pocket, it falls off because it’s too big. The clipping of it doesn’t carry the weight. So, if I’d be able to change up, I’d appreciate it. Other than that, I have no complaints. I’ve accidentally pressed it once while changing the battery, and they knew what to do. Somebody called me, and I told them that everything was fine.

    I live alone and I definitely feel more secure with LifeStation. I wear my device on my wrist and I never take it off. My dad had had one for a very brief time around his neck, and he was constantly been setting it off in the night. So, when I got mine, I wanted to go with a bracelet. And I’ve been very pleased with it. The LifeStation team responds instantly whenever I set my device off. I was taking some papers and magazines out to the alley, and they slipped and in grabbing them, I hit the button and set it off. I was trying to catch the stuff before it all fell on the ground.     At the time that I needed a medical alert service, LifeStation was available and they have a competitive price. I enjoy the device and I depend on it. I call in monthly, their team answers and they're professional. However, for years, there has been a mix-up because I have an unusual address. I live on Santa Carla and a lot of people, when they go to repeat this information, they say Santa Clara. Santa Clara is in Tucson so it’s 20 miles from me and that would be a big delay if they don’t call someone here in the city that I'm at. I could get an EMT to my house very easily. But if they send it to Tucson, that would not be good. Every time I call them, I ask them about it and they say they have the information that they should call Green Valley as opposed to transferring the call to Tucson. Nonetheless, I’m happy with them.

    My kids insisted that I get a medical alert device in case I’d fall, and I’ve been with LifeStation since. I’ve had it when I lived in my townhouse for some time. It went off one time while I was doing something out on my patio, and I accidentally hit the button. Bit, I was able to answer and tell them that it was an accident. I have since moved into a senior apartment, and I tested the device to make sure it works, which it did, but it was so loud. So, I haven’t used it in my apartment because I’m afraid that it’ll scare somebody. I wish there was some way I could turn it down a little bit. Nonetheless, it was good to know that it was working, and I’ve been satisfied with it.

    I got LifeStation for my mom. Their rep told me an old price and they let me have it for that price which was great. My mom fell and broke her hip and it never healed up right so I decide to get her one because I felt like she might fall and I won’t know because she lived by herself. LifeStation's real good because I feel like if she’s in a problem, she can just message and they’ll come.

    Sometimes, she’ll have it on and she’ll press it by mistake because it’s around her neck and they would talk to her on there. Overall it’s great experience. A lot of times, I call in and if she took bath and forgot to put it on and I try to make sure she had it on because that’s for her own benefit. If anything happens, she can call them instead of trying to get to the phone and call me.

    When you get to be 91 years old, you feel that you could fall, and that is my main problem. If I were to fall outside, there would always be someone around. But in my home, I live alone; I could go, perhaps several hours if I didn’t have the alarm. A couple of years ago I had two handsome firemen knock on my bedroom door at 2:00 in the morning. I rolled over and pushed the little button and I think they were very alert. And I mentioned it to a friend who also had an alarm. She said the same thing happened to her so we felt very relieved that something like would happen. I call their customer service about every six weeks just to check on it, and that always works correctly. I feel that I would be very comfortable continuing on with the service.

    LifeStation has been excellent. When I need them, they’re right there. Since I’m short, the thing that goes around my neck hits the kitchen counter and other things all the time. It calls the LifeStation team and they call me right back. It must have happened 30 times. I can adjust it, but then, when I do, I can’t get it over my head. It’s probably my fault but they’re wonderful. I also lost my device once and I had to order another one, and they sent it right out. I’ve had LifeStation for over a year and I’m really pleased with it. I wouldn’t be without it. And I think every older person who's having problems with falling, dementia or anything should have something like it. I live by myself and I fall constantly and it’s a wonder I haven’t broken my neck. So far, I haven’t had to use it but it’s like a gun. If you ever had to use it one time, you were glad you had it.

    I'm old and I live alone so I got LifeStation. I got it through Kaiser since they offer a cheaper rate. It made my sons feel better knowing that there was someone that I could call if they weren't around. I'm very satisfied with LifeStation's service. I push the button once in a while to verify that everything is working and they're always there. Also, a year ago, someone stole my wallet and I changed all the numbers on all my cards. Somehow, it changed the emergency number and the life alert couldn't be reached. LifeStation was very nice then and kept the line open anyway and notified me of what was happening.     It was a good experience with LifeStation. I live by myself and I have a congestive heart failure. I have a defibrillator and numerous health conditions. I just try to be more careful and try not to move around, so there is a restriction on me. LifeStation put my mind at ease and I did not have to be stressed about what was going to happen if nobody is around me or how to let somebody know in case something happens. I'd recommend it to someone.

    The reps were nice, knowledgeable and helpful too. One time, when the button was pushed, it took a while before they answered the phone. But once we got them on the phone, they did all the things that need to be done like calling my family for me. If it went off and I didn’t respond, they call my family immediately with the emergency thing. I wish I still had it. I just had to put it on hold so I get my money right and figure out what they are going to do about my check. I'm going back and forth with them on that.

    I’m by myself and I’ve had two knee surgeries and I don’t get around the greatest and my kids insisted on a LifeStation device so I went ahead and got it. I’ve had a LifeStation device for quite a while and it has worked when it needed so it’s amazing. The LifeStation team have been really good. They got right on the ball and got people here when I’ve had to use the device when I fell. It was prompt both times I used it.

    The police used to come down first time and helped me out. And the next time it was a different story. My knee acted up and I wound up calling the squad and I went to the hospital all over that deal. The police got here quick and they called my daughter and then she got here as soon as she could.     I live by myself, and my son lives at a distance. So, I thought that I needed to be able to get a hold of someone if I had to, and decided to get a medical alert device. I got the LifeStation, and I feel okay once I have it with me. However, if I’m doing something different, like changing clothes, I have it someplace else. I have a little bit of trouble of always keeping it in my body. I also forget to call in to check the equipment from time to time, but they don’t reach out to me at all. So, it would be nice if they contacted me if I go a long time before I ask to check it.

    I also think that it would be better if I could get something that I could use outside, as well as inside of the house. My device is not set up to be used outside of the house, but I’ve talked with other people who’s had other kinds of medical alert devices, and they have had it with them even if they were in another city. So, I know that there could be a wide right, but I don’t have that. It also takes them quite a while to answer when I tested the device. But, it’s not that big of a deal as it might not be as long as it seems. It seems like a long time to me, but if I timed it, maybe it wouldn’t be that long.

    I live alone except for my cat. My cat walked on my LifeStation twice in the middle of the night and the firemen were quick to come to my house. However, I don't think it works outside of the house. I called LifeStation when something broke. They mailed it from New Jersey and it didn't get here for five days.     I’m having little problems walking and if I don’t use my walker, I have to hang on to a wall or lean up against the wall and walk. And so, I try to have my walker handy. I’ve heard of other people that have fallen and were in the house by themselves and they ended up staying on the floor for two or three days so I thought of having a medical alert device just in case and with LifeStation, I feel secure. I fell one day on my backside so hard. I called my son up and he said, “Ma, you have the button.” So I pressed the button and it didn't take a long time til two police people came and they picked me up. Luckily, my daughter was home that day so she was able to open the door. If not, they had given me a key lock and I did something with a code to give them another way to come in without a problem.     I got LifeStation since I’m an older person, I live alone, and I also have a bad hip. I was also looking into a device that I can use if I should go out because I only have the button for the home. My device is okay and I’ve never really had to use it, but the only thing is on the box, there’s a little light that keeps going on and it’s not supposed to be on. LifeStation said that there must be an old medical alert around and it is what keeps the light going on. And I only have one, but there’s always two lights and I got to keep shutting one of them off all the time and it’s weird.

    And then, when they sent me a new device, I took the other one and they told me to wrap it in aluminum foil and throw it away. And that’s what I did but the light still goes on. All I can do is to shut that little button off every time I go over to that part of the phone. I asked if there could be something electrical in my house that I have that is doing it, but they don’t know what’s going on either. Otherwise, everything else is fine and the LifeStation team is really good. They’re very nice on the phone. And anything I’ve ever had to ask, they’re there for me, which is good.

    I live in a senior complex and I have been spreading the word about LifeStation around here. I have posted one of their cards on the bulletin board so they could call their number and when they asked me what the button was for, I told them about it. I fell out of bed a couple of times and that was why I got a LifeStation device. And when I fell out of the bed the second time, my son asked me why I didn’t push the button. I didn't think about it but I got up okay. I was a little dizzy. However, I had a problem with it a few months ago. They told me it wasn’t the machine but my wristband, so I had to get a new one. Also, I wear the device in the apartment but it’s only good there. I was thinking of upgrading to the one that I can use if I'm going shopping, but I don't know how much that's going to cost me.     I fell and I needed medical alert service. My heart doctor wouldn't listen to a word I had to say until he said, "Where is your button?" So, before my next visit, I got one from LifeStation and I’m glad I did. I feel safe with it, especially when I'm in and out of my shower and I should've had it when they tried to break into my house a year ago. One time, I was stuck out in the garage but I didn't have my phone with me and I always wear the thing from LifeStation on my wrist. I didn't know if it would reach the box from my garage since it's back in my bedroom, but it did. The ambulance came with sirens on, and that embarrassed me, but I got help and they were really good.

    I wear the device at night but I have the thing taped to the bracelet around my wrist so that the button doesn't fall out. They tried to tell me it wasn't put in right but my son put it in and he put it in right. I don't like that design that they have there and I will definitely not wear one around my neck because you can strangle on that. I wish they'd have a wristband that would have a better design. But overall, my experience has been good and I've been satisfied, so far. I would recommend LifeStation to a friend.

    Before I got the device from LifeStation, I kept on falling and I was concerned with not being able to reach a phone. When I got LifeStation, I always make sure that I have the bracelet on. I’ve experienced problems with my vision and it affects my walking so I’m very careful. I don’t take it off even when I go to church or visiting. It’s not the most beautiful piece of jewelry to wear but once I put it on, I leave it on until I take a bath.     I live alone and my daughters thought I needed something in case of an emergency. So, they signed me up with LifeStation and I was glad they had. I tripped over a piece of rope and fell. I broke my arm and my nose. I was really in bad shape at the time. I was able to press the button, and I got help, which if I hadn't had the LifeStation, it probably would have led to death. So I've been very happy with it. It's been a couple of years now and everything is going well. I don't feel I'm alone. If I didn't have that, then I would probably worry about falling and not being able to get ahold of someone.

    And, their reps were very good. I wear the pendant, and a few times, I shut it off at night while I was sleeping, and their reps were very accommodating. I know that it works. A few times that it has popped out, I was able to get help. My only problem when I fell, I was out on my back porch and I could not hear my LifeStation. It's in my bedroom, that was the only place I had to put it. I couldn't hear it very well, but it wakes me up at night, it's loud enough. It's a real blessing because you never know when you need help. In fact, I have recommended it to other people that I know.

    When I wanted an alert system, my daughter researched all of the ones that were available and she chose LifeStation because she thought it was the best for me. Two weeks ago, my daughter was waking me at 3:00 in the morning and said, “Mom, what’s wrong with you?” I said, “Nothing.” And she said the LifeStation went off. She called and there was some sort of malfunction with their machine. And then she and they got together and they fixed it and it works okay now. I don’t use it very often and I realize I should right now check to see how it’s working. And I do periodically but so far, I haven’t had any problems.

    I live in an apartment building and the mail is kind of far down to get the mail and I could fall and nobody would hear me. I was hoping they would have a system out of my apartment, like going down the hall or down in the basement. I would recommend it to a friend however I might check other services that has wider coverage ‘cause I'm getting older. I’m 93 already. But I have not had any complaints about LifeStation.

    My family made me get LifeStation because I’m by myself. It has been handy. I’m a diabetic and the couple of times I had to go to the hospital, my blood sugar has dropped and I couldn’t get it back up. I was having hypothermia. I pressed the button and the ambulance came and took me to the hospital. LifeStation's team was pleasant and courteous but they were slow to answer my alarm. The device rang and then they picked up but there was a pause between when they picked up and when someone came on the line.     I had fallen quite a few times and the last time was not so good. I cut my head and I ended up in the emergency. And then, I was walking in my apartment with this little dog and I fainted. I went to the floor, so I had a headache that I couldn’t get rid of that night. And so, my daughter took me to emergency and they found out that there was a heart problem, which I didn’t realize that I had. I then got a medical alert device from LifeStation, and I know it's there if I need it. And I put a plastic cover over it because I am always concerned about someone touching the button and calling them. I also have the thing for my neck but I don’t wear it daily.

    I only had a good relationship with LifeStation. Their representatives called me when we moved the phone and the life alert was turned off for two days. And when we first moved into this house, we didn't have it set up for about a week and they constantly called. They've been very polite and they certainly knew what they were doing. And I've been very satisfied. I wish that people would know they need something before something had to happen. Anybody I have talked usually waits until something has happened and they realized they need a medical alert device. I've recommended LifeStation to many people.     LifeStation is excellent. Fortunately, I haven’t had to use it, but I feel very secure about it. It makes me feel better because I live alone. I had to replace it recently and there was no problem at all. I shipped the equipment back and installing the new equipment was not a problem. The thing that impresses me the most about LifeStation is that it works within 50 feet outside the house, because most of those medical alert systems, though some of them are cheaper, only work inside the house. LifeStation costs me $500 a month and they take it out of my checking account once a year.

    Another thing I like about LifeStation which I don’t think is true of the other alert systems is if the electricity goes out for whatever reason, the device will work for 48 hours. Also, I like the fact that if you want to talk to someone at LifeStation, you can, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. LifeStation allows me to live alone and not be concerned if I need help. It gives me peace of mind. I always recommend them.

    Three years ago, my son helped me purchase a LifeStation device. I have the medallion now and it's okay. When I travel, I use the device. I tested it out once and they answered right away. However, we were up in the mountain to do something and it didn't work. That was okay since I didn't need it at that time. I wanted the medallion as I thought it would be easier to take with me, however, it's a little big and more gangly than I would like. It should be smaller and I've seen the smaller ones on other people. We've paid through December with this, but after that, I'm not going to have this one anymore.     I’m 90 years of age and my nephew thought I might need LifeStation so I have the wrist one. When I take my showers in the morning, I always make sure it's near me. The LifeStation team were very pleasant. I have a corded phone and there’s a little plastic plug that goes into the wall. One time, I pulled up one of the plugs that go to it, so I couldn’t get my phone. I called LifeStation and they asked if I have another phone that they could talk to me on and I didn't have that so I was confused. If I had another phone, I wouldn’t be using the phone I have. So I'm annoyed that it’s so hard to get the little clip into the box it has to go into. They should have a better plug.

    At another time, I pressed the button by mistake and it went off. I didn’t think it was loud enough but they told me something and I didn’t have it straight up and down. I had it turned to the side so when they said that I should go to my right side or to the top, my top was different than what they were saying because I had turned it around. They should say instead that I should put something on the top as we’re talking. It’s just that I didn’t have it positioned like they thought I had. Better yet, they should have the outside frame a little higher up. Otherwise, you can rub against it and set it off. It's so vulnerable and I don’t want to have the police come. I wish it was cheaper, too.

    My experience with my LifeStation medical alert was good. I had my device for a long time but it went dead, it wasn't working, there was something with the battery. The battery was low and then it went out so they sent me a new one. So I got a new one now. The reps that I've spoken with were very good and very understanding. I had this LifeStation medical alert for a while now because I was sickly. I was in the hospital for eight months and where I lived at, I had a phone but I had the medical alert. So I brought it with me and it was working for a good while and then there's no battery in there.

    I definitely feel more confident than before. Most of the time I just take it off and put it around my neck. I could press the button and their reps would come on and ask me, and they know my name, and they can send an ambulance right here. They got the address and everything. The medical alert is very good for me that's why I wear it all the time. I think everybody my age should get one. Too bad it's not the one like when you fall down in the street, they'll know where you're at. They got those out too. But I can't afford those. Overall, it's very good. I like the device and I like the people that come on when you need them.

    I like to have my LifeStation in case something happens, especially when I'm here by myself. I feel safer with it and I've had it for a long time. I test it every once in a while. I hit my button and they responded in not over a couple of minutes. The reps I talked to were great. They came through the speaker on my machine and asked me if I was okay or if I needed help.     I am 91 and I live alone at the end of a cul-de-sac. I was working at the backyard, and I thought that if something happened, I have no neighbors that are home during the day. So, I could be there for a long time, and decided that I better do something about it. I got the LifeStation, and it’s very good. I’ve had it for 4 years now, and fortunate for me, I’ve only had one instance where I’ve had to use them. I was having a really bad stomach pain, and my son decided that I better do something. So, we though that we’d try the system, and they were very prompt and no problems at all.

    I recently changed models, from the one that was just for the inside of the house, to the one that carries everything out because I was going out with friends. I thought that if something happened out there, it would be hard for them, too. So, I decided to get this one because it has a wider range. But I don’t like it as well as the other one because it’s heavier and I’m not quite sure about the charger. I don’t know if it is okay to leave it there, so I take it off at night and put it by my bed. Otherwise, it’s very good, and I would definitely recommend them.

    My wife is blind and I'm hard of hearing. And we're getting older, I'm 86 and she's 85. I needed something that if she or I fell, we could get a response. I fell one time outdoors. She was indoors and I was working in the yard, I fell and almost knocked myself out. And that dropped me to the conclusion that I needed some help. I've had a couple of different medical alert devices since. But I was trying to get something that we can talk to somebody if we need to. And so I had the LifeStation.

    However, it's a little heavy around our neck and larger than some pieces. It would be better if it were lighter and smaller. I have one from another company, it was a little white thing and very light but we couldn't talk to it. We can press the button and help will come but not talk to anybody. It has to be through their base station. Also, I had one that was too sensitive. It always went off and that was a nuisance because it was bothering when it didn't need to.

    With the LifeStation, even though if I move around, it swings around or bumps into something, it doesn't call. I just hope it works if we need it. Overall, I'm satisfied with the experience. One thing I wasn’t happy about, though, was they raised the price. I'm on a budget and had $25.95 allocated for this. They added up to that piece for my wife and I. I called them and they said if I had paid that one payment of $32.95, they would be able to take it back down. We paid but it didn't go back.

    I feel very good with my LifeStation. My daughter got it for me now that I'm back in my own house and I had a couple of falls. I took it as she thought it provides a sense of security. I wear the necklace but not the bracelet as I have problems when I'm cooking or when I'm doing things. With the necklace, I just put it down my shirt. LifeStation is going to send me a pin though because the battery is out on my necklace. I've had a wonderful experience and when I called LifeStation, people came.     I have a difficult time with my feet and I am so insecure in walking and it’s terrible. Also, I am alone here 99% of the time so I needed a medical alert device if something were to happen. I had a medical alert service from a hospital before and they came out and set up everything. But the hospital and I had a fallout. Then I saw on a counter something that said, “You need to sign up. If you don’t have a LifeStation, get this LifeStation.”

    I have a little button here by my bed that I can push and I have the alarm. The thing though is the alarm here has gotten pushed by air or by the cleaning lady and reps come on asking, calling at the back of the house. But with the way the alarm is set up, if there's a problem, nobody can get back to the back of the house to answer.

    Also, I wish I could get set up with the thing for the body and that way I can have the medical alert with me at all times which is necessary. But it's very difficult for me to follow instructions because I'm not too tech savvy. I could have certainly used that feature though. As I came in from church one Sunday, I took a fall at the back door. Fortunately, I had my cell phone with me. The alarm went off and I was on the floor. The alarm company started calling and they reached me on my cell phone. I answered them and they started getting things processed for me. The police department refused to come out to help me but the alarm company got the fire department to eventually come. I was probably down on the floor for about an hour before anything happened. But it's a comfort to know that LifeStation responds so quickly and I’m satisfied with that.

    I paid for my sister's service on an annual basis which was due in August. When I contacted the LifeStation company and informed them that the service would no longer be needed, and could they possibly refund the money paid minus the amount between August and October, they indicated that I needed to return the unit and then they would proceed. After returning the unit, they informed me that they don't make refunds. I paid the money annually in good faith and now they keep the other 10 months. DO NOT USE this service!!!

    I'm a good age now and it was my daughter’s idea for me to have a device handy just in case anything happened. I've only got to push one little button of my LifeStation device and they answer. I've been testing it because they say to test it and the only thing is that they don’t answer straight away, which would be exasperating if you wanted them really urgently.     A friend of mine likes her LifeStation and she recommended it to me. I’m happy with it. My kids also insisted I get it so I’ve got it and I have been using it. I only worry about it when it starts blinking. I don’t know why it’s blinking and somebody has to come and fix it for me but then I’d have that problem no matter. I also get calls and I don’t know why because I haven’t pushed the button. Sometimes it goes off and I don’t know why but that’s okay, too, better be safe than sorry. But I'm confused about charging the device because I don't know how often I'm supposed to do that and which button to push. Also, when I push the button, it takes a while and then, they come on.     I’ve been with LifeStation for a year. When I first got it, I had been in the hospital for a month and when I came home, I wasn’t able to do anything actually. I was afraid of falling or if I needed any help and my husband is hard of hearing. That was the reason I got the LifeStation. I’m up and around a lot better now. I’m able to do some light work around the house but I could fall at any time. In the bathtub, I’ve always been afraid when I get in the shower. Fortunately, I haven’t needed LifeStation in an emergency but I have checked with them to see if my equipment is working all right and it’s always been okay so I’ve been satisfied with them.

    For being around the house, it works and serves fine. Whenever I’m away from home, my husband is with me so I haven’t made any attempt to try to get more service but it would be nice if I could also use it if I were away from home. I’m unable to drive now so I’m not out there by myself though. Some of my friends could use it but they drive and they’re off by themselves so they would need something that would serve as well when they’re away from home.

    My mom had her stroke and she's back at home and doing pretty well. But we wanted an added level of safety if she needed help so we got the LIfeStation. It's comforting to have and it's a big relief that we've never had to use it for real. The times we've had to test it and do various things that way, their people have been super great to work with. It amazes me how fast they get back when I press the help button and we really appreciate it. The only thing is that my mom has properties. So when she walks out to the barn, we weren't sure if the LifeStation would wok for quite a distance. We tested it once and it did work, but one time, it didn't.     My children wanted me to have the LifeStation medical alert service. If the device goes off, I call somebody to cut it off. If somebody tries to break in, it would be good to have this device.     I would recommend LifeStation. Their response and professionalism are great when I test my button. I wanted to make sure I had something in case I felt like I wasn’t secure on my feet. I got LifeStation, but it’s a little bit big to have around my neck. What I really like is a small one to wear on my wrist, but they are all too big. I had seen one several years back that a lady wore that was like a flat wrist watch. It was nice, and she could wear it in the shower. I don’t know why they don’t make them like that anymore. At night I twist and turn so I probably have them calling half the time, so I don’t wear it at night. I should wear it when I get up to go to the bathroom but I don’t, and I have started doing that just to be on the safe side.

    I wear my LifeStation button every day and have talked about it to other people. I’m quite active and I’m not home-bound, but the minute I get up, before I even get my clothes on, I put it around my neck. Some people have it on their wrist, but I prefer it around my neck, and at night, I have a nightstand just within reach right by my bed. I take it off because when I first had it, I wore it one night and I guess I turned over and turned it on. I check it about twice a month and the team at LifeStation has been very nice.

    My son decided that I have a LifeStation medical alert device. I have tried putting it in my pocket and it goes off. When it went off I did not hear the buzz. It also goes off when I tried wearing it around my neck, so I just leave it in the station. I’m dissatisfied.

    I’ve been trying to get my sister to get LifeStation. What she needs is one that she can buzz anywhere, where she goes, where she wears it all the time. The one I have is just within a certain limits of the house, where the monitor is and I've had a good experience. I have less worries especially when my daughter isn’t here because I have LifeStation. Everything is fine and I definitely recommend it.

    I've got a problem with my device right now but LifeStation is taking care of it. They said that the battery of the one that I wear around my neck had got low. It woke me up four times the other night and so I called yesterday. I told the rep what was wrong and the necklace thing is getting ready to be on the way.

    My mom's elderly and she had a stroke so I got her a LifeStation. She has had it for two years. She has one at her house and another one at my house because she's with me on the weekend. She feels more confident with it. In case anything happens, she can hit the button. Moreover, they're pretty helpful when you call in and set it up. They also gave me a discount because I have two locations. I like it overall. It's pretty good.

    The thing I wear around my neck is too damn heavy. I've had it for a week but half the time I don’t wear it. I'm almost to the point where I’m gonna get from a different company. The one I had before was gray and very light. I could go 500 feet with that one, but that wasn’t enough for me now. If LifeStation had one like that, I would take that in a minute because it was light. This one here feels like I'm carrying a gun around my neck. Especially for all those years I had the lighter one, then all of a sudden it's about the size of a deck of cards cut in three. I’m not used to it and I'm very dissatisfied.

    I've been pleased with LifeStation. But it doesn't work very far from my apartment. So I don't go anywhere without somebody unless I'm at the grocery store where there's a lot of people that could help. And the thing is I've seen them advertised where they work anywhere you are. I've told my daughter maybe we should look for one that does have a further range.

    One time I accidentally set it off. I was carrying groceries in and I had the device on my arm. They called wondering if I needed help. I couldn't figure out why they're calling and then it came to me I had something on my arm. They responded fairly quickly. I wouldn't expect them to call sooner than that. As soon as I came in from the hall I found that they were talking to me. So far so good. I've been happy with it.

    I'm 88 years old and I live alone. Getting the LifeStation seemed to be the thing to do and since I got it, I feel a little better about being alone. It was also there when I needed it. The first time was when my speech was garbled. I called them and told them I couldn't talk. They asked me what was wrong but by that time they could hardly understand me. The second time, I've been in the hospital a day and came back the next day. But it was a little too soon because they gave me a medication I was allergic to. So I was shaking and I was home alone. I called LifeStation again and the same people picked me up the next day and took me back to the same hospital.

    So, LifeStation worked twice very well. Their reps were very nice and they handled everything beautifully. They ordered the paramedics then they called my family and reported back to me. I told them not to call the first one on the list because it was my sister who is very old. I told them to call the second one and that's what they did. They did everything they needed or supposed to do and I was very pleased with their service.

    I had a lot of pain and wasn't doing good. I also live alone and my children especially thought I should have some way of getting help if I couldn't reach them. My medical company told me about LifeStation and I'm glad I got it. I feel more secure and I know if I need help I can get it real quick. Their reps have always been very good and very nice.     I was sick all the time a couple of years ago. I had pneumonia so much, and my husband felt better that I had LifeStation. But now, I’m off of oxygen. And I have one of those testers myself that I can test my oxygen and my heart. I'm in physical therapy now and my balance is better because they’re working on that. They’re teaching me how to start standing up on my own without relying on anything. And last time I was there, I walked just holding on to the physical therapist’s fingers just so she was there. But I'm glad to have LifeStation and I don’t want to get rid of it.
